GMGM everyone welcome to the Entology Tutor Space or monthly event here. Let me bring it up my colleague Polaris, colleague and friend.
to the stage and budding him up.
Just give us a moment what we set up. How are you doing Polaris? GM Humpty, how are you doing my brother?
I'm doing really, really good. It's just my internet. The Wi-Fi is not allowing access to Twitter. So I mean, I hope you can hear me. I'm on 5G. Strange.
Yeah, you know, I sometimes find that Wi-Fi drops Twitter spaces more than when you're on your phone, interestingly enough, or like, you know, 5G, for instance.
Yeah, and then I've tried like connecting my laptop as well and it's not doing it for some reason and all other
the website everything's fine it's just Twitter for some reason it's not doing it but as long as we can hear clearly and I'm hearing you clearly that's alright
amazing. Yeah. I'm sending the announcement on Discord to see if anybody in our Discord community who is online waiting for us there can join us up here. So we
we call it's happening on Twitter spaces to share the link. All right. So let's kick this off. So yeah, you were starting to, let's just start with a round of introductions maybe, and then we'll just
kick off with just a Web 3 in Shelter. This is usually a space for us to just explore the space of Web 3, maybe hopefully connect that to what anthology is building. So I myself Humpty Calderon, head of community at anthology, connecting the community
of, you know, ontology developers, the community of ontology, stakers, delegators, and developers across other blockchains to participate in the ontology ecosystem. Polaris, how are you doing, man? Give us a quick intro to yourself.
Hey, yeah, I'm doing really good and my name is Polaris and I'm one of the Harbinger's for ontology and I'm also a node validator and I host community
I'm a big fan of ontology in terms of what they're trying to bring to the space, to the industry, how focused they are towards trying to
create a business-centric, you know, economy or an infrastructure which helps facilitate
and enter pricey corners.
So, um, yeah, actually you brought something up there that I think we should try to unpack. Yeah, sorry, I thought you were done. You broke up a little bit. Um, you said something there that I actually want to unpack because I don't think I've ever really asked you before and I would just be interested to hear your personal
perspective of that and that's operating a node. So maybe we can just kick off the conversation I think for entology at least in that ecosystem the ONT delegation right staking your ONT earning rewards and ONTG participating in the
that way. That seems to be one of the more, I guess, one of the more frequently used ways of interacting with the Intology ecosystem. So can you walk me through a little bit about your personal, I guess, inspiration, desire,
To want to be a node operator and then maybe we can just kind of go from there and talk a little bit about your experience so far and you know how that's you know the community that you built around that and the reward mechanisms because I don't think I've ever really talked to you about that
I'd love to share my insights on that and my personal perspective. First of all, I've been with ontology since the very start. I've been following them and I received a airdrop from Neo, so that's how I got in. So I'm basically from the very beginning.
The reason why I got airdroped ontology was because of the neo ecosystem. The reason why I like neo ecosystem was because of the dual nature of duality of tokens where you have got the neo token and the gastro and then of course ontology was based
on the same mechanism. So that was the first thing which got me on board because I always like the concept of you know having assets but then those assets laying babies on top of it like you know it's something which is I think it's for all of us it's something which is is good.
And then obviously I've been following the BTC saga since 2014 and I dive deep in early 2017. So I knew what the industry required and everything was trying to achieve in terms of crypto
and blockchain technology. So at that point my initial thing was to kind of like you know just take, get some ontology and then take them and when we when we started before there was
