Tonight we are featuring the marketplace crypto comics and we are also featuring
Ascension's I've just realized I made a mistake and a title, but I'll change in just a minute. Hope everyone is good
I will give everyone a brief rundown of how we conduct our spaces
I will then introduce our team who will be on stage and then I will introduce our amazing guests for this evening
We normally do our space is a little different than other projects or other communities conduct their spaces
We like to conduct a more laid-back
Professionals approach giving our guests an opportunity to really dive deep into their ecosystems
So we normally feature two guests per space giving each guests up to 60 minutes to break down their ecosystems
You don't have to utilize a full 60 minutes if you don't wish to do so
But you are more than welcome to utilize it almost everybody always does
I know it sounds like a lot especially if that's not what you're used to but once we start to dive into it time flies
We obviously don't like to get a better understanding
Have you of who you are as people what your vision is for the space that you're in and how you found web 3 and then
What it is that you do and then a deep dive into your ecosystem

Where we can we can all come together over web 3
we so crypto comics marketplace has been a passion project of me and my
founding partners for the last well
me and Joe really got together around
2018 we weren't really on the scene yet because of all the the backbone that had to really be
We didn't do a traditional build-out of a marketplace where you focus on your technical
technology and try and get to
We actually went a different route
We reached out to creators and we asked them to join us in building a marketplace
That represents them and what they want to accomplish and and what makes the experience
Like like the physical comic experience
We're really blessed on our team to have some real big enthusiasm comic enthusiasts like fry
Who has helped us really understand that aspect and help us learn how to have those conversations?
So that we can we could extract the understanding of what is needed in a marketplace
So that you can have this great digital experience web 3 really makes digital
Collecting possible and that's fries a major collector. I shouldn't be keep referring to him that defy you should say hello
crypto AF if you guys don't know and
Really helped us understand the the the importance of collecting and then when you draw in the web 3
That gives the ability for digital collecting
I mean, how amazing is it and anybody can answer this question? How amazing is it that we're doing this now?
Collectibility being able to offer an asset digital asset that someone can own and resell
Truly it truly amazing and
That in and of itself is is just where we kind of started see when we back in the beginning
We were like, hey, you know, what's what is needed?
What's out there and and what it was is that people have a hard time publishing?
So we were like, well, we want to make it so anybody can publish, you know
And so we started to build that way
But as we got into it and as Joe was like, you know, we really need to look at web 3 crypto is amazing
This is this is going to empower people empower creators and power owners and and me and fry and that we're all like
Oh man, this this is incredible. This is a technology that could
Completely reinvigorate the comic book industry, you know comic I I've gotten to know comic creators over the last
Comic creators are incredible. I've never met people who
Who have to hold down multiple jobs besides myself and my team
They have so much passion for what they're they want to communicate and the way that they communicate is so beautiful
Amazing and it's it has the ability to communicate
the picture is worth a thousand words comics are being
embodiment of that and so it's just been this phenomenal thing that we've been able to be a part of and and
it's been a rough guys that don't get me wrong like
We have I mean we started One Direction and then things changed and I mean web 3 is
Chaotic almost, you know, but the cool thing is is because we were able to bandwidth creators and
Bandwidth the people that that really wanted to just open up a new way to do things
We've been able to build a marketplace where creators are empowered and fans are empowered and
And it's where you know, not just a big whales can participate in the people with lots of money can buy NFTs
You know people like us can go and actually buy a comic at a decent price and enjoy that comic whether it's through your
laptop or through your phone and
And find other people who enjoy those comics and share those and and this marketplace
That's what crypto comics was really built around around. We're so happy to be a part of web 3
We believe that done right decentralized that it's going to be what allows humans to really
Move forward into ownership of their own data and and I believe that everyone here is a part of that
Mission. So I'm just happy to be in your guys's ranks. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I

From from my perspective. It was really interesting with the platform to
Just just upload, you know from an artist creative perspective being able to upload the content and the assets and
Visualize how many pages you could showcase to potential buyers without the need for them to purchase and stuff
How long did it take you guys to realize?
The sort of the UI and all of the things you put in place
Were the right fit for your audience and how did you go about putting that together?
Blood sweat and tears would be my first answer
Second, I don't think we're even close to done yet. It's a
Trudged through the trenches if you will
I believe the reason that we're where we're at currently is because
Web 3 is beautiful, but something that we can't lose is our connection to humanity and
we we connect with people and we we take the time to listen to to what
they're telling us and then we try and
Interpret that into the code and the user interface and and and and then we put it out and we test it and we get more
feedback and and I mean unfortunately, you know, I don't know how these big people do it, but the corporate funded
platforms because the slow March allows us to really refine
The user experience and the user experience is something that's grown in my personal opinion from my experience in this endeavor
And the only way you can grow it is through participation through people
Taking that risk taking that chance to to engage the platform
Use it and then actually believe that if they submit feedback that they're going to get communicated with
One thing in web 3 that I didn't like when I first got involved was the lack of communication. I felt
We're trying to change that we want to bring communication to the forefront and make sure that people
Feel like that special individual because it's the individual that adds to the collective that makes the power of the people
Just just to reiterate and answer that really is that I'm a I'm a testament to the fact that that feedback works
Right that humans a human connection, you know, I dropped an email to you guys to say
100 comics to my to my community and you guys answer straight away and you came back with solutions
You didn't just go go here go here. You wrote out
Sort of a step-by-step process of how I could do that
And you know that means a lot to be able to give that back to someone who's trying to you know
Connect with a community and give them the best experience possible. So props to you guys. It's really good
We'll both thank you. Thank you and props to you
you know that that email is huge to us that gives us the ability to find a
trajectory if you will and
And start working our way over to that to that solution that's going to empower everyone

So awesome. You have no idea that is
That is what makes this thing go and and it's a long haul guys
we're in it to win it and and
we know that we're on the cutting edge not just of innovation and technology, but on the cutting edge of
You know be able to find that. Oh, hey, you know, there's there's really important reasons why web 3
Are so important, you know like decentralization less dependency on third parties more control over your content and ownership
as well as transparency and security and it's our responsibility as
The as the ones trudging the path or should I say literally making the path as we go
To help educate people on how it works and why it matters
Right, and I apologize getting a little excited if I crackled guys

But but you know, it's it really is to be a part of this it I feel
Insignificant in in a way that's beautiful because I know that together we all
Are making a difference for the world. We are changing the world
Our collective is changing the world for the good for the better for for for the people for humanity
And I I'm a part of team humanity man. I think it's wonderful. I think it's great
I think that we're going to help people
You can do this as long as you stick to the recipe of decentralization giving people their ownership of their data. I
Just wanted to jump in there as well and just say that I feel that you are absolutely found your people
in this space because you know this this that we're all in is so much deeper than the
The digital stuff that we're working with because it is it's about the people, you know
We call it a movement for the people by the people and and it's amazing that you know
like what we value and what let's just say Andy for example, what Andy valued is the the the experience with the team at
Crypto Comics for him to best utilize the platform and get the best experience for you know
The people that may want to purchase and read his comics and it sounds like you guys did a great job
But you know of doing that but on that note, I'll go to Andy who's got his hand up fire away, Andy
Sorry, it's just um, you know
Just a great flow of conversation here in terms of you know, what we're talking about the creator economy, right?
We're bringing creatives have gravitated towards web 3 because of that sort of content ownership
because of the ability to be able to maintain ownership over their creative endeavors and
I think what you guys have done at Crypto Comics has made that that sort of experience as
Seamless and painless as possible, you know, I'm a creative
I'm in and out of the space where to and where to and for me at the very beginning of 2021
It was oh god, I need a smart contract. Oh god, I need all of these things
So I've got to learn all of this stuff in order to actually get my content and get my stuff into the world
Crypto Comics gets rid of that barrier because what you've built and what you're continuing to evolve right now is
Something that took away the worry about the technical uplift that people and creators and artists need to worry about
When they start onboarding themselves into web 3, so, you know, please please please continue doing what you're doing. This is an awesome platform

Just because we're stubborn
We're a band of brothers and sisters that have that have come together
With with a goal and a cause and every single member of our team
from founding partners to to contributors
We all have a single focus, which is to to
Make it a place where creators
can make a living doing what they love and
To support those creators directly forget the middleman
I think the problem with the world is the middleman and that needs to be taken out of the equation that that was that was
one of the biggest things that
Our team came to grips with early is is we want to be a part of the future and get rid of the middleman
So that the people can make their living and not have to worry about, you know, I mean
Most creators I know I would say at least 98% of them
They all work multiple jobs
But and and in that process, they're still delivering
Content that takes time and work and planning and passion and you got to drive through the worst of times, you know
You feel like oh, I don't feel good today
Ah, but I got to kick out a page and they do it and it's so inspiring. It's so amazing
That's one of the reasons why I just love being a part of this industry
Because you creators you're you're so amazing at how you push through
Adversity and we find our best selves on the other side of adversity and creators really they really taught me and inspired me
Just just pushing through that adversity even though it seems like an impossible hill to climb
You just go through it and on the other side you realize oh man inch by inch. I made it
Amen, yeah, absolutely loving your energy. It's amazing species like on a work up half an hour ago
That energy is just very infectious. I have to say one of the things I love about your
Platform is the ability to add
Book to the comics so you can tie in the audio book of the comics
which is important for us because we we paired an audio book to our comics so that it would become a
Reading tool and a reading aid for younger audiences as well. So I'm super impressed with that feature, mate
I think that's that's an amazing feature. And I think that's gonna be a huge win for you guys

There's a book in the system right now
I'm sorry. You guys can't get it. I probably shouldn't even have mentioned it because you can't but it's awesome
And it has audio it has video it has
it's it literally takes every feature that we built for this marketplace because
When you get into the digital space a lot more things become available and we wanted to take comics to the next level
So thank you so much salty for for reminding me of the audio
But the audio is one piece that we had it's a jukebox feature
you can do multiple audio so you can do actually a soundtrack you can do a
Commentary and then you can also do people reading script
So it's the audio feature is really dramatic and and depth and and how you can enhance your comic
But you also have the ability to do full motion video on the pages
So just to give you an example, let's say you you're able to do a page
You could you could you know add a static in the TV on
The box in the TV so that there's static playing on your comic page, you know things like that
And then we also did links now a lot of marketplaces
Don't want you to jump out of their marketplace obviously because if you go somewhere else chances are you won't come back
There's just too much out there
But we really wanted to be different and so we do allow links like you can set up an Etsy link to a page
so you're showing something off and
Then they can go right to that to purchase, you know because again our marketplace were non-exclusive
Our marketplace is for the creators to make money
So if you make money by selling off at see we want to get your sales to Etsy because that's where you're gonna make money
And these links also allow for you to do like a choose your own destiny type
Comic book and things of that nature. So to be honest
The feature set in crypto comics is super rich. Again. We started working with the creators first not worrying about sales
And so we've really made some impressive features
But but I encourage everyone salty and or anybody out there who is a creator on this on this space
To go in and try things and do things because we don't even know what these features are capable of it
It's gonna be amazing what you creators come up with
Yeah, I just have to say on that not first of all salty sharks welcome

They are able to utilize these platforms and Jared

But as a creator yourself with a comic feature attached to your ecosystem
What is your perspective so far on how you feel about the crypto comics marketplace?
How's it going guys before I start talking to you guys, it's been a minute but the but work never ends
You know, so we've been working behind the scene working on web to making some moves
So it's nice to see you guys and as always when I come here, I have a gift for you guys
So even today I have a gift for you guys
Comics, I just saw you guys yesterday when I got to know about this space and you guys have done a great job and
Still we don't have a comic book, but it's it's a great platform that you guys have made
It's when I went there. It looks amazing. So it's a great job
And that I I'll drop some gems because I've been with the comic market in web 2 and there were some
Challenges that I saw and I would like to like share the solutions and all that which is I believe which will help you
To crypto comics. So and it's great to know you guys. It's great to be here

Uh, I just want to quickly mention, uh salty sharks, I believe has a has a comic in

But did it says read along with the audio book? Did you were you able to put the audiobook into the system salty?
Well, I attached the audiobook to
The first page of the comic so I know you've got audio
A tributable every page because we've got a
Uh, I was able to to tie that to the first page
I so this gets into the the nitty-gritties and and
crypto af would be a better person to explain this but I believe if you
You have to take that audio break it up into bits for each page
And then upload those per page to get it to read along with the book because once you turn the page
It moves to the next file
Um, give me a thumbs up crypto af if that's correct
Because it'll it'll start reading and then you turn the page and then it and then it goes to read the next file
I i'm thinking because things develop very very quickly and
And sometimes things don't happen quick and sometimes things happen quick
And i'm not sure if the system takes and divvies up that
Sound file. I don't believe that it does. I will um, let me let me do some research real quick
And i'll get back on that
So that's all right. I I haven't uh, I haven't gone to the
Haven't gone down the path of breaking the audio file up into pages, but uh,
Yeah, it'd be possible to do so. All right
It would it would the only reason I bring it up and I apologize I try not to interrupt
Um, the only reason I bring it up is because it will it will super enhance
That experience like that will be so freaking awesome
To have it read along with you. That's that's that is a whole new kind of experience
And and anybody who who takes the extra effort and time to create that. Thank you

Jared just for anyone who might have absolutely no idea what crypto comics marketplace is
Is there a way you can just sort of give a brief explanation of what it is and how people can utilize it from?
Um a creator perspective but also from a consumer perspective. Is that okay?
so basically crypto comics marketplace is a
We we help creators be able to digitally deliver their comics
Um, we are working on being able to take credit card payments so that we can assist the creator
Not only in the web 3 but also in the web 2 as well
Depending on their their their fan base the the 360 of crypto comics marketplaces anyone can publish
It doesn't cost anything to create an account
We've made it so that the the actual creators can control
It's it's very easy very simple very straightforward purchase to purchase
We believe that as a group as as the marketplace grows as a group then the more people involved in the marketplace
The more independent creators will be able to benefit from that culmination of fans now
So anyone can be a creator
However, there's people that don't want to be a creator and they can just buy and purchase there's way to display your collections
And things of that nature. We're really trying to
Meet the needs of not only the creators, but the fans too and and you know, I like to show off stuff, you know
Nobody ever comes to my house or nobody ever sees it
But I like to show it off and and we know that fans really like to do that, too
So we have been working on ways for the fans to to be able to showcase their collections and and showcase their favorite
Creators because again that comes right back to helping those creators created living doing something that they love which
That is awesome and you know, I am I'm really excited
this is how you conduct things because
It's it's awesome that you can clearly hear the passion in in your voice and you can hear the passion in how you
Do things and it's great that there's two people on this
Very stage who are both utilizing your platform and are not only happy with that experience
But also the interaction that they have

That is customer service and people forget that humans like interacting and working with people who actually
Speak to them and talk back to them

It can only go up from there in terms of adding features

absolute a pure example of andy finding this platform that then rob utilized that then
We learned about and now we're all in a room together all doing our own thing in web3
But coming together to share the same passion
For the industry and seeing it being utilized from every angle, you know
And I just think that that is absolutely mind-blowing if i'm honest and uh, yeah definitely gets me going because uh, you know
We're super super, you know passionate about web3 in general
So to see it from every perspective like this in in one room is just amazing. So
Question for jared as well. Uh, how does the
Um the payment to create it create his work. So obviously when they put a comic up people buy it
The revenue from that those sales, but how does that then go to creatives and how frequently and what's the process behind it?
You're saying how frequently what's the problem so so like the the percentage are you asking what the percentage breakup is
Yeah, can you give us more info on on that whole process? What's the percentage breakup? Uh, when do they get paid?
Like, you know, how does that work?
There's there's two different ways that to get paid there's there's the the crypto way which I believe is a in
70 30 split or an 80 20 split and then the credit card processing is not going to be
That's not understood yet
Um, just because we're still dealing with the merchant account aspects and things like that, um, and it works a lot different
Than the uh than the crypto does um, then on the on the um resales I believe it's
5% to the original creator
It's either 70 or 80 to the seller and
No, it's 10 to the creator 10 to the house and then
Um 80 to the original seller on the resales
I believe let me double check my numbers. Hold on one second. So the original sale is 70 30
Does that answer your question
Yeah, absolutely. I just think it's a it's an important part of the process. I think that it's it's good for people to understand how that works
Um prior to you know putting up their their content. No, absolutely. Absolutely. Um
It's it's very important to understand what you're getting paid
And I apologize because we're bringing in credit cards and that has been a very complex situation
For the marketplace. So I apologize if I don't sound firm on on things. It's so so
We really wanted to make the marketplace so that the creator walked away with the lion share if you will
We still wanted to pay keep the lights on but in in what we found as we were
As we were doing market research and things amazon. Everybody else's
Is they used pricing tactics to make you?
sell to get a certain percentage
Um, and we didn't we never wanted to be that we don't we don't want to be a marketplace of do what we say
Or else you're not going to be able to make the market work for you type pay to play if you will
Um, so we really wanted to come up with hard hard numbers
So like 70 percent of of the original sale, so you're the publishing account you publish
Onto the blockchain you make a sale 70 percent of that purchase goes right to the creator. That's deposited in your
And then you can you can extract it from there 30 goes to the house that and that's what we use to keep on the lights
80 percent goes to the seller now
The reason that the reseller gets the lion share in this particular instance is because that's the only way you can really hold value in
A resale the the resale aspect
Is what makes web 3 so enticing, you know?
And and it really opens the door for the creator to make even more money
right because they this is something that the that
Comic book creators really never got to enjoy. Uh book owners musicians. They'll get royalties
But comic book creators really didn't and we were we were not cool with that. Um, especially since a lot of our team are
Creator first fans. They're they're like hey, man, these people need to make money. So the real the the
The resale is important to incentivize and we felt that by giving the seller
So so I buy a comic I buy salty sharks and then i'm like, all right
I've read it and I bought me two copies and my first one has a lower
Um in number so i'm gonna sell my second one
But I get 80 percent of that resale and what that does is it allows me to recoup most of my costs
Which in turn will give me the the comfort and security to think oh, hey i've got funds now I can use on another comic
Because i'm recouping the majority of that of that um of that sale price
10 goes to the creator on that resale every time it's resold
10 it's always going to go to that creator and that's what creates that that royalty aspect for the comic book creator
And some people have put novels in our system, but that's what creates that. Um that
Building building wealth while you sleep if you will
Um right now in the industry comic book people have to really focus on sales
They sell one they got to sell another one because
The the money that they received for the first one's already gone in the second third fourth and fifth one
They need to get to the sixth sale and they're on the third sale and it it becomes a very stressful
Very stressful thing with the ability to resell again web 3. Thank you. So awesome
Um now we've empowered a way for creators to make money while they sleep if people are buying used books
You know because they don't got as much money as other people who can buy the first mint
Then we've now begun a whole new economy for creators to generate money while they sleep and it's not dependent on
Them making a sale as much as a network. They share again coming back to owning your own content your your own information
So then 10 goes to the house
Um 10 goes to the house and and that's again to help us afford to keep on the lights. Um,
A real partnership statement rather than taking more from the creator
We wanted to we wanted to share so we put ourselves equal with the creator, which we felt was a good statement
of support and solidarity
Pretty much on so so when you when you come into like publishing so right now you can publish on the polygon network
We always cover gas on mint for the polygon network
Because it's one of the reasons why we started with the polygon network to be honest
It was we could cover the gas now anybody who's been in this space long enough knows
Uh, what what happened to ethereum?
It was super low gas and then all of a sudden it went up and like ruined a whole bunch of people
As we come out with other networks because we are we want to be multifaceted multi-network support
depending upon the network and the gas fees associated will be whether or not a creator or a
Is required to pay the gas fees, but right now currently in the marketplace
We cover the gas cost to publish on polygon, which is which is pretty pretty awesome
Um, you know, it makes sales easier for those who aren't familiar with web3 standards for sure
Also, I wanted to point out that the funds are deposited by the contract at point of sale or resell
We do not bank anything through the process. So so this is this is contract to contract transaction again
That was a big big huge part of that and and again
I don't have the details on credit card processing because we're we're working through that and it's and again
It's adding a level of complexity that until we're for sure
I just don't have numbers to give it on that side of the fence

with some very big names and
Some of those are big in manga space
And I don't know if you guys are aware of this
A large portion are actually really drawn to and and adopting in web 3 and so this
Combination that we're doing
With these few big names is really I believe going to be something that really is going to draw a tremendous amount of attention to the space
so having you all a part of this with us
And supporting us and being there to help us generate that activity within the marketplace

Sentimental physical comics that were given to me by some of the creators within our marketplace. However
Probably has a few and he probably won't sell them to you for any price

A few of the things that we're working on right now when you guys were requesting alpha details
We've got a few other networks that we're currently in testing on
Jared kind of talks a little bit about ethereum. That's one of them that we're working on
The biggest thing is just you know going off of
Demand and the amount of support that we can give to each network
You know things like ethereum. It's it's kind of hard to justify to a normal comic buyer
Um on how the gas works and how expensive it is to to operate on ethereum
But that's definitely something we've seen a lot of people interested in so we're looking into different things like that
Outside of that. Yeah, it's just I mean crypto comics is basically a marketplace that's been built to
Kind of merge the audience of web 3 and and standard comics
so a lot of what we're doing is to try to to make it so that
You know web 3 technology is more feasible
For for that demographic for for that market that's out there for comic books
You know and these are the these are the type of people that are used to spending, you know
five to ten bucks per book rather than
You know a lot of the prices of standard nfts and and where the fanfare has gotten
You know blockchain technology in that aspect. So it's kind of cool. We're we're seeing a lot of uh,
A lot of merging going on between those those audiences and building kind of a community in their own. Um
Like jared was mentioning earlier. There's a couple creators on this call that we didn't reach out to manually, you know
Um, so it's pretty neat. It's starting to pick up some traction and we're pretty excited about it
Yeah, and that's awesome, um, and i've got you know
I know you may have heard me saying earlier, but you guys have done such a fantastic job. It's such an easy to use platform
I'm, so glad that andy found it and brought it to us and uh, it's definitely a platform that people can get behind. Um

We're going to actually make 10 different versions of this book. And uh, andrew is making a bunch of different different things with it
But he's the main guy in charge of the design and he's been doing book publishing
So he knows what he's talking about and he's he's definitely taking the lead on this project
We've uh, we've got over 30 pages minted so far and
We still have a couple left. We are burning pages now
So we're kind of on a time crunch
But we are going to close off the book soon and push it out
And it's going to go in 23 countries around the world and with crypto magazine and the top 100 hotels
So we've got a we got a lot of you know expectation to see some some good traction from that and
Our pages are only 150 matic to get in
I would imagine with a platform like yours jerry you you know a lot of good projects that could see the value of
150 matic to get yourself like ten thousand dollars of marketing take yourself worldwide
Plus having 50 different, you know communities all working together to push one project one product
So I think that we would be great if we could collaborate with uh, you know more good projects that are over there using that platform

So each each page when you mint a page you basically get a double page spread in our book
So we would have a description and the story on one side and we have the artwork of your pfp
Or your whatever you want to submit your logo. We have different types of artwork that's being submitted
So basically it's a character or an element in the in the book and we we just work it into the story line
And we try to touch on the key points that you want to highlight about your project
work that into the character and
Each page or each two pages basically would just convey the next character and work them into the story
And in the end we uh, we have we have a little bit, you know, creative wiggle room
But also we could make you know cartoons in games after the fact
Utilizing all these characters and uh, you know their individual attributes
So this just gets me thinking so so
Hypothetically speaking i'm just going to start asking some questions
So I my company is like hey, I want to I want to buy a page and I want to put my company's logo in that page
What so for and then and then I give a little spiel about my company's mission
And then you guys like take that and like work it into the story frame
Yeah, yeah, we've got a we've got a lot of creative people here. Um, there's a couple writers
We can always reach out to you know, shout out to ben earl
But but we've we've got a lot of creative people in here
And yeah, we can basically I think we we're pretty good at working anything into the storyline
Uh, I think we can whether it's a logo a company a physical location a car a boat
We you know, there's some way we can make it incorporate it into the story. Yeah, that's awesome
Yeah, absolutely and let you know, let's take your platform. For example, you know, we could work that into
You know a collaborative part of the story as well where you know, it can be utilized as
Conceptualize it for anyone that's listening. Um, imagine, you know, lots of different nft projects with different characters
You know your character is playing a role in a story that we're telling so it's effectively like an it's been an actor
In in a different project. Um, so let's say, you know your platform crypto comics
You know whether someone in one of the sections of the story is reading a comic
And the comic comes to life or you know, someone gets sucked into one of these comics
It's obviously got your logo on the front so that people can see that it's a crypto comics comic
Or a platform that they get sucked into. Um, so there's lots of different creative ways in which we can you know
Utilize different brands that may not have a character that we can utilize in the story
But if it's more of a brand than a platform
Um, there's different ways we could probably work it into the story as well
And so it's yeah, it's really exciting and it's the point behind the project is to highlight web 3's
Power when it comes to collaboration and that we can showcase how we can work together
To uplift web 3 rather than fight each other for a top spot position type of situation, you know
Because you know, we all do different things our projects are all very different
And you know, we all share the same passion for web 3
So we want to be you know
We wanted to create a project that sort of conceptualized the the true nature of what web 3 really is

We launched us gen 2 with with a huge risk in the middle middle of the bear market
But uh, we did a great job and we minted out the collection. It was a which was a great step to our brand
So, uh taking all those steps
Uh, I was planning what we are going to do next
So the next big step is ascension comics. We are the meaning for our brand where the the story for our brand comes
So since we were talking about comics before so there are little gems that I want to drop
So for the past six months I was on web 2 with comics
I was uh here with friends talking with the true people who are making comics
one of the challenges that I found in web 2 or in comics is
People who are in web 2 to start with everyone who's here in web 3
To everyone who's here in this space are the one person people who are willing to change or who are willing to do something new
But the problem is that there's 99 percent of the people who are on the other side who are scared to do something new or to move
To the new space for example when I was with my comic friends
They they love to get the physical product of comics and when I was
Teaching them about the web 3 and all that they were not really willing to come into a digital site. They were they were really
uh fixated with the the physical product
And it was fascinating to me how these people
uh collect funds through kickstarter projects they spend ten thousand dollars collecting
uh if you guys don't know how kickstarter works it's like a project where you can collect funds and you give the
The product to the people who gave the funds
Same as web 3 it's the same thing in web 3 and web 3 is much better
There are more solution in web 3 like the collectible is there and all those
Yet, they are very interested in doing something on web 2 with kickstarter funding these projects
And they're not willing to take this step to web 3
So when it comes to comics the challenge I personally see is making this bridge between web 2 and web 3
Because that's like crypto comics. There are great platforms who are here who have created a platform
So people can come and enjoy in web through web 3
Yet, the problem I see is bridging that gap between web 2 and web 3
This year we are actually working ascensions brand is really working to solve this problem and
We just started few steps which i'm going to talk to you guys about
So, uh, you've got some teasers for us. I mean I saw yep, so
So we actually taking so not uh, I want to know all to all my holders from web 3
For holding our nfts you guys are the stock holders of our brand. So for our brand I want to bring in a
so this year what we are doing is we are actually making our first comic book and
To to get that bridge to fill that gap between web 2 and web 3 we are making this comic
With ar so this is one of the first comics as far as I know
That has integrated ar into the comic book
There are pages in the comic book
Where we call the establishing pages with with full full page art books
There will be ar where people can scan the page and they can
experience the animation of that page of that moment
And you guys have I mean, I believe you guys have already seen the apple vision pro how it's catching up
So these are the tools that people will use to come to web 3 so they will use these
To catch the gap between this web 2 and web 3 and I believe making a comic with ar integrating ar
So not only that ar when you scan it with ar
There will be nfts inside where you can grab those digital assets
So it's a way of bringing those web 2 people into web 3 not only that to test that
Here we created our first comic magazine. We just printed printed the first batch. So we are waiting it to be shipped
And we will be doing some giveaways with this comic first comic collectible magazine

So in our plan since this year we are basically planning to build a community in web 2 just like in web 3

Launch our first issue of a comic called yaksha. It's a traditional demon from shulanka
We are making a story behind this character
So the first issue we are planning to release this year and before that before three months that we are making a campaign a project campaign
Get funds and to collect a community from web 2 and I was actually thinking if I can actually
Uh merge when the comic book is ready if I can actually merge with crypto comics
We are in the crypto even in the kickstarter. We are
We are mentioning where we are giving I can I can even fund where we give a copy of a digital
The platform so not only they are coming to web 3
At at at at at at at at the same time they have they have a place to stay
They have a place to go and look for other comics for doing a great job
So with I just followed the jar and crypto comics, so we'll keep in touch

uh, quick quick question ascension quick question because um, we have a lot of experience with uh creators
And kickstarters and things like that. Um, you have to be really careful when using the the web two solutions for raising funds
I believe that kickstarter will shut your um campaign down over
mentioning crypto or web 3
I'm not 100 sure if indiegogo is the same just just really do your research
Uh, because we actually had a creator
Um who unfortunately that happened with he was he was he was uh, basically his first tier was a um,
crypto collectible digital collectible
Um through the backing and and they just they they shut him down. So be very careful of that especially on kickstarter
I'm not 100 sure if that goes with indiegogo or um backer kit
I believe those two are actually a little bit more open to the web 3 environment and and culture and
Community. So, um, just really do your your research. I just wanted to give you a heads up on that

Where your ascension will battle through the tournament. They'll come to finals and

That's all crypto. It's now an asset class people have to invest in it or they don't even have a balanced portfolio

We all know what's really with the value is and what I know that they're trying to figure out what kind of can't be done

this is a thing for us and an opportunity for us to build and live our passions, um

When things come more serious on the business side of things
But you know, I think it's good that we're in a position where we can't just be stomped out and you can't just say

I think too many people have come together and shown that they care about this industry too much to allow it to just be
Taken over or stops which i'm really happy about. Um, but as for um
You ascension seeing the value in us and what we've been doing for years, you know

We've tried to make it as low a barrier to entry as possible and help try and keep it going for as long as humanly possible
But we've also got to a point where the people have got in the book
We want to create this for the people that have been waiting for a really long period of time
So we're definitely excited to get this book put together for all those people and uh, yeah
We definitely want to see you in the book because we care about you and your projects

and I was telling myself is if this works out i'm going to take a huge step because we have to do great things and to
Go to great places to become to become above average. We have to do things above average
So this year we are making big steps on web2
And even in comics when you look at the market 60 of the market is still controlled by big companies like dc marvel
So when it comes to comics, there are there are opportunities that we can change that not only bring people into web3
So the the vision with ascensions has always been amazing. It's it's beyond
It sometimes scares me as well as a founder of ascension bread
But our vision has been always uh beyond and our community has been supporting us always so

Living his best life his dream job
who joins our spaces and has conversations with people that are you know new to their journey but super passionate and
It's it's amazing that we're able to do that and it's the same, you know
Thanks to the community and the people that were surrounded by that made that possible

You got to where you are now on a zero dollar budget
We got to where we're at right now on a zero dollar budget and it would just prove that it's not about
The money it's about the people and the togetherness and the passion that you know consistency will pay off, you know

I am not a musician myself. Um
I do have some musical talents
I try to strictly kind of leverage my talents to create distributive methods for musicians
I do foresee myself in the future using some of the various ai tools that we've been working with over the last few months to be
Begin creating various songs theme songs and such for different brands in the space
And working with musicians and you know in this space to help them utilize ai as well to help
Get them some positioning in front of people. They may be writing songs for
But other than that i'm pretty on the technical side and the creative side do a lot of art
If i'm not making art then i'm making technology
Yeah, he's uh, he's definitely being modest he's a dev he's he's developed a lot of stuff
And and he's got a lot of a lot of products for the community. So
We yeah, we're definitely partnering up. Uh, he's helping out with the wild world of dragons mint
And yeah, I appreciate everything that you're doing man. That's uh, it's really it's really cool
I'm super pumped on just the music side of it alone
But the fact that we can deploy you know a token or an nft through your platform very easily, you know
That's what's up. It's good to have people like that in the community

We've probably got about 50 to 100 videos in the pipeline to be scheduled and uploaded
um, and we did used to turn these spaces into
almost like podcast type content for giving opportunities for people to
Have a better chance of seeing the amazing projects that we uh interview
So we are going to be going back to doing that again as well
So um definitely going to be uploading those to the youtube as well
