It was great. Sorry about the one-hour delay everyone. In the Silicon Valley Bay Area, we had a local Korean startup ecosystem workshop. It was great. I thought it was going to be small event, but it was like 500 people offline.
a lot of people actually came over to us for CS, came all the way to various, a lot of interesting web-driven as well. Amazing. Well, no worries. As you can see, a lot of people were excited to hear this chat.

For those of you who are listening in, this is the first talk of 2023 for syndicated. As you may know, we do with influential leaders, investors and builders in Web 3. And this is, I believe the seventh that we've now done.
So, really excited to speak with you because there are a lot of very interesting trends that are happening beyond the United States and some of the other areas from where we
we've had speakers before, particularly in Asia and even more specifically within the Korea ecosystem over the last number of years, but particularly over the last number of months in 2022 and leading into this year. So I'm really excited. We've known each other
for I believe a few years now. Well more than that actually. I believe we met in 2018. Right. When you were first starting Hash's US office. I remember visiting beautiful ID office near the ocean.
That's right. Yeah, and I mean you were just starting hashed and maybe we could kind of jump into a little bit of your background before talking about some of the trends more recently in the ecosystem. Can you just talk about what you were doing before you got into crypto?
Yeah, of course. I was always confused and curious in the digital growing up. I was born and raised in Japan and moved to US and middle school and been always interested in tech and engineering. So study robotics at Carnegie Mellon where I found my passion to startups.

in the web 3 and it's been really exciting to see that venture community growth. So a lot of my work that I've been doing in career has been around building community in tech and in startups and now focusing in crypto. So I did my own startup in robotics and automation space right out of college.
I didn't go so I had to make a living, join Amazon doing robotics and IoT initiatives there. And while I was at Amazon, and this was, you know, 15, 16, you know, I just saw, you know, you know, unavoidable growth of this
