Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Hey everyone, I'm going to kick off in just one minute.
Hopefully we'll get some more folks rolling in.
Just if you guys can react with an emoji or something just let me know that
you guys can hear me okay awesome I saw that thank. Cool. So yeah, we'll kick off soon. Thank you. Okay, great.
Jam, jam, aunts and harbingers.
I see a few harbingers with us this morning.
I hope everybody has been having a good week so far.
I'm actually back in Ireland.
I flew back yesterday morning and I'll be travelling for the next week.
I'm actually on the road, driving through Spain to Portugal.
So really looking forward to that.
But I'll be around if anybody has any other questions.
And we should still have our community call next week. Last week we didn't have a community call
because I was at East Prague, Dave was there from Orange, we also had Jeff there as well so it was
a pretty good event, it was like over a week long. I also was at a hackathon to meet some developers
on Saturday and Sunday as well so it was really great but I'll do a bit more of a deep dive into that when we get to that.
So this week, again, we're going to be looking at like a quick kind of pulse check on the market.
And then we're going to have a look back at Eatbrag.
And then also there's been a really great update in terms of collaborations when it comes to Onto Wallet and Ton.
I hope a lot of you were able to join the AMA the other day where we did, it was hosted by Onto and we did like an intro to
the Ton ecosystem. So I'll touch on that later. And yeah, as I said, I'm always open to kind of
restructuring the community calls and giving little updates like on different topics. If
there's anything you guys would like to focus on, I'm always open to that. Okay, cool. So let's jump into the kind of
market trends or like see how the pulse, do a pulse check on the market. So with institutional
and policy pulse check, yeah, this is going to be interesting. So Ethereum apparently goes Wall
Street 2.0. So the US SEC quietly greenlit options trading on existing spot ETH ETFs, right? So
apparently they're trying to open the door to leverage
these hedging strategies that weren't possible a week ago. So then there's also some interesting
updates around tech and protocol upgrades so the Eigenlayer mainnet shipped on May 23rd
so this I guess ideally was put in place letting anybody restake sorry guys, restake ETH to secure third-party services and then the TVL rocketed past 4 billion
within days. Yeah and as I'm going through these updates if there's anything you think I should
focus on do let me know or you want me to fact check certain things, always happy to do that as well.
So then we also had Polygon, ZKEVM, rollout maintenance upgrade on May 23rd.
This is mostly infrastructure with devs.
It reports on cheaper proofs and faster finality.
Also, there was an interesting heads up that I found during some of my research.
So Layer0, ZRORO has a 24.7 million
token unlock coming June 20th. So I think this is all around liquidity and price action. And then
there was some interesting findings around security. So this will be like a section that
I'll probably have in most calls like a security snapshot. So I looked at Peck Shield logged at
244 million in exploits across 20 incidents in May.
So this is down 39% from April, which is obviously great.
So this kind of, I guess the whole point of this is to highlight that there was fewer mega hacks.
The mega hacks just sound so stressful.
So fewer mega hacks, but social engineering and wallet phishing are climbing.
So obviously that's never good to hear.
And then interestingly enough, we saw some different data when it comes to consumer on ramps.
So hardware wallet giant Ledger is launching its CryptoLife Visa debit card in the US apparently on June 30th.
So for 1% BTC or USDC cashback and direct paycheck deposits.
So yeah, just to highlight, this isn't like anything promotional from our side.
This is just like, I guess, just to do a check on the entire ecosystem.
And as I said, like market trends and just to do a pulse check.
So these are things that are just trending.
I think it's always good to see how everybody else is doing in the space as well.
And then finally, some regulation watch within the EU and UK.
Again, this is always interesting.
So as I found, yeah, Europe is definitely quite active.
of talk around this new web 3 compliance tracker so this is highlighting
stricter KYC for any DeFi front ends and like any marketing rules for NFT
drops so I'll find the article that I referenced here because I think this is
going to be really interesting for builders to stay up to date on.
But again, yeah, if there's any area there that I focused on, so I just kind of do a touch on policies,
which I know it's not my most favorite thing to check on, but I think it's always important.
Protocol upgrades, security snapshots, anything around consumers or users, and then some regulatory watch.
But if there's anything else you think I should be looking at,
I'm always happy to do that.
So on to the Onto and Ton collaboration.
So I'll give you guys just an insight into Ton.
There was a really great article published actually the other day by Onto.
I'm going to put that on the Ontology blog.
I'm going to summarize it, link it back to the original onto um piece and
then we'll probably tweet that out as well so you guys will make sure that you guys have access to
that so telegram yes this is quite interesting so ton has some mini apps or mini games so because
of that i guess they have become kind of this really exclusive chain they have uh I think, 950 million MAU. And then they also have this Omistan swap, which is inside Onto.
So this is zero fees and no browser hops.
And then they also have, so TAN stakers, there's this one tap staking with live APR tracking.
Then there's upcoming DeFi panel.
So this includes your stable coins and bridges.
This is all for flexible yield routes.
In-app TAN DNS registration, this means human readable wallets.
And then the ONTO DID ties, TAN domain and Telegram handle and on-chain actions.
This is all kind of forming this portable reputation layer too.
Then we've got, as I mentioned,
these Telegram mini games. They'll all run natively in Onto. So there's no extra installs.
And then recurring trading competitions. There's one live at the minute, I believe. So make sure
everybody here, I'm assuming everybody's following Onto. You really should be. So make sure that
you're checking out the campaign that's running with Tawn.
So there's going to be lotteries, there's these quest boards just to keep users
kind of coming back and just making it easy for everybody to be getting those rewards.
Then there's this asset helix, so you can acquire, use, stake, retain value.
record, then earn reputation and it's earn tailored rewards then too. So this is all around kind of
Identity helix, so this means that you act, then record, then earn reputation, and earn tailored rewards then too.
like sparking, engagement and then to ensure, so there's this really interesting connection
that identity cements loyalty. So then Bybit Web3 Wallet integrated TAN stakers, so this exposes
any users to 100 or this exposes TAN to 130 million users, to native Tawn staking.
So this is also quite interesting.
And then this whole TapSwap and other TapToEarn mini apps have onboarded millions of Telegram users to Tawn as well.
One of the biggest highlights there is that this NFT marketplace at MRKT,
I'm always pronouncing these things wrong, so don't come at me for it,
but went live inside Telegram last week.
And then the OnTo mini game beta launches in July.
So I'm really looking forward to that.
The summer, I think, is going to be quite busy for the team.
So this will be quite cool.
So the sign-up form is live.
So make sure you get access to that.
And then Circle IPO pricing window expected late June.
So, yeah, let's just watch out this USDC flows.
And then the first ETFTH and ETF options,
open interest data drops mid June.
So there's a lot kicking off in June,
I'll just make sure that all of this is summarized
and it's something that Ontology can share as well.
Because this article is a little bit long
and there's I think dates and links as well.
So we'll make sure that everybody has access to that but this is going to be in a dashboard
discord dashboard and then also there's a bunch of different community quests so
you can like swap stake claim to onDNS if you want to post a screenshot and then
you're going to get a raffle for Allegers DL cards
So just to summarize that quite quickly, some key dates, we're going to be looking at this
Onto mini game beta launching in July.
The forum is live today, so make sure that forum is tweeted out because it's embedded
Then also kind of watch this space for mid-June and late June for a lot of other announcements to come as well.
So I have a couple of questions for everybody on the call now
or for anybody that's going to tune in later.
And I mean, if you drop your answers in response to the announcement tweet,
but how might identity as asset kind of extend beyond governance?
Also, any builders there?
Like, what APIs or SDKs do you need from Onto next? Is there
anything that's missing? Yeah, I think they're really interesting questions. Would love your
feedback on that as well. Okay, so next is our eighth anniversary or our birthday. So I think
this should be coming at the end of June. So definitely watch this space. As I've said,
there's going to be a big update from the team. We're going to be putting together a campaign to make sure that everybody
can get involved. We're kind of learning from all the data that we collected from last year's
anniversary. So I think we'll probably won't be putting quests out on every single platform,
but I think we'll narrow the focus onto a certain platform or certain couple of platforms, but then
we'll ensure that the rewards are higher.
So I think even more incentive to join and then I'll be hosting a couple of calls around the campaign. I'll probably have Jeff and Dave on to chat about how Orange is going to be involved and
then how we're going to be kind of having additional community campaigns as well. So
hopefully I shall be able to announce more about this in the next couple of weeks. But yeah really
And as I said, if there's something you guys would like to see within this campaign,
even if it's just from our Harbingers or it's from other Entenauts within the community,
feel free to drop me a message or leave anything in Telegram and you can tag Jeff, Bella or myself there as well. So we've been really closely tracking our data.
So, you know, I kind of focus a little bit on SEO for ontology.
And a lot of the content that seems to be really popular, I mean, this has been consistent now for about a year, is content or articles on the blog that are related to kind of ontology EVM
or how to stake within ontology.
So these articles keep popping up that have the most visits, essentially.
So Jeff put together this ontology guide.
So it's like a complete guide in 2025.
So this means that everything is completely updated.
So if you're ever confused about kind of crossing the chain bridge or exactly how this works, everything is in here.
So we kind of go through exactly what you need to do, like your points of navigation, how to connect your wallet, whether or not you need to.
to and then also it's a really easy guide just in case you're kind of ever confused about how to
swap. So this is available on our blog it's under the EVM section but I'm going to make sure that
this is tweeted out again so you guys have really easy access to this but again as I said like this
content has been really popular I think over the last eight months like based on the
amount of views and users and clicks anything around ontology EVM and
staking this has become really popular so also at the very bottom of this
article it's the log entry three so it goes through exactly how to check in
with your onto wallet and how to choose you know your Onto wallet and how to choose your Ontology EVM, stocking
supplies, receiving payloads.
So this is kind of the language that we're using now, which is a lot more fun and I think
connects a lot more to our branding as well.
And then I ask everybody to kind of go down towards the end to log entry four, which is
the quick comms about the Wonderverse.
So this just kind of highlights everything and kind of summarizes everything
that you need to know within the doc.
So it's like a virtual machine is simply on-chain computers.
So AVM is essentially the people's favorite.
So bridged OEP for tokens, ontology still flies one chain.
So no shards, no forks, ONT counts nine decimals.
And then staking unchanged obviously,
so whole number ONT only. So I think this article is really nice. counts nine decimals so ONG counts 18 and then staking unchanged obviously so
whole number ONT only. So I think this article is really nice I think it makes
it a lot easier for folks that might be new to the space or new to ontology I
think it's gonna really simplify everything but again as I said I always
hope always open to feedback so there's anything you think that might be missing
from this guide I'm always open open to hearing your input on that.
Okay and then ETH Prague, as I mentioned it was a really interesting event. It went on for over a week and I was there, Geoff were head of community was there and Dave who pretty much runs a show at
Orange was there as well. I went, myself and Dave were at all the side events.
Jeff was at the main event,
and I tried to attend as many of the hackathons as possible.
I live in Prague, so I was connected with a lot of the community there.
I had a lot of former colleagues and friends that were at these hackathons,
so it was interesting to get some feedback from folks
around maybe ONTID or DID in general and ontology.
So I'll give you guys a quick recap and then I should be publishing this recap as well on the blog.
So you can kind of always have this to reference.
But there's, yeah, so kind of from the Orange Protocol focus.
So throughout EatPragra 2025, there was a bunch of different like side events that we were at.
But I found that there was quite a strong interest when it came to decentralized identity,
verifiable credentials, and all these on-chain reputations.
So all of this was really relevant to Orange as well.
One of the events that I attended was this verifiable brunch with VLayer.
This was a lot of fun, and it was a really nice way, I think, to kind of open a lot of the sessions.
So this session itself was focused on the role of like verifiable credentials obviously in Web3 which I think is
very obvious. So there was a strong emphasis on interoperability and user-owned identity. So
there was a bunch of different conversations all really circling back to this importance of
frameworks that can kind of operate across dApps and ecosystems right. So it was really kind of
highlighting all this like clear need
for portable reputation, which is something we talk about a lot.
And then, yeah, I think this was, you know,
strongly connected to infrastructure like what Orange provides.
So we didn't kind of specifically, you know,
a lot of folks didn't specifically mention Orange,
but I think that it definitely aligned a lot
with like Orange's modular approach.
So it's definitely something for us to circle back on.
And I met a lot of folks that were interested in Orange as well.
I also attended the Web3 Privacy Now meetup.
Again, a lot of friendly folks there and a lot of conversations around zero-knowledge proofs,
also on data minimization in all of these identity systems.
So I heard a lot of folks speaking about DID frameworks.
So this was discussed a lot as this kind of foundation for user-controlled identity.
One of the key insights here was like, well, privacy is widely acknowledged as essential.
A lot of projects are still searching for this easy to integrate tools.
And I know Jeff had kind of seen this as well at the main event. But again, I think this is
something Orange could directly address. So again, it was really interesting to see
the opportunities that are arising that even folks that might not know of Orange,
they kind of have issues that Orange could potentially solve.
This Bohemia Roots, how to DAO, this was very cool.
This Bohemia Roots, how to DAO. This was very cool. So I've always been interested in DAOs.
So I've always been interested in DAOs.
I mean, I kind of first started off in the space working with the DAO.
So this DAO-focused workshop really explored this whole governance framework.
And there was a lot of talk around technical tools all around,
like how do you manage memberships and voting, obviously.
So I think this connected quite strongly with reputation systems and identity
verification I think this was just a recurring theme that I was seeing a lot so a lot of themes
or a lot of teams were expressing the need for more transparent and modular reputation layers so
a lot of this feedback actually came from Dave as well who attended a bunch of these events so
the use of DIDs in DAO governance was positioned, I think, as both a challenge and also an opportunity.
So this was quite cool to see that there was a potential for Orange's tools to kind of contribute to all of this scoring and trust signaling that could, you know, add immediate value.
And then there was this ETH Global hackathon.
So this wasn't obviously identity specific, but this was a hackathon that, I mean, I couldn't necessarily specifically attend this, but I met with a lot of folks that were there.
And they were talking about all of these, like several, a bunch of different tracks, tracks like related to reputation, ZK.
This is, I mean, a really big topic as well.
So a lot of the developers that I spoke to were talking about like integrating identity into broader apps. So games, which is something we're working on and some of these
coordination tools, right? So they believe that a lot of them are just lacking such simple building
blocks. Again, I see a really strong connection in the potential here for Orange's modular scoring
and portable credentials to kind of help bridge that gap. I think there's a lot of work to be done, but there's a lot of opportunities here as well.
So like teams are definitely actively seeking and talking about decentralized interoperable
Privacy is non-negotiable, obviously.
But I think it became kind of a common theme that it's difficult to implement without pre-built
solutions and exactly how do we do that. Also reputation is a key system or is a key piece missing I think in
DAO tooling. So a lot of these trends kind of closely aligned with everything that Orange is
like positioning itself to be and there's a huge amount of opportunity there as well. A bunch of
the events that I've just mentioned had also a focus specifically on
Ont ID, so that verifiable lunch or brunch that I mentioned, I mean as I said like there wasn't a
direct mention for Ontology or Orange or Ont ID but a lot of these themes were closely aligning to
the objectives, a lot of our objectives and a lot of the solutions that we provide.
So there was discussion, again, at this brunch around like verifiable credentials
and some notable insights around ONTID or DID in general, or in general, as I said,
were like interoperable identity frameworks to enhance user privacy and control
in decentralized applications.
That Web3 privacy meetup as well, I found that it was really
interesting to talk to a lot of folks where they found that the necessity of integrating
privacy features into identity solutions to protect user data in decentralized networks as well.
Yeah, I think overall, I really enjoyed this event. I kind of like some smaller crowds,
especially when it's quite developer focused, But there was a really growing emphasis on decentralized identity.
I wonder how many times I've said that on this call.
Actually, I should start counting that.
But within blockchain ecosystem, so all these discussions and workshops really highlighted a critical role for DIDs in enhancing, again, privacy, security and user autonomy.
privacy security and user autonomy. So what I'm going to do is I will share this
summary and then I've also used all of our findings to put together a little
bit of an SEO kind of content table so that we're taking all the findings from
this event and we will be producing some articles around this as well. So yeah I
think it could be really interesting content.
Okay cool so it's the first week in June so I will go through our May blog. I hope everybody's been reading these. The guys put a lot of effort into
and putting the reports in more of a newsletter format.
So everything we've been working on is really linked in here.
So it's a much nicer structure.
So there's been a lot of moves in decentralized identity
and Web3 reputation, as obviously I've been talking about quite a lot.
But Microsoft made headlines with its new decentralized identity initiative.
So they're teaming up with DIF and Web3C Credentials Community Group.
So this is going to be interesting.
So this is with ZKTLS and Identity Tools all in the spotlight.
I hope you guys have read the article from Orange about ZKTLS.
So it's clearer than ever, reputation and privacy are becoming core features,
So do make sure you're checking this out.
We got up to a lot in May,
actually. So we launched the Wide World campaign, which I just think is so much fun. So that's
inside the Web3 Wonderverse. We're going to be putting a special campaign together using Wide
Worlds for the anniversary. So I think this is just exposing a lot of Ontology's branding to
the wider community and just making it a little bit more interesting.
We also rolled out the Ontonaut starter package to onboard users.
So this means that we're actually supporting anybody who wants to stake.
You're also going to be entered into a draw to win rewards.
And also our Harbingers are there to support you guys,
whether it's in the English Telegram channel or also in Discord.
So I would make sure that you guys are checking that out and if anybody could share this with the wider community.
I mean, you're just getting rewarded for using the product,
so it makes a lot of sense.
And also we put a lot of effort into this Web3 gaming panel,
so I had some connections in the space
and connected them with Humpty
and also Jeff had some connections as well.
So we put together this gaming series that Humpty is hosting,
I think, every second week.
So it's Code, Cloud and Crypto series. It's just for us to understand what gaming projects are up to
and exactly how DID can make sense in there. Also jumped into the Postcoin-based hack conversation.
This is all around ZKTLS as well. Again, this is in collaboration with Orange Protocol.
And then we launched the Meet Ont ID campaign with Xstar.
Again, this is just rewarding folks for sharing their DID journeys.
So make sure you're checking out Xstar.
It's a really interesting platform.
And if you're not already, do follow Ont ID on X.
And then we hosted a community call.
Yeah, I hosted the folks from Xstar.
It was really interesting to get kind of just further insights into exactly how they're structuring their platform and really like how it makes a lot of sense.
Also, there's a bunch of different highlights from Onto Wallet and some really interesting
Orange campaigns. So we pushed a new round of the Orange Humanity Score campaign. So with 1200 ONG
up for grabs every single month, make sure you're in there. I mean, it just makes sense.
And as I said like zktls initiative
was launched um by orange and promoted with by ontology so we're kind of highlighting this
whole security meets identity so i'd recommend everybody to check that out as well um some of
our ecosystem stats staking is looking super healthy um every click claim and connection
obviously brings everybody closer to this whole self-solving identity.
So yeah, May was, or April was, May, sorry, I'm forgetting which month it was.
April was, May was pretty busy.
But hopefully June and July are going to be even busier with the campaign that we're going to be launching for the upcoming anniversary.
Also, just gave an overview of ETH Prague Prague I'll be publishing this on Monday also make sure
that you're you check out the new ontology EVM complete guide for 2025 I'll make sure this is
published again and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be able to give you guys some
insights on what's happening with our birthday and check out the on to on ton collaboration
make sure you're following both on X and then I'll be sharing a summary of the collaboration as well.
And then, yeah, just sit a quick pulse check on the market,
And if there's anything else you think I should be looking at,
But as I said, I'm on the road next week,
but I should be around for the community call next week.
Hopefully, we'll be inviting somebody else to join.
I always think that's quite fun.
I appreciate everybody's time today. Any insights, any updates you want to give me,
would love to see it like in the comments or below the announcement and always open to your
feedback and appreciate everybody's time today. So happy Friday again and enjoy the weekend.
