Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. you
yo everyone gm gm gm guys jim um let's do also it's with this place so we can reach more people. GM everyone.
This place will be starting proper in a short while.
But while we are at that, let us retweet this place.
You will see the post I made speaking with Anthology Network soon.
Just do also retweet and tag your friends.
Let us get the numbers up,
then we can start properly.
So GM everyone, GM host, GM creative.
English from Kimmy, GM Abdul, GM Delon.
So GM the same word GM Yusuf.
Let us retweet the space so we can reach more people tag your
followers tag at least three people to the space um the jambotron this retreats that particular
post that is on the jambotron so we can reach more people let's do that within let's do that within
two three minutes let's do that tag as much people as you can so we can get no power when they speak
you guys we are not retweeting yet let us retweets let us retweet the space and tag
check the jumbotron you will see um the poster the jumbotron you will see the poster, you should retweet it and tag as much as possible.
Let me accept Edie's mic.
Let me accept Edie's mic.
I can't accept it from here. I don't know why. Are you there?
Good morning, everyone. You can just say
so that you don't bite your tongue.
we are still having more people joining us.
Yeah, I said everyone should retreat this space.
Everyone retreat this space.
And I think more people are still doing.
I can see the number is adding up.
So tag as much people as you can.
Tag as much people as you can. Let us tag as much people as you can so we can get numbers in.
And we start in about five minutes time.
Yeah, let me go and gather my energy.
My energy is not high yet.
Let me go and gather my energy.
But while I do that, let us tag as much people.
Tag your friends, tag your enemies.
Let's talk about ontology network
okay i'm tagging over here too so let's keep doing that i see ad is tagging it means a star again
so let us tag as much as possible let's get number we start the space properly by 10 minutes past 11.
so let's get more people in let's spread the word ontology network Thank you. Thank you. okay we are getting close my energy is rising my energy is rising yeah let me put my phone on dnd
oh dang man Put my phone on D&D. Oh, dang, man. you Yo, okay. So once again, everyone, GM everyone, GM everyone.
Welcome to another space.
Welcome to another space.
Made specially for you, for me, for Ontology Network generally.
So apparently, today's space won't be too long.
You know, we just want to talk about one or two things.
You know, what's next for Ontology Network?
Just like the space title itself says,
what next for Ontology Network?
So I know some of us are hearing about Ontology newly, while some are the OGs in the game.
But regardless, we'll talk about the very genesis of Ontology and the Ontology Network Africa.
I mean, we'll talk about the very genesis of it, what it stands for, the purpose.
And of course, we'll be taking questions, ideas from everyone, of course,
because you know, ontology is for the people, by the people.
How did they define government then?
So ontology is for the people and by the people.
So we'll be hearing from everyone.
will be hearing from everyone.
They say two is a better than one.
Let's say two heads are better than one.
Same is same as three is a better than two,
four is better than three.
So yeah, this is Godly, the voice of Web3.
Welcome, welcome, welcome.
So GM, once again, GM host, GM Zainab.
You said I should not remove my teeth.
GM, Emis, GM, AD, Web3, GM, Abdul, GM, Dylan, GM, Bong, Bong, GM, have you said i should not remove my teeth the mms gm ad web 3 jim abdul jim dylan jim bunk
bunk jim the same web city so yeah um shout out to you guys for visiting the space hopefully we
get the numbers up while the game is on and yeah you can keep on tagging people after all the space
has been recorded so even if they don't meet up with the live space they get to meet the recording that they have been tagged through yeah so um that is that about that
before we proceed properly i would like to hear a little hello from the host host say hello to us
no ghost on us yeah Jim Jim everybody um yeah welcome to this space I'm so happy that um we were able to make
it and yeah I decided not to say anything I decided you guys should um do what you you you do
um do what you are you are going to do do what you think you try to, I will be in the shadow
if there's any questions that need my help in answering or an insight that people need to hear.
I will unmute my mic and tell you guys, but yeah, you are welcome to play space.
I can tell you guys but yeah you are welcome to JSpace and then this is what next for Ontology
Network Nigeria and this is for the Nigerian community but everybody is welcome to chip in
contribute in any way they can and as a community you know we we have to put our minds together and
put our minds together and yeah, decide what's best for us moving forward.
So I would say everybody's welcome to chip in.
Your ideas are well welcomed and please don't be shy.
Ask any questions that you want more explanation or more clearance.
And if you have anything that will improve or keep the
community going forward in a more fun and engaging manner please don't be afraid to reach out
uh yeah this space is this open for everybody to to ask questions and contribute so thank
you guys and i'm looking forward to having a wonderful time thank you
thank you thank you thank you thank you host i said if you see hello you don't collect my mic you don't take over no no no i'm gonna be the champion of my thing so um with that being said
thank you thank you thank you so mizena do you want to talk to us before we go into the champion of my thing so um with that being said thank you thank you thank you
so ms zainab do you want to talk to us before we go into the business of the day properly
do you want to say hi to us yes um gmgm everyone so once again my name is zainab and i think most
people are hearing my voice for for mostly i think the first time and I'm so excited to be in
this space of blockchain and ontology as a whole and I just look forward to the
exciting things that are going to be unveiling especially in Nigeria in
Africa how ontology will be skyrocketing everywhere and also be making some
changes and some impact in our lives.
And yeah, I look forward to this discussion.
I was very much active last week
and I have enjoyed almost all the spaces I attended.
What stood out for me was actually the incorporation
of blockchain, sorry, artificial intelligence
So I look so much forward to that and I
just cannot wait to see how it's going to unveil.
for a minute or there about.
Okay, it's good but then it's
good godly is bad the voice of what is back so yeah I didn't get to hear the
opening speech from creative and those yes do worry I will remove my tea today
I didn't get to hear the opening from you ball it's all good I'm sure everybody
heard that so in case you're wondering,
that is one of the moderators in our TG group
and, of course, in the Ontology Network Africa generally.
So for those just hearing about Ontology Network Africa
or Ontology Network as a whole globally,
you're welcome to the family globally you're welcome to the
family you're welcome to the movement and the interesting part about it is
that you are still early in fact you are very early because ontology just gave
Africa a good thought just give Africa a good a good thought and said yes it is time to to reach out to a continent particularly
and they thought about africa and yeah lucky we lucky them we are about to mutually benefit from
one another we're about to benefit from ontology network and ontology network is about to benefit
from us also because like i do say you don, you don't come into Web3 without value.
So the more Web3 gives you, the more value you should be giving to Web3.
And yeah, that is what we're about to do with Anthology Network.
So in case you are wondering what Anthology Network is, for those that are just hearing about it for the first time,
what is Anthology Network?
And what do they stand for?
What do we stand to gain?
These are the questions we want to talk about.
These are the things we expect people,
and especially people just hearing about us for the first time.
These are the things we're expecting everyone to ask us.
So apparently in my own term, in my my own personality my co-ontology network
i call them problem solver and um life is they make life easy for us in the sense that
let's picture let's picture a world whereby you you want travel, you want to travel out of Nigeria and your identification is not your problem.
The I don't think a lot of us actually understand this, this what's our methodology network is starting at this stage, because
over here, especially in Nigeria,
in Nigeria, um, until, uh, identification has been like a major problem for us.
And that's what a lot of us call KYC, knowing your customer.
So KYC, like it's, it has been like a major problem for us, but a lot of
us haven't even realized it in, you imagine a situation whereby you travel
out of the country and, um, you need to verify your identity at a
particular place probably you are in school probably your schooling outside africa or you
are at an event or you are a tourist wherever you are outside africa or outside nigeria outside of
your comfort zone your jurisdiction and you need to identify yourself properly.
Imagine you have a platform where you can just direct them to your login
and they verify everything you stand for there.
Imagine how seamless that is, not having to hold your ID card everywhere you go to.
Imagine you are a freelancer, a company wants to work with you,
and they can just head on to ontology
network, check out your profile and confirm who you are and what you stand for.
Do you know how seamless that is?
Do you know how seamless it will be when an hospital like the healthcare facility, healthcare
departments can just log into ontology network and they can bring out your health, your health records. Do you know, imagine a picture, how seamless that
can be? That is what ontology network is actually here to solve the ID. And the beautiful thing
about it is that it doesn't just stop there. Now you thought about it. Okay. This is for
the end users. What about builders?rica generally we and we we are tagged
so quote unquote uh i started to be corrected we are being tagged as consumers um other people
around the world around the globe they believe africans are just consumers they don't like to
build they don't like to produce just like like to consume. But now we are changing the narratives because we know there are raw talents here in Africa.
They are on top to raw materials in Africa.
They just need the platform.
They just need the tools.
And that is what ontology is here to solve.
Giving privilege, giving chance to builders that are just coming up,
giving chance to builders who are still looking for the best platform to build on, the best blockchain to build on, you know.
So these are part of the things Ontology is here to solve.
And where else will this start the major, the groundbreaking movement, if not the African giant, Nigeria?
the African giants, Nigeria.
So we are lucky and ontology as themselves are lucky because yeah,
They're giving us what we need and we'll be giving them what they need.
we are helping ourselves achieve a goal.
So for those that are just joining us or hearing about Ontology for the first time,
you're welcome to the family.
This is Ontology Network and it's being brought to you by Ontology Network Africa.
So I don't want to start sounding like a broken record.
I don't want to start talking and talking and talking and talking.
So I want to believe we have questions before I start talking and talking and talking and talking so um i want to believe we have questions
before i start talking about different points our different problems our different ways our
ontology network will be tackling issues in nigeria and africa at large but before i start doing
that one by one i want to believe probably we have questions or any of the speakers have something to just say before we continue with the topic of the day properly.
So do any of my speakers have anything to say?
Emis, Adi, do any of you have anything to say or we continue with the topic of the day?
Adi is rocking. working okay he has requested i don't know why i can't approve from yeah please um jenna please help me with that um emmys do you have anything to say to us
before we continue not at the moment let's let's continue with what you're talking about.
Okay. Adi, do you have anything to tell us?
No, no. We're going for this.
Okay. Okay. So, Ms. Zainab, do you have anything to say to us before I continue?
Okay. No one wants to talk to me.
They want to leave the voice of Web3 to say everything.
No Allah. We got our day.
So let's dive into a little bit of details about what Ontology Network is.
You know, let's talk about the core mission first. So, um, like I said before,
you know, um, Ontology, the, the, the, the, the basically, or let me say, we don't let
me use the word day, cause we are doing this together. We are in this together. We are
building a decentralized identity, which is what we call aunt ID, aunt ID and data solutions that gives people control
over their digital lives. You understand? And this is very relevant for Africa because
believe me, you either would like it or not. Trust and transparency are part of the biggest
issues we face here in Africa. For example, I'm sure some of us here are jobbers in the
web theory space and you might have encountered or might have seen around, might have seen
the tweets or heard from people's experience where trust has been an issue when you want
to work with people outside your continent, but trust has been an issue.
And these are the reasons the trust and transparency lacks between
Africans and people in diaspora.
So ontology is here to bridge that gap.
Again, ontology is here to bridge that gap.
And one of the things ontology is also offering is a real world use case in the sense that, you know, they give us a secure digital ID for financial inclusion.
And one of the things ontology is also
Imagine, okay, for example, you want to open a bank account.
You want to open a bank account here in Nigeria, they ask you for requirements, of course, your national ID card,
do you probably have to be or something?
They ask you different things for for for you to open an account
or for you to rectify issues with your account.
So now imagine you are outside, you are outside the country outside the continent or you don't even
need to step out of the continent you might you can be in Africa being in
Nigeria and you you are you're working remotely and working with global firms
or doing things globally and I'm unique verification you need verification I'm sure one or two times some
of us would have experienced situations whereby you snap your ID card you try to verify it
with a foreign or a global what's it called a global entity and you keep on and you keep
on encountering different you keep on encountering
different error different error when it comes to verifying your identity you post your id you post
your passport you post everything same it keeps on lagging keep on lagging so now ontology ontology
is actually giving us a platform whereby those things become seamless you understand your your ideas there and the the best thing about
it is that it is 100 being controlled by you because of course why is it called a decentralized
system if you can't control it by yourself why leave your id with decentralized and you can't
even control it by yourself in a decentralized world so that is that that is one of the things ontology is offering us.
And believe me, they are solving problems.
And it is the best time to leverage it because it is still early.
Yeah, Ontology Global might have been around for a while.
But Ontology Network Africa, this is it.
This is the first of its kind.
It's stepping into Africa for the first time,
and it is the best time to leverage it, the best time to leverage it.
Because I mentioned about real-world use cases.
You think about what's it called, healthcare record management.
So, okay, I've been citing the example you're working in in an outside firm in a global firm you need to check your you need to check your health record they can just approach
you you can just check out your ontology profile and they see all these things there seamlessly
you know academic credential verification,
you want to work outside in the outside world,
you want to work in China,
work in anywhere in the world.
They just check it and they see your credentials there,
So the connection or the partnership between Ontology Network and Africa is a very solid one.
And it is a it is a very much needed one that we didn't even realize that we needed.
It gets sometimes you don't realize you need something until you start experiencing it.
And you ask yourself, where have I been without this?
Where have I been? Where exactly have I been without this? Where have I been?
Where exactly have I been?
So, and the partnership is a highly rated one.
Because Africa is a large unbanked population.
Africa has a very large on banked population.
You understand is we are we are front we are building ourselves when it comes to the crypto
world the web three world we are leading the charge. Nigeria and Africa as a as a as a whole
we are leading the charge we're leading the charge and the it is the best time for
us to tap into this and wine you know the difference between let's have only to speak
english you know the difference between when something is freshly tapped africa is still
freshly tapped and it is the best time for us to tap into a movement that is coming into Africa because
believe me you when ontology becomes widely known and we myself and you we are the ones
that would do that job once it becomes widely accepted in Africa then you will realize how lucky you are that you are inside this
movement this early. Because in a year, in two years time,
ontology will have become a widespread fire in Africa, whereby it will have become a norm.
Then imagine something that is becoming a norm in two, three years time.
You get me in Web three now, Web three as a whole, I think about just ten point
something percent of the world population currently is in Web three.
And that means almost 90 percent of the world
hasn't actually started exploring Web three, which means you're early.
So now you are in Web3 already.
And in years time, a large percentage of people of the world population will start learning and start exploring Web3.
That means you. Thank you. yeah hello can you guys hear can you guys say godly no i can't i was thinking yeah okay
yeah it's an attack issue is it up tell us what's happening to godly
Zidab, tell us what's happening to Godly.
This is trying to connect back.
I can see him connecting.
And he just sent a request.
Let me quickly grant that.
Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
I think I robbed, yeah? My network. Yes. yo godly is back sorry sorry sorry sorry i think i rocked i rocked yeah my network
my network was crazy my network was crazy my network is crazy so uh where did you guys
lost me i don't know i was just speaking i just noticed i. Where did you guys last name?
I think the last thing I heard,
you were speaking about identity.
Did you guys hear when I was talking about Africa,
Africa partnership with ontology and all? Did you guys hear when i was talking about africa uh africa partnership with ontology and all did you guys hear me when i said that no no jesus christ jesus christ
hey you didn't exhaust all your energy on that i don't talk yeah but it's all good it's all good
it's all good i'm the voice of web theory's all good. I'm the voice of Web Theory, actually.
So I can always rephrase, re-talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk.
So, yeah, like I was saying, I was saying, I mentioned Alt ID.
I mentioned, I was talking about real-world use cases whereby, you know,
I was talking about how it can help in healthcare record management.
I was talking about those things.
I mentioned something about why ontology partnership with Africa at this moment is very unique at this point in time it's very unique one because it is solving real
world problem and secondly you and i are lucky enough that we are early i didn't know if you
guys got that when i said it but i mentioned something about i said at this moment let's take
web city generally as a case study just about 10 little above 10% of the world is currently in Web3 or currently knows about Web3.
So imagine how early you are that you are in Web3 right now.
And over almost 90, sorry, almost 90% of the world hasn't started exploring Web3 at all.
Imagine how early you are.
Imagine how many advantage and benefit of Web3 you would have gotten by the time the rest of the world start exploring Web3.
That is what Ontology Network Africa right now is.
So Ontology Network Africa is stepping into Africa right now for the first time.
And we are very early because in two years time, in a year, in two years time,
it should have become widespread to the extent that would have become a norm.
It would have become a norm.
So imagine you this early, the advantages you would have got it from ontology,
the edge, the flex you would have, then we have been there, done that.
We started this together and all.
So this is we basically just preaching what ontology network is here to solve.
And for example, let me start an example for you.
You are in a town or in a village or in a village and a palm wine tapper
is stepping into the bush to go and tap and wine you are at the beginning of the you are you are
the uh what's it called the the the entrance of the bush and you you're just doing your thing there
the palm wine tapper finished tapping is going back to the city to go and sell his palm wine
and you're the first person buying from him imagine the type of freshly tapped
wine you'll be buying at that moment that is basically our ontology network africa is at
the moment yeah the whole world has been enjoying the ontology network um ontology network globally
but now it is coming into africa and you and i are one of the first beneficiaries
of of the movement so why not
leverage you to the fullest are you a builder why not come build an ontology why not tell your friend
who is a builder why not share the opportunity with a friend share with family share with your
enemies like i said if your enemies are making money and enjoying the benefit of life they will
not even have time to to battle you so why not share with your friends, share with family, share with enemies.
Let us have benefits from Anthology Network Africa.
Let us all enjoy what Anthology is bringing to us here in Africa, you know,
bring giving us low cost identity solution, low cost data solution.
You understand, Anthology is making a very huge difference.
Let's talk about the community growth, the community growth.
we ontology is solely emphasizing on grassroots building,
you know, grassroots adoption.
That is why we keep on amoring it that we understand the fact that a lot of
a lot of ontology, a lot of builders in Nigeria right now are students or
former students, you understand. So.
So this is actually a platform or an opportunity you can leverage.
This is this is actually a
Either you're still in school at the moment, you just finished school,
or you're just seeking admission.
It is actually, this is the best time for you to heap in.
This is the best time for you to, don't let me use the word heaping,
this is the best time for you to join the movement in the sense that let's assume you are a computer science student and you have colleagues who don't who are builders
or you are a computer engineering student you have colleagues who are builders and you want you you
think you can actually share the good news with them why not
why not share the goodness with them why not create a cabal why not create a cabal of yours
in your school bring one or two people who are builders like you together talk about educate them
on what ontology because believe me when i tell you a lot of people are in Web3 space and they don't even know the genesis of what Web3 is, the genesis of what blockchain is.
So why not be the educator? Why not be like Dudley? Be a Web3 educator.
Make Web3 simple for an average person.
And the beautiful thing about Ontology Network is it is not only for people in Web3.
The beautiful thing about Ontology Network is it is not only for people in Web3.
It is meant for everyone, everyone, educated, not educated.
You and Web3, you and Web2 or even people still stuck in Web1.
It is meant for everyone.
That is the beautiful thing about Ontology,
meant for everyone. That is the beautiful thing about ontology. The beautiful thing about ontology meant for everyone. It is giving me, you and every other
person equal opportunity, equal chance, equal power. So why sleep on that opportunity? Why
gawk? Don't gawk it. You are in school. Leverage leverage that chance you're in school leverage the chance
beauty cabal beauty cover for yourself be the head of the cabal preach about ontology network to them
and see how ontology is uh ontology themselves will take over that cabal and make you the head
and make it worth it you understand build an, just like we are doing over here.
So anthology is building an empire in Africa.
We are building an empire in Nigeria.
Wherever it is, you are in Zamfara, in Abia, in Lagos, build an empire.
Build a kebab. Start from the humble beginning before you know it becomes a big thing.
And once it becomes a big deal, even because anthology is ready to know it becomes a big thing and once it becomes a big deal even because ontology is ready to help you make it become a big deal so no one is left alone
in the journey we are doing this together we are all doing this together and the beautiful thing
about ontology is they are not just coming to africa and leaving us at it. They are coming to Africa and giving us the right partnership in the sense that,
okay, you guys want to do meeting.
Okay, let us do real world meeting once in blah, blah, blah, blah,
once in blah, blah, blah, blah, which will be communicated, of course,
So they are looking forward to partnerships, partnership with myself,
personally partnership with you partnership with everyone. It is you can bring into into
into the into the into the network. So what else do you want me to see?
What else do you want to see? I'm 30 serving series of cases series of problems and um
either you are a farmer you are a student sme like what is it you want what is it you are or what is
the people around you are what do they stand for name means ontology is meant for them ontology is meant for us so in case you have questions about
you say farmers how does farmer actually benefit from this same way i told you it is good for
health care like health care health care record and all well that is the same way farmers can
actually step into the game and also leverage it.
Imagine you are a farmer, a local farmer, but in your town or in your locality, you are a champion there.
You are a renowned farmer, everybody trusted for what you do, but you are not known outside there.
Everybody trusts you for what you do, but you are not known outside there.
The ontology network is giving you a chance to have an identity whereby people around the globe can identify you as a farmer,
can identify you for what you do and for what you're good at doing.
What do you think that does to your farming business?
So that is what we are trying to do.
That is what you and i are
working towards with um in in in a month's time in in in some time to come you will start seeing
us in person moving to this um rural and urban areas talking to talking to the people that don't even believe yet in technology.
I don't even believe yet in what what theory is.
You will start onboarding them into the,
what is it called, into the ontology network as a whole.
So that is that is one of the things ontology is bringing to us.
So why not before we start doing that, why not leverage it right now?
Are you a builder? Are you an end user are you a dgen you
want to stake your aunt i mean you want you want to stake your you know stake your own or your
your tokens and make it work for you it is meant for every single person every single person it is
it is it is an opportunity for builders and users.
You understand? Talk about developers, creators, entrepreneurs.
As long as you are in Africa,
ontology network Africa is meant for you.
You build the apps, you build the apps, you can earn, you can contribute to
shaping Web3 identity solution.
It is meant for you. It is meant for you.
So I don't want to start sounding like a broken record going over what I've said
again, I don't want to start talking and talking and talking and talking and talking.
So I will be taking questions, I'll be taking contributions, I'll be taking
ideas, just like I said at the beginning of the class.
Sorry, class don't master me. Just like I said at the beginning of the class or sorry class don't master me just like i said at the beginning of the space um as i'll begin with every ideas are welcome and every
contribution matters we are here because of you you are here because of us so let us see ideas
let's rub our minds and let us talk about what next for ontology ng so before i continue
i don't want to start sounding like a broken record let me hear from if you have anything to
say you can request for the mic and for those that are currently here let us hear from you but
before we go into that my co-host want to talk to you my fellow co-host want to talk to you
my fellow co-host when I talk to you.
Ms. Zainab, you can have the mic.
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much, Godly.
I believe you have done so much justice to your speech.
And if you're even new to ontology, if you're new to blockchain,
you definitely have a grasp of what is going on here
and why we are all gathered here.
So I just want to shed a little bit light regarding the um identity
that you mentioned so a few days ago i was working on the script i posted a video today regarding
blockchain and ontology just a short story something that is beginner friendly and it's
actually in house but i added english subtitles so that it will be easy for someone that doesn't understand Hausa to actually know what I'm speaking about, especially if you're a beginner.
And believe you me, when I posted this, because I posted across all my social media platforms and on Facebook, where I have a large following audience, a lot of people were actually amazed by how simple the whole blockchain is.
But truth of the matter is when it first started reaching, especially the northern part of Nigeria, it was quite scary, you know, because it came in with a different face, not with what is actually behind it, not based on what it's all about. So most people see it maybe
either as a Ponzi scheme or something that they cannot even understand because the terminologies
are actually very big, very broad, and they just feel like, ah, this is actually for those that
went to school, or maybe this is for those that study computer science or any of the tech related courses
but you see breaking these things down make it more easier for people that have no idea on what
it what it is all about to actually understand it and also relate to it in their day-to-day activities
so many african countries now don't have a reliable national id system. So I will speak about Nigeria
because this is where I am from.
as our means of identity,
if you want to verify something.
So not all your data should be given out
just because maybe you want to verify your age,
just like Godly mentioned.
Let it just be what they want to know about you.
That's the only thing they should see.
In cases whereby you're making use of Google,
you're making use of Facebook, you're making use of
Facebook, they should not have full access or full control of your data. I have a background in data
analysis and I understand how valuable, how important our data is. This is why sometimes
when you scroll, maybe let's say you have a conversation with your friend on WhatsApp and
let's say you discuss about a bug. The next thing, when you just navigate to your Facebook or your Instagram, you're just seeing
bag suggestions, and you'll be like, how comes? What happened? How did we even get here? So this
is to show you that our data is being sold out. They have control of our data, whether we like
it or not. So let's have that authority to say that okay this
is what I want Google to have regarding my data this is what I want Facebook or
Twitter to have regarding my data not everything data is wealth if you know
the importance of data if you know how people make a lot of money when it comes
to data you value it and you see that it's not something you should give
anybody that just approaches you. So you touched on so many key aspects regarding
this identity issue and just like I mentioned in the beginning of my introduction, I said I was in
a space last week and when I heard about the artificial intelligence incorporation into
ontology, I was so excited.
I was so happy because I am a big fan
when it comes to artificial intelligence.
I use it ethically and I use it responsibly.
And I also advocate for a lot of people
to actually make wonderful use of it
in their day-to-day activities
because it simplifies your work
and it makes your work so much easier.
So now in terms of education, we see these days that a lot of people do have
certificate, they do have degrees, that at the end of the day it cannot
even be verified really well, especially in
this Nigerian system that we are, it cannot be verified really whether they
are the real owners of this certificate
or they forge this certificate.
So what if ontology can come into this picture?
The degrees and the certificates can be issued as a verifiable credential on ontology.
AI can just quickly do the authentication for us, prevent the forgery and making job application
or international admission more smoother
and much faster and much more effective.
And when it comes to finance,
we have a lot, I think maybe,
I don't even want to say like Nigeria
with the highest fintech companies
because I know we have other countries with their own numbers, but I know we see a lot highest fintech companies because I know we have other countries
but I know we see a lot of fintech companies in Nigeria.
So KYC is a big and is a very critical thing,
especially when it comes to these fintech companies.
customers can actually prove their identity once
and it can be used across all these platforms.
It doesn't matter how many platforms you have.
So while AI can also help in detecting the fraud,
this can save a lot of costs and also protect your privacy
and also protect a lot that has to do with your,
let's say, funds that you have in these fintech companies.
And then in terms of, let's say, health sector as well,
currently, especially in the public hospitals
or the government hospitals,
they still use the paper and buy-in card
when it comes to healthcare records.
And sometimes you find issues whereby you don't even,
Maybe you have been going there for a special case
that needs a special attention
and something happened in the hospital
before you know it, your record is missing.
And that's how you'll be going up and down
around the hospital, just looking for your record.
And there's nothing, like nothing can be done because
it's it has just gone missing just out of nowhere so you see these are things that we need to see
ontology do we need to see ontology allowing patients to store their own medical record let
them have access to it let them have a secure means of um of means of recording their health issues and also let them be able to share with only the verifiable doctors or only the verifiable hospitals that they choose to.
So what I mean by all this is, let's say, for example, let's say I can analyze the health data while ontology ensures that the authentic and ownership of that data
is by the patient. I hope that makes sense. Let's be able to have that ownership of our data,
which is very important, and let's give our data to those who we wish to give it out to.
to. So, like I mentioned, I was happy when I heard about the AI system and I wanted to
even make a comment in that particular space, but I think the time was quite limited. So,
I couldn't make any much contribution to it, but I think this is the best place for me to
actually make my small contribution. Okay can see bernaba's hand up
yeah thank you so much godly and mrs zeynab thank you guys i don't have much to add
my my addition is more of a technical um definition so in short you know maybe we have tech guys here in
short ontology is a high performance open source blockchain specializing in decentralized identity
and data infrastructure so it's built to power the next generation of web-free applications.
Ontology provides developers with the tools to build secure privacy-preserving systems
through decentralized identifiers as DIDs and verifiable credentials
with a focus on self-sovereignty, identity, compliance-ready infrastructure and question interoperability so for
ontology we don't only focused on let's say ontology chain because ontology is
a layer one blockchain right so we can also do cross-chain interact with other
blockchains that's what interoperability means so we can you can host you can integrate
ontology and other chain and then it will work seamlessly people don't have
to understand the tech you don't have to be tech savvy in order to use that so
it gives you that ownership over your data and then you are verifiable across
every other blockchain as simple as that so for me what i'll add is yeah we we discussed about the ai
parts last last week if i'm not mistaken and then it's something that they want to have ontology
wants to have its own marketplace where you can develop your ai model um hosted there and if I want to use that your service I will pay you a small fee right so it
will give developers like income stream where you have like an idea of
developing okay which I am what they should I develop is it to help the
healthcare people is it to help the agriculturist is to help the school
whatever you want to develop that AI model onboard it on your marketplace and
then if someone wants to use that AI model he gets to pay you how to use it
to you to use it so you see giving you that opportunity and also I just want to
add that if you are not following the
main ontology Africa account please do that you should also follow the main
account and Joff posted something yesterday that people should follow our
YouTube channel there will be an announcement coming up if we are if we can get up to I forgot
the number is it hundred or fifty people now subscribe to our YouTube channel
you will drop an alpha so definitely something that benefits the community
and also we we want to really like engage the community right so if you're on reddit please do well to
join our reddit account there will be games games will be going on very soon uh this is something
that we are planning and one of uh harbinger polaris is going to take uh like he's going to be the one hosting those games and yeah if
you are LinkedIn follow ontology too yeah they did a lot of announcement
coming up and it's something that they told me you know less English the
African community let them be active and I don't know they would definitely
there's some reward attached to all of those things.
So please, you guys should be able to join our Reddit, subscribe to our YouTube channel,
join the Telegram main account, and yeah, be active, be engaging.
I can see that some people yesterday joined the Tuesday conversation where they learned a lot and want some NFTs.
And when you accumulate 10 NFTs, you can exchange it to real cash.
So that's another opportunity for you to earn.
And yeah, that's all from me.
If I have something to add, because there are a lot of things, but this space is basically what next for the
Nigerian community going forward so those are the things that we put in
place going forward you guys should be able to utilize it don't be left behind
please you guys should be able to utilize it as Godly says only zero point
something percent of the world population is into web3 so we have 99 points something people that are still not
introduced this awesome technology because only 500 500 million people yeah
or more or less or less than that you see, you are still early.
You're just contributing any way you can.
And yeah, from there, let's see what we can achieve together.
Okay, thank you very much, Brian.
So let me just round up what I was saying.
I was actually trying to focus more regarding the AI part
that I was about to start talking about.
So AI is already here, we all know,
and it is being used for so many things
scanning documents, you know, and also sometimes even detect fraud.
So, but AI systems alone, they also have their own weakness.
So sometimes there's this bias that they carry.
Sometimes they misunderstood some things.
And also sometimes they depend on their centralized database for any
content or any information that you want from them. So ontology can actually step in, so offer
the ont ID, which means people can control their own digital identity instead of the central
authority. So AI tools can still verify documents, they can do their biometric and the credentials,
but the data, let it be secured, let it be encrypted, and let it be verifiable on chain.
So the combination actually reduces the identity theft that we have issue on,
also some fake accounts that we see almost everywhere, and also deep fake.
And then of course the misuse of data.
So this is just the little bit that I wanted to add regarding how this AI within and ontology
can just marry each other and just make a lot of difference and also make a lot of integration.
So I'll just hand over the mic to um godly to continue thank you
yo i am back once again the voice of web3 is back yes so thank you thank you for your contribution.
And just like we've been saying, it's like we've been saying, it's all been nothing but information.
And just like the name of the, that's slightly tied to the space goes.
Okay, hold on. I think there's a request here
sorry I can't request over here please accept the mic I don't know I can accept so um with that being said thank you once again for your contributions guys
thank you so the question of the days the big question of the days what next for ontology network nigeria
so now that we all understand what ontology stands for how our ontology plans to approach us
our ontology plans to help us and how we plan to open ontology. So what next? What next for Ontology Network Nigeria?
The first off is awareness and education. Just like I said before,
just like I said before, a lot of people, even in Web3, for the fact that we have a very little
The fact that we have a very little percentage of the world population in Web3, a lot of people in Web3 still don't have a proper knowledge of um for ontology network energy is uh awareness
and education you understand because i personally i think the next step for ontology network is
really deepening the awareness you understand and one of the awareness um one of the awareness
approaches is what we are currently doing right now, hosting a space.
We'll continue hosting spaces.
And just like I said before, we are, what was it called?
We are telling everyone, and we are, yes, we are telling everyone, especially the students, people in the campus,
either you're a worker in the campus or a student there, you are just you just live in the young staff.
You you you are one of the best ways we can create the awareness in the same one of the best ways you can create the awareness and awareness and education basically is one of the things that is next currently for
Anthology Network Africa, Anthology Network Nigeria particularly.
You understand? So we'll be hosting more spaces.
We are looking forward to campus awareness.
Well, like I said, create a cabal and in wherever it is you are.
Create a cabal. Doesn't necessarily is you are, create a cabal.
It doesn't necessarily have to be school, quote unquote.
It might be like an association, might be like a gathering.
Create a cabal if you need one or two of,
if you need one or two team members to be there to help you simplify
whatever it is ontology stands for and how it can benefit people in your cabal.
You can always reach out to the team and we can always work something out.
We are looking forward to more grassroots education,
so people truly get what decentralized identity can do.
You understand? Because you can approach someone and tell them about our ontology
plan to self-decentralize identity, and they don't even understand
of what you're talking about. So we're looking forward to proper education of what
decentralized identity can do for them. You understand? So and secondly, we're looking
part of what next for Ontology Network Nigeria is community expansion.
Yeah. We also need to expand the community with more ambassadors.
Ambassadors in the sense that I am an ambassador for Ontology Network Nigeria.
You are an ambassador for Ontology Network Nigeria.
So we are looking forward to expand the community with more with more ambassadors
either campus ambassadors, local champions, like I said about the farmers. Imagine a farmer,
I sat at an example that I imagine a farmer that start benefiting or the start leveraging
what Anthology Network Africa is actually bringing to Nigeria. That person automatically becomes an
ambassador not formally or becomes an ambassador not formally
or becomes an ambassador morally you understand because start preaching the gospel of ontology
netto angia is doing for him or for her you understand so we are looking to expand the
community either with local local champion people who can carry ontology into different regions of the country.
If you remember clearly the last time we had a space, Barnabas talked about
Barnabas talked about CT, CT captain,
what was it called? He talked about different stages of leadership.
So these are ways we are looking forward to expanding.
And I personally now I'm saying this and hoping the team will be here and since we're talking and sharing ideas, you understand.
So partnerships is one of the next things that is next for ontology network nigeria you understand so um yeah partnerships you understand
nigeria is actually filled with um strong fintechs you understand universities and blockchain up so
we will be looking forward to partnering with a lot of them because we know this will be a game
changer so you guys should watch out for that space. Watch the space.
A lot of things will be coming, coming, coming, coming, coming.
So don't let me start sounding like the Web3 educator that I am.
Let me start talking like a space host that I am.
So, yeah, so much energy coming from the hub of Ontology Network Nigeria and coming to you and I.
So part of the things that are next for Ontology Network Nigeria
is actually for developers and builders, just like I said before.
There's another big one is engaging Nigeria developers.
We want to get them to build an ontology through either through
you know we'll be looking for in time in time to come i don't want to speak on behalf of the on
so you guys don't hold me accountable for my words but i'm sure since we're dropping ideas
we'll be looking forward to architons you know grants you understand the ones that could open up
powerful solutions you get so yeah so those are those are
part of the things that are next for ontology network nigeria so um with all this being said
we'll be part of one of the uh what was it called the biggest um things we look that is next for
ontology network nigeria is actually our global position.
I see Ontology in Nigeria not just a part of it is actually a site
inside out of it. So now we don't want to remain just this side
once we want to have our own global position. So we're
looking forward to having our global positioning and the best
way we can do it is by making our own Nigeria hub itself,
showcasing our own Nigeria innovation to the entire global ontology ecosystem.
So these are actually what is next for Ontology Nigeria, you understand,
from awareness to community expansion to the developers and builders
down to the global positioning and who can make this happen you i we all of us
we can all make this happen and we will make this happen special shout out aaron the talk of the
town welcome aaron talk of the town. Welcome Aaron, talk of the town.
Sending much love to you.
Oh, you do your head at the moment.
So you can see what Aaron is doing, visualizing our education,
trying to simplify ontology,
trying to simplify what ontology stands for in our own visual way.
Same thing applies to my fellow co-host, Ms. Zainab.
She's also working on stuff, something like that.
So I, on the other side, I created a thread.
Like, for those that know me, if you go through my profile, X, I only write genuinely.
I don't just write because I want to write because you might not call me a content creator
and you can call me a content creator because I am, of course, but I don't just create content.
I can stay two, three months without creating one content.
So, but I write genuinely. When I see something unique, I write about it.
And currently I'm on a 30 day streak.
I'm on 30 day streak writing.
So yesterday I wrote about anthology and in days to come, I'll be writing about
anthology again, because why not anthology is unique and they're doing unique things.
Big things will be happening big things are
happening at the moment look forward to bigger things happening with this space watch this space
so um with that being said godly don't just want to talk and talk and talk and talk who has something
to say to me who has something to ask from me i see jamie ends up i see jamie ends up i want to hear from jamie i'm sure
you guys too want to hear from jamie jamie you can have the mic brother yeah um jamie everyone
like this is my first time on the space or i hope you guys can hear me yeah you're audible i can
yeah yeah yeah thank you for that thank you for that so yeah um literally i think i just
stumbled on the space and um i'm just literally um being oh like let's shoot into ontology right
now because i really don't know much about it and so and but well um it's actually pretty amazing what you guys have actually done, especially from what, I think, is it Zainab?
I saw her content about it and it's actually cool.
But I would still love to know more.
I've actually joined the Telegram community and stuff like that.
So I would love to connect with everyone on the space and to go on ontology at the same time.
You're welcome to the family.
Like I said, we are growing every day and we are welcoming everybody every day.
So the thing is, there is a thread.
Actually, there are several threads that have been created by community members to simplify what ontology so i'm very
sure it won't take you much time for you to properly understand what ontology is doing and
what we stand for and i'm sure from the few you've heard on the space um from the few you've heard
on the space you'll have big you'll have started getting familiar with what ontology actually represents. But to get further knowledge
of what ontology actually stands for, there are threads that have been made by different people,
myself inclusive. There are threads that have been made by different people. What ontology stands for,
what ontology is solving, what ontology plans to solve you understand so they have been their threads
have been made by several people and um you can go through different i'll be sending one to the
jumbotron right now um yeah so i just sent a post to the jumbotron um you can probably after the space or during the space you can click on it
go through it it will give you in a in a knowledgeable one ontology actually can you
see can you see the post though ah my fellow co-host is working jamie you can see the post right okay
good so yeah yeah i can hit the book okay good my. My course don't roll. Good. Don't leave me.
No. So with that being said, um, uh, so you can go through it. You will have a proper
understanding of what ontology network actually stands for and how they are approaching the
Africa, the Africa, uh Africa market as a whole.
another person want to talk to me and a person ask anything from me.
Even bananas, I let's pick out.
Oh, you guys are leaving me to this thing.
Oh, I love that space is approaching the end.
So I see another requests out by can't. I can't approve on this side.
Post, please, can you help me approve this request?
So since we'll be rocking the space soon, I basically want to hear from
everyone so we can answer and dot every eyes and cross
of it is or what team me you can go on let's hear from you all right jim jim everyone can you hear me
yeah jim jim yeah so um you we are speaking about like you're using this farmer scenario the other time
and you were describing how the man is known in his village but not known like outside his village.
But I feel like you forgot to like mention the reputation system, the ontology as which will make it
not only possible for the man to be known outside the village but through the
reputation system the people in his current village
