let's go everybody super hyped for today we have different schedule because
actually our country and our city hosting the izoki world championship so all of the people
no not all but a lot of people from all over the world actually traveled to prague czech republic
and other cities here to watch and play izoki and it's absolutely insane uh i've been probably to
most of the our games and the atmosphere and everything's absolutely unbelievable so super

to lose weight how to get a better posture uh then i'm getting like uh how chat gpt can uh change
your life and stuff like that did you finally accept the cookies no i don't know what's going on with
twitter right now and it's absolutely crazy and you know i i believe that twitter it's the heart of
web 3 like you can't deny that uh there's nothing like farcaster is amazing but twitter is still
the biggest but i don't know what elon did there but the you know i i'll give you a few examples what
i see on my timeline man once you see it you can unsee it the prisoner's dilemma okay tweet then uh let
me scroll a bit uh then i have pew pew then how to lose weight uh what should be your bmi like
what's going on guys bro it's almost summer obviously it's a nice weather people want to
lose weight you know so yeah i think that's the algo so i don't see i don't see web 3 anymore so
that's weird that's weird and also that there was crazy thing that happened like that pump fun
uh exploit for 80 millions i don't know if you saw that but absolutely crazy like the guy who
exploited it uh is actually doxxed so okay uh it wasn't that hard to track him down they they
basically check his instagram they found it find a founder club uh really partying and then they got

what was the thing yeah he was like this guy said he would airdrop the this 80 million uh to
different communities like slurf saga risk all and and you know so that's absolutely insane bro like
what's happening in this space when you steal like 80 million dollars like i don't know man it's not
happening like uh regularly in a normal world here so yeah he felt like that robin hood right like
distributing it immediately to everyone else yeah like that's the right thing to do
and the worst thing is that i i'm not holding any of these coins bro anymore so uh i would get zero
from that but uh yeah and but a solada on the other hand did quite well right like it uh
let me open the chart man yeah yeah it's like 178 dollars right now so uh it's not bad it's not
bad it's uh steadily going up 21 up past seven days yeah which is which is nice it was interesting
did you watch the whiff and stuff i know we talked about it before like it was interesting for me that
you usually expect that the meme coin will go up or down faster right so if solana is up 20 percent i
would expect with and others will be up even more but this time it didn't work this well so i don't
know like a lot of people have this theory right that when they want to increase the risk a bit a bit
and like increase the gains they just go with the meme coin instead of the main token but in this
case like this time it didn't work out so that was quite interesting for me yeah yeah definitely i'm

uh focus on storytelling and uh you know dj and stuff also so uh really hype about it also hype that
they're gonna use ape coin and ape chain so i think that's the right direction so yeah and i will
bridge to another thing that happened today and that's a by then uh i also saw mori uh mori minted his
you know it's basically like ai avatar and it turns your ape into like ai i will i'll pin it
because the video man that oh that's the video you shared yeah it's amazing i absolutely love that i

about what to do with my ape and uh you know how to how to share content and everything and basically
all of them told me like create your like ai clone uh so you are not dependent on like what
you're creating by yourself and if i understand it correctly like by then is doing something like
that so uh i actually did voiceover over this video but you can use of course like ai uh ai voice
and it's really dope you know imagine you want to share news every day about something or i saw mori
doing meditation um you know you can use this ai which anyway you are represented here by your ape
anyway so you can use this and uh i'm really really curious about uh how it's gonna work and
how will will we be able to use it because uh this video looks dope you know if we can change the
environments um that can be really useful so and it builds your brand right people see your ape
uh so yeah what you think about it you gotta like you got a custom one or you did it how did it work
like i can see the club and this one is probably custom i just created the script and they gave it
to me but cool you should be able to make it so uh and i think it should be like an agent so i can
imagine it to have it on my website and people can um people can connect with it talk to talk to
great flame you know based on how you want to uh interact with with other people so i think it can
be really useful and it can be a lot of fun and these are the things right like you have 3d apes
and people immediately started creating videos and animations around it uh you have these ai clones or
how to call it agents uh there's gonna be more content and i absolutely love to see that man because
uh literally i i see vince for example more as his ape than as his like real face right because
i've seen him more often by his ape than in the real life and i think it's super important and
and it gives so much options for the future what you can create i know more you know i mentioned him
again like he's been big uh on vtubing and doing all that crazy stuff i think with the with the
3d uh models it can be even like easier for the future for someone to create something
you know for us that we will be able to use it uh you know that you just log in you don't need to
customize it yeah these like 3d models with ai it's gonna be so wild man i i talked to benjamin
a few days ago from rack radio and i don't know if he shared it yet or not so i'm not gonna be saying
the details details but he's working on like a news that he wants to create with ai and let his
i think he's got a puppet now also so he will probably use his puppet to say the news but he
was like he was so excited and he was like man it took me like half an hour or like less than hour
and i was doing it i was creating it for the first time and he was creating like a few minutes news
and he said the only thing that he did he picked like a couple of my news that he wanted to share
and he connected with he connected it with some type of ai i don't know exactly which one he used
and it it wrote everything so well he said it wrote everything better than if he did it but it was also
like it was instant right and then he used the voice and it he could transcript it into the voice
so he had like a news video already in less than one hour and he said like it took me one hour because
i was doing it for the first time but i can literally be doing like regular news with ai and
my avatar and i spend like 20 minutes a day so i think this is gonna be wild and it's gonna be very
soon it's happening with the like the uh people or human avatars already i i forgot the site right
now but i was playing with that uh some time ago i tried to clone my ape uh but they said that they
cannot do it back in the day so maybe they can do it now but basically you can do news and i think
that's gonna be future like the news it's not gonna be real humans like why uh you know so also
gary v mentioned that and i also agree with that that uh maybe the future future of social media will
be a lot about the ai influencers and it's also happening already so uh you know we're talking about
ai uh apes i think that can be really really helpful for the future and for content on social media
uh because we we are not only on twitter right like uh we use instagram and tiktok and all other
platforms so it can be really dope exactly what's the biden about like uh if you meant it you can do
these videos or do do you know more about that yeah the one you share i think i pinned let me check

two weeks and uh you can use his platform uh for uh fantasy top right so if you hold that nft if you
don't like it anymore you can just ask for refund the nft is burned and you get your money back that's
that's dope right so is that like a trial period or or what's the what's the use case of that how can
you use that i think use case can be really interesting for communities because if you tie
uh tie the nft with any utility uh you know for example there there's a uh what's the name of that
puck something uh puck tracked uh it's art right but maybe osf will give it some kind of utility but
frosty's really tied it to utility of using his platform for for data about a fantasy top and if you
don't like it you just you know refund and you got money back so there's no risk for uh people who
are minting the nft uh i launched the the collection with either animation i also pin it up there it's
for 0.033 and i think it's locked for three weeks and then you can refund it so if you don't like it or
if you don't want to hold it and why people are doing that because if you buy nfts on blaster you
will get uh airdrop of gold later so basically people are farming uh gold by buying nfts so
definitely the use case will you know will probably change after the the the farming stops but one of
my friends he actually bought my nfts worth of 120 man i saw when i opened that i was like what the
fuck what happened yeah it's crazy because he he's on the he's on the blaster and he was like man i need
to allocate some eat so he bought yeah a few of nfts each worth of 20 but you are not getting the eat
right that's the that's the thing you i'm not getting 120 eat uh there's a yield and um you are
getting the yield i don't know how much is that but it's not gonna be like that much from 100 uh 100
eat but per year if you so imagine you have a community you know i i was i i see baron here so
let's say you have other space and maybe you drop the other space token and if people lock and or your
community locks their eat with your nft maybe you let them go to special discord or you give them some
i don't know entrance into your other side plot whatever you you you can imagine and people look
there eat and you will get a yield so basically that's the thing how you can make a stable income per
year so by providing utility people you know keep the nft locked or the eat locked and you are getting
yield so you're basically getting paid so it you know usually all these membership uh you know programs
you sold initial so you got eat and then you didn't have any like business model right so this is kind
of way how to do it and you get gold but we'll see what's happening in the future because like you
know the farming is getting out of hand i think these days so compared to traditional nft
like what's the what's the benefit is that can we say that it's lower risk for
people because they can get a refund no risk for minters so unless like something happens with blast

and that's like the whole crypto portal vibe you know is like where it's like extreme history matched
with like next generation art you know we have these immersive installations shining on walls which i wish
we had time machine and we could go back and tell them about nfts because they would just probably
blow up they would just probably catch on fire just because of the concepts and you know like they
would understand man can you imagine going back in time and and our ancestors they'd be like hey
this is the message tell my kids or or i don't know kids like kids in the future uh to mint apes you
know and and and tell them to mint a lot of them uh in may uh 2021 but that's what happened to you
that's what happened to you you fulfilled the prophecy i know i know i found it uh in um when i was
digging a hole in my garden i found it uh you know little bottle and and it was the message so
i did that i did that and you know what they told me they told me don't sell it you mfr like there's
gonna be a dip in 2022 2023 but man by the end of 24 shit so okay i'm holding man i'm holding uh sam

that's going to be great game i cannot wait and and here's and here's the tea i saw connor mcdavid
yesterday and he was walking through the lobby and he seemed kind of relaxed but he was looking
around everywhere with the anxiousness i like i like the canucks chances i'm going to say it here
i also wanted to come up and um sam have you have you connected with mean brains yet about getting your
work shown on the times square style billboards of nfc lisbon what no but we need to because i'm
definitely going to be there for around three i've been there every year i love it nfc is the best
conference for sure that's the best nft conference i love it so we definitely got to connect so i'm going
to throw it to the incomparable mean brains whose incredible project that started with a dream
and went to east denver and then has been growing steadily and is about ready to hit prime time
because not only is the third edition of nfc summit in lisbon a little later on this month
gonna happen in such a big way but it's gonna have these two massive billboards which doesn't
sound exceptional just sounds exciting but when you understand that there is an absolute revolution
taking place an entirely new industry that's been created through this project that's an ape project
that the apes are revolutionizing
decentralized digital display public messaging
and you can be a part of it i'm gonna let me bring take it from here
well what an intro what do i do with this gm everybody thank you jennifer thanks grateful for
making the time here and and for doing what you do man hosting these spaces is like a huge
commitment i get it i get it man so i appreciate you very grateful for grateful today um and and
yeah so you know this is simply put nfc lisbon is awesome we all know that it's a very expensive
conference there's these huge giant screens that are are typically just reserved for you know large
corporate spending and basically uh through my aip 383 we leased one of those screens and we
fractionalized it to be accessible to the entire ape community everyone and anyone anywhere can put
something on that screen and be a part of the event in an official way it's it's a when you come into
the main venue when you enter the main building uh there's a little lobby and then you have to go
through this set of doors that goes to the main venue and as soon as you walk through that set of
doors there's a screen like right there right in your face every single person has to walk directly
into that screen and then you turn left or right to get in the venue and that's the screen that we
reserved it's literally at the front entrance to the entire venue and that's what we call it the
time square of nfc lisbon and it's free there's no shill here there's there's i mean sure you could be
hey we love sponsors feel free if you like to that's wonderful but really this is a free thing just
everyone listening can just have your art displayed at the time square of nfc lisbon
to the official venue the full eight hours for both days and there's no cost you can just do that
uh this concept you know i used to have a construction company way back in the day and
you know i built that i bootstrapped it from zero to 60 people and i was the you know the sole founder
there and and when i when i had that construction company i really wanted to display messaging and art
and and particularly i want to display advertisements really in on digital billboards in my city when
there'd be a storm that came through but it was too expensive it was too slow there's too much red tape
it was too centralized and so after i sold that construction company and dove down the bitcoin
rabbit hole which led me here uh with my ape jpeg uh once i did all that i thought man this is an
interesting opportunity we could decentralize that industry you know airbnb came and in a way
decentralized the hospitality industry if you wanted to be in hospitality before you had to buy a whole
hotel you had to go to huge red tape but now anyone with a bedroom could do that you know
uber in a way decentralized the taxi industry and another industry that hasn't been decentralized yet
is these giant billboards it's monopolies that control over 300 000 billboards in the united states
alone millions of billboards across the planet are centralized by large corporate entities and if you
don't have the team or the staffing or the money or the patients then no one of the general public will
ever ever ever display anything on any digital billboard and it's probably no one on this space
has ever done that maybe one person possibly other than me uh but so i thought what if we
decentralize that entire industry across the planet that would be a really cool thing to do we could make
it accessible we could transform the old digital billboard industry into a public messaging service where
everyone can have access to the most prominent in your face messaging options that exist out there
so okay well how do we do this big vision well we thought the easiest way would be to test out some of
our assumptions test out the product in a small micro experiment so we leased a large three-sided
digital billboard truck three months ago at ethereum denver and the huge hackathon with like 15 000 people
and and we just crashed all the cool parties and we let everyone put whatever they wanted on the digital
billboard truck as we went around and uh you know had great times and it worked there was over 700
people you know uh i think it was probably 250 apes and um and just the ecosystem in general got to
engage and have fun on that truck now in in lisbon uh because obviously eight coin dao is a huge sponsor
there and and they're really nice guys so the organizers at the uh nfc lisbon are awesome people
um we thought okay well let's do it here let's try going inside this time instead of on a truck we'll go
on a screen inside and um and let's up it up and and see where it goes and now we have over a thousand
people that are displaying their art and messaging on that board for free and this is as jennifer said
this is a project that originated from apes from ape coin from board of community from both not just one
not just the other none of this weird strife arguing that happens sometimes from both it's come from both
it's united front to decentralize an old school industry across the planet starting with the ape
community on both sides of the dao and the nft ecosystem so uh that's what we have right now uh
anyone can still claim a free spot there's uh limited space of course it will you know be gone
at some point and what's cool is we also have a professional photographer set up right there on in
front of the camera on a platform to get a perfect shot so every single person who puts content on
there is going to have a photo a professional photo sent to them also for free so sharing your
social medias to keep forever to prove that you've been a part of this and that stays with you for life
so um anyways those are those are a few tidbits and you know i'm just here trying to um trying to like
make people understand that some of the things we do in this industry does have a lasting impact like
i imagine a future where everyone on the planet has access to any digital billboard anywhere
and it all started from the ape community and that's a legacy that we get to potentially make
going across the ecosystem uh it's been a really cool journey we're just getting started and i want
to ramble too far here but um just you know again gratitude to grateful ape here and and thank you

conversation but the thing that's also really important is as this moves forward if you hear
that there's a sponsorship what's the difference between the free message and the sponsorship and
why is sponsorship so important to allow the free messages to exist if you have that opportunity what
what is involved in the sponsorship that's so incredible it's not just sponsorship for
corporations it's something that will give you the opportunity to show more of your work um mean
brains would you talk a little bit about how those enhanced packages really let artists and everybody
have a chance to enrich the story they tell at nfc lives and this isn't just like a blast on the boards
yeah i mean the long-term vision of course is to be on physical billboards on highways everywhere and
bus stops and elevators and and have that be um you know a global revolution and and that's where you
know from a business perspective that's where we're able to derive like actual revenue and profits and
have a you know an expansion uh scaling strategy just like uber and airbnb so when we go to these events
it's really just meant for in community involvement it's meant to engage people it's meant to be something fun
and it's meant to decentralize these billboards for everyone who's at the conference and anyone
that couldn't attend the conference can still be a part of it even though they couldn't you know
afford the flight they can still be there in their art in their spirit and the sponsorships enable
that to happen because the the work that we do at the events that's like a non-profitable initiative
that you don't we don't make money on that we never will we don't plan to it's it's designed to be
that community initiative and in our testing grounds for some of the products so the sponsorships
enable us to keep doing this so if we have you know if we can get enough sponsorships and enough
just base revenue just cover some base expenses then we can keep going out to other major conferences
maybe we can you know maybe i can uh luckily get an ape fest or something i don't know well i mean
that's definitely something i'd love to do but we can continue to decentralize this and get people
involved across the planet so long as we have just a little bit of funding for our base ops and that's
what the sponsorships enable us to do so a sponsor can get maximum exposure of course on the main
screen at the front entrance to nfc lisbon and that's you know the most important thing i think
for a sponsor but on the on the flip side it's also helping other people be able to access these
boards that previously they wouldn't be able to so it's both if you want extra exposure the best way
to do that is with a sponsorship and if you also want to support the community and let other people
access this then the best way to do that is also with the sponsorship and if you want to do both
well then great sponsorship again so can everyone apply for that or you have to be like ape holder or
ape coin holder or how that works no in the name of true decentralization we've let it be open to
anyone um obviously we have a a affinity and a love to see more and more apes up there and i would always
reserve large portions of that space for apes but not all of it because if we did it wouldn't be
decentralized right if it's truly decentralized everyone needs equal access so yes there's certain
certain quantity of spots that are exclusively reserved just for apes and there are some of
those still available now and then there's also uh the rest of the board which is wide open to the
general public we've had selfies and dog photos and vacation photos and you know just anyone can put
anything so um it is truly that that you know is it fully decentralized well i mean look i i'm i'm
one person and i have a you know a lot of say on what goes on those boards or not but so far we've
only had to deny one photo because it was a rude obnoxious dick pic and i just don't want
dick pics oh beast i knew that i knew that i knew that i mean it's the early days you know we we all
remember the bathroom you know yeah yeah so then but then on the flip side there's really important
names really important projects that are on there really big apes and really big uh mutants and you
know kennel dogs and uh you know even yugo labs was on there a little bit and um you know we had horizon
on there we have ape chain being promoted on there we had big sponsors promoting really
important projects in the ecosystem while simultaneously having the entire ecosystem
get on there and engage with it for free it's it's the best of both worlds yeah that's amazing i i have
to apply uh to um definitely with the chocolate uh with the show and and actually rida he he sent me
amazing render of uh my apes uh feet so i think uh i hope you're not gonna deny that but it could also
be another you know new business opportunity idea uh we'll see we'll see maybe the feed pic and uh
sol address that could be great but no i'm i'm kidding but it's a it's amazing like whenever also
we experience something similar with our apes uh during the ape fest like whenever you see your ape
or your product on a on a billboard like it's incredible so i love the idea also that you're gonna
take a professional photo uh because that happened during the apes too and that that's amazing you
know they actually deliver it to you to your email love that so cannot wait cannot wait yeah it's gonna
be it's gonna be a lot of fun lisbon is really in the house this year isn't it man like nfc lisbon
and then coming up with ape fest too do you know the venue i've been trying to find the venue i want
to like strategize on the biggest possible giant pop-up digital billboard and at ape fest and pitch it to
them um and and i'm trying to figure out their venue but i think it doesn't announce i guess
until tomorrow when ticket sales come up is that right is that different venue than the last year
i don't know that's what i'm wondering i mean you mean apes ape fest or the nfc lisbon for ape fest
oh for the ape fest we don't know yet yeah i think we do i'm curious do we i think we do probably
yeah because yeah they showed some old building right and and some more stuff so i'm i'm not sure
100 is that different than the nfc one yeah i think so okay but baron's here you know we always
can get a secret alpha from from baron maybe i don't know but um i saw some tweets so i'll try to
find it uh gene is confirming so i don't know what is he confirming but uh something what you said beast
um sam uh you should also send some art or you know crypto portal uh designs and everything uh for
promotion because you guys doing a great work actually here no for sure and i love the initiative
mean brands like we're discussing it all the time here and actually our last exhibition um not the
most recent one but the previous one was about street art and i actually had somebody on a panel
who runs the um art in the metro here and we were talking about the digital billboards and we were
talking about street art and how like street art can be perceived as invasive and then uh amazing
street art uh david strauss said actually the advertisements are way more invasive than so i
love the initiative i think we should replace all advertisements with art and i think we will live
in a much better world so i love what you're doing i would love to bring it to prague let's definitely
talk about it um because yeah we have some ends with some of the digital billboards here um and we
are planning it for a while we love it like we talk about this stuff all the time like public display of art
is a missing uh gem in our community i would say that's awesome and you know there's a there's a
misconception like the the monopolies that own the billboards have a belief that the advertisers pay the
most money therefore they're going to gear their entire strategy towards the advertisers and the biggest
dollar but what they're what they're misunderstanding is the same thing that taxi companies and hotel chains
misunderstood is that by focusing on large corporate entities you're excluding 99.999 of the entire
population and if you pool the resources of that 99.999 of the population together you end up with
essentially not only more money than those large corporations but you get money from those large
corporations as well because the entire population like people on the teams of those corporations the
marketing departments the ceos the the janitors they're all part of those companies too and if we open up
the market to everyone then not only is it more inclusive i believe it's also more profitable
and that's the same thing that uber and airbnb found so but it takes a shift of mindset and it's only
we're only able to do that through technology and and that's really where we're at today just you know
for me i'm just lucky to have stumbled across one of the few remaining industries that hasn't been
fully reimagined yet and and would love to go to prog and love this to reimagine how digital billboards
work in prog and that's what we're trying to do so that's great we should chat after too no i'm
definitely sending um some art and what i was wondering is can i send like one big file with all of
the art from the exhibition because that's the first idea i have is just to make one long movie file
with all the pieces of art displayed on it yeah we we can we can probably uh yeah we could organize
a back end that would just take your file and auto uh insert it into the rotation and you know
resize it and compress it so it displays fast like there's some cool stuff we could do there
for sure when we're talking about scale uh right now for individuals you know there's one free
display spot that goes up to lisbon and anyone can upload either a static image or a gif under eight
seconds and they just you know create an account you can upload it in your account control it in your
account resize it uh but going into a larger scale and doing broad stuff yeah we can just develop a bit
of a custom uh back-end automation and deal with large volume that's that's how we grow
we'll be in touch man that's for sure because we have some amazing art to show you and i would
love to like keep it rolling bring it everywhere bring it around and i'm we're definitely going to
meet in lisbon we have to because i'm going there on wednesday actually i'm going earlier for sure
i'll be there i'll be there from the 24th until i'm staying after i'm staying all the way to the 7th
oh wow nice that's a proper here you go i love it i love it for sure i'm definitely submitted for
the on behalf of the artists we have a team of about 10 people there and then obviously the
photographer with his helpers and um because you know we have to like coordinate lineups and keep
people organized there's a staircase so we got people safe so we'll have a pretty big team it'll
it'll be hard to miss us there right at the front entrance with like 10 people and a huge lineup
i'll be asking for you for sure i'll be finding all right all right man can't wait to hang out

already next week holy moly next week we better get you to free display spots up there everybody
yeah i definitely do it right after the space uh because i already uh prepared something and you
guys not gonna believe it the background of the uh of the image that i prepared is orange so all

knows that the orange is not elite but um yeah can i also say imagine having a grateful show
yeah i also have the on yes at the when this becomes a simulcast tool
there is no limitation literally if we can dream it we can invent it and we can make it happen
the future of this is limitless and you know i'm i mentioned at the start of this space like
2021 2022 that we talk about a lot talk about artists and what's happening in the space how this
space can disrupt like the traditional businesses and and bring innovations right to the world and
i'm really really hyped for what you what you guys said and what you're doing because uh you know like
the future is not about farming you know like farming blast gold like it's fun you can make money but
we really need to uh bring some change into the world and bring some cool shit cool stuff you know that's
you know that's that's why i'm also uh really hyped for tank ape and uh you know what they are doing
with 600 000 of um apecoin for for companies and builders uh because you can integrate apecoin uh
you know maybe to your to to your um shopify uh you can do some some uh digital physical products etc
right you can you can create something awesome that people love so uh you know can can't wait to see the
photos and can can wait to see uh actually my billboard there me neither man me neither i can't
wait to see up there too um we're probably going to do some cool stuff with apechain coming up too as
that launches uh there's a lot of ways that we can integrate like we have because we have uh quests
and xp and there's a leaderboard if you go to the public board website there's a leaderboard and all
these cool like social farming stuff you can do to get xp and climb the the leaderboard and then
we're giving away a bunch of really like extra featuring free space to the top 10 people on the
leaderboard and i think in the future we can incorporate um some ape chain uh you know apecoin
drops uh you know we give extra perks for people that pay with apecoin and it's a lot easier on
ape chain because then we don't have to worry about the gas so there's a lot of ways that we can
integrate apecoin into this moving forward with the launch of ape chain uh so yeah we're really excited
about that too and we're talking with horizon a lot about you know what are the best ways and the easiest
ways because like how do we how do we migrate 100 000 wallets and get them set up on ape chain for
the first time and there's a lot of ways to do that you can have games you can have this you can have
that and one of the easiest ways is just to be at conferences to just show up and have a free
community initiative that's low cost to to run it doesn't take millions of dollars to do this right
and we just be there and let everyone participate and come on ape chain as uh as a perk and and we can
put some cool incentives around that to hey if you're on ape chain and you get a free spot we'll
give you extra free time and all of a sudden next thing you know we got a whole bunch of people
coming to ape chain and and starting to adopt this this cool ecosystem chain like this is a rally cry
for the ecosystem and um and yeah so anyways uh there's a lot of cool things we can do there with
ape chain coming up and i'm really excited to be a part of that too yeah ape chain is another exciting
things that's coming i think it uh horizon said that it should be live uh end of june uh early july
so it's around the corner guys like uh yeah and i remember the other side mint of course right and
uh you know i think yuga or i i don't even know if there was a yuga account back in the day probably
yuga or board ape account said like uh we definitely should have our chain because this gas fees etc and
we are here right now so i can't wait a lot of people actually in my dms are like hey i'm building
for the ape chain so um can't wait and we definitely need builders uh for a chain uh you know to to have
some stuff to do there and that's also that was a part of the tweet that um other guide uh put together
right that garga mentioned that basically the ape coin will be part of other side uh economy right
and it will run on ape chain so damn that's dope yeah i can't wait to be there i went to lisbon a
few years ago and finally get to come back and it was like you know i got this airbnb we got the whole
team just like crowded and you know sharing rooms and sleeping on the couches and mattresses we have
just the whole airbnb just stuffed with people uh running the conference and then i was like i'm
gonna stay a few days extra so i don't know if i don't know if you guys are staying out there a bit
after but uh i definitely like to to hang out and just kind of simmer down after the big energy of
the beach party and meme con and all that stuff and yeah because you know the irl connections are
so important right it's so easy to just live on a computer screen and then we go to these conferences
and yeah sometimes they're a bit expensive but we approach it right you know get a cheap flight and
share accommodations we can all have that that irl component that makes it real and transforms the
digital into something tangential it transforms the feeling of like all of us being isolated on a
lonely island and all of a sudden we get together it's like four thousand of us together it's like
whoa hey we're actually doing something this is real this isn't just in my head it's uh uh it's one
of the greatest feelings going to these conferences and seeing the builders there that i've heard about
or seeing the the the the figures the public figures in real life and to hear that their words in
real life match the digital and yeah it's really cool for me i get excited about it it's still 100
percent like irl is the best that's why i was happy that uh we could join uh last week i don't even
know what's the day today on monday yeah last week thursday sam that was too long ago that was like four
days i know i know that we could join you there because um you know i believe that like spaces are
amazing for you know um connection with other dgens here in this space other side with 3d avatars and
with you know much nicer environments that's another level and then you have irl so i believe
um the dynamics and the connection will be a little bit different with other side because we will be
able to hang out more together and then ape fest irl events like nfc lisbon such a beautiful place so
yeah really hyped no it's definitely such a amazing feeling and last week just confirmed it so much
like seeing the artists in the space and artists meeting each other and you know like slowly
introducing people i was explaining you know like the most like basic metamask procedures to somebody
and it just felt like we're growing you know it just feels like we're growing and like it's hard to
tell on the internet and because like they especially recently on x and twitter it's been like a little
more pessimistic than optimistic and then you go to the irl events and everybody's insanely bullish
and positive it's like what's happening it's like really needed i think i think it's actually like a
little therapy just to meet in real life to talk about these big ideas and it really helps so i'm
super excited uh that it worked out so well last thursday all the artists are super hype we're at over
200 mints which i think is great like that's a big milestone you know i don't have any expectations
for it but i'm just so happy that everybody's so supportive and just those small wins of irl stuff
add up that's for sure exactly man it's every single time that when you go for in real life events
people are bullish and people talk about ideas people talk about technology and you know like
you just feel such a good vibe that it gives you this you know extra sense that you're in the right
spot that you're in the right place to be so yeah and shout out to you man it was amazing can you also
share with us a little bit how did the reward distribution worked because when you were telling
it to me i i was like wow this is interesting basically how artists can benefit and how they how
they can automatically get you know the rewards from the pieces and the gallery also yeah the reward
system in on zora is like really cool because how it works is basically it's like free mints but you
pay a network fee and this network fee is like point zero zero zero seven seven seven and for all of us
who have used mainnet these are like negligible numbers like nobody cares like it's like two dollars
if you see gas fee is two dollars you're in heaven so it's kind of like that that is the network fee and
half of it automatically goes to the creators um and then beyond that it goes to the zora network
which also includes referrals so anybody can with a zora account can refer the art so this is pretty
much motivation for everybody here to share the crypto portal art because you have referral links
on each piece so if you share your favorite piece you can get rewards if people click on your link and
mint it so basically we're kind of creating this um you know energetic reward system where instead of
you know sharing stuff and basically let's say shilling for free you have like some incentives and
you have like rewards for sharing art and i think that's like the real you know core of the space is when
you're sharing art getting rewarded for it artists are getting rewarded for it they're getting their art
shared and everybody wins and it's amazing and this was the first time like in the past i was really
against taking any kind of cut from the artists for the gallery um you know that's a traditional gallery
model and galleries are taking up to like 50 sometimes 60 from the artists to present their
works in traditional galleries but we really have to figure out a way to create the self-sustaining ecosystem
in the in the gallery um so we basically have also a cut going for crypto portal and then for the
artists and after like 200 minutes we're at like 0.067 or something like this eth earned for all of the
artists across the collection um and that's beautiful to see because it's a small win it's not these big
numbers that we can just like hype up online and everybody gets so excited about the numbers but we're
getting a broad range of artists all getting their pieces minted and for me i think that's amazing in
the gallery because you know in the past we were having one piece minted and we were super excited
about it it was great but like now we have 200 pieces minted even though it's for free and it's not
it's not the same as like the traditional gallery it's amazing to see i love it like i love to see it because
it's like everybody involved is growing together and i feel it's like a win win win right sam that
it's a win for artists it's a win for the gallery and it's a win also for the people who go there and
to see the place because like as a as a person who is visiting i can literally mint everything for almost
free it was like one dollar or two dollars right uh and i can i can get this extra i can collect the pieces
so it's suddenly a different experience for me as a visitor because i'm taking something with me
right i'm taking like the piece of that experience with me and also like for the artists when i
minted it for almost free they automatically get the money like the proportion so since it's on
blockchain it goes automatically so you don't need to do like the paperwork and stuff and for gallery
exactly what you're saying maybe you can do like cool event and maybe at least partially or fully you can
like finance it through that right so it's kind of like interesting mechanics how how the the events
can work in the future and it's much quicker because i think that people um when you see free mint
you're not like hesitating you're not you're not debating especially when the art is this good and
i'm not gonna lie the art is that good it's like really amazing pieces from local and international
artists and when you see it in real life and yeah as you said it's almost like a like a po app to some
degree but like almost like the pure like decentralization where it's like everybody can
get onboarded with this and i know personally people who collected their first nfts at that event
and no they're not collecting super grails on l1 but they're collecting nfts like that is the purpose of
the exhibition we called it one of us because it's also onboarding people explaining the tech
and getting artists really in the center of it without having to do any big major jumps through
hoops it's really like here's the pieces if you like it you can mint it and you know you can mint
more it's like up to you you can mint 111 pieces you can mint more than 111 pieces so it's really like up
to you how many free mints you want and it just all of that goes into the artists it goes into the
ecosystem and it goes to the gallery and it goes to you know build new products on zora so i think
it's really i'm super hype about it and honestly it was such a great time the energy is still there
that's for sure i absolutely love man that after the exhibition you basically can just press one
button and mint all of the pieces at once so that was that was really dope and also you can you can
connect with the artist there so you see the piece on the wall and you can chat with artists about it
uh you know i talked with uh vic i talked with bastian uh about their pieces so that's amazing i
absolutely love that so we started as the show you know supporting artists and talking about ip and and
and businesses so i'm really close to this and i love that so much and i have a couple pinned uh
tweets to the space um check it out the first one that's up there right now is just the overall vibe and
crypto portals page so awesome like you can see we had a huge turnout it was um around 120 people
which it was amazing it was such a big space so everybody was really comfortable and spread out
and the second one from me is a thread just going through each art piece um i did sound design for a
couple of them and this like super sick lineup international artists local artists and i think that's
really like the future we want to take um and we really want to get as many artists supported as
possible and we're going to be pushing it especially with uh meme brains uh board we're definitely going
to get on there and you know i'm definitely going to push the artists as much as possible for the next
30 days because it has like 30 days on the mint i was thinking about making it shorter but i think 30
days is fine because it gives us lots of time to go to lisbon talk about it have the events in prog
and talk about it and really like we have 200 minutes right now i don't know how many we're going to get but
i'm definitely optimistic man um there are a lot of people actually creating also art around
apes and uh with your pop-up gallery like doing uh focus galleries you know also for like maybe
crypto punks apes you know uh maybe they can they have funds from apecoin dial to do it i don't know
you know but just brainstorming aloud uh those can be really amazing uh also opportunities to showcase
what nfts are and that's what you've been guys doing uh since i know you right since
2021 like normies they went to the gallery they saw maybe crypto punk for the first time they saw
ape for the first time there and um that's amazing you know and we are a small city we are just like
1.5 million people here uh but imagine this is happening across europe across america asia and
everywhere like uh and and the art is legit like that's beautiful that's a nice use case for nfts
right that's that's awesome like it's not like doing some crazy defy it's still the easiest way
to explain uh nfts like through digital art and through like in real life experiences because it
never happens that people go to a gallery and they would say like hey it doesn't make sense to own
digital art right it's every single person when you talk to someone even if they see digital art like
on the screen for the first time they like okay it makes sense to own it actually because it's the
same like you know the process of creating it the way of thinking it's like the same like if you're
using a piece of paper right so it's it's art so it's usually like the moment when people even the
non-web3 people agree that it actually makes sense to have blockchain and nfts exactly and some people
like big shout to sketch light ray who's in the audience right now her piece is using you know
like time-lapse photography and that kind of stuff you can't really do on paper like that stuff needs
to be digital like it's like basically digital native so now that we have this way to facilitate
like ownership of digital native like ideas i think we have a lot of like ways to use that and it's
getting better and better every year and i'm so thankful that we could even pull this off because
three years ago making your own contract was so hard unless you're a developer you're not going to
do it like i'm pretty deep into this space but it was like so hard three years ago to really do
like this kind of work and now we have so many tools to do it i think we have a lot we have we're
definitely early that's what we're gonna say it's also you wouldn't be able to make this almost free
mint if we didn't have these layer tools that we have now so an hour ago right we were talking about
that i mean it was nice when we were all on ethereum only that it was less fragmented but at the
same time like now we have all these use cases that you can literally create this event people can
mint the art for almost free and they don't pay any fees because it's on layer two right so it's nice
to see that we are actually moving forward and it's just i feel like there is just a lot of noise
yeah that's definitely the point man like there's a lot of noise it's uh i think for
new people if they join like uh twitter right now they're they have to be really really confused
because like we started uh with you know i'll talk for myself like i started with basketball cards
like nba top shots and then pfp projects art etc and now like if you join twitter like you can do
like so many crazy things uh it really has to be overwhelming and i i think like uh getting in
touch and connecting with artists and um buying art like it doesn't have to be like for for a lot of
ease like you know if you can buy on zora and as you sam as sam mentioned um it's really great way how
how to actually start you know so loved it loved it and it's a little less intimidating like i feel
like when you pop up and you see the transaction fee is 70 dollars unless you are like an og like that
is a lot like unless you're not even pricing it in dollars and you see that like it's scary and now
i feel like it's very logical people will just kind of like it's way more facilitatable than just
like thinking about it in these old ways where it was like okay minting a piece it's a really big deal
because you have to go through this very drawn out and expensive process and now it's so it's so nice
and it's like i feel like there's so much more momentum that can happen um and that's why i'm so
excited about having 200 minutes it's just like having 200 minutes on you know like um a local
collection like that's something that i feel like is is hard to do like as a local gallery um you know
like i think it's crazy and also giving away the pieces as like a free mint i don't know how many
other galleries are giving away art so that's like a whole new paradigm shift and i can see it working
out um really let's see where it goes but there's so many different ways to think about the space that
i think it will allow a lot more um you know diverse people in and i think that's like the real goal
here it's not about these big numbers or anything like this it's about good art and getting more
people in i think that's really it yeah yeah man and i'm i'm really curious with uh let's say other
side right if you will be able to expand just the irl event into irl and digital event at the same time
you know and if you will be able to do interaction between people online and and irl on that location
uh i think that would be really really dope i don't know if you can just scan the location
with your iphone right to do the 3d stuff and uh i don't know what you can do but that can be really
dope because last year gordon actually tweeted something out that uh they are preparing or they
were preparing or they wanted to prepare uh something for the ape fest right it's gonna be other side
related so maybe you know copy of the ape fest on the other side i don't know
it didn't happen there were live streams i i really i'm really excited and curious if it's
gonna happen this year because this could be so awesome right like you you cannot join irl because
maybe you are in us so you can join online but you have better experience than just the video right
like the video and stream that's not it that you need something more so man so many opportunities for
the for the for the near future yeah i feel like with with ai also it will be soon possible to recreate
these spaces easier that even when i was watching that chat gpt for what's that omni uh video and they asked
it where where are my glasses right and it could you pointed a phone and it could find like a glasses
among all the stuff in the room so i think i don't know how to figure out the decentralization part
on this because it's kind of the other side here literally like it's like all in hands with in few
companies but in terms of the like use case and the way how to recreate stuff i think it will be very soon possible
and remember that portal that was between and portal shout out to portal for the branding but
the portal between uh new york and like ireland and they were installing these like big circular
video streams between these two cities i think it could be something like that i really see it as
something like that where it's like almost like in real life there's a representation you can see
people in there you can interact with them but also like they're experiencing the same thing in a
virtual sense um so did you guys see it by the way it was super cool the video i saw some girls
like uh showing their titties uh to the other okay i didn't see this one so i was like damn people are
so clever they always come up with some stuff that it's not meant to be right like uh people should
say hi to others so uh yeah i'm not sure um i'm not sure that's how you go viral man i know i'm not sure
how you actually can uh you know uh protect the viewers from content like that uh maybe you have a
you have a bodyguard there to protect it but i wanted to ask membrane uh do you guys also think
about billboards in the metaverse so maybe something you are cooking for nfc lisbon uh you know if you
will be able to do it i don't know in om or uh spatial or other side
yeah you know this is a topic that's come up several times right and like imagine like and if you
remember anyone that played who plays league of legends by the way let me see some thumbs up am i
the only super gamer nerd at the moment here any league of legends players all right we got a couple
all right all right all right so like there was a time when they experimented with having ads on the
lanes they put company ads on the lanes as you're running up and down you know doing your thing in
the game and and so that was like an interesting experience other experiments like that too where they
incorporate advertisements into general gameplay uh it's it's a way to keep games free for example which is
super cool and but at the same time we don't want it to be spammy but then the next evolution of that
concept is to allow anyone to put whatever they want onto those predetermined areas think of it like
a graffiti wall right we go and we see this beautiful wall and and some artist has done a beautiful uh a
bunch of work on it well obviously the the beautiful thing with with digital is that it doesn't have to be
one piece for a decade it can be you know thousands of pieces within a couple days um and so we'd love to
do something in sandbox we'd love to do something uh in spatial we'd love to integrate with the
central land we'd love to have huge public billboards set up inside metaversal conferences and events
whether in pixels or otherwise that everyone can be a part of you know just yesterday i was uh i was
playing on i love my oculus man and i can't wait to try i can't wait for more games to come out on apple
vision pro but i was on my oculus yesterday shooting bow and arrows and my favorite bow and arrow game and
it's super fun and it and it it transforms my living room where i'm by myself and it's raining
outside you know isolated it transforms that experience into a uh a fully immersive one where
there's other people around me and it feels like i'm right there and having a digital billboard right
there in front of me in a in a collective area where people are gathering towards has the same impact as
driving by one on the highway it's all the same thing and that's where we really get to be
interesting with ape chain with the use of ape coin and the integration of technology into
the metaverse world of of the long-term strategy for public board um and that's definitely part of
the long-term plan uh i i need to have the right conversations with sandbox in order to set up an
mvp that we would fund and have some some fun with uh but yeah man you you hit the nail on the
head i didn't go into that right away because i didn't want to get too deep on people but uh
you're 100 right oh look at that we got g in here too what's going on g jesus i love your mutant how
are you doing hey good uh speaking of my mutant i just noticed with the 3d um mutants coming and um
the work being done on them that um i have an issue with mine and anyone else may have that issue

directive right i have no idea it's dc it's dc i have to go back to the acronym and then go back to

say so um the toolkit to build in the other side and um so they um noted or sorry they started putting
out wearables and i just noted that hey my in the model that comes with my ape is going to have a toga
that'll be you know presumably past the knees or whatever inherent in the model which makes making
putting on you know tights after that kind of problematic unless you adjust the model so a bit
of a point of order there and um tagged baron and some or darren uh or baron and you know bad teeth
or somebody hopefully someone from yuga notes that and um sort of mitigates that somehow uh but with um
uh mean brains uh this is i've extended the invite before our united grand halls uh you know our
debut iteration has uh been in the uh sandbox and publishing is available now so we can literally
get to work on you know creating partnerships and activations in the sandbox together which
we've always talked about and um the as you you know mean brains has probably spoken to they're going
out to lisbon uh and um sorry i jumped in late but um sandbox will be out there and they have
all kinds of things going on their activations including um a chance to win a land and some sand by just
going and participating in some uh actual um engagement that they have there so um just a way
that um you know i've talked to mean brains in the past about this and i love the question
about it being in the um the metaverse is is metaverse i what is the plural of metaverse
um sandbox to uh you you mentioned spatial i think spatials i'm bullish is f on spatial and i
would say also include um ovr over the reality over reality in there because they're also huge they'll
they'll be out at lisbon they're great friends of us and you know the sandbox and um probably um
now that uh 3d 8 models are available you can use those in ar in ovr which is like spatial in that
it's geo located this is my point when you have a truck driving around in real life in you know you
know which is you know on the globe which means it is geo located um and then you can duplicate that
in the metaverse and you know once these things get built out and it can be you know you can tap
into a a spatial metaverse that is global or a um you know whatever it is that happens to be global
or even just in the other side and just have activations where you're trying to find that truck
and do all kinds of things like that you really start to bring some fun activation and engagement into
uh this um uh public board whether it's the truck or the actual um boards at the sandbox event but um
you know the idea of uh me having experience in the sandbox and um having engagement with the public
board is not only just the advertising in game that um main braids is talking about and i think that's
an exceptional model we saw it used in uh uh undead blocks if anyone was into that project or still is
with you know kind of came off as the first person shooter they didn't go for web through free funding
for the ongoing support for their tournaments and you know pay to play what they used was advertising
you know like let's get mountain dew banners and whatnot into our games and pay for the contest that
way rather than you know um get it from vcs and stuff so really interesting but what i really want
to see and this is the play um since i can't get out to lisbon this is my um pitch to mean baren right
here um the play i would do is um get uh uh you with the mvp for the sandbox love to work together with
you on that but um get an actual truck get this truck and um somehow make it uh so that the um
it has animations where the the side can be displayed and at least promote yours
and maybe a qr to link to the project itself but you could actually sell that as an asset
that is and here's my point rather than go with your own land and your own experience which is the
sandbox sort of you know go-to strategy what i suggest is get that truck as an asset that's available on
the marketplace and it is the gate lock to benefits and so people who collect that truck and have that
truck on their sandbox experiences and make use of it will also have other activations if you mean
that's a that's um me as a og sandbox maxi who knows the play and been sussing out with team everybody
else on how to monetize how to create engagement how to bring up daily active users um i really see
opportunity in that make that truck a damn asset that is loved and high value i love that man you
know i'm not exposed in sandbox very much at all um and not by any reason other than just i haven't like
properly done the deep deep dive there's yeah and and when you say things like that and i hear other
people say things like that i'm like i just want to learn more and get and and do this right i've been
so focused on just you know keeping this alive and getting the foundation set and involving as many
community members as i can in the in the grassroots that um i haven't done the full exploration of
what this looks like in in the sandbox and obviously we have some dev team here we have some talent
that's ready to build something that would be an mvp uh in this capacity uh i just need to have the
right conversations there so um yeah i don't know what the next step was on that gee but but i'd love to
do this and and i'd love your support on it and and help making it happen that'd be really really cool

because um you can get walked off some cliffs like you don't want um a lot certain people behind the

talking about in the metaverse as well and letting everyone have access in any part of the metaverse
and put their already put their messaging and be able to have free speech wherever we go right
this is an important part of you know of civilization is free speech and um and that's what we're looking
to do and we did it through these experiments through conferences and coming up we did one at denver a
couple months ago it was amazing and this one's tripling the size we have over a thousand people engaged at
this next activation next week we have the main screen at the official front entrance to the entire nfc
lisbon venue when you walk into the nfc venue the first thing you see when you enter that area is
the screen you see our big giant screen right in front of you and it can have your art on it and
there's no cost to that it's a free uh off option for the community to involve everyone and it's all
supported by the ape coin dow it's my aip 383 and it's a it's a collaboration you can see it's an
ecosystem collaboration of of apes of mutants of kennels of uh of obviously the ape coin doubt of of

details on the long term here so everything nothing's official yet everything's just in
discussion but there's a long-term trajectory and some really interesting interest from you know
powerhouses in the ecosystem both in web3 and outside of web3 because this is like something that
bridges the gap between the real world and this crazy crypto world we live in too so it's uh
man it just gets me excited i've been wanting to do this for so long

like this where there's a decentralization of the programming right like we're all submitting our stuff
right here and then you're able to like get it buffed or nerfed by your participation engagement
with mean brains here of course mean brain is going to get exceptionally busy as we all do
and get less and less time and more institutionalized and not be here we all see that happening one day
but um in the meantime and in between time i think you know we could build structures in and i've talked
to mean brains about this about in the past how that supports what they are doing very much because the
idea like we saw it with the portal right that's all over you know news not just the timeline with
the portal with dublin and um new york and how that became like profoundly interesting as an art uh
thing and so the the what i'm getting at here is that we as community and someone like grateful
who's at all these events working in concert with mean brains and then with the outreach and
the community that grateful has and their black book they can say like yo we're going to do this flash
event mean brains going to be there we're going to have photographers there we're going to freaking
bring the media there right like and we're just going to go hard on this one pull up they're going
to pull up and the timing like they just said can be you know organized into this and once you start
to program things like that you're entering in the realm of like what we do in motion pictures
with our preferred partners and comic-con and all this you know where we something a set piece
that i designed like the um the purple limo i called it the thanos limo if you've seen descendants
three the disney picture um i designed that limo and that was designed with the idea that i would
push for that to be the thing that people pulled up at a comic-con right and so um that's what i'm
bullish on this year right here all of us working together and just making this decentralized uh
everybody's valued and we can all sort of make the tapestry together i'm freaking bullish on that so uh
love this and uh really want to get together with grateful mean brains other people and just work out
