Good morning.
Started here in just a second, we've got our speakers up, a couple people join in, and
then we'll kick it off.
What's up, brand man?
Hey, waffles.
Can you hear me?
You sound great.
I can hear you.
You can hear me?
Am I far?
No, you sound good.
Okay, okay.
Well, it was busy.
I've been volunteering at a tax repair, like volunteer things.
So I spent like a big chunk of my day there.
Um, and then I was like, okay.
And then, um, I had a lot with a couple of my friends and they brought over some food.
So we just hung out and we were catching up on Demon Slayer.
Oh, nice.
The anime?
Very cool.
Very cool.
And then after that, like we had like another one of our friends come over and then we
watched, um, this TV show on Netflix called Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
That's hilarious.
We were like, when, how did we sleep on the show?
It was a great show.
All right.
I see some more people streaming in.
I see Christia.
Let's see.
I'll see.
Let's get them up here.
Uh, it's Mike.
Mike almost always comes, comes up first.
I'll see.
Christia.
Let's request up and I'll bring you up.
I miss you.
Hey, Christia.
Hey, I'll see.
How are you guys?
Can you hear me well?
Uh, it's, uh, yeah.
All right.
Joseph Soto and Dost.
Hey, we're waiting on a jokes cam, right?
You can't see Brooklyn.
Nine was really, really great.
I thought it was just fucking hilarious.
I had my favorite.
Like season two.
Oh, awesome.
I think my favorite episode so far is the going full boil.
it's only because I know some people are that are like that.
Let me send an invite to ghost cam.
Thank you for joining us guys.
I have Dua just joined in, Cease of Prosperity just joined in, who else, Joseph, Derivativador,
Derivativador.
Just comes in, she just needs to speak.
Oh, perfect. Okay, perfect.
Yeah, I invited her up, I think it worked.
Cane just joined, Joel, or I don't know how to pronounce...
I think it's Joel, I heard saying say Jolie.
If it's too, I'm thinking it's, yeah, it's Jolie.
I fell on the booty holder.
I got the wax wifus.
There we go.
Did that work, Ghostcam? I think so.
Right, hell yeah, okay, bitchin'.
Alright, everybody, let's go ahead and just kick off, now we're a few minutes behind,
but this would be a nice relaxing and chill space, so allow me to kick it off.
Good morning, wax.
I am excited to kick off our Wax Wednesday space featuring a handful of the wonderful women in our blockchain,
so I've been looking forward to this space all month, and I can't wait to get started.
I said all my prayers this morning, performed many rituals so that we could have a smooth set of Twitter spaces today without any technical drama,
so if you haven't already, please retweet the room so we can spread the word that we're getting started,
and I invite everyone to join us for discussion, right?
So kick back, relax, and we'll hear from our guests.
So, if you don't need, I'm trying from wax, but please allow me to introduce our speakers.
Introducing first, Waffles Kitty, aka Sarah Han, is commonly seen around here in the wax community as the co-founder of Enethtopia
and creator of the Waffles Kitty collection on wax.
She started in blockchain with Splinterland, which I think a lot of people know is a popular hive blockchain game.
After being affected by layoffs and with the help of the community, she was able to keep afloat and create Enethtopia and her own NFT collection.
Outside of blockchain, she is a CEO of the Republic, a freelancer, and in school working on a tax preparer certification.
For fun, she enjoys karaoke, origami, playing games, and sleeping. Welcome, welcome, Waffles.
Thank you so much.
All right.
I know it's like a lot.
No, it's not that much at all. It's like port sentences are good. It's a lot packed into port sentences to be sure.
All right.
So next, Christia is a content creator and streamer who actively collaborates with various communities.
Currently, she is a proud member of the 3DK Render Guild and a gold ambassador for wax.
Beyond the blockchain, she graduated with a degree in computer engineering and discovered her passion for digital marketing.
Welcome, Christia.
Did we lose her from the speakers?
Don't tell me she got ragged.
All right.
Well, I think she'll be right back in.
Our next guest, Ghost Cam, is the creator of the wax waifus, but also the official co-artist for CryptoMonkeys on wax.
So you might know her from spaces, digital conventions, or live streams.
Thanks to her love of simply drawing IRL, she dived into digital art in July of 2022, created her own collection on Ethereum, and did a bunch of commissioned art.
After one year of gathering experience in digital creation, she started her own collection on wax, the wax waifus.
They combined her love of art with the purpose of community building on wax.
She is doxed, she's unified, and has an old giant Great Dane named Ghost.
And she loses coffee mugs.
Sleep is her favorite hobby.
Ghost Cam, welcome.
I just had to find my coffee mug.
I have it.
I have it.
We can start.
I'm ready.
You left your coffee mug again.
All right.
And then our last panelist, and certainly not our least, Alsy Tu, got her start on wax in the mid-2021 with Alien Worlds, and then dove right in from there.
Joining as many communities as she could find.
After the start of 2022, she realized a need to educate others on how to do their own research on projects and games.
And then she also started sharing methods and write-ups with the community.
Lately, she's been taking more of a back seat, but you can still find her sharing her love for wax on X, sharing her journey on wax through her NFT collection, The Wax Sojourner, and giving tips on her medium page as D20 on wax.
It's also a YouTube page, I think.
Alsy, thank you for joining today.
Thank you for having me.
Absolutely.
All right.
So if you're listening in the audience, we wanted to create a fun and interactive space.
So if you're a woman creating on wax and want to participate, share a thought or comment, please raise your hand.
We'll be bringing up folks throughout the space.
If you've got a question, raise your hand and we'll bring you up.
So with that, let's go ahead and get into it.
I think I'm going to throw this first one.
I'm going to throw it to Christia.
She's rejoining.
Yeah, you know, she might have lost power.
Oh, no, no.
I spoke too soon.
I spoke too soon.
All right.
Are you back?
I'll come back.
I'm sorry.
No, it's not your fault.
I hope that it'll be the only thing today.
Christia, I wanted to start this first question to you and then we'll go to hear from our other panelists as well.
How did you first discover wax?
Was there a particular moment or a particular aspect of it that kind of caught your attention and drew you in?
So, yeah, I started in what's like, I think, almost four years, three or four years.
Oh, my God.
Time flies.
But in particular was because I was I hear about alien wars, that little game.
And I started to play in alien wars, like just when the initial tools and all that.
And then I I get grown inside again.
And then I figure it out that there was no Spanish speaker because I'm a Spanish speaker talking about needing alien wars or what's in general.
And I want to like try to share that with everyone.
So I tried to create videos and guys and in YouTube for all about alien wars and how to set up a wallet on what's.
And what school wallet, how to use atomic hook and all that.
And yeah, and that's how I started.
And for that, I started to create more content about any collections of a new games and I started like going into the community and I fell in love with everything here.
And here I am.
So I'm I'm very happy to to to have the chance to meet that game.
I didn't want to bring me here.
Yeah, I think some of your your threads are very in depth, especially on X and reading those helps me get a quick primer for whatever project you're looking out ever gain you're covering to very thorough.
Yeah, I like to make like a easy content so people can digest fast and start playing or just start just like educate in a fast way.
That's that's the goal.
So I'm very happy that I had a lot of followers now and people I enjoy my content every day.
And I feel really lucky to be here, to be honest.
Thank you for each one of you that always give me a like, retweet and see all my contacts in every platform. So, thank you each one of you.
We're happy to have you here.
We'll also go to Elsie. How did you guys get started?
Does anyone want to go first or second?
I'll go. I'll go first.
But before I start, I just, I want to express, you know how thankful I am to be here to be invited back. This is like my third year here. So it's kind of like hanging out with old friends because Christia has been here with me before as well.
So, happy to be here.
But for me, when I first found WAX, I was on vacation and the summer of 21 and I was looking into NFTs and researching some crypto projects and I came across an article about Axie Infinity and some other games on Polygon.
And then there was like a paragraph in there about alien worlds and WAX and I went to go dig into it and see what was going on there.
And I found some projects and started like trying out some of the games, but it wasn't until September of that year that I really like dove into everything.
I got into like Forsaken was my first big community that I was involved in and I really enjoyed like seeing how they grew from the start and being a part of that.
But yeah.
Well, for me WAX came to me.
I started out working as an event coordinator with Splinterlands, the Hive blockchain community, and we were hosting events and during that event called Digicon, a bunch of WAX creators started popping in after I believe Digicon 4 and around Digicon 3.
And I know Splinterlands also has some other NFTs on the WAX blockchain as well, and I didn't know that much about WAX or even blockchain in general, but you guys came to find me first.
And I got to meet a lot of really amazing people and I'm happy to be here.
So, yeah, WAX was an accident.
There was a page, I don't even know if that service still exists, I think it was called Pink Sales or something you could invest into projects before they launch on any exchanges and help them basically build the first liquidity to do that.
And at some point I must have done that with WAX and actually I still can't remember when or why or like what I did there, but I discovered it at some point and then I didn't know like what to do with it.
The bull one was actually already over, I wanted to hold onto it and then I discovered crypto monkeys and I was impressed that there are actually communities that support others, like free distribution.
It was existing, like really existing.
And communities that stood together, like Ludies, Headstickers, Mikey Mike, communities that are around since a long time and create on a constant base and live because of the community and that impressed me so much that I actually wanted to stay.
And in the end, it turned out that the experience as a collector is like way nicer on WAX than I have ever experienced it on like Ether, Polygon, Solana, whatever.
So, yeah, I decided to move my art to WAX and here I am now.
I love that it was a happy accident that brought you in here and you mentioned the community is kind of the reason to stay.
That's going to lead into my next question.
I'm going to pitch it to Alcy first.
Was it that initially just made you decide to stay? Was it community like with Ghostcam or was it something else?
I know you mentioned kind of making a desire to educate.
So it was for me, it was community that really sucked me in, I guess.
Like I mentioned, I started out in Worsaken and they were big on community.
They were building their community and it really resonated with me in the way that they built everything out because it wasn't just about helping their own user base and learn about their game or whatever their project was.
But they were also teaching people about WAX and how to use blockchain.
And then they were branching out with other communities. They had partner communities.
So I was going and exploring some of those, which were also focused on educating in their community, like Neon Space and NFT Game or some other communities.
That was their big focus back then, was making sure that their communities were safe and engaging with the space properly, I guess.
I don't know, not rigging people, stuff like that.
So that really became my focus, becoming a bigger part of those communities and trying to help with that mission of educating people.
I guess becoming a part of those communities is what really has kept me here all the time. All these years.
Years. Crazy.
Yeah, it's like, I think, come for whatever reason you come for, but then the community kind of grabs you.
And that's something I've seen across a different, not just here, but across different games and people I interact with too.
Christia, Waffles, do you have anything to add there as well?
What was it that kind of grabbed you and made you stick?
Go to Waffles first. That's OK.
Yeah. Honestly, I had so much fun talking, especially to people like Nuno, who was at Digicon, literally setting up camp there with me and talking for like over 24 hours, just being inside the metaverse.
And we're just talking about random stuff all the time, but we couldn't stop.
So, yeah, well, I like to be here and just sharing with our community and always trying to like trying to help everyone that I can here and trying to light some projects that I think they are really, really good for the community.
I'm just really happy to be here and be able to do what I really, like, really love and be able to like work in that.
Yeah, I'm really, really, really happy for that. And I expect that everyone can enjoy to be here in our community and our community can grow more.
That's that's the goal.
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, it's I think it's something that's hard to grow when it's quiet and blockchain or quiet in that crypto space.
But I think things are things definitely heating up. I know we talked a little bit off off call.
I know my next question is more going to be towards like some of the products you've worked on.
And I know almost all of you are heavily involved in multiple different projects. So I'll go Waffles first.
I know your main project, I believe, is an end of topia, the end of topia metaverse conference.
You want to share a little bit about that and also the the collection you built around Waffles Kitty.
Okay, so and if topia was born just used to the overwhelming amount of support I had from break man Tony trip and so many others.
Carly come up with the name and Digicon ended because I got laid off.
Thanks for not looking good. You guys all heard the news over the past two years.
And so after that, like the wax community was the first to reach out to me saying, hey, what's what's going on?
Like, what's going to happen next? Is there anything more going to happen?
We want more of these events because this is so fun.
And so that's how end of topia was born. And now we can wear more multi chain.
We still focus a ton on wax projects and just having a welcoming metaverse conference for the masses where we can learn at any level and connect with people and establishing genuine like connections.
And for for the Waffles K collection site, I am self-started by I'm like many other creators.
I delay forever because I'm like, I'm not ready and I know what to do.
And again, thanks to community in the wax community, I had drawn company. I had broken. I had break man.
I had, you know, everybody here to support me and give me ideas.
I still don't know how I want to do anything regarding like blends and stuff.
I know break man does it all the time. I've been looking at how drawing company does this stuff, broken everybody else so I can gather ideas.
And then I know I can always reach out to them and say the stupidest questions, but they'll be so kind about it.
So that's what. And then obviously, since I had so much time on my hands, when I was laid off, I was like, you know, let's just do it.
Like, even if I mess up, I'm just going to go for it.
So that's how I started the Waffles K collection.
So I started out making all of my art based on waffles and kitties or vice versa or an inspiration between each.
And then this year I'm doing them all based on memes.
And memes are definitely in season right now. I'll see.
I'll go to you next. You want to share a little bit with the wax sojourner and any other products that you're involved in right now?
Sure. So I haven't been involved in the same capacity as most of the women on the panel here.
They're like artists or community managers or creators.
Most of what I've been involved in like during my time here has been more of like, I don't know, I guess I would say a lone wolf.
I've modded in some communities and some of them I've had a greater role in in the past.
But now it's just mostly like my contribution to space is like doing.
I've done highlight series, weekly highlight series this past year, project reviews and giveaways.
But like with wax sojourner that I don't do as consistently as I would like, I guess.
I kind of dropped stuff as it hits me, like as I experienced things in crypto or in wax I had in January.
No, it was in February, I think was my last drop.
I did the red envelope drop for Chinese New Year, which I actually gave back wax.
So the people who purchased the NFTs, I gave them back like two times what they paid for them because I wanted to give appreciation to the people who supported me during this time.
But things like that, like before that, I did a drop when I did join threads just because that was an interesting experience for me or like, you know, different things that just hit me at the moment.
But yeah, I guess I don't have anything super exciting coming up.
But most of my contributions to wax have been focused around, you know, promoting not in the traditional influencer way, I would say.
It's just like whatever inspires me at the moment when I'm trying to think of a way to highlight different creators on wax in ways that other people maybe haven't done already.
I like how you would describe how the inspiration kind of takes you and helps grow the or helps you lead you to what you're creating.
Ghostcam, I know as an artist, like how does the inspiration kind of hit you when you're working on the waifus, or if you want to like share with maybe a crypto monkeys as well.
I'm sorry, my German. Okay, everyone can laugh now and it's totally recorded.
I started digital drawing actually to help so the apple pie back then she was injured her like hand was seriously inflammation and she actually couldn't hold a pencil for more than an hour and how shall you produce things that you promised if you can't do it.
So, like, she, I didn't ask her, she didn't ask, I just like tried and offered what I made. And because I like had a lot of requests for the things that I had done in real life, I started to transfer them to digital art, then I made commissions for PFPs and things like that and I actually use it as training.
So I am very good with sticking to a given thing like crypto monkeys has a specific mini fight theme and stuff you have to stick with that the art style has to be exactly the same it doesn't like it is absolutely a no go that you see who made what basically in like line work or whatever.
This needs a lot of like training and just redoing things so I learned with time to listen to what people want and like to pick up the small hints and all the stuff and then I create the cards that they wanted or for like waifus I remember after we dropped the PFP tier one they like express they like would like to want heads or to see heads and
express a few things that they would like to see and to have and to collect so I like made these for the tier three one I would say most of my inspiration actually comes from outside by like listening and figuring out what people would like mean with that or I just like pick up something and then I think it would look cool
like this way or that way and then I invest a crazy amount of time to see if I can make it look that way.
I think that feedback is real important, especially if you're like you said you had to practice and practice practice kind of absorb that style, so it would be not.
So you could tell that it was all it was consistent.
I like I like that a lot.
Kristaia, I know that you're the part of 3DK Render and with their flagship RataQuest is like a big part of what you're working on. Would you like to share a little bit about how you got involved with that and some of the contributions you made there?
Yeah, sure. So yeah, so I'm part of 3DK Render. We are one of the top 21 product producers for the Watts blockchain.
So if you had Watts state, please vote for us.
One of our products at RataQuest is a trading card game and we really are making a really I think like a really enjoyable game.
People can play actually play the game and collect cards and play minigames.
People love to play the gems games and stuff, collect the art.
We had all the art that we had in the game are made by artists, not AA or nothing like that.
We are artists that make really, really good job making the art.
Yeah, I'm part of everything that and I'm really happy to be sharing everything with you guys and also on Watson Basel and try always trying to help every community and any games.
And I also make streams if you want to stay interested, you can join me.
And I also part of the NFTOPIA with Waffle Skitty and Blackman and Pulsos.
We are making. Yeah, I'm really, I'm really happy to be part of any projects that I can here on the consistent trying to help.
Yeah, that's everything that I do. It's a lot of work, but I'm really happy to make all that work and see how the community is growing.
The community likes our stuff that we make. So yeah, it's a lot of work, but it pay off. I'm really happy.
It is a lot of work.
I can attest to that. I've seen how much you do and it's it's mind-boggling a bit for me. I don't know how you get it all done.
Yeah, well, sleep is over, right?
Oh, my next question. I wanted to ask, like, is there any standout experiences or achievements from your time on wax that you want to highlight?
I'm going to start with Alcee and then we'll go to Ghostcam Waffles, Christia.
OK, so for me, probably my most like personally fulfilling experience I've had here or experiences I've had are times that I've spent getting information about the OIG elections out into space.
Because for me, knowing how the chain you interact with and how it functions and participating in the governance of it is an important part of crypto life.
I know a lot of people get overwhelmed by that information, so I try to break it down so people understand it better.
And then outside of that, like, the time that I've spent as a wax ambassador has helped me really stretch past my comfort zone to kind of expose myself to projects or tech that I probably wouldn't have engaged with in the past.
And all the connections I've made during that time have become really important to me, like, an integral part of my life in the space.
So some of my strongest relationships here grew out of the work I've done since I became an ambassador.
And I'd say, like, both of us seeing those work on OIG elections and the initial wax ambassador program have been really fulfilling for me and a big impact in my life here.
Awful. Is there anything you'd like to highlight as well?
Oh, I thought Ghostcam was going first.
Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
No, Waffles first. Waffles first. Waffles first.
Just before we go, I'm going to comment too. I'll see. I know that I met you through, I think, ambassador program as well.
And I've enjoyed watching you kind of grow and I've enjoyed watching you kind of mold the D20 on wax as you've been growing it up.
So it's been enjoyable and I've enjoyed watching it. And I'm excited with where you go next.
Waffles, Kitty.
I have too many fun times being with y'all. So it's kind of hard to pinpoint one.
I guess if we go with, like, one of the times that it would be like when I first started my Waffles Kitty collection on wax.
And I had a lot of marketing help and support from everybody in the community to help me, like, figure things out.
And then after I figured out that I just wanted to try doing stickers, I tried on my first one.
And it, like, sold out. And I was just, like, kind of, like, amazed. But also, like, I did not expect any of that to happen.
And I'm just very, like, thankful that people supported me through this whole journey and continue to support me.
And I hope to, like, keep producing some good stuff for you guys. Obviously, I need a lot of inspiration because there's so many things going on.
But I definitely think just the first step in, like, starting my project was the hardest, like everybody says.
And that really stood out to me, like, how much support I received and then how much I was able to be successful in that.
And then on top of that, how much I have been encouraged to keep going.
I think the WAX community is very supportive and can definitely, like you said, just kind of help you along where you're going.
Ghostcam, is there anything, is there any, like, one or two or something major that you'd like to highlight or a favorite achievement from your time here?
Favorite achievement. Like, I met my fiancé on WAX, actually. We, like, run WAX Waifus together.
He does the audio stuff, like, he mixes the music for my NFTs.
Yeah, like, for me, it really impressed me most. I have to say that was actually the creation of WAX Waifus.
Like, coming up with an idea just, like, for art's sake and seeing where it leads to.
And now we have an ongoing collab with Tech, the adventurer's guild.
And, like, I am, like, stuck at 6 p.m. fangirl. He's, like, actually a hero.
He created, like, honeycomb and tech and a bunch of other things.
And, like, he's, it's always impressive to see what people create.
Like, I'm throwing out an idea and someone is like, oh, I would like to have it that way and this way.
And then someone jumps on it and suddenly we have an NFT tip bot.
Like, that's actually super cool. The experiences I collected are not a thing that I could pinpoint in a certain, like, point in time.
I would actually say it's the people, like, I met all the things that we created that, like, this idea of the sweeping fund.
Like, saying we dedicate 20% of all primary sales, whatever it is, to a fund that we use to sweep other artists that our community voted on.
So we don't decide it. Like, they decide what they want to have.
And then we distribute the NFTs we swept back to the holders.
So it's, like, so cool to see how it actually, like, started to grow by itself because it had a solid foundation and, like, an honest idea behind it.
Something that, like, Arcy said, like, isn't meant to be a rug pull or a cash grab or whatever.
But an actual attempt to connect artists and people and give them a chance to, like, reach out to each other without having to build a shilling platform,
which I, like, hate so much. So I really think it's about the people. And that is, in the end, the only thing that, like, keeps you around.
And that makes it worth doing it because, like, Christia said, it's just a fuckton of work every week.
Like, I started with no experience and now release weekly. So it's consuming so much time.
And if you don't want to do it, you can't, like, do it. It's not a sprint. It's a marathon.
And I think we're doing actually a really good job. And I want to express my respect for Waffles and Arcy and Christia for what they are doing for years already.
That's amazing. You girls are amazing.
Yeah, absolutely. I would say that, yeah, a highlight of meeting your fiancé would definitely be a highlight that I would remember.
Well put. Christia?
OK, yeah, it's my turn. Yeah. Well, I had two moments.
The first one will be when we release our game, a real quest, because I see all the work, the hard work that we make live and people enjoy it again, play it again.
And we have a lot of players that it's like really satisfied to see all the hard work live.
So that will be the first moment, important moment, because we were so helpful to release the game.
And the people actually been playing the game that is really mind-blowing.
So that will be my first moment. And my second moment will be when I get my ambassador budget, my goal ambassador budget,
because let you guys know, I don't know how much work is to create content and create really good content.
And content that people can really relate, share, love, read is really hard to make.
And to be able to make all that and get in that budget was really, really a lot of work. And I'm really proud of that.
That's amazing. Because you do both English and Spanish. That's double the work.
Yeah, that's double the work. Yeah, I was trying to like my YouTube videos are in the Spanish, but I always try to make them with English subtitles.
So that's one more cape or work there. And I was trying to read my articles, write my articles in English and also trying to share everything in English and Spanish,
because the goal is like bring, trying to bring people in Spanish communities to hear to watch and also like entertain and give information to our English community.
So it's a lot of work, but I'm really proud of everything. And I'm really, really happy to be here. And I hope to be here for more years.
And I'm really happy to do all the work. And now we have more and more and more stuff coming here to ecosystem.
We have more events, more people. And yeah, I hope that we can grow more and keep working and making an amazing job because the community in general is doing an amazing job.
And we are supporting each other. And that's the goal. I think that's the key of our community. So yeah, that will be.
Yeah, I agree. It was definitely a pleasure and a treat watching like, you know, not just like the pre-emasters stuff when I came in, but even was working with you with your wax hub and reading all of the threads really.
I got to know you and stuff. It was really rewarding, I thought, for me too.
So thank you for that. Plus, and not only that, you're doing it in two languages, which, yeah, that's not. I wouldn't even be able to stand up for that.
My ad is off. Yeah, sometimes my brain is like a given little truck in there with the two labels, but I make happen.
All right. And then this will be kind of like my last like watching focus question. It'll be about the projects.
And then for anyone listening below, if you have questions you'd like to ask our panelists or if you want to comment and come up and share as well.
As a woman of wax, please go ahead and raise your hand. We'll be inviting guests up as well.
But for my last question for everybody, I'm going to throw this to Ghostcam first.
Are there any upcoming developments or news in your new projects that you want to shout out on something you're excited about or something that you want to share with our audience here today with the community?
Yeah, so like actually a few things like right now we are still having our Pixel waifu drop for you this weekend since it's like Easter.
We also dropped something super cheap on Easter and our waifu cosplay is released on the 31st.
I can't leak the theme or I actually can because we had already three correct guesses.
So this time it's like Disney villains. I adapt my characters from popular media into our art.
I don't know. Maybe our main account can like share a picture of one of them.
And we are, like I said, having this constant call up with the Adventurer's Guild.
So I'm also working with Stark on like your own PFP thingy.
I am planning to do it in a way that the traits that you own can be used to create your own MST that you can mint in the end if you want to without having to burn them.
Yeah. And because of that, I'm also like helping out with like Betsy things, I hope. So I'm very excited to see how that will work out to see maybe like some waifu stuff on Betsy.
And yeah, besides that, like we're always open to call up with other artists with projects.
We are about community. We're about connecting. We are like giving to our holders. We're giving to other artists, to other projects.
If people wanted the like purpose is to connect each other and to collect something beautiful. So like keep your eyes peeled for the pink eggs.
Thank you, Goskem.
I'll see. Do you want to go next?
Sure, I'll go next. But for me, like, I guess my I don't have anything super exciting on the horizon, but for me, I'm going to work on being more consistent with my NFTs and dropping them more frequently.
I had like a little break there, but I want to drop some at least once a month and build up some more community support.
But in terms of like the WAX ecosystem, there's another OIG election coming up soon. So I'll probably be out there talking about that.
And I'm excited to see what's going to happen with Wolfie when that gets out there, especially since meme coins are starting to explode again on other chains.
But outside of that, I guess like I'm pretty excited about Antopia and where they're going with the virtual conferences they've been holding. I was one of those people who was really concerned about what was going to happen when Digicon like threw in the towel.
But seeing where Waffles and their team has taken it has been pretty amazing. Like she had the best dance parties and I wanted to make sure those dance parties kept going on and she's kept them up.
And they've really involved WAX creators and empowered them in ways that didn't feel like was happening when Digicon was there. So kudos to them.
And I'm also super excited to see where Ghostcam's art goes in the future. I've been following that and everything going on with Radiquest. So thank you.
Thank you, Alison.
I'll be waiting for your tweets for the OIG so I can retweet those.
I believe Waffles.
Yeah, also happening today. Well, right after we figure out when we want to stop over here, but we'll also have a WAX Drop calendar space right after this.
So check out the the NFTopia account and then you'll just join us. We're also going to have a stream. Thank you so much, Breakman, for managing the stream.
So he's like multi-platform every time now and he saved us so many times because we were rubbed by Twitter.
So now we have a stream. We're also in the metaverse. All the information on the drop list that we're going to be talking about is on our announcements in the NFTopia Discord.
And then also in three more days on Saturday, we're going to have our awesome NFTopia school, our third session out of four total.
It includes a pre-party with Breakman, then we've got NFTopia school drawn company, then an open creator roundtable talk.
And then we'll be going on with a list of creators that Breakman organized with Hive Blockchain, talking about Banks, Futures Relic, Winter Vision, and I think it was Tricky Creations. Yes.
And if you don't know, if you're listening, you haven't heard, if you have a drop coming out, it's hashtag waxdrop, right? Is the hashtag for picking that up so you can get included?
Just in case you miss signing up to the forum. Punch me in the head if I'm wrong.
No, no, no. Yeah, perfectly fine. Yes, yes, yes. We also have a drop calendar channel on our Discord and then you can always just let us know or just come up. So yeah.
Krista, do you want to talk about anything upcoming, perhaps with Radiquest or anything else that you are currently excited about in the ecosystem?
Yeah, so yeah, so Radiquest right now, we are on the middle of the collision or tournament on the round two. If you want to play the game, you can start playing the game right now.
And also tomorrow we had the Radiquest Loto. We are making some fun lotos where people can buy some tickets and get amazing rewards by making a Radiloto.
And I'm drawing the winner's life on the Radiquest at second. So it's fun. And also, we are going to release new functions in the game, a new place, a new function.
So that I'm pretty much excited about that because people will be able to make them like their own guilds and we make some groups of people and they can start playing with their groups of friends.
You can wrap your friends, make your guild and all that. So that is going to be really, really, really fun for the functions in the game.
And inside that, all the events, the NFTOP events that Wofford already mentioned. And remember that I make streams every week.
And next week we are going to be having some special surprises, so it's going to be fun. I think I'm done.
Yeah, I'm excited for the guild update too. I'm looking forward to that for Radiquest.
All right. The next one is to have a kind of, not really blockchain oriented, more to get to kind of know more about you.
Also, I know that you've got a time limit, so just interrupt me and drop off whenever you need to.
We did have one question come in from our listeners. Let me grab that really quick.
It came in, let's see.
Derivative Adore asked, blockchain always runs great and atomic hub is easy to use for new users.
What do our panels think about the importance of great platforms such as atomic hub and AlcorXchange?
Or any comment?
That's a good question. So I think that exchanges like Alcor and marketplaces like atomic hub are really great for adoption of a blockchain.
They're very tight UIs. And for the most part, the user experience is really great.
A little bit lately with atomic hub, it's still a little touchy, but I think it's a good starting point for people coming into the space to go into those two particular like Alcor and atomic hub just to start getting their feet wet and learning how to trade in a space.
And then, you know, if they're joining up to communities, they'll find other places like NFT hive, NFT blocks, and there's other exchanges or aggregators that are on the chain as well like, you know, taco swap you could use.
So, yeah, like, I think they're really helpful for people that are just coming into the space and want to see where they're going. That's my personal opinion.
Well, if I can talk about that. Yeah. So I think to bring more people to us, we need easy and clear tools.
And I see the atomic hook and Alcor are really like user interface really easy. People when they're joined, they can easily see everything that they need to do if they want to buy a token, if they want to buy an NFT.
So I think atomic hook and Alcor are really good tools for people that want to come to us. They're easy to use, easy to start using, even if we already see the atomic who has some some problems sometimes this week.
But I think we need like that. We need tools that are easy so people can start joining, start spending, start buying an NFT and just integrate into the community.
And I think atomic hook and Alcor are making a really good job. Alcor has new features right now that are really, really, really cool.
Like everything that you can do with USDT that makes people more easy to buy and sell watts in an easy way. So I think they're pretty good for user interface.
That's my opinion.
I agree. I think the UI is very nice. It's not super complicated. It's easy to find stuff, especially if you play with it for a little bit.
Those are both good, great answers.
Yeah, like I have experience because of like crypto monkeys with all kinds of people, people who never touched any kind of crypto or NFTs before, like waffles can actually say like how we swap.
Yeah, yeah.
One of the first ones I was like, well, this is for free. Really? How does it work? And tell me more. And there's tons of articles and tons of support on how to get started.
And I like tried to implement that like with waffles. We have an onboarding section for that. And like I actually made it to pull people over from other chains who are like, I know everything up to like, I've always buy my ether with Moonpay on like OpenSea or there are other ways.
So it's like actually cool to see that if you write them a guide, if you provide a video and again, Christia, your like tutorials are super cool. Your like write ups are so handy. It's so helpful.
The same goes for I've seen him a bit earlier, White Flag. They like the community build a complete Hispanic page with tutorials and everything for onboarding people to wax for getting into crypto monkeys for explaining all kinds of things around that ecosystem.
It's amazing what the community is building. And that is the thing that you don't find anywhere else. And wax provides so many tools for that with Elcor and Atomic Hub because it's so clean and easy to use that like it's actually a nice onboarding experience.
And I've sent people like from elsewhere to wax and over waxed to elsewhere and it always worked pretty smoothly, which I never experienced anywhere else.
I think everybody here is way more knowledgeable about me than me about all of the useful tools. I've only mainly used Atomic Hub, NFT Hive and NFT blocks.
I would have to defer to everybody else, but it's amazing that there are so many tools out there that's available for people to get onboarded and learn how to access the ecosystem and interact with each other.
And people are very, very creative in how they match each and every one of their collections.
Like I said, with Consumer Break, with Broken Dolls, and Drawn Company, each of them use different ways. And even Carly, with the Wax Wolves, they have their own token that they use.
That is also an NFT. So there's just a plethora of tools and ways to use each tool to get to where you want to be.
Shout out to Carly, who wasn't able to join us today. I know they've been having some issues with their internet this morning.
Shout out to her. She's always been very approachable and friendly and she's helped me as well. She's always behind the scenes helping everybody.
And Derek is so knowledgeable too.
Derek was my first friend from Twitter on Wax for sure. Yeah, I love them both. They're both great.
But all right, enough hearing about me. I'm glad you talked about me. So let me ask this next question. This is a little bit not really blockchain focused, the next handful of questions.
So Waffles, I'll go to you first.
Where do you typically find inspiration, whether you're working on wax or if you're working on something else? Where do you get your information from to help you be creative?
I like to say it starts with my brain rotting by doom scrolling and like just kind of going on all of the social media channels, like just going through everything.
Or we have, you know, random chats. Doesn't matter where. It could be in a general chat. It could be just like on Discord chat, whatever.
We're spitballing ideas that come to mind and you can go to anybody probably in this entire space and ask them what they think about XYZ and you'll get everything you need to help you decide on what you want to do next.
I already mentioned like my like pillars like, you know, big man drawing company, broken dolls, Carly. If they don't come up with something with me, puzzles will bring something up to me.
Christia will be like, oh, this would be cute. Or Ghostcam would be like, we need this. Or, you know, I'll see. We'll just post something. I'm like, oh, okay, I can use that, you know.
I also do the doom scrolling in my free time. Yeah, I'll go through all that stuff. And that's where I get some of my inspiration, too.
But it's great to see all the posts everybody puts up. And also I'm going to hijack this because I have to drop off in a moment. So I really want to answer the question about advice for people.
So I'll do that quickly and then I'm going to leave. But I probably said something similar to this last time I was here, but I'm going to say it again.
With all the women in this space and just people in this space in general, don't limit yourself. If you want to learn to code, you can do it. If you want to create art or write, you can find a way to do it.
It's such a big community. If you need support, you can reach out to any of us. You can reach out to other people in the community.
And networking is such an important thing in life for everybody. Most of the time when you get a job in real life or you find a commission or somebody picks up your creations is because someone else has told them about you.
So it's important to cultivate those connections. But also, it's important to be gentle with yourself and not to take criticism as anything other than feedback from people in this space.
Even if it seems like it's negative and really directed, you can find something in that that's a positive or you can maybe change your perspective.
So try not to take things personally. As I see sometimes people will do in this space and try not to care about what other people think about you because this is like one of the biggest weaknesses I think people have here.
So wanting to be liked by everyone. And I think it's something maybe women worry more about than men do. Like, do I deserve to be here? Do I belong here? Does this person like me or appreciate me? And those are questions we shouldn't feel like we have to ask ourselves.
Ask ourselves, we should just be in this space because we deserve to be. And because we're as much a part of the world as everyone else and our thoughts and our ideas are as valid and valuable as everyone else.
So don't limit yourself by worrying about what other people think about what you're doing. And that doesn't mean like you can't defend yourself if you're being attacked by people. Certainly like if that happens, there's nothing wrong with setting the record straight and speaking your truth.
But don't let yourself get stuck and wondering if people are going to think about what I'm creating because then you'll just get stuck in the initial phases of creation. And that's all. That's all I wanted to say.
Thank you for having me here.
I'll see it's a pleasure and, you know, I'm always, you know, just hit me up for anything you need, as always, you know, it's always a pleasure to have you on and to share your knowledge and your money.
Yeah, that's really good advice. I'll see. Thank you so much.
Okay, I'm going to do the same because I got a client's appointment in a few minutes.
Yeah, like I always say without the connection to others, we are like a random assembly of atoms in the void. It's actually really people who make us become who we are.
Like when I started to create the tutorial art, I did a fan art piece. I was really, really proud of it. I still am. It's everything reminds me of, you know, like it's a drop on wakes. I know that LC has one.
And the original piece was minted and I like got so much criticism from one specific person, although the people I made it for really liked it, that I felt so insecure that I wanted to quit everything.
I saw Soggy Apple pie a bit earlier. She actually reached out to me and told me not to give up, that the art is amazing, that the like 50 hours on stream to watch it come to existence are worth that it exists and that this person like shouldn't affect everything I want to do.
That's what my fiance always tells me. But like, I'm like, if you look up imposter, there's a picture of me.
So like, I'm like super, super afraid all the time to do something wrong, to disappoint people, not to live up to their experiences. And like, it's a bit ridiculous.
But when I watched that Barbie movie, and she's having that speech that she's sick of seeing how everyone like tears themselves apart just to be liked.
That it's like ridiculous, because it doesn't matter. In the end, it really doesn't matter. You have to live with yourself and the people you like and the people you want to interact with.
And if you like let others that actually don't matter affect yourself so much that you want to throw everything away that you like created or that you build or that you were proud of.
Then, like, you need someone to show you that you're more than what anyone thinks about you because on every like asshole who like thinks you're not worth anything because you're a woman or you're black or you're transgender or you're like gay.
Whatever it is the problem, it's their problem. It's not a phobia, they are just like idiots. And like very with a very small horizon, usually that's often a point.
So it doesn't matter what other people think about you. If you think it's worth it, and if you want to do it, like really want to do it, then go for it. Just try it.
Go for it. And if you fail, then take it as one step closer to perfection, because no one could have done it better, or they would have tried.
So yeah, that's like my last thing. Support waffles like join the end of topia. It's really amazing to see how people connect there and you'll be like impressed how many people you meet there.
A shout out because I see it to plaid stickers, but I assume it's not sis or she can't speak because she's also a creator who's super active on wax for like years already.
And if you want to like hear something about them, I highly suggest inviting them. A shout out to Christia for her work. You're like amazing. And thank you, Tommy, for having us.
I go to prepare my appointment or I get in trouble. Thank you. Bye.
So much. It was a pleasure. Thanks for joining us today.
That was such a good work.
No one could have done better, or they would have tried. That was like really for sure.
Yeah, it's like really hard to be. It's still hard to be a woman in in this world. And more.
I'm watching. I'm watching. It's really hard. There are not many moments, but I can say that I always feel here and was really welcome.
I had everyone always like really supporting. So I think we are really blessing in our communities the best.
Extremely supportive. Yeah, I just love the love that we have for and we share for everybody.
And it's great that we can all come together and we have each of us doing our own thing, but we're still also still there for each other.
I felt like you were first, you do some stuff. I do some stuff. I'll see you also do some stuff because it has their drawing, their workflows.
And we compromised each one work. We individual, we make stuff. But together, we are really like making a lot together.
I know, definitely. Yeah, no complaints there, though.
Alrighty. So we kind of went out of order a little bit. So I'll skip that that advice. We've all given our advice, I think. Yeah.
But Sarah, do you want to say anything else about the advice? Sorry, I don't know what they said. Mike, drop. I always said it better.
Yeah, I was like, I can't, I can't say better. But I think we are really grateful to have this space, this woman.
This is like the third year that we had a woman in space on what I think. Yeah, I think it's the third year.
And yeah, it's really, it's really cool that we had our space and we can. And last year, we were less women. Now we had more people, more women coming to us.
And I hope that we had more women here because there are tons of work here that we can do and we can build together.
So I'm really like excited for the future. I hope we can get next year more women here.
Building here on what?
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. So I know we are a little bit over time and I don't want the next week to go too long. So this will be kind of the last, this will be the last question I have for you guys.
There was a comment from Xander. Xander says, my regards to all the women in the space. Big shout out. So thank you Xander for sharing that.
Thank you, Sandra.
Okay, so here's the last one. If you're not busy with blockchain projects, how do you like to relax? How do you like to unwind? What do you like to do?
Oh yeah, I can speak for a second. Yeah, well, I work every day. Oh my God. But when I have free time, because I do have free time people.
I do have free time. When I have my free time, I try to spend that quality time with my family and with my son and try to go to the beach and relax a bit, try a new cooking recipe, watch a movie, watch a series, maybe Netflix, something like that.
And just trying to find a balance between work and my family. And I also love to take photos of my dog. My dog is a pug. So I like to dress him up and take pictures of him, funny pictures. And he loves that.
Sometimes he goes through my screen and all that if you want to see my pug. Yeah, my pug is so cute. But that you're spending quality time with my family.
For me, I just do all the things all the time. But I do enjoy cooking. I feel like it's therapeutic, just like the process of cooking and then making something delicious.
And then other than that, I really like karaoke. Anyway, I've already mentioned some of it already before.
And I have to say that guafas really do well karaoke. Oh my gosh, it's like my other karaoke.
You sang last time at Anatolia too.
Yeah, you were singing and I was like, oh my God.
I can't even sing. I wish I could sing like you too.
I love not singing in Spanish, but oh my God, you blow my mind with your karaoke.
I want to sing in Spanish. I think I learned.
Besides that, I play League of Legends and people bag on me for that. But who cares? I only play Harmerdinger.
I'm a mastery 7 and I have over 3 million mastery points on it.
For the people I know, nobody has that many mastery points on anybody. So eat that.
But anyways, I also enjoy watching anime and TV shows and just being around everybody. I need to be around people.
Yeah, I think that one kind of line that's gone throughout the space is definitely community, being around people, reaching out with others.
I'm happy to hear that's maintained as well when you're not just in blockchain.
All right, I think we can wrap it up if that's all right with you.
Okay, cool. I know there's another space right after this to be part of. So let me just say, this has really been a pleasure for me today to be joined by both of you and our other speakers, Elsie and Ghostcam.
So let me first give you guys, all of you women, a big thank you for taking the time to help prepare and kind of get this sorted and organized so we can have the space today. So thank you so much.
Thank you. Before we go, is there any parting words you'd like to listen to or share with our listeners before we head over to the end of Topia Whackdrop space? Waffles?
This kind of goes into some of the advice, but don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think it's dumb or are even answered. And also we have a giveaway at the end of the end of Topia Whackdrop space for retreating our space and also using the hashtag whackstroptag in it. So see you guys there.
Well, if you have any questions, you want to talk to me, reach out to me, make a collaboration, anything I can help you. You can DM me on Discord here, whatever. And I always open to help. So yeah.
Thank you guys for being here. Thank you for coming, for making this happen. I love all Wednesday spaces and thank you guys for coming. I really appreciate it.
Sending love to y'all.
Thank you. So thanks to the two folks we had sharing thoughts as well and their questions that they dropped in the thread. We appreciate your support. But that is going to be it for our show.
Please stick around on Xspaces for the next one from NFTOPIA, Whackstrop space happening next from the NFTOPIA Twitter account. You see that start in just a moment.
And then tune in tomorrow for a special evening edition, Whackspaces on X. I will be interviewing the founders of Anani Mouse Games. We'll start tomorrow at 6 p.m. Pacific and that's 0100 UTC the following day.
So everybody take care of each other, Whacks. I'll see you next time and happy Whacks Wednesday. See you at the end of Topia Space. Bye.
