take I want to do some forecaster fucking spaces and then we're gonna do a

space what we're gonna do I think is we're gonna focus on the like in debt
like we're gonna focus on the like the speculative side when we do talk about
it during the like this is more of market space but here's what I want to
say here's what I want to say is alright you know if you've been listening to me

right so every once in a while I'll get really excited about something and when
I get really excited about something I kind of like can't think talk speak or
do anything else like at all like at all except for that one thing and we've had
this happen a couple times in this space there's been a few infamous topics that
I was obsessed with and we went really deep on and then we no longer talk
about them infamously friend tech being one of them I'm not afraid to say I was
fucking excited about friend tech okay I'm not afraid to say it I was fucking
excited about friend tech and I'll say this as well you know what's funny is
is is Dan the front forecaster references on a space or on a podcast I
friend I think friend tech is what it's all said and done is gonna be one of the
more like important crypto apps that happen like first absolute shit show
there's no way to like factor in the variable of like racer trying to nuke at
all but the concept absolutely and I think friend tech like when it's all
sudden done was a very important crypto application I think there's no way to
like cut it it doesn't mean it had to be long-term sick I mean Top Shot isn't
necessarily thriving right now but it's also one of the most important NFTs if
not the most ever I don't know about the most but it's up there I mean it's
fucking up there I'll tell you what here's here's here's my take on
forecaster like my quick take I promise you will not I'm not gonna talk about
for 30 minutes but here's my quick take if you're not on the platform I think
you are just like doing yourself a massive disservice because there's like
a fundamental understanding of what this is it is not a Twitter clone like it is
not it's not threats it is not fucking friend tech I promise you this is the
furthest thing from friend tech but there's look there's basically this
fucking social graph that is on chain of all your activity your followers who you
engage with what you do and it's basically open for anybody to build
anything on top of it and so like warpcast is built by far caster core
team and it's like the first like application on top of it but you can
imagine there could be hundreds there could be a YouTube client on top there
could be a spacious client there already is a spacious client on top you can
imagine that there'll be a friend tech client a social fight client on top like
they'll sort of be like unlimited things that can can be built on top you can
port transfer all your data over you don't lose your follower like if warpcast
the client like goes rogue and you get like censored and error like suspended
you don't like lose your followers you just go to another platform sign in with
with far caster at boom it's all there so that's like the first the first thing
here's the real game changer for me here's the actual game changer and I
would like if you fuck with that have keys I would not ignore this in this
part specifically is all right so your account is an ethereum wallet like
you're like username is an ethereum wallet right that you own is you have
you have custody of you have control of and what that allows is when you like
interact with these apps these frames any any dap on top of a forecaster like
if you were to do it on Twitter there's all these like gimmicks that go these
tools that go viral like what's your Twitter account value now what's your
what's your Twitter account worth and how do you do that well you have to you
have to click an exterior link you have to leave the platform and you have to
have any of your social data has no way to like prove who you are so it has to
like get access to your Twitter right so you have to like approve view my tweets
post post and delete tweets read if you realize bullshit permissions that you
don't want to do but because you're your forecaster account is an ethereum
wallet it sort of opens up this like massive capabilities and scalability
that you could not do prior previously so the coolest thing in my opinion that's
that's happening on forecasters is frames and frames is basically like
imagine you could like build an embed basically like a mini app into a tweet
right so I just like for example I just played this I'm gonna scroll in the
frames timeline and there's like this little Pokemon battler so like it's like
in a tweet you click like like start game game starts you click like like an
attack attack is used you click a defense defenses use attack it click
attack boom I killed the other Pokemon right when it when it died it was like
success you have won the battle now mint NFT and it pops up in the tweet just
like just like any regular tweet on your timeline and I click mint mint with
warps and warps are basically like friend like forecaster points
essentially but they have a value with how soon you could buy them you can get
them to people whatever they're like points basically and it says mint with
warps you click mint with warps all in one click never leave forecaster never
click the next to your link never connect a wallet wallets already
connected wallet is your account boom mint with warps 30 seconds is in my
wallet and so what's happening on forecaster if you scroll the fucking
frames feed there are just like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of these frames
these mini apps these mini experiences that you never have to leave the
platform for and the coolest part is the majority of them have NFT mint and so
what's happening is the users on forecaster are like mass mint like a
mass minting basically what what's the equivalent of free NFTs po-app content
memes like shit you would never meant because it's just too difficult they're
mass minting these things because it takes one click like you you have to
understand there the process right now like if I wanted you all to listen if I
wanted you all to mint a like thread guy what was the date today February 10th I
don't even know February 10th Twitter space like proof of attendance if I were
to do that I would have a po-app link that I would pin to the top of the
space I'd be like yo go mint to go mint to go mint you're in the audience you
would love probably if you listen to the whole space it was a good space it would
be nice for you to like leave with a proof of attendance token but to
actually go claim it not as fucking nice because what you have to literally do
you got to click the link I pinned to the top you got to go to the po-app that
XYZ website you have to connect your wallet you have to click mint you have
to then sign a transaction and then you you hope that the transaction goes through
you come back to Twitter and there's like one there's time friction it's
straight-up time it time is zero sum if you're spending it somewhere you could
be spending it somewhere else and the second is there is exterior risk which
I think is the hardest thing to account there's no way to account for the
exterior risk you have to connect your wallet to to a different platform there
is risk there doesn't matter who gave you the link where you got it from how
you got it and that all those the cultivation of all those things is why
if someone like post a free NFT on my timeline that I like and think it's
cool I'm not fucking minting it I'm not minting it because why why like why
mint it when there's risk why I meant it when there's risk and there's no like
like tangible value but it's just how I look at these things but a forecaster
and this is quite literally a game changer on forecaster you don't do any
of those things because your your address your account is there in wallet
it's already connected it's already in the platform you and you can mint with
through these frames these essentially mini apps embedded into tweets you can
quite literally scroll the timeline oh that's nice mint scroll the time like oh
that's nice mint scroll the top oh that's nice mint and it's like a quite
literally a one-click mint boom it's in your wallet accessible right now and I'm
writing I haven't written a thread in a long time it's been like a year plus and

the the problem the friction is how difficult it is to claim said mint said
NFTs and there hasn't been a fix for that at all and it isn't because like a
lack of the tech it's because a lack of limitations from the social networks
because you can't do it on Twitter and that to me is is quite literally the
game changer as I like fucking wake up in the morning click DM and my first my
daily scroll of the timeline is like involves like minting like seven NFTs
it's kind of a fucking game changer and so what what comes to this is it hasn't
really happened yet but it's starting to happen because your account is in
theory and wallet you can see all social graph on-chain interactions
it's directly connected to all the financial on-chain transactions right
right now all we have is like never Twitter you hopefully scraped and like
scraped some social data from Twitter's Twitter users but you can't get any of
the financial side at all like I have no idea what would be checks like wallet is
and have no possible way really to correlate it to his Twitter activity I
can like guess that the the open C link in his bio is like the wallet but do you
really know know he chooses to show you whatever on forecast your account is an
Ethereum wallet you can track both on chain you can track social data and you
can correlate it with financial data on chain and so what this does and this is
where I'm this is why I'm so excited about it and why I think it's worth
talking about in our space not gonna be this entire space but what it does is it
opens the floodgates for like the craziest craziest opportunity for social
and like financial games like what portal coin like tried to do you can do
on fucking steroids on a forecaster because not only can you track social
and in financial data on chain but you can also like require likes retweets
certain engagements in order to receive certain rewards and I am like I don't
know I could be wrong but it's like so painfully blatantly obvious that there
is about to be like the craziest token season on forecaster that like we
fucking see I kind of think it's it's not a level that that is just is just
different because you have the entire history of people's transactions like
indefinitely on the platform and it's on chain and it can easily be indexed and
sourced and sorted and the potential for airdrop is just like it's dumb it's
quite literally insane so what I would say is like bro if you like I know it's
like kind of cringe you know people are like tired of moving on first of all the
name is a little cringe I recognize that fair second it's like it's fucking
frustrating to move from platform to platform it is like if you I mean bro I
have my whole audience is on Twitter I've moved like 3,000 people over and
it's fucking annoying okay it's annoying I wish I had 140,000 I don't
okay it's fucking annoying and just like it was annoying to do on thread just
like it was annoying to do on friend tech just like it was annoying to to do
for a day I'm blue sky just like it was annoying on every other fucking platform
and I I don't really say this lightly even though I get excited about things
that this one is different and I it's not gonna be one of those things like
right now it's hype it's hot it has all the attention just like every social
network does in the first couple weeks to be fair it's years old but the mania
cycle is like a week old best frames frames are like two weeks old which I
think are the actual unlock and to be fair like how this probably plays out
is it can't just be like a DAU like daily active users up only forever right
like it has to chill out it has to slow down the reality situation is more
most if not all people have a larger audience larger following on on farcast
on Twitter than far caster if you're a creator you go where the fucking numbers
are just like what you do so if there's going to be growing pains I don't think
it goes up only but what I think happens here most likely is there's going to be
like a massive because here's the thing here's the thing the NFT free NFT
minting collecting it's a massive unlock I think it's huge but you're not
just gonna drop you're not gonna get another like a million people over a
million wallets over just to collect free NFTs what I think is gonna happen
and there's one pearl that got the Alex that we had on up a long ago pearl was
like the hottest thing in forecast right now what I think is gonna happen is
they're going there's going to be like a massive token airdrop from some social
games I'm like a really fun social game that has has perms and things that you
can't do on Twitter there's gonna be a massive airdrop and it's probably gonna
be pearl if they do it fast enough I mean if they did it right now I don't
know if they will how fast they'll do it but whoever does do it it's gonna make a
lot of people a lot of fucking money but it's also I don't think people realize
it's like I'm not a dev but how easy it sort of is to like create a social game
right now on on far caster and get people to engage and I think there's
going there's going there is going to be a like really financially lucrative
airdrop and it's gonna fucking open the floodgates and take this whole thing off
and I think it's going to get crazy because again the combination of the
social graph on chain plus your wallet in financial history on chain as well
the two things combined there's like the data and the flexibility you can get
with that data is fucking mad so that's my skill that's what I'm saying is like
if you're not on the platform you really should be because it's just like why not
like it's it's like fundamentally is not threads it's fundamentally it isn't
friend tech and if you're like interested in NFTs in this space you
should be observing what like bro people are minting free NFTs that never
happens people are minting music NFTs that never happens people are minting
content NFTs that never happens people are missing memes it never happens it
does not happen but there is no free mint no free poab forever that get 5,000
mints unless it's the fucking beanie fucker beanie for oak poab like it does
not happen like make no mistake about it it does not happen and it's happening
right now and I think to like like yes we love talking about the market yes we
love talking about all these particular things but this this to me is sort of
like like frames in themselves even if you took crypto away completely take
take away the mint function take away the airdrop function of frames and just
just solely look at the ability and the accessibility to quite literally code
an app into a tweet it's crazy like it's it is in my opinion and this is the
last thing I'll say and I'm gonna move on and my opinion frames are like this
thing is for as long as I've been in crypto this might be a bullet take for
as long as I've been in crypto like really late December 2020 but like
really August 2021 frames is the most significant feature or like new
application that I've ever seen in crypto like genuinely it's nothing is
the most significant thing that's happened since since I've been in
crypto I don't think it like fully makes sense yet but it's the writing is on the
wall for what this could be I really hope it plays out how I think it will
because I'll say this my dopamine fucking receptors think it's gonna
continue to play out because the idea of like one click it's addicting it's
addicting it's addicting even when you know the NFT it doesn't have any value
but some of them will but some of them will and that's that's where it gets
hyper addicting so I don't know how it's gonna play out I'm pretty confident
whether farcaster makes it or fails we get a token season we have to there have
to add I mean D gen is already like a hundred hundred mil two hundred mil at
the top so I don't know how it plays out but I just like feel very strongly if
you are on the social like to me the coolest part of crypto is the social
layer like by far it's the social layers is what makes this shit so engaging so
interesting so my crypto Twitter is like the best reality TV show in the world
like it sort of is the best part of this and forecaster enables a social layer
like like like social layer 2.0 a layer above what we normally have on crypto
Twitter that can't be accessed anywhere else so if it's all if it's at all
interesting to you I think you are like severely holding yourself back not being

social layer where we can do some more interesting things the frames thing is
very cool they're shipping very fast the only thing that you didn't mention which
I think is relevant to people is that right now there's probably like a
disproportionate which way around is it yeah like a disproportionate number of
people who are like very very smart like the hyper intelligent builder
community over there and it's probably worth and this is like the two things
that interest me one that the fact that there's like hyper smart intelligent
people having like really interesting conversations shipping stuff quickly and
being a part of that conversation seems valuable to me because I don't really
know those people that well yet and I'd probably never get close to them on
Twitter because of all the noise here and to be honest I think some of them
have checked out of here so that would be a good way to like get to know people
and get in the mix a little bit that was one thing I'm thinking and then the
second thing you kind of mentioned it the proof of personhood I think a lot of
a lot of the validity of Twitter followers and engagement has kind of
disappeared now it's like I think there's a lot of lost trust in the system I know
they're trying to bring it back with like verified users and I think in the
future on Twitter there will be a big distinction between like okay you have
50k followers but how many of those are verified and how many are not I think
that will become a thing but this this way that you can keep getting people to
mint for free things that will be like a real proof of personhood which is very
interesting as a data point for creators when you want to take that
information and give it to sponsors or or anyone really it's and just to really
feel the proper demand rather than having your shit butted and like not
having a proper accurate perception of your own demand so those two things one
thing new thing one thing that you already said but that was helpful to me

nostalgia in there but when I look back on August 2021 in that entire year
really the whole year of 2022 I kind of look at that as like the glory days of
CT and to be fair I haven't been here long enough I think to like make that
call cuz I wasn't here the first 2017 18 19 20 but I like looked back on what
that was it was such a different time like it was such a such a such a such a
different time a lot of these like guys I think I like look up to where it was
the Kobe's of the world like like all these people were still there they were
daily tuning they were actively tweeting felt like they were more like
participants in in the commentary and somewhere along that timeline like I
think I really like the bear market bro CT just became washed it did CT became
washed the Twitter Twitter platform turned into a fucking mess everyone
follower overflowed with bots like it got big a toxic as any financial space
would community would get when we're down only and and there's you know the
biggest financial crime scam of history happens to us directly like yeah you get
a little cynical maybe but it somewhere along that that timeline crypto Twitter
just became like a shell of its former self like right now it's in a weird it's
in a weird place it's like the other ETFs are approved and like we kind of
are in consensus that the bull market is back but like where where is it I know
bitcoins 48k right now but like the social layer of CT to me it's sort of
the giveaway of where we're at it doesn't really feel like we're back I
think it would be hard to to agree that it does and you sort of like look at CT
right now and it's like fuck man it's a little bit of a ghost town like a lot of
the a lot of the like key people that I am here to like connect with and get
their insights and in chat they're just like not they're like fuck this and then
you go over to a forecaster and not to say like one's better than the other
whatever but what I am saying is there's to be text point a very
disproportionately like concentrated smart like it can't like I listen to
Dan some old podcasts I think it really stems from like the earliest users of
a broadcast and they're all debts like it's all the deaths it's like it
naturally attracts the developer community and then like one one
extension above it you get all these like really smart thought like the
platform doesn't love engagement farming and shit posts I'll say that and you
also say the platform needs some fucking engagement farming and shit posts to
turn this thing up we need to be a little more silly on that plot it's very
right curve like it is very very right curve like it make no mistake about it
but what you get out of that is the quality of your followers is pretty
alarming on on that platform and it also feels like very much like to be fair I
wasn't really early Twitter like I can't I can't like really say I was early
Twitter but I was early NFT Twitter because I couldn't exist that's good
like really board apes like created NFT Twitter and I was fucking buying top
shots I got I was paying attention and you very much like no like I knew what
was happening I didn't really know but I knew what was happening when it was
happening and I was like oh this is like there the energy the aura around
this NFT Twitter like crypto this shit is special like you you just can like
feel it you know you know wall your experience what's the the Andy Bernard
quote is like I wish there's a way to know you're in the good old days when
you're still in them like I knew I was in the good old days of fucking CT like
you just know you can feel it you feel it near you feel the aura and it kind of
can't last forever even though I would say like it's probably in a better place
now than it was then cuz we're so early but it kind of you just like no and
anyone that was super deep at that time was like a massive beneficiary of what
happened in the market I was I mean I think I'm the biggest example of being
like a beneficiary of an up-only sort of market and community it allowed me to
grow like at a rapid pace fast and also grow like here's that here's the real
self is like grow and be a beginner at the same time as a lot of other people
that are beginners and like really bright so what you get is like after a
couple years two years three years whatever it is all the people that we
came up with are also like doing big things and it's kind of like damn you
were part of that like early crew like everyone wants to be part of that like
early crew that becomes the like cool kids table whatever well look at like
Forecaster it's very much the same like you can feel that something different is
happening here like I haven't I haven't gotten this like feeling of this like
basically what crypto to NFC Twitter was in 2021 what I felt like full-blown
masked conviction in in what what we're doing here like I hadn't really felt
that in crypto since then and it's sort of like a feeling you forget what it
feels like until you feel it again and you're like holy shit but it very much
feels like it's happening on Forecaster where it's like there's this super smart
technical convicted core group of people on the platform that are all
everybody's that's on it knows like everyone that's there is fully convinced
this is the thing and there's these quite literally in my opinion I don't
know how you would use the frame for the first time it's an NFT and one click and
not just like be convinced I think that's all it tastes is one min but
there's the this community that's super early and fully convinced that's using
features and like moving forward with features that the rest of the world
doesn't even know about I'm crazy pretty doesn't even know what frames are like
it it's kind it doesn't get discussed like I'm looking before we do spaces I
go and look at every all the hosts what they're talking about what what the
topics are what's that what I should talk about which already been discussed
and no one fucking knows what a frame is and it quite literally is like the
biggest thing in my opinion that's ever happened that's happening crypto in the
past like two and a half years like seriously and again I haven't been here
for ten so I can't tell you you know how how revolutionary you know all these
these things were along the way but I do know that this one is and when you look

first of all they do is I gotta like step on walk around glass a little bit
there what I what I found actually two insights two insights and I promise we're

we're going that direction two insights is the first and there are people on
forecaster that have massive followings that nobody gives a fuck about on Twitter
and here's why two things one there's there's like an inherent skill tweeting
is a skill to be able to like run up a following on there's there is it is a
skill-based game and it is still the learning curve is very high the skill
gap is very high the difference for what you get rewarded on for Twitter and
forecast or a different though because Twitter rewards engagement how can you
get enough how can you get people to talk about something you said how can you
say the most how Twitter rewards beanie how can you come and say the most
controversial possible statement and pissed off the most board apes that's
the game on Twitter and I'm pretty good at saying controversial shit right it's
the game on forecaster it's very much more like yo who can code the like
dopest frame experience because here's the thing there's all these devs on CT
that are super fucking smart that are geniuses they're not good at tweeting
but they're really good at building mobile applications the problem is nobody
fucking cares about the mobile applications because yes the
distributions on Twitter but nobody wants to click an exterior link and
connect their wallet it's the biggest friction in the industry the biggest
friction in the industry for caster you don't have to do that you can just like
code a frame and and it's live and the distribution is already there and you
have the users and so the thing about forecaster is all the people that are
rapidly growing are not the fucking threators that have no idea what they're
talking not the fucking spacious host I don't know what they're talking about
it's not the fucking influencers it's like developers and the people that are
ripping through forecaster are doing it because they're actually building shit
and yes that's bearish thread guy it's very bearish thread guy long term but

as I'm on this platform is the people that I feel like I'm critical early
connecting with are not like other influencers and it's it's so refreshing

for 25.2 ETH and then sell it for 25.27 ETH for like 0.01 ETH profit after gas

really funny like crazy bullish on it it's one of the first people to like
almost denominate in an NFT and I've seen people do that with crypto
denominated his name yeah if Franklin has 60 board apes or whatever his name
was yeah yeah but as in like his his whole plan because I've watched an
interview with him on it one of his whole plan was just to get more apes like
it didn't the ETH didn't matter and this is actually the similar plan that punks
OTC does his like he the plan is to accumulate punks and in the same way
Franklin just used to want to accumulate apes and I think in the end kind of sad
demise to see that kind of chapter in NFT history get closed but in terms of
like where it leaves you go and board apes and you linked it to like a kind of
botched mint the other day on L1 I think it was yesterday I mean he hasn't been
around for a while so it feels like he's kind of taken a step back already so I
don't think it's like a huge immediate hit one thing one interesting thing I've
noticed obviously I report on the news every single day in the snapshot and
when I do that I like look at this like all the collections are always ordered
in seven day volume so typically the top collections are always at the top right
because the top collections have the most volume that's usually the way it
goes and I don't know why I haven't investigated it fully but for the first
time ever I have to scroll down to get to board apes because they're not in the
top like 10 or 12 of volume Wow like obviously the price is still good but
there's just a bunch of other things doing more volume at the moment and that
they always used to be towards the top so just for context like right now
number one is this nobody collection which is kind of tank that's why it's at
the top D gods is right up there mutant apes is three Azuki has been towards
the top all the time number four pudgy penguins which has just moved up to
19 East by the way and up another 9% today and on the seven day volume so
that's in fifth position but yeah after little pudgy's tension matrix Pandora
doodles utes Azuki elementals clone X then it's board apes so I haven't
investigated like why that volumes dropped obviously there's some farming
probably going on as well maybe that farm's gone away but yeah like it's it
does seem just like a bit of attention has moved away and a lot of attention is
obviously going towards pudgy's mad lads with all these airdrops happening
those seem to be the collections in the spotlight so it's definitely a time
where the spotlight has moved to some extent I saw somebody tweet not me was
like last week at some point you never like oh like bullets diamond hands
nobody told a board ape in the last 24 hours and I don't know I kind of looked
at that tweet and I was like man I don't know if this is necessarily like
a bullish diamond hand sign what what do you just make your overall thoughts you
do a lot of market analysis be checked you look at a lot of fucking collections
spend a lot of time doing it what is sort of your thoughts when the
collection starts trending towards less and less and less volume is it the
reason why I'd say it's hard for me to say is because I just don't know
perfectly how much of this the wash trading volume is getting like taken out
so it could very well be the case in this instance that the traders that are
just like bidding for points and then selling maybe those bids you know maybe
they're just not maybe the game is not working as well on board apes at the
moment therefore they've just reallocated somewhere else so I don't know for sure
the price seems to be holding up like fairly fine though so from that
perspective I don't know that it's a terrible thing it's just like an
interesting data point and I'd want to see like more data points to perform a
better conclusion I'd say all right here's my question I guess outside of
because you're right the volumes of volume the washrooms and wash trading
it's sort of hard to analyze that shit especially now with the blurring points
all this my question for you though is what the hell happened with the myth like
what just like what went wrong but even more than like practically what went

time round and I think it will do the same again with the right incentives but
I think the reason why this one hasn't maybe caught the attention is because
like people are a little bit confused about the number of games like how these
assets all interact and connect with each other so I think there's a little
bit of confusion there whereas Dookie Dash doesn't have that confusion is

so visual because there were so many videos shared on the timeline there's
just no confusion of what that game is and so people can get excited about it
quickly and the hype can build so maybe they need a bit more of a social
component to to make though these these other games in their ecosystem like

get people over but that's very tough to do from an unproven you know gaming

ape and you see some of these other companies that have more experience in
this stuff like Epic and Disney coming in you see some of the faithful kind of
like it's losing their face and we don't know it's all personal situation but you

fussed about it it's like not that innovative as much as we thought also

of just like not bearish on it just kind of ambivalent it's just like well it's
just routine fractional ization is not as innovative so to be honest I hadn't
quite come to like a perfect conclusion on it but the speculation on this first
one was just completely wild for the Pandora's thing I suspect like I don't
know why this would necessarily like from a value perspective I don't know
why it would hold this much value so I'd be like super concerned from that

end of success of the Pandora's there's gonna be a lot more of these collections
using the standard to come out do you think that's the thing where it's like

space what I have come to realize now right now is capital is not the issue
like there is way more capital than you can even imagine so right now it's not
just blast with 1.5 billion ethify which is like ethify has just gone past a

itself that its TVL has just gone up to four point four five billion from two
point one five billion just two days ago because they opened the caps again like
this like all of this when money is getting deposited in this scale it's not

this somewhere else and get a better return this isn't money that's like oh I
should have bought pudgy penguins instead for an extra 6th because with
that's with a thousand eth you'd wreck the pudgy penguins market and move the
floor up to god knows what price like it's not able to get allocated to other
things and the I don't think these are people who are trying to I mean yet yes
there are other opportunities but they don't need their capital back they need
a safe place for them to make good money relatively quickly but it's not
something that they need to take back and do something quickly with in my
