Remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP. A client that only runs local servers can bridge to it with mcp-remote:
npx mcp-remote https://alphagrowth.io/mcp
Crypto data is spread over a dozen sites, each with its own API, key and names for the same project. AlphaGrowth pulls it together, matches every project to one slug and serves it all through one MCP server, including the funding rounds, token unlocks and DAO treasury holdings that usually sit behind paid plans.

Once it's added, ask in plain words. Your AI picks the tools.
Start with find_projects or chains to turn a name into a slug; the other tools take it. Lists are paged, and bad arguments come back as tool errors your AI can correct.
Projects 5
find_projectsFind projects
Finds crypto projects whose name or symbol contains the query, largest TVL first, with slug, category, TVL and market cap. Includes blockchains' own projects (flagged `is_chain`: true; use chain_metrics for the chain, project_metrics for its coin). Use the slug with the other project tools. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
query

project_metricsProject metrics
A crypto project's current metrics from AlphaGrowth: TVL, price, market cap, volume, revenue, users and social followers with 1d/7d/30d changes, plus its description, categories, chains and links. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
slug
project_communityProject community growth
How fast a crypto project's community is growing: followers or members per network (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit) with 1d/7d/30d percent changes and one point per day for up to 90 days. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

rank_projectsProject rankings
Ranks crypto projects by a metric such as TVL, market cap, price, revenue or followers (or its 1d/7d/30d change), optionally within a category or chain, 50 per page. Sub-projects such as Aave V2 and Aave V3 rank as their own rows beside their parent. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

Chains 2
chainsChains
Blockchains ranked by TVL with price, market cap, 1d/7d TVL change and how many projects run on each, 50 per page. Use a chain's slug with chain_metrics and its chain_slug as the chain filter of rank_projects. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

chain_metricsChain metrics
A blockchain's metrics as on AlphaGrowth's chain compare page. Every value (TVL, transactions, price, social numbers) is for `date`, one day ago (UTC), not the current value; the ecosystem counts (projects, dapps, games, markets, pools) are current. The chain's current price and market metrics are in project_metrics with the same slug. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

Investors and funding 3
recent_funding_roundsRecent funding rounds
The most recent crypto funding rounds, newest first, with project, category, amount, type and investors, optionally within a category, 50 per page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

The top 100 crypto investors ranked by number of projects funded or by total amount invested, with their first 20 funded projects (projects_more counts the rest), 50 per page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).

Yields 2
yield_poolsDeFi yield pools
DeFi yield and lending pools across protocols and chains, updated hourly: supply APY (base + reward), borrow APY for lending pools, TVL and what it counts, 50 per page. Filter by chain, token symbol, stablecoins only and a minimum TVL (use min_tvl_usd of 1000000 or more to skip thin pools, whose APYs swing). a guide to the server and the API for language models
/openapi.json
OpenAPI description of the REST API at /api/v1, which serves the same data
A free, remote Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants and agents read-only crypto data: project TVL and metrics, funding rounds and investors, chains, fees and revenue, yields, token unlocks, DAO treasuries and treasury companies. One server answers what would otherwise take several sites and API keys.
Is it free? Do I need an API key?
It is free, with no API key, account or sign-in: add the URL and the tools are there. Calls are rate-limited per IP address.
How do I add it to Claude?
Use the Add to Claude button: it opens Claude's Add custom connector dialog with the name and URL filled in, and you confirm. Or go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste https://alphagrowth.io/mcp. In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add --transport http alphagrowth https://alphagrowth.io/mcp
Can I use it in ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, turn on Developer mode under Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced, create a connector with the URL https://alphagrowth.io/mcp and no authentication, then use it in a chat.
Which clients does it work with?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, including Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, LM Studio, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cline, Zed and Kiro.
Where does the data come from?
From AlphaGrowth's crypto database, which combines many crypto data sources and matches every project to one slug. Every result carries a source block to cite.
How fresh is the data?
Yields are refreshed hourly; TVL, prices, fees, funding, token unlocks, DAO treasuries and community counts daily. Results carry the date of their data where it has one.
Can it trade or change anything?
No. Every tool is read-only: it looks data up and never writes, trades or moves funds.
Is there a REST API too?
Yes. The same data is served at /api/v1, described in OpenAPI at /openapi.json.
