Welcome to the News Talk and Show Megaspace for today, for this week.
We have some amazing projects lined up for you all to come up here and present some of
the awesome stuff that they're doing out there. But also, we are going to talk about some of the latest news that is happening in this space.
And it's been a relatively quiet week, if I'm honest.
Very quiet week, actually, when it comes to news.
But there is some very interesting stuff that's going to happen.
We'll be talking about that very, very shortly.
But as I said before, main thing is get out there and share this room.
I'm going to be doing some random draws throughout this mega space and we're
going to be here for about four hours all up.
I think that's about all I can last to be honest.
So once we've done that, throughout that rather,
I will be doing some prize draws, drawing some random people,

But now getting much better.
Every day I kind of get a bit stronger, which is good.
So I've been fighting, well, fighting COVID, but it's been a nasty batch of flu which is not nice um crypto chickens good

would love to be here in your space well thank you for coming up here with us as well i'm really
excited about this because the projects that we have up here are legit awesome projects these are
projects i've vetted myself these are projects i check out i won't have anyone up here that
haven't vetted and yeah you guys are the real deal so i'm very excited about this uh and one of the new ones in here as

the first time i'm driving home from taking the twins to school and i cannot wait to hang out

I love the Humanians. How are you doing? Hi, Vince. Thanks so much for having us. I've been really excited about this space. I know you host the best spaces. They're always really fun,
really good vibes. So I've really been looking forward to this for this week.
I love it when other spaces hosts tell you that as well,
because the Humanian space is one of my favorite spaces.
The only problem with that is, of course, the time zone difference.
It's actually four o'clock in the morning here,
but I think when you run yours,
I have to be up at around 1.30, two o'clock in the morning.
It's crazy.

very shortly by looking

But yeah, you have won so congratulations anyway we are going to kick things off here uh by looking at some of the news uh and the first news we're going to be talking about here is
a really interesting play and a bit of a kind of faux pas by magic eden uh so for those that don't
know magic eden kind of announced that they're Eden. So for those that don't know, Magic Eden kind of announced
that they're going to enforce royalties on any projects that are on their platform. However,
they've now done an about face, a complete 180 and flipped on the creator royalties and have
decided to make them optional. So they announced they're going to make those royalties on secondary
transactions optimal, optional not optimal
optional just days after reaffirming reaffirming its intention to enforce them now it comes after
their initial decision on royalties received considerable blowback from the nft community
which is an interesting one to me um but first up let's see who we got at the top here we'll
start with i will start with sean andce. What's your take on this one?
It's an interesting one.
That's the first.
Like you said, there hasn't been a whole lot happening.
So that's the first I had seen of that news when you mentioned it.
So I just had a quick read.
And, yeah, it's kind of odd for me.
I, with the royalties, I think for projects anyway, uh, unless you're selling like, unless
your floor price is really high and all your transactions, let's say you've got a 4% royalty,
um, a project, even if you had a million dollars worth of sales on the secondary market,
you're going to get, yeah, $40,000 of that will be royalties.
So that's quite a lot of money.
So for us, it's kind of like, well, I mean, we were thinking,
do we put anything as a royalty?
And then we were like, well, why not?
We can use that towards charities.
But for them, I think what i read was it's yeah optional so surely
you're going to see more projects uh having no royalties and then if you if the if the buyer
has the option i mean how many buyers are going to pay a royalty if they don't have to so that
was kind of how i read that is it's like you said they're flip-flopped and they've now put it on the buyer as opposed to the seller who obviously in the past is some people have had like 10% royalties or higher.
Imagine if you bought a yacht club, you got an $80,000 transaction and 10% of that is going straight back to BAYC.
That's a big deal.
Whereas if the buyer now has the option, why would they pay that?
Yeah, it's a very interesting one from my perspective as well.
It's kind of, look, I totally understand the backlash because, you know, a lot of people that are selling on the secondary will be like, hey, I want as much money for this as I possibly can.
But there's actually really good reasons for royalties and things as well, because the reality is some of the projects, the royalties, the secondary royalties actually go towards, like you said, charities and things like that as well.
Which means that, you know, some of the plans of some of these projects is going to be just completely undercut by this optional nature of it so
I don't know where I'm going to see this I'm not sure if it's going to mean that less people put
royalties on there but I do think that we're going to see maybe platforms come out that will try and
enforce this a bit more as well because for projects it's it's kind of a big deal I mean mean, if you look at Moonbirds, Moonbirds, I can't remember the exact figure, but it
did something like $12 million in its initial mint, but it made $55 million worth of transactions
in the first week.
So you think about those commissions that are on that, that's huge.
Yeah, Sean.
Yeah, exactly.
And just to follow up on that imagine what all these uh freeman uh
projects are going to be thinking about this decision
precisely that was the worst time to take a drink by the way precisely man i love it
hey hypebeast what's your take on this one man you know it's really i don't know i'm not on the fence at all i think it's good to be able to have them
but i you know i'm gonna have to wait and watch it play out i'll be real honest with you
yeah it's it's a it's an interesting one i don't think magic eden really want any negative press
at the moment because they're making some really big plays to try and take on open c i. I mean, they've brought in a number of new networks, including, of course,
Ethereum. And Magic Eden traditionally has been a Solana market, which means that they're doing
a number of things to try and compete with OpenSea. So any negative press like this, I don't think
they're going to be terribly happy with. Let's see. Humanians. Uma, what's your take on this one?

sorry i almost rung there i was i was busy tweeting um i think i really uh agree with um
hypebeast of watching it's nice to kind of try new things and try to fix things and see how they go
but it's really good to just test them out see how they go and then maybe decide that maybe that
wasn't good or that was good what's working what't. I'm a real trial and error kind of person. So I'm actually
more open when people try loads of weird, wonderful new things like that. Because you never know how
it's going to be until it is actually out there and people are doing it and how people actually
feel about it. But I really want to watch and see how that works out yeah it's
going to be interesting to interesting to play out um now we've got hype heroes and crypto chickens
up here if you guys want to add anything to that just do now otherwise i'll move on to the next one
and get your feedback on that uh let's see the next news item is uh is a very interesting one
actually um so for those that don't know, Reddit has kind of
created their own little crypto wallet, the RedoVault crypto wallet, and also selling their
own NFTs, which are basically PFPs for on Reddit. And the news has come out, according to TechCrunch
Disrupt on Tuesday, that over 3 million Redditors have created their own crypto wallets on the
social platform, which is absolutely huge. And of those wallets, 2.5 million purchase NFT avatars
that can serve as their PFPs. So this, I mean, 3 million Redditors, the Coinbase will be kicking
themselves because Coinbase were kind of seen as the next big marketplace and their wallet and
everything for NFTs.
It was going to be the big, huge launch that was going to disrupt Metamask
and disrupt OpenSea, and it kind of fizzled when it came out.
Now they're making good strides since then,
but Reddit just comes out of the bat with 3 million wallets
and 2.5 million purchased NFTs.
that is huge um hype heroes man what's your take on this well first i think it's hilarious that um

Hype Heroes, man, what's your take on this?
coinbase flopped you know like i'm on the fence about coinbase i use it i like it but
it's been a lot of money and went nowhere you know as far as um reddit i mean yeah a lot of
people are making the profiles and everything but but I've been on crypto Reddit.
I'm on there like all the time.
And, you know, as a marketer, as an investor, I don't really get a lot of useful information and feedback there.
And I never feel like I need to market an audience.
So I wonder how she is flowing through that ecosystem and like what that's going to mean in the near future.
Are they going to be moving markets?
Are they going to be having an impact on the NFT market?
Or are they just making Reddit BFPs?
We'll have to see what happens.
But again, the crypto, Reddit audience, to me, so far,
hasn't been a huge voice in the community
yeah I'm with you on that man and the coinbase one was hilarious but I'm not
worried about coinbase in the sense that they some of the partnerships they're
doing at the moment I think are really going to it's a bit of a slow burn like
you look at some of the the exclusive things that they've put on to the
coinbase market and coinbase NFTs I that they put on to the Coinbase market
and Coinbase NFTs, I think they're going to get a bit more traction and things as well.
But yeah, this one just came out of the blue and I'm with you as well. I don't try and spend too
much time on Reddit. I find it incredibly negative and I don't really like negative space. I'm a very
positive person. But also I just just, from a marketing perspective,
I haven't really found the value in Reddit yet. And some marketers disagree with me,
but that's just my experience. Let's see. Crypto Chickens, what's your take on this one?
Well, I'll be very honest. I'm not really a fan of reddit so I I'm not a marketer or you know I don't really go
to reddit I well I just I have one experience there just you know reading um about um crypto
news um and some forums but I really don't you know dwell on reddit so much so if they are
opening this type of if they're you know wanting to open this type of um i don't know strategy or
um then that that's good it's like what hypere said it's um good's good for us to watch out what's going to happen.
If they're doing something new or trying something different, then, yeah, I just love to check what's going to happen next.
But I don't really have anything to say about that because, again, I'm not really a fan of Reddit.
Yeah, I'm definitely with you on the not a fan of Reddit one.
I do find, though, the one thing that I think is really positive about this is that's a lot of new people in this space.
Well, we're assuming they're new people in this space.
They're certainly new people to the Reddit wallet.
But anything that is kind of bringing new people in anything that is really um having a
positive impact on nfts i'm all for anything that's going to turn around this bear market
trust me it's going to be a good thing for all of us so um yeah i find this one interesting it'll
be really interesting to see where it goes next um now for anyone else up here anyone want to add
anything to that particular one yeah humanians um go for it
hi guys so i'm so sad that you guys are not huge fans of reddit maybe because i'm obsessed with
reddit and i'm on it all the time i have to say i'm not on reddit for any of like crypto i am part
of some of the crypto things but i don't really go in there to look at crypto or nfts i go in there
for lots of and i am surprised Vince that you find
it so negative but I find I maybe I've tuned it in such a way that I only see a lot of positive
things and it's a lot of lovely psychology threads you know that I'm a mental health nurse so I'm
really passionate about lots of really deep conversations in Reddit which I love to like
read and like talk about and stuff so I really love reddit i saw their pfps and i i actually wanted
to go and buy one and i and i just did it because i was just watching it and seeing what it does
with it so i'm really pro this i'm like go reddit reddit should like you know really bring a lot of
exactly what some people said bring a lot of web 2 people or people who aren't into web 3 into web
3 um because i think there's a lot of cool people in Reddit.
Yeah.

You've convinced me to give it another shot.
I think you're totally right, though.
I'm probably in spaces in there and communities in there that are overly negative as well.
So I think that's possibly the case.
And I know that there's probably really good Reddit threads out there and there's really
good little reddit communities I just seem to find all the ones that are overly arrogant and overly
negative as well hypebeast you had your hand up are you going to add something to that
yeah I was just going to agree with her a hundred percent it depends where you use it i've noticed i don't know if you did they tried these pfps
on chain a while ago i think it was a christmas time and they have some that artist came in made
this new and they charged something like five eth or three eth for these things. They went on auction and they were just crazy. If you go on
the Reddit, the NFT subreddit, sorry, my cat just jumped at me for some reason. If you go on those,
they're a pretty good community and you can find some really nice and new projects, but just like
anything, you have to 100% be open to knowing that there are going to be rugs on there and watch out. But other than that,
it's kind of interesting. I'd like to know how many of the wallets are bots only because there
is a huge bot problem on Reddit in the NFT communities where if you're posting, you'll
get about 50 comments of bot accounts throwing their wallet down for you. Interesting. Yeah.
I mean, to be fair, we also have the same problem with Twitter.
I put a post out today
and the first like five or six different replies to it
were just automated bots
just telling me I should list on some marketplace.
So, you know.
Yep.
List on market.

Oh, yeah.
We get hit with that all the time.
Yeah.
Oh, you got to love it.

Hey, Sean and Cece, you want to add something?
Yeah, just quickly, and that's just to follow up on what Hypebeast said.
It's like how many of these wallets are active because that's a lot.
I mean, even just in terms of active Ethereum wallets,
there's only like at the moment 700,000 a day or something
out of a total 70-something million wallets worldwide.
But exactly what he was saying about the bots,
like we haven't spent too much time in crypto Reddit,
but I mean outside of crypto it's really good.
It's got a lot of useful information you do have to dig.
But yeah, if you're trying to actually market,
it is super difficult with crypto.
You have to be so careful with the
words you use yet they've got a bot problem and people can come in and spam your post with their
wallet address and then not only is that only beneficial for them but it also can get your
post taken down so there's there's a lot of stuff that that there's a there's a lot of things to cover but i mean overall i think it
is obviously good introducing wallets um hopefully um even in a bmr in a bull market we see reddit
being a major tool for marketing um because of the you know just people want to jump on whatever's
um whatever's big at the time so definitely uh got to watch those bots though. Yeah, death by bots.
I love it.
The other kind of parting comment I'll make on this one just is,
the other thing which I've completely forgot about with this
is Reddit actually developed most of its blockchain features on Polygon,
which means if their wallet is, you know, Polygon friendly
and the NFTs are based on Polygon as well,
that's a huge endorsement of Polygon.
And we've seen a lot of big plays on the Polygon network lately.
Disney doing their exclusive incubator using Polygon.
You've got Tom Brady, his whole media company,
using only Polygon and things as well.
And a bunch of others that are developing on that,
including a lot of gaming stuff.
So I think this is positive for Polygon.
And full disclosure for all of you, when we started the Christmas Ninjas,
our Genesis Ninjas were on the Polygon network.
But we actually found some teething problems when people were trying to come
into Polygon if they weren't familiar with it,
if they're in the ETH kind of ecosystem.
All of a sudden, I mean, I was up at 1 o'clock in the morning talking
with a couple of people trying to help them out because they had transferred ETH to Polygon but didn't understand about the bridging.
So therefore, basically, their ETH just vanished into the ether.
So I had to jump in there and actually show them bridging and get it back into their wallet
and things like that and show them how to do it, which was awesome for them
because they're very grateful that we were there to help them.
And it meant they minted and everything as well.
I'm very positive about the project.
But it made me really nervous about the whole onboarding experience with Polygon.
So I found that one very, very interesting.
So, all right, we're going to, oh, hang on, I'm just going to bring up quick bitching here.
Helium, I see you requesting to come up.
I'll bring you up a little later, so just stay there.
We've got some scheduled projects to get through first.
But we are going to kick off now into the uh the promotion part of this and talk about what some of the projects are up to uh and first up is hypebeast so hypebeast uh tell us tell us what's

I'm the co-founder of Flight Force 4,
and we're building a play-and-earn and also rent-and-earn shooter game.
So it's a space-themed game based on five planets built in Unreal Engine 5.
So imagine a mix of quality games like Call of Duty and Halo,
but starting smaller to begin with,
and from there we just constantly update and expand the game in all ways.

So the multiverse is an additional part of of our project which is actually built in unity

Very cool like this this multiverse video is actually our OG Defenders hangout.
So they are all getting access to this actual world.
There's a spaceship there.
There'll be multiple spaceships,
but also a really cool world to run around in
and do games nights and do NFT hunts and bounty hunts
and all sorts of cool fun things for our community
to be able to sort of branch out of Discord and get into an actual environment where we can all
run around and see each other's characters. So that's going to be, well, it should be in the
middle of next month, so not far away at all. But yeah, so our NFTs serve as the 3D game characters.
You'll be able to upgrade and purchase in-game items, weapons, armor packs, tech drones.
You'll even be able to rent these out.
So all of these NFTs are going to be rentable in the game to earn our token.
In terms of the game progress itself, the game studio is currently working on the training base which is in that update video
there's also a second part of that which is going to be the multiplayer practice map
where we'll all be able to go and and play against each other but in a practice environment rather
than to earn tokens and that'll be our beta version of the game so we'll release that and
the OGs that I mentioned earlier that get access to that multiverse world, they also get access to the beta version of our game, which will be closed beta testing. And very easy-to-read white paper on our website.

This project has so many good things going for it.
Right now, one of those good things is we're minting our Helios Defenders.
of those good things is we're minting our helios defenders so this is the second uh character
collect this is the second collection of uh of our um defenders so these are uh 0.023 eth at the
moment we're in public mint and there's a gigantic minting incentive um right now for the first 250 people that mint three or more so you'll mint three you'll get six
nfts and of those six one of those will be one of the ogs that i mentioned uh so the og floor price
is something like 0.18 east so straight off the bat you've got your money's worth back and not
only that by holding an og you also get access to a claim of
an exeon character which is the alien character in the game which is the enemy so you'll have one
of each and not only that you're also going to get an exeon for holding a helios so uh you're
going to have yeah if you mint three you're going to essentially get six but that is not where it
ends you're going to also get all the tokens.
So a massive part of what we're doing, which is very different to most gaming projects specifically,
is we have no VC funding.
We've funded this game with our own funds so far,
and we want to put the rewards and the power in our community's hands
in terms of being the token holders.
And for this, this makes sense for us on many levels.
So, yeah, these NFTs we're putting out have huge amounts of value tied to them.
For example, the OGs are getting 5% of our total token supply.
They're getting 50,000 tokens each.
There's only 1,000 of the OGs.
There's Helios Collection that we are minting right now. They have 6,250 tokens tied to each
of them. And these will be claimable every... Yeah. So once we launch that token, those will
be claimable 25% at token launch and then every six months after that. So the value as that token rises as well is going to translate directly
to the value of your NFT.
But, you know, it's not all just about tokens.
You get to use it in the game.
You get to use it in the multiverse.
You get to rent it if you want for passive earnings.

all over the world to just be a part of our project and our project is really celebrating diversity
I think inclusivity and is is everyone being included and and you know that inclusive kind
of everyone's welcome is our probably the core of our project it's definitely a judgment-free space
as well and if you can see from our artwork our wonderful artist um Visby her name is Amber Day
was creating art to just raise
awareness for body dysmorphia which is why you have this really quirky exaggerated kind of body
features and and body shapes um so again kind of um pushing that kind of well-being and kind of
mental health uh related theme so we have about 2 300 unique holders of those 5,800 NFTs.
We were very keen to do good, if that makes sense, our do good mission.
So much of our profits were donated to charity.
We donated 77.527 ETH, and we shared that between two of our charity partners.
So that's the Be Well Collective and the Body Dysmorphic Disorder and both of which are located in London which where I'm based which is great
for me because I get to go and pop and see them and go to some of their seminars and see like what
kind of amazing work they do and they've done honestly some amazing things that they're doing
which has helping people in real life who are struggling. We've also developed and launched our staking contract.
So a lot of our NFTs are staked and they're earning change tokens daily. So you're probably

So we think we've done really well with our kind of do-good mission,
both like internally, externally.
I hold mental health spaces regularly, mental health or kind of well-being mega spaces as well,
well-being spaces. I talk about sleep hygiene, you know, how to manage that FOMO, how to manage
your time in Web3, having that work-life balance, you know, all the things that us nurses do when
we promote health and well-being, like, you know, what is, what habits are the best habits to
improve your health generally. I do all these kind of
spaces but I also just ask people like what what topic would your community like and I will go away
do a bit of research and pull a seminar together for it so we've got a lot of lovely kind of um
things that we do and in terms of what's coming up so I always talk about what we've done but
but what's coming up we we also just recently finished a coloring book that the um founding team went and gave to uh local
schools in bali in indonesia where many of them are located and that was really cute to see um and
we started development on our metaverse so we're creating a metaverse it was originally on the nft
worlds but obviously when that was blocked by Minecraft, we explored different steps and we've got a different plan.
We're working with the developer MetaLabs and we're going to use our metaverse setup without needing that NFT Worlds platform.
So that's great. We've managed to pivot. And then what's really exciting, I've left the best to last, is that we have a second collection coming.
Our artist, Visby, she's been working super, super hard on this.
I've been on the phone call with her. She was like, oh, I'm so tired.
I know she gets really carried away, forgets to sleep and eat like many of us do.
And she's almost put those finishing touches on our next collection.
It's going to be a PFP collection, so slightly different to our original collection that was the lovely full body collection it's going to be
arranged slightly differently as well but i even i haven't been told like all the details are really
keeping it quite secret uh all i know is the art is going to be amazing just like our first collection
and we're going to be posting some sneak peeks soon. And it's just going to be a bit different so that we can bring more value to our current community and holders involved. So that's what we've got coming up. feel like it would be really beneficial for your a project that you're really a fan of or if you
are a founder or a team member and you would love to have a well-being space for your community
this is what I love to do this is what fulfills me and makes me feel really happy and it's my
passion in life so I'm definitely happy to do that and I also hold some well-being mega spaces

I really do, Uma, and you're doing some incredible work.
I think mental health is something we should be talking about a lot more in this space
and in entrepreneurship in general.
Any founders, creators, entrepreneurs, we've got to look after ourselves
and we've got to look after each other.
I'm quite open about my struggles with mental health,
with anxiety and depression and things
that have plagued me since I was a kid.
I've got that all under control,
but every now and then that is something
that I need to face front on.
And to do that, you need to ask for help.
So that's why I love the work you're doing, Uma,
and I love the work that you guys are doing with the Humanians. yeah thank you so much for that thank you vince and and i just want
to add that none of us escapes you know everyone at some point in their life is going to find a
period in their life where they face anxiety or depression it's it's something we all have like

which was really around looking after animals
that have been abused,
because they do a lot of work in that space.
So I said, okay, well, let's create an NFT project.
Let's get you to create an NFT project that supports the ASPCA's work that they're doing with abused
animals. So they created the Starbunny's collection, and it's a very small run. There's
only 350 of these. They're 0.01 ETH, so they're super cheap. In fact, I'm going to pin a post
to the top up there because you get to see what we're doing to help support her with this so they're only 0.01 ETH 20% of
the mint and 20% of the secondary goes to the ASPCA but also she's giving back to the community

I'm really sad I had to miss Sean and Cece's mint party yesterday.
So yesterday was a really hard day at my house.
So the SOS Kids Club, the Survivors of Suicide Kids Club, is a charitable nonprofit organization
dedicated to loving and supporting the child survivors of
suicide inspired by my son who lost his dad January 6th of this year. And yesterday we had
a really hard day. It has been, it's been very hard for me watching what's happened to my child
from this time last year when he was an amazing football player.
I mean, American football. Sorry, Kiwis.
Had a lot of friends and was doing really well in school to the last year and watching the education system fail him.
And then the impact that that has had on me has been very hard because he's 15 now. So there's very little that I can actually do for him. So what I am doing is channeling all that I have to give to him that I'm unable to give to him to all of the survivors.
to just raise the most money and turn around and give it all out.
Our mission is two-pronged, the first being what's turning into a research project
that's going to hopefully be funded by lots of large private donors
and great big grants to provide in-home services for the child survivors
and their families.
And in doing that, our in-home service providers, our mental health professionals,
will be able to build stronger relationships. And with the stronger relationships, their
interventions and their therapy sessions are going to be more impactful, a lot more impactful.
lot more impactful. And so that's our first mission. And the second is to develop a game
that will have, that'll likely also be part of the research project, but it will be a game that
will be teaching emotional awareness and efforts of emotional regulation. Like that's our outcome
that we're looking for so that we can really reach kids when they're young and we can
teach them about what their emotions are. I just turned 44 and I still can't put into words some
of the things that I'm feeling. And I want to be able to help these kiddos and provide the tools
and appropriate coping mechanisms that they're going to need moving into their adult life.

So it's just been amazing sitting here on stage listening to you guys. You guys are so
awesome. Although I do have to throw a warning out for the crowd. If you call a Kiwi an Aussie,
there could actually be a legitimate fight that breaks out. And I know this from lived experience I was just messing with this
fellow and he full-on form tackled me around the waist took me down into the gravel and was like
I am a Kiwi I am not an Aussie get it into your head and yeah so I love and respect how much you guys love and respect your own tradition and heritage.
And I just had to share that.
I can tell you now, it is a friendly rivalry with Australia.
It's a very friendly rivalry, actually.
I mean, a lot of my team are Australians anyway.
But yeah, calling an Aussie a Kiwi or a Kiwi an Aussie is like the worst insult you could possibly give each of us.
So yeah, I totally hear that.
But look, honestly, this project is so important and I really feel for you.
We're giving you full flowers for the rough day that you've had and things as well.
Do know that our hearts are here for you and do know that if you ever need anyone to talk to
and things, obviously we're here as well.
But yeah, this is something that sadly impacts
a lot of people and being from New Zealand
and Sean and Cece will attest to this as well.
New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful nation.
It really is.
And I love New Zealand.
I was born and bred here, I love New Zealand. I've, you know, I was
born and bred here. And I live here, obviously. However, there is some darker sides to New Zealand
that people aren't generally aware of. And one of that is we have one of the highest teen suicide
rates, in fact, one of the highest suicide rates in the world. And it comes from being so isolated.
And so, you know, kind of removed from everyone else and also a very high domestic abuse,
particularly child abuse rate as well, which is something that we're incredibly ashamed of and
something that we need to deal with, which means that most New Zealanders have at some point
dealt with, you know, someone taking their own life as well. So, and I know certainly in my world,
that is something that has been very prominent we've lost a lot of
incredible people a lot of really beautiful people who had so much future and everything
and we just never saw any of the signs and never realized that they couldn't even speak about how
they were feeling and things as well and yeah so I just I'm getting very emotional here actually but
I I just love the work that you are doing do you have a pin post you want to put up at the top um if you pin that up to the top awesome thank you and I'll do that
here in just a second I would like to talk about that for just one second we um Mel Makes Money
has a a mission of her own in helping the veterans and and their suicide population.
And so on Saturday, we are running a 22-hour silent space

But we're running a 22-hour silent space for all of the survivors so that we can all gather together in one area across the world.

of Japan and has recently decided to leave his sacred pond to spread goodness and kindness in
the world. So the fundamentals of the project are unique tokenomics and engaging incentives.
And talking about the utility which is a stamp card So Freezer's NFT holders will have the ability to earn a random stamp NFT as a reward for participation, engagement and participation in the contest that we held every time.
So we have a pro contest, fan art contest going on from 20th October to 26th october where you can show your you know our rc

So we had those reported and we had those taken down unfortunately open sea also removed or took down our official
open sea account and i think that really affected our mint um so you know people were not able to
see their chickens um in open sea but they can see that on their wallets and on our website.
But still, I think that affected our numbers.
But anyway, we are not giving up.
We are unstoppable because our cost, we have a cost.
We have a good cost of why we are doing this project.
So our project is a charity-driven NFT.
We are using the minting proceeds from each flavored collections
to help chicken farmers worldwide with their farm repairs,
chicken feed, and chicken purchases.
So our tagline is always to help feed the world. And our team, as a matter
of fact, is composed of diverse individuals coming from different parts of the world.
We have moderators coming from Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, our founder is from Florida so really um so we're we're we're kind of helping
not just one you know one um particular um place but we are looking forward to going to different places and look for chicken farmers to help, you know, with whatever they need.
So in terms of our collections, we have a total of 3,100 NFTs and those are divided into four flavors.

So what we are minting right now,

which is a huge problem but unfortunately she's stuck in a class and can't get out of it so she's
getting really frustrated so she messaged me in the background and said she won't be able to make it today so she will be here next week and the other
one is Caleb from NA AFDAO is I'm not sure if you're in here Caleb but I know Caleb was really
struggling with a nasty flu as well so there's a few kind of major projects out at the moment
thanks to well thanks to the flu um so anyway
I'm going to reset the room tell you a little bit about the Christmas Ninjas and then we'll go
into any of the prize draws from the people that have just come up and then we'll go into our next
batch which will start with uh quit bitching which I'm really excited about by the way um but first
of all for those that haven't heard uh I'm Vince Warnock. I'm one of the founders of The Christmas Ninjas.
This is a very personal and very exciting project for me.
It came from a children's book that I wrote about 15 years ago when we tried to tell my son about Santa Claus,
and he just looked at me and went, nah.
In fact, to be honest, he looked at me with a look of,
are you an idiot, Dad?
Do you really think I'm going to fall for that crap?
So as a four-year-old, that was hilarious.
So I turned around.
We thought, right, we're going to have to tell him the truth.
So my wife and I told him, look, you can't tell your friends, but Santa Claus ain't real.
It's just something that parents make up to make their kids behave.
And a few things happened from that.
Number one, he turned around and said the coolest thing out of a four-year-old's mouth I've ever heard,
which was, he goes, look, Dad dad if you're going to make up stories make
them interesting and he goes and put you see his like eyes moving around go put put put ninjas in
them he's trying to think of the coolest thing he ever could um and i just thought that was awesome
and said yes absolutely we're going to do that um and the other thing that happened was it made me
realize how much i really didn't like this kind of culture that was being created around Christmas, but also around life in general, which is, hey, kids, if you do what you are told, if you behave yourself if you do what your leaders and your employers and everything tell you, then you'll have a job and you'll be able to, you know, get your pay rise and get a bonus and all this kind of stuff.
There is so much more to life than that.
There is so much more that we should aspire to be like than just towing the line or doing what someone tells us.
So that really inspired me.
And we put together the Christmas ninja story.
And this is where we combined all the Christmas traditions. So you've got little baby Jesus in
the manger, you've got the wise men coming down to them, and you've got the Christmas ninja
stealthily following them. And when she gets to the manger, her job is to protect baby Jesus from
an assassination attempt from Santa and his evil ninja elf clan. So long story short, Santa gets
defeated, him and the elves get banished to the North Pole, and there's penance once a year,
they have to deliver presents to all the kids. But now the Christmas ninja embarks on her new
journey, and that is to roam the land looking for people that demonstrate the best in humanity.
So demonstrate the traits that we should aspire to be like. And these are the five traits of the Christmas ninja, which are honor, which are kindness, courage, compassion, and selflessness.
And when she finds those people, she deems them worthy, bestows upon them a gift, and then they become a Christmas ninja themselves.
So that was the story that we created.
I never did the artwork for that because if you've ever seen my artwork well you'll know why I'm not an artist but also it started our family tradition which is
where every year we would pick a person each that we think demonstrates the best in humanity and we
will get them an anonymous gift from the Christmas ninja we'll have the full Christmas ninja story
in there and say you've been deemed worthy because of whatever it is that they did.
And on Christmas morning, we had to get up.
We're allowed to open one present each.
Then we had to race out and drop off these gifts without getting seen.
And it is a lot of fun.
Honestly, if you ever want a family tradition for your kids, that's a huge amount of fun.
I would highly encourage this.
My kids took it really seriously, not just the delivery of the presents. They actually took the selection of the people that are worthy really seriously. My son would create spreadsheets of all of his friends,
trying to work out which of them deserves it more than the others.
So fast forward 15 years later, that actually spread far more than we realized. We found a
whole pile of people here in New Zealand where I'm based that had been deemed worthy of the
Christmas Ninja, and yet I'd never met these people so obviously others had picked it up and run with it as well since then we've
found people in the US and Canada UK now South Africa who have been deemed worthy of the Christmas
Ninja as well and that got me thinking uh first of all got me thinking I need to put the book out
there I need to get the artwork done for the book and actually publish it so that we can inspire
people to want to demonstrate these behaviors to actually want to be like this.
So I teamed up with an incredible artist, just a beautiful artist out of Australia,
and the two of us sat down talking about the book, and within seconds we realised
we need to do something so much more with this.
And one of the things we realised is if we look back over the 15 years
that me and my family have been doing this tradition, it's had a really profound impact on the way we see other people
and this makes sense when you understand neuroscience when you understand that your
brain is constantly trying to filter information it's bombarded with information through all your
five senses every second of every minute of every day and what it's trying to do is work out of all
that information that is bombarding you,
which of that information do I allow into your brain?
In other words, which of this
is going to help me to thrive or survive?
So when you're consistently and constantly
looking for the best in other people,
guess what happens?
Your brain rewires itself to show you that everywhere
because that is now relevant information.
And what we realized is
we see people in a completely different light. When you're constantly looking for the good
and the best in other people, you will see it everywhere. Not just in the people that
you are friends with, not just the people in your circle, but people that you may have different
political views, maybe different religious views, different worldviews to. You are going to see the
potential and the goodness in everyone. So we thought, let's create an NFT series that is actually
based around that neuroscience. So we created the Christmas Ninjas. And the idea is when you
hold a Christmas Ninja, you're going to get a companion NFT e-drop to you multiple times a
year. It's called a recognition NFT. And that is for you to gift to someone to recognize and reward them for what
makes them an incredible human being. And then we realized we obviously we can't do this alone.
So we put together a fully doxed team, a really talented team of people with real world experiences.
Most of them are entrepreneurs. They have their own businesses. They're all out there in the real
world creating this kind of success. So we put seven of us together as founders.
I'm the only male on that team, and that is by design.
We want to be part of the solution to the underrepresentation of women in this space.
And then we put together an extended team as well.
I think there's about 15 in the team all up now.
And then we started to look at how we can add the most amount of value to our community.
So we built our utility essentially on three
pillars. The first pillar is around personal development. And as well as obviously when you
hold a Christmas ninja, being able to reprogram your brain, we're also going to enable you to
have access to my in real life world, which is, you know, as I said, I'm the host of the Chasing
the Insights podcast. And it's a podcast where I regularly, like multiple times a week, interview experts
from all over the world and things like building resilience and things like dealing with imposter
syndrome and dealing with anxiety and stress and sleep disorder, all these kinds of things.
I talk to experts that can help you to be more compassionate, to be more kind, to be more
courageous, to be more selfless and honoring. So we want to, we've set up, I was going to say we
want to, we've set up the Christmas Ninja Academy, and that's where I can bring in these experts to
train every single one of you. In fact, it was amazing. I went out to my network and just said,
hey, we're doing this thing in the Web3 space. We really want to be able to empower any of these ninja holders
to be able to train them to, you know,
and it was a resounding yes from my entire community.
They were like, we're in.
We're totally going to make ourselves available.
So that got me really excited.
The next pillar that we're going to build on our utility on is social good.
And this is something that's very important to me.
I used to be the chief marketing officer at Cigna Insurance. I actually gave up that job. I gave up that ridiculous amount of
pay and bonuses and all the cool stuff we're doing because I was unfulfilled. And I was
unfulfilled because I wasn't helping people. So we want to make sure that anything I work on from
now until the end is going to actually impact this world in a positive way. So we're going to build it on a utility of social good.
We've got a project called the Lone Ninja Project that we're going to birth out of this,
that we're going to fund, which helps children around Christmas time that are in orphanages,
hospices, hospitals, etc.
But also we're going to launch the International Recognition Awards, which is where we hold
up those people that you normally don't see.
So the mums and dads
that tirelessly give up their time, their energy and their money to help the homeless or to help
young parents, the people that put their life on the line regularly for you and I, the people that
put themselves on the front line to make sure that you and I are safe and that we're alive.
All of those people that you don't normally hear about, we want to hold them up, shine a spotlight
on them and say, this is what we should aspire to be like as humans.
Forget trying to aspire to be like a sports person, a celebrity, an entertainer, any of those kind of things.
And this is what makes humanity so great.
So we really want to give them the recognition that they deserve.
And then the third pillar is entertainment.
We're actually a fun brand.
If you've seen the artwork, my PFP there is part of our artwork.
It's absolutely gorgeous.
Our designer's done an incredible job.
And the community are really excited because we've got an apparel line coming up as well.
We've got partnership with Donkey Kicks.
We were bringing the Christmas Ninja shoes.
And we're going to use that to also help to give shoes to kids around Christmas time. But we've also got what else we got, we got the comic book series
coming up with obviously any Christmas Ninja holder is going to get a copy of the Christmas
Ninja book as well. Plus, we're working towards a whole pile of additional storylines, including
the big epic Age of the Dragon one, which I'm super excited about, but can't tell you anything
about yet or my team will kill me. But that's where we add gamification into the NFTs as well and then also working
towards an animated TV series that we really want to bring to life with a lot of the expanded
storylines around the Christmas Ninja lore. So anyway so that's the Christmas Ninjas we are
minting at the moment our golden tickets so it's not our main collection that's coming up later
this year but what we'd want to do is give you access to the Christmas Ninja universe. So we've got the golden tickets,
which is basically going to give you additional traits and rewards and everything like that when
you mint our main collection. But also, it's going to give you a chance to win a whole pile

I am Caleb. I am the NAR father. I am the leader of NAR's Fuck DAO.
And our DAO is set up to empower and educate, empower, remunerate, and repeat.
So what that means is that our DAO, we partnered with Nonfungible Art, which I know many people on this panel and other projects have been partnered with them to be able to create the ultimate e-commerce site where we pool all of the members' NFTs and create an ultimate searchable gallery to use their NFTs on merchandise through NFA and
sharing 95% of the operating profits on an ongoing basis directly with the members.
What I see and what I've seen as far as on how we've done business for the last three, 400 years is it's been set up completely transactional.
Yes, there are partnerships and there are things where people kind of help each other,
but it was really everyone fighting against each other and living the zero-sum mindset
where in order for me to gain, you had to lose.
And I see in Web3 that we are decentralizing the means of production.
So it's actually an opposite. We're having the direct opposite of the industrial revolution
by putting all of this power of creativity and generating assets, because that's ultimately what
all of the things are in the digital realm.
They're digital assets just like physical assets.

So I want to empower in order to help them to monetize.
So I have 20 years experience in the cannabis industry as an entrepreneur.
I've built multiple brands, owned licenses, sold licenses.
So I'm bringing in that level of expertise coming into the organization in order to set it up that way.
So there's going to be a founding council that everything is done via group vote. So I've set up the initial structure of how this is going to start. And then moving
forward, the community is going to members and helping them on their business
plans, helping them to develop their projects, creating additional projects underneath the
DAO that then every one of the members benefits from.
Because it ultimately is, how can we share more?
I really go into every interaction that I have here on Web3 asking, how can I share
more than I am right now? And that has served me, served me very well. So I got an amazing team of founders and builders together.

lot of work with Vince. I did a podcast with him as well. And I'm really, I just want to see how can I collaborate more
and what can I do to empower my members.
So as far as Metaverse lands, my collection's on Solana.
It is going to be minting at the end of the month
and the Gnar list is going to be one sole and the public sale is going to be two
sole. So I have secured an Isles of Meta, which comes with a thousand digital acres that that is
I've donated to the DAO for use in the DAO to create their hub, to create the partner or member hubs in order to rent space out,
create opportunity for having events, different games.
There's any number of directions that we can go.
But ultimately, I want to provide the platform and empower the individuals who become in the DAO to create it and then let them sell it and sell backend side, which unfortunately that's what we've seen in the NFT space over the last
year.
We saw a lot of collections that sold out and then they have really poor
management because ultimately they weren't looking at it as a business.
So what I, I see, I'm, I'm, I,
I see a lot of parallels in what's happening in Web3 to what I experienced in the cannabis industry of rules constantly changing, a unique opportunity to help to impart as much knowledge as I can.
I'm a teacher at heart. I teach cannabis in community college, which I love telling people.
people. And yeah, that's, that's me. So I have a lot more to share, but you can hear that my voice

But it's the fact that the IRS is expanding its tax language to explicitly include NFTs.
So in an updated draft of its 2022 form, the 1080 form, the IRS in the US has expanded its language related to cryptocurrency to include more general digital assets, explicitly mentioning non-fungible tokens as well. So this is an interesting move
because if you haven't seen the legislation that's coming out of the EU at the moment,
they've spent a lot of time trying to define what an NFT is, trying to define what a digital asset
is. Like, is it an asset? Is it a security? What actually is it? And to be fair, can't really come to an agreement on a lot of that as well.
But it's interesting to see that the IRS are now adding this definition
and mentioning non-fungible tokens in there as well.
So let's see who we – actually, Caleb, before your voice goes completely,
your voice goes completely is anything you want to kind of expand on this uh oh as far as on the

topic or just on about my on the topic or what on the topic yeah um yeah regulation is coming it's

And the fact that the new head of the SEC is coming down hard, like he's doing the investigation
into Bored Ape Yacht Clubs, into Yuga Labs, basically saying that everything they're doing
is a security.
Now, the fact is, Bored Ape Yacht Club have done nothing wrong.
They've not been accused of anything.
He's just investigating all of this.
Very unusual that that investigation
would be made public straightaway without any accusation of wrongdoing. Plus, also,
there's a whole pile of things behind it which really do look like posturing from the head
of the SEC and really him trying to position himself to be basically the head of the Treasury
in the US. And that to me breaks my heart because that means that his own personal agenda and
his own kind of ambitions are getting in the way of actually progress in this space as well.
Caleb? Yeah, regulation I see is good because that means longevity. That means
legitimacy in the industry. That's just one of the things that I see. But
in the industry. That's just one of the things that I see. But you're going to see this. The
executive branch likes to just declare that it has authority over things. We've been dealing
with that for the last 70 years of a growing and growing executive branch. So it's going to be up
to people fighting it in court if things do happen. But this was clearly a message. There's no other reason of why it wouldn't have been made public of
you better make sure that you're keeping track of things
because we are going to come after you.
So coming from the cannabis background where taxes are a funky issue,
I would recommend just get a good tax accountant
and just keep records, you know.

The interesting thing for me around the SEC, though, was the way that they approached like the Kardashian stuff as well.
And some of the other cases that are out there going to the media first, making a big press thing out of it rather than than actually dealing with the issue and then talking about it, was a very different position.
And that for me was very much grandstanding, very much was look at us.
And the worrying comment out of the head of the SEC was the fact that he considers Ethereum
to be under US jurisdiction, because according to him, the majority of the largest nodes
and the largest kind of staking is done in the US.
So therefore, all of Ethereum comes under their jurisdiction.
It's decentralized.
I don't agree with that.
So it's, yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what happens in this space anyway.
But that regulation is definitely coming and it needs to come as well.

so many politicians just have no clue about crypto.

And honestly, like from what I've heard, a lot of them really like are ambivalent or don't care or are slightly open to, you know, letting crypto do whatever it wants.

But I've caught it from time to time, like cop stops or whatever.
They're not anti-crypto either.
So I think, you know, as far as regulations and government's concerned, I wouldn't be too worried. Like, I want to put a little positivity out there just as far as, like, I don't, you know, the whisperings, the rumblings, I don't see a lot of, like, anti-crypto hate in the government.

especially a lot of people who will eventually want to make money from it,
so they're not really trying to take it down.
Also, as far as ETH being under, the SEC guy is such a hilarious little clown.

it for bills and food and all that kind of stuff, which is a bit of a dick move, but okay, that's,
you know, they had the jurisdiction to do that. But then people didn't stop there. They decided,
well, let's just actually give them Bitcoin and Ethereum and everything.
So they just started basically donating cryptocurrency to all these people that are protesting.
And to see Justin Trudeau on TV standing up there saying, I just want you to all know,
like he tried to be all very staunch about it.
He said, I want you to know if you donate money to that, we will seize it.
He said, if you donate cryptocurrency to these people, we will seize that cryptocurrency and we will shut you down.
And people were like, that's not how cryptocurrency works.
You can't actually see. How are you going to be seizing this?
It doesn't quite work that way. So, yeah, it's interesting.
And we saw this with social media when, you know, Zuckerberg was rightfully getting grilled in the Senate and things around some of the dodgy stuff that Facebook are doing.
You just saw some of the ignorance of people in there, asking them, why do I see these dodgy ads on my Facebook?
It's because you've been to dodgy sites, you dodgy politician.
But they just don't understand how these things work.
And that's dangerous when these are the people passing the regulation now fortunately we do have some pretty smart people um that are
looking into these things as well so and i'm all for regulation i'm all for keeping people
as safe as possible um but yeah back to the irs thing so yeah definition now they've actually
explicitly included nfts in their 1040 forms. Quit bitching.

stuff that we've got through capital gains tax or all these other taxes and that. It's just a
fact of life. Although our government did turn around. I don't know if Sean and Cece heard this
one. Our government turned around and said, there's an opportunity here because we tax the hell out
of anyone who earns a good wage in New Zealand.
So if you earn over $180,000 here, you are on a 39% tax bracket.
But additionally, there's all these additional other taxes and things like that.
So they nab you at every kind of step of the way, and that's fine.
But what they decided was, despite all of that, a lot of people have accumulated wealth.
So a lot of people have accumulated assets and wealth and things like that. So the government turned around and said,
well, how can we get our hands on that now? Because obviously the tax hasn't taken away
everything. So they wanted to introduce what's called a wealth tax, which meant if you had over
a certain amount of money in your account or a certain amount of value of assets, then they were
just going to basically bill you.
Understandably, that got a massive backlash from a lot of New Zealanders who were like,
hey, I've already paid tax on all of this, and now you're going to tax me again.
That's not incredibly, that's not very fair at all.

the humanians, Uma is a clinical,
I keep forgetting what your actual title is there, Uma,
but Uma does a lot of work in the mental health space
and she's an incredible human being.
But one of the things is I am quite open about the fact that I struggle with my own mental health issues and I know a
lot of us in here do but one of the things I had to learn that was really important that
you have good days and you have bad days and actually that's okay it's actually okay to have
a bad day and it's okay sometimes to have what I call dark thoughts, to have thoughts that aren't necessarily aligned.
And sometimes we need to actually try not to hide from those things,
but actually to understand them.
So as part of my kind of processing a lot of the stuff I'm doing,
I've been playing around with some different things.
And one of the things I wanted to do is I wanted to create a one-of-one series.
So a series of NFTs that are generated by AI
because I suck at artwork,
but generated from AI that are really kind of promoting us
to think about our thoughts,
our thought process and things as well,
and actually to understand what we're feeling.
So that was really important to me.
So I created the Dark Thoughts series,
which you'll see a pin post at the top there.
That is a one of one.

which is really to challenge

So we have been doing a ton of stuff.
Shilling in these spaces has gotten very difficult for me because back in February, we launched as just a traditional NFT project.
We started with Bobby Rabbits. It's a collection of a thousand rabbits on the Solana blockchain.
But, you know, we quickly realized that this isn't a place where we can come in and create just a regular old brand and make a video game with the money we raised or like clothing or whatever and have it
be sustainable. We just kind of like had this realization that like, yo, we're kind of pretty
good at building stuff on this Solana, you know, ecosystem and all these people needed help doing
it. And so we really set out to start building tools for Solana, similar to how Famous Foxes
works. You know, we've got a wallet cleaner.
We've got bulk NFT sending tools, stuff like that on BobbyRabbits.com.
But then we kept pushing the boundaries further and further to see what we could do.
So out of that came Ed Fox, which is kind of what I'm here to talk to you guys about today.
One of my friends that I've known for over 10 years, you know, he he supported me when we launched Bobby Rabbits.
He was a Bobby Rabbits holder. And, you know, he was constantly picking my brain about NFT stuff because he's an artist himself.
He's a designer. He wanted to get involved in this space.
And so him and his kids, he's got three kids.
He came up with a concept that we're going to invite another character into our universe.
And that's that's Ed Fox.
So as we know, foxes and rabbits are not
typically friendly with each other so we have this little joke going on that you know rabbits
are friends not food um you know the foxes are just this kind of wily character the same as in
looney tunes you know you have like a coyote in the road runner um so we have that little fun
action going on but ed fox has really turned into this entire, like, really strong back-end coding ecosystem.
We're trying all these new tools.
So one of the things why this blank fox is posted up there is because we minted some of our own foxes.
And we started to drop these basic, you know, blank slate foxes on the floor on Magic Eden.

bobbyrabbits.com and you click on partners and then click on add fox, we have a couple of tools
there. One of them is staking. So every fox earns one field coin per day. And then with those field

connect your wallet, you can pick which fox you want to change and which trait you want to add to it. You can shop for fox traits like new shirts, new body
colors, new backgrounds, new eyes, new accessories and the Foxmart and spend your field coin.
One of the reasons I'm late, kind of running late today was we're dealing with all this magic Eden
fallout where they're just playing all these shenanigans. And, you know, as a lot of people are aware, they made
royalties optional, which a lot of people are upset about. And they tried to pose the solution
of like, well, you know, what if there's other ways for revenue, like you can sell your holders
more traits. And that kind of made me a little mad because I'm like, you know, we're not going
to ask our holders that invested in these foxes to give us more money. We want them to be rewarded
and to use their rewards. So Ed Fox is all about incentivizing our holders to participate. And for
that, they are rewarded with field coins, which they can then use to upgrade their fox. So, you
know, once you got a fox, you're in, we're never going to ask you for more money. You know,
you can earn rewards and you can upgrade your Fox with those rewards. So,
you know,
we kind of take this approach with all the projects that Bobby rabbits has
partnered with. We're about to add another one to our catalog.
We've got five different projects that we've partnered with and build

But our holders that come in and get these foxes and these rabbits, you know, they're going to be early investors and they're going to get to have fun and they're going to prove that our technology works
so that we can flip around
and make these big companies foot the bill.

Cool. Well, thank you so much for joining us here, man. I had the pleasure of meeting
Koa very recently um through a
completely other platform through podcasting actually uh but heard about some of the exciting
things that they're doing in this space and holy crap you need to hear about this so i'll hand it
over to you man let us know what you're doing yeah absolutely uh hi everybody um so we are
i would say a couple of weeks away from launching our platform core, Satudu.
It's a unique NFT marketplace on the Polygon chain at the moment, and we plan to expand to other chains.
But what makes it unique is that we have a cool technology where we're able to split NFT sales, meaning that not fracturing, meaning that you can create partnerships within the
NFT space and within the NFT collaborators and be able to put in different percentages
within the NFTs.
And then upon the transaction, you split.
Really simple.
You put up to 100 different wallets on there and you would split it 100 different times
within one single transaction.
The second one is that you're able to do it in a – we have an advanced royalty system as well,
and you're able to do the same thing, except that you're also able to put a timer around the royalty.
So then all the royalty doesn't have to be in perpetuity.
Like currently in the system right now, everything is in lifetime.
If you want to do a 10% royalty in the first year, you can.
And then the second year you do an 8%, you know, and so forth and so forth.
And then by the time you hit the fifth year, you make it do a 2% for the rest of the, for the next thousand years you want to do, right?
And so that's another thing.
And then last but not least is that we, you know, we come from the entertainment space for music and the films and everything else.
So we thought that, well, if you're a filmmaker or a musician or you're looking to raise funds,
well, the first time NFT buyers are really your early adopters.
They're really the investors at the end of the day, right?
And so why aren't we giving them token equity, right, at the very least?
So what we did was we enabled a really one-click setup where you're able to enable first-time buyers a royalty with you, with the creator.
So let's imagine owning a board ape, right?
If you bought it for $800 or whatever it was at the time, and owning 2% of that board aid with the creators,
wouldn't that be something?
So we enabled that in our platform and enabled creators.
So you need to also be able to identify it too.
So right on the collection side of things,
you're able to see the NFT,
and on the top right corner of the image, it says royalty.
That means that when get when you're
when you look into investing into that into that nft well you know that you could be an equity
owner with of that token and so we thought that was a really exciting thing as well and um and
but then that's just the technology side what we're doing in the nft space is that
well you know we're hand-holding people into the space.
My background is that I run several different businesses.
We're in the media space for film, TV, music, commercials, and everything else.
We also own an 8,000 square foot building in New Jersey, blah, blah, blah.
I know what it takes to onboard the client and to create trust in the space and web
three has this untrusting i guess uh it's a factor because of the rug pulls and you know and all the
media in the bad media and the bad actors that that's in the space but so what we wanted to do was that, you know, we're onboarding people like delis, mom and pop shops, people that are that don't have opportunities or don't know how to get onto e-commerce in Web2 and using the NFT, using our marketplace as the what we call Web3 commerce.
e-commerce and um yeah it's very real basically it's uh we all know how to mint and so why don't
you translate the minting into an ebay like mindset so you know you're selling shoes then
sell the shoes and then have a mechanism to send it over to people right so we've so we're using
unlockables um as a way and then creating some
an ecosystem an application that actually um i would say uh enables them to do that type of
commerce in web3 so that's in a nutshell in like three minutes or two minutes whatever that is
no there's a there's a pretty damn good concise version of it um i love this i love the kind of
split royalties aspect of this as well you're solving an actual real problem there for people
and not everyone knows how to modify contracts enough to be able to do a lot of this stuff
automated and the fact that you can do it all in the one um transaction essentially uh and the
overtime stuff this is awesome man i love what you guys are working on thank you thank
you you know what i mean i i look at it this way too so you know being in the industry you know
you're talking about like photographers and musicians that's you know we're talking about
digital ownership right uh but what does that actually really mean in that space it means that
you know how do you own your own your own content well it's Well, you've got to be able to create royalty distribution.
But then the way it is currently today, it's just kind of like one-to-one, right?
I mean, okay, OpenSea might be able to do a split royalty up to four wallets,
but they don't do it in a timer basis.
There's other issues around it.
But our side of things is that the minute you make the purchase, you see it.
You see it right on the polygon scan, at least.
You're able to see the splits immediately.
And in my opinion, that's something that could go translate into licensing, translates into stock photography, translate into music licensing and film syncing.
I mean, in that world, for those who don't know, for those who do know, we know how complicated that is.
And I think that we are trying to solve that problem now the only issue is that how do we get that industry to be on board with that stuff right
and that's that's that's the next part of problem solving yeah definitely man and i love the fact
you're focused on the polygon network as well um obviously christmas ninjas and you and i have
spoken about this our original mint was on Polygon. We're now on Ethereum.
But I'm still very bullish on Polygon as a platform.
And if you look at what's happening in the Polygon space at the moment, there is some very big news that means that Polygon, it's here for the long haul.
It really is. I mean, you look at the Disney Accelerator program, the fact that it's exclusively with Polygon.
You look at some of the big game development stuff that's coming out that's exclusively with Polygon. You look at some of the big game development stuff that's coming out that's exclusively with Polygon. You've got Tom Brady and all of the NFL stuff that he's
doing is all based on Polygon as well. And even this morning, we read out in the news part of
the news talk and show, we talked about the fact that the Reddit, you know, 3 million people
creating a wallet through the Reddit kind of crypto wallet and 2.5 million of them um buying these nfts all
of which of course is on the polygon network so there's some huge development happening in that
space and yeah yeah so yeah so the fact you focus on that i think even bigger than that is starbucks
starbucks using redeemables that's huge imagine. Imagine Starbucks on every marketplace.
There's going to be a big draw because if they're using that as rewards to buy coffee, I mean, they're single-handedly getting people
into the NFT space because they're using rewards to buy coffee.
And I think that's huge.
And for a marketplace like us, yeah, I mean,
it could drive millions of people right into a
market right absolutely man and i like that too because that's kind of dovetailing on something
else which is you know starbucks is obviously trying to um kind of reshape loyalty schemes
um so when you've got the the leader of reshaping loyalty schemes around nfts working exclusively on
polygon it does set a
precedent so yeah man i love this i'm i'm very excited about this so you guys are coming out
you said a couple of weeks away is it that you're uh minting we uh we've been in the bug fixing
stage but we literally released a new version today where i got to review it and and the
technology really really works thank god we had some bugs and it was concerning to me,
but it's been fixed today.
And so we're in that stage of,
we'll probably be launching in a couple of weeks.
I think there's a few more final stages with the developers
and I just want to make sure that that's tweaked.
And we're going to go live beta.
So we call it Stututa Beta 1.0.
And we will love to encourage people to get on the platform, learn, mint.
We're going to be doing a lot of education around that.
And then, but more so, not just on minting side, because anyone that's in the space knows how to do that.
But it's more so how to take that into the real world business and how to use it in a real world

So anyone I see that's actually solving real world problems, it just, it excites me.
I love seeing the different approaches that people make.
Because we always talk about creativity being in the arts world, you know, creativity being, you know, art itself, being music, being video and all this kind of stuff, which it is, absolutely is.
However, art also exists in technology and it exists in creative approaches to, you know, different problems and solutions and things. Just to show how incredibly geeky I am, one of my relaxation pastimes, one of the things I do for self-care is I read NASA submission papers.
So what NASA does is they say, hey, we want to colonize Venus, for example, which if you know the challenges of colonizing Venus, it's next to impossible.
However, it means that people submit all these things to solve little problems within it.
Like, for example, the fact that Venus's atmosphere is so corrosive, you can't put any metal there because it will just disintegrate.
So actually going down to instead of obviously you need some kind of way to report back to Earth and all this kind of stuff or report back to whatever.
And you can't do that if you have no technology there. So what they did instead is they proposed to use mirrors
and use mirrors to actually send signals to a satellite
that sits around Venus that can decode that
basically based on Morse code.
So I just thought it was really interesting,
these kind of solutions to problems.
So I get really excited about creativity
in the technology space, man.
And what you guys are doing is freaking awesome.
So thank you.
Yeah, I mean, I think that's entrepreneurship.
I think that's all entrepreneurship, right? It's all,
it's all about solving problems, you know, and I appreciate you hosting this type of space to,
you know, to create these opportunities for people to hear about how we are trying to solve problems.

you're actually working hard, you're bringing something to life, you're actually trying to
create something that adds value to people that creates community that makes an impact in this
world. I just want to give you all the flowers and give you all the props for that because
that is, that is incredible, especially in these challenging times as well.
So all of these projects that are presented here today are ones that are going to be here for the long haul.
These are people that have the credentials, they have the capability, they have the skills, and they have the passion and the team behind them to be able to deliver on the promises they give you. And if they're out there doing the hard yards now, shilling in here with all of us,

turning up regularly on spaces and things like that as well,
in the middle of a bear market,
in the middle of almost a global recession,
those are the people you want to be following.
