hi everyone hello yeah i can hear you loud and clear
okay awesome so uh very excited to have you on board could you tell us a bit about yourself
and what is tropical swap what are you guys building
sure of course so starting i would like to start about what's tropical uh well tropical
swap is the only one decks we call it as it offers different arrays of products
starting of course from the exchange and then ranging also to yield farming launchpad
and also other features and well talking a bit about my background so i'm the general
manager of tropical swap i have several years of experience in founding and growing startups
more precisely 12 years working uh in web 2 and 3 in web trip in web 3 and uh with me there's a team
there's wolf there uh behind the tropical swap uh main uh um profile and uh hey wolf
uh wolf would you like to i mean can you can you speak would you like also to introduce yourself or
yeah i'm utkarsh i'm the cmo of fire and uh at fire we are building a sustainable layer one
a digital playground on which really interesting applications can be built and our mission is
to really integrate sustainability with the way uh the blockchain ecosystem is shaped by creating
something called a sustainability proof of stake and what we do is that we really encourage
uh enterprises startups governments to make sustainability part of their operating process
and based on that they're given a score and sustainability uh aligned companies
get a huge uh bump on the score because of that so our mission is to you know combine the virtues of
capitalism with uh environmental consciousness and really create a new novel so for us our success
depends on what kind of organizations and what kind of applications interesting ones such as yours build
on us integrate with us and we want to scale our community get lots of interesting daps to build on us
and truly take steps to make uh you know environmentalism core of uh doing good business so we really
believe that you know there's a lot of uh nobility in you know taking care of the environment but also
people should be able to make sustainable economic rewards so at the intersection of that we find ourselves
that we find ourselves in the future and we find ourselves in the future we find ourselves in the future
i hope that's audible and clear and maybe you want to uh you know tell us about your various products and so forth
yeah so thank you for your overview first of all and so going on the focus on what is about to bring
tropical swap on fire chain so uh as we released in also our partnership announcement our goal is to
become uh the leading liquidity hub of fire uh offering uh users developers and all to all the community
the possibility not only to trade and exchange tokens but at the same time also to launch their own daps
so uh we are going to be live uh when uh the minute will be available for everyone um to in with the exchange
part of tropical swap which is the core of our ecosystem and this is made of v2 amm decks and
talking also about the products we are building in order to
uh uh uh to release on fire uh we are working also on the launchpad which will come actually
immediately uh after the next release so uh in a couple of days and it will be available for everyone
uh from people willing to launch uh their uh own projects protocols or ideas uh we would like also to
offer uh total support uh technical not just sort of technical in uh in uh in launching uh your own
protocols and tokens and uh other than that we will also in probably incentivize uh the farms with new
tokens and uh but this will i mean we have to wait and see also how the community evolves how the
ecosystem of builders grow and evolve inside the blockchain in order to build some nice new
partnerships and to cooperate in order to give value to the community that is amazing um tell us a bit
about your team sure so uh behind tropical there is the team of 12 people so i am the general manager
overseeing the whole project and also head of marketing of the protocol uh we have three
developers two back-end developers and one front-end developer and uh other than that we have also
uh a full marketing team out of seven made of seven people uh with product designers ux designer and
an artist all all you see in our website and not only also my pfp and so on are all made by our
artists so uh we also of course copywriter social media manager and our community manager wolf which
is here of course as well and uh uh other than that also the business uh team the business developers
okay he's here i'm here i was i was i was requesting an invitation to speak for so long and i was just
like oh how do i get in touch i couldn't accept the first invitation to co-host and when i left and came
back here no one would invite me so yeah but here i am yes i'm here yeah thank you wonderful since
you're here tell us a bit about yourself and maybe both of us both of you can continue introducing
yourselves yeah fantastic yeah no my well yeah as you can see right now i am the uh i am the
impartial face of the pineapple of tropical swap but really if you find me in the any of the discord you
find me as wolf i'm wolf everywhere that i go i i'm in a lot of places i mean i've been around in
crypto for a good few years and defy as well and uh i've been around been around the block you could
say like we've all been knocked around a little bit especially in the last couple of years of bear
market and everything else that's been going on but here we are and uh yeah we're about to get tropical
on everybody here in fire so tell us a bit about the partnership how do you guys see it come together
how did you get to know about fire it's always good to tell the listeners a story and possible
integration scenarios yeah yeah sure uh go for it go for it jason yeah no go for it man i was just
going to say it's a shame that pulp isn't here as well because yeah it was with between you and pulp i
think there's this all kicked off but yeah go for it yeah thank you so um we we came across your
blockchain while doing uh researches on emerging blockchains uh where we could deliver our products
and protocol and uh well about our partnership what uh we would like to to do as i said a bit before
is uh established not only as the product with our products as decks but also uh with support to
to the ecosystem growth so developing new products according to the community sentiments to what's
needed or what people need what what's what's wanted and also give support to other developers co-build
uh cooperating building uh daps or any type of other product uh together and uh yeah so what we would
like i would say in just a few words is to uh grow the defy ecosystem of fire chain yeah from my side i
think i mean it obviously it represents a fantastic opportunity here when you're talking about newly
emerging blockchains and starting from the ground level it's a fantastic opportunity to build and and
to help each other out to to bounce off each other and and basically create something fantastic and i
think there's a lot of services that can be offered again with with newly emerging blockchains i think one
of the hardest things to do is to find uh find places where you can exchange tokens and where you can
bridge tokens and i think that's something that we'll be able to uh to establish on the blockchain and
and you know it creates a family

now oh okay where did i cut out i'm sorry uh like five seconds ago five seconds ago okay so maybe
i i was just saying it's like you said at the beginning when you were introducing yourself as
well you know what what you want on on fire is to establish a building place for new projects to
create lots of daps and and we really appreciate that kind of enthusiasm for for foundation level
project creation and new building so yeah it's a great opportunity
that's amazing and you know like uh with regards to uh our side as well as i mentioned we're constantly
looking for growing various parts of the ecosystem and defy is something we strongly believe in
because as uh you know the use cases for remittances borderless transfers uh exchange rate fluctuations
grow so the defy ecosystem is likely to grow in the long run so we are also really bullish about the
space i was uh wondering if you guys want to elaborate on how in a phase wise manner how do you see fire and
tropical swap scaling their partnership
oh defy is ever expanding like the universe is it not it's going to be
be i think within defy we can create a bigger universe than the one we live in no doubt
yeah exactly so um to answer the question we would like to identify with you guys which are
the possible best products and the needed products by the community and start working from there from
these angles to increase uh the adoption of fire networks so i guess working closely together to
uh integrate an easy to use bridge uh to bridge funds from other chains to fire then of course at
the same time offering the as our decks as a liquidity hub where people can very easily exchange tokens
for other new tokens and so on and be also the place where new tokens can be launched from
min coins to uh structured products to uh to other type of protocols so uh we would like to uh closely work
with you guys in order to achieve these goals yeah i think i think there's a lot of services that we can bring
i agree there is a lot of uh potential here for collaboration um let's actually you know uh move more
towards uh some questions that you have for us or uh like you know i'm particularly interested in you
telling us why you chose fire what are the benefits that are for the fire community so that would be
really interesting well uh i can immediately tell that the i mean since we are already using your mainnet
uh of course uh we actually uh actually maybe i didn't tell this but um we already deployed on fire guys
so yeah that was that was the key net information i was working on
exactly so uh so uh tropical zoop is already on fire mainnet uh we already performed our tests actually
we finished literally yesterday our test so uh everything worked very worked very smooth and i
was kind of impressed with the low gas fees because i mean the gas is almost i mean you don't even need
to take care of it since it's very very low at least at this stage what we tested what we saw uh the
chain is quick and so uh the transactions are quick and uh the gas fee as i said is less than one cent
of fire coins so very very low actually and uh impressive so uh that uh could be a good thing uh as a
potential for uh for me for uh user adoption as uh it lowers the barriers people may have uh and now i
guess the time would be i mean this is the best time to start focusing uh to uh grow the the decks there
and of course at the same time uh offer incentives and ways for people to uh move their funds to uh to
fire network so well we uh actually we have some questions for you guys uh we also have a few ones
so uh talking about uh tokens incoming well we are we are at x right so we we need to speak about
uh yes and uh what about stable coins so what's the situation there do you mean the future of
stable coins or uh something uh no the stable coins on fire i mean uh are you bringing already some
partners or uh what uh when uh when do you expect uh stable coins coming there i think uh we are more
interested right now in uh making sure that the several economies are built using the fire token
and uh the token did really well in the beginning and we're constantly looking for that but in the
future like you know we are we we we are open to other possibilities but right now we're more focused
on that but yeah stables uh also have an important place to play and we let people decide but yeah it all
comes down to prioritization and strategy right yeah yeah i see totally see now well i would connect
this with another question i have which is uh what can you explain strong key points of fire growth in
the next uh six to twelve months so uh what are you trying to achieve right now we're really looking to
find uh traction uh traction and uh get to product market fit uh as quickly as we can because our
success depends entirely on how many people actually use fire coins and how many people deploy uh or
interesting products such as yourself on on the platform and we are actually finding interesting
partners come to us uh organization that we have invested in given grants to a partnered with
they are getting some of their uh networks involved as well so our focus would be growing that ecosystem
scaling our community and announcing some major partnerships uh in this regard
that's wonderful and i have also a last question not the least so um what about the partnership between
uh us and you i mean fire and traffic as well so uh what do you see in the future for us together
yeah we really look at a strong team which you guys have a complementary team uh like we look at large
markets so defy is something that we really bullish on and we're looking people for products that make
the users more and more users come and start using the chain um in interesting and creative value
additive ways all of which uh you guys very well uh check the boxes so we're very excited to be in partnership
with you thank you yeah i see also from our side it's nice very nice to hear that and thanks so i see a green future

uh i was just i was considering because uh you were mentioning you know you've got plans to uh
uh sorry um not to be not to uh be rude or anything but are you able to are you able to
mute when you're not speaking because there's a lot of feedback i don't know if you've got a speaker
next to your microphone or there's constant feedback right yeah all the time but yeah yeah thanks man
um you you mentioned you know you because you're you're you're just starting out so obviously you've got
a long ways to go like everybody who's who's just a foundation level and i'm wondering you know because
you've got such ideas for expansion and you know you you've got a uh a lot in your in your in your
road map so i'm wondering you know what what kind of um uh what kind of what kind of media uh input
are you going to have in order to to to bring more projects and to bring more you know you know new
new builds onto your onto your blockchain like what what do you what's your what's your menial plan for
for for bringing in more business so we have a large team and we have a very strong brand so that
really helps we are partners with government of india uh we are uh involved very closely with many
governments in the middle east uh we're a part of several confederation of indian industries so
those kinds of things really help augment our brand now over and above that we are interested in
uh offering further grant programs and supporting developers uh in all possible ways essentially
we want to be the most developer friendly chain uh possible and towards that the low gas fee the high
transaction speeds high technical support is going to be the way we actually are very careful about
doing paid media we don't do too much of that because we want to be product-led and i think that's
going to be the focus uh in the near future yeah that makes a lot of sense that makes a lot of sense
and i'm curious really because i mean living in uh in europe we have a lot of we have we have a lot
of mixed stories about how the government react to uh to crypto for example i mean like if you go from
country to country you'll find a different law in every single one so do you get a lot of support from
from the indian government for the things that you're doing
well i'm based in the uk in oxford uh where i went to school in college so uh here the support is
really strong but uh in the indian government we're official partners with them and different
governments are warming up to it like as you would have seen with bitcoin and etf receiving some support
initially um and i think that's going to continue but yeah we want to take governments uh as our partners
and we don't want to have like an adversarial relationship with them because long term we
want to work with them rather than against them so do you feel that you're part of this sort of
initiative which is kind of trying to align defy and phi
very much so because we don't want to like spend our time basically building up enemies that we don't
don't want time to go towards so in cases where governments are reluctant we are happy to work
with them to educate them educate ourselves and come to a normal where both uh like phi and d phi can
coexist okay nice thanks uh jason i see you come off mute a few times so i guess you i've interrupted you a
