Music Thank you. Thank you. Music hello hello everybody i am adam simmons the chief strategy officer at radix and joining me today
is a community guest someone who runs the most popular believe, Radix Xspace that's not run on this channel.
Machinist, how are you doing, buddy?
Good morning. I'm excited, man. This is going to be a fun show.
And I got to say, I've never really listened.
Not saying there's anything wrong with the music that you play leading into this but i never
really listened to it before with the headphones on i was it's pretty good
cue the crickets you're gonna have a lot of a bit i can't hear you oh no i can't hear you now
much better there we go oh okay hi good morning i i heard nothing of what
you said i asked you how you were gave you a beautiful introduction you could have just been
like i hated here i can't believe i got dragged on i've been on the wiser see that it could hear
me uh no this is great i was talking about your wonderful uh intro music and actually it is kind of catchy. I tried it for the first
time with headphones on, and it's not bad. It's like elevator music. That's how I describe it.
A very hip elevator. I don't know, see, I like that kind of just general flowing nothingness. Like, it soothes my brain.
I think Buzz Shipman would approve.
Oh, no, his channel is far better, but we will come on to that.
Speaking of which, we are waiting for Eric to join.
So hopefully he will be here in a few minutes.
Just got caught up trying to get connected.
So, Machinist, what's been going on in your world? Nothing much, man. Well, a good amount, but nothing much in my crypto world. Because for
the last week, thanks to MintPass and Coinbase, I got to go on a free cruise and it was fantastic.
But I'm out of the loop for the past week. So I'm looking forward to hearing about what's been going on while I was gone.
It's been a good week on the whole, not to jinx it or scare it away or anything like that,
but it's been going pretty well.
And of course, we've had a bit of a blow up in the Radix ecosystem in a good way with Deliver. So Deliver, which is kind of the purpose of today's space,
is started off as one of the,
or it was the fastest graduating token launch on Really.Early.
And since then has launched a sold out NFT collection.
And in the last week or so,
launched a really cool product of DeFi FM.
So DeFi FM is like a 24 hour, seven days a week stream on YouTube that has some great
background music, but most importantly also hits you with crypto news as it comes out.
But with the voice of Eric, the founder of Deliver, and some great, great dry humor.
So I assume, Machina, since you've been invited on to co-host,
Of course. Of course I have.
I've been listening for weeks, actually.
I actually listen to it at work.
When the day gets a little rough,
Buzz Shipman helps me out throughout the day.
And real quick, everybody, don't forget,
Bean, we just started, retweet the room.
If you want to learn more about Radix, head on over to RadixDLT.com or follow at RadixDLT here on X.
Because if you don't have Radix in your wallet, I mean, why are you even on crypto Twitter?
But yeah, man, I've definitely tuned in. And I did check
this morning because I'm a research junkie and I went through every graduated token
on really.fun. And yeah, they were the quickest graduation. I think it was like an hour
and 10 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes. That is unbelievably fast.
Yeah, well, Penny, I think,
was technically the fastest graduation,
but they only needed like a 30XRD buy, right?
I think it was more like a test.
I mean, still legendary, right?
Of course, but it doesn't really count for a community
graduation. So yeah, hell yeah. Oh, Eric's here. He is. I was going to introduce Eric with the
first post he made when he launched Deliver on Really Not Fun. Hey, it's Eric. After four years,
I decided to contribute to the eco by making my first coin. I put in exactly 1000 XRD. The rest
is up to you, the community, for when Radix delivers. So Eric, can you hear us? Famous first
words. Yes. Hello. Hello, Radix. Nice to be here. Oh my God, it's weird. It's like the radio station.
This is magic. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Nice to be here. Thank you for having me. Yeah, excited.
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Nice to be here. Thank you for having me. Yeah. Excited.
Thank you for jumping on. So Eric, I guess my first question to you is the obvious one.
What gave you the idea for Deliver?
This was originally, since I've been in Redix for, well, four plus years now, ever since I KYC'd,
this was kind of like a random response
that I had when I saw the delay token.
I've noticed what was done on really the fun.
And I kind of was just like,
for about a week in my head,
I had this picture of that exact pen.
I don't know if you guys know what I'm talking about.
Delay had this, originally had this avatar
that looked like someone's just like circling the red red circling red delay written in like red marker pen.
Yeah. In my head for like a week, I had this I had this idea.
How about I just like make it green, turn the delay into deliver and just like launch that as a token, see what happens.
Just like put nothing in it and just see if it even sees any traction whatsoever.
And what happened was insane.
I did not expect the response that i
received we uh we uh it was literally such a random idea i i was just like it would be funny
to see the opposite what happens to the opposite because i really wanted to i always believed in
radix ever since the beginning and uh yeah um i just wanted to i wanted to see the opposite
sentiment towards negativity just wanted to see something positive for a change.
So when this initially launched, right,
there was no huge plan for everything that's going on now, right?
You guys just kind of lived on a pivot.
And when I say you guys, i'm guessing it's just you
you're the core team right yeah and just built out everything uh that deliver offers now yes sir uh
this was supposed to be a joke and a test if really the fun even works on my on my phone
well it works so uh yeah i remember I set up the token.
I forgot to turn on burning, which now I pay for that mistake.
And I went to eat dinner.
And half an hour later, I saw that it's halfway through graduation.
All of a sudden, people were asking me, hey, create a Telegram group.
You're a crypto person now.
You know, your career is over.
Now you got to do this. So I did. And yeah, it became quite the thing
that it is right now. I, yeah, initially it was not supposed to be anything serious.
Like I said in the comment, it was just, it was just like a test. And it's, it's, it's crazy.
I decided right after I graduated within, I think, just over an hour or like an hour and 10 minutes from when I actually created a token.
I already had like a dozen people in a group telling me, hey, now you need to get the bot in the Telegram.
just like do all the crypto stuff that crypto people do and sure i basically since that day
Just like do all the crypto stuff that crypto people do.
that was january 29th or late january i ended up you know changing my entire personality towards
this now so uh it's it's quite it's quite interesting how things can completely change
in your life after you do something as a joke. And I think that's the really incredible thing is hearing stories like this.
So I'm assuming since you said this was kind of just like a spur of the moment thing,
like you haven't launched a token previously.
You haven't started a project.
I've been in crypto because I'm just, you know, I've done a bunch of investments back in the day.
Like when Ethereum was about 100 bucks i've done a bunch of investments back in the day like when when ethereum was about 100 bucks i bought a bunch of that so i did have a bunch of uh capital to work on my just
normal life and um uh you know my career and because i i'm an audio i'm an audio engineer and
uh touring artist and this is something that i've devoted like over a decade of my life to
making music and working on audio for a bunch of people.
And never thought I would be voicing a cardboard box.
So this is something that in the end
turned out to be kind of like,
a friend of mine showed me this book.
I forget who it was by, but it was super short.
And it was like a 50 minute, 50 minute audiobook
that talks about something called the quantum leap. I don't know if some of you might know
what I'm talking about. And it's something that you, it's like, it's like a strategy slash
motivational speech towards you finally making the right move. If you want to achieve something
crazier in life or something that will absolutely like escalate you to two
levels you've never seen before and it's taking us it's in short it's taking a
step that it's completely outside of your comfort zone my core from my comfort
zone is is making music and working on audio and this is literally the opposite
of that until I started daily FMFM, of course, which basically ended up me incorporating a lot of the audio aspects that I'm familiar with and proficient in into crypto, which I always wanted to somehow connect, which is kind of cool that I found this outlet to actually, I came up with this outlet to actually make that in.
actually make that in. And this quantum leap ended up slightly, basically kind of changing
my life here, starting this year as soon as I made deliver. Yeah.
That is just such an awesome story and also makes me feel better at how perfectly smooth
your microphone sounds on this space. Now we know you're an audio tech. Like, I need
some tips. I need some tips.
Yeah. And speaking of audio, back in, I think this was about, well,
about last year or the year before that, when I was on tour,
I was kind of just like chilling in hotels and I saw Dan was doing a lot of
the streams, doing the hyperscale tests and the initial tests.
So I did a bunch of videos
to increase the virality of Radix
when it comes to how amazing the TPS will be eventually.
And I remember working a little bit with you, Adam,
on fixing the audio in certain videos on YouTube.
Because when you do a podcast,
clearly certain speakers you sometimes interview
are sitting in the middle of the bathrooms
and it's just the sound is never good.
Or in their cars, usually.
It can always tell when someone's in a car.
And so I fixed a bunch of those using a bunch of
algorithms. So I feel like I've already kind of tried to incorporate a bunch of the audio aspects
into helping Radix, which I was happy to help. And yeah, I'm happy to do that from now on as well.
So from a background of audio, like taking a step back even from Deliver, how did you first get into crypto?
What kind of caught your eye with Radix?
How did you start this journey?
You mentioned Ethereum, obviously.
Yeah, I got into crypto, I believe, around 2017 when IOTA was brought in my attention,
which I've thought it's super interesting doing a token, doing a, doing a token that's, that's,
that's got to do between machines talking to each other, which I was always into automation and
stuff like that. That's why, that's why daily FM kind of came into the picture. I love, I love to
have things just done for me. You just press a button and things are just being done. So IOTA
was like an interesting concept. Then I got into Ethereum when I found out you can, you know,
actually build stuff on it. And it's just like like it's like a whole s ecosystem that people build dApps on and things just happen
on it um 2017 i think it was was was the initial moment uh some of the first things i invested in
was litecoin when it was about eight bucks oh no that was a bit earlier then i must have been
i must have invested in litecoin a bit earlier but i remember doing litecoin and ethereum mainly uh to this day i still don't own a single bitcoin
which is a huge mistake in my opinion but uh and uh perfect i needed that i forgot my soundboard
today no worries i got you yeah um my yeah so i just think Radix has a bigger potential anyway. So this is something that I've,
that's kind of my story with crypto, not big, because most of my life focuses around audio
anyway. But yeah. That's awesome. It is really cool to hear the audio background. And that's
why you kind of got involved, you know, wanted to do Deliver and it led you to this.
That's why I started doing podcasting
for crypto in the first place
was I grew up and my family has a sound company.
So we definitely have to,
we're going to have to chat offline.
We got other stuff to talk about too,
but we have a lot to talk about, definitely.
And I'm going to have some questions about that and how that might help me deliver in
the future in a little bit.
But one thing I wanted to point out, if anyone wants to learn more about Deliver, don't forget
you can go to really.fun, R-L-Y.fun slash deliver, or go to OCSwap or AstroLesson, wherever
you'd like to trade the most and trade the most, uh, and just search
for it. You can find it right there. Your distribution is fantastic, right? You have
31.17% locked up in rad lock. Is that, is there a time limit on that? Is that just till the end
of time? What's the deal with the lock? Um, what created Deliver and it was going through the graduation
process, as soon as it graduated, what
31% of the entire supply,
locked it for 100 years. So it is
time limited, but we'll all be dead by then anyway.
I mean, I'm going for the, at least immortality route.
I mean, you never know, man.
Tech is moving a lot faster.
But what was that movie where you had numbers on your arm?
What Justin Timberlake was in it?
That was such an underrated movie it really was
imagine if that was your your radix wallet right when you go broke when you run out and deliver
that's it you get delivered to the mortuary let's see what brian johnson comes up with
yeah listen yeah although i do draw the line on some of the things i'd need to track to do his
blueprint i feel right feel a bit a bit too far it's like I've
extended my life by spending six hours a day on this regime it's like exactly maybe on the on the
bigger wins but exactly in the story of deliver the next thing obviously after you launched I'm
like the thing that blows my mind am I correct in thinking eric you only created a website for deliver after it
successfully graduated on real.farm oh yeah uh initially i set it up i set up a poll first first
like the step by step was telegram group because i you know everybody on crypto is in telegram so
and then i set up a poll on telegram asking is a website crucial for us to to even you know go up
and everybody said yes pretty much the the majority of people said yes.
I don't do websites, but I made that one.
DeliverXrd.com, if you guys want to check.
That's probably where you want to get most of the information
about the whole Deliver ecosystem.
I called it an ecosystem just now.
And yeah, there's all the details.
There's the stuff about NFT, the Delhi NFTs.
There's a little lookup tool.
There's the gateway to the Delhi FM stream. There's all the details. There's the stuff about NFT, the Delhi NFTs. There's a little lookup tool. There's the gateway to the Delhi FM stream.
There's everything else. And this is the end of my sentence. Thank you.
I really love the art style you have on it.
Is that an Eric first or is there a secret silent party doing beautiful graphics?
That is me. I do all of the the art i drew all of the nfts uh i am not a graphical artist but i can pull up a photoshop and set up a brush to 20 pixels wide and
do some some sort of you know drawing around obviously i it's not like i wasn't tracing
certain things that i found online not gonna hide that but uh yeah all of the all of the stuff that's in the nfts is is hand-drawn
for sure so all and really envious right the full collections 5 000 nfts right
uh yeah this was the first collection ever that i've ever dropped 5 000 nfts each one consisting
of a bit i believe 20 different backgrounds 20 different body types
multiple different accessories eyes eyes and mouths just you know the usual NFT stuff
they sold out within yeah two weeks thanks to someone who what who turned out to be the first
ever person to join the entire deliver deliver group Tommy big shout out from singularity x who set up the entire system
of random minting which i thought was initially impossible i thought people will just will just be
able like we'll have to go to some sort of marketplace and find the nfts over there and
just like pick their favorites uh but singularity x enabled this random minting which you you know
you purchase 10 of them without having to know any like developer, like without having to know any code, I was able to partner with him and do
it that way, which is amazing. So shout out to Tommy. And yeah. Yeah, they do do an amazing job.
And don't forget people, because probably everyone here has a Deliver NFT in their wallet. If you don't, you should. Go to DeliverXRD.com.
And if you go to look up,
you can actually see your deli, right?
And all the rarity rankings and everything else.
If anyone wants the super rare deli number 819,
It's going to cost you way more than it should.
Yeah, this is a fantastic feeling knowing that, you know, they're being resold.
I probably made a mistake of keeping just one deli with me. So I just got one left.
But this is what I kind of like that the community holds most of them. It's all up to you guys now.
But that's part of what makes a project attractive to holders, right?
You literally have one Deli NFT, right?
And you're actually the seventh holder on the list of top bag holders, right?
There's people in the community that have a much larger percentage than you do, right?
You have, what is it? We're talking about the deliver token, not the NFT. Yes, yes, the token, right. is people in the community that have a much larger percentage uh than you do right you have
what is it three point to deliver token not the nft yes yes the token right uh yeah you only have
3.07 percent and there's community members that you know just left you in the dust uh with that
not by much nobody holds a huge percentage but uh that's good to see, right? It makes people trust the project that much more.
I honestly not planning to part with the amount of delivery anytime soon.
This is something that I think will reach much higher highs.
And I'm only going to be taking as much profits as there is not to impact the price too much.
I want everybody to be happy, honestly.
Radix has suffered enough for the past couple of years.
Absolutely. And you guys have hit 1.1 million XRD in secondary sales through Trove and Radlands combined. That's pretty huge, man. So congratulations.
I had no idea. I honestly had no idea. The only metric i was actually looking at was uh the trove uh volume
which is about a hundred a hundred thousand xrd right now i'm not sure this is total volume
someone will have to clarify that for me uh yeah that's total total volume okay so that's still a
lot for for a deli that costs 200 XRD.
I'm having people find some sort of retail value in them.
This is exactly what I wanted to see.
I remember seeing Scorps being born.
I remember being one of the, like, maybe the first 100 people on the Scorps channel, on Scorpions, Abandoned Scorpions.
I am the proud owner of Scorpion0000, so if you want to buy it, hit me up. Wow. Really?
Whoa. Yes, sir. zero zero zero zero so if you want to buy it wow really yep whoa yes sir hey i i told you i had that uh really nice deli i know you only got one so you know if if you want to talk you want to talk
just let me know yeah and we do have other stuff to talk about anyway so beautiful now before we
move on uh from uh nfts because you got to get into the radio station right we want to talk about
the deli fm the ai radio how it works everything else how you came up with it with the nfts and
i'm not going to get deep into this because this isn't about xrd gen but with all of these sales
right you are going to be able to claim royalties we're actually going to launch tomorrow
uh and i know we've already talked about that yeah let's go thank you uh yeah it's going to be able to claim royalties. We're actually going to launch tomorrow. And I know we've already talked about that. Let's go. Thank you.
Yeah, it's going to be super exciting. So you and every other project is going to be able to collect
royalties regardless of where you meant it on those secondary sales.
Do you have any plans for what you're going to do with that in the future?
Like, is it going to go to the community or giveaways or buybacks or
is that still being figured out there's definitely
buybacks honestly any sort of profit i never expected to make any profit whatsoever after
selling the after selling out the nfts so any profit that comes in now goes straight into either
funding daily fm uh api call calls costs or goes into the deliver buybacks i would still have to
look into that but obviously this is great i had no idea it's launching tomorrow. That's awesome news. Yeah, hell yeah. We'll talk after. But yeah,
so that's going to be awesome. That'll just be a huge influx of
revenue for the project, right? To just keep making it stronger
and stronger. So what do you think? Is there anything else on the
NFTs you want to hit on before we jump into the Delhi FM?
Thanks to the community being super smart on Radix.
I have been thrown so many ideas at my face for the past two months or month, ever since we sold out, what to do next with the Delis.
And there was this one concept that really stuck out.
I find it really interesting.
The Deli Recycle Station. and it's really cool i find it really interesting the delhi recycle station imagine a set of brand
new super rare delhi nfts that you get to claim a part of if you burn multiple of your existing
delis so picture this you're burning five or ten of your existing delhi nft boxes and you're getting a super super
rare box from the recycling center i think that's a really cool concept this is something to be
explored this was introduced to me by soundy big shout out super cool idea and i think if there is
a tech stack to actually make it possible which on radix i am 100 confident there, we'll do it. So is this, so this- I think that's a super cool idea.
Eric, my only question is,
will my Deli boxes be sad when they're burned?
Because they have such a-
go to the Telegram group and ask slash Deli,
and he'll give you the correct answer.
I've actually just pushed a GitHub thingy.
I've got to give GitHub and stuff apparently, that he now uses a way thingy. Yeah, I'm coder now. I've got to give GitHub and stuff, apparently.
That he now uses a way smarter model.
So in case someone wants to talk to Dele in our Telegram group,
he's way more smart right now.
So he'll know the answer for that.
What is the Telegram group?
What is the easiest way to get there, Eric?
The easiest way to get to the Telegram group is t.me slash deliver underscore XRD.
Hey, I don't know if Adam can hear me.
God, what's going on here?
So is this going to be...
I think it's on the other side of the world.
Is this going to be like a Mutant 8 Biak Club, right?
A one-for-one deal, or you're going to have to take multiple delis to make like one super deli, like a Web3
Captain Planet cardboard box. The ballpark concept. And this is, I like the ratio is five to one.
You burn five delis, you get a super rare. Okay. So then there'd be a final collection of
a thousand if everyone,000 if everyone upgraded.
I got to go talk to Deli about this.
After, hey, don't forget, everybody, retweet the room.
It is DeliverNFT or DeliverXRD.com to learn more about Deliver and RadixDLT.com to learn more about Radix.
Download the wallet because your iPhone's not right without it.
Should we jump into the Deli FM AI radio, Adam?
We should, but my brain is now stuck on this idea of the recycle center and the game theory that will play out if lots of people make these super delis.
When it starts getting close to 1,000 original delis and getting close to the 1,000 max super delis, how does that play out?
That's a great question, and I have no clue.
Yeah, especially if there's benefit for having one of these super delis, right?
Maybe there's extra utility or who knows, right?
I'm just spitballing here.
Literally, that concept was just a concept.
We're still brainstorming.
This is still something to be definitely launched around summer.
I don't envision it anytime sooner than that.
What I'm focusing on right now is Deli FM, improving it in any way, shape I can.
funding for it that i've received and it's it's it's it's gonna get it's gonna be great i think
delhi fm is the next big thing that i that i'm gonna be pushing hell yeah so speaking of delhi
delhi fm obviously broadcasting live from deliverance kansas how's the idea come around
from Deliverance, Kansas.
How did the idea come around?
Every single I can remember it,
playing all sorts of games
like even fucking Lego Island
had a radio that you could listen to.
Those are some very different tones of gaming.
From GTA to Two Point Hospital
And each one carried this concept of like an imaginary lore built around the world that you really want to exist in.
Like it's, you know, complete with stories from people, complete with commercials, with like new segments about like updates on what happened in that city.
updates on what happened in that city and i always wanted to bring that into life in some shape or
And I always wanted to bring that into life in some shape or form.
form and i think when i started building the delhi the deliver lore of delhi being a part being a
warehouse worker or warehouse manager first in office he just got downgraded uh and then him
being you know sentient and having a brain and having trouble with the cargo door being stuck
all the time as he tries to fly these boxes out the window. That's when I was just like,
how about we just build a whole city around this? And the first thing that came to mind, yeah,
GTA Radio kind of had that kind of concept where the first commercial I remember being like when
playing GTA 3, I believe, was a commercial on GTA Radio, petsovernight.com, where you can deliver a
pet straight to your door. And I remember being a kid listening to that.
So I typed that in and yeah, they set up a fake website,
petsovernight.com just to build this like lore slash ARG sort of even to,
to, to, to make you feel like you're part of a real world,
even though it's all just a world built inside a game so deliverance kansas obviously plays on the you know the name deliver obviously so this is the
only city i could have picked and the fact that it's in kansas it's it's i was forced to use that
because that's the truth there is a small town of deliverance in kansas i think it's about population
like 5 000 people it's a ghost town and uh yeah yeah, that's where I decided to build the world in.
I can't believe you actually checked for, what was it?
See, that says a lot about you, though, and I like it.
We're going to be good friends.
The world building is really cool, although I'm slightly concerned now,
but this poor little town is suddenly going to have like 5000 people descend on it,
each with their like Delhi NFT just for a massive party.
When Delhi FM started, it was actually me recording the full show, like each episode.
I just did two episodes because it was just taking so much time um that's when i did most of the world building around deliverance when you know
talk about radix road delay lane or whoever it was uh uh you know roads collapsing uh city halls
being used for you know meetings for delay token holders all three of them and it was all just like this
just like play on play on words and a lot of just like maybe a little bit of inside deep inside
frustration against against radix and how it should be huge but it still isn't uh but i think
i've ever since i decided to automate it and turn it into Dele FM by plugging all the AI tools we're going to talk about later is when I decided to shift away from the frustration
and build something positive again, just like I did with the whole initial concept of Deliver.
Because obviously it's live 24-7 now.
So I'm assuming that, Eric, you're not there just chugging the red bull talking for hours and
hours a day spamming refresh on cointelegraph it is a it's a big pipeline i'm i'm super happy to
uh show you like give you guys a bit of a behind the scenes of how it works uh it's just kind of
surreal to wake up because the the stream has been running for about a week now i believe ever since the idea for the
radio came out uh during april fools uh for the first 10 days i was doing um i was just doing the
the radio shows myself by recording every single bit myself with the commercials and everything
but ever since the stream was running i wake up in the morning i tune into the stream and it's just
such a surreal feeling feeling to hear my own voice tell me this fresh news about crypto.
It's just something that my brain struggles to comprehend.
And seeing a lot of people tuned in, it's also great.
And if anyone does want to tune in, deliverxrd.com slash delifm.
And I actually have it pulled up here for anyone that hasn't heard it.
Do we want to see what Buzz is talking about right now?
Yeah, let's see what he's talking about now.
It could be just some music.
Like a lost balloon at a child's birthday party, only slightly deflated and covered in questionable frosting.
Glassnode's latest analysis throws a spotlight on these so-called hard assets.
While the global economy dances on the edge of a cliff like a circus performer just one slip away from a tragic fall. That is fantastic.
drawdown for bitcoin's that is fantastic um so this pulls live info from coin telegraph which
obviously we all use to coin telegraph for our crypto news right if you actually want real
crypto news uh so i could just tune into this all day right listen to buzz and get everything i want
from coin telegraph literally by tuning into daily fm and leaving it on just leaving it on as you do your daily things
you will be fed every 90 seconds freshest news real news about crypto in in the funniest form
possible i could think of so that's the goal that's the goal and now on the back wall it has
the xrd price sorry i just wanted to ask is that 100 live like as the price moves does the
price that's taped on the back wall there does that change yes sir that is oh it does it just
changed from coin gecko whereas the tickers on the bottom are fed from binance because we're
still not on binance this is so cool uh soon soon right how how did the name Buzz Shipman come around?
I came up with a bunch of these, and it was a poll on my Telegram group,
and that was the top voted for result.
It sounds like it could be a news anchor, genuinely.
Because he generates buzz.
And then when the 11 Labsabs API glitches he has buzz
outs where he doesn't know how to pronounce certain words. It all makes sense. See there's a lot of
thought that goes in everything deliver and I like it. I think everyone else likes it as well. I'm
really happy to hear that. How long did it take you to set up like, again, is this something you had a background in,
in using this kind of toolset and putting together the tech stack for it? Or was it again, just
trial error, get it together, get the idea? Setting up Dell EFM, ever since the concept
on April 4th, and I messaged that on the Telegram group, hey guys, I have the stupidest idea
ever. And I don't know if it will work,
but I'll ask GPT if it does.
And I told GPT exactly what I want to achieve
and it goes, yeah, there's a tech stack available for that.
And I'm like, fuck it, let's do it.
So the entire process from setting up the automations
that feed information from Coindesk and Cointelegraph
into a Google Sheet that then gets interpreted by GPT-40 Mini
that spits out buzz-trained news based on his personality,
based on everything he knows about Deliverance Kansas,
that then gets fed straight back to the Google Sheet,
which then gets read by 11 labs api which spits
out a voice automated voice generated uh version of it which is based on two plus hours of me
talking uh that all of that and this is just 40 of it was told me was told to me step by step by GPT-40, how to set it all up.
Then, once that happens, it gets transported as an MP3 file into Dropbox
that immediately gets fed into a Node.js slash Python script
that literally becomes like a thing that just lives on its own as a as like a pipeline
like a queue that gets fed straight to obs and i gotta admit obs is the only thing i'm proficient
in uh because i have streamed in the past but i had no clue that you can use python to literally
control your entire obs every single feature in it so when i found that that out, that just opened up a whole new possibility, especially for
someone who's never coded in Python for even a minute.
That is, and OBS is fantastic.
You're like a full-fledged super dev now.
Like, watch out Beam, right?
You lost me like three minutes ago with all the tech stuff.
It wasn't until like a bit, I think it was three days ago,
when I switched from just telling GPT in the browser how to do things,
and then I was just copy-pasting it into text files that got updated,
you know, as the script was, you know, paused and run, paused and run to test it.
I finally switched to cursor.ai, which is basically
It's kind of like, I don't know how to describe it
because I'm not a developer.
It looks like it's a massive, just like a workhorse
And you have all of your folder, like your entire folder
of all your script files are in one place.
You tell it what you want to do.
It finds the script file.
You run the script and it just updates whatever you want it to update.
If I want, if I want like there to be a two more seconds of delay between when Buzz reads
a segment of news and when he announces the next song, I can just tell it just can you
Script updated, accept, run, and it's done.
I don't have to think about anything ai is incredible and uh yeah am i a developer though no i just tell gpt
what yeah yeah you are ai is a tool man right is a carpenter not a carpenter because he uses a
hammer and not his fist right to put nails in the wall? No, come on. But that's fantastic.
Yeah, but you came up with the idea, right?
And this is an amazing idea,
and it hasn't just attracted attention here on Radix, right?
Apparently, a lot of people from other chains were interested as well.
But first, I think the thing that sparked all of this,
because what I've done to promote Dele FM just as a show, because my initial point with it was,
let's make Dele FM to mainly accept donations that will, and that's still undeveloped. I still need
to plug that in. The plan was to have Buzz read donations as messages live on stream as they appear, just like he does with the news.
And he's just supposed to just roast them as he always does with the news.
And that donation gets immediately straight fed.
Half of it goes into funding Dele FM, which I no longer need funding for because now I do have it.
So now once donations are enabled, I'll be able to just feed that directly into a pool that will provide buybacks back to deliver token.
So that's the whole point.
I just want deliver holders to be happy.
And I want people to be onboarded onto Radix because, yeah, a lot of people need to find out about it.
And what about like with, because I know you have the advertisements and everything else on there, right?
Like the kind of wacky, zany, uh, roasting advertisements. People could use that if you have a project and you want
to get it, uh, on Delhi FM, right? Once that's built out, you put a little donation into the,
the burn wallet or, or whatever it is, right? Whatever the community decides to use it for.
And now you have your advertisement and it's hands off on your end which is huge i
would lie if i said that nobody has hit me up for uh affiliate links and having a poster of their
logo of their token logo behind buzz yeah well i was gonna do it after the show but i i won't now
so there you go the the era of a genic Influencers or KOLs is upon us.
And see, yeah, I like that.
Crypto Mambo Jambo, you just said that I didn't understand.
I felt smart being on stage for it.
So anyway, now can we talk about a crazy inflow of people that came here because it deliver
because i'm excited about that that was all from a reddit post wasn't it eric or a lot a lot of it
a lot of it i believe 95 of it was um which then snowballed into an algorithm because of the amount
of viewership organic viewership that got pushed on youtube. Initially, though, what I forgot to finish in the last point was before I posted the
the daily FM on the r slash cryptocurrency subreddit, I did a bunch of posts on the
tech subreddits, which did nothing.
I'm talking like I had custom made completely like distilled posts to be posted,
each one completely different, catering to the exact subreddit
that I wanted it to go live on.
We're talking r slash automation, r slash artificial intelligence,
r slash self-made DIY, sorry, not DIY, r slash, I forgot.
There's like, I got a whole list, actually.
And I think it garnered about 15 viewers
at some point and then plateaued and that's it and it wasn't until I realized that hey I should
just be catering to the to the to the audience that actually is interested in crypto because
those are the people who are going to be listening eventually so all it took was just that one post
on the first ever cryptocurrency subreddit that
I decided to post on, which obviously is the one with 10 million followers, which is cryptocurrency.
Yeah, it went semi viral. I believe I posted it on the 15th in the middle of the night. So actually
the 16th. So it was already the 16th. I'm GMT plus two. So this is, we're talking, this was 36 hours ago.
And four hours later, I was already hit by people in my DMs selling,
I want to launch my own radio station.
To the point I dropped off my kid at preschool.
On the way back, I look at the chat and there's 300 people from Solana wanting the contract address in the chat so they can pump their own fake daily FM tokens which there are right now 15 on Solana uh wow one of them it says daily FM 24 7
crypto radio station is number one trending on Solana right now as we speak in the past hour
I have nothing to do with it nor nor does deliver or daily FM have anything to do with it, nor does Deliver or DeliFM have anything to do with it.
Don't do any of that Solana crap.
It's how you make it when you get impulsive.
And you know what's going to happen, right?
Someone's going to pump it, right?
And they're going to dump it over on Solana
because that's what these knuckleheads do.
But then they will find the promised land here on Radix.
And don't forget, if you want to get your hands on these tokens,
I just got another, I think, 100,000 or something.
Go to astral.trade slash deliver.
And you can go to astralessons aggregator and they'll find you the best price on chain that is right and that's exactly what happened after i
saw those 300 plus people in the chat once they started saying hey guys uh no we do not have a
token on solana currently uh we have a token on Radix called Deliver.
It took about one hour, since the moment I said that, for Deliver to go from $85,000 market cap to about $400,000 market cap.
Basically, I think I onboarded close to 100 people from Solana to go on Radix, either
through bridging through Astrolescent or getting the wallet and funding it somehow to get
delivered to the point where it quadrupled.
So I think there is a massive potential to be garnered from Dele FM.
And I'm doing everything right now to make that happen.
And thank you for doing it.
But this is also just great for the community to see, right?
Because we all know the tech on Radix is unmatched, right?
And this community is like no other. I mean, I've been doing this at least weekly for like five years.
And I have never seen a community as dedicated and as tight-knit as the Radix community.
And all you need is the right thing, right?
Like what you did here with Deliver with Deli FM.
And we can get a huge influx of people onto this chain.
And you may be one of the first that's brought a whole bunch over,
but you definitely won't be the last, I'm sure.
I'm really happy. Everyone wants. Yeah yeah i'm really happy to have done that and this is i think
we're just beginning i think this is just the start uh we have a lot of plans and for that
please follow my brand new created delhi fm twitter account at delhi fm underscore xrd that's where
we'll be posting actual delhi f news, not just on Deliver.
I want to legitimize with basically with the amount of fake tokens on Dele FM and the Dele FM
hashtag going crazy. I don't know if you guys have seen that of people posting screenshots about
Dele FM going viral on Solana, even though we don't have a token on Solana. I want there to be a Twitter account that solidifies the connection
between DeleFM, Deliver, and Radix.
So as of right now, go to DeleFM underscore XRD, follow it.
That is the official DeleFM account that will be posting any further updates
regarding any tokens that will be associated with DeleFM from now on.
So Eric, I'm going to offer up the mic
to anyone who's tuning in to ask you any questions.
So if you'd like to ask Eric a question on Dele FM,
around Deliver, anything like that,
or just how to sound better on an X space, to be honest,
But since we're going to be wrapping up shortly, Eric,
I'd love to drop you the mic to basically close out anything we haven't covered haven't asked you about that
oh I think we lost him yeah no he dropped down he's a he's a listener uh so we might have to
bring him back up maybe his his phone was messing up but while you send him that invite we do have
a bunch of comments uh in here let's see uh james gc.xrd said, Eric sounds just like buzz. I wonder why, or does buzz sound like Eric, uh, team on for master lesson.
Eric XRD is such a humble and funny guy.
Uh, and a whole bunch of people just saying, follow the official Delhi FM, you know, uh,
seven legendary seven says, damn Eric.
So it really does show the power of
this community, right? When everyone gets behind something. So keep sharing, keep talking about
deliver, because when you do, you're also talking about Radix. And as soon as people touch this
ecosystem, Adam, they don't leave. That's the, that's the beautiful thing. And I also think the,
as well as just the community getting behind it, one of the things
that really stands out to me on DeliverStory and what Eric was saying on that background
is so many people within the builder community on Radix jumping in to help out with things,
to input, utilizing other projects.
That is fantastic to see.
Like there are projects and ecosystems, orders of magnitude larger than radix
that don't have that and that is what really creates these sparks of extra things and extra
innovation and ideas that really drives an ecosystem forward so not only to eric obviously
for being the driving force behind this but all of the other builders who've inputted all of the other
driving force behind this, but all of the other builders who've inputted, all of the other
Radvacates who've helped support this, helped get the algorithm going, all of that is incredibly
appreciated and exactly what the Radix community needs to be doing if we're going to start getting
more awareness and getting further out into the general space. Absolutely. And this, I can't wait
until he sets up where you can just pay to have an announcement on there because it would be great for advertising, right?
Obviously, but also just to roast people.
I'm probably going to go broke just having beam announcements on Deli FM.
It's going to be fantastic.
It could be like, have you ever heard of Cameo?
It's awesome. Buzz could have a cameo account
he could have a cameo account the only good cameos are the really really cheap ones like
the people that nobody's thought about for 35 years right um those really are uh the best
because half the time they're just half drunk doing the happy birthday
to your mom or whatever. But yeah, Buzz would do well. I think he'd have a good price on Cameo.
So Machinist, I think Eric may have dropped off. Yeah, we lost him.
I think we're there with no other hands going up.
Is there any final words from you?
Thank you for joining the space and helping co-host here.
Another shout out for your big day tomorrow.
Tomorrow, uh, XRD gen.com is going live.
Uh, it's already built out.
We've just done a million quality controls. I think
we've gone through it like 15 times. Oh, Eric's back. I managed. I'm so sorry, Adam. I know we
only got a couple minutes. I missed you. I accidentally refreshed the goddamn browser,
and I missed your question. Can you repeat that question, Adam, on 68.8?
I was just throwing out the question to the audience if anyone wanted
to come in and ask a question but I was going to give you the closing word so you're back
just in time about Eric yes I am back we're going to cut that out we'll cut that out yeah
I'll cut that up yep edited cool um um I just wanted to direct people to to uh to delhi.fm
underscore xrd which is exactly what I did and I I wanted to also say that I think Radix is building the future
and I want to be a part of it.
And we're glad to have you here as well, Eric.
I do have a question, actually.
Do you know how many total listening hours Dele FM has had?
Oh, that's a great question.
I do not, but I do know the average listening time of
each unique user and it's half an hour it's not bad nice that is that's actually very good yeah
yeah i think the average listening time
oh i'll talk at the same time no i was just going to say i think the average listening time of when
anyone listens to me is like 30 seconds uh so that's, it's pretty good. Well done. Thank you. I'm going to use it
just to plug that Eric, if you do find out any of these numbers, like total, total hours listened,
definitely make sure that you're pushing it into our social team. That's a great idea. Yes.
Successes from Radix. Great idea. And I remind you to everyone building on Radix, like we want to
amplify these successes. So if you have these things,
if you have these moments
and doing these cool stories
and backgrounds like Eric has,
We would love to host you.
I would be glad to do it.
Yeah, I just want to keep developing Dele FM.
I think it has great potential.
I want to shout out to everybody
Shout out to everybody who's developing on Radix.
You're doing an amazing thing. We are just at the
beginning. We're still early.
And shout out to everybody who helped with
who collaborated with me on any sort of giveaways.
for hosting these amazing spaces.
Machinist, if that's how I pronounce it.
English is not my first language, so I'm certainly...
Machinist or is it Machinist? Can someone correct me? Machinist, but that's okay. Machinist. Either's how i pronounce english is not my first language so i'm certainly if it's machinist or is it machinist because someone could correct me machinist but that's a machine either
either i've been called much worse so that's perfectly great and um that's about it and stay
tuned to delhi fm on 68.8 oh yeah that was fantastic well done eric the next the next Well done, Eric. The next Radix space is tomorrow where we'll have an ecosystem spotlight
with Farah and our intern from social media
doing an interview with SRWA.
We will see you all then.
Thank you all for tuning in.
if you have an NFT project on Radix,
come to xrdgen.com tomorrow,
and start making some money
Doesn't matter where you minted.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
And put some offers out there
Take care, everybody. Thank you.
