I'm in the... Hello, how are you? Oh, I mean, your pronunciation is very good.
I misunderstood you are Korean.
Thank you. I spent some time in Korea over the past few months.
I'm very happy to be here. Thank you.
Yes, it's a natural pronunciation.
Mr. Telecom, could you check your mic condition?
I think my mic should be good. Pleasure to be here. Thank you very much for inviting me.
Okay, so sound is very good.
So, the one man is wrapped for starting our AMA.
Oh, mic. I confirmed that mic is here. So, Mike, could you turn on your mic and test your sound check?
Hey, sound check, one, two, three.
Okay, can you hear me?
Yeah, we can hear you. Then we can start the AMA from now.
So, welcome to our participants and thanks for inviting our, thanks for our participants joining our community for AMA, our world mobile
teammates, including founders and etc.
Let me introduce world mobile chain briefly.
World mobile chain is the most active blockchain among many active chains.
It is ranked in number 6, even not activated in Korea yet.
We can expect that World Mobile Chain is going up and the most active chain in the near future.
World Mobile Chain is related to deep-in and telecommunication.
It is a fresh idea that decentralized telecommunication.
We can hear what is decentralized telecommunication and why it is needed and how can we join the
ecosystem of the World Mobile Chain.
Before we start, I want to say hi to each other. Mr. Telecom,
could you introduce yourself briefly? Sure. My name is Mickey Watkins aka Mr. Telecom. I am the CEO
and the founder of World Mobile and we built World Mobile with the awesome team that we have because
we wanted to make an impact. we wanted to make an impact.
We wanted to make an impact. Half the world is not connected to the other half the world.
And this is not correct. So World Mobile was brought to this a gateway to the internet for millions.
Okay, thanks. Emma, could you introduce yourself?
Yes, thank you for having us. My name is Emmanuel Grouch.
I'm Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder.
I am responsible for executing on the vision.
And just recently I've been based out of Korea
for the past few months,
helping out to grow our company out there
and making sure that we do all the right things
and meet the right people.
And I'm very happy to be here and thank you to all your community
Mike could you introduce yourself of course I'm Mike I'm the CMO of World
Mobile responsible for all things marketing and community very much
looking forward to speaking with your community today. Grateful to be here.
Okay, then give me some time to say in Korean for giving a translation about your comment.
So as you know that our AMA is focused on Korean community, so each conversation and after each Q&A,

Please keep connected with our community and please join and get GIF.
Okay, let's start the Q&A session.
There are many questions about the information about the world mobile chain
and roadmap and buyback mechanism and etc.
So the first question is about that, why the world mobile chain is created?
So I'm curious about the reason world mobile chain was created.
Could you talk about the need for decentralization
in telecommunication?
I think co-founder lost their connection.
So could you say, Emma or Mike, give you an answer for that?
Yeah, sure.
Can you just enable Mick to speak again?
Sorry, I had an issue there somehow.
X crashed.
Welcome back.
Of course, the need for decentralization.
World Mobile was built.
World Mobile chain was built to serve World Mobile as its first customer.
The reason for this is because telecoms for many years has not been fair on us, the subscriber.
So telecom companies know where we eat, where we sleep, when we wake up, where we go, who
our friends' friends are, and we're paying for that.
And I got tired many years ago of paying for our own surveillance.
That's not to say that we are not regulated.
We absolutely are, and we conform to all the regulations.
But I think as mobile network operators, data sovereignty doesn't exist.
So World Mobile is the first chance that allows data sovereignty to exist.
You need to build a chain that is very fast,
that is not too cheap to spam,
that can serve hundreds of millions or billions of users.
And we've done that in two ways.
We've done that with the Earth Node Network
and the World Mobile Chain.
Whereas a layer three, we settle to base.
This makes it around 65 times cheaper than it would be to be a layer three we settle to base this makes it around 65 times cheaper than it would be to
to be a layer two and considerably cheaper compared to a layer one as it stands today
there are no layer ones really that can serve the telco industry at large it's also not just
designed for telecom but deep in as a whole and that's very important in order to have fast, secure transactions. It's something
that you've got to do. So decentralization and distribution, I think, are two different things.
The distribution allows you to have a big spread of nodes, air nodes, radios, for example,
a big spread of servers, the earth node network as well. But the decentralization comes that we

So, of course, there has been security incidents in Korea, but Korea is one of the countries
with the best distributed telecommunication networks.
So how can mobile secure a competitive edge in the Korean market?
Yeah, Korea has a lot to praise with telecommunications.
It's among the most advanced globally.
Internet is very fast.
Everybody is highly connected.
And there's a lot of dense distribution.
But there's incidences, recent incidences,
like SK Telecom Data Breach,
which affected over 20, 25 million users.
And this kind of shows the vulnerabilities
that are there with centralized systems.
I think what mobile sees this as a major opportunity to introduce a more resilient
and empowering model into the korean market our decentralized network architecture eliminates
single points of failure both on the connectivity layer through our air nodes and mesh system and
on the data layer through the earth nodes
that handle the validation the encryption the decentralized storage the vpn and more this we
believe drastically reduces the risk of widespread service outages or mass data breaches in a market
where people are accustomed to really fast speeds like there is in Korea,
we offer comparable network quality through our strategic partnerships and our infrastructure.
You can see that from the United States of America,
where we are actually better coverage than T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon due to these partnerships.
But unlike traditional telcos, we layer on privacy.
We layer on sim swap protection
fraud protection and i think very importantly for wmtx a staking model that rewards users
turning their mobile plan into essentially a yield generating asset for us korea is a nation
of builders and its people are technologically independent and very forward-looking. That's exactly the mindset of our model, giving individuals and communities the tools to participate,
operate and earn from the very networks they use. We already have actually several Earthnodes
operators and a growing number of remote Airnode operators active in Korea and this is good proof
that the vision is gaining traction. And with one of the world's, if not the world's most vibrant crypto communities,
Korea is an ideal environment for Wab Mobile's blockchain-powered user-owned telco network.
So in short, Korea's network may be fast, but Wab Mobile can make them just as fast or faster,
smarter, safer, and more importantly, owned by the people who use them.

World Mobile has strong deep-in elements featuring physical load and various participatory incentive mechanisms.
Could you explain more about the role of each sector?
With pleasure. World Mobile does have many elements to its deep network. You take the first is an Anode operator.
An Anode is where the initial finances come in from, from paying subscribers.
They pay to own WM's telco infrastructure.
They can operate it remotely or operate it locally from anywhere in the world.
These earn in USD and stable coins from network revenue.
Then you have Anode hosts. So Anode hosts, they host WM's telco infrastructure locally at their property.
They earn in USD stables. Then you have scanners who then scan the network. They earn points for
scanning the network and finding out holes in the connectivity and reporting back information.
They're a very important role.
Earthnode operators, they're the core, they're the heart, they're everything of the network.
They process the telco data on the world mobile chain.
And they also run value-added services, including decentralized VPN, storage, spam detection.
And of course, they are the head of the community governance.
They earn WMTX and share with their stakers.
And this WMTX comes from the node operations token allocation, as well as from revenue.
Then you have WMTX holders.
The holders, they stake to different elements of the world
mobile ecosystem uh to earn wmtx for example uh premier staking you can stake wmtx to your phone
plan for rewards earth node staking staking to an eno and sharing rewards with them for processing
telco data and supporting and strengthening the network as the network grows the need for wmtx to
be consumed to settle transactions on chain
creates a flywheel which increases the velocity and demand of wmt wmtx an earth node is critical
component of the world mobile chain responsible for providing decentralized services earth nodes
provide encryption decentralization and cost effectiveness to replace the huge data centers
that are inefficient and there's a bunch more things as well but probably we can go into an

I understand WMTX token has its own buyback mechanism.
So could you explain the logic behind how this buyback is executed
sure telecom is a multi-trillion dollar market so wmtx is brought back using a portion of the
revenues earned by the world mobile ecosystem today our revenue is about seven to eight million
dollars over the last 12 months the buybacks are mechanism is done over a
via a market maker but of course as the world mobile chain becomes live we will move this
process directly on chain you can track the buybacks and key metrics about wmtx at a website
worldmobile.io forward slash about forward slash ecosystem dash metrics and the current buyback WMT

What is the world mobile chain described as a layer 3?
And how does its mechanism work?
Okay, that's a good question. World mobile chain is a layer 3 because it rolls up to base.
This is for two reasons. One, base inherits the security from Ethereum. Two, it makes it far more
efficient and cost effective for us to have settlement on base.
So what we do is we submit batch transactions to base from the world mobile chain.
And then the latter, of course, becomes a security and settlement layer.
Base provides Ethereum, as I said, with its security guarantees as an L2,
which then cascades down to WMC, world mobile chain.

into the Korean market. So could you share more details about this?
Yeah, of course. I'll give you some highlights slightly before that. Pakistan has been a
testament to the sharing economy growing. I believe that it can become huge pakistan is the the fifth most
populous country um in the world and i think the world mobile can take a massive massive market
share there so i'm very much looking forward to scaling our network in pakistan and seeing
further air nodes deployed there as well um onboard, uh, a hundred thousand users in the United States of America paying
subscribers is quite some. So I would expect us to, to try to hit that target as, as a minimum,
uh, cause you said a 2025 roadmap. Uh, and then I would like the majority of those to,
to join premier staking. Uh, and that is really going to be wonderful for the World Mobile ecosystem and WMTX.
Launching our mainnet to the public is going to happen in the next two, three weeks.
And we already have the full version of the mainnet out as it is,
but the RPC is locked down to World Mobile.
But opening that and seeing the innovation and seeing partners
and seeing companies come in and utilize world mobile chain
is definitely on the roadmap and we're looking forward to that in the next couple of weeks
we are already the top six you most use blockchain in the world with no bots every single person is
a paying subscriber so going climbing the ranks getting to position position 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.
Maybe 2 and 1 are not possible this 2025,
but maybe they are as well.
So becoming one of the most, if not the most,
used blockchain in the world for daily active users
is a big ambition.
And of course, our partnership with Starlink,
we work with them in Nigeria,ia uh in malawi um in most
not mozambique excuse me in kenya uh and in the united states of america for disaster relief we've
worked with them and we utilize them so making that partnership even stronger is is very important
uh and save the best till last uh korea kore Korea is a massive market for us, especially considering we are a web3 decentralized distributed telecom network.
And the culture and the people of Korea are something we very much admire.
And we think that they're going to adapt and adopt world mobile and own the network that they use.

OK, this is the end of our official Q&A session.
As you know, this is the Korea-centric community.
I want to ask about your future plans, especially in Korea.
Because many projects are holding an opening of many events or many IRRs or some campaigns for the Korean community.
So I wonder if the world mobile chain has a plan for Korean-centric or Korean-targeting marketing in the near future.
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, we're working very hard with our Korean partners on the ground. As I
mentioned earlier, we're spending a lot of time in Korea. So when we initially launched our
operations in Korea, we were actually there on the ground in Seoul locally to make sure that the operations run smoothly.
Today, we have about 10 team members working on World Mobile, anything from operations to marketing,
and making sure that everyone in Korea could have the same chance to actually join the ecosystem,
right, from either being an Earth node operator, like
K-Top, who I've met out in Korea, he's been with World Mobile since the beginning.
He's an Earth node operator.
In fact, he runs two Earth nodes and he lives an hour away from Seoul.
So just making sure that more Koreans have exposure to these possibilities of running
an Earth node, understanding what it means to run an Earth node and how much you could benefit from holding an Earth node and staking it to one with World Mobile Token.
Also, recently we've seen an uptick in air node operators from Korea.
I think we're sitting around 50 to 100 right now in terms of air node operators in Korea and that number is
growing. It's important to understand to be an air node operator the air node could be deployed
not just in Korea but also all around the world so people in Korea could actually own these
air nodes remotely and I believe Edward you're also an Airnode operator, so welcome to the ecosystem.
So the whole idea is to expose everyone here, expose everyone in the community, in the Korean community, to many of the World Mobile products.
And we'll be, you know, sharing information, doing some marketing.
We'll be definitely holding some events, some dinners, very nicely catered dinners and making sure that people understand more about World Mobile and also benefit from it. Sorry, Edward. And of course,
we are leading up to Korea Blockchain Week, which for us will be very, very important,
not just for the event itself, but also to meet every one of you and everyone listening to the spaces, because at the end of the day, it's important to listen and to learn from the community, from the Korean community.
I've had a pleasure to actually spend a lot of time there and really listen to what the Korean community needs.
And based on that, we're there for that.
And we're very much looking to expand
our operations and have a very big presence at kbw in a few weeks yeah i'd also just like to
jump in and add something before before we drop off and say goodbye to this wonderful audience
that you've brought uh thank you very much for listening to us but for me personally as the ceo
of world mobile career is very exciting um
it's a tech forward culture that that's something that's very important so south korea leads in
in 5g mobile adoption uh and digital services uh exactly what world mobile is and we fit directly
into how koreans engage with with their tech uh fast efficient and community driven. Second, entrepreneurial incentives, right?
While mobile turns telecom into an ownership model, Koreans can run nodes, own infrastructure,
earn from it as well as use the plan. That's a very strong cultural fit where independent
income streams are already the norm in Korea. Privacy and sovereignty of course with the sk telecom hack uh it makes
everybody aware of how vulnerable these systems are so data privacy and digital independence are
definitely hot topics in korea and world mobile puts network ownership and user data right back
in the hands of the people so that's that's massively aligned and finally i think that is
really important um rule utility over just speculation.
I'm not saying that there won't be speculation on World Mobile.
We're already a top six used blockchain.
But this is something that can change the way the crypto is pursued and seen by people.
So it's very important that eventually something has real utility where demand and supply are a consequence of that real utility.
So for us, Korea is a perfect fit.
It's very similar to the United States of America in terms of its spectrum and its regulation.
So we're working very hard.
We have quite some people on the grounds.
We have an office there now and we're definitely here to stay in Korea.

Please say goodbye to our Korean committee.
You can read some Alpa for our Korean committee.
Could you say something for our committee?
Thank you very much for listening.
Looking forward to meeting you all in person in September.
Whoever can come will be putting on some events.
And stay strong.
And remember the most important thing,
other than water, air and food, is connectivity.
Without connectivity, we couldn't be having this call.
So together, we're unstoppable and we're reclaiming power.
Thank you very much.
