Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Hello, everyone.
It is now officially time to start, but I think we'll wait a couple more minutes just
to see if anybody else will trickle in and then we can get started.
Now, as for the questions, I will also try and read some questions
from the community in the Metis groups
as well as Last.ai groups.
So if you have any last-minute questions
you'd like to submit,
please put them into groups
and I will try to get to them at the end.
So we will start in about three minutes, I think.
Talk to you soon. Thank you. All right, I think we can get started.
It's a small group, but small groups are always fun because you can connect a little better, I feel, always.
So I look forward to speaking to all of you.
Hello, everyone. My name is Daniel Kwok.
I am the CCEO that is Chief Commercial Officer for Metis. So I look forward to speaking to all of you. Hello, everyone. My name is Daniel Kwok.
I am the CCO that is Chief Commercial Officer for Metis.
I am handling both the operations side and the marketing side and trying to bring you the best Metis that we possibly can in the year 2025.
I am also the head of marketing or marketing lead for Laz.ai.
the head of marketing for, or marketing lead for LAS AI.
I am running these two jobs because Metis is heavily incubating LAS AI
and I am helping oversee some of the direction
and some of the branding choices for LAS AI.
So please look forward to a renewed Metis and LAS AI in 2025.
I look forward to bringing you the best brand, the best community, the best ecosystem that
we can. Now, to start this off, I think I'll give a quick, a bit of an alpha, a bit of an update,
a bit of kind of how we're doing, how we see ourselves, and the strategy that we're trying to employ in the coming months.
We'll start there, work our way a bit into some of the key things
that we're hoping to achieve with these initiatives,
and then we'll run through the community questions.
By the way, this series of AMAs or spaces,
it is targeted specifically at trying to connect with you,
the community, a lot better.
We'll have these twice a month,
and I'll use these to try and speak to you as much as I can.
I would love audience participation.
I would love direct questions.
I would love for everyone to speak up when you can,
because it really is,
as the name says, it's a space, right? And it's a space for us to connect.
You know, it's, if we wanted to just give you one way information, if we wanted to give you
kind of canned questions and canned answers, then we can just do that through Twitter,
we can do that through blogs, PR, there's an innumerable number of ways that we could do this
to try and reach you to give you a prepared message.
But this way, I feel, is one of the best for us to feel a bit,
you know, more like a community, right?
A bit closer and try and really build that starting kind of drive
that feeling of community for Metis, Hyperion, and all that's
to come. So again, I welcome you. Thank you for joining. And I look forward to speaking with you
for the next hour. So Metis 2025, we've spoken endlessly about Regenesis. We've spoken endlessly about Regenesis. We've spoken endlessly about Hyperion. We've given you kind of our insights into AI. There was that recent letter from Elena on what the marriage between blockchain and how we are trying to look for ways to actually
generate value and capture that value for our community and really look for value-add activities
as a blockchain that's also driving use cases. We've given you all these things to try and set
a bit of a background on why we're going the way we are
and how we're really approaching things, the way we're thinking. And it really is to make sure that
we're not just kind of pushing things as a business one-sidedly, but we're also taking the
community and the ecosystem into consideration, making sure that we're aligned with the ecosystem, just as we're
saying AI needs to align with humans, right? We are a representation of the community, of the
ecosystem, just as much as AI is a representation of the intents and wishes of the builders of that
AI. So long story short, I'll quickly get into the kind of what's coming up for the next few months and things to be excited for.
So we haven't said this specifically anywhere yet, I don't think, but we will be having quite a long series of launch campaigns for the testnet and mainnet. This is something we're super excited about.
There's going to be a lot of ways
for not only projects to participate,
but also community members,
whether you're a whale
or you're just part of the community
that doesn't have any tokens
or any kind of further participation
outside of just keeping up with our news,
we'll have a lot of ways for you to be not just part of the community
and part of the campaign, but also try and take
and be part of some of the value generation
that's going to happen during this time period.
It's going to be in general in three phases.
So one is pre and post testnet launch that's coming up quite soon. And then we'll have middle of testnet and then we'll have pre and
post mainnet launch. Those three phases are divided specifically because the needs of the Hyperion
network are different and the time for, and the type of activities
that we'll be doing in each are very different.
There are some things that will run continuously
such as the hackathon that we'll be having.
And there's a lot of exciting news on that front.
We'll be bringing it to you probably in a few weeks
on the specifics.
There's a lot of new ways, new novel ideas,
not only in how you as a community or builder
can participate in these events,
but also the method and the day-to-day
and the tasks involved would be what I'm hoping
is not only just new, but also exciting
and really help build that, again, that sense of community.
I keep saying those words, but to me, it is actually quite important that we do get that
engagement. We do see the involvement from everyone who's taking part. So there's a lot
of cool things coming up. To give you a sneak peek, we'll have a place for everyone to gather, to share ideas, to have a bit of a discourse.
It's going to be intended to seep into quite a bit of the activities that we have planned for
those three phases, and it is here to stay afterwards. It is something that we're going to be putting some effort into, to making sure that we bring
not only the most exciting piece,
but also something that's actually lasting, right?
Because, you know, why put a lot of effort into it
if it's just gonna last for a short bit?
And of course, LAS.AI is going to be
an integral part of this as well.
LAS.AI, the ALITH agent framework,
and of course the new addition, corrupted ALITH.
If you don't know, by the way,
LAS AI is a company that is solving the data alignment problem
that is present when building AI and training AI models.
Agent framework is ALITH. It's basically a
framework on how to build an AI agent and make it easy for anyone to launch an agent.
And then corrupted ALITH is the representation of what happens when you use bad data to train
AI agents. So it's a bit of a fun kind of community thing.
It's a bit of a meme. It's a bit of a way to drive engagement, to drive discussions. We're hoping
that it, you know, with all the various marketing activities we have planned around it, we're hoping
that it takes off a bit in a viral sense, at least with Unrec community. And there's a lot of fun things to come. So please look forward
to that. Her pairing and launch campaign, like I said, those three phases are targeted at,
I would say, testing the network, first and foremost. And it's about helping reward those community members who have taken part in that testing.
It's to set the network up to make sure that once it launches,
it has everything it needs,
and that all the kinks are ironed out.
We'll have Laz.ai launch their testnet in May as well.
So that's coming up.
We look forward to collaboration on that front
in terms of the different campaigns
and the marketing activities involved.
And Laz.ai will also launch their mainnet sometime this year
is at least the planned date.
So there's a lot to look forward to on that front.
So in general, quite a few big milestones for the Metis ecosystem.
It's not just the launch of a new chain, but also a re-envisioning of what Metis is and the potential of Metis.
I think with Andromeda, the potential of Metis is pretty clearly defined.
By that, I don't mean it's
limited. When I say clearly defined, it's as a layer two, you know what layer twos can do, right?
Even if, even when we get to our target of becoming a stage one layer two by the end of the year,
we still all know precisely what a layer two is and we know how those ecosystems work and we know what
the fulfillment of our vision on that front looks like but when you're adding something like
Hyperion which is a completely different type of chain at least from what we've seen previously
right there has been some chains that are high performance on TPS through one method or another.
Some of them are high throughput, but low latency.
Some of them are low latency, but high...
Wait, some of them are high latency, but low throughput.
No, that doesn't make sense.
You know what I mean.
Sometimes they forgo one aspect to achieve the goal of having high TPS.
Sometimes they are focused only on TPS
and don't really provide other benefits or toolings
within their ecosystem or network
to try and help along specific verticals.
And sometimes they do, and that's fine.
But for us, I think having that whole package
where we are really low latency, high throughput,
parallel execution, Metis SDK, Metis VM,
there's Metis DB,
and there's, of course, LAS AI building on top of it as well.
I don't think anyone else is doing that.
We are the only ones.
We're doing it because we found that gap as well.
A lot of projects are saying they're focusing on layer 2 AI,
but a lot of them are just giving grants or holding hackathons,
but building a real home.
And I gave a bit of talk on this last time as well, but really allowing the AI industry to
have freedom on what they put on chain. I think that is going to be a big driver of change of
vision of uniqueness within the Hyperion ecosystem. So that's something I really look forward to.
on ecosystem. So that's something I really look forward to. And previously, we also talked on the
Metis SDK and how it can also act as a hub of liquidity for a lot of the other chains as well,
because it's, you know, it allows seamless interoperability between different chains. So
putting these things together, I am really excited to see what we can build, and we're excited to bring you the launch campaigns to really kick off that dream together.
some of the common questions in the communities,
but also it is very important to MEDIS
in terms of our strategy and our positioning
of the different chains of technologies.
So I'll touch on it here.
It's that MEDIS and Andromeda will coexist.
I'm sorry, Hyperion and Andromeda will coexist.
They are focusing on slightly different markets,
well, significantly different markets actually. One is focusing on AI,
high performance requirement projects such as GameFi, while the other is a more general
Web3 approach. It's going to be much better aligned with Ethereum, at least in terms of being a stage
one. It has a much longer track record. It has decentralized sequencers. It's the proven network
and it's kind of the bread and butter, right? Whereas for these AI projects, for these Game5
projects, for high frequency trading projects, for high-frequency trading projects, all of the
ones that would be looking into any benefits they can glean potentially from a high-performing
network, they would probably choose to build on Hyperion.
Not much prevents a project from building on one or the other. But it's, you know, if you're
into spicy food, then you're probably going to, you know, a restaurant that actually offers
spicy food as a specialty rather than, you know, going to a generic restaurant, right?
It's something in a similar vein where most of the projects would probably find a better home on Andromeda, whereas Hyperion will serve that specific sector.
And of course, all the tooling that comes with Hyperion as well, it adds that kind of another niche, another offering that might attract quite a few projects into really exploring
what's possible with their initial ideas.
And of course, at this time, and this was a big question,
at this time, there is no plans for a Hyperion token.
The Hyperion network will use the METIS token as GAS,
and when it launches, it will not have decentralized sequencers. That is a choice
to ensure that we are able to deliver on the performance before we have to start making those
sequencers decentralized. By nature of decentralized sequencers, you're adding distance, you're adding different environments to these
sequencers. So that inherently adds, I would say, complications or slowdowns to the network.
And there are ways around it. And we are, of course, looking into those, and we will be
developing those. But at least in the beginning, when the network first launches, because, you know, network launches always quite often come with problems, right?
Come with roadblocks or speed bumps that you weren't able to foresee.
So just to make sure we're able to deliver on our word, we're going to launch with a centralized sequencer,
and we will work towards making that decentralized as well.
I think that answers most of the common questions,
and that covers at least the big pieces that are coming up.
Another interesting thing, by the way,
at the very least on the speaking to community part,
is we have Natalia who's going to be on a couple spaces.
That's going to be very interesting.
It is probably going to be primarily around the letter to community by Elena
about again the marriage between AI and governance and she'll be doing two of those on
some significant platforms let's say. So please look forward to that. That's coming in the next few weeks.
And Elena, our dear leader,
she is also having an appearance on a podcast,
again, talking about the same topic.
So please look forward to that as well.
Basically, Elena's idea,
if you haven't had time to read the letter yet,
it speaks to the core of basically what governance is and how AI can aid with it.
And by governance, she doesn't mean just governance
on a chain such as Ethereum,
where you're helping direct the tech development.
It doesn't mean governance as in the CVP that we have,
where you vote to provide projects with marketing resources, but more of as in like actual governance, right?
Governing real world activities, people, countries, corporations, whatever it may be, even just a process.
even just a process. It refers to some of the greatest thinkers in history, such as Plato,
Socrates, Kant, basically any thinker who was a thinker that talked about politics and governance.
They all mentioned something in a very similar vein, which is that the people that govern should be some of the wisest and most educated in that society.
And that, of course, makes sense, right?
We want our leaders to be the most competent, the most well-educated, the most wise and rational,
so that we can trust them with the power that
they've been given. And Elena's letter, which was actually also independently the same idea,
was kind of pushed by Vitalik. But the idea is that AI in these days has become one of the most educated tools that we have.
And if you consider it as a person, then at the very least, the amount of knowledge and information available at its fingertips greatly outpaces anything that a single human could possibly have.
So that's basically what it is.
It's that AI has a place in governance,
not as a direct governing body,
but as at the very least an advisor.
Some of the risks involved how to solve the risks,
some of the problems that it could solve,
and how it would solve it. So please, if you have some time and you're interested in the risks, some of the problems that it could solve, and how it would solve it.
So please, if you have some time and you're interested in the topic, have a read. It's an
interesting read. Now, having gone over those pieces, I think it's time to get into some of
the questions. So how I'll do it is I'll read some of the questions from Voyage first, and then I'll move into questions from community feedback.
And then I'll try and touch on any questions in the groups of both Mettis and Lazai on Telegram if I can.
telegram if I can.
And then, of course, you can actually, yeah,
I'll do Voyage and then feedback,
and then I'll ask for any questions from the people here,
and then I'll do the telegram questions.
All right, so Voyage,
one of the most requested questions
was something that I briefly touched on already.
With Metis running both Andromeda and Hyperion for high-speed DApp action, how's that combo tackling the scalability, security, and speed?
Should people watch out for anything when using or building on these chains?
So this goes right back to Andromeda and Hyperion coexisting.
So Andromeda, while it does boast blazing, blinding speeds compared to Ethereum,
it's not going to compare to Hyperion.
Hyperion, we're targeting 1 to 2 gigahertz per second,
whereas MegaEth is sitting at 1.7 giga gas per second as its record.
So we're right in that kind of strike zone for being some of the one of the most high performing chains in the market.
Whereas Andromeda as an L2, it's fantastic.
It is absolutely quick.
It is not slow by any means.
The gas is cheap compared to a lot of our competitors,
and especially compared to Layer 1s.
It's fantastic all around.
It's stable.
It's good.
But again, for high speed, for scalability, that's Hyperion.
That's the one you want.
In terms of scalability, though, you also
have to consider the amount of projects on it, the amount of users on it, and the liquidity that's on
it. So obviously, in the beginning, Andromeda is going to outpace Hyperion just by the fact that
it's been running for several years, as compared to Hyperion, which is only going to launch on Testnet at the end of April
or its mainnet in August. So it hasn't had time to build the projects or the uses, use cases,
or the user base yet. So in terms of scalability, depending on how you're defining it,
they're both absolutely going to play a part. If you're looking at specifically
the scalability of that specific network,
then Hyperion is just going to outpace it
purely by its tech specs, right?
Like I mentioned previously,
there's the parallel execution.
There's the centralized sequencer
as compared to the decentralized sequencers on Andromeda.
And the network is just from the ground up designed to be as quick as possible.
So on the scalability front, that's basically what it's going to look like.
Security, Andromeda, it's secure.
I mean, it's, you know, stage zero is going to launch quite soon.
So please stay updated for that.
It's going to reach stage one
by the end of the year.
It's been in operations for quite a while.
And I would say as a network,
it's performed quite admirably
in terms of security.
And speed, of course, same thing,
similar to scalability, but slightly different. But again, it's a Hyperion wins,
hands down. There's not going to be that much in terms of
collaboration, I guess, between Andromeda and Hyperion in terms of speed,
right? It's not like Andromeda is helping Hyperion
achieve its high speeds.
But as a combo, which was the question,
on scalability, security, and speed,
they both kind of have their niches and specialties.
Of course, Hyperion is still secure.
No question about that,
but it's more proven at the same time, right?
With that stage zero and stage one.
And of course, there's that track record as well.
And then in terms of scalability, of course, Andromeda is scalable.
Andromeda has been scaling consistently.
It's been growing larger.
Transactions has been going up consistently.
But Hyperion joining the fray is just going to blow it out of the water for sure.
And then should people watch out for anything when using or building on these chains?
So that is going to be a very, I would say, developer heavy question.
I am not much of a developer, sorry to admit.
I am not much of a developer.
Sorry to admit.
But in general, what I want to see more of is looking at the opportunities, right?
As builders, it's very easy to kind of get pigeonholed into our own ideas.
And then we're not able to kind of look to the side to see what's available.
And sometimes even when we do look,
we kind of look at it either through rose-tinted glasses
or glasses that are just tinted in my own brand colors, right?
But for example, if you're launching on Hyperion
and you're at Dex, look at the Hyperion network itself.
It's capable of so much, right?
Maybe consider adding high-frequency trading functions.
Maybe consider adding ALYTH framework as a DFAI agent
to help with that high-frequency trading.
Maybe look at the Metis SDK
as a way to bring outside liquidity
as an interactable, accessible extra
that you can bring onto your decks.
There's a lot of different ways
that you can take advantage
of what's available to you,
not just on the technology front, but also in the ecosystem.
There's a lot of things that you can do with ecosystem partners.
There's a lot of new and creative ideas that you can enact with, say, the voyage campaigns or some of our staking or DEX protocols available.
or staking or DEX protocols available.
There's a whole host of user education
or social elements in our ecosystem as well
that you could take advantage of.
It would just be good to see some novel kind of ideas
now percolating to the top.
And that's what I want to see more of, right?
And we'll be focusing on kind of allowing that interaction to happen for ideas to kind of come together because a lot of the times
builders need to talk to other builders to really flesh out their idea. And sometimes this added
topping of a cherry on top, like that one cherry can really make the difference
on your project, whether it's a massive success
or it doesn't meet your expectations.
And having those discussions
can really help you get there sometimes.
And we're going to be providing everyone with a place
to really help find that cherry
and help that cherry find you too.
It's not just a one way street.
So we're excited to bring that to you.
And that'll be part of the Hyperion launch campaigns.
So please look forward to that.
A lot of us are working very hard on it.
So I hope you use it as much as you can.
Next question.
It's how will Hyperion and Hyperion slash Andromeda
and Metis be combined?
So you can think of it as,
how would you want to say it?
I don't know if how many people know cars here,
but actually something simple so ipads and iphones are completely different product
lines in apple but there's both apple right metis is apple and hyperion is the iphone and andromeda
is the macbook right it's two different. They're both a significant part of that company
and they help define what that company
actually is capable of, right?
So again, Hyperion is going to be that shiny new thing
that really is able to post fancy numbers as records
and try and get those flashy AI agents and companies on
board. Whereas Andromeda is the bread and butter. It's the, it's the consistent force, the foundation
that everything is built on. And then Metis is the all encompassing brand. It's the,
it's the Metis goddess. It's that green color that we have. It's that logo.
It's all of you in the community.
It's the ecosystem of both Metis and Hyperion combined.
And Metis is the community that you belong to,
whether you're on Hyperion or Andromeda.
And of course, the Metis SDK and all these things
allow quite a bit of interoperability
between those two chains
so in terms of actually combining
the two I think
a lot of that
would probably come into play
we'll have bridges
we'll have probably a way to
interact with
liquidity on the other side
one way or another.
A lot of interesting things to come on that front.
Next question.
How does Hyperion surpass order limit on the chain?
I'm sorry.
I actually don't know the answer to this question.
I will get back to you.
Once I found out the answer, I will actually post it on Twitter.
So if you ask that question, please stay up to date on my Twitter account.
And I'll also try and post it onto the MetisMain account as well.
But yeah, I will look into it.
And then last question.
I actually like this question.
What makes Hyperion different?
Or is it just a cool name?
So thanks for calling it a cool name.
Name was my idea.
So I appreciate it.
So to actually go into a bit about the name itself, um, and we should actually have a, have a tweet thread or something about this.
Hyperion is the name of a Greek Titan. Um, so that kind of keeps in theme with, uh, with Metis, with Andromeda. And Hyperion, as a Greek Titan,
is known for his amazing speed
and his rule over the cosmos.
And rule over the cosmos also ties into Andromeda.
Also another interesting fact is Hyperion
is the name of the largest super galaxy cluster and the oldest super galaxy cluster in the known universe.
Again, ties into Andromeda.
It is the largest and the fastest.
And this is a bit of a stretch, but also if you're a bit of a reader, especially in sci-fi, Hyperion is the name of a very, very famous
series of books by Dan Simmons. It's called Hyperion Kantos. And Hyperion is this thing
devised, and then there's like an AI running rampant in it. It's all those things. But anyways,
long story short, Hyperion speaks directly to the value proposition of Hyperion, which is, like I said, all those things about its tech from the different pieces like MetastDB, parallel execution to its focus in AI.
Um, so again, kind of going back to what I said last time, um, because Hyperion allows
projects to put more on chain than previously, um, what I'm envisioning is when Ethereum
came to the block and it pushed its first smart contracts and people understood what
smart contracts were.
It completely revolutionized how we think about distributed computing.
It completely revolutionized how we build projects, how we build companies, how we create and extract value, how we distribute that value and what we imagine as governance.
And then, of course, there's all the token and value and investment and all that side of things.
But the very mere existence of smart contracts
completely changed quite a lot in real terms
of what it means to be a business,
at least in our industry.
What I'm envisioning is that Hyperion
provides the same opportunity for AI to revolutionize itself.
So you can imagine now that projects are able to put things on smart contracts,
you now have an immutable ledger, you have proof, you have trustless computing,
you have trustless proof of a transaction or an execution having taken place.
That's the same with Hyperion and AI.
Now, AI projects can put a lot more on chain by the mere fact that it is that high performance,
that it can provide a lot of other tooling like the MetisDB or immediate access to LAS AI.
It allows LAS AI to exist, for example.
When LAS AI launches,
it'll basically be using Hyperion as the execution layer.
So Hyperion, what makes it different
is all those things combined.
It's not just one thing.
I can't point to one thing and say,
you know, this will make us the best in the industry. I think it's the whole package.
And I would say that that is the same for, for example, the iPhone, right? The idea and the
concept of a smartphone with, you know, touchscreen came quite a bit before the iPhone. I don't know if
anybody remembers Palm Pilots. That might be dating me a little bit. But Palm Pilots came
quite a bit before the iPhones, and they crashed and burned quite hard. The reason is, one of the
big reasons was just the markets and internet and computing just wasn't ready for it yet because it required too much.
But that's also similar for Hyperion, right?
Right now, blockchain space is not ready to accept AI in its full form.
But with Hyperion, we will be.
But also, iPhone had the complete package.
It had access to iTunes, which was massive at that time, coming right off the iPod success. It also had the right branding. It had Steve Jobs pushing it. And Steve Jobs, by the virtue of the iPod succeeding, and of course, with the launch of the iPhone, people now had a founder to rally around.
All of these things came together in a perfect storm to really produce what the iPhone is
today and what the Apple brand is today.
I would say that's the same thing for Hyperion.
I think it's a perfect storm of these different facets of the technology coming together.
It's also the industry of both AI and blockchain
reaching a point where they're really trying to find value
in marrying the two.
AI has become mature enough
to really try and find its real usage,
real value in the business world
and the world at large to really try and make a run for it, right,
in terms of blockchain.
So all these things coming together, I think,
it's a fantastic time.
And regardless of what the markets are doing,
token price and whatnot,
regardless of what happens in that front, whether, you know, Bitcoin hits whatever dollar
figure again, whether it's up or down.
I think in terms of strategy, in terms of timing of technologies, in tech trends, I
think it's a perfect fit all around.
So that is what makes Hyperion different. And then there's quite a bit
of questions, actually, I think like 100 something questions came in through Voyage. So I'll try and
pick out a few. And of course, some of these questions kind of repeat. So I'll try and pick out about two or three more from Voyage
and then I'll move on to the next.
So the question was,
you have two years roadmap for creating Hyperion.
Do you think two years is not so long period of time
for current market demand?
We actually didn't take two years to create Hyperion.
We actually came up with the idea,
I think sometime last year.
To be honest, I think the idea kind of came
to our tech leads and our leadership a bit before that.
And then they started working on it kind of in secret
and then did a lot of things like feasibility studies,
see if it's a good fit,
see if it's the right timing in terms of tech trends
in the blockchain space.
And then we built it quite quickly, I think,
at least in terms of it's not anything near two
years. So that's why we've been in a bit of, I would say, marketing had a bit of a slowdown
because we were all focusing on trying to make sure that everything else is on time, including
things like the launch campaigns. And we want to make sure that, you know, we hit the right key
points, hit the right messages and provide you with the most value add activities we could find for the launch campaigns.
So that's why we had a bit of a lull, but we are picking back up and our marketing is only going
to improve from here on out. So please, please keep an eye on us.
How can I help Metis? This is a fantastic question.
Number one, please tell your friends.
Please don't be that, you know, that one guy that's, or, you know,
woman that's always talking about, you know, blockchain or crypto to your friends.
But also I think community engagement is significant.
One voice in the group chats,
so the Metis group,
just one voice can completely change
the feel of a community.
So are you posting?
Are you messaging often?
Maybe you come in and say, hey, good morning. I saw your tweet very funny, or I saw your, I saw this, you know, other influencers
tweet. What do you think? Right. Just bringing up conversation, ask questions, ask open-ended
questions. Please tell us if we're doing something right. And if we're doing something wrong, um,
please don't be scared to mention it. Umably maybe DM the mods, but it's fine if you voice them in the group as well.
As long as we get those feedback, that'll absolutely help us improve.
So yeah, I would say it's about just engagement.
Just don't be afraid to open up message, you know, just chat with the other members.
We'll be providing you with more places
to engage with the rest of the community as well.
So that's absolutely the best way you could help.
And then of course, if you have specific skill sets,
we would love to have you in the hackathon.
Also, please keep an eye on, you know,
our job openings as well
we'd love to have you on board you know community-born uh team members are quite often the
most um the most loyal and the one that's willing to really keep metis as their top priority instead
of um instead of other things so um, okay, next question.
Why do you corrupt Alice?
We didn't.
I promise you that wasn't us.
Someone else did it.
We have an origin story coming up.
So stay tuned for that.
Next question, quite similar vein.
Can we explain like on five about Hyperion
and about this corrupted Alice, please?
So quick version of Hyperion, super, super fast network.
It can handle basically, you know, the very high requirements of GameFi and AI.
And it has all the right toolings to support it.
Corrupted Alice is what happens when you train AI with bad data. That simple.
And then I will do one last question. And that is
Oh, sorry, this question doesn't have a topic in it. The question was, how do you see the future about it?
I don't know what they're asking about, but in general, I will say the future of Metis is a household name for AI and blockchain. blockchain and for layer twos with actual activity, comparable to some active layer ones as well.
So it won't be just about AI. It won't be just about GameFi. It won't be just about high frequency
trading. It'll also have a thriving ecosystem in Andromeda as well. Yeah. okay. So that's the Voyage questions.
I'll try to get to more next time.
I have this again in two weeks, remember.
So please keep posting your questions on Voyage.
I'll get back to you and answer them as much as I can.
And also, I try to hang out in the groups once in a while.
So if you have questions, you can message, ask there as well.
So community feedbacks.
This was questions collected by the moderators in our Telegram group.
So suggestion of getting new videos and promotional material for Lazzai.
We're working on it.
We have some cool stuff coming up.
Everything from videos.
Explainer videos.
Promotional videos.
And a lot of promotional content, explainer content, educational content,
engagement content, awareness content.
Basically, Lazz.ai marketing now has the right and enough support to really hit its stride.
And I expect that to happen within the next few weeks.
So please look out for that.
We'll also have a lot of offline events as well.
We have one coming up in Korea next week, as well as Japan, Tokyo.
And then we'll be taking part in some bigger events in June.
So stay tuned for that piece of news.
So we did one question or comment
was about reaching stage one and when that's gonna happen.
So I think it's important to note that, you know, we'll be doing it in stages.
Like the name says, we'll be hitting stage zero quite soon, hopefully.
And we will be timing that with the upgrade of the Ethereum network as well.
So that we can get our data availability on it and the fraud proofs.
And then stage one is coming at later end of the year. data availability on it and the fraud proofs.
And then stage one is coming at later end of the year.
We're targeting end of year, so it should be done by then.
And then there was quite a few comments that was looking for more ways to get involved and trying to see if there's any incentivized ways of being
rewarded for that involvement.
We will be having a lot of that.
That is in part with the Voyage, no, not Voyage, Hyperion launch campaigns.
There will be quite a lot of ways.
So it might actually be too many ways.
So I'm not sure if everybody will be able to do everything
because what we're trying to do is we're trying to make sure
that everyone has some way of taking part.
And if you try and include everyone, then by nature of that,
some people are in a bit more of a niche.
Some people only use the network a certain way.
So you won't always be able to cover everyone with every task or every method of involvement,
but we'll be having that coming up quite soon.
And then the last question I'll do from the community is, is there a way to utilize both
chains when building a single D app or only one can be used at a time?
So that is a, well, it is a simple question in that you will be able to launch on one at a time,
but nothing prevents you from launching on both at the same time.
So, for example, in your D app, in your widget, in your plugin, whatever it is that you choose
to launch your project with, you could, for example,
have just a toggle on whether you wanna be using
Hyperion or Andromeda.
And it could just switch networks very easily.
The underlying, a lot of the underlying code
is quite the same and
if you launch on one it'll be incredibly easy to launch on the other um and then of course there's
ways of putting only specific tasks on specific chains so let's say you have a platform let's say
you have a game where um you know you can mint and characters of NFTs.
And that specific smart contract can be on Andromeda,
whereas any in-game kind of real-time requirements
can be put on Hyperion.
And then you can just combine the results later on
because they'll, of course,
they're both layer twos built on ethereum so the the what
is it the history of it the data of it will be aligned anyways okay I think for community questions, we'll take that as a last question for now.
And I think we can move on to community questions
for the people that are here for the next 10 minutes.
And if we don't have,
we can move to what's been asked in the groups.
So I opened the floor.
I think I have one request here from.
Uh, Mohammed Hisham.
Um, yeah, I've requested to speak. I don't know if that was
a question.
Um, did you have a question?
Nope. Okay. Um, if anybody has any questions, you can request to speak in the Twitter spaces. All right.
Well, if you have any questions, you can please put your hand up and I will get to you at any time before the end of these spaces.
I will eventually get the community to talk, though.
I know some people don't really want to speak publicly and that's fine.
But eventually we'll get someone to talk. I don't want to be the only one that talks.
OK, so some more questions.
All right, I got a question here.
So there was a, this is actually a bit of a maintenance thing.
There was a bit of, I would say, confusion around Binance and USDT for Metis.
So the Binance-USDT pair.
I believe that is a Europe-specific problem.
And it was that USDT, Binance, and Europe don't really play nicely with each other.
And we should be getting a USDC pair as far as I know.
So if that doesn't get resolved anytime soon,
please also ask our community mods.
They should be somewhat up to date on the progress on that.
At the very least, once it gets solved
or if it still hasn't been solved right um
so another question or at least a suggestion request was that um a lot of the content that we put out, and especially for localized content, we have a bit more, how would you say, broader approach to our targeting and our writing.
So it's either too technical or kind of vague sometimes, I guess, especially in translation.
vague sometimes, I guess, especially in translation. We'll try to improve that. I'll make sure that I
We'll try to improve that.
get connected to all of the local communities and our leaders and try and make sure that
we improve this process as much as we can. Another is,
Another is when is Hyperion going to be decentralized?
To be honest, that is actually in part up to how Hyperion performs
when it first launches and the activity seen on Hyperion.
So, for example, when Hyperion first launches,
it's difficult to really get it to perform
at the level where we're satisfied
so if it's not hitting for example like 1.5 giga gas or like 2
then we might consider keeping it at
a centralized sequencer for a bit longer
or if we're not able to make the decentralized sequencers
perform at that level
then it might take us a bit longer naturally or if we're not able to make the decentralized sequencers perform at that level,
then it might take us a bit longer naturally
to integrate that into the system.
So it's a bit of a non-answer,
but in short, it is really,
we need to see how everything performs
and we'll try and make sure that when we do bring it in,
it makes the most sense for both Hyperion
and the projects and users involved.
Decentralized sequencers provide a lot of value
in terms of trust,
in terms of our commitment to decentralization.
It's one of the things that we really do hold dear,
especially if you consider that Andromeda was the first
to launch with decentralized sequencers.
You can see kind of how it takes priority in our minds.
So we'll try and make it happen,
but also we have to be conscious
of all the other pieces that fit into it.
And then can Hyperion be leveraged
by other blockchains or developers
