So the East obviously, you know, they're still holding it down.
Is Detroit still at the top right now?
They're ahead right now by seven and a half games or actually four and a half on Boston.
But Boston is making a strong lead.
So we got Detroit, Boston, New York, Cavs, Toronto and Philly in the top six right now.
And then pretty much for that playing spot, we got Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Charlotte, which right now I think Orlando and Miami could still push in,
try to make a good strong standing for maybe even tie for sixth or fifth right now
because Toronto might be slowing down.
But other than that, yeah, I think I really like Detroit still being strong.
They just fucking smacked everybody.
I mean, smacked the, what do you call it, last night, the Knicks.
So that wasn't even fun to watch for the Knicks.
So whoever's a Knicks fan, I feel bad for y'all.
But obviously, you guys didn't play with any towns or anybody, so that happens.

So we got Charlotte filling out the 10th spot.
And then obviously the garbage spots.
We got Chicago, Milwaukee, Washington, Brooklyn, and Indiana.
So, and then when we go to the West right now, you know, obviously we still got OKC rounding out the top,
still smacking everybody, leading a lot.
They are ahead of San Antonio by only four and a half games right now, which is not bad. I mean, OKC is kind of just they're just they're losing some momentum right now just because
of Jalen Williams is hurt.
So that's the only thing right now with them.
But I still think they got a strong squad that still holds first for as long as possible.
And then obviously we got the Denver Nuggets.
You know, we got Joker coming back.
You know, he's he's definitely helped them step it back up, even though the bench players and all the role players helped Jamal Murray, you know, throughout the time that Joker was gone and his hiatus.
And then now we got in the fourth spot, we got Houston.
Then we got fifth in the Lakers.
And then we got sixth for Minnesota.
And then we got for the seventh through tenth, we got Phoenix, Golden State, Clippers, and then Portland.
And, whew, I mean, right now, right now for the top ten, man, honestly, I see only right now going through one through five being solid teams, actually.
Actually, one through six, I think everybody would be holding their own.
Maybe Denver will catch up to San Antonio,
or Houston might catch up to Denver,
but it's going to be a close run probably in those top six.
But 7-10 spot, though, that's going to be a tough one for everybody because right now Phoenix is playing a really good ball.
Golden State, unfortunately, they lost Jimmy,
but they got Porcini, who probably won't be playing for the rest of the season anyway,
so that really doesn't matter.
They got rid of Trace Jackson, which kind of hurt them.
So I think the Golden State Warriors might actually drop a little, and even the Clippers
might.
I think the Clippers could top them, being that they lost hard, and they still got some
firepower down there.
But I like, yeah, the Clippers might take over the Golden State spot, and then Portland
might take over Golden State spot.
So, honestly, it could be, you could be seeing Phoenix, the Clippers,
and then Portland, and then Golden State.
I kind of barely be hitting that play-in spot.
And then now we have for, obviously, the garbage trash teams.
We've got Memphis, Dallas, Utah, New Orleans, and Sacramento
rounding out the bottom.
But, you know, I mean, those teams are in the rebuilding.

we're not going to see Memphis for a while just because of all the Josh
stunts and everything, but they'll be rebuilding.
And we'll see them probably hit a, for how young they are,
I see they'll probably make a play in by next year.
They'll get, you know what I mean, they'll get some more veterans around them, help them out.
But, yeah, I mean, it's a tough one right now.
All those bottom teams are going to be rebuilding.
Like, those are all the teams right now that will be looking for, like, a Giannis or looking for, you know what I mean, like, that big player.
Because they're the ones that's saving up all their money right now for what they can.

where we're going in sports medicine and just sports science right now,
it's just pretty much just giving more longevity for these players,
obviously giving them, you know, a faster recovery too.
But, like, I don't know if that's good on your mental, though.

So the mental part of that is insane, especially with such a serious injury as a torn Achilles,
which is wild because when I was playing, man, I don't remember almost anyone having that injury.
And now if you look at the biggest stars like Kobe, Kevin Durant, Lillard.
It was crazy how many people actually had that injury.

game got faster the trainers started doing where they were working on your quick twitch muscles

these athletes are hurting themselves because of like they were you know they were working on so
much explosive power and not for like longevity power nowadays so yeah we also
saw uh derrick rose right his jersey being retired in in chicago which is great another incredible
player man and injuries did him uh quite awful uh man these players they are so fast it's it's impossible for their bodies to actually keep up
right it's if you look when he was young it's unbelievable what he did absolutely crazy so
great to see that and maybe we can get into the trades and then we can get into some highlights
because cooper flag he's been killing it again man that kid oh my god what's going on there
man i told you like i said it's just his team right now like
they're literally just they just gave him the keys you know they said here you just drive us
as far as you can you know we'll put the gas in and like i said i i told you they're putting him
into a position where he's not even like usually you doing that you know i mean like he's not a
point guard they're making him a uh you know i mean a point forward right now they're putting
him in like that magic johnson position where you know, there's like, hey, go do what you can.
Just just do whatever you can. Make everybody better around you, which is working perfect in his favor.
Because, I mean, him coming out of college and already playing with, I mean, beating up the USA team.
That already helped his mentality, knowing that if when he came into the league, he was going to be killing anybody that was standing in front of him anyway.
I mean, he's a mismatch.
For any team, he's a mismatch.
It doesn't matter who you throw at him.
Like I said, obviously, you can't throw any guards at him.
They're going to be too small.
You can't throw any power forwards at him.
They're going to be too slow.
You can't throw a big at him.
He's just going to jump right over him because he's so athletic.

Cooper Flagg, he is one in his own.
Like that dude, like I said, he is,
he's going to be a legend for a while.
And like I said, you just put more better players around him.
It's going to help him facilitate even better too.
And that's just going to make him like elevate his game
where he's making everybody else better around him
because he's obviously drawing double teams
and triple teams right now.
And the Dallas Mavericks aren't even that good good but it's just the fact that he's producing and
already drawing all this that the fact that if you give him a Kyrie Irving obviously we have
Klay Thompson he's just not shooting as good right now this year but you know when you actually put
this team together and glue it together next year like they're going to be really good you know I
mean they're gonna have shooting they're gonna have year, like they're going to be really good. You know, I mean, they're going to have shooting, they're going to have a point guard, they're going to
have athletic power forwards, they're going to be there have defense, they have rebounding,
like it's going to be them in the Spurs and Houston and all these teams who are just, you know,
I mean, right, just literally just setting their whole starting five is like six, five to seven,
one, you know, I mean, that's where it's going to be at next year. And that's why I feel like Dallas will have an upper hand, too,
because they can, besides Kyrie Irving,
they can have a start at all lineup out there.
And that's just going to help them just get it better anyway.
So I really like where Cooper Flagg is going,
and I really hope that they don't ever do anything stupid
and get rid of him.

the league now, now that we see all our, you know, older players and all these, you know,

seeing all these younger teams now doing the rotation where we, you know, we saw Washington

turn, like the magic and all this stuff, just because of, like I said, it's just the turning
of the guard. You know what I mean? Everyone's, it's just their time to get
ready to get out of there. And I think with Anthony Davis and them in Washington, they are
actually really, I mean, I think they are the youngest team in the league right now. They just
became the youngest team in the league. If you don't count Anthony Davis and Trey Young. So,
yeah, I mean, their upside is just really looking good. So, I mean, everyone So, yeah, I mean, their upside is just really looking good.

where if everybody stays healthy, I think the Pacers are right back in the playoffs

helping Aaron Neesmith. But I mean, other than that, you guys are supporting Cass is going to
be filthy next year. That's why I'm like, yeah, like Zubat's turning you guys into that. Like,
it's going to be, you guys would be half court champions, honestly, like all day. Like you guys
will be able to slow the game down. And then when you're having Tyrese on the fast break, you've got to speed it up. So that's why I think you guys
are going to be able to fuck up a lot of fucking defensive schemes for sure. So that was one of
the good ones. I really liked that one because Zubats is one of my favorite bigs. He's always
been that like actual traditional back to the back big. Yeah. And it's like Benedict Mather,
and I love him, but the reality is the Pacers had tried to like allow him kind of like to take a starting role a couple different times actually the last couple years.

And at the end of the day, it's just like for the Pacers squad, he was best as like that sixth man.

we saw some
number one drafts that went into

And what was the guy that actually was drafted by Detroit back in the day?

And man, that was such a probably bad draft.
But Detroit actually said that if we drafted Superstar, we wouldn't
won those titles, so, damn, what was the name of

And I think that was when his last year was. So, but yeah, honestly, man, shoot. Ain't nobody like Melo, dude. I swear to you, man. He innovated being and shooting out of a telephone booth, literally.
That man did not need any dribbles.
All he had to do was just jab your ass to death, and you was out of the way.
Jab you, and he was either jabbing you, going by you, and dunking,
jabbing you, or shooting.
It didn't matter.
It was an automatic bucket.
So, yeah, Carmelo's off
The fact that his son right now is cooking in Syracuse. I'm happy about that, too
It's wild, right? Like how many actually NBA players and how many their kids
Make it to NBA, right? Or made it to NBA. It's wild, bro. It helps probably, of course,
genes that if your father made it to NBA, you have
some extra power in your genes too, but probably also the knowledge
and connections and everything, right? It helps a lot.

the best example, I would even say just because obviously, you know, I know them, but like Greg and his son Cole, like, I mean, just the fact that he's been mentally preparing Cole for like, obviously, Cole's always wanted to play basketball and be an NBA player like his dad but when he went after he went to uh the ucla camp and ended up going to
north carolina like that was what he knew mentally that he wanted to do and you know that's what he
was like he was going to be doing for the rest of his career and his dad was preparing him like hey
this is what's going to happen like you know i mean there's going to be ups downs falls ladies
you know i mean all types of mishaps and he actually you know he got him prepared mentally
when i tell you he he told him like hey hey, this is how the NBA is, man.
You're a business.
This is a business.
You could be drafted, and then the next day you could be sent on to another team.
So he was preparing Cole for so many things that were happening in the NBA just because he experienced it, which was just a blessing.
So I think that's what helped Cole be so mature when he came into the NBA right away when he got drafted by the Magic.
Yeah, it's great that you have a, you can see, right, what it takes to be a pro if you're dead, plays in NBA.
So, man, I think it's great.

I think those are the best things right now just because you're about to see the craziest summer ever because it's about to be so many teams trying to fight for big names.
Like, we're going to be literally seeing a boxing match of like,
all right, well, hey, you got Giannis.
Well, guess what we're going to do?
We're going to throw in our whole team.
We're going to give you brand-new washer and dryers.
We're going to get you a couple, you know what I mean?
Like, they're going to be doing all types of stuff for Giannis, man.
Like, and Ja.
Like, we're going to see Tyro Hero, Zion. Like, they're going to be doing all types of stuff for Giannis, man. Like, and Ja. Like, we're going to see Tyro Hero, Zion.
Like, there is going to be big names.
Like, all these contracts and everybody, they're expiring.
They're coming up.
So, that's like, I'm excited for this off-summer, off-season for sure,
just to see what's going to happen with all these teams trying to fight for Giannis.
Because wherever he goes, it's going to literally change the balance of the force no matter what.
So we'll see a different league.
Like we're obviously going to see some younger teams starting to come around.
But right now we're all, you know,
kind of just putting our eyes and ears on where Giannis is going to go
and where Ja's going to go, you know.
And I think Ja should go to Milwaukee.
That's where he should just go.
Just go there with Giannis.
It would be so much better as if they just paired up,
and then that would just help Giannis and say, like, all right, you know,
you've got a superstar there.
This will keep him out of trouble because there ain't shit to do in Milwaukee.
So that might be a good fit for him there.
So we'll see.
But, yeah, those are just my thoughts and little, you know, tidbits on the NBA and the trades today.
