The Knicks, number two.
I believe that they are still the betting favorites to win the East,
which again, they're only a game and a half back.
They're battle-tested.
They're experienced.
They've got studs.
They've got the role players.
The Knicks are no joke.
And it would not surprise me at all to see them win the East.
I do think that they are rightfully the favorite.
In the three seed right now is the Boston Celtics playing some terrific ball.
Jalen Brown is just putting on that him hat for sure in terms of being the alpha.
That's what you get when you get a great organization like the Celtics.
You lose your best player in Jason Tatum.
Still be 21-12.
Pretty wild. People had them in the gutter for
this season, which was a massive oversight. Then you get to the teams that are, you know,
slightly above 500. You got the Raptors in the four seed, 20 and 15. Sixers hanging around 18 and 14, the Magic 19-15, the Heat 19-15, the Cavs 19-16.
That is one, two, three, four, five teams within a span of one game.
So, however, that's going to shake out one way or another.

magic heat and calves is one of those teams better than another.

you know they'll do their thing but yeah I really like Orlando being that sneaky one that will actually sneak in
and probably take back to maybe even the eighth or seventh seed this year,
depending on how healthy they are.
They need Fromm's back.
But, like, right now –
They're in the sixth.

Depends on how they – you know, around the end of the season,
I'd say they'll probably end up being, like, in the eighth.

Like they, they've been proven they've been in the playoffs.
They've, they've done this for a while and all those,
most of those other teams have a lot of vets.
So that's why I'm like, they're leaning on that. So, but yeah, that's my,

And so they got to get rid of them.
They got to trade them.
They just signed in bead with his,
you know,
bad knees to an extension,
which hasn't even kicked in yet,
which is crazy. And they've got the Paul George contract. In theory, you'd think it would work
out, but I just, they don't really have like an identity right now. Right. Um, they, what their
identity should be get it and go play fast. Maxi edge comb, even McCain, McCain's a beast. Quentin
Grimes. They've got some, some interesting athletes, but then when the beads in the, Edgecombe, even McCain. McCain's a beast. Quentin Grimes, they've got some interesting athletes.
But then when Embiid's in the game, it all slows down, right?
It takes up the entire rhythm.
He's still going to go out and get you 30 and 10, but it just doesn't look good.

So I'm bearish on the Sixers as long as Embiid is still there,
which is crazy because, you know, when healthy,
it's one of the most dominant players the NBA has ever seen.
And I don't say that lightly.
Like a healthy Joel Embiid is one of the most dominant players
the NBA has ever seen.
It's a shame that the shelf life is just so short for the guy.
But they've got the leadership.
Maxey, again, Maxey is the leader of this team.
He's young, he's hungry.
He, it rubs off on others
and they're going to make the playoffs.
I've got no doubt about that.
But it's, you know,
it's going to be, it's going to be interesting to see.
Again, they've got a really nice young core.
Then they've got guys like Dominic Barlow playing. Okay

But as long as you keep those two and just literally start rebuilding from there, they'll be just fine.
Because right now, obviously, yeah, they will make the playoffs.
You know, I mean, you have an Embiid on your team so that you always have a fighting chance.
Him or Giannis on your team, you're always going to have a fighting chance no matter what.
But it's if they stay healthy.
And that's the only thing.
That's why I'm like the Sixers' success is literally based on if Embiid is healthy or not.
Because obviously they don't even run a set offense.
You know what I mean?
It's really just get the ball and go.
Give it to Maxie.

Kind of do a pick and roll like you feel me.
But other than that, no.

so much money around that.
They'll be able to bring anybody they want.

cooper flag this again this is the official kia rookie ladder cooper flag has assumed the top spot
for now and he probably will not let that up. He's starting to really ball.
Dallas doesn't have much to play for this year, and they're really going to... The whole focus
of the Dallas Mavericks season this year is to build around Cooper Flagg and let this kid develop.
So him being at number one is not surprising. Averaging 24 points, five assists on 51% from the field in December. And he is absolutely
on the ascent. Number two, my man, Con Canupple, baby. I just love watching this guy play basketball.
Just love watching this kid play basketball. He's the future of the Hornets, averaging 19 points,
five rebounds, three assists on the season. He was the fourth pick in the draft and he has been as advertised not only can he shoot
He's tough. He plays lots of minutes. He plays only missed one game all season
The Hornets have somebody they can really build on him in
LaMelo if LaMelo decides to stick around or if they want to keep lamello we'll be there number three vj edgecomb again uh huge drop off when it comes to the top two i don't think vj has an actual
shot to win rookie of the year anymore so i'm gonna try and sell that sell that bet but you
know he's still stud right uh last tuesday's game 25 points, six boards, four assists, five threes,
and he's clutch.
He's got that clutch gene.
I'm going to say, man, he still might be in the running, Squiddy,
just for, like I said, rookie of the year, bro.
He's got two game winners right now already as a rookie.
