But could you give us a short overview for people that they are not familiar
what live art is?
Yes, absolutely.
So live art, we've actually started as an art company
to bring more transparency to the art market.
So that was our kind of first iteration of the company.
And we've created the largest free art prize database in the art world.
So from that, we've started working with big traditional artists like Jummin Jun to bring them on chain.
So we worked with them to develop NFT collections. And now the company has grown into world assets,
with art being the first category that we are tokenizing. That being primarily because because the founding team is strong in the art market sector.
So we've picked a few assets within art to launch with.
One of them being Jeff Koons Balloon Dog
that we have brought on Chain to Ape Chain.
And for anyone that is not familiar with Jeff Koons,
Jeff Koons is a big contemporary artist.
His market cap is around $1.6 billion.
And I think his highest auction record is like $91-92 million for a bunny sculpture.
And one of his big balloon dogs. So just for reference, the balloon dog exists
in two forms. One is five sculptures that are huge, massive sculptures and one that is the
additioned sculptures, which is the one that we have. But the massive ones are considered like billionaires trophies and they have sold for up
to 52 million dollars at auction so yeah very excited quick TLDR maybe we are not that rich
but but it's amazing I I check check your site I check I also saw the art which is which is
really really cool.
Why did you guys pick ApeChain?
Because we always talk here about we need more use cases, more services, more platforms, more companies using ApeChain, right?
So I'm really curious.
Why did you pick ApeChain?
Yeah, that's a really great question.
Well, for us, we're very passionate about the way that we're bringing kind of this,
the way we are tokenizing these real-world assets,
because, you know, there's been a few iterations already of tokenized art.
For us, we're really focused on making it like an ownership collectible experience.
And for us, Ape Chain is a chain that has a very strong sense of culture and that also really kind of appreciates the art, has built very strong communities around NFTs.
So for us, that's a critical component of the overall experience that we built, which is why we decided that it was a great chain to launch with.
And also, you know, we've been working with that it was a great chain to to launch with and also um you
know we've been working chain team for a while we've been in conversations for months um actually
and i'm super supportive of lots and lots of advice so that that's you know an amazing team
as well to work with so if i might ask you, so what does it exactly mean to bring such an art,
I mean art piece into blockchain? Because one can imagine so many different ways. So how,
what's your approach? Yeah, so our approach has been to make, so there's two things, right? It's one, the core theme is accessibility. And we've kind of
tackled that in two different ways. One way is through pricing. So our prices are pretty accessible.
We try to range between the $5, $20 kind of range per fraction. And then the next part is the way we kind of communicate.
I'll try to pin to the space our kind of post that we have about action. You can also check
it out on our X profile as a pinned post. But we try to develop like a very strong story narrative that talks to you about what the work is, who the artist is, but also all of the different rewards and perks and things you can unlock by owning this fraction in a very accessible, non-snobby way. You know, it's like not highbrow.
It's meant to be very sort of, I mean, I keep saying accessible,
but it is, that is the main goal.

So just for the simple ones over here, how should I imagine this?
So there is a real copy of Jeff Koons or copy,
a real original of Jeff Koons art. You then fractionize it and we can kind of co-own it.
Is that the case? Oh, yeah. You mean like how it works? So yes, we actually work a network of verified embedded sellers.
So LiveArt, by the way, the reason why we're able to do that is because we have an art
trading floor as, you know, kind of the more consumer side of our platform that works with
the traditional art market.
We work with a lot of buyers and sellers there.
So we have strong connections
with sellers. We have a team that specifically focuses on sourcing and verifying these pieces.
That piece is acquired through those sellers and it becomes a community-owned piece through
this fractionalization. So the real asset, the physical asset, it's stored in fine arts to make sure it's secure.
Nothing happens to it.
It's insured.
Then we fractionalize it and you will co-own this asset together.
It looks really cool.

You go to asset offerings and you can find it there and you can basically buy one uh one for for 15.13 ape that's probably the cheapest one
that you can do which is great and there's also mention of uh is that arch token token? So if I buy, let's say for, I don't know, 500 ApeCoin, what does it mean,
what I'm getting and what is the ARCH token and the multipliers that you have on the side?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we have different prices depending on the volume of fractions that you buy.
The more fractions you buy, you get a bigger discount on the per fraction.
And you also get, so as a base per fraction, you get, I believe, 25 ART tokens.
And then once, so once let's say you acquired 10 fractions, for example, you get your
token amount, and then each fraction will land on different sections of that grid I'm not sure if you able to see that you slide over kind of this grid
map that we have you'll be able to notice that there are different kind of
our token bonus zones so you could land like for example a 300 token bonus zone
if you land on that area so So that gives you a boost.
And you'll also have a multiplier.
So depending on the kind of pack of fractions you get,
you get a different token multiplier as well.
OK, and maybe one more question.
So I buy the fraction.
And regarding it's in your vault,
I mean, the original piece.
And so what exactly is happening with it
or how do I know that it's going to stay there
or what's the process, what's the plan with it?
Is it going to be shown all over the world somewhere
in art galleries and you get a fraction of some kind of fees from that?
Or is there anything else we should know?
Yeah.
So I'll say like in terms of what happens, right?
Like you, everyone, it's a community owned asset.
We've had a successful exit with our first RWA, which was a Superman print by Andy Warhol. And that one was actually
sold within three months. And as a co-owner of that piece, what happened was the interface
changes. So from a buy page, it turns into a claiming page. So you're able to go there, burn the fractions that you had, and in exchange
for USDC worth of your fractions, or ART, you can get it back in ART token, or you could get it back
as a hybrid, so 50-50. So that is kind of what happens in that scenario. In terms of like if the piece is exhibited and all of those kinds of things, we haven't done that yet.
We haven't actually taken one of the pieces to show, but we could.
And we kind of want to implement a governance layer there to kind of work with the community, see what everyone who owns this asset would like to do with it.
But yeah, technically it can be shown around.
I mean, they're held in different facilities.
The one, the Jeff Koons Balloon Dog specifically is located in Switzerland.
So like if anybody is there, I mean, we could definitely arrange for people to see it.

Yeah, it works really smooth.
What about the wallets?
Actually, we saw that Yuga actually announced a partnership with Glip.
So it's super simple interface to actually buy crypto and interact with
with other services do you also think of implementing that and do people have to
buy with crypto or they can use like card and you swap it into cryptocurrency
currently they have to buy in with Ape it is only available to purchase with
Ape but we are definitely looking to implement credit cards really, really soon.
And, you know, multi-currency payments so that people can purchase with different cryptocurrencies.
It's just we haven't yet implemented that.
But it's one of our top priorities.
Where are you guys based, actually?
Well, the team is pretty global.
I'm, for instance, based in the US, in Brooklyn.
But most of our team members are based in Europe.

In terms of next steps, I think the next steps is like, what do you actually do with these fractions, right?
Like, what is the plan for it?
And LiveArt as a company is taking a strong direction into the DeFi space.
So we do want to start developing different solutions for, you know, borrowing, lending, different ways to create yield, trading these fractions and all of that funds. So that
it is something that we are excited to do. And alongside of that, kind of take over new
verticals of assets. So, you know, we've done art. Now the next thing we want to do is cars
and watches. We still don't know which one we will do first, to do is cars and watches and we still don't know
which one we will do first whether it is cars or watches but it's one of those
two and so that will be kind of the next step for us and we're super excited
about it we've hosted Tino you remember right we've hosted and I forgot the name
of the project that they did actually it It was like a pawn shop on blockchain, right?

So you didn't have to ship and they had it in their vault.
And there was a proof of authenticity.

Maybe one question from my side, which we are very curious about always, because we always talk about onboarding new people and art is one of the most obvious places.
So you guys are very active also in this more traditional art world. What has been the reactions from the artists, from the collectors, from the galleries, from the art world in general?
Because there was a boom during the bull market
and obviously it faded out.
So my question is, where are we now
and what's the reaction of the traditional art space
towards this kind of activities?
I think the traditional art world,
I would say they're still,
I feel like the traditional art world, I would say they're still, I feel like the traditional art world is still sort of like working within the ways that they've done for like hundreds of years. I think it's going to take a lot of work and changes to actually shift.
I think it's going to take a lot of new collectors to shift that mentality, to be honest,
which is why I think products that fractionalize these very expensive assets or products that are
able to make those assets, those markets more accessible is probably what will shift the way
that they see different technologies entering that industry. Because, you know, that's the way, you know, it's a big market.
There's like a $65 billion a year market in art that is actually traded.
But in terms of art that exists in the world, it's trillions of dollars.
But it's all art that is sitting in warehouses and storage units
and that never moves or trades because it's so complicated and it's so to actually move around.
So I do think, you know, that it will happen, but it will only happen with new collectors and broader access to kind of shake up this the the market that controls this asset
class yeah that makes 100 sense in 2021 i think i was invited into one art gallery in in italy
actually and uh they talk or they wanted to learn more about
NFTs. They had some exhibition there, but
you saw that their approach was more
like, hey, we want to have
Web3 artists and we want to charge
percentage from the sales that
we do through our art gallery, which
is probably the traditional way how to do that, right?
Exactly. But the
percentage, it wasn't like that
we have royalties a few percent here, but I think it was't like that you know we have royalties
few percent here but I think it was like
25 or maybe even more
maybe even like 30-40%
that they charge for that
so the approach was really different
and it was extremely difficult
to explain NFTs to them
so I can
it's super, it's like one of the most difficult things

Yes, definitely. I mean, I think for us,
we just love to get kind of your feedback
or any kind of suggestions or things that you want to see
that you think could be better. I think it's one of
the most helpful things. Talking to people in the space, I would say that is the biggest
sort of help, of course, aside from collecting our fractions. Just we want to hear from you.
We want to know what the thoughts are, what the reactions are, because that's what's going to help our product grow.
really nice there's also that airdrop so is there any plan for like airdrop for
holders or you get it you get it our token while you buying the the fractions
or how that's gonna work yes so you get them through the fraction so when you
are you know when you're buying your fraction, you get an allocation of these tokens and ways to multiply those earnings.
And then the token is not live yet, but it will be very soon.
We just can't disclose precise dates, but it's coming.

maybe you built a digital art gallery or something like that? Yes, we would love to, for sure.

out there who are more interested in that but basically it's a jaguar and then the gorilla
cane from Congo Africa so in the background we are building a story about the tournament
of the king of the jungle right so the question is has always been who is the king of the jungle is it a lion
is it a the gorilla cane so we're catching this this theme to say and we're integrated to the
project with with stuff coming uh coming up next in the next few months so talking about ERL is the alpha, I really feel that physical products, collectibles,
RWA, I don't know how to spell that.

the game, right? that is is it pure
luck or i have a chance to actually do something you know because both ways i'm going to win but
i just wanted to know which one it's gonna be for me i heard that you're one of the luckiest guys
on ape chain so like i can totally understand where you're coming from with that type of confidence
you know speaking with your chest and all that kind of stuff. But there is a way to influence the outcome in multiple ways. So it is not just like, you know, it's not a coin flip,
anything like that. It's not rock, paper, scissors, neither. So let me let me give you the alpha
here on kind of how it works. So a lot of people are like, well, what is this? So it is a dApp
that operates on the Ape Chain blockchain, right? So everything happens on chain, you sign into a website, and you will see your mintators, you'll see the selection of which ones you have. And that right there is a decision.
certain um you know characters that have strengths and then if you put the right one against it it
will hit it right where it's weakness so i don't know like fire maybe the water one is a good
defense to that one right so think about it like that where no one character is invincible it has
um very strong points and very weak points so uh you know one that has gold armor is probably
going to have a lot of of defense right? So that's where some of
the strategy comes in. And then here, let me maybe, you know, give this a little bit of a breakdown.
This is coming from James Hall, the designer himself, and maybe it'll give a little bit of
insight. So it says the grand games of the Coliseum are nigh. Here's a quick dive into how
your minotaur traits, strategic choices, and a dash of luck fuel the epic on-chain battles in the Coliseum.
Your Minotaur NFT is your champion and enters the arena with base attributes for its collection.
Attack, defense, magic attack, magic defense, dexterity, luck, intelligence, speed, and vitality. But the real game changer are visual traits.
Body, beard, mouth, they grant unique stat booster effects. A fire body might give something like a
plus 10 attack, plus magic attack, but minus three in defense. A gold armor might add plus 15 defense, plus 7 luck, but reduce speed.
On top of this, you don't just send your Minotaur in blindly.
You make fighting choices.
These are strategic stances that temporarily adjust your fighter stats for that specific battle.
This is where your tactical genius shines.
Just a few examples.
Aggressive stance.
Might give plus 12 attack,
but minus six defense. Defense position could offer plus 12 defense, but at the cost of six attack. Magic focus may boost magic attack by plus 10 while slightly lowering physical attack.
Once your minotaur is selected, boosters are applied based on its traits and your fighter
your fighting stance is chosen and you can challenge an opponent either specifically by
a wallet address or challenge anybody the battle itself is a complex on-chain calculation secure
randomness is fetched from the python network to ensure fair play your fighters effective
attributes base plus boosters plus stance adjustments,
are pitted against the opponents.
A battle score is determined considering all the stats,
the random element, and even critical hit chances
influenced by dexterity, intelligence, and luck.
It's a dynamic formula ensuring varied outcomes.
After the dust settles, win or lose,
your champion needs to rest.
There's a battle cooldown for all fighters and a longer recovery period if your Mintator is defeated.
Understanding these mechanics is key to conquering the Coliseum. Good luck in the Grand Games tournament and may the best Mintator win.

Submit.
You sign on the Ape Chain blockchain.
He chooses his strategy because you don't know what they're going to input.
And then they fight.
There's more to it.
But if you beat the person, not only is that registered on chain, the wallet address, who beat who forever on the Ape Chain blockchain.
Obviously, also taking a record of how many times people start fighting each other,
what are the leaderboards, that kind of stuff.
But also, you punish your competitor because their PFP is updated on chain.
So you snap off their horns and they are bleeding.
And the PFP is updated in Magic Eden that they got defeated and they're in cooldown.
So that means they can't keep fighting.
The reason why that sucks is because we're going to give the biggest prizes in the first
24 hours.
So it's going to be a race to how many people, how many people can you beat in 24 hours in
the leaderboard to get, let's say thousands of ape NFTs.
I don't want to get into all of it, big prizes for i'm talking about the community i'm not
talking about the the celebrities like grateful ape you know what i mean so there's going to be
prizes for everybody on every turn just depends on uh you know your skill and and being smart when

attention to what you're supposed to click on, etc. And so, yeah, this is all going to happen
