well. And now I got my PFP up and I'm loving the best community in Web3. So I got to say,
the support from the Ape community is freaking amazing. I mean, I only changed my PFP a week ago,
and the support, the help I'm getting is awesome.
So we're building a Tekken Street Fighter PVP fighting experience,
so done in Unreal Engine.
We have a great team experiencing 3D gaming, blockchain,
and we've actually been cooking on this for about three years, right?
So we're doing streaming like other side and this
allows us to deliver triple a quality in the browser right so we're doing no apps no downloads
to make sure anyone anywhere in the world can play the game and we call it social combat so
meaning mainly you can fight as your pfp right so the video we did but we rushed it today the lighting kind of sucks
but the main idea is that you know you can come in as your pfp and fight as your pfp so apes versus
mutants the gameplay is cool we're cooking daily now with gamers to make sure that the game gets
better and the cool thing about browser games is that um you can actually update it daily when you
do apps it's really hard to
update your game usually you have to wait until the end of the cycle and then release your app
when everything is done and hope it works with the browser we can tweak we can tune we can change we
can modify on the fly it's like a website almost right so we can push out updates if we need to
add characters or we need to change something um it just, you know, organically will grow as we go along.
So we finally got ODK access from Yuga thanks to Cam.

He's a real champion for leading a community because a lot of these dudes, they're, to be honest, a lot of them are very stuck up.
You know, they won't take your call. they don't have time to speak to you um and i think he's he's he's a great leader

apes and mutants will be able to throw down the work we're doing with yugo means that not just
apes and mutants but eventually we can support all other side avatars.
The game is going to feature live streaming. We have a leaderboard. We're looking for a partner to do betting.
I mean, we're talking to a casino, but I'd love to talk to Coco because their betting platform looks super cool.
We have an on-chain store in the game where you can buy like weapons, fight moves.
the Unchained store in the game where you can buy like weapons fight moves um it's going to be one
player versus AI two player we have network play quest story mode a whole bunch of stuff we've
been cooking but also battle invites on X right so you'll be able to send an invite to someone
and you know when they turn up jump into the arena and start fighting right so the other cool thing
that we're doing is we're looking to build an arena and
other side for tournaments so we can then funnel you know all the players of the game into other
side for grand tournaments and you know you know we're looking for support um we're working with
Akina um so Brian V on on the on building the arena.
So the other cool thing is our tech, right?
So we have pixel streaming like other side,
but we also have a very new tech called WebGPU,
which this lets us run the game in the browser
as opposed to streaming.
So streaming is super expensive, right?
you got to rent servers with gpus um very costly um mad shoto to to to um a chain on other side for
You got to rent servers with GPUs, very costly.
underwriting that cost to get all you guys i'm not sure if you guys really know the cost um and the
dedication that they're putting in there right um just check out aws gpu servers they're super
expensive you know so how much do you think it costs to run the other side, actually, man? Like, can you, like, guess?
Is it a lot?
I couldn't really say, but, I mean, just for us, for our game, I mean, we were looking
at, for a small handful of players, you know, about $1,000 a day.

But you know what's crazy, bro?
Like, you have to pay for the streaming, right, to run it, and Tino missed last episode,
and he was actually making money with the streaming so
uh there it's like it's like the the stranger things right upside down
one one has to pay the other gets the money so love it but man that's crazy 1000 a day is is insane
that's for a small project to be honest so a big project i i wouldn't begin to understand
i'm sure they have a good deal but i mean go to amazon and look look what it costs to rent um
you know x2 or whatever ec2 instance with a gpu and with ai no those guys are eating them up so
you know so we need to maximum support yuga labs right so? So that they can, you know, underwrite all those costs, right?
So, but the web GPU tech we're using, it pushes the game into the browser. I mean, you need to
have gaming hardware, but what it means is that we can also give communities their own arenas,
because with web GPU, there's no cost, right? So any community working to get their avatars in
ApeChain, they already have the avatars.
We can give them an arena like the Ape one that we built.
Their IP will be able to fight in it,
and we're working on Discord integration.
So something real cool and real fun to do in your Discord, right,
with your members.
Host your own little arena with your own fighting games.
So we did launch battle cards. They're minting on open sea uh we
launched them like five days ago i think it was the bottom of the bottom bitcoin was probably like 85
grand so it was the worst time was also in the middle of thanksgiving but um we're already in
the top 25 in the gaming ranks on um on open sea and rising we want to try to get up there into the top 15
right because we have a big gamer activation i mean our business model is to really make something
fun and cool for web 3 but then take it to web 2 right because web 2 is where the big money is
um and web 2 gamers they don't really care about nfts and and fight to win but they will buy tons
of shit in our store so our model is really everything that's bought in the store we can
funnel it back to web 3 for you know for rewards for fight to play fight to win so we have a real
game on a real business model you know it's not like we're just going to manifest value for people
um as long as we scale and grow we can drive that value back and everybody's kind
of happy, you know? So, yeah, I think that's kind of the gist of it. Please mint our battle cards.
They're like 50, 60 bucks. They're on ETH to make them, you know, as available cross-chain as
possible. And we do have a, our platform does have a in-game token but we built a stable coin um so
it's actually pretty cool it's one coin instead of one to the dollar it's one to five cents and
then we have liquidity pools so we have it we've had an ape chain liquidity pool on it for quests
on our site for maybe three four months it keeps getting drained so people love it it's like a
faucet you know but this allows us to support, you know, any community who wants an arena because they just add their own token if they have one to the liquidity pool.
And then, yeah, we just want to build and grow and drive massive tournaments in other side. They'll be super fun.
I think those tournaments are also going to be really cool for Bubbles since, you know, the fighting style is horizontal, right?
So, you know, we're asking Yuga, can you give us a big TV screen in a bubble?
Because then if a fight's going on, it can just be streamed to the TV stream.
You can kick back, watch, bet, see who's going to be the winner.
You know, I think that will be super cool for Bubbles as well.

we're running the basketball space with Squiddy

X fights means like you can send an invitation to Ryder if you want to fight him, for instance,
you know, and then you guys throw it down and it's streamed and people can bet on it. That's the
experience. You know, we're really building horizontal pvp um not morpg right
so it's kind of easy to play it's fun to play anybody can actually play you know teke and
street fighter that's why they were so popular because you know my wife she can play and she's
not a gamer she just bangs the keyboard hard enough long enough gets in enough hits and if
she's lucky she can win you know so the or
battle cards are also pretty cool because they have in-game powers so we got rarity in them
they're actually based on japanese fighting koi um but each one um comes with different powers
that you can then use in game and stack them so you know if you're a shitty player and you have
like you know um luck and invisibility, you're going to beat that other motherfucker
no matter how good they are, right?
Because luck is like a superpower.
Everything you do is just going to be perfect, you know?

so you know the other one side is the is the battle k battle coin the other side is a shield and those are the in-game
powers right so you can stack three of the powers like i was saying um so just give you that advantage
we kind of learned that from any chess any chess does this to really make chess fun right because
chess is a hard game to make fun unless you're a chess player and so for instance they have spells
so you can make your piece invisible um you know you can turn a rook into um a knight for instance, they have spells. So you can make your piece invisible. You know, you can turn a rook into a knight, for instance.
So we kind of, you know, said this is super cool because it means that, you know, we can make the game fun for anyone, right?
You could think you're a badass gamer and you play, you know, somebody who's not and they break out that superpower and they kick your ass.
And I think that will make betting fun as well, because it will kind of change the odds.
It also makes sure that AIs can't really play
because AIs can't predict these kinds of things, right?
They can't predict what the powers will do.
So yeah, we got tons of value, real business model.

uh we got to deal with warp gaming so they're they're helping us to publish the game they have

them up also with the with the people at other side to get all those gamers into other side as
well you know you get a million gamers swarming other side and
i think it's really gonna rip right and you know our bags are going to so go up you know provided we get those guys in so trying to give back as much as we can and make sure that we create
something that's super fun i mean it's it's not easy to build a game like three years of building the game engine it's been it's been a journey
you know so yeah i can imagine man uh when can we actually play the game when when do you launch the
so we're we're doing two things we're doing a technology um preview that we're hoping to launch
end of january but um but you know we can't rush it we're hoping to launch at the end of january but
we don't want to launch something that's not going to be super cool and then we're looking to roll
out season one so the cool thing about the game will be seasonal season one goes with our lore
um you fight across i think uh seven arenas um and then at the end is like a big showdown right
um and then in about six months we'll launch season
two where it's instead of fighting to to win powers and evolve which is the kind of the lore
of the first one it's then called co-evasion and it's all the characters turn evil and you battle
against evil so you know learning from fortnite their their seasonal gameplay is awesome gamers
in web 2 love it because anytime you get boring,
you kind of just change the whole map, you know?
So I guess similar also to other side, they just roll out the Nexus, right?
They change the map and everybody's excited all over again.
It's a great strategy that you can roll out and it's easy for browser games to do.
