All right, enough of the awkward silence.
Welcome, good morning, and thank you to another ApeCoin AIP roundup.
We're seeing ApeCoin taking over the timeline, and if you're not, I don't know whose timeline
you're on, but my timeline is loaded with just Apes and F1 suits, ApeCoin, Garga's out
I mean, ApeCoin just objectively kind of going nuts, kind of going a little bit nuts this
You absolutely love to see it.
We've got a little bit of music here.
We're going to get the stage set up.
We got this week's AIP authors coming up to vote.
You guys got a couple weeks here to get your votes in until next Wednesday if you guys have
We're also right in the middle of the ApeCoin DAO election applications series process.
We'll talk more about that, get a little bit of music going here to get the stage set
Thanks for being here with us.
We'll let you guys enjoy the classic, the old ApeCoin DAO theme song.
If you guys haven't had a chance to hear it yet, here you go.
I've been bottled with my ApeCoin, grew it dancing like monkeys.
Nothing we won't do, crypto game song.
We're taking it to the moon, funky fresh beast.
Got the crowd in the storm.
ApeCoin DAO, we never take a loss.
Stacking the bananas, blockchain coins.
No need for bananas, we're riding the way.
Making moves like a boss.
ApeCoin DAO, we never take a loss.
Dropping beats at the DJ, making moves on the charts.
ApeCoin revolution, we're taking it apart.
Crypto kings and queens, we're rising to the top.
With our funky vibe, there ain't no way to stop.
This song is nice, it's definitely not a cloud.
I'm not going to let this songcaๅฉ,
I'm going to let this song...
i'm not gonna lie that song oh that song it feels it feels kind of short it it it honestly
it feels a little bit short i don't i don't know let me uh let me make sure we get uh
adventurous ape her co-host spot up here with us and just before we get into it before i do forget
we are just an informal group of highly motivated and active members of the ape coin daft community
not here to represent on behalf of the ape coin foundation can't answer questions on their behalf
not here to advocate for any of the proposals that are up for both this week but happy to share
the information with you guys here in the community please do make sure you like and retweet
share the room let people know we're up here talking about this week's authors we are expecting
a few more of them and i see we've got danny as well in the audience dan we sent you a few invites
if for whatever reason twitter's not letting you see those invites just uh send us a request to get
us uh get you up here with us and we'll do that and just before we get into to all these proposals
just a quick glance at the dow quick look at everything that's going on and like i said at
the beginning i mean if you guys haven't already make sure you guys are checking out that f1 activation
they got a long schedule spanning over the next couple of years a lot of activations around that and
it seems like maybe an interesting opportunity to go out and and hang out with some apes maybe run
into maybe run into some familiar faces at some of those races i don't know if you go let me know
though maybe i'll maybe i'll be able to come out maybe i'll find some of you guys out there anyway we
got uh four proposals that were approved last week we have puffles the nft launch pad we had the
governance working group budget ac back with another proposal for elections this week shout out to you and
the team over there shout out to us four one one this was journey gallery you love the number you
got to say the proposal number we're also juiced in the the board ape community right about the the
made by ace but in the ape coin dow right you got these numbers i don't know there's something there
you got that four one one journey gallery out in vegas got an ape point dow series set of activations
coming if you guys are out there make sure you guys check them out if you're not following them they
are one of the larger delegations in ape coin dow as well so do keep up with them as well
last week we had an update a change a refinement to the whole elections process and so this year as
we are looking at five ongoing elections we've got the special counsel and four of the different
working groups the change that was made with the proposal approved last week was that any applicants
that are looking to run for these positions should just choose one rather than trying to apply for all
five so really focusing the dow's resources and focusing everybody's attention on where they might
best contribute there there's 48 proposals that are pending proposal or that are proposing uh that
are pending implementation plenty of words these are proposals that have already been approved almost
50 people from the community that have been funded with uh with ongoing activations coming for the
community things we can get involved in things you might be able to access so plenty of more things
on the way there were four new ideas just this week i know coco's been up on these stages a bunch
with us he's been dropping hints he's been telling us he's got stuff he dropped his last night he finally
dropped his proposal if you guys have been following along with the conversations make sure you guys
are hitting up these ideas now now's the time to have that discussion with the authors there's 16 total
ideas waiting on the forum 17 others in the draft stage heading up to vote that's almost 40 total and
this week ready six more proposals up for vote this week we've got the authors here we're going to get
into these introductions again if you guys know you're supposed to be up here please do just send
us the request and we'll get you up here i've got summaries for all these proposals so in the absence of
any authors although we were expect we're expecting five of the six to be here with us i got i have plenty
of summaries we're ready to go but we've got all city up here on stage with us danny again i don't
know if there's an issue with uh with the request or the invites but happy to have you up here with
us as well to request your or to just to discuss your proposal you got aip 4 110 up here but just
after that all city you are just numerically next in line i see we got danny up here with us now danny
with uh with the interesting new proposal here for the for the point out aip 410 is eight point
doubt going to hollywood we've got danny up here on stage with us now the proposal suggesting to
introduce five new podcasts for the eight point dow both in english and spanish and spanning across
across various genres we have kids true crime horror fiction and a fifth standalone series of podcasts
directed at the eight point dow focusing broadly on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology as well as
local events in the eight point dow and community engagement there each podcast um would be
covered both in english and in spanish over 20 episodes and you can find their their deck there
directly in the proposal we've got the author here with us danny please if you don't mind please do
introduce yourself to to the community to the crowd out here and yeah let us know what's your what's
your suggestion here what you got working on yes uh thank you for the opportunity again um this is great
um uh my name is danny salia i'm i'm based in mexico city i'm french uh mexican and um i've been like
an early adopter of every technology i mean i'm a twitter uh user since 2007 and also um we've been
podcasting i i founded um this company called dixo in mexico in 2005 uh before podcast was even uh uh you
know a household name and uh we've been podcasting for 19 years and uh not dropping one year i mean
every year we've been putting up a lot of podcasts we have a really good relationship with apple
because apple started this whole deal with podcasts with uh back then uh when steve jobs was uh still alive
with itunes and um and we've been in this business for for for 19 years and then i also um in 2007
uh 2008 i'm sorry i film i made a film feature film in spain um that that won some awards were many
awards i would say in in uh in spain and in mexico it got distributed in mexico and spain only because
it was like the only two countries uh uh that um uh because the the film was in spanish and um
um and spanish from spain so um and then i started to realize that it was much more more easy to do you
know storytelling because that's my my the thing that i love the most um storytelling with podcasting
and podcasting allowed me to do this with a fraction of a of a of a budget for a feature film
so um and also another thing that i've been uh really adamant about is is decentralization
um because uh i got some bad experience with uh with ips with intellectual properties when you create
something for current content creators the platforms become the uh become the uh owners of the
uh intellectual property and with the ape con dao when i saw the ape con dao i saw the opportunity
to be able to combine my two passions decentralized organizations and um and our my core business
our core business which is the content creation and um and and also a big opportunity to promote uh
web3 into the mainstream and obviously it's already it's already done in english but spanish um for
for for as a very uh interesting stat i mean spanish is the second most uh spoken language in the world
native uh spoken language in the world uh after mandarin but mandarin is only spoken in china
and spanish is is spoken in many countries uh from europe to right in america and we want to introduce
uh introduce uh introduce uh web3 and all its um great uh uh you know the big universe that web3 can
introduce to people you know uh to the latam community uh uh and and and spanish community also
and also we saw the opportunity to create revenue to uh the dao uh through the ips i mean we don't want to
hog the ips on the country you want to share it and we want to share it this decentralizing uh the ips and
giving a piece of the ip to every member of of of the of the dao so i have a up here also i think my my
um i teamed up with a with um with a team from from honduras uh rodil and gustavo i don't see i don't
i don't know if they're here hello hey can you hear me yeah hey so this is it's going all all the
community down welcome welcome what's up is it um so is this is this gustavo that's here with us
yes that's uh that's me lgf luiz gustavo yeah welcome have you guys uh so how long have you
guys been working together so yeah it's a pretty cool story to share um so uh so nice to meet you
all my name is gustavo i'm i'm from san pedro sulla honduras uh my background as it's kind of like
danny's as well uh we started a with rodil we started a a company some 14 years ago it's in the sms
business nowadays we are very successful in that area we are very much leaders in the central
american region that's like a very small uh specific area in the world that's it's uh six
countries uh united in the middle of the american continent right so uh i'm i'm based in the middle
country which is honduras and um yeah um last october uh my wife was uh watching shark tech mexico
and we saw this uh this cool guy uh exposing about podcasts and we started a podcast company
uh around two years ago and yeah like every new thing we didn't know what we were doing you know
what the hell what what the hell did we describe for right and um we when we started listening to
danny uh and his ideas regarding the ips and uh and the podcast thing i said to myself i need to meet
that guy so i just start you know uh doing my connections and working around on getting to
know danny and once i realized his story and getting to know him uh a bit more and working together
we got immediately connected to the project that he proposed to us to which which was to present a
a a conjunction a unified proposal to to the ape con dao and start you know innovating in the web 3
space and we share that uh spirit with danny where we are uh very very uh influenced by innovation
uh entrepreneurship uh web 3 decentralization uh and uh we are eager to just you know learn and and
and move forward on this uh amazing proposal that we want to deliver for you guys
yeah i love it i appreciate you guys being up here and i've seen you guys had a chance to go over
to the bulls on the blockchain stages even on the weekend so i appreciate you guys coming you know
to all these community stages and letting everybody get a chance to just sort of meet you guys i wanted
to circle back on a couple things that you guys were talking about you said returning some of the
revenue to the dow you guys were talking about uh the decentralized ip you guys couldn't have joined
i think a better set of proposal authors i mean if we're going to talk about decentralization and
ownership of ip i mean you got jason up here he suggested he's got the clip starter here for the
community driving ip for you got all city i mean i mean maybe just objectively sort of an ip maxi you
know he's building the magazine out he's building out several different things with the with the
working group and the apu you can see his uh his banner is building ip left and right i mean yeah i
mean the whole the whole cast cast and crew up here i think really sort of focused on on exactly what
you were talking about and as far as the the revenue back to the dow it said you said 50 percent of
revenue back to the dow but it also mentions tokenizing of the ip that you're creating in
the podcasts themselves so did you maybe want to just uh explain a little bit about what you guys
were thinking in terms of tokenizing the ip that you're creating and how that might look for for the
series of podcasts and the dow's ownership of these things yeah i let rodin explain this so that he
also can introduce himself to to the uh to the to the to the community yes thank you danny hello
eight coin dow so our plan with the with this ips we're creating five ips right so we're going to
represent these five ips in tokens and these tokens will be distributed to every eight coin holder so
every eight coin holder we have will have tokens that will match their their their amount of tokens
that they have of the eight coin dow and our plan on distributing the revenue is at first we will pay
the treasury the eight coin dow treasury the whole the whole the the the whole revenue until the
investment is returned to them and then it will become a 50 50 split for a 50 50 50 50 for us that
the creators of the content and 50 for the for the token holders so that's what we're planning to do
yeah the the idea i'm sorry the idea is that um uh the treasury is taking the risk uh with uh if um
if we voted uh if if this pass if if it becomes an approved aip and we want them to be able to recover
first uh from the rev that the revenue that we can generate with the ips they recover and once they
recover their uh the the funds then we distribute the 50 50 uh with uh with the dow by tokenizing 50
to the april holders in the world and uh they can claim it claim their token and uh and it will be
distributed uh uh proportionate to that yeah i love it and i love talking to you guys right i mean
you got you're talking about the some of the awards you guys have won and having done this you know for
for several years here and working together for a while i mean it's it's always amazing to me that
we get so many just capable people that come to the eight coin dow and i know sometimes we talk about
a barrier to entry but the barrier is pretty low right you just need the one eight coin and sort of
to be able to to put a proposal up and go through the process and yeah you need to get the votes
to to ultimately be approved but as far as getting into the process and getting up into that point
where where the community can make a decision the barrier of entry i mean it is it is relatively low
and so i do appreciate you guys coming and and sharing this sharing this with us and sometimes
i mean i'm looking at some of the conversations on the community i think sometimes it's difficult for
those of us who maybe who don't have that same experience or who haven't necessarily built up some
of these different companies to to look at some of these proposals really for what they are and for for
all the experience um and the time that's that's gone into to even making it possible for for a
group or for somebody to present something like this and just looking at your timeline real quick
i see you guys have a a 12 month timeline here so i mean we're we're basically you know getting a
getting a year worth of worth of production and and for you guys to be really sort of focused
and driving the doubt forward through through your work and i i see you guys mentioned and just
looping back to to the beginning you guys mentioned uh kids and true crime and horror and fiction
and all of these different sort of genres for the podcast we talked about the the the financials and
the tokenomics so let's talk about the fun stuff i mean what what are we thinking about for the for
these different genres what what are these podcasts actually what do these look like i mean what are we
listening to here so um the the timeline is 12 months for but for the standalone podcast which um
rodil and gustavo uh will be will be developing but for the for the uh fiction kids uh horror and um
and true crime it's actually six months uh we can have them read in six months and for the for the kids
um um it's a story about a rat it's called king rat actually and it's the laziest rat in the world
the laziest and uh he's based in in midwestern midwestern america and um all of a sudden his
mother tell him that he is the or he is the soul uh um uh you know the um heredero how you say heredero
uh the um here here yeah yeah he's the air of the helvetio kingdom that has 10 000 uh cheeses
and uh because he's a lazy rat he doesn't you know and and he doesn't want to be bothered getting
uh uh trying to get uh um um food you know and when he finds out that he's the hered that and he has
10 000 cheeses at his disposal because he loves cheese then he will start his journey to the helvetio
kingdom and it's really interesting because in all them all of a sudden he meets he meets a cat for
instance called fidelio and um and uh the cat is a communist cuban communist cat so he explains to to
ralph yeah this is this is amazing because uh the you know the the the cat comes from cuba and uh he
comes from cuba with all his the communist ideas and and he tries to convince uh ralph you know that
he has to distribute everything to everybody you know the the the uh the cheeses to everybody so
but but but he's still you know he's still in the states so he has to get all the way to switzerland
and all of a sudden um um uh so he meets this cat who is a communist cat and then he meets uh a royal
you know the eagle the royal eagle in spanish it's called aguila real i i think it's the how you call
the the um the bald eagle yeah but it's like aguila real it's more like uh what what's the um america's
ego is the bald eagle yeah so the bald eagle is like this royal uh eagle also who explains to him
what it is to be a monarch to be a king so he gets all these ideas in his head he doesn't know what to
do anymore with the you know the monarchy the communism and everything and and but he is always
you know on the run and and it's a very very funny very funny funny story uh we already laid out the
first uh the first uh season and still he hasn't gotten to the port that will take him to europe so
i think this could be like an ongoing ip that can go for like four to five or six uh uh different
seasons the true crime is also a very interesting story about a guy who spent a mexican man who spent
20 years on death row uh we did his podcast in spanish and uh he spent from 1984 to 2004 uh and he
was wrongly convicted for something that he didn't do but he never got or either pardon or he never got
exonerated they just said okay man you just uh we're gonna commute your sentence to uh time served uh 20
years in death row and he's out uh since 2004 and he's been you know like trying to get exonerated
because he got deported to mexico right after they they uh they took him out of of jail even though he
was a legal uh resident of illinois and he got deported and he's not able to go back to to to the states
uh not even being able to see his his parents his father died during the covid covid and it's it's
it's a it's heartbreaking a heartbreaking story and we want to do something you know to exonerate uh so
that uh the the cook county uh in illinois exonerates him and actually i was reading this story uh last
week about this man uh who was wrongly convicted also in florida uh that who got uh paroled after 37
years in prison uh for a crime he could not have committed and he just got paroled thanks to a
podcast called bone valley if you haven't listened listened to it it's amazing it's really amazing
storytelling the way the the journalist uh uh does his job and actually he goes and very deep into the
transcripts and and he does his own investigation of this case and how the the florida uh florida
prosecution really went after this man it's also heartbreaking and he just got paroled i think like
three or four days ago and uh maybe awaiting uh also exoneration full exoneration and um this is also
for this is for the true crime for horror we have this store with this idea to do uh to do it's called
friedorama in spanish espantorama which um we wanna uh we already contacted eight of the most uh um
um um famous directors of horror in in mexico latin america uh to do one episode and direct to write
one episode and direct one episode of a very horror horror and all those all these uh genres that i'm
mentioning are the most the most um um successful genres in podcast uh in the podcast uh uh comedy is
another one and for that for the comedy one we have another story but we we we are um like uh thinking
about doing that one it's called mafia wars and actually it's about a filmmaking mafia you know
mafias that try to hog a production and then the real mafias you know the albanese and the russian
and italian mafia get involved and people get uh kill it like an absurd a big lebowski uh comedy um i'm a
very big fan of of that film i mean very big fan of that film and for the standalone i let uh royal and
and gustavo explain what it is because i think it's very important to really to have a weekly show
that will go for a year and the weekly show and only geared towards uh web3 thank you danny absolutely
yeah i can help you with that uh basically um the idea with the standalone podcast and also really you're
you're also welcome to speak as well no problem um as i was saying um we we want to we want to
to tackle both uh languages english and spanish since uh the second country that holds the most spanish
speaking uh country in the world is usa we believe that there's a a a an interesting alignment with
with the content that we want to create so basically uh the idea with the standalone podcast is a format
where we have two type of two type of episodes one it's an explainer where we define let's say a a
topic right and we we we script that explainer and we invite either a guest or someone from the ape
coin dow or someone web3 related to help us out with the explainer and also we will have a full chat show
episode meaning we have an extensive uh a more extensive uh conversation around the topic let's
say a 30 minute one hour or a bit a bit more than an hour conversation with an expert of a topic that
we decide to to tackle for example women in in blockchain that could be like a an interesting topic
where we can have uh women uh talking about uh blockchain in english and spanish right so um the the
basically the structure of the format is an explainer which is a short uh episode let's say
a five ten minute explainer of the topic and then we have a chat show episode where we have a more
extensive conversation with our guest and um both of them will be uh one of them is going to the dynamic
of of the languages let's say it's gonna it's gonna depend on the topic so let's for one topic we'll
have an explainer in english and we will have the the full episode in spanish and and that and then
another topic we will have an explainer in spanish and we'll have a full episode in english so that way
we can balance uh languages on this format and that is pretty much the structure and the idea that we
want to work around the standalone podcast yeah i love it and i i mean i love the the spread as you guys
were were kind of describing the the series right the the kind of the whole spread of of different
genres that you guys are looking at it's like i can imagine i'm just imagining different friends
of mine that are just like obsessed with the fucking true crime and then you guys you guys
are talking about the fucking communist right i'm like oh boy oh boy here we go and like whatever if
we get we let it get a little bit of uh of tension right sometimes you get a little bit more more
action on the timeline so whatever put it off into a podcast that that's perfect and put it put power
by eight point i mean these are the sort of things this is the sort of thing that gets us gets a name
out there gets us a little bit more familiar with people you start to see us in more places start
to get a little bit more comfortable i think with the brand and adventures they want to throw it
over to you and give you a chance i mean they they got you they said the midwest apes are the lazy
motherfuckers they said the midwest apes are they're sitting on stacks of cheese they don't want to move
or something like that i think that's what they said yeah it's you know i mean they're wrong about that
sorry go ahead no go ahead do you have any do you have any questions i want to i want to give you a
chance to ask if you have any questions for these guys and then after your questions uh just give them a chance to
to to say anything that we didn't get a chance to cover and then we'll we'll move on to one of the
next proposals we do got a whole um spread here proposals to get through today yeah i have you
basically asked similar questions to what i was going to ask the only thing i was curious about is like
how are you going to integrate a point into like these podcasts like how what is the benefit to that
like apecoin community through this well for the fiction for the fiction and you know the kids and true
crime and all that it will be obviously it will be branded with apecoin on the on the cover art and
it will have an audio id uh saying that it it's powered by apecoin and for the standalone it will be
i mean we will integrate uh for as as guests uh uh people like like you guys i mean you know uh you do to
really um uh make you know talk about apecoin and and only apecoin uh for for the general uh uh people
who will be listening to the standalone weekly podcast
all right thank you so much and thank you all for being thank you no thank you for the opportunity
thank you i appreciate you again appreciate you guys taking the taking the time to go through all
these different stages i know you guys were over there at the united grand halls early this morning
and again over on the weekend with the with the bulls of blockchain if you guys are listening in
definitely some other stages out there for you guys to tune into and lots of these discussions
happening i think we actually even i mean there's so many uh different conversations happening out
there i think we actually have another one going on right now with with dim so i mean if you guys are
popping around out there there's no competition right the information's all recorded it's out there but we do
want to give the authors a chance to to shine here and to be highlighted and we do um also just kind of
aim to accommodate folks to the best that we can we do have a lot of our authors overseas this particular
voting cycle and so we just just had a slight adjustment to a regular schedule for this week
nothing permanent but danny was there anything that you didn't get a chance to talk about anything
you wanted to cover before we look at going over to all city and the the new updates for the elections
well just one one thing is that um i just want to point out that um i i already i sold um a story
called the the 100 million uh to amazon audible it's a fiction story that i came up with because exactly
um i wanted to show what would happen if only 100 million people uh uh were lived in indoor in in the
planet earth you know so all of a sudden i disappeared 7.7 billion people and we are we only left with 100
million people because i want to show what how we can re rebuild the whole world with exactly
decentralization and it's a fiction story obviously and uh it got um we produced uh the first season for
amazon audible and uh we are waiting for green light for the second season um um and and this is it i
mean i i have absolutely no say about uh because they own the ip already and uh i really like to i want
to push this not not for the money but really to show how we can how we can rebuild the whole world if
we were 100 million people and just you know decentralize everything you know governments and
and and no frontiers between countries and and stuff like that and be really a global global community
that's it yeah i love it if you guys are listening in if you guys have any questions please feel free to
drop in the comment box we do run these stages just a little bit different than we do on the apecoms
channel just that we can give everybody a chance up here and kind of respect everybody's time but
we'll have time at the end if you guys want to jump up on the stage but in the meantime you can drop the
questions down in the box and make sure you guys are following all these authors they're more than
happy to to follow up with you guys and and make sure you guys are getting your questions answered and
thanks again danny and and your team here for for taking the time to join us and i'm sure the community
you guys will have plenty of time to to see them again across other stages as we are pretty early in the voting
cycle you guys have until again next wednesday so that'll be the 15th for you guys to get all your
votes in the 15th next wednesday 6 p.m pst all right all city it's about that time and certainly not the
most exciting proposal i mean objectively i think we can we can agree on that you've definitely got
some more exciting proposals that you put up and that i mean even just last week i mean even the
the damn budget was more exciting than this one but please all city and for those who don't know
please do just uh give us an introduction for yourself let us know uh who you are and what
are you what are you suggesting here with streamlining working group elections the improved second round
voting strategy thank you for such a warm introduction to my proposal last um just joking uh yeah no we look
we um i'm a lead governance stewards um with ape coin dow with the governance working group um we do a lot
of fun stuff we do a lot of governance stuff uh all those this proposal in particular
isn't speaking for for the governance group or working group as a whole this is governance related
um so something that i've wanted to see for a long time a lot of people in the community come out and
uh ask about it essentially how um how vote how voting works at ape coin dow during the elections is um
it is as long as there's over five nominees there's there's two rounds for working group stewards and um
um as you guys know we we do our voting on snapshot snapshot snapshot's just a platform that enables
you know it's you can vote with your wallet but with you wait with your ape coin and uh currently right
now we've uh in the the two rounds that we that we run um there's two different strategies uh the first
the first round is called weighted voting and this is where you can kind of distribute your votes however you see fit so
um you know for the pardon me for the upcoming governance working group elections we've got
two seats coming up including myself i'm up for re-election um you're going to be able to uh in
the first round of voting distribute again your votes however you see fit but in the second round
what ends up happening is you can only vote for one person this is great some people love that choice
it's this is just a it's completely just a choice um for me i prefer seeing a weighted option
um so that you know like you you get a little bit more say if if there's more than one seat being
filled right so if there's two seats being filled you can distribute those votes um a little bit more
true to say how you want to um how you want uh you know those votes to go otherwise you're just selecting
one person um so yeah pretty basic that's that's just kind of the concept um you know we do a lot of
lobbying at the governance group we just came out of a big budget that we're really really great
grateful for the community support behind a couple weeks before that uh we did nfc lisbon this one
here in particular i'm really just going to kind of let the chips fall where they may in terms of just
letting the community i'm not really going to be doing a ton of outreach i really just want the
community to kind of vote with how they want um to see um you know just however it kind of falls
um for me again personally it's definitely sort of the way that um that i that i think kind of makes the
most sense but again this is a it's a community choice and um it really is just just preference
so that's that's that's what it is in a nutshell um like lost was saying nothing too exciting but it
is important um and uh you know elections are coming up so definitely um happy to take any questions or
anything like that yeah i love it i mean pretty pretty simple update so i mean for anybody that
that just joined in the middle of of all cities introduction the the update here would just be for
the working group election so this wouldn't be a change initially for the special council which is
interesting and we don't have to whatever pontificate too much but it is sort of like an interesting like
a trial testing grounds like a trial grind throughout so we kind of have an opportunity to experiment a
bit and try different things out with these working group strategies the voting the the structure
cadences and then if if we really notice that something's working or that the community resonates
with uh with a certain strategy it's pretty simple to put up a follow-up proposal and implement it then
for special council guidelines or what have you so but like i said we don't have to pontificate too
much there but simply the the vote here would change that second round of voting during our elections we
do have the first round of voting where there may be whatever 50 applicants who have become nominees and
narrowing that first pool down to a pool of five candidates during that first wave of voting everyone
is allowed to sort of distribute their votes as they see fit and during the second round currently
unless this proposal is approved during the second round of voting for both special counsel or the
working groups you would have to choose one of those five final candidates as opposed to being able to
sort of distribute your voting power with this change for the working group elections you would be able
to just distribute that voting power across the candidates as you see fit pretty simple other
dows that that use the the similar structure i mean you said in the proposal arbitrary on bns optimism so
it's not like you're making anything up here just kind of carrying over similar strategies from other places and
even something we're already sort of using here in that first voting cycle adventure safe did you i mean
did you have any questions you were one of the wg zero stewards i know you have been paying attention
obviously to the dow for a long time is it anything that you you were curious about with this one
uh it's pretty straightforward um do you see any downside to this
um are you asking me yes uh any downside um no i don't really see any downside and and the reason why
i don't see downside is because if anybody chooses to continue voting the same way they can
um so quite simply if if if if this was to pass um somebody could still um put all of their their
voting weight onto one person right it's just providing a little bit more choice to voters
um and again really i i think that we don't necessarily get the truest um result if we're only
selecting one person when multiple seats are open right um because let's say for example okay like again
using the governance um example if there's two seats open um you know if if under our current
structure you can only pick one person in that second round which means you're not really picking
you're not you don't really have control over who who the best two people are for that job right
and so i think that that is an issue from my perspective in terms of downside i think that the only
i mean look i i don't see any downside because again you can continue if you choose if somebody
chose they could continue voting the same way um but i think that you know really it's just kind of
comes down to change and um and and i am definitely very very sensitive to um things like voting i mean like
nobody really wants to a lot of times people don't want to see change with with stuff like that so
i mean not a downside but certainly sensitive to everybody's choice in this and again just one of
those proposals that i'm putting up that i'm really just going to kind of put up because i think it
should go up and just kind of let let the community um choose how they may i'm not going
to do a bunch of lobbying i'm just going to it's there um and interested to see how the vote finishes up
all right thank you so much love it and thanks all city for for taking the time to to join us for
this today and looking forward to to seeing how these elections play out i know you're you're actually
going to be participating in this round of elections but we'll come back to that later we'll come back
we've got plenty of election stages coming and just just as it's relevant for this proposal if you guys
are listening in if you just jumped in if you guys have seen anywhere yet now is the time to send your
applications and if you're interested in running for the special council seats or any of these fresh
working group seats and there's four of those that are up now and you you can just um you can check all
the announcements there on the form you can go to apecoin.com click discussion up at the top find
the form there all the announcements for the elections are pinned and you can send your applications
directly to the dallas administration there in the forms that are attached finally now we'll move on
to another proposal also i mean i'll say to you and just as we do isn't it simple but was there
anything that that you didn't have a chance to to mention about the proposal before we do move on
no just um appreciate the stage i'm gonna hop off now i gotta prep for a call here in about 15 minutes
but um shout out jason and mr hype and everybody who's up here grains good luck with your proposal
danny uh it's a great time at the dow and uh catch up with everyone later thanks love it love it and
thanks for keeping it short and sweet we do have some some of these larger proposals up and some some
other fun things to talk about this week and jason it's you and we just go in numerical order just to
keep it simple just to keep it objective and appreciate everybody's time respect everybody for
for spending time up here listening to everybody else's sort of pitch and ideas and we're all one
community all these things are ultimately hopefully vertically aligned in some way and
maybe we can help each other out definitely seen some relationships form on these stages more
than a few dozen times in the past jason never fucking tired no sleep for you but we moved it
forward a little bit right we we came forward a little bit from our from our regular 2 a.m time
and just recognizing that you guys are you know all across the world and we do want to make sure that
we get the best of you not the worst o'clock in the morning for you so appreciate you coming up for us
and for anybody that doesn't know jason please do um introduce yourself and let us know what you're
working on with the ip ecosystem powered by apecoin through clip
gm gm good always good to be here um myself yeah i'm just in humble way from hong kong so for those
who don't know me uh we run a respectful community that's called the elite apes and we somehow hosted the
ape fest uh in hong kong and yeah i think that's enough for for an intro like this and back to clip
that is more important that's our aip i think it's not just jason's aip it's it's everyone it's
the community leading the ip so clip it's about an ecosystem where ip owners creators and brand
partners turning digital asset into a real business we are here to provide that and make it simple it's
as an ip owner you get earned passive income by ip licensing if you are a creator come and kick
start your project by licensing the the prominent web free ips from the communities also do the
crowdfunding for your project as for brand partners they will come and join the eco that is worth billions
of dollars in the web free market market and then on top of that we have uh online live streaming sales
platform to reach to the web to audiences so that pretty much wrap up what is clip about and we are
doing this the most decentralized way that enabling the nourish the creativity of the people the business
startups activities and also entrepreneurship i love it i love it um all right so just looking at
at clip did you tell what does clip stand for it looks like an acronym community lead ip
community lead ip you love to see you love to hear it and it looks like you have this uh this flagship
platform so the the initial platform would be called clip starter and initially sort of fostering these
collaborations and driving uh the commercialization of the ip through the the various projects through crowdfunding
and aiming to to produce uh virtual exhibits different physical collectibles there would be also loyalty
programs for for the participants there and and more of these these partnerships and i noticed also
just and and i'm noticing more and more just this this presence of ape chain in these proposals and of course
finally we have this this north star this product this uh this this guiding vision for the dow now to
to build and develop on this ape chain and i noticed that you would implement the the d app here the clip
starter there on ape chain can you tell us a little bit about what you're thinking there and maybe
anything that you've already got sort of in the works yeah because ape chain is uh is a very strategic
move that we strive the development of a coin ecosystem that's the most important thing and from that um
um also delegating a team that will uh facilitate everyone's that is using a chain and hopefully we
are one of the first field apps that can can generate income for the acorn down on the chain
love it love it yeah i mean um and again i'm seeing just so many different things right i'm seeing i'm
seeing the games i'm seeing the d apps i'm seeing people developing i mean we even the podcast right i'm
seeing people wanting to to tokenize ip in different ways and jason you had a chance to to
sort of hear the the earlier discussion um from from from danny about the the podcast and sort of
their vision yeah i mean where do you think someone like like uh like like danny how would how do you
think they might be able to take advantage of a platform like clip i mean is there can you give us
like a real world sort of example um i think for a chain alone it's also very important for a point
to be migrated into a chain so how how can we make that coin multiple in in in the ownership i mean so
adopting people having migration from from clip on outside we understood that if they are using a coin
if they are using a chain they shall have a higher multiplier of loyalty system and that's what we're
doing for for clip and perhaps this is something that danny can can consider allowing the people that
has an eight coin or participating in a podcast they get something unique and that's how making the
project and the tokens stands out that sounds very interesting jason thank you so much for for
sharing that thought um i i i i've been following um your your aip i've we've been we've been very uh
drawn to your proposal and um yeah you pretty much answered the question i was i was i was i was about
to ask because um since we are developing uh the aips uh we recently proposed and i think that there's a lot
of um there's a lot of um there's a lot of things that we can also uh connect because for example cuban
which is in which is in the space right now also has a um has an interesting background for production
and other uh uh ips developments so i'm thinking um your proposal can also bring lots of value to the
apecoin community and if there if there is any chance uh you might be interesting in developing latam region
or at mexico or uh u.s uh spanish-speaking people we want to be there with you by your side helping
you out that's that's my only contribution with that jason thank you so much for our proposal
that's excellent actually you know for for what we have done before as a as a little dot in hong kong
we reach out to turkey we reach out to korea the states you name it you know you see from the
proposal all these um are actually showcased that we have done not an idea and yeah but in in latin you
know i don't speak spanish and and it would be great if if there are multiple languages capability
around the world for a coin we are your guys here in spanish contact us
yeah i love it this is one of my favorite parts of the stages just people you know finding these
connections i whatever we don't have to go too much into it but i mean we've we've seen some pretty
crazy collaborations come up on these stages in the past before so definitely do make sure you guys are
following each other if you guys are curious about any of the discussions that we're having make sure
you guys are following all of the authors up here their dms tend to be open and they are happy to
to talk to the community i mean it's one of the the underrated understated parts of the apecoin
dow i think is you know we get a lot of discussion about the forum and the process and that's this so
it's that but ultimately these are some of the most capable people in our ecosystem that are coming
here with their ideas and they're looking for feedback sometimes i mean these are people that
we don't always have access to because they are so busy they are working they are in the trenches and
here they are just looking for feedback during this during this um you know this sort of period while
they're proposing their ideas and even while they're up to vote again because there is
also that resubmission phase where we are seeing a lot of success from authors who maybe they're
not accepted with their initial proposal but come back with the resubmission and boom they're accepted
i mean it's a that percentage is getting up there for for accepted resubmissions so i love to see
these these conversations and i noticed just one more sort of uh present element there uh in in your
proposal jason so the the implementation here going on just throughout the throughout this year
i mean you guys are it seems like we're already pretty well into development looking to have uh to
be pretty well into production uh here by november and also the the mention here of collecting or
connecting the made by ape companies with different resources different channels different ways to maybe
develop their brands can you can you tell us can you talk a little bit about uh what sort of
opportunities might be available for the made by ape community here with clip
yep of course um i was speaking with jay bond uh while we were in dubai and he actually
onboarded clip as well to help out as an ambassador to to help all these nba liations and also that's
his role that currently he is and for all the nba projects yes i see a lot of great builders they have
great products but it's very difficult to break it out into the web 2 audience or sell the the products
and that's the reason why clip provides the live streaming channels and yeah right now we we can only do
much in asia but i'm sure this system itself once it's built and sells uh sustainable a lot of western
kols or live streaming will come on board because they can see that sales are made from here and
and so nba products can be displayed or virtually online everywhere and and get those sales done
love it love it and um i mean let i don't want to you know i'm not looking for for any answers in
particular but i know you're on the timeline i'm on the timeline we're we're present in the community
and we read the comments right we see the discussions we see what people are talking about and can you
could you maybe just give us um give us a response to some of these comments that are popping up on the
timeline maybe people are concerned about the size of some of these proposals that are coming in and
and i said it earlier when we were talking about danny's proposal right i think some sometimes
it's difficult for people that maybe don't have the same experience or who haven't really really
built these sort of larger um whatever projects entities ecosystems whatever you want to call these
sort of bigger projects haven't really had that same experience it's it's difficult to look at
at something like a budget and and make it make sense it's almost like you're looking at
like a like the first couple of strokes on a canvas when an artist is starting their paintings
like you're not going to see the vision you're just not that artist right is it but when it's done
right when you see it when it's when it's all over the timeline and everybody excited then it's like
okay now now it makes sense but can you maybe speak to to the vision here a little bit jason
yes absolutely uh that's a great call when you say um about the the experience and the comments and
some of them i see they even didn't realize this is the most decentralized platform that we are
doing here allowing the owner the brands the the entrepreneur to come on board and they own the
project not not clip centralizing anything and this is the most decentralized and and yeah there are
some comments there um but somehow for the budget honestly i i i look at it i'm scared you know i'm afraid
that is not enough of money honestly if you look at just the event and conference that we look uh budget
there it uh earlier in a in a space with um um uh mocha verse side some realized it's very expensive
just to do an event not to mention insurance or anything that that's adding on top but right now
the way that we budget this i didn't even include my own ticket or traveling because i i do believe
the the system is going to be lasting uh multi-years and and perhaps even forever just look at mickey
miles it's a hundred year ip and i'm sure board ape is going to be forever because we are on chain
and for the budget right now uh most important thing this is not a once-off budget this is for
multi-years and also the maintenance and development and i truly believe clip will be self-sustainable
in the future and that's why this budget is it is what this is and for brand acquisition it's all
about matching ape coin with a great or prominent brand just like what everyone loved already earlier
with the formula one and those budgets will come back after the sales are done it's not the money
throwing out in the air yeah i love it and i appreciate i appreciate the the candor jason i
appreciate you you being willing to to dive into the topics and yeah for i mean for all you guys listening
i mean we're right these are these are regular people in the community just because they have the
proposal up the people haven't changed the same people that you guys have met at the events these
are not this is this shouldn't be a surprise to anybody i think is what i'm getting at right these
are the same things you guys have been seeing built now over the past three years and the dow is
ultimately this this giant treasury right this opportunity to support and to fund and not only
to create sustainability for this pile of money right i mean that's not the only goal we do see
whatever like uh like a season we do see like a shift where authors are now starting to direct
revenue back to the dow but we want sustainability for the ecosystem right we want to sustain the the
community we want projects we want uh this this vertical opportunities where we can you know get
services get access get opportunities simply for being an apecoin holder for being an apecoin
member being part of this ecosystem adventure safe was there was there anything that you wanted
to cover any ideas any thoughts any questions that you had for for jason with this one yeah i did
a couple questions um like one of them it said that um any projects receiving the grants um will have
to contribute a certain percentage of their net revenue to the ape foundation um do you have a
percentage in mind it depends on the project but it ranges from five to eighteen percent this is a very
um ordinary ip licensing uh royalties figures some with minimum guarantee so it depends because we we have
all these showcase that we've done before um roughly they are in general maybe twelve percent all right thank
you um and then the other thing you said that you have like 500 limited edition branded collectibles licensed
with mochaverse nfts um 500 limited edition branded collectibles licensed with bayc nfts um 50 conference
tickets hosted by clip and you're going to distribute these to the top 1000 active participants based on the
clips loyalty system um could you explain a little more about the loyalty system and how that would work
yes the most important thing is uh if any brands or or builders that they are using
apecoin as the means of payment also using ape chain to deploy and they will have a multiplier in terms of
their their participant of clip and that's based on their activeness and also using a coin you know on
on a chain and some of them even is able to migrate the ape coin to a chain all right thank you so much
and thank you so much for being here i know it's late there it's okay as lost just mentioned never
freaking tired this is early this is early normally these stage we do these three hours later jason and
jason will be here it would normally be like the worst o'clock 2 a.m and jason will still be here with
the double the energy even more happy to be here thank you but yeah thank you jason was there anything
that you didn't have a chance to cover anything we didn't ask anything you want to talk about
about the aip 417 the ip ecosystem with clip power by apecoin before we do look at moving on we've got
mr hype here up on stage and i know you're pretty familiar with his ideas here this week as well
yep i think you know apecoin instead of sitting here doing nothing so it's great to see builders
building around a point and i and i truly believe this is the only token that got a lot of talents and
great builders really working super hard underrated and understated definitely the apecoin
down i mean there's so many dows struggled to get to where we started and here we are already advancing
already progressing you love to see it thank you again jason for being here with us and if you guys
aren't make sure you guys are following all of our authors and you guys do have several several days
left you guys have until next wednesday the 15th 6 p.m pst to get your votes in so plenty more
discussions to come about these proposals plenty time to ask your questions but don't wait too long
don't wait you put an end date on it we tell you guys when the end date is and you guys wait till
that end date but just put the votes in now just put the put it in now you know once you once you
guys understand and once you guys made your decision don't don't be shy don't be shy all right i mean i
mean just just right on point again i mean this is a very ip forward uh cycle of voting here for
they put it we got six proposals up we talked about uh the podcast with danny we've got election
changes with all city we've got the clip ip ecosystem um empowerment and powered by apecoin
and now we've got aip419 an expansion of eight chain presence into key asia events mr hype no stranger
to author uh yeah to authoring proposals i mean you've got the 259 proposal previously approved you've
you've got brand guidelines approved for the dow we've got the formation of the steering
committee in progress we've got sponsorship for webex approved i mean sourcing and seeking
out people in the dow helping plug them into different places finding improvements left and
right for anybody who doesn't know mr hype please do give us introductions just to yourself and let us
know what you're working on here with aip419 and this expansion of ape chain into asia and the key
events gm can you hear me you sound beautiful oh thanks uh glad to hear glad to be here today um so
those who don't know me i'm apekin dad and uh in the other aspect i'm uh i'm just a community member
that support apecoin dow in different angles and the way that i'm doing it is by writing aips um
um aip419 is continuing that process with which as lost you just mentioned right um we've been
we pass and we're going to present apecoin in webex one of the biggest web free event in asia in japan
which is going to be in august and aip419 is continue the support of a chain to promote our
our launch it's going to be on on the biggest asia events in ivs crypto which is going to be in
kyoto probably mocaverse will be participate there so we will do uh collaboration there uh
korea blockchain week token 2049 singapore dow tokyo if tokyo and coin fest is here in in bali
um the key the overall aspect here is that i thought that we have a great product which is
a chain which was so necessary that we've all been seeking to and while in february when we selected uh
the the ones that the partners for a chain i recognized the lack of our marketing aspect
of presenting a chain and also apecoin before that it was much more difficult to present apecoin in
irl but now it's also a great momentum for us to to go forward um this particular aip
is also going to help us with something that i was missing last time with webex or lisbon so
this time i figured out that we should also provide allocate uh a money that would go to
to give away flight to the community member so we can bring them to the locations that we're going
to participate and present and that's when we've been in when we when right now operated lisbon or webex we
have tickets but i don't know how many people are actually going to be or going to fly to lisbon
to nfc um nfc is born to participate and see what we are working so hard me and all city
to show a coin in the best way that we can so it's going to be also uh additional to that and
yeah that's kind of what we are doing i'm going to collaborate with arbitron foundation and a coin
foundation and um special consoles and others that going to align about the messages that we
um will produce to hn because hn is very very important launch for us and we do and we do want
to make sure that everything is aligned so that's overall about that and you can also get to the
proposal and see the details about each sponsorship the cost uh what is including etc
yeah i appreciate it i appreciate you coming up and sharing what you're working on and i appreciate
all your time that you've spent with us over the dow or or papa papa apekin and yeah you if annie was
was the was the creator i mean i guess you were definitely the the father in the sense of bringing
the the mascot physically to life with the old uh with your mascot so thank you just wait just wait
to the new version of ape can that will be in webex and you keep saying that i'm ready oh no i'm ready
you don't you don't for real you don't we're gonna have to wait and see then we have to wait and see
all right so just a couple a couple of questions real quick and and coco thanks for joining us up here
coco is one of our official unofficial official co-hosts for the ape comps team he's just always at the
java dime ready to come up and and support and and help out with all these these stages that we're
running in also we got more coming we got plenty more coming coco sorry bro i lost also we announced
about coco to be chief mem officer when we launch agent right bro i'm there bro that's all i need
that's all i need that's the title i wanted bro i think i was born for that job how to put a proposal
and i'll help you we'll help you out we'll help you get that one further anyway real quick um so mr hype i
mean you got what is it five five different events here six i think maybe with no it's still five
right one two three four five yeah so five different events here we've got ivs crypto we've got korea
blockchain we've got token 2049 token 2049 shaping up to be sort of a big one it sounds like with one of
the f1 races going on just around the same time so if you guys are listening in now just a little bit
of alpha it's not necessarily ape fest but there will be a lot of ape oriented things going on at
token 2049 it seems like uh along with the the f1 race week i think this one is in september so if you
guys haven't got tickets if you guys haven't been to sindapore yet keep that one in mind and then also
dao tokyo and e tokyo so again a pretty large presence in in japan and across asia i mean it's right
there in the title i mean then the initiative being called i mean you even got a a name here
a fancy name for the for the for the campaign is the ape coin dragon dance so i love to see that
can you tell us just a little bit about what you're thinking in terms of what these events might look
like and i mean i know we've seen different things at some of these events and again we've seen some of
the whatever the comments on the timeline but for those of us or for anybody who maybe hasn't seen
some of these other events other than nft new york or you know whatever uh different things that
are going on in the the western side of the world i mean what is what is a week of of what of korea
and blockchain week look like what is a what does a dao tokyo look like what is what does an ape
chain activation and token 2049 look like that's a good question to to give a vision and imagination
to that so if we start with um ivs crypto korea blockchain week token 2049 uh and that's much
more similar to a conference events with uh um web free and investors and community and
merge all of that which giving us one two or three days that focus on education about different keynotes
panels and post that post this day it's a side events so this is part of those events so we're
starting with ivs crypto which is in kyoto and then it will be in start of july then we jump into
um the middle of august where we will be presents in dao tokyo which dao tokyo is much more orient to
focus about dao so here we're going to um much more focus on on governance and what we actually done
with apecoin dao so we have our unique proposition about the walking group structure and what all city
will be panel about in lisbon uh which calling um and the blue the walking group blueprint so that's
something that we will much more focus on and we will share about our fun mechanism and the aips
where when the if tokyo which is i think two days next is going to be much more focused on developers
that we will onboard to uh a chain so it's a hackathon that we will focus on uh making some hackathon
competition to build on a chain and build on ape and here we will do some prizes with the if tokyo
then we have our webex which will will already secure to us to be presented there
and that's a bit similar to token 2049 korea blockchain week which is two days conferences
um and side events we are planning to do um it's not confirmed yet so i will not say
the exact name but we're planning to do a additional side event that we will have additional time for us to
to do much more um presents our partners arbitron horizon labs and us and hn and sorry hn and the
aip authors um we will we will speak about it we will announce about it soon it doesn't really relate
it to this particular aip just something that we are going to close with the with all um partners
which is arbitron foundation a point foundation and horizon labs and option labs and back to back so
we have only two three days from webex that we are going to uh fly to korea adoption week there we're
going to have um a key see keynote session about hn and another side event and fly to tokyo to
token 2049 um where we're going to make a big thing with the formula one because day next is
with a formula one race as we all saw and happy to see that so alpine is one of the is our partner
in formula one team and i hope that we will make the best of this opportunity and not just uh having
our logo on the car so we will be proactive proactive to this opportunity we have a great
open door here uh so we will plan to do here um and coin fest we will send part of our team to body
because it will be between um different event that we have in august
back to back to back to back to back to damn that's that's a dance that's the real ape coin
dragon dance no i mean aptly aptly marketing campaign aptly name and mr hype uh i mean that
that's a lot of coordination that's a lot of people in a lot of places that's a lot of traveling can you
tell us a little bit just about your experience in the past with these sort of events and sort of
driving teams forward and success for these sort of i don't know activations implementations it's a
big campaign yeah i did some events um and also in japan i've been in webex so i'm very familiar with
this particular area i already oh i didn't say that but i already uh secure a production team that will
be with us in uh japan i going to establish another person that will help the coordinations there i was
um coordinate uh real estate international company that built those kind of things as well
a long time ago so the vision is there the operation should be um in the future and we will see how it
will goes obviously love it love it yeah i mean that that's i mean just just looking at the the list
of events i'm like damn i gotta move the i gotta move to asia for like a half a year or something i don't
know it might just be cheaper it might be simple it was definitely cheaper spending a week in hong
kong like it would have been cheaper to just stay in hong kong than it's been to come home just just
frankly so definitely consideration something to think about adventure say do you have any questions
uh for aip 419 for mr hype here expanding ape chain's presence in the key asia events
oh i have a lot of questions um i i guess um first of all like you're the author of
aip and welcome mr hype um you you've got aip after aip going up so um you're seeing a lot of
you around um so um you you're also the author of aip 259 which was the language and market focus for
apecoin dow in um 2024 2025. um the results of this still haven't come out i don't know how far along
you are in that but um why are you doing this before you have determined the um markets we should be
focusing on like for the dow because we need a chain to be presents and those events need to
be submitted to be closed the deal now and if we will not do it so actually we will not have the
presents and you agree but uh that's you know establishing and we have until the end of this uh
uh until end of june june to share document with the community so we are we are working on that
and the main reason is because the priority right now the priority is that we need to to give aip
chain um a marketing plan so that's what i did with webex lisbon came with all cities as a
collaboration and this is the big uh marketing operation here um so yeah that's that's the reason
all right um you you say you're basing like this off of like the success of the events that haven't
happened yet like so like what what what are you actually like basing your experience off to be able
to pull this off i do feel that we need um to onboard people um to submit their ips actually and to be
part of the community and to be awareness to action and to build on on on agent so it's not that detail
like we're doing right now with lisbon so i can give you uh lisbon example so it makes you much much more
sense because lisbon israel is is really right over the right in the corner um the booth activity will
be a very um fun way that we will interact with members but to interact with them the term is actually
that they will submit the aip idea uh we we're telling them about um apecoin dow that have a treasury
that they can find an idea for them that they can build on apecoin and we giving the opportunity to
to them to participate on some will spin to win some prize that is apecoin uh marriage
i've complex and in terms to participate we will have uh they they will have to submit a ip idea that
we will have them on board right away to the dow so this is how we set to as as a success for us you
know we want them to be we want more aips to to go to the funnel um regarding to other other events so
if we take the eve tokyo i do feel that it will be different goal because the goal with eve tokyo will
be that there will be much more mature development on apegen so because they had a thought
all right well okay let one of the bigger things i've seen like people talking about is the budget
and how expensive things are um you've got sponsorship for 900 000 booth production for 200 000
um the side events for 450 000 uh staff expenses 120 000 marketing materials 330 000 and then flight
tickets 100 000 um so could you provide more insight into the allocation of these funds like can you break
down the cost of each of them and explain their necessity yeah absolutely first of all sponsorship is is
quite uh quite uh a lot i saw some comments that uh we can get for free um so in the proposal you can
see the pricing table and you can just get understood when we can have a speaker slot when we can't what is
the cost for each one of them and um it's right in there so you can see the token 2049 is uh at least
400 000 000 minimum to be um with a 15 minute speaker slots it's something that we can say it's not worth
that i can i can understand the points to that um and same thing we've been for korea and ids crypto
um regarding to the buffer and both the booth production so we have six booths to operate and to create
it's a lot uh screen meters that cost money um and side events so the the most of that will be for two main
events that we will do in um in singapore and one more in in the if tokyo uh dow tokyo operation
and that's something that i said about it before
regarding to the the staff expenses so nice i just break it down and that's what it will be
the marketing uh material most of that will cost for the perks it costs a lot uh we saw that right now
with uh lisbon and we see that right now how we're doing it with um webex i don't taking the perks
are not cheap uh we are not thinking about just printing some logo and that's it we're thinking much
more uh with high-end perks and creative perks to that and that's also including the marketing efforts
which is all the awareness that we will do around those events which is not only uh our participation
in the event uh yeah we got into the flights so i don't know if everyone understood that but
in each event we will part of the campaign we will give away five to ten flight tickets depends on the
budget to each vendor and we will include uh the event passes as i said before the when we operated
this bone and webex i i understood that we have tickets but the community is not benefit from those
tickets so i said let's also include that um thank you so like those event tickets how are those going
to be distributed in a fair and transparent way uh i think with the apecoin twitter account
but uh we will discuss with marketing communication working group today i think that's the case
all right so also like you you mentioned the staff so who is included in this staff like and who's
getting like their things you know comped and paid for and how has this been determined
yeah sure so first of all you can see that in in the questions that i answered in the in the proposal
and if i would get much more direct to that so i just read it to you for you can understand
um yeah so with right now we're talking with our community members like herbie
what if g spencer jesus popiel jason dm all cd jace uh james lost chris and which final updates will be
soon with um the proposal that will pass and we will also speaking with close partners like
arbitron horizon labs tank ape uh boring securities swamp gaming and other community members
um and also we have the the ability to the ape foundation to opt in to the participation
all right um and then also like beyond just the increased exposure by being at these events like
what specific metrics are you going to be using to measure this success and like how do you see this
like the amount of money invested in this like how do you see this um benefiting the dow
the main benefit i think is that we need to have a support to the agent launch to to be honest about
sponsorship that kind of um that kind of amount i do agree it's it's a lot asking 400 000 for
for speaking for 15 minutes but we do want to be participating in that in my opinion in that kind of a
huge event like target 2049 especially with the formula one race and our partnership with formula one
team but again i do feel that in the end acorn dow should understand and decided yes or no to that
and it's okay not to pass this proposal and still keep us with lisbon event and webex event
all right thank you so much mr hype thank you thank you for that i hope that hope that was answering
you everything that you captive and um let's see let's see i think that in any way it would be a proud
time to to execute i i can be sure to that thank you i see coco has his hand up as well oh hey yeah
no um yeah so mr hype i was just gonna ask if you've ever done anything like that before like
for any other project in crypto chief mem officer are you listening to the questions and the answers
or you're right it's hard you're right to listen to the to the numbers that's happening with that or
candles candles so yes and one of the things that um was for me amazed is um webex experience last time
was uh surreal and i i so grateful that the dow actually decided that we will uh execute uh webex and
be presented there i have plenty of things to there i don't know if you ever been in webex event but
it's uh it's a different level of web3 event that people execute so um
um and and and i i never been with uh target 2049 uh operation but i'm i'm pretty sure that the
the team is solid there so we can have the same thing that we did before with agents and what we
need to operate there okay cool that's all i was asking sorry i missed that part when you were saying
it earlier my bad what is the alpha coco no no no we don't want we don't want coco we don't want
coco's up coco must have did you did you buy any penguins yesterday uh no no all right but that's all
the i'm buying apes bro that's all that's like that's all the alpha you need to know i actually
i didn't even mean nfts i actually meant actually meant tokens that was a really a veiled question did
you know that really the bulls on the block bought a real bull coco real one okay pinky's
crying pinky knows what i was talking about pinky knows pinky knows what i was talking about yeah all
right um look i appreciate you mr hype coming up here and sharing and you made it through the ring
of fire with adventure safe if you thought you were going to get a proposal past adventure safe
you thought wrong think again she's got questions coming and she's you probably got more she
actually let you off easy so appreciate you you're getting through those with us
is there anything that you didn't have a chance to to touch on that we um that we haven't covered
here yet today that hn is coming it's exciting thing to us i do like to say uh appreciate everyone
here it's a wonderful community and wonderful people and we all have a great opportunity by having
the connection to each other here uh for one proposal other proposal one week another week it doesn't
really matter and it just the people that's that's the unique thing about our community
love it love it appreciate we are coming up towards the the end of the stage we've got one more author
here with us where there's two more proposals that we can discuss here so if you guys have any
questions or wanted to to get up here we'll start to to let you guys up but we're gonna move on here to
our final aip author and we just go numerically so just keeping it keeping it plain and simple and
appreciate you guys sticking around for for the whole discussion and vibing out here with each
other on on the stage and grains i mean putting yourself through the damn ringer i mean you went
through the two and a half weeks or three weeks however long it took you to get up to vote the
first time and definitely two weeks through the process through the stages through the the regular
ringer but then kabow i mean right back with the resubmission and i said it earlier resubmissions are
generally pretty successful and people kind of taking whatever feedback and having a chance to go
around through the community and familiarizing themselves and becoming more familiar with people
so yeah i mean definitely definitely kudos to you so this is a resubmission but bam putting yourself
right straight back into it for for another two weeks so looking forward to to having you on these uh
stages and seeing you across all these discussions and i've already seen you across the the different
stages i saw you happened to go by mocha verse earlier this morning already so you're maybe going on
like hour 10 of stages today alone and a couple hours with the bulls on the blockchain over the
weekend so appreciate you coming out and making it here with us today and for anybody that didn't
catch your first submission please do just give us an introduction for yourself and let us know your
ideas and what you're working on here with the ape coin rewards app cool thanks for the intro yeah i'm
really putting myself through it i think it's been what five six weeks of doing this now but um i've
learned so much i mean that's the important thing i've learned a lot more about the infrastructure of
everything and and um and the different subgroups within this so it's been really helpful lots of feedback
both positive and negative and i've made a few changes to make that right within the uh proposal but i think
i would like to say just in terms of like the proposal and the name of the proposal right i think
there's a bit of confusion because and i'm i can see why now um when you think of rewards you think of
sort of grinding for points or something like that and um that's not what this proposal is so
the ape coin rewards app is about offering um real world experiences to holders and that includes
things like um two for one tickets on concerts and this is throughout the world so it's not just
confined to the uk europe or the us it's also asia hong kong um so we can cover all of these different
areas uh discounts on concert tickets uh we work directly with a lot of music artists uh which is
um unique in terms of the way that we get access to these these tickets and offers um early access
to tickets which i'm sure we all get on like our credit cards and things like that uh but we've got
another way that we can do that also uh but also access to about 700 retailers big retailers
um from your walmart's to your nike to various different brands um because i used to own um
europe's biggest biggest affiliate network um if you're out in asia then uh you might know rakatan
advertising with a kind of equivalent to that when i sold by company that i built from scratch
i sold it to a company in germany uh called axel springer um so a lot of experience in the
rewards side of things and putting together deals like that but also a lot of experience in the
entertainment industry with my company fan circles so the proposal is on the back of the backbone of the
software that we've had running for seven or eight years with 70 plus different clients and three million
users you know this is millions of dollars of investment over time so what and we're looking for such a
small amount really to to to make this work um the benefits of this compared to doing this on a
commercial kind of uh from a commercial point of view say with a business with a company
is that we we don't have to take any any part of this um of the discounts and availability of concept
tickets for example so we don't need to take a 30 cut to run the business because the dow pays for the
platform it means that 100 of all of this goes back to the to the holders which is absolutely unique
because normally of course you've got to take money to run the business so there won't be any offers out
there that can get anywhere close to what we can offer holders because we're giving all of it back
yeah i love it i had to switch my switch my mic over for a bit if i sound a little bit different
and so if anybody hasn't had a chance to uh to hear and if you guys didn't catch it now so this is a
apecoin rewards app it is different than anything that we currently have in the ecosystem and i'm lost
here behind the hodler collective account i'm pretty familiar with what we've got available to us as
board apes and as a point holders and the fan circles proposal here it is a unique app to our
ecosystem it would be available there on ios on android there would be a web app and designed to
reward holders with different benefits so it would be a white labeled app it wouldn't necessarily be
a fan circles app it would be underlying fan circles uh tech would be underlying the platform but it would
be very apecoin forward and with the community having the availability there to put different
offers different rewards different discounts tickets um what have you up through the platform
making them available to verified members of the community and grains here having been doing this for
a while already having a network of other uh businesses other companies that are also taking
advantage of the platform in in their own way again sort of offering this white label service and so
he's got in his network um brands like walmart and and all the various subsidiaries and different
products and things you might think about well not walmart i'm sorry walgreens and all the the different
things that you might think and expect to find there and i don't have to go any farther i mean they
got fucking everything in walgreens food medicine whatever clothes i mean whatever they got everything in
in walgreens in terms of brands so you get an idea for sort of the the partnerships and maybe opportunities
that might open up there as we start to collaborate on platforms and discounts and i think one of the
things that grains you've brought up several times and maybe every time in these discussions is that
that opportunity for people to offer these rewards to a verified group of holders and and really drawing a
point to if discounts are made widely available if everybody sort of knows that something is 10
off or 20 off regularly then that sort of becomes the price and and so this opportunity this community
really offering um an interesting symbiotic relationship with what you've already built there
no i think so it was actually walmart but interestingly walgreens um is owned by a british company called
boots which is also a pharmacy over here um so there's there is talk within boots and we actually
run the boots internal staff uh discount system which they they normally feed that money back to uh
their staff for various different company outings and things so we work in so many different ways
but of course they take a little bit for themselves as well so um you know i think uh
uh yeah this is open also for for not only eight coin holders but obviously board eight dot club and
muggle bass uh jenny club blue bulls on the block assets and surreal um so yeah it's open to everybody
and you know the thing is this is the thing that i do i build fandom and i i see that we can build
um a bigger ecosystem and also probably even work with other aips that have passed such as the f1 um
aip which means that you have not spoken to them i've loved to speak to the guys uh but but they have
an allocation of of tickets i believe and also sign caps and all sorts of memorabilia i think pit passes
those kind of things and you know if there needs to be a way to distribute these kind of things this
could be the platform that helps that happen yeah of course they can have another platform that allows
that to happen also or instead of but it could sort of help bring together a lot of aips that have
the same issue you know um having spoken to aaron also i don't think he's on the call today um
and his comedy shows um why not include those in part of this proposal as well um doesn't have to do
uh it can work independently but it's just another route to market and ultimately fandom is an
interesting one because you know if you've got f1 fans and they want to get hold of something that
that they can't get hold of um a pit pass a signed hat um then they will go out of their way to go and
figure out a way that they're going to get hold of those and that brings more people to the ecosystem
and that's what i want to bring i want to be able to help this system grow bring more apecoin holders
into the system and not just think about the people that are already in here as well so that helps i think
everybody and everything so i really think it's a really fair uh fairly priced um proposal um it
really we have to work for our money um i know that and um you know i'm very passionate about this space
and fandom is the key driver for all of this yeah i think you know that i mean there's definitely a
certain point of fandom and whatever people are going to yap and yap about the tech of the blockchain and
the nfts and whatever you go on reddit and then they hate it but you you hit that certain point
of fandom where it's like if you offer me something me i'm like a venom fan i'm like a marvel geek i'm
i'm a geek for for damn near anything that has a solid ip but you tell me you're putting it on a
a hat or a sticker or whatever the fuck it is and i get access for being a member of some community
i'm downloading your app i'm downloading your app i'm probably giving you my address and giving you
my name i'm i'm doxing i'm full dog you're getting everything from me and it could be like a five
dollar hat but if it's only available to us i need it and it could be a sticker it doesn't
even have to be it could be a sticker like i need i want it right i just i want to i want to keep it
so i mean there's definitely that point of fandom and i think we need these channels right i need
we have uh bradley's astro he's one of the the guys that helped uh work on dash and payment channels and
one of the things he talks about with with these tokens right gotta be easy to spend gotta be easy to
use and this is one of those things that that makes it apecoin easy to use easy to spend easy to
easy to get familiar with in a in a real way i i we do have one more proposal um that that we want
to discuss and i did offer for people to start coming up on stage and adventure safe we will
not skip the other proposal i wouldn't do it to us but uh before we start going to the hands and
adventure safe was there any questions or anything that you wanted to to ask for
aip422 the resubmission for the apecoin rewards app not really i think you explained it really
well grains thank you for coming again and resubmitting appreciate you i'm getting better
at doing it look one thing i'll leave it with i i've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes on
this and and and obviously there was a couple of years ago when music artists were getting into nfts and
and then withdrew pretty quickly at that particular time they had sort of crypto bats and and avenge
sevenfold and boy george and boy george is a client of ours for example um they really stepped away
from it but interestingly that that they are sniffing around a little bit and i have to say that if we do
get this one through the the we're also going to be running various different competitions and i've
secured for this if we get this through the the guitar that chris martin played throughout the whole
tour uh of coldplay on the milo xylo tour is painted and it was you can see all over the place it's a one
and only guitar and that will be a giveaway within the platform to one lucky winner
that sounds amazing wow i love it i love it um all right grains yeah i appreciate you you coming up
and sharing and grains was our our last available author for this week and just aaron just just so
i i don't forget it it won't derail us too much i'm just gonna just mention we do have one other
proposal that's up for both this week it's ap 426 it's clarifying the roles for upcoming election
cycles for the special council and we'll circle back to that one there there are some some whatever
there's three different sort of updates to the guidelines there and again we'll circle back but
i saw we got a few people up on stage we got aaron we got g we got ja love to see it uh i don't
remember i think actually it was ja that came up first and i think he might have came up for a
different proposal so aaron i'm just gonna throw it over to you for this one a shock and awe moment maybe
for you at home yourself aaron but please do um i think you had a question for grains
yeah i mean it's less of a question and more of of a couple of quick statements i mean one
i have seen you know people say well you know who downloads apps i'd like to remind people that
they're saying that on an app they downloaded so um you know people do download apps we do everybody
here you're on an app you you may be on your your desktop but i'm pretty sure you also have it on
your phone it's it's an app uh two you know i've spoken to grains about you know about aips and all
that and you know but also uh during the conversation he showed me uh one of the apps that he's put out
and i have to say that i was floored it was it's amazing i mean it's just absolutely amazing to the
point where it's definitely going to be something where if our aip passes um we're going to use it as
a tool for mass adoption and it just has everything that you could want from the standpoint of either an
artist or a company you know social media engagement uh you know merch sales ticket sales
live streaming i i mean it's just an absolutely unbelievable app and um and it's not like an
app where they just put it out and then forget about it they have somebody actively managing your app
uh as part of the deal so i i just have to say that you know right now it looks like a lot of
people like ah i don't i don't know you know when you're looking at the snapshot i just want to tell
people to maybe reach out to grains maybe ask him and how many people will do this right people just
like to go nah you know but if you really actually want to know what's up you know ask grains for a tour
of one of these apps and your mind might be changed because it's quite substantial in addition to the
benefits to um you know apecoin holders and mocha etc just the actual app itself is is great for
bringing people into the ecosystem thanks i really appreciate that thank you and yeah i am open to
you know whether it's jumping on discord or zoom or wherever you want to meet and i'll show you
i'll run through it you know this is not something that was built in a day this is something i've made
mistakes with this is something i've built over a long period of time we've got some major major
clients um on both sides of the equation so you know this is what my passion is this is what i i do
for a living and i really you know really believe this can bring something brand new uh to the hell
for sure yeah not just the dow though i mean the whole ecosystem again shout out the whole
yeah shout out to you for for for putting yourself to the ringer and and really making a point of trying
to get this and get the point across for the community which you're offering for me it's like
it does seem like that next logical step for for where we are in the ecosystem at one point
we had token proof introduced to us as a community and it was like maybe not necessarily entirely
obvious that it was going to be such a big next step but within i think a couple weeks within a
couple months of token proof being introduced to us and then you go sort of adopting it almost the
entire web3 ecosystem sort of adopting it right i think it sort of became really clear that it was
sort of that necessary next step and this this app that you're suggesting now coming as i don't know
we're at mba number 500 almost we're well into the 400s of mbas different products different projects
that the community's working on different discounts different things different services different
whatever opportunities they might want to put out to the community as a result of those products or
projects that they've built same thing with aips i mean right there side by side running uh you know
right next to mba numbers we're we're in that 400 range for aips over a hundred proposals i mean
dozens of different projects companies services that have come through the apecoin dow that are
coming up in the apecoin dow now that have already been funded that are again going to have services
ticketing going to have different discounts that they're going to want to make available to the
community and here you are kind of at that that catalyst kind of at that crucial moment presenting
an app and not just let me put out an mvp and and figure it out and you know give me a million
dollars to to figure it out but now you've been doing this i mean you're working with major
companies across the across the world and now offering it to apes and i mean we talk about it
all the time in in the board community about just the talent that we have in the community and i mean
here's talking about talent fucking talent here here you are here it is here's talent looking looking
right at us so appreciate you again for being here gsr you joined up i think during mr hype's uh
segment but also know you've been you know present obviously in all of these different discussions did you
you have any questions or anything that you wanted to to add in here you know i always got
lots to say thanks for having it's a fire space and you talk about talent i mean a great way for me to
jump up and just you know um what's inspiring me uh of recent in this conversation is just like
i'm looking out here and like um first of all uh on the note of it being a great space it's inspired a
lot of conversations outside of these aips that i hope we can get to maybe after them and um including
what um uh all sorry adventurous was talking about and how you know a lot of what is going on here is
sort of hand-picked and who ends up on these panels and stages is sort of funded uh not sort of it's
funded often by um you know a hand-picking of uh whoever appears by whatever vc and represents that on
stages that we all sort of tune into and so i love the idea that um these aips are coming out which are
going to bring community out onto these stages and into booths and etc and uh how we go about
picking them is of exceptional um importance to us all i think it it can breed resentment to the
degree of capitulation if you're if you're getting panned and you know with you know you're not lost
i've you know i've had these conversations when you feel like you're left out or whatever you're
going to feel like okay well i'm done here i'll just move on and go to a you know where i'm valued
and i also find value and so um they you know the idea that uh there's a friends club or people are
being hand-picked for certain reasons this or that and the other thing is huge and so how we go
about that i think is a very very uh important discussion i love that all uh adventurous raised
that and um and as we move into elections i want that to be you know a topic that is raised amongst
people you know how did you get here um did somebody invite you because they want you to be
here and they're they're sort of already got you lined up to be a position or whatever um these
types of things are already ongoing and so it is very uh important that we discuss nepotism etc so
love all that on the other hand look at who's out here right in terms of uh like i love that you went
to me on that topic of talent like look who's out here you talked about grains i already gave them
their flowers you know we roll uh trying to get them to go in for the elections they've already given
up enough of their life it's like the scene from godfellas they just keep godfather they just keep
dragging me back in right and now we're trying to get you into elections my dude like he's got the
finesse trust me we went into how things are finessed me from motion pictures and how i get and you know
um the hard knock life tour backstage all access and what that looks like and uh and all that and and
there's just different things that people bring that i think escape not only the um you know people
other people out here in the space can't all apprehend it and plus we all suffer from metaverse
indigestion um there becomes a limit like there's this many tickets and so not everybody can go and
that's my point about talent like everybody out here in this space uh listeners and on the stage
deserve to be at these uh stages and i'm sure would want to go there if they could afford it and had the
funding or resources etc um so i i i think uh that's important what i really wanted to note was that um
you adventurous you also uh raised an important point which is that um you know he's got all these
other things going on which maybe haven't come to full fruition and have their okrs met or whatever
before we go on to the next thing sequentially and yet on the other hand with the rate of you know
metabolism in this space and how things change and things pop up i think it's important that we note
that so i look at like ovr ovrs out here for the first time i want to give them their flowers i'm
long time ovr ride with them one of our iterations for the halls is with them they're going to be on
the stage at lisbon sandbox is going to be there ape coin is going to be there all sitting a bunch
of other people presumably dim and all these others behind the scenes know that and so they would have
a different hand pick than so and so and such and such and people voting how do we make that how do
we all apprehend that how do we see and discover all that or just make it so that we can all get there
that's my big point why can't we just have funding for not only the people that whoever picks whether
that's mr hype or it's voted on or whatever process but then to have addendum things that just say okay
we want more people there let's fund that let's put in another aip and another one or you know like that
yeah it's interesting i mean ultimately if we're you know we're funding where people costs go up and
i mean obviously discussion about cost people find there's a challenge to come to consensus on
exactly how much money to spend on on different implementations but definitely want to be you know
inclusive in this environment and there are sort of different paths that we see people taking with
proposals right i mean there's this working group sort of path and this this process path there's this
i mean even ape comes right i mean you talk about the stage like we're not necessarily we're not
being funded or paid for the stage the proposal that we put up didn't have any funding for it
we have been doing these stages for real dude what was up with that i mean i'm not here to bug you
anymore i gotta bug you my dude no i mean this is well well this is this is the point right like we
that's why we do this is why we do these stages i mean to bring value to the community to bring value
to the people that are in the community so that it's not such a surprise when people are coming up with
these funding requests it's not such a surprise when you see that people are actually building
for the dow that there is something here to build for but to get to that point we do you know we
need to support these people that are actually capable and that have experience and have talent
we need to support them we need to find a way to get them to get them going on these things that
they're passionate about so i mean every time we find almost every time we funded something it hits the
timeline in a in a pretty exciting way and we we and we ah before we approve it and then you know
things get approved and then boom you know just recently obviously like the f1 partnership how much
did it cost i don't remember i don't care it was already worth it everybody's excited about
apecoin again right like there is no like there's no value that there's no dollar value that you can
put on every almost everybody unanimously just being excited about the ecosystem again right
throwing on the race suit and yeah i mean it's not necessarily a response to it to what you're saying
but can i kind of just uh observation for what's going on it kind of is thank you can i ask you to
that point like and yeah to to my question like how do we make it all apprehensible like you know
for example you have great discernment that's why i'm asking you how do we make what you can discern
a you know how have other people out there in the general aggregate or people just tapping in
occasionally uh be able to discern what you discern like you know that puke me and you know that puke
really loves f1 and how that could all play and that should be a hand pick for anything happening
out there and that how do we make all that across the board you know we mentioned uh coco being uh
you know uh you know minister of memes or whatnot like how do we make that how do we get coco out to
japan so that coco can like get that crowd out there right because you know whoever hand picks another
crowd who's of the builders or whatever might just like you know throw shade on the meme coin community
how do we get it so that people apprehend and um can you know ascertain all of that is my question you
as a person who's meant to digest and present all this yeah i mean i mean now i think is the best
time to be asking that question right because we have these elections and the election application
process is now open and we're going to see more of these decisions start to be made through these
groups right over the past i don't know year and a half i put out a tweet about this like a while back
and like everybody was excited about it but over the past year and a half or so two years almost nobody
has been working full-time for the apecoin dow now there's going to be almost a dozen people
working full-time for the apecoin dow so in the past where it seems like we whatever the dow the
dow quote unquote if you're holding an apecoin you are the dow but it seems like the the brand just sort
of struggled right at these different areas communication presence partnerships now we've got
these working groups with people who are dedicated to working full-time to build a brand and yeah sure
they've got their own sort of projects or whatever going on in the in the ecosystem but that's a benefit
right they're bringing partnerships they're bringing their experience they're bringing their
talent they're bringing their network here to the apecoin dow and yeah they the community through
these elections has the the chance the opportunity to one put themselves up to be in the election
themselves and to be in these roles or to then you know be a part of these discussions and ultimately
vote on on who is going to be in these roles and in those those day-to-day critical operations
positions and ultimately those stewards these these special council members right and particularly
i'm talking about the working groups and the stewards they're not going to be doing a hundred
percent of the work that's why they're putting these budgets up right they're going to be looking
for people in the community to do these things they're going to be looking for resources from
outside of the community to bring in to meet with the community to improve everybody's experience so
i mean as we don't even have these these working groups fully established yet i mean i know
there's a lot of discussion about it but only now during this next election are we finally going
to have three stewards in the in the marketing uh meta in the marketing the metaverse and in really
the governance working groups and finally establishing the the fourth one the web3 development and
even that one's only going to have two of the three so we haven't even really fully developed
the structure but i think already people are starting to see the results you guys are seeing what
dim is doing on the timeline you guys are seeing what marketing communications is doing with the
they're they're participating in the f1 activation the communication i mean you guys are seeing
the the effects in real time of the community stepping into these roles the community choosing
who's who steps into these roles and what what the talent is capable of bringing into this ecosystem i
think we're seeing it we're seeing it fast see fast i want to move on i want to go somebody else so we
got jaw up here with us judge appreciate your extreme patience i'm not sure which topic you wanted to jump
back to but please do and then we'll look at at sort of wrapping it up here hey guys um i'm an og of the
well it's of 48 bodies i guess and we came from the pool of bodies that we only adopted three years ago
uh we didn't mint it we bought it but uh we jumped to my consensus so uh conclusion that where i i i know jason
in person i met him like last year or stuff like that so um for the aip i i just want to rally a bunch of
people that you know um for aip 419 that the way i see it i just read about it uh sorry i've been a low profile
because i i'm not very active in this space but uh we are hodlers of 48 bodies and um
when i see the budget and everything and just somebody tweet about it and uh
it's just that i find that it is good and bad i am kind of neutral about it but i find the budget is
over budget and um it's just that i'm kind of disagree with that and with the team and everything i don't
find there is a real team behind that so um yeah i'm just going to co-op vera
the the pink ape and rally about it and see how she's going to react about it that's all i can say
i'm neutral about it but i just find it's over budget so uh yeah this is me and that's the way i
say it but we are still og of uh for your body that's all thank you i appreciate you taking the
time to i'm talking in the wrong way i appreciate you taking the time to join us up on stage today
john and voicing your support here for the community and i appreciate everybody spending the time to to
be here with this in this discussion i mean we're right right at the top of this hour and if you guys
have tuned in other cities i do like to end it at the the top it doesn't matter i mean we don't have to
to necessarily bring that culture over here directly but it would be a nice time to to
wrap it up we've heard from all the authors i don't see any pending requests to come up adventure
safe before we go one more proposal one more proposal okay that's right there you go this is
why i was going to turn it to you before we go there all right i'm not going to get our 10 o'clock
cut off not even close but i mean this one is pretty simple again it's like all cities proposal so
we have aip 426 there was actually one more process proposal up and if you guys have not
had a chance to get your votes in do get them in by next wednesday 6 p.m pst on the 15th special
council role clarification for upcoming cycles this one submitted by colossus a couple changes
here for the special council role one clarifying that it is the advisory board however no material
changes to the aip process guidelines or the current authorities of the special council however
clarifying that it is in fact a advisory board and not a managerial or project management position so
a lot of discussion we've had about the special council role i mean that seems pretty simple we've
we've heard from g we've heard from ssp in the past about kind of looking to see this done so here's
that along with introducing requirements that special council nominees must have been discourse
members for at least six months before the commencement of the term that they are running
and achieved a minimum level uh trust level two on the forum and this wouldn't impact the current
elections but this would apply to the next elections they did the author did specify that so something to
consider for the next elections there if you guys are interested in these roles and if this were to
be approved definitely want to make sure you guys are signed up on the forum and finally the initiative
also removing the weekly reports which were previously established by aip 305 and that one i've again
i've seen discussion back and forth people like the the communications people don't like the reports
people like the reports people like doing the reports people don't like doing the reports
but alongside the clarification of the special council being an advisory role and not a project
manager position this idea of a weekly cadence for reporting it doesn't necessarily make sense it's not
necessarily how an advisory board works and so you know this being the maybe the next step in what
would be a series of solutions in getting more clarification on how this special council role
should work so that's ep 426 and we don't have the author here per se but adventure safe did you have
any any questions or anything that you wanted to cover for this one um just a personal opinion like
as far as like i don't i'm kind of indifferent to changing the name to advisory board and um i think
i could see the benefits of like um having the discourse um requirements but um i i'm not really
a fond of getting ready the reports um because at this point in time we really don't have a lot
of communication with the special council um i'd rather see them like adapted or modified in some way
to be more useful um either that or find a different way to communicate with a special council but right
now i i do feel like we're not getting enough from them about what's going on so that's just my
personal opinion on it yeah love the love the personal takes and we'll have to see what those
solutions look like and we're going to help as as part of the you know the the solution there is we
do have these bi-weekly stages that we'll be presenting ape chain updates and information and
we'll have the chain team as well as members from the special council for those discussions they'll be
pretty pointed at ape chain and updates on the ape chain and those will be bi-weekly on on fridays
but they'll they'll be present for for us with those discussion and we do these generally mondays
and fridays at noon pst however the majority of you are of our authors uh are coming from the the
eastern hemisphere here this this cycle and so just a slight accommodation here still edging into to to
the worst of clock for them but we know they like to do it a little bit later anyway so i think we
found a pretty a pretty neat time here to make it work and shout out to the pewcast team the pewcast stage
as well we're apecoms here presenting this stage for you today we're also partnered with them on
wednesdays presenting serious discussions approved education on wednesday it's not that seriously i
mean they're they're called pewcast i mean come on so you guys can join us there you're welcome to
spend time with us there 6 30 a.m psts on wednesdays and don't forget to get your votes in
get your applications and you got to tell wednesday 6 p.m pst on the 15th to get your votes in
you got until may 22nd 6 p.m pst to get your applications in if you're thinking about being
a special council member or steward in one of these groups again thank you all for being here
john you see you got your hand up anything real quick before we go anything
was was it a ghost hand we're good what's up no no no no no i'm here i'm here
just want to add one more thing on aip 419 uh that i read so everything is spending us dollars so
uh it might be a caught a side effect on the dump on if we if that's proposed uh so all the sponsorship
us are using us dollars in utility so if we give out the grant it doesn't really have the sponsor to
adopt a coin so that's a bad sign for that and whoever got received the grant have to dump the
coin for us dollars so it might affect to all users in this ecosystem so just what i just want to say
this on on whoever's listening thank you yeah i love it and for whoever's listening i mean we got
hundreds of millions of dollars in volume so uh daily so i don't think a couple million bucks
is going to impact the price too much for us uh coco anything you wanted to throw on before we go
um no i i think that i just like i kind of take note and take weight of like how active like the
people in the community are right now as compared to where it was a few months ago and it's just really
positive and it's made it's motivated me so yeah i've been showing up to almost all of these and
yeah it's just really good i just feel like we're in an upward trajectory so kudos and all the apes
giving themselves a pat on the back i feel like we're going in the right direction love it i don't
think you were here when i mentioned it earlier but we did give you the shout out and we did see
that proposal go live and if you guys have it oh yeah one i mean one of the four that went live in
the past week you love to see it the ape express finally live we've been hearing hints and highs
and i mean you told me but everybody in the audience didn't know yet and so now you guys can
go on the forum and check out coco's proposal it's live we were not capping he really he really put it
up yeah so yeah i just want feedback for now but yeah i'm excited but yeah maybe we'll do a space
where i can talk about it a little bit more on the next one or something yeah wednesday i mean you
can come through with us on wednesday and friday is a community hour we got plenty of stages coming
and we'll have plenty more time for people to come up and share their ideas thank you all for being
here with us today i'm gonna we're choosing violence we're choosing violence stand it out
