Thank you. Thank you. I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree.
I just want you for my own.
Oh, when you put in for love, make my wish come true.
All I want for Christmas is you.
Oh, yeah. I just want you for my own
More than you would ever know
All I want for you must be
You, baby I want your Christmas in the heat.
Oh, I won't ask for much this Christmas.
I won't even wish for snow.
And I won't even wish for snow.
I won't make a list that's in it. You're not called for sinning. Oh, all i want for christmas is you all thank you all for making 2025 an amazing year
it's been a beautiful one for me especially and the year has been full for me in every sense of it talking about the
launch of app 3 and thanks to each and every one of you live on this space today and so everybody
else that's still going to come in or listening later you guys made that really special for me
and the rest of the team and we are just super grateful for all the milestones we're able to achieve this year.
More than that, Spookspaces in and out.
You guys have turned up and made it continue to be exciting, continue to be alpha-filled to every speaker, to every listener we have had on every episode this year.
This is going to be our last
Spokespace for the year, and it's our Christmas special, and I'm happy we are making this a
tradition. So thank you guys so much for making that happen. I'm so grateful that we have Avery
on here. I see he dropped. Hopefully we can get him up on time time because I would like to have an opening remark from Avery here.
So if Avery can hear this, please come up.
Let's kick off the space with our CEO, Avery, giving an opening speech.
But we also have Ash here.
And I mean, we can kick it off with Ash as well if Avery is...
Okay, looks like we didn't lose him so yeah awesome
2025 an amazing year for me I'm super grateful able to experience the actors experience and
connect with Ash every year of Pranav you all are amazing but more amazing in person
Avery thanks for coming on Spookspace Christmas Special.
Please, you have the mic.
Since the beginning of the year,
we've been really working hard on developing new products,
as you guys know, Decibel and Shelby,
and now we have namespaces.
And so, Bri, you are really, really happy about our positioning when it comes to the
focus points, thinking about revenue, thinking about how value accruals to network.
And I'm very, very excited for how 2026 is going to kick off.
Great to hear from all of you.
Thank you so much for the opening remark, Ivery.
Definitely an exciting year for Aptos uh especially when you look at decibel and
shelby i mean these are exciting things i'm looking forward to the most for 2026 i think
if there's highlights i can already i'll wait coming in 2025 and 2026 is decibel and shelby
But we already have Pranav here,
going to go straight into Decibel.
Pranav, how has the announcement of Decibel been?
What has your emotions been like since the announcement?
And so far with 2025 now coming to a close,
did this year go for Shelby as you thought it would?
Pranav, you're still muted.
Okay. Pranav having his unk moment, dude.
Yo, Pranav, it's the red mic button on the bottom left.
Thank you so much for that, Ash.
Well, we also have our head of Ecosystem here with us, Ash.
Ash, I believe you as well can speak to 2025 for the Aptos Ecosystem.
Happy Holidays, everyone.
I love hearing Baba's voice when he hosts
spaces. He was one of the first spaces that greeted me
when I took this gig in, I think, February
as head of ecosystem. I mean, let me summarize it from my perspective
on 2025, right? Specifically
from Aptos' point of view.
You know, I think we kind of had this decision point, right? Which was as an L1, a high throughput blockchain,
what does it mean to build an ecosystem, right?
What is the step one, step two, step three things that we need to do?
And I kind of consider us starting in that journey in a very intentional fashion earlier
this year, both from the lab side and the Aptos Foundation side, right? And I think from the lab
side, what was very exciting and I think is kind of going to trailblaze the future is
how does the labs entity full of amazing engineers and product managers and designers,
what do they choose to build to make the blockchain more useful? Or what are the ambitious
things that they are uniquely set up to build to make our blockchain, you know, a leader in a market category?
And I think that two of the things that they have set forth on are the things that are going to trailblaze the future, right, in terms of how blockchain technology is utilized at scale.
blockchain technology is utilized at scale. One is trading, right, from a front-end application
experience, a concentrated liquidity experience, and also a blockchain infra experience.
And the second is data and compute, which is essentially allowing for high-throughput
applications to run on fully distributed systems, which have sat on the sidelines.
And if you think about what's transpired over the year, right,
as they embarked on this journey for Testnet and Shelby's now on DevNet,
is that, you know, we saw what happened within trading
when there isn't a lot of transparent information
or information is locked up
in centralized exchange experiences.
Users can really get hurt
or the market doesn't really understand what should happen.
And so that's why I think Decibel,
a fully on-chain decentralized exchange
is exactly the right bet.
And it's played with the blockchain that is suited for that.
And then you consider Shelby, right?
This year, what did we see?
We saw Azure, Microsoft Azure go down and AWS go down almost in consecutive months, right? cannot have these centralized entities controlling 70% of the websites and internet traffic and be
a single point of failure. It's unacceptable. And so now you have Shelby here, which is basically
all of the performance of centralized experiences, but with decentralized magic, right? Removing a
single point of failure, but also enabling to add web three layer of incentives
across applications that were sidelined by it.
And then on the foundation side,
I think I've been asked this question a lot, right?
It's kind of like, how far do we feel like we've come
in terms of building an ecosystem?
And I think the definition of an ecosystem
different depending on who you ask. I kind of summarize it from my perspective of, hey, do you
have an environment where founders, developers, community members can all interact and succeed in their own ways uniquely through your blockchain.
And we measure that like in a very specific way, right?
Because you always have to measure things to like be able to see how far you can get towards progress, right?
We looked at DeFi metrics and we said, how have people been looking at DeFi from a metric perspective
historically? Well, they've looked at TVL. But hey, you know what? That's a very passive metric.
You know, it's not something that shows you active capital flow, right? Or anything related
to demand side. And so we said, we want to focus on terraforming a DeFi ecosystem that starts to build the building blocks of trading.
And we've been excited to bring on so many new teams, whether it's Hyperion, TAP, Atala, obviously, trading venues, as well as different money markets, on to create an interesting DeFi ecosystem on Aptos that is forward-looking towards non-passive metrics.
I think the second thing that we looked at was, okay, what is the cleanest way to showcase the market?
How good of a technology Aptos is, right?
What is the cleanest way to do it that is the most broadest spanning way? And we thought
about our roots. And we said, clearly, it's going to be about stablecoins, right? Aptos is going to
be the most efficient path to take a dollar from point A to point B. And so we said, hey, let's
focus on stablecoin volume. This is ours to win. This is our DNA.
And so that was the second area where we focused.
And the third area where we wanted to focus was around founders and projects.
So startups coming to build on Aptos.
What verticals can they build in uniquely with Aptos?
How do they earn money? And how can they go to TGE?
And so these are the areas that we focused.
And I think when you look at the numbers in terms of what we were able to progress towards,
they all look good, right?
I think we were top 20th, but we reached the top 10 in spot daily volume. I think all of you saw that through the summer, us starting to really push on that.
And that was thanks to a lot of the new venues that were onboarded to Aptos, to trading venues, right? We launched with,
you know, more markets came to market, which I think just hit 5 million TVL organically,
right? As well as Aave, which has been a two-year running process, right? As well as Echelon
reaching all-time highs in terms of TVL.
When we look at stablecoin volume, I think we're in the $100 billion per month range,
right? And you consider that is mostly organic by opening up different distribution arms because power users know that the better rails to pass a stablecoin for pay to point A to point B is
Aptos. It's just a no-brainer.
When you have the choice of Aptos, it's a no-brainer.
And when you see founders, what do you see?
Well, I think we've seen app revenues,
or let's say startups building on Aptos and recording revenue,
I think we're top 10, depending on some of the reporting when folks
like KJN and Stan and some of these other more revenue generating blockchain obscured companies
report, we're top 10 across all blockchains and app revenue, right? And then as far as TGE goes,
I think that's an area where we've had a lot of learnings, right? We've had a lot of learnings that TGEs are highly complicated,
especially in this market,
and are all kind of unique to the various companies
or projects or founders, you know, requirements
or like what they're accountable towards,
whether it be investors or the community.
And so we had a ton of learnings, but I think we've made tremendous progress
and there's still so much more room to go.
But I think 2025 was a pretty formative year.
Thank you for that roundup, Ash.
I think 2025 was very formative.
More than ever, I think the vision started becoming very clear
and we understand what we are going
into 2026 for. I look forward to seeing an aligned collaboration between the community
and the team and us just shipping everything that we are already prepared for in 2026.
But yes, one of those things we are really looking forward to is Shelby. And we have Pranav here to give us the rundown on his thoughts on Shelby for 2025
and what we should be expecting in 2026.
All right, I'm finally back.
And it was not the unk moment.
I was not able to unmute the button at all.
But people told me that if you're about 30, you're an unk by default.
Yes, we're both unks. We're both unks.
All right. So, Shelby, I think one, I want to extend first, before we dive into Shelby, I want to extend the point that Ash was making about Aptos and how the performance, the scalability,
the gas efficiency, how all of that shines through.
And Shelby is a prime example.
So I was at Breakpoint just last week.
And of course, with Solana Crowd,
and we have Shelby Solana SDK available.
And somebody asked me, like,
why not use Solana to coordinate
all of the Shelby workload?
And simply put, it's just not possible.
It's going to be super expensive.
It's going to be much slower.
And it's not going to scale for all the workload that we need.
And so I think that Shelby as a product that is built on Aptos is a very good kind of proof point.
How scalable the underlying coordination layer is, how scalable the underlying coordination layer is
and how scalable the underlying L1 is.
But yeah, going back to Shelby,
it's been a super exciting year.
Started there with just conceptualizing Shelby,
thinking about bringing one of the most
non-trivial infrastructure pieces to life.
I still remember our conversation with Jump Team,
where I said, hey guys, like at Meta,
where we rolled out the hot storage tier,
it took us about three years to stabilize.
And the Jump Team said, yep, it took us similar
on the Jump side as well.
So something that on the surface sounds
that it's a storage tier that is built for surveying.
It's extremely challenging technical kind of pursuit
because even in the centralized systems,
doing that at scale and doing that with high performance is a challenge.
Making it decentralized, aligning all the incentives,
making sure all the participants play nicely,
works seamlessly. All of that was very difficult. And for me, the moment of truth was when we put
DevNet, and then I uploaded a video on DevNet. And then on Explorer, there is a preview button.
I clicked on the preview, and the 4K video just started streaming without any delay.
And I immediately sent a message to the team.
Hey guys, is this coming from any kind of cache or this is actually coming from Shelby?
And they're like, no, this is actually streaming from Shelby.
So seeing that all come together in DevNet was the highlight for me.
And now we have DevNet integration with X. So any videos that you want, any media you want to share on Twitter,
just upload it on Shelby and then post the link on X.
And then let everybody see that decentralized storage can actually be high performance,
can actually scale, and can actually be incentive compatible.
So I think the highlight for me was
just seeing it all come together.
And we have an amazing roadmap.
At Breakpoint, we have made a bunch of connections.
People, there are four or five really large scale,
interesting project they can't wait
to get their hands on Shelby.
And we are following up this week as we speak.
So a lot of new project onboarding on Shelby,
a lot of network will be releasing testnet soon,
we'll be growing the network from there.
So Shelby's very well set up to have
an incredible 2026 starting
from testnet in Januaryuary to many more milestones
yeah and i'm super excited about shelby and on top that you added more excitement talking about
breakpoints and uh just takes me to my next question because from the announcement of shelby
you already announced partners and i think that was showing how prepared Shelby was for this
journey it's about to embark on. But what kind of application surprised you the most this
So there are some applications that we had expected, for example video streaming. We
expected that there is going to be a lot of demand
for content creation, content you can own.
We expected that there is going to be deep in projects
that are going to require a lot of data input and output
at high performance and cheap cost.
We are seeing good traction there.
The most, I wouldn't say surprising,
but the most interesting part is Shelby and AI.
And that intersection has something
very impactful implications.
So one thing that in fact,
we had not even thought about it
when we were building Shelby,
but once now that we have built it,
we realized that with Shelby,
we are the only storage tier,
forget centralized or decentralized.
Even if you think about any of the cloud storage,
they all are very much bound to a region.
If you go to AWS, you have to choose your region,
there are multiple regions across the globe.
because the underlying coordination layer is Aptos,
which is deployed globally,
we have what we can call a global data namespace.
and now GPUs are kind of available all over the globe.
People are trying to get their hands on GPUs.
And the really interesting problem now is that
how can you feed the data to the GPUs
And with all the egress costs,
all the regional namespaces,
the clouds are extremely limiting.
And for Shelby to be this global namespace
and potentially this global AI data fabric
that can move lots of data around and bring data to our GPU really, really fast at scale,
I think that is the most exciting prospect that we are now actively working on and
having conversations with lots of partners.
So for me, that was the most kind of, you know,
it was a bit of a surprise and now most exciting thing to look forward to in 2026.
Thank you so much for that round though, Pranav.
I must say what Shelby is already achieving,
I wouldn't even say looking to achieve is very ambitious and it just makes me excited
for what is to come from aptos and it shows for the longest time snazzy used to say this comment
of things only possible on aptos and yes when we talk about that shelby is only possible on aptos
exciting to have something as amazing as that to ship next year so 1026 already looking exciting
but another group doing something i would say insanely ambitious because the numbers you guys
are beginning to call on um on aptos mainnet i'm talking about putting this to work with trades and everything DeFi, Decibel.
I think it's just amazing.
Kent, how has 2025 been for Decibel?
We've had the testnet announcements.
I think there's more to give us feedback on here.
So Kent, how has the experience 2025 been for you from Decibel?
Hello, and thanks. Thanks for the intro. Yeah, I think I was on here maybe a couple weeks ago,
so I'll keep it maybe shorter than a few other people, but excited to be on here as always.
I think Decibel in 2025 has been a crazy ride. As we saw testnet you know in the last few months uh has been
been great for us we've seen a ton of traction just on testnet trades as well as people developing
on it there's been a ton of feedback and it's been pretty exciting to see kind of it working
somewhat smoothly uh and that that happened very quickly uh from us shipping Testnet and having some issues to a couple weeks later, not having issues weekly or daily even.
And the amount of traffic we've been getting on both on people like creating these experiences as well as just real traders trading has been really cool to see.
I'm really excited to see what that means when we actually have real trading enabled with real money on main
next year and so i think it's looking back and thinking back to when we started decibel
just earlier this year i think it's been a crazy ride of really given getting everyone
on this decibel team like really focused and and driving really hard to ship kind of what's not been seen before on the no trade-offs
on having centralized pieces and these critical pieces like sequencers off-chain and centralized
and putting everything critical on-chain in less than a year is really incredible to see,
and especially the amount of performance we're getting. While at the same time, as you mentioned,
seeing block times go down to under 50 milliseconds,
I see all these things coming together early next year
to ship and ship an experience
that we haven't seen anywhere else,
and really putting all of the work
that we've put into Aptis infrastructure
to be used for a real kind of impressive product experience.
Excited about kind of what we've been able to accomplish so far with Testnet.
And we will see very soon what this means for Mainnet and even farther beyond.
And I guess I'll also add on to this.
I think Decibel is even a first step into this. There's a bunch of core pieces on the order book
and all these things that we're talking about with builder codes
to where us shipping mainnet is a huge first step,
but just a first step in the world where these things can be really built upon
and it's really going to change kind of what Aptos is about
and showcase what Aptos is about as well.
So I think that's my 2025 as well as looking forward to 2026.
And I've been lucky enough to speak with Kent and just all the amazing ideas and the amazing new, would I say, products that are coming out alongside Decibel.
would I say products that are coming out alongside Decibel.
I think one of the most beautiful thing is watching these two products collaborate with other builders
on how this infrastructure can assist them to build on top.
And seeing a lot of people already build on top Decibel
and start talking about their products and the amazing things they are going to create on top of this
is already exciting to see.
I'm glad we already have some big names lined up for Shelby amazing things they are going to create on top of this is already exciting to see.
I'm glad we already have some big names lined up for Shelby and everything looks primed
Thank you guys so much for coming.
We've had our talk with the Aptos Labs team.
We are going to be speaking to Petra next and I think Akasha is here to speak to us
GM Akasha I think this is the first time
I'm going to be speaking to Petra
sorry I'm going to be speaking to you
not Petra speaking to Akasha
How has the year 2025 been for Petra?
Well, I'm going to do my best to speak to them,
but I was just here to support Pranav,
so I'm focused on Shelby as well, actually.
So, Baba, maybe I can fill in for Akasha
since I'm working with the Petra team.
Does that sound good to you?
I mean, yeah, assuming that these are the same questions that you've been asking to Pernabha and Kenz,
I guess on the Petra side, we kind of take a different approach going into maybe like Q4 of this year,
where we really position ourselves as a true entry point to the AppToss ecosystem.
Our goal as a product isn't really to just be a boring traditional wallet itself,
but really to move beyond our comfort zone
by actively engaging with AppTosch projects and end users,
and ultimately building the experiences
that made discovering and using the ecosystem
feel as seamless and compelling as possible.
And reflecting on some of these activation events
that we have done with different partners.
I would say one specific moment that I can recall
is most recently to commemorate the launch of USD1.
We ran a campaign where we set up a gas station
to cover transaction fees for sending
and also swapping into the USD1 tokens.
Yes, GAS on Aptos Network is already super cheap,
but the goal here was to really test
whether the simple but powerful concept of free
could be better capture user attention
if it's actually driving the increased usage
among existing users and ultimately
attracting the users outside the AdPause ecosystem who might want to natively bridge into our wallet.
And as a result, a couple of metrics that really speaks for itself. We have seen the USD1 weekly addresses for sending increasing
as well as the transaction count increasing,
coming close to 170%, right?
For swapping in features, we saw the weekly addresses
increasing by almost 200% and so on.
And how much really did it cost us, right?
And it only costs us 0.6 APT to do it.
And the key takeaway here is
there are a lot more meaningful opportunities out there
for us to really leverage partnerships
within our existing ecosystem
to create these strong synergies
in a way that it's with minimal input, but with greater impact.
So obviously going into next year, we're really excited to continue sharing more examples like this alongside some of the other technical strides that we'll be delivering.
Thank you for that roundup, Richard.
One amazing thing I saw from Petra this year was the rebrand.
I didn't expect the rebrand and I think now the rebrand has grown on me because I've gotten
really used to this new color and this new interface. What do you have to say about the
rebrand? What do you personally think about it and how has the reception been
from your point of view yeah i mean rebrand was done in a way that we can really provide
the unified experience across all three surfaces right across uh petra web which is formerly known
as aptos connect as well as existing interfaces like the extension of mobile.
And in terms of the feedback that we've been gathering
from our power users and some of the comments
that we've been seeing on tweets and so on,
it's been pretty receptive, right?
But obviously there's a lot more work that needs to be done.
Not just from the standpoint of keeping the parity level
pretty standardized across all three services,
but also having the compliance matters
to be sorted out as well.
For instance, now that we have absorbed App Plus Connect
as being Petra Web, this only comes with, you know,
creating the wallet accounts
using the keyless account features,
which means the account is being created in a way that the users can log in with Google and Apple,
but they don't have any recovery methods to potentially import the wallets into other interfaces.
So we really have more attention to that,
where now we are having a recovery method
of providing them with a manual backup key
of creating the 16 key seed phrase
for them to import into the extension and mobile
as well as supporting a better DAB Explorer page
So in a way that across all three interfaces,
users really get the same feel and yeah,
they just get like the most seamless experiences
that is compelling to them.
And I guess like, yeah, sorry, cut you off.
Yeah, no, I mean, you can go on and on,
but it's amazing the work that you all have done at Petra.
And I must say Petra web previously Aptos Connect
has been a groundbreaking unlock that you created
for the Aptos ecosystem, talking about the ease of onboarding,
especially for protocols that are building on-air.
I personally work very closely with Flick,
and I can say that Aptos Connect, now PetraWeb,
has been a very useful instrument in onboarding of users.
It's a very quick entry, and I've seen this at work.
And honestly, I don't think I would ever go back
to asking people to write down seed phrases.
No, no, I agree, I agree.
So obviously, you know, manually generating your 16 keyword
phase and, you know, storing it somewhere else
to manually write down like one word by one word
a very trivial, tedious process, but something that we're just having as like a manual backup, just in case if something were to happen and, you know, your email might have expired and you
might not be able to log in with the email that you might have remembered.
Yeah, thank you so much for that, Richard, and all of the Aptos Lab team. I think you guys have given us an amazing opening to the Aptos 2025 Christmas special.
And we'll be moving on to real-world assets.
As we know, 2025 has been a groundbreaking year for real-world assets in the whole of the crypto space.
Regulations are easing, adoption is increasing increasing and now we are seeing more openness
from countries as well as people talking about reserves i think it has been beautiful to watch
across board and more than ever the space is being respected we have packed and fleek up here with us
they're going to be talking about real worldworld assets here on Aptos and their experiences with it down in 2025 and what they are looking forward to in 2026.
So I am not sure, but we might be having Solomon behind the Pact account.
No, sorry, not Solomon behind the Pact account.
We have Pact up here, but we're expecting Solomon as well.
But questions to Pact quickly?
GM, GM Pact, how has 2025 been for you guys?
You announced so many milestones.
How has 2025 been for you guys?
And what are you looking forward to in 2026?
Always love these spaces and really appreciate being a part of it. And been really enjoying all the great discussion that's been going on here, all the alpha, huge shift in the trajectory and just the steps that
have been taken in the path that we're on now. I was thinking more about this when you had sent
these questions over, Baba, because it's like you had just mentioned there, we have, it's been such
a huge year for PACT. There are truly so many milestones to choose from. And it even sounds
cliche, like going down that route, but it's really the truth.
And when I was thinking back on it, I kind of was like thinking about it in a few different
ways, kind of from a ecosystem perspective, from a protocol perspective, and from a community
From a community perspective, I think one of the biggest milestones we had, aside from
the growth that we've had in our community, is launching the PACT Ambassador Program and going through actually a
reform. It was launched initially. We got some feedback back from the community, made a reform
and an adjustment to it, and it's been improved drastically since then. And it's been the core,
it's been the backbone of the PACT community. It's definitely
helped us streamline a lot of comms and messaging forward, get the word out, keep people in the know
and bring support to other people who are coming into the community. So being able to establish a
really strong core ambassador program for PACT was a huge milestone this year. And it's also something
that is truly just like everything here. And like for everyone else speaking, really the start of
it. This ambassador program is going to grow and continue to become an even larger part of PACT.
We just had an AMA with our CEO, Fabian, just this weekend on Saturday with the ambassadors,
which went great and had some
amazing feedback and amazing discussion and discussed how ambassadors and people part of
the PACT ecosystem and community are going to have the opportunity to be even more involved.
So that was an incredible community milestone. As far as it goes for protocol, I think what I look
at, because it would be crazy for me to get up here and not say a huge
milestone are the sum of the stats that we've done on Aftus mainnet, which is unbelievable.
And that'll feed into the next milestone, I think. But looking at over 1.9 billion loans
facilitated on chain, which is just an unbelievable number, an incredible achievement in Milestone. And again,
still feels like the beginning. It's important to give credit where credit's due. And I think
that number is worthy of that, but we're not done. It's not a satisfied number. It's a number to be
proud of, to be happy of, and a lot of hard work and a lot of good utility put in through the protocol running fully on chain end
to end, but we're not done there. But doing 1.9 billion in total loans facilitated on chain
is an incredible milestone that we were able to achieve this year. Looking back when we were
under 1.5, under a billion, 500 million, the growth has been unbelievable. And that's just the start.
It's just 2025. And we're going to keep going from here. When I think about ecosystem-wide,
like the biggest milestone of 2025, and I really had to go back, and it was in 2025, and honestly,
truly mean it, is the shift to Aptos and running Pack Protocol and Aptos Mainnet for so many
reasons. And if I were to break it down to two, for one, the community, Aptos community, hands down,
best in the game, best in Web3, best across the board when it comes to people like myself,
when it comes to larger ecosystem leaders like Ash and Avery we have up here,
people like Alex on the ecosystem side too, Angel, Sneezy, all these people who are part of this unbelievable community.
You, Baba, Yarn, I'm leaving so many people out, of course, but all of those people make up this unbelievable community that Pact is part of,
and that has excelled Pact Forward 100%, without question, in so many different ways. On top of that, if we're looking
at the actual tech, as we've been discussing in this space and others have pointed out,
PACT running on Aptos is an incredible achievement and milestone in making that shift.
Because just going back right there to talking about the stats and the productivity and
the partnerships that we've made, announced, and others that we will announce are due to
the efficiency, the power, the throughput, the capabilities that PACT is capable of.
And what is one of the biggest reasons PACT is capable of that? Because we run on Aptos Maynet.
So making that shift and making that transition for the protocol was an unbelievable achievement
and milestone that completely changed the trajectory of PACT in purely a positive way
and really opened up the doors for PACT and opened up the doors for people who are utilizing the protocol.
People who are utilizing PACT and utilizing private credit, on-chain credit,
thousands to millions of transactions a day, it requires a chain like Aptos that truly,
I believe no other chain could support a system that we need to provide to provide these financial
tools to people all across the world. It's truly a combined effort, but we couldn't do it without Aptos.
So making that transition was, I think, the biggest achievement and milestone of the year
because the other achievements and milestones I mentioned before that, they don't happen.
They don't occur without that transition.
Yo, Brazy, you put it down i think that was
very well said thank you so much for that and i mean just watching the success of pact and
especially having a project like packed on aptos being powered by aptos is so amazing this year we
saw a lot of things that proved only possible on aptos thanks to you
guys for showing what real world assets can be with the power of the aptos blockchain behind it
we have solomon up here and i'm excited to have solomon in here as well because um solomon leading
business on aptos has just been beautiful to watch. A really amazing mind.
I got a chance to speak to him at the Aptos experience.
And since then, I've been so in awe of this individual.
But yeah, Solomon, looking at Aptos and looking at the Web3 space as a whole,
what real-world use cases do you think proved that real world assets isn't just
the narrative this year? I really appreciate the kind words and happy to be here with the
community and the partners. And there's nothing more powerful than a testimonial from PACT. So
it's a hard act to follow. But really, just to answer your question, over the last year, we really kind of played
out the global trading engine narrative that Avery put forth into the market where we were
heavily focused on trading money movement and data.
And with that, specifically within real world assets, actual real use cases that are solving
real problems as of what we've been focused on that can actually scale. And so PAC's a perfect example of that, naturally focusing on microfinancing, providing
capital in emerging markets where they otherwise would have very limited access to capital. So it
has a great, great narrative and it's solving a real problem. And so just to answer your question
and expand upon the use cases that we're most bullish on, it's really on the money movement side, it's going to be remittance, microfinancing, cross-border
transactions between B2B players. On the real world asset side, it's diversification on chain.
So right now, as we all know, really private credit and money market funds have been really
driving the narrative. That's really the starting point and that's a huge market in itself. But we're looking to also offer commodities on-chain, exposure to public equity on-chain,
and more esoteric assets in the private space, like private equity on-chain for pre-IPO companies.
We really want to make sure that if someone wants to put their capital to work,
that they don't need to take their capital off-chain in order to gain access to different asset classes.
Right now, a lot of the money movement, the capital formation is heavily driven by trading.
But at some point, people are going to look for diversification on chain,
whether it be to build out a proper portfolio or to get access to yield.
And we want to be the place in which they could put that capital to work.
Because I think about this and from a statement ash made in the past it
was talking about how after people maybe make money on chain they usually have to pull this
money out for it to be of value to them and everything that they eventually use this to get
value from when we talk about e-commerce on just their daily day-to-day needs payments that
needs to be made everything is possible to be powered by the blockchain it's possible to be
powered by aptos so i look forward to us getting to that point where people don't only come to the
blockchain for opportunity but come to the blockchain to power their daily financial needs
so thank you so much for that, Solomon.
We also have Flick here, but somehow Flick dropped off.
Hopefully we'll be able to get them all back in time.
But while we wait for that,
what particular area in real-world assets
are you most excited for next year, 2026, Solomon?
So I think really it's going to be assets that are
already liquid that are being put on chain that will be the starting point because naturally
building liquidity for very very esoteric assets is quite difficult takes a long time i came from
a previous firm that focused on rwas and providing secondary liquidity for RWAs.
And so you'll see that that's why a lot of players across the ecosystem have started with money market funds
that are basically holding treasury bills and cash in cash equivalent, and in some cases, private credit.
And now they're moving into the public equity because they know it's already the underlying assets are already liquid.
equity because they know it's already the underlying assets are already liquid and they're
simply providing that connectivity to on-chain capital by providing tokenized positions within
these particular asset classes. So I think you've seen the work that, for example, our friends at
Kraken with their X-Stock initiatives, you see the work that Ondo Finance is doing and our friends
over there. I think this will be a continued theme through the first half of next year and we plan on
definitely having a seat at the table with these partners. But then from there,
I am excited to offer more unique assets that typically have a lot of friction when you
transfer those particular positions, and those mostly are in the private market space. And the
private markets is multiple times bigger than the public markets. So really looking to tackle that in a
very thoughtful manner in terms of which asset classes we decide to support. Thank you for that
roundup, Solomon. I think it was really exciting seeing the breakdown of real world assets from
you and Pact Onye. Amazing stuff has really happened and I'm already looking forward to
2026. We have Flick coming up uh let me try get them but
after flick we'll be having the aptos community also come up here and give us their roundup for
2025 as we continue the aptos christmas special thank you guys so i'm just going to play some a
bit more of our christmas music as we get ready for the next round of the afters christmas
special Oh, I just want to. oh
i want for christmas is you guys every day every day yeah we have flick up here with us
and flick really took the prediction markets by storm because flick brought something really
special something very dear to my heart
because when flick spoke about opinion trading they said we didn't just want opinion trading
to be something we fully controlled it's important that if we talk about people's opinion
real people put out this opinion and flick created something where creators from every region in the world created markets that they really cared about, they believed in and impacted them directly.
We have creators from all over the world, India, Nigeria, and every other continent that you would think of.
And it's just beautiful to see what they've come up with so far.
GM GM Flick, our has 2025 been for you?
GM GM Baba, it's been a while since we've been on space
and also hi to everybody.
Also, I love the fact you said people have, you know,
there are creators from all over the world
and you just named Nigeria and India.
Just for the record, in India we're geo-blogged, okay?
So before we get into any trouble.
And in fairness, we gather been doing modestly fine.
Of course, we can't compare to the likes of Kalshi and Pauly Market,
how they're really blowing up in the US.
However, on the entire side of what we're trying to do
and how to localize and personalize markets,
it's been going pretty well for us in that way.
And I don't know, Baba, if you had more questions,
but very happy to give a wrap up on what's happening on Flake
and what's keeping us up at night and what's the fun part for the community.
And also the kind of questions which Baba is very passionate about,
they mostly revolve around gossip.
Yes, Bob, please feel free to go ahead so uh firstly i know a lot of you guys a lot of the creators here are here so thank you so much for
being on flick creating markets and we are very proud or happy to say that our biggest
accomplishment i'll come to the stats later,
has been that few of the traders and creators who've been on Flick, they've already earned
over $25,000. We've been now live, this is our beginning of the fourth month. A couple of our
traders also who used to bet before, now they're trading, which means they can manage their own
risk. They've also started their
own businesses, bought laptops, which is phenomenal. So seeing in real time how something you built is
impacting people in their day to day and allowing them to really, you know, do better in life is
extremely beautiful. On the stat side of things, we have Dow crossed like very organically about
$22 million in trading, which is quite small if you compare with a lot of projects. But
considering it's completely been organic, it's been sticky with about 60% retention rate and also
about 90% of all the people trading on Flick come from Web 2. They do not come from Web 3 at all.
It's been a phenomenal progress and success.
We have over 100 creators creating markets on Flick
and over 400 in applications, which we've still not passed through.
We are trying to completely create Flick to be permissionless.
We've already started taking the initial steps
wherein now creators can inevitably come,
create market, they don't need approval all the time.
They can add their own liquidity.
So basically almost there can be a market on anything
unless it's hatred or anything
which can negatively impact someone else.
What's beautiful about seeing different people creating markets on things they care about
or their community cares about is the idea that we have set different data points.
And currently, we are quite focused.
We have made our home in Nigeria, I think.
And most of the people who are coming
from the country, they've had very varied expertise, but particularly focusing or doubling
down on football. I know I'm going on almost a monologue, but I would like to share something
that how did we get our first user, our first creator on flick which has been a grand
success story after that we've had quite a few of them who've been really big so thanks baba i think
baba berry was your friend who's actually a betting punter who has about 150 000 or 200 000
followers and she would basically recommend people.
In Nigeria, betting and gambling is a very fair way to earn money.
And she would recommend to people what to bet on Betano, Bet365,
and all the other betting apps.
And from there, I think Baba recommended her flick,
and she realized that she already has all the knowledge of football and she started creating markets, right?
And organically, all her followers, they started coming on flick.
It's not been the easiest journey because these people don't know what Web3 is.
They don't know what a wallet is.
They do know how betting works.
So it has been those times we've seen from the beginning
where these guys started trading.
We used to give them credits to trade,
but which they could not withdraw.
Otherwise, they could withdraw only their profits.
And them figuring out how to put in more money,
you know, using ByBit B2B,
explaining to them what Aptos,
explaining to them, like, what Aptos Connect is,
you know, asking them to put in the money there.
And with that, we have now reached almost 8,000 traders.
And none of these are bots, by the way.
They're real human beings who complain, cry, and argue with us every day.
And, yeah, and we've also launched two partnerships one is with a company called
digibet which is a betting aggregator and they use azuro as one of the liquidity pools on base
by the way so not only is flick working across people in countries, but also across chains.
And the other is Stan, which, of course, is a star child,
and we've heard the name mentioned quite a lot of times.
So with Stan, with over 30 million users,
they have integrated Flick within their app
because, of course, they have a very strong user base,
but also a gaming community.
And now that we're leading towards New Year's,
we are expected to be announcing around five more partnerships with stronger partners, which are not just marketing,
And yeah, we're scaling slowly, steadily.
And thank you for all those people who believed in us
and who continue to do, you know, support us.
I don't know if you have any more questions for me.
Also, I'm down on energy.
It's 10.30 p.m. on a Tuesday.
Thank you so much, Tavi, for that roundup.
Big on a community that complains, cries and argues.
I mean, how would you know they are real people if they don't do all these things?
But yes, that's the beauty of it.
Being able to impact these people's lives and watch that happen.
It has been beautiful to see how average Nigerians have been able to see value in Flick and now come to understand it.
It has been the introduction to Web3, and I think that's been the most beautiful part of working closely with Flick for me myself.
I'm just watching how people that have never understood what a blockchain is,
or even had a wallet or a centralized exchange at all,
immediately gets into Flick and starts making use of the opportunities.
I think PetraWeb was a big instrument in making that happen.
So, yeah, beautiful to see everyone.
We are calling Aptos Connect Petra Web now, right?
Big shout out to Petra Web.
We'll be moving on to community.
Thank you guys so much for coming in on the Reward Assets section.
solomon packed and flick up here you guys are doing amazing in every way and make real world
assets already look exciting for 2026 year on aptos so we can't talk about the aptos community
without talking about the aptos collective shout out Angel, Sneezy, and everybody else that works together
in that team because you guys have made the community really, really proud this year. I
would say one of the best things of this year is better seeing documentation and regular
organized campaigns towards the community. I think more than ever, especially comparing to last year,
we saw a lot of that. Collaborations with projects out of the Aptos ecosystem and the Aptos
collective was a thing. It was a thing all through 2025. But yeah, without putting words in your mouth, I don't know who is behind the Aptos Collective account, but how has 2025 been for the Aptos Collective?
Anybody is allowed to speak.
Hey, can you hear me, Abba?
No, well, first of all, thank you for having this excellent space.
It's a running tradition now with Spooks Lab hosting these Aptos spaces,
I think it's been a great year for Aptos as a whole
and the Aptos community and collective in terms of the projects
that have been birthed this year.
For example, we have Decibel and Shelby that were announced,
and I think those are great strides towards advancing
the Aptos mission of onboarding the next billion people to Web3. So those are some of the more
defining moments for me. And when it comes to the collective, we've had two intakes this year.
We've added well over 70, 80 members to the collective. We've had thousands of applications.
At one point for one intake, had 8 000 applications and uh and yeah
it was just uh quite a bit of work to sift through them and and see who the most dedicated members
were um we've also conducted dozens of campaigns as well as amas with ecosystem projects we have
the collective chill sessions every monday for the collective which which allow Aptos team members to come on in,
you know, whether they're doing a focus on ecosystem or grants, et cetera. We just had
a new year, for example, this past Monday, and it's just a great space to get the Aptos team
to chat with the collective and for the collective to ask questions about what's going on of course
the collective wouldn't be what it is without alex who's an aptos collective manager so a big
shout out to alex and all the work that he has done when it comes to propelling the aptos collective
forward uh when it comes to campaigns and the support overall that he provides so a big shout
out to alex and and everyone else as well sneeezy, big shout out to Sneezy who,
we joined the team earlier this year,
but he's a long time community member and he has been very dedicated to
supporting Aptos, whether it's at events or online or IRL and,
and hosting the AMAs with myself and Alex. And of course,
shout out to our leader, our head of community Pawn
for everything she does, for the direction she provides and the experience that she has given us
to basically move forward and do the best we can when it comes to the collective and the community.
So a big shout out to everyone and of course Jaycee, our operations lead uh who has uh recently joined and has uh has been
very dedicated towards assisting the aptos uh team and then collective with uh everything uh that we
do so big shout out to everyone that's involved with that big shout out to all the collective
members and for all they do every single day and again thank you for having the space uh baba and
spooks labs thank you so much aptos collective Baba and Spooks Labs. Thank you so much, Aptos Collective, Angel, for speaking behind that mic.
I think it has been an exciting year for the Aptos Collective.
There's so much work already being done and so much more work to be done.
I would like to pass the mic to our head of community for one year to continue this conversation
and maybe tell us a bit about what we should be expecting for 2026.
And that was pretty funny, doxing the collective account.
I mean, it is a shared account for the team to chip in power of decentralization.
We all highlight like, hey, let's make sure this member in a certain
region is featured and so on. But generally, the main person's angel. So great, great to hear you
and have him speak and share some of his experience. Also great to see a lot of our
community members, also MindsDAO, like our community, I think what was really cool this year is they formed their own communities within a community.
So MindsDAO is, you know, a brainchild of a few OGs and new people to support creators.
And something I was really proud of from the Aptos team was supporting creators.
the Aptos team was supporting creators.
We were able to distribute grants,
some of them to MindsDow,
and really empower them to devise their own campaigns
and creative ways to onboard more people to Aptos
I believe, I don't know if Ghost is in the audience.
I'm sure if you're in the Aptos community or Decibel,
And he's someone that came through and was able to get some additional support and guidance from
MindsDAO. So I guess maybe to address, Baba, one of your questions of things that were really,
that really stood out from this week, because every week feels like a year. The question was about a year.
I think the grants and seeing many communities form
within ours to support the new launches
is something I'm really grateful and thankful for.
Thank you for that, Poon.
And would you be able to speak to anything
we should be expecting in 2026?
Yeah, I mean, building off of 2025,
something I also noticed was some really great IRL activations.
So I see Benjamin representing Aptos Africa.
There were so many great events and collective members that chipped in.
Or Stan, if he's around from the Vietnamese community.
He just actually posted a really awesome meetup with Decibel.
And I think if Guzma from Indonesia and Harry, he, fun fact, is also a professional videographer.
So a lot of those fire videos that folks have seen from the Indonesian community actually come straight from him. I know, community has multiple talents,
and I love to see it on the timeline. So he also had a bunch of events in Bali,
Dalek and Neshe representing Turkey, they've done some things. And of course, we had Global
People Fly into Aptos Experience. So building off of that and how much great in-person energy there was, even, oh, is Sergei
He was doing interviews with Solomon, Ash, I think Avery as well, recently.
We were able to, I know he was giving some shout outs to that, again, the foundation
for a grant to go represent the
Aptos community at some conferences so that was really wonderful and I would love to see more of
that in 2026. Really leveraging this reach that we have in so many different places around the globe
and empowering those community members that want to roll up their sleeves, you know, even before any
kind of grant or support funding, they just want to do it because they're excited around the Aptos
roadmap and what's happening. They felt very welcomed by the community and they just want
to start creating. So hope to see a lot more of that happening all around the world in 2026.
Thank you so much for that, Porn. And shout out to sergey as well he has been doing an
amazing job documenting his experience from every event i think that has been beautiful to see uh
probably we are going to pin one of his uh tweets on here for anybody that would like to catch up on
some of the amazing things aptos has been doing at these events sergey does a great job of
documenting those but up here with us we also have sneezy and i think thisos has been doing at these events. Sergey does a great job of documenting those.
But up here with us, we also have Sneezy.
And I think this year has been a roller coaster.
Because when we talk about the connection between the community and the foundation,
I think this year Sneezy kind of became that bridge.
Coming into working with the Aptos team
from the side of the community has been really
exciting to watch and knowing that we have someone that has all the same uh experiences as the regular
community member now looking at in the ir ups and able to communicate and relate with him has been
beautiful um sneezy gmg, how has 2025 been for you?
Yo, GM, shout out to all my friends and family,
both in the speakers and in the listeners.
two years in a row at the
Yeah, dude, rollercoaster's putting it
Dude, it's hard to put into words.
Like literally this time last year when we were doing this space, I was just a community partaker, the same as everybody else.
And getting an opportunity and the responsibility to champion for the community has been nothing short of an honor. I've gotten to travel
to New York a couple times, to Toronto to help represent the community on the ground,
and I think those would probably be my highlights, just getting to be the representation of
everybody here listening on the ground. And thank you to the community and to the foundation for thinking that I should be
someone doing this. But in terms of like highlights of what we've been able to do, like Angel mentioned
a lot of it with the collective, the collective chills, bringing in one-on-one access with so
many key players in the ecosystem, both on the foundation and labs teams,
on projects, ecosystem AMAs,
just really trying to full port that conduit.
Like, I'm not big enough.
We need the whole collective to be that full porting
of community to foundation
and foundation back to the community.
Do you know one of my highlights this year is getting to give you a big org?
I still remember when you walked in,
me and Brady were running around like chickens with our heads cut off
And then just like that epic moment.
It was like a reuniting, even though it was the first time we ever met yeah dude special yeah i remember i remember getting to catch up with brent and
brent kept saying i think sneezy too said the same thing sneezy kept saying i feel like i'm on his
peace like i'm looking at you i can see the words coming out of your mouth but it feels like deja
vu and honestly i felt like i've known you guys my whole life i think um and
even the reception from you guys was just so beautiful i spent a few days living with brent
many people might not know this but i lived with brent after the after sex experience and i had the
most exciting time i spent time with sneezy with serbi as well shout out to porn because a lot of this was
possible due to all the amazing things porn has done with the collective so yeah i'm a speaking
testament to that to the amazing work that has been done by the afters collective and i yeah
yeah uh it's beautiful to see all the support i get from the ecosystem as a whole. We have MindsDow up here and I think MindsDow did something
really great for the community this year. MindsDow give birth to a lot of creators. When we talk about
creators on Aptos, I know several people that refined their art because of the amount of work
and organization MindsDow put to supporting creators and everybody just wanted
to be better. Is it because of the campaigns? Is it because of the encouragement or working
together with other creators? I do not know how Mindstyle did it, but we have them up
here. Mindstyle, GM, GM, Hours 2025 for you.
Yo, AM everyone. It's great to be here. Shout out to the team for holding it down.
I mean, it's been a fantastic year for Aptos. TTV speaking, by the way, a backstory. Shout
out to the legends that did have this whole idea of bringing minds down to life. It shouldn't have been done without Kantian,
as well as other council members at Mindstyle.
So Mindstyle actually started out as Crypto's DAO
before the whole name changed.
And it just did show how individuals,
members of the community can actually look at a way to grow together, not just sidelining activities individuals are doing.
So Mindstyle came up as a distribution layer for creators because one thing that creators really find difficult in doing has got to be having a particular place that your content is being
distributed. I mean, you can spend hours creating content and you might not necessarily get the
right interactions, but when you have a dedicated page set to distribute the creators post content,
it goes a long way for creators.
Then the whole grant, I mean, it wouldn't have been possible without
partner ecosystem project.
Kofi did a campaign with Mindstyle, Aptos Foundation did partner with
Mindstyle to help creators create content around Aptos DeFi, receive
content around aptos defy receive um receive opportunities and lots more so shout out to
everybody who has been a part of this we couldn't have done this without the community actively
shipping amazing content on after so it's it's been a fantastic year and definitely more to come
in 2026 so shout out to the council, Santi, the guy with style,
Thank you so much, Mindsdow.
TTV gave a shout out to himself.
I think that's a new one.
that we see all these amazing creators grow from minds now i think it's really beautiful especially
just looking at ctv and the quality of content ctv has continued to put out as in you can see it gets
better and better by the day as in just watching ttv um do all the amazing things he does
on in the after space has been uh really exciting for me and the consistency man i see the amount
of work you put into like remaining because consistent i remember there was a time i had a
conversation with him and was in the middle of exams and um even with the stress of nigerian exams he still found time
to put out his contents regularly so shout out to uttv we see you we see the efforts
up here we also have a person i met a person in new york and the first time i met a person was at
the afters after party and it was beautiful because i got to party with a person
and um if i seen filled with so much love and light um i want you guys to know that he doesn't
just do that online he actually embodies what he says if i seen gmgm i was 2025 for you
ah good morning uh it was it was a fun one. I got to watch a lot of interesting things, but
one of the highlights I'd say this year was just being part of Aptos, like experiencing the
experience was awesome. I went to Toronto, got to sit at some table and eat some dinners with
some awesome people. Ash was one of them, got to just tell people a little bit about like my story
and where I was from and kind of what really led me to Aptos.
And what really led me here ultimately was basically Sneezy.
He kept telling me to come over here and come over here.
And I've been over here a few years now.
But he kept telling me to come experience the community because that's what's important to me.
Like it's always been something that I've been passionate about was connecting people with each other for that
reason alone with no benefit other than finding two people that want to connect with each other
and connecting them. Um, it's, it's super rewarding. Um, it's happened many times in
this space for me. Uh, I've watched it happened so many times. Um, the important thing to remember
is that like, no matter what the days look like, the community's strength is needed always.
But the real people, there's a lot of amazing people that work for Aptos.
There's a lot of amazing people that that's their 9 to 5.
But there's also a lot of amazing people that are out here that this isn't their 9 to 5.
We do this because we love this. we do this because we love this.
We do this because we enjoy this.
And so I'm happy and grateful to meet all those people who really see the benefit of community for community.
Not for any other reason than that.
There's a lot of stuff I would talk about today.
But I just want to say that
I love and respect everybody.
I hope everybody has a safe holiday.
Uh, and I hope 2026 really doubles down on community.
Um, because I feel like the tech is there.
Everything is in lockdown mode right now.
Um, we just need the community a little bit stronger.
You, my friend are an amazing
individual when you talk about energy dude it's you uh you've been here every tuesday for as long
as i've been here uh as long as i can remember uh and i love your space i will never miss it uh i
will set time aside for it because what you're doing is important as a community member as a
member of the collective and just as an awesome, amazing individual who believes, like I believe, we understand that we need to be here
for each other for more reasons than one. But the most important reason is to be here for each other,
to be here for each other. No amount of money is going to ever fill those voids. I love Aptos
because of the people. It is fast it is the best technology it's a
lot of amazing things but the people that i've met on aptos is while i always remain on aptos
i love this place because of people like you thank you so much for that person like i said
he doesn't just say this thing if i seen embodies it um sneezy used to joke about the times when like the market was really really bad and um
on spaces there would be four people there will be me yeah a person and sneezy and we'll just
hear upon about what we see going on in the after space um what we think the opportunities are
and i'm happy that pushing through those days,
we're able to make Spookspaces a thing.
I'm talking about the support that I've received from community.
I need to go back and talk about App 3 once again,
because App 3 wouldn't have gotten the amount of reach,
the amount of milestones that we've been able to cover, if not because of the community.
We have several people now that have celebrated a 100-day-plus streak on App3.
I mean, these people have turned up on a daily basis for 100 days straight,
contributing to the AppTorce ecosystem, contributing contributing to Aptos DeFi through App3.
And it has been amazing to watch.
We've been able to have more than, we are getting very close to 10,000 seeds planted.
And it has been just because of the support you guys are putting from day one, even before
the launch of App3, each and every one of you was really supportive of the project.
Each and every one of you was really supportive of the project.
We've crossed 2 million plus activities now, and we've just been live for four months.
And this makes me super excited about what is going to come in 2026.
The momentum has been amazing.
We are just getting started.
I want you guys to know that App 3 is not done shipping.
More and more things are going to be coming in 2026.
So if you have your seeds planted, if you've been watering daily, I'm telling you to stay tuned.
Thank you guys so much for everything you've done for App3 and for myself.
Shout out to the community and to every partner that app3 has to date i see a lot
of you guys in the audience amnes echelon uh eris i mean so many so many projects i can just go on
and on to mention move makers as in when we don't even talk about projects as well the whole ecosystem
has been super supportive and yeah that is what it's been about.
So up next, we are going to be speaking
I believe we are going to have Naresh, Corey, and Noya.
So thank you all for coming for the community session.
I'm going to be playing some
more of our christmas music as we move on to the aptos ecosystem I'm gonna keep on playing Oh, my man, this one's gone
I'm gonna make a list of ten
To the north pole for sending
Oh, I won't even stray away to
Because I just want you here tonight
Oh, my God, this of night What more can I do? Oh It's like learning to ride me everywhere.
It won't stop until there's a love that fills the air.
And if we want it to be, I can't go stand by feet. I can't go stand by feet.
I can't go stand by feet.
I can't go stand by feet.
If I want to go on to life, I can't go. Oh oh
nice we have korea and naresh up here thank you guys so much for coming in early. I think looking at the side
of ecosystem, so much happened.
We are also expecting Anuya to
come in and talk about the Aptos Assembly.
that we already have Naresh on here
because even from his end, I know
Naresh put in so much work
to get us the move clubs.
just glad to be speaking to you
but Naresh from your point of view GM GM how was 2025 for the Aptos ecosystem
you know been been on this space for about an hour yeah amazing job and very happy to be here this is my first aptos christmas special so uh you know just glad uh
2025 amazing year man um i had you know different uh roles that i was able to do uh very fortunate
to be working with amazing talented people and in an ecosystem that that thriving on all the numbers that Ash earlier spoke about.
So we started with India. We've been building that for about three years now, a lot of depth
in the market. From a student standpoint, we had about about 20 boot camps uh five hackathons around
the region uh to onboard you know about a thousand developers uh doing open source contributions on
aptos um we had you know ecosystem teams in india raised about 25 plus million dollars
um we did the india accelerator uh with hash emergent i think that was one of the
one of a kind um i've looked at you know the episodes i can't wait to launch them um you know
they're coming very very soon and um we had you know sri lakshmi came in uh in the second half of
the year uh she ramped up a lot of amazing work at Winter School.
And then we wrapped up the year with IBW 2025.
We had about 2,000 people attend the Aptos zone at IBW, where nine plus ecosystem teams from India got a lot of exposure.
And this also, you know, during this time, we also started to experiment a lot and made
amazing strides with our partners in China with Movemaker, Moveclub Vietnam with Alpha Team and
you know end of the year launching at DevConnect, Moveclub LatAm. A lot of learnings for us and, you know,
ideas on what matters to drive regional growth.
It's, you know, strategic decision
on the broader Aptos Foundation and Aptos Lab side,
combining with all the amazing things
that the technology team is doing,
that the ecosystem is doing to bring teams.
How do we continue to drive engagement,
drive talent into the Aptos ecosystem
from a regional standpoint?
We already see some of these things happening
and these are early indications
that this model truly works.
We launched Assembly, and a lot of teams in Assembly
come from these move clubs that we've launched.
Amazing teams launching solid products,
filling up ecosystem gaps.
From Movemaker, we saw Hyperion, Goblin.
They launched tokens, doing an amazing job.
And just the amount of sheer ecosystem events that we did regionally,
just to bring people closer together and also get them Aptos built in some way.
So all in all, such a packed year and very, very excited about 2026.
Yeah, and I'm very excited as well
i think closing 2025 with the organization of the move clubs adding a new region in latam
and already seen amazing work done from the latam region makes me excited about 2026
um just looking at the move clubs and how the channel has been created
working with aptos assembly makes me excited about the support that these builders are receiving
i would like to pass the mic to kori now to maybe talk to us about 2025 from his own perspective
and what we should be looking forward to in 2026. Corey, you have the mic.
So first off, I just want to say that I wish I could be with you guys in person so we could grab a beer.
I know the last session really got me pumped up.
And it's also a good reminder of why we're here.
I think it's the people that make this different and special.
So just quickly on 2025, and then we'll talk a little bit about 2026.
You know, there were two big themes that we had coming to 2025 that we wanted to prove
One of which was, could we provide more support to early stage teams rather than taking a
decision on whether to fund them based off of an application and a grant?
It's really hard for early stage teams to get visibility when all they're being assessed on is a piece of paper. And so we launched Assembly. And what's
been great about Assembly is that we've been able to generate over 140 applications already
across two cohorts, which are starting to demonstrate that there's an ability for us to work more
closely with teams to be able to help guide them and support them and accelerate their
So that was kind of point one.
And the second thing, which I think was really important going in, is that we had kind of
a view that local founder density is what drives network growth.
And I think we had this experience that trying this global all one size fits all program
to retain founders doesn't work.
You kind of heard it on the last session as well.
And I think Move Clubs was kind of our attempt
to try and localize founder support and sourcing
and try and ensure that we kind of had better ways
of converting and retaining teams across regions.
And we're starting to see the effects of this.
And Resh just talked to it, but through move clubs,
we've had teams launch tokens like Hyperion.
We've had a number of successful VC raises
They're teams that are generating significant revenue
and forming really strong BD pipelines
And I think that what's been most exciting
and the approach going into 2025 and will kind of be reflected into 2026 is that we're trying to build towards this kind of this density and diversity of founders that we're attracting across markets more of next year where we'll be able to support
teams locally and then they'll be able to roll up globally and vice versa so that we have local
communities, local founders who will be able to tap into global networks and unlock resources.
So that's been a little bit of a snapshot of 2025. I'm sure we can get into more detail on what next
year looks like, but there's still more work to be done.
We're starting to scratch the surface, but some of our early hypotheses and theses are starting to play out.
So we're excited to continue to build on it.
Thank you for that roundup on 2025.
Corey, we have Anuya up here with us. Anuya described the Aftos Assembly as a baby.
And I think that was a beautiful description when she spoke to the Aptos Collective.
And just watching Anuya support and work alongside this early stage project has been amazing to see.
And the feedback, the ideas being shared.
And now we're even talking about a synergy with the Aptos collective
and the Aptos community at large.
Anuya GMGM from MVP bootcamp to Aptos assembly.
How has 2025 been for you?
It was just reflecting, honestly, first space ever,
officially nine months into Aptos.
Corey and I always joke around who's counting, but it's been truly the best way to explain Aptos.
Assembly has been my baby in the sense that it truly, for our ecosystem, right?
It became not just from an experiment of being an MVP to now being the real infrastructure for builders,
it is an ability for teams to be that entry point.
It's the best way to say that it's not just a program, but it's really a place for our community to connect with one another
and where people feel like something real.
We're able to give teams that support, that kind of white glove service that many of these founders deserve. So that's really what Aptos Assembly means to me. Yes, it's my baby, but also it's
our ecosystem's way of showing support to our founders and really, really being able
to double down on it. So yeah, it's not just an experiment anymore, as it once was. We
officially wrapped up cohort one of assembly officially. So more to
come out of that. I think one of the best things that came out of assembly this year is I love
talking about Sergei's story, right? Sergei built Yield AI and he placed second place at a hackathon
a while ago. And he went through assembly cohort beta and actually we were able to find
yield.ai and kind of seeing it take off over the past few months has been one of the most
exciting things for me. So I'm hoping to get more and more stories and narratives and honestly,
not just narratives, real, real utility out of assembly. And that's what I hope to see for 2026.
But that's 2025 in a nutshell
assembly is real it's true infrastructure for our builders to uh build from yeah yeah and let's talk
about the name assembly it takes me back to school makes me um realize how much more builders can
learn from working with experienced teams uh but yeah 2026 is now just a few days away.
And there are a lot of builders lined up looking to come into the Aptos
just look at the applications we saw for the Aptos assembly.
what do you speak to these builders?
What should they be expecting as they come into Aptos for 2026?
Yeah. So I'll let Anuja speak to Assembly and the rest to MoveClub.
So maybe I can just paint a bigger picture of kind of how we're thinking about funding and supporting teams.
Because Assembly is one of different touch points and programs we offer.
MoveClub is another. We also do stuff locally.
So I think everyone has recognized that October 10th, the market changed and we're adapting
And I think this has also allowed us to kind of reset expectations for how we think about
funding and backing teams.
And the framework that we're looking for is moving from funding ideas to funding outcomes.
So helping ensure that teams are investable or sustainable so that they have runway to be able to grow and evolve and take more shots on goal. And so practically
this kind of means three things, one of which is that we're going to be aligning capital
closer to investor milestones and requirements, which means that as we fund teams, there are
clear paths to ensuring that they're aligned with VC needs. And that could look like on-chain revenue or metrics, or that they're approaching a large
And lastly, it's kind of ensuring that there are better expectations from day one around
And I think this is one of the strong emphasis of assembly, which is that for early stage
teams that are very technically strong,
they might not be as strong as go to marketing growth. And this is where we want to step into support. And so what we're doing at the moment is kind of formalizing ecosystem support at three
levels, one of which is project level for teams that we fund, making sure that they continue to
grow and evolve alongside investor requirements. The second is at a portfolio level. So making
sure that we're taking learnings across
the portfolio and making connections to be able to maximize every single team and then abstract
those learnings to the ecosystem level. So we want to use move clubs as kind of a long-term sourcing
and retention engine, but take all the learnings and experiences we have and continue to pipe them
into assembly and pipe them into self-learning
and et cetera, so that what we can do is we can ensure that more teams have resources
and opportunity to grow and scale and learn alongside us.
And so I think that's kind of the hope moving into next year.
Again, there's still a lot of work to do.
And I think what we've experienced as an ecosystem recently is that we also need to be more iterative
and receptive to changing and evolving and so you know really looking forward to 2026 and
ensuring that we kind of tighten up how we fund and support projects across the ecosystem yeah
thank you so much for that koree um before we move on to uh um move clubs with Naresh, I would like to say that if you've been familiar
with the Aptos 2024 Christmas special from Spookspace,
you'll remember that we had this amazing graphic
where we're displaying the whole of the Aptos ecosystem
I want you guys to know that this year
we've planned something really special.
So you guys should stay tuned.
We are going to push out our graphic for this year
So yes, look forward to that, please.
I would really like to see everyone's reaction
But Naresh is here speaking on 2026 for Move Clubs.
Naresh, what should we be expecting
from the Move Clubs for 2026?
Oh, man, you got me excited about the graphic.
Notifications on to check that out.
But I think Corey put this, you know,
very clearly on how we want to fund founders.
The goal is going to be essentially how do we scale the efforts in multiple regions and
build more meaningful experience essentially to drive founders and talent to Aptos.
We are in an amazing space for Aptos, irrespective of where we are in the market cycle. We're extremely clear on what we want to do, essentially.
With the support from community members like you,
our partners regionally, and the talented team,
Like, 2026, I think, is going to be a very big year for us.
One thing that I would highlight as a big sort of a story for 2026 on move clubs is
essentially going to be how we bring the ecosystem closer regionally and then help them connect
with each other, collaborate with each other and essentially celebrate everything that
And, you know, that sort of translates to more teams building, more talent, essentially,
you know, coming to Aptos and, you know, that translates to a lot of on-chain activity.
So extremely excited about 2026.
I'm going to take some, you know, time off the last few days to sort of brew on this, but extremely, extremely bullish.
Yo, and I'm extremely bullish on move clubs as well.
Just looking at the idea come to shape has been beautiful to watch.
The projects that have come out already from these regions are doing really well.
already from these regions are doing really well.
Several of them, shout out to, I believe Monify,
Yudei, like Anuya spoke about, and several others.
When we talk about the Chinese region as well,
so many exciting projects have come out from these regions,
talking about Goblin, Hyperion,
some of the most exciting TGs we saw in 2025
and just makes me super bullish
for what we're expecting in 2026.
Anuya would like to know about Aptos Assembly for 2026.
I believe a cohort for the end of the year
might just have concluded
and working with these amazing teams I know ideas are
shaping for what is to come in 2026 can you let us in on some of those ideas?
Yeah absolutely I think one of the main things for 2026 is doubling down on getting the collective
and the community involved into assembly right assembly is going to be one of the places
truly that we are going to double
down on. And to your point exactly, Baba, is the fact that, I mean, we've had some amazing teams
like AllScale, Yield AI, MoneyFi, all come out of assembly, but also through move clubs, right?
Move clubs were the place we were able to source. So making sure that connective tissue is what
assembly becomes from move clubs
to foundation to getting that right support that builders deserve and making sure we can really
build different modules and expand further so that those four weeks feel extremely valuable
to the founders, not just from mentorship sessions, but also connecting with one another.
One thing that we saw come out of this
previous cohort, the first one that we've just done, was we were able to match certain founders
from team A to team B, being like, hey, maybe you guys should collaborate together. So finding
opportunities to really bring our ecosystem together through assembly is something that
we'll definitely be focusing on for 2026. So yeah, more of a collaborative spirit and doubling down on
that. Yo, collaboration over competition. I think that's low key is becoming a theme on Aptos.
More and more teams are working together. And I think, yes, definitely working together
grows the ecosystem as a whole. It gives us the push to innovate rather than compete. I mean, looking at the
design of Decibel and Shelby as well, on top these amazing protocols that have been built,
it pushes for innovation. How can we collaborate? How can we work on the groundwork that has been
put in place? So yes, I think that's definitely a team going into 2026
and looking forward to more collaboration in 2026.
Thank you all from the Ecosystem team coming here to speak.
Shayam Khouri, Anuya, Naresh.
It was great to see the roundup for 2025 from the Ecosystem
and MoveClubs and Assembly,
as well as what we are looking forward to in 2026.
I would like to call on all our Aptos D5 projects and that's our final session for the Christmas
special today. We have Mechul in the audience. I believe we have Panora as well and we'll be bringing you guys up shortly more christmas music as we wait I won't even wish for snow, I'm just gonna keep on pushing, oh my man, it feels so dumb.
I won't make a list of standing, there's no hope for sending.
I won't even stay our way through, I'm magical in this place,
cause I just want you here tonight, oh my God, it's so nice. Oh Oh, baby. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh. I just want you on my own oh
oh yeah we have amnice up here we have mechle in the audience as well looks like um some might be having
uh connection issues i mean x does this all the time rugging our spaces but please if you're having
issues you can close the application and restart it it usually helps to set it up also also note
that joining from pc might not be the most ideal it usually prefers joining from mobile
phones but we have amnesty on here gmgm amnesty um glad to have you guys here amnesty is no
stranger to spook spaces i believe we had you guys last year and we're having you on the 2025
christmas special it's been beautiful to watch the growth of amnist from early days on
aptos up till now how has 2025 been for you guys gmgm guys uh it's nice to be here um tommy
marketing leads of amnist finance i have been working with our ce Eric, Patrick and the great people of Amnith team for the last year and learning things in the ways.
And it's the first time for me to stand up there and represent for Amnith on the special MA session like this one.
And shout out for BABA and SPOCK Sport Lab for the opportunity.
All right. So, yeah, it's very, very great time for us to be here.
Look back for the whole thing for after 2025.
For Amnesty Finance, 2025 is a year of acceleration for sure.
looks like we lost amnes i think x is doing its thing but we'll be moving on to mekul trade i
think mekul trade has been one exciting project to watch i myself has spent a good amount of time
in mekul trade the gamified trading experience is one of the most beautiful I've seen across the whole
GM, GM Meco, our 2025 bin for you.
Thanks for inviting us to the space.
So this year, I'm really thankful for how far the protocol has scaled.
So just to share a few milestones from 2025, we processed 12.5 billion in trading volume this year, bringing us to the total trading volume of 29 billion. And we also generate billions in fees this year.
So we've already distributed over 600K US dollars
So, but I think the biggest moment for us in 2025
was when we started building Merkle mobile app and when we started going with
the mobile first strategy.
So I think we moved past thinking of Merkle as only a per protocol and started building
it into a beginner friendly DeFi app while trading still being at the core.
So one of the major milestones for this year was the release of the Merkle mobile app,
which is now available on App Store and Google Play.
And we've been shipping major feature updates
like Simple Earn with the innovation with Aave and Echelon
as well as the news feed that has been, has gone out
recently, which is an AI power crypto and macroeconomic news service.
And I think now we have, the last time we checked, we have several hundred daily active
users coming back every day to the app, which is honestly one of the strongest signals that you can ask for when you're building consumer products.
So we are pretty happy about what we achieved throughout this year.
throughout this year. And for the next year, I think what we are looking forward to is
Merkle continuing to grow into a more comprehensive DeFi suite while keeping the PERP trading at
the center. So we'll keep investing heavily in the mobile app experience,
smoother onboarding, and everyday utility around trading.
And in the near term, there are a few more concrete things we can be excited about.
For example, we are working with the Decibel team on the Decibel integrations.
And we're also planning collaborations
on with Decibel team on the marketing side as well.
And product-wise, you'll see us keep expanding
on the feed and social element into the app.
And so the Merkle app should feel like the default place
something that you use right before placing trade. So yeah, so we're very excited about
that. And lastly, we are also doubling down on growth. We are actively acquiring users through collaborations with ecosystem partners like
Hyperion, Goblin, App3, Eichelon, Decibel of course, and so on. And we are doubling down down on marketing initiatives like in real life events.
We've done quite a bit of in real life events about the 2025 in Vietnam, Hong Kong,
Seoul, Nigeria, Rwanda, as well as in the US during the Aptos experience.
And I think we'll keep expanding on real life events
since we realized that it's a really powerful way
we can onboard people directly on the spot
and get immediate feedback on the spot.
So yeah, we were very excited.
And I think next year is when the Meco app really starts to take off. And I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead. So I'm looking forward to shipping with the community next year.
I was able to experience the events that Meco participated in
in Abuja, Nigeria year alongside M or represented by M.
Did an amazing job in that event.
The user experience for the mobile app was beautiful.
Before that day, I had no experience the mobile app.
And right there, I downloaded the mobile app
it was because you would think about the mobile app and you might be wondering how it might just
be for trading peps because that's what i thought until i saw it live in action but it's way more
than that there's so much um utility to the mobile application. And right now,
I'm probably receiving a notification from the Merkur mobile app, allotting me on token
prices. And yeah, just one of the additional things that you might not expect from the
Merkur mobile app. I urge everybody to check that out. I think you guys did such an amazing
job on that application up here we
have panora panora has been such a powerhouse for the whole of the after cycle system powering money
movement on the money on the chain that money moves best gmgm panora hours hey baba yeah thank
you so much for having us on this space today.
Thank you for coming, Sheda.
How has 2025 been for you?
Yeah, 2025 has been great.
We have been on a streak of shipping products.
In the last six to seven months, we shipped four new products apart from the core product of
DexAggregator that we already had so we are trying to maintain that streak that will go on in the
next year as well uh another milestone that you know we are we are really proud of proud of in
2025 is the distribution and the partnerships that we have made. We are now close to 25 plus partners when
it comes to our aggregator. So, you know, products like Backpack Wallet, BitGet Wallet, all of these
big projects have already integrated our swap API. So that shows conviction in what we are building. So yeah,
I think 2025 has been great. And we believe that we'll carry the same energy and focus in 2026 as
well. So the Aptos community can look forward to more new products that we are going to launch,
look forward to more new products that we are going to launch,
strengthen our distribution game,
and also we'll be focusing a lot on growth now going forward,
and also making new partnerships as well,
like just we did in 2025.
And talking about shipping products on panora we got limited
as dca and panora flows all in one year i didn't realize how much i needed these new
products that panora shipped until you guys did it and i think it's really created this trading suit for anybody that would like ease
of trading on pandora i mean talk about dca talk about cross chain and the question moves so
smoothly and the feedback that or the response i get from community and from your team has been
really useful i remember the order they had some questions about the cross-chain transactions and i got
immediate feedback thank you guys so much for building those amazing products i would like to
know what the feedback from the community has been on those yeah the feedback from the community has
been great like you know for every new product that we launch we always believe in taking feedback
from the community and keep
iterating as well. So it's not like, you know, we have launched something and we don't look at it
again. So, you know, we are always open to feedback. Discord has been really helpful.
Telegram has been really helpful to gather that feedback from the community. And, you know, even like how you shared your concern over a transaction,
we get feedback for features, we get feedback on the user journey. So that's how we collate
all the feedback. And our intent has always been to improvise the user journey and experience
with the products that we have built. so far uh you know we are really
thankful and grateful to the aptos community for always giving us an open feedback and we
also continue uh and we also believe that would continue in 2026 as well so so that you know we
we launch better products and we launch what actually community needs. Thank you for that.
I look at these products that you already have, yeah, and I'm wondering, what does Pandora want to launch next?
Yeah, so there are a lot of interesting updates that you can look forward to.
You'll always have to look for alpha, you know, once 2026 starts.
I can't reveal anything right now.
There are a lot of things work in progress,
but there are exciting updates going to come up soon.
Thank you for that, Sheba.
Also up here, we have Hyperion.
It feels like Hyperion has been with us for years,
but I want you guys to know that Hyperperion actually launched in 2025 that is mind
blowing when you think about it and like the amount of uh of work that has been put into
iperion a rebrand has even been amongst those things that has gone i think maybe multiple
rebrands when we if we decide to break it down in bits and iperion has continued to ship and continue to
adapt and um and add exciting new products to what they currently had up to this point now
iperion is looking to become that amazing product suits here on aptos as well uh they brought in
something really useful in terms of concentrated
liquidity and i know how much that powered the aptos yields and apr systems and just strategies
across aptos and even better from that we have goblin as well but without putting words in your
mouth gmgmipion has 2025 been for you guys?
GMGM, shout out to our KPIs and the whole Aptos community. It's been a great year so far,
and we are really grateful to be here
with everyone building and shipping.
Yeah, definitely a lot of things have happened this year.
And as you mentioned before, we launched our new branding,
Hyperfluid to Hyperion, all through the, I remember that.
So yeah, we shipped product updates, we became one of the best Dex's across the Web3 space.
Also recently, we built the pool page with range visualization to provide the real-time price history plus execution on the same screen for Aptos traders.
But I must confess, probably what we are most grateful for is our active community who have been with us, who have provided liquidity and who have been the driving force behind
our success and none of those milestones actually matter without you guys
i mean amongst all the amazing things that period did this year you guys added t I mean, the year has been filled with ups and downs, but somehow your TGE was
one of the most looked forward things for the community this year on Aptos. Looking
into 2026, what do you guys plan to do as a brand, both for Hyperion and towards your
Yeah, I think for the next year, the big thing to look forward is to push Hyperion into even a stronger
liquidity engine for Aptos with better LP outcomes, yields and better execution.
yields and better execution.
I believe the next step to keep an eye on is pushing the Hyperion launchpad forward
to help projects launch with real Aptos liquidity.
But the core goal stays the same with a liquidity engine that powers Aptos growth.
Thank you so much for that, Hyperion.
Up here, we also have Vitaly from Ekiden.
Ekiden doing amazing things here on Aptos.
And I think even beyond that, Ekiden has been building so much more.
Vitaly, GMGM, how has 2025 been for you?
Thanks for hosting this i'm happy that you still did not forget about akiden so 2025 has been great but exhausting for our team we started building an aptos we started
building a kid then in the first week of April, branding everything
architecture was built before that. Super grateful to Aptos for allowing us to get
into the acceleration cohort in Japan, Osaka. Those have been two amazing months.
Those have been two amazing months.
We were building pretty fast, I would say, as well.
A lot of very knowledgeable talks and connections that Aptos provided us with.
Then we were supposed to ship a while ago.
Then we were supposed to ship a while ago.
And on the 4th of September, we have shipped our first testnet.
I'll give you some alpha.
We're going to release the next public testnet on the 13th of January.
Right now we're finalizing the audits.
We are also doing an economic audit. This is the second economic audit of our off-chain matching engine and order book. I would call it V2 because
we were planning to release this version of the order book as a V2. Later, we delayed the launch because we wanted to minimize the latency.
It really got requested by all the market makers and prop shops we spoke with, those
that have been integrating with us all this time.
Our API will be just the same as Bybit API.
We decided to do this to simplify the onboarding for the traders into Aptos ecosystem,
because definitely bringing new users is our ultimate mission.
current latency in our order book is stable, and it's always below 100 millisecond on both execution and settlement, which is huge.
I'm very impressed with our engineering team and how we ship that.
Mainnet is going to happen either in late January or late February.
I'll keep you posted on that.
We're also closing our seed round
that we've been raising throughout the year.
You'll see the announcement very soon.
Yeah, spend the last several weeks onboarding the HFTs,
And we are super excited to collaborate with the ecosystem, by the way.
Now as we're locked in our go-to-market strategy,
there's a lot of things we can do.
Definitely growth for all of us lies in collaboration.
Looking at the on-chain PEPDEX space of the PEPDEX space as you all, I think
it has been really exciting in 2025, almost you can call it a meta. Do you
see this trend continuing into 2026?
In fact, look, so to our investors in April, I was pitching, we have a slide and I'll pitch
deck, it's like a pie chart. And it says that the portion of the on chain of DeFi perps in entire,
like every day half a half a trillion, in fact, usd in cumulative volumes being traded on the futures
derivatives and the perps but the perps were only 10 billion portion back in april today you can
open defilama.com slash perps and you will see something around 35 billion traded daily but on
the peak it was around 60 billion it It means that the market grew six times.
I expect it to grow six times from here because this is exactly what happened with the spot market.
Spot is representing around 33%, I mean DeFi spot of entire cryptocurrency trading on all the venues,
centralized and decentralized. So it's inevitable that the same thing is going to happen with the perps.
Tell you more Solana blockchain is in fact just joining the perps, whatever you call
After they have lost the deal with the ph the Phantom deal I mean to Hyperliquid
they started seriously thinking about the perps and you can see bulk trade Pacifica and bullet XYZ
just launching and Phoenix that ellipses labs team that has been so successful in the spot entirely
switches to the perps they discontinued their spot exchange, which again was pretty good, pretty successful.
Now they are launching the perps.
So you get four good perp decks, everything off-chain matched, by the way, in the next year.
Aptos is launching two solid product, Decibel and Ekidan.
So Aptos is joining the race.
Merkle Trade, you are the OGs. I did not forget about you. It's just that I'm another book guy, as you know.
Stay is launching Monaco. Many foundations are building the perps. I think the perps market is just taking off.
market is just taking off so yeah totally next year will will definitely be way way bigger than
this year for the perps it's just a little bit sad that three products that have like industry
shrunk a bit right and three products that have been performing the most were stable coins payment and the perps it almost seems like there isn't much except well perps spot
trading and well stables essentially yeah but i think it took a while for those narratives to even
ship and eventually more are going to join that those narratives up here we have uh tap as well
and uh tap exchange i believe is the first v4 uh decks on aptos correct me if i'm wrong
but more than that tap also launched their pep test nets and i've been able to check that out
really amazing stuff you guys are doing 2025
was a beautiful year watching tap grow i would like to hear the recap of 2025 from you guys
as well as what you are looking forward to in 2026 gmgm tap welcome you have the mic
hey guys can you guys hear me loud and clear clear. Yeah, so recap of 2025.
I think 2025 has been quite a good year to everyone here.
You know, we had a pretty good run.
And I think specifically for TAP, we launched in June 2025.
And, you know, we have been building, have been working within the ecosystem.
I think some stuff to highlight is, you know, We have been building, have been working within the ecosystem.
I think some stuff to highlight is, obviously, we just crossed $1 billion in trading volume.
And also, we managed to help a few different projects launch on top of TAP.
Projects such as Booster, projects such as Springboard, and also a bunch of different collaborations with almost everyone here.
We had a lot of fun collaborating with AppTree.
And obviously now looking forward to 2026, I think what's exciting or what's coming in
2026 will be our Perps mainnet launch and obviously RTGE.
I don't want to say much, but if you look at our socials, you can see that we are ramping up the education on tap tokens
and ramping up education on the entire V33 system to get people familiarized and to get people to be able to vote and be able to know what to do with your VTAP tokens.
I'm also very happy to announce that 40% of our tokens will be aird as you have participated in the Aptos ecosystem before,
no matter on TAP or on Hyperion or on Tala or any DeFi protocol,
And then with this airdrop,
you can take part in the governance of the TAP exchange ecosystem.
Yeah, so everyone look forward to that.
Thank you for that quick roundup, TAP. Quick,
but filled with so much alpha. And I think this is the beauty of the Aptos DeFi ecosystem,
because now it doesn't just matter if you used TAP. The fact that you've been active in the Aptos
DeFi space means that you've contributed and TAP is recognizing you for that and I think it's so
beautiful because this synergy now means that for everybody that has been contributing on chain
via app tree is going to be entitled to this as well so thank you so much TAP for sharing that
I think it's a beautiful way to prepare for 2026 amazing work you guys have done in 2025 you didn't
stop putting out those announcements you didn't stop shipping and i mean we're looking forward
to a pepdex in 2026 as well but up here we have segi if you guys um remember when anuya was
speaking she spoke about udi and the mind behind UDI is with us up
here. He has been documenting
all the experience from the
being in Abu Dhabi, but GM,
GM, GM, can you hear me? Yes, I can hear you. JM, JM, can you hear me?
Yes, great, great, great, great.
Yes, for our team, this has been a really strong year on Aptos.
The idea of Yiltai was born then reshaped by the community. And honestly,
launching DeFi show, reading user comments helped a lot. That feedback directly influenced
the product. We managed to get our first 100 active users with no points, no rewards, no incentives right now because the product is useful.
They use us as a DeFi dashboard for Aptos.
Today we are the most complete portfolio tracker on Aptos blockchain.
At some point, D-Bank basically copied our idea of managing deposits directly from the
But we think we did it better.
Mainly because we are building natively on Aptos.
It's much better than on Ethereum, I think.
We are now working on our smart contract.
And there is a lot of interesting stuff coming.
My goal is to ship in December.
The thing that really explains why Aptos built X-chain accounts in the first place,
I did not go to Solana Breakpoint for no reason.
And this is some alpha. Solana, Aptos and Exchange accounts.
I think what we are bringing will be very useful for Aptos users.
And of course some video interviews coming soon from these travels.
Right now I'm in Aston now already.
Yo, thank you so much for that, Sergei.
And I mean, you've connected with so many people.
It has been great watching and seeing those posts come from you.
It almost feels like I'm on this journey of attending these events with you.
But yeah, it's been beautiful
watching the old ecosystem the aptos team the community in 2025 you all have been amazing
you all have made it special for me myself um the team at app3 the team at spooks labs and yeah we
look forward to 2026 alongside you guys you guys made 2025 amazing for us
we look forward to working with you again in 2026 shout out to everybody that came in to make the
apptos christmas 2025 special for us and uh to all the speakers to all the listeners that came in at
the point of uh one point or another or those that stayed all true till the end.
I want you guys to know that you are dear to our hearts.
And yeah, we love you guys so much.
Thank you so much for making 2025 special for us.
We hope 2025 was special for you as well.
We're closing it off with
All I Want for Christmas is You by Mara Kari, once
again playing it from the top. Bye everybody. I'm not for Christmas. There is just one thing I need.
I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree.
I just want you for my home.
More than you could ever know.
All I want for Christmas is you. you
