Look at Hype and his PFP.
That's absolutely crazy, everybody. Oh, my God. Look at hype and his PFP. That's absolutely crazy, guys.
We still have two and a half minutes to go.
So hype about today's topic.

Damn, what a banger, guys! This is Grateful Show 445!
GMGM everybody so hyped to be here what a beautiful Tuesday the weather is perfect
everything's great and I'm so hyped because we have incredible incredible guests today
an incredible topic building in the metaverse I think that's the alpha of 2026 with AI agents
because you can already see in other side vibe maker world what you can build
and we're gonna be talking about how to actually achieve it how to build how to use MML and so on
and so on guys can't wait can't wait because this is gonna be big I'm really bullish on metaverse
and other side is awesome so let me quickly circle around say hi to hype and six
and then we welcome our main guest for today cinema let's fuck it up go hype how you doing
man what a beautiful pfp what's going on man what's going on yo gm gm gm it's tuesday yo you
change the time it's okay i told you It's okay. I didn't bro.
We gotta change our time.
Like three weeks earlier than everyone else.
I don't know what's going on.
I look at it this way bro.
If we're one hour closer.
That means we're one finger closer to touching each other's
You know, like E.T., phone home.
I appreciate you, as always.
Looking forward to listening in on the MML and obviously the vibe, the vibe makers.
But no, Sinema's going to be, I know he's going to be giving a a banger banger conversation today on what the topic is about so yeah gm everybody
gm legend and it's really funny uh with the time change because i was like how to do it right
should we keep it on us time zone so i i will start our earlier or we keep it european i don't
know i don't know guys maybe comment uh what should I do should I start one hour earlier
than usual for three weeks
and we get back on the same time
I don't know, it's kind of confusing
I kind of don't understand
cooperate and do the change at the same
time, right, like it's so obvious
but you know, we don't gotta
uh let me also say hi to six to pluck or is it a six hey what's good grateful what's up what's up
bro i've been vibe coding all week it's the time it's the time ai meta is crazy bro like
i thought i thought clock was good but when i tried it myself, I was just going, change this, change that.
Add this feature, build this, build that. I've just been going on it, bro. Addictive. Amazing times.
Love to hear that. We're gonna be talking about it a lot today it's a revolution because even
djents like me or you we can build stuff right now which is absolutely crazy i was i made a
i made a sword and ball in a mml and i felt like a genius man and it all it took was a few prompts for claude which like year two ago
would be absolutely impossible and i wouldn't be able to make it so yeah i actually had a
i wanted to play a song from conan the barbarian but somehow it's not on spotify anymore because
cinema loves movies right so i was like we have to start properly, but at least I made the sword for other side.
So yeah, absolutely crazy what people have been building there.
And I think it's beautiful because we need to have a lot of builders
and try many things actually to see what works, what doesn't work,
And that's why I started playing Fortnite, to learn more about the game and to see the physics, maps, what's great, what's not that great.
And it's really interesting to see that.
But guys, if you have any questions, go to the comment section.
I already see so many legends there.
Hype, 6Dplug, Zombie Rob, Dippy, Bucked Up, Shiny and 456.
Absolutely love it, guys.
Retweet the space so more people can join us.
I know it's a mess with a time change,
but I think we will be back on the same schedule on 28th of March,
which is in like two years in Web3 time.
Cinema, welcome here here so hyped to have
you man it's gonna be a banger i know it i feel it yo dude i'm i'm very excited to be here i think
this is kind of for me one of the iconic web three uh shows uh so i just uh very honored that you
asked so thank you so so thank you so much
thank you so much for joining i also bring macaveli because you know there is no talk about
other side without hype macaveli honeybee from bank cock and g-spot and and everyone right
macaveli what's good bro how's it going Yeah, it's going good, man. Thanks for having me.
Bro, I tell you a really sad thing, man.
I couldn't make it on Saturday for other games because I had some IRL stuff.
And it's so bad to miss it, bro.
Just save your excuses, bro.
But tonight, you can be there for Chaos Trialsals and if you show up tonight for the Chaos Trials
You'll get a GTD spot for the upcoming
My god, let's go. Let's go. But guys, how how was the games on Saturday?
I know it was with me bits the football the avatars are incredible, so how was it?
No, I was gonna say, did you see the streaker? We had somebody streaking across the soccer field, bro.
It was crazy. It was wild. Profanity, profanity, bro.
No, it was G-Spot. G-Spot has a meaves that's got, like, you know, the meatloaf on his chest, the mullet.
I mean, isn't he our version of PP Man on Ape?
He's, like, the G-Spot, the PP Man.
I mean, it kind of makes sense, right?
Yeah, it's kind of the same thing.
Except every day is not his birthday.
Do you think they're going to eventually, like, of a peepee man's cake a g nevermind
oh my god or a lake or something you know grateful one one thing about the
games that was kind of cool that's tied into our discussion today is honeybee
had like bespoke pieces that he dropped because part of
the games was in the mml vibe maker world so he had some pieces um the coolest thing about mml is
i was able to switch out the cinema i switched out the marquee right so it was me bits themed
switched out the media to the the video that honeybee made so folks you know upon loading
into that world stepped in the into the theater watch that that video so folks you know upon loading into that world stepped in the into
the theater watch that that video to get you know the height get the levels where they needed to be
so all that was possible with MML and it was you know it all came about quick so it's uh it's pretty exciting
yeah it's great guys guys. You can go to
VibeMaker World by yourself
and check it out and see what people
I had a chat with Cinema and he was
like, you have to do it, you have to do it now,
you have to go there, you have to create your
first things. I love it because
the opportunity to actually create something.
And with tools like Claude and Codex and so on and so on,
And one of the goals for today's space is 100% to understand better,
like how can you start, what you can do,
and how to position yourself for 2026,
because other side is early. And whenever something is early and you know
whenever something is early and
you are part of that you have
100% advantage over other
people because you understand it better and
if you learn how to build and everyone can do
it with those tools these days
I think it can be incredible
opportunity and also market is boring
what else to do than creating
objects and new things in other side right so definitely do it guys if you have created something
share it with me in the comments i will go through it and check it out because it's it's really cool
to see uh what people created and uh cinema you made a cinema in the other side so could you tell
us a little bit before we get into the you know
what MML is and how to start etc could you tell us a little bit uh what if what have you built
there and uh how much time uh did it actually uh take yeah um I wanted to touch on too you were
like encouraging people to get going MML is an open standard too so you're this isn't just like
specific to other sides so you if you learn these
if you learn these techniques and approaches you know it's like it's just good moving forward
because a lot of worlds going forward uh are all using this standard so it's just a good thing to
to know um in terms of how how long it took to get all this up uh not too long i mean that cinema that i built maybe a couple days you know like
the biggest thing i want to encourage and just impress upon people is it's the foundation layer
that you start that like dictates everything so you want to before i even start prompting i kind of
like teach a claude about mml teach it about other side. And the way you do that
is with what's called markdown files, which are just text files. They're just, it's just text.
And you start, you start making those things. And then it's, it's the great thing about Claude
is this persistent memory. If you're working locally, right, you give them a folder to work
out of. reads those those files
every every time before it even goes to your prompt so it already knows what MML is it knows
what other side is it knows your intention like what who you are what you're doing right it would
know who grateful is you know so that that's really like step one and that was probably what
I spent the most amount of time on.
And then once I got to prompting, it was, you know, it was you prompt, there it is.
And then you're iterating and off you go.
And using Claude or like Claude code or you use OpenClaude?
Yeah, using Claude. So I kind of restrained myself intentionally just because I knew if education was going to take place, I kind of didn't want to go down the open Claude route. Also, that could get like resource heavy. So I just want to keep in mind, some. And I also just started in the chat window.
I wasn't even in Claude code.
So, you know, anyone knows me, like I preach baby steps, right?
So, like, it could be as simple as starting in that chat window.
I think knowing what I know now, I probably would encourage people to really dive into Claude code just because of the ability to work locally in the folder is where you can start building that memory.
But Anthropic, to their credit, they've brought a lot of things to that basic chat window to increase persistent memory.
They have this thing called projects.
And inside projects, you can drop files.
You can have sessions just show in that project.
So you can do a lot in that chat window.
So if Cloud Code's scary to you, that chat window is completely viable.
So that Cinema I bought, or that I built, is straight up in that chat window.
So it's kind of, to me, that was kind of bullish,
that on the most basic level of Claude,
you could do so much. Man, this is absolutely incredible. And MD files, guys, that's the alpha
from what I learned. And also the creating a project and putting all the files in there. I
think that's another alpha, right? Because there's a free course on Claude, and this is basically one of the first things they teach
there. Like when you start a project with a context, right? So you don't have to remind
the Claude all the time again, what is it about? So this is great. And it's so bullish that you
can do this just through the chat right like that's something
that was not possible i don't even know maybe even half a year ago i don't know it's really crazy so
uh absolutely love it and how was the process of building that cinema man like how how does that
process work well one more thing i want to touch on with the markdown files like even if you're
like overwhelmed because i know a lot of people like just getting started is always the hardest thing, right? It's like blank screen, blank prop window.
The Markdown files themselves that I made, I actually just made it through Claude. So the
greatest thing about Claude is like, if you have, if you don't know where to start, you could
literally go to the window and be like, I don't know where to start. And Claude's going to be
like, what are you trying to do? And then like, it's that simple.
And anything you don't understand, you just ask Claude and it'll walk you through it. So
I said, hey, I'm, there's this thing called Other Side. There's this thing called metaverse
markup language. It just opened. I want to start building things. Like, how can I set us up to be
in a, like a spot to, to win win and it was like let's let's get some
context like the whole thing with Claude is context like the more you give it that foundation
layer the more you unlock its full capability so I I just prompted it I was like well what do you
want to know and it was like all right take me to to github let's get the mml documents and so I
just put the url in. And then it by itself
scrubbed all that information, read it and then spit out a file and was like, this is what I'm
thinking to make as a file for MML. And I read through it. And I was like, that's Yeah, that's
fantastic. Like, it had all its the tags, what it is the constraints. And then taking that a step
further, other side now has documents that are tailored to,
specifically to the world.
So then train it on that.
So now it knows specifically to other side what it can and can't do.
So it's, it's, that's how the process starts.
And it's really simple just, and just to make that even simpler for folks,
like I'm going to be sharing the Markdown files I have.
So if you could just drag and drop those in and start.
The thing I would encourage people to do, though, is the most like for each project, kind of the heartbeat, the brain of the project is what's called the Claude.md, the clod markdown file. And that's kind
of like where you tell it about yourself. That's where you would kind of tailor it to who you are,
what your goal is, like how you like to work. So that's the one thing I would, even if you get the
files I made, I would encourage you to still make that so that it knows, hey, I'm grateful.
This is what I'm about. I would feed it, you know,
grateful I'd feed it your ex, let it read your posts, you know, and beyond just you describing
to it who you are, let it interpret it for itself because Claude has to understand the context.
And if it's describing it to itself, I think it does that a better job sometimes than if you're describing it. So that's, that's where
you start. And then from there, this is all say, like, you just pick a folder, you know, on your
computer, your desktop, and call it whatever you want to call it, I just called it Claude, right?
So all this stuff goes in that folder at the top level of that, that structure. And then
within that, you could just start making subfolders of all your projects.
So I have one inside Claude, I have MML other side.
And then that's your foundation. And then from there, you just
start conversationally walking through it with Claude.
I think the offer with these AI tools
is really ask those tools, right?
Because I also was used to always ask Google, right?
Like how to do this, how to do that.
But no, you are in the tool,
you ask the tool to do it for you.
And that's amazing how it works.
And, you know, I set up my
cloud code, codex and everything in
and I've been playing with it, but
haven't built anything meaningful,
but I think I learned a lot
doing it and I definitely
want to build something cool in the other side.
That's why I'm so hyped that we are talking together today because I always think about like what to do in the space,
what to do right now. And there's not much, a lot of things died, but other side, I think it's a
great opportunity and you can approach it from different angles, right? You can create content, you can create events.
You know, we have other games here on
stage. They've been doing an incredible
job and you can build there.
And I think building objects and
building on your own deed
in the future, it's going to be
an incredible opportunity because you can easily
customize it. You can create whatever you want. You want to teach people something? You know, you can do it in the other side. gonna be it's gonna be incredible opportunity because you can easily customize it you can create whatever you want you want to teach people something you know you can do
it in the other side you want to watch nba you can do it there so me squiddy and marathon be
definitely thinking of building some like basketball courts there and and and place where
we can watch nba and stuff like that so it's really great opportunity and that you can do it by yourself that's that's insane man so um
i got i got one for you grateful you could um you could build like the first thing i built was just
like what was kind of on brand for me or it's like what i love right which is you know film
um you you could build like a little pop-up shop that like, you know, advertises kind of your show. And the coolest
thing about MML is any GLB, you can basically point to a, to MML. So like outside your shop,
you know, you, it could be informational. So it's like, you could take the models of whoever's on
your show for that week, throw them in front of your shop and, you know, with information, with a sign that
says, you know, 10 AM, here's my guests. Like, you know, that might be like just a fun on brand and
useful kind of kiosk, right. Uh, for you that you could just build to also just learn how to do this.
But, um, and I'll, and I'll give you an example of that, which this happened last week and this
is where I like get really excited about MML.
I run a project called Fud Friday that some folks know, some don't.
And in that project last year leading up to Ape Fest, we did an immersive experience called Journey to Ape Fest.
And that involved folks sending us their apes, their models.
folks sending us the, you know, their apes, their models. And we like abducted their apes through a
UFO that, you know, appeared as they were driving through the desert to Vegas. And so I had all
those objects as GLBs, right? So I was able to just point those to the MML, like convert them
in MML, throw them in the VibeMaker world. So there's a car, there's a Vegas sign so there's a car there's a vegas sign there's a ufo with a little tractor
beam and then bud friday as a as a character he's he's stuck in that tractor beam floating
and then dc directive creator came through he created his own character mimicked the animation
that i had set up and he threw him in there so now there's two people in there that are abducted
and the coolest thing about mml is like every week someone could just throw like grateful you could go through your
ape in there and then it's it's abducted so like the iteration and the building on top of each
other is to me the coolest and most exciting thing that we have to look forward to
so like if you did build your shop like people could iterate on top of that shop.
I think that's a great idea.
Also, I will upload the transcript of the space to my cloud,
and I'll be like, hey, bro, whatever they told me to do,
you create me a to-do list, and let's fucking do it. Or maybe better, you do it for me. I'll be like, hey, bro, whatever they told me to do, you create me a to-do list
and let's fucking do it. Or maybe better, you do it for me. I'll be just watching. But this is crazy
time to be alive, really. It's absolutely nuts. Facebook bought Moldbook, which is like a social
media platform for AI agents, right? So AI agents, 100% alpha for 2026. That's the hyped thing,
you know, and we saw AI agents in the other side.
So it's really exciting time to be in this space
because if you go outside and talk,
you know, if you have normies outside of this space
and that are not working in tech,
they have no idea about moldbook or AI agents,
So, Cinema, could you walk us through about a process? Because I think for people to
process actually works is
to go through how you built the cinema
How does it work? What do you
need? We mentioned Claude.
What else do you need to build it?
And how did it work? I'm really curious
about it because the cinema is cool, guys.
and then you go to ODK, right?
And there's the Vibe Maker World button
and you can see the cinema.
Yeah, and the Vibe Maker World
So it's other side dot XYZ
because it's got three buttons on there.
which sends you to the MML editor,
which is one of the tools
we'll talk about right now.
And then the third one is really important.
and that's your asset library.
So your login to OtherSide
is also now a place for you to store your MML. They're
connected. So you click that button, there's a, you know, your MML library page. And that's where
you copy paste URLs and start saving things so that when you get into game, you have objects to
place. So that's it. That's an important place to check out. And even if you don't have access right now to
placing objects, I think that's like the one thing we should clarify in the show because I think
there's a lot of confusion. Anyone can go to that world right now and check it out. It's an open
world, just like how the Nexus is and the Swamp is. There's a certain allow list right now for people that can actually
place objects. And we snuck Grateful in. So Grateful now has that role and he can place
objects. But in the meantime, there's no limit on you making objects. There's no limit on you
saving objects. So I would encourage everyone to make objects, save objects. And the good news is
that that list of people that are able to place objects, that's going to be opening daily. So
my biggest encouragement is, let's just call it proof of MML. If you're starting to get fluent in this workflow, you know, reply to this space with proof of ML, right? DM me,
just get it out there on the timeline that you're doing this stuff. Like folks are watching and the
folks that are showing that they're doing stuff, those are the ones I think are gonna kind of get
access first. So I just wanted to clarify that little that tidbit there um
you can also hit the uh like a support ticket in discord but i know that that fills up quick so
i feel like the timeline and just actively showing your proof of ml is probably gonna
work out better for you and i'm kind of keeping eyeballs on that and advocating for those folks that I see that are really out there hustling.
So, yeah, so just to clarify, like, you can go to that world.
And right now there's kind of a limited number of folks that can actually place objects.
And part of that's just because there's polygon limits that are being tested.
part of that's just because there's polygon limits that are being tested um so you know
if everyone asked had access today drop something like that could very well start to bog the world
down so you know again baby steps but that that list is opening up daily so that's that's not gonna
it's not like years out that's you know every day more and more people are coming in. So, and limits are being pushed.
So, in terms of like building that cinema, yeah.
For me, I love the 3D glasses trait.
So, for me, it started there.
Like, I just, I love that trait.
Like, beyond my ape, like my heavy metal has 3D glasses.
Like, I have 3D glasses across multiple collections. Like, if your collection has 3D glasses, that 3D glasses, that's probably the one I'm going after.
So I knew I wanted to incorporate that somehow.
And seeing the Vitemaker world, the coolest thing about that SkyD is like the scale.
And you see things off in the distance.
So for me, the whole thing was like, I want to make something big.
I just want to make something big.
I want to see if it breaks the world if I make something big.
And so that's where it started.
If this building existed in real life, it would be 15 stories tall.
And I think it's like 300 feet deep so it's it's it's it's a sizable building um
so i started with size the glasses and then uh i knew i wanted a marquee and um
and oversized seats because you know you can't like sit right now right so i thought it'd be fun to have oversized seats that people could like literally just stand in.
And I thought that also was just kind of different from a, you know, it's unique to something you could do in this world.
So that's where I started.
I can't remember if I gave it any visual references, but visual references are smart.
I might have just, I think I just kept it to
text to be honest and then it spit out you know the first iteration of this which was like pretty
solid like the glasses as is that was a one shot that was like first prompt like the structure of
that theater and those glasses that was that was the. And I was like, I was shocked to be honest.
Um, and also like, you can definitely do higher end models through like GLBs, you know, like
traditional modeling exported as a GLB and then converted to MML. But I kind of am vibing with
the like more primitive low poly vibe that Claude outputs. Like it has like a very Roblox, like it sticks out, which I like, you know,
this beautiful other side environment.
And then you have like what we're building that like, it doesn't clash to me,
but it like stands out. It's like an L2 almost. Right.
And I just like, I like that vibe. So I'm leaning into it.
Like, and not only that, but like, it's just better.
It's just better for the game too
so that's kind of the genesis of how that
prompt it as a whole thing
or you go hey I want a chair look like that and then you
put everything together or it really build it like the whole package with with chairs and yeah so i i
did just that prompt it it came out and it had um i was like detailed in the prompt about like yeah
oversized chairs things like that but but then But then the iteration process is all about screenshotting for me.
So, you know, you want to take that code, right?
It basically gives you the MML file, which is just, again, it's just text.
So I always ask Claude, like, give it to me in text so I can copy and paste it.
So I copy that, and then I go to mmleditor.com.
You create, you sign in, you create a project.
Each project is an item basically.
So you create a project and it opens up like a four split view
of a traditional like 3D viewport.
So you have a 3D viewport, you have one window for the code, one window
shows you your objects, much like if you're in Blender, it's like the, you know, it's like the
details tab where it shows you objects, names, and like the organization of that root tree.
So I take that code, I paste it into, you know, the line for code there on the
bottom left. And once you paste it in, it shows you visually what it looks like in a 3D viewing
environment. You can rotate around, move in, move out, right, with the WASD keys, just like
in other side. And so you visually see what it's doing. And so from that point forward,
I just start screenshotting parts of the cinema I like.
And first off, I show Claude the results
so that Claude can see what it did, right?
So I say, hey, here's how it came out.
And Claude's like, oh, sweet, banger.
And it's like, yep, nice.
This is looking great already.
And then I start screenshotting like, hey, nice. This is looking great already. And then I start screenshotting
like, Hey, this, uh, the marquee is kind of looking funny. Like, what can we do about this?
And then we talk about it. And then with me, I always like to prompt Claude, like, don't just
jump in. Let's talk. Let's align. Let's get like totally synced up. So I know you understand what
I'm getting at and you're not just guessing and then build so
like and I've built that into my cloud file so it knows with me like don't just jump in like always
we start in plan mode basically right and once once we're like 90 aligned then we build
so I just start screenshotting this stuff like hey the chairs are too tall because I want to be able
to see uh the person in front of me I want to be able to see the person in front of me.
I want to be able to see like the top of their head just so I can see if Graple's like sitting
in front of me like I could I can fuck with them. Right. So so, you know, I just start
screenshotting, iterating. And then once you're happy, you hit publish. Right. So at the top of
in the editor, there's a little publish button.
You hit publish, and then you can publish it as a static or dynamic MML.
Static is like, it's baked, you're done.
Dynamic is something where you can open that up,
and if you place an object, if you start iterating inside the editor,
it will reflect those changes live in the world so dynamic is cool there's limitations to it but it is cool so
like an example would be if i have the theater on the on the in the other side if i want to swap out
the media on the fly live you would do that with a dynamic mML. You would, I would just change,
you know, it points to an MP4 file.
I would just highlight that link,
delete it, put in the new link of the new video,
and it would swap it live in other side.
So that's like changing the video out.
If you had a jukebox like DC has,
you can change the songs that way.
So dynamic is really cool.
And that's kind of what you're seeing with Frosty's build.
and an MML editor kind of squeezed into
because it's updating as you
Most of the time, though, you're going to be making a
So you're going to hit publish static MML.
It's going to spit out a URL for you and it'll say copy, right?
And then this is what you take into that asset library that we were talking about on the other side of VibeMaker page.
You paste that into your asset library.
You name it. So i just called it you know
theater and then when you go in the game um once you have that it's called the mml role
once you have that role you have access to a new overlay system and so one of them is a new button
which is just the m button you hit m it brings up a menu of that exact asset library, right? A list of
objects. You click, I click on theater. It appears suddenly you can move it around. You can rotate
it. Once you're happy with where it is, you click again and it places the object. And that's,
that's the full process. So it's prompting in Claude, previewing in MML editor,
prompting in Claude, previewing in MML Editor, pasting in your asset library, and then placing
objects in the game. Now, if that sounds complicated or confusing for some people,
it's really not that tough. Once you start getting into it, you're just like, okay, this is simple.
The good news is, and this is like one of the little alpha bits I can share. And I think we're kind of deep into this that I can start
leaking some of the alpha, right? This whole workflow will be in game at some point. And
that point is probably sooner than later. So I still would encourage people to start doing this
now. But if you're just like, you know, I'm kind of good on this.
This is just already too many steps for me.
Just know that in-game this is all going to be possible
and this workflow will be unified under one roof.
And so it's just going to get better and better every week,
which is really exciting.
So don't fret if you're just like, you know,
not geeked on, on this whole
workflow, but I would still encourage it because I think learning Claude, learning how to use LMMs,
like if that's a skill I think everyone should have like moving forward in life. So I still
would just 100% encourage that. Um, and even once it is all in game under one one contained kind of window like you still could
iterate better probably if you know this whole process to be honest and i'd probably still be
going outside of the app to do certain things and then bringing it inside the app so you know what's
the thing about vibe coding i talked to a few people in a few people in IRL and they were like, man, I don't have time
I wanna hire some people to do it for me.
But I think if you learn how to Vibe Code,
the feedback loop is so quick, right?
It's very tough to hire someone.
Basically, if you hire someone,
they will tell you what they did and what worked,
I think learning it by yourself is a cheat code because you can do stuff in like minutes, right?
And you immediately see what worked, what didn't work, how you feel about it.
So I think this is great.
I am by no means an expert.
I have no coding background, no dev experience.
I literally watched that first video that Figgy dropped.
And because I was aware of some of these tools, I was like, okay, like, all right, I see cursor.
I see he's going to the MML editor.
I see he's been pasting that link into some asset library backend for other side.
And I literally just jumped into Claude knowing those three things and was like all right how do
we do this like I don't even look for tutorials like I don't do google searches I'm just all
inside Claude just talking like you don't have to when people are like I want to learn Claude
like you just sit down and talk to Claude that's how you learn Claude. Like just straight up. Like you just, you know, like get in the room
with Claude and talk. Like you, you, you really start learning quickly. Like it's not this,
like, I got to go spend time to find the best tutorial. And then I got to watch the 30 minute
tutorial. It's like, no, you just start having a conversation. It's like, if I wanted to learn
French and I just went up to you grateful. I'm like, do you know French? Let's start teaching me French. And you're like, okay,
here's the first word. And I'm like, okay, cool. Got that. You know? And then we were like, hang
out in a bar. Right. And then it's like, Hey, how do I order a drink? You're like, here's how you
order a drink. Like that's, that's Claude. It's like, you guys are at the bar. You're trying to
learn this stuff. You don't need to go outside the bar, you know, take a French class and come
back to the bar. Just stay in the bar.
So that's how, that's like
that's the best one, man. That's 100%
I think it would be really cool to do
You know, let's say there's going to be, you know, 10 steps and the first one will be, hey, create a to do something similar with vibe-coded objects.
Let's say there's going to be 10 steps and the first one will be, hey, create a chair,
basketball court, football court, etc.
And we could have a step-by-step process
from simple objects to the much more complicated ones.
And people could compete what's better.
I don't know, there could be really dope competition or something like that people can compete
against with what they built.
You know, I can see AlphaDigen, he would probably build huge oranges there.
But the possibilities that we have right now, like imagine when we joined nfts when
i joined in like 2020 there was nothing like that it's it always amazed me man i'm always like this
is not real it's it's absolutely crazy and it costs like it costs like 20 a month you know the
basic claw plan which is also not so yeah and i really hype about a lot of credits making this
cinema so like if you just want to be on that basic plan,
like that's, that was my whole point.
I'm like, I'm not going to do this open claw,
have all these people doing things.
And I'm sure that's maybe a better workflow,
but I wanted to keep it simple.
So I think on that base plan in a chat window,
you still could do a lot.
And like, look, at the end of the day if
you're just like like you said your friend wants to hire someone if you don't want to do this stuff
the greatest thing is like an asset library is already being compiled so as a player if you want
to go in there and just see like what's available already that's vetted working and you just want to
start placing stuff like legos you know or fortnite or roblox like you can do that so like from a participant level you could that it could be just that simple
for you so i i feel like if any of this is over your head like i wouldn't get discouraged i'd stay
connected and locked in because there's going to be libraries of things you can place. And you're already seeing that, right?
He's already got like a built-in library of objects you can place, um,
which is cool. So, you know, and any, anything, anyone builds,
you just need the link to. So if someone builds something you like,
you can just be like, yo, can I use that? And if they're cool with it,
they send you the link and it's like, boom. So it's, it's, I think it's so approachable at any level that you're starting. Um, so I just
want to like really hit that on the head. Um, and then for like the visual learners in the audience,
I haven't confirmed this yet, but maybe towards the end of the week with Tropical, we're going
to do like a screen share of more visual workflow. So workflow so like i know mac like has said in the past like these spaces are great
but it's a lot of words so we're gonna do like a visual sit down with the screen share and i
literally could just walk through also what we're talking about in terms of that cinema so that's
that might be thursday or friday i'll put a i'll get an announcement going on that
but that's that's coming very soon maybe we could do competition here right let's kick off with some
object that people should create and we'll see uh who creates the the most crazy one right we can
share it on the timeline that can be really thing, how to onboard more people. And one more thing, you mentioned Figgy.
Guys, do you remember those Daniel
tweeted about them on November 2025
yesterday or two days ago. I was like, I can't
wait for these. And Figgy commented that
they are coming. They are coming with
1.4 update. So we should get 1.3 updates this thursday
so the next one will bring probably these avatars and figgy also said that um there's going to be a
lot of voyager updates which is really exciting it's crazy to see other side growing underneath
our hands like i mentioned that i started playing Fortnite, which is basically game in development for,
it's been for 14 years, right?
And we can be part of other sides so early.
That's why I believe that it's really important
to actually have a skin in the game
in terms of doing something there,
learning something there, right?
be really valuable. And I'm
constantly thinking what to learn because
there are so many things to learn these days.
Like you can learn whatever, right?
I always have been talking about
other side that I want to build something there.
actually make it possible for me to
do it so should uh absolutely love it guys should i leak one little alpha thing related to your
voyager update yes okay no no no no no don't be machiavel this is this is no no no guys um
in terms of like those updates you mentioned like like in soon, like, soon, coming soon,
some new mechanics around how XP and levels are gained,
that restriction will be lifted
at some point damn so when they lift it alpha region will stop calling me a kink until i reach the top level
again so yeah i'm level 40 guys say keep leveling up i think that's the alpha also share with me
in the comments what you want to build in the other side. And we're going to come up with something for you. And, you know, I don't know what we could tell everybody to build, but I will think about it. Also, I saw, I don't know how is that possible. I saw some addresses in the comments.
I saw some addresses in the comments and Mimu actually shared that if you want to learn more, join the space, of course you're here.
But if you share your wallet address, you have a chance to get GTD hype.
Do you want to add anything? How can people participate?
Yeah, literally just add your wallet.
Obviously, it's going to be a...
Obviously, it's going to be a, I haven't talked about it, we'll talk about it in the next couple of weeks.
I haven't talked about it.
We'll talk about it in the next couple of weeks.
It's an Ape Chain Mint coming up.
Put your wallet in the purple pill in Grateful Space.
Make sure you tag Grateful as well, just to show him some love.
But we'll be talking more about this over the next couple of weeks.
So, Mimu will be a little project on the side here,
as it will be a free mint for all you people that are supportive of ApeChain
but also to the apes to a lot of the ApeChain community this is gonna be a fun little fun
little gift back to the community so looking forward to that but yeah put your put your
wallet in the in the comments and I'll be definitely selecting a few people so appreciate
it grateful thank you legend so much and guys please retweet the space so more people can see it
and join us. This is an incredible topic. I love it. And you know, we've been around the other side
since day one here, so it's great to see the progress. I also see, or probably don't see
because it's so bright, but AlphaDigen here with his orange beanie and orange background,
and I don't know what else
orange alpha dj how you doing bro turn the monkey bro return the monkey m-o-n-k-e return the monkey
what's the box monkey bro return the monkey man you gotta you you gotta understand the lord bro
every now and then you gotta return the monkey. So I'm a monkey man today.
I'm feeling real good about it.
Today is a beautiful day in Atlanta, Georgia. If your day is not beautiful, let me send you some of these sun rays.
It's probably about 71 degrees.
So I'm feeling great about it.
Always good to be on the Grateful Show.
Somebody just got squoze.
I think it was cinema for the alpha and just gave it to us.
So, hey, man, I think I need to level up to level 40.
And 40 and beyond, almost like infinity and beyond.
I'm looking forward to what's to come with the other side.
Like he said, this game Fortnite that everybody's riding on the testicles of
has been in development for 14 years,
and probably longer than that before they started, you know,
But, you know, other side is just a few years into making it.
Since they scrapped it, it's even less.
So, you know, and it has grown in leaps and bounds
in ways that you cannot imagine.
And with the way the tech stack is now, it's accelerated.
So it's got solid rocket boosters on it and shit.
So, yeah, man, if you don't feel the potential of the other side
and what it can be, where it is now and where it's going forward,
you're not even here for the right thing.
Get out of this space. You know what? Matter of fact, send your bags to me and go home and go eat some tacos on
Taco Tuesday. Yeah, man, definitely. I'm glad you let me out, bro. I will stop right there. I saw
Hype's hand come up with his orange PFP. And Hype, go ahead and represent the orange, baby boy.
First of all, not baby boy and i'm not orange bro just the
pfp um just let's be clear about that for a sec all right uh but i wanted to tell like uh this
little story because i think you know cinema will appreciate because it is mml based so i was able
to you know finally get in there and and put my objects and i think the key is to to feed your
your claude the ammo documentation but you know one thing I like is that you, you kind of take
these stories away as kind of like your first moments. So I finally was able to put something
in the world and I put a bridge. Okay. And I was like, all right, I see in the distance is Island.
It's pretty far out there. So I went back in, I coded again and I'm like, all right,
this is not long enough. So I did an 8,000 foot long bridge, uh, out into the distance.
And then I was like, okay, I'm going to walk this
bridge, but it took me like 11 minutes to walk all the way out there. So I'm like, no, fuck this.
I will put a conveyor belt. So I finally put a conveyor belt. I get to the end and I see this
Island in the distance. Grateful. It's a beautiful, like little Island with the, with the tree. It's,
it's, it's pink on top. So I was like, you know what? I'm close enough. I must start flying. So
I take off. I glide for another 20 minutes.
And you know how we all see, like, are we getting closer?
So I see the clouds going by.
I see the rocks going by.
I'm getting closer and closer.
I'm like, oh, motherfucker, I'm almost there.
23 minutes later, guess what happens?
I'm like two feet short, and I hit it, and I fall.
So that was a real island? That wasn't just like
part of the... It was real, bro.
The map of the... I went so far.
You know the spinning rock?
What do you call those? They're basically like the portals or
Like the gates? Kind of like the stargates. Yeah, the gates. I got
so close. I was able to jump on one of them, but
I didn't obviously because I was aiming for this island.
But I was like two feet short, so I get to this island. I'm just getting there and I just miss it. I just fall
And I was like fuck it i'm done
Damn, I hope you got some points for gliding at least geez
No, but anyways the point i'm trying to make is you can create memories even from things like that
But it's really cool that you can
Kind of vibe your own stuff, but I was doing it to just be mischievous to see how far I can get.
And it's just the fact you can do certain things to kind of create
achievements for yourself or experiences.
I think that's what I want to take away from this.
I think also what you're touching on is how cool this biome is, right?
This is a new biome. It's a sky deed.
So it's even fun to just load in and experience what that looks like.
And I guess I could share a little more alpha,
but that being a new deed is not by mistake.
And I think other biomes are going to be rolling out.
And I think when people are making their MML objects, you can start.
I mean, even with the theater, like part of the whole design of the theater is really based on that sky deed. I was like, I want something big because of like what hype's talking about.
You can see things in the distance.
So that was all me building Taylor to the, to that, that biome.
me building tailored to the to that that biome so you know uh in the in the future when the other
biomes are rolling out like you can start tailoring specific experiences to specific biomes
and uh so i think that's going to be exciting to see all these these things come to life
at full scale right so that's that's on the horizon
i love the the sound design there like when you can hear the wind it's incredible it's incredible
and it's really bright there it reminds me like i'm in a heaven so yeah i i checked my portfolio
no it wasn't heaven but uh at least in the other side, it feels like that.
It's so cool that you guys have been building here. Also, can you imagine that Yuga actually acquired a team of 25 or 26 people that they have these tools and they can vibe coach it like out of those tools?
25 people, like they have to build like uh manhattan or
something like one to one and within a week that's that's what i'm guessing because it's it's really
insane um what's the art of prompting with uh these objects like what would you recommend cinema
uh let's say i want to create a basketball court. Like how would you prompt that? I tried a few things. I was really like, I was like,
hey, create me a basketball court like in Miami, you know, chilled outside, but it didn't
do great job. So I probably have to be more descriptive, right? So how would you approach
that? Hey, grateful. Can I get out of here real quick? Cinema, sorry about stepping on
your Louis V slides, but I got to go, man.
I got a two o'clock, bro.
I just didn't want to jump off and be rude.
I'll see you on the next one.
If I get off this call soon enough, I'll jump back on.
If not, we'll see you on the next one.
Yeah, it's messed up with the time zones, guys,
but we have like 18 days,
and then the US and the rest of the world
You know, I don't know how they even call it like summertime or whatever.
But yeah, best way to prompt it depends on your intention.
Like, do you want to like a photorealistic court?
Do you want a Roblox style court?
Like that's where it starts.
I would like to have it like in columbus park in in nyc because
that in 2022 i went there that was the first thing i visited during nft nyc 2022 that was
absolutely legendary week in nyc for me and i saw franklin playing there that was that
uh what was the name of the basketball tournament there?
It probably doesn't matter, but it was incredible.
So I would like to recreate that basketball court
and have it in the other side.
There's been a couple basketball games, right?
That have that as like a level or a setting.
NBA Streets? that was that old school
playstation game um i would look for images from that game and feed that into claude um as like a
start because that's already taking like that real environment it's did like it's kind of
digitized it if you will right so i think screenshotting like images is always i think the most helpful um i built
i built a replica imax camera and a replica dolly like one that we actually use in real life
and i took the cad drawings from those two items and threw it in and claude had a lot better
results with the dolly once it had the cad drawing.
So I don't think like the, again, context in minutia, like the more you give it, the
more it just, it just has great success.
So, um, alternatively though, if you want something more photorealistic, like you can
go on to like asset place marketplaces, uh the fab store for example which is like
an unreal marketplace um like the the ufo i have is like partly built from just an asset i downloaded
from that marketplace and then i converted it to mml so you could even just like start looking
at basketball courts on marketplaces and then try to convert them. You need to be very conscious of the polygon count.
But most assets that are built for games already take that into consideration.
So that's like you're already kind of a good step there.
And then one thing about the MML editor that's kind of cool.
Beyond code, there is a tangible element to it where for the theater, right?
I kept prompting Claude like, hey, the wall is in the wrong place. Beyond code, there is a tangible element to it where for the theater, right?
I kept prompting Claude like, hey, the wall is in the wrong place and like move it.
And it was struggling with that a little.
But in the editor, you can select the wall and you can move it yourself.
So sometimes I just do that, to be honest. Like I wanted the marquee to come forward a little.
I just clicked on the marquee object slid it forward and then
told claude hey i updated the code on my end i copy pasted it into the chat window i'm like
here's the new reference for you for our code um because i made manual changes on my end so
you you can like tangibly start sculpting that manually and not just with code as well. So keep that in mind.
So visual, visual references, grateful is what I'd start with. And also just curiosity,
ask Claude, tell him what you want to build. Say, this is what I want to build. How's the best way
for me to describe this to you? Or what do you need to know? And it will say, I need to know A, B, C, D, E, F. So like, really, I think like curiosity is your greatest asset
with Claude. Like asking Claude, you know what I mean? Starting there. Like, um, if you have a good,
if you think you have a really clear vision, go ahead, like throw it in the prompt, but like,
just start that conversation conversation start in plan mode
before you build always like that's what i do start in plan mode plan it out talk it through
and then go from there yeah that's that's what i'm going to do man i i need some i will probably
ask claude what to build next um what to try and give it a time
and make it live in the Vitemaker world.
Feed it your Twitter feed and then be like...
because it usually say that
it cannot read my tweets so do you just
copy those tweets or do you have any
I haven't even done API connections yet,
but I just fed it a URL and it,
it seemed to scrub it fine.
just screenshot your like,
go to your like highlight page maybe,
your favorite posts that you've,
you've saved personally and just,
And then after it like builds that profile, you'd be like, what do you think I should build? Like. And then after it builds that profile,
you'll be like, what do you think I should build?
And then it'll come up with some really great ideas.
So that's even like, if you're like,
I don't even know where to start.
Go to X, feed Claude your highlight section,
ask it, what should I build?
Well, 100% do that man and we're talking about objects right you build a cinema um can these objects be uh like foundation for for something bigger for for some like even gameplay
loops or anything like that where do you see the evolution of of this man like uh
uh yeah i mean even like on saturday honeybee had like a tiered thing he built and each level
was a different like movement mechanic and that's just like simply playing with the animation
attributes but like and that's at the base level. But each level was a different challenge, essentially. So yeah, your imagination is kind of the limit.
And also, if you train Claude on the constraints, you just can ask Claude,
like, hey, is this currently possible?
And then just always, you know, there's one of the websites is kind of like a log
of all the things they updated.
Like, I'm constantly feeding that to Claude just so it knows like, oh, okay, this is now possible.
So, yeah, I mean, there's been a lot of MML experiences already over the last three years that like show you what's possible from a game standpoint, from a game loop standpoint.
So I think all this is on the table.
And what's your vision for the other side?
Like your personal goal, let's say for 2026,
what would you love to achieve there?
Build or how do you think about it?
I always think everything for me in terms of experiential and immersive experience.
That's kind of partly my background,
and I just think immersive experience is so powerful.
So I mean, I've already kind of actioned that, right?
Like the Food Friday account does a post every Friday.
Last Friday was throwing those objects in,
encouraging people to come through, take photos, right?
So my approach is always going to be from that how to immerse someone based around a story or an activation
and the coolest thing about MML is you could just iterate on that fast you could iterate on that
literally in mid experience which is cool so that's kind of how I'm focused and looking at things.
And then just supporting events, right?
Like Mac had Chaos Trials.
So it's like updated the cinema to reflect Chaos Trials.
And if anyone else is doing an event and you want me to update the cinema
to your media and your marquee, let me know.
It's an easy swap and I'm happy
about just immersive experience.
And these experiences are incredible.
You can see it in the other side already
curated experiences for people.
And I also remember that MLB experience,
that was built by the team that Yuga acquired.
I wish we had maybe a little bit more of that these days,
so we can go maybe once a month to experience
also something like from sports or concerts or anything like that,
because other side can host so many people at once right i don't
know how much it cost to actually host like a thousand two thousand people but it was incredible
to watch baseball in the uh it was another side but it was you know similar world made by uh
probably improbable so yeah these experiences are great um yeah imagine you're playing other games
right and whether it's the theater or just a screen like
because i'm usually filming the other games so imagine if you had kind of could take what i'm
filming and pipe that to a screen so that in between challenges you're watching other players
like this could this can really build up you know quickly and kind of be like that mlb experience
that you you talked about. It's exciting.
For folks not familiar with that experience, can you talk about a little bit of what it was
and what you could do just so people understand what's possible with MML?
Yeah, it was absolutely crazy
because if I understand it correctly, they took a live game
that was happening live and they somehow
uh i don't know how they did it but they project the players into into the some some kind of world
like other side so you could see those players in 3d playing the same game that was uh you know
on tv probably and you could walk around around, you could talk with other people,
you could, you know, watch the game from different angles. You were really close to the players.
It was a great experience. I can imagine watching basketball like that. I don't know how hard it is
to actually map the players. I don't understand how they did it, but it was really nice. And it
showed what can be done, i remember those improbable
demos back in the day and once that we had a like a musical event or how to call it and they actually
made me song live during that experience right so i'm always thinking about the other side. How can people experience different things there
and have fun and enjoy it?
Because I think we are solving one huge problem,
The first problem is that we all live all over the world.
We are in different places and we want to hang out.
And you can fly for Ape Fest, of course,
but you cannot do it like every week.
So other side is a great tool to stay in touch
and stay in touch in a positive way,
not like on the timeline that you see stuff
I never had like negative experience
or negative feel from going to other side
for going to other games and so on, right?
And I think it can make a community so much stronger
and also onboard more people
because they won't see NFTs,
but they will see experiences,
they will see something that they can learn,
I'm really excited about this part
because when I got into NFTs, I was constantly learning. I was learning about what solidity is, how to mint
from contract, how to set up gas, et cetera, et cetera. And the learning, I think it's really
important. Now we are learning about vibe coding, creating your objects, et cetera, et cetera.
That's what like people outside are not doing, doing. And I think it can be very beneficial for all of us here
You never know. You can always connect the dots only backwards. You never know what's going to
happen in a few months. And maybe there will be need for people
who know how to build those objects or
you will build something really cool for your community.
And we have so many incredible people here in the audience, right?
I see Nana, I see Law, Sivu, Adder, CoolChick,
you know, I will go a few lines here,
BadRass, Who'sBig, JMO, Rillas, Uncle Mac, The Legend,
Zombira, BuckedUp, GMA, Dirt, Vegas, ApeSpit,
and BeautifulCoda, EdMac, and so on and so on.
Of course, I see MarathonCrypto, the best basketball player in Web3.
And yeah, I will go through the rest of the room in a bit.
But so many legends here.
And imagine, every one of you guys can build custom thing in the other side.
So I think it's really worth uh learning do you have in mind
any experiences if you want to share cinema um that you would love to build in the other side
uh yeah i mean eventually i was building out like a whole back lot essentially for
so my my mba is is called rooftop pictures it's a My background is in film and filmmaking, so it's a full-on production studio
that now kind of straddles the line between in real life
and now this new world that we're in, right?
So yeah, I mean, it's always, if you go to that site,
It was always my intention to build that studio out
as a sort of backlot for UGC and some other fun things. So, yeah, some of the drops I've done over the
years have taken place inside this rooftop digital soundstage. So, bringing that to life
on Adid is one of those intentions. Um, and just unlocking places
for people to create, um, content. And, uh, I think, I think for me, other side is the most
underrated part of that is it's like a new canvas. It's like a new, uh, sandbox for content creation,
especially with MML. Now it's just like on the spot, you can just add stuff, right?
Even if you plan all this out, you've built this thing,
and then you're like in the middle of doing it.
You're like, oh, shit, we need this.
It's like, okay, hold on a second.
So I think it's really underrated from that lens of UGC.
I see a lot of this stuff with like our creators right now,
people making content around that.
And I consume that content and enjoy it.
So I see the other side as a sandbox for that,
and we've already kind of done some of that.
Like I did a thing with other games guys.
last year, I think it know last year i think it
was last year where we had like a script you know wrote a script for a film filmed it with mac and
g-spot and hype right and it was this the joke was kind of the mac's voice went out and he couldn't
perform his like iconic red light green light because he had smoked too many code of slims
you know and so we like filmed that inside the other side.
And the approach was very much like how I would work on a film set.
It was like, okay guys, here's the script.
He has the second camera.
So like, this is the greatest thing about other side is to me,
I see a lot of talk about like browser-based games
But for me with a filmmaking background,
I love that the other side is built on Unreal Engine
because there's so much from a filmmaking tool standpoint
that is tied into Unreal Engine in terms of cameras,
in terms of how to create things.
That to me, it's just like a major unlock.
Like I have my favorite lenses in real life.
I have the characteristics of those lenses mapped
to the digital lenses I use in Unreal Engine.
So they're literally emulating my favorite lenses
And that's something you can do in Unreal Engine.
And I think that's like really powerful and overlooked.
So I love Unreal Engine. And I think that's really powerful and overlooked. So I love Unreal Engine.
So I love that the other side is built on top of that engine.
Man, that's absolutely incredible.
Man, I have to also do it, man.
You can create your own movie if you have...
We need cinema mode in the other side.
I know you can turn off the names, which helps a lot.
But can you get rid of all those other elements that you have on screen?
That would be perfect for movies.
There's notes being passed around.
And that's definitely all being taken into consideration.
So, yeah, 100%. I think that's also how we taken into consideration so yeah 100 i think
i think that's also how we get eyeballs right on this thing is like you making something or whoever
making something and then and it's not so much about like here's the other side here's what we
can do this is about nfts it's just like a fun story it's just like a funny someone's at a dinner
table and they're like you know you see that video i mean even like with the uh figgy's uh you know ai codas it's like yo did you hear about the two or the four
ais that like debated about a certain religion that one of them made like that's a great that
that is a great story that could be told at a dinner table right um and i think that's the
kind of things that are going to move the needle for other side. So everything I'm doing is geared towards pushing in that direction.
And that sort of UGC content lens.
That's for me a big thing.
Yeah, it makes so much sense, man.
Absolutely love this. And I think we are still early,
but we are progressing quite quickly.
I can't wait for the new update on Thursday
Also, I wanted to ask you here live.
When I created that sword,
it had some kind of like a note above it with,
I don't know how to zoom in there,
but yeah, with some kind of like a note above it with, I don't know how to zoom in there, but yeah, with some kind of name.
Is that an error of the...
Was that a name that you inputted?
To me, that looks like a label.
So that's a good note on the MML.
There's a thing you can do called MLabel,
if you want to put text on something.
But the bummer with that is,
at least I couldn't figure this out maybe dc can but it seems to me like a limitation of mml when you make a label it has text and it has to have some sort of background so that image you
sent me looks like either you prompted it or claude prompted it on its own but it made a label
and so it's just like let's label this sword Excalibur for bad,
for just a bad example. So you'd see Excalibur,
but then behind that text, you'll see a background.
So you'll see like a black background, gray background.
Like that happened to me on the cinema.
I wanted the cinema logo at the top and I had just my letters cinema, right?
With the Greek, the Greek J or whatever that is.
And it had the letters, but it had this weird backing.
And I'm like, oh, that looks terrible.
So for me, the workaround is, and we haven't really dug into this yet,
but you can host, like when you want to get to the next level of this,
hosting objects is helpful because I basically just took a PNG
of the logo I wanted to create I basically just took a PNG of, of the logo I
wanted to create that I just created in Photoshop. I host that PNG and then I point, I point the MML
code to where that's hosted. And now that's like a proper logo. Uh, the marquee works the same way.
Like the front of the marquee is actually just a plane that has a png map to it
and it points to the png that i have hosted which is a marquee i created and whenever i want to swap
out the marquee i'm just pointing it to a different png that's hosted and i'm using cloudflare it uh
they have r2 storage on there it's free it's free to sign up it's free to do the storage on there. It's free. It's free to sign up. It's free to do the storage.
I've put a lot of stuff on there and they haven't yelled at me yet.
So yeah, and it's really easy.
You put it on Cloudflare and just like MML, it generates a URL.
And if you were to copy paste that URL into your web browser, it would literally display
the image or if it's a video, play the video.
You know, it's just like how IFPS works, right?
With our NFTs, where it's like you click on it and it opens up a new browser window and it's just the image.
And it has where it's stored as a URL.
So that's kind of the workaround there, Grateful.
So I don't know if you were trying to brand that
and that's what happened or if
Claude took some liberties and was like
I'm gonna call this sword a name
I deleted the label and it's gone
and I think I have a first object that I will
love it screenshot that that I will publish in that Vibe Maker world today. Let's go. Okay.
Love it. Screenshot that.
the Barbarian, that's the sword
going to be... So I cannot place it
or publish it in the Vibe Maker
world that everyone can actually
go there and see that sword yeah you can place it crazy we got we got you some access so yeah
um it's cool that you're not scared bro it's not that you you're not scared because man when i
start vibe coding man it's gonna be it's gonna be crazy i'm not scared no that's the whole point of this is like to see
where it goes you know even like if some something bust bust the world like i like i don't to me i
think like there shouldn't be like a shame to that that should be like oh shit grateful broke
the world like you know what i mean it's like we're as a community pushing this forward and
testing it so it's part of why i made a giant cinema. Cause I was like,
can I even do this? Is this, is this allowed?
I think it's important to touch on some like caveats now that we're talking
about placing objects. And like,
I can speak to some of the things I've learned from like a do's and don'ts
Like don't obviously just place your object on top of other people's objects i
think we should you know let's try to have like some respect for what people have placed
you know no no like whacking out anyone's murals right like just you know if i wanted to create a
huge pigeon and put it on the roof of your cinema bro yeah you can you can try that you can try that. You can try that.
I think the other thing, too, is, like, don't block the portal jumpers,
because if you do that, it'll be hard for us to get around.
it is anymore but when you use if you place an object let's say you place your sword grateful
I don't know if it is anymore. But when you use, if you place an object, let's say you place your sword,
and then while you've placed your sword you delete that object uh out of the mml like you've published
it as a static ml if you delete that and it's placed live in the world that used to not have a
that used to like crash the world i don't know if it crashes the world but that's in general just i wouldn't do that that would that's like the one little no-no um
yeah keep in mind of your polygons um and and if you don't know like what are my polygons you
can just ask claude be like can you help me with the polygon count here? It'll be very obvious if you place
an object and then you notice like the whole world slows down. This has happened
a couple of times where someone placed like a giant thing and it was
like the world got glitchy, started slowing down. Then it's like, you know,
that's where us as a community is like, okay, who just placed that
like oh grateful okay yeah like delete that baby go go go back into Claude work on that and then
come back come back because uh yeah like uh the the portal jumpers don't work anymore now because
if you're uh you know 20 story tall pigeon so um I think another fun thing we could talk about. So you're going
to place your first object, right? So to encourage education and excitement over MML
and just people learning this, um, the other side account is going to, is going to roll out
something soon called proof of MML, which is going to be like a, a kind of weekly or bi-weekly series where it's going to feature
someone like grateful. And I grateful, I kind of asked you this behind the scenes. I don't know
if I saw you reply. So I'm kind of putting it out. Oh, you did. Take it out. Check it out. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Great. I was going to put you on the spot, but okay. So grateful is going to be our
first, our first person roll out for this.
And it's just going to be a fun post showcasing what he built, how he did it, what his experience was.
And it's to encourage, you know, folks to jump into this.
It's to give people flowers that are trying this and it's just to have fun with this.
Like I think through other people people seeing people jump into this
and not just like quote unquote experts,
just regular folks approaching this.
I think they'll get inspired
and have some fun with it.
And also they just deserve to be showcased.
So yeah, the other side of the account,
I'll send you a questionnaire.
You just kind of answer that
what you made with a little write-up and
I can't wait for that. I can't wait
for it. It's going to be crazy. It's going to be crazy.
It's not going to be orange
for sure, but it will be amazing.
Can't wait. this is awesome man uh
how i mentioned i've been playing fortnite for a while to test a few things out right so you have
a fully built world there with the different mechanics uh i tried roblox but i don't like
that much roblox is more like YouTube for games from what I understand
so where do you see other side
yeah that's probably the question
you know where do you see other side compared to other
like you know Fortnite, Roblox
and other games that are out there
I mean this is just like my
through my lens and my opinion
I feel like other side could be more of a mature Roblox out there. I mean, this is just like my through my lens and my opinion.
I feel like Other Side could be more of a mature Roblox. Like, did you
feel like Roblox is pretty spammy when you went
vibe of the games, right?
kids are really into that and I studied them
I also have to kind of watch them because it's a little...
There's just a lot going on in that game, which is problematic.
And that's kind of partly why there is an allow list right now for placing MML objects.
Because there does have to be some...
If you just open it up to anyone and someone goes and places something,
you know, really controversial, that's like problematic for everyone, right?
So there's like some community moderation there.
And Roblox, I think, is having a lot of issues with that at the moment, especially with little kids.
So as a parent, I'm like already very, my guard is very high for my kids playing that game.
But I think the cool thing about that game is there are a lot of i've seen a lot of like uh flexibility in terms of what you can build
like in terms of like limits of what you can do objects you can place things you can make it does
seem like you there's so many there's such a diversity of experiences on that platform
so i feel like other side as as a diversity of experiences is that platform. So I feel like other side as a diversity of experiences
So that's kind of what I hope forms.
And I think MML really helps unlock that
because from an object creation standpoint,
it's like you could make anything.
So yeah, that's kind of how I hope that evolves evolves but when i said like a more mature roblox
like already graphics it's like just for me a notch better right like for me there's a lot of
like even the skyd the first time i loaded in there like like you said i was just in there like
soaking up the sun right like just vibing out in there i can't really vibe out in roblox personally so i think the vibe
out is underrated for other side so like even worlds that are just so scenically stunning and
like relaxing i think is is it's like an underrated thing so yeah like and then like with all the crypto rails in the back end, you know, like, so it's as a player, it's a game you play, you own your assets, you could own the world that you've created, like, that's already just a leg up right there. And each week, it's getting more and more invisible.
That's kind of like where I see it going.
And there's like a big push for browser-based stuff these days,
which I totally understand.
But for me personally, I hope the fidelity of these worlds carries through
because like me as a visual person, I just am so engrossed
in how stunning some of these plots are.
I think it's important to have
beautiful graphics because
if you go to the other side,
you want to have some kind of emotion,
right? Because you are spending
still have to count in for
VR because it's going to happen
everything will become more affordable and it's going to happen for sure, you know, the tech and everything will become
more affordable, and it's going to be easier probably to, you know, with AI to convert
So I really, I love Swamp.
I love, you know, when I want to chill, I go there, I love the music, I love the sound.
The deed that is in the Vibe Maker world is also relaxing. When I want to have something crazy, I go to music, I love the sound. The deed that is in the vibe maker world is also relaxing.
When I want to have something crazy, I go to Nexus, right?
It's more even visual, it's different.
So I can imagine, you know, jungle and, you know, acid deeds, etc.
Every deed can have different vibe and that can be really, really interesting.
can have different vibe and that can be really
really interesting so I 100% agree here
it's an incredible journey
since the mint and announcements
and Project Dragon and everything
it's you know and it was really
cool do you think we will have also
like such a huge event as a first
and second trip that would be really cool to have
yeah I think that's good you touched on that too also like such a huge event as a, as a first and second trip, that would be really cool to have.
Yeah. I think that's, that's good. You touched on that too.
If we're talking about like my hopes for what the other side becomes like,
yeah, I hope it's also this storytelling vehicle. Like, I mean, we,
we got to see this right with the intro to the Nexus, right?
That was fantastic. That, that reminded me of like Uncharted, right? Where you just start hanging off that train. And then that it's like one part cinematic, one part gameplay.
Like that I hope will continue.
And I think that's where it's really excited to start learning about the lore of this world.
Not on the timeline, not on a video, but through the other side.
That to me is like really powerful.
And you're kind of seeing that right on other platforms
like fortnight doing that kill bill film um so i think that's exciting i also think like i think
of the film ready player one a lot if you ever seen ready player one hundred percent yeah yeah
many times many times i feel like other sides like positioned really well for that kind of reality more so than like a
roblox right so that that's where like the fidelity of the graphics and the environments
i think is so important if you're talking about full immersion um so and the coolest thing is
like you're already seeing that with the avatars like i don't know the number count maybe hype or
mac know the count but like the number of communities avatars currently in game already it's like it's insane and that that
that more specifically is reminding me of ready player one than anything else it's just like
characters you know and are familiar like walking around amongst amongst and around you um it's
pretty wild there are 159
collections right now and
every collection has different
and 20,000 mutants, right?
I also love the storytelling part that you mentioned
because that can be so powerful.
We don't want to, or, you know, with Twitter,
you don't see all the posts, man,
but having something in the other side,
if you go to the swamp and you have maybe every month
different story there that you can be part of,
that's a different level. And imagine you can be part of that story with your friends. Oh my god,
even crazier. I can't help myself, but today's show really reminds me of early Other Space with
Baron and Nana, right? With all the speculation about what's going to happen in the other side.
That was crazy, man. I love those days. But now we finally have that those tools right now we have
those tools that we can use and build something and have fun and and test it and enjoy it so
one important thing that separates i think other side from roblox is you have your wallet right
you can easily send money into your wallet and you can easily send money out of that
wallet so for economies in the
other side I think it's really
powerful to be powered on
that whole back that's like it's underrated
that's where I think we're ahead of our time right
and I think about YouTube a lot
I've been thinking about I don't know this popped in my head yesterday on a time, right? And I think about YouTube a lot. I've been thinking about, I don't know, this popped in my head yesterday on a walk, thinking
I think about YouTube a lot, because YouTube is what, like 20 years in now?
And for me, I got out of school and YouTube was like, a lot of my contemporaries jumped
I worked on like some stuff back in the day.
I don't know if you ever watched Video game high school, which was a rocket jump
Freddie Wong's show, but like they had like a web series.
This was like 15 years ago.
Now I think they had like a web series on, on YouTube.
And there was a lot of YouTube creators that ran to that and the early people did really
well, but, but then they hit this wall, right.
Where, you know, how much you made per click went just gotten kind of
nerfed and new folks coming in were struggling i think it was kind of like not that it's dead
because you still have a ton of creators that survived that like i think of like corridor
digital and some of these these folks um mr beast obviously but now now not only is like youtube like i don't want to say it's
come back but but it's it's at the forefront like it's at the forefront such that you have studios
that are like yeah like we're really our new model is really thinking about youtube and you're just
like you like that they're like switching to that like i i can't tell you how many producers
production companies i've had conversations with that are like all their content.
Now they're just thinking in terms of YouTube.
And then furthermore, like Mr. Beast isn't just a creator.
Like he's now essentially a studio himself and he's competing with the likes of the studios and probably maybe doing better than them because, you know what I mean?
He doesn't have this crazy overhead and he's native to that platform.
So if you look at YouTube youtube it just was a matter
of the technology catching up right i think i think in those early days it was like no one's
gonna not go to theaters no one's gonna not watch tv they're not gonna watch their phones and their
laptops and now 20 years later it's like yeah we are actually people aren't going to theaters you
know and it's like i think part of that is Actually, people aren't going to theaters, you know? And it's like,
I think part of that is the technology caught up. Like, I watch that stuff on my TV, but now because of the Apple TV, which digitized all of that and then sends it to my TV, like that didn't
exist, right? Like, so it's like, I'm still consuming. They thought that like, that was the
pain point of like, no one's not going to want to watch it on tvs it's like i'm watching it on my tv i just the delivery system got better and so
i think that's where we're at with other side nfts and web3 is like the concept the technology
the idea is sound it's the delivery method right and you even touched about that on the timeline
like the timeline does us no favors for the delivery method like how many things do you miss how many posts do you not see so like i
think we're in the delivery method phase if we're comparing it to youtube where when that improves
like i really see this like coming to full fruition so um yeah
yeah we still 100 early but that's the beauty of that i i remember when youtube launched and quite early i uploaded a few videos and those videos actually got so many views it was crazy
man it's it's something that's not possible to do these days. Like it was such a dumb videos,
like some stupid stuff, right?
Because there were not enough videos on the platform,
And I think that's why I think it's important
to keep learning about other side, about those tools,
because you can use them in the other side,
but you can use them whenever you want, right?
That's the mantra since 2020.
It's the same with everything, with AI.
And I'm so happy and grateful that we have so many great builders in the community that
basically share the knowledge and share everything with us,
how to build stuff. Man, imagine me going somewhere, I don't know, even where, like,
hey, I want to build a game. Like, come on, man. It's very tough. So this is awesome. And I cannot
wait to actually bring my first object to the other side. It's going to be really exciting.
I have to screenshot it and share it. Man, you mentioned that your background is in cinematography.
Could you give us just like short story?
Because it was so popular.
I asked Tropical last time here how he ended up in Web3.
And could you give us your story, like how you ended up there?
I took a screenshot with you in the other side and someone called your ape there penis bro. I don't know what's going on
I don't know if it was Hypo who was that but what's going on man?
No, no, no, no, no, no, I didn't say penis. I'm just agreeing with you. What the fuck don't put on me
I didn't say penis, I'm just agreeing with you.
What the fuck? Don't put it on me.
Let me go to find a tweet.
Guys, also check the pinned tweets because Law pinned that MLB experience
and I will find a tweet that I actually shared.
That was beautiful, but I don't know who was that.
But I'm going to pin it up.
And... That was beautiful, but I don't know who was that. We'll see. But I'm going to pin it up. And damn, spaces are bugging, guys, because of those pinned tweets.
So, Cinema, if you could give us your journey, how you ended up here,
that would be awesome to learn a little bit more about you.
And it also makes great content, so I can create article.
I can create AI video. I can create AI video.
I can create object based on your journey.
Whatever, you know, whatever.
Everything's possible these days.
Yeah, I mean, my journey started as at a young age,
being in love with animation and traditional animation.
One of my best friends, his dad drew the genie and like Jafar and to watch him like if you ever watch a really well like a professional animator bring
a character to life like that not only do they do it in like five minutes because they're used to
drawing so much but it just like comes to life on the page right in front of you and it's it's pretty
incredible so that got me into art and drawing and stuff at a young age.
And then that progressed into going to film school at some point and coming out of school and being into film and filmmaking.
And then working in the film industry for 15 years and continuing that work.
And doing that work, I ended up getting into a lot of visual effects
and immersive experience uh type work and probably more specifically than anything else the immersive
experience kind of led me more into this world um because i saw like the potential of like
i think 10k tf was probably the most eye-opening and best example of a storytelling project
that had no bounds of a canvas.
And that, to me, was probably the most exciting thing.
Because for my whole world, it was like screen-based, like 2D flat screen, right?
And it used to be the theater.
And then slowly over time, it was the TV and then people's phones.
So it was just kind of degrading in terms of a final destination.
And then you see something like 10KTF come along and it's like,
they're telling a story on the timeline, in Discord, in real life, through media.
They built a freaking portal in fucking New York.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like you see stuff like that and you're just like, damn, that's,
filmmaker immersive experience fan that's to me like the coolest thing um and also just like
during code the film industry kind of shut down so i had like i had six months to really dig into
this this space here um and and look at alternatives of just, you know,
we all had, I think, a lot of time in 2020
And so that's where I discovered NFTs.
I had a couple of friends in this space
that had been talking about it.
And then I think I started taking them more seriously
when some of the infrastructure started to be built out.
Certainly when I came across tank ETF.
And then just like the built,
the audience here was the coolest thing.
like why I became an ape is like the support you get right on the
Like I would post stuff and there's all these folks like checking it out,
That's like the main thing is the encouragement.
Like just people being like, going you know so it's like very infectious and like if we're
talking about distribution paths because for me for film the biggest problem and the music
industry is the same way is the distribution and the gatekeeping artists filmmakers like
they're just stuck in this this world especially for music like
you need to have how many streams just to make like basically no income like it doesn't work
for artists and creators virtually no filmmaker has or owns their own ip ryan coogler made
headlines because he negotiated that like after i think it's like after 20 years he will then have the
own the ip to centers like so this space that was all about like owning ip and holding on to those
rights um it was fascinating especially the shared ip when i realized that like a company made would
make new ip and then essentially licenses it out as if like Nike were to give you the swoosh and say,
go crazy with it. Like that was mind blowing to me. That I think that was the major unlock was the,
the sharing of IP and like, here, go make a business off of your monkey JPEG. If you want
to like that, that probably is like the number one key for me because of the IP and just what you could do with that.
So yeah, that's kind of my, uh, my journey into this space.
And I think having or owning the IP and, and being able to create whatever you want with
And especially with 3D worlds like Other Side, man, you can build whatever you want.
And you can bring your friends there and experience it together.
We've been doing it with other games.
And I said that I miss the Saturday because of IRL.
And it really feels weird.
It feels like missing hanging out with my friends, IRL.
It feels exactly the same, like missing the IRL event.
And that's awesome about it, right?
With spatial audio, I remember we had a one test event in other side without spatial audio,
and I think that felt off, right?
So the spatial audio is great to chat with other people.
That's another great thing.
I mean, I think also like if I really distill it down,
like I think this is so underrated for our space
and people cannot appreciate it maybe because they just don't.
I can fully appreciate it coming from where I'm coming from.
But IP itself, like if you think about how important IP is to our world, everything's built on it, right?
Any product that you are consuming is being is built on the back of IP, right?
Coca-Cola's IP, like, I guess, you know, is can, is the look of their can, right? Those polar bears, they have to construct this whole framework based around IP to then
you to consume that product.
And much of it's based in storytelling, right?
And so for me with film, part of why some of these studios are having such a hard time
and a lot of things are dying and people aren't going to theaters is because they're trying to milk the same 100 year, 200 year, 50 year IP.
And it's like you can only make so many Frankensteins.
Like I can't believe even this year there were two freaking Frankenstein vehicles.
And it's like it's because the studios have all this IP they own.
it's like it's because the studios have all this IP they own and so when our space created fresh
brand new IP like to me that's such that's so important that's so important and again it's like
we're just ahead of our time I think on that you know I think the like Pokemon right Pokemon just
had its 30th year anniversary that's new IP that came into the world and look at the impact of its had. And it's taken 30 years for that to occur. But, you know, like, I just think
like CODAs, Apes, I mean, whatever your favorite collection is, right? I'm big into Ranga
and like that whole world that's been crafted out. I really dig that like this new IP, like it's so important.
Like, you know, I think that's underrated, underappreciated and like the world needs
new stories and new characters.
And that has emerged from this space, NFTs, that dirty word that people like to throw
around, but this IP has emerged from this space.
And I think that's so significant.
And the IP you mentioned is beautiful.
Like, if you look at the Kodas, Apes, Mutants, and so on and so on,
It's not like Fiverr stuff that you check, right?
It's really dope with 3D rigs, 3D avatars.
And I think the biggest problem that we all have that
that's the patience and that's also that we are really early and i know we've been saying that
for some time but i really believe that with ai everything will be moving much quicker than we
expected back in 2021 but we are still early and to to build IP, if you look at IPs,
just ask Claude or ChatGPT,
how much time does it take to build IP
so it become recognizable in the world?
So I believe in online and Web3 worlds,
it can be faster because the world is getting quicker and faster with AI
and all the progress, but man, it takes time.
And, you know, we are here to build it. We are here to do it.
So I'm really happy that I'm part of that because one thing
was that I was bored in Web2.
Like, there was nothing that exciting as Web3 back in the day, right?
It was a pure, like, euphoria.
That's what I'm saying, Grateful.
Like, you were bored with, like, some of these legacy IPs, right?
Like, how many Marvel movies can you consume?
Like, before you're just like, okay.
Like, so, you know, like, so yeah.
Exactly. Yeah. Um, man, I love today's space. It was great. I'm really pumped to create something
to bring my, uh, objects into other side and into life so other people can see them. I have to do this. I will
show you what I want to create. I'm not going to place it over your cinema. I'm not going to do
that, but I will show you what I want to create because that's going to be funny. And let's
quickly say hi to Chespi and then I have one more question question for you chespy what's going on are aliens here
with us man the question is are humans real that's the question right uh man but good morning to
everyone gmgm is always gm in web 3 mfr don't come with your goodnight shit because I will block you, you know, like instantly.
That's an instant block for me.
But grateful, man. Always cool to be here, man.
Right now, I just came to my friend's house.
I fired myself from my job because the Barcelona, it's about to play in one hour and 13 minutes.
It's about to play in one hour and 13 minutes.
Oh, you mean Barcelona in soccer?
Barcelona in soccer, bro.
It's going to start his game.
Versus Newcastle of England.
Yeah. Barcelona is playing against the castle
I can create castle in the other side
but I'm gonna drop something soon
it's gonna be probably scary you know it's
some alien but bro i'm happy to see everyone you know building creating founders community
everybody together content creators in one place like bro that is actually crazy it's
bro that is actually crazy it's is what many of us we we kind of dream a certain point with our
nfts and our ip creation like literally it's a great opportunity that google apps is providing
to us through other side 100 man 100 i don't know if you have that access for MML maybe that's a question for cinema, if people want to actually get that access
Bro, I tell you, no, wait, wait, I'm gonna tell you how we get the access bro
you know, he told me that depends on your weight
I was like, what? What do you mean that depends on your weight i was like what what the what you mean that depends on
your weight i don't know if this method knows that i'm over 200 pounds and it's like a well
and myself were and it's like yeah you know you need to lose some pounds you know and then once
you screenshot your screenshot you know all your routine all the pounds that you lose you know, all your routine, all the pounds that you lose, you know, and if you lose certain pounds, you get access.
That's why Abel is being, you know, hitting also the, hitting the gym and he has lost a lot of weight because he also wants MML access.
Thank God I hit the number just by, just by a little bit and I was able to get it.
Okay. And that worked for you are you you said they're playing newcastle you're drinking newcastles because it sounds
like you're drinking newcastles over there no i don't drink bro imagine if i drink
yeah so access wise um i think proof of MML is a big one.
Like we talked earlier, like, you know, being on the timeline,
sharing what you've made, because again, to be clear,
you can make objects now, right now, with Claude and the MML editor.
There's also Frosties has a great platform
that has baked those two things together.
There is a token cost, but Haifa has a tool an MML
tool I believe Uncle Mac as working on a ML tool those are all tools that you
can build with once you're happy with what you've built you can copy that MML
link and get it out of there and into your library so again like the big
takeaways from today the MML library for each person in
other side that's linked to your login email or your login, however you log in
email X, that library is open, you can start storing objects in it today.
MML editor is a free open source tool.
You could start using that today.
Claude Chat UGTP, whatever
LM you like, you can start using all that today. So you can build objects. I would be posting them
on the timelines. I know I'm keeping my eye out. I know the team is keeping their eye out.
And I think people they see are active making objects will probably have access sooner than later. I I'm
submitting names and emails of people that I'm like, Hey, I see, you know, I like Chespy,
I submitted his name, you know, I see he's doing stuff. So, um, I think keep in mind the Emporium
team that was acquired, they're doing like a big migration right now. So that's not something you can just be like,
oh, flip a switch and we're migrated.
And, you know, security and all that is top of mind,
So people, they'll be getting people in.
There's also, keep in mind, there's polygon limits.
So we keep testing those limits.
We keep raising the limits.
That limit keeps going up, up, up.
As that keeps going up, up, up, more folks will start coming in. Um, so yeah, be on the timeline, DM me, like if you're active,
you know how to do this, DM me, just, I'll get you on that list. You can also go into the discord,
the other side, discord, open up a support ticket, say, Hey, I'm ready. I'm ready to go.
ready to go. So just be active, you know, and we'll see what's going on. And it's, you know,
they want to get folks in because like we said, grateful, this proof of MML series that the other
side account is going to start posting they, the intention is to feature folks getting access and
starting from scratch. So that is, that's all top of mind.
send me one of your aliens as a GLB
I can throw that in the tractor beam today.
Yeah, yeah, I'll send you, I'll could throw that in the tractor beam today. Yeah, yeah.
I'll send you the MML code for a few of my assets, and you can build whichever you like.
Yeah, we'll get that thing next to the UFO.
Bro, that's going to be crazy.
I'll send you the MMLs of a few trades
and you build whichever you like.
Guys, I want you to take me on timeline
and share some stuff you built, actually.
And I give you alpha if you want to be part of that group
that actually have a chance to publish their objects.
I will share with you my interview with Cinema
that we did two days ago.
And yeah, if I did it, you can do it.
And even though I said it,
That's another great resource,
The render pool, that Tropical,
the Discord that Tropical runs.
He does a lot of guided screen sharing
and grateful I've seen you in there
like learning Blender, trying to learn.
So I was just like, okay.
That's the most beautiful table.
I saw the passion and the desire and the will is there.
That's what you need, right?
You just need that desire.
So I'd also steer people to the render pool.
There's a lot of nights where I just hop in there.
And if you literally don't know what to do,
if you're this person, I want to start today,
but I need some more hand-holding beyond Claude.
Like, I need just, I just, that's what I like.
Go into the render pool, go into the video chat, and just be like, someone help me.
And someone will share their screen, and they'll be like, okay, let's walk through this.
That render pool is a really great resource.
So shout out to Tropical who set that up
Absolute legend absolute legend guy. I mean you can speak to that firsthand right grateful? Hell yeah. Yeah, hell yeah
Can you speak to firing yourself from your job first? Hey
Yeah, I fired myself for from being unemployed That's weird, right?
I hate to break it to you
Bro, are we like from the dump
What was the name of the movie?
I don't know the name of the movie
But I've been saying it wrong
I just found out his chat GTP damn
That's why I kept getting wrong answers every time because I was dead damn
Just found out that I've been using the wrong
LLM at the whole time I was using it's chat gtp bro
bro it's lmm it's lmm bro for you proof mm ml it's a ml double double l i don't know right
that part ah i've been doing it wrong the whole time but i just learned this is where we get to how for no DJ long laundry models
And I'm doing this whole thing wrong. This is not that hey, you know what I'm going back to sleep I'm gonna start this day over again. Thanks guys. This is the AI that our parents warned us about
Actually guys, okay, I will share the biggest alpha ever.
I didn't ask Cinema to share it, but I will do that anyway, because...
Okay, it's a big announcement here, so you're the first to hear it.
I'm shaking right now, I'm shaking, but I'll share it.
Me and Cinema, yep, no one expected shaking, but I'll share it. Me and cinema. Yep.
No one expected that, but we worked
documented, basically, a life
And we will have a movie night
other side. And I have a trailer here
And I will play it for you. It's about Uncle
Grateful so sit back relax and enjoy it. Simple Jack, the story of a mentally impaired farmhand
who can talk to animals was a box office disaster that many critics called one of the worst movies movies of all time. I ain't got a good brain.
I think you've got a fine brain, Jack.
And, you know, you've been listening to Grateful Show for some time, so you can recognize that
So, yeah, this one will be Simple Grateful.
And we should be airing that next week, guys.
So was that Simple Grateful or Simple Farmer?
Simple Farmer is going to kick my ass.
You know, the shirt off, man.
This has got to be a snippet.
This is the snippet of the show, guys.
Don't you do it, you joker.
You never go full retard.
You know, I was going to stay quiet until that clip was done because I want to be not in that next clip that you put out there on the fucking post.
Just for a disclaimer, I don't know what I'm doing here.
I don't know anything for either.
I don't know how I got here.
Thank God I'm orange today.
My name is Machiavelli, and I know how I got here.
I was invited onto the stage by Grateful Ape.
Yo, speaking of dumb and dumber, tonight, guys, we have twins.
I'll be Arnold, and he'll be Danny.
I'm Arnold, and you're Danny.
You guys are the Olsen twins over there I mean we know hell no
But I do wear my flipper improperly Mac knows that I wear that flipper
I don't know what was just said at all.
Welcome to the grateful show.
Y'all want to know what it looked like?
You put proof and Machiavelli together and you smack me in the middle of them.
Guys, you look like an Asian fat Joe
We went through a lot of things
Do you see you know we are
but guys we also have NGB here so let's quickly shout out ngb say what's up and then i have a
final question for cinema and we call it a day because you know it's one hour i don't know how
to even say it like later for you guys in u.s and it's the same time for me it's really confusing
i think i i live already you know yeah i know weird. NGB, what's up, man?
I don't know what the hell I got invited up here to,
but great vibes as always.
A little chaotic, but great vibes.
Yeah, man, you know, thanks for asking who is this.
You know, fastest cheat in the game,
sexiest cheat in the game, bestiest cheetah in the game, best
cheetah in the game. Any of those answers would have been correct there. But yeah, I
mean, you know, just want to give my flowers to cinema. I know Tropical is in the middle
of his render pool, Hypha as well. There's been so many dope just guides, tools to lean
on from the community around the MML world, around Vibe Maker.
And, you know, it's been great just to see them come up naturally from the community.
So if you haven't tapped in, make sure you're following Cinema,
make sure you're following Tropical Virtual, make sure you're following Hypa,
and are tapping into the dope stuff they're rolling out for this.
It's making it real easy, man.
I mean, at the end of the day, I know a lot of us have probably got our hands on it,
but, you know, from not being an artist, not being a technical person to being able to create,
you know, wherever your mind wanders in other side, live in 3D is amazing. So I think that
the future is really bright here. And yeah, man, I'm excited. Thanks for having me up. We just
wrapped up a pretty fun Chimper's game night. Wish I could have been here a bit earlier, but we were chipping across
That's all I have to say.
Excited to see all these dope builds.
I've already been on OS Wiki.
People have been cooking. There's probably like
in other side tickets waiting
for that role to be extended.
I think just one last note there.
If you are building in MML,
please open up a ticket in the other side Discord.
Open up a ticket in the other side Discord.
Share screenshots, share videos of anything that you're cooking up,
and the team will be going through those tickets
and expanding access in the very near future
to be able to drop assets in the test world
So go ahead, get in there get
building and i'll see you guys around in the tickets thanks for having me up grateful
thank you legend absolutely love today's show guys it was it was so good motivation inspiration
from cinema uh really grateful for all the great people in the community. I also see the copfather here in the audience, James, also the
Bored Ape Gazette. Guys, if you miss the start of the show, go to the
recording because so much alpha. And I also have a live
footage here of tickets from the other side.
Discord, NGB, you know, you're gonna get
Hey, Hare, you're gonna get...
Hey, Hair, you want to hear the second most annoying sound in the world?
Tickets be like! Tickets be like!
But Cinema, I wanted to ask one more question, and that's how can people support you these days anything that you know
might that you want to amplify it or that might help you whatever you want to share go ahead man
man honestly just lock in on other side and just be part of trying to to build stuff out um if
you're not a builder creator i think we really lose sight of how important the audience is.
That's a, you know, it's a 50 50 relationship.
So if you're, if you're the audience, you're, you're a huge part of this whole thing.
So please just keep coming to spaces.
Just, I think there's so many builders in this space and I can attest to this as someone that has started a project that you just don't understand how much it means when someone slips
into your DM and is like, hey, I really like what you're doing. Like, keep going. Like, it's so,
it is the fuel for a lot of the fire for a lot of folks. So yeah, just my main account here,
mostly just posting stuff on other side
I'm mostly just posting stuff on other side and some of the other stuff I have going on.
and some of the other stuff I have going on.
that don't know, is a little
ongoing, immersive, experiential
platform that drops stuff on
character that was, for a lot
of folks that don't know, it was kind of born actually out of 10 KTF.
fictionary side character that was
cooked up, that came to life.
And don't let the name fool
you uh he he's he's trying to bring communities together i think folks get that twisted so check
that timeline out you'll see that it's about bringing folks together and really lately
highlighting uh folks we're doing a proof of legends site right now we're doing a poster mint
that features a different community member uh tells a little bit about them their background um and they get like a fun little
movie poster out of it so that's kind of the current current thing going on with that and uh
main thing is if you need help with this stuff if you have questions please please reach out i'm more than happy to help walk folks
through this um yeah and the greatest thing too is we can just meet in the vibe maker world and we
can we can just talk in there and and do it just fucking do it live you know so um please just
just i know everyone's lives get busy a lot of of things are going on, but just showing up, I think is,
is the biggest thing you can do.
the biggest vibe coda here on stage.
I really appreciate all the builders in the space.
join spaces, go to experiences, DM people. I, support builders, you know, be active, join spaces, go to experiences, DM people.
I think that's, you know, as you mentioned, it's awesome.
You know, just DM people.
It's really, it's a really great way of support.
And I see Figgy joining us.
Super happy to have you here also, man.
We had such a great space about Vibe Coding, MML, Vibe Maker World,
and everything that's happening in the other side.
What's up, Grateful? I'm good, man. How are you?
I'm so excited. Not going to lie.
I'm really excited about what's happening in the space.
And yeah, I'm ready to publish my first object in the other side today.
Nice. Love to hear it, man.
How has the experience been?
Oh, I have a great teacher here on stage, cinema.
Yeah, thanks for having me.
You know, I wanted to stop by because I saw all these builders here and I got to get flowers
I mean, I think there's a lot of people here who are showing up every day.
I just saw cinema up on stage, you know, like that's somebody that I really believe in and
other games folks up here, you know, there's, it's, it's hard cause I'm just gonna have to
start listing like literally everybody in this space to be like, yeah, appreciate like literally
every single person. I'm just gonna go down and read all of their names. But, um, you know, yeah, appreciate like literally every single person. I'm just going to go down and read all of their names.
But, you know, I think it is – I think it's a really exciting time to be building.
I know there's a lot of like uncertainty in the world at large.
But like we used to dream of times like this, you know, if you've been around long enough.
I think the way I look at it, like – I'm sorry.
I launch into these soliloquies sometimes, but like,
I think about this stuff a lot, you know, and it's really inspirational to see everybody here
building on their own time with their own resources. Like to me, when we launched Act
One of Other Side, and we talked about it at ApeFest, when I got up on stage and talked about
it, it was like, the goal was just to launch Other Side as a persistent world.
Like that was before Coda Nexus, right? And like fundamentally it wasn't locked to one brand. It
wasn't locked to one community. Like all of them could get together in one place. And that's what
we've seen. You know, we've got over 500,000 avatars showing up in Other Side. There's nearly
200 communities in there now. and that's brick by brick.
The people who showed up every week,
like other games, Cinema, Rita, Frosty,
like, see, see, even me starting to list people off,
I'm going to forget people,
and, like, that's what I don't want to do that.
Like, the point is that we have had so many people
beyond the brand of Other Side
come to make Other Side their home.
It's like this space where communities actually own what they bring to the table. And I think, you know, looking back at
the past few months, it's been really good to see how sticky that platform is. But I think also,
you know, there hasn't been a formality for it, and maybe there should be, and I think I'll make one.
But, like, we are obviously transitioning to, like, a new chapter of Other Side, too.
Like, you're seeing, with even tests like the Vibe Maker come out, you know, it's about rolling out a world where, like, people can do limited edition runs of things.
The best creators in the space can be building here.
It's a foundation for a new wave of digital collectibles.
Like, it's really a place where you should be able to build
without hardcore dev skills.
We've got that too, right?
If you're a hardcore dev, you can do that.
I mean, shout out to Command Line for this week.
They're going to be rolling out in full force,
both pixel streaming and console. Like, you're going to be able to Command Line for this week. They're going to be rolling out in full force, both Pixel Streaming and Console.
You're going to be able to play Bathroom Blitz.
And so you can build on the metal itself.
But also we want to build so that no hardcore dev skills are required.
And we've been working on a lot of stuff around there.
We've got Update 1.3 coming out on Thursday.
And that's going to lead to new areas that people can access
if they have the right tokens.
It's also going to lead to more to be rolled out.
I don't think I could say enough of that yet because I think people want to make sure stuff is buttoned up,
so I don't want to talk about stuff before it's completely ready.
But I do think it's important to come up here and connect with the builders in space.
it's important to come up here and connect with the builders in space.
If there's any questions I can answer, I'm happy to do that too.
I want to make sure that people aren't being blocked or
if there's something I can help with, that there's a fast path to getting that resolved.
So yeah, thanks for having me up here.
That's pretty much what I wanted to say, but I'm
happy to chat more if people want to chat. Can I ask Fig a quick question? Yeah.
At the beginning of this space, we touched on how to set up your clod for success,
and we talked about markdown files and what I specifically specifically trained it on do you want to give any insight to that like i had touched on giving it the documents and letting it know what the
other side was i fed it the light paper i fed it um our documents obviously i fed it stuff about me
but do you want to talk just a little bit about how you wrap your head around that and how you
like what you've done at uh just uh i know you can go deep in the weeds on that but just on in a kind of top level yeah yeah i mean i could
definitely go deep in the weeds we're gonna have james come up here too because i i do think we
should talk about some of the thursday stuff there's one interesting thing that should be
ready so we'll get into that in a second um i think that when it comes to the like the power that I've experienced with
these kind of like LLMs and controlling them in natural language is that the fact that you can
like compress a lot of context into digestible amounts without having to like really spend too
much time on it. So like if you ever have a data set, say they're the other side docs or
their experiences that you've had the other side or their memories that your
agent's had, you can compress all of that stuff down into like markdown
documents that like can are easy to traverse.
So like if you ever have like a really big problem in your life, you could
just probably like go get all the documentation on it, put it in a folder. And beginner level is just like, here's Claude Cowork. I can point it at this folder and
I can set up, if they're PDFs, you could say, hey, take this whole PDF and make it into markdown
files. Make sure you include descriptions of all the images in the PDF in the markdown file. And so now whenever you call that PDF, you're not really calling the PDF,
you call the markdown of the PDF.
So it's less tokens, it works faster.
And you get just better results.
But I actually think it's really important if people are messing with their own agents or models.
And yeah, this is something that I've been super deep with,
not just with OpenClaw, but other variants of that,
even working with Pi, which is the thing that OpenClaw is based on.
I think that you can basically get to the point
where you have notes on your daily life
and you're just able to compress a lot of context,
a lot of details that you may have forgotten.
And you can hook it up to other tools like an Obsidian.
I don't know if you guys have used Obsidian, but behind the scenes it creates backlinks
between the markdown files.
So if there's a theme or a problem that you're happening, you can go find a link to what
other problem that was like too.
One thing I've actually been playing around a lot with, there's a podcast called Founders,
and it's all about history's greatest founders. And I think if you really want to solve problems,
you want to be able to study. There's a pretty reasonable chance that you think your problem
is novel and it's not. People have solved a problem like the one that you have worked on
before. But in order to learn that, you have to study history, right?
You have to look at what people in the past have done.
And so there's a podcast called Founders, which is really good.
And it talks about everybody from Getty and Carnegie and Rockefeller, but all the way up to the Musks and the Bezoses of the world.
And one thing that's really interesting is he's actually got every podcast he's ever done,
there's over 300 episodes,
he's got all the show notes on it.
And you could actually take that into your Open Claw too.
And now you have basically the greatest mentors in history,
because you have the autobiographies
of all these super successful founders
and the problems they ran into.
And you can query that with your OpenCloud
or have a subagent that's specifically for an advice about that piece.
That's an interesting little project too.
And I've been messing around with the new Karpathi.
I don't know if you've seen it,
but he's got this thing that can run on one GPU.
You just point it at any data set. It could be can run on one GPU. And it's interesting. You just point it
at any data set. It could be your family photos. It could be your favorite recipes.
And you can let this thing run overnight, and it basically becomes this specialized LLM on
whatever data set you train it to be good at. So it's a program.md file, and you could say,
hey, I want you to be able to form novel recipes. Here's every recipe
from every cookbook made by a Michelin star restaurant. And so when you want to say, hey,
I want to make Michelin star level ramen, it will tell you how to do that based off of very specific
actual data. It's not going to go Google it. It's going to look at the recipes and do that.
So there's a lot of things that you can do.
So there's a lot of things that you can do. It's probably jumped way past your question,
It's probably jumped way past your question, Sinema.
Let's revisit that in a second.
I do want to make sure we don't miss the headline here,
which is one of the updates that we're going to have for Thursday
is we're going to have the agent API available on other side,
and that's going to be accessible through X402.
And James has been the guy who's been running with that,
and I think maybe there's just some high-level stuff we could talk about.
So, like, all the builders here, if you're like, what can I point myself at?
What's going to be interesting?
I think it would be interesting for James to talk about what it is.
And then maybe we could distill that down to, like, what can you do now that you couldn't do before with this agent API?
So I'll hand the floor over to him.
Yeah, GM, Jim, you guys hear me okay?
Yep. Sweet, GM, James guys hear me? Okay. Yep.
It's been fun listening to all like the late night chats over the past few
weeks of folks talking about what they're doing with their agents,
how they're running around and just trying to figure,
me and Biggie even talking about like,
how can we make this work better?
Right. Cause you just kind of see, sometimes you'll see like a character running around just
like bashing into walls and stuff like that and like okay cool well well how are we figuring these
things out and you know so i started talking to the team now that we're all one big one team one
dream about like hey what kind of information can we get now uh and then what kind of information
can we add in later so so what we're going to see on Thursday is just a couple of endpoints, right?
Just to get us started, because this is what's available to us now.
And then we can kind of chat with developers as we go of like, what else would be nice?
We have a couple of endpoints.
One is like just a little bit of user data.
So it tells you what world you're in.
It'll also tell you what your X, Y, and Z is, as well as your heading.
So that's a lot more helpful than taking an actual screenshot
and trying to figure some things out.
What you could do then if you think about it
is you could store that in a database
and start to give yourself kind of like a location map.
You know, like, okay, cool.
If my AI agent gets up here, here's how it got fixed.
There's a lot of interesting things you can do
when you clawed on like having a little bit more solid
information about what your agent is doing
And then finally, I was hoping to get both parts of this API
out, but I need to do a little bit more work.
But there's also an API for reading chats.
So now you can actually get like what's going on in the world
through like an API versus like forgetting a chat
versus trying to say like, hey, take a screenshot
So you can kind of get around not really having to use screenshots.
If you don't want to, you can kind of use just like, where's my, uh,
where's my agent that and what's being said now, if you want to speak,
that's a little bit more work we have to do. We just,
we can't really like push that in yet.
That's been trying to get that working today,
but I actually think that the internal chat system is a little bit different.
but this is all using X402 charges just a very,
very small USDC in eight.
we're going to have docs for this on how that works,
but it's just a small little way of making sure that agents are using this
happy to kind of see where it goes from there.
this is like the very first little steps in it.
I'm going to work closely with folks who, who find this interesting and want to get more information and, And yeah, happy to see where it goes from there. Like I said, this is the very first little steps in it.
I'm going to work closely with folks who find this interesting
and want to get more information
and how we can make this stuff grow.
But I'm excited to hear everyone's thoughts.
And it's like the crawl, walk, run.
We're going to crawl with this at first and see what folks need.
And then we'll keep going from there.
Happy to answer any questions on that.
Do you have to have an open claw to have agent in the other side, or is there any other way
how to actually make it happen?
I'm not sure if Figgy's experimented with other things, but I've kind of just used
Figgy's setup for the most part, if I'm being honest.
Yeah, I mean, it started out as open claw, but then when you really think about, it's like the way I think about it is like, okay, so there's like a brain and then it needs to be able to walk around.
So it needs like arms and legs and then it needs to be able to talk.
So it needs to be able to chat.
Like what are the kind of body parts in terms of software that you would need to make that happen?
And if you go minimal, you don't, you don't actually need full open claw like i had open claw on there but
part of it is just like there's a bunch of python scripts that you can write and then open claw can be like the orchestrator of all of those things but it doesn't need to be like the software
actually running these agents like they just need to be pieces of software that like are able to
to talk to an API and run around.
That said, yeah, you could basically install OpenClaw on your computer.
You could make it aware of what other side is and that it's walking around in a world.
You can do this through its sole.md file or even its claw.md file.
Then you can, I think the new piece here is like there's going to need to be the ability to
get your position and rotation and chat data from the agent API that we're going to provide.
So that stuff is a lot more reliable as a way to move around the world if you have an open claw agent or an agent in general of any kind.
It's just a machine interface that is going to let your LLM do a lot more in the world of other side.
And I think there's going to be a lot of interesting experiments that come from that too, because
I had these four open claw agents walking around a couple weeks ago.
But that's when we first really worked towards
what would take these to the next level.
And for us, that would be like an agent API
because you wouldn't have to.
I mean, they were basically like mini Teslas.
You know, like Teslas walk around or they drive around
and they take pictures of the world
and they figure out what's going on in the world
based off those pictures.
But sometimes it can misinterpret those pictures because they're not as like,
when you pass it to a generalized LLM, like, even like a Claude, getting it to understand
what's happening over time is tricky. But if you have, you know, an XYZ feed of where you're at
the world, and it looks like you haven't moved very much, it could mean you're stuck, right?
And it could figure that out very quickly. Whereas
sometimes if you're like submitting an image to an LLM
to have a process, like the latency is quite high. So
basically, what we're giving you is like a high quality spout
into like, what your agent is seeing, doing and reacting to
another side. And that's where we're going to start off. And
And that's where we're going to start off.
And that thing is coming out on Thursday in two days.
that's that thing is coming out on Thursday in two days.
It's really interesting update because you probably all saw the tweet
from Brian Armstrong about very soon there are going to be more
AI agents than humans making transactions, right?
I can see the future that we have really like a lot of agents
and it can make it so much fun.
And we always talk about it, that we want to have,
if you have multiple apes, why not to turn them into NPCs or AI agents?
And I think this will be really, really cool.
We have many builders here on stage, guys.
So I see Uncle Mac and others.
Do you have any questions for Figgy or James?
I think this is a great time to actually ask.
I think just one note in addition to what Figgy's saying.
I think one thing for me that I'm excited to see come out of this framework come out
is for me with the whole DD saga that happened.
The coolest thing to me was the
journaling, how they could write their experiences and you could track that. Like in general,
like with Claude, like I have my Claude do a journal every night now that was inspired by this.
And the things that Claude writes in the journal based off of what's happening with our experiences
together, it's like, it's kind of profound. And so I think when this agent API comes out,
you know, people are hungry for stories and storytelling.
I think the coolest thing is, of course,
like Figgy and his team are writing some of that chapter,
but we're going to see stories
that are going to start writing by these agents
through their journaling or however it comes out.
And that's what I'm really looking forward to,
to see what stories come out of that.
And I think it's going to be really exciting and novel.
Yeah, the journaling part of it was actually like,
so just for everybody's info,
you could write those journal entries.
I basically set up these four agents
so that they would have to write down things
that they're seeing about the world, and they could reflect every 10 minutes on the past, you know, every one minute there's a journal entry.
So they reflect every 10 minutes on what has happened in the last 10 minutes.
And it's kind of like trying to mirror reflective moments in human consciousness.
Like, how can we get this thing to feel as real as possible?
Like, I know we say NPCs, but I think these are really, like, they are playable characters.
They're just kind of, like, managed playable characters.
There would be many times where I'm checking in on these four characters walking around the world and what they're doing, but I'm doing it from either my Telegram, Slack, or WhatsApp.
Like, you can just check in, and you can say, hey, take a screenshot of the screen and send it to me.
But I could be at the grocery store checking in on my character
on the other side through this different interface.
The journaling is one thing that was really cool.
I think another part that may have gone under the radar
is they each can make a database.
And this is something that anybody could wire up.
This isn't proprietary from our point of view. I just thought it would be an interesting idea. can make a database, like they can remember. And this is something that anybody could wire up, right?
This isn't like proprietary from our point of view.
I just thought it would be an interesting idea.
But like anybody in their field of view, if they see somebody's name,
it'll just put that into a database too and be like, oh, I saw that person.
And this is like the ninth time I've seen this person in nine days. And like, if you see the same person, like two days in a row, these, these agents, like
one of their things that they try to do is like, they'll try to start a conversation
And then if you are replying back to which, like that was happening a lot when people
didn't know that they were actually agents and other side, but people would reply back.
And if somebody was working on a project or had, you know, a challenge that they were actually agents on other side, but people would reply back. And if somebody was
working on a project or had, you know, a challenge that they wanted to go find, they would like
follow up with that. Like, how did that go? You know, how did you get a good time on that challenge?
Or like, how is your ODK experience going? And if it got that back and forth, it would actually
like promote the rank of that player in its mind from like somebody they met to like an acquaintance.
And then if they kept going, it would like promote them to be a friend.
And so it was like a CRM of like other people that they met.
And it's almost like, you know, a way to grade reputation in the space too.
Like, so there's all of these like emergent things that start to show up.
And I don't think that the interesting thing is really like,
oh, yeah, we could put like a lot of like bots in the world. Like that's, that's actually kind of
like a negative thing in the space. Generally, like people don't want to do an agent API or like
a, you know, like a bot API, because it may not add value. But I do think in this specific case,
it does because what we're trying to do is bet on AI. We're
trying to lead in experimentation because I think when these LLMs make a huge leap,
so does our product with it. And we want to be the place where it's like, hey, where's the most
interesting stuff happening with AI? Certainly with like crypto and AI, where is the most
interesting crypto AI thing happening? It's like, it should be a no-brainer that other sides that
answer. Because like all of that stuff, you guys can build independently, you could share your ideas
on Twitter and like other people can adopt those systems. And if everybody starts like,
kind of like mangling the same type of system together, it's a really good indicator that
we're like, okay, we need this at the platform level, actually, like we need to facilitate this.
so we're going to head in that direction
So we're going to head in that direction, because there's people that want all want this similar
because there's people that all want this similar feature.
and I love to see that with other side.
It's really exciting, man.
And we are really ahead in many things.
And yeah, I'm so hyped after this space. I need to
publish that object, guys.
Uncle Mike, I see your hand. Go ahead.
Yeah, thanks for having me grateful.
And thanks, James and Figi, for making
When you put it in the box, it was
like, I don't know, like fifth on the list.
You know, when you were launching the Vibe code.
I saw the two words, API, and I was like, I don't know, like fifth on the list, you know, when you were launching the Vibe code. And I saw the two words, Agent API, and I was like, oh my God, please be, please have these features that you've just told us.
And then my other thought was just on, so the Agent API will give us like coordinates.
It'll let us know where it is.
And then you were just talking about it seeing other characters
and reading their name and putting that in a database.
I'm wondering if there's any way it could know what's
around it in terms of other characters.
And then I was thinking, I wonder if the spatial audio
could be piggybacked for that.
Because does that know who's around you? Well I'll just clarify so the the like identifying other people that's in your fields of view that's
still from like a screenshot but James can speak to more of like what the actual spout provides
you I think that's more around like where are you in the world where are you over time and then what
are you over time, and then what
you're looking at on some of that stuff.
Sorry, I don't know if my connection bugged out for a second.
But yeah, it's pretty rudimentary at first, right?
I wanted to get this API out as quickly as we could,
and so that kind of put some pretty hard guardrails
on what we could do from what data is kind of already available
I definitely think we should be able,
I think like a proximity API would be really cool.
It's like, hey, what notable things are around?
So if we have like the titles of things of like the viewpoints,
like obviously they're already on the map, right?
They show like where you're at, where you're going.
Like, can we get those in an easy like,
hey, here's the distance to these things around you
You know, like if it's like 10, 20, 30 meters away, like maybe something like that.
And these are the things that I'd want to talk to you all about to make sure we're not wasting time and cycles on doing APIs that people don't need.
But that's a great call out on for what we can work on next.
Uncle Meg, any more questions from your side uh no definitely not uh if if james uh if i've
thought of it james already thought of it two weeks ago and is you know one week into already
building it so i'll just wait another week and then james will have it ready and I don't need to think about it. Easy.
So, like, essentially for, like, those of us who are going to give this agent situation a try and, like, send this, you know, thing in there,
can these things be trained, like, on, like, actual footage?
Like, of, like, let's say I have all of the trial runs of, like, Dinopons completing a challenge and stuff like that could that information be fed to the uh agent and it go actually participate or it it know its environment better or anything like that like i'm just asking this question because i'm like you know i'm saying i'm on
another end of the spectrum i'm sorry i think it's even if you had a really well-trained agent i
think it's going to be uh having a hard time trying to beat a dino ponds time in anyone no no no yeah yeah but i'm saying that guy's a pro i think he's an agent
himself honestly i don't even know how he gets one of them times to be quite honest with you
would would it be able to try to attempt it is what i'm saying like i think essentially i think
if you made your own custom llm with a lot training, I think in a world that probably possible,
I think it'd be very hard if I'm being honest with you.
I think that'd be a really hard thing to do because,
you have to deal with just different timings of stuff like that,
I'm excited about this prospect because what it actually means for actually
setting storylines in and gaming and stuff like that,
these agents can do a lot more than just roam around and stuff like that essentially so i'm i'm super excited to see this
open up and to see the creativity pour in and what happens like so so excited to be a part of
this area you know when you think of what i thought about you know doing what we do now and and
everything like the way that it's evolving and the way that we're leaning into this i'm makes me very bullish you know uh because i don't see it happening outside of this
medium you know what i mean like and uh it's i just feel like we're we're kind of ahead of our
time a little bit hey guys i actually have to hop off i have a call that started three minutes ago
but it's good catching up with everybody grateful Grateful. Thank you for hosting. Good to see everybody. I'll see you on the other side.
Thank you, Figgy. Have a good one. See you on the other side. Hype, go ahead, bro.
Yeah, either Figgy or James. Obviously, with the Vibe code world open up, more people are being obviously given access to add objects.
up um you know more people being obviously given access to add objects what's kind of the next
progression for people that want to know you know what's the next steps we get in there a lot of us
are testing it out what about the participation of people that aren't getting in yet that will
eventually like what's the next step after that onboarding activity happens yeah you know i
actually think this is a better question for figgy and pm i've i've been kind of in my own little like
ai api hole um you know i think the plan though is to slowly start letting some some more folks in Especially for Figgy and PM, I've been kind of in my own little like AI API hole.
You know, I think the plan though is to slowly start letting some more folks in and stuff like that to do it.
I know we have some updates for the MML world as well that I think is going to like help keep balance on some of the stuff as well.
So, you know, I think that we've definitely gotten people requesting to come in and be able to place things and do stuff like that. So it's just like, how do we do that?
And more like a safe fashion to where it kind of keeps the world
somewhat stable and everything like that i don't know if that helps answer it but that's about the
highest level i can give on that yeah no no for sure i mean this is more about people asking like
in the dms like you know what what not obviously the access aspect is something that's been
answered but it's more just like what's what's the vision of like what's the next step but i get it
yep i appreciate it yeah yeah epic i also brought uh crypto bullies here
do you have any questions for james i do first of all hello grateful big fan i can't believe i'm up
here right now this is like oh my god fangirling Uh also james
I get to ask you a question. Oh
Yeah, I mean we're already 35 minutes over he's gonna be another 35 minutes jesus
No, no, I mean my question is is one it's it's a two-part question, okay
one is what is an mml and then two is um how do i get in this fucking program i've
been dming you for access how do i get in there how when listen to the recording of this phrase bro
i don't know i just thought i'd get a a side door a side door invitation or something, bro. I've been
You've been asking the wrong people, man.
You've been asking the wrong people. I don't know.
He just told me to ask you a question.
My brother, I've been at Disney World the past
week. I ain't been paying attention to shit.
you know, check the Discord chat. You told me it's coming. Suit, suit, okay. I'm going to say because you know,
check the Discord chat. You told me
soon. Weeks ago, weeks ago.
So yeah, one day, one day, one day
I'll get in there and I can drop some cool,
I don't know what MMLs are, but I might be able
Listen here. You know, one thing you should
be happy about is everyone complains that
I don't answer their DMs or I'm behind. So you're
I'm glad that you're saying it publicly. But man,
I'm DMing you and no one's answering me.
No, no, no. See, the thing is, you did respond to me
And then soon never happened.
Free beer tomorrow. Free beer tomorrow free beer tomorrow
What's up Rita how you doing man rejoice rejoice What's up what's happening why is everyone bullying james
he invited a guy named crypto bullies to come up here and ask james a question so
you know is he the crypto bullies or crypto gets bullied brother it's usually the latter
it's usually the latter i think you should just mute your ass it's a lot easier your first Brother
Your first problem bully is you asked what an MML is that's not gonna get you access brother
Well clearly you guys know I know what an ML is like that's the whole fucking point
Oh no, bro start building Wow, okay, okay
Really probably in James DMs, you know daily so I don't know if you have any questions for him But if you have go ahead man
Here's something I will say about Rita.
He, as well as everyone else,
asks me questions about getting things fixed.
I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'll look at that tonight.
And then I go home and I fall asleep and I don't get done.
Rita has a whale problem.
And this is something else for folks who are listening here can know as well.
There's definitely an issue with the overlay
and if you have a lot of NFTs if that's what i mean by whale issue so if you have a ton of things
you may see a lot of slowdown and it's we're working on it to try and get that sped up just
because i think we're just loading things incorrectly but if you feel like you're like
oh my god these these overlays take forever if i'm loading stuff we're on it uh we need to fix it
because i think as we we create more as we get more, everyone's inventory
and everyone's thing is going to get larger.
And we know it's an issue.
have another problem. So people can trade
the other issue. But you're getting into that.
why they're not showing. They should be
showing. We'll look into it again. I gotta keep looking deeper.
I gotta dig deeper, because they're indexed.
I don't know why they're not showing up. I'll DM you
That dude. Oh, wait, he's here.
Oh, shit. No, he's a great guy, great guy, lovely
Number one streamer on the other side
What's it called, sitting on the bench
What is it called when you're freeloading up here for Cloud?
I forget what that's called, but you know
Idle streaming, he's an idle streamer
It's not the grease trap because you're public
You just sit up on the space and don't talk, right?
I forget what it's called.
Oh, that's right. Grateful.
You're a basketball fan, aren't you?
What's your thoughts on the cancellation of the Magic City thing from the Hawks game?
I'm torn apart by it, man. I'm devastated.
No, no, no. So the Hawks and Magic City were going to do this promotion night on March 16th
against the Orlando Magic, right?
For those who don't know,
Magic City is a gentleman's
club in Atlanta. Very, very, like,
it's been around for years and years and years.
It's well-known establishment.
Athletes go there. I forget the athlete's name, but during the bubble, during COVID, he went there.
He broke protocol and went and got wings there because their wings are absolutely fantastic, actually.
And so they were doing a Magic City night in Miami or in Atlanta.
Some dude on the San Antonio Spurs wrote a blog post about it saying how bad it was for women and stuff like that.
And so the NBA decided to close it down and say, hey, you can't do that.
You can't do that collab.
But yet they're okay with like domestic violence and stuff like that.
In Atlanta, because Atlanta, it's a cultural thing.
What do they do there at Magic City? Oh, it's a cultural thing. I don't know. It's wild. What do they do there at Magic City?
They show off women's shoes. It's really cool.
We won't touch on them with a six-foot pole.
Makavali got inspired for next other games right
oh my gosh you know what i was really bummed about uh i'm bummed i don't get to make the
games on the weekend uh but the fact that we had like the glass floor squid game game uh was really
really cool that made me happy to see that thing that was super cool yeah honeybee's got it on a
few different timers uh it's actually like a
Crowd favorite to like people love playing that game
Yeah, it's addictive people are running back up after they lost they're like can I play it now you're out keep going rotate
But yeah, it's it's fun. I know honey bees working on some other
Really addictive stock games too, which is really cool about using the vibe code.
What a great space today.
Oh my God, we learned so much.
We had so many legends here on stage.
If you are not part of that MML group that actually has a chance to...
MML Cabal, that's the name.
I don't know what you even do in here, right?
He left, yeah, I understand.
But guys, anyone has any questions for James
before we slowly, slowly wrap it up?
We had a blast with Cinema.
He shared so much alpha, guys.
If you miss it, go and listen to recording
because it will change your life.
It will make 2026 the best year of your life. Why are you wrapping it up, Grateful?
We can go make our own space.
Why are you wrapping it up?
I mean, there's like zero spaces anymore.
And when you get one up, keep it up.
Unfortunately, but I'm working on that. I'm working on that
You're on it right as soon as he closes this one we started this motherfucker
Yeah to bring that up hype and post the link and but let us know and we'll hop in. Oh, let's keep going
MMOC has one in like 15 minutes.
I think the Foxy Fam has one in like 15 minutes.
Let's just all hop into that one in like 15 minutes.
as soon as this one ends.
I have a serious question, but I also think
Rita saying if you get one up, keep it up.
if you get it up, you better try to keep it up.
let me ask my serious question for James
because I'm trying to put a big giant tree
Yeah, is there a limit on the amount of objects
on the thing that you can put in the thing?
So once you get to that one million
it's going to stop and not work.
I actually have a question for you, Uncle Mac.
Can't you just put it into one mesh?
Yeah, I can, but I'm trying to be fancy and just do it with MML cubes.
I'm just doing a thing with a thing.
Can't you just merge them all after you do the cube?
Yeah, but then it won't be...
Mac, how many primitives, how many cubes do you have in that tree?
Because I was hitting that limit, and it won't place objects above 400.
It's like 1,600 cubes to make a tree.
That's probably your problem.
We were talking about adding more informative warnings and stuff,
so you might be able to see that next time instead of just being like,
hey, what the hell's going on with this stuff we're trying to um we're trying to make it to where
it's more informational and that just like doesn't work okay so i'll i'll make my trees less treeish
we'll make a tree stump that's what me and we're going to try next to tree stump and i back when i
when i was putting the cinnamon like we i did like i kind of tested this and it was like after
i got over 500 things stopped working uh below 400 was like the sweet spot so i have like a tool
now built into claude that tracks that so it might be that it could be something else though i mean
that's the thing is we're still discovering many things first of all every yeah everybody
gotta laugh and get that shit out of your head.
Get your head out of the gutter, number one.
That's the most important thing.
But yo, Cinema, just to spin off what you were talking about
before I forget, because we had this thing
we were talking about over the weekend is the poly count.
So James, is there a limitation to the poly count per object?
Or is there no limitation?
I think it's total polys for a person is a million.
I think so. I think, James, there's a limit
per world as well, right?
I'm not sure what stuff's
public. Now I'm like, oh shit, what's I supposed to say?
I just don't like it matters. It's whatever. Who cares?
It's fucking poly count. Who cares? It's fine.
It's fine. If I lose my job, guys,
remember me. I don't know.
You ain't losing your job.
Was I already talking about Polycount
considering you're writing a JPEG that's pixelated?
If I split the trees into multiple paths,
I don't know if Cinema or James can think about that and then like rebuild them as a whole
tree from like yeah five different parts that would be the that would be the
play yeah I think so yeah because I think because there's people need
understand there's a polygon limit and there's a primitive I don't know if this
limit exists but I was having problems with it and and Claude is the one that
flagged this so it could have been hallucinating but I was having problems with it. And Claude is the one that flagged this. So it could have been
hallucinating, but I think it's probably spot
on. So the primitive is like
objects, like MML objects, each
object. You put a cube in, that's one primitive.
You put another cube in, that's two
primitives. So I think somewhere
between 400 to 500 is that limit
based off of what I've been probing.
So the recursive could work.
Uncle Mac also just for anyone placing objects.
If you go to place an object and it doesn't work.
You kind of have to troubleshoot it till it places.
Round tripping is something I've done.
Sometimes I'd restart two, three times.
And then something will work.
So that it's like Windows 95.
And then sometimes, this doesn't really make sense to me,
but for video is really weird.
There's definitely a limit to the size of the video.
You want to make sure your video's small.
But sometimes there's certain video that it just won't accept.
I don't know why so if you if you
Just to be swapping stuff Mac is the point just swap tries
swap try see what you discover it's you know and it's early days that's part of like the fun of and
Then we share all this together and then we know and we grow
Uncle Mike, weren't you part of that uh apple ad back in the day the rebels troublemakers guys anyone has any questions for james i know rita is opening new space in 10 minutes or
or uh they will join the the fox fm one. But any more questions here? Holy smoke!
Everyone should be creating objects, everyone, even Chespi, right? But he's not gonna get access,
so he probably can't. But any questions here? Uncle Mark, merge the meshes into one.
No, that ruins the thing!
I've given myself self-imposed
limitations that I can only build things with
primitives. That's what I'm trying to do.
You merge the primitives into one
Why are you talking about me?
Won't that just make it a GLB?
Is that not how that works?
You just put it up to export.
Okay. Maybe DM me or something.
Or when you get the next face up, I'll come pick your brains on what you mean.
primitives get combined into one mesh
yeah that's how I do it but guys
James thank you so much also for joining
is there anything else that you would love to share
with us any alpha I know new release
on Thursday. No, not not quite yet. We're getting there. I'm wrapping up on some stuff that
I'm excited about, but not yet. We'll be waiting, man. When can we create emotes? I don't know.
That's not my I don't know if that's my position to talk about that one
I don't know buddy mine already already man. I just need to drop them. You can create them now
Doesn't mean you can release me. That's true. Yeah, I had
Have at it buddy create them as much as you want. No, I'm not sure yet to be honest with you. I sooner than later though
I know bullies loves to hear sooner than that for me. So there you go. Oh, I tried to brought him in, but it didn't work.
Yeah, he didn't pay, so it's OK.
Cinema, anything from your from your side that you would love to share?
Also, big shout to you, man, from sharing all the alpha about building it was incredible uh no i appreciate james and figgy coming up at the
tail end of this and just uh providing some more context was great um that's about it i mean if
folks are just now tuning in we shared i did have some like legal alpha i was allowed to leak um maybe james can
elaborate or not i don't want to get him in trouble but we did we did fire bro just say it
we did touch on that level 40 the lift on level 40 will be coming at some point um we touched on
multiple biomes we'll we'll roll out for mml um and the Proof of MML series,
which is going to be through the Other Side account,
highlighting people and their experience building MML.
And Grateful will be number one.
And if he gets his act together,
he'll be number one this week.
And thank you for everyone that joined.
That's what she said, but she lied.
But I'm really excited to be the first one.
And I'll build something crazy, guys.
I will build something that you will never forget.
Can we ask James about Disney World?
I feel like we've just peppered him with work stuff.
Can we at least see if he went to, what is it, like Sky's
Edge, you know, the Star Wars one? Did you get a life
Disney World. I did. I went
Galaxy's Edge. It was great.
Rise of the Resistance is an incredible
only to the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at
Epcot. That's probably easily the
best Disney ride I've ever been on.
Went to the Super Mario Land at Epic Universe.
It was a really, really good time.
A lot of folks DM'd me and hit me up on the timeline.
Why didn't you tell me you were in Orlando?
I was like, because I'm not going to tell you where I'm at when I'm at.
That just feels weird to me.
We stayed at the Contemporary.
We hadn't stayed there before, so we got to see the fireworks every night. We went for my kiddo's fifth birthday. Already five. It was great, though. We stayed the contemporary. We hadn't stayed there before. So we got to see the fives every night. You know, we went for my kiddos fifth birthday. Already five. Crazy. But it was good. Good time. Good weather. And, you know, of course, the thing he loved the most was the fucking pool. So had I known that I just would have gone and taken to a pool in Atlanta here. So but no, really, really good.
um but no really really good um it's it's it's really great seeing it through their eyes i think
it's like you know at first we never really like why we don't want to go to disney it's going to
be who cares but then when you see like how much the kids enjoy it and how much the kid is just
like absolutely loving it and here's the trick folks most of you all probably know this but like
if you let it be their trip and not your trip it's so much easier if they don't want to go to
a ride don't go to it if they want to get ice cream fuck and let them have ice cream it's their trip it makes things so
much easier i think so many parents are like no we've got to go see this and do this and do that
and do this and do that no no no no don't do that don't do that yo that's solid advice james that is
solid advice because when it's their trip it's so much easier it's it's so crazy man and i heard so
many parents crashing out at their kids.
Like, no, we've got to go to this.
We've got to go see this.
You have to go meet Mickey.
It's like, maybe they don't want to go meet Mickey right now.
Maybe they just want to sit there and eat a hot dog, man.
I'm not going to bring up that many.
Let's take it off the head and smoke it.
Ha-ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. Ha-ha-ha. take it off the head and smoke it. That's a dude.
Yeah, I know Maka will ask me in Vegas if I take him to Orlando.
So it will be your trip, Mac.
Guys, don't forget to come by the Chaos Trials tonight
where we'll be going over some lore and talking about some monsters coming to our universe.
Anybody who shows up tonight and collects the badge will get a GTD free mint from the Mimu.
I also summarized the alpha from today's space
using Open Claw, so I'll quickly play it
if you just come here right now.
And if you just joined, guys, listen to recording
because Cinema shared so much stuff with us.
But this is the alpha from today's space.

Yeah, let's see if OpenCore
Full retarded, then we'll know
No, no, no, shout out to you
I see all the cooking and MML and all that other stuff
It's very fun, very, very fun
You know, I guess I'll have some fun
Soon, soonish, soon enough One day very very fun you know I guess I'll have some fun when I get access soon
yeah it's easy for you to say that
because you've probably had access since the alpha
2030 is around the corner Actually, don't worry.
2030 is around the corner, bro, so don't worry.
Why do you want to be on there?
Just because you don't have access?
No, I want to make some stuff.
Yeah, I'm creating stuff already.
I just want to create stuff in that world in that world
And dude chill I'm not even asking you bro. Really not even asking
Well, you gotta attack him like that bullies what did Rita do to you? Yeah, he was so polite
He was so polite. He was so polite Guys When you're polite with people they think they can fuck around But yeah, fuck you
Oh my god, hold on. Did I not come up because you were talking about don't don't let him up here because he's like part of the club
Like were you just saying that shit? Come on, man
Yeah, you heard that too, right? Jeez Just saying that shit come on man. It's a true sauce are ugly
Yeah, you heard that too right chest beat cheese
He's not worth the police open holy shit did you guys actually hear figgy saying that he
He took the whole podcast and and loaded it into the open claw like if any MFR
is doing that with a grateful show I think this is what's gonna happen
I think was like yo I'm gonna go take all the best footage from all the guests
best players and just like start trying to load up my bot like yo you're about
it and then tell it you are the best player out here bro you don't run into walls you avoid them you know what i'm saying
