All right, all right, all right, yo, yo, yo! Welcome back to the Ministry, episode 206,
and we'll be talking some money today. Bad money is here with me, and let him up to speak
and co-host with me. And actually, we might be sharing a mic here. I wonder if you unmute
if we'll get an echo. So let's let's give it a shot. But anyway, yo, welcome back.
We've been away for a little bit. We're gonna get into some recap
and into some some big money conversations. We'll do a little TA, and we'll just have some fun
talking about this space, man. There's a lot going on, so yeah, I'm gonna let you unmute
and just say what's up and see how this is all gonna work tech wise. Let's see how this sounds,
guys. But I've been working on some some AI music of myself, bad money style,
and I made this track for you, Rod. Let's let's start here tonight. Let's start the night
with this little track. Yeah. Let me see what you think about this one. AI music. We all like it.
Artwork with with new technologies. Let's go. Let's. Come on, man! Is Zodi not playing? Here
go. Build my life, out of dark plans. Trying to become somebody else's man. Bought the house,
bought the name. Lost myself inside the game. Everybody clapping, nobody asking.
Is this really what you wanted? Dreams on sale, lives on lease, tasting comfort, losing peace.
More applause, but less connection. More perfection, less direction. Run the race,
collect the prize. Too filled, empty deep inside. Climbing ladder, reach the top.
We know how the feeling's tied. Maybe success ain't what they sold. Maybe courage ain't what we got.
Maybe freedom starts the day you stop living somebody else's way. Maybe your purpose gon' fit
the mold. Maybe your vibe can't be controlled.
The hardest dream to wake up from is the one everybody applauds.
It's fire. I like it. Like it. Yo, that was great, man. That was a dope track. I love the concept,
of course. Dreams, and and I know, dude. It's it's getting so good. Do you want to talk at all
about the process for how you made it, or? Yeah, I made so many tracks ever
since I met that one guy at the meetup. He said he had a AI music production. Oh yeah, yeah,
that's the thingy, and I was like, what? Yeah. I mean, I used to be in all sorts of bands ever
since I was in middle school. I started a band in middle school with my homies, Ricky.
I think you met him before. He's a drummer and all that, right? Batted all the bands
and then multiple bands as I grew up. And then I was always making music by myself,
but then I sort of stopped a couple years ago, sort of just taking a break from it.
It got into crypto and all this, trying to make videos. But, but um, you told me too. Why are you?
You brought it up. You were like, hey, bro, why why are you not just
why why are you not making music with AI? Yeah. I thought about it. I was like, yeah, why not?
Let me go check it out. Yeah. I guess I have that negative like um. Feeling about it,
like other people are. I don't know if you picked it up. If you talk about it about people
that have like that initial like, dude, that's so fun once you get into it. Now, but yeah, yeah,
I agree wholeheartedly. And like, I, I, you know, I. You're talking about Oz, the crypto goat.
Shout out Oz. Oh yeah, Oz, what's up, bro? Um, he, he, he, and Drew and I were the only ones that
I knew of who were making like some music at the time when Suno first came out
and was was kind of yeah, you guys were early, a new product. And like, yeah, it was cool, but like,
it had. It's not as powerful as what you have mentioned to me now. You couldn't control as
many aspects of it. There was a lot that was like generated, and so you saw this idea of like tokens
in tokens in. So people, anybody that I would talk to about AI and now media creation.
They just didn't like the idea of it because they took a very hard ethical stance
against AI technology because it's environmentally not friendly, and so they're like, oh,
you know what? You're making music, but you're ruining communities, you're ruining the land,
you're ruining, etc. So now you kind of have to deal with that whole side of things,
which is is complicated. There's some truth there to the damage that the technology can do. So like,
I'm not denying that. There's positives and negatives to absolutely. But but now I've made arguments
here at the ministry, previous episodes, y'all can listen in on that. You know,
it's the idea that you could. Use this technology creatively the same way that previous technologies
were used to create artworks. So, like painting, you know, writing. Like it's just a new medium
for expression. Maybe it allows you a few new abilities or more powers or some capacity.
But you know, and then AI, right? AI being this thing that that has taken from people.
None of Taken from people, but then empowered creation, right? Like you can now create
complex artwork and media in an easier way. But is that worth the cost of the damage
to the environment? It sort of becomes the crux. And I say, you know, we're going to use these tools
creatively and critically, and we should learn what they can do and what they can't do. And yeah,
let's talk about all this stuff. But I think you and I pivot more to the side of well,
we're going to use them. We're going to see what we can create with them. Very much not abusing,
like not you know just being wasteful with creation, but at the end of the day,
you're paying for it too in this very capitalist system, right? So we can get into some
of the politic issues or political sort of governance issues there. But anyway, there's a lot.
So I think AI technology should be in the hands of the young. It should be something that they know
about. And I think you making music with it makes a lot of sense. It's why I made music with it too.
Yeah. And now the idea of a music label and stuff, like shout out Drew the the you know Go Tribe OG.
I love you, son. Hell yeah, dude. Miss you, bro. Miss you. Can't wait
till you start coming around a bit more. You know, we we have this idea of like AI music, right?
He made albums with some some AI support. That are minted on Spotify. You can go listen to
the Go Tribe album, for example. Oversold and underrated. You'll find a Dreams track in there
that we absolutely love. I also like like the Crypto Wives one. You ever listen to that one? No.
Dude, that one's fucking good. Maybe we'll play that one. But anyway. Yeah, I need Dreams help.
I need to tokenize my music, dude. I've been going deep. I have so many tracks.
I probably made over two hundred. Out of those, only like. Seven fifty made it to my playlist.
Oh damn! And out of those, I'm trying to like tokenize each one. Each one has like unique art.
I'm not there yet, but I want to get to the point where it's tokenized,
and before I can put it on YouTube and on on Spotify. So, Drew, where are you, bro?
Where's the goats? Yeah, man, he's bring back the goats. He's living life, you know,
living life like we all gotta live our lives. Hope you're good. And for some of us, yeah, no,
absolutely. And and I I talked to him recently. He's he's doing good. He was traveling. My goats.
Yeah, man, goat tribe. Shout out, goat tribe. You know, okay. As far as as far
as our main conversation on money, I think we can dive in after we do a little recap of
of our reward situation. So for DRMZ, I'm just gonna give a little recap here
of our stake pool situation. So no situation. What is this situation? No new blocks as
of our last update. So we are still sitting pretty. At 66 blocks with a little bit
above 500,000 ADA delegation, actually very close to 600,000. We were up above there,
and I was like, "Oh, we're getting up to the milli. We got a milli. I got a milli as a target.
" By 2020, by the end of the year. So by 2026, I said a milli. By 2026, so help me get there.
Delegate to our stake pool. Delegate to dreams. But anyway, we have 66 blocks minted.
We are at 0.7% saturation, and so we still have a very low 1% margin. So please stay with us,
and we're going to be growing our pledge fairly soon. Just you know, increasing our commitment
to the space and the ecosystem. And you know, dreams for life, baby. We're gonna keep running
the stake pool. Too many stake pools are you know closing down shop, closing down operations. Dream.
You know, we're we're growing. We're doing our events on the ground. So little update on our events.
Maybe you can you can kind of I'll toss it to you. You know, World Cup watch party.
We we we brought together our little community for a Colombia Portugal watch party.
We we had people use the tech. Make their predictions on Bodega on Cardano,
and and we onboarded some new wallets, and we had complete newbies using Cardano
and a few QR code scans. But anyway, yeah, what was your experience of the event? Because Razo,
of course, was was there, participated with us, and is always a part of our community.
I hope it was it was everything we wanted it to be. You know. Yeah, dude,
I thought that was that was a great event. It was pretty fun. We had all sorts of random people.
I even brought my girl's dad. He's a big soccer fan. And you guys onboarded people just with
like scanning a thing. Thanks to Adam Dean, right? Shout out to Adam Dean.
I don't know if you guys saw my interview with him. I interrupted him like a hundred times.
Apologies. I'm still learning how to speak on camera. Okay, I get nervous,
get excited in front of you guys, but but yeah, dude, it's it's. It got me thinking
though that we need more events like that. I think we need to start working with like what's up,
Suno. I've been making a lot of music AI, like I'm talking about on Suno,
and I've been thinking that we need some AI like music like competitions. You know,
like those old school rap battles. Yeah. But also, I feel like we can we can turn that
into an entertainment, like a thing that happens locally here that we can maybe broadcast to
the web. Yeah, I think that'd be great for us and for Suno, like. Like actual battles,
like almost like World Cup kind of status, where you have these brackets and people fight it out,
and a winner, you know, take some sort of pot. That's what I've been thinking because I I love some
of the music I've been making, like the first track we just opened up with,
and I would love to share that. And I would like to like battle. I guess your song.
Maybe you're like Nah, bro, fuck that. Like skew your track. Watch watch mine.
Watch what I made when I was watch a master. What I did when I was in the toilet this morning.
Then we battled it out. Yeah, no, I think it's a good idea. I I love the idea. Need crypto
so we can vote on it. Yeah. No, one hundred percent, and and that whole idea of of the music, uh,
the the rap battles, I'm down. I think if we focus on this idea of community and music support,
music love, there's a lot of different things that we could do. So yes, parties we want to throw.
Like we're going to do social events and more networking, um, but we also want to do events
where people learn to use technology. So we could even start off maybe this idea
about the AI battles by hosting an event where we invite people to kind of have a walkthrough
with us of Suno, right? And and then we at that at that same time we'll say hey we'll give you
some incentive we'll pay you twenty bucks for your time right sponsored by Dreams
or sponsored by some community member or something and and we want you to come and learn
how to make AI music and we'll pay you twenty bucks for it twenty bucks to make your song you get
to keep everything you know we'll give away some memberships to Suno or something to winners
of certain events and we'll we'll make it fun and engaging but then that's how we would get
people to make Music, and then we would say, "Hey, let's meet on Sunday. Maybe,
maybe at the next ministry. Maybe we'll be back with a rap battle." But the idea of like,
"All right, I made the song. Now, I think it's worth people listening to. I used AI artistically.
I understand the ethical concerns we were talking about that are very important,
but I used AI artistically to make something." And and that's kind of a cool way
of onboarding people into AI, right? At the same time, talking about blockchain
and onboarding people with new wallets, and then I think you were talking about minting some
of these songs as NFTs, so we could certainly give away music NFTs on Cardano,
which are native tokens that have complex metadata. So I think there's a lot there that
we could really explore. Yeah, guys, I don't know if you guys know this,
but this is Blocks Against the Machine too. We're recording here, and this is what me
and Rod are doing here. We're we're riding the wave, baby. We're riding the wave of technology.
I don't know about you guys, but it seems like we've reached some sort of like. Crossroads, right?
Like some digital crossroads. I feel like the robots are coming. AI is here.
It's it's crazy because I was born '86, right? So I saw the world before the internet,
and so did you. But now we're like. Like I said, I have like all these songs now,
and they're pretty good songs. I mean, what makes a song good is just does it make you feel emotion?
And these songs, I don't think I'm gonna be able to live without them anymore.
I'm about to have a kid. I'm gonna share these songs with her, so she's probably gonna grow up
listening to my music, right? Because I feel like it's positive vibes,
it's positive message that I'm trying to spread through my music, through my mission,
through Bad Money, right? I'm trying to like think about greater ideas,
using these technologies that. I think a lot of people have a negative view of it because I think
we know where this eventually leads, right? We everyone feels the feeling of centralization, even
if they can't put it into words. But me and you are sort of here exploring these technologies
because we were like, "Yo, have you guys heard about midnight? Have you guys heard about
like Cardano? The like these technologies that me and you are sort of riding with that
can also be used to empower us to to decentralize power or just to do all sorts of fun things,
just like like you know how we have social security numbers and do you like going to the DMB?
Why can we do all this stuff in our phones in the world where we have face recognition
and fingerprint recognition, passwords, and you know, like it's it's a new world
and and I think this is what the show is about, just exploring these new technologies as parents,
as friends, and what brought us here together is this technology itself. So so welcome everyone,
welcome to our show. I hope you guys stick around. We're here where no one really cares about
these technologies too, right, Rod? Like how are you feeling about this bear, son?
How do you feel about the bear? Because I'm I'm here for it. Well, I mean, I think that's kind of
why. Before we kind of pivoted to to bear market sensations, we were talking about
World Cup planning, and that's one of those things where you can do during a a bear market.
You can say, you know, things are down, things are feeling down, everybody's down,
sentiment is down, prices are down, but engagement can be energized, can be brought up if you do
the right types of things, and so I think. For us, a World Cup watch party was taking
the the very vibe of the community that's happening right now, and there's a big Colombian buzz
in San Diego right now. So shout out los cafeteros. I know we lost. Yeah,
that's the Colombian national team. Mexico. Yeah, yeah, we we lost. It's okay.
Argentina took revenge for us, and you know, anyway, World Cup watch party was tapping into
the energy that people already have in the space. They want to watch World Cup games.
They want to mingle with like community. They want to eat. Like food, and so we actually ended up
meeting some Colombian sort of businesses that we wish we had met before we had we held the event
because they would have provided the food instead. You know things like that,
like local partnerships, business development, where you can now teach people about Web3
during a bear market. It's a great moment to do this because people are not hyping crypto
as this money money driven thing. It's really more about what are you doing with your community
and your networks of people, and how are you leveraging the information that you have. So. You know,
you we happen to know about Web three technology, like AI and blockchain. Okay, well,
what are you doing with that knowledge? Are you spreading it? And again,
the best the best time to do that is during a bear market, where people want to learn,
people have time to learn, right? Take your time, learning lessons now, right? Not your keys,
not your not your crypto is like a tried and true lesson that that we have learned many of us
in many cases, the hard way. So we want to make sure we learn it for the
Or that you learn it from from our our own experiences. So a World Cup watch party
during the bear market. I'm feeling fine. Like it was fun. It was engaging. It was family friendly.
It was community focused. And we, like you said, we ended up onboarding entirely new people
who had never used crypto, and are are potentially even against crypto very easily.
And they saw at least the value in how you can transact and how you can use the blockchain
in some productive, meaningful way. And again, with the fucking brand new B who who knows
how to scan a QR code though, and and understands a web app, a phone app.
Then they they participated. They didn't know about any blockchains or like, oh,
this is on what chain? We we shouted out Cardano and Midnight because both are the two that
that Dreams really really messes with, right? Where those are our our main two that we rock with.
Of course, shout out BTC. Shout out our other chains, our our homies from other chains.
We got tons of homies on tons of chains. It's a cross chain ecosystem, but.
If if it comes down to the to the to the main thing that holds dear to my heart, it's Cardano
and it is DRMZ. And so, in a bear market where we get to throw World Cup watch parties
and we get to host events that are fun and engaging and still kind of hang as homies, I'm chilling,
dude. I I don't think we we feel that same pressure as people who are watching the token drop
because I first bought into Ada full transparency when it was a dollar 33. So. Um, you know,
at at what 15 cents was the the low that I caught? Maybe a little, maybe 14 cents. Um, dude,
come on. Of course I'm going to be buying there, especially with a stake pool in mind,
where we have, uh, we have to saturate it, we have to fill it, right? We have to make sure
that we grow it for our community, and and our our ecosystem. So. Nice, yeah, dude.
It's been it's been crazy right now during this this bear. I I still believe we have a little bit.
More pain to go. It's crazy. I've been looking at all the charts though, and dude,
we'll hop into the TA, man. Let's let's do some TA. Yeah, I mean, I mean,
I guess the main idea behind the TA, the main message I have is, I don't know,
I go off based off the lines. If you guys want to see the lines, go to Bad Money Six One Nine
on X. That's where I put all my predictions. I call the top on gold and silver. I didn't call it.
It's just you follow. I just read the lines, you know, like. Some people read the cards, you know,
like the what was it called, tarot, right? They pull cards and they're reading the line.
I don't know. I read the lines. It's way more accurate, right? But at the end of the day,
you don't know if these lines are gonna hold things. But you know where the bounces are coming,
or at least you know where the the gravity of the money is, right? And I've been calling
all these tops and golds, and anyway, so now I've been adding all. Charts beyond crypto.
I've been looking at Tesla. I've been looking at Apple. I've been looking at Google.
I've been looking at Intel. I've been looking at the ship manufacturers.
I've been looking at Palantir, semiconductor companies. And one trend I've noticed that every time
before you get the biggest explosions, right in in any of these stocks,
they always broke all these levels of support, which is what's right below Bitcoin.
We're almost there, but we're not quite there. And there's a couple of scenarios
because also I was looking at the timeline of. I did a whole. I don't know if I did a video on that,
but I put a chart on that. Like, we still have time for this bear to to play out.
Maybe even until October, if it plays out like history does. And so far, you know,
it's been very close, which just kind of like kind of proves my whole my whole idea
of there's some manipulation. I think it's obvious, especially when you look at my charts,
because if I put like Bitcoin measure in gold versus Bitcoin measure in silver,
is literally the same chart. I have a whole video about it. Also, if you look at silver versus gold,
it's the same chart. The manipulation, it's obvious, right? How it comes in these waves and cycles
and markets and all this, and And again, we're going to break these levels,
and that's why I've been patient. I'm holding a short. I'm still holding it because I feel strongly
that we still have a little bit more to go. But I think that this is the greatest time
to find crypto. I'm almost jealous. I'm always. I'm always. I don't even know
if I should be telling people about this because it's like, yo, I just went through all this pain,
and now I'm telling everyone about it. But I think I also think it's good because we need
people to buy. To help us decentralize the chain, the way you do that is by more people owning
a part of that. Sure. That wealth. But now, now, where does the TA come in?
So you kind of were you started off on that point of how you've been looking at all these charts
and all these things. So what, where does the TA come in, and what, what is its role? Why,
what you know, what does it do for people who don't know about TA at all,
who don't understand what it is and how it works and what its what its power is?
The power of this knowledge, if knowledge is power, it's only if you have the capacity
to do something with that power. Otherwise, it's meaningless. Who cares? So.
TA itself is valuable because it plays over. I think technical analysis when you're looking at
these markets is just human emotions, and you can draw these simple lines
and you can see these patterns playing out all the time. I don't, you don't have to believe in it.
It's visual, right? I will drop a line, and either the price is going to bounce there or not.
And you'll start if you keep playing around with these levels, right? There's
different different levels that I look for where people. I call it max pain.
This is what I'm concentrating on now. That I've been kind of. I haven't traded. I haven't.
Before I was over trading and over leverage trading every day, I felt like I had to be on a trade
all the time. Now that I'm thinking about it differently, right? It's I've been in a trade
for a month now. I've been holding my short patiently, waiting for my levels to get hit
because that's how much I believe in these lines. They're like gravity, and if you go to my X again,
you'll see these things playing out over and over again. Why do you believe in them so much? Like,
are are they not arbitrary lines? Like, what are these lines? No, they have been playing out
through all history. It's a little freaky because sometimes the lines predict the present,
like the news. It's almost like I see something in the chart, in the in the in the lines breaking,
and the next day you'll get a news about some sort of bombing or something. Like it was,
it's freaky in that way. Well, well, so so the lines represent sort of events in the real world
on a graphic scale, on a visual scale of of economic sorts. So so I I understand correlation
for sure, but yeah, it can reveal how how markets move and what what moves markets, right? So like,
okay, fair enough. So that's the value of TA. So if if it really is like predicting the future
or being able to see sort of where it rhymes, then it makes sense. Like it's not telling you
absolutely where things are going to go. It's instead giving you a sort of like where it could.
Could go realistically levels of support. We're like if you imagine people sometimes say, "Oh,
Bitcoin is just going to go to zero." And you go, "Do you understand what would have to happen
for it to really go to zero? Like that's a lot of things without the cascade in a very bad way
for it to go to zero." But it's not like these other shit coins and meme coins
and things that we see in the space that whose only value is to pump you, pump you,
and then see you later. Like people are psychologically buying into Bitcoin
as a long term investment and sound money, like digital sound money. Weird, but so so.
Ta seeing how Bitcoin moves, understanding the cycles of Bitcoin now has this. Of course,
inherent value. Like people should know this stuff. It's why on the dream side we push for like
Web3 literacy. Like you need to know what this stuff is. And I don't really know TA.
That's why I love chatting with you, who who reads the charts and puts lines on things.
I'll probably put some charts here over a speaking. I I hope you do. And and just let me explain to
people like that that it's hard. It's not easy to learn this stuff, right? Like I've tried
and I've seen his work, man. He puts in a lot of time. But the value of doing that
and seeing how things move, there's there's something there, and it's not
a one hundred percent guarantee that you'll be right. Again, it's just
where where it could reasonably go, like yeah. So to not not it's it's. Possible. It's not possible.
Is it probable that it'll go here? Yeah, it's probable it's going to drop right now. You're like,
but I don't want it to. But that's that's not what happens. What you want, it's what's probable.
It's probable that it'll rebound here and it'll bounce to here because it's done so in these ways
before. There's support here, etc. So I, you know, I understand it's hard for people to understand
the value of it. I think that's that's why we need some more literacy and we need to teach people
why they should learn this stuff. So I think you, as a self-taught TA analyst,
I think that's where there's value in what you've learned in the trenches, just like working at it.
Yeah, but I'm like geeky about it. Like I've been going down through history, right?
Like what happened before 9/11? Like, like who was dumping money? And then I'll go back
and I'll be looking at the dollar. I'll be looking at different currencies, different companies.
Like who dumped what? Let me look at these charts. What happened to the gasoline?
To the power sector? Is there any weird stuff? And a lot of times it is.
And the crazy thing about these lines is that it goes back throughout history. Sure.
And if you think about it. If if me and you were two elites, if we were whales,
we owned all like which I am elite. Like so, we can literally call the. You could push markets up
or down if you know where to buy. Yeah, but like the way I trade, right, is very visual.
I could literally call you, and you can train. I can train you to do it exactly like like I would.
I would tell you buy the four hour, pull level. Yeah, on the daily, and you're gonna be like, okay,
you're gonna go look for it. Boom, you're gonna find it. You're gonna mark it,
and we will both buy there together. Like our million bucks and my two million bucks. And then we,
you know, so we could we could plan it out. You would see it visually. Yeah.
And you move markets that way too. You can literally dictate. And people were doing this before AI.
Yeah. It's just pain. Is these levels where you break everyone. This is where you trap people,
where people think it's going lower, and at the same, and so you trap all those people that think
it's going lower, for example, and then you liquidate everyone that was going to go up. Right.
So you're looking for those levels where you break everyone, and that's the safest way to trade
or whatever. That's one way. Yeah, there's millions of ways of trading, right?
I like the visual way. Some people use like indicators and moving averages and like that.
I don't know. It gets a little confusing. Yeah, I do it. Everything I do is completely 100% free,
and you've seen it. Like, I mean, but I do it more not so much to make money. Um, to be clear,
I haven't made any money. If anything, I lost a lot of money. But but now I'm getting to a level.
Invested money into the space. No, I literally opened up my first my first um. Hyperliquid account.
Oh, I need to do a Strikeforce or Strike Finance. Yes, Strike Finance. Oh, we actually did set up.
Sean and the homie, yeah, Strike Finance. And let me just really quickly welcome up Patrick
to the space as well, man. What a great to have you, man. Me and Razel here, Bad Money,
are sharing the mic. So just jump in at any point because I don't think we'll be muting it
unless we need to. Go ahead and mic check. Hello, sir. Good to talk to you again. Hear your voice.
Patrick, let's go. Bad money. Good to meet you, Rod. We have to talk soon. Yeah,
as soon as practical, dude. Everything we talked about in San Diego is like ten times better. Oh,
damn! I can't wait to talk to you, damn, dude. Yeah, dude, you are not gonna believe the shit
that we were doing. It's awesome. That's crazy. Okay, yeah, no, I would love to catch up.
I have some time right now. Over the summer, I will be free tomorrow. You know, yeah.
Just let me know, man. Yeah, maybe maybe tomorrow afternoon your time, early evening my time. Yeah.
We've got. We have a lot of stuff going on, but something. The thing that I was like, oh shit,
I got to call Rod. We are doing something with University of Oregon education,
and you will be very pleased with with what it means for the students. So I think you'll.
It'll be fun. There's lots of cool shit going on. Oh hell yeah, man! That's cool,
and and definitely that whole academic ecosystem is one that. I, as you know,
I'm interested in onboarding and getting info to the children. And you know what? Hey, Rod,
you know what's funny? Yep. You know how many times in this very space you've talked and said,
and we've all said, but you've said about like how being you've always felt like, oh,
I'm a little ahead because we talk about it here. And there is such a philosophical angle to
how all this stuff works that I was actually saying to somebody the other day, I was like,
"There's this place that I started talking about this stuff years and years ago," and I was like,
"I'm telling you, I feel so ahead because." That amongst many things, but it was it was very funny
to be like, yeah, we were talking this for like four years. Yeah, yeah.
And and I was actually so so Razo has been a part of the the main network,
boots on the ground for a long time, but he he just recently started joining the spaces,
and you know he's he's my co-host here now. Relics on a bit of a hiatus.
He hasn't he hasn't come around for a little bit. I texted him the other day, but. You know,
Flood's with him right now. By the way, I heard him the other night. Oh, oh, okay.
I remember he was with him for a little while, and I thought he had made his way. Yeah,
Flood just got back like yesterday or something. Gotcha. Okay, cool. Then yeah,
they're probably hanging right now. So it's too bad that they're not jumping in here. But anyway,
you know, yeah. Fuck, I forgot where I was going with that. Oh, you're talking about bad. So yeah,
Razo, Razo then is just now learning about some of what we have been talking about at the ministry
for a little minute here, and just to all the different kind of conversations that happened over
200 episodes, and a lot of it kind of repetitive at times, and some
like deeper philosophical banter, and then some degenerate hours, all kinds of things.
We had it all. Yeah, that we've that we've that we've done here with you included. You know,
just this whole, it was fun, man. It was a nice ride. I can't wait. Maybe for the vibes to improve,
for people to kind of start coming around again. Shout out, space lady down there.
I hope I'll see you at Rare Evo. I don't know if you're coming around to Rare Evo or anything,
Patrick, but I'll be there. And anyway, he's. I've I've been catching him up a bit
about what we were talking about. Even as we both agree that we want to create new content together,
because you know we don't find too many people who are really passionate about the space
at this point. They're busy outside the space. So I think I'm trying to look for people now
to collaborate with. We can double down on content creation and things that we want to do together
in the academic space. You know, I'm finally about to publish some tools that will be usable,
and of course, I'd love to collaborate with different universities and institutions on. Yeah, no,
no, no. It's funny. It's all coming. Like I knew this day would come because you get to this point
where AI is doing this stuff, and I was like, you know what we need. A verifiable trust layer. Yeah,
right. It's it's so much bigger than what we even thought. That's the best part.
Like the amount of data you need to track for different reasons is so important.
So it's it's coming back, and I was like, shit, I'm coming back. I love it, dude. Hey, listen,
like I, you know, we should we should definitely just keep the positive vibes going because there's
a lot of bullshit that stays. Oh, dude. While while all the people like you
and and others kind of went off into the world to do things, myself included too, right?
Like I haven't hosted the ministry for a few weeks. Because I've been very busy with with life
and stepping away a little bit, but mainly to to continue working in a different way, right?
Building locally, building some tech, actually going out there to make
more partnerships on the ground to get more community engagement. You know, I I did
the three years on the AI stuff at the colleges, and that was interesting
because like it sort of helped me see where we were in the space at the time. Like you're saying,
exactly. Exactly. And and it was I'm so grateful. It's it's paid it's it's paid dividends already.
Just that whole experience, all those conversations. That we had here, sort of going into big ideas,
and anyway, now I think I want to do the same for blockchain in the same capacity. So basically,
whereas before I went and set up like a six-part AI series that I gave to my colleges,
I'm going to do that with with Cardano and Midnight. And I'm going to say, here's what they are,
and here's how they work, and how can we maybe partner with these institutions to do something
meaningful for the colleges? So absolutely, you know, let's talk about how you're doing that.
And yes, all it does, it just makes it faster and easier. That's it, right? Like nothing.
Like the cool thing about what we've been doing. Is and and it's again.
It's very much in line with this whole thing about like. It's funny, you know what
I say all the time. Is I always talk about the Hermetic episodes that we did,
because it is the it is the key. Yes, exactly. That is that's the thing because it is this weird
like juxtaposition of you have to treat it one way, but hold your head it's another way,
and it's this back and forth that keeps going through, and it's it's. The crazy thing is, is,
and I think this is where educators and that kind of mindset matters the most.
Is that when you bring all of the capacity, as in the skills and the intelligence,
all the stuff that that everybody's valued for so long, when it goes away and accelerates,
it just puts people in this point of like, how do you facilitate? Getting people to talk
and getting people to debate and like all the things that schools and teachers
and facilitators are good at, it like puts it, it puts it right back there
because it starts blowing up socially. It's it's it's weird. I think that's why it worked here,
honestly, too, is because sort of what what I always brought to the to the triad of original hosts
at the ministry was that more academic side of things, where you don't just try to understand
the idea, but you try to walk people listening through it so that they can engage with it
in a critical way too. And so that was an important aspect, I think, of the early success
of the show. Was like, wait a minute, we get to talk to people that are passionate
about this conversation, but we're also going to get our voices heard and sort of, you know,
sort of reason our way through it ourselves and disagree together. And you know,
Relic would would very proudly remind us all that he takes a contrarian position
to my own all the time. And yeah, that's that's the devil's advocate that you need to
truly understand ideas objectively. And I think you know Razo will attest to this as well,
right from his experience. Not through the academic side, just socially in life,
like all these people, people are are having a hard time, sort of grappling with both crypto and AI,
and it's nice that we can put them in the same basket now. Because for a long time,
we were only in the crypto basket with with Cardano, and then you know, in Bitcoin, and then.
You know, I wanted to look into smart contracts and like how do I get students' hands on them,
and it was very hard to build on Cardano. But then it was no easier to build on Ethereum
or anything like that for a non-developer like me, right? I'm an English teacher,
but I like facilitating conversations. So what we could do was was then ask the right questions
to give people means to add their voice and just think about it at their on their own terms.
And I think that's been the big success for me about what we brought to the table was like, yeah,
we we explored this like a newbie and like a high-level thinker at the same time,
and then we showed you where it connected just to life and society around you,
and And then we had the difficult conversations so far ahead of the spaces outside that,
to your point, like I walked out and was able to monetize my experience with AI. You know,
people paid me to go speak on it at different colleges. Like they flew me to Oregon to go
and like give a keynote speech on AI educate in education. And I only didn't continue to monetize
that side of things because you know I have two kids and they're getting older,
and I really was thinking about spending time with them and and working on on just life here
in San Diego. Just I. I'm acclimating myself still to things, you know.
I I didn't want to devote all my time to just that, even though I was like, damn,
you can make a you can make a bag here. Like people will pay you a pretty penny if you know what
you're talking about. And and there was no experts, right? There was no degrees.
There was no fucking. Um, I've been studying. Oh, they're still not, dude. They're still not. Well,
now they'll now they'll try to sell you a course or some shit, and I think it's fucking hilarious
because like SDSU. Oh, it's so bad. SDSU has a course, dude, a certificate, and I'm like,
can I just get the certificate if my content is the content that educates your educators? Like
when I take this course, it's Me, I'm learning. What are we talking about here? You know,
like just give me the back. Let me test. Honorary certificate holder. Yeah.
Let let let me let my AI bot take the fucking test for me. It was it was the teacher anyway. Yeah.
Yeah. So so anyway, like now you take that into the world and you see that it is way behind.
And not just that, that even if if there are a few of you ahead, that there's so many others
that are behind, or maybe louder than you, or more connected than you,
or just have a bigger podium than you, who can shape the conversation towards the negative, like.
I lived that with AI. So going from the crypto stuff to the AI stuff, I was like, "Damn, man!
No matter what I get into, they just fucking hate on it." And and then you know, all of a sudden,
um. All of a sudden, crypto is is returning to your point because of of now a new need, right?
This like, oh shit, we need we need identity, we need real ownership, we need real world assets,
like we need verifiability and trustlessness. And well, if only we had a technology that does
all those things. Yeah, no, absolutely. So I I think I'm excited for the next. I I want to say.
Five years of of just what will happen, where we'll be, as as these even like new technologies
like Robinhood chain we were talking about a little bit ago, like of course they went with
a a blockchain technology, of course they did, that just just all their consumers
will now have access to crypto markets, but now. Can we now take on this narrative that brings
those people as users to our ecosystem, which is I don't think currently connected to Robinhood?
And guess what? We find ourselves in the space we've always been in, where Cardano is just an island
in itself. When new things emerge, and I'm not even mad about it. I'm just stating those facts
to suggest: all right, same old, same old conversation. This is where we were a few years back. So
if it goes the way that the five years went. You know, in this past little cycle where we
where we got to experience euphoria and and good vibes, and we traveled
and we engaged in real world situations, and we we took our experience outside of the space as well,
right? Then like I'm I'm very bullish to use the lingo of the space for what comes in
the next few years, because that was that was when the technology was inferior to where it is today,
and I couldn't get people using crypto as easily as I can now, and And you know, two QR code scans,
you're in. Like we were talking a little bit before you got in, Patrick,
about our World Cup watch party, and like it was just fun onboarding wallets, new users,
people who had never used it, giving them a little pamphlet that I made that gave them
some educational literature on what a blockchain is, what you know, rational privacy is.
Shout out Midnight for for that whole side of the conversation, right? But like,
here's some education. Here's some fun. Now you know how to use a wallet.
Now you know about storing your keys. Even if you don't do it, even if you never touch the stuff
again, it's it's nothing to you because we gave you some data. You you sign some transactions.
You understood some concepts. Hopefully, that's it. You move on, right? That was the experience,
and and you. You know the technology has improved so much that now we can do that easily.
And to your point, with students, like put it in their hands and say, "Here you go.
What can you do with this? Even just transact with each other, or now go explore your creativity,
mint an NFT, or you know go explore your creativity with AI music and things that you make,
art that you put on the chain, which I know Patrick, you are a big fan of, so." Anyway, man,
great to hear you. Great, great that you're here. I I think make making more a constant
because I want to do these more often. But we need we need to bring back the the community vibes,
man. We need we need the the community back. To to your point, I think this is where we've said this
once before, many times, where it's like you need to go make something and then tie it back into it,
right? Because I want to give everybody. And what's funny about it is I want As we've said
many times before, it's just going to be the attributes that we talk about.
Nobody's going to care what it is. But I will tell you, I am more confident
in my original prediction now with Midnight and Cardano and sort of the combination of the two.
I still wouldn't pick any other chain to put this on. Because now it's going to become
a it's going to become a real life scenario with people's information, business information,
and the combination of the two. And I'm not picking any other chain for the same reason
they started. Is just weirdly to your point, it's like it's going backwards in time,
and it came maybe cart before the horse. Yeah, and I think it was one of those things that I'm not
surprised it came cart before the horse. And in my background in finance,
it's like this problem was much more obvious to me. Early, not because I'm special,
but because you see it faster. And if you work in the the operational side of money,
but also because you're like, this is obvious. Yeah, but also I'm special. No, but you. No, no,
but but like but like it. What you realize is you you're in the problem already,
and then you're like, oh, it's the same problem, different toolset. Yeah,
and and I think the thing that the other thing that we can talk about here, if you want,
but in the early preliminary use cases that we've done with these students in the business school,
and and is Has been exactly what I was hoping, which was it makes people more engaged.
It makes it more relevant. It makes it more accessible, quicker, and you learn faster.
You're more energy. It's it's so it's it's it's awesome because people are excited about the stuff
they're learning because they directly apply it immediately, and you give them a tool that that is
a true assistant to their learning. And then what do you know? Same amount of time,
twice the learning, and and and everyone's like, I'm ready for more, and it's yeah, but. But all,
but it's just an amplification of the person. That's all it is. It's not the tool came.
It's not the tool is better than them, and it helped them see something. Right.
It's that it's a tool that helped them themselves realize something faster and better.
And that's so much more exciting because then you're empowering a person,
and then you're empowering a company, and then you're empowering whatever community.
It all cascades, and it's like. Its best use case is education. No education,
not just in the traditional academic sense, but like helping people learn on the job in the moment
that it matters, and it makes it so much simpler to do that, and that's exciting. Yeah,
I'm I'm definitely curious about how you're doing it, and so I'm I'm looking forward to talking to
you. Oh, it's it's it's that's the yes, because it's all a matter of what perspective do you start
with, right? Because the tool this is the I mean this is this is a great general AI comment.
It's already capable enough. Everybody, everybody can make the generic thing agent,
whatever you want to call it. Everybody can make the one that is that is not applied to
any individual use case. Right to your use case to your business, whatever it is. Right.
Everybody can make the best one in theory. And and and you know what? The only pushback
that I'll give you is is and and this is like at the high level use point where I think we we reach
the plateau now where where you really do have to bring something extra exactly to the to to
to really get the type of output that you want now. It will give you complex things like even
like the new instant one and and just some of the the newer models that are coming out.
It they do great at creating now materials that look really professional, really awesome.
But when you really look at the quality of them, you go, could I have put this together
in just a few minutes of my time? And the answer is yes, yes, I could have.
Then you think about all of this generation power that just went into this menial task.
Now I only say that as someone who was also trained in creating some of those materials, right?
So like the point here is that it democratizes that process, and now anybody can do that and create
complex things and. There's just this interesting leveling up of of the baseline if you
if you think about it that way, but not everybody has vision and not everybody has the energy
to execute that vision. And and there's this whole new side to human existence that
I think is is being unleashed right now or sort of un I don't know like the the the bottle top
the the puddle top is off and and and now we're we're getting this weird new the the soup is brewed
right pull off the lid and we we got this new concoction of human uh that that Will be using AI,
coexisting with AI. You know, AI is already sort of co-intelligence we work with,
and really now it becomes about the harnesses that we put on top of the very powerful LLMs,
and and even the idea of harnesses are things that people need to understand that you can put
constraint constraints on some of these things, and and that blockchain can serve as
a constraint mechanism for these things. So there's just this this. Synergy
that that I think is I'm now excited to to bring to the table in front of audiences.
So I think that's something that maybe we could we could possibly partner up on too.
I think it'd be oh yeah do like a like a panel a co a co academic panel or something between
the University of Oregon and maybe San Diego Miramar College or or the UCs
and have this conversation with their students and their clubs. Facilitate it, you know,
and make sure that they engage. We can onboard them. We can give them goodies away.
We can just make it really meaningful. Maybe that speaks to some of what you're already doing in
your own neck of the woods, man. But I definitely look forward to our conversation,
and it's awesome to hear that you're having success. Onboarding people and still out there, man,
grinding and kicking and building. You know, like shit. I thought the D gens
all were gonna stick around, but hey, we we're doing work in our own meaningful way
and checking in every so often. And it's awesome when you when you do get. Actually,
that's a that's a good point, right? And I think that. But you just the last thing you just said
is is I was like, listen. I gotta go like out in the world. It's a you know,
it's very sort of metaphorical. You kind of kind of go out, you know, and then come back in
because at some point you are like, man, somebody's. We've talked about it here many times.
Somebody's got to go do it. Like the the the engine. The engine is the people.
It's like this shit is just that. It's just a receipt system. It's all just a receipt system. And to
and to be honest, like like you know, I I'm gonna pass the the mic here to Razo too,
who's gonna walk us through a little bit of TA stuff in a minute. But like part of part of
why I'm teaming up with him very closely now on a few projects is is
because of the same the same reason that I've always wanted to work with you on something.
The same reason that I've always wanted to work with Big Joe on something. You know,
like like like these are the people that I spent my days with, and we're all interested
in this thing succeeding and. At some point, weβI don't know whyβat the time during the high points,
in my opinion, we didn't just fucking come together and make something together at the time. Then,
even however rudimentary it would have been, and so I don't think
it would have been successful though. Not because of anything we would have done or not done.
I think what you're getting at the beginning of this is that. It's a timing question,
and like I think it, I think carp came for before the horse to get more people.
Not not not that it couldn't have been realized, but to get make it more obvious
because when it was so obvious that things can just be generated infinitely,
which we kind of talked about it before AI general because it was it was already overwhelming.
It was already too much, and so people themselves would create copy collections,
and so you don't need AI generating the same bullshit. Yeah, yeah, enough. Yeah, so no,
but but also. Well, anyway, I forgot where I was going with that. Let me let me see
if Razo wants to do a little TA ish. Yes, please. Sorry, we we we we were sort of catching up
and taking over. So let's. I'll pause for a second. All good. All good. No,
I was just gonna post some TA charts for you guys all on the comments.
I still think we got a little bit of pain though, and but I I like what you guys were talking about.
I think we are in this like collision with technology, and I'm glad to be here during the bear,
the bear market, the pain. I don't know. I feel very comfortable here in the chaos.
Everything that's happening is not really unexpected when you look at enough of these charts.
I guess call it the TA. Like I've been telling Rob, dude, I've been going down
through the listβnot just cryptocurrencies, but like Tesla, Apple, Google, all these stocks, right?
Palantir, all these semiconductor companies, Microsoft. I've been going through all these charts
through the history of the dollar and all this, right? And what I realize is
that they always dump it before they pump it. And I have no doubt in that there's going to be
a better future for cryptocurrency. And I feel like some of this pain was probably necessary.
I think we went a little bit crazy with all this meme coin mania. And honestly,
I don't know that a lot of these coins will come back. I think I think we just went crazy, right?
And the world is like, what did crypto really change? What was the whole point of this?
Like everyone, money I have in my bank account. Hey, yeah, everyone just sort of feels scammed.
So I feel like we had to go through this shedding. This is just a cycle of nature.
This is just a cycle of balance. But I see it in the charts and I see it in the news, right?
I believe that you can't stop code, right? You can't control the code.
And it feels like clarity act. All these things are around the corner. There's no stopping this.
It seems to me that AI and cryptocurrencies actually. Go together. That's why I haven't really felt
any fear at all. It's like it's just people haven't put it, haven't put this together, right?
Most people don't understand this technology, especially something like like midnight. Let's say,
it's it's hard to explain something like that. I've I tried before, and people are just like,
what What are you saying, right? So, so the people haven't realized what's happening here.
These things are married, and And we're we're about to crash with technology.
And I've been messing around as an artist. I'm a musician myself, right?
I've been all kinds of rock bands, metalcore bands, like that kind of shit, you know, like metal,
like metalcore, like super technical. Wait, wait, before you you proceed, Patrick,
is this a question about something he's already said? Because I see your hand up. Yeah, go for it.
No, no, just whatever. Interrupt me. No, no, no. I I actually think just I was just going to add to
what you're saying of some. Some real life examples, but keep going. I'll whenever you're
you're done, um, I will contribute because what you're talking about, I have some some some evidence
to back it up. Cool, cool, yeah. Because I've been playing around with this AI tool. Like, um,
I was a little bit opposed to this AI music as a musician, right? But I've been playing around
with it, dude. This is a whole new instrument, and it only got better now. Like before,
you could just like create these little songs, but now you like you can break these songs
and nerd out. And I'm a musician, right? So I can have the drums here. I can have the bass.
I can bust up my bass, and I can record it. I can record my voice now, and it sounds like me.
So now I have like. Like a hundred songs, and fifty of these are bangers.
Like I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to live without these. Like some of these tracks
have literally made me cry the first time I heard one of these songs. I was like, holy crap!
And my family, my I'm about to have a kid. She's probably gonna grow up listening to this AI music,
and it's fun. If you go on YouTube too, like there's a Slipknot show, a Slipknot song
that's been turned into jazz, so now I can share that with my grandma and shit. Yeah,
it's a great song, right? So, and as an artist, it's cool because. We are all now our own empire.
I can do things now. I'm writing a book, and I hate writing. It's crazy. What are we doing?
Before you go on the writing thing, the the music thing, the part that's so powerful about that,
from my point of view, with the children, because you mentioned Ros is having a kid,
and and I have my daughter Sophia, who has absolutely learned from me. She knows what Cardano is.
She knows what Knight is. She knows about AI, like. We have Morpheus, who we write stories with
before bedtime. So, like, I see the value in teaching the children about the music
and about the storytelling and about the capacity for artwork with this technology. Absolutely. So,
I just wanted to kind of chime in on that part. That's that's where the value is for this technology
is. There is a way to use it in these ways, and and Ashley Patrick is an art historian,
so he's he's sort of brings the same focus of like what is artwork and and what are
the artistic movements that have come in history, and so I I think that that's where there's
a real value we have to teach people, but yeah, so so you're also making music,
you're also making artwork, and the The real part to focus on is man. He was able to do a lot
of that. I've been able to create what I'm creating. Patrick's done what he's done in
the last few months, the last few years, and imagine how productive we've been. Now imagine
the next five years, ten years with this technology. Holy shit, it's going to get better,
and we're going to get more complex capacities. And what do we do with that?
How do we leverage them for human good becomes an important question. How do we leverage them
to make money? Of course, because we need to sustain ourselves. But how do we be ethical
with this stuff or unethical as well? Because these technologies are changing how we behave,
society, etc. So yeah, no, that's I just wanted to chime in on that. Yeah,
I'm so excited about the future. Like, yeah, we find ourselves
in this crazy technological crossroads, and I don't, I, I see these tools as empowering
if we choose to see them that way. Of course, there's some people, some bad actors coming our way.
I feel like that, that was expected, but I think if we can unite and come together,
especially during these tough times, where I feel like this is where we need to community more.
Yeah, like you said, I wish everyone put a limit by. This is not financial advice.
I think we need to protect all our chains, actually. Protect the chain.
Because I'm looking at these levels right where you liquidate everyone. Hold the door. Right. So,
like I said, before they pump all these stocks, they always destroy them.
They break these levels that, as a technical analyst, I look for over and over and over and over
and over. But I think it's important. I think it's important, though, to to call out who they is.
I don't know who they is. So I'll tell I'll tell you who they is. Tell me, baby.
That's what I'm saying. Is like they is sort of this weird consensus. Of financial analysts,
the cartels. Well, it's it's a combination of like two things, right? It is,
it is a pure financial analysis from all of the people that manage your money, my money,
everyone's money, government's money, right? Because it's all a big pool, right? It's not. I mean,
it's segmented and sort of walled off a little bit, but at the end of the day,
it's like it's a big collection. I mean, this is the cool thing that that crypto has done for people
is it's helped them sort of grok the concepts of like at the end of the day,
it's one big fucking pool of money. Like that's it. A pool of value is probably better way
to say it. Given that we're talking about crypto, and like then that value then is segmented in
different markets. Those markets have different sort of regulations and different constraints
and different issues, and but they're also but but but because you know it all comes from
the same pool of money, you you start realizing that this like economics thing
or like these to your point about TA and markets and stuff like. Everything that anyone,
and I'm not a big traditional economics guy, but the the general sentiment
of like it's all connected, like all these little things impact all these other little things.
Like at some point in time, there you know it takes time to process as a system,
and and blockchains have, and public blockchains in particular have made it so,
made the concepts even if people don't quite. Like make the connection. That's it's the same thing.
It's at least made people much more cognizant of of how a system is designed and how it works
and how it all kind of cascades and kind of impacts each other. But like to your point earlier,
you already said it where. I think it's much more about that it's a cycle, right? And so, like,
there's the sentiment of the people, and this is why I brought it up: is the financial analysts
or people who are using tools to do whatever, and like, it's it's it's got
its own compounding effect where, you know, a negativity will be compounded,
and and it's all about this mindset. But the mindset doesn't it will kill individual companies,
but it won't kill the idea, right? To your point about protect the chain,
it's like what I said before, like. You have to pick what's going to last at the end of the day,
because Solana is coming and going, and it's it's it's now going and and but but I'm also working on
a project for my day job that is using tokenized deposits, i.e., blockchain has reached a level
regardless of which chain it is to serve at a traditional financial institution
and serve as the backbone, which traditionally had been only able to be produced
and serviced by like a big corporation hosting their financial ledger. Now that's just a utility.
I think the biggest piece here is like. Nobody, it hasn't changed. Nobody's gonna give a shit
what blockchain it's on. So it's on the people that understand the differences
between the blockchains to make something and put that on there, because nobody's gonna join.
Nobody's gonna join for the abstract crazy reasons that we're all here.
But that that doesn't mean they don't matter. It just means it's on us to connect the the real life
use case with the utility because. At the end of the day, like the analogy goes,
how many people understand how cell phone towers work? How many people understand how, you know,
energy transformers work and the whole like distribution of energy? Like nobody,
because it just shows up. Their life's better, and it just works. Blockchains never been
any different, but they are coming together, and AI is the, the use case.
That nobody's going to understand why blockchain's important. Right. We do,
and we got to pick the right ones to put it on because it can't fucking fail. Just
like you can't plug your business into the wrong utility company. Right. Thankfully, you know,
we fixed that. Anyway, I'll get off my my soapbox, but it's all fucking connected. Yeah, no,
I love that we're we're all sort of, of course, of a similar opinion here on that front. Right.
We don't always agree on everything, but I think we all see that there is something.
Wrong with the system as it is, and that there's there's a reason to look at blockchain technology
in a very real way, in a very real sense, and learn from not not the hype cycles
and the I mean yeah learn from those too, but like not that's not the that was never the main focus.
It shouldn't have been become the main focus. Meme coin mania, really. We we've had
other types of of pump and dump cycles and economies forever, right? In different different ways.
It just made it very easy in a digital sense to do that. And we will psychologically do it.
Even now, like you know, I'm gonna buy this meme coin and it's gonna pumpy, pumpy,
and I'm gonna dump it and I'm gonna make make a bag. And it becomes this play
that people almost can run if, as long as they have traction or they know how to build it
or they can run community behind it. You know, I'm looking at like Ansum on the Solana blockchain,
and I'm like. Interesting. That one generated a lot of interest, and and there is community
behind it. But it's so clear that this is a very centralized situation.
I think he holds like fifty six percent of the bag or something, and it's very much based on
like trust me, bro. But he's a good dude. So I look at these as like things that can happen in
the ecosystem given this technology's creation. And and we've had these these coins created on
Cardano as well, and of course somebody made an ansom on Cardano, a blue bull token or whatever.
And I'm like, there's a psychology to all of this that is being exploited.
The ones who can do it the best can make a bag. Now within that mess. Then we have to actually find
the people really trying to build something meaningful and trying to actually bring value to the
to the to the network, to the chain, to our communities. That's why often like Razo and I
and and Chile and I, who who basically operate the DRMD stuff on the ground here, we like default to
how do we partner with businesses and give them information that helps them understand
how this technology can be good for them. Like, how about we just go out and give that information?
And yeah, we've kind of like spent our time doing that because it's still valuable, man.
We're still so early that you really need to teach people the fundamentals
so that they can then understand how they can use it in some even even money generating way, right?
Well, I'll give you a slightly different reason to continue that, and I think this is something that
that like I've said many times that one of the weirdest and probably most problematic issues of of
of any public blockchain is that it's a it's a business tool. With retail connection
and like the people that get it or get pulled into it, that then get it,
like the allure is interesting and like it makes total rational sense.
But then you're expecting consumers to buy it, and like consumers are super fickle
and they don't care. They've got their life to live. These are these are right. They're just things,
right? That that that that. And it's like if it doesn't work, it doesn't work,
and I'll just drop it, right? Which is you get a lot. Businesses are
much more rational decision makers, so they take their time, whatever may be. So when you can,
much about the benefit of a blockchain as a utility is a rational decision making process that
you have to force through, like. The the consequences
and like consumers aren't going to think through those consequences and as we know it's it's obvious
in every cycle ever but but of everything but but businesses small and large that's that's
it doesn't matter as soon as the stakes are just slightly higher it gives you this this benefit
to talk through like and engage in the conversation that you can actually Demonstrate the benefits,
and and that was the part that's like okay, well, because no one's going to actually care
what's underneath. You have to talk to the people that do care about underneath,
but they don't care about which one, and that's the benefit where you actually can highlight
the the differences, which is you have to make it kind of anonymous almost, yeah,
because they will they will pick you. They they will trust you to do it, yeah,
because you've made the you've made the argument, yep, and and but that's not a consumer go to
market. It's it never will be. It never has been. Yeah, absolutely, and and I want to respond to
that, but I do want to welcome up the Ajani and Mitch. So, ill, what is up, homies, man?
It's good to see you guys back in the space here at the ministry. We've been away,
sort of doing some IRL stuff, and I've I've sort of you know propped the space back up periodically.
Razo here has now joined me as my new co-host of the space. What up? And you know,
it's just one of those things. We're we're gonna keep. Keep it going in
a slightly different capacity, right? Like some things transform, some things change.
We've already once transformed, and we're just going to keep it going. But now,
now connected to some of the old stuff that we have audio clips of that are recorded spaces
that we can always chime back in on. But now, from where we are now, as as having experienced
the highs and lows of the space. A fucking bear market that we have endured,
and sort of continued to build through, and the possibility that comes after the vibes return.
Because to be honest with you, I'm feeling good about this. Like I'm, I'm very much happy with
where we are right now. Just this lull. Of of I know we're in the lows.
I'm still thinking we're gonna dip a little bit more for that max pain that Rosal talks about.
But I'm just gonna see that as an opportunity to double down on the stake pool,
which I always wanted to get DRMZ to fucking you know the millions of saturation,
so that we could like power a lot of the dreams that we have been discussing here for a long time.
But I'm like shit. Give me 10 cent ADA. Watch, watch me fucking drop the bag, bro. You know, shit.
Give me. I think I caught 14 cents. Was the dip that I caught. I don't know if if anybody got lower
than that. Maybe that was the low so far. But Razo here thinks we're going down to like 10 cents,
9 cents, or some shit, right? What what is what is the the the lows? But yeah, no.
Shout out to to Jenny and Mitch. And yeah, I'm buying, bro. I'm NFA for anybody listening.
But for myself, as someone interested in like Growing and sustaining a stake pool operation
long term, shit. This is a blessing in disguise. I'm getting more ADA for less money
than I ever have. I've I've brought down my buying average drastically from
where I brought I bought in. And honestly, I feel I don't feel the financial strain of people
who really like over leverage themselves, and I think that goes back to to something funny enough,
like our tenants, right? Where we really would like tell people don't over leverage yourself.
And I I lived by it, you know. I I took risk. I've taken on risk. I I have lost a lot,
so I'm not gonna say I haven't lost. I'm not I'm not green candles all the way.
I'm bleeding like everybody. Um, but I'm like, damn, the tech is so much better now than it was
a few years back, and And we can now play a more literal hand in how people experience
this technology. And we finally got to the builder phaseβI guess
the developer phaseβwhere like AI is now helping us manifest some of those things that
we wanted to make. But we, oh man, hiring a dev is expensive, or or hey, you know,
building on on a smart contract on Cardano is going to cost you a lot. So now we have the MCPs.
Right now we have more tools and AI power is making it easier. You still should get your code
checked and all that good stuff before you sort of launch anything. But my point is,
I see the tech being democratized a bit more. I I'm very excited about about all that jazz.
So that's what I'm saying, dude. We gotta protect our chains, man. I'm gonna make
a more detailed video. So if you guys follow me at the Bad Money Six One Nine,
that's where I put all my predictions. So I'll make a more detailed video exactly to
to show you guys exactly what I mean because my TA is very visual. But yeah,
right now I'm looking at it like if it dropped this week, we're looking at like a six cent ADA.
Yeah, but the price is changing day day by day, right? The line that I'm tracking,
maybe all the way to point zero four seven six is one of the last levels I've been looking at.
That's the killer. That's where you kill Charles Hoskins, and that's where that's where that's
where we die, right there. Which makes sense, so because that's exactly what they do to
all these stocks. What's happening in crypto is not new, and what's kind of crazy is that crypto is
the only thing that hasn't. Pumped. It's just the way the the other. When I'm looking at
the macroeconomics, when I'm looking at the currency, the DXY, the dollar against other currencies,
I'm looking at the AI stocks are like overheated, dude. Everything's overheated.
Everything needs a little cool off. It seems like. And the only thing that hasn't pumped is crypto,
and I think it makes sense because regulation. I think the regulation
this time is just going to blast some of these things. And you can also see this on the
on the Bitcoin dominance chart, which is kind of crazy. My prediction so playing out right on time
is collapsing beyond some lines. But yeah, anyways, Jenny woulda. Hey, what's up, guys?
So nice to see you. What up? What up? What up? Happy Sunday. Hi, Jenny. Hi, Patrick. Hi, Mitch. Hi,
Rod. Hi, Ben, Money. Hi, everybody. Haven't seen some of you guys in so long. Mitch, so ill. Yeah,
I was just thinking the same shit. I was like, "Mitch, holy shit!" Hey, hey,
I was watching that new Tom Clancy movie on Amazon, and like during one of those scenes,
I swear to gosh, um, they were in Dubai and they were talking about like this is the safest place
on the planet because we know everything about crime and blah blah blah.
And then Jack Ryan felt safe about it, but I know for a fact that's just because of Cardano.
There you go. He's like, I know the safest blockchain in the world. It's called
Cardano native token ADA LFG. It inspires people with reliability. Fuck yeah! And I,
I wanted to like kind of like talk talk a little bit about this.
Probably a very different perspective, but before I do that, I guess I feel like
every I haven't been joining spaces lately, but. Um, I don't know. Just,
just can we just like send some love to to the the memory of Bone Pool? Hell yeah, friend Greg.
Oh Greg, man. R P to Bone. Yeah, no, we've been posting the link for the for the um.
I think they met their they met the commitment, right? Somebody like two wallets sent in. Dude,
that was amazing how that happened, dude. We were like collecting, like kind of like sharing it
on Friday, and right before right before we ended the space, Phil was like, Yeah, I'll.
We were just like, Hey, you know, we have this thing, and he's like. How much they need? I was like,
well, they're trying to get four thousand dollars, and it's like, so he tried to use the GoFundMe,
didn't work. I was like, well, here's here's the Hosky wallet. He's like,
is the money going to there? Can I trust this wallet? I was yeah, dude. Twenty seconds later,
he had sent twenty thousand. Yeah. Eight. I was like, you're fucking awesome, dude. I'm like,
beautiful. Who who was that sent that Jenny? That was that was. I mean, I don't know. Yeah, Phil.
But don't just like make a big deal out of it. Oh no no no. That was cool. It kind of got blurry,
or sort of like the audio skipped. But okay, no no yeah no. Shout out to him, man. Anybody. No.
Contributes and and is able to contribute. I know everybody's not able to contribute,
so it's always nice if you can. It was amazing. It was so sweet. And then
and then it was it was matched. The contributions in that wallet were matched. So amazing.
It was like it was friggin' awesome. I I feel great for Jasmine because I think that I think
it's important for her to to kind of see how much we loved him and appreciated him. Definitely.
One is that still open by the way? No, I yeah. Unfortunately, we're like on jarhead.
Pin it to the top, please. Yeah, yeah. I can't pin it. The first dude, I'm Android person.
I don't mind me. All right, let me see. Text me whatever. Just text it to me. No, I'll find it.
Is it on your page? I've I've been sharing it, yes. So it's it should be somewhere in there.
Like there's a there's a Ada address, and then there's a GoFundMe one. So
if you want to like donate, you know, money. And the thing is, like, he was so such an altruistic,
like, generous person. And I feel like he dedicated his whole life to like Cardano
and his raising family. And I'm like, I just want to make sure Jasmine knows that we loved him
as much as he loved us. You know, it's just like, oh my God, like we show up for him
like he showed up for us, right? Because she knows how much he dedicated to to this community,
and you know, I don't want her to feel like it wasn't worth it. You know what I mean?
Like he really made made good friends here, so. I found it. I mean, still post it,
but I found it on Jenny's space. Yeah, post it if you can. I can't seem to find it.
I'm being a being a crypto newbie. It's all good. I got it. You sound
like you haven't been doing spaces in forever, right? Like the space is like five years old,
probably. I mean, yeah, yeah. No, I we got to 200 episodes, and I remember Relic
and I always saying that that would be about time to take a little bit of a break.
And so he he definitely is taking a more serious break, and I'm kind of like you know I think
I think it's time for a revamp of of bringing back some of the old energy,
and it's only once a week. I was actually thinking about doing more, so Razo here
and I are doing another little mini series. That we're going to call Blocks Against the Machine.
Yeah, baby. That brings together kind of you know what what I've been doing with. Yeah,
I can't tell you don't. And do more ministries, do other stuff, so that way you can keep
the ministry, the ministry, and then you can expand into other things. And and I think honestly,
there was a point. It like comes with every show that that sort of loses support. Like,
do I keep it going? Do I? Is it you know? Is it call it a day? Like it ran its course. And you know,
I I think for me, I think. It's about rebuilding, but some core OGs will come through.
And obviously, here is a space filled with a bunch of people that were here from the beginning
with us. Philosophical combo. It's not gonna lie; those were like dope.
That's that's actually where we started today. Was was a little more on the philosophical side,
and and I'm glad that you brought that up because for the sake of maintaining that ethos.
I'm gonna do. I couldn't find a place to to fit it. That's what she said.
That now I'm gonna do it here. This section from the Prophet Khalil to Bron on buying
and selling because our topic of conversation was was money, right? Bad money.
Giving Razo here the space to talk a little bit about his concept of money
and and how his brand was built. But then I was like, you know, let's give it that vibe
where we like to think about ideas, and so I'm glad you said that because here is something
I wanted to read to you all, if you're listening now, if you're listening later.
It is from Khalil Gibran's book. It is on buying and selling, and here we go. So,
and the merchant said, "Speak to us of buying and selling." And he answered, and he said,
"To you the earth yields her fruit, and you shall not want if you but know how to fill your hands.
" It is in exchanging the gifts of the earth that you shall find abundance and be satisfied.
Yet unless the exchange be in love and kindly justice, it will but lead to some greed and to hunger.
When in the marketplace you toilers of the sea and fields and vineyards meet the weavers and cotters
and the gatherers of spices, invoke then the master spirit of the earth. To come into your myths
and sanctify the scales and the reckoning that weighs value against value,
and suffer not the barren-handed to take part in your transactions, who would sell their words
for your labor. To such men you should say, Come with us to the field,
or go with our brothers to the sea and cast your net, for the land and sea shall be bountiful to you
even as to us. And if there comes, and if there come the singers and the dancers
and the flute players, buy of their gifts also. For they too are gatherers of fruit
and frankincense, and that which they bring, though fashioned of dreams, is raiment
and food for your soul. And before you leave the marketplace, see that no one has gone his way
with empty hands, for the master spirit of the earth shall not sleep peacefully
upon the wind till the needs of the least of you are satisfied. What did you just say, homie? Boom.
Yeah, no, you know that that becomes a fun thing to kind of break down.
So I I don't know if anybody has any immediate reactions if you guys are listening
and if you would like to chime in before I I break down. But just the the last line is sums it all
up. In my opinion, well, the master spirit of the earth. Well, the the least of your needs
satisfied. That that line. And it's how how do you understand that? Like,
what's your takeaway from that line? It's kind of like um, can't you you can only go as fast
as the person in the back. Right, you know, you're. It's fun. There's always going to be
a distribution. There's always going to be people at the front and in the back. But at
the end of the day, you have to satisfy the lowest, not common denominator in a pejorative sense,
but like you have to satisfy the base need, right? And like whether it's a product,
like whatever your scope is, whether it's societal, subversion, product, whatever maybe,
if you're forgetting to take on the least, most important, like basic, it's Maslow. Pick your,
pick your, pick your framework, right? Right. The same idea when selling.
It's it's often that people lead with the cool new thing, but they forget the the original job
because it's sort of divorced from it. And then people are like, "What the fuck?
Like it's not working or whatever, or you're missing it, or people don't understand why the product
doesn't work. It's because the least common need isn't being satisfied.
And I think that's really that's just a but. But then societally, that sucks because the people
at the front are like, "Come on, people!" Like, and and I think that's it's been so instructive
in my experience with AI because you can put the best tool. In front of people,
and they will still refuse to use it, despite showing them. And it is nothing to do with the tool.
It's never the tool. It is no opinion. And it's so anyway. That's how I took from it. Well,
and and so the least among, like, yeah, a sort of way of ensuring that everybody has at
least the same capacity to. Try to seek to build their their life and their dreams,
and and we have everyone's got the same base. Yeah, yeah. Everyone's base needs they need taken care
of, even if you are different in skill. And you mentioned Maslow, which is
you know we can't just simply like you know sort of sort of sort of not dive into that a little bit
because that that. Larger theory is very important for understanding that if you don't have
those basements need, like there's just no way for you to philosophize or make artwork or be poetic,
like hungry or be creative. Yeah, exactly. And so you don't have an equal chance to pursue
those higher order things that you should be able to pursue. That we believe, then
that maybe like Web three technology can give you a bit more freedom towards. And yeah,
as an artist, you could make an NFT. I've seen people do it in in the space.
Some some some artists that I saw on the Bitcoin network with Ordinals. Made some Bitcoin songs,
or made a song that she minted on Bitcoin as an ordinal, and sold. I think the song
for like one full Bitcoin or something. Like somebody ended up buying it almost
as an artistic statement, because obviously you could get the song for much less.
But it's this is the concept of NFTs and ownership and digital ownership
and all those things that we signed up for long term. And so I think about the preceding line just
before the final one that you liked, just to contribute like my own little analysis here too.
And if there come the singers and the dancers and the flute players buy of their gifts,
also was one of those where it's like. Yeah, you can choose to be an artist in a in
in this community, and you should still be sustained by the community who values artwork
and who values. Now, it's it's a hard sell, right? If you are like, bro, I don't have
fucking money for food, I don't have money for artists, right? But like,
that's why we need a better economic system so that we could have the extra money and not have
bad money and debt and be in a situation where we could invest in our communities.
And one of those ways is through artwork. So, you know, people. But I think I think that what
you are getting at that that's important is that like even though mass Pop art doesn't matter
the medium. Even though those of us who appreciate more niche art or whatever you want to call it,
it's like it doesn't make pop art not art. It's just means you don't like that art,
and I think that's this thing that's been such a hard thing to get people be like, just
because you don't like it doesn't make it not art, and you you're you're in the pool with them.
And and I think that's kind of what you're getting at, and this why it's about selling is
like there is not enough capacity to take on this niche art yet, like it's not possible.
And the value that you're talking about is, I think, in the closing line where where he says,
you know, and that which they bring, right, whatever we choose to call that,
because you just basically named it, and that which they bring, though fashioned of dreams,
is raiment and food. For your soul, right? So, like, yeah, you're you're buying their artwork,
but you're not just buying artwork. You're you're buying what it does for you.
You're buying the good that they bring, which is not just a material value. You bought a painting,
but rather what you will experience every time that you view that painting,
or the memories that you attach to that painting, or there's something valuable there. For sure.
So anyway, using your your money to buy things that are meaningful, including experiences,
including artwork, making sure that that everyone's basic needs are met,
so that we do support our own little economic development here in the space. I mean,
it makes a lot of sense. It's things that we talk about outside the space. The preceding,
I'll pass the mic. So I have one more sort of analysis of an earlier point, but yeah,
anybody else that wants to chime in? Yeah, yeah. For me, having. I love this technology
because I have, I think, visions. I'm not a writer. I was born here in America, San Diego,
but I was raised in TJ. I did kinder here in San Diego, and then I took
Spanish classes in Tijuana for like three years. Came back, anyways. I hate writing, but now,
and I think visions, like it's hard for me to put these ideas into perspective.
And those words were beautiful, but it's like if. I'm trying to get through like the people that
I grew up next to the border because I grew up in the border. I was born here in San Diego,
and it was weird looking at how people were switching pesos for dollars
and just the different culture. And one side of the border, you had the greatest empire
in the world, America, right? And I knew I was born here, but I lived in Tijuana,
and you could see all the kids in the border struggling for money and stuff. And I don't know.
So this idea of money kind of stuck with me. Also, I was born a little bit religious, right?
I believed in Jesus, and I was watching all the Jesus movies where he walks into the temple
and he's mad at the at the money changers. So this idea of money just sort of stuck with me
as I went through my life. And I every time I follow the path, when I saw a problem in the world,
because I always wanted to fix problems. I'm an idea guy. I have problems, ideas for everything.
But money was always either in the way, or it came against the thing that we needed. Right?
Like money always. There's always more money for war. There's always more money to bail out
the banks. Right. This is why Bitcoin. Came here in the first place, right?
This is why I'm in cryptocurrency, even right now through the bear,
where everyone just sort of hates crypto. But I think we find ourselves in a unique position,
and I hope that people in cryptocurrency can come together. I'm looking at the technology.
I'm not paying attention to the drama. Maybe I should. People are speaking about centralization
and this and. I don't really know what's going on with the community, but I'm looking at our world,
and it's cool because in in some ways this is the best time to live, right? We have telephones
and AI, I'm building a whole media empire, right? There's like videos still sort of suck,
but all my songs eventually are going to be color coordinated, and there's going to be
music music videos for it. I have this book coming along, and it's all about changing money, like.
I just try to keep it simple. Like, if there's aliens out there, would they do money the same way
that we do? Would they create money from debt? Most more specifically, is my question. Like,
why are we born into debt? How do we own the debt of dead people to dead people? And until we don't,
if we don't fix this question, which is at the foundation of our society, if you think about it,
because so much is fueled by debt, we're literally borrowing against the future. And again,
we're we're in this like digital crossroads, this collision, and AI and robotics.
With I don't know what jobs are going to survive. So it's obvious to me that we need new ideas.
And it's worrisome when we don't see our political leaders with any sort of solutions.
All you see them is building bunkers, and you see the wars getting out of control.
And in the current system that we have right now, the psychopaths will always always rise to
the top. Those who are willing to cheat, those who are willing to steal,
those are those who are willing to bend the rules to their will would always get to the top
of this game because this game is disconnected from from the human condition.
It literally disconnects our hearts from our minds. So I have this like crazy idea that I believe.
Reunites our hearts and our minds. It's beyond socialism and capitalism,
and you don't need cryptocurrencies to play this game. It's just more like imagine if the the money
came directly from from humans. Like, would you guys learn calculus or something if I gave you
a million dollars? Would you be motivated to learn calculus? I would certainly try. Right,
but right now, like a couple bankers get to create the currency behind some dark rooms out of that
out of debt, and then they tell us that we have capitalism. But if you think about it,
they always privatize all the capital, and then they always socialize all the debt.
So it seems to me like we're getting the worst of both. Worlds and the corruption is in
all our faces. I hear it everywhere. The the thing is is like, what do we do now?
And I'm looking at this technology and no one understands it. And I'm looking at the potential
that we have before us. And I feel like the crypto community needs to come together now.
And and remember that movie GameStop. Can we do the GameStop situation where we like all buy at
the same time and liquidate these mofos? I think we should, but but you can't in two breaths.
Like you can't say that. Nobody has these ideas, and then you say the crypto community
has to come together. It's like, why would they come together if there is no community
to come together? I say we show people where this is of interest to your life,
like it is of interest to your life in some way, shape, or form. So join the fight,
join the conversation, because you absolutely have to. And and before I hand it here to Jenny,
I just wanted to say in the in the poem, some of the lines that speak to what
I think you're thinking about is this inherent. Sense of justice that has to be there in the markets
for them to feel fair, and this whole idea of like how we determine value comes to my mind.
So he says, invoke. So when when in the marketplaces, you toilers of the sea and fields
and vineyards meet the weavers and the potters and the gatherers of spices, right?
So different people trading different things. When you meet someone that's trading something
different than you, invoke then the master spirit of the earth to come into your midst
and sanctify the scales. And the and the reckoning that weighs value against value.
What does that mean, right? Like be fair to the value that you are exchanging.
You have to have the sense of justice over. I gave you what I gave you,
and it was akin in value to what we traded. So there is no loss on my part.
I think I have been served well by this transaction. A fair game. That's what we all. Absolutely.
And so I think this is where it's saying like the the economy should operate in that way.
And so I just really like that idea. But I'm gonna pass it to Denny and then pass it back. Yeah.
I guess. Going back to what I was going to say earlier, I guess I just have a very different view
of this whole thing with blockchain in general, like kind of like tech. An investment as well.
I guess I have a different approach to all of it, and the way I look at our industry right now.
When I say our industry, of course, talk about like blockchain because this is you know
where we met. This is we're building all this all this stuff together, and Cardano. Um,
and I feel like blockchain in general, it's moving moving from the dot com phase,
kind of like into the internet infrastructure phase, right, and You know, almost everything,
anything connected to the internet at one point attracted money, kind of like what
we've seen recently with AI, right? So people were betting on the future,
and eventually the internet did become essential, just like blockchain will become essential,
has become an essential. But that didn't mean that every internet company recovered
and became valuable, right? So you can even take it. You can apply this to many different things.
Like cars changed the world. The roads expanded because of cars. Gas stations started coming out
like everywhere, popping everywhere, right? You have mechanics building businesses.
So many different like industries to form around out automobiles, right?
The auto industry was just huge. Everything was around around that, right?
But that didn't mean that every car company stock kept mooning forever. So during the boom,
people invested in almost anything that was connected to automobiles, like we did with crypto,
right? And because the world category, category, like, felt revolutionary,
like it basically was like you could not go wrong if you invest in anything that had to do with
fucking cars, right? But as the industry matured, the excitement became like more selective thing.
People started looking into like, you know, who's buying what, right? And Why and what what stays,
what doesn't stay, right? So cars are still being adopted, so it's like thinking that just
because cars are still being adopted, it automatically means that every car-related stock
must about be about to enter a bull run, right? And I feel like we're here maturing,
and we're still kind of waiting for a bull run, and This like crazy bull runs happen once
in an industry, and then everything else is more about companies and things that develop around
the tech. Right? We are not going to see the same thing we saw. Like we're gonna see
different things. If something crazy comes out of this, it's like insanely different
that we might see it on that side of stuff. Right? Kind of like you know with AI, the same thing.
Right? But I just don't. You know, I think that we need to stop investing as though if the invention
of You know, kind of like the car. In this case, blockchain or Cardano guarantees
that every car company will moon. You know, like we will get more adoption. Yeah,
that does not mean that you should think that all these prices that we get right now
are going to soar again and reach three dollar ADA. We might never reach three dollar ADA.
You know what I mean? It might it might go up because the user, the use cases,
it might not even reach that like the the use cases that we want because it's a big industry
and people are. Some people will survive and some won't survive. Right and I just,
I just think that we, you know, we got to look at it in a more mature kind of eyes, and, and,
and in that sense, you know, it's, it's cool. You can buy it if you're gonna use it, um, but uh,
you, you have to, you have to keep an open mind and start looking around
and really start seeing who's building and what future does this building that's happening with
this industry, what has future in it, right? And We instead of just the platform itself,
like not everything. The built-in Windows gets a bull run, you know. Windows doesn't get a bull run
because you build something that uses Windows and is successful. Windows doesn't necessarily,
but what what happens is that Windows becomes more stable as a as a as a as a company, right?
So you're like, oh, you know, how many people build on Windows? I think that's a good place to park
your money, right? Because it might not be going anywhere anytime soon,
so it's it's gonna be less like the the problem with speculation. You might go up and down,
but it might retain some value. The same with you know anything like that, right? So the Bitcoin,
so. Situation and and so and so on, right? So I think that um, yeah, it's a that's just kind of
like the way I see it. I feel like I just don't, I don't want to keep waiting for bulls.
I just you know want to kind of fucking build value, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well,
I agree with you 100%. By the way, about the transformation of the space,
and and I think I think we've we've been in some ways heading in this direction,
and maybe we're we're already there, but we're getting this like new cycle of.
I don't remember the early SPO days because I we came around epoch 314,
but I I always had this sense of like man those early SPO days must have been interesting
with people. We're about to launch this thing. Everybody, be the first, be the first,
and and some people there's inherent trust there because you were there from the early days
type of thing, and it's hard to get people to redelegate and all that. Be be there.
How do you get people into a community like that? But but anyway, I think that whole first wave was
it's gone. And so I always thought about our time as a stake pool more as like a business entity
becoming because we we are not quite so there, but like becoming a stake pool entity
that's becoming something more. And so what what is that something more?
Like we were not we were not developers. We couldn't contribute to the space in that way.
Now with AI, that's changing a little bit. We say, well, wait a minute,
maybe I can contribute something. So I'm only saying that to say I agree with your idea
that that the the space of boom boom for everything is done, and instead,
what we have to see is that Cardano is a blockchain where you can go and build solutions that, yeah,
bring meaningful transactions and value to the space. That's great, but really,
it's about you as a business entity or as someone trying to build something meaningful in the space
to just go and build it on whatever tools and Web3 you want. And so I, you know,
we're choosing Cardano for philosophical and emotional reasons. But maybe, maybe in some way,
like eco-friendly, if we really want to go down that road of of energy intensity technologies
like AI and blockchain. But I say it's up to the people now to think of themselves as builders
in the chain, in the space, much like the early internet came around and companies then built on top
of the railings that were built in that in that web sort of .dot com boom,
where we saw these companies emerge and all these companies vanish because you really can't have
a website for every single little thing. So I I think you're right. We have to look at it.
You gotta remember that not always the best one makes it to the top. So even
though you choose to build somewhere and you used to you choose that, if you're talking about
investment and where your money is gonna come from, you know, there's like this company called IBM
that had this amazing product called Lotus Notes, and then and it was a far superior product,
but Microsoft came and sold everybody Microsoft Exchange because they had a big machine
and a lot of money, and everybody moved and used Microsoft Exchange, and that totally like took
over, and it was a piece of shit. Yeah, no, there's nothing you can do about it. I I agree.
The best tech doesn't always win, right? But then I think that's why we we believe it's so. It's
early days, and we can go out and like teach people about this particular chain and why we value it.
And I think really where we were going earlier with this whole like. It's different, right? Patrick
and I were talking about how it's different. The vibe is different out in the real world,
and people are asking more about emerging technologies, and they have more questions,
and they're more willing to listen. And the young people, for sure, are curious about
how do I use all this Web3 stuff. So, if you can do it in a safe way that's fun and engaging,
and and it sounds like we are sort of moving in that direction, then you know I think
there's something valuable about the energy we can go out there and finally put.
Professional academic lectures on this stuff out into the community, as well as onboarding students
in fun and fun engaging ways. And there's going to be just a network effect if we think of this
as we're building solutions on blockchain networks. It's not that they will thrive
and like make you bags, but rather that you can go and build on these tools that that allow you
new powers and abilities. And there are new powers and abilities that can make your experience fun,
engaging, whatever you know, token gated, etc. Like, just let's use these tools finally
because we've been talking about them a lot, and I think this is the only way to make
them mainstream is to actually like use them. Yeah, but then you have
people like fucking like you know, Cash proposing something like that,
and people like boning it down. And instead, we just want to build more more infrastructure that
nobody uses, and it's like, it's like, I'm like, dude, we're missing the mark. Missing the mark.
Yeah, that's what I was saying earlier too. That we sort of had a coming here in crypto world,
right? We went a little bit crazy with this meme coins, stuff that literally makes nothing.
When in reality, we should have been supporting projects that were actually trying to do something
greater than that, and we just sort of just wasted it. And it's kind of crazy too that the president
just sort of dunked on us. Like, I mean, no, I know, right? I feel violated.
Our space got like slapped in the face, and now we're waiting for these people to give us the okay.
Like, all right, guys, now you guys can trade. Well, these mofos are doing inside trading, right?
That's what I'm saying. Like the corruption is in all our our faces, and like we even
if we prove 100%, all these videos come out about the Epstein files, let's say stuff like that.
It's like the question is like, what do we do about it? And it seems like the answer is nothing.
Is that what we're saying? Like I don't know. And I like crypto, even if it'sβI don't think it's BS.
I think it's just mathematics. I think it's technology, and it's the only tool that I see right now
that allows us to rethink some of these these matters, right? I mean, I feel like we need an update.
Like, why do we still have social security numbers? And have you guys been to the DMB?
It freaking sucks. Yeah, it does. It's just there's too much friction in the system,
and we can't even update that. I'm a mailman. I'm a federal employee, and it's terrible, dude.
I always look at all these solutions around me as a mailman. Like, what
if everyone could create their their house right into NFT? If you could have banking with us,
savings accounts with us. Maybe we we could do the election where I could go to people's place
and they could they could scan a thing and give me their vote or you know something like that
with technology, it could be counted way faster live probably. Why don't we do rank choice voting
and something like crypto allows us to do that? The only thing that's in the way is our governments
and the elites, and I don't expect those things to change. They're because the people that are in
power are the ones that are least going to benefit from things changing, and just what bums me out.
But I think people are beginning to wake up. I just don't think they understand the technology yet,
and I also think we have failed. Right? I don't think. Yeah, like you're saying, we need new ideas.
We need new something useful, a reason for the communities to come in here.
And I've been thinking a lot about those things in my book, because there's all kinds
of crazy things we could do if we pulled our money together into smart contracts.
It allows you to talk about new things that don't exist yet, where we could have like.
Like really low interest loans, let's say, like some people in the world pull their money right now
and they get interest free loans because they trust each other, right? What
if we could create something like that in Cardano? I mean, it's just the possibilities are endless.
But it's like no one really believes. I think, especially right now here in crypto,
I think everyone just feels like we got robbed. And now this is what I'm saying.
When you look at these charts over and we're here. Imagine the people outside.
They're not even gonna touch this shit. They're like. And like you said,
a lot of it is not coming back, and that's what I'm saying. They're going to these levels
where they destroy everyone. They want as much as the competition to go down,
and then they're gonna want us to invest in their companies, like we're hearing with Robinhood.
But it's also like these, there's a couple crypto cartels, right? They're gonna push us,
push us in their direction, and most people that don't understand the stand space are gonna do that,
right? Because if you gotta swim with the whales, you're gonna go invest in whatever
Blackrock is investing, even though you know Blackrock is evil. It's just this is what
we're playing. This is the game of money. If they make it easy for you to use,
and I think on the in the onboarding conversation, we know that Coinbase, even
though it's centralized, is honestly still what I use when I try to access Cardano itself.
Like I know I can buy from inside certain wallets, and there's fees that I'm not very happy with.
So I I end up using Coinbase very often to buy my Cardano. But you know,
I I think Epoch right likes to say, Jenny, that you treat the exchanges like a like a bathroom.
You just get in there and get out of there. And I I love that because it's true. You know,
you can still use this tool that is very centralized to empower a decentralized network.
That's just a vehicle for that process. Anyway, on that note, I say we we completely.
Help anyone who wants to onboard onto crypto using any particular technology.
You can buy Cardano on Robinhood, so I have no problem showing somebody how to get crypto
on Robinhood. It's not connected to the Robinhood chain at launch, right? Because it is ETH based,
or it's actually it's on a layer two Arbitrum, so it's Arbitrum based. Anyway,
it's not compatible with Cardano fully, other than through bridges. So, long story short, is
like it's early days in the space. I think Cardano will be one of those chains that can make it.
Like Jenny was saying, because The big companies that succeeded had vision behind them,
and I think what's nice is that our community has a lot of vision. It hasn't always had
the financial support that I think would allow it to thrive. It's cool that we have a treasury
that's being used and misused in a variety of ways. I know Cardano's Project Catalyst
is coming back in some small form. There's there's things that will allow people once again
to access funds from the ecosystem, but If you're just doing it your way, you can do it slowly too,
just taking your time, building on the chain, because it's starting to get better
and better to use it, and you can build more easily on it now using a little bit of AI power
and the MCPs that are out there. So I think it's about building on the chains now.
It's kind of my point. I had to walk away for a second and go and feed my my little baby boy,
Cam One, and wanting some stuff. But anyway, that's kind of what what I wanted to chime in on
for that point is that we have to use the chain now. We have to build on it.
We have to build solutions on it. We have to partner up with businesses that need Web3 solutions
that aren't going to build them themselves and don't even know that they're in need of these.
Like anybody that has a membership-based community anywhere can benefit from NFTs
and just community management tools that blockchain can enable. But can we now put them
under this nice little wrapper? This nice little hey, use this very friendly user DApp,
or build your own using our tools that will facilitate something for your customers,
for your business, will bring some value to your user experience. I think that's that's really
the next wave. Is is yeah, the internet came around, the rails were built in the early 90s,
and then we had a boom, right? The bubble had to burst, but then then you did have
new products that emerged that leveraged the fundamental basic tools,
and then maybe some new facets, something else, something new. So you know we see it in this space
too. It's all it's all evolving over time. I'm just glad that I see the chain more easy to use.
Equally safe. I know we've had some exploits, like the second FIE exploit.
I know Razo was saying he was a bit worried about that, and and I know a lot of community members
were worried about that because of are my funds safe, right? Is the time that I devoted to
this space that I love so much going to to hurt me in the end? And I know I didn't wait for shit.
I was like shit. I know enough to get my shit into a fucking hard wallet ledger situation. I'm good.
Like I I used to use Eoroi. And I never touched the app once it became SecondFi,
so I was never affected. But in part, it was because I had questions. I wish we had had
ministry episodes talking about that shit, because I was like, "Yo, why the fuck would I open an app
that all of a sudden is called something else? And what new types of you know sort
of things will I have to accept to use this new wallet in this update? And am I really down?" Nah,
fuck that. I was like, I'm already happy with Vesper and a few of the other options
that are available. So no, thank you. But but then I realized, you know, early on in the space,
Erooi was a wallet that I used to transact. It was where I bought my first NFTs.
I definitely have my wallet, my original wallet, connected to Erooi, but it wasn't connected to
SecondFi at all. So anyway, I I think Razo has spent enough time in the space where like like.
You didn't know how to react. You didn't know how to make sure that your your your funds were safe
and secure. And the news that was coming through was so contradictory and confusing. So it was like,
holy shit, how do I keep myself safe? You know, I think mitigating that is part of what I hope we
we can do is is keep people safe to some capacity. But giving them educational tools, I guess, is
where where I think there's room to build, bring people in in a safe way.
That's something that Cardano can still tout is its security. And and our community, man,
our community is second to none. I jump into other spaces. I listen to other people talking about
you know this or that. But at the end of the day, I don't I don't I don't know.
I don't see the same. Same deep humanity and connection, maybe because we've all been in the space
together for a long time. But it feels more D Gen, which is cool, right? D Gen's cool.
Like we have our D Gen moments. I'm I'm down for some DJ shit, uh, but D Gen D Gen shit. Um,
but I think, man, we've always been about the bigger ideas and connection and values here, I guess.
And you really do ride with your own. So I'm I'm happy that we're here having this conversation
again at an episode of the Ministry still alive, baby. 206 episodes still kicking,
and we'll we'll continue kicking. I was telling Razo that I was feeling a little ill a few days ago.
I took like a week. The last one, Mitch is here. See? Yeah, yeah. What up, Mitch? Mitch Boyle.
He never took the mic. He came up, but he didn't say shit. Mitch, where you at? What do you mean?
I talked about fucking Jack Ryan, bro. Fucking Cardano, safe Saudi Arabia, dude.
I'm not bullshitting about that. That's real shit. That's real shit, man. And like,
if you're not like, they're not gonna say that. But it's like, if you don't know that,
then you don't understand what's going on. And I've been, I'm out here having a fire.
I'm just burning shit. Yeah. So I've just been listening, but. I love you, man.
Like this is love you, bro. Fuck yeah. But no, man. Like if that's true, like if Saudi Arabia
is considered one of the safest countries in the world, like for like petty crime
or whatever that is, right? Then that's literally the first one, right?
So I I can't tell you how many countries there are. There's people smarter than me,
but like this is something. Okay, another thing. So that happens in Saudi Arabia, right?
If I what's the what's the company like? There's a company out in Austin,
Texas that like kind of makes rain or you know what I mean, like enhances storms or whatever. Yeah.
Yeah. So what? But they were practicing this stuff for ten, fifteen years
away from you know America. It can't be you can't like do that stuff here in America, right?
So like all of these other countries that we're seeing all of these test runs running on,
and some of these are successful, like the one in Saudi. You know what I mean? Ah. There is.
It's yes, it's early, but we're seeing results already from it.
But we're just not necessarily seeing it because it's not in front of our face. Sure, yeah.
But the results are there, whether or not you want to like accept or I don't know what
the right word is. But like, yeah, be patient, keep buying, because it's it it is working.
It's just not gonna be tomorrow like we always hope, you know. It starts off small,
and then dominoes start to fall as we sort of move. I think that's why I want all of us to really be
the movers and shakers, right? Like that's the point. It's kind of crazy too
that we have so much more to offer now. And yeah, when we have almost we had nothing,
just like staking is when we were at like three bucks or something. Three dollars going.
And now here we are at the bottom, you know. Bro, there's nothing we can't do on this chain
that you can that you can do somewhere else. Right, like, can we just quickly acknowledge that part?
Like, holy shit, there's nothing that you can do on the other chains that you can't do on Cardano.
And somebody's like, oh, but not as fast. I'm like, I'm not interested in speed. Like,
and we'll get there with layouts and shit. But like, it's fast enough, bro. You move too fast,
you're breaking eggs and shit, and we're we're having to have massive like shutdowns or pull back.
The technology loses credibility the more you you have to shut it off.
The more you have some issues that don't work, so Cardano is looking pretty at eight years. I mean,
technically working, but at the app level, that's not the case, and that's really what, at
the end of the day, the users go for, right? So the use cases. Yeah. Right.
So we could technically build all this stuff, but we just don't have all this stuff being
like built at the time, right? So yeah, I get what you're saying, but yeah,
we have to build this stuff. We have we have to become the builders
that we we're all slowly becoming as our ideas. You know, you you eventually come to a point,
I guess. Maybe I feel I certainly have where you you speak enough, like you talk enough,
and now it's time to act. Now it's time to do stuff. Like you know, we we've done stuff
with the onboarding locally and stuff, just like all the other communities out there in the world
trying to bring people in. But I'm like, man, we didn't we didn't use the tech to the same degree
that I wish we would have. And and now we're gonna kind of prioritize that.
And I think if everybody did that, then to Razo's point, we get that like network effect,
that kind of that wall of support, where it's like, no, you will not get our data at fucking
four cents, motherfuckers. You know, like that is crazy. But if it goes down there, shit,
just know that I'm gonna take a mortgage on my house. I'm gonna fucking get all the data I can get,
and that shit is gonna be staked because I believe in the space long term,
not for a particular dollar amount. Like I'm, like Jenny said, it could be that it never goes back
to three bucks, but rather I believe in the tech, and I haven't overleveraged myself yet
to the point. Yeah, exactly. Don't do the house thing, please, Rod. Too many people did that here.
No, I don't. And that's why they make stupid decisions. No, I. They're like, yeah. I played it safe,
and and I say that jokingly, and and going back to the tenets of the ministry,
you know that it's like I understand some people will do it. Even I may do it, but if if I did it,
it would have to be with the full understanding of this. Could this is a terrible idea?
Like you should not do this, maybe. But anyway, yeah, I I I don't recommend
that anybody do something crazy like that. We do know some people who have put themselves that way
in that situation as well here locally in San Diego. And look, it's just everybody goes in
to the degree that they think they can sustain. And and I'm gonna always play it safe to the degree
that that you know I I might put myself into debt like a college degree amount, you know,
like some meaningful amount. If it's something that I believe in, especially
if it's something that I want to build a business around, but but no, definitely just don't look for
that moonshot, moonbag success in one night story that might leave you wrecked.
We've been here bleeding out for five years, so so that's what crypto. What's crypto about?
It's about bleeding out for five years, enduring the bear market, and then hoping to build from
the ruins. That cycle every time. So yeah, no, I I think I'm with you. We we got to play it smart,
and we gotta we got to play it safe. Yeah, we gotta stay alive, man. We gotta stay alive.
Stay alive. Stay alive. I'm also staying alive, baby. Rod, I know, like I heard you talking about
how excited you are about like four cent possibly, and like we're doing all you know,
talk about lows. But I, I legit, um, if and I told myself this like last week. Oh shit,
where we going? If we're going, if Bitcoin hits like twenty five, twenty seven k in October.
I'm getting one. Let's go! Yeah, I've been thinking about it too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey,
you know what? Twenty five, twenty seven in October. Twenty five k Bitcoin. I'm buying.
I don't know that I'll buy a whole Bitcoin because I don't got bags like that. But oh yeah,
this is gonna take some moves. You know what I mean? But that's why you know it's worth it
if it's that. Thirty seven is the low. Thirty seven, I think is thirty six low as it goes. Ooh, Dan.
He said he said your twenty five k dream ain't happening. He said thirty seven. I was thinking
twenty five, twenty seven. Yeah, yeah. He said thirty seven though. That's yeah, that's too low.
I think you. He said thirty seven, but what about Black Swan? You know,
then there's really no telling. There's no telling. Hey, you know what?
I'm there for twenty five k Bitcoin for sure. Which one? It's a fifty fifty chance. Like,
which one is next to happen? A Black Swan event, or like, whatever the other.
I'll tell you that if that Clarity Act doesn't fucking go through, shit's gonna go. Shit's gonna go,
and probably down through September. Also, with the state of the of the war,
because I've been looking at all these bottoms, like I said, right? These bottoms
tend to drag forever. Man, the market could punish us for a while. Like silver
and gold went sideways basically for ten years. I hope that's not us. God damn! If we don't forgot,
I have my mic on. I'm like rumbling all these leaves. Yeah, if we if we don't hold the the fifty,
then man, yeah, I'm gonna start thinking we're going down to thirty seven, thirty six thousand.
We're probably some sort of conflict around the world. Things are not getting better.
I think we're actually losing this war. There's a lot of stuff that the mainstream media
doesn't really focus on. I think it could drag on for longer than we think.
I think we got our asses kicked, and I don't know. The world's very uncertain right now,
but I I don't know, man. I'm here for the long run. No matter what happens, I'm not selling.
If it all disappears tomorrow, fuck it. I'm here for the I'm here for the ride.
I'm here for the war. We're the fucking we're the we're the musicians on the Titanic, bro.
That are like this shit sinking. Pull out, pull out the fucking guitar. Pull out the violin.
We're fucking playing this shit down. We're going down with the ship. Let's go. Yeah, I mean, look,
if Razo and I have talked about it often, like if if if Cardano, based on what we know about it
and based on the community that we know is actually here for it long term, if if we can't do it,
man, I don't know if anybody else can. There's way too much like focus on DeGen bullshit and other
and other chains that I'm like, I get it. It's socially engaging. It gets it gets eyes.
It gets views because everybody wants a moonshot. Everybody wants that raffle ticket opportunity
to make it to that. Oh man, I made it right, but. Again, when you're just like, hmm,
I want to take my time looking for the best tech. Hmm, I want to build something meaningful
that lasts. What, what, dude? I don't see a better option than Cardano.
And I get that it's not ideal to build on for some people. I mean, shit. If I could do it though,
I'm like, you guys are capping about how hard things are. Like if if I can go
and make a fucking web page where you can mint things and token gate content
and mint you know mint NFTs and fucking create curriculum. If I could do that with AI
and if If I could do that as a non-dev, come on, the devs, you guys are fucking, you got,
you tripping, bro. Like you guys, you what? What can't you build? You can build it all, right?
Maybe you're just not seeing the vision. Maybe that's where we have new opportunities
for teams to emerge that are like your potential with my vision. Let's go. Um, and and on that note,
right? Like shout out Box Lord, who I see has joined us in the space, and I just want to give you
a shout out because we got some cool artwork coming out very soon. Very much in that vein of
of what we're talking about here. Like you got to become the community that builds the tools,
builds the solutions. Makes the things that will bring interest to Cardano,
and so I can say with absolute transparency that he and I are working on a small,
little graphic text, graphic novel for DRMZ that we're going to be giving away
at our Comic Con event coming up June, July 25th. So we're going to post up with our SDNFT friends
and their V friends and do some collectible stuff for a show called Devotion.
And you know we're gonna end up giving away this this NFT. We're gonna make it an NFT,
and we're gonna give it away. And obviously, if you're not able to make it out locally,
then I'm gonna make sure to to grab a few to give away to to the homies who want it.
And I don't know, maybe we'll put some up for sale. Maybe we'll kind of decide what we end up
doing with it from that point on. But I've always wanted to work on something like that that's
educational and graphic and fun and cool. And so shout out to Box Lord for being the artist to bring
the vision to life. And you know we're we're still working at it. I I would be happy to share
the work in progress, but I think we want to. You got a really good artist, bro.
That's that's dope as fuck, man. Hell yeah, dude. Boxer's he fucking legit. Uh,
everything he's done, I've I've sort of followed his his artistic career.
I've seen that it's badass. It's dope. It's so good, and and just visualizing concepts that
we've thought about for a long time. And so that there will be at least two things that come out
of this. Like uh, one of them is a Morpheus. NFT. So for all the tools,
all the AI tools that I've built, I'm going to token gate them behind the Morpheus NFT.
So Box Lord's designing the Morpheus design that will be minted, and and then we're going to have
a cool artifact, a dream catcher object that we're going to mint as well.
That's going to be kind of cool because we're going to try to give it some utility on Cardano,
but then also on Midnight. Thanks to Dust Generation and what we're going to be doing with that
on the midnight side. So, I think I think it's exciting times, man. We got we got a moment here
to build, a moment here to conceptualize where blockchain really fits in the larger scheme of
of the conversation of Web3, and and I'm excited for what I'm going to do locally,
for what Patrick's doing locally, for what any of you can go and do locally, to bring blockchain
and AI to your college campuses, your educational universities, institutions.
As well as your larger community businesses, just people that you go out
and you chat with that might want to know, because it's definitely a good vibe right now
for getting out there. So that devotion event for Comic Con we're doing,
and we're doing another one in September for Tokenized Matrix. It's like a small little conglomerate
of brands in SoCal, all of them Web3 brands. So we'll be there. If you look at my timeline,
you could see the last one that we were at. It's pretty good turnout, and so yeah,
we're just hoping to to grow it over time. Have at least one big event every quarter.
And just still post up at bars and stuff like we used to. Chilly and I haven't done it in a minute,
but we're gonna bring it back. And that Comic Con pop up is an example of that. And yeah, anyway.
So shout out to anybody who can make it out in person. If you're here local,
please join us on the 25th. Spot catch me at Rare Evo. I don't know who I'm gonna see at Rare Evo,
but catch me at Rare Evo from the 28th through the 31st. I'll be at the Cardano booth.
The Cardano Foundation is putting up a booth, so I volunteered to help just be at the table,
so you can go and chat with me there for a little bit. And yeah, man, I'm looking forward to
to meeting any of you that can make it out. I don't know, Mitch, if you can fly out, Space Lady,
if you're coming out, Jenny, Patrick, anybody, and if not, just I'll I'll represent.
And I don't know, no, Razel can't come out because he's having a baby around that time. So you know,
anyway, whoever's there, man, we're gonna fucking have some fun, and. You know,
I'm feeling a lot better from what I was feeling this whole week. I was telling Razo man,
so I'm on a good little vibe here. Like, let's go. Life is short. Time to fucking go
and put some some good energy out there. And and my goal, a million delegation by fucking 2027.
Like just January 2027. Just you know, a million delegation by the end of the year.
I'm a I'm fucking manifest this shit. All calling all whales. Damn it! I have a whale call.
You know, no, and and it's all with the idea of like, I think I hope the community sees like what
we're doing, like what we're actually still putting our blood, sweat, and tears behind,
still out here trying to grab traction, boots on the ground, educating where we can, you know,
where where many have left the space for any. Reason or another, like we're trying to double down
and say, Nah, we're not going anywhere. We're gonna build out from the bear.
We're gonna be one of the teams that wins. And anyway, we're just gonna have some fun
because life is short, and you should enjoy it with your friends and family.
And shout out to all the ones we've lost, and shout out to all the ones that remain. And yeah, man,
let's get it. I have a small request. You know, I me personally, I never feel like I ever leave
the crypto space. Like I'm always check. Like I prom, even if I'm not on Twitter
or I'm not on whatever, I promise you, I'm checking my uh coin market cap at least 15 times a day,
just tracking. Right. So, uh, my my small like request is like nobody's like when people show back
up, man. Be like, where you like? Oh, you ain't been around, or you know what I mean, like. For me,
I never feel like I leave, so I will always try to. For me, I will always try to like, oh,
how have you been? Instead of like, you, where have you been? How have you been? You know, yeah.
I I just think like putting the you haven't been around or yeah, we haven't seen you in forever.
It's almost like a negative context in that sense. Like I know it's not that like you know.
Obviously, we want to see you more. I just miss you, Mitch. Damn. Yeah, of course, of course.
But it's like I never, I miss you. I never left. You never left my heart. I understand,
but but you didn't come and talk to me. So my my small request, and you know,
like we could all just practice together. It's like if we haven't seen someone,
don't be like you haven't been around. Be like, man, how have you been? You know, like let's go,
let's go with that route because I feel like that route. Yeah, or whatever, man.
I just feel like that is, you know, if you always word something, just maybe a little bit different,
you could get maybe a better outcome. One hundred percent, absolutely. Intention matters,
and any any type of, you know, comment or criticism that comes from me, it comes in love,
and and you never left my heart, Mitch. That's what matters, and I hope I never left yours. Fuck no.
Hell yeah. Yo, space lady. Hey, hey, everybody. Uh, I don't want to take too long here,
but I want to let you know about something that I've started up called the Agnes Connection.
I've made a Twitter account, full X account for it. Gee, there go my my roots showing.
But the Agnes connection is something that I have created. I think there's a need for this,
but it's a group of people. Who are out there willing to test different products
and services in blockchain to make sure that they are ready for real people to use? So
if if we are looking to get money from real humans to use our products and services,
we really need to make sure that our UI/UX is something that they can realistically use.
And what better than a community initiative to get some people together to volunteer to make
this happen? Right. So I'll throw this in the comments. My account, the Agnes connection.
It's at Agnes connection. Hell yeah! So I'm trying to get that off the ground.
I just gave you a follow. That's that's absolutely cool. Help builders test
their the launching products. Where is it? Where's the page? Let Let me see if I can link it
as well. I'm going to throw it in the comments. So nice to hear your voice, girl. Yeah,
it's good to hear us too. How have you been? Hey, you're practicing. This is dope. Hope you've been.
Yeah, things are good. Yeah, I've I've not gone anywhere, and I will indeed be at Rare Evo.
Let's go! Excited. All right, Agnes connection is in the comments as well now. Nice. Okay, cool.
I was looking for right here. So that sounds actually really really cool idea.
It's also people together like that. I think it makes sense. Just bring the the whole
the whole group. It's like, hey, I got the people for you, right? Because when I entered the space,
I thought that I wasn't going to be worth anything in the Cardano community because I wasn't
a developer and I didn't know how to code. But little by little, I realized
that us non-technical people, we have a place here. We can act as a bridge.
And when Charles said something on stage at NFT XLV in 2023 about Agnes needs to know
how to use these products and services, or we're gonna sink. Yeah, I never forgot that. Beautiful,
the Agnes connection. Yeah, this is what I've been telling Rod too about the UX UI part of it.
I'm like, I feel like Cardano needs to hire me. I don't know. All these wallets look the same.
It's so boring to me. We're still trying to be MetaMask. When reality, I want to open up my wallet
and I want to feel like I entered a new space, a new space called Web three with new possibilities
where I can own things. And look at this, you can live vote. Look at this live feed. You can have.
Let's bring MySpace back or something. I want to be able to because it all starts with identity,
right? Any cool apps or things that we can build are going to require some sort of identity.
So let's use Midnight for that. I have all these crazy ideas like for open source insurance.
It's all of us just pulling our money together. It's like, yeah, I just feel like we need new, new,
new reasons to bring people in here, or like reasons for people to jump in here.
And I'm excited with all the stuff that I'm doing with my music, because it's not just music.
I'm using AI and this technology. I want to tokenize my music, but it's all around the same message
that we're all speaking about here. That I think, especially people here in Cardano,
because when I went to Rare Ebo, I was having all these fun conversations
with all the Cardano people about these ideas that I don't really hear from some
of the other communities in crypto. I don't know. Maybe I'm just In a bubble,
but in Cardano is the only space that we can talk about like greater ideas.
Because I feel like we realize that we're building like some sort of digital nation.
And the coolest thing about crypto, to me, man, is like community building.
And I think right now is the time to come together. And it's been done before, like I said. Remember
that that movie with GameStop? Like I said, oh right, yeah. What was the homie? Roaring Kitty. Yeah,
Roaring Kitty. Or think about the example from Yeah, Roaring Kitty. Roaring Kitty, Roaring Kitty.
Then think about the example with um, three hundred. The movie Three Hundred.
How those three hundred people held soldiers held back. Persian army, the greatest army empire
of the time, right? Because they were trapped between the this little landmass, right?
You use your environment to your advantage, right? And right now we find ourselves in a similar way
in a digital frontier like that, like like if this goes, because we're the last humans to know
the world before the internet, so. Because if our kids just adapt adopt this technology blindly,
there's it's gonna be hard to to change something that you're already swimming inside of,
kind of thing. But the only meaningful distinction right now in the technologies that
you can talk about when it comes to blockchain is the UTXO versus account model conversation.
And really, it's not even a conversation where you have to dichotomize the two anymore
because Midnight, for example, has a dual ledger build, so it uses both. So it's like, oh, cool.
We could use both. Yep, we're good, right? But like, there was this big debate when it came to
early building in Cardano, where it's like, are you going to build the solidity using
the account model, or are you going to build UTXO using Plutus or whatever other languages Aiken
or whatever other languages came around so you can build stuff. So, you know,
I think still that's the most meaningful debate, especially when you think about right now
Ethereum deciding or Vitalik deciding that the roadmap for Ethereum will now include UTXO,
like native UTXO. So maybe you saw some of those posts that we all started posting, like hey,
you know, here's let's retweet Charles, fucking talking about how Ethereum is copying Cardano,
and some of that you know has to be like inflammatory engagement, right?
You're looking for the ETH community to engage. Cause then sometimes you have those types
of relationships IRL. Like if that's not what it is, and obviously you're gonna be adversarial.
But if you know that the people IRL who you're gonna mingle with, they're gonna see your posts
and maybe have like a good laugh about it. Cause we did start in a very maxi space
that eventually came to like involve more chains and all chains and Cardano now too.
So I I think that that's part of the the social engagement. Of it, but it's also true
that Ethereum has been transforming itself, so it's becoming a bit more Cardano-like. Why is that?
There must be a fundamental value behind the technology. And so, going back to Space Lady's point,
just to kind of wrap it up here, you have the idea now that you know you could have
great tools built, but then how do you know they're ready for mass consumption?
So I think that's where her Agnes Society, our Agnes Society, because I definitely want to be a part
of that. Would lead to people feeling trust in the tools that you're putting in front of them.
You're saying you want to build tools. She's saying, let us vet those tools
and make sure that they're ready for consumption. Yeah, yeah. I don't know.
I I think this is exciting. I think the world is changing. It's gonna be a little chaotic.
A couple ups and downs. A lot of unknowns. A lot of changing things in the world. Wars,
but also economic wars with bricks with technology just changing. It's gonna get interesting.
We're we're we find ourselves in an interesting time, dude. And I really think that we are
the adults in the room now. Like I've been trying to speak to regular people about crypto. You know,
it's a little bit of a learning curve. And I feel like that's one of my purposes here in the space
is that I speak kind of weirdly and clip, but like I can say like in one sentence what you know
what would take a whole chapter or something, but I say it in an interesting way.
But I want to speak more to regular people and why this moment sort of matters.
And I don't think there's any turning back, right? What is that theory of the the heat death
of the universe? They just get more complex, right? But yeah, entropy. Yeah.
And I don't think there's any turning back. And if we do turn back, it's because we have some sort
of asteroid hit the Earth and we lost powers. So now we got we got new we got
new problems at that point. But if we're moving forward technologically,
and the future is only going to get more digital, and we already know that AI agents
are mining crypto. What does that mean? What does that mean? What does it mean that?
Where does that end up? Right. Well. Well. Really. You know. So. So that's a great. I love that.
I love this topic. AI and the economy, because I think that there is something there that that was
so blatantly obvious when you think about it, like just now upon reflection,
but early early at the time it just didn't make sense because it was hard to understand
where AI would go. So if you were an early LLM user, right, you remember prompting,
and you remember like advanced prompting strategies, and getting the AI to do more
and more complex stuff before you could even upload a PDF or something, right?
That was like a big milestone. It was like holy shit, you can upload PDFs now, amazing! Oh my god,
it accepts images now, right? So it only got better and better, and then it sort of took
this agentic turn where you're having in the background multi calls and doing
more work for you that is it's been programmed to work. Maybe sub orchestrate work for you
so it passes it from one agent to another to another to another, or or maybe even it's just using
the same engine but taking on different roles for each for each input and output,
and and you just think about that whole ecosystem of how that works
and how that could empower somebody now who understands oh they made it
so I can connect a wallet to it oh they made it so that I can just ask it to buy me some crypto
or exchange some value for another right in this no code way just chat based way because that's
where the LLMs eventually evolved to. In this agentic turn, but you know,
some people are still stuck thinking about AI as oh, that thing in my Google search bar,
or that thing in my Gemini, and it's like, yes, but now it it's connected to other things.
There are APIs that connect it to very complex processes and very complex tooling.
It can do a lot of stuff, like. And then you orchestrating the work that must be done
and evaluating the quality of that work is still the main is now the main objective,
but but you can really do some interesting stuff with this technology.
I think I think that needs to be really put out there more to understand how the tool has evolved,
what is now possible with AI, agentic AI, and blockchains. How I could tell Morpheus
within the next few evolutions that I give it as I connect it to the network, you know,
send Patrick a hundred ADA, and boom, he'll just do it because he'll have a wallet. And you know,
there are tools that already allow for that stuff. Like Masumi is building a lot of tools,
and there's a lot of different platforms that are emerging. But I think that's where we go back
to that point where we were talking about with Jenny about. Who will be the companies
that survive in this next wave? I think it'll be the innovative ones that marry AI
and blockchain in some way. Like those are the ones that will make it. Because and you know what,
IoT as well, right? The sensors, everything you can think about, powering new technology that does
new things, and and we'll have new booms and busts of those technologies.
And we'll always return to the base conversation with Bitcoin, and it will maintain
its cyclical movement, which means that on a yearly basis, people who believed in it can fund
their dreams in different capacities. So if you follow the cycles and you know how to play them,
it seems like you can make money if you play it safe and if you play it smart,
and if you don't over leverage and if you sort of take care of this in a very meaningful way, right?
So like, anyway, all that to say, man, I I think there's a lot that we need to teach about AI
and blockchain and how they work together. I think there's a lot of value in in pointing to
those two things as the way that work is transforming and where the the next meaningful work
will come. And and just the opportunities that are emerging because you could potentially make money
with this new technology if you know how to use it and that's a big if.
And now be careful with the traps that are out there. And now have some understanding
of exchanging value for value and signing transactions and signing things safely
and verifying transactions. There's just this whole literacy that really is required
before people will be super comfortable with this tech and people will just passively engage with
it. And I'll just close by saying that we're that all that said. We are leap years from
where we were just a few years ago, and it's actually fun to engage with the technology. At
the World Cup event that we hosted, people like legit who don't like crypto were like,
"That was really fun. That was really easy, and that was amazing." Because holy shit,
having done so many events. I was like, "Yeah, no, this is hard," and I want to integrate Morpheus
into that AI onboarding flow locally. So there is an onboarding flow that
we'll be activating pretty soon. But it's again bridging AI and blockchain,
seeing where these technologies can lead to more meaningful work in this present
and in the near future. And I will toss it to Jenny. Yeah, thank you, Rod. That's awesome.
I wish I could have made it to that event. I definitely need to go to California and come visit.
I thanks. I can't get enough of that picture, Kristen, with Agnes' picture. So funny!
Agnes is in the room, so give give Agnes a follow if you will, and become part of the.
Part of the future there, yeah, man. Thanks for hosting today. I just want to say thanks. You know,
I I've been all over the place. When I get a chance, I stop by. You know,
I I always love coming hang out and appreciate you. Wednesday is my last day hosting
Coronado Coffee, so if you have time to stop by, come hang out. I won't have any guests,
so we'll just be a hangout party. So. Hell yeah! I'm on summer break, so
I'll definitely roll through. And Cardano over coffee, I I usually wake up to it around. I think,
but there's a time difference, right? Because I think I've. Is it eight eight p.m. When it starts,
or is it six? Definitely a difference for you. It's like six for you. Like we do it at nine,
so at nine Eastern. So I think that's around. Yeah. Yeah. So I usually log in like seven, seven
or eight time until yeah. I see you pop like four p.m. I know. Yeah, the last hour. Yeah, yeah. So,
but yeah, I'll be here. Wednesday is your last day then, official. That's my last say, yeah.
That's it. Awesome. That's it for Jenny. Colonel or coffee? I won't even ask how many episodes
you've hosted. Holy moly! We don't keep track of that, but it's gonna be in August. It's gonna be
five years of Colonel or coffee. Yeah. And I started like you know just like a regular
like having conversations there with with my friend Hero and. And whatnot,
and eventually I just kind of ended up staying and helping more, and then you know it is what it is.
And now I'm ready to step down. So it's been great. Yeah, well, and and one step towards new things,
right? Like time to evolve into the next form. Absolutely, yeah. You gotta,
you kind of gotta keep moving. You know, it's not cranberry coffee something I've been part of,
but it's not my thing, right? So it's just I've I've done. I don't. I feel I'm proud of the work
I've done, and and serve its purpose, and is still around. And I'll be. I'll hang out.
I'll come say hi. I'll still. I'll just be a listener, just like you guys, and hang out, friends.
You know. Yeah, hell yeah, yeah. No, I I completely understand the idea of like stepping away
and now working more on the things you're passionate about in in your and I know that you weren't
passionate about it, but you know those ones that you've set aside to be a part
of just the community stuff, and and now it's time to yeah build it out. For yourself,
that's kind of how I feel. And I work a lot on like keeping structure there.
Like I do a lot of work in the structure of Corona Organi, but like I said,
it's like I'm super limited because you want to keep it as like as a the centralized kind
of feeling, right? Like where everybody just does their thing, and we have some sort of standards,
but Yeah, and just it's very limiting, right? It's very limiting on how I speak,
how I express myself, the things that I want to do. The you know, there's a lot of things
I want to do that I don't do, but just for the sake of you know, cordon or coffee,
and then just so I'm limited, right? It's just it's been a long time of that,
and that's that's it's it's been a good ride. Yeah, no, absolutely, an amazing ride. I mean,
shout out to you and just the amount of time that you have devoted to the space in that
in that capacity. Right, I know you've also traveled, and I've we've we've seen each other in a lot
of places on this earth, and I love that so much because I mean, some of my my closest friends
haven't had the opportunity to travel that I've received through my involvement in this community
in this space, which I think is just amazing that. You know, I've been able to travel to
to Argentina, where where we got to hang, and and you know Japan, just all of the experiences that
I've had with this community. I just have nothing but love for this community,
and and and like Mitch was saying, if you've been you know more absent the space,
working off off chain, you know off Twitter, hey. We love it when you're here.
I also have been away to some extent. I will probably continue to be more, more, more chill,
more lax about it, not so adamant. But I think when there is a good topic to discuss,
I'll pop up some ministry spaces, and then throughout the week, Razo and I will be working.
I mentioned earlier on a series called "Blocks Against the Machine," where we're going to be on
camera on YouTube, streaming. Actually, I guess streaming here live on Twitter now
because you can stream here on Twitter. And and linking it to YouTube and stuff, but doing some TA,
doing some conversational stuff, like doing a not not exactly what what we do here at Ministry,
more a more focused, organized sort of show where we where we can address a few topics,
a few big concepts. Do some educational stuff, and and just then spread that to the socials.
I wanna I wanna increase our our game in the socials this year and do a bit more on IG
and and TikTok and fucking Threads and everywhere. I need I need a social media campaign,
so I'm working on something. And then we've got some products that we're trying to create,
some materials, some merch, some fucking dope shirts, some new shirts with a new logo.
Shout out Ninja Nasty for designing the new logo, and then of course some cool NFTs thanks
to Boxlord and a few other artists that will be minting and some giving away
and some you know just making accessible to the community for minting and yeah dude it's it's
good times we we are in the lows but we got the fucking music on we're watching
the World Cup we're throwing little mini parties we're chilling we're in the spaces
can I say something Rod we keep it moving yeah Rod I'm sure you got plenty of Messages
for like collabs on people trying to promote your business, so you can always check.
If it's not if you if you didn't get it, check your like hidden or spam messages.
You might have like a someone wanting to boost your you know business. Yeah, well, you know,
I never know. Yeah, don't trust nobody. All that shit, like, like they're like, oh,
we're gonna give you this, and I'm like, ah, you're a scam. Like, I wish you were real.
It sounds so good, right? You're just like, oh, someone's trying to help me.
Trying someone trying to give me a hand here. Nope, they're not. They're just trying to scam you
in some way, shape, or form. So. Keep it safe, baby. Keep it safe. Don't be exposed.
I had something real I wanted to say though. Something real, man. And I just wanted to say thank you
to Jenny Brito, Jenny Sita, Jenny whatever, man. Cause like legit, like she she was the first person
to ever talk to me on like a Twitter space about Cardano or whatever. You know,
I was rocking like a human PFP. You know, me myself and I, probably and my dog. But like man,
I I just appreciated that because that's what kept me. On here, right? I mean, I guess on here.
Like, I've always, I was on Cardano before that, but still, like, I've always was looking for
someone to talk Cardano with. And Jenny was the first person to give me that. So, thank you.
Hell yeah! Much love, Mitch. Thanks for that. Absolutely, and you know, just mornings are are more.
I I I can't think of another thing that I would want to tune into in the mornings than just
like listening to my friends talk in spaces, and very often be talking with projects
that kind of just give me some. Oh shit, I wanted to know more about that project.
I'm I'm glad they're doing this interview. And even better than that is knowing
that you're invited to come up and ask your questions and actually be a part of the conversation,
because it's a very friendly space. Like there's there's not a whole lot of those.
People often give us praise for for our demeanor. People have come in and been like, oh my god,
I really love that you guys are actually being respectful and support each other.
And it's not just a degenerate space. And it's really because of the stoner clubs
and the Cardano over coffees that that helped us sort of identify this other tone as well.
Like you can do things different than you just do things your way. How it feels natural.
How it feels organic. How it works, and so I think that's why that's why I haven't let the ministry
die, even though it interest has dwindled. And but then every every so often we pop up a space,
or I'll pop up a space, and Rosal will join me or whatever, and then we actually look the homies
show up, and we end up having great conversations, and I'm reminded about the golden days and.
Like you know, I we can bring it back. Then that means we can bring it back. Like
if we really make it engaging and fun, and there's a reason to to come on here. And yeah,
the market has to comply a little bit, right, for the bag to be satisfied,
so we can have our base needs met, like we talked about in that excerpt. But then,
then we get to enjoy the artwork and the music and the philosophy that we enjoyed during
those moments where like things are green and and and things are booming
and things are feeling good. You're like, yeah, I got money to fucking blow on art.
I'm gonna fucking go buy a an art piece for three k. I don't give a fuck. You know, like.
And you know what? What's the key, dude? Like, we've had moments in Corona or coffee.
We had hundreds of people. We had moments in Corona or coffee. It's just like feels like only us.
And. As long as you continue to be that place that people can show up to, you know,
it'll it'll have us. You'll come back. It's just it's just kind of how it works. Like I've learned
that, and I and I tell that to the people that have joined Carter over Coffee later,
the people that have started Spaces later. You know, even Joe when he was doing the Spaces
at the beginning, it was only him. For for for a while, it was only him, and then a couple people,
and then it grew into this huge thing. Then huge. Then then it it just just just started having
other spaces, and then it didn't come back to being how it was. But he stopped, right?
So then it just becomes like, oh, there's just no never a stoner club, right? So right, no, right,
it can't come back because it's not there. So we we're ordering our coffee.
There were moments that were like, oh, maybe we should just tone it down and do it like.
Once a week, it's like no, man. Just gotta keep going. Gotta keep going. Gotta keep going.
People show up again, and and it does, man. It does happen. You just gotta be consistent.
If you become this consistent place, then you kind of like get over that that hump,
like that that little, you know, and then it just never goes down so badly. And then,
but you always have those moments that you kind of like go down a little,
and then it just like goes back up, right? And then you establish kind of like a new standard,
and when you establish new standard, and then so on. You know, you learn from the things. Like, hey,
maybe we should do this. We should do that. Maybe I don't think the people like it too much
when you do this kind of stuff. Is it is it necessary? If it's necessary because it's part
of the ethos, it's part of the vibe, then you keep it. If it's not, then maybe we see
if maybe this is not vibing with people, and it's okay. I don't need to do this, right?
And then you kind of go with that, you know. And but consistency, man. So
if if you can just keep it. If if it's not too hard, even if it just shows up,
and maybe you don't keep it long, you know, that long, or maybe you also like start taking notes
and like maybe the first hour is dead, but then most of the people, if you keep it running for
after an hour, then you start getting people. Maybe you want to stretch it to a little later,
you know. Maybe your people shows up later; they're late nighters, you know. So. Yeah, no,
I totally true, and actually that's that's true of today's space. We pretty much for the first hour
was just me and Razo, kind of going back and forth of some of the stuff that we wanted to talk
about, and then and then Patrick came on and a few others came on, and and it was great.
Just it kind of built itself into just the space experience is very unique.
I think you're absolutely right, and I'm anyway. I wish that there was more stoners clubs as well.
I think if Joe just popped them up, even just as he's doing whatever he's doing in his day to day,
people would jump in because he had that kind of gravitas,
and and you know people just liked talking with him and engaging with him and.
The the ideal thing would be if you could monetize the space, right? Like I would love nothing more
than for people to pay me to fucking talk about shit in the space and projects and all that.
But I think I think if you can find a way to just do it because you want to
and you're passionate about it, then then who cares? Like that stuff may come,
or you'll build out some other sort of economic venture in the space through that connection,
or somebody can I don't know point you towards opportunities, or I don't know.
I I just still believe in I still believe in that whole idea that you can work your way up.
Financially and economically, and just that you can change your your station, and and this tool,
is not quite ready for people to use it like that to make money. Like, okay, you know what?
I'm gonna download the Uber app and I'm gonna fucking go make some money. Like, not quite yet.
It's not quite there, right? That's why we're building out all these tools and solutions and plugins
and connections and upgrades and blah blah blah to to increase onboarding
and and how people can use it. And so, I really think that it's gonna get easier to use.
It's gonna get better. And so people like Joe. Could easily serve as facilitators of the tech
and onboarding people in a very friendly and fun and engaging way because he already proved
he can do all those spaces when there's fucking thousands of people in there
and Charles Hoskinsons in there and you know so so I I think you're right consistency you can't.
You can't stop showing up and then expect that same type of like you know buzz
when you come back either. Like, trust me, having having come down to bare bones where it's like me
and another audience member at the ministry, I'm like, holy shit! Like, maybe this is dead, right?
Maybe this is gone. Like, it's maybe there's no interest anymore. But maybe you're right.
Maybe it's just being logistical and and thinking about you know the original ministry
used to start at 8 p.m. And it used to run late into the night. And part of the reason I adapted
that schedule was so I can go put my my little ones to sleep. And so now I'm like, you know,
I don't have a problem running a late space if I'm gonna be a night owl
and I'm gonna stay up anyway. So maybe I do push it later. Like maybe Jenny's right.
Like maybe more people are more night owls, or that community that would join
all those stoners club spaces might start to kind of pop their heads in if there is a space
around this later time that includes the homies. So anyway, just just some thoughts about
how I want to move in the space. Yeah, take notes. That's what my my suggestion is. Take notes.
Open your space. As long as you have a co host, you have somebody to talk to.
And then you you just take notes, and when your people start showing up, it's like oh,
people start showing up at nine o' five, uh, ten ten fifty, uh, eight fifty, uh, nine twenty,
and then just take notes, and then you you might get your answer. It was like oh,
maybe maybe I do need to push it to nine, you know, and give yourself a little more time
to do whatever you want to do too. And then for me, it's kind of like that. For me, it's like that.
I don't know. You notice I never kind of show up at the beginning. It's almost Yeah, almost never.
Not because I don't want to, but it's because like I almost feel like I always wind down
around the same time, and that's when I'm like, oh, let me just see, you know, oh, it's Sunday.
Let me just, I bet you there's like, you know, Rod's running a space, and and that's what
I mean about consistency, right? Yeah, yeah. If I do that and there's no space, I was like, oh shit.
Well, it could be Fourth of July week, then I'll come back the next time, and it's not there.
Then it just goes away, and I don't think about it. When it's Sunday, I'm not expecting you to have
a space anymore, you know. So. Yeah, it's a yeah, it's a it's a tricky thing.
But as long as you have a co-host, man, you have somebody to talk to. That's why.
That's why I'm glad. Yeah, I'm glad Razo is is here joining the space more officially.
He he wasn't part of that early wave that we're talking about here. Uh, but yeah,
we're gonna we're just gonna keep going. You know, we're gonna do it our way. And I I think he
and I decided to do the so we're gonna be on camera instead of just audio.
Because we do want people to jump in and use the the live stream feature,
so we can actually talk about stuff going on in the in the community, things that
we would like to discuss, and really just a recap space for for what we're doing with dreams
and and some of the sort of community stuff that we're putting together, like the Comic Con thing.
Maybe we're going to do some like live streams, and we're going to be doing
a little bit more media creation and just give it a very genuine effort at you know. I think we need
more content, and I think we are in a situation and in a in a place where we could generate
some pretty cool content. Like Comic Con, not everybody gets to experience,
but you know we can provide access to what it would what it's like and and what it would be like
to go and talk to the community on on on the ground. And I think there are places like that.
Oh yeah, I mean definitely. I I pinned it to the top. The the World Cup watch party video is pinned.
That was Razo with his camera here. The the DJ is it Osmo? What is it? DGI. DGI. Yeah,
this thing's amazing. So I love these cameras. We're gonna be doing more boots
on the ground interviews and stuff like that. Again, keeping it fun. You know,
I I find all that stuff fun, engaging with society, going out and like last year we did a pop up
where Chili was was in a Pokemon costume, and I didn't dress up. I was just rocking
the D R M Z shirt. But then as people were walking by with really cool costumes, we'd like pull them
and be like, Hey, yo, come and take a picture with Chili. And we had our D R M Z banner,
our big old step and repeat that we always like put put up in our photos. People were like, "Oh,
what's that? What's that brand? Oh, you know, it's our steak pool. Oh, what's that about? Oh,
it's crypto. You know about crypto? No, you know. Okay, let's talk. You know. So just kind of,
it was a fun way of bringing up the conversation, but we we weren't giving stuff away yet.
Like we didn't really have the means to do that with. You know, GIF QR codes or GIF wallets
or nothing like that. But now that we are moving in that space, it gets much more exciting
because I think we'll be able to go out there, give away some comics, give away some ADA,
give away some some tokens, so people can engage, and and maybe we'll start marketing ourselves
that way through that, and that can become content that we can put up
on different social media platforms, including YouTube. And just start building out
this little media empireβthe the Dreams Tech side and the Dreams Media Agency
sideβand we already have some event stuff going on, so we have an event arms side.
But we're like this octopus. Dreams is this octopus of multifaceted dreams,
and you know it's cool now to have. A revival of of energy. I'm feeling good again.
Post not feeling so good. I was I was feeling a little a little ill. Maybe about a week ago,
I came down with something, and and now I'm back up. I'm feeling energetic. I'm feeling good. So,
like you know, life is short. You don't know how much time you have. And so you should enjoy
your friends, enjoy your family, and build things that are meaningful.
Spend your time doing things that are meaningful. Spend your time reading some poetry
and making some music. Spend your time talking to friends and family. Spend your time
with your kids. Spend your time with your parents. Spend your time with your loved ones.
Spend your time. Learning about the technologies that you that you think are meaningful, man,
I I really I really think I finally am starting to get it as I lose members of my family
and I go through life enduring the slings and arrows they can throw at you.
It really is about enjoying where you're at with the people you're with, right?
Valuing the connections that you've made, and you know if you have a small community like like what
we have right now ourselves, man, I I feel super blessed. I love you all.
I think we should start winding down the space. Maybe we'll we'll call it here at 9:30.
We've been going for a nice three hours, but we may consider doing it an hour later
or at a different time, or or maybe doing blocks against the machine episodes at different times.
But yeah, it'll be fun seeing where that goes. Hope you'll tune in. We'll we'll follow up
with some more info, and you know we'll we'll keep it rocking. So I'm gonna pass the mic around
so everybody can say their their final words, final piece, and then we'll head out of here. Yeah.
Yeah, and I look forward to go ahead, Mitch. I I want to go last. No, I was just laughing.
I was like, oh, I guess I'll talk. I don't know. I'm literally putting out a fire right now, man.
So like, you couldn't you couldn't have ended it at a better time. Let's go. So please be safe.
Yeah, no, I got I got the hose, man. We're safe. It's safely extinguished, my boy. They should.
They should pay me. They should pay me for this, but they don't. They should. They should.
They pay you in love, maybe. Maybe. Yeah. It's value for value, right? That's all good though.
Can't complain. Uh, can't complain about uh seeing you guys. It was great to talk to you.
I didn't see you, but uh, man, so much love for all you guys on the space. Razo's, man,
it's so good to hear your voice and talk to you, and I love your perspective on uh just ta
and you know every. I see a lot of it, man, and uh. You you found a good spot, you know.
Cardano is a lot. I always say it's like common common sense, or like it's a true common sense
like crypto chain. So like it's not an accident that you stumbled upon this,
and everyone else has been really cool to hear you. And that's it. Thanks, man. Yeah, appreciate.
Genio, wanna go? Say bye to me. Patricio, ooh, and Agnes came up. Yes. Oh, Agnes is here.
Let's hear from Agnes. I'll I'll say bye. Oh, in a minute. I'm wondering if it would be acceptable
if I could take up the mantle of relic and do the chant before we go. Oh my God, yes, please.
Oh my God, the chant, Agnes. Thank you so much. Oh my God, are you gonna do it? That's awesome.
Yeah, I can do it last, or I can do it now. Whatever you like. I'd miss it. Let's do it last. Yeah,
let's do it last. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Sounds good. All right. Thanks everybody for everything. Uh,
Mitch, be careful there. Um, I'm safe. I'm safe. Uh, Patrick, I think you're sleeping.
That will be so on brand. I love you, my friend. Fat money. So nice to see you, Agnes.
I I love that whole thing. I have to say everything about it. Shout out to everybody here
in the room. Rod, as always, you rock, man. Keep this going. I'll support you,
and I'll try to make it when I when I have a chance for sure. I've been taking some time away
from all the, you know, just to to focus on things. But I'm here, and and I'll support.
We know you're here, Jenny. How have you been? Hell yeah, we know we know we know you love us.
We love you, and and we gotta support each other, and and we do. And like Mitch was saying,
we're just happy when we get to spend some time. Fuck yeah! In real talk, sorry. Um,
if there was ever like a Cardano Hall of Fame, I will uh vouch for Jenny to be in like
the Pioneer Hall of Fame for Cardano. Man, she is a true person that probably helped a lot
of people. O G at the very beginning. O G O G. So yeah, I appreciate that. You got my full support.
Really do. Really do. You got my vote as well. And you have my axe. And my bow. And I don't know.
I look forward to to. I don't know if you guys go to my. I'm trying to get better at making videos.
You know, I got too many ideas, guys. I'm working on my AI book. Already wrote it like ten times.
I'm trying to tokenize my music. I put it in the comments, like the art.
Like each track is gonna have like a different like colors of my simbo.
So I'm trying to tokenize that, but also with Rada, I'm trying to start spaces where we can have
like AI music battles. Maybe get some sponsorships from something like Suno. It'd be sick. Dude,
it's gonna be fire. We could make it like World Cup, right? Where there's brackets
and people can like submit their their AI music. So I have big plans for all this.
The Bad Money show, and maybe we'll even throw that stuff online. So, so yeah, yeah. Watch out,
guys. For me, this is just the beginning. I just got started with this. I just been practicing,
getting better. I trying to to put my messages forward, my music. It's all connected, and. And me
and Rod, I don't know. We found ourselves because of Cardano here, and it seems like we're in
similar paths. So right now we're just trying to work together, and especially
through these dark times, I really think that there's better days coming ahead.
And as a technical analyst, is right there. I mean. Is this it, baby? Yeah, and honestly,
we talked with Patrick about that earlier too. Just I, I love the idea of working together
in this moment with people like like Jenny. I don't know what kind of project we might collab on,
but I would love to work with you on something. And same thing with you, space lady. Like,
if there's any way that I can contribute or create something aligned with what you're making,
like I'm in that, I'm in that phase of my of my involvement, I suppose,
like in the space where I'm like, you know. I we did the talking for a long time.
Now I've built some individual stuff that I'm gonna keep doing, but I really want to collab with
some community members on something. Like, so I know he's not here anymore,
but that's why I gave Box Lord a big shout out because he he and I talked for a little while
about a graphic novel that I had thought about making a long time ago. And he said, you know,
I let me give it a go, let me give it a shot. So I was like, oh shit, okay. So you know,
this this kind of crazy idea might just manifest itself. And and I just fucking love that so much
because I I have always wanted to be. Someone who who writes a short story
or creates a a fun little engaging text, because I'm thinking about it as as something educational
that I could use even in like in classrooms and stuff. And anyway, doing
more stuff like that collaboratively with all of you who are the OGs, are are my community,
are the ones that I want to win with and and sort of collaborate with. Shit, let's find ways, man,
to do stuff that. Supports each other. I know IRL we could do events. We could do boots
on the ground type of stuff. We could also do virtual meetups. Yeah, virtual workshops.
Like we could do, I don't know, just any number of things to bring together our communities.
Comedy shows, right? Like virtual comedy shows, Web3 kind of big events that we can network.
If we can't be in the same room together, shit, I would really love to put up to put up a screen
where you know Mitch and I can from far away be watching the same performer
and then have a conversation about engage together, right? Sort of like doing these events
where we put on a a live virtual presentation. And so Rosal and I were talking about the rap battles
as as a form of doing that. And yeah, if we can use if we can integrate if we can integrate
the technology to to do the voting and stuff like that, like you did with the game,
that would become super cool. Yeah, so. Anyway, I I think I think that's absolutely the vibe.
So I'm gonna toss the mic. I think to so Jenny just went. Agnes is gone. Patrick I think is asleep.
Mitch has gone. I see Agnes here. I thought she was doing the ministry. Agnes is binging us.
Agnes is here. Okay. Okay. He's in the chat. We devoted fans are waiting for you. Agnes,
can you hear us? Jarhead just got here. Oh shit! Jarhead just got here. Talk about OG homie. Yeah,
I say we do a chant, and then and then maybe I'll keep it around for a few minutes,
just kind of loosey goosey. But that'll be the official exit of the ministry today.
Thank you all for joining. Yeah, let's do it.
I've got my hydro flask water bottle here. Let's see how this works.
Blessed are we, the devotees of the A. D. A. Ministry. Cardano, Cardano, let's go, man. Not a cult,
yeah, not a cult. Kind of sound like that still. Yeah, that was amazing. Thank you for the.
That's gonna feed my soul for the next week. Those are those good good vibes. That song carries
such good vibes. Yeah, relic is missed. Absolutely, absolutely. And and funny enough, right?
That's how relic became a co-host at the ministry. Originally,
was Johnny sort of had you know sort of wasn't showing up to the spaces anymore.
He created the the chant, and relic felt like it was necessary, it was needed,
and you know he came up and he did it, and yeah, that was kind of a cool origin story for
how relic started becoming the the co-host. And I do hope he'll join us periodically. Maybe
if I change the schedule, it might actually work to that advantage because I know he's doing some.
What was it? Dungeons and Dragons, like IRL, like he has like a club and stuff that he he's doing on
Sundays, and I think that's fucking awesome. So I'm like, dude, if anything, jump on.
Relic is a part of the Hellfire Club. Is that is that what it is? Well, you know,
he is he he is missed and he is loved. And yeah, if you're listening to a recording, Relic,
we miss you. How you been? What what is it? How you been? I hope you've been well.
And I do see we got Musa up here, so I want to definitely share the mic before we call it
in any way, shape, or form. Musa. Yeah, Jim, Jim, everyone. Yeah, I have actually been hanging out
in the space, like looking at, listening to the conversation you guys are having,
and I just want to say shout out and a big thank you to all of you that keep ah are keeping
the house warm for Inkanao. So yeah. It's a good one, and I wish to see more,
and hope to see more of conversations like this happening in Kaduna ecosystem,
and keeping the house busy like this. Yes, thank you guys. Oh my God, thank you so much
for those flowers. Honestly, it it warms my heart to know that you had a good experience,
and that see that alone is reason enough for me to decide to to do it again next week.
And we do have a lot of a lot of things to talk about, so I I think I can commit to doing it
on a more consistent basis. So thank you for that, and I think on that note,
that is a perfect note to end the space on. Go and show support to the community. Go and join
other spaces that you find meaningful value in. I wish you all a good week. You will, you know,
spot me around in the spaces. I'll be jumping in, just listening in. I'll be at Cardano
over coffee tomorrow morning, for example. Just, you know, rolling with the community.
I'm on summer break right now, so I get a little time to just actually participate in things that
I I would miss out during the day because I'm teaching class or something. So. Yeah, I mean,
I've even thought about popping up a space during the day, just to chit chat with people.
Like ministries, an evening space, but maybe something during the day, maybe during the lunch hour.
I don't know if anyone's interested in co-hosting something like that.
Aside from what I'll be doing with Razo. Maybe we could pop up like a like a day space or something,
but I would love nothing more than to create more of these conversations,
bring back real real community engagement that people find meaningful and valuable. And yeah,
that that along with the degens stuff is good. Like it goes hand in hand.
You can't have the one without the other. I don't think we need real meaningful discussions as well
as you know people trading tokens and having fun. So I'm peppy. By Pepe, yeah I know. Hey, listen,
get your get your bags in order. Is all I'll say. Get your bags in order as the space sees
potential lows. Get your bags in order. You know whatever that means to you.
It's it's very much a different situation for all of us. But I hope you're not over leveraged.
I hope you are in a position where you can enjoy any potential growth.
You don't suffer too much with any potential down. And yeah, you know we'll we'll keep it rocking.
We'll be here with the community every Sunday at least. Coming back. Unless there's a holiday
or something, you know what I mean. You know what I mean. But anyway, much love, everybody.
Thanks again, Agnes, for the chant. That was beautiful. I needed that,
and I really needed to hear all of your voices. I know we lost Patrick in this final moment,
but he's another one that I'm just like, man, I I got this emotional time in our dreams.
What was that, Jenny? He's dreaming with us right now. Yes, yes, yes. He's having good dreams
because of us, and and I will have good ones because of all of you. So, thank you so much.
I'm trying to sound like Big Joe, like I'm in the shower right now, and I didn't quite hear what
Musa said, but um, I appreciate him coming up and saying such cool stuff, man.
Really like your vibe, like your claymate. Um, yeah, dude, that was a good. That was pretty good.
That was pretty good, dude. But yeah, okay. With that, much love to everybody.
Thank you for joining us up top. Much love to Big Joe wherever he's at.
I hope you maybe you hear this in the recording, Joe, and just know that we love you and we miss you
and we we love our community. We need our community. We gotta just bring back that that good vibe.
May we all go and have a great week. And yeah,
much love to you guys throughout the week and maybe next Sunday. Peace.
