The gold rush. Hi, the gold rush. Happy Sunday. Um, hope you're enjoying your Sunday. Uh,
and hope um today is not stressful for you. Um, I am enjoying my Sunday here,
and it's it's
kind of cold. The weather has been cold for some weeks now here, and Yep, that's that's just it.
Um, um, did you go to church today, and, or, you or you were just resting at home today,
or you've been resting at home today. Um. My Sundays are usually cool. Yep,
my Sundays are usually cool. Um, I usually have less things to do. I just do more personal things
on Sundays, and yep, that's just it. And I welcome you to episode twenty-five
of Cardano Newcomer Support Space, and I am your host, your usual host, your regular host. I am me.
Okay. I'm so cold, man. Um, and I want to say thank you for all the support so far. Um,
the Gold Rush. Thanks for um, always reposting for always coming through for me. Yep.
All right. Uh, by the way, Gold Rush left. I guess it's gonna come back. Yeah.
Okay, um, let me try. Man, I'm so tired.
Oh Jesus! I thank you. I bless your name, oh Jesus. Thank you. I worship you, oh Jesus. Okay,
Jenny just joined the space. Hi, Jenny. Happy Sunday. Amen. Today, I had to think of one
to two persons before I hosted the space. Cause man, I just wanted to go and sleep, but man,
I just thought of some things and some people. I just said, okay, let me just do this.
I should not give up just yet. I just came back from where I went, so I went out. I went,
I went out with my friend just to enjoy Sunday. I came back out about twenty minutes ago.
And I'm here again. Cold as usual. I'm always complaining of my cold every time on my space.
Cause man, it's so cold here. So fucking cold that my my hands, I mean my palm
and my feet are almost turning to uh to ice. Cause they are too cold. When I shake people, they say,
"Oh, man, this so cold. Did you put your hands in in in in the fridge,
or you went in an AC before you came out?" I was like, "No, man, it's the weather.
I don't know why it's always affecting my palm and my feet. Always so cold." Anyways, happy Sunday,
Ginny. Um, I believe you are still enjoying your Sunday, and um. I hope you went to church,
and if you did not, that's still fine. That's still okay. Um. Oh, I see proof partner. Hi hi,
proof partner. Happy Sunday, and thanks for joining us today. So, I hope you're enjoying
your Sunday. I hope um you went to church, and if you did not, it's totally fine. Yup,
and I welcome Ginny and Proof Partner to Cardano Newcomer Support. Oh, thumbs down, Proof Partner.
Are you giving thumbs down? Oh, that was a mistake. Okay, I welcome you to Cardano Newcomer Support.
Space episode twenty five. Wow, episode twenty five. That sounds cool. Okay, um.
I am your regular host on this space, as usual. Ayomi, my name is Ayomi. Or you call me number one,
or you call me Ayomi Sugar, Sugar. Well, I don't know where the Sugar came from, but it's all right.
You can call me any of the names I mentioned earlier. Ayomi, number one, Sugar, Ayomi Sugar.
Can call me any of those names. They all fine and good. Yeah. So guys, um, uh, honestly, um,
I think, um, one of the things that is actually trending in the ecosystem right now is the launch,
launching or the launched F fourteen, right? Um. Yep, and I heard that, um,
this funding round it was slashed the. Um allocation was slashed by about fifty percent.
I don't know. Um, I heard that initially, um, um, Cataly used to get fifty, fifty million either
or something, but this time around, they were giving twenty million either. In F fourteen,
it's even more than fifty percent slash. Okay. So. Um, I don't know if that's correct,
but I guess it is. For my little research so far, uh, um, but there's this thing
that is confusing me right now. Um, I know F14 was launched few some days back, right? And um,
I heard that, I heard that, the webs are yet to vote. Um, catalysts. I don't know,
so they're still waiting for. The webs to vote for them or something. So, I don't.
I don't understand that part. And I hope I can get more insights from you guys.
Probably from the Gold Rush journey. Proof, but now if you have any information about all
of the extents, yep. Because I do not like to have little idea about something. I mean,
I do not like to have. Um, maybe twenty percent or thirty percent about something.
I like I like to know at least maybe ninety nine percent of something,
so I can always have the the boldness to say, "Oh, I know about this very well." Okay, we have
CK Cardano in the building. Hi, CK. Happy Sunday. What's up? What's up, Iomi? Happy Sunday.
I'm doing good. I'm I'm super bullish. Was just having some great conversations with
with the Cardano community about just about midnight and about strike strike Cardanos supporting
Bitcoin perpetuals before the end of the summer, which is super exciting.
We've got all these like the Cardano kit integration or release from Tokyo Wallet.
That's going to allow having Cardano like D apps and whatnot be compatible with the Apple Store.
That is such a huge unlock. And then, I mean, and there's just so much coming.
And I think we're we're having a lot of like Atrium is now released with you know get Big Pay
's done, and so now the community kind of had this rallying point where we can create things
like we're cooking an idea that that's along the lines of like crypto treasure quests. So, like,
what if, for instance, leading up to the midnight airdrop? So we know that Bitcoin, the white paper,
was released on Halloween night in 2008. And how cool would it be if we had like a fun community,
like treasure quest? For maybe like a tenth of a Bitcoin or something like that,
that everyone got to participate in discovering seed phrases and stuff together.
And I think one of the cool ideas is we could actually hook up
with like twenty-four small businesses, starting in like in America, like have
the first crypto treasure quest be America, but then the next one be international. So like,
imagine if like everyone gets together and goes, oh, there's a donut shop in Salem, Massachusetts.
That if I know the right word, because I was on the website and I'm part of
like the Cardano community and I know about the crypto Cardano Treasure Quest
or the Bitcoin Treasure Quest, I know that if I go to this donut shop and I order
the Satoshi Sprinkle at you know 8 p.m. To midnight, that I'll get a secret code.
Then I can go home, log onto a website, and put in that code, and then boom,
I maybe get the first of 24 seed phrases. But then I get an unlock that says. Oh,
there's a there's a coffee shop in Nigeria that you have to order like a specific drink
and this kind of thing. And then so suddenly we have teams that go, okay, I'm in Salem,
Massachusetts, but I know that the next seed phrase is in Nigeria. So I have to get on Twitter.
I have to get on TikTok. I have to get on all my social media to say, "Do I have a friend in Nigeria
near the coffee shop?" Right, and then so you have teams that are all getting together,
kind of like Pokemon Go, when people were using their phones and like walking in real space
to try to find different Pokemon. We can do that, but we can do that with crypto treasure quests.
And imagine the ways that we can inspire small businesses to have a lot,
like a real bump in business. Right, if suddenly. Everyone's like, "Oh my gosh,
I'm on a crypto treasure quest." And I learned that if I order a coffee at your establishment,
that I can get the next code to unlock the next step in the treasure. And then what you end up
having is you can have teams of treasure hunters around the world. Where once you get accepted on
a team, you input your receive address for where you're going. So if your team cracks all 24
of the seed phrases first, because you get all the codes and and and you network, social,
and all that. Then everyone that's part of your treasure hunting team gets an equal share
of the treasure's value, and so the treasure will be seated with, let's say,
like maybe it's a Bitcoin, and then you have people that can buy in for for clues
in the treasure hunt, where it's like, okay, for ten ADA, you can get you can get a new clue,
or maybe you don't have a member of the Cardano community. Maybe in order to get the first clue,
so that you can you know not get left behind by everyone else, maybe there's like a buy-in.
Or you have to have a you have to have a friend that's in the Cardano community, right?
Because maybe if you're a member of SNIC or you're a member of like one of these other communities,
they may already know. So it's like a way to get excitement, to get free marketing, to encourage
small businesses. Maybe there's 24 small businesses that accept cryptocurrency, for instance.
You know, so there's just so many cool ideas like this cooking and then landing the plane on this.
We're talking about the power of like for instance, there's an upcoming boxing event that's
a Canelo Alvarez versus Terence Crawford, and they say that that's going to be
the most watched boxing event maybe in the last hundred years. But likely in the last fifty
at least, and so what they're saying is like, imagine how much money like a poly market
or a bodega Cardano is going to make on like one night like that, you know?
And so like ways where we'll be able to integrate social aspects with blockchain
and financial aspects with like gaming and wagering and fun cultural sort of aspects
that are just going to add so much value. So when there's those of us that are like, yeah, you know,
we see kind of a baseline valuation for Ada at like five to seven dollars is
a pretty comfortable spot. When you just look at all the potential unlock with the the Bitcoin DeFi
and the Bodega and the Strike and the Perpetuals and the Midnight and all of these integrations
to come, and then all the social aspects, and then oh, there's just so much building, IOMI.
So I'm landing the plane with I'm excited, and that's how I'm doing the Sunday. How are you doing?
Um, I'm CK. Thank you for all of the updates, and thanks for. Uh. Honestly,
I I totally forgot that a lot of things are going on in the ecosystem, like the um, ah,
what's the name of this then? The Midnight Network. Yeah, the Midnight Network,
adrop that is coming up. Ah, and also um Atrium, but for the Atrium, I see some people posting about
um Big Pay blocking them or something like that. I don't know what's going on because I've seen
a lot of people complain about that. I don't know. Okay, and also, yeah,
you you talked about the the treasure treasure aunt. Um, whose whose idea is that? That's my idea.
It's it's one of the things that like Bitcoin has a problem in that they don't get a lot
of new people to want to wonder what Bitcoin is. So when you wander in these Bitcoin spaces,
they're talking about things like Bitcoin bonds. Bonds and and it's like that's not
how to get people excited to buy Bitcoin and then when you also have it's like a hundred
and eighteen thousand dollars to start so so at first I was like okay they're missing the value
of community excitement you know like what makes memes so successful why do
why is it possible to move literally billions of dollars with just a fun exciting idea
and basically this is what I'm here to bring to Cardano and what a lot
of us have been doing together is that vibe piece and and Bitcoin could use that
and that's what you're here for IOMI as well like whether you you make that conscious choice
or not the fact that you're holding these spaces. And you're creating this content
for the community. You're part of that vibe, you know. And like, as we know,
just like a good song can become viral, and everyone's like, "Oh yeah, I love that song.
It makes me feel good." If you get people excited about an idea, a treasure hunt, or just a fun app,
A way where you can you and your friends every Saturday night can can do wagering
and watch UFC fights, or you can come together and use Strike Cardano and have like
a community managed wallet. You can have meme coins competing with each other,
betting against basketball games and and and soccer games and all these things that are
literal value creation that Cardano hasn't been able to lock in that value for a couple reasons.
One, like our stablecoin depth. But some of it is also just, you know, technology integration,
support from tier one exchanges, and what is so exciting is Cardano is now the number one,
most actively developed blockchain in the world. There are more Cardano GitHub commits than
any other blockchain. So we're now beating Ethereum, and one of the reasons why now we're getting
so much more smart contract and code being developed and released on Cardano more
than any other blockchain in the world is we have projects like like Akin. We have coding languages
and developer tools that are just so much easier. Where like a year, a year and a half,
two years ago, everyone kind of had to break the first ground. You know,
it's like when people climb mountains. It's kind of funny because like you climb a mountain today,
and you get to hook into like metal spikes that are buried in the mountain, right?
So there's these ways and these safety points because someone at one point was the first person
to climb the mountain to put the steel stakes in, right? They didn't have the safety net.
They had to be the brave ones that set the precedent. But once those steel stakes are in
the mountain, it's a lot easier for other people to safely climb, and so that's
kind of what's been happening in the last two years. That's what open source infrastructure
and development is. It makes it easier for people to develop. It makes it easier for people to climb
and reach the summit, right? And what that summit might be is integrating a new feature
into your wallet. And we just got an announcement from Anvil Dev Agency of. Cardano,
so they're a developer on Cardano, and they are releasing an open source developer stack
with callable APIs and all kinds of stuff, and so it's going to help. It's
just another great open source repository of free tools for developers,
and then we have the the creation of No Witness Labs, which is a spinoff from Anastasia Labs.
Some of the folks that had been working with Anastasia Labs, Anastasia Labs has been so successful
that members of that team have been able to create and sort of embark on their own new entity called
No Witness Labs, which is dedicated to open source tooling and developing development. We've got
Blink Labs, we've got Block Frost. So I'm just All of this development is happening,
and so suddenly there are projects that are coming and that are being released
and that are going to be released that we don't even know about. And so, and at the same time,
look at our stablecoins. We've been talking about, oh man, we need a stablecoin liquidity depth.
Meanwhile, USDM has been quietly establishing a deeper and a deeper fiat-backed stablecoin pool.
They have a relationship with an exchange that is literally minting. I think their first mint
was like four hundred thousand dollars, a four hundred thousand USDM at a time. Time, so yeah,
very very cool, very bullish. I think that what is coming together, what's going to be kicked off
at Rare Evo, and what's already been cooking leading into Rare Evo, is a lot of folks
that are connected across blockchains, but particularly the Bitcoin, Litecoin, Cardano,
UTXO community, and that sort of technology stack and set. We're going to see a lot
of powerful narratives that that that unify the sort of the UTXO based blockchains
with hard cap supplies that I think are going to have people that have been Participating in Cardano
and have been really wishing like success for this chain and have been patient and put in the time
and the sweat and the blood and the tears so to speak. I think they're
about to get really handsomely rewarded for that patience and that that putting in the work
because we were the ones that have climbed the mountain and put in the spikes.
So now when when Bitcoin DeFi unlocks, right? We know that Bitcoin only does seven transactions
per second. Bitcoin is having an argument amongst themselves about core versus knots.
And when you're looking at uh at the rate of of artificial intelligence
and all that value creation that's to come. The people and the technology
and the freedom cannot wait for seven transactions per second. Quite frankly,
we cannot wait for Bitcoin. Fortunately, Bitcoin has friends. Bitcoin has a brain,
and its name is Cardano. So that's the work. Cook and IOMI and I'm bullish. I'm bullish as heck.
Thank you so much, CK, for all of that. Um, I wanted to ask this. Um, this. I this. Uh,
treasure hunt idea you you talked about. Is it? I have you started working on it already,
or is just an idea? Yeah, yeah. So I'm actually kind of doing an Avengers Assemble situation
as as we sort of speak. It's in the last couple of days. I've had this idea kicking around for
for a while, but it's now getting to the point where it just it makes a lot of sense.
So I'm starting to like that as I'm putting the feelers out there. There's two
or three people that have that that have reached out to explicitly, but there's
about half a dozen to a dozen that are kind of circling in the periphery.
It would be really cool to have it launched in October. Because I think it would be fun to have
it be an additional sort of like marketing layer to get the word out about midnight.
Because you have 24 words in a seed phrase, right? So basically, you can have 24 days of legend
and lore celebrating the release of the whitepaper on Halloween night and the midnight airdrop,
you know. And then suddenly we can launch, let's say, a space, a 24/7 space called
the Midnight Mission. That's one of the things that I kind of want to do.
So there's so many ways that we can layer this. And what's neat is it scales up and down, you know.
We can make it as modest or as big as we want, and it's just a matter of do we have the wisdom
and the vision and the foresight to follow through and create that vibe. Because again,
think about it: we have seen meme coins go from not existing to moving billions of dollars just
because the right major figures are behind it. So that should highlight the fact that we are
only the right idea away from moving billions of dollars. Right? That was one of the the secrets
behind the success of Snek. Is Snek really understood what has worked,
and even with all of the handicaps that Cardano has had even building in the middle of a bear market
by using fundamental tools of human psychology, supply and demand, UTXO, all these things,
community culture, art, music, just you know the whole thing. They learn how to create value
and inspire ideas that inspire other people. Because what are the secret like the recipes, right?
You can't just say, "Hey, come buy my meme coin," because we're going to make a lot of money.
What works is, what if you're part of a community? What if you are part
of an international collective of well-funded and free artists and engineers, musicians, humorists,
and human beings that are working together to rest, find things from dreams,
creating things that have never been, monetizing what moves and inspires them freely. Right,
because ten millionaires around the world supporting each other can make an eleven millionaires
pretty easily, and the eleven become twelve, the twelve working together become fifteen,
the fifteen become twenty, so on and so forth, until you have a network of thousands of well-funded
and free, very creative people with different skills. Some of us know how to code, some of us know
how to sing songs and write music really well. Some of us make great coffee, right?
Some of us want to raise awesome, powerful families, right? Maybe start a farm.
And what's really cool is working together with these freedom technologies and assets,
we can liberate each other all around the world, even if they live with a local government
that doesn't really honor them or respect them, or or hurts the quality of their money
and these things. Because that's what Satoshi released onto the world was decoupling a tool
to decouple the people from state and state control of of money.
So suddenly we can each actually capture, retain, and hold in our own custody the value that
we create in this world, in this life. In our finite time, and that's powerful, you know.
And no state, no no no other actor can artificially take your your value, your money,
what you worked for away, you know. And that's so powerful. And that's why when when people on these
like television shows say, "Oh, what does Bitcoin bring to the world?" It's just a Ponzi scheme.
It's a scam. It's a this. It's a that. It's like, no, guys, think about this. It is a ledger.
It is a way of storing value that anyone with a smartphone anywhere in the world can participate in.
That means that that kid that's like sixteen years old that's a savant that that writes music
that would make Kanye West wish he could that can now be monetized. On a smartphone
that has been unlocked for everyone. So what I'm saying is, Bitcoin unlocked for the first time
in human history a universal state of economic fair play. Because the fact of the matter is,
30 years ago, 20 years ago, before January 3rd, 2009, to be exact, which is the launch
of the Genesis block of Bitcoin, if you were in in in Thailand, let's say, right,
there was no way for you to readily participate in global stores of value and things like that.
And so, so now with Bitcoin, what that released is a way for everyone all around the world
to to access, store, and exchange value without a centralized entity saying that it's okay
for you to do it. And what's really cool is all of the interconnections between these value networks
and tools and assets are becoming more and more smooth and more and more frictionless.
And Midnight is going to give privacy. So suddenly, we are going to be able to use the tools
of the fiat system to store our value more freely in assets that we control. And what's really,
really kind of poetic is the bad actors that kind of poisoned the old system now have no choice
but to migrate trillions and trillions of dollars of value into a freedom network that empowers
the people individually. That is the the the beauty of it is suddenly.
If you want to put it like less than positive forces in the world, because they created a system
that was not fair, right? That's why the U.S. Dollar is dying. That's why there's all this inflation
and stuff, because people were making insider deals, overleveraging money,
hurting people that were creating value, concentrating value in hands of people
that shouldn't have had it. Writing, you know, bad deals that screwed over some to advantage a few,
and actually screwed over the many to advantage the few, and you you do that for a hundred years
or so, and it finally will give up the ghost. It will finally become so labyrinthinely
not only complex but convoluted and polluted and toxic that it no longer can even support itself.
And so that's why that everyone's going, oh god, like the dollar is blowing up, like. It was like
less than 40 days ago that the U.S. National debt crossed 37 trillion dollars, and in
just 32 days—it's been like five or six days since I looked—but in the 32 days, it was
136 billion dollars, which is, for instance, 15 times the market cap of Litecoin.
So it's like in a month there there's new dollars that's 15 times what Litecoin is. So
when I look at Litecoin and I go, "Yeah, guys, that is the most to me that is
the most inevitable play in the market right now." Like when you weigh everything out, like risk,
reward, inevitability, Litecoin is just so because it's so obvious. But yeah, you know,
there's only 84 million, and and they're they're printing a crazy number of dollars. So BlackRock
and these people that have a lot of dollars, like for instance, another kind of scary statistic
or or interesting statistic is this year alone, if you had a million dollars in an account
in the like in the United States, for instance, it is worth 11 percent less now, just in this year
since the beginning, since January one, it has less than 900 thousand dollars worth
of economic leverage just because of inflation, the cost of different goods and services
and whatnot on balance mean that your dollar goes 11 percent as far, like less far since
just January. So it's crazy when you look at that. So what that means is the people that are really,
really rich in the old system realize, oh my God, all the dollars that I hold are rapidly losing
their value. So the only solution is to put my money in assets that don't lose value like that,
that don't have the inflation problem, and that's where Bitcoin, 21 million Bitcoin,
84 million Litecoin, 45 billion Cardano, and so then when you see, oh my gosh. Trillions of dollars
are flooding into Bitcoin, but the only way to really express and unlock
and get privacy for that Bitcoin is like Cardano, is things like Cardano and Midnight.
So that's kind of the special sauce that I think we're really going to see unlocked this summer. So
when we see ADA suddenly take off and we break the dollar and then we break two
and then we're getting towards our all-time high, then we break all our all-time high. Then we,
oh my gosh, we're at five dollars. Oh my gosh, we're you know closing in on seven.
When all that's happening, it's going to be because people are suddenly having this dawning
of recognition that oh my gosh, Cardano is really useful. And the the most like cool thing for
for many is going to be Wow, my Bitcoin can now do really cool shit
because right now Bitcoin can only do seven transactions per second, right? Whereas here on Cardano,
we can do bodega, you know, we can do like wagering, we can do strike Cardano, we can do perpetuals,
we can do lending and borrowing, we can access stable coins, we can access meme coins,
we can do all this cool shit. And what's going to happen in a few short weeks is we're going to flip
a switch, and folks that are on Bitcoin are going to be able to access perpetuals on on Cardano,
for instance. And then very shortly thereafter, you know, all the rest is going to come,
and it's it's very very exciting. So yeah, yeah, it's good stuff, my homie. It's good stuff.
Yeah, thank you, CK. Um, first off, um, I want to say nice PFP. I can see the new PFP
on your profile. Thank you, thank you. I'm I'm debating whether or not I should keep it.
Maureen is the one. She pressured me into it. She's like, oh, I like that other PFP. I'm like, okay,
let's see. She was talking shit about my flower. She was like, oh, that rose. Da da da.
She's being silly though. Uh, but yeah, thank you, Iomia. I appreciate the.
I appreciate your appreciation. Yeah, you're welcome. And also, um. I have a question,
but before that, I think let me give the mic to Proof Partner.
Proof Partner has something to say, I guess. Proof Partner, you there?
Sorry, I stepped away for a moment. I'll be back. Oh, oh, okay, that's all right. Um, CK,
I I wanted to ask you that uh this idea, this idea that that you're talking about. Is it? Are you?
Is it like a solo thing? I mean, are you doing all by yourself, or you're, uh,
bringing it to catalyst or something? Yeah. So it could go a couple of different ways.
Like we'll see. I think it's an idea that could very well, you know, maybe warrant a a catalyst kind
of situation. But right now, I think the idea is so good, quite frankly.
And I think that I can build a model that self funds. Right. Like again,
if an idea is interesting enough, People will be willing to say like like if you could get on
a a Bitcoin treasure quest and it was like five dollars or five ADA you know something like that
well then that starts to become like like everyone that participates those buy-ins can become part
of the treasure quest and then you can maybe only take like twenty percent of that to fund the team
right because you're right someone is going to have to go out and like ideally I would love to reach
out to 24 small businesses right and for the first one to keep it nice and simple
and whatnot I think I would limit it to the United States but I could very easily ring up
24 Bitcoin friendly Small businesses in in 24 different states, and then I can you know propose,
hey, do you want to have folks that are coming into your to your your small business
and are asking about Bitcoin and and and and, and if these are small businesses
that support Bitcoin, of course they're going to say yes. You're going to get
you're going to light up social media and have people flooding in, googling,
wanting to know my address, like all the stuff. So it's like it's all good stuff.
So I think it won't need catalyst funding. And so right now, again, I've got like two people
that I'm kind of you know actively that are expressing interest. I know there's another community
called Bit Angels where they also seek bids, and so I know that they're interested in this concept
because they see the the value that it would have for the Bitcoin community. Because again,
one of the problems that Bitcoin has is they allowed the kind of toxic maximalists to have
a really loud voice for a long time, and so what that did is people that are familiar
with smart contracts start talking about the capability of smart contracts,
and for years they've been been met with, oh, you're a shit. Coiner, it's Ethereum,
and that's so destructive, right? So suddenly you get a little toxic pool of angry people that are
literally ignorant of the like, like I go into these spaces and it's like, guys, you don't know that
Lightning Network is already irrelevant. They don't know that Midgard
and Hydra are going to replace it, and they're going to love the replacement.
But because they don't hear these voices, they don't get the benefit of all the capability
that that's happened. So I think that this this Bitcoin treasure quest is a really cool way
to like help them understand that there are there are ways of creating value that it isn't like the
because a lot of their fear is that it's going to take money away from Bitcoin.
The reason why they want to say everything else is a shitcoin, and we should make Bitcoin special,
and even convince politicians to pass laws to make it the only thing—they're doing that
because they want to pump their bags, and they're afraid that if other projects are successful,
it means money goes away from Bitcoin. But the reality is, we can create and unlock
more value together with things like these Bitcoin treasure quests, right? Because again,
we see people will participate just for a fucking meme, and an international treasure quest is
so exciting, you know. And if you suddenly get to be part of a of a treasure quest team, where
every month, every time one treasure is unlocked, It just starts the next one, right?
We launch another one, so it becomes a fun thing that meme coin communities
across chains can come together, and then suddenly the treasure is like it's XRP, it's Solana,
it's Ethereum, it's multiple assets. Where everyone in all these communities maybe like, oh,
I want another hint, or oh, I want like some other thing, so we can have
all these little monetization mechanisms where people are having fun, they're moving together,
they're they're they're doing free marketing for all of the projects that that participate,
and not only can we get small businesses involved, we can use the social tools, right?
So one of the people that I was talking to was L. L had an idea for an application called Callers.
My sense of the initial thought was, how do we get uh, how do we unify or or or or um, kind of um.
Synthesize people that make good calls in the market, right? So imagine if you could copy trade
the ten best traders on Cardano, right? So that's kind of what what what callers kind of was,
I think, wanted to do is to give ways for people to to come together, kind of see
what was happening in the market, and and get an edge on everyone else. So we can take that idea
and say, wow, what is this? This is actually a social platform bringing people together into like
a nexus, a central platform, and people radically underestimate the power of solid ground.
As a matter of fact, I think it was Isaac Newton that that said, "Give me a lever long enough
and a place to stand, and I and I will move the world." That place to stand
can't be you know discounted. So the fact is a like an atrium or like a callers.
So once a callers exists, that could be a platform where we have bodega integrations,
where it's like, hey, every Saturday night we enjoy UFC fights and we do wagering together. Or hey,
this is the the crypto treasure quest, the Bitcoin treasure quest, the Cardano treasure quest,
whatever you know we want to call it. And callers could be one of the the social hubs
where these treasure hunting teams assemble. So maybe I have a friend that's in Maine,
and that's where one of the next seed phrases is, because there's a small business there.
And then we unlock it, and we go, oh no, the next, or or oh yay, the next seed phrase is in Texas.
So then I get on Twitter and I say, "Hey, is there any Cardano members that are close to this
this donut shop or this coffee shop or whatever in Texas? If you are, you know, you know,
send me your receive address or whatever. If you don't have any crypto, get a hold of us here,
right? So basically, you start having all this network social engagement,
which X loves that because then people are posting. It's just, it's all value creation, vibes,
and good shit. So, so yeah." My goal is to launch it with people that are already in the ecosystem.
So folks that have been building that are trusted and that have put a lot of sweat
and and and work in for a long time. And that's one of the beautiful things is by using
those players that have been around longer. Also, we propagate the signal fast. So
if we really want this to launch successfully, we can, you know, inspire the Bitcoin community to,
you know, participate in an exciting whatever. Meanwhile, we use the Cardano native tools that are
the way to actually have the game played and have the the treasure quest, you know, work
and have these fun social integrations. So it becomes that education piece as well.
And then think about this: how many people know that you can move a billion dollars across the world
with 24 words, right? So there's the education piece. And what the other thing is,
each of the 24 word seed phrases is going to have like a Da Vinci Code style puzzle to solve.
So maybe the puzzle is related to something about cryptocurrency, where the only way
where they can get one of the words is to learn about what they're what crypto is.
You know these kinds of fun things. You know, or maybe one of them is learning about a new app that
we're launching. Maybe one of the words is learning about midnight, right?
Maybe one of the words is just some fun trivia about the midnight airdrop.
All this kind of fun stuff. You know, maybe one of the the the riddles is it has to do with
the Ada Lovelace, right? In her history, right? Maybe it has to do with the year that she published.
You know her writings and and and invented the first like computing algorithm, right?
Maybe we look at that first-hand document. See, this is what I would do: is I would try to find
that first-hand document written by Ada Lovelace and try to use that as the basis for for like one
of the the solutions to one of the riddles, you know? Um, because it's fun shit like that.
Then you get people going down rabbit holes, having fun, and so yeah, so it becomes its own thing.
Where even if you don't win the treasure, you love the experience, you love the quest, you know. Um.
So so yeah, I'm very excited about it, Iomi, and so it's currently cooking.
I would love to have it launched like in October because I think that would be fun.
Which means we've got you know August, September, and fortunately, it's a lightweight enough on
like the code side that it could be done. Very lightweight, but it would be nice to have like
social integration, so people have like a fun like hub where they can go to for their
for their like crypto treasure quest kind of thing. So so yeah, we'll see,
but definitely cooking it. And whatever it does happen, I think it's one of those ideas that's
so good that it's undeniable. You know, it'll happen at some point, and and I'm I'm gon
na I'll be you know hopefully the first one to do it,
but I suspect many people will will copy the model. Okay,
thank you, C.K. For all of that, and um. I love the fact that this whole treasure hunt will be
so interesting, and I'm beginning to imagine some some. I'm beginning to imagine
how it's going to look like in my head, and I'm so curious. I wanted to ask
that at the end of the maybe at the end of the completed tax form. Okay, let me say for winners now,
or for a winner who wins the treasure, will the treasure be something worth it? I mean,
I I mean I want to know if you can. If you can tell me what the treasure would be like, yeah, yeah.
So, so the treasure would be crypto, right? So the reason for folks that may not understand, like
why 24 words is important, for folks that know, there is with 24 words in a specific order.
You what that is is is it's known as a seed phrase. Okay, so like when you initiate
a brand new Bitcoin wallet, for instance, or like a Cardano wallet, you will be given twelve
or twenty-four words. Originally, a lot of a lot of the the protocols or or like hardware wallets
will do twelve, uh, but but twenty-four was it was kind of the the original standard. Um,
and what that is is when you generate a receive address, uh, to receive a cryptocurrency
like say Bitcoin, that's going to be a random series of like numbers and letters. And so you wonder,
huh, how are these random numbers and letters generated? The answer is this.
Those twenty-four words in that specific order are associated with mathematics. Behind, right? So,
like for instance, elephant, chimney, night. Dust, right? Just as a simple algorithm,
I could say elephant equals three, chimney equals nine, knight equals square root of three,
dust equals you know something. You pick, right? So suddenly we go, oh shit. Okay, so elephant,
dust, knight, and then twenty-four words, right? So then if behind those there's mathematics
associated with it, well then what happens when you change the order? You change the math, right?
Now what if I told you the mathematics behind those twenty-four words in that certain order are
what create the receive addresses for crypto? So what I'm saying is, if you know the right 24 words
in the right order, you can recover all possible receive addresses. Okay,
that's how when people say "not your keys, not your coins," or in an emergency,
if you need to recover your funds and move them to another wallet or another set of seed phrases,
the way that you recover all of your Bitcoin or your cryptocurrency assets,
because not It's it's more than Bitcoin that can now be protected. That people have standardized
that 24 word seed phrase, so that with those 24 words, you can recover Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum,
Solana, all kinds of stuff, Cardano. So what I'm saying, IOMI, is this treasure quest will unveil.
You will discover the 24 words. Which allows the team that gets them first in the correct order,
because that would be another way to make the quest longer and would be a fun little twist.
Is first they discover the twenty-four words, then uh-oh, now you got to get the order, right? So,
so there's we have a lot of options. Like if people crack it too quick or whatever, but anyway, um,
so yeah, so so basically, what they'll be questing for, what I think would be a really big, like
if we really wanted to go big, and and really wanted to nail like the Bitcoin,
we would put one Bitcoin in the wallet. Right, you would put one bitcoin in the wallet
and say the first team that discovers that these twenty-four words has access is going to get
a bitcoin. Right, so if you want to, you know, get the first clue and know about the donut shop
in Salem, Massachusetts, right? That might be the that might be the clue is information
that leads you to a donut shop in Salem, Massachusetts, and then you know what to do
once you're there to get the first word. And then, in order to do that, right?
Maybe it's you buy in with like a thousand, like you know, ten thousand satoshis, or five ADA,
or you know, however much Solana, or however much Ethereum, or however much XRP, right?
Where anyone that wants to join the crypto treasure quest can send like in a little bit,
and what they get for that is a clue, right? And maybe the first clue is just a website, right?
Because that's how you would do it. That's how we you would unify the teams.
That's also how you get people paid out, and that's how you get people to collaborate across
the world, even. Right, which is also a great feature because that makes them have to communicate on
social media and all these things, right? Because if you have no friends that are in Austin, Texas,
for instance, and that's where one of the codes is, right? Well, then the only move you have
is to start getting on social media, on Facebook, on everything you got, if you want to win,
to find someone that's in Austin, Texas, right? But like, so yeah, so you might be like, hey,
you buy in for a little bit, which makes the the treasure go even more because that's what
you could have is anyone that buys a clue for the for the treasure or wants to get a hidden website
or whatever can can buy in. So the more people that are buying in and participating,
the treasure grows more and more and. And so the way that it would work is as you add
more people to your team. Like let's say I start by myself, and I'm like, oh shit, I'm in Salem,
Massachusetts, huzzah! And I go in and I I order the Satoshi Sprinkle because I unlock that,
and then I realize that oh yeah, the number that it's going to print out on my receipt.
Is the number that I've been looking for for you know crypto treasurequest.io?
So I go to crypto treasurequest.io. I put in the secret poem to unlock the the the the portal,
and then I look at the word on my receipt or the number on my receipt. I put it in, and it says,
"Boom! Congratulations!" The first word is chimney. Do you know anyone in Austin?
Surely they've got something cooking. If you you write like some encoded thing, and they go,
"Oh shit!" Now I need to. Find someone in Austin. So now, what do I do? Well, I have the first word,
but I need the second. So what I can do is, let's say my friend Gold Rush lives in Austin. So I say,
hey, bro, there's a pizza shop in Austin. I need you to go there and get another word. And he says,
that's cool, man. But what's in it for me? I say, hey, bro, if we get all these words together,
we there's one Bitcoin. That's a hundred and eighteen thousand dollars right now.
Plus anyone else that joins this treasure quest, right? And he goes, fucking bet. Right? How do you?
How are you going to pay me? I say, all right. Well, if we solve it, it divides the airdrop,
whatever's in the treasure quest wallet, between all of the the receive addresses
on your treasure team. So you can do it solo or as a team. So if I wanted to team up with him
because he's in Austin, the only way that I get the next seed phrase is if he goes and does it.
I say, great. Here's my smart contract. Add your receive address. You are officially part
of my treasure team. So then, now what I forfeited. Is 100% of the Bitcoin right now?
I've split the treasure two ways, but now I have a team member in Austin.
So anyone else that isn't willing to do that doesn't get to move forward in the quest, right?
So suddenly, like, like I realize I'm probably not going to get any fucking treasure
if I don't do that, right? So it's so beautiful and cool because it it creates an organic osmosis
for for participation and even novel creativity, and then eventually over the course of time,
you can have Multiple like elite treasure hunting teams, right? On the third or the fourth quest,
where you've got five or six people that are like just really good and like the quests, you know,
and crack them together, and and and so yeah, it's really cool, you know.
So you'll be able to have people that are complete strangers. That will be able to participate.
We'll be able to to like help the teams move forward. And the way that they get paid is, you know,
you're not going to go to the to the pizza shop and help them get the next word, right?
Unless you get paid, and you get minted in, locked into the contract as soon as you give them
a receive address, right? So, so it's it's so cool. So, really, on the technical side,
all we really need is a smart contract interface that allows people to put in receive addresses,
so that everyone that has the receive address, like has the receive address added, um,
gets an equal share of the treasure quest, right? So then the other part of the contract is like
basically like you know. There would be a website that would you would put the twenty four words in,
and then you would put in like like an ADA handle with a bunch of sub handles is probably the tech
of how you would do it. Actually, that's exactly how you'd do it. You'd mint an ADA handle for your
for your team. Then you'd have you'd add people with the sub handles, and then
at the treasure quest website, it would be enter your your team's receive address for the treasure.
So you put it in, and it goes great. So the first one to put in these twenty-four words,
and you'll have a choice. Enter the twenty-four words. The first team that puts
the correct twenty-four words in the correct order, boom, initiates a send contract
to that treasure team's address, and everyone that was added to that treasure team gets paid out
an equal portion. So does that kind of make sense, Iommi? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Does does. Thank you,
C.K. For all of that. I have to have a question. What's to stop if if you're on a team that has 23
of the 24 words? What's to stop somebody from just using those to predict the 24th word
and then take the whole pot? Well, that's where, right? It starts to become a thing.
That's where the folks that are creating the treasure quest really need to be savvy about that,
and they need to think about what is the likely time lag. What are because that's the one
of the things that the the creators are going to have. Cause right,
like there could like I actually envision what I would really love is for there to be a step
where like on the third step you unlock a thing, you go to a website, and then you have to put in
like a phone number. Right, and then you get a creepy voicemail from some like you know someone
that's like muttering numbers and shit, and then gives you another website. Right,
like so it'll be really fun, bro. So there's gonna be like these these gaps, right?
These air gaps in like how you actually go along the quest because I want it to be like
Da Vinci Code, right? If you read those books, where Robert Langdon is wandering around
these things, and there's sometimes bad guys that are trying to foil the quest. Oh,
you're trapped in the Vatican Library, and there's not enough air. And you know all this kind
of shit, you know. So you're right. I think, but so that's going to. I think what you call is like
a Pokemon Go style app, you know, where you can like collect tokens and stuff along the way as well,
right? Oh, a hundred percent. I mean, I reached out to Sebastian months ago with my zombie idea.
So I've got one zombie idea that would incentivize stake pool migration
and support a single single stake pool operators, but the other one. Imagine how fun it would be at
Rare Evo to have okay everyone that wants to participate, you're now part of the zombie fest.
So what it does is everyone that enrolls by a certain cutoff time is you know you randomize
da da da da and it initiates with 90% survivors, 10% zombies, right? And then you have
so many hit points and whatnot, and then you can. Buy upgrades. You can buy armor.
You can buy shotgun. You can buy all these things, and then depending on your mobile device,
because it'll be tethered to your point, Pokemon Go. Depending on who you interface with,
and your proximity, and whether they were a zombie, a human, and like their level and their stats
and their equipment will will probabilistically determine whether they get bit
and are turned into a zombie or they stay a survivor, right? And if they if they have certain stats,
they might even get an alert on their phone where it's like, oh shit, you have 60 real world minutes
to like figure out like a like a fix, cauterize the wound, chop off the limb.
Like it'll be all these gamified moves that you can do. Right, and then at the end
of this conference, right, so you can have that's part of the zombie app is you could set it
where it might be a team building exercise. You could even have a university in the same way that
Facebook launched at universities, just rating hot people. You can have people do that
where they launch zombie games, right? And of course, it's going to cause chaos in schools
because everyone's going to be playing the zombie game. But yeah, bro, I mean,
these are the kinds of things where when I say when my I'm actually not going to say Naomi's space
because she's got a different energy here, but like in that other space, Andrew,
when I say when my mouth's moving and you know folks making making those bees, that's what it is,
bro. Uh, but we cook this together and uh and that's how we do. But yeah, bro, I think that.
That Pokemon Go integration is very. There's so much value there, bro. Where suddenly, like, cause,
dude, then when you go to the groceries every week, literally, you could have small.
Cause you know how people have like Facebook groups, so they have like their local neighborhood
and shit. You could literally have the zombie game at your local Trader Joe's, where it's like,
oh my god, like I'm in a Trader Joe's zombie group, and who knew, right?
So then that's a way to also meet new friends, cause you find out who bit you
through the zombie game when you were shopping for oranges on Tuesday, right? So there's so many,
so much of the shit, bro. Where I'm built for this, blockchain's built for this.
This is that that you know, man, we're gonna win, bro. Can I? Can I bring up something to what
Andrew said a few minutes ago? Please do, bro. Please do. Yeah, I think so. Apologies, I didn't.
I didn't quite get everything that CK was saying. I was. Coding a little bit in the back,
but I heard Andrew's question, which made me perk up, and it sounded like you were questioning
some idea that I think CK mentioned about recovering, creating a game around a number
of seed phrases, and then the potential threat of of reducing the guessability of the entire phrase.
If you have say twenty three, you only need to you only need to guess the final word.
I think there may be a solution to this, depending on what you're okay with
and how you set your game up. Give me a sec. I think you would you could probably hear
you could probably expect a cryptographer or somebody who's more experienced in cryptography
than I am because I'm not that they might recommend something like Shamir's secrets
or Shamir's secret shares. I don't know if you guys know like threshold schemes or like key shares,
but you can take a key for some crypto system that's based off something like finite fields,
and you can given that key you can split it into any amount of shares.
Where if you recover a threat a certain threshold of those those shares, you can recreate the key.
So if you're okay with like these kind of arbitrary values, which are the key shares,
you could potentially turn them into words themselves. And if you like, you need a high number,
you could just up the amount of shares you split into. If you need to like go up above 23 or 24
or whatever it was. So yeah, I mean, maybe like if you get a technical person to look into this,
you could look into something like Shamir secrets. Sorry, my voice is getting raspy,
but I thought that was pretty interesting. Yeah. So you would basically shard the seed phrase
or something, right? Is what you're saying? You would kind of break it into a bunch of pieces
and spread them around. Different, you know. I'm not sure how you would collect them. Yeah.
So this this approach is kind of skipping the seed phrase. It's just taking
the the actual secret key that you derive from the the seed phrase, and then you would split that
instead. Um. Yeah. Given that it's it's something that's elliptic elliptic curve based,
you could just take that point. Um. And you would you would split this into n number of keys.
This on that. So then the game would be like. Um, you could have a like a a great amount of keys
that you could split this into if you're trying to make some sort of distributed like
Easter egg game, um, and as long as you're like okay with that, like splitting to a high amount, um,
where like if if as long as people um, what am I trying to say? If people get to the threshold,
then they can recreate the entire key, and you're okay with that, then like I think it would work.
But this is just based off a quick Google search. Like I just quickly searched.
Like I heard that question, and I quickly googled this. Are like Bitcoin keys?
Compatible with Shamir secret share. It seems like they are. So definitely something you could
we could you could refine a bit. But I think you could accomplish this with a technical person
if you find some if you find one. So like I would just scan a QR code that's kind of hovering in
the air on a Pokemon Go app, and it would just register that I found that shard or whatever, right?
Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. So or however it works, right? Yeah, exactly. Yeah,
so you would do this like splitting ahead of time. You'd you'd have this wallet or whatever.
You'd find it. You'd find it. What should I say? It's secret key, and then you'd find someone
who could develop this quick library or command to split it into n number of shares,
and then you would just hide those shares behind like a QR code. So yeah, that would work.
Yeah, I mean it's very very interesting, and I think you definitely. Yeah, shout out to Shamir.
You know, sharding and backups. Yeah, I I just think I think it's a bit of a different problem
because, but but a great point in general. I think because there's going to be unlike
classical cryptography being the the thing that that separates finding each word because each
of the words is going to be kind of sort of protected by geography as well as associated like
riddling that will then if they unlock the riddles it'll send them to like different websites
and and Where they they retrieve information and get the twenty four words one by one,
but but to to to Goldrusher's point, we could have a twenty fifth step be discovering the order,
so that it's even if you discover the twenty three unto the twenty fourth,
the twenty fifth riddle could be the the order in which they appear,
because because like I definitely see where your your your your head's at,
and I think that that model would be better if the goal was like.
Like a more persistent security mechanism, whereas like we want the seed phrase to be discoverable,
and I think just by yeah, I guess what I'm saying is that level of security isn't necessary
or even maybe desirable because it might make it more difficult for folks.
But that I think is what you're talking about. Really, maybe the you know I think for like
a a Pokemon Go depends on how many people are getting involved, right? Yeah, depends on
how many people you want to be. So if you want mass effect on this thing,
and you're going to build like an Apple, you know, like an app for a phone app for it,
like like a Pokemon Go app, and it's going to be like you're going to want as many people
to participate as possible, and so you're really going to want and as many businesses as well,
right? So you want these shards to be very, very many shards that people have to go out and get,
right? Like, um, so I don't know, man. I think for the mass effect, now maybe
for starters you could start it off the way that you're describing because it would be a small group
of people. But once you throw some marketing behind it, and you get more businesses on board,
you probably want to go over to the share, style of thing, right? And then that way you can get
more people involved, more groups, and then you're of course you want all the all the social media
to be integrated into the app, so that like when you find a shard, it broadcasts it and shit,
you know, that way it's more virality, more virality, right? And all of that. A hundred percent. Get
more people on board. A hundred percent. Like, I guess one of the models of like
the twenty-four word, you know, situation and and with geography is again,
it would allow you to say, hey, we've got twenty-four small businesses, right? And again,
the first one might be United States, but the next one international, right?
And so we know there's like the Cardano Hotel. There, there was a cafe someone posted about
called Satoshi, right? So there are so many small businesses internationally where you don't need
the eight billion things, like like like you you can and you like. Actually, you do want that,
I guess, and I guess that's just a different version of the treasure quest, you know.
So I guess what I'm saying is that's almost like a different kind of model where you could have one
where the balance it may not be like a full Bitcoin, right? It might be less.
It might not be a grand quest, but it could be like like a demi quest. It could be side quests.
Actually, that might be a great way to do that. That might be a great way to do that.
Is where you can have the main quest that kind of the world is following.
Where ideally it becomes a Da Vinci Code style quest that you have a bunch of very smart people all
around the world working together. Like because I want them to have to like basically travel around
the world, right? Like the idea of having to find the friend. Like like I talked about
how there is so Area Fifty One for folks that write like there's a place called Area Fifty One in
the United States. There's a small town called Rachel, Nevada, which is the smallest town
to Area 51. And by Rachel, Nevada is a small inn called the Little Ailey Inn. Okay,
and it's one of those things where there's fucking no one there. But if suddenly, right now,
we announced on like on Twitter that there is one Bitcoin. There's just a folded up piece of paper
with 24 words: the Little Ailey Inn. Like my brain goes immediately to like
the Steven Spielberg adventure, fucking Goonie style movie of all the the cars
suddenly you know all speeding towards the desert in America, right? And that.
That is different than like the Pokemon Go, but having the Pokemon Go flavor
where you could anonymize it, like that's also very fucking cool. So it's like, yeah,
you could have like the primary crypto crypto quest where there's these these these goals
in real space, but then yeah, like you could have an app. So I guess one of the cool things
about the crypto quest and the first thing is you don't need a a special app to do it.
You would need a special app to do the zombie game. Because that would use your your phone as a
it would use your geolocation right so that's how you know whether you're bit by a zombie or not.
Whereas like with the crypto treasure quest, you could launch it on Discord,
you could launch it on Twitter, you could launch it on whatever. You know what
you would want is like a hub right where you might launch the crypto quest in association
with Atrium. Callers and then some other thing, right? Like, um, like proof, right?
Like proof is making a cowboy protocol, right? So he says, uh, building cowboy protocol,
posting out progress and random thoughts. Well, okay, let me just say,
let's say he built another thing, cowboy protocol, that was like a Twitter, like a fucking,
you know what I mean? And and and we're like, oh, bro, we love what you're building. You're building
cool shit on Cardano. We're launching these crypto treasure quests, and just like many things,
right? Like you can have, you can choose to integrate it into your wallet or not.
Support Ada handle. It's like, bro, do you want to support a crypto treasure quest?
Because we're launching already with like. Ada Handle and Atrium and callers, right?
So we basically use those interfaces are like cardano native things because again,
the the the quest is in the information and then navigating to the different websites,
putting in the phone number, getting the creepy phone call, deciphering the riddles to find
the next word. But but I do love what you said there, proof, because you really need to
kind of open up a whole different kind of model for the treasure quests,
where instead of like moving to these 24 discrete locations, because in a way the fact
that they're geographically separated is part of the encryption, if you will.
Like the way to get the next one is to get to the. So basically, the only way to break it is
if someone's figured out to break Bitcoin, because the only people that would be able to exploit
it are the the people that know the seed phrase at the beginning. Which would be those
that create that, which would basically be me, you know. That I probably, you know, me,
and I don't know why I would. Yeah, you wouldn't want to have to trust,
and nor would people involved want to, you know, you know. You wouldn't want like like thousands
of people to know what the treasure was, right? But what I would probably do is, um, yeah,
like have have a couple people. Now that to your point, to your point there,
that could be a Shamir seed phrase, right? You might have the team that sets it up where we custody,
like the the the like we we create that seed phrase address based on some sharded thing,
because maybe like going forward, so that there is so like I don't have to always be involved.
Like I might be like cool, you know. I'll do the first couple or or whatever, you know.
But then yeah, like we can have a cool like little Shamir seed phrase backup for the folks that run
the treasure quest to be able to do that. They can also expand, and then then yeah,
then it moves in a a version that's more like your idea and kind of what what what what
Goldruss is talking about, like where if you did develop. Like a Pokemon Go style app
for the treasure quest, where yeah, now they're just cruising in real space.
But then that would be interesting, right? Because then, like, yeah, like
how do you randomize where those airdrops happen, and you know? But but yeah,
a lot of different different ways. Yeah, bro, thank you for the just great conversation.
It seems like businesses would buy in, you know, and then you attract people to their business
with the treasure hunt, right? So it's basically a bar crawl. Yeah, you have them register
the bar crawl meets treasure. Yeah, yeah. Then the the fees that the businesses pay to the
into the treasury of the treasure hunt, or what attract the customers to attract the rewards
points effectively. But in this case, the rewards points are Bitcoin. Right. So it's like basically,
well, the the businesses are rewarded in foot traffic, right? So let's say you're a pizza shop
or a coffee shop, and you're like, oh shit, there's this new social media sensation called
crypto treasure quests. Fuck yeah, sign me up. So they go, oh yeah, CK's
Coffee Shop in fucking Boston. We're now part of the crypto treasure quests, and so you know,
welcome. And what does that mean? Is yeah, maybe we take some photos or of our location or yeah,
geotag some you know whatever. Like there's all kinds of ways to where you could do that,
where you could geotag a part of the of the of the of your establishment where anyone with the app.
Has to basically go to those coordinates, right, to the geotag to unlock it, and then it shows,
yeah, you went to the coffee shop, and then boom, that's how the that's
why the coffee shop owner wants to be a part of it. Coffee shop owner like might even pay you
for that, quite frankly, right? They might go, fuck yeah, five dollars
a month to have people wandering in to collect a treasure, fucking whatever, yeah, you know, or free
or da da da. But yeah, hundred percent, bro. That that that is that's really cool.
A lot of ways with that. Well, think of it. Think of it as. I'm sorry. No, no, yeah, go go for it,
bro. You're doing the thing. Well, I was just kind of imagining the Monopoly game where you get
Monopoly pieces, right, at McDonald's. But in this case, it's like the little code at the bottom
of the receipt is one of these shards, and you don't know, like, which pool it's a shard for.
What you just enter the code on the website, right? And so it is literally we're recreating like
a reward scheme, but involving crypto. You know what I mean, bro? That is so dope.
That would be another way. Like what you just remind. Like what if there was like yeah a website
where you don't know the treasure that you're uncovering, but you have on the website. Yeah,
one of these treasures is 1.3 Bitcoin and accumulating. Because again,
people that also sign up for the crypto treasure quest, that download the app, that request hints,
you can microtransaction that, and all of their microtransactions, all of their hints go to
the treasury. You know what I mean? So yeah, man. Hey, we're just this is what Cardano newcomers is
about. And you could just win a coupon code for a free frosty. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah,
bro. Bro, we're unstoppable. This is how this is how the Bitcoin Maxies
are really hurting themselves. Is because these are the kind of conversations that they don't have
because they they're so quick to call shitcoiner right like as soon as you talk about
smart contracts literally they'll shut you up and look at all this value like they desperately need
people to give a fuck about Bitcoin but they're all they've got is bonds
and toxicity right like as their modus operandi now and again I it is getting way better like
and shout out to them because they know that they're being now they're they're they're like
oh we're being silly aren't we. It's actually not healthy for Bitcoin to be the only thing.
It's like, yeah, guys, duh. Do you really think it would be healthy to be trapped on on on on a ship
called capitalism that looks like the Titanic with BlackRock? Because I mean, if Max Kaiser
and Sailor got their way and Bitcoin was written into privilege and all that,
then then it's like that that's the only way to make Bitcoin a CBDC. Is say okay,
it's the only game in town. Core and Knots aren't going to update it, which means
Coinbase is going to know everyone that bought Bitcoin. They're going to know who owns what UTXOs.
BlackRock's always going to be able to outperform retail, so they're going to get more
and more of Bitcoin, and they fucking lose. Like that's so obviously what happens if you do what
Max Kaiser and Sailor wanted when Sailor was doing those those presentations, saying, "Oh,
these other ones won't be, they'll be securities, they won't be listed,
they'll never get spot products." And they did. Now he wasn't being honest. He was pub.
He was pumping his bags, bro. He was trying to. He was. He was. He was lobbying politicians
to pass laws that gave Bitcoin privilege. But what he doesn't understand is
that it fundamentally—that is the only way to make Bitcoin what it was not intended to be, right?
I guarantee you, Satoshi did not create Bitcoin to allow Saylor to be able to borrow at
zero percent interest, two billion dollars every week, right? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like,
there's a lot of like. Ironies here that are ignored, and again, they're they're inevitable.
And I'm not even saying that they're they're bad or wrong, but there's a lot here,
and I'm very bullish on the ways that crypto quest ideas like this are the obvious value adds to
Bitcoin. That is the education people need. That's the excitement people need.
The social engagement people need. The transaction fees people are always talking about.
How do we fill these blocks? This is how, guys, right? And then we talk about again
the bodega integrations with meme coin communities, because what meme coins should become are
fun teams, right? How many folks that are part of meme communities, Shiba Inu and Snec and Doge,
for instance, right? How many members of those communities like to watch boxing, right?
Canelo Alvarez and and Terence Crawford is going to be a huge event, right, on Netflix.
There is going to be so much money to be made on Bodega Cardano, and think about the ways that
these meme coin communities having fun, jabbing back and forth, talking shit leading up
to the fight, right? So suddenly, we're creating revenue for Bodega. We're creating revenue
for every meme coin. We're creating revenue, interest in the fight, right?
We're all these things where we're not taking food off anyone's table. We're creating more pie,
you know. So, so yeah, it's exciting stuff. Let's go, Wyoming. Thank you for having a cool space
for us to have these these discussions because this really is value creation, and it's exciting
and fun. Oh, my pleasure. Um, while you were talking, first off, um, you were talking too fast.
I was not really able to grab some some parts. You know, our our accents are different, right?
So I always try to I always try to strain my ears to to hear you correctly.
And I know sometimes same with you, you know, you you may find it difficult to understand what
I say sometimes too, right? So it's understandable. Um, um, another question I wanted to ask is
that um, this um, this um, challenge, this hunt, this this thing, is it international
or just in the U.S. Ideally, it would be international, right? Because I mean,
nothing's more fun than a global treasure quest. To me, it would just be about The logistics
of setting up the first treasure quest, like well, and I think because the like there's a first time
for everything. Now again, as we start tapping, like as we start actually planning it out,
it might just make sense to make it international. And in a perfect world,
I would love it to just launch international. And so part of me in my brain thinking U.S.
For the first one is. And when I say U.S., I mean the location of the 24 words, right?
But a team in Nigeria could win, right? Because look, if a team in Nigeria is better on social media
and they're discovering the clues, and they're like, "Hey guys, we need someone to go to Salem,
Massachusetts. Here's an address of a donut shop. We need you to order the Satoshi Sprinkle at
from 8 p.m. To midnight." Right, and then so then your team gets on social media. You say,
send us the receiver address. You're now on our team. They go, bet I'm on my way. Right,
and they go, boom. Here's the thing. They upload like a photo of the address to maybe the Discord.
Maybe it's at the website. Like all kinds of ways. Maybe the treasure quest teams
are going to keep information secret, public. Everyone's going to have
different ways that they want to share the information. But ideally, well,
there will be a central hub where teams can assemble and share, and they can have it be publicly.
Like you can have public teams and closed teams. Because what if you have one team
that's knocking it out of the park, that six phrases deep, and everyone else is three, right?
Or six words deep, and everyone else is three, like that. Good on them, right?
They may not want to let the world know for free what the other ones are, right? So,
so there's all kinds of stuff here. But yeah, so to your point, when I say U.S. Only,
I mean that's where the the the physical location where the adventurers will have to go to get
the seed phrase. And so for me, um, it's just it's like it's easier for me to imagine calling up
a bunch of U.S. Based businesses. True, that really that's really the only reason is
it would just be I think easier for me to go. Okay, cool. You're a business. You're your crypto.
Like for instance, there's um a bunch of it's funny. I just realized how fast I'm talking,
and like what you said. So first of all. I hear you and understand you like totally perfectly,
and um and it's totally understandable because there's many native English speakers
that um sometimes have at that problem because I do tend to get really excited and talk really fast,
and part of it is because I I'm just really excited and I want to get all the information out,
and I know it's sometimes a lot of information. Like I'll break down the difference
between a UTXO model and an accounts model, and it'll be like this,
and it's like fucking I like I think it's really cool, and I know that it does empower people
that like follow. Like, if you survive one of those five minute things from beginning to end
and understand it, you will leave going, "Oh fuck, that's a big difference between like Bitcoin
and Ethereum and Solana and shit." But yeah, like a lot of times I just go so fast.
So sorry for that. And but no, I I hear you perfectly fine. And so your criticism is,
or not criticism, your feedback is is totally like understandable, valid,
and a hundred percent legit, and totally yeah, yeah. But yeah, so. When I say the the U.S. Only,
I think now you understand what I mean. Is that it would only be where the clues are,
but everyone on the world could part could participate. But I think it would be really fun, though.
Like, and and I would I would want to see if it was possible. And as I think about it, actually now,
it actually probably is just as easy. Because how cool would it be for it to be like the first hint
is in, or the first words in Japan, then Nigeria, then New York, then Los Angeles, then Argentina?
You know, like that would be really fucking cool. And that is the goal, you know. And ideally,
at each one, it would be like a different kind of quest. Like one of the things that I liked about
like Da Vinci Code, for instance, it was a book about a guy you know discovering secrets.
Is you learn cool history, you know. So like literally, the people that maybe discover
the donut shop that unlock the website to get the next clue, maybe that just gets them to a riddle
where they have to look at an old piece of art. And figure out the year that a painter
painted something, and then who he dedicated it to, right? Like, there's a famous saying
or a famous story about Vincent Van Gogh cutting off his ear, right? Like,
but for for a woman because he was, yeah, he like wanted to gift a woman,
and he was kind of in a weird way. What was that woman's name, right? So that might
that there could be like like that's a good like example of maybe. A quest, right? First,
you got to get the donut shop. The donut shop allows you to unlock the thing on the website
where it asks you in riddles to figure out a painting by Van Gogh that'll that's going to make
you figure out, oh shit, like who did he fall in love with to have him cut off his ear
and what was her name. And if you get all that right, so basically the team
in Nigeria is going to need someone that knows the donut shop in Salem, right?
But once they get that, they just unlock information for their treasure team. Or if they're a solo,
then they unlock it for themselves. Right, so then they got to go figure out the Da Vinci Code
thing, and then at the end of that, once they discover the woman's name,
they put the name in the website, and then boom, it's congratulations. The first word is chimney,
right? And then they'll get the next little nugget that'll be okay. Now, like,
what's the next donut shop, right? Is it you know, is it in Japan? Is it Nigeria? Da da da. So.
So yeah, now after having this conversation with you, you're making me reframe my expectation
that maybe it does make sense to just default think about it as a global for the first one
because that would be more fun. But yeah, regardless of where the clues
and being like in real space, everyone around the world will have the opportunity to participate.
Basically, the real space elements are going to be just like the initial unlock. You know,
it's going to be a way to do an initial unlock and to help small businesses get like foot traffic,
marketing, and show the real world use case, right? Because we're showing the ways
where we can use blockchain and these cool like digital, you know, borderless, decentralized,
free communications and tools to um to influence real life. You know, and so so yeah,
it's it's cool. It's like shades of Bitcoin Pizza and and and all the it's um yeah all the pieces.
All right. Um, thank you, CK, for sharing just beautiful idea with us. Um, that's awesome. Um,
before I move to something I want to talk about, I don't know if any other person have question
for CK concerning the idea he shared just now. Okay, I guess nobody. All right, thank you. Um, okay,
before I talk about the main um something, let me talk about this first. Um,
this um rare evil event. Is this like a cardinal? Is like a global cardinal event,
or is for other blockchains as well? I don't know. They uh, I don't represent them in any way,
but I do know that Rare Evo uh is specific. That a specific event is in Las Vegas, uh,
and it is a cross chain event. I mean, there or multi chain event, or however you want to say that.
It's uh, it's a blockchain blockchain in general uh event, right? So there are.
It's not just Cardano. There are other chains there. I think V Chain. Some V Chain folks
will be there, and I couldn't sit here and name them all, but there are definitely folks
from other chains. Oh, oh, great! Oh, thank you so much for that. I saw. No, they do. They do
rare socials in other locations, and they do other rare events around the world and things.
So they do host events in other places, but specifically Rare Evo is the one that happens in
Las Vegas. And to answer your question, like I said, it is cross chain
or whatever you want to say that. Okay, all right. Thank you, the graduate, for for that.
I I thought it was actually um a cardinal thing, like a cardinal event before. Okay. Thank you. Um.
Yup. Um. I wanted to ask about um. I wanted to ask about catalysts. Um. Someone told me I don't know
how to read it. Someone said that. Um. Oh my God, I forgot. I wanted to ask. Okay.
Someone said that. Um. Okay. Let me put it like this. Catalyst launched already.
F fourteen is already launched already, and I heard that it is actually not fully launched. That um,
they still need approval from D reps. I don't know. Is that true? Uh, yeah,
I think they might be uh showing off their their new website and stuff,
but I I think it's also true that their funding has not act exactly been approved through
the treasury uh withdrawal process. So yeah, talk to your D reps if you want them to go vote
for the catalyst budget, uh, and uh make sure that they vote the way you want them to vote. Oh,
okay, okay. Thank you for for that. I really appreciate. Um, I was hoping that um,
if the reps are done voting for the catalyst, I was hoping that I'll be having a session
with community members or anybody that is actually going to. Um, put the proposal there.
Maybe we'll be having, um, I don't know what to call it, but, um, I'll be having them,
and they'll be, um, shilling or they will be telling us about, um, the project they are proposing,
there. So that is what I'm actually looking at, and I don't know if any of you have any proposal
you'll be submitting at F fourteen. In case you have, um, we can actually, um.
Book a session so we can have you on board. Then you tell us about what you are submitting for
efforting, the idea, you know, all of that. And yeah, that is what I wanted to say.
So in case you have any idea you will be proposing, can book a session so I can have you on board.
Then talk about the project or the idea you will be submitting. Do you have Do you have a tweet
that says that something I can retweet for you? Okay, thank you so much.
I would create a post about that so. I really appreciate that. Thank you, Godrush. Okay. Um, I see.
Apologies. I see Longman. Oh my God, so sorry. I saw you since, and I see, um, Invictus. Apologies
if I did not pronounce that correctly. Um, thanks for joining the space. Um, this is
Kaduna Commercial Press Space. Um, it's always happening on Thursdays and Sundays,
nine thirty p.m. UTC. Yep, it's just a space for us to come together as one big family to talk about
um, Cardano and you know what is going on in the ecosystem. You connect with people, um,
not just Cardano. Even though it's some other chains, you can as long as it is um, um, I don't know.
As long as the information will be helpful, yeah, it's okay to share. Uh, okay, proof partner. Yeah,
I I had a question uh for CK. Okay. Yeah, bro. Did you change your? Did you change
your PFP mid call? No, no. But I did change it, like an hour ago or something.
A friend was a friend was giving me a hard time, and so yeah, we were just playing. Yeah. Okay,
so it must my yeah my Twitter must have just caught up to it. Okay, that's it.
And this this is a midnight reference, right? Uh, I mean, could be. It could be. It's um yeah,
it could be. Okay. Okay. All right. Cool. Cool. Yeah. Thanks. Yeah, I think my phone just caught up
a bit late. So it like for me, it just like showed you switching mid call, and I was like, "Oh,
that's interesting." Just curious. Thanks. Proof partner, are you are you also um in the US? I am.
Yes. Oh, cause you talk, uh, you don't talk fast. Oh yeah,
no Americans don't talk very fast today. Yeah, I'm sure I gave it away with my accent. Oh.
That's nice. Okay. Um, I don't know if anybody have. Uh.
Um. What was it called? Last word before we land up the space.
You know, I am. I am grateful for the time that you that you that you've afforded me,
and again for sharing these spaces, these rooms. They're recorded, and again,
I think the the the narrative of what what Cardano was building is going to be really really big.
And so you never know the people that are going to maybe be listening to these materials,
the AI that's going to be combing through the stuff, going, "Oh wow, Cardano suddenly matters.
" What is all the data that exists on Cardano? So the fact that you're out here, you know,
putting this this information out there and this data out there for people and LLMs and AI
and whatnot to come, it's it's super super important, and so excited for what's to come for Cardano.
So thank you for for having me, spaces, Naomi, and thank you for having me up. Thank you so much,
CK. Thank you for always being supportive, and thanks for always joining the space. Um. Thank you,
everybody. Thank you, um, the Gold Rush. Thank you, Proof Partner. Thank you, Longman,
and thank you Invictus for joining today. Um. In fact, I'm honored. Okay. Yeah, I'm honored
because despite uh all of this uh you know I know I have okay I have 28 followers.
Oh my God. In fact, when I wanted to hold the space today, I was I was not motivated because I lost
my other accountant. I was just what's the point, you know? I was just I was just demotivated.
But I just remembered I've already started this already, so why should I just stop?
Let me just continue. And also because I have people that always come to support me,
people like Sir Lord, people like Proof Partner, people like the Golders, T K Longman, Ginny. Um
and some other persons. So okay, I had to just let me just continue this. Thank you guys,
I really appreciate. Thank you so much. How many did you have on your other account?
What do you say? How many followers did you have on your your old account? Okay,
I had um I think I had about three hundred or something. Um. Oh yeah,
you'll you'll get there no time. Yeah, yeah. Because initially, I I'm not actually an X fan.
I don't use X. I just had the account. I just created it. Then this year, when I joined,
when I started joining Cardano XPCs and all of that, then oh, I be like, oh,
I think X is now interesting because I don't use it before. I I had twenty followers this year.
Then it grew to like three hundred or something. So, um, now it got suspended.
I have to start all over again. Oh my god. Okay. Um, I have Unkopi here. Hi Unkopi.
Thanks for joining the space. Um. This is Kadada. No newcomer support space. We talk.
We talk about Kadada. We talk about any useful information, and also we connect with ourselves.
But we're about to run out of the space, anyways. Ah, so thanks for joining.
This is a recorded space. Can always go back to listen to us to the space again if you want to.
Okay, guys. Since we do not have anything to say again, I guess. We have to call it a day,
and I'll be saying, see you guys on Thursday, hopefully, nine thirty p.m. UTC if you join,
and to do have a good a good evening, good afternoon. I don't know what the time is over there,
but this is already twelve a.m. Right here. This is Monday already. We are in Monday already here.
Okay, so guys, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
Enjoy yourself. Bye. Bye. Take care. Take care, super partner.
