Hi, Ahmed. Your pro your profile picture is blank, or is network that showing is blank?
Showing black here. I don't know. Maybe the network that is making it show like that.
Ah. Ah, why? Senior Dev, why? I felt like that. Sorry, I'm currently on transit.
I just said I should join. Okay, okay. Yeah, thank you. It's it's it's black, oh. I'll change.
Senior Dev. Thanks for joining. Yeah. Hmm. Am on. I'm waiting for more people to join, oh. Yeah.
They used to play music before, now I didn't hear anyone when I came in. Yeah, is all your music?
When you joined? I know, I know you. Ah, it was playing. Oh, it was when I omitted myself
that I stopped. Okay. Hmm. I hope you're enjoying your day. Yeah, of course. Right. Hmm. You joined.
You joined the Kimbalabs um meeting today, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw that you joined late.
You joined late. Yeah, I meant to join them on Discord. Didn't have the meeting on Discord. Yes,
they had it on Discord. Oh, oh, oh! I thought they did not have it again. Was it?
Was it a long call? Yeah, we stayed till like past four. Oh, that's. Everybody was talking about
their projects and what next, blah blah blah. Were you able to talk about yours? Yeah,
I did a little bit talking. Did Asha and you man talk about their own too? I think they did,
but I was not there. I I kind of joined it. Basically, everybody had an opportunity
to just talk about what they feel, and you know, and they were even talking about the way forward
for open spaces from next month. Yeah, man, I can't wait for that open spaces. I've missed it.
I'm telling you, like, it was not like a part of, you know. You just be looking forward
to three thirty, almost places. Yeah, yeah. Even till now, my alarm still rings for almost places.
I set an alarm for it. Hi, boss. Hi. I think it's around mid August they want to start. Yeah,
I think from second week also. Okay. Are you on bike or you are inside bus? Okay,
I've misted himself. Musa, I'm excited. Okay, okay. Oh, okay, okay, okay,
okay. Yeah, it's okay. Musa, you did now. Gidion, I'm not there.
I'm tired. I want to hear you people's voice. So, you people should save the mic.
Ah. I want to hear your voices. I want to hear, yeah, yeah, your voices. Ah,
I thought I sent Mike to Musa. Musa cancelled it. I don't even know. Sir. Yeah, understand. Big man.
Baller. Respecting. Hi, are you me can hear me? Yes, yes, I can hear you, big man. Okay,
because I hi, can you hear me? Because that you are saying, I don't think you are talking to me.
So can you hear me? Let's talk now. That talk is not for me. So let's talk. Like let me do Musa.
Let's you and Musa read one talk now. The one you be saying this. Big man, big man, Musa, big man,
God. Ahmed on mute. Answer her. Ahmed on mute. Give you on. Who did I mean? He's talking to you.
What's up? By your longest time you did. I just checked. Didn't like to like say hi and everything.
Cause yeah. And um, I think um, actually I will hit you up regarding something, Sha. So yeah,
but not now. Maybe. Next month or something. How you doing? Is everything? I've I've okay.
I've missed your your voice and your whining. No, you know I've whined very well. No, okay.
I don't stop him. I don't stop him because they don't carry you to prison because of whine.
Just come up for sale because of whining. So make them not try me again. Yeah. I see.
I swear that this place is that you don't whine well. Where? No. I say you go prison. No, I do.
I go whine. They pass my power. The person comes to me now before you know for court
and they can't judge case. Where you are? Just they go like this. They go to the prison. How far?
Where you are in town? Are you in Lagos? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm in Lagos. Oh, you okay?
I'm going on business. Are you in Lagos? I've been in Lagos almost two months now. Ah ah,
you relocated? Kind of, yeah. Still working towards that and then. Ah ah, wow. Ah ah.
But you went north before, Nalli. What? I said you went north before. Yeah yeah yeah.
Or did you come for service? No no no no no. Service, service why? No, I just come to chill out,
chill out, and I work on some things, you know. Oh, oh! Have you graduated? You know,
I've been asking this question from you from public spaces for years now. Iomi,
you should know that very well more than any other person. So yeah.
And now I don't even I don't always remember your response. I feel like you always dodge
that question. That's what I'm trying to like um like bring your attention to.
I've always been dodging this question on public spaces here, and that is I don't talk about
the public space. So yeah, sorry for that. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I get it. Like us,
like this. Ah. All those kind things. We are the talk everywhere. No, it's not bad though. It's not.
I'm not saying it's bad, but yeah, there are like some, you know, there are some ugly part of my.
Except, don't worry about that, shall we? Maybe we'll meet. We'll meet. Yeah. No, no. I get it.
I get it. Yeah, I'm fine though. I'm pushing. I'm pushing. I get far updates from you like this.
Which one is how far? What's up with you? See you now. Only my mumbo not putting for trouble.
What's up with you? I am. What's up? What's up? Yeah, actually, I don't know when I'll,
cause I've been like, not really away from Twitter like that, like that, yeah, bro.
I've been away for quite some times now from Canada completely. So yeah,
but that's something I think. Uh, I was actually thinking like, I'm working on,
and I just thought of you. I was like, okay, yeah, I was going to like hit you up maybe one of
these days, but yeah, I'll be starting. If I, I beg, make you not hit me up to hit me up now. Ah,
long man, don't come. My number one supporter, bad guy, come and support me. Long man, I beg you,
this guy, Mike. It's been, it's been a while. It's been a while. So I mean, when um, okay. Wait,
before you ask me what you want to ask me, I have a question for you. Bro, what the fuck is that?
Oh yeah, let's go, let's go. Hit me, I. Shaggy, hit me. Befool me. You said you've been away
from the Kaduna um community for a while. What happened? Hi, Mary. What happened? Oh,
you like I'm just trying. Like I've been away completely from like let me say
social media completely, right? WhatsApp, WhatsApp, whatever it is, IG, and every that stuff.
So nothing special. I'm just trying to like um explore another direction of my life and the rest.
Nothing special. I'm still like coming up, like at least spending maybe thirty minutes
on social media. There, but yeah, just trying to explore another side of my life and the rest.
Nothing special, nothing. Unaware girl life, they always try to strategize. We can be unaware girl.
We this girl. We long man, I beg on mute on mute. Long man on mute. Because this girl get flirts.
No raise hand, just on you. They talk, cause like this at this point. No,
all all all protocol duly observed. Don't worry. Just raise it. Just drop your hand and move.
You know the thing is that I have to show courtesy, or else. That is what I'm saying.
On your behalf, all protocol has been duly observed before you even came in. Like when I saw you,
I was like, oh, then don't don't understated. Longman is here for me, so to save my life.
So don't don't observe anything again. What's up, Longman? Longest time.
G M G M everybody ah this weather is so so crazy. What is happening to the weather? In the Pluto?
Which state? Which country? Which which city? Which ecosystem are you in? Correctly? Wait wait wait.
Which ecosystem? Where are you? Let's come back to you because you don't have mentioned
where are you. I am in Lagos, Nigeria. We are both in the same place. We are both in the same place.
Island or mainland? First question. Second question. Sorry. Mainland. Okay. I don't know if it is.
I don't know how the weather over there is. Okay. Then I have nothing to say to that. I mean,
I'm even happy because I mean, the there's no much flood nowadays. I don't know what's your flood,
rich islander. Your flood, rich islander. They play my brother. I go buy. I go buy. I go buy jet.
I go buy skin jet now. Very very soon, cause. But I I also heard that also heard that those
in Ireland their water is so terrible. I mean, water from the bore or water from the well.
Yellow water, yellow water. At this point, I'm not like we are not even pumping water
from our district. We are buying water direct. We are buying water at this point. Yeah,
all you guys, you guys should just come to the mainland so that we can. No, bro. Sorry, sorry,
sorry, sorry. We cannot do that, man. We cannot do that. Sorry. We just manage you guys. Bro,
just like pity you guys. I'm I'm I'm sorry, man. We don't do that here. We die here. It's a court.
Everybody here. Everybody here is a courtier. So we die here. We don't join them.
We don't join them. One of the reason why I don't even like going out during this rainy season one
because the floor is always slippery. To be honest, I think that's actually discouraged me of going
out. Like you know, like bro, yesterday on Tuesday I was outside, man. I came back
and I was hitting myself. So yeah, actually don't love going out when it's
kind of you know wet outside there. Yeah. Ayomi, what do you have for us, please? Ayomi,
do give away for us. As as usual, I always have Cardinal for you guys. I always like if I elbow you.
If I elbow you, how much you Kadano pay me to talk about Kadano? Please,
hope this is not recording space. Wait, hope this is not recording space. I am I am come come come.
You don't class. Hold on. This is wait. This is. I am I am I am come come come. Don't forget,
I signed about two contracts with Kadano. Please, hope this is not recording space.
My name is my name is Long Man. I am sugar. Just in case though. Yeah. Oh my. Actually,
you people that are on this space currently now, you people already used to Cardano.
The newcomers that are onboarded, I'm expecting them to join. They've not joined. So, um,
I wanted to like just, cause I created some trades, so I just wanted to like share with them.
Why are you copying me to create trades? I'm 100% sure you're copying me to create trades.
I'm 100% sure. Like, okay, 99.999% sure. Oh, there is a privilege. There is a privilege to copy you
then. What? I said it. It is a privilege then to copy you. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's it's an honor at least. I have something doing at somewhere. It's one of myself, you know.
I don't want to say, but yeah, it's good. Yeah. So what's up? Maybe you are still you are still
in the um civ um. Is the MC your civics? Are you still there? I did civics now.
Get to I think I still have like um EA plus contracts with them. Yeah. Oh,
is it the one that you did that time or the last? Um, I did. I my civic disting was twenty twenty
five November and it's eighteen months contract. So yeah, I'm still on it. Oh, oh, okay, okay.
Three months since November, so count it now. So I'm I'll be finish. I think
I'll be terminating that twenty twenty seven and then hopefully I'm back on something special again.
Cause from now, since from that twenty twenty seven, everything is now going to be two two years
now, twenty four months. Yes, yeah, civics, right? Yeah, governance, civics, transparency.
That's where we are. I told you that it should be also governance spaces. Let's talk about.
That's what I'm saying. I I said I I had something in mind that I was going to discuss.
Which I told you earlier in this space that I had something in mind I was going to discuss with you.
It's actually one of those things, yeah. So I'll hit you up maybe from during the weekends though.
I'll be free during the weekend. I'll hit you up in your DM or call. Okay, no wala.
So what do you have for for me like this, Musa? Alpha, I swear to I swear to God, I swear to God,
I get gari. I swear to God, I get gari. I and sugar and kuli and granules. I swear. See.
More for God that office. I like him. I go collect anita. But number one thing,
they say I get either and do. Make I make I call him. I thought they said either is the either
is dead now years ago. Oh. Ah, only if you wait under you, you get him. He, baba,
you get mine though. Baba, you try oh. You walk with ghosts. Yes, so. Eh, no, I beg. Now,
you know earlier, if you, if you, if I can, if I want to take you back now earlier,
I will just tell you that I told you earlier that I now only my mama born, so I defend my life.
So you, you the walk with ghosts. Me now only my mama born. I know one wahala. I beg you, get why?
Nah, the way he talks, eh, he don't die. Nah, he that they use pay every month.
I've been not paying. Swear, say I don't claim one. You don't claim with me.
Just you say na in the they just pay me, but swear say as the days I'm paying, I don't claim,
I don't like claim them like this. Na you go to the swear now? I don't get the swear. No,
na you come say they they just pay me, I seems like you know. So fine, as the days I'm paying,
I never even like choose my hand touch up. This beginning of payments, it just there. Ah,
Otipa Fuka. Otipari, Otipari. Wait, is it not recorded? Um, ah. It's not recorded.
It's not recorded. Okay, okay. Well, just they play my phone. No, well, it's not recorded,
so you can you can see anything anyhow. All right, all right. Before we talk to one of
the Nigerian Arabs, an intersex member, you know, I think, I think I should remind you all
that there is this anonymous section in every space, right? Sweet to God, bro. God bless.
We who knows now. Um, I mean, no, no choke talk for my mouth. No being for trouble for this space
again. Why? Why? I'm trying to be. I'm trying to play saving the Canada ecosystem. Now, please,
please. Let me tell you guys something. So, I join someone's space. So I,
it was so intentional for me that I had to join anonymously, so they would not know
that I actually joined, because they were saying that please join, please join.
I'm not saying that I'm not joining. I'm busy. Meanwhile, I already joined though. But in DM,
I was acting as if I'm not available. Cause we took out the talk. Ah, oh my dear,
I am in cell phone. She says no one just because I have too much joy. This one, that one.
They call the talk. They call one one of them. They call say ah oh my oh very long one
you are calling down on this. You know they call the insult. So as the guy that insulted me
for the space gave me a year anonymously, as no say as they follow me talk, one of them,
one of the speakers, they they my DM, they follow me talk too. So as they follow me talk,
when did they talk for the space? I call they type and give them. He call they say, eh, is
that me here? Is that me here? So someone said that ah, maybe she has joined um the space
through the anonymous session. That's her. Oh my god! You guys said why would I do that?
I said why would I not do that? Oh yeah, let me ring the bell for you. Let me ring the bell for you.
Time up. I think we have another sofa in the house, so yeah, one of um another.
One of another another civic member, so time of myomi for you, so let's welcome Nana Sofo,
a civic member from if I'm not mistaken Ghana. So yeah, Africa, we are still like you know clapping.
So yeah, Nana Sofo, welcome. Hi Nana, Nana is a sweet guy. How did you get to know that Nana Sofo is
a sweet guy? Please, what? I've seen Nana now. I've seen him before now. Even if you've seen him,
like yes, have you not have you not seen me before? So why did why didn't you tell me I'm
a sweet guy? You. I saw you from afar. No no no, we met, we met. Don't forget,
we met in 2024 in um intersects um workshop somewhere in VI. Some sometimes like, don't forget that,
but we met. Yes, but it was from afar, like. Afar? We in the same room. You said afar,
like the same room. You said afar. How is it? Oh God, no. Oh yeah, were you able to recognize me?
Yes, I actually, of course, of course. Of course, of course. Don't forget that space.
I was even the one that I was I was even the one that told you months later that ah. Wait,
make a make a. You don't say that space be this. Make my tears no drop.
Ahen now I recognize you now. Ahen ahen ahen. This fine. You don't say that space be this.
If my tears. Yeah. So. Ghana, I hope you are doing good. Hope you are well.
Hope um Ghana is treating you fine. And I have Zayeh. Hi Zayeh. How you doing tonight?
Hope you are good. Hope the code is not too much for you. Let's have the chit chat,
and I'll be dropping by. Oh, it's 9 30 already. Yeah, okay. After Where do you go? Where do you go?
My baby, they call me. They play my sister. Ah. They play my sister. You know here when this guy
talks, this weather is not funny. You know here when this guy talks, this weather is not funny.
You know here that. Don't worry. The Lord has done this for you. Will do it for me.
The Lord has done it. Finally, finally. The Lord has done it finally, finally. Finally. Which one,
bit Lord? Come. Are you still working with Nextrange? Ah, I deal with next. We don't.
We don't rebrand now. Yeah, yeah. Next room. Next room. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. See the AJ.
And you're looking for a man. If I blow you, if I elbow you, if I elbow you. Ah,
why she's not gonna look for a man? The one we got don't give you for that. You never collect her.
You don't wear men choke. Wait. You don't you don't wear men choke. You see they look for man.
Ah ah now ah ah now. You know say we where they follow man walk like he always walk with men
where where. Now we know they get man. That's just the truth. Allahy Allahy.
How you go do wear men them day? You go talk say you no get man. I don't understand like
where is that coming from? Now we are now we are men day. You want consummate. Now we are men day.
You want consummate. We need we need to distinguish between business and pleasure.
Oh I yeah I I I I love
that I love that I love that. So my sister with all due respect focus on your.
Yo, yeah, it's actually nice speaking with you today. You when? I think.
Let me do Papa introduction. I think the only newcomer here in the carnival space is there.
So let me just quickly do introduction, and then just little little things like,
and then we go back to having fun. Unless they request for the mic, and if he has questions,
then we'll talk about it. Or if he wants to say something, then we'll talk about it. So guys, um.
Do the ladies and gentlemen? Oh, I'm the only lady here. So, gentlemen. Sorry for that. I'm sorry,
bro. I'm sorry for like posting there. It's crazy, like the quick switch. Oh,
I'm the only lady here. Right. So, my name is Ayomi, and I welcome you
to Cardano Newcomer Support XSpace Episode 87. We basically talk about Cardano in all ramifications.
We talk about Cardano. We connect with ourselves. We talk about the latest trend in the ecosystem.
We learn from OGs in the ecosystem. We basically talk about Cardano. That's just it.
And sometimes we can, I mean, not sometimes. We can always talk about some other things as long
as it is, you know, um, informative or educative or um, anyhow. But we don't want anything
that disrespect anyone. We don't bully on the space. We just make sure that um,
the space remains safe for everyone. So for anyone that is new here, um,
one of the things I tell people is to sign up to um Kadena Academy if you really want to learn about
Kadena or blockchain as a whole and things like that. You need you need some um what's
the English word? You need some prerequisite knowledge. Like you need to know some certain things
so that you can move forward and also be able to like relate with the latest trend and all. So
Kadena Academy is um one of the Um, few platforms I recommend to people to check out,
cause it the the the platform has been helpful for me as well. I learned a lot from there.
So you can always sign up on Cardano Academy, and I also created some some X threads this week.
I think just two. I created the one for the roadmap, Cardano roadmap, and the one for um the fact
that Cardano uses um um Cardano is a proof of stake blockchain. So I just wrote a little. Um,
write up on that as well. So anyone that wants to like understand some basic knowledge,
you can always go through the threads, or you sign up on Kadana Academy to learn more.
And one of the one of the things I like about all of these things is that I do even know
I do even need to know everything to even teach someone else. I don't even need to be perfect too
because I can always refer them to resources and people. I know people, the right people.
I can refer you to for tech technical stuff, you know, things like that.
So I welcome you once again, everyone. I can see Longman, Doncurrent, Musa, Ahmed, A.K. Nana Saffo,
Smigul. This is my first time seeing Smigul on this space, and Zay. Thank you all for being here.
Yeah. So who wants to grab the mic now? If it is in my village, they will clap
for they will clap for someone after giving speech. If it is my village,
but I don't know in your village. That guy is a bad guy for doing that for me. I love you for that.
Thank you, sir. Wait, wait, wait! We don't have claps. We don't have play that sound.
I thought you were the one, Musa. No, it's this guy. Um, don't, don't what? Something um,
don't current. Don't current. Yeah, that guy is a bad guy. Yeah, nice. He's a bad guy. Yeah,
he's a good guy. He knows what to do at the right time, so he did it and he killed it. Oh. You know,
I won't. I'm not going to bully you today, Dugit, because this um, on a good day,
this is a free space. But I'm not going to bully you for the fact that you're the only lady
in the house. But if at all, if at all, and if not at all, sir. But let's leave it there. Muswa,
you eh? I don't miss Tisha. What do we have? No talk that way, my babe. No, no talk that way,
my babe. No, no cost problem. Which of you don't miss? If you make statement, make them complete.
Like, make I don't miss you for the space. Hold on, hold on, hold on, Muswa and Ayomi.
You guys are doing something behind my back. Who is this again? See, I am.
You want to put me in trouble now? Look at it. Somebody suspecting us already.
If if I make statement, I have missed you in spaces, like in online spaces. Not I don't miss you.
If you say I don't miss you, bro, like bro, I think you say now only my mama born.
Now only my mama born. And are we doing it for kids? Answer this question.
I have a question for Ayomi. Ayomi, are you cheating on me? No. Bro, I don't cheat. I take
or beg you. Okay, okay, bro. Let me not say this on this place, yeah, but yeah, it's crazy. So, bro,
sorry, I take or beg you. Me and you, like a guy to guy, I beg. I don't know who be Ayomi.
This is my first time joining our space. Sorry to lie, permit to lie. So this is my first time
joining our space. So I don't, I don't know who Ayomi is. So. But but that's not what.
But that's not what you told me. I thought I thought I thought. Just know what I told you. Me
and you jam. Which one be you? Thought you thought you thought. You go thought thought
thought is now. Which one be you? Thought you thought you thought. Thought thought is
what what's up now. Toto, what's happened? Osa. So yeah, I think I have to run.
I am like eight minutes late for my meeting. So yeah, nice meeting you guys. Thank you, Osa.
All right, bye guys. Take care. Yeah. Oh God, Osa is a big case. Um. So we have five people.
Five people with the mic. So who wants to speak first? Or I should call names.
More that single that single go faster. We are just talk. We cannot say I don't talk. But meanwhile,
judging everybody. Oh, hope you guys are doing great. Like um, I I just like before this phase,
like I said, I was not. I was I've been busy guy, busy doing nothing actually. Um, but. Is a lie.
You've been busy making money, bro. If I don't make money, I suppose don't pay your bride price.
Since live long, my man, they do say I love you. I love you for your dear. I go just go,
try to pay your bride price. No, we are not by cho cho cho. Say you don't hear. Bye, bye, son, bye,
son. You don't say if you don't say, you go listener section like that, like that. No,
you don't mean anything, sir. That means you go come our our wedding, come the listing for for um
um remember section. I I on me I on me. See how you allow me, person the drug love of your life.
Is this is this our words we doing our stuffs? You say, no say, no show workings, Nana. Why?
They show workings. No fear, no fear. I I know the love you have for Islam. Ah ah,
this morning we're Ibo cap and Ibo outfit in the sing, give a singer. No, anything is possible.
Anything is possible. Just when it comes to Academy, just just just know that you should not have
any expectation. Like the day you think we are going to be professional,
is the day we stain your whites. But that's that's my. Well, it's actually nice to be here.
You guys should. Me, I'm not here before this Birongo, this B M market go finish.
I'll be dropping Bangga content so people on Kadano. But for now, I'm here to like learn.
I'm here as one of the newcomers that is here to like you know explore Kadano because was there
in Kadano at least Kadano gave me my first content gain the web three space as a whole.
So it's a lot, guys. And so, but you know. But blessed Tommy, um, I think the next person
to talk is blessed Tommy. He's one of the biggest barber, like jokes aside.
He's a he's a barber in real life, and he also bars people on spaces as well. Um,
if you find you that's people that likes barbering the most on spaces, yeah. But I'll drop it there.
Thank you. I told I told someone that in Web Three, you can be anything. You can even be a pastor.
Web Three pastor. Yeah, that's me. That's me, guys. That's me. You can be a Web Three barberist.
Anything. It. I mean, it can be anything. So hi, blessed. Tommy, Tommy. James, okay, blessed Tommy.

what of na same thing, so not really like that. Jj, everyone, ah, ada. Uh okay,
I am new to this place. I follow the current here, like I follow the current. Me go
and look it to this place, yeah. So I am new here, and I want to like I am a new viewer on Kadano,
yeah. So I want to know more about Kadano and yeah, that's it. That's one of the reason
why I'm here. Okay, ah, the person that spoke just now is blessed, right? Okay. Yeah, sure. Yeah,
yeah, blessed me. Okay, finger. We'll come back to that to that one later. Let me first. I don't.
I am not saying finger. I'm not saying finger. I'm saying finger. So I am not saying finger.
Like I don't know. I don't know if you get. I'm not saying finger. I'm not saying finger.
I mean finger. I'm not saying finger. You guys playing tired. Like do you get?
You guys playing tired. Well, before we go back to the the blazed fingers,
let us first of all talk about Cardano. And um, I think Smiggle also said that is also new, right?
Okay. Uh, I'm so happy to see you guys here, and I want to appreciate Donkor
and AK as well for being here, and to every other person that is here. I see Sam, Sammy as well. Hi,
Sammy. Thanks for being here, Pista, Toby. Thanks for being here. Um. So, if you,
if if you people check my timeline, you will see that I'm not. Um, I'm not really.
Like a typical Nigerian Web3 person, in the sense that if you check
most Nigerian Web3 enthusiasts' timeline, you would know that these people are actually into Web3.
You see their posts, like they kind of they create threads to promote projects, different projects,
and all. But mine is not really like that, and because. One of the things that this is
just a personal experience, just a personal opinion. It does not mean
that um I'm trying to like tell people here to like follow the same um method
or the same way I'm doing my thing. No, I'm just speaking from my own personal opinion. So
when I just got into a webgate, I see how a typical Nigerian webgate person do their stuff on X
and all. It's actually very beautiful. Like I like it, but that is not the kind of.
I don't really know how to explain myself, but I needed me personally. I just needed education, uh,
because I've actually come across a lot of people that are web design enthusiasts.
Like they claim on, you know, their bio. And I've had one or more conversations with a lot
of people, and I realized that most of us don't really have that basic knowledge of what
we are doing. But just sometimes people just do it just to get fast money
without understanding the you know brain behind, without understanding the foundation of all
of these things. And or, but for me, I wanted to like to just understand some basic things. So
when people ask me questions, I should be able to like answer some basic questions, even
though I don't know everything. But I should be able to know some things.
I should be able to know the technology behind these things at least a little, even not too much.
You understand? So, and the blockchain that actually aligns more with me is Cardano,
because on Cardano, what they do What the what Kadena is built upon is that the right way to put
the English is academic academic papers research you know all those kind of things
and people have actually insulted Kadena like ah these people they like all these academic things
too much they like this they like that too much and that actually aligns with me like we just
in Kadena they just they don't just you know um build things they don't just do things it's more
of research more of academic. Papers, more of you know all those kind of things,
and it aligns with me. So I started to learn, I started to see, and you will see that most people
would say that Kadano is not popular. Yes, you can always say that. People say
that a lot that is not popular, and I believe that the reason why all of these things is like this
sometimes is probably because of the long term vision of Kadano. I, the bull, um, welcome. So it's
because of the long term vision that Kadano is looking at. And at the end of the day,
I don't know if you guys heard this news of um um what was chain safe uh I think it's it's
Ethereum yes I think some weeks back they were talking about unchain governors unchain governors
that they were inserting cadano about now they they were they are now implementing it
on Ethereum too you know all of those things and all of these things actually align with me
so one thing I always tell people I'm saying all of these things because I just wanted
you to understand the importance of education if you are if you are ready to learn.
If you are ready to, you know, put effort in learning, then Cardano will be for you.
But if you are not ready to, you are not ready to learn. You are not
ready to like understand something. You might get frustrated and leave. Because, I mean,
most people say Cardano is for nerds. It's for this. It's for that. Blah blah blah. All of that. At
the end of the day, it all it it all falls back to education. That education is very very important.
So, um, one of the first things I tell people is that. If want to learn more,
if want to learn about Kadano, the first thing you need is create an account with Kadano Academy
and start taking courses. So as you are taking courses, make sure you also connect with people
in the ecosystem, contribute to projects. The more you are doing, the more you get to understand
the ecosystem better. The more you, the more you get to like, um, the more you get to
like understand how all of these things works because Because I remember I joined Cardano. Funny
how I just joined Cardano. I just joined Cardano in 2024. And was it 2024, 2023? I can't recall.
But I got active last year. It was last year I got active. So during my first few months in Cardano,
I don't know anything. Like I was rig there for those that understand Yoruba. I was rig there.
I don't know anything. So one of the few things I did was that after I joined Cardano,
related expenses, any expenses that has to do with Cardano, I would join.
And the funny thing is that most most of these cardinal guys are white people,
so the accent sometimes I don't understand what they are saying, but now I've improved.
I've been able to like you know relate with them better now. But before, man,
sometimes I I'll be so frustrated because I don't even know what they are saying.
They were too fast while they are speaking. I can't really know this accent thing and all. So,
but I was just joining spaces just to like listening and know what's going on.
So from joining spaces, I connected with different people. I was just connecting with people.
In the ecosystem, I was connecting with different cardinal projects. I was contributing to
different things. You see me everywhere, and doing something meaningful. I'm not just anywhere,
just anywhere. You see me doing something meaningful. So, the more I start to like relate with
people, the more I start to like contribute meaningfully to things. The more,
and the more I keep learning on Cardinal Academy, everything was was not making was not making sense
to me. I begin to understand. Okay, this is what they call this. This is how they call that.
And The fact that I was even able to like, you know, manage this um Calano Bounties project,
I was able to like relate with web three developers as well. So some technologies I was
able to understand it better, which I would I wouldn't have understood before,
but because I was you know relating with People relating with projects, relating with this,
everything was not like making sense to me. And oh, so I'm very sure that most of you are already
familiar with different chains already. Some people are already involved with maybe solar
or Ethereum or some other chains like that. I'm very sure that the fact that you have knowledge
in those chains, you'll be able to relate better with Cardano too because it's also just a chain.
But the only thing is that you just need to like understand the concept behind Cardano.
You just understand the technology behind Cardano. You understand, you know, all of those things,
and before you know it, you are good to go. And you don't even you don't even need to be
a developer. You don't need to be a developer to, you know. I'm not a developer.
I'm not a technical person. I'm just a non-technical person that is always willing to learn,
willing to connect with people, and know. So if you also like that, you enjoy Cardano,
and if you are, if you like to. Um, if if you are very bold, like you don't care,
you don't care about anybody, and whatever anybody says, you will talk.
Another thing about Kadano is that you are like you are free to maybe some other things too.
But I'm just speaking for Kadano. You are free to like express yourself.
Do you want to express yourself in terms of or what is going on in the ecosystem?
What is going on in this project? When people are when when people are talking about something,
you are free to contribute. You you can you can talk. It's a very decentralized. Community,
you can talk. There's nothing like oh, you cannot say this here, cannot say that. You, you, you,
you help in contributing to how the ecosystem will be shaped. It's the community
that is running Kadano. No, no one person is running Kadano. It's people that say oh, okay,
we love this, let us fund this, or we don't want this, we are not funding this. Okay,
this I want this to go. This now I want this. It's people that will vote. As long as you are an
either or, da, you can decide. You can make decisions for the ecosystem. Those vote.
You can you can give your rationale about something. You know, things like that. Yes, any pause.
So that is basically um what I can say for now about Kadana, my own personal experience with Kadana.
So Kadana is actually a very strict community, very very strict community. Yeah. Please don't.
So um long man, it means that we are in trouble because I will go and create a proposal that
I want to marry Ayomi, and then let the community fund our marriage. I got meets B
until I to do song for us so that people can vote. We are going to write.
We are going to write the proposal.
We we write the proposal on chain, and then community will vote on it.
Oh God! And then community will give direction now. Oh yes, oh no, they want to abstain. Oh,
they will give direction now. Reason why we should marry you. Which reason
why we should not marry you. You know, all those kind of things is making sense.
I like this this um scenario that you just gave. I think people can relate to
how um kaduna works that way. You can you can write proposal. Anybody can write proposal.
Anybody can you know put in something and then the committee will decide. Yeah. So that is done.
So Duncan, I was wondering why was that? No, no, no, no. That that was basically. So that.
One thing. One thing. One thing. Can I tell you what my life? What did the K say? He said, "What
if he writes the story of his life, Japon?" Ah, come on, ah, come and write it. That would no vote.
Well, okay, the thing will shock you. I think um the last proposal I saw um I saw some founders
that like no like proof of stake is actually like super super cool. Um,
one of the things like I remember in the early days when I explored Cardano initially,
one of the things that made them stand out among every other blockchain is this particular stuff.
The fact that um people like would generally tell you the reason why they don't want to vote for you
like is that crazy that someone can be like okay this is the reason and like there's something
about someone giving you reason why they are telling you why they won't vote
and what you would have done to like make your votes or your pitch become more better it was that is
that good guys that good like compared to Ethereum compared to like the chains we know
and the one we are into as well is actually like super super cool so like you know as an educator
we like we like making education more fun because actually nobody loves hearing
boring things this this time around right yeah. But you know stuff like this. See, no matter
how bad as it is, you shall not understand. Say, proof of stake means say, okay,
if I want to marry her now, I'll write. I'll write. Meanwhile, CK, I want to go
and write the proposal that I want me and Ayomi to to be married. Hope you're going to vote yes
for us, right? Don't click on abstain though. You guys are going to fund.
You guys are going to fund us. Well, right away is Eke's name Eke or Eke? What do you call him? Eke,
Eke, um, Eke, yeah. But you know, one thing about Ebon language is that um,
a particular word can have different meaning. Just like the way um, some some English words
to um have the same spelling but different meaning at the same time. So um, yeah,
like what I remember when I was I have friends like like when we I was small that has the same name.
So the Ebon name, like it's an Ebon name actually. Eke, like it's another intonation to his name
means snake, python. So we, I know, I traumatized my classmate that time.
So every time we be calling him snakes, snakes, snake. He started calling.
But but that's not his name, please. What does what what what is the meaning of his own name?
Oh yeah, okay. Open mic is clear your name. I am clear. I am. I dead. Leave leave blessed finger.
If you like, if you call me AK, it's my name. If you call me AK, now based on how you texting me,
onyango leku kenazuko, if stick catch you for inside bush, make you be sad on drop you one
or two venom for body first. Now based on how you texting me, then if you still call me AK,
anyone you know, you know when you talk about gun, we have um. AK forty seven, you know. So,
still you can. Some people. When I attend some events, some people still spell my name as AK,
like just AK forty seven gun. So, it's bent on the mood. You see me. There are some mood
you will see me. I will fire you. There are some mood you will see me. I may spit
or I may strike you like a snake. And there are some mood you will see me.
I will behave like the normal myself. And there are some mood you will still see me.
I will behave like AK market days, you know. Hey, you know during Ekem Market Day.
So that means your name is seven. Your name is seven. Ekem is seven. Ekem Market Day.
If they say Ekem Market Day in Ibo movies, it means seven Market Day, and the only seventh
Market Day. So that means your name is seven. Oh, now I get. So we call you seven. Blessed finger,
blessed finger. No, blessed finger in Ibo land. Eh, we have four days in Ibo land. Not seven,
it's just four. We have Akori, Afu, Unko. They are the four, four days we have.
When you talk about days of the week in Ibo, they are four, just four, not one,
not seven like one week. You get. So when some when you hear that seven days now, it's after
these first four days have passed. The next ones to count again, that is when they go for market.
You get that is um for okay for that in your own aspect. So. Yeah. Thanks for thanks for explaining.
We appreciate that. And by the way, you guys, we have CK Cardano here. CK, do you mind to bless us?
You know, within two three minutes, we should get like um some some fire fire what some fireworks
from you CK, and then we move from there. CK Cardano, you can see from his name,
CK is a very patriotic Cardano member. So, um, yeah, yeah. It's the fireman in M'Kadano. Yes,
Avatar. Should should we call him Avatar right now, guys? No, no, bro. Bro, that's his song.
That's his song. CK, yo, yo, yo, na, na, na, na, na, na. That's that's you know you don't do
that CK song. No, no, na, na, na. Welcome to the space, CK. What's up, blessed bro?
Shout out to you, man. At O L U D C U T Z. I don't know how to pronounce that.
O L U D C U T Z. Either way, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. O L U D C U T Z. Blessed fingers. O Ludicots,
blessed fingers. Well, blessed fingers, bro. Thank you for your vibes, man. You know,
as Jesus is said to have said, "You will know them by their fruit." And I appreciate
your positive vibes and and and the yeah and the good the good spirit you're
you're propagating out here to the universe, like my girl Iomi Sugar. Man,
it's always good to see you, Iomi. Shout out to Longman. Shout out to Eke, bro. Shout out to
Don Current for for for reminding me that Eke is is Snake. And for folks that are fans of Cardano,
you gotta understand the Snake fam. The ticker is S N E K. It's been a really successful asset.
You know, it's the number one meme coin on Cardano. So man, don't don't sleep on Snake.
So that's an auspicious name you have there, Eke. Shout out to you, bro. But yeah, Iomi.
As far as fire, I'm over here in the in the Bifrost proposal by Fluid Tokens,
bringing Bitcoin DeFi on chain. I mean, man. So the TLDR is this: Every Cardano SPO
can participate in the securing of Bitcoin, so that we start being able to unlock.
A smart contract expressiveness for the Bitcoin set, but instead of relying on a single point
of failure, our entire SPO, our stake pool operator network of Cardano,
which is more than fifteen hundred independent stake pools that participate, which is really crazy,
because there's something that's known as a Nakamoto coefficient, which basically is a measure
of the decentralization of the validator set in the network. And the reality is,
a lot of folks don't like to hear this, especially toxic Bitcoin Maxis.
But Cardano is actually provably more decentralized on the validation and consensus set
than Bitcoin is, because Bitcoin has so many of these really large players,
and proof of work is powerful and it's good. But it gets to a point where you've got to spend
a whole lot of money to keep up with the energy costs of a lot of these publicly traded companies
like Marathon Digital and Clean Spark and whatnot. So, so yeah, Cardano is really, really powerful.
And we've got a lot of these really awesome Bitcoin DeFi projects that are launching soon.
But the one that I'm probably the most excited about is the Bifrost Bridge by Fluid Tokens.
So shout out to El Raulito and Matteo and the team at Fluid Tokens because they're doing a lot
of really really great work. Shout out also to Bitcoin Karma and C Swap. I'm a big fan of John.
He's a really really good dude. So, so definitely go check out C Swap. Look into Bitcoin Karma,
and again, do your own research. It's very important to not take more risk than you're
willing to take on. Because I will say this: I do not know as much about the technology underneath
Bitcoin Karma as I do about the Bifrost Bridge. I I know that the Bifrost Bridge
is being built in a really powerfully decentralized way, which is not to say that Bitcoin Karma
isn't. I'm just saying that it's a different technology stack. So continue to you know keep eyes on
and and and and do your research. But I'm I'm very very hopeful about about us walking into
this this Bitcoin DeFi era on Cardano because I think that's going to unlock a lot. IOMI.
I think once we have provably secure UTXO-based DeFi, because that's one thing.
For all of the criticism that I may sometimes levy at, say, Charles Hoskinson
and the founding entities, one thing that I will always respect and appreciate from
a first principles perspective is Charles Hoskinson chose to take that smart contract model that
we see on Ethereum and Solana. And XRP and BNB, but said, you know what?
Satoshi Nakamoto had something really, really powerful in the UTXO-based model
that that that Satoshi chose for Bitcoin, and and Charles chose to say, look,
instead of making it easy on ourselves and just going accounts-based and EVM, how can we do the math
and engineering to build smart contracts on the UTXO basis of Bitcoin? And because Charles
and Cardano did choose to do that hard engineering work, it has positioned Cardano
as the most secure way to unlock smart contract expressiveness for Bitcoin.
But here's what's really cool: it's not just Bitcoin. It's every UTXO-based blockchain that exists,
and because of the first principles, solid engineering decisions that Charles
and the founding entities did make with with Cardano's codebase, we really will be able to be
the home of what I call the Grand Unified UTXO Theory, where when Dogecoin, a UTXO-based asset,
when they want to access smart contracts, they can do that on Cardano. As a matter of fact,
we have Rosenbridge. Shout out to the Ergo platform. They actually have already open sourced
smart contract support for Dogecoin in Cardano smart contracts. Things like Litecoin, UTXO based,
that also will be able to be supported by Cardano, Monero, and Zcash. Those are
two major blockchains that are building. They're UTXO based, but they do not have smart contracts.
So that's another really promising and exciting opportunity for Cardano.
Is we are going to be able to be the home of smart contracts for all UTXO based blockchains.
And now we've got Midnight Network going live, which adds privacy to the stack and. Iomi. It has.
It's a dual token model. There will only ever be 24 billion night, but night tokens of
the Midnight Network create a secondary token called Dust, which services the transaction fees
for the blockchain. So that is all some really really exciting stuff. Other than that, Iomi,
I know Rare Evo is live right now in Las Vegas. I believe there is a a VIP venture capital mixer
that's going to be happening soon at the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
That's going on in about, I think, an hour and 35 minutes. So anyone that is in Las Vegas,
if you want to go hang out with some of the VCs and see some of the networking that's going on in
in Cardano. Go over to the Aria Casino and Resort. That's that's right now in Las Vegas. Yeah, Iomi.
So things are cooking. Things are good. Shout out to Cash Anvil and the Way Up team for keeping
NFT marketplaces live. I'm excited, Iomi, and shout out to the Strike. The strike team,
strike perpetuals live, and they're going to be activating and releasing their mobile app
at some point. So that is going to be really exciting. When Cardano has not only us perpetuals
and access to all all kinds of good stuff, you can go long on Bitcoin, on Midnight, on ADA.
He's even got SpaceX support. And Nvidia support that you can access on Strike Perpetuals,
but that app, that mobile app, is coming soon. So I will land the plane there, Iomi.
It is exciting times in Cardano. We definitely have to keep ourselves accountable.
We've got to keep making sure that we're supporting leaders that are building. Folks like you, Iomi,
thank you for having a space like this where we can come together in community and chop it up
and discuss these powerful technologies we're building together. Shout out to Blessed.
Blessed fingers. Shout out to to Don Current, Long Man himself, and Eke,
the meritorious neck of Centra Centrify. I don't know what that is, bro,
but I'm sure it's it's probably dope. And it's uh, he's a beta tester. He's always available.
He's linking projects to Africa Web Three, the trifecta. And shout out to the great continent of.
Africa, people, man, Africa does not get as much respect as it deserves, and particularly,
I'm gonna say Nigeria, yo. A lot of people that don't know, Nigeria is the number one nation
on earth that actually uses blockchain. We get a lot of talk about America and the Clarity Act,
but that's just because there's a lot of money over here. When you actually talk about people,
hearts and minds of the people that are using this technology, Nigeria is number one. So
if it works in Nigeria, that's a powerful thing. That's a powerful thing.
So shout out to the people of Nigeria. I'll land the plane there, Iomi. I hope you're having
a great day. Shout out to Cardano newcomer support episode eighty-seven. CK, drum rolls.
Where's the drum? Yes. Okay. Um. Thank you so much, Eke, for being here, and thank you for,
you know, always being supportive and always joining the space when you have the opportunity to. Um.
I really do appreciate that. Um. Long man, I have one question for you. I know you are a trader,
like you trade. I don't really know about trading and all of those things. I don't. I'm not.
I don't involve myself in it. Do you explore trading on Cardano, Longman?
I want to ask you that question. Have you explored it? Oh well, not really. I mean,
the last time I checked, I noticed that there was no much liquidity out there, and I was like,
you know what? I think I'll just keep my change to myself. But yeah, I only checked through
and browsed through the interface, but the liquidity was not that encouraging.
So I don't think I'll survive with my money. Okay. Do you do you trade perpetuals?
I don't know about perpetuals. I'm just asking. Do you trade like? No, not really. Not really. No.
Okay, okay, because I heard CK talking about uh perpetual strike or something. So yeah, strike,
strike, perpetuals, Iomi. Um, it's actually there. The strike team are responsible
for more transactions on the L one of Cardano than any other app right now. And yeah,
it's it's a way where you can get like five x and ten x leverage on things like Bitcoin and ADA
and Midnight and some of the the assets that are trading on Wall Street.
Like Nvidia is a major company that does a lot of like GPUs and stuff that is basically what runs
a lot of these AI models. And yeah, so you you can you know people can get access to that
with Strike Perpetuals powered by Cardano, and it's non KYC, so you don't actually you don't have to
like upload an ID and do all this kind of stuff. You can just access the the the leverage
and the perpetuals contracts. But definitely, you know, do your own research
and and stay safe out there because perpetualsβ€”it's you can make money really quickly,
but you can lose it really quickly as well. So definitely, you know, important to do do research.
But yeah, shout out to the Strike Perpetuals team. All right, thank you very much.
So for those that do perpetuals, I don't know what that is, but for those that do perpetuals,
you can explore it and make sure you do your research. Yes. N S A N S A. Not a financial myself.
You can make a lot of money. I can also lose a lot of money. That sounds like something the Gen
would do to you. No, no, bro. Do you know why the Gen is beautiful? The Gen is that you know you
you are going to guarantee yourself, right? But perpetual make you understand like they
you don't know like your brain is that yes I just enter the right trade
and then view once you are going the market is going against you it's up,
and ah Jesus it always happen the time you think you you have the best entry, so Peps is crazy man.
Okay, um, is you guys don't know Peps and all of those things? No, no, seriously. Um, are you me?
I think um me I'm more I'm more into the yield farming aspect of DeFi, right? Um, like at least,
I I'm here to like explore because I want to like explore Miniswap because I think Miniswap is one
of the biggest on on Cardano, right? So um, I just want to like um, one of the things I do is like
for me, yeah, I I used to share tips and now I make money literally like using leveraging on you.
When you're talking about your fam, you're talking about creating LP, staking, borrowing, borrowing
and lending, and then supply, yeah. So um, for now um, I just want to like understand how yeah,
how the the transfer worth fees work on all these dexes. So for me, this is how I actually end.
So I go to like top dexes on different chains, and then I I deploy liquidity there.
That I know that I can lose obviously because I'm not I'm not that I'm not that bad. Yes,
I'm a bad trader, guys, but I make a lot of money through you. So I just leverage on that aspect to
you know scale through. So that's just it. But still, I think I on I think I was able to like see
those things through that um um Cardano path find that that the one that the Cardano ecosystem stuff
has. So it's actually cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I even like the the whole concept
of the pathfinder. It allows you to navigate through the ecosystem better. I really like it.
We have some other platforms like some other um directory like Canalube,
but I like the whole concept of the can the pathfinder that allows you to navigate through
different um communities and ecosystems. It surely makes sense. Yeah. Um. So I think I sense
high sense. Yes, yes, yes. Your PFP is very scary. Am not scary. Your PFP is very scary. Okay, okay,
okay. Good evening to the whole home. Oh, sorry. Let me be calm. Let me be calm. Let me be calm.
Let Let's do this. Let's do this. Am not. We don't touch her. Yeah. Good evening to everybody
on the space. And I see my able guy. We not really care value like that. Logma, yeah,
the logma with the long things. You understand? Logma, I can see on the space. Which long thing?
I'm just. I'm just chillin', my guy. Let me chill, my guy, in peace. They talk say
long guy with long thing. You dey you dey argue Iyomi. How you take nothing you no get long thing.
You know the long thing where they try talk. Every minute money
we every minute value guy long thing. No be money you dey talk. You talk say long thing.
There only one long thing I know say de. There only one long thing I know say de.
And another one thing Iyomi they argue about. But I'm not talking about.
I'm talking about wait wait wait wait. I'm don't bring it up right. Wait wait wait Iyomi.
I'm actually don't bring it up right. I'm talking about. Like three things together,
so I don't know the one that you guys are cooking. I don't know. I don't care.
You guys can fight behind the scene, but allow me to do my greeting piece. You understand?
That is the first that I know. Yeah, I can see Iyom sugar. You know, Iyomia do happy.
I did they call him. But so good job. I see that you guys are also speaking about Kairano,
and I really want to join and connect. I can see a lot of new faces on this week.
B K is not a new face. Look at the kadano beside his name. How does he look like a new face? Nah,
nah. Wait, wait, wait. When I say a new face, I'm not talking about I'm not talking about
a new B. Understand? I'm talking about myself. A new face to me, understand? A new face to me.
So I'm not calling me a newbie. I don't care about newbie or no newbie. You having a boutique
or no boutique? You having followers or no followers? Since you are talking on a space,
I will surely give you a follow. Understand? So I'm just, I'm just trying to connect with
new new faces. So yes, you do it and give me a follow. I'm going to give it back. Understand?
Follow as my avatar. In that evening, I just return it. A sub, a sub. I just follow the CTA Cardano,
and I follow everyone on the space. So you guys are talking about Cardano, Cardano,
and you are talking about perpetual, which caught my mind. You know, when you guys
mention perpetual, I was very happy. I think I am wanting to start trading perpetual. I was like,
this girl don't love herself anymore. Maybe she don't really care about her piece of mind,
but at the same time, she still care about it since she back to. You understand?
But perpetuity is very easy and very cool to trade. You can make a lot of money
and you can get sent back to village. You understand? Just actually a two in one stop. So you guys,
I'm bullish on everybody. Log man, I still come back to you. This guy with Photoshop here, respect.
Saint Saint Joe, this is the first time Saint Joe be acting like a normal human being, eh? Say John,
I'm bad to go. Boy, yeah, I mean, jump to you now. Idea on life. I see, say you don't get blue tick.
Long man, long man. You see, you see. Check, wait. I am, I am. The way I come up to the space
and I talk and I drop the mic back. Is this not, not okay? Bye bye. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait. Long man, long man. I don't like. You're paying me, but I can see.
Precipitation matters. You understand? I can see a lot of new physics. See blazened finger.
Maybe this guy wants to give me some fingers. Maybe finger licking. I don't know. But see,
blazed figure. See, this guy will give me some. I don't know. In terms of me, I don't see cha.
But I'm feeling my phone side. I'm in now way. So I don't care about what you are doing
or what you are not doing. You understand? But long my bag, not the paper bag. See,
don't current now. Maybe this guy will give me some current. I don't know. Guys,
check out solar panel. You've been because my do solar water installation.
I can tap current from here and use it to generate light. I don't know, cha. But long my,
I don't want to. I don't want to do like this. We really give value for this piece. You understand?
No, no, for the only, the one that is full of value. You understand? This one okay value like this.
Let me do like this. Wow! I go I go at compose. Big shout out to you, Charles and John. Uh, Iori,
Omo. Time don't they reach already to the panel, bro? Uh, ah. Shivi, nae they always tell me say
why they quick of the quick workspace. Nae they complain today. The weather is is so dangerous
and oh, this cold us too much. Uh. Yeah, sorry. Um. So guys, um, thank you all for being here today.
I already added the. I think the Azio cool guy is not connecting. I can't see the mic connected to
him yet. I have added him already now. Oh really? Oh, he's very connecting from my end. Hi. Sorry,
sorry, sorry. You guys, you pardon me, pardon me, pardon me. I can't see my hero on the screen.
This guy joined with a guy we don't get. I mean, my God, prosy. I can see down there.
I can see down there. My bad. I, I swear, I swear. I don't even know that this one
behind their account because the name is somehow hard for me to pro pronounce. So I just,
I just compose. You understand? Before I go spoiling the name, prosy. I can see down there.
G M T U. I'm bullish on you, brother. Guy, what's up now? I did now. Yes, yes. I can hear you.
I can hear you. You can hear me. Okay. So you guys can see my idol. At the same time, you know,
be like, see, I degrade some person, I neglect another person. Is that guy Z or Zach or Z? I resort.
I don't know. He doesn't love me. Mister, I don't even love you. Understand?
I don't care about your people. That be your last post. I don't love you that. Understand?
I can see Ken. I can see Lammy. This Lammy Lammy, your normal Lammy. But at the same time,
I don't care about your name. Yo, you guys are, guys, you guys are cooking. Long man, come
and cook for me. Cook for me. Cook for me. Let's do some djing. Shoutout, Saint. Um,
I want to do some shoutout to Ken Eric. Kenobi is one of the OGs in the ecosystem, Kadano ecosystem,
and we have the Duke Boys here too. Hey Shagi, I know that should be Shagi. How are you doing today?
Um, I also saw I can see Lami on the space. Welcome. Actually, we're about to round up the space,
and while CK was talking about something, something came to my head. Um,
there's been a question that I've been in my head for some time. You know, people say that um
Nigeria Nigeria has the highest number of people that use that that using crypto, but then
why is Kadano so popular in Nigeria? So I'll be trying to. I'm looking for
how I can work with some people, like together on this particular question. So um, in
the coming weeks, I would. I don't even. I don't. I've not yet have plans. Yeah,
I've not like planned it yet. But it's it's still in the ideation phase in my head.
But then I should be able to do something with some people on this space. Um,
please let me give the mic to Ezeku first. Okay,
let me give it to Ezeku. Hi, Ezeku. Good evening. Hi, good evening.
Oh, you just want to say good evening?
No, I was familiar with your drink before through John, so I'm just following up. Oh, oh, oh, okay,
that's nice. Yeah, thank you. Um, CK. Yeah, Omi. You know what? You you were you were touching on
something really important. Like, how do we actually get people using these blockchains, man?
And this goes to again. I'm not gonna because this is a recorded space,
and I I very much want to respect what you're building here, because it is it is it is
it is important that Cardano does have these bright like spots where we can actually
where we can where we can educate each other and build build community and whatnot.
But this is where I think. Better resource allocation and supporting people that actually have
the talent to do the marketing, so that people do learn about Cardano and go, oh wow,
like this is what I can actually use it for. Like you know I you know I don't want to
you know whatever, but like for instance the the head of Emergo, Philip Pahn,
you know he's got I think something like yeah 2,735 followers on this platform. Which again,
your follower count does not mean like what you're worth, but you know the head of marketing,
for instance, at Emergo, I think still has less than 2,000 followers. And these are people,
and especially the head of marketing. Your job, you're paid a living wage,
and the wages that we hear that a lot of the Cardano founding entities pay people,
it's quite frankly absurd. Like there are people, like at Input Output Charles's company,
we know that engineers are paid more than four hundred thousand dollars, and that's U.S. Dollars.
They do not pay their rent and their mortgages in in in Ada. So what that means is every engineer
that someone like Charles hires at four hundred thousand that's that's sales pressure on Ada.
That one engineer is four hundred thousand, and we see the same thing with the marketing teams.
So the head of marketing at Emergo, a founding entity, has fifteen hundred followers. It's like,
well, what marketing are you doing, bro? And you're the global head of marketing, and this goes on
and on and on. We even see it with the Midnight Ambassadors. There are people that were paid by
founding entities to tell the story of Cardano to get people interact. With a blockchain,
that as soon as the money ran out, they went away because their hearts aren't in it.
They are not here being the beating heart and soul of the community like you are, like like I am,
like a lot of us that have showed up for free. And that's what really frustrates me, IOMI,
is the beating heart and the reason why Cardano has had the success that it has had is people
that have not been paid. While at the same time, we have people that are paid hundreds of thousands
of dollars that have failed. And the reality is, I have open sourced many ways. And for instance,
IOMI. If I was given, like, if I had one one thing, and what's funny, Bitcoin already took a piece
of this idea, and they're starting to run with it. But Cardano, I used to call them
Cardano Treasure Quest or Crypto Treasure Quest, powered by Cardano. What I would do is one Bitcoin
is sixty thousand dollars for Litecoin, less than two hundred dollars,
two thousand one hundred forty-three ADA. Why two thousand one hundred forty-three ADA? Because
forty-five billion, the total supply of ADA, divided by twenty-one million, is
two thousand one hundred forty-two point eight. That so basically for every one Bitcoin there's
two thousand one hundred forty three ADA. So one that's like an educational thing.
You people would learn. Oh my gosh. So for every one Bitcoin there's this many ADA.
So you know so there's powerful shit. But the point is you can get that for like
three hundred fifty dollars. So imagine if one way to get people interacting with Cardano
would be hunting to discover twenty four word seed phrases, which is also education.
People learn about the power of self custody. And so again here in Cardano we are peeling off
salaries of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Whereas I guarantee you,
if Cardano crypto treasure quests, we could walk into any room, XRP, Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin,
and say, "Do you guys want to discover? You know, and and maybe have a shot at acquiring one Bitcoin
for Litecoin." Monero, Zcash, Dogecoinβ€”like we could create this whole stack
of ideally UTXO-based blockchains that the community quests for, and we could have that all together
for less than one of these pointless salaries that Charles pays his engineers.
And with that four hundred thousand dollar treasure chest, we could inspire people
that would download Cardano wallets. And here's how it would work: we would reach out
to twenty-four. Businesses. So, for instance, how do we get people in Nigeria using Cardano?
Imagine if there were there was a bakery somewhere in Nigeria. Imagine there was
an auto mechanic shop somewhere in Nigeria, and we say, hey guys, you know, like like Iomi's bakery,
just you know, just whatever. Say Iomi had a bakery, and she was somewhere in Nigeria. We would go,
hey Iomi, are you okay with maybe being the custodian of the seventh word
in our crypto treasure quest? So what's going to happen is people are going to go to
the website crypto treasure quest. Io, which again don't go there because it doesn't exist.
But if they did, right, what I want it to be is a Fun like a treasure hunt
where you're solving riddles. Like there was a series of books. There was a book that was called
The Da Vinci Code, was very popular, was made into a movie, and it has a guy.
The lead character is a guy named Robert Langdon, and he's basically he's a like a symbologist
and whatnot. And so what he does is he'll get puzzles like an artwork, and he'll go, Oh my gosh,
this piece of art was painted in 1319, and then that 1319 ends up being like a Clue
to more information. So that's what this crypto treasure quest would be:
is they would go to the website, and for instance, maybe the first one is like,
"Who was who is famous for quote running Bitcoin?" And really deep people. Well, no,
that was Hal Finney. Hal Finney famously made a Twitter post where he just said "running Bitcoin.
" You know, so maybe that's the first uh um like puzzle or riddle to solve.
So they anyone that successfully puts in Hal Finney goes bink. And what do they get?
They get an address, and maybe that address goes to a donut shop in Salem, Massachusetts. Why Salem,
Massachusetts? Because Bitcoin was released on Halloween night, 2008, and Salem,
Massachusetts is witchcraft trial, spooky, spooky. So there's fun shit like this.
Now imagine we now have people going to the to this donut shop in Salem. Why? Because if they order
the Satoshi Sprinkle, which they'd find this out at the website, they go Hal Finney,
and then they go Bink. Here's the address of the the donut shop in Salem,
and all you have to do is order the Satoshi Sprinkle when you go there,
and at the bottom of your receipt will be a word. That is the first word of the 24.
The first team that is able to input the 24 words in the correct order claim the treasure quest.
So that's the one Bitcoin, 2,143 Ada, 1,143 Nights. So we also write. But now think about what
we're doing for that small business. That small business is getting free marketing.
They're learning about that donut shop in Salem. They're paying. They're ordering
the Satoshi Sprinkle, so they're also supporting it. So in a similar way,
let's say the seventh word was in Nigeria. At At your bakery shop, Iomi's Bakery Shop,
and so then people that solve the first word, right, and then they the the um the first word
of the twenty four unlocks the second riddle, you know. But anyway, so the second, the third,
the fourth. So these are all small businesses all around the world. One of them in Sydney,
Australia. One of them somewhere in Canada. And so think about this as well. If if Iomi and I
and Longman. Let's say the three of us were on a treasure team. Iomi's in Nigeria.
Let's say Longman was in Paris. Say I'm in America, and together we solve the first three riddles.
We get the first three words, and then we go, "Oh my gosh, we the fourth one is in Sydney.
" And we don't have we we're not in Sydney, but let's say our friend Ken Eric is, you know,
and we go, "Hey Ken, uh, will you join our treasure quest team?" Now get this.
Ada Handle for folks that don't know, Ada Handle has things called subhandles,
so they could also be a collaboration in the treasure quest. Where let's say Iomi started it,
and then she hooks up with Longman to help solve a riddle, because she goes, "Man,
I don't know this running Bitcoin riddle. What is it?" And Longman goes, "Oh my gosh,
I know what it is." And so then Iomi join or Longman joins Iomi's team,
and then they're trying to solve riddles, but then they run into into an issue, or they find out,
"Oh, the next riddle is in America." And they go, oh my gosh, I've got a friend, CK.
CK is in America, so we'll have him join our team. So think about this. This is marketing, right?
And then suddenly, if we don't have a friend that's in Sydney, Australia, what do we have to do?
We've got to get on social media and say, hey, are you a fan of crypto?
Do you want to maybe unlock your part? Part of like a Bitcoin and Litecoin and all this stuff.
Then please join our team, right? And everyone that we add to our team gets a sub handle.
And so basically, the first person that enters the twenty-four words first,
everyone it splits whatever's in the treasure chest to everyone on our team. So and and in theory,
if we put the twenty-four words all around the world. We're probably going to have to have
one person in that location. So each treasure team that would be successful probably has 24 people.
But now here's another thing: we know the 24 words. Not only do we have to have the right words,
we have to have them in the right order. So there's that's also a way where you won't have like
teams necessarily front running each other. So you can basically have the 24 words have to be people
that have to go to an in real life location to retrieve it, and then once they retrieve it,
we can have another set of riddles for them to find the order of the word.
So there's all this kinds of shit. So what I'm trying to say here, landing the plane, is that Iomi.
That is how, with less than a million dollars, we could light up all of crypto.
It's a cross-chain cultural celebration, but we've got leaders like Charles Hoskinson
that do not acknowledge the people that can actually bring the talent to the chain.
We have all these pointless salaries we pay, hundreds of millions of sales pressure
that is not adding transaction volume, it's not educating, it's not getting
people downloading wallets, and I'm freaking sick of it. It's disgusting to me, but again,
I'm not going to go down that road. So, so yeah, a treasure quest is how I would do it.
If I had one shot, and how to get people using the chain, downloading wallets,
understanding the powerβ€”that's the no-brainer, you know.
And then the crypto treasure quest season one would lead into season two. And what I would do is,
as people discover more and more of the 24 words, you could unlock people that could buy hints.
And what you would do is, let's say, you know, it's let's like twelve out, twelve ADA, let's say,
you know, to to buy a hint, and six ADA would increase the treasure, and then six ADA would go
to support the treasure quest team that would set up season two, and so and we just keep going,
and then that becomes a big cultural part of Cardano. Is oh gosh, it's the it's season three
of the crypto treasure quest powered by Cardano. That. Would do more marketing
than all these effing people that you know. Anyway, I'll land the plane there.
But you know what I'm saying, Naomi? Is we need to celebrate the talent because it's here.
It's here, and there are people that have showed up every day. There are people that have put
their heart and souls. There are people whose lives are different, not in a positive way,
because they've supported Cardano. Maybe they've pissed off evil Bitcoin maximalists.
That have followed people home, that have contacted people's jobs, that have started problems
in people's lives because people have chosen to support Cardano. This kind of stuff.
There's a real cost to it, you know. And right now, unfortunately,
leadership in Cardano has chosen to pay people to basically pretend that oh,
it's okay if we don't have stable coins. Oh, it's okay if Cardano native assets don't have
tier one exchange support. Basic. First principles stuff. So it's disingenuous to have our leaders
saying, "Oh, how do we get support?" It's like, bro, if you actually wanted Cardano to get adoption,
there's easy first principles ways. We should not be cutting checks to Draper.
We should not be cutting checks to to Alpha Growth when we haven't addressed easy shit.
It doesn't take a genius to come up with a treasure quest, you know? To you know to anyway.
I'll land the plane there, Iomi. But yeah, so there there is a way. Shout out to the people
of Nigeria and shout out to Ken Eric. He is a real one. Let's go. Let's go. Thank you, Mr. CK. Um,
actually, the um treasure hunt that you say is actually a stra strategic yeah English,
a strategic ah a strategic way of marketing. If we look at it, it actually makes a lot of sense.
I think it's actually a very beautiful idea as well. Yeah, and. One of the ways that I also thought
we could market Cardano was actually through Cardano bounties, to that I talked about.
I wanted it to be like something in region, like a region thing. Like there should be like
Cardano bounties, Nigeria Cardano bounties, US Cardano bounties, you know, different countries
and all. But then everything will be fine at the end of the day. Um. I see maybe Bogdan,
maybe maybe Hi. I see Julia. I see Odops. I see I see Jakestar. Thank you all for joining.
We are actually about to round up the space before um CK Cardano decided to light us up a little.
So we are gonna end the space now. I don't know if anyone has a final thought. Okay, thanks. Okay,
actually, actually, I don't have much to say, you know. So I'm just going to be why am I
in love now? Why am I in love? Me, I love me. Actually, actually, I, you guys,
seen something about you trying to build something? I'll be trying to gather a group of people
to do something. Okay, I think I, I was kind of with that time. So at least
that you attention to since it's going to bring money to me and your pocket.
Like it's going to add solana to my soul, you know. So I'm actually in, understand? Just teach me,
just teach me for one side. No worry, I will. I will. No worry, I did it first. Long,
but if you ask long myself, see, I first send John. I did before for inside. He go tell to me,
I asked it first time, and I gave all the person. You don't see the guy, don't really give all.
Just the course for you. So I'm very bullish on everyone on this space. You guys shall do well.
I'm trying to bag a big one, Web three, you know. When I say a baby Web three,
you guys know what I mean. So I need one to follow us to do it. So you guys should do well.
Support me with your one or two followers. I'm going to follow you back at the same time.
You let all the guys see on the space. I don't know if you be my fortunate baby,
but I'm trying to bag a baby Web three for now. You guys should do well and follow me. Understand?
I will follow back. You know, I don't do this, but at the same time. Okay. Um. Thank you. Long man,
are we taking that as as as our final thoughts? Yeah, I mean, oh well, could they catch me?
Honestly speaking, but yeah, I was thinking this guy will stay with us, Musa, but the guy ran away.
But yeah, I don't really have much to say. And you guys should take good care of yourself.
Stay hydrated, stay safe, and oh well, don't go outside, especially during this rainy season.
Lucky don't go far down. But yeah, take good care of yourself. Be safe out there. Yeah,
we'll catch up later on Thursday. That's next week Thursday. So I will be over to you. Yeah,
I was about saying that that this is actually a weekly space. We host it every Thursday, 8 p.m. UTC,
and that is 9 p.m. Nigerian time. So we hope to see you guys next week again,
so we can come together and learn and connect and have fun. You know, maybe we'd have um,
what's the name of this guy again? Almighty Fingers or what's his name? Um,
we have you here again next week to another person here. Um, so guys,
enjoy the rest of your week. Stay safe. Stay hydrated and Be nice to your neighbor. Bye bye.
