Hey, uh, Chi Chi, how are you doing? Welcome and thanks for joining this space. I
sent you a invitation to grab the mic. Hope we can speak at the moment.
Man, too tired today. Trying to share the space with some of my guys. Next, ah,
something for Sergio to do. Okay. Hi. Hi, hi, Gigi. Hi, Yomi. How are you doing? I'm doing great.
How you doing too? Doing well, thank you. Ah, it's Lagos. Lagos is Lagosin. How about you? Yes. So
how do I put Abuja? Now Abuja is Abujain. Right. Yes. We are here with. It's good to have you here.
Thank you. Yeah, looks like you. Are you are you near to Cardinal? I think I I would say I'm new.
Let me let me join the newcomers though. I'm like six months. Wow, that's a that's a long time.
Really? Yeah. And I'm thinking I'm I'm new. That's a long time. That's a long time. Oh wow.
So for how long have we been? Hmm. Although I I got involved with Kalandu in 2023. Oh okay. Yeah,
but I started getting myself involved in all. You know, understanding how it works. And now in 2024,
okay, yeah. So wow, let me see 2024. Yes, I a king, and it's been. It's the experience
has been beautiful. I mean, right, learning, educating myself, exploring. I know, yeah. Yeah.
Would you mind telling me how you got to know about Cardano? Like your face. Okay. So you see. Um.
So um. I'm. I have a brand called Six Figure Mom on Instagram, right? Um. And also, so we teach.
My my edtech is Lenify Africa. So we teach web two, right? Like all those um working remotely skills
and stuff. So the thing is, I'm also on LinkedIn, right? I I speak on LinkedIn lives and all that.
But my dear, one day. There's a gig that they supposed to give me. Do you know what happened?
They say I need web three experience. I say web web what? These people did not give me this job.
I scream screw crow creek crow like eh? It is in USD, my sister. I said this thing cannot like
without. Hey God! I said this thing cannot be true. They said me it's web three.
I say you guys have. Oh my God, my dear. That's how I found myself here in web three. I say,
what's in God's name? Why wouldn't I go and study? You know, my sister used used to do this Bitcoin,
all these things. There's nothing that she does not know how to buy in in in those things, right?
But I was not interested. I studied. You see this thing. I will never learn it because I'm not even.
I don't even have time. Since that day, I have to go and sit myself down and say, my dear,
you have to learn this thing. So we started. So this year, I got my certificate,
Cardona certificate. The thing is that sometimes I notice that we have in Nigeria here. You know,
Solana is dominating, but I'm not this type of person that goes with crowd.
I was just looking for something, you know, something unique. We are. I'm into.
We we build systems for businesses, teach AI and all that. So I'll just search.
I can't remember what I was doing one day. And now saw. I don't know. You know, I saw their
how their own system, governors, all those things. I said, hey, but these people looks
like they are complicated though. Maybe this thing will not stretch my life. My dear,
that's how I say. Anyway, let me let me just go and try this thing, you know.
So I finally I I did my the certification on Coursera. I got it. I got the certificate.
So I just said, okay, let me even. I think a few weeks ago, I even wrote about it on on my page on
on X here about the certification. But few weeks I was now going trust. Okay,
so since this because I'm not a Twitter person, I'm just trying to understand Twitter.
My page is up. I'm more active on Instagram, but Instagram disabled my account.
Ninety something thousand followers. Yes. So we are still working to get it, you know.
So on on Instagram, I used to influence for brands. I have influenced for seller. In fact, um,
as a 2025, I'm top number one percent creator in Africa in seller as a 20 as 2025 this past year.
So you can understand. I do. I've done advert for Clever. It's even on my ex page.
I've done advert for uh with Misan, right, and so many other brands. Instagram showed me Shige.
So we are still on the ban, but hopefully I will pray that it's going to come back. So I just said,
let me just keep myself busy here. You know, I'm also the president of JPI.
I don't know if you know about JPI. Um, their national president, first female president, actually.
So, my dear, that was how my my my my journey into Web three. They denying me the job,
and me saying I must do this by fire by force, right? Though I'm a mom of three, but I say no way,
motherhood cannot stop me because see this. I say, Motherhood, you got nothing on me because me
and these children, we have to, we have to pursue this. We have to do something.
But I'm finding interesting. The community is accommodating, right? The community is accommodating.
Do you know that a few days ago, when I was going through, um, I think I can't remember what
I was searching on X here. I now found um, Olivia. He's from Congo. Yeah, he's from Congo, right?
I drop a comment. He followed me, so I sent him a message. You know that I saw that he's into
Cardano and all those things. My dear, this guy volunteered. He volunteered and said, okay,
that he's going to take me through the. He, we, I think we on three, almost three hours. You know,
he was the one that now showed me that we have Kadano Forum outside ex community. You know,
so he was. I think he was mentioning your name. He came to me and said, "There's someone in Nigeria.
There's someone in Nigeria, Ayomi. There's someone. I say I'm going to find that.
" He said he told me that that person is now an ambassador. I say I must find her, Ayomi.
Here I come. You know, so that was how I. He also found you. I also found you, my dear. That's so.
That's where we are now. So I believe we are one big family now. You know, but um. So that is it.
Wow, that was an experience. I mean, how you got to know about Kadano, all of the um,
you must have your job web three before you take this job, you know, all of those things.
And I'm glad that you you took that as something very important, and then you started learning,
you started your journey web three, and that is great because I think that is how we grow by
learning, by not seeing something as a Um, as a how was English word English is failing me.
As a challenge, yeah, as a challenge. Yeah, thank you. Right, when you see as a challenge, man,
fight it, and you know, work on yourself and all. And to be honest, I can relate with you
because when I also started my journey, because I never knew about Web three
as a twenty twenty three. Like it all started from. A Kadano project, um,
where you you write proposal to get funding. That's I got to know about Kadano.
I always tell people that I got to know about Kadano, and I don't comment. I Nana.
So aside from the grant and all, I was like, what again will I be doing the Kadano?
What again can I do? Really, just be about writing proposal, reviewing project, and all, you know.
And I'm a very curious person. I like to, I like to explore things, you know.
Especially things that are tech related and all, I really like them. And when I started my journey
in in Web3 or let me say Cardano, you know, Cardano is in Web3, so there's some the current.
So there are some terminologies that that was that was that was like challenging.
Like I was so I was so down and like even at some point I was like, can I cope?
Can I know this thing? Can I do this? Can I do that? Because Most people that I was, you know,
relating with after them, they were or they are actually people that already into blockchain,
like it's already into Web three already. They knew about all of this crypto and all,
and I was like, "How God?" When I when when they are talking or when they are explaining something
like this, I was just be shaking my head because I don't understand anything that they are saying.
I don't understand anything, and I was like, "Can I do this?" Ah, Omo, this is gonna stress me, O.
But then after then. Joining ex spaces, Canada spaces, just joining, joining, joining,
following people, Canada people, following Canada people and ex, you know. Um, I Sammy,
I M J. So that's how it started. Though it all started like that, like that, and before I know it,
I don't even know how I came this far. So I'm even so happy, oh Chichi. Nah, can I? I'm so sorry,
Madam Chichi. Why did you change it? Stop it, Joe. What do you mean by? What What do you mean?
My my as a Nigerian or as an African, I can't just call you chichi. I get it. Don't worry. So,
but I must tell you, don't worry. As long as you are, um, ready to learn,
ready to connect with people, ready to explore, you will love it. You will love
every single experience. That's what I can say. Um. Just keep up learning and asking questions.
What you don't know, can always reach out to people. I'm always here as well.
And things that I can't answer, I can always refer you to people that are, you know,
OGs in the ecosystem. I can refer you to them, you know, things like that. And I must tell you,
you would, you are going to enjoy, you are going to enjoy the experience. Um,
nice to really connect with you. To be honest, um, I'm so happy to connect with you.
The lanifa is sounding familiar to me. Right. Yeah, sounds so familiar to me. Planify. Um,
is is it an app or website or? Okay, so is is an edtech. So we teach um digital and digital skills.
Oh, okay, okay, okay. I get it. I get it. Well done. Thank you. Do Do you guys teach him
how to dance? You know, it's also a digital skill as well. How to dance? Which of the dance is it?
Africa, like Hausa, Ibo. Or or Congo own. You go and get it now. I go live. We soon add it.
You guys are Ibo, don't correct and don't cheat. You guys are Ibo. Right. Okay. Now from where?
Which states? Me, I'm from Anambra, Nwe. Wow, no, no wonder, no wonder.
I I understand your general renown is is is making sense now. Oh, um, and no,
I'm from kind of east though. Any good states, I precise. Okay, any good states. Yeah. Wow,
that's nice. But I grew up in Onitsha, so I've I've been to your hometown a lot of times
when I was studying decoration, like event planning and stuff. So yeah. Wow. Oh,
that means that means you know how to ride them bike like mad because not they have them now.
We are the anyway because in it they win. When you marry, they will give you bike. That's
how to know that you're from Naiwi. But that's the that's a good one. Nice connecting with you.
But on a more serious note, um, on a more serious note, you know, one one of the reason
why I don't used to join life on X here. You guys are always on anonymous, like the picture.
So I'm always odd. Yeah, I'm always odd. I say, "Go, bro. Wait, can we meet him? Is this one?
" Don't worry. At least the the web three space is like changing now, or X space is changing now.
So you're going to be meeting. Well, they're really in as much as many people will be using
an animated PFP because they represent a particular brand. Um, if you go to through most
of their page, you're going to see their face. For instance, if you go to Yomi's page now,
you must catch like twenty of her videos like mad. So let's assume she's hiding behind there.
Do you understand now? So that's just it. Oh, I see. So I I need to go and open
and learn one page now. No, no, no. There's no need for that. I think it's a stress. For instance,
now just like your own is focused on um um edtech and um AI based stuff,
and it's your own um approach. Like most of us here as well. Okay. We built our own throne
on mostity, and then all of a sudden, you know, we now go to the the aspects whereby your identity
needs to be known to an extent. So at some points, you have to like show your certificate now,
and so. Like like the idea is basically to just show that you belong to a particular community.
That's just the the main uh for me. That's the main thing about NFTs. Like they call it NFTs.
Basically, not the one that we use AI to do, and then thing looks boring sometimes,
and and it's funny because when you know if you see the AI edited ones, you know, uh,
but if you see the one that belongs to a community. Hey, they are like the the structures
are basically mostly mostly different. Hey, so from your profile now, and anybody that says you know
that um you have a brand, just like the way people like do on LinkedIn. No, people, LinkedIn people,
they are one of the most. To us, they are one of the most um creepy people. So to us,
they are creepy. So package, package, man, building this word. Yeah, now
because I think there's a there's a day I was talking with one and I went through at this thing.
Normal um, I you are handling um something like a community, but on LinkedIn,
the way they go package the things, self, you self go shock. You be asking yourself, is it the same?
Oh my god! So for that, it's I think even me too. I I even like rebranded to my real face now
as my brand identity of recent. To the edition, I think I think last month or last. But normally,
I it was an NFT collection, just like the Wyoming's own is a store. Oh okay, I get it now. Oh, okay.
I I've learned something now because I was thinking that these people.
I didn't even know that you're using it to represent a community. Some of them actually, right?
Okay, thank you for that. Yeah. Like me now, my own um profile picture. Oh, I was about to call you,
Nana. You already leaving? Oh shit! I hope you can come up again. Um, my own private picture now.
I just like um the the old structure of how this NFT NFT looks like. Me, I just like it.
Although it belongs to a community called Claimmate on on Cardano, but I just like it.
I'm I'm not like really into that community, but I just like it because this one
this particular NFT. Because I'm an intersect member, I don't know if you know intersect.
Do you know intersect? Yes, Olivia. Olivia, he he told me about the intersect. In fact,
he said he's going to send me the link, but I don't have the link yet.
So he said he's going to share. Okay, let me. Let me add one of their posts on the Jumbotron
so you can. Okay. Can you can you see things that I'm adding up there? You can see them, right?
The new the people joining the life, right? Now I'm adding some posts. Or if you like,
look above your your. Okay. How do I say that? Look above your. Okay. Yes. Think that. Yes,
I think I'm seeing it. Yes, I saw Linda now, right? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
So now let me also okay. Let me add a post from intersect so you can check. Okay. Their ex also. Oh,
okay. So let me follow her. Okay. Okay, I've also saved it. Okay. So intersect is um member based.
It's more like governing how um um. Kadano community is doing one kind of thing, and um,
in in Kadano, I don't even know where to start from like this because just start from somewhere.
We are going to be taking it one after the other. Yeah, let me add a post.
I made a post about origin of Kadano few weeks back,
so let me also add it up there so you see it. Okay. Yeah.
Ah, let me see. Ah, so currently I think. Yeah, currently yes, yes. All this. Yeah, currently,
current is yet to so this. Ah, I thought you said we're going to join by ten. I was,
I thought you would join by. No, no, I was honest. I meant in ten minutes. Don't mind me. Oh. Oh.
Okay. Okay. That's fair. Yeah. I just added another post now.
The one I created about witches of Cadalum. But then, aside from these people, this um,
yeah, so aside from this um, founding entities in Cadalum, there's something there's something
they call the Pentad, right? Um, I will talk about that soon, but before then,
let's say hi to Nana Saffo. Hi, Nana Saffo. Hey Ayomi, how is it going?
It's been a while since I was here. Yeah. Yeah. Nice talking to you again, Mama. Yeah, always good.
Always good to hear your voice and also know that you're so rocking with your community.
And what are we? Episode ninety. Congratulations on the achievement. This is a big milestone
for you. I'm so happy for you. Thank you. You know, when I saw your post, I was like, wow.
I think the first time I I joined your space was when you were around episode fifty-seven, also.
And just now you are on episode ninety. That's that's huge leap. You know you've done well. Yeah.
Thank you. You're welcome. We have yeah we have Chichi here. Chichi is also kind of new to Kadano.
Okay. Hi Chichi. Welcome. Thank you, Nana. Yeah. I hope Kadano is treating you well so far. Yes.
I'm just trying to. I'm just trying to adapt. But I must say the community is welcoming.
So thank you all. Yes. Yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad. Thank you for, you know, um, exploring
and finding out about us, and then also trying to connect with the individuals in the ecosystem.
That's, I think, that is one of our major strengths as as a blockchain. Our community, very vibrant.
You know, lots of diverse expertise and opinions, and you know, backgrounds.
But then we all still find ways and means to help each other as and when it is necessary.
So I'm glad that you have also met. You know the right side of the community, of course.
Maybe very soon, or maybe later, you would you would find one or two lapses,
but then that doesn't necessarily define the entire community. So when you get there,
just know that it's part of the process. Yeah. You're welcome. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Um, Nana,
please can you give a brief? Wait, so Nana, you did not welcome me too. I'm I'm jealous, Joe.
Which which kind pattern with this one now? Nana, please. No, Nana is not Ibo now. Nana is Nigerian,
so Nana, please welcome you to to Kadano. Thank you. Okay, Nana, that's fun, Don. That's true.
So sorry, so sorry, so sorry. Apologize for that. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean, sorry, Don.
That's how it goes. I was waiting for Ayomi to probably mention your name.
I don't know your real name, but I see Don Carrents. So hi, Don. You're welcome
to the Kadano community as well. I don't know how long you've been here,
but I'm pretty sure that for whatever number of months you've been around, you know,
you are probably getting to enjoy the ecosystem that we have over here. And you know,
it is it is my wish that you know I know anybody that comes on Cardano definitely come
because they have something that they want to work on. They have either a product that
they want to work on, or they have an idea or a vision that they are thinking of
how to bring it to light. And you know, Cardano has definitely and would always be one of the places
where You know, when you come and you share your ideas, you can get a team to help you build it out,
and then you know, get people to actually use it. So it is my hope that whatever brought you
to Kadano, you'll be able to achieve it sooner or later, and also for us to also benefit as
an ecosystem at large. And I also see, I see Yomzi, I see MJ, and I also see Marushi also,
Marushi also joining us. Welcome guys to a Yomi space where it's all about Kadano new covers,
rendering support to them. You know, I am more like an OG. In this ecosystem, I've been around
since 2019, so I'm happy to you know help in any way, shape, or form I can,
provided it aligns with the visions of Qatar and all at large. So, just hit me up,
and I'll be happy to respond and also render any support I have I have as well. And of course,
Ayomi, thanks for having me here. I'm going to be here for until 9 p.m. UTC. So, yeah.
Thank you so much, Nana Sapo. Huh? I have a few questions for you. Before, before that,
let's say hi to um Yomsi first before Mauricio. Yomsi, hi. Gem, gem, everyone. Yeah. Gem, Iomi. Gem.
Gem, Dokoren. Gem, Nana. Mauricio. Bless fingers and MGL. Everybody's doing great. Yeah,
it's nice to be here again. I told you I'll make your space this week, and I did.
That last two weeks, narrow. Please, I want to hear some clapping, please, some emojis. Well, yeah,
yeah, yeah. It's nice to be here with everyone. So where's Longman? Longman is meant to be here.
Longman, Longman has broken up with me. You don't follow another woman. I told you to leave that boy
since next year would be sharp for you now. Yeah, and also I saw your event last week. Congrats.
Giga charge, nice, nice, nice one. When, when Delta, when Delta, Ayomi, put your mic please,
so that this is the recorded speech. I hold your account. No worries, we will look into that.
We'll look into that. Okay, that looks impressive. Thank you, thank you, ma. Thank you, thank you.
Thank to be here. Yeah. Yeah, so let's move to Mauricio. Hi, Mauricio. Hey, hello. Hi.
Thank you so much, Ayomi, for this space. First of all, I have to say that I don't speak English, so
but I'm gonna try to do my my best, okay? I am from Chile. I am software developer.
I like to describe myself like Cardano builder because I been involving into Cardano ecosystem
since 2018, and I I was alternate delegate in the during the constitutional convention in Argentina
in 2024, and well I I had the pleasure to to meet a with important people there.
Even I had the opportunity to talk with Charles Hoskinson that time, that for me was
a great opportunity. And well, I I want to give my knowledge, my experience to the ecosystem
with my partner Rodrigo OyarzΓΊn, who is the rep. We create a platform,
a governance platform called Cardumen.io that you could see in my profile. If you want to to look
how it how it works, well, I'm here to to share with you and ask and respond questions that
you could have. Thank you so much, Ayomiyan, for for the opportunity to to be here.
Thank you so much, Marishio, and I know I've been seeing around for a couple of weeks now.
I see you you do join the space. Thank you so much for being around, and thank you
for finally um grabbing the mic today. Because I know you don't usually speak on the space,
just like join, listen, and then when we are done, you go that kind of thing.
But I really appreciate you grabbing the mic today. Thank you so much. Um,
before I move to asking some questions, let's say hi to Blessed Fingers. Hi, Blessed Fingers. Hi.
Hi, Dave. Uh, Jim. Jim, everything good? Personal space, generally. And for me, I'm good. Okay.
Good to know you're good. That's why I'm here. And how are you doing, Iomi?
I we still have a conversation. We have like, uh, Jim, Jim, everything good? Once
again. Jim, Jim, let's just be guys. Thank you. Thanks for being here, as usual. Okay, Nana Safo,
I'm so glad you are here today, you and Mavisio. So most of our questions will be directed to you.
But before that, let's talk about. I'm trying to. Okay, please explain. Okay,
you are a member of the civic committee at Intersex. If I'm correct, right, Nana? Great.
So can you like give us An explanation of what Intersect is generally,
and maybe then you can now give an overview of different committee, and then maybe your own as well.
So, like new people we have here can understand what um the role of Intersect is in Cardano. Well,
uh, this is uh you know even even though it is asked very simply, it is actually very extensive,
right? But I'll try and simplify it as much as I can so that you know everybody can understand what
it takes. To have intersect as an organization, you know, on Cardano and what they are also doing.
So intersect basically was introduced out of the CIP 1694, that actually sorts to
you know the organization of the event that happened in Argentina, which is
the Constitution Convention, which Mauricio was talking about earlier on. So intersect, you know,
just as you know, we introduce governance, which is decentralized governance on Cardano.
There was a need to have a body that would. See to it that you know activities are being done
as they are supposed to be done, and also resources are being placed at
where they are supposed to be placed, so that you know events can happen
and also you know people can be educated about you know governance itself and also you know
several other things can actually move as you know Cardano continues to grow. So
if anybody wants to know what Intersect is, I would say it is basically the organization
that was set up to steward Cardano governance, right? And in terms of stewarding Cardano governance,
you know. It it cannot be set as a standalone entity because definitely Cardano, as we all know,
was founded. It has some founding entities that we know about, which is we knew Emergo, we knew
Cardano Foundation, we also know Iogen, right? So now Intersect becomes sort of the fourth entity,
or I wouldn't say founding entity, but fourth prominent entity in Cardano.
The only difference is that intersect is member-led organization, so it is you, it is me,
it is anybody else who wants to make meaningful impact in Kerala governance,
that puts uh puts together forms intersect right, and then um how can people
or how do people actually come together to form this intersect, you know um intersect has
its own constitution and needs to bylaws and out of it you know communities are set up to allow
people to contribute meaningfully to uh you know um the vision. And you know there are
several committees. You know, like you mentioned, for instance, I am part of the service committee.
There is a membership and community committee. There is the product committee. There is, you know,
TSC. There's ISC, and then there's also budget committee and the rest.
They all have their individual functions or objectives that they are working on. You know,
as part of moving parts of or moving pieces of the intersector as a as a vehicle for driving
Kano governance. So. Now, what that means is that it presents members with opportunity,
given their diverse backgrounds and expertise, to also be able to contribute meaningfully to,
you know, governance as it grows. So, if you are a member, or even if you are not a member,
but you are in the Karena ecosystem and you are looking at how you can also contribute to
Karena meaningfully, one machinery you can actually leverage is intersect,
and that is by becoming a part of, you know, either the committees through elections
or Working groups that are, you know, situated beneath these committees.
And you don't have to be elected to actually be a part of a working group.
You just have to find that particular working group, you know, join their meetings,
share your opinions, you know, contribute to what they are doing, and then that is it.
You are part of the working group. But of course, before you even get access
to these working groups, you would have to visit the InterSet member dashboard area, and then also,
if you don't have an account, just sign up, you know, and then. Maybe make your $10 subscription
for annual. I mean, $10 fee for annual subscription, and then from there you can now join
these working groups and contribute meaningfully, right? There are a lot of benefits,
but you can actually access all of them on the member dashboard area. So, briefly,
I would say InterSet is a machinery that was basically set up
to drive Carano governance to you know its vision or mission as we want to get to.
Yes, um, thank you so much, Nana, for, um, I just wanted him to like give a proper, um, explanation
or like a brief of what intersect is, because he's more involved in intersect than I, you know,
so I wanted him to like give us more, um, um, better explanation kind of thing,
and he has done justice to that, um, he has said everything that. That needs to be talked about.
Like he gave like an overview, and I'm very sure that, um, in one way or other,
we've been able to grasp what intersect is all about. Um, why we need or why there is, you know,
intersect and Cardano and all. And if you have any question, you can raise your hand
and or can just meet yourself and speak. I see don't comment on this or. Okay. Yeah. Thank you,
Nana. Um, I appreciate um the way you handled this. Um, so I have a quick question. So,
in regards to um being part of the working group, um, do you mind like giving more clarity to that
and what it entails? Also. Um. Yeah. Um. What I will do is I'll I will share a link.
I'll share a link in the chat, and then you can have access to. You know
the intersect knowledge base where you will now be able to, uh, you know,
look at the various working groups because trust me, there are a lot of working groups
that are currently working on different, um, uh, you know, ideologies,
and that is basically how they are set up. They are set up to enable, you know,
members to be able to work on pieces that they want. They they think is necessary
for governance to move forward. So, for instance, if you come to um the service committee
where I belong, uh, we used to have. A working group on governance education.
We used to have a working group on governance incentives. We used to have a working group
on constitutional amendment process, right? And all of these different working groups have
their own visions that they are looking to achieve for, you know, Cardano governance. So,
for instance, if I take um, if I take the constitutional amendment process,
it was set up basically because we identified that people were having challenges with, you know, um,
uh, proposing constitutional amendment amendments uh for for for the for the ecosystem
or for Cardano. And this is evident because sometime, you know, last year, even into this year,
a very, a very, a very good, you know, member, known as Yuta, wanted to submit some, you know,
wanted to propose some changes to the constitution that we have now. And what what what happened was
that he had to go through several iterations of submitting governance action. And mind you,
each governance action submitted means that a hundred thousand ADA is being locked for
at least thirty days. And you know, so if if Utah wanted to commit a change to the constitution
and had to go through several loops, I think he went through about four or five loops,
and was simply because D reps were not aligning with what he wanted to you know change
or the kind of changes he wanted to effect on the constitution, and D reps needed more clarity.
You know, needed him to do a little bit of work, needed him to. You know,
give the community a space to be able to contribute to it before they would finally approve.
And so he went through about five situations, which means that he had to lock hundred thousand ADA
for five different times, right? For thirty thirty days on five different times. And you know,
finally, you know, DFs agreed that okay, it's good to go. You know, and or,
but then what what what it means is that there was lack of coordination. You know, he could,
or I mean, he he he mentioned that you know he had people participating. In the process,
but there were there was lack of evidence to that, and for that matter,
the reps found it difficult to, you know, actually agree or approve to it.
So we we set up this working group, and this working group definitely consists of members
of intersect, and then they came up with solution which is to build a portal that allows
people to submit constitutional amendments. And once they submit the amendments, you know,
the D reps have the opportunity to actually interrogate the process and also participate in terms
of contributing to. The amendment itself before you know it finally moves on chain for D reps
to actually vote on. So what it means is that instead of going through several iterations
of governance action submission, now you're going to have a portal where you have you know
members actually engaging with the process. So it means that we are cutting out
that iteration phase. You just go once, and then you go once because you know that you have
the support of D reps, and then you know they vote on it, and then it goes through,
and then that is it, right? So this is a problem, a common problem that was identified,
and then a working group was set up. To develop a solution to the problem, so that is what each
and every other working group is working on. So there could be a working group that identifies
that whenever there is time for budgeting, there are serious issues that is happening. So.
We need to sit and think of possible solutions that we could actually effect to make
the budgeting process or the budgeting season seamless, right? So, one or two people,
three people come together, you know, and then they start to think about the issue,
and then before you know, they come up with a solution, and then now they will be termed
or they will be defined as a working group because then the the committee
under which they are operating, which probably would be the budget committee,
would help them with a charter, and then after the char through the charter,
they would define their mission, their vision, the objectives, those involved,
and then what have you, and then they work on it as well. So, in the working group,
it's just coming on board, you know, leveraging on your expertise and that of others as well
to build solutions to problems that is affecting Kadena governance. Because we want
governance to move, we want governance to be seamless. We want people to experience
Kadena governance as one of the best Web3 governance protocols ever. So, you know,
and we we understand that there's going to be problems, there's going to be challenges,
and that is the reason why people need to be around to put to their their expertise, you know,
to test and build solutions to these problems. And that is why the working group was set up.
To be functioning under the various committees, right? I don't know if that answers your question,
but I believe it answers a bulk of your question. And then, if I am to differentiate between it
and the service and the committees, you know, the committees are more like an enabling environment
that allows people to actually, you know, build out solutions to problems. So. For instance,
if we take the budget committee, they are there to review, to draft frameworks, you know,
to discuss issues that surrounds budgeting, you know, in governance. Basically,
that's what they're doing. Just as in a series committee, we are there to make sure that, excuse me,
education reaches the people. As far as Kaduna governance is concerned, right? There are other,
there are others which is uh who who also have their own visions and their missions
and what they are working on. For instance, the open source community, um, the coder community,
which are very more those ones are very technical as well as the technical steering committee.
Those ones are technical for those who are developers and who are interested in, you know, um,
the technical type of Kaduna like Mauricio. Those ones are there for those individuals as well.
But if you are interested in maybe events, you know, outreach, you know, education,
then you can now look at stuff like MCC, which is a membership and community committee.
You can also look at the service committee, and then you know the rest.
Then you are able to just give off your experience. But of course,
you would have to be to be recognized as a member, as a voting member.
You would have to be elected by you know the interset members. That is a paid interset member.
Those who are You know, either individual associate or individual individual associate
or individual founding member, right? And then those ones can vote vote you in,
and then you will now have a voting seat, which is you can make credit card decisions
for the committee. But then, of course, you can also join in on their on committee meetings as as
as an observer, and then you'll be able to listen in on what is happening in various committees.
Wow, wow! Thank you for that. Um, I really appreciate how you broke it down.
And I'm happy to see that I've seen the the service for me. So, Ayomi, watch your back, okay?
But that's by the way. I might be the person to like put you in to intercept one, okay?
The current. Um, thank you so much, Nana, for that. Um, if you guys check what I pinned up there,
you would see a post from the Membership and Community Committee. I don't know if you guys
can see it on the jumbotron. You would see um a post about get involved with
the Intercept MCC Working Group. And all, so um, you can actually just go through the post
to explore and you know see what all of these things about. But I think it's basically
about getting involved the membership and um community committee, so you can you know help support
their mission, across engagement outreach and all. So you can just check the check the post
and explore, right? Um, and I think Nana have done justice to. Um, intersect,
and even talks about different committees there, from MCC down to products and um open source
and the rest of it. Thank you so much, Nana. We really appreciate it. So,
anyone interested in intersect can always um explore um the intersect um maybe X account
or their websites or something. If you go to intersect um X account, you see I think
they they actually included their websites. Yeah, their website is is there.
If you check their timeline, you will see their website there. So take your time to explore
and do your own research. Yes. Um. Any more questions for Nana? Because Nana Nana will be leaving in
about three minutes. Okay. Okay. Okay. How are you? Thanks for joining. I'm lucky. Lucky.

And of course, how great you are. Um, I'm just about stepping out, but then I wanted to highlight
the fact that I've I've put some resources in the chat for those who are interested
in exploring more about Intersect. So there's um a knowledge base link in there. That is,
if you want to read more about Intersect, when you go there, you have access to tons
of information to actually. Read about, and also if you want to look up the website,
probably also look up the member dashboard area. You know you can visit the Interset website that
I've also put in the chat, and also be able to access what is there. And also in addition,
there are also sometimes careers that do pops up in Interset. There are some career opportunities,
so you may also also want to look it up. And then if you find interest in the careers
available currently, you can probably apply. And then if everything goes well,
probably become a part of the Interset staff. But yeah, let's let's catch up next Thursday,
and I hope to, you know, see you guys once again and then have a nice chat once again.
But until then, please stay safe and enjoy your rest of day as well as the weekend. Thank you,
thank you, Nana. Thanks for the knowledge and the resources shared. Thank you so much.
