Like they can get rank and medals and all sorts of badges and stuff.
You know, things that gamers like in these type of games.
Unreal Kingdoms have been unveiling.
They've been doing a lot of demos because
they've been switched they've switched they've migrated should i say to the uh what you call
that thing um that new five six yeah five six a version of unreal engine and that's got some bells
and whistles on it and you can do a lot of things with that uh so and it's not just um it's not just
a quick uh a quick uh quick copy paste put that file
over there from the 5.4 version into the 5.6 the apis are different it has to be a lot of coding
and stuff but when you see the version of 5.4 side by side to the 5.6 version and it's been
recently demoed with cake island that's the first one they've done in 5.6 and the devs have been
working flat out on that because as you know i mean anybody that goes into the discord there in unreal kingdoms in
the cake uh discord the token gated discord you can see the devs working in there every day because
their screens are live they're streaming and you can even talk to them and say hey hey what's that
thing you're doing there and they'll they'll answer you you know and you know these dev devs are
pretty shit hot they are um they were hired from activision
so uh activision um activision only hired the best and they've got a lot of them and now um
unreal kingdoms has a bunch of those devs working in there and the the whole thing with because 5.6
only came out um about a month ago june june 3rd it was released and it's looking likely that unreal
kingdoms will be the first be the first to go live
with their ecosystem
using that across all of the consoles
so that's kind of spectacular
you hear Code Compiler when he's talking about it
he's doing weekly streams also
two or three streams a week live on Kik
and he's demoing it
in there as well for anybody to see
who's not in the Discord
and it just looks amazing.
I'm not a gamer, but when I look at the old textures,
and I look at the new version on this 5.6,
because it has so many more features compared to the older version.
And this is what the consoles want everybody to move over to,
because it helps the consoles uh networks as
well uh because it reduces the send receive packets on all of their server communications
and it's just super super super efficient so that's what i've been doing i've just been making
a load of weapons and other things that will go into the marketplace and coming up with quests
and stuff like that and uh heading up all the 3d animations
because uh members of the team on hc hogs that are holding a one of one those one of ones will
become npcs in the game so every player that comes into the game uh will interact with those npcs and
those npcs will be the quest givers within the game tricky that's awesome i i want to make some weapons i've i
i used to design weapons all the time when i was younger and i was almost like doing that as like
a career path um and then i was like yeah no maybe i don't want to make weapons for for a living i
i don't know i i was i was a little i think i was a little too good at it i
think but i got kicked off of like airfields when i was like 12 because you're not allowed
to have remote control aircraft with with live fire rockets well listen listen tricky i am my
npc in the game is general swine uh there will be a military camp in the game it's called camp slaughter uh it is under falls under hog com which is hog command and i'll be building a faction up in there
of uh called swine force which will be the these uh a special a special elite unit that will go on
all these military type quests within their hog city and uh you know slay the vampires do this
whatever because we do have vampire hogs as well and uh you know i'm not even a and, you know, slay the vampires, do this, whatever,
because we do have vampire hogs as well.
And, you know, I'm not even a gamer, but, you know,
I'm creative enough to come up with a lot of stuff that will work.
A lot of these quests, I'll just pull from fucking IRL missions I was on,
you know, and kind of combine them, tone them down a little bit maybe.
And, you know, if you want to make any weapons, man, and, uh you know just images or weapons or whatever shoot them over to me man we'll fbx
them and get them in the game because i'm making a bunch of things like sniper rifles and all this
shit because we're gonna have there's gonna be a lot of ai in this game that's be able to do certain
things i mean for example when you're using it when a player is using a sniper rifle you know
there's going to be different sniper rifles you're going to be firing them at different ranges.
So let's say a player has bought a .50 caliber sniper rifle within the store.
Well, he's got to be able to use that.
So Camp Slaughter will have four different ranges.
We're going to have a CQB kill house down there as well.
And when you go into that to do your rehearsals and your practices and all that,
what if you get killed?
You're not going to get any UK tokens.
But at the end of the day, the kill house can be,
the walls can be redesigned in there.
So it's not like in a boring game
where you go into a room to do something.
You know, okay, the enemy NPCs are going to pop out
in that room on the left.
Well, you go in, next time you go in,
there may be no room on the left
because the whole thing is instantly reconfigured.
And that's like modern shoot houses these days that special forces train in the rooms the walls are modular you can move
them around so when you're going in and you're doing another another interval of that shoot
the room is set up differently the targets are different than everything like that you know
so things like that and then when you buy the weapons in the marketplace you got to get down
there and you got to like test them out on the range.
But of course you got to buy the ammo.
That's consumables.
So we do have sniper rifles.
We have normal assault rifles.
We have shotguns.
We have pistols and we have melee weapons.
A lot of melee weapons in there as well.
Bow type string weapons as well.
Crossbows, all the rest of it.
We got these weapons that fire these uh these um
wooden type um um what do you call that wooden type darts or whatever because you got to kill
the vampires through the heart with them and all the rest of it we got these grenades made
from silver man because there's a big werewolf horns in there as well so you throw a grenade
you can wipe out more of them uh we got silver bullets you can put them in the weapons as well
all sorts of like um proximity uh explosives and remote detonated grenade launcher bullets.
I want to make a seeker rocket where I can.

anything stinger missiles so we're gonna have all sprays in there as well
dogs are gonna be able to see you can get your parachute wings if you do a call in a warthog
if you do a quest where you jump out of a plane to get behind enemy lines on a quest in there
you're gonna get your jump wings you can put that in your inventory. You can wear it on your cargo. Look at me. I need a second operational
jump. You know? We're going to
have Apache attack helicopters.
We're going to have all the works, man.
Awesome. It's going to be
fun, man. And those explosives
will be real fun when you've got
the helicopters and shit
flying around and cars driving around.
We've already made
some 3d
videos not game footage but marketing videos where we do have a uh an apache apache uh a gun
ship coming in and just mowing down these uh these mutant hogs in the street you know uh we have made
a bunch see the whole thing is we've made a bunch of 3d videos uh to introduce the new one-of-one
npcs and i think about six of them are out right now,
floating around on timelines.

Has one-of one holders uh of the
npcs themselves uh the team kind of have um creative license on uh building their own quests
and they're coming up with some of their own um their own unique items that will be within the
store see we need to we need to be looking at having maybe like um you know a thousand items
you know ready to go with the storage or in the beta phase but not release them all at the same time you know drop them in because there will be limited items as well i
mean there's going to be um hover bikes and um um you know air flying mounts of some sort and also
road bikes as well with different skins i've like i mean i was i'm a diehard gamer i was i got paid
to play video games starting in elementary school
because I was beating games for kids
and stuff and making cheat codes
and crazy shit.
I got ideas for weapons and shit for days.
If I can get paid to create
weapons in the game,
I would do that.

it's all voluntary but your weapons would appear in the game right well if i could sell the weapons
in the game on the on the uh on the uh like is there there's a storefront right where you could
sell you could exchange i mean there's a mark each world in there is going to have their own
marketplace so yeah whatever whatever they want to sell in their marketplace they're free to do
yeah so if i could if i could manufacture weapons and sell them on a video game you know that would be i'd be willing to do that i don't want to do it in real life i feel like
it's like no that's not good karma but i'll do it i'll do it for the game i've been making so
many fucking weapons i feel like i'm victor boot right now at the moment uh proper arms dealer
that's great you know yeah i was thinking about that like if you could make it's fun at the end it's fun at the end of the day trigger because this is not something i've ever done before
now designing all the and all the rest of it is not not really a big deal as i was a commercial
artist before i joined the military way back in the day and i did everything by hand there was no ai or anything like that back then and uh you know i enjoy doing it and i find it
therapeutic are you doing like are you using ai or are you using blender to make these things what
are you doing to like we're using for all of the animations that we're making we're actually using
a combination of blender and unreal engine and we do some edits in cap cut as well

minute but um that's what i knew and these are all in xbf files too right yeah they're going to be
uh once we find once we we do the designs initially and then uh we look at which ones
that we're going to put in the marketplace and those ones will be the ones that will be fbx because people could
then they could like blow them up and like 3d print them in full size and shit too like people
could do some fun stuff with that oh for sure you know there's a lot of things i mean now obviously
for the blunt force trauma weapons they're easier to make because they don't really have any shape
keys on them or additional animations
but when you're looking at making
a sniper rifle well you've got to have animations
on that as well and you've got to make sure
it's done in the proper
type formats and stuff like that because
certain things on that will be modular
so the bipod, the scope
the cocking bolt
and the magazine changes
and all the rest of it.
As compared, if you're just making an axe,
well, you're just swinging it and lopping heads off or whatever.
But for all of the weapons,
a little bit more work needs to go into them
to animate the modular parts on those.
