well-known entities in the industry like Coinbase, Binance, PayPal, Robinhood, Stripe, Ripple,
crypto.com, they're all collaborating with Beacon Network and they're trying to launch,
or I think they have already launched the first real-time crypto crime response team.
And they'll have this built-in connection to stablecoins and law enforcement and exchanges.
And their main goal, they're designed to prevent stolen funds from leaving the blockchain.
So that might be promising and might also give some security and assurance to retail

that's big for sure i think that you know when you see these big hacks go on and different
protocols and they try to move and and you know wash the money or whatever um if they have a

to a certain degree but but still still uh still very good i think though that there's a whole
layer though of crime that that's that well i i guess they say being rewarded but
out there that might fall under that umbrella but if it tricked but if it gets to a certain
level it'd be bigger like if you're rugging meme tokens and small projects and nft projects and
doing pre-sales and not launching and shit like that you're probably not going to come up big enough on the radar, um, or get, or come up
fast enough on the radar for them to, to clamp the funds down. Like if you rugged a meme coin for a
couple million dollars right now and, you know, took out, you know, a hundred or 200 grand,
it's still over the amount to be considered, you know, felony, right. Theft or whatever the actual
thing would be for, for, for robbing some money. But the response time on that, when you go to be like something like the community or even one person to file that in and to get it going, it's a lot different than when a protocol tweets out, hey, we just got fucking hacked for four hundred million or $40 million, right? Someone said if somebody does a crypto crime, I don't know if it's $5,000 or $10,000,
you can go to the FBI website and just file for claims.
I wonder how long it takes them to actually investigate, follow up, and respond.
I mean, you could file it, but if people are rugging it, they'll probably be able to get that money off chain or out before they would do it compared to this organization that's less like, oh, Cetus was, say, hacked.
And then they just like clamp it down because I don't even think they know how to chase it down.
Well, not even chase it down. What they're trying to do is they see like the wallets or where it's going.
And then they just they make it so that none of those wallets could could you know do any transactions or with all the big all the big players i mean there's still going to be ways i'm
sure um to move some of the funds around and then and get them out um where there's a will there's
a way always i think a lot of the funds end up getting blocked and then and end up in limbo like
i don't think they end up getting returned in those situations, right? It's just that they can't take them off. So I don't know
how that works. Like, let's just say, you know, 10 million was, was hacked from a protocol or
decks or a bridge or some shit like that. Right. And they stop it from, from the hackers from
actually being able to use the money or take it out. But who the fuck is putting the money back
in the pockets of the exchange and all the people that might've lost through or wherever through it. That's the only unsolved
question. It's like, sure, the hackers don't get away with it. And then they try to hunt them down
to get the money back for the people. But if that shit's like Lazarus group or whatever they are in
North Korea and they have all the shit, you're not, you might, they might not be able to spend
it, but you're not getting that shit back. So I don't know. I don't know how that situation works.
