if you are staking on ETH you just unstake

nft london event and um yeah i remember that one that's when we met you guys in person

NFT side. I don't know. It's called NFT London, but yeah, I've not been keeping up, so I can't say.
Yeah, that's why we always said, guys, no matter the prices, really enjoy the moment because those were really special moments,
right? I met Metazic during NFT London 2021, and I think that was just maybe a few weeks or maybe
at the same time as NFT NYC 2021 when the first Ape Fest took place, right? We couldn't travel
there because the virus restrictions, but those were crazy,
amazing times. And we are still so early that you can have such a great time and you will look back
like we are looking now and you'll be like, damn, those were crazy, crazy, amazing times. So
really enjoy every moment because, you know, everything's changing constantly as Web3 is
changing constantly. So so yeah but those were
crazy times we had that twitter space from double decker bus which was also so wild i'll never
forget that it was crazy and the funny thing is that the the bus was actually rented um by pranksy
right and one of my apes is from prankanksy, so it's crazy. It's

We had a brief hiatus from drops between December and then.
Web3 Anarchy is our first set back and it's on base this time. It's just, yeah, the set just
finished over the past few days. It was live and yeah, the whole purpose of the card app is to be
multi-chain, allow us to tap into different communities, making it easier than ever to collect and really sort of, you know, tapping into what people love with collecting and what brought us on the space originally with the art, the community vibes, the culture behind them and that's what we're trying to infuse with all of the
different drops that we're releasing on the card app whether it's the board apes whether it's
web3 anarchy which was with all of the different um i'd say unhinged communities that are very
meme centric like nakamigos goblin town um wreck guy etc so really celebrating the sort of nft communities that
you know make this sort of place so special and obviously obviously chimper's being involved at
the centerpiece um but yeah that drop just concluded it was really fun uh we had like a
super cool chase card within that you could actually redeem this chase card to get prizes like a
Goblin Town NFT, Chimpers NFT, artwork from Timpers, artwork from Grimplin and yeah you know
just really exciting fun rewards and obviously every card that's digital on the card app comes
with a physical as you know you mentioned you're waiting to get yours. But yeah, it's a really fun way to sort of tie together the whole sort of collectible
experience.
But it's not just, yeah, the digital drops in Web3, we're sort of expanding outwards
as well with our Web2 socials audience.
We're releasing an online shop coming soon and we'll be at the licensing expo in vegas in may
and sort of showcasing those there and some of the products there will have nfc chips so you can tap
and redeem fun collectibles as well so really trying to onboard like within web3 communities
but also outside of it as well. And always just shipping new features.
Like you mentioned in this set,
we introduced a really cool way to pay using Relay.
So you could literally use any coin or token in your wallet.
And like you said, you came across some
that you didn't even realize you had in your wallet,
which is just a really cool feature,
making it easier than ever to collect. And yeah consistently iterating it making it more fun long term we want to sort of gamify the
app and build on top of like the collectible experience and um you know make it a bit more
of like a retention based app and have people come there just not just for the drops but um continuously um so yeah
there's a lot of fun on the card app side and obviously we've got the ape chain drops that i
mentioned at the start we're looking forward to releasing those um sometime over the summer i
think they'll be coming to ape chain so that's something to look forward to um and um yeah we'll have some really cool
prizes alongside that as well so yeah on the card app side like a lot a lot of fun stuff

So what's your strategy with your social media
and your animations?
Because you don't mix it up with Web3, right?
You don't mix like NFTs and Instagram.
So how do you think about it
and how you want to utilize that for the future?
Yeah, no, definitely definitely it's been like a
obviously like a core part of like proliferating chimpers as a brand and sort of extending beyond
just um like the web3 community obviously want to see chimpers like known and loved um far and wide
and like you mentioned earlier when you're sort of scrolling there's so much
like noise and like just rubbish on social media and obviously like the core of Chimpers is about
adventure and making you smile and making you feel good and joyful experiences and that's
sort of sparked us to create that and create Chimpy and Friends as like a mascot for Chimpers
as like this front-facing character brand that is you know inspired and infused with all things
Chimpers so yeah really to create content that resonates with people through short form and
yeah over the past two years we've just been continually growing it and obviously
like you mentioned it is separate like to an extent to like web3 like because the people
who come across chimpers on these socials probably have no idea about like the broader ecosystem or
um like the nft collectibles themselves unless they do some digging but um yeah i mean the the whole
sort of goal is to build fandom and build like a really strong community obviously chimpers nfts
at the core the like the elite status and the sort of sought after um uh you know elite community on that front. But when we're sort of leaning into collectibles or online shop and e-commerce
and just broader brand goals of growing Chimpers,
you obviously want to do that,
whereby you're not just solely relying on just the small web through community.
You want to really grow outwards.
And that's just been the strategy for us.
It's to really build up a big audience and help them to fall in love with the
characters and what Chimpers is all about, really.
And yeah, we've, you know, over the past few years,
we've been navigating different sort of strategies and by no means we've cracked the code
but yeah there's you know some really great success at the moment we we smashed through 600k
on Instagram and TikTok the last month which we've been trying to sort of surpass for a while and the
yeah the trajectory's you know going up again and the momentum is building. And yeah, we've got, you know, a lot of cool things cooking on that side, like the online shop, obviously.
We've got our Minecraft world that we've just launched.
So there's various ways for people within the Web2 world to get onboarded to Chimpers.
And it's all about sort of at the same time like bridging web 3 and web 2 together
in fun ways that they can understand like the cards and when they collect plushies and tapping
them to redeem collectibles which are nfts under the hood but give them that sort of opportunity to
not be freaked out by all of the complexities and um the stigmas of nfts and just creating fun experiences really so um
yeah that's the sort of main goal for us and um yeah really growing chimpers into something that
is um you know known and loved everywhere
that's really yeah go ahead go ahead beast it's impressive guys i'm i'm checking the instagram
now and i see that even just a week ago you had a reel that hit five five point nine million
views then you had like a four days ago you had a reel that hit 1.2 million views. So these are really like insane numbers.
And when I scroll through, it's like a lot of views.
16.8 million on one of them also.
And I see now you're using this like one cohesive character,
like this like small, cute, little chimpie.
Is it also like the strategy, like having one particular character,
not really mixing them so that people can you know get to know them better?
Yeah like yeah it's an interesting one as well on that front.
Obviously there's Chimpy who's like the small mischievous sort of character. Then there's Master Chimpo, the sensei of the dojo, who's like more of the
Web3 mascot. And then a bunch of animal friends who actually derive from Chimpa's traits. So
like whether that's Octi the octopus, which is like a head trait for Chimpas, Mr. Quark, who's
like a duck, who's also a head trait, Cuddles, who's a panda who's um also a trait on like the the shoulder of chimps
so we try to uh infuse these like characters and mascots from the chimper's original collection and
you know make them more sort of lovable and chimpy who did feature in a lot of the content
was just like a fan favorite and obviously master chimpo featured and um chim of the content was just like a fan favorite. And obviously Master Chimpo featured
and Chimpo's, the core character featured a lot as well.
But yeah, Chimpy has just sort of evolved
into this sort of icon that everybody knows
and loves really on the content side.
So yeah, sticking with them and obviously,
you know, cameo in like different characters as well within the reels.
But they're sort of the main mascot, really, that we're trying to push.
And what represents Chimpers is this sort of cute, friendly, joyful and a character that makes you smile.
So, yeah. And obviously, like the the the the reach under the
numbers are insane and like it has been like you know pretty mind-blowing like all organically and
sort of just hitting the algorithm but at the same time we're still sort of striding to build
the community as well and really retain you know audiences yeah, we've got lots of different ways to bring them into the world and yeah, continually
trying to grow it.
But yeah, it is impressive and we're pretty proud to really be pushing Shumpers as like
a Web3 IP and also just growing it for the community as well. So it's awesome.
It's so incredible. Like, is there any way to monetize it with Instagram or it's really like mainly building the awareness, keep going with the cute reels, getting bigger number of followers and like keeping it this style?

there's like stepping stones for us and so far it has primarily been um like purely content based
and trying to build the fandom and the community but obviously our online shop is launching um
hopefully next month sometime so there'll be like a lifestyle line of products that,

And obviously the Web3 community and, you know, different drops as well that we can release,
but also, you know, building up the sort of licensing front long term is like a goal for us.
And as like a new IP, it takes a longer, more longer time frame to get into that bracket,
because obviously there needs to be measurable results and they want to take,
they don't want to take risks on new IP.
But it's all about these like small incremental milestones that we're trying to reach.
So, you know, opportunities like collaborations.
We did a cool collab with Meet Quack, who some people might not know, but they're like a Web3 born IP as well, who are these cute, lovable ducks that are actually derived from nouns.
And they have the nouns noggles on them.
And they're, you know, absolutely crazy on Web2 socials.
We did a fun content collab with them.
And we have a really cool one that's coming at the end of this month
with a big beverage brand in the US.
We're doing a really cool content collab and a T-shirt drop as well.
So all of these sort of brand awareness and like um yeah sort of
awareness building um collabs we're trying to do as well and just building the sort of
brand equity for chimpers really like slowly and steadily and then sort of yeah the monetization
on a bigger scale will come but, just trying to continually build the community
and make Chimp as a really appealing sort of brand
to be a part of really as well.
Yeah, like the consistency that you guys have,
it's just very, I would say unseen in Web3 much.
So that's perfect.
And Insight, I want you to double click a little bit on the
licensing part how do you approach that is there some uh you you approach it in like uh the
traditional web2 way uh or are you planning to somehow involve the holders or uh some some other
stuff that you have in mind yeah definitely so like for like the traditional web 2 route even um you know
chimpers for us it's all about building that sort of brand equity first where we can sort of appeal
and have you know great online shop success and great drop sellouts and really be appealing and enticing for different brands and
licenses to work with those on that front.
Content alone isn't always the best measurable thing for brands to look at,
although it's like a huge help and it's, you know,
hugely important in getting attention.
So for us, like we have to build that slowly and steadily and then over time we obviously want to bring on board holders in
whichever way we can um and experimenting with ways where we can um so it's yeah it's a it's, yeah, it's going to be sort of steps over time.
But obviously, like the goal is to not just have like the Chimpy and Friends mascots,
but the whole sort of Chimpy's universe involved and brought into the journey,
just the same way we're doing with cards right now on the card app and rewarding holders in the features.

but also at the same time being realistic

if you can uh can tell us where people can possibly meet you or meet the brand or so.

be great and um you know there's there's plenty of opportunity to do that soon um we actually have

yeah just in general excited about what the other side is doing but yeah in gaming in general you
know like we're tapping into Minecraft and obviously that was like a strategic way of sort
of you know use you know we created games in the past like with web 3 and mini games arcade

You know, I think there's a lot of limitless sort of ideas for that so we we do

are in collecting whether it's in cards whether it's in gaming content creation you know we've
been around for a few years now and one of the things that we pride ourselves on

fun way for us to onboard like perhaps some of the most engaged and like awesome creators who
don't necessarily have the means to join Chimpers.

And the way to get the awareness out there is actually through creators like yourself.
And anyone can be a creator, right? If you've got even like 800 following, then that's still
very valuable. Because if you get 100 of those guys, you're getting even better reach than

um environment where where both sides like log in and you know content creators find their uh
companies or it's more like uh yeah it works like that okay yeah so right now anyone can join the
platform so you can join as a creator or a project.
You can sign in with your ex, but obviously a lot of people are very wary about logging in with ex.
So we've added a simple email login, and then you verify that you own the ex account because that's part of the system, right?
We want to make sure that you're working with real projects and working with real creators um so then what happens is projects that are on the platform they would they would uh send
you a job offer and then it's up to you whether you want to accept it or not so if it's a meme
coin project you might be like oh i don't want to touch that right so but if it's a big project like an l1 like somnia
then you're like okay yeah hell yeah or if it's a made by apes project then you're like yeah let's
support it and you know what tino was saying tino was saying it's literally like some people don't
have a community and the biggest thing that eight chain as well as a lot of projects have the problem of is that they're stuck in an echo
chamber so right now as a grateful ape you're just engaging with a lot of Bored Ape people
so your timeline is just full of Bored Ape content but that doesn't mean that you know
people in Solana are seeing your project and that's what ApeChain has a big problem and that's
what we're also trying to solve
with ape chain so we've been trying to have conversations with people in ape chain as well
as board ape like board ape has such a massive following right but right now the only people
that are seeing it are people that might have followed them back in the bull run or the people
that are still here but if you go to a profile that is just someone that's
engaging in Solana, they're not seeing any Bored Ape content. So we've got systems, we've got AI
that actually works out, you know, how to get into these other ecosystems and how to spread
your project to all these other ecosystems. And that's really powerful. So you've got the data
aspects, so you can work out whether GratefulApe has real following. So you can look at smart
followers. Also, you can look at whether GratefulApe has any YAP score, or you can also look
at his Ethos score, because we integrate with all of these platforms as well. So, you know, it's a real smart way of doing business. And, you know,
this is just the first steps. The first steps is hiring creators and connecting projects. But later
on, it's like, you know, if you've got a project and they want to connect to another project,
that's another environment that we're going to be building out. And I, you know, I don't,
I don't feel like infrastructure projects like ours get so
much flowers you know because people are always thinking how can we increase TVL
but if you're not giving the apes the right tools to be able to grow their
projects then they're not going to be able to do that right because otherwise
they just end up getting scammed and if you're going to work with an agency out
there they charge two to three times the price of what someone would be charging.
So, you know, our platform also removes that whole middleman aspect.

If it's a small business that's got a very limited budget,
they can access people that charge $1 for a tweet,

But you've also got, because the way a creator marketing campaign should be
structured it all is almost like a pyramid structure where you have some people that
have really big following or really engaged following but then you also are creating that
community effect so if you've got people that have like 800 followers they could be charging anywhere between one dollar to five
dollars so you know there's projects on our platform right now that are hiring hundreds of
these type of creators but then we've also got like bigger projects which are hiring um you know
other other creators and that is ongoing it's like they hire them for a monthly collaboration where they
pay them a salary you know which is crazy um and it's like hey anytime we post a tweet retweet it
quote quote it and and most of the people most of the creators out there like anyone that's on x is
already doing this right but now you can actually get paid for your tweets and you can get paid for your engagement
which is really cool um and it sort of reverses that whole airdrop farming mechanism which has
been around but is actually really ineffective because this turns into a transaction and what
we found is actually it helps to build community because if i paid someone to do a tweet for me,
they naturally would follow me.
They would naturally follow my announcements
and they would actually engage.
And that's what's been happening as well.

It all makes 100% sense.
I probably, only thing I'm doing is that i mentioned that that somnia and thrive
because i believe in them and i want them to win and uh because they have that kaito thing or or

I think it's not 100% easy for content creators
and people in general here, right?
You can trade, you can probably create content,
you can do collabs,
and yeah, you don't want to do that stuff that you see.
Then you get the bad reviews on Ethos, right?
So how many, for example, how many live projects do you have right now?
And if you can share maybe like the payouts,
like so people have idea how does that work?
Yeah, so we've got about 15 projects, different mix of projects. We've got marketing agencies using our platform. We've got L1s using our platform. We've got small projects using our platform. We are still in closed beta.
accepting as projects is very limited.
We wanna make sure that there is that quality control
and that we are only allowing vetted projects
onto the platform, which is really important
because we don't wanna be in,
we don't wanna encourage scammers in the space.
We wanna make sure that that space is clean.
That's why the projects usually have an ethos score
connected to them.
And you've also got like the founders behind the project as well um and like i said you know creators at you as a creator can
choose who you work with and a lot of the times you will be seeing that there's projects that you
resonate with they're like big projects you know or they're that people that you know that have
created projects um so that's really valuable to us as a platform as well.

It'd say, look, I wanna work with you.

Beast would then get that offer.
Beast would then either accept that offer
or reject that offer.
If he accepts that offer,
then me and Beast are in a chat system
where we can converse. But usually in that
first form, you would see the content that Beast would need to tweet about. So straight
away, you know, there's a lot of transparency through the whole system. Once Beast and I
agree to the price, then the money that we're paying beast goes into escrow system beast would then
deliver the work and then once the project has said yes this is great then it would get released
um the reason it's not uh ai you know we haven't added ai there because you know there should be a
level of trust between projects and creators and we haven't had a situation where someone says oh no you know i'm not going to send beast the money um the
only time that would occur is if uh you know the i hired the wrong beast or beast just
did not deliver the work then obviously uh the project would get that money back, right? But there hasn't been a, like, if you agree to do the tweet,
then there shouldn't be any issues, right?
It's not about the quality of the tweet that's put out there.
It's not about how many views you got,
because that's always up in the air, right?
But we've got the tools that allow you
to measure average views.
You can also see a breakdown of beasts tweets um so
if you're a wallet provider you can see if he's ever tweeted about wallets you know if he's tweeted
about phantom wallet and he got x amount of views you can base whether you're hiring him based on
that as well so we've got a lot of cool tools within it
that actually make the decisions for projects much better.
