I'm a lot of wasted.
I'm going to play, doing squats, and I ain't interested in this.
You ain't making girls.
I ain't calling you my kid.
If you hop in on a shot, you tie a beating on my kid.
I'm mad in life.
I don't want to have you, cause I'm a shit.
Started drivin' in that fish, boy, steady on the shit.
I was drivin' in that Benz, and the wheels cost me red, how?
I might as well hit a bad man at Benz.
Charlie pull up to the car, always some sweats.
Dress next to my op, he set his friends up.

It's alright.
It's only like them cooking up all day.
Cooking fast.

If you want to turn it out, it's like, even if I got a fan, I'm a bitch saying, I might

So fire, the bullets, and I'll make it later Shoot it hard, then I'm going to break hard and my brother's playing Alberattice. So fire and a bullet that I'm making lettuce.
If you're the plug, then I'm the one that they plug in the sides.
It's going to be more, it's going to be better.
Bitch, I'm chasing all the names.
I'm a rock, white, white, white, shit.
So you know that name's just a ride.
But don't like them cooking up all day.
Cooking fast.
No, I got it, baby.
If you want to change, you're not this life.
I got people asking, Charlie, how to to episode four of our Wednesday night cross-community
hangout space, Chop It Up.
I'm your host, Respecter, coming to you guys live from the Little Lettuce Monsters account.
We've got a great show for you guys tonight.
Very excited to be back with you guys on Wednesday.
Show number four, Crazy how the time flies. It kind of seems like
this time last week, I was in my office and there was a leak in my ceiling and I was getting damp.
And, you know, I was getting damp because it was raining and I had a leak, but we're lettuce. So
it was kind of keeping us fresh. It feels like that was ages ago because my office is now not usable at
the ceiling cave den. But we are hosting the space from the kitchen table. I know what you're
thinking. Respecter, not new news. You ran your Monday night community space from the kitchen table.
Well, there's been a cool development.
In that meantime, I picked up another pair of speakers from Walmart because mine are buried in insulation.
And I set them up in my kitchen.
So that intro song, I feel like the insurance adjusters are going to be here later
this week. So really, I feel like the only use I'm going to get out of these speakers is that
intro song. So I hope you guys liked it. I hope you guys, I hope that was worth me dropping to
Walmart right before the space so that we could have music. Probably should have just asked Harmon
to get here at the start of the show to do that.
But it's all right, guys.
Please repost the space if you have not already.
This is episode four of Chop It Up.
Thank you for joining us this week.
We are joined by DeFi Space Donkeys.
We've got Tricky up here on the stage as well as Nala NFT.
They're welcome to come up whenever they want.
Very excited for tonight's space,
but before we get into it, I do want to say what's up to my co-host, my co-founder, Mr. Harmon.
What's up, brother? How are you doing today? Yo, yo, yo. What up? I'm ready to chop it up.
It's Wednesday. I'm pumped. Happy to be here. It's 8, wow, the day is flying today Oh man, I think I'm doing better than I was doing on Monday
I was feeling a little stressed on Monday
I'm feeling good, life is good
And can't wait to chat, to be here this evening
Well, I'm glad to hear you're doing well, Harmon,
but I will say that doesn't make much sense to me.
You're stressed during Don't Panic, It's Organic,
and then you're mellow during Chop It Up.
That's right.
I don't know, man.
I feel like you got your days mixed.
I think it might be because I'm chopping it up
that I'm so, you know, not stressed.
I hear you, man. And you know what? Chop it up is nice because on Monday, sometimes you and I have to monologue.
And we don't like that. You know what I mean?
Sometimes people like to join us at the last minute and come to the stage.
But this space, you know, we get to kind of, you know,
zip it up for a lot of the space.
We get to hear from the brands we're platforming.
So we're very excited to hang out with both Nala NFT
as well as Tricky Buddha and the DeFi Space Donkeys.
You know, I was hanging out with, well, you were with me, Harmon.
It was Nala NFT ran the first wednesday space they had i believe
they host one at eight um at 6 p.m eastern and we were episode one four weeks ago or so maybe it was
several weeks ago but very cool very cool so we recently hung out with her and then obviously
tricky in the d5 space donkeys i got to meet tricky at art basil earlier this year or end of last year rather and i've been
a defy space donkey for as long as i can remember so uh and we've had them on uh building with
buddies the uh the predecessor to this show chop it up post rebrand so we've got tricky on the
stage uh what's up? How are you doing tonight? It's Tricky Buddha from
Deep Eyes Donkeys.
Powered by weed on Solana.
Get yourself a bag of weed.
What's up, little ass monsters?
You know, you made a shift
that I did too. We just went
different directions. It's been working
out for me, though. So I
gotta stick with it.
But I hope you guys are all doing great.
Oh my goodness.
I'm doing well.
I was doing well.
Now I'm doing great, Tricky.
Dude, so I'm so used to it being the DeFi space donkey account and the Tricky account
that are notorious for this echoing that you all just witnessed.
But when the weed account asked to come up,
I knew you were up to something.
I didn't know what,
but I knew that there was some trickery going on.
So I'm glad without saying it,
I, you know,
in my subconscious,
I knew that there was going to be an echo.
It wouldn't be.
I've made standards now.
People assume they're going to get a certain package deal when I show up.
And so I can't let anyone down, you know, just flaunting the package.
Hey, let's go. Well, glad to have you joining with us on this Wednesday, man.
Again, it has been a while since we've had you on a show in this interview style.
I know that you're building quite a bit in the background.
You are quite possibly the most active mutual I have.
I'm not sure I follow or engage with any account that is –
Blake is right up there with you, I think.
But I feel like you might even take insult to that.
You might be like, no, you have no equals.
I don't know.
Well, he does engage really hard, and he gets some great impressions,
and he lost his main account.
I think if he hadn't lost his first main account, he might be ahead of me,
but because he did lose his main account and had to start over again,
I'm like a little – maybe I have like 2,000 or 3,000 on them right now.
Maybe 2,000 on them right this second.
But I squeaked a little bit ahead of MetaRides.
And most of our friends recently.
13.3K is kind of wild.
I was just under 10K this time last year.
So it's been a good year.
Definitely.
I mean that's a lot of organic growth.
I mean I do show up to three or four spaces at a time, like 80 hours a day.
I would hope I'd be getting some growth out of this.
But, yeah, it's been awesome.
And now I'm trying to do more events.
So I'm starting to think about planning something for Art Basel.
I don't know.
I'm not sure what yet.
But we've got to get something going.
It was too epic last time to not do anything this time.
So I'm writing up some pitch decks,
and I'm going to some of these bigger companies first,
like Truly Weedmaps,
some of the bigger guys that I can get a little bit more money from right off RIP.
And if they say yes, then it kind of like changes the tone of how we attack this.
But, yeah, we got until December.
So I think we can probably make some things work out.
I've already gotten a couple tentative yeses from some other old sponsors, you know, including the Cheech and Chong project.
So we got some good homies ready to roll with us.
So, yeah, let's see what happens, man.
Let's see what happens.
Hey, let's grow.
Yeah, I saw actually that you were hanging out in that space earlier today.
You know your boys got noties on.
We all got noties on.
So, yeah, dude, I was going to pull up to that if I wasn't driving in an area with horrible service.
But, no, dude, look, I love the IRL events.
I thought it was very cool to put a face to the name.
Obviously, you're doxxed, but it was cool to it was cool to chop it up with you.
IRL and do.
Yeah, that place you had in Miami was cool.
We got to do Miami again.
I know from what I heard from some friends, New York was fun, but it was not all it was
chalked up to be
but Miami seems like it's always the move everybody got sick from New York and this was the second
time I went to New York came back and was sick like last time I was sick for two months afterwards
this time it's been three weeks so far the COVID's kind of gone but like man my record's not good like
if I gotta plan it out next year,
I got to plan, okay, what am I going to do the month afterwards? Because I'm going to be basically
useless. People don't understand how much I give to these IRL events. Having an autoimmune disease
does not make it easy. It's super hard to get food. And then I keep getting sick afterwards.
I can't deal with it
If it's like two months two weeks
I think I could I could put up with two weeks if that's you know if that's all it is
But I don't know man that two month of like double pink eye last year. It was really brutal
I can't do that again
Double pink eye good lord tricky you're setting me up to make a very inappropriate joke
And I won't do it
Here's the deal Tricky
I heard him already
We used to be the canna buddies
And we were kind of rated
We weren't rated PG
Let's just say that
I really could make any joke I wanted
But Harmon has really reeled me back in
With this PG branding.
We're family friendly now, so no.
No jokes about the double pink guy.
I don't know how you got that, fam.
That's crazy.
One can only speculate, but that one will not.
Well, I was going to post up the picture of the post up top, but you said no.
I mean, the joke is right there in the top.
It doesn't even try to beat around the bush. I thought the joke was in the top. Like, it doesn't even, like, try to beat around the bush.
I thought the joke was in the bottom.
Yep, pretty much.
Anyway, that's crazy.
I'll send it to you on the DM, though.
This got 121,000 views.
And it's just me with double pink eye next to a
I syphilis is serious billboard
Yeah, we just kind of ran with it, you know, like, you know, look kind of leaned into any kind of publicity is good publicity
I don't know if it's true or not if I was single I might not have felt the same way, but you know
Said it to you in the DM you can check it out the in the
comments that the photos get kind of crazy it's actually not a bad not a not too bad of a photo
for the main one but oh man that was brutal and two months of that shit like it started to go away
and then it just came all back with a vengeance oh dude i just opened the dm that's crazy um
look i mean with eyes that red you're right next to the weed token. I wanted to ask you about that. I know you've got your hooves in many different areas, so I did want to touch on quite a bit.
She was in the space, but she's not able to come to the mic just yet.
She's running a little late, so we're going to get right into it.
And we'll get to her shortly.
I do want to get a little intro from her soon, though.
But, guys, real quick, I do want to ask you to repost the space.
Show some love to the pin post up top.
That was the giveaway.
I haven't even addressed the giveaway, folks.
I'm really slack, and I've got to do some more work on this Jack and Coke over here.
But, guys, make sure you enter that giveaway.
It's Wednesday.
You know what that means.
We've got a little lettuce monster giveaway.
You've got to be in the space.
Please follow the instructions.
That means follow our guests, drop a comment, all that fun stuff.
I want to get some more folks in the room and get some engagement on that.
And tricky as well for Nala NFT.
Feel free to pin anything up top and we
will encourage everyone to raid those posts throughout the space show a little love um but
tricky so i know a while back you had sent me an airdrop of some weed token which i thought was
pretty cool you were onboarding you know holders i, you know, I think it's community members really, you know, for me holding a DeFi space donkey and whatnot.
But I did not realize that you had access to the account, which you clearly do because you just performed your notorious echo from it.
Is this your token?
Is this a token that you're working with?
Like, what's the story between the DeFi space donkeys and the weed token? Is this a token that you're working with? Like, what's the story between the DeFi space
donkeys and the weed token? Yeah. So, so I met this guy, Nick, aka Genius Spothead or Intelligent
Stoners is how you might see his, his account. He's got about 440,000 followers and he launched
the weed token last year. He realized that he didn't really have a whole lot of Twitter presence as, you know,
we went through the bear market, right? So he hired me in May on the 1st. You know, I'm always
trying to help out everyone in the club. And I like the ticker. Obviously, it's a stand-up ticker.
And the spaces we started doing together started getting pretty fun pretty big we
started doing restring we included a couple more friends so now we've got
myself and genius pothead but then also Rick Starr and crypto stoner so we are
all doing like some trend analysis on Fridays and we talk about you know
market updates a little bit of cannabis industry you know whatever's going on in web 3. It's mainly web 3 focused but very
cannabis friendly you know we'll be smoking and stuff like that and yeah
it's just been it's been a great space like 1,500 to 3,500 people coming
through I mean we're on multi-stream like we're re-streamed now into like
is it YouTube, Facebook, I think Twitch and x for myself and every one of us has between like
three and six different streams we're going on to you know abstract arena everything so
we got some pretty good coverage on it and those guys have also joined the team so the team grew
about 150 percent in the last like three months.
So yeah, May 1st I joined,
started becoming responsible for social media management and a little bit of the strategy going forward.
So I'm advising and I'm just behind all the accounts.
I've actually got 12 accounts now
with my normal accounts and these delegates
and about 1.5 million followers across all of
them. Six of them are just really big in the cannabis industry. THC humor, stoner tweets,
Dank God, you'll see us everywhere. It's funny because I was already following most of these
accounts and I guess that's why he decided, hey, well, I've noticed I'm following you
with all my accounts. Maybe you'd be a good person to represent us on Twitter.
And yeah, so I threw it at the end of the intro just for fun.
Obviously, I enjoy that shit way too much.
And yeah, we just kind of hit the ground running.
We pumped the, I mean, initially in the first month and a half,
it pumped about 200% up from 240k up to about 750. It's sitting
right now at like 525 or something like that. So a little over a half mil. And so yeah,
so I sent all the homies a little bag or like a little 420 bag or 710 bag or, you know,
I've been trying to do more giveaways. So if you do like some memes, I can send you a little bag
of weed. We got 40% of the token just reserved for you know giving away
Rewards and burning and stuff so it's all about community and I wanted to make sure everyone had a little bag So if you hold it will I hold it and I get to 20 mil market cap
Then that little 420 bag should be able to like buy you dinner a bottle
You know a premium roll, you know, whatever and we can all have a party together on here on X
So that's what I was thinking.
Like, all you got to do is just forget about it
and just rock with me, you know, and that's it.
If you want to join in and like, you know, make memes
or join the raid squad,
I'm going to be also splitting about 100K with my team
when we hit that 20 million market cap.
So I have another little marketing squad
where we're just making memes
and doing, you know, some, some fun stuff with the, uh, the brand. So if you want to make any kind of,
uh, graphics or you want to, you know, figure out how you can get in, then just hit me up in the
DMS. We're doing lots of collabs with different companies. I've just spent a good amount of time
talking to truly the other day, which is pretty funny. I was about to go to sleep and I figured
I'd just like, you know, send a couple more posts and there was a true lead ad and I was like, it's got millions
of views, thousands of comments. I'm like, this is probably not going to go anywhere, but I'll
just, you know, I was under the weed token. I figured I'll say something. I'll, you know,
I'll shout them out about, you know, maybe they want to get involved in one of these IRL events
or one of these collabs coming forward. You know, they got so many promotions they do.
Why don't we link one of them to a marketing campaign with the weed token?
And yeah, so they ended up telling me they'd reached out to me in DMs.
They reached out in DMs.
I gave them all my information.
I'm going to be meeting with the team hopefully in that later on next week.
I just got to figure out exactly what we're going to be trying to pitch to them
because we have a couple of different ideas.
Obviously, there's a there's a couple collab options, but also I want to do this event
in Miami. So if we can get some of these guys to be, you know, I mean, two thirds of my sponsors
were cannabis related last out, Chela. I might as well. I could just pull together all the cannabis
people again. And that's a pretty nice size event you know maybe like 30 projects so yeah we'll see what happens you know i'm uh i'm just cautiously
optimistic and putting you know you just you miss all the shots you don't take so keep putting
yourself out there and you never know no i completely i completely agree tricky and uh
i do apologize it is kind of funny you say you're going to hit up all of the cannabis projects that helped sponsor you last year.
You know, we – for those of you guys that don't know, the Cannabuddies were one of those sponsors.
Some guys don't respond.
I don't know what's going on.
Well, sometimes we change and we turn from a weed man into a lettuce man.
We thought Harmonized brainstorm, maybe pull up in a van that's just full of heads of lettuce.
People apparently don't want that.
I don't know.
I don't know why.
We've got to figure something else out.
So we might have to do a slight pivot on that one.
But no, dude, I think having a token like
that is very cool, especially when it's on brand. We know that so many people in this space like
are about that. And I think it helps DeFi space donkeys as well. Like, cause everyone, I'm sure
that everyone who gets a bag of a weed, by the way, I love being able to say that. That is very
funny. Everyone who picks up a bag of weed is, you know, they see the page.
They see the DeFi space donkeys on there on the pin post.
I think that's what it's all about, getting that IP all over Web3.
So I think we're trying to do the same thing, but I see that donkey become, you know, everywhere I turn, I see it.
So that's what I like to see.
Hell yeah, man.
We got lots of like possibilities.
And yeah, now, especially with the show and like we playing with some of the AI things
from Hicksfield that it was pretty easy to use.
There's a couple of different like templates.
So I threw a couple of those like animations that we made or like cartoons that we made.
I think Rick made those in AI and I just took it and animated it with a different AI program
So we've been going back and forth just kind of making what like what looks like a fun promo for our show
But it's it's kind of like it on point, but it's just like a little bit different
You know, it almost looks like I got a Bitcoin face tattoos and that that last one which is kind of funny
You know, it's like I'm I thought I was holding in front of my face, but apparently those are tattoos on both sides of my face
That was really funny
the one one animation it like exploded into the ground and then my guy stands up and
His clothes just disappear they off the back of them
They just fly away and you can see the little purple fluffy tail
Bouncing in the wind it's just like I guess he loses the back of his pants in that last animation I don't know didn't know he
had a purple tail it looked pretty cool though I honestly I was like I don't
know why I didn't think of that that's a good little addition but but I'm having
fun with it you know I'll keep making different things and you never know
what's gonna hit that last one got like 56,000 views in like a week so yeah
people are liking the AI stuff man lean into it absolutely dude it's it's so
much fun man and I'll say with the AI to definitely change the game as far as
like the art on our end I mean cancel tech did our 3d models which are you
know big fan of our art.
But, you know, the graphics we put out daily, we would, there's no way we'd be able to commission him for that many pieces.
I mean, a new art piece a day, essentially, like that would be absolutely insane.
So, you know, big on supporting our artists in the space.
We don't want AI for the total takeover in that aspect,
but for daily content, it's too easy.
And Tricky, you were actually the one who showed me
the songs that AI could do, and you blew me away.
Cause I was like, dude, Tricky is not,
like I've seen the videos, I've seen the pictures,
and then Tricky hits me with a song, this AI,
and I'm like, have you heard any of
that Harman because it I saw you and me that was crazy I've I've realized the future is did is data
derived music it's going to be customized AI music for the user you're going to log into the platform
you're going to connect your socials your google account based off your cookies what you've been
searching for who you've been talking about and your mood and what like preferences and music you like based on
that time of day it'll generate you a song about your friends doing locally that you want to hear
about like it's going to be a customized like experience and if it's really awesome boom mint
is the blockchain and if other people play it you get a little commission cut out of that
You know this good I think this is really gonna be like I could imagine a lot of kids
Just listening to AI drive music because it's custom like it's customized about you know
about their life I
It sounds weird at first and I was like now this is definitely where it's going
So I'm like alright. I think I need to make this platform now.
It's called DDM, data-derived music.
This is new AI music generated for the actual user.
No, dude, that's too cool.
And look, I agree.
I actually hadn't thought about it as in like a takeover people, you know,
having platforms where everyone's going to be able to stream their own or like top of the charts for AI. Like, I haven't even thought
that far ahead. But real quick, I do want to welcome Mike back to the stage. What happened,
Harmon? Did you rug a little bit? I didn't rug at all. I thought you kicked me down to listen.
What? Yeah, i've just been sitting
here the whole time harman i swear to god i didn't touch you dude i mean you're cuddling and all but
i did not touch you i was like okay i get it i get it you get it not what no i assumed you had
rugged from the co-host position just because it happened so much.
But I was like, does he not like what I'm saying?
Like, is AI music not the future?
No, fuck that.
It is definitely the future.
I'm sorry you don't like it, Harmon.
Nah, you're good, man.
You're good.
That's funny, though. I went to answer whether or not I'd heard the music, and then I was kicked down to listeners.
So I was like, I guess my opinion isn't really wanted.
No, no, no.
Oh, my gosh.
People are going to think I'm a tyrant down there.
Guys, it's not the case.
I would never do that to my boy.
So that's crazy.
Well, I'll let you answer it now.
And look, if Harmon's going to answer this this and if he drops down, it's not.
Look, my hands are tied behind my back.
You can't see me, but.
I love it.
I love it.
I actually did hear it.
I think AI music's come a long way, too.
You know, I used to use, I think it was like Suno or something like that.
And it was decent, you know, like the writing was was okay but the flow wasn't that great it's
really come along i think uh it sounds real now it does sound real yeah exactly i was gonna say
i actually made it i have a little uh so i was talking to thanos about ai versus man versus
machine right that little the little rap battles that
they do with uh between ai composers and like traditional artists and so i got kind of inspired
and i i like pulled up a little like yeah i made a little uh thanos uh disc track almost i mean
it's funny because i put in like all the information about like where he's at and uh
and he's like this is actually really a it's a really savage burn on rocky uh because it's like rocking is from the same like
places and it was like shouting out his home places you know it was it was pretty good uh let
me let me find that but yeah 4.5 sounds really realistic it's it's kind of scary
nah dude that's sick.
The day of me, the day I go to, like, I'm like, because I don't rap much anymore.
I can only imagine me just entering a rap battle, me saying my piece, feeling like I'm Eminem going up first at 8 Mile.
You know, I do what I do. And then someone just plays an AI feedback, and it just completely destroys me.
It just takes everything that i just said into account and uh i just get roasted by by that so um yeah that would have been eminem
eight mile moment i could just imagine it like if it was perfectly like responding to each each previous line and
everything i mean ai could get really savage as it was it was saying some stuff and i was like
yeah i wouldn't say that to thanos like that like i mean battle rap is just not my vibe at all like
i'm all about collaboration over competition right so it's already not my vibe so i just had to like
you know lean into it and kind of you know Obviously, this is just being funny cuz like yeah, I don't talk to anybody with this amount of disrespect
But here we go. This is a battle rap against Thanos. I'll just play the first little bit
There's two little verses that are pretty they're pretty fun. They're they're not bad All right. I'm good. And that's why he on some Superman. Cause he got the type of bars only to be standing. That's you and your mans.
If you came through with your clan, that new would be bad.
Cause I got a crew full of Rambo dudes with their hands.
I got a fast car that ain't just a Benz.
I got a nice girl that ain't just a friend.
I got a smart dog that ain't just a pet.
And I got some killer bars, but I ain't a threat.
Supervillage.
Uh, uh, uh.
Supervillage.
I got to put the piano loop in there like I wanted and everything.
And it kind of has like a little bit of a chorus and then it goes into another verse here. I'ma bury you. These bars made for folks that be buying coke. These bars won't be broke, get it iron broke. These bars ain't a slope, ain't no ride with ropes.
These bars give you hope, they was designed for growth.
These bars, they a club, let the type of smoke.
These bars are some folks that ain't tired of woke.
These bars ain't a slope, they a dive with soap.
These bars is like oak.
So it's definitely getting better.
And that was really just a prompt. I didn't go back and edit it again or anything like there's all kinds of tools you can use to clean shit up and i didn't even do
that you know like it's just getting that much better dude that was disgusting i can't dude
it's crazy man um okay real quick tricky because there's a few more things i want to get into about
what you're building with uh defy space donkeys i know we touched on weed a bit i do real quick
want to say what's up to sadie over at nala nft just to say hi it feels weird our guest our friend
is up on stage and uh i have not said. So what is up, Sadie? How are you doing?
I'm doing okay. Thanks. I'm sorry that I was late. I'm going to be honest with you. I was
15 minutes late to work this morning and then they let me leave 20 minutes late and it just
off shifted my whole entire day by like 35 minutes so
I'm in the car right now I'm going to pick up Connie because Connie works at the same dispensary
I do but I'm here doing the damn thing I told you I wouldn't miss it made a promise I'm always
here for the little lettuce monsters I refuse let's go well look day may have been hectic but you're picking up your mom uh we get
look i was not expecting a connie feature tonight so um as far as i'm concerned that's just a bonus
so uh if um you know take your time i know it is very difficult to speak in spaces when you drive
tricky's like no dude i could be i I could be flying a plane into a space.
I know, but we're, you know, not all tricky.
But, so, yeah, Nala, just.
It's not a 787.
Yeah, easy.
Yeah, well, of course.
Yeah, we, you know.
So, yeah, Sadie, take your time.
We will get to you.
I want you to be safe and secure before we chop it up.
But, yeah, tricky. So something that you said to me a little while back, you were telling me or I think you may have posted on the timeline that the way you view DeFi Space Donkeys as kind of like an investment into you like a buy-in into you and your brand which
i know it kind of sounds you know obviously that's kind of kind of like any nft right that's at first
on face value what i took from that and then i'm thinking well kind of but like you know you buy
into so many or you get involved in so many communities and you're not like in with the founder. You know what I mean? Like there's many NFTs where you could participate in,
but you know, you might talk to a collab manager or like a community manager, but
you're not really in with the founder. And that's kind of what you've done with DeFi Space Donkeys,
right? You know, it's, it's that connection with the weed. It's that connection with,
you know, you doing things for subscribers. It's the, it's kind of, it all it's that connection with the weed it's that connection with you know you doing things for subscribers it's the it's kind of it all centers around that center that's centered ip right
yeah and i mean a lot of people don't realize that uh defy space donkeys was like an immediate cto
uh i had a friend a client basically who wanted to make some art and empties and sell them.
And so we, you know, we designed them, everything got created. And then when it came time to pay the bill, we didn't want to pay the bill.
So I was like, well, I'll just, I'll just CTO it. I'll be the utility.
I'll just tokenize myself as a personal advisor. I was already a personal advisor.
So I'll just make one of these an hour of my time and then, and boom.
So it's, I mean, it's literally, you're, you're investing in me.
You're, you're buying an hour of my time and then membership in the, in the club, which
grows with the brand.
But I mean, we don't, we don't know where it's going to go.
Uh, I'm also chronically ill.
I hopefully, you know, hopefully COVID didn't take me out.
You know, luckily we didn't, I thought it was kind of close for a minute there. there. But yeah, but you're, I mean, you're getting an hour of my time. You're getting
kind of access to the network a little bit. Right. And, and that's just a way to me, for me to show
what we can do with the web three technology from a personal or small business standpoint,
I feel like an NFT can be your receipt for purchase of anything. It could be ownership of anything on the blockchain.
So, you know, I want to make actually new standards of NFT receipts in the forms of NFTs, which I'm actually working on for a couple different industries.
But I think that to start off with, every small business could have some kind of way to keep their accounting on blockchain, on chain. When it comes down to
getting a loan, whether it be a DeFi loan or a bank loan, if you've got all your transactions
in one spot on the blockchain, I think that's an asset. And we've already got different accounting
programs that help make taxes easier. I could see reading the blockchain, putting all that data
together and just making it very a lot easier
to do your taxes and to account for your business and then once you've got all that all that you
know information locked in you got defi loans you can start to expand into like to you know
maybe test out a new wing of business that you weren't going to or to get to that next set of
scale you know where you can you to that next set of scale where
you can actually work economies of scale and get a mass discount to buy in bulk and stuff
like that.
So I've got a couple small ideas that I'm actually progressing along with the club,
the tricky tees and whatnot.
So I think that'll be some good income potential in the future, but also just a good example of what you can do with the blockchain.
You really can do anything with it.
And now we don't need to focus on selling the tech.
We really don't.
Like if people are here who like the tech, like you don't need to explain what an NFT is to them.
They're going to buy it because it's an NFT already.
You need to just stay focused on what the service is, what the product is, and let the rest of that stuff just work in the background.
That's all that's all the other people care about is that it works.
You know, not everyone's going to be a tech lover like like us.
Like we're kind of we're kind of a bunch of nerds, guys.
And when we go talking about NFTs, we got people just glazing over.
That's why everyone's kind of made this shift to digital collectibles.
Right. It's just it's easy to understand because people have had collectibles and, you know,
if you look at it from a standpoint of art or a baseball card, it starts to make a lot
more sense to a normie, I think.
So yeah, we're running, I think we're going away from the collectibles and it's going
to be more IRL utilities.
We're going to see a lot of these big companies coming in.
Hopefully, you know, the cannabis companies want to come in and partner with us and we can give them the weed token as a reward token, you know, in order to reward their
customers. It would be a way of dual marketing and also customer retention. So there's a lot of,
they're already doing these things and those point systems cost a lot of money to maintain and all
that. But if it's on the blockchain, you don't even have to think about
what they're going to do with their points.
Their points are liquid.
They can literally just cash them out
or buy your products with those tokens.
So yeah, I think this is just the way of the future, man.
It's way cheaper to do a reward system this way.
It's way cheaper to do payments, to pay your rent.
It's all, everything is just, it's crazy
expensive how much wires are. I have, I have one friend that works for the, the Orlando City Soccer
and they spent about a hundred grand a year, maybe about 80 grand a year on fees, just fees
to pay their mortgage. Now granted, it's a quarter million dollars a month. But it's a crazy amount because I if I said you know I told him for 10 cents I
could make all those transactions in polygon what are you what are you guys doing you know like it
is I mean where are they go is this going international like I don't know what the
deal is but all the payment systems on and off ramps are in place now.
You don't need to be spending thousands of dollars to pay your mortgage or your rent or your business loan.
It just doesn't make any sense anymore.
The solutions are here.
No, I completely agree.
And we're talking about the blockchain being – you can see all the transaction history it also you know if you want
to look at it from the credit angle and like the you know i know that you're good for it because i
can look at your wallet you know i can look at your transaction history and be like okay
tricky's had this wallet for the last four years and he's done everything he said he was going to
do and the he sent out all you know i'm? I'm not only docs, but I'm blocks.
I'm blockchain documented.
You can see all the transactions going in and out of the community wallet.
You can see how I sent out over a thousand NFTs from the community wallet.
Like all that proves that I did what I said I was going to do, right?
So, yeah, I mean, ultimately, someone could be in witness protection.
But if they're blocks properly where you can see what skills they have, you can know what job they can perform.
You don't need to know their name or their gender or, you know, their disabilities or anything about them.
You know, the fact that health care has gotten so, like, attached to our employment and then, like, it's also the double-edged sword for employers, too.
Like, I have an autoimmune disease.
Like they don't want to hire me.
I've got to cost three times the amount to maintain, to keep alive than any other employee.
So unless it's for like a very specific position that they don't have someone else to fill, you know.
I got to just be very careful.
Hopefully we get like national health care and we can take it away from the employers.
I don't think the employers and the pharmaceutical companies shouldn't be determining our health care when it comes down to it.
No, tricky. Another thing that blockchain can fix. You could literally all the government could be smart contracts. That's incorruptible.
You could literally, all the government could be smart contracts. That's incorruptible.
It's true. Look, I had a friend in college when I was in Blacksburg. I didn't go to college,
but when I was living in Southwest Virginia, he was trying to build a company that was,
it was basically like blockchain for local elections. Like, I mean people sleep on it but blockchain could be used for anything I mean when you was it called what was it
called something my vote I'd have to go back this was like this was like seven
years ago or something eight years ago this was a long time ago but again that
just kind of shows like the visions's been there the ogs that
have been in crypto we always kind of joke about like uh you know the the ogs in crypto we always
look back and we were like uh decentralized like we don't want we don't want government in in uh
in this that or the and nowadays everyone's on the timeline like government repost our look the
government's buying it all of this crypto.
Yes, like it's gone mainstream with, you know, it's kind of it's kind of a total pivot from that.
But look, with mass adoption, that's, you know, I guess we kind of need we kind of need that.
But but no, it is it is cool that, again, I know you're an OG in this space and you see the value of the blockchain.
And, you know, with what you're building is kind of
like the ultimate network you know um a lot of brands they're either their nfts are for gaming
or they they've got one product they're going to push and then there's people like us and you know
we we want to just expand our network we want to grow we want to be we want to just expand our network. We want to grow. We want to have that IP where whether this opportunity presents itself like kind of it did with you and Weed, like you've got that IP.
You're able to capitalize on it, and your network just keeps expanding until, you know, you can't not enter a space with, you know, a DeFi space donkey, PFP kind of thing.
Yeah, absolutely. It's been amazing to see how like everything grows you know when we just stay persistent and that's all it is just being
persistent and you know thank you everyone else for just sucking so bad you made it a lot easier um
i don't i mean it's just it is it is tough right because it's like you're you're getting out of your
comfort zone a lot of times you know being over here but um there was just we've we've been giving
so much money to scammers and bullshit uh you know projects that it's you know at this point
just being here long enough and not ripping people off is like, oh, you're, oh, you're an OG, you know? And, and mainly at this point, like you said, the majority of my value, I think
is derived from the network from being able to say, oh, well, you need this done. Well, blah,
blah, blah can probably help you out with that, or maybe push you in the right direction. Or,
you know, like you, what we want to do a side event. Let's's let's see how many people we can get together you know and 53 different projects for that zao chela event was absolutely insane i don't think that was
like i don't think there's been a pro uh an event that big actually for web3 like that's had that
many projects show up and participate you know in a side event i don't i think that's probably
the biggest one there's and it was cool it really was cool um i that was the first again art basil was the first you know web3 meetup i had done
i went to zauchella and uh it was cool man i had a great time met a bunch of cool people that i
would you know it's so i know this kind of cliche you know, we see all these PFPs in the room and I'm – you know, like I've seen Harmon's face.
But it is still weird seeing when I run into him IRL that he's not a koala.
Like it's – that's weird to me.
It's cool.
It's awesome.
But Tricky is actually not an ass.
He's not – I'm just kidding.
It's a dime.
I'm just a little bit taller than you expect.
And I don't have a Mohawk yet. I'm working. No Mohawk.
No Mohawk. Oh man.
I want to get one of those T-Rex costumes,
but with like a Mohawk and it looked like a defy space donkey and just like run
around New York. Like, Oh, it would. Wouldn't it do do that before you get some
there was this campaign a while back that everyone wanted like a blow-up buddy suit for the cannabis.
And I was like, dude, we got – I don't think you guys realize for these high-quality suits, we're not – plus, oh my gosh, in Miami, I think I'd die.
I would wilt.
I'd wilt, really.
At least Miami is in December, right?
So you'd be okay to wear it at night on the beach with the breeze.
But, yeah, I couldn't – New York, 100 degrees with one of those plastic suits on?
Oh, forget it.
I would just die.
You would just find a plastic ball at the side of the road.
You would just think I was a bag of garbage, man.
I would not make it far.
Definitely not. But, yeah, that a bag of garbage, man. I would not make it far. Definitely not.
But, yeah, that would have been good, though.
A can of buddy, too.
That would have also been good.
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
I'm going to course Harmon into wearing that little lettuce monster suit.
It can't be me.
Look, I'm a little heavier set.
I'd sweat a little bit.
I don't know, know dude i don't think
it's for me but um look but it's what the people want so who knows you know time only time will
tell how to give the people what they want god yeah that'll be the utility is laughing at respecter
as he's uh you know again wilting uh in real time so i mean i yeah this should be you know I'm proof that you can't
take yourself too seriously and it's it'll work out okay oh dude I mean you
said it man you know obviously some publicity is bad publicity you know if
you're you know it in the space as being a bad actor or something but dude
nothing wrong being a little goofy nothing wrong with being a little goofy, nothing wrong with being, you know, you know, a little bit different.
Look, some people wrongfully claim that I'm a little strange, a little wacky, a little
coot, you know, and none of that's true, obviously, but I'm, you know, I'm well adjusted, but
the claims exist, so, you know, and it's been okay for me so you know i think we're okay
that's good hey if they're talking about us we're doing something right
they're talking dude that's all that matters so tricky real quick um because you have spaces
first off you're always in spaces you you made a joke earlier you were like everyone else sucks so
bad tricky let's let's reel it back a little bit.
It's not that everyone sucks.
It's that you're in spaces all throughout the day.
Your timeline I don't think has ever been dry.
If you ever didn't log on X for a day, I would assume something is terribly wrong.
So you are in that 1% of active X users.
You are in that 1% of active X users.
You know, when can we – because you have a space every day from 4 to 6 or is it most days?
Yeah, so we do CryptoFam Radio on Tuesday, Thursday from like 4 till 7.
And then we do Monday, Wednesday, 4 to 6 Eastern.
And then Friday, 4.20 till 5 4 20 till 5 20 5 30 sometimes a space
afterwards and then uh i mean on the weekends and all other times the the green pill collective
always has a space there's there's at least three or four spaces you can be in at pretty much all
times uh so yeah i have four devices right now, I have five right now and I was gonna order two like cheap phones
Actually see just I think I need like seven or ten devices. I mean I've got 12 accounts
So if I have like ten devices I could basically be on all the ones that matter because there's some that you know
If I'm on that one, I wouldn't need to be on some a couple of the other ones. So
some a couple of the other ones so uh yeah i'm thinking 10 is probably the magic number um
Yeah, I'm thinking ten is probably the magic number
i almost spoke in two recorded spaces earlier at the same time uh the timing didn't line up right
but but it happens every once in a while uh i'm i just love to get out of my head and it's the
easiest way to get out of your head by having like three or four things going on five things going on I noticed that like five things I don't have like any depressive thoughts at all
Like I'm definitely like an anxious depressed kid growing up
But what if I got yeah four or five things going on at once my brain is too busy trying to like put all that shit together
Then like I don't have time to get upset or, you know, go down some weird spiral negative path or
anything. I mean, and now if I, if I start to, I very quickly interrupt it and, and go positive,
you know, real heavy because the faster you interrupt that and program that positivity in,
the better off you'll be. And it just gets easier and easier, you know? And it's just,
I mean, it's just like your timeline on like TikTok, like you get a thirst trap on there
or some weird goofy shit and you, and you're just like in dumbfounded shock.
Well, you know, the algorithm is counting that as time you're looking at it.
Like, oh, you must want more of this.
So you got to be careful with what you give your attention to.
But yeah, don't take yourself too seriously.
And make sure you're having fun.
You're supporting the people supporting you.
And yeah, take a break every once in a while too.
I'm here a lot because I like to have this as a distraction.
But for a lot of people, you still got family and stuff you got to deal with that you can't be ignoring.
So it was a very weird situation with me going through all the different health issues and just kind of feeling like I had been rugged from my life a little bit, you know, like when you when you first hear it, like it's you have the power.
Your brain is a strong, you know, machine that can do these things.
But until you really like start to make it make that impression, make that rewiring happen, it's it's hard to really understand how powerful it is.
And now I'm just like, what else can I do? What else is possible?
I'm over here lucid dreaming, multitasking four and five things at once.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
If you can figure out lucid dreaming, man, your normal day can be a little bit less glorious.
If you can have the existence that's way better
than like the richest person on the planet like they're because they don't have superpowers that
you know they got the money to do what they want but they don't they can't do what i can do in a
lucid dream like i've i feel like i've i've gotten into a really amazing situation um by learning
you know this how the my brain actually works but But we don't, we don't know,
it doesn't come with a manual, it doesn't come with a manuscript that most of us really don't
have like a psychologist to talk to. It's just, there's so much we don't know. And stay curious
and just keep learning about it, man. You'll, you never know what you'll uncover.
No, man, the positive outlook and like always having like a place to go and hang out
you know like i think that's one of the reasons why these daily spaces are so like the schedule
i'm so big on schedules it's crazy when people have a weekly space uh because some people have
daily spaces you and blake i see digi joints now so you guys are crazy shorty not another one daily
spaces couldn't be me more i love it i absolutely love it but could not be me
uh but when people have weekly spaces and then they cancel every other week like uh
it kind of grinds my gears i'm like it's punctual people i have these on my calendar i show up every
um i think koala day is super good with their bingo they're always do bingo and then one week
harman was like deathly sick and i was like harman what do you mean super good with their bingo. They always do bingo. And then one week, Harmon was like deathly sick.
And I was like, Harmon, what do you mean you're not running bingo?
Just plug in the IV.
Just take double your medicine and play bingo.
You got, dude, you're fine.
We can't not do this.
I don't, you know, I'll fly up to Canada and do it for you.
We got to, the show must go on.
So I'm really big on that consistency. There's always some because, again, the mental health aspect is huge.
Like you got it. I completely hear you about staying busy, having a place to plug in and people say like, oh, those are just your Internet friends.
It's like, well, you know, we got cooler, bigger relationships with some people in this space than we do,
you know, my next door neighbor. So I don't know. I mean,
seems like that to you, but sounds like you haven't plugged in.
Well, I've got these quote unquote internet friends checking in on me more than my IRL
friends, you know, and when I go out at events with my quote unquote Internet friends, it's like a fucking movie.
I mean, it's legit amazing when I go to these events.
I it's it blows me away.
I'm just like it does feel like I'm stuck in a movie as the main character somehow.
And I'm like, I don't understand why I'm I'm doing it.
I'm like, this is so goofy and weird.
But like, yeah, I, and I think like the child version of me, like would have been very nervous
and wouldn't have even wanted to put myself out there that much.
You know, I'm way more shy.
But yeah, with the like the no fucks given combination with like, you know, being interested
in what everyone's doing.
So I'm always kind of curious and want to learn.
It just, it's just right.
I've just like found that sweet spot and I'm just glad I did.
You know, you keep looking around, you'll find some people,
you'll find some skills and something will just line up.
You'll just see paths illuminate and, you know,
there'll be some great opportunities coming for you.
I can tell everyone here who's consistent, man, that it's going to happen.
You just got to stick with it and don't take things too seriously.
Like everyone is in their own little world and they're kind of in their own head.
And they're like, it's just you just can't take it too personally.
That's all it is.
You know, try to like to accept it as information, as input, you know, but you can't take it too personally. That's all it is. Try to accept it as information, as input, but you can't.
Don't take it personally.
Everyone's got a problem, a mission that they're fighting that you have no idea.
Maybe that's the reason they couldn't show up to your space that day.
show up to your space that day or you know that's the reason why they're you know they're not on the
That's the reason why they're not on the timeline.
timeline or you know people get real stressed out about about you know the about their position in
in these different communities and and you know projects and it's just not always it's not that
serious like enjoy what you're building and uh that it, man. If you're not enjoying it,
maybe it's time for a little bit of a break,
a little hiatus and tune back in in a week.
It's okay to take a little break here and there.
I can't believe I was out for like two weeks
with that COVID.
I mean, I slept most of the time
and I just, everything just like warped by.
I'm now looking around like like where did all my food go
like I there's no food in this house and I I when did you uh when did you have COVID uh well I got
it like basically when I came back from from New York like the next day I you know it it flared up
and started knocking me out so you got COVID COVID. It was, uh, okay.
So cause I think it was Blake and moon queen got food poisoning.
You got COVID.
Did everyone just get sick in their own unique way leaving New York?
Yeah, I think so.
And honestly,
I think a lot of people actually did just have the new variant of COVID
because it's changed so much that people, it was like different.
Um, and a lot of people just didn't take a test.
They don't actually know necessarily, you know.
But the reason why we take those tests is because it is a little bit more contagious
than other things.
I mean, that's why so many of us got sick.
You know, it is super contagious.
But yeah, I tested myself and immediately I was i was positive for covid my wife was positive
but then luckily she is asymptomatic so i felt a little bit better at least she wasn't feeling
like shit but yeah it's it's no joke man i i lost some family to like the original strain and
this one is definitely hit me completely different than the original one too so i
you know this is what happens every year
it's gonna modify you just gotta be uh you know be cautious when you're in public wash your hands
like in those little alcohol wipes are your friends guys fuck no yeah that stuff's no joke
especially you with chronic illness and whatnot i know one of my good buddies garrett has crohn's
disease and uh when I,
when you first spoke about that, I was in a space, I had it on, you know, I had it up,
turned up pretty loud. My buddy was like, someone else who's dealing with the same, you know, because it's, it's tough, you know, I feel like it, unless you, unless you have it, you don't
really understand the full effect of how tough it can be. But, you know, finding out what helps,
you know, my homie, you know,
cannabis changed his life. I know cannabis changed your life in that aspect with like
appetite and all that stuff. So it is cool. You, when you're in this kind of space,
you meet so many people who, you know, you, you have those little things in common with that
maybe, you know, you, you find, you find that niche of people like, Oh man, the struggle,
you know, someone else with my struggle, you know, you know you're um i'm not the only one going through it kind of thing i get this like stupid grin on my
face every time i meet someone who's just as fucked as i am and i'm like i'm sorry i'm smiling
right now it's because i think i have some things that actually might be helpful to you
it probably dude i'm i'm happy for you that you're going to have
some things to try to see if
maybe this will be better
because yeah it's a mind
fuck the medical system is so
ill equipped and the
testing is not adequate at all
we all need genetic
testing when we are first born
I don't know why they wouldn't
why wait man just do it
do it before your
kid has all the problems and stuff like that if you if you know it ahead of time you can save them
a lot of misery so yeah it's rough definitely have your friend get in touch with me man I am making
I have a new batch of this tea uh this is a like a it's a lot sweeter it's got more like fruit in it a lot I put a whole freaking
like a cup of goji berries in a in a pound instead of like like a quarter cup there's a lot of really
good ingredients it's mostly organic now buying it all in bulk and I'm doing at cost for all the
DeFi space donkeys to try it too so uh you know if you try it and you've got
better sleep or better energy as a result you know there's energy or sleep if you i mean if you work
out or drink you need the sleep one and who doesn't need better sleep honestly but there's
some 25 year old kids out there that don't have any problems they just go to sleep they wake up
they feel fine all right well then maybe you can try the energy drink instead of drinking i'll have the energy drink we'll uh we'll get the other one to my buddy it's it's at got any
nfts i'll i'll hook you up with them he's uh he's in the space he's not nearly as active as me and
certainly not as active as you but you know he's he's in the space and uh you know if it's at cost
i might have to you know pick one up pick one up and toss it his way.
Because, yeah, anything that can help each other, we're about it.
Yeah, and I'm going to give all the DeFi space donkeys an affiliate link too.
So you'll be able to get 10% commission off of whatever contracts that you want to secure. Like if you were to secure a 7-Eleven or a small health food store or just, you know, someone
who's ordering month's supplies, you can get yourself a nice little kickback.
And, you know, I'm going to absolutely share the wealth that way instead of having crazy
million-dollar marketing campaigns.
I'm just going to do it organic through the, you know, the DeFi space donkeys, basically.
And then, you know, I'll put myself out there and get all those big contracts if
nobody else really wants them but uh and i think it's a nice little win if you can lock lock in
some big contracts for your neighborhood you know and and you're selling something that's like
organic it's just herbs it's you know not loaded with sugar and chemicals and bullshit you know
so but i think if i just get everyone to try it you you guys will just be gung ho as I am and
you're going to, you'll start to see the dollar signs and the potential like Red Bull made
a billion dollars last year and they, they spent 300 million on marketing.
We can do better.
They only have an energy drink.
We got an energy drink and a sleep drink.
We can, we can get your party wound up and then settle down and, and drink that hangover
I actually drank a handle of tequila that last hurricane in a 24-hour period.
I drank three cups of the sleep tea, woke up feeling like a million bucks, like I hadn't had anything to drink.
I was legit surprised.
But hey, I got to see if this is working like this for other people.
Because if it is working like this for other people you know because if it is that's that's
huge every every single bar in america should have this stuff to give to people before they leave
dude you should have you should have hooked me up at art basil man i feel like i was the only
everyone i was hanging with at art basil no shade to anyone uh people were having a few drinks that
but everyone was just smoking i felt like i was like unparalleled with with you know throwing them back dude i was just uh you know i was i was but we had it it was on it was on the menu and we
even had uh i even had like a blueberry tequila with some of it in there tricky you knew i was
past the point where i can't read a menu come on i know i know come on so many people coming
through the house was i supposed to tell everybody what's in the fridge?
I got home and I unpacked the food when I first got there.
And I was like, the fridge was packed.
The freezer was full.
The closets were full.
Like the pantry was all, I was like, oh my God, this is a lot of food.
How am I going to actually make sure I get through all of this food and not like leave out big swaths of stuff or you know what I mean and then like I thought about having the conversation with
everybody that walked in the house and explaining to them all the food options and drink options
and I was like yeah I'm making a menu right fucking now you just put in the quantity it
calculated everything for you it told me what I needed to cook it was it was actually a really
smart idea that was probably the best thing I did that whole week as far as like time savings goes. Dude, menus usually had
that conversation a hundred times. Dude, the menu situation is so funny. Cause we did, uh,
we did some cooking cause we brought like Mexican food over to your place. And, uh,
moon queen gave me a list of like things that I need to buy at Walmart. Cause I thought it was
going to be a couple things, but it was like a lot of things. So I literally like handed the list over to my
girl. I was like, yeah, you're gonna like, I'm gonna, I'm gonna be basically be moral support
for this. This is a lot of the planning aspects. Shout out to you for Blake, everyone who's like
actually planning those events. Cause it is kind of funny. I, I just went down there
and I had a good time, but look, Harmon and I, maybe, maybe we got to set up the, uh, you know,
maybe I won't just be a part of your this time. Maybe we got a, you know, we'll come with the,
with the van full of lettuce. We'll do something. Well, Harmon, you're going to,
I don't need a babysitter. I'm not going to call you that.
But no, we got to lock it down, Harmon.
Let's do it.
Let's talk soon, man.
We're going to figure out what we're going to do.
I'm thinking like a Wave Wars, a Little Mounds event because they have a DAO system, so they might be able to also be able to pitch in.
There's a bunch of ideas that we tried to do for New York that we weren't able to make happen because of the time restraint.
So let's try to do a little bit of everything.
We'll see what sticks.
But yeah, I'll be talking to everybody here in the next couple of weeks just to lock it in.
And if people are serious about it, I'll make it happen.
And if not, then yeah, we'll have more information for next time.
Let's grow man well the only thing i can promise is that uh you know wherever wherever we are in
miami whatever we end up doing uh we'll pull up dude we'll see you we'll hang out we'll grab a
drink we'll have a smoke we'll uh you know we'll do the damn thing i need to see i need to see
tricky off of uh you know a bottle of tequila we'll we'll make we'll make the thing happen so
i just have to find one of those hotels that has a piano in the lobby.
And it's close enough that we can walk to the main event.
Those are like my goals at this point.
Piano in the lobby?
There was this one that had a rooftop piano just a little north of South Beach.
But I'm worried that's a little bit too far to walk to the main event.
So we'll see. We'll see. But there's's a couple hotels there with pianos in the lobby so it's always fun to get just absolutely shit face and then just pound on a piano in a lobby i don't
know what it is about it i've never been kicked out of a place but i've been looked at funny
all right you play piano i drop bars um we're gonna be that that power duo uh tricky let's go
tricky real quick before we move on to nala i gotta ask so we know about weed with the d5 space
donkeys what what would it cost for someone to get involved with the d5 space donkeys right now
what is the uh what's the floor price looking at and because i know i know it's gone up i believe it was raised since
i've been involved for a while yeah there's i think there might be one that is a hundred and
something dollars um i can't sell anything over the counter below 0.101 so if there is one that's
cheaper than that i would say that's probably a a fair price at this point
um yeah i don't ever do bogos or real you know discounts it always just kind of creeps up by
0.001 eth so yeah that's point i think point we had the last our highest sale so far was 0.1 eth
i believe so yeah 0.101 let's grow yeah i'm glad i uh i'm glad i joined when i did dude it's
uh you know i've again i've been a defy space donkey for a long time i've been a uh you know
tricky's been a canna buddy now little lettuce monster for quite a while and it's been about
and it's been about two weeks since i've been a nala nft holder which is crazy i i meant i
there was some all right sadie can vouch for me when i went to go mint it was uh i think it was
that uh coinbase wallet wasn't supported it was metamask which like everyone uses metamask like
except me i'm like the only one.
We got it squared away.
I was able to get my Nala NFTs.
We're good.
I got a cute little cat with a mouse on his head.
That's probably my favorite one is the mouse trait because it feels like a two-in-one.
A little Tom and Jerry action going on.
Yo, Sadie, have you picked up Connie?
Have you secured Connie?
Or are you still, are you still whipping?
I am a little 0.5 seconds away from securing Connie.
I'm creeping up on the dispensary right now.
Oh my gosh. I've got some alpha for you guys I'm uh okay so most of my most of my review streams just go into giveaways this is
another one of them but more important than that if you go to concerts or bars that are loud and
you like are screaming over like people talking and losing your voice we can we just fixed it they're called
loops i don't get headaches when i wear these i can go to a rock concert and hear the lyrics
perfectly clear it like it really makes the sound crisp but it's uh it takes all the high-end like
the noise out of like really intense sound so yeah you can like whisper to your friend at the bar if you
both have these loops in and you can hear each other fine like it's it's weird how how easy it
makes it to hear each other so I'm not going to be yelling at the bar if you want to hear what
I'm saying you're gonna have to have these loops because I'm not yelling and wasting my voice
anymore this is possible here's the solution right here it's like 20 30 bucks
um i bought another pair when i went to new york because i lost it and left mine at home
and uh i'm an amazon affiliate so i'm just like putting all the things that i really believe in
on like a list and then showing it to people so if you guys want them to you know then
it's extra stuff for giveaways. Yeah, let's go.
I heard you talk about that in the space the other day, but I hadn't actually seen the
link or the product.
So I'm looking at it now.
That is, uh, it's kind of crazy.
I didn't, uh, before you had said that the other day, before I heard you say that, I
didn't know anything like that existed.
So, um, kind of going, look, dude, I'm not going to knock any extra revenue stream for a brand.
I know it's, you know, some brands only, their only way that they make money is, you know, mints, which, you know, is good, but that's not going to last forever.
So, you know, whether it be royalties, whether it be products you're releasing or, you know, getting paid by promoting certain products, you know, we're here for it so uh pretty cool man what uh what else do you have on that while we wait for
uh you know sadie to secure connie uh what else what else you got on that list okay well i hit a
new a new record uh for for how much stuff i have to hand out at an event, for NFT NYC, I had over $12,000 of tokens and merch to hand out.
Dude, that's...
Isn't that insane?
I think you said you drove up there, so did you just drive with a car?
No, I flew.
I flew, but I gave them the address of where to send stickers and stuff.
So all the homies could send stickers or whatever they wanted for me to hand out.
And I had four sponsors that sent me shirts, stickers, and tokens to give out.
So, yeah, it was awesome.
It really was a lot of fun.
And I just hope I can have that much giveaways
for my birthday space coming up in a little bit here.
August 16th, next month.
I'll put that up top too so you can tap in with that.
It's definitely going to be epic.
I think we had four grand of giveaways last time and 600 people,
so everyone won something last time.
I would show up for this
no word man yeah i will i will be pulling up for the birthday space is this gonna be like
tricky i take you as one as the kind of guy who's like okay my birthday starts at 1201
birthday space started ends at 12 this is please tell me you're taking some time for you right this is not
a 24 hour birthday stream is it we we were discussing that and i said no i said i was
just gonna do like a 12 hour space but like i don't know i'm still kind of thinking on it
we'll see it ended up being like 12 or 14 hours last year. We had 72 speakers.
So I guess we'll see how organized we get it.
But I don't know.
I don't know.
I think 12 hours is long enough.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, that's pretty crazy.
I don't – I'm not sure.
Look, guys, Tricky is a little bit different okay on my birthday
because my birthday is coming up in a couple weeks i've not been oh actually my my birthday
is in eight days actually as i thought a couple weeks that kind of creeped up for my birthday
yeah yeah for my birthday i will not be doing a 24 hour 12 hour stream i may go live for
an hour maybe 30 minutes and say hi to you guys um but that will be it so um guys i don't look
this is just because tricky can do that does not mean i can okay we're you know so I just want to throw that out there
uh that's crazy you just need it you just got to make like a week worth of tea and drink it in one
day it'll be all right I guess so man if that's the secret if that's the secret then I guess so
I mean I whenever I get a little bit sick I just double up my dosage on it it's like it's
these like what 16 17 herbs It's crazy how well they work
together. Just, there's so many different micronutrients you're just not getting from
your diet any other way. So like when your body has everything it needs, it just functions better.
No, I heard that dude. I will, uh, I'll definitely try the energy one. Uh, I think that's probably
the one I would need, but, uh, yeah, I, I also plan to make some money off my sick friends, though.
So definitely, definitely, we got to talk about that.
We definitely got to talk about that in the back end.
Look, I'm a lettuce monster.
I'm not an actual monster, guys.
I'm not trying to make money off my sick friend.
But are you blocks to are you docs yeah make sure
you guys raid the pin posts up top and uh i see tricky pinned a few more things up there and also
make sure you guys enter that giveaway guys we will be pulling that winner before too long
actually it might i don't mean to put harman on the spot. I know Harmon always pulls the giveaways. He's an absolute G for that.
Before we go to Nala, because I think Sadie might need a little longer.
I'm not sure.
But this might be a good time to pull the winner if you're able to, Harmon.
I got you.
Let me get that for you.
Well, while Harmon does that, I guess I will reset the room.
Guys, this is episode four of Chop It Up.
We were just hearing from the DeFi Space Tonkeys.
Tricky Buddha shared a bit about what he's doing with his IP as well as with the weed token.
I have a little bit of a bag, but I need to expand that.
I smoked some of it.
Meme for weed.
Meme for weed.
Let's grow.
Yeah, guys, I guess real quick, also, repost the space, drop a comment.
We run the space up usually, I say up until 10 p.m. Eastern,
but we will be a little – look, I've got a bedtime and all,
but we'll be a little flexible depending on, you know,
I don't want Sadie to feel rushed.
I know her day has been kind of crazy.
I've had some days like that recently too.
With the collapsing ceiling, kind of crazy how these things happen,
but we're working with it, guys.
I guess real quick, I do want to plug i don't know
if this space is scheduled yet but we have two spaces this week that were kind of they're kind
of last minute um i believe it is here i gotta actually look at my timeline for this one um
it looks like with nft bridges i'll be completely honest we've never connected with them
before they reached out to us in the back end we're going to be on a space with them at 2 p.m
eastern on july 18th i believe that is this friday uh so make sure you set reminders on that we
reposted that to the timeline i guess i'll pin that up top real quick so you guys can set reminders
like that should be a fun time it was kind of
funny they uh i was reading their description of us that they posted in the post and they said an
nft collection with a vibrant visual identity in that don't we have just a vibrant visual identity
i i like it you know just like a like a flat out compliment on the art.
You know, I guess I'll take it.
I thought they would say something about having like two handsome founders or something, but that's cool, too.
I like what they said.
So that should be a fun space.
And also we are going to have a space with DigiJoints.
I believe we're going to do that at 7 p.m. Eastern on Friday.
I don't think that space has been scheduled yet, but we have a cool collab coming with DigiJoints.
We've been good friends with them for many years in the space, partnered with them as the Canna Buddies, kind of reworking that partnership with our rebrand.
Because, look, you don't need to be a stoner to be with the DigiJoints. So joint so lettuce has a place with the digi joints we're
gonna announce that partnership maybe tomorrow but the space is going to be on friday so
make sure you keep your eye out for that link and uh and yeah i got a shout out for i got a little
shout out for digi uh a day and mr darius decided to make me the Web3 DJ Khaled.
We need you to come over here and say another one.
So I got my intro.
I'm featured on this track.
It's a little shout-out to Episode 1000.
You want me to play this, or do you need me to eat up two minutes?
Because I can.
Here, one sec, because I actually heard this track earlier today, I believe, and it was fire.
Let me see if Nala NFT is good
right now, and if
they are still driving or it's not
a great time for Sadie, I would absolutely like to hear
that track again, because that is
not an AI track, and
it is a banger.
So let me...
Shoutouts to all the homies
and every line is an inside joke it's so good
you know let's grow I didn't hear any bar about respecter but that's fine I don't care I'm not
even I'm not even bothered by it um um yo Sadie is is now a good time? I didn't know where you're at. Or should I say, hi, Connie?
It's a great time.
I mean, I could have done it while I was still driving on the way here.
I literally have my phone on the Bluetooth, so it's no small feat.
I've done worse things while I'm driving, respecter.
I'll keep it kid-friendly for the little lettuce monster's sake,
but Sadie's done
some crazy things behind the wheel to say the least. Let's grow. Yeah. I, I, I don't know what
you're alluding to Sadie. I, I can't, I can't even use my imagination on that one. So I, oh,
I eating a salad. I've look, you know, truth be told, not trying to tell any tales out of school, but I've eaten a
few road salads myself. But, you know, aside from that, yeah, I'm glad you are. I know you're on
Bluetooth. I guess you are still driving, but it sounds like, look, Bluetooth hands-free, you're
good. You know, that's a, I appreciate you saying you're on Bluetooth because now I, you know,
I appreciate you saying you're on Bluetooth because now I don't feel as bad.
But what's up?
Did we get a shout-out from Connie in the background?
Yeah, say hi, Mom.
How are you guys doing?
What's up, Connie?
Long time no see.
Hope you're well.
Doing the thing, you know working hey i hear that the grind never stops i know you just got picked up from the dispensary so um you know enjoy i i assume you left with a bag so i hope you i hope
you uh enjoy that tonight.
We all know that's the best feeling when you get off work.
Oh, yeah, 100%. I mean, we don't normally buy stuff at our dispensary because it's a little expensive.
I kind of work in a Fru-Fru-Richie area, and then we live up in the ghetto like 40 minutes away but you know
sometimes i have good sales and i'm like oh whatever i guess i'll spend my money
yeah you some you know sometimes that uh because those kind of places you know they
they hike up the prices for their catnip you know what i mean but uh sometimes you know the best
catnip you can get is from the dude,
you know, down the street. So look, if I can get that non-tax catnip, you know, sometimes that's
just a move. So I don't blame you. I hear you. Look, that, you know, you treat yourself every
once in a while with the, you know, if they're running some, you know, the crazy, you know, the bogos and stuff.
But, yeah, no, I definitely feel you on that.
But, yeah, I guess if we just want to get right into it, I want to know a little bit about what Nala and oh, I think Harmon has the winner of the giveaway.
Yeah, I asked you to pull giveaway I asked you to pull I asked
you to pull the winner and I neglected that totally oh my I was just waiting for like an
so I thought I should put my hand up as soon as we're about to segue into the I apologize
Sadie and uh and Connie as. I didn't even say hello.
It's nice to hear from you.
I hope you have a great day.
And I do, in fact, have a winner.
It took me a while because I was just pulling myself, Tricky, Respecter,
and a couple people who just aren't here anymore but did follow the rules.
And we got ourselves a winner who
followed the rules it is that red cloud of ours in the audience mr bricks i have uh draw id
175 271 5 3 7 0 9 1 0 i'll go ahead and post that link in the comments so you don't have to memorize those
those crazy numbers I just read out but congratulations Mr. Bricks I get that fresh
mint over to you I hope it's a crisp one can't wait to see what you get actually
I will send that on over.
Congratulations, and thank you, everybody, for entering.
A lot of entries here this evening, and one of you had to win.
Hey, thank you for pulling that, Harmon.
Appreciate it, fam.
And sorry, I kind of took the mic, and I just, you know, I didn't share.
I was not sharing.
So that's on me. I appreciate you. didn't share. I was not sharing.
So that's on me.
I appreciate you.
Don't put your hand up, though.
That's a respecter thing, dude.
That's what I do, okay?
Don't, you know, I don't know, man.
I knew it would get your attention.
It did. Just the same as if I, like, straight up interrupted, so.
It did, it did.
I do apologize for that.
But thank you for pulling the winner, fam. And thank you especially, you know, I, I guess it wasn't you, it was fate, but, uh, for pulling bricks, shout out to bricks. One of, if not our largest little lettuce monster holder at the moment, kind of crazy.
meet up IRL I'm gonna have to let him beat me at Mario party uh just to kind of like you know
it'll be like almost like a courtesy it'll be like all right well you know you you hold that
many of our assets it's kind of like what am I gonna do beat the brakes off it's not you know
what I mean it's like uh it'd just be rude so probably let you win that one but um hey now
that you prefaced it you know you could just use that as an excuse if you lose.
I'm way ahead of you, Harmon.
This is a chess match I'm playing.
This is not checkers, okay?
So, your boy has covered his bases.
Oh, my goodness.
Just kidding, Bricks.
We love you, fam.
And, yo, on with the show. Yo, Sadie, Connie, if you're still with us, I believe you are. You're not emoting because you're driving, and I'm glad that's the way you should be doing it. Not emoting.
Tell us a little bit about Nala NFT, the inspiration behind it, what you're building.
Again, I just picked up my Nala NFTs a week or two ago and very fun art.
Tell us a little bit about what you got going on.
Sure. So honestly, what can I say?
We're a cat project, but it's a lot more to it than just a cat project.
I feel like there are a few different animal projects floating around on the blockchain, but ours is a little more personal.
It's a little more close to our heart. It's actually literally inspired by the cat that I own.
So I hate explaining how the vision started because it's so complicated. Like
it's complicated, but it's not complicated. Like the whole idea is we're helping animals, right?
But it started out as a very, very sad story, which I love telling because I like bringing
awareness to the situation. But I also don't like telling because I don't like to make other people sad. But basically, six years ago, I met Nala when I was 17 years old, a woman
who had just immigrated to this country from Russia like a year prior. She found a pregnant
cat on the street, which at the time she didn't know was pregnant, and she didn't have the heart
to turn it over to an animal shelter or to adopt it out. So she just kept the cat. Um, and you know,
the cat had a smooth birth, nothing happened to the cat was completely healthy. And after that,
I guess she did bring the cat to an animal shelter. She just felt bad stressing the cat
out while the cat was pregnant, which I completely understand. You should never stress a pregnant cat
Not only is it bad for mama, but it is bad for babies. Just putting that out there, people.
Never stress out a pregnant animal. Don't stress out a pregnant anything. If it's pregnant,
leave it alone. How about that? So anyway, while she was adopting the mom cat out, she was also adopting out the kittens. And there was three of them.
There were two orange kittens and there was a tortoiseshell kitten. And I reached out to her after hearing her story. And I was like, I think I could help you because the kittens were still
fairly young. But I had had experience before with caring for very young kittens. So I thought,
why not give it a shot? I was 17. I was home all the time. I didn't do very much. So having something to care
for until 11 to actually have a responsibility seemed doable for me. So I didn't just get one,
I got two of the kittens. I got the tortoiseshell and I got the orange female kitten and I named
the tortoiseshell Lily and I named the orange cat Nala. And unfortunately, two years down the road,
the orange cat Nala. And unfortunately, two years down the road, Lily did pass away during child
birth, which was completely out of my control. She actually wasn't my cat. Nala is my cat, but
Lily was not my cat. She belonged to somebody that I don't very care for. I don't care for her
very much. And so, yeah, anyways, aside from that, Lily did you know unfortunately die during childbirth but I still do
have Nala she's going six years strong and that story kind of widened my eyes to like
the cat crisis on the streets I was like this lady literally opened her heart to a pregnant
cat that she took in off the street and I think that's so noble of her. So I started doing
some research into like my area and like the cat crisis numbers, like the cat homelessness numbers,
cat aid problems and restrictions and stuff like that and it was pretty detrimental. It was pretty
bad and a few years down the line I ended up moving to, it was like 30 minutes away. It was a state
over, but it was only a 30-minute difference, and boy, I thought the cat problem where I lived
previously was bad, but it got 10 times worse. I'm talking within my neighborhood, and I lived
really close to downtown, like near a main road, and there were at least like 20 to 30 cats on the street and none of
them were receiving health care none of them were being fed none of them were being led inside homes
they were all just on the street fending for their lives and it was a very extremely heartbreaking
and sad sight to see and it is still like it reminded me i was, oh, this is kind of the problem that I became aware of it when I adopted Nalo.
There's a serious cat crisis in America right now.
And clearly it's not just where you go.
And even now, living in Michigan, it's still a problem.
I live in Flint, Michigan, and there's cats all over the damn place.
There's cats everywhere.
Oh my God. And trust me people, if I could, I would take them all in, but I already have five and that would be extremely
crazy of me to take in anymore. So yeah, but it just, it, it made me want to do something about
it, you know, cause I love animals. Animals are like my favorite
thing in the whole world. I was raised with cats and dogs. I was raised with reptiles. I was raised
with amphibians. I was raised with all kinds of different animals. So I've never been shy to love
an animal. I always tell people I would pet a crocodile if I could, because I literally probably
would. Honestly, if it wouldn't bite me or take my head off, I'd pet a crocodile.
They look kind of cute, big old swamp puppies.
So I was like, I feel like I could do something.
Like, I'm one person, but, like, what if me as one person instilled, like, a big number of people to do something and we all, like, made a big difference?
And, you know, I'm super in with crypto.
I've been in the web 3 space
since like 2022 now that's when I started off the grass was back in like November of 2022 and I was
like I've seen what the snout bears are doing and I've seen what some other like you know big names
are doing in the NFT space and they're using it as a way to raise awareness and, you know, to gain acceptance
and to gain education as well on the surrounding issues that they're promoting.
And I was like, I genuinely feel like I could do that.
And I could raise a lot of awareness and bring like I could bring the problem right under
people's noses, basically.
So I bit the bullet and I was like, you know what,
even if it doesn't work out, at least I'm out here screaming about cat issues. Cats are being
dumped. Cats are homeless. Cats are not receiving vet care. Cats are not being fed. Cats are being
discarded. And a lot of it stems from COVID, honestly, because when our doors shut and
everybody was locked inside for months and
months and months, the one thing they couldn't stop themselves from doing was buying a pet.
Because when you're locked inside, what's the better thing to do than to get a pet that's
also locked inside with you 24-7? But the problem was when people went back to work
and their kids went back to school, they stopped giving a shit.
And all these animals ended up in shelters or on the streets, which is absolutely fucking...
...I wanted to raise awareness about, you know?
Cats are not only being discarded, they're straight up being abandoned.
Like, people are literally getting animals under the guise that it's going to be easy for them, and this fluffy little thing is going to do whatever they want, and it's,
you know, cater to their needs, and that's just not what animals do, honestly. I'm sorry. If you
get a dog or you get a cat and you're expecting it to listen to every word you say, you're sadly
mistaken. You're going to end up unhappy. But it's just another
thing I wanted to raise awareness about. So like I said, I was like, I'm going to bite the bullet.
I'm going to see what people in the Web3 community think. And I started Nala NFT and I wanted to
keep it really personal, but also like put a face behind it that I felt like people could relate to. And Nala was just that face.
Since I've had Nala for six years, all I've known from that cat is love and joy, genuinely. Like,
she is different. I don't know how to explain it. She's not like a regular cat. Like, Nala is the
mother of my household. She takes care of all the people. She takes care of the dogs. She takes care of the other cats. She's just a ray of sunshine. She's quite literally a sunflower. And I wanted to capture that in the NFT collection. Something so giving, something so selfless, something so amazing, and something so personal as well, because, you know, Nala is very personal to me. I love Nala and she brings me an
immense amount of happiness. So if I could give you guys just a little bit of that happiness back
when you guys mint your NFTs, that's all I really needed. So that's kind of where Nala NFT came from.
That's why I started Nala NFT. Right now we're on Polygon. We're mint minting for i think it's about eight dollars and fifty cents or maybe eight dollars and sixty cents somewhere around that range and uh every single mint 70
to all about animals rescue the state of michigan as well as a rubber bracelet and three stickers
for each mint as well so it's kind of who we are it's kind of what we are. It's kind of what we're doing.
Helping the kitties. We want to make a difference out here. One Nala NFT at a time.
No, I love it. So, you've got a large portion of your funds going to animal rescue.
Essentially, it sounds like education is going to be the main push that you guys have, right?
Raising awareness, making sure everyone kind of knows about the problems going on with the stray cats. I didn't realize maybe this is me being naive.
Maybe it's me not living in a big city.
but I had no idea it was like quite as bad as you're saying.
But I had no idea it was quite as bad as you're saying.
Like, again, I have, I've not been to, to Flynn, Michigan,
but that's, that's crazy to think of like you,
they're everywhere like that. You know, I can see how that,
especially you being a huge cat lover, like you see that and you're like,
I got, I kind of got to do something about it.
Like how can we bring this into web three?
Like I've got a network in web three.
I'm sure there are people in this space
that kind of care about this as well.
You know, you can't be the only one
because obviously, you know, there's definitely efforts
in the web two space for this kind of advocacy.
So, you know, bringing it to web three,
I think is pretty cool.
And again, putting your personal touch on it, Nala,
it makes it a little more significant
right because it's like you know i'm guessing i haven't i don't i have seen pictures of nala
it's slipping my memory but the nfts do kind of look like her right it is quite literally based
in that sense off of her yeah they look exactly like her i'm actually gonna pin a post to the top of nala so you guys
can see but what i did was my i have an artist friend his name is denny he's a super talented
guy that lives in indonesia he helped me with off the grass he's helped me with a few side quests
basically anytime i have a loose idea about art i bring it to him and he makes the bigger picture out of it.
And I literally thank God for this man and his beautiful soul because my stupid ass sent him a picture of my cat,
sent him a trait list and literally said, what did you do?
What can you do?
Make it happen.
Show me Denny.
And he did it.
He did the damn thing.
So I'm super proud of him I couldn't have asked
for anything better and yes you are correct it is exact copy of my cat Nala
no that's too cool yeah when you find an artist like that you got to keep them because that's uh
we kind of had the similar kind of thing happen with cancel tech you know we uh obviously he had
made a 3d model of our our canna
buddy back in the day you know we were tinkering with the idea of you know having a 3d canna buddy
collection way back but he had done one and we we pitched lettuce monsters to him and it was kind
of cool seeing like it's kind of like he got us you know what i mean he knew the style we were
going for he was able to you know really bring it to life so uh the fact that
you were able to send a picture and a trait list and uh you know it come out like that is is is
pretty awesome so now a lot of people don't get that lucky i feel like there's a lot of trial and
error with the art you're not pleased but uh you know always a plus when it comes out you know
cute and ideal in the first place you know, always a plus when it comes out, you know, cute and ideal in the first place, you know.
Yeah, honestly, he was fucking brilliant.
I couldn't have asked for anything better.
He really captured her silliness, but yet her daintiness and her gracefulness.
The color was spot on.
The stripes were completely spot on.
The tail was right.
I mean, it looks exactly like Nala.
I went ahead and pinned a post up top.
I pinned two posts, actually.
One of them is our mint website, in case you guys wanted to go check out and maybe mint some Nalas.
And then I also posted a picture of Nala herself, so you guys can actually make the comparison of the two.
So cute. Yeah, I just gave that a like. Let's grow. And cool. Oh, that's, I like how you added
on the Mint post, like how much money you've raised. And I'm guessing, so question, are you
able to send to the organization, like, are you able to send them crypto or is it just cashing out the crypto and sending USD?
Because I know some, I didn't get the name of the charity you're donating to, but I know some are kind of weird about accepting crypto.
I was just wondering if you had any run-ins with that.
you had any run-ins with that? Yeah, so the rescue we're donating to is all about Animals Rescue here
in Michigan, and they don't really mess with crypto, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to
transfer it to USD, and then I'm going to cash it out, and I'm going to write a check, and then I'm
going to bring them the check, and I'm going to post the transaction on X and in our Discord and everything
so people can keep up with where the money has gone.
I'm also going to post a picture of the check and I'm going to post a picture of me with the staff at the rescue
so that everybody has full proof from the beginning to end of the money being cashed out
and the money actually getting to the rescue and them accepting it getting to.
So that's what our idea is. People have been rocking with it so far. I mean, you're right,
not everybody fucks with crypto. So it is what it is. But hey, I mean, they're still going to get
the money. And also, I kind of wanted to make it more personal. My cat gets her vet care there.
So to see the smiles on their face when I not only bring my cat in,
but I also bring them the check, I think that's going to be pretty super cool. But yeah, we've
raised $100 so far. So 70 of that is going to be going to the rescue. I know that doesn't seem like
a lot. But when your NFTs are only $8.50 each, shit, it changes the world. Plus, we're thinking cats here.
I mean, $100, that can probably help like 10 cats, you know what I'm saying?
So the farther we go up, the more cats we help, and that's all I really care about.
It was never about the money for me, which is why we're donating so much of the money
to the rescue.
I want other cats to be taken care of.
And then whatever money we do keep, I'm not even keeping it. I'm using it for Nala so you know it is what it is it's all about the
kitties 100% around let's go I love it and yeah look I don't think anyone would
call you you know call your bluff on did you actually send the check in obviously
I guess some people would but I'm more so i you know it's obviously good
content you know people like knowing that the you know the money they're spending on an nft is like
it's it's going to something right and that's why everyone wants to see you know i i'm not a huge
believer in like these big articulate roadmaps i know that was the meta a while back everyone
wanted to know where every dollar was being allocated right um but i mean that that was the meta a while back. Everyone wanted to know where every dollar was being allocated, right?
But, I mean, that's the reason roadmaps were so important to people.
So I think it is kind of cool.
People, they get the NFT and then they see, you know, the actual benefit, you know, you, you know, directly where the money is going, how it's helping, like that kind of stuff makes it makes us feel good, you know.
So I think that's awesome. makes us feel good, you know? So I think,
I think that's awesome. That's pretty cool. You know, I guess, so you have the Mint site up there.
Is there, tell us a little bit about like the Mint. Is there, you know, this is a passion project that you said is, you know, it hits home to you. As far as marketing, I know you've got a discord,
you're on X. Is there, is that where we should plug in to, you know, I know you've got a weekly
space as well that you just recently started. I think I plugged that earlier, but I guess before
anything, you said that's, is that Wednesday's at six or when are you doing that space?
Wednesday's at 6 or when are you doing that space?
Yeah, so right now we're only on X and Discord.
Instagram is a touchy place for me.
I'm sure you know you've got the little lettuce monsters on there.
It's a tough crowd meta.
So it is what it is.
But X and Discord.
Discord is, again, a little touchy, but we're doing fairly well on X.
I think we've got a lot of eyes on us. I know we've only got like 86 followers, but we've gone
up to like 2,000 impressions, which I know impressions, people say it's just part of the
algorithm and it doesn't really matter. But eyes is eyes at the end of the day, so I'm here for it.
And yeah, we're on X.
We're on Discord.
You can find the Discord link in our bio.
And we do have the weekly space, Crypto Kitty Wednesdays.
Every single Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
And we usually have one or two special guests to come on
and talk about what they're building.
And we kind of just bump.
You know, it's a little friendly space anybody can really
come up and say what they wish and kind of you know just be themselves
let's grow i apologize for getting for forgetting the name of the space crypto kitty wednesdays um
i i think i got it now it's so bad because we, again, Little Lettuce Monsters were just a guest in that space a
few weeks ago for episode one.
Um, and had a great time.
It was fun.
Obviously, always nice when you get to get your art, your, you know, what you're building
in front of new people.
So, uh, we're here for it.
And, uh, very cool.
Yeah, we, we are not on discord.
I think Nala NFT is one of the few discords that
i am personally in um you know i'm i'll try to be look i'll try to be a little more active but
um you know i i think it's cool that you've got that x and dude i kind of disagree with the
instagram i feel like there's so many cat lovers on Insta. Maybe I understand that like the whole
NFT, you know, look, there's not a whole lot of NFT stuff going on on Instagram. It's that kind
of dead in that aspect, I believe. But I don't know, man, some actual pictures of Nala. Like,
you know, I there's a lot of hashtags related to cats and like cat rescue. I don't know.
there's a lot of hashtags related to cats and like cat rescue.
I don't know.
Don't maybe,
maybe be open-minded to it,
and you can always count,
on lettuce monsters being a mutual and we'll look,
we'll throw you a like every now and then we'll like a few posts now and
then we're pretty,
we're pretty good about that.
So I don't know,
just an idea.
when I scroll and I see a picture of cat,
I'll throw a little like.
That's just me, but...
Yeah, I mean, I'll keep my mind open to it.
I've thought about that because Nala, a lot of people have told me that she's unique
because not only is she a female orange cat, which I don't know if any of you listeners know,
but only like 30% of all orange
cats in the world are female. And plus she's fluffy. So it's pretty cool. I mean, I feel like
she could gain some attention, but there is a lot of cats on Instagram. So I guess
to each their own, I just have to get out there and put my best paw forward, I guess.
get out there and put my best paw forward, I guess.
Yeah. Just Instagram being, now that I think about it, there are probably owners who are like,
post a picture of their cat every single day of the week. So I, yeah, I've, I'll be completely
honest. I have not straight up searched cats on Instagram, but yeah, maybe, maybe that's probably one of the more crazy hashtags. I don't know.
Just an idea. I, I have fun with the, with the Instagram stuff.
So maybe I'm a little bit biased, but no, very cool. Look, I, I, I,
you know, I'm asking these questions from a different place because, you know,
I, I know quite a bit about Nala. I feel, you know,
I obviously can't give your pitch like you can, you know, I know quite a bit about Nala, I feel. You know, I obviously can't give your pitch like you can.
You know, it is very close to home,
and you can definitely hear that it's passionate to you.
You know, this is not just a, as you said,
it's not about the money for you.
If it was about the money, you know,
it would be a larger collection,
and they wouldn't be under $10 each.
You know what I mean?
You're just doing it to, again, raise awareness, education, and and give back a little bit so that's something we can get behind i'm glad i was able to
pick up the three pack um and yeah guys make sure you guys show some love to the pin post up top
uh again very very cute cat i'd seen i'd seen a picture of Nala before, I know I had, but I forgot that she looks quite
literally identical to the, you know, just a non-animated version of your PFP, which is kind
of cool. So we're here for it. I guess if anyone has any, I do want to invite anyone from the
audience if they want to come up, chop it up.
We've had a couple people request during the space, but both of them were not following us and I did not recognize the accounts, which is, you know, many such cases.
mutuals people we've seen before that are not bots want to come up and ask any related questions to
nala nft or or tricky buddha and d5 space donkeys for that matter definitely want to get some of
those questions answered before we wrap this thing up i did notice tony tagging three people engaging
with the room uh and he was the one that max engaged
so i went ahead and sent him five dollars a weed token congrats let's grow dude tony the posts work
man keep it up dude tony made such a cool um because here's the thing i make these ai posts
you know like probably about once a day for the timeline.
And I'm very picky. I make a lot of posts and then I only post a few of them, like a lot of graphics.
I try to post the clean ones and I'm like, ah, holders, come on, like, let's make some content.
I want to see your NFTs and Nifty Island. I want to see your own graphics.
And Tony hit such a cool one the other other day we reposted the timeline like
yeah homie is a a very solid community member so yeah shout out to you for
again yeah just tagging people engaged and then you you know you get rewarded so
tricky hooking you up with a bag of weed you'll love to see it um appreciate you doing that tricky
very cool tony's a real one i love
this job man this is fucking awesome like 40 of supply just to give away to the homies for for
doing the thing like let's go go get your weed guys meme for weed let's go i'm gonna look i'm
really looking forward to like irl events too i mean shoot i already we
were already having a good time with our current sponsors i've got a couple other
weed sponsors when i lock these guys in it's gonna be a whole another game
let's grow yeah dude i'm i'm all for it and yeah like it it is pretty cool because i think it is
you know someone might say like oh, five dollars of a token.
Like, dude, when people get some token, they tend to plug in a little bit.
They'll engage.
They might get more.
It's on their radar now.
Like, you get a new unique holder.
Like, I think that's what it's all about.
And also, like, you know, I think it is very smart bringing the account in the space, get some more uh some recognition on it you know it's cool so absolutely and that was a pleasant surprise
learning about that as well i wasn't expecting that tonight and it's and it's early like i've
got i've got four or five benchmarks i want to hit before we even have our celebration party so if
you just hold if you hold that till i, and I actually hit those goals, we're talking like another 40 X on that $5. So, uh, you know, $5 ain't much until it 40 Xs.
No, I, I hear you fam. Yeah. Not financial advice, but I'm, I'm kind of in the same boat. I,
I'm a, I'm a big fan of the, uh, anymil market cap tokens that have good communities behind them.
I have fun with that.
Obviously, a lot of them don't make it.
There's a lot of bad actors in the space, but you find cool ones.
It's so weird in the space because there's so many weird legality things. Look, all
I say is that I like supporting the homies.
That's all I'll say. Whether it be Nala NFT, whether it be
getting some cat NFTs, whether it be having a DeFi
space donkey, having a bag of weed.
We want to support those who are who are actively
building and doing right in the space so and and i hope to get you know sponsors and stuff but i
talk about the good projects i like regardless and then if i have opportunities for them i'll you
know i'll mention it you like like metarides for example right like metarides approached me i always
just love shouting them out trying if i can connect them with something you know that's that's what the space should all be about so
yeah that's what's up man just see where you fit in all right
no let's i i completely agree you got to find your people and uh you know that's a lot easier
to do when you're plugged in and you're in these spaces and you're grabbing a mic.
Everyone in the audience, you're grabbing them.
I'm just kidding.
Look, it's nine.
It's nine fifty four.
Look, usually when I guilt people and not coming to the stage, it's like early in the show.
But I am approaching my bedtime rapidly.
And also I'm in my kitchen, which is like, you know, I do.
I got a fridge. Look, when I'm in my office, it's easy because you know, I, dude, I got a fridge.
Look, when I'm in my office, it's easy. Cause I'm like, okay, office, cross the hall, bedroom.
But I walk past my refrigerator and my pantry, which is like, oh, good Lord.
You know what I mean?
So that's going to be, and I'm already trying to, you know, I'm working on that battle as
we speak, but real quick before we wrap this up, I did want to know, Tricky Nala or Sadie rather, I don't say it tricky.
If there's anything you guys missed that you want to touch on real quick, anything you want to promote last second.
Again, we want to encourage everyone to hit the pin post up top but uh anything you missed
um i want to make sure we plug that um real quick before we wrap this up
i always got those spaces uh four till six p.m eastern where i'm just giving away my time monday
and wednesday take advantage of it you don't gotta pay for it you know just that those are the days
and if you want to like do an interview or do anything else, I'm basically live every day this week now.
So just you just got to find me at the same time.
Just maybe a different channel.
But yeah, four to six, man.
So stop in.
Ask questions.
Let's chill.
Let's grow.
Yeah, dude, I will.
I will definitely be pulling up to those more.
And I'm very excited for your birthday batch next month, dude. I will definitely be pulling up to those more, and I'm very excited for your birthday batch next month, dude.
And again, guys, I'm not holding the same kind of thing for my birthday, so chill out. Out of my DMs. We're not doing it.
Nala, NFT, anything you want to close on?
not really i mean there's a bunch of ideas going up in the air in the back end like maybe the
possibility of us producing like like not big quantities but like maybe to our holders only
like batches of homemade treats or like homemade cans of wet food or like you know like that fresh pet crap we've been
thinking about doing that we're just finding new ways to incentivize our holders and give some
because we want we want this to be inviting for people you know so yeah just wanted to let people
know there's always new things coming up in nala nft we're always finding new ways to reinvent
ourself and we can't wait to make a big old donation
to All About Animals Rescue when we mint out.
Yo, let's grow.
We're here for it.
And yo, I don't have any cats,
so that wet food, make sure that people can eat it too.
That would be dope because I'll, you know,
I want to, you know, make sure.
I want to make sure I can get a midnight snack you know i'm
about to about to hit the hay you know i got a little tummy rumbling that would a little you know
that would hit right now so uh no all right guys this has been episode four of chop it up thank you
so much for joining us tonight shout out to tricky budd Buddha and the DeFi Space Donkeys, as well as Sadie and Nala NFT.
Had a great time learning a little bit about what they're building tonight, getting a little deeper dive.
I say a little bit, but this was a deep dive.
I want to give a special shout out to Tony for winning the Weed giveaway.
And a special shout out for Bricks winning the Little Lettuce Monster tonight.
Shout out to both of you guys.
Appreciate you guys for being in the space.
Thank you to everyone who came to the mic.
