cool to talk about this to share with your community a little bit about this new use that
we have for the token and also to talk a little bit more about your project as well share any
news that you have about your project with the community. But let's get right to the point first.
Esko, do you want to tell people a little bit what is Soft Staking, what we just launched
and what it is that we're doing here at Hedgehog?

Happy to, really excited about Soft Staking.
Yeah, like I said, 2 million, CDL already committed.
And it happened like less in 24 hours. You, it's kind of a, it's kind of a, you always need to,
you don't know, you don't know what happened before you launched this kind of campaign. You can have like Zeely campaigns or whatever community quests and you can see some kind of a validation on follower base.
But like you really see is there demand on your project when you see that like people are willing to commit liquidity behind your project?
And like 2 million in less than 24 hours, I think that was like a very good validation.
So I'm super happy for that.
I'm super happy and proud for our entire team who has been working relentlessly to kind of push this out.

what is SOB staking? SOP staking is a liquidity
bootstrapping campaign initiative. When we collect intent to deposit as a liquidity provider once the mainnet is live. So at this point what you do, we have whitelisted all the
top projects on the Sonic ecosystem. And if you hold those tokens on your wallet, you can sign
and commit some assets, amount of assets which you will later on will be depositing on our liquidity pools.
After you sign the commitment, our hog rewards start to accumulate instantly.
And there is no smart contract, there is no smart contract like interaction. Funds don't leave your wallet at all. In fact, you are in total custody of your assets.
But the first thing is that it's not just like hodl and farm. That is not the way
that is not
the way
you do
sustainable
project and sustainable
tokenomics or whatever
this is not like a
hold to earn, this is commit to earn
so basically yes, you will be
accumulating rewards
as soon as you sign the intent
but you will be getting
those rewards.

but you need to deposit, when the mainnet is live to liquidity pool to receive those rewards.
So, like, it's just not about totally until that part it is, but the rewards kick in when you have committed that amount of liquidity you signed to commit.
And especially this is, of course, good for us to showcase for ourselves as a project
that what kind of LP boost we can expect from like third party when the main is live.
But also simultaneously we create here a very secure way, because like I said, there's
no smart projects risking it, for partner projects to add utility for their token.
So I think that is why we basically got all the major projects as partners for this first cohort,
because it just rewards their community. Now if you hold Origin Token OS or you hold just
Sonic S or Wrapped S or Derp goggles, whatever, You have added utility for the token.
You don't need to keep it in your wallet.
You just can make it to work and kind of assign intent for being like future LP.
Yeah, and that's why we invited our partners here as well,
because we wanted to hear a little bit from them as well. I
mean they do have projects on Sonic, their biggest projects on Sonic, right? Even Sonic themselves is
here as well. Their tokens already have a lot of utility, they have big communities, but we were really happy to have them partner and accept the offer to
have their to added another utility for their tokens.
And we did receive a lot of positive feedback from the community itself, because it's pretty
cool that you get to hold a project token, believe in a project, and then just by doing
that, you get rewarded
from another project. And I think we're getting a lot of that from being in the Sonic ecosystem.
I feel like we get a lot of support from a lot of the other Sonic projects. So I want to hear

What was the feedback that you heard from it? How do you guys feel about like partnering with
other projects regarding this. Yeah.

I can go first here.
We've been, for those of you who may not be familiar with Origin Protocol,
we make yield bearing tokens for smart money. We've been around the space now for about seven years.
We've been working in DeFi for
six years or so. We invented the yield-bearing stablecoin back in the day and worked closely
with Yearn. So when Sonic was launching, we got in relatively early this year. We launched OS,
which took our code base from our yield-bearing stablecoin, which is on Ethereum mainnet,
and brought it over to Sonic as a Sonic liquid staking token. So we're really excited to be expanding within Sonic's
ecosystem. As you mentioned, we are integrated with Hedgehog. We're also integrated with Silo,
Euler, a lot of different protocols to give our token utility for those looking to loop or maybe
do soft staking or some of these other activities on Sonic.
So it's been a great ride so far.
We just actually launched another product maybe we'll get into.
It's called the ARM, Automated Redemption Manager.
But I don't believe that's actually integrated with Hedgehog yet.
There isn't much composability with that ARM, but there is right now for Origin Sonic.
So that's one of the tokens, as you mentioned,
that you could use for soft staking to commit some funds.
That's perfect.
And it was actually really good that you said a little bit about Origin as well.
If you guys want to tell us a little bit about your project,
I know you guys are already big in the ecosystem,
but it's always good to introduce your project first because there might be someone here in the chat that doesn't know you yet.

Yeah, I'm a big fan.
I'm Ali from formerly known as Magpie Protocol, now known as Fly.Tray, where one of the leading aggregators on Sonic.
A big fan of Hedgehog,
I'm excited about this new soft-saking endeavor. I feel like it's pretty unique in the way that
it's been structured. So yeah, I'm quite excited about how this plays out. I've been a fan of
Hedgehog in general in terms of what it represents so so yeah speaking of fly where
liquidity aggregator we allow you to execute swaps any asset to any assets across all of the chains
that we support um that works really well for us in conjunction with hedgehog because uh um
yeah you can hedge the gas that you might pay on on any chain and that's uh it's always exciting for businesses
like ours and for our users as well that uh happen to be active traders so uh this soft
staking initiative in my opinion is something quite unique and exciting and i'm i'm a big fan
of how things have been done and the the success that they've seen and strongly recommend our community to kind of participate in that.

big partners for a while now. We actually like met in person already and everything.
So it's really cool to be working closely with you guys
uh ash do you want to talk a little bit like from the sonic standpoint like we get a lot of support from you guys to partner how do you see like the partnerships from all these projects how
does sonic feel a little bit about that yeah for sure i mean, so back in the Phantom days, there was a lot of like quiet periods where we didn't
really focus on the apps on the network too much.
And, you know, that was a big mistake before my day, of course.
But with Sonic, we want the apps to sort of be part of the journey.
So that's why we throw all these events now for the past year.
We throw the summit in Vienna and Singapore.
And we really want to highlight the apps because, you know, I was on a space earlier and I said that, you know, I believe blockchain is the infrastructure and it should really be the apps that market themselves.
But unfortunately, that's not the industry right now.
And we have to realize that like the foundation behind blockchains have a major impact on the apps on the network.
So anytime a new primitive comes out, like the soft staking on chain, which is super cool,
we really want to support that because it's just a development of, you know, like a few years ago,
you would have to lock your tokens and, you know, you couldn't exit your positions or none of that. So you put yourself at risk just to earn something that you don't know would have value or not.
But now with these new primitives, we're offering users far more things.
And it's the apps on the network that do that, not us.
So we really want to support them that way.
In terms of partnerships, as I said, we really want to take it out into the real world.
So, for example, through Summit, we offer speaking opportunities in these things.
So it's not just tweets going out, but actually people speaking in real life about these things.
And we're hoping to expand that part.
I don't know if you guys saw,
but literally just two minutes ago,
we just posted that Dracula Presley
is gonna be joining our team as head of ecosystem.
And he's gonna be playing a huge part
in communicating to builders, apps, the community,
and just to connect everything,
because we've not been so good at that.
We've sort of had a hand in it,
but now there's going to be a direct line of contact
between Sonic Labs and every app and builder on the network.
That's cool.

soft staking has been filling up in the speed of sonic as fast as sonic is so it's been really
cool to see it's been such a huge success. And I feel like the partnerships with all of these really cool projects and Sonic has really helped,
like promote a lot of the things that we've been doing.
And for the future epochs, where we already have kind of like a whitelist for future projects that we want to partner with as well.
Do you want to talk a little bit about that,ko, like for future Epochs, how we
want to partner with more projects? Yeah, of course. Like if you, well yeah, like
HiMentures, we already have like a list of projects who have contacted us who wanted to
contacted us who wanted to be whitelisted. Well in fact like when we were planning this
soft staking, I was thinking that okay maybe we can get like a few projects whitelisted and
like partner with us but at the end of the day well I think we got like all the major ones and
now we have a like list of projects who want to who wants to kind of join join uh
to be one of the white list white listed assets but yeah if you are like this i extend this for
entire sonic ecosystem if you are legitimate project building really something good something
defy some something which really benefits the ecosystem.
If you have a token out, just if you want to have an added utility for your token, just reach us and we can check through that.

Yeah, I was so it was really good to me that every project that we're pretty much
reached out to had a really positive feedback and everyone was eager to hop on.

Esko, is there anything else you would like to share regarding soft staking specifically?
Maybe talk about the questions that the community has been having about soft staking?

Well, yeah,
there have been, yeah, maybe I can go
through, like, there's a few
kind of questions that have been popping
out,
like, a little bit more
than others,
but, like, people are
many times asking
to, how do we draw from
soft staking? Well, the answer is how do we draw from soft staking?
Well, the answer is, you don't withdraw from soft staking.
Because you haven't deposited anything.
So basically, if you want to stop committing, you will just transfer your funds out of your wallet.
Or you swap it to another asset so we are taking snapshots of wallets and when we detect
that there is not that amount committed amount anymore in the wallet it's just kind of a stuff
the rewards of accumulating so you don't you don't need to you don't need to withdraw
uh anything from it and and yeah also well, well, I also touched this subject,
but just kind of want to clarify it that
even though you see the tokens, the rewards,
dripping in the dashboard, that doesn't mean
that you can claim the tokens once the main event is live.
It means that once you deposited that
asset you have committed to uh liquidity pool then you are unified for for those rewards
and uh i don't i think i think there's like you know there's no more questions what have been
asked i think this this yeah i think that was the main question. Yeah yeah because like this this approach and this design is like very
straightforward. Yeah. Like I was I was even like very amazed at how little of questions we got
bombarded around this around the subject and majority was basically the same. We had we had
the team like yesterday like ready to answer like to be bombarded with questions. We had a team yesterday ready to answer,
to be bombarded with questions.
We were sitting down in front of the computer,
ready to answer a bunch of questions.
And most of the questions were just really simple.
And it was a pretty smooth launch as well.
So I was really, really happy.
I was really excited uh with this launch like the feeling was like really
cool to do such a small uh such a smooth launch and have a few questions um asked but i think
that was the main question a lot of people asking um how to withdraw you can't withdraw yet um you
only be able to get your rewards once we actually launch and you actually commit the tokens that you, well, you committed to, right?

I know this was a space that's more focused towards our soft staking.
This was something new that we did and we wanted to talk about with the community.
But we also want to give you some space to tell the community about something exciting that you've been building
or that you're excited about like a recent launch or something that you're looking forward to in your project.

Yeah, of course.
Yeah, so as you guys have probably seen,
Sonic Gems are on the way.
Origin Protocol just got their distribution of S,
so we're going to start incentivizing markets.
I know that a lot of protocols have already distributed those S incentives, but Origin's
doing it a little bit differently. So now that we have the S, we're going to be incentivizing
some specific markets on Sonic. So if you guys are users of Pendle, then look out for incentives
on the OS market coming probably next week.
And if you're into looping and getting leverage on liquid staking tokens,
then keep an eye out for our wrapped OS silo market and our wrapped OS spoiler market, because those two will also be getting incentives.
So the spread that you'll be able to make through looping is going to become
more profitable.
So there should be a really nice opportunity in the coming week or so for you guys to earn more S incentives through that GEMS program.
And then I won't keep you guys too long on this, but I want to shout out our Sonic Arm because we
recently launched that. I got some DEX aggregator integrations, but it's been generating some really
good yield. It's a very simple strategy. Basically, you're arbitraging the prices of LSTs.
So whenever OS drifts off of PEG, the ARM buys it off of the market and then redeems it through the redemption queue one-to-one.
So you're earning on that spread.
It's a really low-risk strategy.
I mentioned that we'll be tokenizing LP deposits soon.
But you can check both OS out and the ARM at app.originprotocol.com. I believe the
Sonic Arm is currently yielding the seven-day trailing average is something like 18%.
14-day moving average is something like 10%. So really nice yields. It is a bit more volatile
yield, so don't expect 15% consistently just because it's taking advantage of the LST volatility.
So when there are more stable market conditions, we do route the funds through silos. So you'll
be at least earning lending APYs on your S. And then in times of market volatility, you're
arbitraging LST prices to earn even more. So really exciting, unique product that we just launched on Sonic.
We've had it on Ethereum for Lido Staked ETH for over a year now.
It's done over a billion dollars of volume.
Super excited to grow that product on Sonic now.
So those are the two updates on my side.
We'll pass it over to someone else.
That sounds pretty cool.

Because we are one of the aggregators, aggregating Origins on.
And it's pretty good for pricing.
So you can head over to Fly if you're trying to trade some of these assets.
But yeah, and so the other thing that Origins mentioned was on the subject of fragments or gems.
We've got Magpie fragments that we haven't, some of the fragments that we haven't distributed yet
that will be given out along with some wrapped-esque incentives for users to trade.
That's something that we're excited about.
People will be incentivized to trade different major assets within the Sonic ecosystem.

Next up after that, once we do this pilot with incentives in Sonic,
we'll be getting ready for XFly emissions as well.
And revenue share is something that our community has been looking forward to for a while.
So something that I'm personally excited about as well,
to incentivize users to trade, participate within the Sonic ecosystem,
trade the LSTs, pay the major assets, and we're going to be your go-to destination to do so.
So I'm quite excited about that.
There's going to be more and more yield opportunities to look at on Sonic,
Origin, Silo, Euler, everybody's just doing amazing work.
I think they will continue to do that that and we'll do what we can to
support that. And so we're still, and Sonic is still going to be the place for you to find the
best yields and find the best trading opportunities. So keep an eye out for what we're doing, keep an
