Thank you. Thank you. you Hi guys, how everyone? Welcome to today's community call about VAR Ambassador Program 2.0.
We are just currently waiting for Luis as he's one of the hosts today. So I didn't want you to let waiting without information about what's going on
so in the meantime let's wait a few minutes for him to join and then we're gonna start
basically we're gonna cover a few questions regarding the new update of the latest ambassador program.
And then in the end, if you have some questions, you can even ask them live.
But now let's wait for Luis.
Hopefully, he's going to join soon.
So you can either ask questions live or you can also ask them under the XBASE.
If he will not join in a few minutes, I guess I'm going to go through the question and also answer them by myself.
But let's hope he's going to join.
I see Aditya here.
I see also some ambassadors joining, so welcome guys and yeah.
So I have messaged Luis to join and hopefully he's going to join soon.
Let's give it one more minute and if he is not here, I just hope nothing bad happened and everything is okay so
I see also Aditya here if he would want to join to the stage instead of Luis you're welcome as well.
And I think we can just slowly start
and he will hopefully join.
I see already 14 people here in the Xpay. So hello guys. Welcome. Okay. Let's add Aditya.
Hi Aditya. Yes, I can hear you well yeah perfect so how's everything going yeah today is a very special
call for all the ambassadors that are recently uh applying for our ambassador program will learn a
lot from this amf for sure the community call yes so basically it was supposed to be me and Luis, but I don't want to wait more longer.
So I guess I can go through the question.
And if Aditya, would you like to add any comments, please do.
So yes, guys.
So as I mentioned, we're going to cover a few questions.
And if you have some other, please don't hesitate to ask them.
And let's all hope Luis will join us
So basically the first question is regarding
What is the idea behind this new version?
and what how does the version to others the limitation of the original program and
Why we actually completely redesigned.
So basically, as VARO network is decentralized, we have shared a lot of feedback forms with
the community in the past.
And we've been tracking and getting feedback from all the current ambassadors.
And we were obviously taking notes and tracking them and one
of the biggest feedback was kind of focus on the quality instead of the quantity and then also
ambassadors wanted to have more space to kind of have bigger space to share their words about VARA and more possibilities,
obviously, to get rewarded, etc. So I think that was one of the biggest reasons. But as I mentioned,
it was all based on the community and ambassadors' feedback. And as well for the new version,
there's going to be several feedback forms upcoming.
So we don't want the program be based on our input,
but we prefer when it's actually created by the ambassadors who are in it.
So we really want to make sure the community is hurt
and you know obviously we cannot agree with everything but we try our best so i think that's
the answer for the first question aditya would you like to add something some of your comments yeah so yeah everything that Claire mentioned is like
worth noticing and also about we have a contributors and like before launching this
war ambassador program 2.0 the contributors are from different areas different like parts of the
world and they are contributing in different areas whether whether it is technical, non-technical, video creation,
and a lot of other things.
But now this time it will be much more streamlined
and you will have a platform where you can participate
in more different ways.
And this will actually amplify your contribution skills
and the way you can contribute
and actually grow your expertise and your skill set as well.
And do share your feedbacks.
We are all ears.
We are actually working on that.
So everyone, the community is also, like, I guess you can see improving.
Would love to see your contributions growing.
And, yeah, happy to be here.
And let's grow together.
Thank you, aditya so another question is what what kind of like philosophy is behind shifting from volume base to quality focus contribution
model so i think basically before which was we didn't really give any more detailed tasks.
It was very like if you want to be part of the program,
if you want to be part of the VAR ecosystem, contribute and you will be valued.
But now we rather focus on less tasks.
We specify them basically on the needs of the project basically if there are some
you know test nets launches projects coming up so we rather do less but I
would say in bigger quality and that's also what's appreciated more so I think that would stay this answer.
Aditya, would you also want to comment on this?
Yeah, so I'm personally a huge believer about the quality should be more preferred than the quantity
because you can post thousand posts, but even if that doesn't provide any value
it's worth nothing so even though you can share something you can share on like for a global
telegram and then gain feedback whether it is working whether it is not where i should grow
and where i can improve that's the most important part and And you come from a lot of different programs,
but this will be different
because you will gain the industry-ready experience
from all the people that are working here.
So quantity, it's okay,
but quality should be at the top always.
So yeah, that's it, promise it.
All right, so let's go to the next question so which is about
the contribution tracks there are actually four main tracks it's a technical development content
creation event organization and leadership and community i'm just gonna go through some examples of tasks for each category
so you kind of have idea what can be expected in the program. So basically there are
from if I'm gonna start from the technical task there could be some code examples simple tutorial creation
or even some providing some ideas for simple development tools and or even some if we're
gonna go to some hard ones then there could be like developer tools etc etc then if we go to
content creation we're gonna again start from the easy like from simple Twitter
content posts LinkedIn post creation or even to some technical blog post
to some technical blog post, articles, and even to video series and educational resources.
And there's more and more and more, right?
Just to give you a simple idea.
And then when we go to events, usually it's either online or in person,
AMA, switcher spaces, or some workshop organization.
It could be, again, online or in person.
And if we go to this leadership, this is basically going to be,
this could be, for example, some big meetup organization or conference
helping it could be even onboarding a membership of ambassadors so there's a
lot of tasks in each section and to follow up with this as I mentioned, there's a tier system, easy, medium, hard.
And so we ensure that, you know, the newcomers and also experienced contributors can find their meaningful ways to participate.
I should explain them then everyone who's gonna join the program will first
be able to apply or do easy tasks. Once you complete successfully three easy
tasks you can move to medium tasks and once you complete three medium tasks
you can move to hard ones. So this is just some kind of
order to make it easier for those who don't have any experience, but also make sure that
the person who would want to do some hard tasks actually have the experience for this.
for this. And we also mentioned there are senior tasks. So another question, which is
what does the progression path look like for someone starting as a new ambassador
and maybe aiming to become a senior ambassador? So basically, I would say from my side that
So basically, I would say from my side that anyone who's going to prove themselves, that doesn't only create great content, but he's going on in the project understands the
project is helpful is around and actually doesn't wait for tasks to come him or be created for him
but brings the ideas and maybe new possible tasks or what could be improved so definitely people who wants to work who bring some drive would be
the great fit for senior position but aditya as a region lead he could also share what he thinks
what do you think about who could or should become senior ambassador yeah so from my side, the senior ambassador that we have now been part of Vara India and actually supporting Vara before I was there.
So I started as an ambassador previously with other projects as well.
So ambassador is like a great way to enter into Web3, to be honest, from my experience.
And even though you don't have any experience you
should have that curiosity to learn more and get better even though you will work with the same
people and the like if you have experience then gain that if you don't have that start from easy
then to medium then to hard tasks as well from my experience, you should have that curiosity.
First of all, what I feel that senior ambassador do have that the people
that just start doesn't is that they doesn't wait for chances to come to them,
but they actually do that.
And also like, I tell you go to documentation and start reading about vara but i shouldn't tell
you because you should have that much curiosity to go yourself and try it out build apps uh actually
try out a lot of program examples are there just for the non-technical technical part and even though
for the non-technical part you can just just see what Vara Global is posting, engage with, Vara Global Telegram.
And you can actually see about how the community is engaging.
Try out all your own things and share with the community.
That's how you will learn more about that.
And that's how your contributions will more matter.
And then it's not about senior or anything.
And then it's not about senior or anything.
It's just about how much you can contribute, how much you believe in the technology and how much you are eager to put the effort and do something that that's what it takes to go from zero to something that you want to go.
So, yeah, just keep building, I would say, whether it is tech, non-tech.
Just don't limit yourself to a certain extent
do whatever it takes to
get better
Yeah I think it's also important
to mention that sometimes people think
that joining project
as an ambassador
it's the end of their
journey but I think you should still want
to learn about others' projects.
You need to build your education about the whole blockchain,
how everything works.
And it's just going to give you more values for your next job.
So, for example, in my case, I have started as when I started,
I wasn't working in Web3, right?
But I started contributing in the Polkadot ecosystem.
I was active there and then I eventually became Polkadot ambassador.
And then that was the way how I got my first job in Web3.
So if you build your way through some ambassador-like programs,
you start being active on Twitter and you just try to bring some
value it could eventually give you full-time job in web3 so i think that's the the coolest thing
about ambassador programs so uh i see yeah yeah i as an i started as an ambassador as well
so i was part of our ambassador program in the initial phases. It's a great journey.
Yeah, Aditya is the best example. So I see Luis has joined us. Hello, Luis. How are you? Are you here with us?
here with us hey guys yeah good morning how are you we are good so we actually kind of started
Hey, guys. Yeah. Good morning. How are you?
without you so i hope it's okay aditya was uh great he he stepped in so but i think we can
continue and have you both with us here today so uh we're just gonna to continue to the next question. We kind of started this topic, but maybe Luis will bring more context.
And the question is, like, what does an ideal bar ambassador look like?
What are some key qualities, characteristics they should have?
And we are looking in community for contributions
yeah first i will say that you need to love blockchain you need to love technology
even though that you don't know a lot about it because this ecosystem is really interesting about what kind of
people is around and many use cases many applications many people searching
different different things but something important about Vara is the DNA about education, about learning, growing together,
and also creating cool things together.
Then if you are here because you like the technology,
because you like the vision, that's all the Barra Squad have.
And you want to join us to learn to teach.
Also, it's important if you know and you want to share your knowledge with the community,
that's a good starting.
Because in that way, it will be really easy to be part of this community.
And the path is not too long if you want to be important in the community.
I mean, like every people in the community is important, but if you want to share and you want to be in the spot, just if you like the technology, you will learn a lot.
You will be able to share also because there are different kind of online and offline events you can organize
one you can participate in one so it will be really easy in that way otherwise uh it's a
little bit complicated if you don't like it in general the technology or you don't need to be
technical i mean like uh when when i say that if you don't like the technology, I mean, like you need to have this curiosity about learning.
It's not like you need to be an expert.
So that's pretty much important.
I will say this is a really key feature.
is a really key feature.
But maybe Aditya can tell us also a little bit more,
because based on his experience and also you, Claire,
I guess that this is something that you can share a lot
because of all the path that you just started also
being part of communities, sharing your knowledge, organizing.
So I guess that nobody else and you can share also
how important it is to have some specific skills
to be part of this.
Yeah, Aditya, if you want to add some comments to this.
Yeah, sure.
So Luis mentioned a lot of great points so when you you should have that belief
and like inner drive to do something that um for example you don't need to be experienced or be
very technical because there's a lot of ways you can contribute without even have a technical
knowledge but it's better to have some technical knowledge to understand what is happening um
but it's better to have some technical knowledge to understand what is happening.
So I would say you can do a lot of educational content and around that as well.
So first of all, be curious.
You should have that in a drive to actually learn from your own rather than someone guiding you step by step.
It's good to ask questions without you can engage in
global telegram as i mentioned earlier as well so you should do something from your own as well
now you have a great platform with a graded program and yes that's what it takes
just get start and you will figure out your own i would say so i think to add something else but
you guys covered it pretty well i think for me is that it doesn't matter what you actually do
like where do you work it's if it's in web 2 or web 3 but you should like it you should believe in what do you do and you should be happy with that and this was
web3 for me so i think if anyone is looking for a job or wants to be part of any ambassador program
you need to believe in web3 you need to understand what it brings uh what it what why is it here what it wants to solve you need to understand
these terms because I know that projects doesn't want people in programs and in
that in their teams who doesn't have this understanding of the values web
free technologies bring so as Luis mentioned you don't need to be
technical but you need to understand what exactly this
technology, this project is solving and why is it important in the whole ecosystem.
And if you don't want to do this, if you don't like it, I mean, you can still try, but I
wouldn't want, I wouldn't recommend anyone to work and spend their time on something they don't like.
Because life is very short, yes, it has a lot of advantages.
But you still need to think about what you want to do in your heart.
So this was Web3 for me.
I know Luis is also living for what he is doing.
And he is doing perfectly. But you need to think, is this something I want to do?
And then, yes.
For example, organizing events is a great way how to meet people
and how to get connections.
Being part of programs as ambassador programs is a great way to understand
and learn about technologies.
And then this is the way how you start building your way
to maybe even getting full-time jobs.
So there's a lot of ways,
but you need to think about which is the best one for you.
I think we covered it pretty well.
So I think we can go to the next.
Yes, Luis.
Yeah, Claire, now that you mentioned this, I want to share go to the next. Yes, Luis?
Yeah, Claire, now that you mentioned this, I want to share something with the community
to prove how important it is to become part of this community
or in general, a community in Web3.
I'm not a public speaker person.
I am really introverted.
Well, I will say that I changed that through the time
because of Web3.
In my case, I used to be in the past
all the time in the computer.
That was my thing.
Sharing knowledge in my way also is like private ways.
Like I was able to teach to people in a private way one-to-one but not really
public. Through the time with Web3 my presence started like becoming more and more public and my
I'll start speaking with many people.
I guess I participate in at least five conferences with more like 500 people, like 1,000, something like this.
But in my case, it was really complicated.
This big bot, Web3, community meetups, conferences, workshops and all that.
And now I'm this person that I can be part of different events.
I can lead events.
I like it now.
Web3 changed that into my person.
So you also can learn and improve some skills that you have or that you want to have.
This is something really, really important, guys.
Yes, you see, Web3 can change you and you can start liking things you didn't like or also the opposite, right?
So, all right, another question.
I think we are covering these questions by just what we are saying now,
but if there is something we miss.
Luis, is there any advice you would give someone who is interested in joining but isn't really sure which contribution track fits in their skills best
and how can they maybe discover their strengths within the Vara ecosystem?
Yeah, absolutely.
I would say first, like, you need to learn about Vara in community.
And the best way is to check the past,
like articles, like tweets,
like start in social media,
be part of Telegram community, for example.
You have different options
because Vara supports different languages.
For example, for Latin people,
we have a Spanish channel.
For global people, an English channel. Also community in China, if you are Chinese or if you want to learn,
it's pretty important to be part of a local community. And after you understand what VARA is, like what kind of project,
because there are a lot of projects in the landscape and you say, oh, this is interesting.
I would like to be part of this. Then you can just apply to the ambassador program. But even
of that, if you're not ready yet, you can ask in the groups, like, what an ambassador is,
how can I help? I'm not technical, I am an artist, can I be part of it?
And yeah, everybody can be part of this.
But Aditya and Claire said something really important about learn, to understand what is this,
like technology, what is the vision of VARA and the community,
how it's growing together, then I'm pretty sure that you have a space, you will have a space here
with the VARA squad and do something really great together.
Yes, I think also like to figure out your strengths, I think Luis mentioned it perfectly well.
Like it doesn't mean that if you join Bara Chat and you find out about the ambassador program, you should join straight away because you will probably maybe you have some skills and you will get accepted.
will probably maybe you have some skills and you will get accepted but i think it's much better to
join this score first join telegram start asking some questions start learning about the project
because you shouldn't want to join program just because there is some but you should want to join
because you like the project so i would recommend just get yourself comfortable around,
ask some questions, talk to people, talk to the community,
ask them why they like the project,
and maybe it's going to help you to figure it out.
So we have a last question, and then if you have, guys, any questions,
we can give you mic and you can ask them,
or you can also comment under the post but my last question is actually what's your message to the bar
community listening today about why they should consider become ambassador for in
the bar ecosystem and maybe how they can make meaningful impact on VAR's future, Luis.
I want to answer this question with my...
When I start with VAR in general.
The thing is really incredible.
I remember I learned about gear because a friend of mine told me about this project years ago.
And he told me like it was created by a Russian guy called Nikolai, for example, in that moment of time.
And to be honest, Nikolai, it was not.
And my presence, like, okay, I know that there are different geniuses out there in the ecosystem.
Like, for example, guys, if you know a little bit about Web3, you have heard about Vitalik, you have heard about Gavin Wood, Charles Hoskinson, many people around. And when I learned about who was Nikolai in that moment of time, I said,
like, this is a really incredible project in terms of technology. So I was in love of the
project and I wanted to be part of this. Through the time I was part of the project and understood that not only Nikolai, but all the people inside the foundation are really, really talented, genius people.
And also the community. This is something really important because as a community, we share all our skills.
or skills. We are not experts in everything. And as I mentioned, our skills are not like good
about how can we learn and teach different things. We are different kind of people,
so we can learn and teach different kind of things, right?
This is what I love the most about the Vara squad,
the Vara community.
Like we can share what we know with the community
and this is for real.
This is something really, really real
that you can just start a conversation
in a space like this, for example,
and you always learn something new with the community because you need to be ready to be humble and say, okay, I am good in programming.
I'm good in community.
I'm good in public speaking.
But I'm not good in marketing.
I'm not good in social skills.
I'm not good in many, many things.
And you will learn a lot.
Trust me, a lot, a lot, a lot.
And what people say about Web3, for example, I have heard a lot that Web3 years is like the years of a dog.
It's like it's really fast.
One year, One human year
is like seven, eight,
animal year,
sorry. One animal year is like
seven, eight, ten
human years. This is because
Web3 blockchain
is evolving really fast.
Every time searching
what's new, how can we improve together this?
And that's the reason why you will learn a lot if you engage with all this movement,
because it's about technology, but also it's about learn and teach.
Yes, I think Luis just said it very beautifully so i don't think i have anything to add i think
we covered it pretty old but guys do you have any questions anyone who's here would you like to
ask any question if yes please just raise your hand and we will add you to the stage
We also get a comment under the X-PACE regarding if there is any
community in Vora. So as
was actually here before Aditya, he is the region lead there so
you can even get in touch with him and I'm sure he's gonna help you.
We have, yes, let's add big cans on the stage and then we will also add these.
Can you hear us?
Yeah, Jim, Jim, can you hear me?
Good, how are you? Yeah, I'm fine.
So, it's been nice listening to everything
you're saying. So, I hope I'm not, like,
I'm already... Do you have some questions?
Because your background is quite loud?
I just wanted to ask, currently there is no foreign community in Nigeria or Africa in
my region.
So I would just like to know that.
Do you guys support onboarding events like hosting events for normal regional ambassadors.
Uh, Luis, did you get the question? Yeah, yes, uh, and this is true, like, uh, in terms of
official represented in Nigeria, we don't have, but we have already ambassadors. This is something really good because I want to thank you, all of you guys that already applied.
And this question is specifically for Nigeria, right?
Like, okay, we don't have official representative people in Nigeria, but we have community people that is part of this.
Like, for example, I can mention web3 descendant we have
been talking with him also other people in here in the call and just stay tuned
because I'm pretty sure that we can organize something online offline with
you guys I don't see here for example example, Debo, but Debo was the first person that sent us a DM.
It was like, hey, I am from Nigeria.
I can connect with some community.
Do you want to start this conversation with them?
And it's always, I guess, we are really open to listen.
to to listen like what do you have in mind and it depends on the uh plans and the structure that we
Like, what do you have in mind?
can organize anything but yes absolutely we hope that uh barra squad will grow in uh nigeria in
africa in general and i think that so far you are doing a really good job, guys, because you are
participating in better AI bot strategy and X. You are participating in technical workshops. So
yeah, let's see how can we grow together. And thank you. And Claire, I want to also thank
And Claire, I want to also thank all the people here.
I guess we are like 30, 35, but I want to say thank you, Bikens.
Thank you, Web3D Sentence.
Thank you, Silver.
Thank you, Henry.
Thank you, Shao Sha.
Claire, of course, always thank you for being a great host.
Prashant, thank you so much.
Hang Biao, Oldking, Lucas Diego,
Gaia EcoTrack is a really nice project in Vara. Thank you for being
always in the events. You are a really great
ambassador, Gaia, as a project. Also
your CEO, Elis, is an incredible person. Javi, thank you
so much. And Spain, Vishish, is an incredible person. Javi, thank you so much. And Spain.
Vishal, of course.
Thank you so much.
Kajuban, Oscar, Oscar Uriel, DefiGate, Kane, Hemima, Rikoso, Reddrick, Godsilk,
Red Deadrick, Godsilk, Hesysvan, Yaori, Sist, Yarani, thank you so much, Alchemist, Alex, Kingdus, Armitz, Wisp, Anurak, Omar, and all the new members. members one by one it's really important all of you are really incredible because being part of
this call some of you are ambassadors some of you are active members thank you so much because
because of you VAR squad is what it is incredible community thank you all right so we have more questions. So let's add Ziest as a speaker and let's let him ask questions.
It's connecting.
And yeah, hi, can you hear us?
Ziest, you should be able to speak.
Hi, hi, GM, GM.
So my question was that I've been in Vara for quite some time.
I've been into Telegram chat.
I've been active.
And yeah, so I've been active and I wanted to become an ambassador for that as well.
But since now you've mentioned a new program which has categories,
which subdivides everything in a particular manner,
I wanted to ask that if whether, let's say, if I as an ambassador want to write technical content as well,
but also want to host events in Nagpur, where like in my area or my region. Can I do that as well?
Yeah, absolutely.
Organizing events, you mean like
offline meetups and this kind of events, right?
Yeah, we have some guidelines.
First, you need to become an ambassador.
This is important because if you want to participate in even organizing and teaching about VARA,
it's important you understand what VARA is and what can we share in this kind of events
that absolutely we're open to start this conversation.
So if you are already an ambassador ambassador you send us a DM and well
send the message in the ambassador group so we can start this conversation if
you're not ambassador oh no yeah you're already in what's all right I can see
your no you're not you're not ambassador yet no no okay okay then apply this is
important yeah if you are you well you said that you are here since like months ago, learning and participating as community.
That's really good. Then you understand the way that VARA Squad is growing.
Apply to the Ambassador Program in the vara.network.com or you can just search in the website.network.com slash ambassador, or you can just search in the website.
Already updated.
Ah, perfect.
Then just wait.
We check all the applicants in the week,
and we just provide feedback whether you are okay or not.
Just also send us a DM.
Like, for example, maybe we were wrong in your participation.
Like, for example, we checked your profile
and we said, oh, we don't know about this guy,
but you are here saying I want to participate.
So send us a DM and we can talk about this
and we can check the progress of your ambassador participation.
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you so much.
So we have another question from Gazel Krok.
I'm going to add him also as a speaker.
It's connecting.
And, yeah, hi, can you hear us? Do you have some questions for us?
Yeah, can I speak?
Yes. Okay. Firstly, my name is Godspard.
I've been part of the VAR ecosystem from the onset.
I've been an ambassador for almost a year plus now.
And I'm one of the happiest person at this point in time
because there's kind of restructuring going.
Because though the program was functioning, but it wasn't as effective as it was initially when we started it.
Because I was among the first ambassadors that started the program.
And basically, I wanted to ask certain questions.
First of all, what is the structuring all about?
First of all, what is the restructuring all about?
Because I knew before now, there's a portal we submitted our work
where tax were dispersed to individual ambassadors
to complete its tax.
And secondly, I want to know how the structure would be like,
what are we doing?
Because the last time I was part of it. I also stood as a business developer.
I brought some projects for partnership
that wasn't really accepted into the ecosystem, though.
But some of us have not been recognized
as part of the ambassador crew for a while.
Even sometimes when I asked people, even before Claire came here, there was another, some of us were have not been recognized as part of the the ambassador crew for a while even sometimes
when i asked myself even before claire came here there was another i've forgotten the name of the
person who was coordinating us um she left she left after claire came in um so first of all the
question is that what is the structure first of all how is it being allocated then what is the
reward structure secondly then what is the basis of promotion if you're having this tier system?
What is the basis of promotion?
How do we get promoted?
And who are the people who will be evaluating the system as we progress?
Those are my questions.
Hey, yeah, I want to share my feedback about this.
First, thank you for being part of this since the beginning.
And you're right, like we have changed some rules through the time.
Different people have been part of this strategy through the time.
Also different ambassadors.
Then we are learning together what is the best way to go and
how can we improve this is something important and the reason why we are
changing some guidelines or some tasks in this new ambassador strategy about
like a structure is you can be part of the ambassador program starting as an ambassador.
We check that you understand what it is.
You send a video in the form that you need to fill.
And if everything makes sense and we have a wait,
then you are part of the new ambassador strategy.
And you can change your level according to your participation,
according to the task that you achieve in the platform.
The new platform also has improved.
It's really easy now compared with other versions.
And, yeah, this is the best way to move into the different level
and you open new opportunities. There are different people
internally in the foundation that evaluate the progress of ambassadors. First, you should have
an ambassador lead. It's an official person in the foundation that's work with ambassadors in different parts of the world.
For example, we have one in Latam that is Karen. We have also Karen is in charge of Africa now.
And we have in Asia, we have Aditya and India and we have in
India and we have in China, we have working together and Claire is in charge of Europe.
So we're working together in different areas.
And if you want to talk with somebody in terms of your progress. The people I just mentioned is a good starting
and also the official ambassador group
where all the people around in the foundation,
in the community, ambassadors were there.
And you can ask or propose whatever you want.
It was all.
I'm not quite sure the last question.
Luis, I know you very well.
I've had several contacts with you.
What I'm asking in essence is that the last question is,
okay, i have been
like i said i have been from the onset of vara i did almost everything as an ambassador i started
with vara i started with that's the truth about it so basically what i'm trying to know is that
what about old ambassadors those of us who have been there for a very long time before um new ones
came what are we going to be up to right now because the portal is already closed and i personally have been working even even till before they close the portal i've been doing
most of the um uh most of the tasks i did all my tasks basically the ones i could do i did them
up to the end before the program was actually shut down for restructuring so i want you to know
what is it in what in current ambassadors the moment? What are the impacts?
Because they cannot just join some of us who are there already with new ambassadors.
For me personally, it's not fair because personally, I have been working since Envara started.
And I don't know how the structuring looks like for old ambassadors who have already been doing something for the project.
So these are the things I want to know.
Okay. Yeah, got it. Thanks for this. All ambassadors or the ambassadors that started
with this program since like years ago, you can participate in all the new strategy. In terms like
if you want to do something special because you have experience, I guess that maybe we need to start a conversation about this and we can
analyze how can we grow together in a different way. And it's the same for the old ambassadors.
If you are here in this call, if you're listening to this conversation after, then if you believe
that you can help in a different way, you can send me a DM and that's okay.
If you are already in the ambassador group, please send me a DM.
Let's start a conversation and let's figure out together the best way to grow.
And thank you for being part of this strategy since the beginning.
Thank you very much, Luis.
All right. So we are almost for one hour here. So I guess we're going to wrap up the space. But before we're going to do that, we just have one more question under the comments,
which is actually two questions. One, which is, is there a structured reward pool for ambassadors and the second one uh if ambassador
decides to organize um offline workshop will will it be supported or will this uh be created by the
person alone so i think regarding um the structured reward pool uh so the program is based on bounty system.
Unfortunately, we will not be sharing more details publicly
regarding this as it is internal.
And you're going to get this information once you are approved.
And regarding the workshops, it's what Luis mentioned you need to get
some education some knowledge before we would let you host some in-person event
because you need to be educated for that but obviously we are very open to
listen to any ideas and to talk about this and help you in the best way as we can.
Luis, would you want to also add anything to these two questions?
We cannot share, like, public, like, rewards with ambassadors.
You can ask to another ambassador if you know some,
but it's important like you can check different strategies
like the public ones when we share rewards,
for example, Bar.ai bot is a Telegram bot
that we have for the community in Telegram.
And the rewards are public,
like you can have 20, 30, usd per week and you can participate there
and just imagine like uh check the different public strategies and and now imagine like for
example based on this you can say okay uh barra um barra squad is growing together and I'm pretty sure that it's rewarded.
Public strategies are rewarded.
And yeah, we have an internal structure based on the rewards for ambassadors,
but it depends on the skills, it depends on the task, it depends on the quality.
But for sure, you can access to this.
But just keep in mind the first thing that we already shared.
If you are worried because of the rewards first,
instead of what is VARA, what VARA community is doing globally,
the values.
I recommend first to understand this.
And after, if you like it,
and if you become ambassador,
I'm pretty sure that you can participate
in the different tasks and the budget related,
it will be okay.
Because we have like iterated in the past about this how can we improve how can we
uh give a better reward for the community so yes
beautiful louis uh thanks for your comments i see also vishal wants to ask some question okay guys
but this is the last question as the space is almost one hour so let's add him to the stage and
let's hear what he would like to ask us and thanks all of you for all the questions it's great hi vishal
me here i just wanted to share my ambassador ambassador journey
so uh louis and xavier i know they they took my interview and this is how i
started and after you know being a ambassador
just gave uh multiples uh multiple workshops in my region and Chennai.
And also at the same time, I learned a lot.
Vara ecosystem gave a platform to me to show my skills and to give a chance to let the people know about how web3 works and how the VARA
ecosystem works and how it becomes very unique in the race of other elements.
So whenever I visit any or attend any meetups, people just told me that he is the VARA guy,
whatever you want to know about VARA, just ask him,
he will tell you. So it gives me sense of pride being a VARA ambassador and just I am
very happy that Prashant over here and Zeesh also here, I told them about the VARA and they
are here and contributing in the VARA ecosystem. It drives me a lot to work into the
ecosystem and into the web3. So thank you so much VARA to give me a platform and the image in the
web3. Thank you so much Luis. Wow, I guess that this is the kind of comments that when we hear this, it feels like we are doing something good for the community.
And we want to hear more and more like this.
Thank you so much.
Always for your support.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, your energy.
It's really important for us.
And that's what it means, the ambassador program.
I think we couldn't have a better ending, actually, Vishal.
You just gave the cherry on the top.
So thanks a lot for sharing this with everyone here today.
So I think we covered quite a lot today.
Thanks a lot, all of you who joined.
As we mentioned, if you are interested in the
program, don't hesitate to join
Discord, Telegram, ask
any question. We are here to
help you. I would like to also
thank to Aditya who
stepped in today
for the first part and then thanks
to Luis for joining as well.
And thanks everyone.
And Luis, if you have any last comments, please, please do now.
To be honest, I just want to thank all of you guys.
It's always, I try to say thank you.
Your time, your participation, your knowledge.
Without you, this is something different.
So VARA is powerful, not only in the technology check,
if you have some questions or ask to the people in the Telegram group about technology, if it's not pretty clear, but guys, the technology is really incredible. But the community too.
So thank you so much, all of you, for spending your time here with us,
learning what you can do in order to participate.
And if you want to have an offline, online event in your community,
and you understand what is VARA,
please apply to the Ambassador Program,
and we can check what are the opportunities here.
But thank you just to be here in this space.
It's a lot for us, for the community.
So thank you, thank you, thank you.
Yes. Thanks everyone. Thanks Luis.
And hopefully see you all at some future
X-Space or in the community. Thanks everyone and bye!
