Everyone's busy, so we'll try to make this as quick as possible.
Here's the point of the space.
There's 100 million cool token.
I want people to come up and pitch somebody awesome to send 10 million cool to.
We want to do 10 million times 10.
This isn't a come up and ask for it yourself.
This is a come up and tell me about somebody else who's cool.
Not your sister, not a guy who looks like you but is wearing
sunglasses and a mustache, but a friend. Because I think that the Internet is a place where
you should reward other people doing cool things.
This voice is coming from the cool account. It also is the voice of Board Elon Musk who
is co-hosting. So now I have three
identities. We're going to get into it. Definitely come up on stage, request, raise your hand,
don't be shy. Part of being cool is sometimes being an extrovert, which is something I work
on very often. But before we get into that, let's talk about a pretty fun week.
Cool is a token that was launched with Bankerba,
which is a really fun,
let's just call it an application layer on top of X and Farcaster.
I've been having way too much fun with it.
If you've been in my replies,
you've been seeing that I've been sending a bunch of
this token out to all corners of the Internet.
The origin story is I was just starting to learn about BankerBot.
Someone, I don't even remember who,
just said like, hey, why don't you drop a cool token?
I said to BankerBot,
drop a cool token and it did it and the rest is history.
So it's been fun. What a wild few days. You got celebrities posting about their wallets
holding cool token. Like 100,000 individual wallets or something held it. So definitely has been
wallets or something held it.
So definitely has been a firestorm.
And I think landed on a pretty good word.
Cool is a very mimetic term.
So it's been fun.
And I think the biggest thing I wanna say
is shout out to the banker team.
I've been watching and even playing
in the space of like microtransactions,
tipping online transactions for a very long time.
A lot of people have not been able to get it right because the interface for being able
to send money and transact online has always involved way too many steps.
The way that the banker team has just basically made the user experience of
banker like sending messages is brilliant.
It is a perfect onboarding tool, especially for crypto Twitter.
And yeah, looking forward to seeing kind of what the next evolution of that application is. I am in the sub-1,000 Banker Club,
which sold out pretty quickly apparently.
But yeah, if you've been getting into it,
I definitely recommend subscribing and getting all the extra features
slash increased capacity so that you don't get limited on what you can do.
So today, I posted about it on X,
just kind of the rules of the game.
Pretty easy, it's 100 million cool token.

Then I can easily send money out.

I'm going to try to manage this space and then also send money to
people at the same time and you guys can watch on
Twitter to make sure it's working. As I mentioned, don't try any funny business.
Let's make sure that the token are going to other people.

I'm happy to keep going as long as it takes.
If we run out of people who want to pitch and we don't use the 100 million,

A couple of minutes before this space started,
I actually burned 100 million token just for fun.
Why not? So the 100 million that is still being given away,
in theory, is worth more because there's now fewer of it.
I only took one economics class in college,
but I believe when there's less supply of something,
the demand sometimes goes up.

Fam Keane, he's a freaking builder as well.
He's building some cool stuff, doing it for quite a while. I think he was kind
of building stuff before the meta became the meta. He just wasn't able to get it out there
in the time, whatever it is. But the dude's been building. So I'd recommend those two.

But yeah, just like giving without expectations, best
trade of my life. It has returned a hundredfold in terms of relationships, opportunities,
not to get too personal, but for me, I recently experienced losing my home because of the
wildfires in California. And one of the hardest questions people would ask me
is like, what can I do to help you?
And it's hard, right?
Even if you went through a hard time,
it's like, you don't wanna ask anybody
for something specific.

But like the people who came to me and just volunteer

Thanks for calling me up here. Just to give some context, I've been working on an inheritance protocol
really for the last, it's 2025 now, so I've been trying to figure out what to do with crypto if
something would ever happen to me. Being in this industry for such a long time

Actually, I was going to ask you real quick.
This might be too hard and you can say no,
but a lot of people don't know about
Farcaster and it gets mentioned a lot.
Would you be willing to do like a quick elevator pitch
general idea without getting into?
I guess too much of the technical details of what
that is.

I think I was yeah,
cause Go was the last one who mentioned it,
but actually yeah, I mean whoever with one of you wants to do it go for it.
Go do you want go you can you want you take this man?
All right. I'm not typically good at elevator pitches because I like stories and details, but I'll give a shot. I like I like I like bar caster because it's kind of like it's kind of like Twitter meets Reddit.
I like Farcaster because it's kind of like Twitter meets Reddit, but it's crypto native.
And so it's been a really fun experience to attach my ETH address to what's called my Farcaster ID or
my FID, which has enabled all kinds of really cool, like just social experiments from a crypto standpoint, but
all is all happening in the social feed. A cool feature that they have is what's called frames,
which is kind of like a an in feed almost like web app. And so we're now on like the second
generation of frames, which is enabled really cool things coming out on what like using base season as an as an
example uh brachy is like a sports uh like a sports betting sports app kind of uh like uh app
and uh they have a cool v2 frame out there um clanker, which is like a fun new twist on
on trading and collecting meme coins, but like with this
Pokemon feel to it, like by Matthew Fox, like I'm really
excited as that thing grows too. So there's just really cool
apps and a cool social experience. It does. There are
some things that are, you know, I do have a farcester wish list, but that's
kind of my what I've how I've used it and kind of how I see
it operating. Maybe Emily, you can do a better job and I'll
stop talking. That's great if I had me. I could add maybe just
just add to what you've already said. So I think what you're mentioning of it's like Twitter,
it's a social feed where you can post
and hang out with friends,
but it is very much crypto native,
but a lot of the crypto native stuff
is being abstracted away,
so you don't really realize it as you're using it,
but you're using this technology.
And a perfect example is all the things
that we love right now
that even brought us all here in the space today. So clanker
You know banker which are two separate things that can join forces to keep the story simple. They joined forces they get on Twitter
but those are those are products that you know, we've been using for
Six months or so on Farcaster And then many other things just like that
have been kind of going on there.
So you just see a lot of stuff,
like really neat stuff that's going on.
And I'll just leave it with this in a philosophical way.
I love X, it's a great place
and there's so many great things going on here.
But at the end of the day,
we know with like centralized social media that we're building
our castles on someone else's sand. And at any given point, for whatever reason, those
castles can be washed away. And oftentimes, there's little or no recourse. So the difference
with something like decentralized social is, let's say, Warpcast is the main
app that everyone uses to access Farcaster protocol in a Twitter-like visual on your
screen or on your phone.
Let's say the CEO of Warpcast says, no, I don't like how Emily's been posting or he
might disagree with that take and you know what know what, I'm going to, he's not allowed to,
to post you anymore. Well,
work cast is just a,
is just a client on top of far cast here that people use to post like
Twitter.
And there's several other clients that do the same thing as work cast.
So if the CEO of work has says, you know, Emily, he's been bad.
And I don't like him anymore. He can't,
he's not going to be allowed to post here.
I just pop up my browser or my phone and go to another client, like something
like super cast or there's other clients and be able to access the protocol.
Key point being, uh, I take my followers, you know, with me, where, uh, and my,
my network with me, uh, as I, as I move along in the, uh, across clients.
So that's, uh, that's an interesting, just philosophical point.
And then there's just cool shit going on.
Like we see with Clanker and banker.
Um, that's, that's it.

I think about that a lot, right?

few other stuff has been on there. So I think if it would get on there and make it a lot stronger,

So Aerodrome is the main liquidity hub of base.
And they've met with Coinbase and they, I'm not sure.
They've been around for about like over a year and a half now.
And if you, I believe when you swap in
your wallet like on the on the base wallet the fees that are being collected all the
fees go to all the holders. So they're all about giving back to the community like Uniswap
for example they don't give back all the money goes to the workers and
aerodrome is all about giving back a hundred percent of the protocol of the
fees which are collected through the liquidity pools and swapping all those
fees are distributed weekly which people vote on and you vote on it when you lock
your tokens with them and if you also lock your tokens for four years,
they match you a percentage that can range from anywhere like 30 percent to 70 percent or something.
And it depends on how many people lock per month.
So it's pretty cool. Like I said, 100 percent of the protocol goes to the holders that are locking.
