Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel and welcome back to my channel.
Welcome back to my channel.
Welcome back to my channel.
Hi, everyone.
We'll wait for Bell to join us.
Hey, hey, okay, let's face forward.
Okay, are you here, Bell?
Hi, yes, I'm here.
Can you hear me?
Yes, I can hear you.
Okay, then let's start.
Hi, Cortoshis.
Hi, everyone.
Today, I'm excited to talk a little about one of the recent integrated projects, Zipper.
I'm Victoria, your host and social media contributor at Cordal, joined by Bell, a BD contributor,
who will be the main host for today's AMA.
We're thrilled to have the Zipper team with us to explore it a little bit.
So let's start.
Bell, could you take over?
Hi, everyone.
Hi, Cortoshis.
I hope you're having a good day.
I'll be your host for today.
So first, I would like to ask the Zipper team, can you introduce yourself and Zipper and the team?
Hello, everyone.
Thanks for inviting us.
And I'm so excited to introduce Zipper to Cordal community.
Personally, I'm Ario, a business developer of Zipper, and I'm really glad that I'm here with you today.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to introduce Zipper.
To first introduce our team to you guys, Mako is our CTO.
He has been a tech wizard behind major blockchain projects since 2018.
From decentralized lending platforms to onpay and d4, he's been leading the charge in our tech department with some serious skills.
Nora, a fantastic and strong woman in the web3 space.
She's our head of partnerships, is a networking powerhouse, and she's in partnerships with over 100 web3 clients
and knows pretty much everyone in the crypto scene.
Chris is our product manager.
He has been in the game designing top-notch crypto financial products,
including some of the first linear perpetual contracts for big players like Hubi.
And Kayleen, finally, she's our operations manager.
You know, she's not just any manager.
She's a serial entrepreneur who has rocked the gaming world on BNB, Solana, Town Chain,
and taking projects to the top rankings.
That's about our team, and now let's get to the main team, Zipper itself.
To give you a brief about Zipper, Zipper is a multi-chain gamified trading platform
that bootstraps to trading activities for all kinds of business partners
by providing gamified reviring mechanisms, serving as an ultimate block-to-plane trading infrastructure
with built-in Oracle, cross-chain bridge, trading community,
and, of course, one-fits-all liquidity pool to all public chains.
And the most recent one is Kordao.
We're here to celebrate our partnerships and introduce what we're going to do together.
Thank you so much for the introduction.
Definitely a very high-quality and experienced team that we have here,
and a very diverse team as well with different types of experience.
So, thank you so much for sharing.
So, the next question I have for you is,
could you tell us more about Zipper's utility tokens like Zip?
Yeah, sure.
As you mentioned, utility tokens,
because we will have multiple utility tokens.
One of them is Zip, which is currently live,
and it's at the core of Zipper,
a utility token with a 100 billion supply,
empowering every transaction and interaction.
Beyond transaction utility,
Zip allows traders to use it as collateral,
participate in unique trade-to-mine programs,
and earn through staking.
Zip is not only about trading,
but it enables users to, you know,
share in trading fees, get discounts,
and even launch their projects within the Zipper ecosystem.
With plans to expand its utility across more chains,
the opportunities with Zip, you know, are kind of endless.
And you can stake Zip for rewards or exchange it for Zipper,
which is our governance token,
and that shapes Zipper's future.
So, that's it about Zip.
Thank you for sharing about Zip.
So, the next question that I have is,
what is the Zipper V3 update,
and what are the key features of this update?
Yeah, sure.
It's a most recent update that we're working on in Zip, right, about.
The Zipper V3 update represents a significant step forward for our platform,
set to roll out in the coming months,
around mid to, you know, late May, maybe.
This update is all about enhancing the trading and gaming experience
across various chains,
making it more accessible, seamless, and rewarding for users.
One of the standout features of the Zipper V3 update
is the introduction of a new PVP,
player versus player,
automated market maker mechanism.
This innovative approach allows, you know,
traders and liquidity providers
to interchange their roles effortlessly.
Essentially, traders can now also act as liquidity providers
and vice versa.
By blurring these lines,
we aim to boost liquidity and profitability within our ecosystem,
creating a more dynamic and efficient leading environment.
In addition to the PVP AMM,
that's the AMM mechanism that I mentioned,
the Zipper V3 update brings with, you know,
a range of rewards and incentives
aimed to incentivizing trading activity.
These intensives come in multiple layers,
providing traders with various opportunities
to earn rewards and amplify their profits.
And moreover, our gamified marketing strategies
will play a crucial role in driving user engagement
and increasing the visibility of projects
within our ecosystem,
ultimately fostering growth and vibrancy.
Another key aspect of the Zipper V3 update
is its omni-chain capabilities,
which, you know,
this update users can seamlessly trade
across different chains
without the hassle of navigating
multiple platforms or wallets.
This means that, kind of, you know,
users can access a wider range of assets
and markets,
all within a unified and user-friendly trading environment,
which, you know,
kind of tries to bring a better user experience
and the easier user experience,
as user experience is one of the biggest problems
that we are facing in V3,
comparing to V2.
So we essentially are trying to
make the user experience as easy as possible
to make V2 users
kind of comfortable in V3 as well.
Thank you so much for sharing.
We love that you guys are continuously improving,
and I think the Kotoshis will have something
to look forward in the Zipper V3 update
for a better user experience, as you mentioned.
And also, we love the incorporation of GameFi
because a lot of our communities are gamers as well,
and they love having fun in V3.
I think that's what V3 is about.
So the next question that I have for you is
Zipper allows trading with various cryptocurrencies
as collateral.
How does this benefit traders on your platform?
Yeah, as I mentioned,
not just various cryptocurrencies,
but various blockchains as well,
various chains as well,
almost every chain out there.
So trading different tokens across various chains
on Zipper is like having a universal remote
for all your gadgets.
It makes life a whole lot easier.
I mean, the trading life.
I mean, all of us have had trades on different chains,
and it's just a headache
that you should trade your ERC tokens on Uniswap
and then go to the Radium
and trade Solana meme coins.
With Zipper, you can jump between chains
without the usual hustlers
of switching platforms or wallets.
This means smoother trades,
quicker access to different markets,
and less headache managing multiple setups.
It's all about kind of, you know,
making your trading experience as smooth
and straightforward as possible.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
So when users have to switch between chains,
that can get really troublesome.
And I see that you guys are working on
making this experience much smoother.
I think it will be very beneficial for users
who are coming in from Web2 as well.
Not only Web3 users who are already experienced
in switching between blockchains,
but also Web2 users
who are used to having a smooth experience,
they can continue to have a very smooth experience
with you guys and the features that you have.
So the next question that I have is,
what advantages does Zipper gain
by launching on Core Chain,
and how does it leverage Core's blockchain features?
Great question, honestly.
Launching Zipper on Core Chain is super exciting for us
because it plunges us right into the heart
of the Bitcoin Layer 2 community.
Core Chain, in my opinion,
isn't just any Layer 2,
it's a powerhouse in the Bitcoin EV world.
And by setting up a shop there,
we are tapping into a vibrant,
rapidly growing community
as far as I've, you know, analyzed Core.
So being on Core Chain lists us
right alongside some of the most innovative projects
in the crypto space,
especially those expanding Bitcoin's capabilities
through EVM capability.
And this move is like getting a VIP pass
to collaborate and engage with the, you know,
Core community,
which is a massive win
because these folks are there, you know,
forefront of pushing what Bitcoin tech can do.
So it's a pleasure to be in touch with Katoshis.
Plus, by leveraging, you know,
core features, zipper gaze,
robust security, enhanced scalability,
and super efficient transactions,
all of which are essential
for providing a top-notch trading experience
on our platform.
It's all about building on a solid foundation
that not only supports our current needs,
but also gears us up for future growth.
In a nutshell,
launching on Core Chain is our ticket
to more innovation,
better connectivity,
and stronger presence with, you know,
Bitcoin L2's scene.
We are here to support and grow
with the core community,
bringing our A-game
to the Bitcoin EVM ecosystem.
And I think the top Bitcoin L2
is Core Chain so far.
And we're so happy to build
on top of your, you know,
ecosystem and chain.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Just a little bit of a tidbit.
Core is one of the top L1 blockchains,
Bitcoin-aligned blockchains
with the most DApps.
So we have a very large community.
We love our kotoshis.
And you will realize that
a lot of our kotoshis are very active.
They love giving feedback.
They love helping the platform improve.
They love to communicate.
So it's not like any other community.
It's a community that is like
a brotherhood, almost.
And our technology is also
very aligned with Bitcoin.
We want to be the most
Bitcoin-aligned chain in the market.
Our technology makes the chain
very secure, secured by Bitcoin.
And that actually brings in
even more interest
and brings in more users
in the long run
who are very OG Bitcoin lovers
into the community.
So I think I'm looking forward
to Zipr growing alongside Core
as our community expands
and as more Bitcoin lovers
join Core to become kotoshis.
So yeah, really looking forward to it.
So the next question that I have is
what aspects of this market cycle
have you been particularly bullish about?
Good question.
Everyone has his own opinion
when it comes to what you're bullish on
and what you're bearish on.
But my personal opinion
is that I'm really bullish
about real-world assets,
and chains that are built
on top of Bitcoin's technology.
Bitcoin Layer 1 and Bitcoin Layer 2.
And here is why.
Both are game changers
in how we interact with blockchain tech
and broaden its real-world application.
RWAs bring the tangible world
into the digital space
making stuff like real estate
or gold tradable on blockchain
which is super cool
because it opens up accessibility
and liquidity like never before.
It's all about connecting everyday assets
with the futuristic tech of blockchain
to make investing and trading
more seamless and inclusive.
Inclusive.
Then there's a whole scene
with Bitcoin Layer 1, Layer 2's solutions
like what you guys at Corda
are doing,
seriously impressive stuff.
And this solution,
including yours,
our favorites all
because they're tackling
some of the biggest hurdles
in the crypto world
like scalability
and transaction speeds
with compromising on security
by creating faster
and more efficient systems
and Bitcoin chains
built on top of Bitcoin
are making Bitcoin
even more usable
for everyday transactions.
and I personally,
we're all harvesting
these innovations.
Our platform integrates
with multiple chains
with multiple chains
and as I mentioned,
the last one Corda
including top layers
like, I don't know,
Base, Solana
and other chains.
And this integration
with Corda
means traders on Zipr
can access a diverse range
of assets,
including RWAs
and the latest tokens
that will be listed
on Cordain
and, you know,
be built on Cordain.
And so, yeah,
and Bitcoin chains
are where it's at.
And with Zipr's integration,
the potential for growth
and innovation
just keeps us skyrocketing.
I think that you have
very good thoughts
about this.
it's something
that is very forward-looking,
it's touching assets
in the real world.
And for Bitcoin,
DeFi is definitely
going back to the roots
of crypto itself
because many people
they come to Web3
purely for Bitcoin.
They don't know
about any other thing.
Bitcoin is their
most favorite thing
So we want to,
what we're doing is
we want to
unlock the utility
layer for Bitcoin.
It's more than
a trillion dollars
of market cap
that we can
potentially tap into
by enabling builders
like yourself
to build the apps
the Bitcoin technology.
And this actually,
with Core,
there's very
good transaction speed,
low transaction cost,
and very scalable
to welcome
a vibrant ecosystem
that's building
what is traditionally
digital gold.
So, I mean,
of course,
we are very
optimistic
and we love
the Bitcoin
and that's
what we're
tell the world
about the Bitcoin
since day one.
I love the topic
of real world assets
so that we are,
can have more
and more real world
that come on board
So it's all about
expanding the ecosystem
and allowing users
to have more things
to do in Web3
doesn't only
remain as Web3.
you can come into
the real world
Things you can see,
things you can touch.
So that's pretty awesome.
The next question
that I have
is what are your thoughts
on the Bitcoin
halving event
that recently happened
and its potential
impact on the market?
About Bitcoin halving,
I'm quite bullish on it
to be honest.
They're like the
half-time shows
of the crypto world
always just real.
Every time
having rolls around
it slashes minor rewards
tightening up
Bitcoin supply.
This can lead to
some exciting price surges
if, you know,
demand chips up
for, you know,
Bitcoin chains
like Cordao.
This isn't just
good news,
it's a tailwind
in my opinion.
So as Bitcoin
gets more attention,
so do, you know,
chains like Cordao
will get attention
and potentially
boosting both
their value
and their utility
in the crypto ecosystem.
pretty bullish on it,
especially for the
chains that are built
on top of Bitcoin.
And, yeah,
that's my opinion,
but, you know,
never financial advice.
never financial advice.
Love that.
my personal thoughts
on Bitcoin
halving is that
it actually makes
it more difficult
for miners
Bitcoin rewards
as they mine
and effort
The rewards
that they get,
it gets harder
and harder
as halvings happen.
it rewards
miners for their
helps to supplement
the revenue
of these miners
value to these miners
because they can
delegate their
Bitcoin hash power
to help secure
the consensus
and in return
for participating
in the security
of the Core
consensus,
they get Core
and when they get
these Core rewards,
they can use it
in different
kind of DApps
like use it
on Zeeper,
they can use it
various ways
so that kind of
helps recycle
the effort
and the Bitcoin
miners' efforts
are not just
a one-time effort.
With Core,
they get the rewards
and they can use
the rewards
and they can
participate
in the ecosystem
so it's much
more meaningful
and bringing
value to both
not just the miners
but the users
the Bitcoin halving
something very
meaningful
to bring more
awareness to
Core and the
and the value
that it can
So the next
question that I
upcoming features
that you want
to talk about
or enhancements
Kotoshis can
look forward
in Zeeper?
As we talked
version 3,
there are lots
lots of new
features by that
it's just around
the corner
as I mentioned
it's going to
and besides
the benefits
that I mentioned
in responding
to that question
related to our
version 3 update
indeed alongside
the product update
we're excited
to announce
a series of
additional benefits
for our users
we have partnered
with reputable
different chains
as I mentioned
to enhance
the overall
trading experience
on our platform
for Zeep holders
the Zeeper
presents exciting
opportunities
for staking
by staking
their Zeep tokens
earn a share
of protocol
trading fees
across all
partner pools
this provides
with a passive
income stream
and aligns
their interests
with the success
of our ecosystem
liquidity providers
tend to benefit
significantly
from the Zeeper
they can now
share in 80%
of transaction fees
on the platform
effectively
their incentives
and maximizing
their earning
the Zeeper
version 3 update
represents
the significant
leap forward
in our mission
a more inclusive
and rewarding
trading experience
we invite users
to join us
on this journey
as we continue
to push the boundaries
of decentralized
let's go guys
let's go folks
let's do it together
and I'm really
excited for it
about sharing
about the partnerships
and the updates
so I'm gonna
throw in a fun
kind of fun
question here
in terms of
partnership
if you can choose
any partner
in the world
it can be a brand
it can be a platform
it can be an organization
what partnership
would you form
if you could choose
anything in the world
good question
I'll do a partnership
with reputable projects
projects that
I'm sure about
their future
I'm sure about
their plans
and I know
that they have
a solid team
most of our projects
can grow together
I'm not a fan
of getting advantage
and projects
but growing together
that's the way
to organize
the best partnerships
that you can
and you know
the crypto space
and blockchain space
especially
is still so early
and so small
to compete
at the moment
so I'm even okay
partnership
with some of
the competitors
same products
to help each other's growth
because all that matters
at the moment
is bringing
the first billion users
and I think
is just a game
and we should all
help each other
to reach this goal
which is a major goal
as you know
Web3 people
and blockchain believer people
yeah awesome
I like the idea
of working with
even competitors
in the space
because right now
it's important
to work all
as one team
to bring as many people
over to Web3
and it's not really
about the competition
or all that
even competition
in some sense
in the sense
that technology
keeps growing
and we keep
helping each other
have a better
technology
and better understanding
and growing
the community
and our community
I'm pretty sure
they would love
to see more
types of collaborations
and more types
of partnership
because that's how
an ecosystem grows
it doesn't grow
it grows with
different partners
I think partnerships
are extremely important
regardless of
how you form them
so my next question
how can the core
chain community
our Kotoshis
get involved
with Zipper
and the second part
is how does
user feedback
your development
we're here to
introduce Zipper
to Kotoshis
I'm really glad
to answer this question
