And most of the other stuff I'm holding is going to follow Bitcoin regardless. So until markets start really ripping and if they don't rip, like if this cycle is different
than once the general economy and stuff gets better, then these things will all go up.
So I've been in it for a while.
I've gone through the ups and downs.
And if you're day trading, then times like this
might not be so great unless you get some big wicks
or volatility.
But otherwise, it's just another day.
I work in the space.
I love hearing all the new tech and new ideas coming out
and meeting such amazing people from around the world
that in the long run, I know my investments will be good,
but on the day to day, I'm not so concerned.
Unless we get a really good opportunity to DCA,
then I top some bags.

I mean, from where it was a year ago.

and things recovered pretty quickly.

So I wasn't worried about that.

holdings, put it in a cold wallet, and I'm just waiting

always said before, you have to face these investments without
emotion, you have to have, you know, ice water running in your
veins, you can't worry about if it goes up today or if it goes down tomorrow.
You just have to stay true and hold on and eventually your investments will generate
the profit that you're looking for.

What's it what's been happening with you? Do you remember the first NFT or token you bought and

when I first got into this, you know how like I had no idea what I was doing and I, you know,
made the Stoney's collection and you know, it was all messed up. And I had a couple NFTs
gifted to me, but I think honestly the first NFT that I like bought was a Doodlegenics.
What? Did you know? I was like, I was learning how it all worked and I was realizing that they were like business
cards in a sense.
That's kind of how I saw them from the early standpoint is like they were like business
cards and like ways to engage with the community and you know, being a businessman, I've never
been like a freeloader or somebody that just wants things for free.
I understand like, hey, if this is how it needs to be done,
this is the process, let's do it.
And I was always listening in your spaces
and I was like, well damn, that was like back when like
everybody in the space had a doodle,
you know what I'm saying?
And I'm like, damn, I think I need to get one of these.
And I bought that pirate doodle that's on my personal
account as my profile picture
I'm pretty sure it's the first ever NFT that I personally bought

I've bought in a few that I've given other people as well.

For myself, I was listening to spaces for a lot.
I was like one of those timid listeners,
like those bottom feeders at the bottom of the room

Then I met a few different artists from some communities
and I started listening to some of the alpha spaces
on tokens, on mints, on drops.
And I started getting confident and started going up there.
And then unfortunately, you know,
investing into so many projects, trying to diversify,
I ended up getting robbed a whole bunch of times
and it wasn't fun.
I lost a lot of liquidity.
And I said said we need an
investment vehicle as a community. You know, people that are going to be here long term.
I founded the Doodlingenics on Solana. They did extremely well and we just continue expanding
from there. So I'm happy that you got in early with us. I still believe it's super early.
We got some really big plans for this year for Doodle Gen X as a community I have some big plans for myself this year as well, too
But we've grown a lot every single year we grow over 20,000 people we go 20 to 25,000 people this year

Yes, there's actually a bunch on Epic.
I know that sounds crazy, but Epic has been super helpful with getting some,
let's say, non-traditional games off the ground. Kind of like how Steam has done it in the past,
but now there's like Shatterline, which is a pretty good first-person shooter. Yes,
it technically is part of the whole entire crypto side of things, but you wouldn't actually recognize
that just from playing the game off of the epic site

And I knew that in order to know and gain more knowledge was to actually jump in and
just buy one.
So it was sort of a boring thing.
I wasn't in a community.
I wasn't trying to join some group or anything.
I just wanted to get the mechanics of it.
And so I went on OpenSea and I was just looking around and I wanted to find something Phoenix-
You bought what you liked.
Yeah.
I wanted to find something Phoenix inspired.
So I found this sort of abstract, colorful Phoenix NFT.
And it was very cheap.
It was maybe only two or three dollars, but at the time gas was just super high.
So I ended up, even though the NFT was only like two or three dollars, I think I ended
up spending like $50 on the NFT because I didn't think about, well, maybe waiting until
gas went down or something.
So I just bought it just to just go through the process of, you know, buying an NFT.
And then I just continued to learn more about it.
And so that was just my first experience.
And then when I tried to join a community, this was pre-Doodle Jenna's community.
So I was super green and, you know, I just joined this community called the Tokyo Apes.
And I thought, you know, they were reimagining.
Tokyo Apes, I remember that.
I thought they were going to reimining. Tokyo Apes, I remember that. I thought they were gonna re-imagine Apes
and the art was so cool.
The art was so clean.
I thought, oh wow, this is so great.
And so, but it ended up being a rug.
But I only invested what I could afford to lose.
So that was fine too.
It was a learning experience.
But yeah, it was just, I didn't know as much as I know now. I hadn't met you. I wasn't in Alpha Group. So I was
just sort of navigating a little, you know, admittedly navigating a little blindly just
trying to learn the landscape. But what I kept in mind was not throwing in all of my
money, not throwing in all of my savings and things like that.
So that's what protected me and showed that me
is just never investing what I could afford to lose
as I was navigating this new landscape and experimenting.
So that's what I did.
But luckily early on I found the Doodlegenics community.
So it's been wonderful ever since.

We had our first one January 30th.
We're hosting another one coming up April 11th

We're working with Kansas City Mayor
to get out in Kansas City, Missouri
between now and NFT NYC.
