in a couple modes one is like the 2x full g where you only leave a mean back moon peg you don't
really care what happens and you move on another one is you know you have all these call channels that are literally using people as as excellent liquidity so everybody's
overly paranoid overly you know anxious you got a little schizo mindset where you know you can't
trust anybody and that's no way to build a portfolio that's no way to to build in any
possible way so you get a lot of people that are in their last couple
hundred dollars, you know, that do go on the internet, that don't know what they're doing,
that jump into a call channel or jump into a chat and they think these people are going to help them
and then they get wrecked. I think every single one of us has probably gotten a message on TG or
Twitter being like, hey, I got a CA for you super early, jump in. And then if you watch the chart, it goes up 2% and then it dumps 100.
So Solana is a broken ecosystem just because anybody that was ported in
with the Hot Alethos has been wrecked so many times that they just don't believe in it
or they don't think Solana has the ability to actually embrace it.
Obviously, we've seen with it obviously we've seen with
house we've seen with troll you know these recent runners where you know a decent amount of good
people got supply they're holding and and we know liquidity pools are thin so you know most of that
just has to be held and then those people know it but most people don't understand tokenomics
most people don't want to play nice in this space or see longevity.
And yeah, until they start doing it, you're going to, you're going to see the same stuff. Obviously the past two weeks has kind of taught people how they should hold or be able to hold
for under a month. Like if you held house for, for a month, you're fine. If you held troll for
a week or two, you're fine. Like there there are certain things that that have to build that
you know mindset of longevity obviously bonked it last year on on solana you know pepe bobo
bobo billions like there there are certain plays where eventually people are rewarded and sometimes
it takes weeks years and and you just got to play the game and if you are over leveraged if you don't
know what you're doing if you don't have people that you can trust in this space yeah it gets a lot more difficult and uh you don't really
understand how to navigate and we lose good people we go we lose a lot of good people with a lot of
potential to help projects to build projects and we lose them because they get wrecked they get
wrecked by shitty people by shitty charts by launch pads that just pump out vaporware every single second
of the day. But I think to David's point, ETH is going to be a great place for people to vault,
to know that their whole things are safe. And then Solana is going to be that rotation casino.
I think once we see wormholes, once we see layer twos accepting a lot of things from Solana,
you're going to see a lot of people that utilize those and save their funds while Solana does whatever it's going to do.
My kind of idea for ETH is I like to compare it to Silver, but I like to say like a Silver Standard type system where the transactional system is on ETH through Layer 2s and and e's kind of that silver that backs the system
like a silver standard that's kind of where i how i see e's playing out um which like aligns with
like my theory that then eventually like new launches and shit will go to layer twos and
another change if if they if they do choose to go to other chains or it'll just be layer twos maybe
but i think that stable coins real world assets
all that type of shit the the the og memes that made it on eth will be super valuable and then
transactional transactional uh shit will be on layer twos and the the thing backing all that
will be ethereum and the store of value that is ethereum what do you guys think about that
yeah ethereum is necessary to be a store of value like it's
shown longevity and the ability to do so so well look i i obviously have a little bit of a different
take as a person who is a bitcoiner first um when i'm looking at the rotation, I'm rotating, you know, if I'm rotating to Ethereum, it's because I'm trying to
offer it. Right. And there's ways to do that through all the other platforms as well. It's
just easier. And there's, there's also, you know, if there's only USDT and USDC available,
then I'm going to take the Ethereum route and I'm going to make sure that i'm earning on staples and that is where a lot of the extraction route comes from right everybody
bridges into the casino and then bridges back out this is where i i just look i i like um I like the layer twos that are being built on ETH.
I'm not a fan of layer one.
And I like the DeFi ecosystems,
obviously that are well-established on Ethereum for layer one, but there's even more attractive ones on layer two.
And believe it or not,
there's really attractive DeFi on Solana that no one freaking uses.
And it's becomes just a game of rotation.
And now that there is competition that is upticking from the Bitcoin side of things in terms of DeFi,
you've got competitors to Ethereum and Solana that are rising very, very quickly,
like Sui and a bunch of others.
Just going off the top of my head here.
And I think that a lot of people, when going to Solana and going to the casino,
there was a time period where you can hold.
This was one of those time periods where you could get into a ticker and hold.
But as volume starts to come in, more tickers are being launched.
There's more emotional kind of rotation going on from volume starts to come in, more tickers are being launched. There's more emotional
kind of rotation going on from ticker to ticker, and it's launched to nuke much faster. And it
starts to get faster and faster and faster until it all blows up and then only the strong survive.
And that will only be a few. So I don't think that anybody knows or can predict exactly where the liquidity will flow after that occurs again.
But we do know 100% that Solana Casino is open for business and it's going to rip.
Now, where that goes from there, it's going to be all over the place, right?
Because there's tons of different options.
You've got Ethereum.
You've got Bitcoin DeFi starting to rise.
You've got SWE.
You've got what else is hot right now, right?
Like, and I'm just talking from tech and I'm trying to be objective here.
But like, there's plenty of other places for people to extract from and to.
And what I really want to hear is, what is the argument for people staying on Solana this time
instead of rotating out? Because that's really what I don't see right now. No one talks about
the DeFi ecosystem on Solana.
Everyone only talks about PumpFun and now the Bonk stuff.
And no one talks about DeFi there, which is why we see so much rotation to Ethereum.
I think Solana dumps to hell with the rest of the market, excluding altcoins with real utility, things like chain link um i think it dumps in
less but the only hope i see for that is like you know the uh u.s national stockpile i think things
would get crazy if uh other nations start making stop stockpiles like that with things like solana
and xrp um but outside of that i don't see see any reason anybody would hold through the bear on Solana. So I agree with you.
Well, I mean, what do you consider a real chain then? Because every chain has the same shit on it. knew that there's pump fund on Sui.
Nobody knew there's literally Bitcoin pump funds.
There's multiple.
There's actually probably more Bitcoin pump funds than there are on some of these other chains.
You've got DeFi ecosystems all over the place.
You've got on-ramping and off-r ramping pretty direct from most chains and most wallets like what you've got nfts you've got memes on every chain like every chain has
everything right so what makes one better than the other is where is the volume right that's that's
why everyone was so enamored with solana and PumpFun because it brought in the
volume. So when it brings in the volume, it's a snowball effect. You're just going to keep getting
more volume until you reach, you know, peak euphoria and then everything slides. So, and I
don't know really anyone that can accurately predict that. I mean, we could predict that
Solana is going to pop because of the memes and the tickers, right? Ethereum is going to pop too,
but maybe not directly because of memes and tickers. And I would argue that it wouldn't
be because of memes and tickers. Probably leaning more on, hey, here's another layer two and here's
more established layer twos. I just don't see it from the layer one side of things outside of you know your your staking protocols and your yield protocols
i mean i guess on eth it would be real world assets bitcoin it would be the store of value
of bitcoin i think everything else dumps like it has every other bear market like the with the
four-year cycle um i don't know i mean i think bitcoin is the only one
that's really proven it uh that it has uh strength to hold at a at a more sustainable
level than these other blocks you know these other these other cryptos uh maybe fucking
eth goes to shit too you know um i mean i thought i thought you could be farther along here i thought
