sudden the next day you wake up you're liquidated because that shit drained your entire capital in

What you put down as your margin is your margin.
You put a stop loss, okay, I'm willing to lose maybe $10 on this trade,
and that's about it, okay?
And that stop loss will hit.
There is a slippage, yes, every exchange has slippage.
Every exchange has fees.
So if you take into account fees and slippage,
like, end of the day, if your trade trade doesn't work that slippage doesn't matter like okay if price went one dollar below your trade

30 back okay you might end up doing some silly mistakes that set you back another 20% okay so
risk management is key use a small portion of your account small portion of
your trading portfolio like 1% some recommend you can use 10% that's fine as
well and you can play around with that okay you can lose a 1% you can use 10% that's fine as well and you can play around with that
okay you can lose at 1% you can use 10 trades in a row but on the 11th trade
you can get a hundred percent gain and you'll make all of what you lost in
those 10 trades back in one trade okay that's what risk management is that's

And you have to decide for yourself, like, are you going to use stop losses?
Are you going to make money in doing 1 to 3s, 1 to 5s, 1 to 10s?
You know, if you're only right, say, 20% of the time, you need to be hitting a 1 to 10 on your execution um, execution in order to be profitable because that would give you a two X, right?
That means that you're going to lose five times over, but then on the six,
one you are hitting, you know, 10 times your value.
So you may double your money and like shit like this. Right.
And so like there's streets has got a lot of really good shit there.
And the reality is, is like,
it all just comes down to your flavor of math.
And like, this is the biggest piece that kind of comes up is like for most people in
the crowd that might not understand how risk management works like this is the tea right like
this is how it goes is you got to figure out what's your win ratio and what's your consistency
and yeah like i personally i fucking i'm a bit of a weirdo when it comes to stop losses i hate them
and i think they're very like they're hard to game But like if you know this guy he's saying he's got the fucking sauce
Follow you the risk management and you know if you follow that and you do it like he's mentioning like this is the whole formula of how it comes together

week on leverage trading okay they end up losing their entire account balance um compared to the

have a hundred thousand now the one who sets and sets a goal for himself over a longer period of
time ends up being more successful than the person who's like i'm gonna make a hundred thousand this
week because firstly a hundred thousand depending on how much margin you use unrealistic for the first
week you'd have to take massive amounts of risk almost basically gambling okay you gamble multiple
times a day to get to that level like that's lottery level type shit okay whereas a person
who's like 100k in a year i'm starting with a thousand doable very doable you hit maybe two
percent gain on your account balance every single day okay till the end of
the year I guarantee that's a hundred thousand by the end maybe it may be a
bit more than a hundred thousand and that a year because your goal is two
percent of your account balance every every day now that's not hard that's
very easy okay you do the maths
very easy to hit two percent there's people here they hit that hitting five thousand thousand percent
a hundred percent you have to do two percent a day on your account balance and you're there 100k
end of the year but you know um greed gets in the way sometimes and you know people hit 100x no sorry
100 for the first time and they're like yo i can do it again they try
to do it again end up blowing it so well and that's where leverage comes up too right like
the one thing i even wanted to say regarding leverage it's like you got to know your timelines
like isolate works good if you're going to do high leverage because then you're not risking getting
fucking ruined on every other side of your account right like that that's where you have to do isolate
because if you're going to do like you know 25, 25, 30, the one thing I always like to tell people
when you talk about leverage is like, imagine it like a ruler. Every time you up that number,
you cut the amount that has to go down and have to lose everything, right? 2X, 50%, 3X,
it's 33.3, 4, it's 25, 5, it's now 20. And that's the amount of the asset move. So if you're going
to take 25% leverage, that means you're willing to either bust on 2% or on 2% you've made
a hundred percent back right and like that's the you know the bigger
methodology around it correct yeah and yeah I tell I tell everyone in the

of work through that because if you see like a you know a few million dollar lick happen

with the data is it's all about how you understand them and how you read them because you can see
longs and shorts coming in like you can see okay a hundred million worth of longs came into
this five minute candle and you know next five minutes a 20 million volume
came into this cat in the next candle and you can see that information but if
you don't know what to do based off that information then there's no use so you
kind of have to like research and understand what it means so there's no use so you kind of have to like research and understand what it means so there's certain things you want to look out for when you see multiple candles coming in with
a bunch of longs like hundreds of millions of longs every five couple minutes and and you don't
see the chart moving up where those longs are coming in so what that tells you is that despite all those
longs coming in despite all this volume coming in to push the chart there is bearish divergences
so there's there's people that are essentially holding the price to where it is they're not
letting the price go up and so that signals for a potential short okay so x-ray charts is a very useful tool you want to
use the footprint of on x-ray charts and most people don't use this um stuff because you have
to pay a decent amount not nothing crazy but it's for people starting out it's a decent amount right
so yeah i i do recommend if you do want to get into, like, leverage, like, advanced kind of leverage stuff,
you want to invest money in, you know, different tools that are actually useful.
Not, you know, the free stuff everyone has access to.
You want to use the stuff that's paid.
Well, and, like, this is where I also, like, I'm a fucking Jew.

one of the biggest telltales that I've found,
especially if you have access to the Binance API,
is like the funding rates.
You know, if the funding rate's positive,
that tells you there's a fuckload of people
that are lining up.
You don't even have to see everyone else
because very rarely will you see one exchange
be different than all the other exchanges
and funding rate
because you'd be an idiot, right? Like you'd just be paying people to essentially go against the grain and and
typically you want to be you know in the macro with the funding rate but in the micro against
it before the churn because that's usually how you can see a depreciated um like position is the
funding rate will slowly start turning to the other side or it gets extremely high.
And then you know that it's like, you know, some crazy market maker is going to be like,
fuck this, there's a hundred million longs. I'm just going to nuke this shit just to get people kind of running. Yeah, perfectly said. I think the funding rate is very important.
A lot of people skip out on that. I don't know why, but yeah, funding rate can tell you a lot about market direction not in the short term but more of like
the kind of daily uh idea right so daily absolutely yeah dude there was a secret even
just to touch on that with you um there was a secret that actually used to exist this was like
a 2023 glitch but if you saw a new listed token on binance or if the funding rate ever went over one percent
total what people would do is right before the four hour clock all the people who had like massive
positions would close out the position right before the funding fee came in and you watch it
would just dip a little bit and then it would fucking send because everyone would re-add right
after the fees came out and so yeah i'll let you go it still happens yo it still happens like there's still some people that close out like massive positions just before because they
don't want to take those fees right they just close out and that's an opportunity for you to
you know short term maybe make some money there but you know i don't always go best to that because
sometimes it doesn't happen but sometimes it does does. And, you know, you never, you never know when one of those could actually print,
but yeah,
what you were doing was data manipulation,
right?
Getting stuff off like,
you know,
queen glass and stuff like that.
It's all data manipulation.
You have to understand the data first and then get the data together and then
make something out of it.

know I did this TA look at this you know look at this line i drew and i think this line is going to be enough for this massive
shore this massive long and they end up getting erect um you have to use a bunch of different
things yeah it's so true and like you know here's two things i'd even say on this and like this is
like some like fucking out of this world like fucking
mathematic bullshit but like um and this is honestly why too i don't believe in ta to a
degree and like i'm that's why like i i haven't found confidence in isolated just because of this
like math theory and some people will know about what i'm talking about here which is kind of
interesting and like that's why i'm actually excited to see you guys in the discord and
see how this kind of plays out because i think it might change some fallacies that I've kind of come to adopt.
But talking about that, like, the interesting thing that I found, especially with this, is like, I don't know if you're familiar with, like, the Ichimoku Cloud, for example.
Like, this was an indicator that was built around counting rice.
You know, it's not fucking for charts.
It's not for fucking your, you know, risk rewards or anything. It was actually for counting rice you know it's not fucking for charts it's not for fucking your
you know risk rewards or anything it was actually for counting rice fields and that's also what goes
back to like the doji counter of like the candle identifier blah blah blah and um this is something
that i find a lot of people miss out on and the ichimoku cloud actually kind of talks about this
which is interesting and it's about the reference of like, there are three pillars to trading, truthfully.
You know, it's fundamentals, sentiment, and then technical analysis.
Because fundamentals drive everything.
You know, like Bitcoin, will there only be 21 million?
Like, you know, Solana has X amount of validators.
Like, Ethereum is proof of stake.
You know, these are fundamentals.
These are things that are always going to be true true regardless of what you think or what you say. They will stay as a position that
people will speculate to. Then the sentiment is, well, what is the bias? Which also goes back to
funding rate. Like your funding rate tells you, do people believe in you or do they not believe
in you? Is the differentiation of people have speculated with you or against you? And that's
the number that goes to this kind of understanding.
And then technical analysis should be the last thing you look at.
It's the only thing that can always be manipulated because you can change
sentiment slightly.
You can't like objectively change fundamentals.
And these things should always be your pathway of like, Hey,
do you know what you're trading and why is it valuable?
And how does this come to be the next thing in your decision making tool? Right. And I'm a firm
believer of like fundamentals over everything. And so that's where it's like, I feel like that's
where I've kind of lost myself in like the difference of trades. But like, I love what
you're talking about, because when you start realizing about like, funding rates, you start realizing about sentiment. And when you start looking about because when you start realizing about like funding rates
you start realizing about sentiment and when you start looking at sentiment you start thinking a
little further into this instead of like oh i'm just fucking i'm measuring up my one to six and
this has got to be it like yes these are important things that's the only way you can make money is
knowing how to manage the risk but before you even consider about opening a trade you should have your
whole thought process of why you believe this to be true.

exit out are going to be zero uh zero five two eight and well ten is zero again obviously those
are always going to be the number and the differentiator so talking about like uh when
you're talking about algorithmic trading like algorithms don't read from wick to wick,
it's candle to candle.
So the top or the bottom of a body
is how they will like find their answer.
And if you're ever curious about this,
you can literally take a fib and look at it.
And instead of drawing the typical fib,
which retail will do,
which is like from the top of the wick
to whatever the next resistance is
to get your entry and exit,
look at it from the positioning
of going only body to body.
And in that, you'll find a very interesting thing is that typically it won't be to where
the take profits are.
Like you'll see the Wix will still go a little higher.
The entries will still be a little lower.
But if you look at where the order books are sitting at, which is how much money is being
bitted at certain points, especially talking about like heat maps, you will see fundamentally
you will always have a better way of, let's just say like calling a top or clipping an entry,
knowing that like, if so was to go and actually, I think this is actually a fucking perfect example
right now, because we just had this like giga pump, the top of the candle is 24, 3.99. You know
what I mean? So if you were a smart betting man, you would say hey, it's not gonna go to 24-4
I'd go 24-77 or something like this because the reality is too is the top
Not everyone can exit the top there has to be a buyer for every seller, right?
It's a zero-sum market people know this as they understand how the concept is and so this is the reality
right like you want to start talking like about really meaningful ta
like it's not about running fucking you know a chart it's about actually understanding the the
logic and the math behind it and how do people decide these factors and you know when you're
talking about like i know a hft firm actually that they only have 10 million dollars in treasury
but they trade about 2.6 billion dollars a day worth of trading volume and like you think that there's some guy doing the trades fuck no man it's just all algorithmic
and it's all about like trying to understand the nuances of the tops and the bottoms without having
to actually draw anything and to be capable of you know and i'll be honest my first five years
of trading i'm super fucking guilty of this i'd'd say, oh, I just want to see $250 Sol and I want to exit here. Like fucking, you know, $4,000 Ethereum. But, and I
challenge anyone who wants to look at this, like look at the tops of any asset. And even in like
Forex, you can look at whatever on the dailies there are. They're always cascading by about
anywhere from five to 25 cents of this. And there's a tool called VPVR,
which is volume-based profile ranges. This will show you the amount of money that trades in a
single line, not a candle, but straight across the chart. And the theory is always back to this,
the more money that is traded at a single price of an asset, the less likely of volatility,
because there's more hands
to carry it back and forth, right? People trading back and forth. You know, if it's like the first
time when it breaks out, like we're seeing right now, it's up only because there hasn't been a lot
of hands between 295, which was the last thing with Trump and this, there's only been a very
short amount of time for people to hold this asset and trade it. So the volatility is at the highest
it can possibly be.
But when you're talking about an asset that like when Bitcoin goes back down to 70K and then runs up to 95 and all this shit, like there was many hands, there was years of hands
that have traded this position.
So there's many people that will trade position again to either get out or get in or hold
they've held for four years, whatever.
So like this, I honestly hope people can take as a way to understand.
And, you know,
I share this honestly with just streets cause I,
I know he fucking gets where I'm going with this,
but it's really cool to kind of think about these processes and like how
fundamentally like numbers are the educational factor to the whole,
