I don't know, any general updates you want to share with us, Penguin, today?
I feel like, well, maybe one thing I will say is that we have officially opened up the gates
and taken off the guard of our launch.
When we originally launched on mainnet,
we did have a passcode required to set up a vault.
We did that just for safety's sake to keep things a little slow
as we got the first few vaults up and running.
I need to hop on the page,
but I believe we have 47 different vaults up and running right now,
which is amazing.
We're looking to hit 50 as soon as possible.
And also a little output for anybody that hasn't heard.
There is some additional incentives for the first 50 vaults.
So if we have a couple more slots left before 50, you definitely want to get vaults open
because there's going to be some great incentives around our AZ bots,
which we may or may not talk a little bit more about.
I'm not sure how much Penguin wants to release on that alpha today,
but maybe I'll hand it over to Penguin for any other updates
on how things are going in the ASOS universe.

Absolutely. Now, Jimmy, you know, I've known you in this space for several years. We've
collaborated on several things and it makes sense to me, you know, knowing the ASOS team,
also knowing some of these guys for a long time that you guys are collaborating. So can we talk
about the origin story here? I don't know, Penguin, Josh or Jimmy, you guys want to take this, but what was the initial meeting point?
Like, how did this partnership begin? And yeah, I guess, where'd you guys start?
Rachel, you might not know this, but actually you invited me to an event in LA, that base event, was it? A new day one.

and at that event, I managed
to meet the glorious penguin and
he gave me such an incredible
gift. This medallion,
this Azos medallion
and it was actually

who said, hey, penguins at

if you're in la you gotta meet penguin and i was like i bet and then rachel you invited me to the
event and then so boom that's how that kind of like first kind of came to be i mean i've known
joshua for a while you know at the other eth events but um but but yeah one thing led to another and
i i know civil super bullish on ASOS as well.
And I love this concept to have a stable coin that is only created by backing regenerative
assets.
You know, like we all want the green tokens to grow, you know, and to be able to have
this opportunity to be able to, you know, as collateral grow lateral to you know if you if
when shit hits the fan if you need money you don't necessarily have to sell the tokens
in order to to to get some spending power and i think that's an absolute game changer so i'm just
super grateful that the tree gens is able to participate in that way after uh after we met in LA.

I was actually hoping to get some live technical assistance on the space of opening a vault
because I seem to be having some challenges.
So I don't know if Penguin's up for that or not.

So I have my wallet connected to the ASOS or app.asos.finance.
And I clicked on the people icon and it says new safe.
I'm in the right area.

Okay. So when I click on new safe, I want to open a TGN safe. And this is a slick interface. If you guys haven't played around with
this, it's going to read all your token balance that's relevant to the ASOS ecosystem. So I like
that. Okay. Now I'm going to deposit my TGN. Is that right? Yes, that's correct.
So you'll actually deposit TGN and borrow AZUSD when you open the safe, both actions at once.
Okay, so both actions at once.
So I've deposited 200 TGN.
I'm borrowing 13.33 AZUSD. On the right-hand side, it says input the amount of tokens,
approve the tokens, and I have my token allowance,
and it says approval is already enough,
and it says submit, confirm your deposit.
But the submit button is grayed out,
and there's a little red circle with a line through it over that submit button.
So the minimum amount that we allow for borrowing is actually $20.
Okay. So I have to deposit more. I gotcha.
So if I did like 400 TGN,
which is $40, then I could borrow.
Ah, okay, cool. And then I have to approve it in that submit. Ah. Okay, cool.
And then I have to approve it in that Smith.
Awesome.
So that solves what I was doing wrong.

Shimona, you know, in our inner spaces, a couple of people were asking us just yesterday.
They asked me, you know, how how has TGN been so stable?
How have you been able to actually like over the over months now, we've actually outperformed Bitcoin, Ethereum and Sol Solana, which is kind of mind-blowing to think as an old coin.
And then they're like, how? How?
And the first thing I say is actually, well, you know, we have this incredible partnership with ASOS because our community is so diehard and passionate.
Like our logo is literally tattooed on skin and five people are getting the tattoo.
Like so so so passionate
but um and so obviously like we don't want to sell it we're bullish on the long-term vision of
this and where we're going but uh but if something happens like there is this opportunity here to use
azos as a platform uh which avoids sell pressure so like that's a beautiful thing plus we were able
to even launch an additional liquidity pool by leveraging funds from our treasury.
And that's also a game changer.
So super grateful for this partnership.
I think it's really done wonders for TGN.
And I think it's going to do so much.
Yeah, that's the kind of partnerships.
A hundred percent.
And that's the kind of partnerships we've been really trying to build.
We're seeing that with some of the other partnerships as well, that really there's, you know, all the partnerships, particularly the Penguin and Joshua
have built, they've really been win-win partnerships. You know, yes, we want to get
new partners onto ASOS, but it's also like, how can we help you? Because if we help you win,
then we're going to win and vice versa. So it really is a win-win mentality when it comes to
ASOS. And I really appreciated what you said on the uh on your first comment a little bit earlier just
talking about the idea of of this stable point backed by green assets because personally for
a long time i i believe that uh one of the greatest use cases that we can build and that's
really what is building in crypto is new forms of money that are actually backed by positive impact.
So when you're either utilizing the protocol to access AZUSD
or you're swapping your USDC into AZUSD,
you know that that dollar token, the AZUSD,
actually represents good stuff in them.
And you really can't say that about
almost any other stable point out there. I think about the only other one would be our partner,
Glodal. Outside of that, it's just not a positive impact on the back end. And certainly,
without getting into the US dollar too deeply, we all know the US dollar is not backed by positive impact in the
world. And so being able to generate new forms of value like this is just such a powerful tool.
And I think that's a lot of why I've been excited to join and work with the team. It's just such a,
it really is the future of how we can finance the change we want to.
It makes me happy to know that ASOS is helping to power a project like TreeGens that is really out there making an impact.
And I think this is one of the first really great examples of what's possible with ASOS.
Jamie was just saying his token has outperformed uh some of the top uh coins in our
industry and um i just think that's really impressive and i'm i'm excited to see the
long-term growth of uh tree gens and azos together um i do see some folks that keep up from the on

I always have time to play with my vault, my new vault.
Yeah, so I'm actually, I was happy to see the space today and jump on.
And I'm actually in the platform and kind of exploring what it means to actually like pay back into my vault and like settle with it. And I'm just using the UI and learning.
And so what should I be thinking about or looking for?
about or looking for as i as i like in other words if i borrowed az usd uh and i just like
approved a balance to give back um how do i make sure that it's fulfilled
so when you open as go ahead john
John?
Yeah, so there is the feature in your vault to be able to pay back the AZUSD,
and I'm sure you're seeing that in the drop-down menu.
So you can go to that feature, and you can decide,
hey, I want to pay back the amount of AZUSD towards my vault,
or if you want to go so far as to close it all the way out.
It'll allow you to select how much you would like to pay back into your vault and then you'll submit that
and then after that transaction is processed you should see the the remaining balance in that vault
unless you've actually closed the vault in which case a ball then is going to be at zero. So you should see the borrowed amount decreasing. One thing
to note, which a few people get hung up on is even if you've had the vault open for a
small amount of time, it is accruing a small amount of interest. It's 5% over the year.
And so you will need a little bit more ASUSD than you borrowed to fully close out the fully payment.
So just to note that you can swap
from USDC into ACUSD on Aerodrome.
If you go to our page, there is a spot on our page
that has that pool of information.
So you can just go to that.

to start is like 20. But like my question is, so when you put 20, you're also borrowing 20?
Or? Yeah, so that's my question. Penguin, Josh, you guys want to take this one?
So each one of the positions and saves are over collateralized. So you'll need to stake more than 20 to borrow
20. So in the last example, I think he staked $40 of TGN. I think the smallest amount that you could
stake are with the stable coins because they have higher capital efficiency. So I think the minimum is something like 23 or $24 of USDC or HLSP to borrow $20 of
AZUSD. Okay, perfect. Cause like, this is going to be like, I'm just a beginner. So I want to
start like beginner friendly, you know what I mean? So that would be like the best place to start a vote.
Exactly.
100% and that's partially why we have set that so low is so folks can get in and play around.
We do recognize especially a lot of folks
that are maybe holding some of these tokens
or not maybe DeFi junkies
and are utilizing these lending platforms as much.
So we want to make it as accessible as possible
for folks to get in and learn along
as we all grow together.

Yeah, I'm just checking out the DAP at the moment.
It's really cool.
I had a question in regards to the collateral type.
Do you plan to expand that?
And what is the rationale with the ones already chosen?
Again, full disclosure, I'm just finding out about this
now about you guys, ASOS. So I'm, yeah, still very novel. And yeah.
So each one of the assets has a little info button next to them that you can click to learn
a little bit more about the rationale for why we've selected them, what's backing them,
and the impact that they're making. You can also see the price activity of the chart. So you can
get all the information that you want. And those menus have actually been extended to the 11
languages that we support. So even if you want to learn about it outside of English, you have the tools to learn about why we selected them.

Yeah. And to the question of future assets, we're definitely in talks with several different other green and climate assets that are out there.
in climate assets that are out there, tokenized carbon credits and some of the projects that
we're talking with.
So I think the only one I can think of that I immediately would talk about is Klima DAO,
which is a longstanding project in space, in space, has just relaunched their token.
And so we're waiting for them to finalize that and bring them on the platform.
And then there's a few more in work so i love that well it seems like azos is really just creating a lot of very high value partnerships and collaborations with long-standing
uh individuals and projects in in the regen space so that's awesome to see and you guys since people
are asking questions today since you guys are curious about opening your vault, remember we are doing a giveaway today.

So is it more Liquity tv one i'll just i'll
let you go because i'm still yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna let penguin dive into those specifics but
yeah maker dow is one of the big uh inspirations for the protocol particularly rune i believe it
was uh had a post on the forum several years ago kind of describing describing what we've built with ASOS.
And so we've taken the MakerDAO and forked it along with some other things,
but I'll let Penguin jump in with some more specifics.

So we actually brand ourselves as a third-generation DeFi protocol,
and our first generation was MakerDAO, the second generation being high.
So yeah, we have evolved from that code base. And we're a MakerDAO fork, not a liquidity fork.
So what that essentially means to most people is that the liquidation factor is is different for liquidity the lowest possible
uh collateral ratio is can be liquidated at any time in our platform each person's vaults are
maintained by collateral ratios so as long as your loan is healthy and above the liquidation limits
you will not be liquidated. So it's a little bit
different. And in liquidity, you can set your own rates, but you can be liquidated at any time if
you're the lowest person. So yeah, a little bit of a different mechanic. Yeah. And just a tip for
those that already have a vault, for those of you that are setting one up right now, because I've
seen a couple more, at least one more has popped up maybe that was uh wills when he was setting us up but
um when you're looking at your vault there will be a price for any of the given tokens that would
would be the liquidation price so always do have uh good visibility on on that on the platform
No, I'm a big fan. I just wanted to say, love that because I think CDPs in general are very
underrepresented, especially on base. And I think most people are kind of familiar with like, you
know, when it comes to stable coins, people are familiar with like USDC or USDT, but like we really
don't give enough credit to crypto backed stable coins where you have
you have the underlying collateral being backed by the same fundamentals as like the blockchain
itself like that's actually like i could kind of like know that about this but um but yeah it's
like it's cool it's like it's cool to like hold an asset that's actually stable and then just go
like hey yeah this is actually backed by um not some black box or like you know like hey we have
um you know multiple banks with like various sort of degrees, you know, like, hey, we have, you know, multiple banks
with like various sort of degrees and, you know, you have to kind of trust them and go
