Let me send you a call. Hey!
Yeah, I'm just settling in, making a cup of coffee.
What did you do with the boy
we just went out skateboarding
so I bought him a new skate deck
and went and hit the park
I don't do tricks anymore
but I can still cruise around in the park and do a couple things.
Good. So you can cruise and not fall? That's awesome.
I fell once today, but I did roll out of it.
But that's because I tried to do a trick. I probably shouldn't have tried to do it.
Yeah. But no, my boy's pretty good, so he's got me out there again.
But yeah, I mean, I haven't skated for probably 17 years, so it's a little rough.
I've never tried skateboarding because I'm clumsy, and I would definitely fall.
I still snowboard every year, so it's like, you it's but I mean I could still balance on the board
but yeah it's been a long time since I skated for sure yeah geez I think um I think rollerblading
is probably the extent of anything I've done I tried skiing once it did not go well uh literally
I said I hate this I don't want to do it and then I was skiing and I told AJ like literally someone's
going to ski into me and he's like that's never going to happen and I was like fine so I was skiing and I told AJ, like, literally someone's going to ski into me. And he's like, that's never going to happen.
So I was going back to the lodge and what happened?
Some, yeah, some person came behind me down the hill and slammed right into me.
And my, my fucking, like the, the things, they flew off my feet.
I was like rolling down a hill in snow.
So yeah, it's not really my thing being, having my feet on boards,
rather clip into a bike. But that sounds fun. What is up spice? Spice girl. How you doing girl?
Hey, can you hear me? Yeah, I got you. Um, I fell asleep for like four hours i don't know what happened i came home from work and i
fell asleep so i'm moving my car right now okay so skip me okay i'll come back oh you know just
saying hello we're not doing anything quite yet we're just getting started yes i had a i guess
i guess when you fall asleep like that you know your body's telling you you need it. Absolutely. I have to listen to my body, you know.
But yeah, I just shared the live. So hopefully we have a good crowd tonight.
Yeah, I think it's going to be pretty good.
Yeah, I started writing. I woke up Saturday morning, and I said, you know what,
I was triggered by my own, I was triggered by my own, you know, poetry, that I said, I need to
write some new stuff, so I think, like, maybe once a week, I'll write some stuff, and then
I have some old poetry that I found, that I wrote during, wrote during like quarantine and stuff like that so yeah it's
pretty good well that's awesome I can't wait to hear it what is up Courtney is that you did you your um your handle yeah you confused me i was like wait a second only uh only for a while my uh
my friend passed away in october and uh i do this like every year in memory of her
so once once that date passes i'll probably change it back but oh. Aw, that's very nice. I wrote a poem last weekend and I said, oh, you know, I don't know if this is just a music space or.
I thought if you are doing poetry, I've got one that I wrote about 9-11 last weekend.
I mean, look, the space is primarily very heavy with music and tracks.
But if anyone wants to share some poetry or spoken word, they can.
All right, guys, if you can repost the space for me, that would be great. I'm just sending
out some DMs, trying to get some more people in here.
Jules, I'll tell you what. I was thinking to myself when I went on my ride today, I was like,
you know, I've been pretty good. I'm clipping into the pedals. I haven't fallen off my bike,
right? I'm like pretty proud of myself. And then I get back, I get home, and I'm pulling up to my garage. and I didn't realize that when I was coming back
that my right foot clipped into the pedal. So when I pulled up to my garage and I went to get
off my bike, my foot was stuck and I totally biffed it. I totally biffed it and I fell off
my bike and I was laying in the street, right? And I was like, God, I'm just so, I hope no one
saw me. And I laid there because I was just like incredulous that I had fallen.
And then all of a sudden, like no neighbor saw me.
But then some like food delivery guy goes driving by and he just like looks at me and
I was like, yep, I'm just going to lay here.
I'm just going to lay here.
I have a nice little bruise on my leg, but nothing crazy happened.
Interesting times times guys. My phone is running very slow. Alright well I guess I'm just gonna like run a
track or something so it'll give me some time to send out some DMs to some people I've been taking long. I've been writing songs. I've been feeling gone. I don't know what you want.
You're probably prone to stay all night. I'm probably prone to play alright
I've been in the wrong, I can dig it yeah
I've been in the wrong, feeling in the chairs
She gon' get hers, I'm gon' get mine
We bring the life, she fit her size
Now I gotta yellin', gotta yellin', gotta yellin'
Round two, round two, hey Got it yelling, just like Round to round to it
I said I got it yelling, got it yelling
Got it yelling, just like
At the drum beat I've been on the drink, I've been on the weed, I've been on the plane, I've been on the seas,
you drive the same, same old likes, the same old scene, the same old sights,
I've been on the road, I've been on the train, I've been on the boat, running from the bank,
see the hurricane resist, see you stare, feel your kiss.
Subliminal, criminal, T's, minimal, minimal, minimal, yeah.
Seminal, seminal, D, animal, animal, animal.
Minimum, animals each and every time I go into a garden.
Now I got it yelling, got it yelling, got it yelling,
Yeah, yeah, yeah. yelling, got it yelling,
got it yelling, you're like, oh, round four, round four,
round four, round four, round four, round four, round four,
round four, round four, round four, round four, round four,
round four, round four, round four, round four, round four,
round four, round four, round Oh, round four, round four
Said I got it yelling, got it yelling, got it yelling, she like
Yeah I'm going be your love, I'ma be your love
I don't know what happened to Kara there.
Kara, we lost your sound.
Kara! Fine. Kara we lost your sound Cut up
fine I'll fucking steal it for you since she's but she's it's funny cuz she's
uh I shared one of my favorite playlists with her today and she's playing songs
from the from that playlist we can't hear you, Kara, so I'm going to run another song because, yeah, because
we can't hear you. Oh, we can hear you now. Oh, we got the intro music back. Yeah, I don't
know what happened. You rocked on us there for a minute. We lost that. Yeah, Twitter
crashed on me. I was like, seriously? Seriously? Are you kidding me? Nice music you got going
there. I'm playing songs from, yeah.
I dive deep into your list.
That's one of my favorites.
It's a good four hours of solid tunes.
So I guess I'll just keep running this one real quick.
And hopefully the app does not crash on me again.
We'll be back in a second.
Please share the space. that's We are love, bad blood come and go
And you're still coming home
We rise, we fall I'ma be your love
I'ma be your love I'ma be your love
I'ma be your love I'm a be I'ma be your love
When the crazy world turns to hell on
I'ma be your love I love that song, Jules.
Be Your Love by Bishop Briggs.
That is a good one thank you for
sharing that list with me today I still have another three hours to get through still oh
sorry I missed that and then the person I'm sitting here talking to was like uh she's talking to you uh yeah no you're welcome yeah i thought you'd enjoy that mist actually yeah that's good
that was a good impression i know doesn't he does he does really good impressions of me what's up
wolf hey how are you cara i'm doing good how are you i'm doing well thank you just want to pop in
say hi to you and jules and support the vibe you thank you. Appreciate that. I think we missed you last week. Well, okay.
So I've noticed a trend, which is I have great connection with you.
But in Flaw's room, I always have connection issues.
But last week you missed me because I had an important meeting and it went well in terms
But I don't want to take away from your space.
But that's why I missed you.
You're not taking away from anything.
There's literally no one up here yet.
That's awesome that you had a good meeting.
I don't know what you're doing, but cool.
Jules actually just went skateboarding today with his kid.
So core memories right there.
You just built core memories for your kid.
I do not skateboard. They're talking about you,
Jules. They're talking about you. They're talking to you, Jules. Oh, what's up? Shout
out. We got Jenny and Rue and Porky. What is up, Tech? JP, Jody, Invisible Thoughts.
up tech? JP, Jodi, invisible thoughts. I see. I need glasses. I see. I don't know how to read
your name. B-A-B-A-B-A-22. Welcome. Sorry if I'm butchering your names, guys. And what is up Dan?
Thank you guys for joining. Oh, and we've got Melly. Hello, everyone. Thank you for joining
Drop the Mic. I do this every Thursday night at 8 p.m. EST with Jules, my awesome co-host. I'm talking to you, Jules. I don't know what you're doing. Just drink coffee.
I'm still here. No, I'm still here. I'm still here. I was getting situated. I just got home a few minutes before the space, too.
Gotcha. I'm just funning with you. I was like, if he's not listening, he can go back and listen to the recordings.
I'll just start making fun.
But yeah, thanks for coming in.
And Wolf, I don't understand the connection issues in the comparison between MySpace and FlawedSpace.
But I'm happy you're here. Every time. Yeah. Very strange. So I don't get it.
But I'm happy you're here.
Well, I guess I'll just go ahead and kick us off with a song with my guitar.
Let me see what I got. I want an amp and mic.
I'd love to hear you on an amp and mic. It's a bittersweet
If I need this life Oh, I totally fucked that up.
I haven't played the song in a while.
Yeah, I'm here in my mood.
But I'm a million different people.
Oh, I don't do the next. I can change my mom. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, Danger's here. Hey, Danger.
I'm not as good talking when I'm playing as you are.
Well, I never played, but tonight I'm on my knees, yeah.
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airwaves are clean and there's nobody singing to me now
No change, I can change, I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mood, yeah I'm here in my mood
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next. I can change my mood.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
It's a bittersweet symphony this life
Tryna make and make, tryna find some money till you die
Tryna find some money through your life
No change, I can change, I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mood, yeah I'm here in my mood
And I'm a million different people from one day to the next I can change my mood
only what I've ever been down
I said I'll take you down, only what I've ever been down Thanks guys. Jules, you're slacking on me. Why do you make choose co-hosts?
It's funny because they're in alphabetical order.
So cartoon snoring and cheering are right next to each other.
Yeah, tell us how you really feel, Jules.
As long as I get the bing-bong I don't
oh man phrasing hey Devin hey how's it going it's going good how are you I'm
happy to see you man yeah I know it's been a couple weeks since I've been at
drop the mic you know but I well I don't know I got I'm headed to a space
later yeah exactly that's I don't know. I got, I'm, I'm headed to a space later. Yeah, exactly. That's,
I don't know what it's about. I had to work a lot. And then I, I, you know,
reserve time for a couple of different spaces. Well, one tonight anyways,
but in particular, a couple during the next week, but, and then I was like,
well, as long as I'm practicing and, you know,
working and playing and singing, I may as well, you know know an hour earlier the drop the mic starts so I'll just just
nestle myself right in here and maybe play a song or two
I'm so happy that you did
um jules did you did you want to share
i really just enjoy being a part of and listening because i love the live music but it's like and
maybe i'm like just like weird like i don't know i know i need to get my songs out so it's like
i'm just kind of weird about shit. But I want to play this song.
This is the, I wrote these lyrics.
I wrote these lyrics and I actually talked to Danger
about doing this song before I put it into AI.
But essentially, I made a chord structure, wrote some lyrics.
Anyway, I have the song and maybe I can send it to you after Danger.
I'd still love to hear danger play it on guitar
But what I did was program the chords and shit and then the text here too. So he might be interested in this
It's not a hip-hop song. It's a poem. I wrote and turned into a fucking AI song
And like actually put some time into this so it's got a bit of a little production to it
But anyway danger it'd be really cool to hear you play this one. This is the one you finally get to hear here
What the hell did I do with it?
Yeah, I lost it. I hear angels say they care for me, yet they don't hear me.
And still the devil's always there for me.
I pray for light to guide me through the storm, but none draw near me.
The shadows whisper, keeping me warm.
The heavens promise peace I'll never see.
The words won't steer me.
Will darkness wraps its chains around me?
I scream for mercy but the skies won't bend
The devil laughs my only friend
And I'm tired of fighting battles, I can't win.
Each cup I take just pulls me in.
Caught in the middle, I'm torn apart, you see No tide will fear me
Both angels and devils claim my heart for free
So here I stand with nowhere left to flee
Both sides still smear me
I'll never know which one sets me free
Yeah, I think that would sound lovely coming from Danger, to be honest.
He didn't listen to that.
You said you wrote the lyrics to that one?
You said you wrote the lyrics to that song?
I wrote the lyrics and then I, yeah, I originally, I had talked to Danger about doing it, but
I didn't know, like, how to portray it to him even because I can't, like, I don't. and then I, yeah, originally I had talked to Danger about doing it, but I didn't know like how to portray it to him even
because I can't, like I don't.
Well, that was dope, dude.
I can't ballads sing like that.
So it took me like seven hours.
I can't do the chick part.
You know, it's funny because I didn't actually program
That was just the, the, when I found it,
prompted one that I liked.
it came out it was it was pretty interesting but um yeah the chord structure i was able to program
and then like the way it like builds up from an instrumental into a percussion things like that
like you're kind of able to manipulate but um and then the like yeah i kind of um had the chord
structure like before on core like on a guitar so it's just like capo one and an F
starts in like the F position
bar chord on a capo one but anyway
yeah I'd love to hear you sing it because that was like
that was originally the idea
that I had I know you and I talked about it but
well fucking send it to me dude
yeah then you can learn it
I think that'd be cool that'd be very cool i think that'd be
perfect for you devon i really like that song man it was really well written like great job
really yeah thanks man yeah originally it was just a it was just a poem really it wasn't like
but then then this ai shit came around and i had i had to fucking i had to fuck with it
i had to try like one thing you know
what I mean but anyway anyway I was still yeah I'd still love to hear it come from you so yeah I
should uh send me your email if I send me your email if I don't have it already actually I loved
it I felt like I was listening to a soft rock station with a little bit of Christian I loved it
with a little bit of what like like you like, you know, when you turn on,
like, country Christian music, like, like, that's what I felt like I was listening to.
Well, and if you listen to the lyrics, it's kind of like, it's the battle of the atheist.
I was gonna say, like, it's the battle of, like, you know, good and evil and Jesus. Yeah, yeah,
yeah. Because that's exactly how I felt. But that's a there's a very big market for that music, like Christian music or, yeah.
I don't know if I would call it Christian.
It's more of like, it's a battle of being aware of both sides and like, you know, totally caught between wanting to possibly, whatever. You know, it's open to interpretation. Yeah, I understand, but I'm just saying
it would be super successful
When Danger sings it, he's going to give me interaction.
Yeah, I don't, like, I'm not, honestly.
If anybody knows me, like, I love music,
but I'm not out here to make a market off of anybody.
And, like, I know I want to eventually release,
but that's really not my goal with music.
It never was, but I do appreciate that.
I would honestly just be happy to hear Danger sing it once in a while,
Yeah, I wrote it, but I put it together with AI.
This AI is confusing me, man.
You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
But no, originally I wrote it and I
talked about it a couple of months ago
putting it together with AI. But anyway,
that's enough about that song.
it and I can't wait to hear Devin's
cover of it. So Devin, you have homework.
DM'd you my email there, Jules, so you better send me that so I just DM do my email there tools so you
better you better send me that so I can actually do my homework it's on the way
because yeah that was dope man and I don't know it's it's such a big honor
like for me because I've had a couple different people be like hey I wrote
this song but can you sing it?
And I'm like, I'd love to like, it's, it's, it's a real, it's a real treat for me when
people do that kind of thing.
They're like, hey, I think your voice would actually suit this the best.
And it's like, out of all the people on this huge ass platform, you know, you're like you.
And it's like, thanks, man.
Like, thanks, man. You know? you know you're like you and it's like thanks man like thanks man you know
you've got that angelic voice man um you know like yeah i'd like anybody who's heard you do
hallelujah is amazing but like the christmas tune that you wrote too like what seriously bro
like unreal you're you're an amazing artist, bro.
I don't disagree. I may disagree with you, but I'll fight to the death for your right to disagree.
There's going to be a match in here?
I had three and a half hours of sleep and feel great.
Started munching on some carrots and now he's all fueled up.
Thanks. It's not bad for three hours of sleep in good, man. It's good to see you. Thanks.
Not bad for three hours of sleep in the last 48.
Well, Wolf, real quick, are you looking to share anything?
Like, were you going to do some beatboxing shit or boomboxing or whatever the fuck's called?
I can't remember what the right way to say it is.
Did you actually say boom boxing cara i did
and the boom bops boom boom bop rap boom bop rap and boom box beats i can't keep it
she's like oh you got d batteries in your pocket like always
but you know when you say the wrong thing but then you keep mixing up the wrong thing with the right thing and you think the wrong thing is the right thing
And then you find out it's not fucking right. That's what I keep doing
Why are you talking about my relationships on spaces?
Hey baby, does it smell like chloroform?
Everybody heard that he took the bait
Oh my god he took the bait everybody heard that he took the bait I sure hope so it's funny
I'm not going to do any boom boxing
supportive noises and gestures I got you supportive noise even just yeah my phone keeps
can you make cricket noises with your mouth
that was Jules' mouth what are you talking about wait i'll try i'll
try wait damn that's hard i'm gonna figure that out i'm gonna figure it out give me five minutes
hold on that's pretty good you gotta like whistle and like roll your tongue or something.
It's like, but with like a
You got a lucky girlfriend.
Damn, that's actually really hard.
Kara, what's happening right now?
The Twitter space crashed on me for a second time.
My phone is overheating, so now I have an ice pack on the back of it.
So hopefully, hopefully I can stay in the space.
Don't burn yourself, Kara.
I thought ice packs were for people.
I have a bad battery. I either need to go get a new battery
or get a new phone so when that happens you have to get a new phone yeah i think it's not gonna
charge correctly yeah i mean i know i can replace the battery it's not old i've had this shit for
like a year it's an iphone maybe you have to delete an app that's like running it and burning it.
Oh yeah, because you host like big
spaces once a week, right? So
that could be some pretty serious
wear and tear on the phone. Yeah, you're going to need
three phones. I don't know, AJ does the same thing and he's fine.
Well, you do big spaces like two or three times
a week, right? Because you've got to drop the mic and then you've got
Cardano and... Yeah. She's on fire.
She's on fire out here, yeah. She's on fire.
She's on fire. Oh, she's on fire. Oh my god. I haven't heard you sing that song before that's new for us
I think it's just new for you because you haven't been around
lately until recently right so nice I loved it oh thank you yeah it's like
you haven't heard any of my songs,
so every single song that I do is going to be new for you.
Everyone else has heard this shit.
I know, so I asked if it was new or not,
but like if you played it before.
Hey, and also a quick tip.
When you're not speaking or singing,
drop that thing directly in front of a fan
and put it on full blast.
for like a minute. It works.
Just put it next to your heart, Kara.
I used to put my phone in the freezer for like 30 seconds to a minute
because it used to heat up like that.
Before I got a new phone, obviously.
I will definitely give that a shot.
Maybe I'll put it in the freezer now.
Wolf, what did you say? Did you say put it
inside your heart? I said put it next to your heart.
Put it in the bar fridge. Never mind.
I wish I had a bar fridge.
You don't have a wine chiller?
I don't. I just use my regular refrigerator and then I have a wine rack. But don't have a wine chiller? I don't.
I just use my regular refrigerator, and then I have a wine rack.
But that's one of the goals.
Doesn't every woman have a wine rack?
Do you want to share some poetry or anything?
Did I miss the boom boxing or no?
Are you talking to me or that other guy?
No, we didn't miss any boom boxing.
Oh, no, no, no. I think Wolf's just, I think he's, you're just here to chill today, Wolf.
Yeah, I think he's just here to chill.
I can drop down, though, if you want.
No, no, no, you're fine to chill.
I think she's just curious if and who the next performance was going to happen.
I'll go in a bit, but honestly, I wanted to.
Lots of room though, before I, before I, uh, before I read and stuff like,
you know, I appreciate the space. I just want to create, you know, a strong boundary,
you know, just because like I come up here, like I'm, I'm open, I'm out about my sexuality.
Um, I don't want any, uh, lesbian sex jokes. Like it's not the space for that. That was I think that was in
flawed space. I could take a joke. I could also roast because I'm really funny. But I think it
distracts from like the art and everything. So I just want to create that strong boundary on
on spaces. And, you know, a lot of people they don't like cosign when they when they come up
and might make people feel uncomfortable. There's a lot of people, they don't like cosign when they when they come up and might make people feel uncomfortable.
There's a lot of out artists on here as well.
But, you know, you don't see me talking about like, oh, yeah.
And, you know, listen, 75 to 85 percent of women with penetration, they cannot orgasm.
So their man has to act like a lesbian, you know, to satisfy them.
I'm offended. I'm offended. Yeah. Like, you know, you know, like I'm offended. I'm offended.
You know, like, we could roast jokes all night,
but it's not the place, you know.
But I love you guys, and I appreciate the space.
Yeah, I'll play one real quick too, Kara.
Yeah, I was going was gonna say so Devin
why don't you go ahead and then we'll check in with rabbit it's cool I'm breaking down because everything I ever wanted
I burned myself just to make it all work out
But still she says the same thing ever really
Yeah, she says these conversations are a waste of time, baby
The sex was good somewhere alone
Still I see her inside of my mind
Because she made me feel the way I've never felt before
To make my want for you have to turn into a need
What have you done today? And I didn't tell her to leave
Turning over, I'm relieved and terrified
That she might somehow find a way that gets through my mind So I spend the whole day in this prayer where I lie
Just so I can try and trap that woman to die
But science says that she'll never run as my ride
Because she always returns
Before I need to complete
To make my life Come on please, I answered what it is
To make my love for you, I have to turn into a need
What have you done to me?
Oh my god, Devin, that was fire.
I love that song so much.
Appreciate you coming through.
Great to be here. That was sick.
Even though you put Jules to sleep, you know.
Even though I was screaming at him. He still fell asleep
Well, there was a mid scream I mean I've heard a
Medium scream it was good. Yeah. Yes. That's fair. It was a mid scream. It wasn't
How far away are you two from each other in Canada? Like are you it would take me?
Four days in Canada? Like, are you? It would take me four days, three and a half days. It's probably about 2400 kilometers away. Yeah. Maybe. Yes. Driving. It's it's insane though, because like there's
mountains and valleys and rivers to fjord. It's Canada, you know, you probably have to bring a
canoe and like portage, you know, shoot a buffalo and make a tent.
So is that like a few hours or something?
Is that like a few hours or something?
I don't know what kilometers are.
If I did it in one straight shot, it would probably take me 24 hours to drive there.
It's like a two and a half, three day trip.
Like comfortably, comfortably. You have to set sail got it yeah i worked i worked on a
for example i was in um i was in southern saskatchewan like i was i guess where where
was the closest like muslim oxford area i don't know if you know kind of or oxbow sorry uh i spent
a winter on a rig there and it took me about 18 hours to get there,
and I think Winnipeg would probably be,
Winnipeg area would probably be another, yeah,
another six hours past that, probably.
All right, I know Canada's pretty big.
It's a good haul if you go in straight one goal,
but yeah, to be reasonable,
you'd have to spend a night somewhere, probably.
Gotcha. All right. And we don't you'd have to spend a night somewhere probably. Gotcha.
And we don't drive on American roads either, right?
Our speed limits are less because our roads aren't the same quality.
It's like, hey, how about you do 60 mile an hour here?
Just, you know, for the next 400 miles.
Wow. I've never been to Canada, but I know nothing. I know nothing. 400 miles.
I've never been to Canada, but I know nothing. I know nothing.
I was hoping you guys are closer, because it would be cool if you
be able to... I cannot talk. It would be cool if you
That would be dope. One of these days,
one of these days, there's a bunch of people
on this app I want to meet.
There's probably more of a chance of him visiting
where I am than me visiting where he is, that's more of a chance of him visiting where i am than
me visiting where he is that's for sure it's much nicer where i am i mean actually no like i should
say parts of manitoba and like some of the areas that you're going outside and doing your thing
like i'm sure it's i'm sure it's beautiful in some parts in its way too but like
per capita in the city like winnipeg versus this victoria oh yeah no it's no contest bro yeah i don't like sorry to put your
name no no no the hunting and the fishing is stellar but that's and that's why i'm still here
i'm not here for the city nightlife where are you are you right in the winnipeg area
like i'm close i'm close city at least yeah i'm close to okay yeah yeah like inside 40 minutes
from the city yeah yeah and it's crazy like and it's honestly just like the midwest of canada
like when you get into certain parts it's just like you know it's like it's like stepping into
a time machine because they just like the areas haven't developed as much because oh you go to
the east coast bro holy yeah yeah yeah that's true yes or
even like everybody's a sailor bike yeah yeah listen to that accent or even like the yukon like
the yukon is beautiful but it's like fucking stepping back in time going up there too and
like nobody's got a fucking car made after the 2000s up there like i mean maybe there's a few
but like not really you know what i mean like it's like yeah there's some parts of canada oh but everybody's got a new quad buddy
and a new snow machine yeah like most of the yukon still feels like the 80s up there man it's crazy
i just like listening to the two of you talk with your canadian accents
just a couple of silly goose now carol what's this all about
Well, who is next? Oh, Rabbit. Yeah. I've got a song. I know he's got a song.
Aboot music. We got Rabbit. Aboot that. Yeah, gonna be an easy follow with that. That's our word.
I'm gonna start out with one called Love Grows Wild. It's a song I wrote around 2004 to 2006. Like flowers, love grows wild Nurtures me just like a child
After all, ain't there what love is all about
And she weeping so wasted
She was touched by God and breathed the stage just to tell the world
And I'll hold her when she cries and sing her heartfelt lullabies
Gonna love her all the way until the day I die
Like flowers, love grows wild
Nurtures me just like a child
After all, ain't there what love's all about?
She weeping, so a seed of precious howl indeed.
She was touched by God and brave.
Stay just to tell the world.
I'll hold her when she cries and sing her heartfelt lullabies.
Gonna love her all the way until the day I die.
Like flowers, love grow wild, they're not just like a child.
After all, ain't there old love is all about. You got the double bibbing bong.
I love that song so much.
I'm such a big fan of the way you sang, Rabbit.
Yeah, Jules didn't even fall asleep.
And he sang softer than I did.
No, it was great, Rabbit.
You know, it means a lot coming from you because you're my besties, of course.
You know, I've been awake for exactly 12 minutes
So I'm glad you enjoyed it
Wouldn't that be something if you put yourself to sleep
While you were singing something
That's when the art comes out rabbit
That's when the art comes out
Well you sing well for a half asleep Notleep, not half-asleep person.
Wouldn't want to be anywhere else on a Thursday night.
Thanks for bringing it back.
Guys, you could be anywhere else on a Thursday night, but all of you are here with us for drop the mic with me and
Jules every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST I appreciate all of you guys I see so many

talented individuals and Chris I swear I'm not calling you out girl because I

might not do it care but i'll do it. I'm calling out Chris right now
One time I fell asleep in the middle of night one fucking time
I wasn't even saying it cuz of that because you were hitting the you're hitting the snore
Oh, I thought you were shitting on me because I actually know
Would never I would never shit on you.
I don't know who you think you're talking to right now.
No, she just doesn't forget, Jules.
Like, for Kara, I'm always danger.
I know. I'll never was great so for those of you
who don't know I'll just rehash it so we're in a space together and this girl
went to call out Devin and she said he was like from Italy or something right
so like English second language right yeah yeah
so she had yeah English was definitely her second language but here's the
funny part is that she said Danger Danger Devin and no shit I've known this
guy for a year I did like a quick like look at his his like name and I was like
have I been calling him the wrong name all this time and then I quickly was
Yeah, it was, it was, it was pretty funny.
And like you say, Carol, I don't know.
I know you sure as hell won't, but it was, yeah, it was hilarious because like, she had
like this thick Italian accent.
She's like, so I would like to call out the denger denger Devon
Now I have to open my like dialogue by correcting you and oh no
Actually, right, I think I played a song and then I was like, action is danger afterwards.
You didn't even tell her it was danger.
I was like, oh, thanks for the mic.
Which is very kind of you.
I don't correct people when they say my name wrong either.
How do you say it's Kara or Kara?
It's Kara. Yeah, definitely. It's definitely Kara. If you just go with it. Whatever. How do you say it's Cara or Cara? It's Cara.
If you know her, it's Cara.
You totally just pronounced them both at the same time.
You were like, it's Kiara.
Like, I didn't really fully get which one you were leaning on there
because it was like, Kiara.
No, it was like, Kiara. I'm not I mean? I said Kiara. No, it was like Kiara.
I'm not really sure what you said, but.
This is going on the fucking grievance list.
I have a list in my notes.
I'll share it with you later.
But I wanted to wait for the space so I could continue to add to it.
Well, I guess I'll do something.
I'm so addicted to the loving that you're fitted to me.
Can't do without a difference, got me wick in the knees.
But it's a ritual every time you take it away Can't you hear me calling
Begging you to come out and play
Show me who you are Don't come to me, show me who you are, don't wait to me, like sugar to my heart, oh baby, I'm craving for you, I'm missing you like candy, yeah.
Sweet, sweet lovin', got me goin' to the extreme
Who could have had it, this vibe has got a hold on me
Satisfyer, baby, let me show you what I'm there Oh my god, I keep messing this up.
Baby, baby, baby, won't you come to me
Oh baby, I'm craving for you
So wait to me like sugar to my heart.
Oh baby, I'm craving for you.
I'm missing you like candy, yeah. Jag kรคnde i รคt. Boy, I'm craving Missing you like candy, yeah
So baby, come to me Baby, show me who you are. Oh, wait to me like sugar to my heart.
Oh, baby, I'm craving for you.
I'm missing you like candy.
Baby, show me who you are.
Oh, wait to me like sugar to my heart
Oh baby, I'm craving for you
I'm missing you like candy, yeah That's it.
Even with a slip hop, you still rode right through it.
I'm like, why are my fingers not working
Can't win them all, I guess.
Can't win them all, I guess. You still got right through it.
You know, I've only heard you play that tune a couple times, and I love it.
For those of you who don't know, that is a cover song of Candy by Mandy Moore,
bringing it back to the 90s.
Like, pretty much all my songs, they all go back to the 90s.
That's what it seems like. Common theme.
The 90s was probably one of the, like, it was the last great era of music, in my opinion.
Like, it was a lot different than like you know say your classic rock and
you're you know you're really like composed greats or whatever you know from like when recording you
had you had to go into recording sounding good like sounding good in the 60s and and anything
before that right so you know music really took a turn after that but i'd say like i wasn't an 80s
fan like a lot of people are 80s fans and like yeah no hate but i'm definitely more of a 90s fan as far as you know as far as rock music went alternative music independent music
hip-hop music like the 90s was the last great era of music i think i agree yeah i definitely agree
i mean look i like the 2000s music but 90s for me that's where it's at you went yeah I feel like now I feel like maybe
maybe since COVID I think we're starting to see a like I don't know and maybe this is just me
being hopeful but like more originality come from music again I feel like like right now we're on
this like upswing of originality comeback I feel like I feel like there was like a decade or two
where everything was just really copy pasted and nothing sounded new or you know it was like rare to hear something
like really unique and and different and i'm hoping we see a turn around but honestly like
if you notice if you notice a lot of the recycled remixes are from the beats from the 90s and all
like all those like all those um good music you know i love when they bring it back
but it just shows how how classic and timeless those beats are you know and that they that
they can do remixes like that yeah for sure for sure yeah yeah yeah and i mean it is really
subjective you know what i mean like everybody's got an audience. So I'm just...
I mean, I like the bad boy era.
I'm just one aging hater.
You don't like that bad boy era?
I mean, it's such a shame he's a crazy bastard.
But I love the bad boy hip hop era.
I love, you know, B.I.G., like classic. All those beats are coming back.
I've noticed that too. I've even noticed, I don't know, Jules, help me, I'm not sure what the music is called.
It's like the techno from the 90s. I noticed that in, God, what is called it's like the um like the techno from the 90s i noticed that in god what is
that artist's name house music yeah but it's not house it's like it's like the techno like sandstorm
no remember like you'd go rollerblading like rank in the 90s and they'd be playing like early early
like 1990 and they'd be playing all that same, like, techno, electric,
electronic kind of music, but I can't think of what it's called.
But I'm hearing that come back in certain songs,
and there's a particular artist that I can't think of who it is right now,
and I heard it, and I was like,
I did not like that song back in 1991 when it was on the radio.
I don't know why you have this shit in your song right now.
You'll have to send me something if you can think of it.
Yeah, send it to us too because I want to hear that.
Yeah, I can't even think of who the heck it is,
but when I do eventually, because in my old age,
I'm starting to forget things, right?
Oh, my God, don't say that.
I'm just joking because Jules was saying that he's aging and something.
No, I'm trying not even to be that way because I know music is subjective.
Like it's really not a big deal.
It's like I just have preferences.
We got a whole bunch of people up here yay hey thanks for coming up
good to see you all suavecito we got mella v and we've got the great gatsby good to see you guys
how's it going hello suavecito yo what's happening how y'all doing you know we're just kicking it
kicking it. Good to have you. It's good to be here. What's up Mella? How you doing? Hey, I'm good. I'm good. Just got home, chilling out. Excited to be here, catching a space. How are you guys doing? We're doing good. Happy Friday Eve. What were you up to tonight? You're just getting home. It 9 p.m. for you isn't it oh um
yeah it's oh it is 9 p.m. and you just kind of reminded me I have water boiling
I should probably check it out. Were you doing anything exciting though? I've been I took on a new
side hustle venture and I've been teaching lessons I teach voice guitar piano and ukulele and I've been yeah like
right it's super lax it's super chill because the school I'm teaching at is very just like right now
I'm just like substitute teaching for teachers and I start like with my own students just on
Mondays soon so like it's very side hustling, kind of relaxed
and allows me to have the freedom to still
tour a gig because they want
to see their teachers doing that, right?
It looks good on the school.
Very cool. That's probably fun too.
Teaching is fun, you know what I mean?
I'm sure you enjoy it as well.
Oh my god, it's so much fun. I was thinking tonight,
why was I not doing this before?
It's so natural and fun. thinking tonight i was like oh i why was i not doing this before like it's so it's like so natural and fun so yeah it's exciting very cool that's awesome
yeah that's awesome mella
i'll tell you what i love my guitar teacher and i think that he i don't know i think that he
primarily teaches kids but then he has like, I think some clients
that are, you know, adults or whatever, but he is amazing. So I can totally see you doing something
like that. Yeah, it's fun. And it's cool because like, first of all, I really love, I work with a
lot of kids and I love like, how can you not have fun being like, all right, dude, let's strum the
guitar and like chill. Like it's so much fun fun I'm just like hanging out with kids and like having fun teaching them music so it's really
wholesome and cute and fun and on top of that it kind of forces me to return to the basics
and like practice things that I haven't practiced in a really long time and like kind of have taken
for granted in a sense because I've been doing it for so long that I'm just like oh yeah like I stopped doing this one exercise that actually really fucking helps me like why was I
not doing that so it's really cool like going back to the basics and kind of like I don't know
grounding myself a little bit back to like the technical side of music I guess yeah and the
guitar is actually pretty fascinating. I learned
my, not this past lesson, but the lesson before that, I remember looking at like a chart. Sorry,
guys, getting a little nerd, nerd out, nerded out here, but real quick, uh, looking at a chart,
right? You look at the neck and it has all like the strings and what the notes are. Right. And
then it has like each fretboard for each string is like a different
note. And I was like, what the fuck? Like this makes no sense. But I actually learned recently,
I was like, oh, it finally clicked. I'm like, if I put my, my first finger on the first fret of the
sixth string, when it's not there and it's open, it's an E, but when I press it, it's an F. And
then the second one is an F sharp.
And then the next one is a G.
And you know that when you get down to the 12th fret
where the double dots are,
that you come back to that original note, which is E.
And then it starts over with all the other strings.
And I was like, oh, I get it.
And the placement helps you figure out
like where the bar chords are.
My guitar instructor was saying the sixth and the fifth string.
If I can figure out those notes
then I know where the bars are I was learning like the shapes of the bar chords because I
finally learned how to play f minor sharp and they're all like e minor chord shapes all the
way down I was like oh my god I get it now you unlocked okay you literally have unlocked it's
like imagine there was a gate in front of you that was gonna open
up and then all of a sudden all these new songs and new skills and new opportunities to like make
different music open up because once you learn that and like you can play around with bar chords
and stuff oh does your life change you're like oh my god i can play anything i can literally do
anything i want now it's so cool so very exciting yeah like it. It's so cool. It's very exciting.
Yeah, like it's so much fun to like venture outside because I spent a lot of time inside that like box of like, nope, I don't play those.
I definitely spent a lot of time there. So yeah, I'm excited for you. That's so cool.
Yeah, thanks. I spent two years in that box. And finally, I was like, screw that. I need to learn. I need to learn bar chords. And the first one I started with was B. And I got it, but I
haven't been able to work it into a song yet, but I can play it. And then the next one was F minor
sharp. And I can actually play that for the most part in one song. And the reason why I learned
that one is because it was in the song. It's tears Tears for Fears. Everyone wants to rule the world.
And it's in it throughout.
And I was like, I need to get this down.
And then I learned the B flat.
And now I'm trying to work on B minor.
So first of all, this is so cool to hear because you're learning the exact way I learned.
I taught myself how to play the guitar.
I took like maybe like I would say like
six lessons or something like I it was my dad's friend that would come over and just like teach
me how to play songs though so he tried to teach me the theory I was like bro I'm 16 I'm pretty
fucking baked up right now you're just gonna teach me songs and we're gonna get on with our day so
that's what we did and um I have always been like this. Yes. Um, and yeah, you're learning
songs the exact same way I did or learning chords the exact same way I went, I learned how to play
the guitar because I basically just like would learn one song that had four chords. That's where
it started. I learned a song that had four chords and I got really good at that song. And then I
learned another song that had four chords, but it was like different chords. And then I got really good at that song and then I learned another song that had four chords
but it was like different chords and then I got really good at that song and then I just kept
learning songs like you're saying and I and then eventually I just knew all the chords you know
but then along the way I realized oh shit I should probably learn some theory here and actually
understand what I'm doing with the guitar um it's weird to be teaching, not going to lie, a little bit of an imposter syndrome going on because I'm like,
I shouldn't be teaching the guitar. I'm not like this perfect, amazing guitarist that knows how
to play anything. But then I get in the room and I sit down with this little kid that's looking at
me like, can you just teach me how to strum? I'm like, yeah, bro, I got you. So, yeah, it's an interesting adventure to be on.
And I'm excited for you that you're learning the exact same way that I did.
Yeah, because the way that you play, girl, one of these days, it'll take me years, right?
But one of these days, I hope that I'll be able to move up and down the neck the way that you do.
Honestly, you're such a quick learner.
So I would not be, like, every time way that you do it's impressive honestly you're you're such a quick learner so i would not be like every time i hear you it's insane so like i wouldn't be surprised if you're surpassing me in the next year or so like you're really really um just like
you adapt quickly you're just like oh shit okay we're doing this now i don't hear that
she's extremely consistent,
which will put her ahead of so many talented people.
Like as far as like guitar skills go,
like, you know what I mean?
20 minutes a day will set you apart from so many people.
And I think that's one thing that she's consistent with
we're going to hear Cara, like,
soloing on top of, you know, someone's track.
Like, oh, this song is featuring Cara
because she soloed on this song.
She'll be like Ross Martin with the Looper.
She'll, like, put down some guitar melodies
and then, like, be soloing over.
Like, Tash Sultana kind of deal.
Oh, fuck fuck yeah I love
Anyways I'll stop hijacking your
space. I always do this shit. No that's great.
That would have been brutal if
the circumstances were different. Wait I want to chime in though.
Hold on I would like to share my
thoughts please. Is that cool?
Okay, so Kara, I don't know what the fuck you just said.
I don't understand any of this shit, but I know the vibe.
So I'm assuming you just learned your first ollie except in the music world,
and now you can do so much more shit.
Because when I learn how to ollie, then I can kickflip,
and then I can make it up curbs, and then I can do it down 20 sets,
and then I can do handrails and backflips and fun shit.
And now you're like, oh, cool, I can do more fun shit.
And then I heard Mella talk about her imposter syndrome,
and I went, ooh, I get that.
And then the way you talk to the like oh yeah i got you little buddy
reminds me of skateboarding when i'm like yeah i go yeah man good job little shred i always call
him little shred doesn't matter who you are like if you're below like if you're if you're waist
tight you're a little shred so it's like good job little shred um and then i go i don't know how to
fucking skateboard it's so funny.
So congratulations, Kara.
Like, good job breaking the mold.
And Mella, you'll get over it. And then you'll start inspiring.
I mean, you're already inspiring.
Yes, I learned my first ollie, whatever that means means i'm assuming that's like skateboarding uh speak yeah you can officially leave the ground you know like when you jump with a skateboard
yeah yeah yeah it's like you're starting to fly you're starting to fly you know what i mean no
let's let's not get ahead of ourselves i cannot fly yet i learned the thing i got i got it kind
of for the most part right but trying to work it into songs
it's going to be another thing
and there's so many of them
oh my god there's so many
and it puts your fingers and your hands
in really strange precarious
I don't know how you guys do it
oh my god unnatural so i don't know how you guys do it but it's impressive the pain the pain of like
oh my god my honestly i'm not gonna lie to you my wrist still hurts like i'm not it's not gonna go
away like especially if you're playing for longer like the longer you play um i've honestly tailored
my sets based on like what songs hurt more sometimes i'm not gonna lie to you really
yeah because it's like if you're playing guitar all the time like recording gigging practicing
all that like all the time like your wrists take a toll or mainly just your whatever wrist you're
fretting with but yeah it's not fun so just be prepared there's gonna be wrist pain
wrist pain unless you're super lucky take your omega-3s folks i already i already have that
perfect yeah so yeah thank you for the thank you for that it's good to know good to know it's not
just a me thing some people might lie to you and tell you, no, it's okay.
No, my wrist actually hurts sometimes.
I wake up in the middle of the night and I'm cracking it.
Like maybe it's just me, but it hurts.
Yeah, I feel that pain too.
I think you guys got to wear wrist splints.
No, at night to rest your wrists.
So like when I have musicians, they come to me with all these kinds of problems.
And, you know, we got to do anti-inflammatories.
It's no joke because it's a wear and tear, you know, repetitive wear
and tear on your, on your wrist. So yeah, you have like, you can get them at CVS and just like
relax your wrists and wear them overnight. I mean, if you're really serious, if you're
practicing for hours and hours a day, put some ice on it. Yeah. And you'll, you'll feel a difference.
What can I do for my shoulder pain?
I'm like, I'm going to take advantage of the knowledge because like being hunched over,
I'm like hunched over just like my arms around a guitar a lot.
So my right shoulder, hella sore.
Honestly, I would start off with consult your doctor because I'm not your doctor.
I would say you would have to go see pain management and get into physical therapy and work on some stretches. And you might need, down the line, if it's really bad, some cortisone shots.
Or just some oral steroids and internal comfort.
But you've got to correct your posture.
You've got to be good to your body.
I was going to say it's been getting better, to be honest,
because I've been, like, doing that stuff, going to the gym, all that stuff.
So it's not as bad now, but it still hurts.
I would say, like say like you know definitely the
heat and stretching this is good information everybody should be doing this stuff i swear
call your doctor i'm off the clock
yeah we appreciate you spice yeah what's up gas Gatsby? How you doing? Perfect. You?
Doing good. Good to see you.
Likewise. I was going to go to bed, but I saw the space that White Wabbit was in.
It's so difficult to say White Wabbit sometimes. White Wabbit, White Wabbit, White Wabbit.
Actually, it sounds easier than it is. Oh, never mind.
Anyway, it's late. Forgive me for my idiosyncrasies emphasis on idio anyway um do you mind if i uh can i ask for some words now let's improvise a song
so i can just get this over and done before my phone dies because it's on three percent
no yeah go for it yeah i don't want your phone to die go ahead guys i'll let you all win sweet uh i'm gonna give love for a word
love sweet anti-disestablishment and terrorism i'll do my best nice one do you want to add
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious no no no all serious no um the word mystery mystery oh nice
one man love mystery and anti-disestablishmentarianism
I'll let me wide speaker it
one second my earphones were still in my ears One second.
My earphones were still in my ears. Excuse me. All we do is to love when it's said and done Will it ever be enough for all who we become?
And it is what it isn't and established disestablish humanitarianism
I fucked up the rhythm, never mind it's a given
Oh well just keep on listening, it's a given
Whatever just listening, it's all a mystery to me it seems
Living life just like a dream And you have all that you need already
Love is a mystery and did I mention what it is?
Keep on following your blitz and remember that it is what it is You can be vegetarian or pescatarian
And to this establishmentarianism And it is what it isn't
Can you please just listen?
It's a given, it's a demon The love is a giving
I did a means to fuck up a river
It's just a way of expressing
All we need is love, when it's said and done
And as far as we see it's a mystery
Poem. Wow. Wow, that was awesome.
I can't believe that you just improv'd that song. That was so good, man.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie to you. I like,
I forgot that you were improv-ing halfway through.
I was like, oh shit, I forgot.
Kara, me and you have the same emoji when you went...
I know, you're really good at the guitar.
That's a nice little riff.
It's called a diddly-doo.
It's called a diddly-doo.
Stop Asian hate. Yeah, that-do. It was really good. It's called a diddly-do. It's called Stop Asian Hate.
I'll be here till I get kicked.
No, that was amazing, dude. I I won't lie I fell into the same
and then what brought me back to reality
was when you added in that absurd
word that I was joking around the first time
and I went this motherfucker
sweet man thank you wow holy crap i jumped in the right moment that was amazing cheers bro much of reach
who's next good yes so um spice did you want to read your poem? Yes. Thank you. And then I'll drop down to listener, give other people a chance.
Um, so this was from, I had to start writing since I just had to.
So this is called The Downfall of Ego and Pride.
As the teardrops swirl around in the Petri dish, seeking new growth for loving memories.
All I see cultivated is your selfishness.
A mirrored reflection from the translucent plastic plate transmuting into a blur of deception.
Translucent doesn't always signify transparent.
For lovers, intentions are lost in the distorted synthetic
cracks of discontent. The silence echoed from the last embryo attempt amplified your brokenness
and lack of empathy. Lack of remorse coupled with your perfected antagonizing discourse.
Behaviors unexpected from a mother, yet as a subpar lover expected
from a narcissist. Heartless, an inflated ego preventing the words, I'm sorry, from rolling
off your tongue. Insensitivity at its all-time high. A wide-eyed, lash girl, I also mesmerized on how you lost a relationship
from holding on to your pride. That's it.
I thought that was lovely. Good for you writing again. I loved it.
Yeah, pride could really cost you a lot in life, you know.
There's nothing positive, I think, that results from pride because you're hiding the truth.
I think a lot of musicians and artists are like truth seekers, you know. This was inspired
to share in Flawless's space, this next one. It's about, you know, I give you a lot of credit. I
don't know if he's still here, Flawless, but he started his spaces to stay away from the bars.
And, you know, I guess it kind of kept him sober. So I had a friend
that, you know, we're not friends anymore because of her addiction. So this is called, inspired,
a reason to stay. So it says, give me a reason to stay, a reason to stick around. For every reason
you give, a thousand to counter can be found. My heart ripped open from insensitive words you spew,
throwing lovers and friends in my face, knowing I have only loved you.
It's best that I leave, for I refuse to be foolish, for I am wise.
Injecting poison in your veins, you become Mrs. Hyde.
Every time we speak, I feel taking for a ride
I see no reason to stay please see it through my eyes the hourglass is empty
our time has been served until you love yourself this bridge has been burned that's it thank you thank you so much for thank you for us yeah thank you
thanks guys for having me I'm gonna drop down and listen to the music
appreciate you coming through spice always
All right, Suavecito, what is up, my guy?
You know, I've been studying my poems and been like,
What do you want to talk about?
I don't think I have any real fun poems, though.
That's the only problem, right?
You share whatever you want.
All right, all right, all right, all right.
This one is one of my favorites.
Not too long, not too short,
but it kind of, you know, relays a message.
It's called, I found you.
When you find that one person, this is what it reminds me of.
Jumping from cloud to cloud, watching the stories of life unfold.
The grass green and just the slightest breeze.
The sunshine made us feel alive.
Stories written in the heart with a soul-tipped pen
I found you everywhere I never looked,
on the pages of every story written in every book.
I found you right when I had given up hope,
when I had gotten comfortable living cold.
I found you only after I had buried myself.
I found you only after I had buried my soul.
And finally, I don't feel alone.
I found you that I had been looking for so long.
Between the notes in every song,
in the early light when night turns to morning.
I found you in every name carved in wood,
in every whisper between lovers late at night,
in the one second hoping of lovers apart.
I found you before I ever met you
All along, I have been earning for you.
Yeah, a little cheesy. Yeah. A little cheesy.
I didn't think it was cheesy at all, Suavecito.
I thought that was really sweet.
Thank you for sharing that.
I had a grilled cheese sandwich that day, I remember.
I hooked it up like real nice, yeah I think I think that's what inspired I was like yo let me go real cheesy on this you know I mean whatever your inspiration is we
appreciate you so that works
I'm chewing I don't know if you can tell
Is there a grilled cheese sandwich
No but there's parmesan cheese on this pasta.
Parmigiano, Reggiano, you know?
Makes sense with the boiling water now.
I was wondering what you were making.
I just, I kind of messed up because I had chicken.
I wanted to heat up on the pan with some garlic and put that on top.
But I fucking forgot about it.
So now I'm heating up the chicken.
The pasta is getting cold.
Everything's falling apart.
So, Swapito, like, the way you talk about grilled cheese, like, do you leave the house without grilled cheese?
Or, like, do you have to have grilled cheese when you leave the house?
Like, do you carry a bag of grilled cheese?
No. So, I've got to tell you about it.
The way I approach a proper grilled cheese
spills out into other things
like a proper turkey sandwich.
daily life, that's kind of how I do.
how I love and hate and all that.
It's based around the consistency, the mix, the right ingredients, the right spices.
A lot of people don't know, but you got to have the right spices.
Do you like a red onion maybe in your grilled cheese from time to time?
I think that's not really my taste.
Well, cheese bread, I mean, you can do
That's a wild stretch, you know what I mean?
Yeah, that's a preference thing for sure.
I mean, tomatoes for me now.
Bacon. Bacon and a grilled cheese.
I had to say it. I fuck with the bacon and a grilled cheese. I just I had to say
Yes, yo, that's laughs of course
Did you want to did you want to run a track before before we go to Mello?
Hey, Steve, How you doing?
Yeah, I'm trying to figure it out.
Two jumps in a week, I bet you think that's pretty clever, don't you boy?
Flying on your motorcycle, watching all the ground beneath you drop you'd kill yourself for recognition kill yourself to never ever
stop you broke another mirror you're turning into something you don't leave
Drying up in conversation
You will be the one who cannot talk
All your insides fall to pieces
You just sit there wishing you could still make love
they're the ones who hate you and you think you've got the world all so stout
They are the ones who spit at you
Don't leave me dry. Don't leave me high. Don't leave me dry. It's the best thing that you've ever, ever had
It's the best thing that you've ever had
The best thing you have had
Aww Not sure you were aware that there wasn't any guitar in that, Stephen.
The way my phone picks up, it don't do both very well.
running around doing the acapella
thing now for the past few weeks because
doing both at the same time, like you said,
So he's doing one or the other. But yeah, Steve Zee, that was
awesome. I love that song for you.
Yeah, I love that one on you too, Stevie.
as well as the one you played last night.
Really wonderful tunes there.
Yo, I actually didn't even realize there was no guitar or instrumentation.
Yeah, I do feel a little naked with the sound,
but that's kind of just how it goes.
I'd like it to come through okay, at least.
That was a good naked performance, man.
A vocal naked performance.
I didn't see it had something to say.
I didn't think about that before.
I missed the bluesy guitar,
but yeah, the acapellas are great, too.
Hey, you're eating with food in your mouth.
Please tell me you're eating bacon.
I said please tell me you're eating bacon right now.
I have a shit mix of shit.
I got like this ginger fried beef rice bowl last night it
was massive so i only ate half but then i like cooked a fucking thing of ground beef and spice
and threw it in there just for extra protein so it's really just a mash-up of sustenance
so i'm hearing no bacon no bacon right now no no two different types of beef
Yeah, and Swab Seed, I don't want to weigh in.
Listen, two different types of beef.
We can let the bacon-free attitude slide tonight, right?
But we do have a new speaker up here. God, I'm going to mis I'm with it too. I'm with it too. I like protein.
But we do have a new speaker up here.
God, I'm going to mispronounce her name.
I'm just going to call you us three.
Let your eyes relax a little bit and speak user mod.
And it takes a second and then people go, oh, yeah. I it. I don't know. I call myself a weirdo too often and I get smacked for it. So I'm not a weirdo. I'm just a misunderstood engineer
who has been on this platform since 2010 actually roaming and making friends and doing all the stuff
with all the people and things and stuff. I used to work at Microsoft and a bunch of tech companies on the West Coast. I'm literally a
weirdo, but I get in trouble for saying it. Point is, well, like many of you, I've got kind of a
wacky artistic side. I was going to say autistic side, but that they both match.
And I found most of my family on this platform hilarious enough when I heard somebody talking about someone giving up drinking because they spent.
The reason I went to bars was to socialize. I didn't go there to get hammered and become a pancreas pickling alcoholic.
I just eventually became that because i wanted to
socialize so bad you know right i'm one of you guys i'm i wear my heart on my sleeve communicate
as forward as i possibly can and i like now i can just yeah stuff my face full of beef and not boo
do it do it do it you need bacon i agree bacon for sure i'd rather have the booze than the beef
right well i wanted to say something to you guys here i'm not going to stand on my soapbox i've You need bacon. I agree. Bacon for sure. I'd rather have the booze than the beef. Right.
Well, I wanted to say something to you guys here.
I'm not going to stand on my soapbox.
I've done that too many times in my life. But Moa here has become an inspiration to me just over the last few years.
Just watched her grow and go through really cool things like seeing, I don't know, I've
called her baby sis before.
It's like watching my baby sister go through all kinds of amazing growth in life.
And I've stunted some of my own, and I'll just leave it at that.
I won't go into a long story, but because of the stunting of my own growth,
I have my baby in my lap right now.
My girl, I just pulled her out of my case.
And I'm an actual baby. Fuck fuck me you had me for a second yeah
right and i got my acoustic guitar which i i used to not go anywhere without literally with me at
all times everywhere all the time all the time um and i gave it up many years ago due to some
really painful things and my favorite instruments at the time were destroyed,
which made it harder for me.
Like writer's block, every time I sit with her in my lap,
I named her pain a long time ago,
so I literally sit here with pain in my lap.
But unfortunately, with as much pain as I have here sitting in my lap,
the tears do not flow until recently.
I hear there are some open mic nights roaming around out here.
And I would like to use it as an opportunity to further open myself up through pain and my growth and do something that I need to do.
And thank you, Mel, for your inspiration, your family.
And I love you and your family and all the rest of our family out here
for being inspirations to each other.
Because, you know, without us, we can't do it right so yeah drop my mic play my plane
oh yeah man i didn't know you play guitar man i'd love to hear it
oh my god i'm not crying. You're crying.
Because I was totally like,
thought you were just going to kick in there.
So I'm too excited. Yeah, dude.
Like, the anticipation is killing me.
Let's see if I can still do this stuff anymore.
are you on wide spectrum?
because I heard the guitar
and it sounded like it was almost squashed.
Let's just make sure you're on wide spectrum.
So if you slide your X controls down, like your iPhone controls from the top.
And then you should see X controls in your little options window.
And just open the X controls and just make sure that you're set to the wide spectrum audio setting.
That is epic. Oh, my God. See, okay, listen. That is epic.
I'm an IT systems admin, and I didn't even know that shit was there.
Yeah, if you're playing guitar and singing, that's definitely the way to put it.
And then maybe a foot from your guitar.
A million times better. A million times better.
Good call out. Thank you. Music Okay.
Sounds of pain. Wow dude that's the first time you've played in how long
um this is the first time i've been sitting playing this past few days uh my fingers hurt
like hell uh in about a decade so i'm teaching myself how to restrict my fingers again.
Yeah, I mean, the hand strength, the calluses, all of it.
I mean, I'm going to be in pain for weeks.
But, I mean, you know, pain.
I mean, right here, she's in my lap.
You just can't do it without it.
Well, you've got your way into the right place, man.
Yeah, we're happy to have you it's definitely the spot where you can come and and and uh resonate with pain you
know what i mean so uh yeah i appreciate you coming up man and playing for us you're welcome
anytime we do this every thursday yeah yeah thank you so much yeah we're here every thursday at 8
p.m est and user mod yo you are you are incredible this is the guitar this is the first
time i've actually done this around other people in years it's amazing amazing i want to play like
you that was incredible and i was only i was disappointed because it was too short it was
way too short i wanted more well i need to get a little more confidence boost but um i'm gonna
start uh i'm working on a couple of covers uh one of them um well i don't know if i want to give it
away um one of them don't one of them is drops of jupiter but um but Jupiter, but I'm teaching myself the piano part as well as guitar, and then I'm going to mix it myself.
Grab the wooden spoon and mix it.
Grab the wooden spoon and mix it.
How are you doing tonight?
Did you want to play something for us?
Then we'll check in with Mela.
I'd like to hear someone else.
still eating or did you want to play some music um i am a slow eater so i'm i'm i'm still eating
i totally finished my food before you already i'm a very very slow eater as well it literally
takes me like an hour to eat some food so no worries yeah like
that last night was a treat like i had that ginger fried beef bowl but lately like my food
is so boring like i eat for purpose only so like it's yeah it's just it's been so so boring lately
but the ginger beef was delicious i still just eat fast though what's that yeah you're a foodie
you gotta make it interesting no sometimes like i, you see some of the dishes I cook, like sometimes.
But for the most part, it's like I eat for purpose, like in sustenance,
and it's just pretty boring.
Well, I didn't mean to tell a happy, sad story and make Melly like criteria
Sorry, not while you're over an alien bowl.
I don't know it's just good connections good people I feel like I've met people on here that I haven't even
actually given a huge bear hug or
like family like real like minded and actually
it's hard to disagree that
does things that we can't explain
it's easy to find resonance
in a music space where everyone just appreciates
is that people are putting out
glad you're here, thanks for coming
It sounds like you're in a fucking,
bit of a fucking mischievous mood.
I feel like I should practice it.
It's called Hung My Scarf.
Hung my scarf in my room.
I tied my scarf in my room I tied my shoe and you did too I put on a t-shirt and you put on perfume Please speak before I begin to have another thought.
Smile at me before I begin to frown.
Wondering what I'll be wondering here in my room with you
You'll be wondering what you'll be wondering too
That was very very decent and reasonable
I was expecting something
That was awesome slip I liked it
Yeah, that was sick I like that
Catchy stuff. I thought for sure I was gonna hear hear something about private parts, but no, that was good.
I was like, oh shit. Here comes.
Well, I guess I'll do a song.
Jules, maybe you want to run something afterwards, and then we'll check in with Rabbit, see if he wants to play another one.
And then we have Ezekiel up to play.
And then maybe by the hell it might be done eating.
I see Thanos down there, too, so I was going to show him some love.
Tech, I see Chris down there still, too.
I think she's just listening tonight, so I won't put any credit.
Shout-out to everybody hanging out.
Yeah, Thanos. I'll put Thanos on. And we saw V, yeah. Shout out to everybody hanging out.
We saw VG Rasta there a couple of weeks ago.
I wanted to run one of her joints too just to kind of change the vibe.
But she put out a new one,
her first drop on the blockchain.
Definitely need to get them in.
Everyone, thanks for joining the space.
We appreciate you so much I don't want to believe what you say
You'll be dancing my faith and my patience
You know that I'd be headstrong
But you know that you'll be dead wrong
Tell them you're relaxed, I'm reacting
What if nothing ever will change?
Cut between love and our place
Oh, I wish there was a right way
Cut between love and our heart beliefs
Do I even have a choice when
Yeah, you hurt me so good
And even when you cause tears
You don't wanna wipe them away
Maybe that's the reason I stay
No sleep at night, at least you're all mine
And if I had to choose my heart or you I'm gonna lose
What if nothing ever will change?
Cut between love and a hard place
Oh I wish there was a right way
Cut between love and a hard place
Oh, oh, oh, oh, but if nothing ever will change, cut between a left and a hard place.
Oh, I wish there was a right way.
Cut between a and our heart bliss
Oh, I wish there was a right way
Caught between love and our heart bliss
What if nothing ever will change?
Come between love and a hard place.
Cara that was extraordinary
You really started getting into that song
And I could tell well done
So good yeah that last little run
At the end was, man, killer.
Yeah, that was really good.
I appreciate you guys, because I fucked up the first two songs I played,
It's good to get through it, not mess it up.
Don't tell people, right?
Because they'll never know.
I'm going to bust up here real quick and just say the ZQ thing is something I did a few
months and I haven't been on X for a while.
This is the first time I've been in this case for a long time but it's ron g and you know a lot
of you guys are my buds and my friends like jock and slip and all y'all it's good to see you um i'm
not hiding or like anything because you guys know and here i am love you ron man fuck yeah it's been
a long time dude yeah bro i know i bailed out and i've been spending most of my time on the coast in Sea Ranch writing and recording all summer.
I'm back and some things are going really, really good.
But I swear to God, I wish I would have had Kara's voice in a couple of the last things that we've done, because that was absolutely stunning, confident, and pitch perfect.
You want a woman's voice?
Well, not yours, but maybe Kara's.
All right, I'll shut up now.
Thank you guys for having me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks for coming through.
That's the way it always has been.
Yeah, it's nice to see you, Cara.
We've been friends for a while.
Yeah, this year has been a shit show.
And actually, even today was a shit show,
I'll be through more of them.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be able
to drop something down for you guys to
listen to in a little bit.
Maybe. We'll see what happens.
Yeah, for sure. Stick around.
We're going to cycle through. I would definitely
love to hear something from you.
Also, I want to say hello. We've got
What's up, Pugs? How you doing up here. What's up, Pugs?
Hey, you doing all right?
Good to see you. I spent the night wrestling with my bass amp and couldn't figure it out, but I got to put together mostly.
Well, I hope that you won the fight, Pugs.
Yeah, struggle is real from very many things.
Third gen, girl, how you doing?
It's better than I deserve.
Thanks for coming up. It's good to see you. Did you just say better than you deserve. Aw. Thanks for coming up.
Did you just say better than you deserve?
I like the saying, but I disagree.
I disagree, too, but I do like the saying.
All right, Jules, did you want to please say yes, did you want to run one of your tracks?
And wait, before you say it, but wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
before you say anything, let me just tell you that when I started this space with Tony
from Crimefighter, you remember, all we did was run tracks from him, from his group, from
whatever, right? So he was getting his music
out there uh you have a lot of music and we all want to hear it so it's gonna be it's gonna be
yes i'm gonna strong arm you into this to play more to play more music yeah i just like i'm not
you know i'm not uh yeah i i love the live music i like listening i enjoy co-hosting and hanging
out and and providing a laugh when i can or whatever but um run the jewels yeah i mean you wanted to run a thanos track i'm
sorry like i would rather run this track like i'll run this thanos track that i produce but yeah this
is something that him and i are probably going to be you know hopefully putting out in the next
couple of months like i know you know him and i both got our own stuff going on on the other end
and he's trying to mint out some other stuff but i think probably in the in the fall him and i'll get a small body of workout together and anyway this is
um this is this is one of the tracks off that project Oh, God. Sweet was playing hooky she screaming him down stairs go get your making cookies the ep just called baby
alligators she got the violence favor she like an hour later but just around for paper the traffic
was far worse jump in the car first and it ain't pick but a finger to make this far worse
taste the rainbows like she was shittles and my hands she break down like peanut brittle
oh you're ridiculous and easy to chew my cherry I I'm like, when you come home, give me an hour, that's it.
Now the roof of her mouth sore like Sour Patch Kids.
I'm like, watch the snaps that get all up and get guts.
French vanilla, pecan, chocolate, they're not fun.
Man, there's always one for jello, girl, I don't give a fuck.
Caramel Sunday, okay, you doing just too much.
I mean, you funny there, I caught a potbelly, she called me Gummy Bear.
Couldn't leave because the receipt
that's what's the money here
I think that for these to leave the fall
like the plastic on the trickle stick
to make away but lost the cause
now every time we talk she's
picked up up with no remorse
now everybody getting candy
she went from Amos to Andy
and Ed had but when nerves call she probably hands to her this is what she got really married to a job right I love that song so much.
Yeah, that's my, when I think of just the raw, original kind of, we're hip-hop, the
bones of hip-hop, you know what I mean?
That's the kind of track I think of.
So, yeah, man, I'm super stoked on that. uh it's gonna be an ep called baby alligators we'll probably
get that out in the next couple of months i think so yeah you say baby alligators baby alligators
no way that's crazy yeah the baby alligators like dreams of baby alligators signifies new beginnings, etc.
And that's going to be the name of the project.
You got to tell Spanos that he must use the word Alcatraz somewhere on the cut.
You can't take me anywhere.
I have a keen sense of the obvious.
Thanos, you really tore it up.
Every time I hear you guys play that track,
Yeah, man, I appreciate it appreciate it yeah like i don't i
don't know what it is about like we might hang up and you know maybe thanos is going to help me with
that but like you know i've been sitting on tracks for a couple years out here with the intention to
do something on the blockchain and i just haven't yet and i don't i don't know why i feel weird
about it yeah hey we about to get to it real soon j Drews. I'm mad that this record sat so long, man.
But definitely special, man.
I don't know, when you get a guy like this, man,
painting his dope hat, putting his dope canvas together
for an artist like me, man, I think shit like that's
The record says it all, bro.
I actually heard the original, bro.
So I don't know where I was at.
I want to say I was in clubhouses somewhere
and I played the record in the room loved it and
What it is one of the girls that was in the space like she she named the artist
She knew the original ascended back. Yeah, she's like, yeah, I love the original shit
I did what it was crazy. Like how you with the drums and all I like yeah, you know, so shut out the Jews already on that
but yeah, and then you know just the references of I think you know me doing like, you know with the world with the drums and all that, like, yeah, you know, so shout out to Jules Audio on that. But yeah, and then, you know, just the references of,
I think, you know, me doing, like, you know,
with the word association thing and doing all that,
you know, dropping, you know, the Milky Way, the Hershey.
Yeah, man, it just, yeah, like, I couldn't,
I couldn't have a, when I sent you, like,
I think I sent him, like, eight beats or whatever.
And, like, that's one of my personal favorites,
but I've had that one turned down by so many rappers before, you know what I mean? So it's like, that's one of my personal favorites but i've had that
one turned down by so many rappers before you know what i mean so it's like it's one of my personal
favorite beats because it's just a dope hip-hop joint so like when he sent it back like i like
you blew me away with that dude i never would have expected it to come back like as solid with the
candy bars and like the you know what i mean candy bars double entendre right there too right the
candy references the bars you know what i mean so candy bars, double entendre right there too, right? The candy references, the bars, you know what I mean? Right, right.
Yeah, man, it's just solid.
I love that track a lot, so yeah, I'm stoked to get that one out.
But there's definitely like, we got some other stuff that's, you know, of the same caliber,
but it's just not that flavor of hip hop, you know?
Yeah, but I know, you know, shout out to those that get it and, you know, get the idea of it, man,
because I think it is a dope concept.
just the sounds man i love like uh just uh something that ain't just the norm you know
i'm saying it's definitely outside as normal definitely give you a vibe of certain never and
shit right yeah man a lot of fun hey yo if you uh if you got can you send me a link to that
new vg track if she ever pulls up i want to fucking show her some love and run her joint
But she pops in once in a while.
But yeah, if you got that link for her new joint,
that would be dope if you send me that.
I'm glad this bass is recorded because I want to go back
and listen to that track again, which I love, by the way.
But I kept hearing a couple of notes and chords
going back and forth, like
And then going back and forth. Dude, that's some
I like it. It's innovative. It's not just
the same Thanos. And Jules,
thanks for dropping that today.
Good job, y'all. Don't ever give up.
No, it's just a part of our lifeline, I think, at this point, man.
Like, you know, some of us do it with an in-game objective,
and some of us just do it because it's like we have to.
Because we just love doing that, really.
It's just part of, like, you would be a bitter ass, you know what I'm saying,
like, if you just put away what you love doing, man, it's just part of, like, you would be a bitter ass, you know what I'm saying? Like, if you just stop, if you just put away what you love doing, man, for society or somebody outside of yourself, you know?
But yeah, appreciate that, man, for sure.
Yeah, man, you just keep being you, don't ever stop, period.
Yeah, and, yeah, if, I mean, if you're into the hip-hop, too, like, tapping with tap him with Thanos like he's got He's putting stuff out on the regular like I don't I don't know if anybody's you know could doing this consistent
Amount of tracks of verses this this guy is over here, too. So yeah, yeah, I will hit on that because I'm kind of curious about
Doing some blues guitar behind some modern hip hop beats and rap rap so yeah man we'll connect uh yeah sure
yeah I should have yeah I'll run one of my tracks actually to a little bit
later that's what I I have one that you'd probably like a lot and I don't I
play a bit of guitar but I had somebody solo on this one it might be the kind of
vibe but yeah I always love to collaborate with with whoever or whatever
on on a hip-hop track for sure.
I can kind of, especially some bluesy guitar.
So, yeah, I'll play with that one in a bit maybe.
Hey, yeah, I sent that to you too, Juve.
So just check your email.
Yeah, I just got the notification now.
Thanks for coming up, man.
Oh, yeah, appreciate you appreciate you yeah I was sitting there
on the game and just listening in to the vibes and all that man but then you know I tap in and
see you know see what was going on man so it was dope uh shout out to you Kara yeah shout out to
you I love the music that you're putting out um and also guys I almost forgot um stay tuned like
we're not going to do it right now but probably sometime in a bit
Jules and I well I challenge
Jules hopefully you did your homework
I challenged him to learn
I challenged him to learn some shit on sex phone
and I sat here and did my due diligence
part of Rhapsody in Blue on my clarinet
that I haven't played in fucking years
Because I'm not that good anymore.
It's just going to be like a minute.
No, it's going to be like 20 seconds.
Yeah, I totally, I didn't,
it's funny because I totally cleaned my place up.
I did like a deep, deep, deep,
but I actually put my sacraments out for a while,
but I had it put away this week.
Terrible, terrible. But I do have the first bit of making excuses, but I actually put my sacraments out for a while, but I had it put away this week. Terrible.
But I do have the first bit of that scene.
Well, you play the first bit, and I'll play the first bit,
and we'll see how it goes.
Yeah, I'll have to practice in the background.
We'll see if I can get it.
Guys, you totally forgot the challenge.
Like, I actually get it. Guys, you totally forgot the challenge. I totally sat down.
clarinet together that hasn't seen the light
of day in years, and I tried.
And I was supposed to have
George Michael's Careless Whisperer
Gershwin. Like, what the fuck?
Seriously, right now. There's no comparison.
I haven't played a minute. Yeah, but you
promised a minute, but you're only going to deliver 20
Yeah, well, you know what? I'm not as good
at reading shit as I used to.
I was like, wow, these are a lot of notes
that I don't remember how to play. Yeah.
it's been so long since I picked up my guitar that I don't remember how to play. Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's been so long since I picked up my guitar
that I plucked, I plucked,
he's stringing it went thud, thud.
Hey, at least it didn't break on you.
I had to change my strings.
I'm just asking Mella how she's doing.
I'm sitting here jamming.
That means she's close to ready, though.
That means she's close to ready.
I can play whenever. Now I'm good
Okay, that means I have to pick what I'm going to play.
Okay. Okay, that means I have to pick what I'm going to play. Okay.
I kind of want to play the...
I kind of want to play this old one.
This one's, like, very old, so just bear with me.
I basically got Dakota to give me like 10 random words, and I was to write a song with
And he was really mean, and one of those words was like, what was it, pumpernickel?
I won't tell you them all.
Let go blackbird, don't tantalize another day
The scrapbooks are left undone
Cause I can't bear to see your face
You left the pumpernickel out to dry Since then it's never tasted right
But the gin and gingers Now they go down just fine
Baby, how you messed up my mind And I took them down Every memory we stuck to the wall
All that's left is my calendar A day doesn't pass where my heart doesn't
hurt And that new guitar.
Hasn't and won't see the light of day
every time I strum a chord.
I choke up missing the magic we made.
But the gin and gingers, now they go down just fine
Baby, how you messed up my mind Oh, it's cataglysmic
Maybe how you messed up my mind
Wow, Melody. Wow, Melody. Oh, Melody.
That was beautiful, beautiful Melody.
I think everyone in space just did.
I got to tell you, it's weird, man, not coming into these
a long time, and hearing the maturity,
even amongst the mature artists
that are here, you guys are
fucking killing it. Mello B,
Mello B recently returned home from a trip to the
Hollywood Independent Music Awards
where she was nominated for one of her original tunes.
Very amazing and a lovely person.
Definitely tap in and check her out.
I think I'm going to call that cataclysmic.
I forgot. That's one of the
words he gave me he was like so it was like blackbird cataclysmic pumpernickel scrapbook
calendar guitar like there was some like just weird random shit and i was like okay cool
it's funny you say that i was thinking in the middle of your last verse, Cataclysm.
Mel, I have a question for you.
Have you sang that in a duet
fracturing. That'd be great amazing you you kind of you
kind of rugged but i'm assuming that you said duet right yes yeah i was wondering if you've
done that in duet yet no i haven't that would be cool interesting you just need someone with
You know, about 25 years, actually, I think it was pretty damn close to 25 years ago this week,
I met Alanis Morissette, and we flew up from the WHF Festival in D.C. to Canada to go listen to this woman.
Everybody says, you got to go see her. So me and Tommy Mottola, who was head of A&R at Sony back in those days
and is now president of UMG,
would jump in a private plane with these freaking kooks
and we'd go up, we'd walk in this little teeny bar
and there was a lot of singing and playing her shit.
And it was absolutely amazing.
But I heard one thing missing.
It needed bass and drums.
And I always say that about every freaking song.
anybody that was willing to come and play and be there with her and flee fucking flee says oh yeah
i'll be right there dude like three hours later he's playing and listen to and look i mean just
look at the album right um jagged little pill uh it's Flea as a bass player, and it will all make sense to you.
Mela, I feel the same way about what you've got going on right there.
You know, that's some funky, groovy love right there.
So thank you for sharing.
All right, so, Rabbit, you want to play another one?
Yeah, I'll finish out the host round.
Thank you for accepting the co-host, by the way.
Thank you for accepting the co-host by the way.
Oh, of course, of course, Garamia, always.
Oh, of course, of course, Garamia, always.
I'm going to play a song that I dropped in XGT that I've been working on.
I was actually fiddling around on my violin while I was waiting in the queue.
This one's called I'm Healing. Thank you. Oh, find my peace of mind
Oh, I don't got to be nobody else
I'm free to be myself Kara's holding space
Then they dropped me co-host
And now you know You can soak it all up.
We don't got to wait, nobody else.
Go on, be yourself. I just wanna heal, you wanna feel, go and let it all go find your peace of mind let it shine until it free flow
you don't got to be nobody else you're free to be yourself
oh i've heard that song so many times. I love it. I love it.
I literally wake up and that song is playing in my head.
I'll be working throughout the day and I'm like, I just want to heal.
And I'm like, oh my God, rabbit.
It's really, really nice to listen to.
Yeah, it's really nice to listen to.
And every single time I hear Rabbit do that song, I see this and hear this same line.
I'm numb everywhere and I feel everything.
I've never said or told you that, but man, it's yours.
I'm numb everywhere and I feel everything.
But that's what I've heard every time you play that beautiful piece.
Dude, I was working on some bass parts in the background.
I can already taste the collapse.
Funny fact, Pugs could play that song in like eight seconds flat.
Pugs is like a, he's a musical genius, guys.
There's a lot of that flowing in here, y'all.
Don't ever settle yourselves short.
You're all musical geniuses.
He sings it. He's just saying it to you seriously just keep doing this is the Savant let
him have it I'm regular dick food that yeah for me no no you're not I know you
we are friends we talk on the phone I know you you are a savant shut up
i have moments guys do not listen to him lies i disagree with you pugs you've uh you've got
you can you can do things that a lot of people can't do didn't you say you like
played bass and keys at the same time in a band yeah my last band oh man it was
vocals bass and keys on about six to eight songs where i literally do you see do you see like so
that was the challenge like one of a one instrument for the majority of us is enough
this was like simple rock though this. This wasn't Geddy Lee.
qualify it. Do not qualify it.
Don't take my taglines, man.
I think the smartest of us are more idiots than Savant, to be honest with you.
Always remember, you are unique, just like everyone else.
How do you catch a unique white rabbit?
Thank you for your dad, Jake.
musical savants, we have the
musical. What did I call him musical genius what
pugs you're up pugs it's you all right um i've been i've been in a bass mode lately
working on a collab with chris and
yeah like i so lightning struck a couple of weeks ago, like right nearby.
It ran through the house, through the amp, through the cord, and it electrocuted me and
And so that amp blew, but it still works.
Now the amp that was not plugged in that night, my better amp, does not work.
It's the first time I plugged in and
touched it since last October I took the thing apart on Devin's recommendation
almost gave birth to a cow put it mostly back together anyways I'm just gonna
noodle on the base a little here quick question do you need a fender baseman or
I have a whole room full of them.
I need to get rid of at least one or two.
Oh, I need a new five-star handle that much.
Okay, I've got shelves full of them.
Oh, my God. How am I not going to jump in here on the kit?
That's a drum kit, man. Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and do it. Thank you. musical savant.
My dad was a bass player and so was my grandma.
And that just, like, sent, you know, spiritual shivers up my spine.
Well, there's one person with perfect pitch for sure.
You're a good noodler, bro, to say.
Hey, I'm going to send Jacques a picture of a Trace Elliott head and cab that I can send to you either as a gift or use whatever you want so I'll send it to you I can re I can reper
excuse me I can refer anything that anyone sends me because I've been obsessed with tubes since I
was like eight so this is 1500 watts of beautifulness and I just don't have room to keep here in the studio anymore.
Okay, well, I'll see you in a few days anyhow.
I'll drag it back up here with me.
Well, Ron, you are up next if you would like to share something.
Then we're going to check in with the real slim the boss yeah let everybody
else go today i'll sit here and just encourage and if i get really weird i might say something
you guys are i mean this is incredible um how to walk and come back into an x space it could not
have been better than this and i am blessed by you all. I appreciate you so very, very much.
This space would not be anything without all of you.
Yeah, all of the amazing talent in this space.
We are very much appreciative to the people that roll through.
So, Ron, you are more than welcome to stay up with your speaker and participate.
But you don't want to play anything for us?
Not at the moment. Right now
I'm focusing on going and making a
cocktail that is going to be stronger than
the last one we've had. Don't be rude.
I'm just saying. I'll be right there.
It's going to be a little...
All right. Mostly liquor of a cocktail are you making? All right.
So now you're going to ask me to get a splash of flavor.
No, what's happening right now is I got some fucked up news this morning.
I've been like literally on ketosis and fasting for almost a week.
I'm like, what can I do alcoholic wise?
other than beer. So I'm drinking vodka
or some other flavored shit,
intend to get literally hammered
So when I drink, I drink with
doing is worth overdoing.
You're in more shattered pieces than I am.
Don't do that to your spouse. Dude, I'm shattered.
I'm going to have another surgery.
I'm going to have a good night tonight.
May I recommend a vodka soda with lime?
That's what I'm currently drinking.
Jen is the cocktail queen over here.
I'm really sorry to hear about that in all seriousness.
So thank you for your thoughts to you.
But yeah, drink your vodka, man.
And Kara, you know, I didn't mean to come in here and be a little whiny bitch.
Well, if you feel like you want to share something, just let us know.
Oh, maybe I'll play you a drum solo in a little while.
Then we got the real slim up here
on stage what's up how you doing
please don't tell me you're referencing me when you say that. It's going to make things way worse.
No, we've got Real Slim, the boss, hanging out down there.
The Real Slim Shady. It's the Real Slim, the boss.
Slim, did you want to share?
I saw him throw an emoji.
The mute button is just a bit further than the left.
The boss. I think he played a hip-hop track for us last week this year, didn't he, actually?
Well, Slim's not answering the phone, so we'll circle back.
All right, so my list is upstairs. I stepped
outside, so I think the next
person that we have up is Steve Z.
Steve Z! Steve Z. Yeah. Steezy? He's making a cocktail. He heard us talking. Steezy!
He's not answering the phone.
Jen, would you like to sing a song, Jen?
You're a couple drinks deep. You'd love to sing a song. Oh, sure. How about Jen? Jen, would you like to sing a song, Jen? You're a couple drinks deep.
You'd love to sing a song.
You know me so well, Jules.
Baby, can't you see I'm calling A guy like you should wear a worn hand It's dangerous, I'm falling
There's no escape, I can't wait I need a hit, baby give me a hand
You're dangerous, I'm loving it Too high, I can't come down, losing my head spinning round and round. Do you feel me now? Taste of your
lips, I'm on a ride. You're toxic, I'm slipping under. Taste of a poison paradise, I'm slipping under taste of a poison paradise
I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic
And I love what you do, don't you know you're toxic
It's getting late to give you up I took a sip from my devil's cup
Slowly it's taking over me Too high, I can't come down
Losing my head, spinning round and round.
Taste of your lips, I'm on a ride.
You're toxic, I'm slipping under.
Taste of a poison paradise, I'm addicted under a taste of a poison paradise
I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic
And I love what you do, don't you know you're toxic
Yeah, I love what you do, don't you know that you're toxic?
Taste of your lips, I'm on a ride You're toxic, I'm slipping under
Taste of a poison paradise I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic?
And I love what you do, don't you know you're toxic
Intoxicate me now if you love me now I think I'm ready now
Intoxicate me now if you love me now I think I'm ready now
Intoxicate me now if you love me now I think I'm ready now Intoxicate me now
That was the best version of Britney Spears I have ever heard.
I like your version better than Britney, girl.
I didn't have to go as high as last time.
You have such an incredible voice on you, girl.
Yeah, I really loved that rendition.
That was really tight. The sound was great. It came through great and clear on the speaker, too. Wonderful. That was the first time I ever heard you, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you.
incredible wait until you hear the rest of her songs that she covers and the really fun thing
about Jen is that sometimes she will send me these videos that she records on like a karaoke app
called smule I think right so she'll dm them to me and I'll run it but as I run it I get to sit here
and watch a video of her actually singing like to me right but y'all get to hear the voice but I get
to see the video of her singing. I love those.
But I love you doing it live, Jen.
Yeah, I usually just do that when I'm like, well, if I'm somewhere isolated with very poor signal.
So if I'm home, I'm going to sing to you in real life.
We love it both ways, but I love you live.
I'm getting all embarrassed.
Okay, go to the next person.
All right, Porky, there's bacon everywhere.
Thank you for your patience.
I had to turn off the air conditioner.
I was going to say, are you eating bacon? Please tell me you're eating bacon no no no bacon today no have you been attacked by spiders yeah that's the next question
no no I'm not scared of spiders anyway though oh my god well you got the
monsters out there where you live I learned this recently so stay safe oh
they those are those are just harmless ones. The alligators and stuff is what scares you.
Let me play you something new.
Yeah, I live on the bayou, so I have alligators and all that.
I made this day before yesterday.
Were you born on the bayou?
Here we go. Thank you. Thank you. music Thank you. Music I'm going to go. Porky!
Oh man, I'm such a fan of your beats. That was awesome. I really really like that one.
Oh, thank you. If you know who could sing on it, I don't know right now.
Oh dude, I was totally picturing like Lorde wrapping on with that, man.
I'm sure if Joseph was here, he probably would have come up by now and been like,
Hey, Porky, you know my email.
He's always got an idea of who can sing on all of your tracks.
He wants the same person to sing on them.
I'm trying to branch out some more.
Well, hopefully you can find somebody.
I'm sure there's a lot of people, a lot of talent that you could pull from.
Yeah, White Rabbit probably.
That sounds like a good collab right there on that one.
Yeah, I want them tracks.
I doubt very many people have had pork and rabbit together.
That's got to be a stupid role.
So I got a question, man.
And this is just a question.
Please don't take it any other way.
Is that a mix off of a spark positive grid device fighting
chance I'm just curious no I cut up samples and do your ones excellent stuff
on my FL studios I really liked it I took me a minute to figure out what you
had going on but once you got into it I'm talking about like bar eight for me right I was down I mean really I got it so think about that yeah
yeah it's awesome porky thank you so much for being here appreciate you so
guys I do have a list going so if you're up on stage I do have you in the queue
but I do see that Max has his hand up.
Did you want to weigh in with a comment?
Or did you want to put yourself in the queue?
I'm a little bit tone deaf and offbeat, but I have some words to say to it.
And I'm really impressed with the artists that you have up here on the speaker panel.
We have a lot of talent in this space.
I'll wait until you hear the rest of them, because we got, we got, we got, oh God, I was going to say Danger.
I was going to say Danger.
We've got Danger Devin, also AKA Danger Devin up here.
We've got Stash, who joined in.
And we got Chris, who I did not expect to come up.
You got so many, we got so many good people up here.
So, Steve Z, are you with us?
We were trying to call on you earlier but you weren't
there so did you want to take another turn yeah i can do one all right awesome all right and then
chris key yourself up girl you're next after steve all right i'm gonna try with the guitar again if
it sounds um bad you can you feel free to stop me. That's fine.
And I'll just do a, we can do someone else or I'll just, I'll do a quick acapella one.
See my Live out forever and go
Booking hellos that used to shine

Broken hello, let each two shine.
Broken hellos that used to shine
Broken hellos that used to shine and
broken hellos Steve, that was amazing.
Oh, it's so good to hear you play with that guitar again.
I mean, look, I'm not going to lie.
The audio quality, it's not bad, right?
But it's just not as clear as it could be.
And I thought it was great.
If it's tolerable, like, I'd prefer playing with the guitar but if it's
like cutting out and garbage then like i don't know dude i'd rather just listen
it wasn't it wasn't garbage and just switched to wide spectrum it was coming through so close
i liked it it's got charm you know it's like when you listen to like a
or watch like a movie from like the 1920s
it's got that old school radio in the pick-em-up truck.
I'll pick you up in my truck.
Well, it's almost like people who are listening in,
you can hear that, right?
The microphone wasn't invented until
the 30s, but the joke lands
I like that. That was the first
time I heard you playing guitar
the trouble with your mic and stuff.
playing an instrument along with your vocals
And you only put Jules to sleep for about five seconds.
I was practicing the saxophone.
That sax ain't going to blow itself.
Damn! That sax ain't gonna blow itself I gotta quit now I think I got it though
In the last however long I was sleeping
However long you were sleeping
We're gonna go through a few more
And then we're gonna do our little like
And then we're gonna get through
the rest of the list and we'll do a host round and then go back through so prepare yourself tools
don't fall asleep all right chris did you want would you like to play a song chris hello hello hi What's up, Kara? What's up, Chris? How you doing?
Hi, Kara. I'm doing good.
I'm procrastinating so much that I haven't finished my packing.
Hi, everybody. How's it going?
Yeah, I'm here too, Chris. Thanks.
Long time no see White Wabbit.
Miss Jen, Porky, Pugs, how you doing?
Guys, I'm really excited about what me and Pugs are doing.
I know there's some technical difficulties, but I'm not worried about it at all.
We have some solutions for that.
Roo, Steve, Ebba, Casey, everybody.
Jenny, all the usual peoples here are here.
Hey, before I go back to my packing, can I sing one song?
I've only sang this song once in space and I want to try to practice it again.
Let's see if I can still do it.
One, two, one. let's see if I can still do it what to our heads
well sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water
and I think of all the things what you're doing
in my head I paint a picture
Since you're coming from where my body's been a mess
And I've always opened your hair
And the way you like to dress
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come over, Valerie
Valerie Did you have to go to jail?
Put your house up for the set?
Did you get a good lawyer?
I hope you didn't catch a tan
I hope you find the right man who'll fix it for you
And you're sharpening your wear Change the color of your hair
And you didn't have to pay the fine
You were judging all the time
While my body is venomous
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come over stop making a fool out of me
Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think across the water.
And I think of all the things, what you're doing. In my head I need a picture.
Oh, since I've come home.
Well, my body's been a mess.
And I missed your ginger hair.
And the way you like to dress.
Won't you come over? Stop taking a fool out of me.
Why don't you come over Valerie?
The rain Thanks everybody.
I have to call it a fire department.
Call it a fire department because you lit the space on fire.
Girl, that was incredible. Thank you. That's such a fun song to play you guys
i love it uh thank you everybody now i gotta go oh lord that's such a fine play of a song chris
thank you thank you danger was that you wait wait i. Well, she said it was a fine song to play, so I said it was a fine play of a song.
Ah, okay, look at you being so witty.
I would. I would all night.
All night long. All night long. Oh Yes, do it, Pugs. Finish it up. Come on. Yeah, Jumbo Jumbo.
Wait, what's the chords for that?
I feel like we need to do that.
Yeah, I think you do get it.
It's got to be A, C, and G, right?
It would be like a triette, not a duet.
I think that was an excellent song choice
I think we should do like a
We're teased. Oh, oh. Oh, good. Tease. What a tease.
All night long. All night. Right? All night long All night long All night
All night. You guys can finish it up.
Don't talk about me like that.
I'd rather be sharp. Thank you, everybody.
Let me go finish packing because I'll be in trouble.
Appreciate you coming up.
Yeah, don't get in trouble.
Appreciate you coming up, girl.
You got me looking all over the place for the freaking chords and tabs of this song.
So thank you for that. Don't bail on it.
That's Lionel Richie, right?
Who said A-flat? Because that was
a very good call. That's exactly
What are you packing for?
to take you all today. And right now, you can take 50 minutes. Yeah
That was fucking brilliant I just saw like Chris packing a guitar into a case in her bedroom And like smiling at the camera while she does it.
I fucking bent over here, dude.
because we've got a scuba diving thing on Saturday.
We've never been there before, but we've talked to people that are locals.
And it's basically, we're literally going to a beach, walk to the sand, swim on the shore, 20 minutes out to the reef and then dive down and then do
the same thing back in reverse but do it twice in a morning but it's three hours
away so we're driving tomorrow night to get there that night spend the night over
then Saturday morning we go straight and then after we get out of the water we'll
probably just eat hopefully find a place to rinse and then after we get out of the water we'll probably just eat hopefully find a
place to rinse and then drive back to where drive back three hours home it's gonna be intense
don't drink the water don't just say you're gonna go to the reef and then turn down flip it and
reverse it that's what i did darling on my hand it's here for my nipot when you up
let's go down to the reef and flip it and reverse it down to the reef and flip it
And reverse it down to the reef
And flip it and reverse it down to
Oh my god, what happened here?
Anyway, alright, let me pack my scuba gear
Because I can't forget anything.
Don't forget to pack air.
Did you say don't forget to pack air?
This is not a scuba chip.
But scuba's not like with tanks or anything.
Scuba's like you got a little thing sticking out of the water with your, I think.
They're like, don't go too far.
I'm okay with things wrong.
We have to use scuba tanks.
Yeah, we do use scuba tanks, yes.
And we do have snorkels, but that's for the newbies, so we don't really use it.
Yeah, so the newbies wear snorkels we don't
that's awesome all right so can i say something real quick for so i spent from the july 14th
until last monday over at on the coast we built a makeshift studio out of extraordinarily
expensive houses in sea ranch and for the last ever like forever this from beginning of trip to end
anytime you walked upstairs if there was no fog over here in california on that particular part
of the coast you could see whales and it was ridiculous i've never seen anything like it
and we're out there we're pretty much you know just watching one evening at sunset and a blue whale the largest freaking
creature on the planet came out of the water i could not believe my eyes because i thought those
freaking humpbacks were huge this thing was freaking huge and anyway i'm rabbit trailing
on a whale song thank you for that it's actually a funny story so a good friend of mine has a blue
whale story but it's actually just like this fict funny story. So a good friend of mine has a blue whale story,
but it's actually just like this fictitious story.
He's a fisherman friend of mine.
And he tells this story about how he caught a blue fucking whale, man.
And like, it's just a really dramatic story about a blue whale.
And he tells it really epically.
And you just, you reminded me of that.
So it gave me some nostalgic vibes because this guy's blue whale story was,
And it was a fictitious story.
He caught a blue whale himself.
He pulled in a blue whale himself.
Wait, can you do the impression one more time for him?
That was a one-time shot.
I caught a blue whale, man!
Well, you know who never caught a blue whale was Melody, but she makes good music.
But she makes good music, and I want to hear a Mella song.
That's what I want to hear.
Well, she never caught a whale, but I kind of like her music.
Okay, wait, I never caught a whale
You never caught a blue whale Actually, we're assuming you haven't but
Well, she like lives in the middle of a landlocked nation. Like, there's no way. There's no way this is going to happen.
They have coast, you dumbass.
Well, yeah, we have coast.
More freshwater lakes than you can count there.
And the lake looks like the ocean.
You can't see the other side of the fucking thing.
And I don't got to worry about sharks when I swim in it.
You should stick to the rivers and the streams that you're used to.
Don't go chasing waterfalls.
I fucking love that song.
Don't go chasing waterfalls.
Please do the rivers and the streams that you're used to.
You should do it your way though.
Do it your way for real. Do it your way though i mean yeah do it your way for real do it your way and one day maybe you'll catch that blue whale i'm gonna look up the cords right now
it was a blue whale but god dang it how do you make you gotta make you can make that song better Blue fucking whale. Oh, I can't. Blue fucking whale is awesome.
I feel like I'm in a Step Brothers movie
Don't leave that kind of deal.
Don't go chasing blue whales.
Okay, speaking of fucking shit up,
who's going to kill the next track for us?
Well, while we wait for Mella, I think.
Oh, I'm actually going to play.
I could actually play a song,
but I don't think I want to play that one.
You do whatever you want, Mel.
We don't need that kind of negativity, Mel.
And then after Mel is stashed.
So stashed, cue yourself up.
Was the audio okay last time? Because I had it kind of set up differently i was okay
yeah yeah you sounded great
um shit cool song title um i'm gonna play my new one that I just wrote not long ago.
I kind of want to challenge myself to see if I can remember the lyrics.
Not look at my notes. Okay, I got it. make me sick I'm falling ill and I can't even hide it
savory smile oh it's been a while it's been a while
silly sweet and a touch of madness maybe he's got a past, some type of badass With a winter stare and skin so fair, oh
Here we go, here we go again
I'm all choked up, I'm a mess
Falling into the deep end, baby
Here we go, here we go Here we go, go, go again
Big brown eyes and a sense of humor I'd sure like to put him in his place maybe at his
place hold me close tell me you love me if just for tonight I'll stomach the heartbreak
Honey, I'm not scared, a little unprepared, oh
Here we go, here we go again
All choked up, I'm a mess
Falling into the deep end, baby
Oh, oh, oh Here we go, here we go, here we go, go, go
Again I'm choked up by my mess Falling into the deep end, oh baby, oh oh oh
Here we go, here we go, here we go, go, go again
Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm Here we go, here we go again
I'm all choked up, I'm a mess
Falling into the deep end, baby
Here we go, here we go, here we go, go, go again
All choked up, I'm a mess
Falling into the deep end, baby
Oh, here we go, here we go, here we go, go, go again.
Wow, girl, your voice sounded killer on that song.
That was just fucking lovely.
Yeah, let's just pretend that wasn't fucking magical.
Always a pleasure to listen to you.
That was harder than I thought it was going to be at this
I mean it is almost midnight
I should have thought about that
and I'll have you know I didn't look at my lyrics
new song fresh in the brain
I was sitting here trying to figure out how
to play don't go chase waterfalls and shit while you're doing that so wow nice thanks dude
yeah that was dope Mala thanks again
it's so cool cuz I'm gonna hear her play it like in another space like three weeks from now and I'll be like,
It sounds a little different. She's done something different and she's gotten better at doing this part of it. And I like it.
Yeah, it's so fresh. I still need to work out the bridge.
Yeah, so it's just the more you play it, the more you solidify it. Well, yeah, you get comfortable with it. Exactly
Yeah, so where can we find that song? Oh, I just wrote it like I literally just wrote it
Oh, it's not oh no, you can find it right here on drop the mic Kara
Yeah, I think I'm gonna try and record it soon
um and i think i'm gonna call it honeymoon phase oh i like it oh that i'm sensing a theme darling
oh my gosh when did you did you guys set a date oh we haven't set a date yet no dude it's been crazy
because it's like we got engaged and then we started recording an album and then we're like
okay we're planning a tour and okay and also you're doing this i'm doing that like there's
so much happening oh and we have to go to hollywood for this thing yeah and then we have to go to
hollywood like yeah it was crazy so ordained minister show
up to one of your shows and be like wed i should just yeah we should just get married on stage
that'd be sick we play our shows together yeah um i don't know i gotta figure it out everyone's on
my ass like my whole family his whole family everyone's on my ass they're like when are you gonna what's happening i know dude nobody will leave me alone and it's it's lovely it's great i know
people want to celebrate they want to go have a good time they want us to fucking make them
grandchildren and they won't shut up about that either god damn right yeah oh god oh god girl take your time the best advice i can say is take your time do it in your
own time and let everyone give you shit yeah do it you're doing your own time yep that's you gotta
do that in your parents time when they say they're ready for grandkids you gotta pop one out dude i literally had my mom and his mom standing right in front of us it mind you it was new
years and we were all drinking they're like go downstairs right now and make us and i'm like
guys all right do you know what you're telling us to go do right now like calm down
fuck well you can just do what my wife did
Her parents were bugging us about grandkids
So we were at a party one night
His wife's black and they had a black baby
And she's like give me that
She took a selfie with it
And she sent it to her folks
At like fucking 2 o'clock in the morning
And they're just like what in just like What happened did you adopt
Oh I love my wife so much
If this makes you feel any better
Exactly I'm like I'm with the right one
You're with the right one
My daughter is my youngest and she wanted a sibling when she was like nine.
And I was like, oh, so finally, you know, I kind of, and she would, you know, hey, hey, hey, when are we going to have a sibling?
When are we going to have a sibling?
And I finally had to sit them both down and explain, you know, the birds and the bees to both my kids.
a sibling for about three months.
Then the little shit looked at me
and goes, Mom, I want a sibling.
Don't you have something to do?
And freaking winked at me.
I'm not even lying. She's such a turd.
She understood the mission.
She was like, don't you have something you need to do?
Well, I keep trying to explain to people, like, I don't think they realize, I don't think parents realize when their kids become adults and they start, like, badgering them to do that.
You know, like, go make us grandbabies.
Okay, so let's just, and this is not the case for me.
I just know someone that went through this, but I know someone that really struggled when they,
when they finally just started, started to like try having a baby. And I'm like, can you imagine
being in that position and your parents and their parents are just on your case every single time they see you
like imagine you're you're like trying and struggling and then every time someone sees you
they're like hey when are you gonna give us a grandbaby that's gonna make you feel like shit
so I kind of told them that was my way of getting them to shut up I was like guys like
imagine it like I'm not but imagine that was the case How bad would you feel if every time you saw me,
you were just like making me go home and cry about the fact that it's not working?
Like, that's just, I don't know.
It's just kind of something I think you should just let people figure out on their own.
You can't play with people like that, Melody.
You just can't do it, man.
Next time you just need to be like,
do you have any idea how many times
I just think it's weird to be like
I don't know it's just a weird thing
Disheartening I totally hear I totally know. It's just a weird thing to... I know. No, it's really disheartening.
Anyways, that's enough me ranting.
I clearly had to get that out.
Your next song is going to be titled Not Making Babies.
Nah, it's going to be called Running the Plow.
Nope, push it out. Nope, it's going to be called Run in the Plow. Nope.
Go Diana Ross on that shit.
Well, Mella, we wish you the best.
I hope you figure it out in your own time.
Do not get in into the peer pressure.
And if you want to go make a baby in the space, shout out Drop the Mic.
This baby brought to you by drop the mic
that's what they made the video portion of this shit all about
I feel like if someone's making a baby during a space
it is obligatory that they must name their baby
space or the host of the space i feel like now could you could you imagine if someone made a
baby in the space that you hosted like a month or two ago that was called danger noodle oh my god
yes yes i need to host another danger noodle space you do i'm gonna do that i'll schedule it
i'll send it to you guys.
We'll just shoot the shit.
And then we'll find out you got married,
and you named your baby Danger Noodle.
Danger Noodle would be like a high five.
I'm so honored right now.
But then we start calling him Danger Noodle,
and then it just goes sideways.
I think it's just a straight up D and D. Danger Noodle, you know what I mean him Danger Noodle And then it just goes sideways I think it's just a straight up D&D
Danger Noodle, you know what I mean?
A Danger Noodle is a snake
Oh, you never heard that one? How did I get here? No A no probe. Wow. What? That was good.
Oh, you never heard that one?
I learned so many interesting words from Jules.
I got a grievance and gratitude list that she's been working on two times.
I do. I'm keeping the list. Grievance and gratitude. Like,'s been working on two times. I do.
Like, fuck them bitches, but thank God for these hoes.
And all that bitches, like, whatever.
You wait until I share my notes with you, Jules.
Como estas, Stashio? Muy bien, muy bien. ยฟ. Stash. Hello. Hello. Hola, hola. Como estas, Stash?
Did you happen to listen to that song that I sent to you earlier by chance?
Because it sounded like you.
I was busy all day today.
Well, hey, FYI, it's a song that came off of Yams, Jules.
I hear the percussion with him.
I don't know if you had a chance to check out the tune I sent you in your DMs,
but that's a really fucking great new tune by...
It's actually a hip-hop artist, but it's like an acoustic-style track. I sent it to you in your DMs, but I think you would do great new tune by, uh, it's actually a hip hop artist,
but it's like an acoustic style track.
And I sent it to you in your DMs,
but I think you would do that one really well too.
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Music . . . I would tell you about the things they put me through, the pain I've been subjected to,
but the Lord himself, oh, would blush.
The countless feasts laid at my feet, forbidden fruits for me to eat.
But I think your pulse would start to rush.
Now I'm not looking for absolution, forgiveness for the things I do. But before you come to any conclusions, try walking in my shoes. Try walking in my shoes. Steps, keep the same appointments I kept.
If you try walking in my shoes.
If you try walking in my shoes. Morality would frown upon, decency looked down upon, the scapegoat fate's made out of
But I promise now my judge endures My intentions couldn't have been pure
My case is easy to see Now I'm not looking for a clearer conscience
Peace of mind after what I've been through After before we talk any repentance
You'll stumble in my footsteps
Keep the same appointments I could try walking in my
if you try walking in my I'm sorry. you I do it for the bing bongs Oh me too That's all I want
Oh man I just dropped my clarinet
I know how important that song is to you
And I don't hear you play it very often
Choose to share that with us
I know the story behind it
Like, you know, trying to pick out your genre
if you're ever trying to pick out a musical identity
It's definitely like Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys and stuff.
La introducciรณn con leyenda.
Oh, yeah. That was like. La introducciรณn con leyenda. Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I love that track on you, Stash.
Really shows another dynamic
that I'm used to seeing out of you, too,
and I thoroughly enjoyed that one.
I don't like anything on stash
i fought three bulls during the intro just fyi oh good good i don't know i like setting the
setting the stage wherever we're at you know i used to tell stories um in church in church like
before playing a song or something like that i didn't have pads and i'd
use cinematics and stuff like that so it's cool that uh you know to bring that kind of an energy
um it was awesome yeah i'm just teasing you you know i'm just teasing it was fantastic
no thank you absolutely amazing st, thank you so much.
So the person ahead next left.
So what we are going to do, guys, is we are going to go to Devin.
And then after Devin, I see Rocky.
After Devin, we're going to go into a little host thing. And the thing is going to be comprised of uh the saxophone
clarinet us butchering songs we don't know how to play yes exactly yeah i have not played my
clarinet in years and jules has has just learned how to play careless whisper just a bit of it so
we're going to do that and then and then we're going to let rabbit play a song. And then Jules and I are going to do the host round, right?
By he's going to run one of his tracks and then I'm going to play a song.
And then we're going to kick off the rest of this shit.
So Devin, what you got, man?
I've got some things. What did i play for you when i was here
earlier oh man what's that song uh what have you done to me that is that the one i did
yes i don't want to repeat my medium it was a medium scream yeah that's right it was the medium
scream song okay um well kind of caught me off guard cara like you've been giving everybody
else heads up about playing a song and then like so we're gonna go to devon and i'm like
a mouthful of fucking chips so i'm gonna sing this song with chips in my teeth
um i'll do everything to everyone how about that yes
i love this I'll do everything to everyone how about that Sliding down your wall like a drop of wine that missed the glass
Leaving a stain on your table
Unchained destiny calls And so I escaped your grasp
Becoming everything you said I wasn't able
Then you scream in the night
Because you lost me as your slave
You know you made me dig this hole
That now you're gonna call an early grave Because I can't be, I can't be
No, I can't be, I can't be
Your torches fill the dark, your cries of a wasted line.
I see the hate in your eyes, you've tasted the poison of your venomous lies.
But still you swear I'm the one, I'm the one Who tried to hide the truth
And now you're terrified, terrified
Because the lie was found in you
Because I can't be, I can't be
No, I can't be, I can't be
I said I can't be, I can't be everything, everything.
No I can't be, I can't be everything to everyone
Sliding down your wall like a drop of wine that missed the glass
Leaving a stain on your table
And so I escaped your grasp
Becoming everything you said I wasn't able
But still you're screaming the screaming eyes
Because you lost me as your slave. You know you made me take this hole that now you're gonna call an early grave.
No, I can't be, I can't be everything
I said I can't be, I can't be
No, I can't be, I can't be everything
To every one Oh That was epic hey you guys I gotta say good night
Somebody's gonna grab me to a bar I'm gonna go do karaoke I can't fucking believe this is happening
I love you I'll see you next trip Kara thank you you guys are amazing thank you so much
I can't wait to see you next time I can I can't wait to go get hammered. So, see ya! Bye!
Your voice is sounding so killer.
From the medium screen to the full screen.
Oh, that was just like...
It was like butteryy though, you know?
We have this thing talking about how danger comes into spaces and just screams at us, so...
But it's always a good scream.
It's not like it's unpleasant.
Yeah, he's not angry screaming.
It's positive screaming. It's got a positive scream. He Yeah, he's not angry screaming. No, not angry screaming. It's positive screaming.
It's got a positive scream.
He's got a wonderful voice.
Like, I'm positively screaming.
I ordered him off Amazon.
So that's what you guys get.
I'm glad I'm not wearing headphones tonight.
I feel bad for anybody, though.
Kara just lost six headphone listeners, Jules.
Oh, maybe a couple. We're about to lose more more because we're about to both butcher this fucking shit.
We got like fucking, what is that number?
We got like 40 people in the space, Jules.
All right, so for context, once again,
you know, Jules plays sax, right?
I was like, you need to learn some songs on sax.
And he was like, all right, blah, blah, blah.
Right, so Careless Whisper.
And I was like, listen, if you learn Careless Whisper,
I will take, I will dust off my old clarinet from high school band.
And I will fucking play some fucking Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue.
And he was like, all right, deal.
Yeah, she can read sheet music and she's going to play some classical music.
I tried to learn Careless Whisperer by...
Trust me, it's not going to be good, Jules.
It's not going to be great.
I wish I could read sheet music, but I can't.
Careless Whisperer, here we go.
Sometimes my music is sheet.
I said it's okay, buddy, sometimes my music is sheet.
Yeah, maybe, ah fuck, I'm probably never gonna lean her head and read sheet music, but that's almost there. That's almost there. Hang on.
I think something like that.
Nobody wants to listen to somebody learn how to play a song.
You sound so much better than I do.
I don't think I wanna go. To my music, see you so hard.
Oh, that was smoother, buddy.
You just needed to lube it up a bit.
I gotta lube it up a couple more times.
It's almost there, though.
Almost got it. We almost there though We're listening
Don't release that spit valve just yet
I enjoyed that thoroughly
I killed a couple of Canadian geese
He's even got the vibrato
I just recently got this synthetic reed
So it's like you can just pick it up and play anytime
But I'm still getting used to it
So like once in a while I do kind of
Pinch it off and kill a goose or two,
the one bro should learn some ghostbusters.
You're making me want to go buy a saxophone.
So that way I can do shit like that.
Hmm. That was incredible Jules challenge
complete good for you good job I think I almost got through it once there but it's close you did
you did it so well it was amazing thank you for learning that right. Now it's time for some Kara next. Thank you for challenging me to learn something new.
I definitely haven't learned anything new in a long time, so I appreciate the challenge.
I mean, we can keep challenging each other, but I don't know.
Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin is where I draw the fucking line.
This is not going to be good.
I promise you right now, it's not gonna be good.
It's not going to be good.
That's why we love you, Cara.
That's why we love you, Kara.
There's real lizard cats right here.
You got this. . . . Oh, I can't do the run.
I can't bend the notes like you, Jules.
That's all you guys get. That's way more technical than what I was doing, though.
You're playing classical sheet music, for Christ's sake.
For the first 38 seconds, Cara, I was in Alice in Wonderland.
Like that was, with that clarinet going in the background, I was like, oh, I'm gonna go see the Mad Hatter.
I can't figure out the rest of it.
I can't figure out the rest of it.
Thanks for sharing that tonight.
First time I heard a clarinet in a space.
Well, you know, thanks for listening, guys.
You tuned in to the challenge.
The challenge was answered. it. I loved it. The challenge was answered.
You can do all the fucking dynamics.
Hopefully we didn't hurt anybody's ears too bad.
Well, with that, let's go over to rabbit we'll let him
play a song and then jules maybe you want to cue up on your tracks and i'll cue up a song
and then we'll move through we'll get we'll go to rocky after the host round
so first of all i want to say uh i couldn't be more proud to be sandwiched in between the two
of you that That was awesome.
A very long day would work.
It was a sexy clarinet sandwich.
Pressed together between two horns.
A sexy little rabbit sandwich.
I've been fiddling away tonight.
And I might have to open up a space and see if I can get this sound down, but maybe I'll bring some violin to you guys here in the future.
I really hope so, because when you were talking about it earlier and then you started playing guitar, I was like, I DM Jules.
And I was like, man, I thought he's going to play the violin.
I want to hear that shit.
No, I got to try it out first because I don't want the sound to be terrible.
I'll work on it and I'll bring it to you guys.
I'm going to play Sugar Cane tonight. Sugar cane, it's that easy morning I'm one and lonely Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
That I've done so much wrong. I know, don't you leave me now.
Left running back to one sweet thing
Hey moon Please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
Sugar cane's so sweet to my lips and my tongue
You're so sweet to my heart and soul
The ink is running from the pitch again
Left running back to one sweet thing
Running lonely Bing bing bong!
I love that song, Rabbit.
Thank you for having me and sandwich me in between this sax and clarinet battle.
I didn't catch it at the beginning if you said it.
That's a fucking dope song.
Yeah, I think I've only played originals tonight.
Where can I find your music?
He's got such a vibe to him.
Yeah, I hope he gets some out there.
Oh, it's not even letting me fall on you.
I'm in the process of locking in a producer.
I've got a lot of love from people,
and I would like to share it with them mostly.
I'm not really in it for the money.
I just care about the people that really love my stuff,
and I want to get them a copy of it.
compliment coming from you, Melody.
His service keeps going out.
Unfortunately, it's frequent.
He'll be back in about 70s.
Super, super happy for you. there he is oh so rabbit you
cut out why don't you oh i'm sorry yeah for the last couple days spaces have been doing that
i just wanted to say congratulations on your engagement and i love your music too
that track that you played i had heard it once before but i love that track that you played. I had heard it once before, but I love that track. I definitely want a copy of it.
Anyways, I'll DM you if it lets me follow you.
It says pending, so you have to accept me, I guess.
Rabbit has been a very welcome new addition to Spaces.
He came up in Cardano Night's open mic night.
I want to see maybe like a month or two ago at this point.
And it was like the first space that he had joined, the space that Flod and I host. And. And he came up and I was, and he played a song and I was like, damn dude, you're fucking
amazing. And then he started making his way through. He, uh, he, you know, we followed
through with, um, some mutuals, found XGT with Jonathan and all of us and started joining those
spaces and then still comes back to, you know, Cardano Knights, but he's also in other spaces and now he's hosting his own spaces. So Rabbit's out there and Rabbit has connected with a lot of
people. So everyone in this space, meet Rabbit, White Wabbit, give him a follow, tap on his PFP.
I know he's private, but he is worth the follow. His tweets are not fucking crazy. Like you can tap
on him and you know what? He'll, he'll, he you know what? He'll allow you to follow if he wants.
And he's got a lot of original music that is really fucking killer.
So thanks again for co-hosting with us, Rabbit.
I appreciate you so much.
I do take pride on everybody that I follow and follows me.
I got a really tight bunch of unique and
wonderful individuals. Definitely feel free to give me a follow and I'll follow you back.
Very grateful to be here, to be in all your presence and just have the friendships that
I've forged inside this room alone is like amazing. It's been so uplifting to me and i've hoped that i'm able to do the same for you
guys too it's a lot of love going around uh i def i just started picking up my own space
on wednesday night the connection uh feel free to uh come into that too
awesome thank you all right jules are you ready to run one of your tracks?
Yes. That's the correct answer. Bing bong.
Yes, I am. What am I going to do here?
I couldn't quite hear you.
There was a bit of a delay.
Yeah, there was a bit of a delay.
You know, Jules, I have a question.
And feel free to tell me to kick rocks. But do you have something of yours that you can share that we've never heard before?
I, yeah, maybe, but nothing that I would have actually like finished mixing wise that would, I would play probably most of what I've finished.
Most of what I have finished, you guys have heard.
I was just curious if you could share something, you know, something.
I mean, I maybe have only played this one like once because I'm not quite happy with the mix.
So maybe I'll play this one.
I think you might have heard this once in like a Krover space a long time ago.
So, yeah, so yeah, anyway, it's not bad,
but it wasn't like, it wasn't ever like a complete track.
So which is why I've only played it once.
So I'll play that even though it's not my favorite.
Hopefully it comes in right.
No disclaimers. Oh, you know you know sometimes you gotta let go
and you know you know sometimes you gotta let go
and yo i've been called them ghost to find me walking along guitar case full of hoes
that's parada if you wanna rock and roll i'm in search for soul and i don't know if it's my own
got a handful of hope the heart and soul of the oceans, more flow in the globe
Y'all told the line, I go with no design
I hold my own with no opponents by my side
And I've been trying to find my mind, invest my time
Redefine how I prioritize my life until I find my vibe
And I've been blazing my days away
Stargazing, stay chasing, contemplating these games we play
Break away from the crazy, trying to catch and break Lazy days away, we play break away from the crazy trying to catch a break

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. There's ain't no need for defeat yeah we need more of that in our life
all the time all the time i appreciate that man yeah i don't know what it is about that one i just
really like i like i honestly like don't yeah i don't know what it is i just don't i don't like
that one it's one that i just i don't like playing for some reason but anyway no it's so good i love
that one yeah i appreciate it i like that one but yeah i don't and maybe it's just it could be just
a mixed thing for me but like honestly like and it like if don't, and maybe it's just, it could be just a mix thing for me, but like honestly,
like, and it, like if you, and like you hear it through a space is probably reasonable,
but the kick drum, like in the mix, there's like, I don't know, just the way it came out
and it just makes me not like it for some reason.
Cause it is a decent song.
Like it, it is a good song.
Like the, the, the foundation is there for sure.
I'm going to ignore your perfectionism on that one jules sorry thanks yeah i appreciate it
oh i think cara might be rugged out for a second. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, that one for me is like, it's, I mean, it was like, it's a, yeah, I think it's just that kick drum that fucking just kills it for me.
And I, and I don't have the computer that I had this project on anymore.
So there's not much I can do about it at this point.
But yeah, that was actually me.
But that's, it was actually a friend, it started as a, it was a friend of mine's instrumental
at first that they sent me.
And it was just kind of like this simple, just that kick and snare and then this like
That was actually like me playing the piano on that.
I'm not much of a piano player, but all the piano that you heard on that was actually
That's probably my favorite part about it. But all the piano that you heard on that was actually me playing the piano.
That's probably my favorite part about it, was the piano lick on it.
The piano lick was amazing.
The whole song is so good.
I don't know why you don't like playing that.
I don't know. Maybe I'm a little bashful about my stuff.
I'm trying to get past that and get it out there
because there is definitely some songs that I have
that I want to release in some fashion for people to have.
And like Wabbit said, I'm not Wabbit.
It's so funny calling him Wabbit instead of Rabbit, but it's okay.
Yeah, that's his name now.
Yeah, I'm like name now. Yeah.
Yeah, I'm like him, you know what I mean?
Like, I don't, I never wanted to, yeah, I wasn't to market myself.
Because my real passion is, like, you know, I really like working with other artists and producing and, you know, especially the hip-hop stuff with some of the guys I've worked with out here. Like, I enjoy helping other artists, you know, put their sound together.
your artists, you know, put their sound together.
And like, that's, you know, I don't know,
something about that is I feel a little more passion for that
than I do for my own stuff.
It's kind of just a hobby and cathartic for me.
But yeah, anyway, I appreciate it.
You definitely get me out here and help me share more
and put myself out there.
And, you know, I learned a new song on the saxophone today.
I'm so happy to do this just
just to push your ass like for real because you are incredible and everyone needs to hear your
music and everyone needs to hear your saxophone so i love it and i'm gonna keep pushing you i'm
gonna keep calling you out in spaces. Hey, grab a mic.
Appreciate you coasting this space with me tonight, Jules.
And I love that you learned Careless Whisper.
The song that I had planned is not working out for me.
So I'm going to do a familiar song that some of you have heard and some of you may have not. But sorry for the repeat.
But this is, it's comfortable.
Oh, God, that's loud. Hold on one second. Take me down, sit underground, grabbing at your feet
Open, all that phrase. Come me down, bring your breath I can't see like nothing else.
Hit me, I'm better than I wanna be.
Don't think I understand.
I care. Don't think cause I understand, I care. Don't think cause I'm talking with friends to falling from grace Tuck me down, sitting down, too strung up to sleep.
Wet me out, screaming shout.
Swear my time's never cheap.
I think my life's like I live too much. Take whatever you're getting.
Just falling from grace I think my life like I live too much
Take whatever you're getting
Watch his face, I'm open to falling from grace Overground, watch this face
I'm open to falling from grace Music
Ding dong! All right! Bing bong! Bing bong!
Kara, amazing song as always.
Hey, thank you so much, guys.
Thank you. Thank you, Rabbit.
That was beautiful, Kara.
I love the realness behind it, too, because she starts out, she starts out she's like oh shit that's way too loud
what's like a sorry we've got three Canadians
in the space what's like a sorry we've got three canadians in the space what's like a really
what is the most interesting canadian phrase that i can use with y'all what what can i say
an interesting canadian phrase yeah i don't know it's probably so different from all three of our
provinces though it's probably how is it different probably we're pretty like far away from each other
Well, well she's in an igloo in Ontario I ride a polar bear to school. That's what everyone said when they were kids.
We were only on 20 hours before.
We just upgraded to the 24 hour clock.
Okay, so from each of your...
Jules, why do you make it sound like we're coming out of the stone age, man?
I think the most Canadian thing you can say.
This is the most Canadian thing you can say.
That is definitely the most Canadian thing you can say.
It's either that or you can preempt this with any statement you want.
Sorry there. do you know uh
which way i need to go to get to this place oh sorry i just want to tell you something say sorry
either but either but oh man i she nailed it you have to notice say sorry a lot we really do
you guys do apologize a lot yeah, but also when you do say,
Like it's, oh, hey there, bud.
Yeah, like you almost get like that Brooklyn fucking
going to head to the car down there in there.
Like if you get really sick on the Canadian,
you can really fucking throw those words.
Some people say it's like almost Irish. Like, if you get really sick on the Canadian, you can really fucking throw those words. Yeah.
Some people say it's like almost Irish.
Yeah, a little Irish in there for sure, yeah.
Okay, thanks for humoring me.
There's a tinge of ginge in my beard.
It's more blonde. It's more blonde. A tinge of ginge. A tinge of ginge in my beard. I'm not going to lie. A tinge of what? It's more blonde. What?
Yeah, there's more blonde.
I'm stealing that jewelry.
Wait, did you say you have a tinge of ginge in your beard?
Did you say you're going to steal his ginge, tinge, gin?
The front of it's actually blonde.
It's not really like ginger.
The front of my beard is actually blonde.
My mustache and my tinge of blonde.
Are you talking about a real beard?
You have a beard going on right now?
I do have a beard going on right now. A bit of a beard, yeah.
He's standing his inner Viking.
I just, I don't shave for a week or two and I have a beard.
Wow. He doesn't shave for like four hours, guys, and he has a fucking beard.
It takes me, it takes, I've actually only grown, like I've only grown a long beard like once in my life, I think.
It was like down past, it took me six months and it was a little bit past my collarbones
and that's about all I could handle.
It just got too fucking much.
Starts getting fucking birds nesting in it and shit.
I'm adding it to the list.
Get the fuck out of here with the list.
My grievance and gratitude.
It's like that scene out of the Santa Claus with Tim Allen
when he shaves his beard in the mirror
and right away he has a five o'clock shadow again.
What's this list you're talking about?
Oh, my grievance. It's my grievances and my gratitude lists.
Cause she thinks like some of the, she thinks the shit I say is funny.
So she's creating this grievance and gratitude list.
It's actually pretty funny.
So I'm not going to share it, but what the gist of it is.
Well, like some of it would read awful.
Like if you didn't get my humor, it would like, it might sound fucking terrible. Yeah. I'm not sharing. I'm not sharing publicly, but it's, uh, it's, it's,
it's, uh, separated into two sections, right? So there's his grievances, which are, he'll be like
telling me some shit. And I'm like, tell me how you really feel. And I'm like, okay, I'm adding
this to the list. And I keep saying I'm adding this to the list. And I actually started a list
in my notes. So it's grievances, all of his grievances, everything he's ever said to me that he has
a grievance about is on the list.
And then also I've noticed that he says really interesting things.
Like I always want to know what comes out of his mouth next because he says shit like
in the pocket, such a card, something about a hat rack.
I don't know, like weird things. And I'm like,
I don't know what that means. So I have to ask him, what the fuck does this mean? So all of
those things are going on the list. So I just added the hinge of binge and the beard to the list.
Yeah, I'm gonna say like a lot, all three of those things you just said,
they're like very Canadian things. So I yeah yeah like i knew exactly what you meant when you
said yeah silly goose she wrote down silly goose too because apparently she never heard that what
yes yeah oh my god but it's something funny that you say okay that's something countrywide we've
all heard silly goose okay if i were to say if i were that's not relegated to provinces no
kara if i were to say i'm going for a rip what would you think i'm saying
i have no idea what that means we're getting high are you going to the bathroom no i'm gonna go for
a rip you want to you want to go for a rip bud yeah go for a drive that means you're gonna go
for a drive yeah oh jeez go for a rip are you bud yeah just out for a rip, are you, bud? Yeah, just out for a rip, you know?
Just hop in the truck, go for a rip.
So it must be a Canadian thing then.
There's not much else to do but hit the dirt roads and go for a rip.
Do you know what a whippersnipper is?
Yeah, it's a weed whacker.
Yeah, there you go, there you go.
Yeah, so they call them different.
So look, my husband's from Iowa.
How about a Caesar? It's weird shit. Do you know what a Caesar So, yeah, they call them different. So, look, my husband's from Iowa. How about a Caesar?
Do you know what a Caesar is?
A Caesar is a Canadian drink that's like...
And usually if you go to the bar, it comes with like a stack of food on it.
Pepperonis and little fucking burgers.
Oh, so is it like a Bloody Mary?
Yeah, but it's way more delicious.
You got to get the Tabasco sauce in it.
Is that a drink or a meal?
It's kind of both, yeah. It's a drink that also functions as a meal
the best drinks are the kind of drinks it keeps you warm and build your belly on them cold
canadian nights you know it's crazy like any and like every bar is trying to outdo the other bar
with like the fucking top caesar with like burgers and like with burgers and basically a full platter. Ours comes with a 12-ounce porterhouse on top.
Yo, give me one of those.
Oh, yeah, and there's got to be a pickled bean.
Yes, I was just going to say, give me one of those pickled spicy beans.
Give me one of those pickled beans, yeah.
Spicy beans are where it's at.
So, Jules, I feel comfortable sharing just a couple that this is not a big deal right but
a couple of funny ones yeah yeah so the other so a couple other ones i have are smooth brain
oh yeah there's definitely a lot of brains yeah you've never heard smooth brain never heard that
oh my god i swear we're cut from the same cloth over here that's not canadian that's that's
universal it's like how do i insult people without being super mean you know what i mean yeah they I swear we're cut from the same cloth over here. That's not Canadian. That's universal.
It's like, how do I insult people without being super mean?
You know what I mean? Yeah, they have a...
That's pretty mean, actually.
That's actually pretty mean.
But usually the smooth-brained person doesn't get it.
Oh, do you ever call someone a window licker?
I call window licker for sure.
I'm so sorry. I've for sure. I'm so sorry.
The other one I have is Odd Duck.
I've never heard Odd Duck.
I knew what it meant, but I was like, huh?
Wow. I'm actually impressed, I knew what it meant, but I was like, huh? Wow.
I'm actually impressed that you've never heard that.
I mean, for real, nobody's ever called you an odd duck.
I mean, I've probably heard it a couple times.
No, I've never heard that.
I mean, look, I'm not, I grew up in Jersey.
Like, I'm not, I know things, but I've never heard that.
I guess they're a little more blunt they don't really you know couch the language in jersey yeah the other one is such such a card i was like what the fuck does that mean oh my god i say that
all the time i'm cracking up maybe canadians maybe all canad Canadians are just Texans. I don't know. Maybe.
I'm just saying. Yeah, Alberta
Well, anyway, Jules has a lot
of interesting expressions that
and some of them I forgot. There's so many more that I need to add to the list so stay
tuned alright so I really like the one I made up today yeah so that one actually
let me get to that one that one is I'm not but that was it was it was it's
vulgar I'm not gonna lie it's a little bit vulgar. Do I have permission to share?
The grievance and gratitude?
The one that you made up today.
Fuck them bitches, but thank God for those hoes.
Yeah, grievance and gratitude.
I think that's hilarious.
But the best part of that is it's a grievance and a gratitude all in the same thing. It's on the ground.
Kind of covers everybody you know ridiculous
that's my favorite i love it i love it he says so many interesting things like i'll just pop
into his spaces sometimes because i just want to hear what he's saying you know you never know
what he's going to say next oh you, you walked into a rant that time.
But you say interesting things.
So I'm happy to listen and hear it.
All right, so let's keep this thing moving.
So hey, Slim is back with a hand up.
the real slim we're up yeah we're gonna play a track from rocky next but I want
to check in cuz you got your hand up Slim. Oh, Rob's up here. What's up, Rob? Hey, Rob.
I'm tripping because Slim is my buddy.
He's right outside my door.
a week or two ago and ran
out of here where I am right now. You know, if you got
two phones in the same place, it don't work right.
but he can't find the fucking...
Hey, what's up, baby? How you doing?
We're just chilling, how are you?
I'm great man, I'm just over here chilling and turning up with my big brother Rob Nichols.
You know what I'm saying? For his birthday and anything like that.
Say what? It's his birthday?
It is, it is. We've been celebrating.
Oh my god, happy birthday!
Another lap around the sun. Happy birthday, Rob.
You getting ready to do something for us?
I know because I'm ready to rock.
If y'all ain't ready, I'm...
Hey, man, you already know what it is with us, big bros.
Yes, I do have something that I do want to play just because it's...
In conjunction with everything that my big bro is, he is hip-hop. He is the whole spectrum of what it is to be love and in this music and entertaining industry and everything that he's bringing to the table, especially as the founder, creator of IMU TV.
You know what I'm saying? So I just want to place something in dedication of him for his birthday
Well, yeah, go for it and then after that we'll check in with Rocky
Yeah, boss, boss talk, let's go. Here to set the record straight, only way I know how I'll iterate and eliminate
All wack rappers who irritate, disintegrate I am not a mercy king so you peasants don't get a break
Boss life ENT, big launches on the way Burning through a speaker near you, the fire blade
The top of the seated care bill, dollars being made still All I wantin' is a fortune, you keep the fame

Make sure that y'all pay attention to it, tap into it, groove to it, listen.
Hip-hop never died, it's in everything that I'm spitting.
As long as I'm alive, I ain't making sure that it's living.
Appropriately applying the powers of my position, empowering what I vision, devouring competition.
Survival mechanism residing in murder-mitting, my mind is that of a prison of knowledge of what is written.
I sponge it and embrace it and mix it all in my lyrics
But you gotta be here to feel the hot in your spirit
I'm bringing back the essence, its presence is such a blessing
It stresses and manifesting with tests involving lessons
Approach me with discretion, my thoughts are getting breakfast
They may cost you your breath if I use them in your business
And I'm speaking that literal
Due to the fact you inferior on a stereo when I'm leaking material
Boss life, I'm the general, living life with a criminal
Floss ice for the vegetable, taking over this digital
I encourage you, fall back for I murder you
I'm known for spitting surgical, hurting you with a verse or two
Without cursing tools, explaining that I'm versatile
Lyrical historian, and no one ever heard of you
I saw travel vertical, opposite of down
Planet midwest, representing Motown
Seven miles to be allowed, rolling dust, goofed aloud, if you really feelin' this hip hop, then say it loud
Hip-hop never died, it's in everything that I'm spittin'
Hip-hop never died, it's in everything that I'm spittin'
Hip-hop never died, it's in everything that I'm spittin'
I've seen everything that I'm spitting.
And that's all I got to do for tonight, man.
Bing-bang. Bing-bang. Thank you for even having me and
The only reason why I know y'all is because of my big bro and due to the fact that it's his birthday today and
This is why I know y'all is because of my big bro and due to the fact that it's his birthday today
And I told y'all the last time that I was gonna be on here that I'm gonna keep messing with y'all
You know what I'm saying?
Like I vibe with y'all. Y'all are a great community and I'm here for it.
You know what I'm saying?
And since my big bro put me up on y'all and you know what I'm saying?
I'm gonna just keep coming with it. You know what I'm saying?
Because it is what it is.
And I'ma just end it with that.
Shout out to my big bro, man.
And I love everybody that you lace my tennis shoes to
so I can just hit the ground and start running with all of these beautiful
Communities, bro, like real talk man
That's awesome you go. Thank you everybody in there, you know, so whenever it comes to my time
During that, I actually text Kara on the back end.
I said, these guys are wholesome as fuck.
Like, the energy that Rob and some of the people you've inspired that you bring around, man.
It's always a pleasure, man.
I appreciate you coming by because we haven't connected much.
You know, Kara's got me out here.
So, man, it's good to see you again.
Appreciate you bringing some hip-hop vibes through
and putting some good energy on us, man.
We still need you for that.
Well, you know, you got the track in hand.
I just got to go ahead and we got to finish it on out.
So whenever y'all ready to put me in the queue,
I'm ready to do my thing too, you heard?
We're going to check in with Rocky first, though.
He's been up here for a minute.
Oh, look at him trying to do the comedian accent guys that's hilarious
he's listening though fuck what's what's up rocky what's up yeah i am uh it's been an annoying
fucking day um but i'm all right um literally getting ready to to leave work now like literally
um about to get ready to go clock out.
But yeah, I've been chilling, listening to y'all
and laughing in the background with y'all
Canadian sayings and the list
out to the homie Rob, man.
It's crazy because I literally
my god did he have a birthday last year too?
that's like yesterday man I don't even feel like it's been a year like it's crazy bro
but shout out to the homie Rob man you know more blessings more life and all that good stuff you know
and as always Cara stuff, you know. And as always, Cara, I sent you 1,500 songs.
You sent me, yeah, you sent me.
Yeah, so good luck with picking out of the bunch.
A bunch of little row-rows.
It's a bunch of little row-row music, you know, I'm saying so have fun. Oh
What am I supposed to do Thank you so much for the music as I look at this.
We have Okay, You're Right.
What do the Canadians have to say?
I missed the names because I had the Jeopardy team playing.
We have Okay, You're Right.
can't date you and then we have shoddy my homie yeah yeah you're just gonna have the big one
And then we have Shoddy, My Homie.
okay um all right i'm going with the shoddy one shoddy my homie which one is this
yeah that's that's what i would pick yeah that is that is actually, so I did that record, I want to say I was 16.
That's from a mixtape called Ladies Man.
Ladies Man is on streaming platforms, but that song is not on the mixtape that you can stream
because it's an instrumental and I don't have the rights to the instrumental.
Originally, it was on Dat Piff
and Dat Piff is gone now.
So yeah, you can't hear this song anywhere,
unfortunately, unless you're at Drop the Mic.
So this is a little Roro track,
which the name was given in a space, drop the mic,
maybe like a month or two ago.
And that was all Thanos, but it stuck.
The shard of my homie. Snap me out of me Even if it's five in the morning
If I got stuff to work in
Like a soldier Don't you home like a soldier, like a soldier, but she not.
Don't you worry bout a thing, baby, because I got you.
And I'm not concerned with a lady who is not you.
Fuckin' around with my lady is not cool.
So if we go down to 380, I'm hot fools.
Let a nigga come near you, I swear, boo.
I do the dirt, don't care if it's in clear blue
Daytime, I do the crime and pay the time, cause I'ma like a soldier, like a soldier, but you have a
short rail, but I bet I'm bad, but you're my only, oh, oh.
Now I don't like to be violent, but I see you crying then I straighten that shit out using the iron butt
Off the violent shit, let's talk in general I said I'd go hard like a soldier and you my general
If you're horny and whatnot, I'll get into you
What you think generals are for? My views? Nah, they useful and I know how to use them well
Doing it well while listening to LL
When we just have in the moment, I'll be working over, over
If I got to pull girl, she my homie
I don't really care if it's late
Cause I don't need no sleep, girl
My blowing is fucking crazy
And it's all for you girl
You don't know what I would do
If you catch what I'm saying
I'll be working over, over.
If I got the pool working, I'll go home like a soldier, like a soldier.
But I got her back like she's my only.
I got a bag like you're my home, yeah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I can so much touch your mind Shawty My little babe
Bing bong Awesome. I love that song.
You know what's fucking funny, man?
Rocky, I ain't gonna hold you, man.
Like, before I heard this song, I actually, like, kind of felt bad they were calling you Lil Roro, but now you're Lil Roro for life now.
But no, I didn't expect that.
That was actually, I mean, you got some auto-tune there,
but like your voice was still smooth under the auto-tune,
Definitely a different vibe, having
haven't heard something like that from you before.
But yeah, no, like that's funny, though,
because I didn't know why they were calling you Little Roro
and shit, but that track kind of just kind of seals it up.
No, I appreciate it. I just like, that's a lot of the, like when I was younger, I did
a lot of the hip hop slash R&B. I hate autotune but it's like, I just do it to, you know,
Yeah, you used it as an effect. You didn't use it as a cover.
I appreciate that. That's how it should be.
I know how to use autotune.
I still couldn't make myself sound like that. You still have to be able to do that.
All right, we're going to check in with Joseph.
Hey, Joseph, how you doing?
I'm tired. I'm good, but I'm good but i'm tired late for you why are you up
so late uh i just got in my did a show tonight and you know about 150 people at least oh wow

of course you're always working.
Got to keep everybody happy and everybody up to date with everything that's going on.
So, Joseph, tell me once again how to spell Maya's name.
I'm trying to look her up on Spotify.
Alright, this is Maya Tejan
And this song is called We Can
And you can find it on Spotify
And all other streaming platforms.
Streaming live on IMU TV.
How's the sound? Is it good? Give me a thumbs up.
Okay. I wonder when you're coming back, cause I don't wanna be alone, cause I know
That can't nobody love you like I can, make you wanna get away and drive for the weekend
Can't nobody do it like we can, like we can
Can't nobody love you like I can, make you wanna get away and drop on a weekend Can't nobody do it like we can
I can't go a day without your love
Everything I need to say in touch
Feeling nothing's ever been so clear
I just wanna say I've had enough
That I know the deaths would be so tough
I'm just really wishing you were here
We let go of the past and our burdens
And everything feels like home
Wasn't easy to start it all over
Can't nobody love you like I can
Make you wanna get away and drive for the weekend
Can't nobody do it like we can, like we can We can't make you wanna get away and drive for the weekend.
Can't nobody do it like we can, like we can.
Can't nobody love you like I can, make you wanna get so much by Maya.
Joseph, thanks for coming through.
We've got more coming down the pipeline very soon.
We're ready and waiting, Joseph.
She just did one with Thanos, too.
It's really good, actually.
Yeah, that's a really great song.
All of her songs are bangers.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, because that's Maya.
If you want to see her video right now, it is only streaming exclusively right now on IMU TV.
Thank you, brother Joseph. I love you, brother.
Well, let's keep this thing moving.
I think we'll probably just do one last round.
So, Jen, you want to do another one?
This will be a little different.
I'm just going to maybe play some little harmonies on something I already recorded so we'll see how it goes. Lay a whisper on my pillow Leave the winter on the ground lonely, stare of silence in the bedroom and all around.
Touch me now, I close my eyes, dream away
From the moment we touched, till the time had run out
Thank you. By your heart But in and outside
It must have been love, but it's over now
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow It was surreal
From the moment we touched
Till the time had run out It must have been love, but it's over now.
It must have been good, but I lost it somehow
It must have been love, but it's over now
From the moment we touched, till the time had run out Oh, my God. bing bong jen that was beautiful girl oh my gosh i love the harmonies
i don't have uh lauren here to do it for me so i have to do it myself oh it's so pretty
it was so beautiful i loved it so much i was uh in my bedroom i have my little my little
yorkie with me and i was holding him and i was dancing with him and we're cuddling to your
Well, so long as he's happy.
He was very happy with that
So, Rob. Yes, Rob, what you got, man? what do you want i'm ready look now the song that i did for y'all last week i know it came out like it didn't give you the love last week you
heard my voice but you couldn't hear the music and i realized because x just isn't like the good
shit it just doesn't like it so here i am now i'm gonna this, I'm hoping it's going to be better because I'm going to have the
speaker right here in front of me.
And it's me, the music, and everything.
And I hope it sounds so much
better tonight. Is that cool?
Yeah, man. Go for it. I'd love to hear you.
Let's check it out. Hopefully.
Let me know if this music is too loud.
Let me know if it's too loud.
Okay, I think we're gonna rock it like that then.
Swamp Nichols. Uh-huh, uh-huh Let's get it It's Rob Nichols
And despite the uncertainties alone
That bring the drama bad to take
It makes you seem the worst tomorrow
Sad, they have to say the most part of the day
With dramas when it's time to grow up
And stop depending on your mama
Distractions for endless friends they witness
Keep minding your business
Cause they don't know us They don't control us and we don't know them to
um uh no bluffing it's us against the whirlwind family homes girlfriend they teach the world
twirling toward future hurling but sometimes it's overwhelming for some of us to let the world in
it's scary that's like merlin fall down pieces to help you up because you're hurting relationship
was worth it off the death of not enough to help them go around.
But other days, it's everywhere to be found.
Sit back and try to comprehend the things that life is putting us through.
A lot of pain, so we aim to see the game and live with righteous truths.
Sometimes we go out.'re all in the same place
The importance of the people we give people
Into the doors of their life can be an equal, never secret
More of a C no small as we know
This whole facade of snowballs in Avalanche, so they were steep slopes
Yeah, and we gon' take it with time
Hold on to the second, I'm gon' take it with his mind
Hard times are less than you just take them inside
Hard time to shine, I'm the savior, place his mind Hard times the blessings you should take him inside Hard time to shine I'm the savior places line
Sometimes all then sometimes none Sometimes we wanna have a ball
Sometimes we don't wanna have fun Sometimes not at all part of us
Some but sometimes the one Sometimes the moon
Most times the sun Most times on the moon
Sometimes on the run But some days they prove
Then some, that's where the shoulder from refrain
You truly praise the rich one
Sometimes we all need to just melt their hands
Tell them friends, some support and encourage me too
Sometimes we all need to just sit back and try to comprehend the things that life is putting us through
Sometimes we all need to just sit back and try to comprehend the things that life is putting us through
Sometimes we all need to just sit back and try to comprehend the things that life is putting us through
Sometimes we all need to just think of our hands or anything that we live with righteous is true
Sometimes we hope there, yeah
Sometimes we all need to just sit back and try to comprehend this thing together sometimes we're
gonna need some help sometimes you're gonna need to give some help don't ever be afraid to ask for
it this is what we do in this life rob nichols caramia my man jules let's go we doing it live
drop the mic have a good time let's go thank you much
oh my god rob i love your fucking energy oh that was amazing.
I'm so happy we could hear you clearly on this one.
Oh, my God, hearing you come through.
Dude, that energy was such a vibe, man.
We've been rocking so long, man.
We've been rocking so long.
And I know last week it didn't come through.
So I was like, you know what?
This week I've got to make it happen.
So you will see me here. I'm so happy you did.
And we wish to come back in the artist mode. You know, I build so much all of the time for the company and the brand. Last week it didn't come through, so I was like, you know what, this week I've got to make it happen. So you will see me here every week.
I'm back in the artist mode.
I build so much all of the time for the company and the brand and for the artists that are on and doing what we do.
But now it's my time to get back and do what I do with y'all, you know?
Thank you so much for coming through and playing that for us, Rob.
It's so good to actually hear you.
That was fucking bomb, man. It's so good to actually hear you. That was fucking bomb, man. It was so
good. Yeah, you know, Rob, I love that old school flavor you're bringing to the table, man. A lot
of fire behind that. Appreciate you. A lot of fire. Let's go. Bing bong. Bing bong.
Appreciate you coming through.
I mean, I'm not like huge on, like I ain't your mom, you know what I mean?
I'm not going to bake you a cake or nothing for like, but you know,
the birthdays, I'm not a huge celebrator,
but someone came through and said it was your birthday.
So big ups, man. Appreciate you coming through.
The old school vibes I love for sure.
But yeah, happy birthday, man. I hope it was a good one
for you. Thank you all for
putting this on, continuously putting it on
for the artists and the music makers, so
that everybody can shine.
I truly appreciate y'all.
back. I'm going to be on the DMs, man. We got to go
ahead and finish that on up, you know?
Are you talking about that blues joint?
Yeah, we'll chat about that.
I was just adding to the list.
I am not your mom, and I'm going to bake you a cake or nothing.
Yeah. You know, it's, it's funny because like, I know on accident spaces, it's like,
it's like a big, like we acknowledge birthdays, like, but I've just never,
I'm not like a hallmark person. I've never been big on birthdays. So I just,
you know, I'm like trying to, you know, I'm not trying to, I'm trying to be comfortable with it,
but yeah, I'm definitely not gonna bake a cake
You gotta get your birthday is March
32. Okay, you see you don't have it.
March 32nd? You don't have it. That's perfect.
I know it. I know it. I know you're fucking
Aries or Taurus. I don't know.
bake you a cake, but happy birthday. That was
fucking bomb. I loved it. Appreciate
the energy, Rob. I hope you come back
because I love having you in this space.
at 8. You know this. So please, please
come back and share more with us, Rob, because you are such incredible energy.
I'm in your hip pocket now, Carol.
Danger Devin, do you have another one for us?
Why the hell not? No not it's so late here
um all right i haven't done this one in a long time i'm gonna try Say something, I'm giving up on you.
I'll be the one if you want me to.
Anywhere I would have followed you Say something I'm giving up on you
And I am feeling so small
And I will stumble and fall I'm a landfall I'm still learning to love
Say something I'm giving that I couldn't get you
Anywhere I would have followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something I'm giving up on you All right! Yes!
Devin, I love that track on you, man.
That is fire coming out of your soul.
You know, we're used to you screaming at us in the best of ways.
And to hear you play a song like that, it took me back a little bit.
I really like that side of you as well, man.
Wait till you hear his fucking Christmas song original.
It's going to blow your mind.
That song, actually, it's wild.
He's got so many facets as a guitar player and a singer, for sure.
And I thought I was going to get the parody version of that one tonight,
but that was great, Danger.
I know what you're talking about, Jules.
It's not Dick in a Box, is it?
No, he does a parody of that song he just did And it's just like
Instead of say something I'm giving up on you
It's post something and I'll reply to you
And it's a song about posting on X
I call it the reply guy anthem
I was like oh he's actually doing the emotional one
Devon I love that song on you And I was like, okay. Yeah. Devin, I love that song on you.
You have a very powerful voice, which I love.
And you have a lot of, I want to say like grunge and like rasp to your voice, right?
And I love that about you.
And you yell at us and it's so fucking killer.
But then you do like these soft songs and they're just so beautiful and that one.
And look, I'll never forget the time last, it was like a year ago. I was in a space with you
and you pulled up to a seven 11 and you just acapella fucking Ave Maria. And I was like,
whoa, where the fuck did that just come from that was incredible like you are
versatile and you have range and you're just you're so amazing devon i love you so much man
oh thanks cara i love you guys too and yeah it's i don't know it's just fun it's fun to make music
and like well the full story of that is like it was about i think it was almost one o'clock in
the morning here my time and i was just running to 7-eleven to grab a story of that is like it was about I think it was almost one o'clock in the morning here, my time.
And I was just running to 7-Eleven to grab a pack of smokes.
And like there was some kind of like homely looking dude like hanging around outside.
It didn't look like he was looking for money, but he was looking to do something.
So I was just like I just started singing as I walked over and he like took off running.
and his eyes got all huge
and he just like turned around
It's ridiculous,'s it was amazing uh you singing Ave Maria is incredible there was another time I think that you were um so I know you do uh forgive me it's like construction and and stuff
right so you were like in a spot right that was um like hollowed out like a room or something i was in the basement of a
bank underneath the vault yes yes and you had all the echo the reverb in that place was insane it
was like a chapel yes he sang ave maria and he echoed off all the walls in that spa and it was incredible. It was fucking incredible.
Actually, it might be a Circle K.
You know what's funny is,
so AJ, my husband, he's from Iowa,
Sioux city. And, uh, when we went out there, I went out there for like the first time to visit
years and years ago, but they have all these little spots, right? And the one,
the one gas station, that's like a stop and shop kind of place where you can go get gas and you
can go and you can buy like alcohol, which is not something that exists here in jersey it's called a fucking come and go come and go and it's spelled
c-u-m-k-u-m-k-u-m okay thank you thank you jen thank you come and go i was like what though the
worst thing is so circle k they have two but Come and Go got, they changed it.
It's not Come and Go anymore.
It's a total disappointment.
There's an automotive shop in Saskatoon called Cuntz Automotive,
It's the guy's last name. Is it K-U-N-T-Z?
It's just K-U-N-T-Z, right?
So anyway, but I had to stop in there to get some work done.
That was your Canada just slipped out so hard with your Z.
It's so terrible, and you had to post a huge billboard outside of your shop that's on the side of the road that's like, you know,
it just says that we're terribly loud across. It's it's yeah that's worse than come and go not gonna lie
yeah come and go is pretty bad though too it's pretty bad it's pretty bad but yeah but when you
left kara did you leave satisfied no oh no i was i was able to buy beer there
and I was like this is amazing
we don't have gas stations here where you can buy beer
in Pennsylvania so non-existent
I guess I was satisfied Devin thank you
alright guys we are going to close this
And the first person I think should play us out is Rabbit.
You guys play the beautiful live songs after I play this trash, please.
Well, no, because I'm not going to sing anymore tonight.
I'm going to play a track.
No, you guys are hit. You play your tracks and I'll play us out. Yeah, So we'll do a... You guys are hit. You guys... Okay. No, you guys are hit.
You play your tracks and I'll play us out.
All right, Jules, you go.
You were asking for tracks that you haven't really heard.
So I'm going to play you another one of my least favorite ones.
But this is also probably something you may or may not have heard and most people haven't anyway.
Because why not if Rocky's in here playing songs from 16 that I should be able to play
How long is this one? Oh, they're both the same
Yeah, let's do this one. This one is like
What the fuck? Why won't it play?
Oh, never mind. I'm J, man.
I'm tired of the rap race.
I don't believe that we've gone from primates.
But when I awake, I am innate.
You know I ain't playing with that lame ass.
And you ain't packing the same way.
I'm attacking your brain with creative arrangements, rain from the brain of the basement
I'll be back and forth, pacing, contemplating what I'm saying
Before I lay it onto the page, step in the booth and want to take it
Ain't no way to make it without haters in this life
Head faking with the mic, leave them faded with the writing
Man, there ain't no time for fighting, for the state of mind that I'm in
Shine minus the diamonds, got no time for the violence
I'm climbing over the outer mind, and finally realizing there ain't no weakness and kindness, man.
You wish to get rhymed this way.
MC's getting slayed when they hit him with the change.
Getting slayed when they hit him with the change.
Gotta be the change I wanna see in this game.
MC's getting slayed when they hit him with the change.
Getting slayed when they hit him with the change. This game's slain when I hit him with the,
You can see he's getting slain.
Gotta be the change you wanna see in this game.
Keep the second one, you know.
I've been high the coast, the coast is off and low, honey, babe.
So who you know would go and put a city first like this?
Name a singer who would go and spit a verse like this.
I'm on a perch like this, I've seen the worst like this.
But still I got the herd off the edge of the earth like this.
You wanna change the way you feel, better change the way you think. Gotta change the way you eat me, change the way you drink.
I've been on the brink, washing wallows down the sink.
Too much drowning in my sorrows, feeling borrowed, I don't blink.
Then flash, it was all gone in an instant.
And who I thought I was, just could not have been persistent.
Path of least resistance, still question my existence.
Glass me off of this rock or shit, I fit the difference. I said, although the clouds been falling, path of least resistance Still question my existence, blast me off of this rock or shit
I feel the difference, I stayed on for the clouds
Been falling to drops of liquid
Spread far as eyes can see, till I hit my limits
My vision vivid, but my indecision would be the death of me
If I could leave, it's got me living
MC's getting slayed when I hit him with the change
Getting slayed when I hit him with the, hit him with the change
MC's getting slayed, gotta's the second what we know. I love that.
That was you on that track, right?
Why do you not like playing that?
Oh, that's not me singing.
That's me rapping and then doing...
I rap and then do the first part of the hook.
There's an R&B style singer friend of mine.
Yeah, don't ever be like, I don't like playing this shit, because that shit was fucking hot.
Yeah, that's an older joint.
Yeah, that was, you know, it's not that, like, I don't hate that one.
It's just an older song, I guess.
So it's not like, yeah, it's just something that I probably definitely don't play as. I don't even know if I played it. Yeah, that one's, you know, it's not that, like, I don't hate that one. It's just an older song, I guess. So it's not like, yeah, it's just something that I probably definitely don't play as,
I don't even know if I play it.
You should play that more often.
That song was so, I was vibing to that, man.
Please, please continue to play your songs.
Like, they need to be heard.
I just make them just to have them.
You need to make them to be heard.
So here you are hosting the space with me,
and you have this opportunity to share your music with everybody every Thursday.
That was fucking amazing, Jules.
You want to say something?
To reiterate on that, that was, I'm talking about, yes, that was fucking, I'm talking about with the most emphasis that you can fucking imagine.
Imagine that was fucking amazing, bro
That was fucking amazing, bro.
And it made me like be motivated to see if I could raise my hand to maybe
Song that'll probably be a good follow-up for it. Maybe if it's space enough, you know, I ain't trying to you know saying
Okay, cuz this this song that like what he made me want to play is a song that's called Came Too Far
from an EP that I actually did some years ago.
And my EP is actually called Came Too Far.
And this was like the single of it,
like a self-titled single if you will whatever
and he i don't know he just he just did something to my to my soul and my spirit of my music and
it was like oh shit that was cold and i i want to follow up with something if i can
yeah go for it yeah you got it yeah man absolutely appreciate appreciate man. Absolutely. Appreciate the kind of words, though, bro.
I appreciate the respect.
Let me open back up my damn tablet real quick so I can do it. I done came too far with a little life stopping right now
It's not that it's nonsense, I'm talking real progress
Being pro does something to the soul
It's making these colder the way it's gonna be
It's not that it's nonsense, I'm talking real progress Keep that shit constant
Being pro does something to the soul
It's making it colder, the world on my shoulders still standing tall, we'll never fold
Only going harder for the days and the struggle when I couldn't make it double
Try to get a couple dollars, only got myself in trouble with the law
On the run, the bank reported a fraud, shit
I just need a sock, send some drawers
Yards in the store where they wear uniforms.
And I need transportation to get her back and forth.
Quick, my damn motor's blown, so I'm back on my feet.

My sins got me focused on my will
Niggas lucky that I'm all they got left

If it ain't about to pay, then it ain't no way
That's a message to my kids, royalties get paid

And call up them bitches, take a minute talking
Alright! I appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you, man. Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah, that was dope, dude, man. I appreciate the kind words that I inspired you to come
up for another joint, man. That was dope. And we're like, you know, it's, you know,
we get a lot of live music in here i love listening to these guitar players and and singer songwriters and stuff but um you know we like to
to mix it up it's like it's good to have the hip-hop heads coming through too you know and
like a lot of my stuff is hip-hop but like you know you hear carol like i kind of like just
wanted to like chill and listen because it's like there's a lot of amazing singer songwriters you
know what i mean and it's different to just like play a hip-hop track But so I so I appreciate some some more hip-hoppers coming through
Yeah, most definitely man
And I thank y'all for like opening up the
Spectrum you know I'm saying for for every type of artist to even be on the same type of platform
Even though it may be like like you said, you know saying I'm saying, guitar, acoustic, more so, you know what I'm saying, singing acapello or just covers, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, you know, and poets, some spoken word, like, you know, totally open to whatever kind of,
you know, if you have an expressive art that you can do vocally or, you know what I mean,
then absolutely, it's welcome for sure.
Or like, you know, whatever.
Right, right, it's from D.
Yeah, indeed. And you know what i mean yeah indeed
and and you know what i'm meet me as an artist i'm kind of like versatile i'm more on uh like
the the versatility spectrum of everything like like right now you know saying like me working
with my big brother rob nichols and you know saying everything that we doing you know saying
we have a music nft coming out in a few days you know saying everything you know saying and uh
with imu tv we doing a lot of
things over there and then with me personally just on my own thing you know saying i own my own uh
uh record label you know saying and uh uh llc's and everything that i'm doing and i'm writing a
book you know i'm saying like a motivational type of you know saying spiritual dwelling type of book
you know what i'm saying for people to enlighten themselves you know saying to be on that you know
saying that that's why i love that i gained into the the the the community of the
protectors of the frequency and imutv with with my big brother rob you know what i'm saying that
it led me to meet all of you type of beautiful people you know saying that falls into the same
type of natural authenticity of of what's really supposed to be out here you know what i'm
saying and man i i love y'all you know what i'm saying so it is more it's more to me you know
what i'm saying so and just like i told her last you know saying the last time i was here when i
dropped uh my py t track you know saying the pretty young thing for the ladies you know i'm
saying i i just want y'all to just keep tuning in to me you know saying because i got any like any type of thing that you can think about in life i have a song for it i
promise you i do you know i'm saying but we're we're just going to keep gaining you know saying
i'm gonna keep coming in just like my big bro told y'all earlier you know saying every week
we are here every thursday i guarantee you we are here every single Thursday shouting y'all out, making other people come.
You know what I'm saying?
Like just motivating people to come.
You know what I'm saying?
Giving them the notion to tap inside themselves to say, well, shit, I'm not scared no more.
You know what I'm saying?
Because, you know, it'd be a lot of talented people out here but they're just not ready to you know say they have that stage fright or you know what i'm saying they
don't think that these spaces are for them you know what i'm saying because they don't know exactly
what to get from it man fuck all that jump into the space put your toes in the water if it's too
cold guess what you're gonna adapt because everybody's going to give you completely love.
Like, just y'all show me love.
You know what I'm saying?
I've been telling people that too.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I know artists that don't even have an X page.
You know what I'm saying?
But they want to be out here like that.
You know what I'm saying?
And it's like, bro, download X.
You know what I'm saying?
I'll start, you know what I you know saying showing you who to follow
and all of that and then once you start jumping in the spaces bro it's all love out here because
it's all positivity it's not it's not the spectrum of all of this other social media stuff where
people just be wanting to be uh debating and and always like combating with each other and it has
to be some type of conflict or something no it's
not about conflict it's all about spreading art spreading love spreading community and and and
existing together and and and infusing with each other and building and then creating something
better once we meet and create and and and infuse with each other like that's what it's about and
that's what i love about y'all and these spaces and everything. So I'm here for it. Like I said,
me and my big bro is going to be here every single week that y'all do this. Shout out to y'all.
Yo, man. Yeah, that was a big shout out, man. I, I, you know, I was, I was texting Carol on the
back end. Like I said, you guys are, you guys are wholesome as fuck. You bring a really solid energy.
You know, I'd known Rob Nichols a couple years out here.
He's always putting other people on and showing a lot of support
and helping other artists.
Like I said, you know, we're getting close to the end of the night here.
I'm getting a little tired, but much love, man.
Like that was really kind.
And you bring, like I said, you bring a great energy with you guys and it's much appreciated
so thank you i appreciate you i appreciate you man so hey good night to everyone much love to
everyone and matter of fact since he's not up as a speaker no more before y'all go out i don't want
to take too much of your time but in the words of my big brother, Rob, y'all know what his word is. Love. Spread the love at all times because that's what makes us.
So good night to everyone. Thanks for having me on here. And we will be back next week.
Peace and love and elevation and enlightenment. Oh, I love that so much. In the words of jewels,
my frequency is love. And I love it. And we love you too. Thank you so much. In the words of jewels, my frequency is love. And I love it.
The frequency so high only love can reach us.
I love everything about you, Slim.
Thank you so much for the shout out.
The space would not be anything without people like you.
The amazing talent that continues to roll through and support.
We appreciate so, so much.
So very much appreciate it.
There's enough hate in the world.
We don't got to bring it into fucking internet spaces.
No time for that fucking drama.
Reciprocation. Reciprocation at all times. Reciprocation. I love y'all, man. Thank you.
Thank you so much. That was amazing. I love that. We're ending it on a really high positive note.
I appreciate all of that. That was amazing. Amazing call outs.
All right. So I am going to run a track. It's not me. Uh, so this is a good plug. So next Thursday we'll be back at 8 PM EST, me and Jules, but Tim, uh, my boy, Tim,
he's going to be co-hosting. And I talked to Tim about this weeks ago. I was like, I have an idea.
I want to do like a fun comedy space where if people come through, look, you can all play whatever it is
that you want to play. Come through and share your music, your songs. It doesn't have to be
comedy focused, but if you do have some funny songs that you want to share, then share those
because Tim and I have been working on some stuff and he's a funny guy. So we're going to do a whole
comedy theme space. I have some Adam Sandler songs that I've worked on.
I have some other funny songs that I'm going to share.
He has funny songs that he's going to share.
So if anyone has anything funny that they want to come through and share,
then this is going to be the space for y'all to share that shit.
And it's going to be really fun, funny, lots of laughs, and good time.
I told you about it, yeah.
So when Tim came in I think last week before,
So we've been planning this for a bit. Yeah, he's funny.
That'll be great. Yeah, he is.
He cracks me up every single...
We talk every day. Oh man, that's great.
You learned some Adam Sandler songs.
I have one Adam Sandler song that I've been playing for a while that AJ loves.
And he's always like, play it.
And then I learned a new one.
So I have Ode to My Car that I've been doing for a bit.
Piece of shit car, you mean?
It's called Ode to My Car, but it's Piece of Shit Car.
The other song I learned is Lunch Lady Land.
I have another one up my sleeve.
But yeah, and I'll probably try to learn maybe like another one.
But I know that she's probably going to have some.
My mother was a lunch lady when that song came out.
And we irritated the shit out of her.
Even some Sandler karaoke would be funny.
Even some Sandler karaoke would be funny yes even some sandler karaoke yeah you
know like dennis leary asshole like anything there's so many different artists out there
that are doing funny songs and if anyone wants to cover that stuff if you want to learn something
danger's got a couple good parodies too yeah parody songs anything like that is what the space is going to be about next week.
Yeah, dude, Danger Death songs as Stewie Griffin, and he actually nails it.
I don't know how he does it.
That would be hilarious too.
So Devin, if you can make it next week, we would love you to come through at some point
I know you're busy. But if you can come through at some point if you can. No pressure. I know you're busy.
But if you can come through and do your Stewie Griffin impression with your songs, like this is the kind of shit that we're looking for for the comedy space next week.
I'll see what I can do, Kara.
Ask Stewie if we can borrow him for just a little while.
So that's the kind of stuff we're looking for, guys.
And if you don't have anything comical, you can come through and share whatever you want.
It's not going to be closed off.
So with that, the one thing that I want to do, because I can't sing anymore tonight.
My voice is kind of going.
My allergies are fucking me up.
I have a song from Tim, a cover.
It's my favorite cover that he does
that he posted on YouTube. And it's his cover of Don't You Forget About Me. And I just, I love this
song so much. I listened to it on repeat and I want to share it with y'all because it's just,
it's amazing. So this is Tim, the one I'm going to be co-hosting with next week. Tim Swayze.
His vocals are incredible.
Won't you come see about me? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Long, strange, surreal in the dark.
Think of the tender things we were working on.
Slow change, pull us apart.
When the light gets into your heart.
Don't you forget about me
Don't you forget about me.
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me
Put my weight or never love me, put my way, but never love me.
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling, down, down, down.
Call my name, or walk on by.
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Don't you try and pretend
It's my feeling ruining the end
I won't harm you I'll touch your defenses
Don't you forget about me
We're going to take you apart
I'll put us back together at heart
Don't you forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me
Will you walk on my name?
Will you walk on by? Oh that song always chokes me up. I love this version of that song so much. Bing bang. Bing
bang. Yeah I mean he's not here so'm not going to throw him too many flowers.
But, yeah, that was good.
It was a nice, easy listen, for sure.
So if you guys want more Tim, come back next week, Thursday, 8 p.m. EST.
And Tim will be here with me and Jules,
and we will be doing the funny, happy comedy space,
and you will get more of him and his amazing voice.
So with that, Rabbit, do you want to close us out with a live song yeah absolutely uh thank you guys for having me co-host with you
tonight i had a lot of fun there's a lot of brilliant minds and talent in here a lot of
connections being made it was cool um you know there's been so much hip-hop here at the tail end I'm kind of inspired to bust a rhyme.
So, you know, I'm just gonna bust this on the acoustic so I hope you guys enjoy. And sometimes that also don't shine me
In my window I prayed in the rain
And sometimes my life passes me by as the cold wind starts to blow. I can't complain
And when I used to get depressed, I cry, pray to the Lord.
Life's been nothing but a mess, I cannot take it no more.
So when it's my time, I pack my bags and never look back.
Please, so give me all my scissors, sit me next to my dad.
I got a whole lot to tell him, a lot that he missed.
I stop and look up to the sky and straight up blow him a kiss.
I know he's in bliss and have been watching over his kids
When he was gone I was mad fighting through him my fists
I never know where I was going, know where I'd be
My pain's steeper than the ocean, the whole lake and the sea
It's blatant deceit and life's hard in heaven you're free
My love goes to my past friends who died so young
Life's a dark path, cloudy, yo you tend to get spun
Half of us won't even get a chance of leaving the slums
We got a better chance collecting cans and beefing with guns
I'ma have to check y'all while I find peace in the sun
Cause I do it every day and I don't know why
Counting on but it's the best way to die
Ain't no reason, ain't no crime
I do it every day and I don't know why
No one make it if we try, try, try Gotta go to heaven cause we're never gonna die
Cause I do it every day and I don't know why I count on numbers
It's the best way to die, Ain't no reason, ain't no crime
I do it every day and I don't know why
I know I'll make it if we try, try, try
Gotta go to heaven cause we're never gonna die
It's an everlasting love I'm a fan of the The The
Yeah, that was super dope.
Your rhythm is impeccable for the flow that you put on that,
but the lyrics are really heavy, man.
So, fuck, yeah, that was really good, man.
Excellent, excellent song.
Really, really good. I love that song so much.
And I do it every day and I don't know why. Yeah, I love that song so much and i do it every day and i don't know why
yeah i love that part so much yeah you're so good dude and i love that the rap on the guitar like
that that's that's that was really good dude really good so good rabbit you're so talented
we appreciate you so much thank you so much for co-hosting tonight and for sharing that song.
I appreciate you guys, too.
And, you know, Jules, just to tell you, man, I've been real since day one.
And that's what rapping hip-hop to me is all about.
I appreciate you guys, too, the co-host, all the talent in the room,
all the love, all the listeners.
You know, it's been a great night here it has been a great night very fun night um always a pleasure cara thank you for
asking me to be a regular co-host since tony is doing his doctor living uh if he ever comes back
i will yeah he's not coming back he's not coming back all right wow he's not coming back
so it's like i said it's you it's you until you tell me to kick rocks so you know i will never
tell you to kick rocks i appreciate you jules thank you so much for doing this with me you
are the perfect fit for the space like you really are and i really i really do appreciate you very
very much so thank you for doing this with me and And when you can't do it anymore, just let me know.
You know, and I'll do it.
You know, I'll do what I was doing before.
But Jules is the perfect match for Drop the Mic, guys.
He is an amazing co-host.
He is a super, super talented producer.
Bing bong. He's got it all and he's humorous and when
he's not falling asleep in spaces he is legit. I'm teasing. Don't yell at me.
I'm not a yeller am I? Do I yell? No. No I'm just joking. It depends actually. Don't give me
shit. How about that? He's like, one time, one time I fell
One time I fell asleep. Okay, fuck.
color is danger. Everyone knows that.
Yeah, that's true. And that was actually
what was that? Wasn't it a Sunday
night? It was a Saturday night.
It was a Saturday night. Random
Saturday night space and it was like 1.30
in the morning. Come on. Yeah, it was 4 o'clock in the morning for me.
But you made it the whole time, and you were talking up until the time you passed out.
You said something, and then literally like 20 minutes passed, and I was like,
Hey, Jules, you're quiet.
I made the mistake of putting my head down on the couch for a few minutes that night.
Yeah, that's what happens.
I've done that in spaces too before.
I always say that to Stash because he'll text me and he'll be like, did you fall asleep?
And I don't respond because I always text him back and I say, I made the mistake of laying down in bed and I just closed my eyes for like a couple minutes,
and I just passed the fuck out.
There have been times where I've fallen asleep,
and I was like still holding my phone,
and my phone is like still on, and it's about to die.
Like I'm still in this basement closed.
It doesn't happen often, but it's happened a bunch.
This is actually probably one of the worst,
but I drove home from the oil. And they say that this was like a really bad thing to do like people die
leaving the oil rigs like after like a couple week shift of working 12 hour shifts or whatever like
you can crash going home anyway i drove all the way home after like i probably like a 19 day stint
or something like that um and i drove all the way home and then i had like i had this
like curb that i parked against because i was young at the time so i was still like i had was
renting this basement suite and i could park in a costco parking lot that was like right behind this
suite at the time i was like 19 or 20 years old or something like that at the time anyway i woke up
in my fucking truck the truck was running with the and it was in gear and just like bumped against the curb.
I had made it all the way home and into my,
but it was like bumped against the curb.
I must've fallen asleep for two,
three hours and like woke up in the car.
The truck was just like in gear,
kind of like bumped against the curb.
They tell you not to drive home cause you get sleepy,
but I made it all the way home and passed out. You it home and passed out oh my god quick question don't do that
quick question was the space you fell out in the one we were hosting till 4 a.m the pop-up
uh the other yes yeah i fell asleep the other night there on saturday yeah it was after you
left rabbit you're like i gotta go i'm tired and then you left and you're like, I got to go. I'm tired. And then you left. And literally like a half an hour later, Jules just fucking passed out.
You almost had our passed out rabbit there.
I usually don't host spaces that late.
But there have been times, especially last year when my husband was away, that I'd be up until all hours of the night,
sometimes until five, six, six o'clock in the morning.
It doesn't happen often anymore, but that, that was kind of like a rare,
rare thing, but I was having so much fun with you guys.
It was a great space. Yeah. So we did have a great space.
We had a good, we had a good time. Yeah.
And then Jules passed out and shortly that, I did close the space out.
I was like, it's probably time for me to shut it down.
He should probably go to sleep.
Jules did not fall asleep in spaces regularly, guys.
I'm really good at, like, even today.
This is late o'clock for me.
Because you go to bed at like 10.
And it's past your bedtime. So I'm going to let you go. No, no, no. No, it's great. No, this is late. This is late o'clock for me. I know because you go to bed at like 10 and it's past your bedtime.
So I'm going to let you go.
This is, I'm on the West Coast.
It's a, it's, it's been a pleasure as always, Kara.
Thank you so much, Jules.
Thank you, Jen and Devin and Salim and Pugs and all the people that joined the space. Appreciate
you so much. And everyone that came through again, the space would not be anything without all of you
and your support. I love all you guys so much. We will be back next Thursday at 8 PM EST with Tim
and Jules for the comedy space. Uh, tomorrow night, if y'all want to jump in, we'll be hosting Cardano Night's
open mic night at 8 p.m. EST with Flawed.
I will be joining late because
and some of you don't, I took a scare actor
role at the Bates Motel in Haunted Hayride
staff barbecue that is happening
tomorrow night at 6 that I'm going to
go to and I'm going to meet a whole bunch of
people that were casted to be part of this haunted attraction for the Halloween haunt season. So I'm looking
forward to that. I think it ends at nine. So I'll be tuning in probably like an hour late
on my way home. So you can catch me there. And then also there is XGT that happens, of course,
with Jonathan, DJ Doge tomorrow. And I think they're highlighting Zach tomorrow night too.
So everyone tap into that as well.
And we'll catch you next time.
