Oh my god, I'm like how do I turn this fucking music off?
Hey Wolf, you're the first one here.
Chris! Chris! hey pugs hello hello good people
what's up hey Jules Wolf what's up man howdy howdy are you saying that Why are you saying that? Why are you saying howdy? What's going on?
I don't know. Nothing. Just it's been a good day. Work was good. Closed a few deals today.
And I was like, cool. It's poetry and music and, you know, all the things.
Awesome. That's good to hear.
I'm great. Yeah, I'm doing good. I'm excited because I dropped the mic,
get to hang out with my favorite people, and had a decent day at work, gave a presentation
to some Japanese expats, and that was pretty cool. And tomorrow night is opening night at
the Bates Motel where I start my acting career. I was a scare actor. I was just talking to AJ. I
was like, I'm supposed to be working on character development and I have no idea what I'm doing. I have to think of a name for my character and
he just gave me a great name. I'm going to be sucky and I'm going to be crazy. Like, um, you
know, remember Bella Ticks Lestrange, sorry, Beatrix, no Beatrice, Beatrice Lestrange. Jesus,
my brain from Harry Potter. Yeah. So now she's all like wild and crazy and laughing?
I think I'm going to develop my character that way.
But I get to step into that shit tomorrow, so I'm excited.
That sounds like a lot of fun.
That's going to be so fun.
I'm just looking forward.
Yeah, I can't wait to see my makeup and my costume.
I got to leave around 4.15, get over there, get my makeup done, because the hayride time is at five i gotta leave around 4 15 get over
there get my makeup done because the hayride starts at six and then i'm in it acting crazy
and i didn't really look i didn't realize this guys don't judge me but aj was like you know what
a saloon girl is right and i was like no he's like it's a whore i was like i'm a whore i'm
gonna be a saloon whore it's great great! Crazy fucking whore! It's ridiculous!
Anyway, yeah, allegedly. So, what's up, pugs? Jules? How you guys doing?
What's haps? You're shortening things.
What's the haps on the craps?
I don't know what that means, but what's happening?
I gotta say, today was a good date.
No, that's a line from Ice Cube.
We're going to get to the wrap tonight.
You're going to wrap tonight?
I'd rather leave that for Jules.
He's the expert extraordinaire with that.
I'm trying to, for some reason, my computer won't hook up to the internet.
I'm trying to figure out why.
Did you turn it off and on again?
Technology is great, you know, when it wants to work.
He's probably got to, like, hook up the modem and do all the stuff.
You know, it's been a great day.
I volunteered at the Humane Society today with my granddaughter. You know, trying to find some forever homes for the fur babies.
One of my favorite volunteering events, my organization, I work for like a property casualty insurance company in the Philadelphia area, but I direct their social media channels.
A lot of the content that I create is based around
corporate and social responsibility so it's highlighting all of the volunteer
events and culture and things like that but my organization is very active in
the community and like volunteering is their like number one thing that they do
so we have volunteer events all the time and one of my most favorite ones to do
is the ones where we get to go over to like the ASPCA, you know, the shelter.
And like, you know, you get to play with the animals and, you know, help out and do stuff.
We make dog toys, which I love that event.
It's crafting toys out of like old T-shirts and stuff like that.
And it's so sad to go in there because you're like, all these animals need to be placed.
And I want to take all of you home with me, but I can't.
pugs. Oh my goodness. Hello, everyone. I see all of you guys. Thank you so much for joining us right away. We've only been open for a few minutes, but we're getting started. So if you
could kindly repost the space, we would very much appreciate that.
And I'm going to go ahead and send out some DMs.
Jules is trying to set up his internet and his connection and all that jazz.
Bing, bong, bing, bing, bing, bong.
Just a brief, brief lapse in time there.
Gotta have the bing bong stools.
I just went to the park, and honestly, I was like, trying to like sneak in a sneaky little fucking 15 minute nap.
It was like, I got home from the park and made some coffee, and I was like, also wait a minute they guys sneak in like a 20 minute nap here before the show
but yeah no I had a good day too it's actually still pretty hot here like we're
getting a little second summer here right now it's pretty warm so it's nice
day that's awesome how warm is it oh what is the temperature here it is 69 degrees. Oh, that's a good number.
I was so excited because I love it. Oh, that's hot.
Like 80s, no humidity, nice breeze.
I like t-shirts and shorts and flip-flops and anything below 80 degrees.
I'm like, ooh, it's cold.
But it's starting to get cool at night, which i don't care for because i know it's coming i know that that
cold weather is coming and i'm not here for it i love the fall i love halloween and all that stuff
but cold no so i'm sad i like an icy cold bedroom like oh no yeah i like that so you just freeze
well i mean i don't freeze freeze, but yeah, I like the
Do you have like a heated blanket or some shit?
If he likes the cold air, why is he going to have a heated blanket?
Some people are like that, you know?
They're like, I love it when it's really cold
and I just wrap myself up in these blankets.
I don't like the cold. I don't like shivering in my sleep.
That sucks. Anyway, to each his own, in these blankets. I don't like the cold. I don't like shivering in my sleep. That sucks.
Anyway, to each his own, that's fine.
You can like your coldness.
I don't like being so cold to where your body heat creates moisture.
It's called a cold sweat.
It sucks. You stick to your sheets. It's called a cold sweat. It's what it's called. It's a cold sweat. Yeah, it sucks.
You stick to your sheets.
Isn't that how the Fremen survive?
Yeah, if only Tim was here.
Isn't that how the Fremen survive in Dune?
Or, like, remember how they had the science where they wore a bodysuit and it recycled
the body's moisture to keep them hydrated in Dune. Anyone? I'll shut up now.
Can't say that I remember that. I've seen Dune like once so I don't know. Maybe. You could be
right. Who knows? All right guys. Well hold on one second. Hold on because I need to buy myself
some time. I'm going to send out some DMs and do some posts so please repost the space appreciate you. I'm gonna run a track right now Okay, okay, okay
I want this a void by Benny G
She agreed, it started singing to me
This is before the time I knew I was a hundred degrees
A time and we could dream under the tree tree
I probably quit when I'm 26 That's what she would say, on a perfect day
At 17 I wasn't in love with the rain Wasn't in love with the fame, she wasn't in love with my rage
I was under and over and I've never been in it with her
I saw the bigger picture, now looking back I could say 19, yeah, it wasn't the same
I'll just blame it on the jazz play
You tellin' me this puppy love, it ain't forever for me
And that's unheard of, yeah
Something I could never believe of
You tellin' me I'm gon' make all the million of me for me
And that's unheard of, yeah, baby, now they're 23
Sounds like we lost the feed there.
I don't know how, but they found me.
Hurry, hurry, come with me.
Of course this shit crashed on me.
Of course, of course it did.
Ugh. It's gonna do it again. I had to reconnect already. Literally 11 minutes in and this shit wants to crash.
Alright, we're gonna pick it up where I left off. Sorry about that. Yeah.
Something I could never believe.
You telling me I'm gonna call to me and know me for me. And that's unheard of. Oh You better know what you are Hey, y'all ain't ready for number one Hey, hold up
Hey, never need to play this bad
And I fade it, pop the cap
So I say, let's make it class B&B back to back
Like you, we let fall that bassin'
Me and Jay locked up for the ball, but I'm just gonna hold up
Hey, you tellin' me I'm gon' be everything I wanted and more
And that's a hold up, yeah
I believe it when you're touchin' the world, hey Then I wanted them all, then that's what I heard of, yeah
I believe it when you're touching the world, hey
Ho ho ho ho, hold up, hey
You telling me I'm gon' make all of me and don't be for me
Then that's what I heard of, yeah
Baby, now they're 23, yeah
I need that, wanted that, somebody deserve it All right, guys.
Do the space every Thursday night with my dear friend next to me, Jules.
And tonight we have with us my other dear friend, Pugs, guest co-hosting.
You can catch me every Thursday, 8 p.m. EST.
I think I just said that, but I'm just running around in circles right now
because I'm a little flustered that the space continues to crash on me.
Thank you for joining the space that crashes continuously.
I'm so happy to see all of your faces here.
If you would like a mic to come up and share some music with us
or, you know, rap or spoken word or tracks or whatever it is you want to do, please feel free to request that mic.
I'm going to shut up and let Jules and Pugs say something.
This is why I co-host these two
I'm just happy you're here bugs you know for the moral support
Ah me too. Yeah, guys. Thanks for having me good to be here
It's always good to have you
I'm eating super crispy grapes right now.
Can we talk about grape season for a sec?
Grapes make wine, so please.
I'm just eating some pretty good grapes.
Are they like cotton candy grapes?
Frozen grapes, they are pretty good, eh?
Frozen grapes, I've tried that.
No, they're green grapes, but they're really crispy, like really crispy, nice, juicy, sweet grapes. Are they green or are they frozen? Frozen grapes. They are pretty good, eh? Frozen grapes. I tried that. It's not bad. Yeah, no, they're green grapes, but they're really crispy, like really crispy, nice, juicy, sweet grapes.
Are they green or are they purple?
They are green. They're green.
Yeah, grapes are good. I like grapes. I like wine.
Listen, I'll send you a picture. I can't remember what it's called, but there are these frozen grapes that have some kind of stuff on them that make them like a little bit sour,
but I think it's all like organic, natural shit, and they sit in the freezer. Yeah, they are. If you like sour, it's not super sour, but I think it's all like organic natural shit. And they sit in the freezer.
If you like sour, it's not super sour,
I think that cotton candy was an epic sale.
I like the cotton candy grapes.
I thought they were pretty good.
In Colorado Springs, they were horrible.
That's too bad. I just love lazy fruit like you know what i mean like bite-sized fruit that doesn't like there's nothing there's
no pit there's no you know like seeds there's no core there's no work you know what i mean like
i love lazy fruit if you know lazy fruit i've never heard anyone say that before it's going
on the list you know where I'm going with this.
You know, you don't have to put a lot of work in.
There's my random topic to start there.
I was just going to say, it's like Jules doesn't want to have to work for his fruit.
So probably you don't want to eat orange because you got to peel that shit. No, no, no, no.
Orange is good because the peel comes off fairly easy.
And then you just got like nice, delicious, juicy fruit inside.
I don't find it that easy.
I usually get squirt in the eye every time I try to open orange up.
How are you with juicy peaches?
I like my women like I like my fruit. Easy. Juicy peaches? I like my women like I like my fruit.
Guys, we're off to a great start here.
I don't know what we're going on here.
Pugs, what do you say? You want to kick us off? Amazing. Well, I don't know.
And then me and Jules will fight it out after you.
I've had all these fish songs up lately just because of the Wabbit connection.
So, I mean, why don't I do this one?
This is one of the few that I think
was almost like a radio type song for fish it's called bouncing around the room
Woman was a dream I had, though rather hard to keep
When my eyes were watching hers, they closed
When my hand was holding hers
She whispered words and I awoke
Faintly bouncing round the room, the echo of whom never spoke.
And I awoke, faintly bouncing round the room, the echo of whom never spoke.
The place I sought was far beneath the surface of the sea
My sight was poor but I was sure
The sirens sang their songs for me
They dance above me as I sink
I see them through a crystal haze
Hear them bouncing round the room
They never ran away from home Through a crystal haze, we hear them bouncing round the room, never ending before the maze.
A crystal haze, we hear them bouncing round the room, never ending before the maze.
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing round the room.
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing around the room
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing around the room
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing around the room
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing around the room
That time then, once again, I'm bouncing around the room
That time then, that time then, once again, I'm bouncing round the moon That time then, that time then
Once again I'm bouncing round the moon
That time then, that time then
Once again I'm bouncing round the moon
That time then, that time then
Once again I'm bouncing round the moon
That time then, that time then
Baby, bouncing're bouncing around the world
The other world will never spoil
Baby, you're bouncing around the world
The other world will never spoil You put Jules to sleep even though he had an afternoon.
That was an awesome song.
I should get rid of that button, but I actually do enjoy it once in a while, too.
It's right beside the cheering button.
I haven't heard that one, like, ever.
I don't even know if I know a lot of Phish songs, to be honest.
That was one of their poppier ones a little bit of radio play back in the day fish songs over the last few days hey who is fish who is who's in that band is that like a
one of those super groups or something a mix of people people, or what? You know, they met in Vermont early, like, I don't know, 82, 83.
Oh, they're even older than I was.
They were really, like, they went to, some of them were studying engineering.
They were just kind of dorks, but musical geniuses.
And they went to artsy college in artsy towns, and they had the grassroots following.
And they just did farms and little local places, and they grew.
And they could sell out Madison Square Garden in New York with little to no advertising.
And they kind of took the torch of the Grateful Dead in terms of the jam band kings and the hippie following
and lots of improvisation.
It's never the same concert twice.
You know, you go see Bon Jovi and it's like the same 10 songs,
but Phish, it's always a unique one-time experience, you know.
So I've seen them over 60 times.
I feel ignorant now because I'm not very familiar with the name.
I'm going to have to go and listen to some fish now.
I'm pretty sure I've probably heard some of their songs and I just can't think of them. I'll make a Spotify list
for you. Yeah, make me a list and send it so I don't have to do the work. I like lazy Spotify
lists where people just have it together and they send it to me. Hey, I'm an audio architect,
so it's my pleasure. I know it's who I am. Yeah. I have the one list, Jules, that you had sent to me.
Yeah, I've worked my way through that list like three times.
Like I've listened to it.
And I have a whole bunch of songs that I favorited.
I've still, I've just added a couple more too.
I still add to that one once in a while.
But yeah, it's pretty good.
I have a whole bunch that I just added to like my like songs list off that one.
Did you want to play one of your tracks, Jules?
Or did you want me to go?
I'm still kind of doing things.
You're still eating lazy fruit?
I haven't done this one in a while,
and I haven't really learned any new songs
except for that one new song that I learned.
I'm trying to pull out the ones I haven't done in a long time
because hopefully you all have forgotten them by now. Shout it out, but I can't hear what you say
Talking loud, not saying much
It is eyes, not all your bullets, ricochet.
Shoot me down, but I can't.
Bulletproof, nothing to lose.
Ricochet, you take your aim
You shut me down, but I won't fall. I am titanium.
You shook me down, but it's you who left further to fall
Made your voice, got sick and stones may break my bones
Talking loud, not saying much
Bulletproof, nothing to lose Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, take your aim Fire away, fire away I will fall, I am titanium. Hey Stored hard, missing guns, fired at the ones who run.
Stored hard, I am titanium, you shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium Let's try to finish that strong.
I hadn't heard you do that one for a minute.
It was superb in the emotion and the voice.
superb in the emotion and the voice and like we've talked before about like uh the the funny
squeak the bad squeak but this was an example of the good squeak at the end of a phrase you'd be
like and you'd like kind of like accent the note and it was it makes it so soulful and the way you
just kind of crack the voice a little there with that little squeak it was it was brill it's a true vocalist skill and uh so you know
what yeah i was gonna say guys i'm squeaking tonight it's not on purpose i'm not doing that
on purpose it's just happening oh my god just right that time okay Okay. Super relaxed in the more
subtle parts of the verse in between
those two. So yeah, it's interesting.
allergies, guys. If you have
You squeak. You get raspy and you
squeak. I like to squeak i like this oh thanks that's great
uh thanks guys i like to hold on real quick um
damn i don't remember when it was but your voice hit like this it was like a lower tone but it got me from it i was like oh
shit i had that it was it was really good i was like oh like yeah it was good yeah it was cool
oh thanks i'm trying to learn i'm trying to work on that lower register because it's tough
for me to sing there because i don't sing there i sing you know up squeaking i squeak when i sing
yes hair's voice like penetrates the soul.
You guys are so kind. Thank you. I think I'll host
You're like one of the few people I can hear
be like, sounds like you're talking to us
like you have a sore throat and then you start
Aw, thanks, Joyce. There's not many that can do that.
Where are all the bad judges?
Where are all the bad judges?
I need someone here to knock me down
Where's Fondue? I'm just kidding
Fondue if you listen back to this recording
Please I promise I'm kidding
I have requests and you can honor them or not.
Okay. So if tonight, if you feel like it, what I would love,
what I would love to hear from you and listen to the way that I'm positioning
this, it's all on you. I'm just throwing it out there and I'm asking very kindly.
There is a song that you played in XTT on Saturday that John requested.
You did not say the name of it, but it's a track that you wrapped on with Thanos.
And at the end, it's got this really cool quick cadence to it.
Okay, wait, I'm not done, so that's number one.
I would love to hear that one.
The second one is my favorite song that you haven't sent to me yet that I can't remember the name of.
You did ask me to send you something.
I totally forgot about that.
I want to hear that if you want to play at some point.
And then the third request, and this is the one that you...
I always try to get through the night playing as minimal music.
So you did this really cool thing in XGT where you played the saxophone over a track.
And if you felt inclined to do anything sax-y tonight, I'd love to hear that at some point.
But you do whatever you want.
Yeah, I can do the requests.
I was going to do something different just to do something short with a little musical break.
I never play instrumentals or sample stuff that I did like Pork does.
I've got a catalog of songs and stuff that I've made but I also
really enjoy making instrumentals
music to them so I'm not going to play
I'll still play your request
later but I was just going to just run this
instrumental I feel like I need
to play a whole song now because you fucking
you do whatever you want to do, Jules.
I'm just going to play the instrumental once in a while.
Because I know there's a lot of artists around, too.
And I do have a whole gang of instrumentals that would love vocals on them, too, if other people felt inclined.
But anyway, I'm just going to play it.
I'll just do one verse and a chorus off a beat if I play it.
So I'll just run this one with no disclaimers here. Thank you. Oh man, nice dusty speakers too, I love that. That was dope.
Yeah, I like that one a lot too, thanks. Almost sounded like i thought i heard a ham and organ type vibe in there yeah
yeah there is a like there is a little sample that was just like
i didn't actually take that from uh tracks so that was just like
um like they're not royalty freeze but it's like another producer's packs of samples that they
put together you know what i mean so it's got some like chops and organs and things like that
different percussions and stuff but yeah i do like that a lot it's cool that is really cool
i love the whole vibe that you got going on with your music i'm a big fan obviously otherwise i
wouldn't constantly nag you and ask you and beg you to play it.
I love playing more beats
because there's a lot of people out here
that want beats and stuff too.
I should do more collabs with people
and put myself out there a bit.
So I appreciate you, Cara,
because I love the listening section.
I love to listen to music spaces.
I usually just hang out with the listeners.
And Cara's been really adamant as a friend
to get me out and on stages more and just hanging out and being a part and you know now she's asked me to co-host
a show with her so no I really appreciate it because you know I do see see but we love it
we love it when it's time to run the jewels though see yes see that's exactly what I'm
talking about it's not just a me thing it's an everybody thing I mean look I'm selfish yes I want
it but you know I want that saxophone.
But everyone else loves it and needs to hear it.
And I keep saying the same thing over and over again.
And you're going to get tired of it.
Well, before I shut up, before you get annoyed with me and I shut up, I want to shout out
before we get to the hands and everything.
We've got Rob Nichols hanging out down there.
Jody. We got the two Jody's down there in Listener Man. Both of them are always so enthusiastic and
sharing out the space and excited. I appreciate both of you so much. Thank you so much for your
support. I see JP. We've got Chris hanging out down there. I'm hoping she's going to come up at
some point. Shaggy, what is up? Casey, Xavier, Sugar. We got Visible Thoughts. I can't say your
name, bro. What is this? IQBME. IQBME. What is up? See you down there. Valentin. It's really fun
probably trying to listen to me pronounce this shit. We got Rola. I said that with an accent.
I don't know why. James MC, Cat Weasel, Jighead. That's fun. It's a fun name.
Mike V, and whoever you are at the bottom, I can't say it.
Cat Weasel stuck out to me, too.
You know what's funny is that it's Cat Weasel, but it's a dog-nosed PFP.
So explain that one to me.
Thank you guys for joining. Really appreciate your support.
Wait, you forgot. You forgot
the two listeners down below.
two people in the tunnels.
If you're lost, I'll shepherd you back.
Weasels. They're vicious, vicious
mass murderers. They'll kill all your chickens.
Just like fucking rip their throats open drain all their blood
I don't leave them on that
Shit yeah, that's crazy. I had no idea never never encountered a weasel before but I'm sure you have
We'll mess your chickens up. Yeah, I'll tell you and the way I picture Jules
And just this is the last thing I'm gonna say before I shut the fuck up
The way I the way I picture Jules is he's like this, he's like the 6'2 Viking that lives out in
the wilderness of Canada where like by day he's like a fucking financial trader doing
some fucking crypto shit that I don't understand on his computer, making music, rapping and
stuff, drinking his Americanos and smoking joints.
And then he's outside like in the bush, wherever the fuck that is in Canada, and he's like
wrestling bears and chopping wood and making fires and something has to do with
chickens and I don't know he's just like out there with animals just fucking
them up and like one punch to anybody they just go down
in front of the bear because it was about to eat my dog, and I wasn't going to have that.
He's a bear wrestler, guys.
Wouldn't anybody jump in front of a bear for their dog, though?
Like, I love my dog so much, man.
I would sacrifice myself for the dog, I think.
I would jump with the shit out of a bear. I would fight a fucking bear, trust me i'd probably die but you know
anyway guys we got a bunch of people up here on stage appreciate you all
for being here so i'm gonna start making a list and dante i do see that you have your hand up i'm
assuming that you probably want to put yourself in the queue and we're definitely going to get
to you but if you wanted to like say hi or something you can definitely speak i did i wanted to say hi you ever had the fudgy
the whale cake yet it's been three months removed from your birthday did you get a chance to have
fudgy the whale yet oh no i didn't oh my goodness caramira i'm just disappointed i don't know if i
could be on this list you know what i shouldn't have to buy my own fucking cake.
That's right. Someone should be buying you a cake.
Someone should be getting you a cake. Why do you need to go and get the cake?
Someone should get someone, someone with the hubby, hubby should get the cake.
I never mentioned it to him, so it's not his fault. It's all good.
No, I never had it. Thank, so it's not his fault. It's all good. No, I never had it.
Thank you for reminding me, though.
Let me say what's up to hi, Kara, hi, Jules, hi, Pugs.
Drinking some wine, chilling.
Drinking wine and feeling fine.
You're speaking my language.
That is my love language, is wine.
I don't think that's it. I know. Don't, my language. That is my love language is wine. I don't think that's a...
Wolf, you were the first person here.
So we are going to check in with you and see what you got.
I was practicing snake jazz in the background.
Oh, you're going to boombox for us. Let's go.
I'll just do this little snake jazz.
I was sitting here. I was just going...
Is that a rattle? No, it it's me it's just my face
it's just my face you gotta know about rick and morty to be here today
yeah exactly yeah snake jazz yeah yeah um
it's my new jam but uh, no, I don't know.
I was thinking about just reading this very old thing that I found,
Is it another, like, teenage angsty poem or whatever like you did last time?
It's like from the shoebox from when I was 15.
Let's go. Let's hear your deepest, darkest from when I was 15. Let's go.
Let's hear your deepest, darkest thoughts when you were a teenager.
All 75 of your friends that you don't know are here for it.
It's like here's a dossier.
Well, god damn it, Karen. Now you got me all fucked up yeah all right me no i think it's good so
this is my first time my first experience ever for any of you whoever had to sit the fuck down
with a group of people and listen to everyone's problems and
group therapy, it's actually a really awesome experience. I think it's a very tribal thing to do
and everyone should do it. So it's my first description of that experience. Teenage angst.
Here we sit, staring at the floor, simultaneously staring into each other's souls.
Words are spoken, some are heard when they choose to be so, and others just ricochet off walls.
And here we sit, trying to become closer with ourself, our inner God,
to repair the damage done. And here we sit, avoiding making small talk or conjuring some
type of understanding when we all know too well in our hearts that we are lying to ourselves.
And here we sit, putting that mask on even if we don't realize it. I'm okay. I'm fine. This is stupid. I don't need
this. His voice is ever so prominent. Ever so loud. Ever so loud. So here we sit. Are we okay?
Am I fine? Is this stupid? Maybe I do need this. It's easy to say I will not run.
It's harder to sit and face a demon when it comes, am I right?
So here we sit, fighting an endless battle until the end of time.
But time isn't relevant, right?
There's only here and now expanding infinitely.
So here we sit, wanting, wondering, and waiting.
Looking for the key to the locked door within ourselves, a prisoner of one self-constructed catacomb.
Some materials to build these walls were forced into our hearts, and some from others, and some from our own fears, but here we sit, trapped. Here we sit, questioning and understanding what makes us who we are and what connects us.
Here we sit, together through the change.
That was great man, I liked that. That actually had me
fucking spinning in my head there.
Ooh, spinning in the head, I like that nice oh spinning in the head I like that
I'm gonna write that down that was really great Wolf
I was like ah damn she's right just calling me out
calling me out I was like what are you at like a
maybe you were and it's fine if you were it's okay it's all good I was like, ah, damn, she's right. She's calling me out. I was like, what are you, right? Like a Fall Out Boy concert? Oh, my God, stop.
And it's fine if you were.
Well, I mean, I skated at one.
No, but I appreciate you.
I just think it's an interesting take on that experience.
And people have this with their friends, right, and families
and whoever your confidant
It's all the same type of structure.
I'd like to hear some more from you if you want to.
But yeah, some boom boxing would be great.
I know it. All right. Cool.
Joyce! How you doing, girl?
Did you want to share something?
Um, I guess I can read something that I, a poem that I wrote.
You want me to do it now?
Yeah. I mean, no pressure. If you want to. Sure. Go for it. But if not, I think I think the title needs work.
But I think I've read it before in some other spaces. It's called Silenced Aliens.
Silence, a sound that echoes through my house all day long. Squeaks of the floor, tiny squirrel feet running on the roof above.
Sitting in a home of silence can at times control the frequencies of everyone's mind.
Neighbors next door, behind me, or down the road.
All living, wondering if something's wrong.
Walking around like zombies, crawling from the black hole.
Looking like chemicals have burned their soul.
It's my neighborhood indeed, but the people walking are foreign to me. Who are you? What is is today. Use your voice. Stay safe.
Save your block for your family. We need you alive for the rest of our survivors.
Sounds like my COVID experience That was awesome
That was Maya Angelou status
Well hey I think you know that you wrote
A really good poem when it actually resonates
With your audience choice that was amazing
Thank you actually resonates with your audience choice. That was amazing. Thanks for sharing.
The title's probably fine.
Right on, okay. I'll keep it that title.
I have heard you do it before.
Can you write a poem about people who drive alone
in their cars with masks on for me?
Seriously, I don't think I could. I'd go crazy trying.
There are many fine geopolitical spaces in the area.
All right. Well, slam poetry. I like it. Let's say hi to Dante. What's up, Dante?
Hey, what's up? Jules got me in some kind of really good vibe with what he played,
and it reminded me of a song, the music, but I'm gonna sing it acapella because I loved that vibe.
So here we go, I'll try my best.
First time I'm singing it in spaces, so.
All around me are familiar spaces,
worn out places Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression.
Out of my head, I want to drown my sorrow.
No tomorrow, no tomorrow.
And I find it kind of funny
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
When people run in circles.
It's a very, very mad world.
Children waiting for the day they feel good.
And I feel the way that every child should sit and listen.
Sit and listen sit and listen went to school and i was very nervous no one knew me no one knew me
hello teacher tell me what's my lesson. Look right through me.
And I find it kind of funny.
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.
I find it hard to tell you. i find it hard to tell you i find it hard to take when people
run in circles it's a very very mad world
Mad world. I love that song. That's a good choice. And again, you always do it acapella, man. I think
there's a lot of vulnerability. I can't talk. How do you say the word? Someone help me.
Jesus, what's wrong with me tonight?
You know what I'm trying to say. That's what you have.
It's all the fudgy the whale that I
go for the fudgy the whale.
What are you waiting for? Don't wait
on the hubby. Just go to Carvel
and get yourself a fudgy the whale.
Shit, I'm gonna to have to now.
That was awesome, Dante. Thank you so much.
It's a wonderful space as always.
Who is that? Is that Gary Jules, the original?
Who sings that in the original? I can't remember.
Oh, I can't remember either Michael Andrews
You came. How's it going?
Hey, can you guys hear me?
Okay, it was a little choppy there.
Hi. Yes, I'm here. I'm good.
About to go outside and partake in a
I believe that's Spanish.
I may or may not just had a yoint.
Do as many drugs as possible.
The good ones, not the bad ones, allegedly.
Holy crap, what are you trying to do?
Yeah, it's a nice little PSA and drop the mic.
I am also, my microdose has just kicked in, guys.
So we're going to have some fun tonight.
Everything you say is for entertainment.
This is about to begin. Is everybody in? Everybody did.
This is the non-drug space, guys.
Seriously, don't do drugs.
Like, don't do hard drugs.
Wasn't somebody in the comment section the other day like,
oh, you shouldn't do caffeine.
Yes. That's why I said it. I was like, stop trying, you shouldn't do caffeine. You should try crack. Yes.
I was like, stop trying to force me to do crack.
People out here are weirdos.
Anyway, speaking of people who are not weirdos, it's a great segue.
Slim? Real Slim the boss.
We need a legitimate name to call this guy.
I love doing that. Can we call him?
Why isn't my phone working?
If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and then dial your operator.
Hello, and welcome to Moviefone.
Why don't you tell me the name of the movie you'd like to see oh god the government of canada matrix my dad my dad's thing every time i call my dad he's like
hello welcome to movie phone every time every time i love it it's's ridiculous. For the last, like, 30 years.
I feel like I'd get along with your dad really well, Mella.
I mean, like, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Like, I say stupid shit all the time.
But the worst of it is anytime we're out somewhere, it could be at a restaurant, it could be in the studio, whatever we're doing, people will be like, hey, how are you?
He'll be like, if I was any better, I'd be two people and a puppy.
He gets a lot of joy out of confusing people.
It's his favorite pastime.
I mean, you could be happy, but if you had another person and a puppy with you,
if you had a partner and a puppy, come on,
you're not going to be a little happier than you are in the moment already?
Yeah, I think that's the message.
If I was any better, I'd be two people and a puppy.
So if you're one tier below that, you're pretty happy.
You're just a decent dude having a good day.
You could be two people and a puppy.
Well, Slim's not answering the phone, so I guess we're going to circle back.
Xavier! What's up, my guy?
Hey, let the wonderful Dan go before me. He was here first.
Oh, was he? My bad. Hey, Dan? What's up?
Hey, yeah, it doesn't matter to me.
Zave, if you want to go, go for it.
All right, well, hey, everybody. It's been a hot minute. So I actually can't tell if,
is there somebody talking right now and like, uh, I'm talking over them because
just you know, it's all you. Oh, good. Okay. I'll talk over myself. That's fine.
So it's been a while since I've been able to make it, but now I'm kind of back in my school year
routine and I'll, you you know I love these singing
and live music spaces and poetry all the things so I'm I'm gonna just do a
little bit of Ruth B just for funsies so this is Lost Boy
There was a time when I was alone,
Nowhere to go and no place to call home.
My only friend was the man in the moon,
And even sometimes he would go away too.
And even sometimes he would go away too.
Then one night as I closed my eyes, I saw a shadow flying high.
He came to me with the sweetest smile, told me he wanted to talk for a while he said Peter Pan that's what they call me I promise
that you'll never be lonely and ever since that day I am a lost boy from Neverland
usually hanging out with Peter Pan
And when we're bored we play in the woods
Always on the run from Captain Hook
Run, run, lost boy, they say to me
Away from all this reality
Neverland's home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free
Neverland's home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free
He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe
Believe in him and believe in me
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green
To your beautiful destiny
As we soared above the town that never loved me
I realized I had a family
Soon enough we reached Neverland
Peacefully my feet hit the sand
I am a lost boy from Neverland, usually hanging out with Peter Pan.
And when we're bored we play in the woods, always on the run from Captain Hook.
Run, run, lost boy, they say to me.
Away from all this reality.
Neverland's home for lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free.
Neverland's home to lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free.
Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling, even Captain Hook, you are my perfect storybook.
Neverland, I love you so, you are now my home sweet home forever, a lost boy at last Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling,
even Captain Hook, you are my perfect storybook Neverland, I love you so
you are now my home sweet home forever a lost boy at last
and for always I will sing. I am a lost boy from Neverland, usually hanging out with Peter Pan.
And when we're bored we play in the woods, always on the run from Captain Hook. Run, run, lost boy, they say to me, away from all this reality.
Neverland's home for lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free.
Neverland's home for lost boys like me, and lost boys like me are free. Neverland's home for lost boys like me and lost boys like me are free.
That's my favorite sound effect. Thank you.
That was the perfect sound effect.
Hey, that's a cool sound effect.
Dan, it is so good to hear you again.
And I loved you playing that song.
Thank you so much for coming through.
It's so good to hear you.
Thanks so much. Yeah, I'm actually going to drop down to listener It's so good to hear you. Thanks so much.
Yeah, I'm actually, I'm going to drop down to listener because I got to start dinner,
And I've missed you all too.

You got a nice touch on those keys.
Yeah, Dan, don't stay away too long either.
Sounds good. Y'all come back now, come back. I'm just saying. Sounds good.
Y'all come back now, you hear?
All right, that was great.
I think that we should... Yeah, there you go.
I think we should check back in with Slim
because he's fallen off stage like 15,000 times,
Slim, we tried calling you.
You didn't answer the phone.
Rob's going to chime in instead of Slim because we're sitting right next to each other.
It's like, y'all know what it is.
We really can't have both phones open at the same time because it's like, you know how they do. So, what's up, y'all know what it is. We really can't have both mics open at the same time because it's like, you know how

Yeah just keep watching, come on, you feel that?
Well I am UTV, 3D is how you witness me
Dependence the key, so protected is what you tend to be,
We do it simply, positivity to chemistry,
All to succeed in this industry is what we've been to be,
Production, cause we corrupting your corruption,
With more destructions we complete destruction,
Is disruption, the new instruction,
To bring the masses the induction,
Independent eruption that I am you got you stuck in,
Energy, plus elevations, equal to perfect frequency, poke for levitation
Smokin' but stayin' focused, I'm floatin' for motivation
Coastin' to keepin' hatein' from the fact that I'm a maze
Teamed up with the greatest detectives run the frequency
Grounder than the Elohe, rearrangin' everything
No more stuck on sellin' dreams, brilliance over everything
Nickels to the milli chains, XRP bigger things, I am you and you are me
Millers reciprocated, emulate the greatest that can make it
Keep the crowd stimulating, resonating, insatiating
But the people, you bitch, you wanted to catch enough on bait
Facilitated the movement and nothing, people went latest
I debating, regretting, it's constructed in melanation
No lacing, fuck contemplation, I've been waiting to be so blatant
Got scoffed to fainting and hating, pissing.
Praying for grace when I get to springing.
They faces rolling with alien races.
You are me. I am R&M, we are me, we are R&M, I am Duke TV.
Keep watching, baby, it's the frequency.

She's probably getting busy doing something.
That's my dear sister, Mella.
Let's bring Mella back in this joint.
Yeah, we'll get her back up when she's ready.
Yeah, Xavier. Let's hear what you got.
I was going to do a love song before I heard Slim,
but now he's just inspired me to keep the energy up.
So we're going to go for it.
Honestly, I'm feeling something different.
I don't usually sing songs like this or try this.
So we shall see how it goes. And I, I, I feel you circling, circling around me
And I love it, I wanna see you circle this love and give me all of it
And see as you looking, looking at me, I get so lost, so lost in your pretty little gaze.

Yeah. Yeah, see, I, Xavier. Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. That was a freestyle, right? Yeah.
Yeah, see, I can't do that shit. I don't know how to freestyle. I would probably think of like two words and then I'd blank out.
So that's talent right there, being able to freestyle. That was great.
All right, guys, how about we say hello to the space crash?
Oh, God, we have the bing bong.
Thank God for the bing bong.
Do you still have no money?
What's your money situation?
It's doing good. I'm doing fine.

but that's the general gist of the song.
That's the fun part about performing it live.
I thought it was great. Look what you did with that song. I can't rap. That was awesome.
Thank you. That was a really fun one. I had recently upgraded my microphone situation too.
So that one came out sounding really good on the recorded version. And so it was just a lot of fun to do.
So, yeah, I think that's the key or the secret sauce of it is just, you know, make sure you're having fun with it.
And, you know, I'm doing that.
I appreciate you coming through.
Hope you stick around and share more.
You said you got a new mic, so that's awesome.

I'm bringing this one back guys and bring it back Maybe Don't really wanna know My garden grows
Did you ever feel the pain
Maybe I just wanna fly, I wanna live, I don't wanna die
Maybe I just wanna breathe, maybe I just don't believe
Maybe you're the same as me, won't see things I've never seen
You and I are gonna live forever
Maybe, I don't really wanna know how you're caught engrossed
Cause I just wanna fly Did you ever feel the pain in morning rain?
It sucks you to the bone.
Maybe I will never pay all the things that I wanna pay.
Maybe it's not the time to cry.
Now's the time to find out why I think you're the same as me
Well, since things will never stay You and I are gonna live forever
Apparently squeaking through the whole song Thank you. I don't really wanna know how your garden grows
Did you ever feel the pain
That sucks you to the bone
Baby I just wanna breathe
Baby I just don't believe
Baby you're the same as me
Wealthy things I'll never take
You and I are gonna live forever
I'm gonna live forever uh-huh.
Bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, b Ew, get out of my brain. You sounded like you were free-flowing there. What does that mean? When you just let your fingers do the walking
and you're not playing a memorized part
and you just kind of are improvising and flowing.
Oh, yes, I totally did that.
Guys, I've only been playing guitar for two years.
I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, but a flow state. I like it. Thank you. I'm that. Guys, I've only been playing guitar for two years. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, but a flow state.
And I was just going for smokes, by the way.
Did you say, wait, say it again sagger it
that's an exaggeration you think that you don't have an accent we don't actually say it like that
whatever you have an accent i don't care i don't care what anyone else says
everyone in the space right now tell jules he has an accent. Go. Jules, you don't have an accent.
I knew he was going to do that.
You know, she's from Joy-Z and I'm from fucking the west coast of Canada.
There's a little difference.
Yeah. We're no strangers to love, you know the rules, and so do I Well, full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
Just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it
Inside we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me that you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you That was beautiful yo
I'm such a big fan of Rick Astley
you just made my entire night with that one
like people just made babies with that song right now in the space,
Jules didn't even play the Rick Roll sound effect,
and he did not make a baby, guys.
See? I was so excited. He was making bong. There were no babies. I know. I didn't even bing bong. See?
He was so excited by that song
that he didn't even bing bong, man.
No, it was really smooth, though.
just a nice, smooth delivery.
It's really easy to listen to
when it's done, I'm like,
oh, yeah, shit, I'm not actually just listening to the radio.
There's actually people waiting for me to come back to the microphone.
You deserve it, man. You're amazing. You're brilliant. It was beautiful.
That was easily my favorite that I've ever heard you play, to be honest.
Yeah, very smooth, mellow.
You were in flow state as well.
You were in the pocket, Pugs.
I don't know if that makes sense, but I'm saying it.
I'm like, I'll take a flow state.
I got to snap out of it sometimes in Zuma.
Snap. I'll thank everybody. Snap, snap. Yeah, sometimes and zoom up. Snap.
You want to hear one of these requests, Jared?
Yeah, I'm going to run this bringing me down track. This is... It's? Yeah, okay. So, yeah, this is... Yeah, I'm going to run this bringing me down track.
It's still unfinished, but it's still good.
Like, what's finished is mixed.
It's still got an open section on it that was...
You know, it's funny because I have the first...
I actually have the first from Krover,
but I don't think anybody's seen the guy in 2025.
Yeah, he like disappeared, man.
He's still active on IG, but not here.
But anyway, here's the gist of the track, I guess.
But it's one of Kara's favorites, apparently.
favorites apparently so this one's for you I love this one so much guys
I love this one so much, guys.
Oh, there it goes Lying on the comma, I put the gutter shit, we on some other shit, they don't know what it is now. Running out, I don't want none of it, I just have fun with it, I just get done with it, yeah.
Twist me a blunt, I'm a son, I'm a bitch and a girl, yeah.
One by one, we gon' run at us, ready to love when we coming up.
Eventually, someone will fill this space soon.
I'm gonna pull a Ciara and all I'm gonna say is mmm.
All I'm gonna say is... yeah if tony was here he would definitely say drop the mic so thank you so much pubs for saying
that before anyone talks i just have to say that song and i'm gonna try not to be like so extra
right now but i feel i feel so extra like the microdose plus that song put me in like a fucking vibe and even without anything like just
that song i don't know what it is but it's like the frequency of the the like i can't do it like
whatever the fucking sound is that you're using like the the shit that you mixed and you made
and then you fucking rapping on that shit and the da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. I don't even know what you're saying.
I don't even know what you're saying,
Son of a bitch and something.
Oh my God, I was trying to like figure out the words
Do you want to know what the words are?
I say laying on the come up.
So it's the place where I'm from.
What the hell do I say actually?
What the hell do I say? I don't even remember my own lyrics.
I gotta hear it just real quick.
other shit. They don't know what it is. Mouth run
and I just have fun with it.
Y'all just get dumb with it.
Son of a bitch with a gun.
Yeah, it's a bunch of muttering.
It's a bunch of muttering in there, but it is words that make sense.
It's not actually just mumbling.
It sounded like something out of a dubstep library yeah it was so
dope and so this is this is from another again like producer's sample pack so this is like
it's not stuff that i played or whatever like it's just like it's not royalty free sheet of
there looks like it's like another producer's sample pack he put together that i paid for
you know what i mean um anyway but yeah it's got some like dubstep like bass in it and stuff like that so it's like it's got this
hip-hop vibe but yeah it totally has like a more like edm style yeah i used i used to get some
bases in that one one on the hook and then one in the in the in the verses too they're kind of
different i just love that fucking song.
Please send it to me so I can listen to it.
I bought the gutter shit.
We yelled some other shit.
They don't know what it is.
No, I don't want none of it.
Y'all just get done with it.
I'm a son of a bitch and a gun.
Son of a bitch and a gun.
Spreading some love when we're coming up.
That's what I said at the end.
I do say spreading some love when we're coming up.
Spreading some love? Spreading some love when we're coming up. That's the last line do say spreading some love when we're coming up. What is it? Spreading some love?
Spreading some love when we're coming up.
Spreading some love when we're coming up.
You do it better, though.
It's too bad we haven't seen Krover.
I did get a verse from him.
We just never finished that one, unfortunately.
I do. I miss Krover. Krover was awesome. So guys, if you don't know Krover, but yeah. I did get a verse from him, and we just never finished that one, unfortunately. I know. I do.
So guys, if you don't know Krover, I think this is where Jules is, where you and I met
back in Beat Street Saturdays.
Krover, you were co-host for him.
Saturdays, he did this epic fucking space that got so many people in there, and he's
such an amazing energy, and then, I don't know, something happened.
I knew him for about a year, year and a half, and then something happened.
Yeah, I think he's still around. He took some time off acts. I don't know. Yeah. He moved't know, something happened. I knew him for about a year, year and a half. And then something happened. Yeah, I think he's still around.
And then something happened.
But, yeah, anyway, I hope he's all right.
Because, yeah, he's got some good music.
But, yeah, I think he's active on IG.
I said I was going to hit him up last time we talked about this, and I did not.
I'm going to message him right now and be like, hey, dude, what's up?
So we are going to keep this thing moving.
Guys, again, thank you so much for being here.
We appreciate all of you for joining Drop the Mic every Thursday at 8 p.m.

I was literally just talking about Jell-O.
We do have a full stage now.
There's some more requests, too. So if you get rotated out, don't be offended.
Just request again if you want to come back.
Thank you for saying that.
I was going to mention that.
Please don't get offended.
Please do not get butt hurt if we dropped you.
Some people get butt hurt.
It takes a lot to hurt my butt.
Thank God. we dropped you yeah no it takes a lot to hurt my butt uh thank god strong ass girl guys strong ass girl
oh my god that was funny i didn't i didn't even think before i spoke It just happened. Such is life. So I'm going to play this song called Silly Games
and it's coming out on September 26th. Take your shoes off, hang your coat
Stay a while, baby, it's cold out there
We could play a crocodile You always win
Promise me you'll never leave, oh do you still care?
I know that you say it, but I want to see it.
I want you to cry, so I know that you love me.
So I know that your heart is still there
I've been hurt, I've been gone
And I've played along to those silly games
On the surface it seems so perfect
Until it's too late, too late Too late Maybe we could save the things
You and me, we are a team
And this year ain't child's play
I know that you said I want you to cry
So I know that you love me
So I know that you love me
So I know that your heart is still there
So I know that your heart is still there
That was the super baked up version
Oh my god, you get all the bing bongs!
You get all the bing bongs!
I love the super baked up version, girl.
You're so many cookies right now.
And you can like tear my heart apart with your music and the way you write a song.
But like your cuteness and the way you like settle it back in with a little laugh and out of your track,
Like you kind of bring us back with that too.
I love the way you perform.
I love the way you write.
No, that's a great, great song.
I'm hoping that you'll like the official release of that song it's coming out very soon
oh my god is it like already oh yeah okay so it's coming out next week on friday um so you can find
it everywhere no i don't have a pre-save link yet because Spotify Spotify is like the only one that gives you like I can't
really do pre-saves for anywhere else it's mostly like Spotify Apple Music and Amazon Music but

life and seeing what happens I just yeah that's how it goes well congratulations if you have
anything that you want to share in the nest or put it in the pill so that people can access it
like links to your to your stuff all your stuff we need to have all your stuff mella so yeah cool
everywhere thank you i will appreciate it appreciate you thank you so much for coming back. Of course. Anytime.
I've been like, I've been busy, but I've missed you guys.
And I realized, I don't know.
I just had so much going on and I was like,
I should probably prioritize some things and then hop into spaces.
I was totally prioritizing spaces for the longest time.
I was like, no, yeah, I have to be in a space tonight.
And I can't do that all the time, you know?
I'm not excited about that.
But you know what that means?
Your girl's going to be inside a whole lot more.
Mella, we got to lock you in for a co-host at some point.
Let me know when you're free.
Okay, yeah, I'm down. Are you sure? on his faces. Mella, we gotta lock you in for a co-host at some point. Let me know when you're free. Okay.
Yeah, I'm down. Are you sure?
Absolutely. Yeah, do it on
your song release or something. Yeah.
Make sure you have Bandcamp all good to go.

yeah i'll do that tips out of the space yeah sure yeah cool thanks guys i appreciate the support so
much i appreciate you oh i'm excited guys make sure you tune in next thursday 8 p.m esc with
me jules and melody it's gonna be awesome awesome sauce all right we're gonna keep this thing moving
because we got a bunch of people up here uh We're gonna go to Wolf and he dropped.
Okay, well, we're gonna not go to Wolf.
We've got all kinds of newcomers up here too.
So we're gonna go to Chris, but really quick.
Look at all these talented people.
I know, look at them all.
Look at how cute they are.
Look at all their little PFPs.
I just wanna say that I have really exciting news and it's not exciting
news for you guys because exciting news for me but you're gonna get a laugh out of it so this
morning i was at work you're pregnant you got pregnant no i'm not pregnant oh jules this morning
i was at work and i'm standing at my desk i'm'm tired as fuck because, you know, I don't do mornings well.
Guess who called me this morning at like 10 o'clock to give me a wake-up call?
It was none other than Danger Devin as fucking Stewie Griffin.
So literally, literally on Thursdays, i don't go into the office and on
thursdays there's literally like no one in my office it's so quiet like you could hear a pin
drop my days are tuesday wednesday so i'm standing at my desk i'm like the only person in my row
other than the fucking admin chick and i pick up the phone and i was like i was like as quiet as
i could be i was like no you fucking just did not. And then all of a sudden, Stuart Griffin comes on the line saying whatever the fuck it was, Stuart Griffin said. And I had to walk away from my desk. I had to go to the back of the office and I was cracking up and he gave me a wake-up call guys and i think the first thing i said to you was uh excuse me
excuse me but you're three hours late he's like i had to do it because i was gonna say
it was amazing and then i told it literally devon you made my entire day by doing that. I love you so much and I appreciate you. It was
hilarious. Like that, that fucking framed my entire day. So anyway, I had to let every single
person in this space know, if you want a wake up call from Stewie Griffin, give Devin your phone
number. I'm just going to tell you right now, um, don't, don't ask me to give you a wake-up call on Monday morning,
because I'll just be like, get up, bitch,
and that's going to be the end of it.
All right, let's say hi to chris
chris you came up girl how was your drink how was your dinner how's your pie
excellent excellent excellent good you having a better night
well i felt better after i gobbled all that shit no well wait what did you have for dinner
no okay um all right so Tell me all about your food.
And then I had for a main entree, it was a chicken, Melanie, so jasmine rice topped with like buttered citrus lemon, caper, raisin, sun-dried tomato sauce.
Why didn't you send me a picture?
No, I didn't eat them all.
Actually, I ate half of it.
And then for dessert, I had key lime pie.
And tell me about your drink.
So that was a Stoli cucumber vodka with a watermelon.
And it was not as expensive because it was happy hour.
I loved seeing all your pictures and your video of it.
Happy you had a good one.
I'm going to try a song that I just learned like the past hour.
I love it when you do this.
I don't know if many of you know this song because unless you guys have seen the K-pop Demon Hunter Huntrix Netflix movie.
Yeah, so this is my acoustic version of the song Free.
And it's kind of tough because very wordy and I had to just drop the note
about drop the key about a half semitone so it's not very obvious but I really love this song the
reason why I wanted to really learn this song because I love the song I love the meaning of
the song it's about caring for somebody that is also hurting the
same as you but you find that they actually are helping you um like they don't they don't even
realize how much they're helping you but together you're helping each other like kind of like they
don't see how good they are but you do so you're're telling them about it. And then you're telling each other that, yeah, we could be free.
We could fix this together.
And I really love how they wrote this because it was just perfect at the moment of the movie
where the two main characters were talking about it because they're, in their minds,
they're both broken, you know?
So anyway. Let's see. it because they're in their minds they're both broken you know so anyway
let's see I think we told him what Ed needs a new set of batteries because he keeps shutting off
but let's hopefully it doesn't shut off as I'm sorry. I tried to hide, but something broke
I tried to sing, couldn't hit the notes
The words kept catching in my throat
I tried to smile, I was suffocating though
But here with you, I can finally breathe You said you're no good, but here with you I can finally breathe
You said you're no good, but you're good for me
I've been hoping to change, now I know we can change
But it won't if you're not by my side
Why does it feel right every time I let you in?
Why does it feel right? I can tell you anything
All the secrets that keep me in chains I let you in. Why does it feel right? I can tell you anything.
All the secrets that keep me in chains. And all the damage that might make me dangerous.
Guess you're not the only one.
What if we both try finding what we're running from?
We could fix it if we never face it.
We could face it if we never
Be the past till it's weightless
Perspective and hope only hurts
But you're breaking through all the dark in me
But I thought that nobody could
And you're waking up all these parts of me
And I thought we'd better forget
Between the faster and the smarter
I've been lost inside my head
Ain't no choice but all these boys keep running up
It's just easy when I'm with you
No one sees me the way you do
I don't trust it but I want it
Why does it feel right? Every time I let you in
Why does it feel right? I can tell you anything
We could fix it if we never face it
If we can find a way to escape it, we could be
We could fix it if we never face it Let the past be the past till it's way
So take my evidence so can we Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E I had a height, but something broke I couldn't sing, but you gave me hope
We could fix it if we never face it
Let the past be the past till it's way less
Oh! Oh! oh my god you got so many bing bongs for that one the bing bong i know the bing bong is the
new rooster guys it's a new rooster yeah because it used to be like roosters and
where's the goat there's too much cock in the God. We moved on to the bing bong.
I need the screaming goat camera.
I just stepped outside to do something
that I shouldn't be doing.
It's kind of hard to translate to acoustic.
especially with the way you play the guitar too, it got some quick lyrics in it to to follow along with
that too so very well done i like that thank you thank you thank you thank you so much thank you
i look forward to this space every thursday because i get to hang out with so many of my
favorite people every week for like a good four or five hours depending on how long we run and
chris i love it when you come through and you play your beautiful music.
I was just telling AJ, I was like, AJ, oh God.
I was like, Chris and Pugs are like the male and female version of each other
with their guitar skills.
So we're joking about that.
And I'm like, both of them, the way that they play, we joke and say that.
Like Pugs is the male version of you.
And then Rabbit and Sierra too.
They're kind of like, have like a And then Rabbit and Sierra too. Yes.
They're kind of like have like a nice similar
Yeah. Rabbit is so chill.
I like hearing him kind of come out of his,
he's not here, but come out of his comfort zone
Yeah. Right out of the hat.
But Chris, that was gorgeous.
Where is that wascowy wabbit?
I'm sure he'll be here at some point if he can.
Hopefully he comes through.
But next up, Joyce, did you want to did you want to share another piece?
Oh, no, I was just want to say I was going to drop down the listener, but I want to tell everybody, you know, represent.
You guys are great. You're fabulous. All of you go on Melody's site.
She's got a shirt. She's got hats. She's got coffee mugs. I ordered one of your shirts.
I can't wait for it to get here so I can represent because you represent X in such a fabulous way. You all do.

too and she even said in a space i think it was the danger doodle space that you actually love
creating all of those really cool i do i have so much fun with it. I like visual art.
I like doing stuff like that.
There's still no Danger Doodle shirt.
I don't know what's going on with that.
Firstly, it was Danger Noodle.
Yeah, but that's okay because that sounds cute.
It was a doodling Danger Noodle, wasnling danger noodle so we were talking about snakes i don't
know how we got onto the snake um but i recall being like yeah they're like danger noodles
and then that's how the space got called danger noodle and uh you can you can retain all rights
to that mala it's fine i might you know, if there's only been one danger noodle space, but maybe I'll bring it back.
This space is recorded. Shoot. Um, anyways. Yeah. But thank you. I appreciate the mention of my
merch store. It is pretty fun to like do the designs and stuff. I'm like so bad at promoting
it because I'm like, I don don't know i just don't think
i never like have it in my head like oh somebody might want a t-shirt like
so it never crosses my brain unless i'm going to shows like in real life i'll like you know
i'll mention you get a t-shirt and you get a t-shirt and you get a t-shirt i want to be like you get it one day i want to be
at that level where i can just like throw t-shirts at people danger pool noodles
i'm so happy you're here also i heard the words bad at promoting and i felt a call to come up and
say guys um like if you if you like Mella even a little bit,
Mella, unless you're tone deaf, which is
If you like Mella at all, which is
her t-shirts. Buy one for your
mom. Buy one for your best friend. Buy one for your
Take cute couples' pictures together.
I don't even condone Instagram use, but, like, get over there.
Post some pictures in your couples' T-shirts from Melody.
Yeah, like, buy her shit.
Anyone who is a full-time musician in in 2025 like just thank you because
they're doing it for the love of the game they it is so difficult to be compensated as a musician
in 2025 and i think that we take that for granted so like like family christmas photos in melby's
t-shirts obviously everybody we're all doing everyone else is doing it why aren't you doing
it um you're gonna feel left out maybe we'll all do a day where we change our
profile pictures to Melody's t-shirts um all right what do you what do you mean what do you mean
magician though like magician like we do music like I don't know what you mean oh my god you're serious it was so good it's so i'm not

Put your fuzzy butt up here Wabbit
You're dropping so Wabbit can come up
We're gonna get him up Hold on I just walked in my house. I'm sorry. I just came up to listen. Like I hear I'm not good at promoting and that's like my
I got you. I wasn't even sure if it was t-shirts because I just joined but it seems like it is t-shirts and we're we'll all be wearing them for every holiday going forward
everyone um and real quick before i drop down uh one of my favorite uh followers and subscribers
hanging out in listeners lounge um i'm gonna do i'm gonna call him out joe schmo down there
live memes spaces like like no one you've ever seen so keep an eye on the purple pill because joe schmo will
be making memes and they will be just like spot on of whatever happens uh but like memes of what's
happening in this space so if you sing something funny joe's gonna make a banger meme about it no
pressure joe you always perform it's fine um like it's such a unique skill. So thanks for live-meaning music spaces.
You kind of went a little robotic.
Did anyone else hear that, or was it just me?
Yeah, at the tail end, she kind of sounded like a Tesla bot.
Oh, it was me getting out of my Tesla.
She is a robot, actually.
It helps. Sorry. I had a great idea. By the way, I had a great idea. She is a robot, actually.
Yeah, you sound like you're underwater.
Kara, get to the root-er.
Kara, get to the surface!
Yeah, back to the surface, Kara.
You can do that on computer.
Why aren't you in bad life yet? We need some samples.
You gotta get in our mixer.
I gargle with salt water every morning.
I want to create, like, an album where it's just sounds from web three like it's like space sounds
thank god the space is recorded you can clip it yeah I'm gonna go
we can bring you guys back up later to perform more but I am gonna get a couple requests I'm
gonna bring up some new performers don't be offended i'm gonna drop while you do it so that there's no you don't have to drop you haven't
played a song we'd love to hear you play are you not gonna play i am but after the people
they're like no they're gonna play well then just keep your mic off never mind yeah no there's still
quite a few people who haven't performed that are up here and still in front of you i'm just uh
cycling some people who have performed for people who haven't and will keep moving. You know what I mean? That's all.
I think she had to do the thing.
She's got about 40 more seconds
Well, I can play one while Kara's getting out from under the water
yeah let's hear one from us
I bought Osmos you don? I bought Osmos.
I don't know what that is.
You don't know what Osmos is?
We're not numbered by Canadians right now, guys.
It's shawarma. I got shawarma.
It's chicken on the rocks, which means chicken on rice.
It's chicken shawarma on rice.
Smell a god street meat. Mellon, God Street meat.
This guy's walking up like three flights of stairs
because there's no elevator in my building.
But I tipped him, so I think it's fair.
Like there's no elevator or it's down?
Well, at least you're not...
Oh, it's only three stories?
I've carried drywall up five flights of stairs.
Yo, going to Costco is such a mission.
We're going to lose this.
Hopefully we don't lose the face carriers.
I've been struggling the last couple of years.
Has anybody gotten the hostess having connection issues thing?
Everybody, just come back. mind pugs i'm your captain
took me back to the 2000s
that's actually an audio clip of you
Okay, Danger, take us away with one. Hopefully
Kara is back at the end of that.
Is there anybody alive out there? Sliding down your wall like a drop of wine that missed the glass
Leaving the stain on your table
So I escaped your grasp becoming everything you said I wasn't table Then you scream in the night
Because you lost me as your slave
You know you made me dig this hole
That now you're gonna cuggle an early grave
Because I can't be, I can't be Everything, everything
No, I can't be, I can't be Everything to everyone
Your torches fill the dark, your cries of a wasted life
I see the hate in your eyes, you've tasted the poison of your venomous lies
But still you swear I'm the one, I'm the one who tried to hide the truth And now you're terrified, terrified
Because the lie was found in you
Because I can't be, I can't be
No, I can't be, I can't be
I said I can't be, I can't
