Maybe something happened
at OKEx.

Maybe they're trying to hide the fact that they're doing some type of nefarious activity
that we don't know about.
And so they're attacking Binance about something that happened four months ago.
So this is a great question, but I'm going to give you an articulate answer on this one
that might derail that a bit.
So OKX has a head of global compliance.
His name's Malcolm Wright. Malcolm Wright sits on the top of the board of the Travel Rule
Information Sharing Alliance and acts as the primary advisor and delegate to most governments
and nations on how they regulate and implement regulations for crypto. So a guy that high up
doesn't really have too much interest in the market that exists today. Like the market today
is worth, what, $3 trillion?
And if you count up how much crypto has never moved and has been parked since inception,
it's much less.
It's like $1.2, $1.3 trillion.
So a guy coming from the world, a TradFi,
sitting on top of a centralized exchange
that's built for more security token
and spot markets than it is for the futures markets,
I see them kind of just like biding their time
and waiting for the collateralized tokenization
from the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation in New York to put $100 trillion on chain
to where then they start competing really fiercely doing potentially slanderous shit.
But at this day, fighting over the market share that exists today, although to us it
might seem huge because I don't have a trillion dollars, you don't have a trillion dollars,
at scale it's kind of microscopic.
Think about the settlement deaths in Wall Street. They process up to four quadrillion with a Q
dollars a day in transactions. So the liquidity they have behind those transactions and the way
the money moves so slow, they're able to keep their market more stable and liquid than we are.
Now, when we take that same scale to crypto, you got literally hundreds of millions of market
participants sharing a pool of only about a trillion dollars of liquidity.
It gets thin fast.
If the mechanics of it are broken,
where they start making insurance pools for altcoins
and they start like, you know,
pulling out SAFU funds
from the market making they're doing,
it creates like a disastrous situation
where if you're collateralized in anything
that they essentially pulled the liquidity from
to de-risk themselves in other areas,
that's a domino effect waiting to happen
the moment the market flips slightly in the wrong direction.
So that's my thought there.
It's just for OKEx and who runs it and who's involved,
what's happening right now is not big enough for them to be dirty.
But give it two or three more years, who knows?
But yes, that's my two cents there.
