Thank you. Hello, hello, Gamonad.
Ooh, early joiners. I see Bob here okay boba requested wow so on time
all right let's keep boba a minute i think boba is up here hello hello boba gmonad gmonad oh you said gmonad okay we were from two two different clans
okay do i suppose to say like gmonad no no i think any i think it's great that we have so
many ways to greet each other you know some people say gmonad some people say gmonad like me or
some people say ahoy these days oh no ahoy actually
dead ahoy is dead i think do a thing i think it's do a thing nah nah nah let's not make it a thing
um or like i know some people say good monad which is like unacceptable so
i'm not gonna go there all right yeah usually usually that would be like
some music here to wait for the audience but i think we have a lot of audience a lot of people
in the audience here so maybe we can just like go ahead and just ask you how you are how are you
i'm good i just finished my work like web through work and yeah it's kind of like i appreciate to be on on this show like
i've been waiting this invite for my whole life not gonna like
your whole life yeah like even before monad was a thing yeah probably oh wow wow um yeah i'm i'm
i'm happy to have you here today so um yeah So how long have you been around in the Monad community?
I joined this Monad like last year, April. One year, just like one year and one month. oh okay okay yeah i i think you are like uh we met the first time i think i actually never
talked with you until we met in real life um at the first time i'd meet up right you just showed up
yeah i just i just showed up because um when when i first got full access i think around 20s
each on april or something something. And around that week,
and there's like the first Thainat meets up in Thailand,
So yeah, so I just joined,
I just got a full access, I joined the Monad
and I don't know what to do.
So I just like DM to you if there is any spot left for the staff or something.
It's kind of weird. I know it's kind of weird, but yeah, but to be honest, I'm so happy.
honest I'm so happy like um like even you didn't know me like I just got full access and you accept
me accept me to be one of of the community of the Thai Nats at that time so yeah no I mean like it's
not it was not really up to me you know um we we welcome everyone and like if you um come into the
community you want to join you want to like you know see
other people and make friends that's perfect so that's why like i love how you just like came in
and like um you boba and then afterwards like uh we just like kept hanging out and just um now you
you have been like you know best friends with so many people who joined
I appreciate that because back then
I didn't even know who is Keone.
Who is the Venus? Why everyone
finding him in the Thai net
I didn't even know the thing
I appreciate that so much.
You blend it in really well.
of you guys are really welcome.
So happy you've been with us for a long time so it's been one
year huh so how how has it been so far um i mean i i'm enjoying with with the community
uh it changed my daily life i mean to be honest so i i i got i got a lot of friends, I mean, online friends, some random online friends from around the world.
I still have like Thai Nets friends who like they keep drinking every week or two weeks.
And we still in BC sharing some random things every day.
Even we don't have anything much to say.
We just stay there and steam gaming and
doing nothing but but but in the vc it's this it's kind of weird routine life but i kind of addict to
it yeah okay okay yeah so um if you said that the first time you joined the Monad meetup, you didn't even know Keoni, you didn't even know the meme or like who Binad was, what brought you to Monad at that time then?
Yeah, to be honest, everyone knows. I mean, like, I would say 80% or 70% knows Monad because of the things.
I don't know if I can say that, but we all know it's the wormhole thing.
I'm sorry I'm saying this, but yeah, that's kind of like a trigger for me to join a Monad.
Back then I was just like, okay, I don't have friends in Web3 anymore because I've been here like 2017 and I got wrecked on the last
circle 2021 and all of my friends just quit because we we kind of fucked up on on that how to say. At that time, the ad drop was the thing. So yeah, everyone talking about Monad.
And I was in the community, some Thai community, like I kind of like chatting there.
So but everyone like, Nets is kind of hard to get, like this, like that.
And so I kind of love chatting as my personality.
So I just thought, I just think, like, why don't I just change the place to chat?
And, yeah, I came here at first, to be honest, to be honest.
I was planning just to get NETS and everything is done.
But eventually I kind of, how to say, blend with this community and it becomes my routine right now. So, yeah, I'm kind of happy.
Yeah, yeah. I think a lot of people came because they have some certain expectation but then like um i think that was this one time that someone posted on twitter
about monad being like um farmer rehabilitation center you know you come in you like you don't
know what to expect you're just like okay i have this one goal and maybe I get it and I'm going to be gone.
But then you just stuck around because you have made so many friends.
You have made so many good memories.
You know, it has become your daily life and you just like kind of get addicted to this, you know, fun vibe and just hanging around with your friends.
this you know fun vibe and just hanging around with with your friends and now it's just like
also like spread out into like in you know in real life meetups and stuff um in different countries
um i know that you have been like to so many meetups
like um i remember uh you tweeted about your um mona t-shirts collection. Yeah, are we going to talk about that?
Yeah, yeah, we're going to talk about that
because even I don't have that many t-shirts.
How did you manage to get so many t-shirts?
Are they all from meetups?
No, not everything from meetups,
but most of them from meetups.
Yeah, I get most of the thing from the meetup from the November last year for the second of Thai Nats meetup.
Like back then, we have a lot of foreigner Nats flying to Thailand.
And yeah, they bring me some shirts, they bring me some tea and like a lot actually a lot
a lot from we got a lot of merch from that event and even the place I have never received like
Philippines, Indonesia like they bring it for me and I do we all make custom one like we make a lot of um custom one in in japan in um in thailand
as well but um uh in korea i i got i got like almost like six or seven from from korea because
um if you remember like uh they have the currency,
some kind of coin thing that we can use to exchange food,
exchange beer, stickers, a lot of kind of that.
If we play activity and then we got a reward, like the coin.
I decide not to drink beers, exchange for food or whatever.
I just all in on the Monad T t-shirts that one designed by online link
yeah okay okay um just for context so um the korean art meetup last year um they came up
with this really nice idea about like how how you get stuff inside the the the meetup so you get
how you get stuff inside the meetup.
and then you can go play games.
And then if you win the games,
you can get some more coins.
you can go exchange it for,
you know, Monad Merge hats,
or even like food and drinks.
Yeah, that was really fun.
That was, I think the first time
came up with something like this you know you don't you don't just walk in and just grab t-shirt
and you leave right you come in and you like have time to enjoy activities and just talk with people
and then you're like oh okay this is actually fun to hang around yeah it was actually a good system, actually a good one. I kind of like that.
I think every meetup we learn something new from the organizers.
So that's why I think the more meetups you go to,
the more, let's say, the pros and cons that you see,
and you can adapt and just use it in your in your own meetup in your
own region and that's kind of cool because like after the korean nut meetup i think um other
meetups after that kind of like learn that hey this system kind of works better than just you
know just giving away merch and then we have like so many creative ideas coming out of that yeah so that's cool okay um so yeah
um we we still talk about meet up so how many have you been to like you've been to
vietnam korea yeah i feel like um korea um then korea again then japan um i think just like this First, Vietnam, Korea, then Korea again, then Japan.
I think just like this, three countries, four times.
I attended Korea twice last year and this year.
And the next, I'll be going to have a Malaysia meetup and Vietnam meetup.
I think Malaysia on 20th, something I kind of forgot, but Vietnam's around the 2nd of August.
And I think, yep, we're going there as well.
I cannot say from Malaysia, but I would love to go there, but I follow all of my friends.
But I think we already planned for Vietnam.
And I hope you see everyone there because believe me, if you have a chance to attend
the meet up around your area or if you can spend to go there, I would recommend you to go there.
It's kind of a whole new experience.
I never thought I want to go to Vietnam,
to be honest, since the last year.
And things change when I joined Vietnam.
I kind of love that place so much
and I want to go there again.
Yeah, I think we've been talking about meetups because you
were also like the main organizer of the last tainat meetup in april and it was huge um even
though like the the conference that was um you know supposed to be um in on the same week got cancelled because of you know some natural disaster but we still got like
over 200 people I think 280 or something joining and yeah it was it was such a blast so that's why
I feel like you know you know you've been too many meetups you come back to your own local community and just like use all of the you know what you
learned to to make that meet up in thailand such a memorable um meet up yeah that's why
we've been talking about meetups um and yeah so um i think one thing that we can learn from your
t-shirt tweet is that we need to come up with something more creative than just T-shirts.
Yeah, especially not black and white one.
Like 90% of my collection is black.
I don't know how many how many monat t-shirts do you think are too many
for one person to own because i think you have probably like 20 or something that's like
you don't have to even buy more clothes anymore you just wear monat t-shirts
every day i use that as pajama as well.
I don't need a new one anymore.
We always get like t-shirts and tote bags.
I think we have to come up with something more creative,
you know, something more interactive and not just like t-shirts.
We're planning on that in,
yep i i and some of my thai next friends um planning to build something to make something
not just t-shirts and tote bag so if you guys want that see you in vietnam
nice okay i'm excited to see what it is um okay um let's get away from the meetup topic a little
bit so as many members know that you are in the rionart team yep um what what are you doing there
um at first i i just love i just love um the art style from Reigns.
I think he is here as well.
Yeah, I just want one-on-one PFP.
One-on-one PFP from that because it's kind of cute.
It's a chibi thing and art style is really unique.
And during the Tainet meets up, the last one at March, there's like, Sheen, Zillow X Sheen,
the project founder, he come to me and ask like, bro, how about you join the RealNets team?
Like they come a lot, Seven already also here.
Yeah, Seven is also one of the team.
So I work as like community,
what lead to get on board more people.
We have a lot of non-Nets and Nets there.
So I try to make some kind of strategy, event activity. Also the
idea to make this more popular. To be honest, I would say that compared to another project, NFT project in Mona, this is not that kind of popular yet,
but yeah, that's my job to make it there.
And it's kind of hard, not going to lie,
this is kind of first time I'm doing this,
but I wish one day I could make it.
We all start from somewhere, right?
And yeah, I think you're doing a pretty good job at, you know,
spreading the word about real nuts because I see real nuts everywhere.
I don't think this thing showing up at timeline.
I don't know. But if it show up just okay i feel good about
it and yeah this thing annoys you but yeah it's my job yeah also like at meetups i would see like
real nuts merge i mean um everywhere everywhere i go i'm not sure about the others here.
But yeah, I think you're doing a pretty good job at that.
Also on your Twitter, it says you're cooking on Mozi,
which is one of the eco project in the Monarch ecosystem.
So what are you doing there?
Is it similar to what you're doing at RealNuts?
It's kind of similar right now.
But at first, I and some of the Kainat friends,
I can endorse, we're doing some collab things.
And for some reason, we add more features on that thing. So we have to shift from Collab Managers to some kind of marketing and community team
or something too, because of the direction, because they have a new feature release.
They're planning to ship something else.
So we have to change the plan as well.
Yeah, that's kind of also the thing that I'm doing right now.
Currently, it is in the beta phase.
So, and I think, yeah, more coming.
So yeah, how come you got involved
the teams of two eco project system?
Let's say I asked you maybe advice for like people who are looking for, you know, looking
to get more involved in Monarch ecosystem teams and stuff like that.
How does someone, you know, look for this kind of opportunity or
like how can they start well this is very good question and it's also hard question at the same
time uh i mean i don't for for for my case i don't i don't seeking for this, but yeah, for some reason, there is some opportunity
comes to me and I just accepted.
For Mozi, there is like community, Meetup in Thailand, you know, I love Meetup thing.
And I joined there a lot and I kind of get close to some of the dev there and founder.
So one day we actually hang out, not just for meetup.
We go some, any other province like beach together.
And like just one day, bro,
are you interested to join us?
if you are looking for that, to be honest, I don't have experience on that things. I mean, I have several experience in Web3. So if you ask me for that advice,
it's kind of hard to say that.
I don't know why people are asking for me as well.
I think, you know, maybe it's hard to say, but I think what you do is that you make connections, right?
You put yourself out there.
You are open to opportunities and I think that's like
that makes a huge difference from like someone who just like sit online and just not trying to
connect with anyone you know so if you put yourself out there you make connections you
build relationship with other people around you you don't know like who you know one day maybe
they will have an opportunity for you and offer it to you.
So, yeah, I think that that's that's a difference.
I think it's like, yeah, I love kind of connection.
It's fun, but I don't I don't get connection because just I want a job or like that.
It's just like it just come to me without asking. I just I just love drinking with a job or like that. It's just like, it just comes to me without asking.
I just, I just love drinking with people.
I like talking with friends.
It's just like that, to be honest.
You talk so much when you drink.
I think like any project would be like, oh, look at this guy.
And he can like, he can make friends everywhere he goes.
He's going to be a good community manager,
So I think we have way now let's go into the community questions.
We've got the most questions so far for you,
I got like over 50 questions so I'm gonna need to pick
only some of them don't be mad yeah it's okay yeah there are like some random questions some
serious ones so I'm just gonna mix I'm gonna mix them both um Samin you know the bonard yeah the
bonard he asked Boba can you give me some hairs like 1693 strands i think it
would be enough for my head to recover from the bonus thank you i mean like what what what is that
metric and i don't know what it's like 1600 thing but if you got that you're not bound that anymore
No, no, he's asking from you.
how do I get them? It's okay.
I mean, Balnut is kind of like famous.
It's kind of thing right now in general.
I see this guy everywhere in general
I know you're not Bal, but it's
your character and I kind of like that
Yeah, I think people ask you about the hair because you have long hair.
You seem to have a lot to give.
Samin, you got your answer.
Momoflisa from Korean art asks,
How did you know Monat in the first place?
I think we already talked about this.
She also has a second question,
which is who is your favorite
among Pingping, Online Ling, and Shoeski?
I don't care. None of them. Are they listening? I don't care.
I mean, these guys are like the people you hang out with the most.
And you don't like any of them.
Ping Ping just keep farting.
It's not joking when I sleep there.
just come up and bro look at this and like detonate turn he turns off his bang and just
like fart on my face i was like bro shut up bro ah okay okay um it's it's good to know you guys
are really comfortable with each other
so yeah that's kind of the sign friendship goal right there um
think isaac he always leaves so many questions each time so um i'm going to pick some
what advice can you give to newbies for networking?
Okay, for networking, for me, I don't know if it works,
but I'm going to tell what I'm doing.
Okay, I think keep your name simple, like the simple one, unique one. You keep using your PFP, you're not changing a lot.
You're not changing a lot.
You try to interact with people.
At first you're going to feel like, okay, do I got gait or what?
You go to general, the chat is flying, you don't know who to talk with, but you can reply.
Not everyone reading everything in general chat, you have to find you can reply. And not everyone like reading everything in general chat, you have to
find some interesting topic. Like you just jump into the conversation by replying them or whatever
you want. Just get yourself into that conversation. And time after time, you keep it consistency.
And I believe one day people are going to remember you. And yeah, that's the thing.
And another thing is if you are new here,
you probably can go with reply guys in X.
I don't know most of them,
but there are some like two or three,
I mean, five reply guys. They keep replying me and not just me,
like they keep replying everyone. And one day they become famous for no reason. But because
everyone remember this name, remember this PFP. This is also the thing I think it works.
And another thing is like, if you have a chance, I already told about this. If you already made friends online, if you have a chance, if you can afford it, just trying to go to any meetup that you can go.
It's, I mean, online is already fun.
In this season, it's already fun.
But if you go to meetups, in life meets up it's another thing it's not just it doesn't
have to be like the big meetup there are some a lot of a lot of meets up mini meets up like the
the one initiated by being at the coffee we already had this thing this week as well you can go there like you you got a new friends on on on that thing as well
i think it's kind of kind of good yeah that's i can say yeah yeah um i love how you mentioned
about like keeping your name simple because no one is going to um remember like you know um
abc12345 or something like that you know it's just like every time I see
someone someone's name with a lot of numbers I'm like how am I gonna remember you or like
yeah I don't know this is a little alpha then for for some people that come that just like
join the community because if if you can't pronounce if people can't pronounce
your name or remember your name then it's going to be hard for them to recognize you and i think
that's like a good start to have a good name and unique profile picture
all right okay um i think i think i think you got your answer so i.k i.k ask you have been in the
monite community for one year what are you doing on monite apart from yapping oh um yeah i think
i already talked about that uh yeah yeah from yapping yep i got some work i got some i. Yeah. I got some work.
I got, I enjoy overseas that I never want to go there.
It's like, yeah, like a lot of connection.
I get a lot from from this place
so you like some places you never wanted to go but then you went and then you
enjoyed it right there's this yeah there's this one question actually from online link he asked
um i heard a rumor you said you don't enjoy traveling to Korea. Is that true?
No, it's not. It's like a false rumor. I don't know who told him to this. And he keep
saying this thing to me every time we met in real life. And yeah, he tried to bring me to
fantasy place, fantasy restaurant, fantasy cafe, a lot of things. He's driving me to all over the place, like, like the whole week because of this thing.
And well, I didn't say that.
I don't know who said this to you, but not me.
At first, I don't, I don't want to go Korean because I don't, I don't know K-drama.
I don't know like K-pop things i only into japan
but yeah that's my experience like it's changed because this guy because this guy
because online link um he's very accommodating yeah and yeah we stay at his place so we save a lot of airbnb thing like for a whole week
um i think this is like a one of the benefits of like having not friends everywhere around the
world like you go there and you know you're gonna find a friend there and you know because they are
local they know like where to where to go they know which restaurants
are good um they might be able to take you there as well on you know it's just uh win-win i think
yeah that's a lot of things yeah we've been trying to do this in thailand as well so if you guys come
to thailand just being as we bring to the we bring you to the good place yeah actually there
are a lot of foreigner friends coming to Thailand.
We just hang out together.
We drink and we go eat something good, something fancy.
Doesn't need to be fancy as well.
I remember the last time I was in Vietnam, we just like, we, we just ate pho.
I think I pronounced it correctly.
Pho together at 3am, just like a street pho, you know,
And we had such a great time together at 3am. So, yeah.
I think that that's, that's like a place where you can bond the most,
you know, just eating street food together,
sit and talk and just like have fun.
Okay, I think we're running out of time.
So I'm just going to pick a few more.
Shio Mai from Indonaut, he asked,
when will Boba start filming the Harry Potter sequel
Is there a law behind this Asian Snape?
I don't know who started calling me Asian Snape,
but I think one of the Indos guys,
they see me with long hair,
old face, something, and looks like snap and one day they
just compare my face and with the the snape i'm sorry he already date but i think okay um yeah i
just look like that guy but yo probably you guys give me metrics adaptation asian snape but shot okay i love how you just
said he's already dead um the rest in peace i mean i i love him i love his character yeah yeah
um but yeah asian snape that's that's interesting i think it's because like your, your long hair as well. It helps a lot with the, with that look.
You tweeted about, you know, asking people not to ask your height.
So Pokemonite, he asked on a banana scale, how many bananas tall are you?
Sorry, Pokemonite. I'm not not american i don't use that metric um we use centimeters so in the scale of banana i gotta ask chat gpt
i'm sorry all right all right um okay i think a few more questions jonathan from indonauts again who do you think will be
faster if there is a wheelchair race race between online link and jonathan
wait wait backstory so online link um you know got injury on his leg and couldn't walk for a long
time from a football match in thailand and then Jonathan also got a knee injury, I think,
Yeah. I think everyone keep, keep, keep having this thing.
Drakey King Louis online link.
And now it's a curse. It's like, it's a curse.
Man right now for husband of, of what? I don't know, but yes.
Yeah, who would be faster in a wheelchair race?
I don't know. We're gonna see that in rabbit spot or something in Vietnam.
We should make this happen.
Yeah, get two wheel shares and
and do this organize the race yeah let's do this
okay um last one yeah okay i skipped a lot
um glitter which i don't think this is glitter i think it's pop not again pop not always
impersonating someone he's impersonating my dog right now on monad discord he changed his name
to finn's dog good choice oh i feel bad for my job um he he asked do you have long hair since childhood? And if not, then why did you decide to have such hair?
Okay, okay. It's about the Thai culture.
So, you know, like in Thailand, when we are in middle school, we don't allow to have long hair.
For some reason, I don't know. But we we only have like skinhead and I don't think
it fits my face so I instead of I joined high school which is also don't allow us to have long
hair so I joined like evening class like we still study three hours a day just to have a long hair
study three hours a day just to have a long hair just just like that and okay I don't have
I cannot afford to to cut my hair every two weeks so I keep it like this and yeah and I kind of love
of Harry Potter Snape I want to be Asian Snape someday so yeah this is the story behind my hair
story behind my hair. So do you think you will cut your hair at some point? I mean I do cut but
not this more short. I mean I keep it around my neck. Interesting interesting. Okay so not from
not from childhood. Yeah. Not that far back. okay like 15 years ago or something
okay pop now you got your answer yeah um okay i think yeah we still got like for probably 40
questions but um i think you're gonna have to reply to them personally um there are a lot of
really really fun and random questions that I
wanted to say here, but we don't have time anymore. So before we go, do you have anything
that you want to say to the Monarch community? Community? Or the audience here?
So, okay. Thank you everyone for being here. So, That's it.
I have no idea what that means.
I studied Japanese for two years and I forgot everything.
Maybe you can write that, the meaning in Monadiscord.
It's chocolate pie signatures and I kind of like that. Oh, okay. That's good Mona Discord. It's a random thing. It's chocolate pie signatures, and I kind of like that.
Yeah, when she finished the show, I keep asking her to speak this,
and I kind of like this when we end the show.
I'm going to try to learn this as well.
Thank you so much, Boba, for being my guest today.
And I love how honest and how straightforward you are.
And that's why it's such a fun space.
See you guys in Vietnam, 2nd of August.
