Hi guys, good evening, good morning.
Okay, starting with FlixTalk70, just wait for a bunch of guys more to join here.
And we have Liam, some members of the Flix crew, some of our creators also here.
And of course, DataSpaces.
Yeah, it'll just take 1-2 minutes more till everyone joins and then we'll start this week's
How's everyone doing?
Just while we wait for everyone to come on board.
Shev, Cheaton, hope you're both doing well.
What's up, Liam?
Yeah, how you doing, Shev?
You doing okay?
Doing very well, man.
How are you?
Yeah, good, good, thanks.
We've had the most amazing weather here in the UK the last week, so it's been great.
Can't complain.
Here too, man.
Like, allergy season has not been too terrible this year in the northeastern US.
I don't know if you guys get allergies in the UK, but.
Yeah, we get a lot of pollen and stuff around this time of year.
So if you have like hay fever, it's quite bad.
I don't know if you get that yourself.
Yeah, no, I get the whole asthma thing, the allergic asthma.
It's always fun.
Do you guys get allergies, like allergy seasons over in India?
Oh, you asked about the weather over here and trust me, no virus can move in this weather.
No virus can move in this weather because right now we are, you know, boiling at around 40
degrees centigrade.
So forget allergies.
No virus can move in that temperature is what I'm trying to say, yeah.
That's hot.
You've got to be basically allergic to heat at that temperature.
Seriously.
So, yeah, this is like we are in like peak of our summers here and it's like, yeah, we're
I think the summers are going to end in like next week or two and just waiting for the
rain to start.
So we kind of experience all the weathers here in the Indian subcontinent.
Oh, you guys get like a really bad rainy season?
Oh, yeah, there are sometimes it's it's floods.
And, you know, sometimes like in the same country itself, we also experience snowfall
and we experience like floods, we experience like droughts.
Do you get typhoons?
Do you get typhoons?
Not as such.
Not typhoons.
I would say more like hurricanes on the coastal regions.
Yeah, I think that's more.
I thought hurricanes or typhoons are just what they call hurricanes in the Pacific.
I think that has to do with more like what like typhoons are the ones that are hurricanes
in a water body, right?
No, I just thought that I just thought they call them like hurricanes in the east and typhoons
in the west.
But I guess not.
We usually have hurricanes because a lot of the destruction on the coastal regions is
because of heavy rain and the wind and less more like a mass body of water just moving
and hitting the land.
Like that happens, but not as much.
So we don't use it.
Well, there's some weather insights for everybody on Flikstalk.
How's that?
And I don't think we have allergy season also here because yeah, I don't know.
It's just pollen allergies is not.
It's the same with most of a mass population not having peanut allergy as well.
It's just almost unknown.
Well, let me throw it back to our host, Liam.
Yeah, I just put a picture actually below the space just of the views from my flat here
in the UK.
You can see it's like perfect sunshine.
There's a little bit of the sea in the photo you can see as well.
So if any of you is kind of like outside or you can get some good photos where you are
right now, tuning in, do leave them as a comment on the space.
We'd love to see, you know, where everyone's tuning in from, where everyone is right now.
So yeah, that'd be great if anyone, anyone wants to do that.
But aside from that, are we all, are we all set to go?
Is everyone ready to kick off the show?
Fantastic.
All right, great.
So yeah, I'll just quickly welcome everyone once again.
So welcome to FlixTalk number 70.
So yeah, we've had a lot of, a lot of FlixTalks now, actually.
So great job so far.
Many more to come, of course.
So obviously, good morning, good afternoon, good evening to everyone here today, whether
you're, you know, from the US, from the UK, from India, or from somewhere else in the
world all together.
It's great to have so many different people tuning in from so many different places.
I see a lot of regulars actually in the space today.
I see Terra Spaces, Mr. Fox, Tardigrade, Sandy, Cheaton and Cheb yourselves, of course.
Dea listening in.
I see Darklight, who I think I've seen quite a few times as well.
If you are a regular, Pavan as well.
Just throw our heart into the space now so we can see you.
And yeah, huge shout out to basically all of you tuning in.
All of the supporters of the OmniFlix ecosystem.
That's the builders, the Flix crew, the fanatics, node hosts, creators, collectors, partners,
and so on.
And a special thanks to Terra Spaces, who's going to archive this space.
So you can actually listen to this back on repeat on Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Apple
Music, which is great.
So if there's any alpha, you know, coming your way today and you miss it or you forget
what it was, you can always go back and check it out.
So I think mostly what we have today is a lot of community updates from what Cheaton was
saying to me earlier.
We have a lot of community updates today.
And we'll also have some engineering updates a bit later from Sysler as well.
So yeah, let's just kick things off and get straight into our community updates, Cheaton,
whenever you're ready.
All set, Liam.
Thank you so much.
And as always, you're doing a great job with hosting of FlixTalk.
And yes, congratulations to all of us for reaching to number 70.
This shows our consistency and commitment towards doing things.
Moving on to our updates.
Let me start with the ticketing updates first.
As you all know that we have been supporting ticketing for different events across the Cosmos ecosystem and outside.
We've been talking to different creators and different events, both on-ground events and digital events are using our ticketing platform where one can buy tickets, both including fiat and crypto.
So that is the USP of our ticketing D app.
Awesome Wassum, which is happening in Berlin on July 11th and 12th, is using our ticketing D app.
Awesome Wassum, which is happening on July 21st in Paris, is also using ticketing powered by Omniflix.
Nebula Summit, which is happening on July 24th and 25th, happening in Paris, is also using ticketing supported by Omniflix.
Awesome Wassum, it's in Fiat, it's through PayPal and for Osmocon, you can buy a ticket in Osmo as well as in Fiat.
And for Nebula Summit, again, you can buy your ticket in Atom and Fiat.
And we have added another event this week. This event is happening in Philippines, it is happening on July 9th and a community is doing this event.
And the event is called as Frolic Block. Here, the event, the thing is, the tickets for this event, this particular event is basically very less.
I'm like the creator, the client wanted to give tickets basically for free of cost, but he wanted to have legitimate details and proper people, you know, legitimate people participating and coming to the event.
So what we did to make it very simple, we don't have like a ticketing UI, UI as such, but the client has used Omniflix TV as a mechanism to get the details for the event.
So what he did, he used the TV and he asked some interactive questions on TV, he took some details of the audience, like their name, their email address, and their contact number.
And emails would be directly generated to this, to the people who have given their details.
And on the event site, there would be again a D-app, where again, the ticketing D-app is coming into the picture.
So our ticketing D-app also has a scanner, where, you know, even team on ground can scan these tickets and get all the details of people who have registered, who have checked in all at one place in the app.
So they're using half of the back end of the ticketing system, the scanning, you know, the mechanism, the D-app, they're using that for the event, but not the front end UI.
So they're going to scan all these tickets. And later, after the event is over, all the attendees, so once they scan the ticket, we'll know which codes, which ticket codes have come to the event, have checked in at the event.
We have their email addresses, so, and their account addresses as well, while they were participating in the interactive video.
So NFT would be dropped after the event, to all these attendees who have joined the event.
What kind of stuff is going to be happening at the event over in the Philippines? It's actually quite interesting. Do you have any more information on it?
Yes, I'll try to share the event promo here in the space.
It's, it's, it's more of a, you know, even kind of a event and a party kind of a environment where they have conference, it's happening at a beach side. So they have conferences going on.
They have talks going on from their last, you know, that's what we understood from their last event. But yeah, we're trying to also inculcate a lot of artists, a lot of creators, a community members also into this event.
And we have been, Ken has been very instrumental. It was Ken's client. So Ken was very instrumental in getting these people on board.
He's also helping them to find any partners, you know, from the Cosmos ecosystem to represent at the event.
So there's a lot of things happening. Yeah.
Yeah. I wonder if, if Shev has got any extra information for us, but if not, I'm actually just curious whereabouts in the Philippines it is as well.
Um, I actually went to the Philippines in 2019. I think it was, I believe it's, I believe it's in Mati city. If I'm not mistaken.
Okay. Which, um, which area of the Philippines is that in?
Uh, it's right on, it's like right on the beach of Mati city. Uh, M A T I city.
Oh, okay. Yeah.
No, I'm not, my geography is not so great though.
Ah, it's in Davao. Okay. Yeah. Davao is actually meant to be really, really nice.
Yes. I actually didn't go to that area. Davao DeFi, I believe is the name of the community.
And while we talk about it, uh, Tango puts an image of a Filipino feast in the comments.
And trust me, their food is really good.
I've heard, I've heard, I've heard.
Never tried it though. Might have to go, might have to fly out there for Davao DeFi.
Yeah, I can recommend visiting for sure in the Philippines. Like it's amazing.
Um, obviously some of the built up cities are like, um, you know, some of them are quite, quite busy.
Like Manila wasn't my favorite place, which is the capital, but like some of the beaches and some of the, uh, other areas like Cebu and apparently, um, Davao is like really, really nice as well.
So yeah, totally recommend, uh, if you're in that part of the world, great country to go to and, uh, super affordable as well, which is always helpful.
If you know any people in the cosmos that are down that way, definitely, um, let me know.
Cause they're definitely, they're looking for speakers and sponsors as well.
So if you need, if you want an excuse to go down to the Philippines again, they, I'm sure they'd love to have you as a speaker.
I think it's just, uh, the timing I can't do, uh, where it's so soon, but, um, my friend lives in the Philippines.
So I'll definitely be there at some point.
I've got to remember to, uh, to catch up with the, the, like the Davao DeFi like community when I go.
A hundred percent.
Um, Cheetah, do you have any more updates for us though, or anything else you'd like to add to, to what, you know, we're talking about regarding the Philippines?
So, uh, yeah, so that's what, uh, was about the event in Philippines.
I kind of, uh, you know, uh, wanted to stress upon, uh, how the, uh, event organizer is actually, uh, using interactive TV to get data, uh, of people.
And, uh, upon their, uh, you know, upon their wish, obviously, uh, and, uh, dropping them NFTs later or contacting them, sending them registration tickets, uh, to, uh, their emails directly for the event.
Uh, uh, less clutter for, uh, the community as well, just for, you know, something like maybe, maybe someone just want to send tickets to their community and want details.
Maybe just send them a video, put some questions, record the data and generate tickets and send it to their emails.
Pretty simple way.
Apart from that, uh, uh, yeah, that's what, that's, that's what the ticketing part, uh, Liam.
Fantastic.
I was going to say actually on the, on the subject of tickets, I, uh, I actually bought my tickets to Osmocon and, uh, Nebula Summit, uh, yesterday.
Um, and I used the, um, well, I assume it was, is powered by OmniFlix there.
The, uh, the front end that I use, uh, I paid in, I paid in, um, fiat currency though.
I didn't want to spend my precious atom, but, uh, yeah, I assume that's your front end that I used.
So not just the front end, the whole mechanism of, uh, generating the ticket, getting you, you got a ticket on your, as soon as you bought a ticket, you got a ticket on your email, a PDF copy.
Uh, and then once you take the copy and go to the event, you'd be checked in using another app by the event management team over there.
So all this entire cycle is, uh, uh, you know, done by OmniFlix and, uh, this entire cycle would be taken up to a next level in, uh, uh, coming up Cosmoverse.
Brilliant.
Certainly going to be, uh, using the front and back end for that.
I'll be, uh, securing my tickets as soon as those are available.
Look forward to that for sure.
Uh, yeah, there's a lot of discussion going on, uh, in that end as well, uh, regarding Cosmoverse and would be, uh, letting you, letting the community know details very soon on this.
Apart from that, uh, coming back to collections part, uh, we had, uh, last week, we had, uh, FlixBets, Fight Farm Boxing, Jake vs. Neat, uh, collection, uh, launched last week.
And, uh, visited, uh, and, and so, uh, uh, Samantha and this week.
Uh, and this week we had, uh, uh, NFT, uh, and NFT.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, episode, uh, it's, uh, NFT, happy hour.
Uh, show which happened, uh, with Jo and Maria, uh, proof of NFT.
Uh, uh, uh, participation NFT was dropped to, uh, uh, you know, all the, uh, participants of that episode, uh, uh, uh, soulbound NFTs were dropped.
we had Arrival. Again, it is another collection by Tangled. We would request Tangled to come
onto the space and speak in detail about this collection. And next week, we have a few
collections scheduled. NecroGothic, it's another collection by one of our creators, Bijan,
who has done several collections like Chaotic Skull and others in the past. And we have
another new creator who would be minting their, listing his collection on Omnitlix. Fender
Cosmos is the creator's Twitterite. So World Series is the collection name and that collection
is again scheduled for next week. So we, you know, every Wednesday, 2 p.m. UTC, Flickstalk
is more about technical updates, community updates as well. But we talk about NFTs and
collections and discuss more about all these collections and NFTs, what is going to come
in brief in our Friday spaces in the studio. And yeah, that's with the collection. But
yes, before I move on and give the stage to Tangled, I wanted to just give an update, important
update to everyone that Flick's Fridays, our campaign of, you know, NFTs is going to start
this Friday. This Friday would be the first edition. Liam, can I go ahead and give some
details about Flick's Friday?
Oh, please. Yeah, absolutely. Go ahead.
All right. So Flick's Fridays is a campaign which would be held every Friday, first Friday
of every month. And here you would get, you know, our creators as well, creators of Omnitlix,
they, they, for only for that, you know, band of a day, they delist and relist their collections
at exclusive prizes. They dropped new collections, new NFTs on this particular day at exclusive
prizes. And people who want to buy some NFTs or look forward some really good NFTs, Flick's
Fridays is the space. For one complete day, we would be having a campaign where you'd be
seeing NFTs listed under, you know, $5 or less. On Marketplace campaign page, all these
NFTs would be, you know, you'd be able to see all those NFTs. And as I said, a few creators
are going to delist and relist their NFTs. A few creators have already planned new collections
for this day. Flick's Friday is a campaign which happens every Friday, just one day in
a month. And that would be the first Friday. Yeah.
So based on that, the, when is the first Flick's Friday? Is it actually the second, the one coming
And just to clarify, that's, that's the first Friday of every month, not every Friday.
Yeah, perfect. That's what I had as well from, from, from, from what Jaden was saying. So
yeah, that's a great initiative. Did you say every NFT is $5 or less?
Yes. Under that campaign, not all the NFTs on Marketplace, but a few creators, they tend
to, you know, just change the price of their NFTs for that one particular day. Again, after
the day the prices are, they go up again, or it's the choice of the creator. A few creators
launch collections only for that day. So that's what is happening only for a, you know, a band
of a day. These exclusive NFTs would be available at exclusive prices.
Yeah, fantastic. I mean, that's a great initiative as far as I'm concerned, especially if you're
a collector and you're quite like engaged with, with OmniFlix and you're following when everything's
going on. You could be one of the first people in on a Friday and pick yourself up a really
good deal. So yeah, I'm actually curious myself, is there like any, any kind of process by which
you select which NFTs are discounted or which creators you work with or which collections
are highlighted, you know, in this like discount Friday?
Yeah. So what happens Liam here is that once you, you know, go to OmniFlix marketplace,
so you on the top, you see home marketplace and collections tab, right? So there would be another
tab. And also there would be, you know, on the, on the landing page, there would be a banner,
which will take you to the campaign page. So in the campaign page, you will find all these NFTs,
which would be, you know, refreshed every, uh, in equal interval. So you'll be finding all this
NFTs under the price band over there in the, uh, campaign page.
That fabulous. Yeah. Thanks for answering that. In that case, um, anyone listening,
obviously when the campaign starts, look out for that page, uh, over on the marketplace. Brilliant.
Okay. Um, have you got any more updates for us, Cheetan, in terms of your side,
or is that kind of everything covered, uh, from your side of things? Well, I am done with the,
you know, with respective collections and, uh, you know, campaigns. If you are an artist listening
to this space and, uh, looking to create your collection, collection creation is a fairly simple
process. I normally think there are, uh, different guides as well, but still, if you want to work with
Flix Crew, and if you want to understand what are the best practices of, uh, uh, minting your collection
and what are the best practices of the collection, so that your collection get curated on, on Flix
Market, do reach out to us, uh, DM us. If you're a community or looking to give, uh, proof of
participation, proof of attendance, NFTs to your community members for their spaces or calls,
et cetera, reach out to us. If you are a corporate who wants to give, uh, you know, certain certificates,
you know, uh, the, uh, employee of the year awards, stuff like that to your team members as NFTs,
reach out to us. We are just a DM away. And, uh, now I would request Tangle to please, uh,
get onto the stage and tell us about, uh, the activity collection, please.
Hey, good evening, everyone. Was that, was that all the updates there, Liam and, and Chaitan?
Yes, from my side.
Yeah, so please go ahead, Tangle. I think that was everything.
Yeah, so, um, you know, there's not much for me to say at my end, but obviously if you are paying
attention or you've been participating in the StreamSwap events, um, I've been, uh, I've been
creating and crafting NFT collections for the various StreamSwap events. The first one obviously
was the Flix Osmo. That was the Flix token launch and everyone that participated in that with at least
10 Osmo. They got a special edition StreamSwap Osmo IBC game deck. Um, but we've moved on and,
and the more recent StreamSwap event was the Flix Atom event. And, you know, I've been releasing a,
a few cryptic messages. I didn't want to say too much about it. It wasn't really something that
we're advertising to incentivize participation. You know, it's more, again, just giving back and
saying thank you for participating in these events. Um, and this one was a little bit different
than the StreamSwap. It, it's not, um, it's not categorized or it wasn't about the IBC game theme.
It was more about the, uh, collaboration, the unity between Atom and Flix and the StreamSwap
event, which is obviously on Osmosis. So this collection has been crafted in that way. So if you
want to go to OmniFlix and if you participated in that StreamSwap event, you, you might notice
a drop. Um, there are a number of rarities ranging from, uh, quite super common to very,
very rare, um, short films. Um, the distribution, I'll just quickly go through at the moment, but
there's, uh, five different categories at the moment. There's antiquated, retrofied, alienated,
flix photo and flix footage, which is a short film. And the rarities, uh, range significantly.
Uh, the drops have been random, randomized completely, uh, and they've been dropped to
everyone's wallet. So if you want to check that out, there's also, uh, they're completely
different, uh, themes that have been crafted completely differently. They have different
traits as well. I know, um, Chev was talking about traits and trying to emphasize the use of
traits and really take, take, um, uh, you know, more creators, uh, utilizing those traits. So,
you know, we're trying to implement that a little bit more, but again, the, the baseline story of
arrival is we've taken the concept of, uh, atom and the recent, you know, atom economic zone and a lot
of the things happening in the cosmos hub space. And on top of that, you know, OmniFlix coming into its
own and really starting to explore, uh, the universe. So, you know, I took that concept and
turn it into arrival. So the, the scene that set is a OmniCraft coming from the OmniFlix universe and
kind of docking and landing in the city of Atomica, you know, just like a little play on words there for
the cosmos hub. But basically if you go to the OmniFlix marketplace and have a look at the collection
that's just launched, should be on the, on the homepage arrival, have a look, see if you've got
something in your wallet. And, um, again, a big thanks from, uh, Tangled NFTs and OmniFlix for
participating in the latest StreamSwap event.
Great initiative, um, Tangled. Uh, I know obviously you did a great job of your initial drop,
um, for the Flix Osmo stream. And now of course this drop, uh, Flix Atom. Um, yeah, I think it's
really cool. I was just taking a look over, um, a few images from, um, the Notion card that I
received, um, from Cheaton. And yeah, they look quite interesting. So I'd be really interested to
see the, uh, the NFTs once they're finished and distributed. Um, do you know when, or you might've
said, I might've just missed, uh, when are the, um, when are the NFTs distributed or has that already
happened? Yep. So everyone should have got them by now. I, um, minted them last night,
dropped them to about 1,307 wallets again, using that amazing, uh, bulk mint facility or mechanism
on the, uh, OmniFlix studio. They're, they're, the guys are way too quick. Like I, I just got used
to the bulk mint, um, UI just a couple of weeks ago. And then I'm looking at it today and I'm
like, you know, in the last 24 hours I was looking at, I was like, this is, it's already upgraded.
You know, they're, they keep shifting, they keep moving, they keep, they keep shipping out
like UI and, um, little UI updates here and then little, um, little upgrades in terms of
like usability. I'm really excited for OmniFlix TV. I know a lot of content creators are waiting
for that. Um, so yeah, if, if they're shipping at this rate, um, really can't wait for that to launch.
Fantastic. Yeah. Almost sounded like you're, you're saying they're shipping too fast. They're
tangled, you know, maybe they need to slow down. Of course, I'm only joking, but yeah.
Yeah, look, definitely don't slow down, but you know, I'm just a bit of a smooth brain here and,
you know, I'm like slowly just getting around it and then there's already upgrades. So I just think
I just need to speed up really. But, um, look, keep, keep up the good work guys. Like I know
some, you know, there's been again, like a bit of this trend of negativity on crypto Twitter. And,
um, I just, there's, there's a lot of positive things happening in the space, particularly around
OmniFlix. And you can see AKT, you know, a lot of stuff happening in Akash and there's just so much
positive stuff going on. So, uh, I think it's great that, you know, we can highlight a lot of
those, those good things and a lot of the tech shipping. And I think we just need to get that
message out that, yeah, there's like all this stuff happening. So ignore the noise.
Uh, wise words there, Tangled wise words. So, uh, really appreciate that and, um, look forward to
more, uh, updates from you in terms of the NFT collections, uh, that you're bringing, uh, to OmniFlix.
And of course, you know, the, the IBC game that you're still working on. So, um, yeah,
obviously looking forward to more updates there. Um, do you have anything else you wanted to add
quickly, Tangled? Because if not, and the same goes for Cheaton and Chev, because if not, I'll,
uh, be going over to Sisler for some engineering updates.
Yeah. Okay. So I think I haven't, uh, just a couple of updates is in terms of the IBC game app
and Flixverse. Um, maybe one day if, I don't know if it's today, but you should, um, call
Pavan up from the Occupy games. You should get him up here talking about it. Give us some alpha
because I'm waiting for some alpha as well from him. Um, anyone that's participating in the IBC
game, learn to play campaign. There's only, there's less than 10 hours left for you to get some games.
And, um, you know, there's a hundred Flix on the line. There's like NFT bundles. And then again,
I would just want to thank there's over a hundred participants. There could be more at the moment
who participated in the, uh, IBC game, learn to play tutorial, which is on OmniFlix TV.
That's going to be ending. Chev's going to lock that off in probably less than 48 hours. So
huge, like, I think there's over 150, 200 Flix being given out. There's, um, OG like NFT bundles
being given out from, um, IBC mafia and, um, fantastical animals. And there's a whole bunch
of stuff, uh, being given out in the next 48 hours. So please, if you were thinking about
participating, you don't have much time, so get around it. Thank you very much.
I've, uh, I've actually just invited Pavan onto the stage just in case he does have any updates
for us. Uh, Pavan, if you're listening, you're welcome to come and chat and share some of your
updates around, um, Flixverse and, uh, any other updates. But if not, um, we can simply
move on, um, and always come back to you later, or we can save that entirely for another space.
You know, it's not like we're going anywhere. There'll be plenty more spaces to come.
With that said, um, shall we move on then to Sysla and, uh, get some updates from you,
Sysla in terms of engineering. Um, are you there at Sysla Festival?
Nicely done, Shav. Nicely done. Sysla, please go ahead.
Thank you. Uh, Shav, that is like too embarrassing, if I can say that.
But at the same time, uh, thank you. You know, thank you for the grand welcome.
Uh, I know I wasn't like exactly around before the space, uh, for, uh, yeah, for some time. Uh, I just
like got knocked off and, you know, woke up with my alarm going off just before the space. Took a cold
shower and like, uh, made sure to like attend the space. So thank you all for, uh, starting the space,
uh, sharing all of your updates. I know super is, uh, a bit unwell today. Uh, the fanatic updates,
uh, you know, you might not hear from any of us regarding the fanatic updates, but, uh, they
went ahead and, uh, conducted, hosted the events, organized the events exactly as planned. The Thursday
quiz, uh, the Friday, no, of course the interaction with creators, uh, we had the Sunday quiz, sorry,
we had the Sunday quiz as well, uh, and the Monday AMA. So, you know, like kudos to the fanatics
for making sure that the schedule was in place and went ahead without any disruption. Uh, that
being said, uh, yeah, I'm like pretty, so this time I do not have like a lot of updates, but
the updates that I have are like a bit deeper. Uh, first, let me start off by sharing an insight
into the protocol engineering aspects. Uh, there was the Huckleberry update, uh, that is actually
happening right now. Uh, we're utilizing IBCV3, the, the, the Huckleberry patch. Like for those,
uh, that might or might not be aware, validators will definitely be aware. Uh, they've been like
patching various chains, uh, with this update, but that is now live. So if you are a validator,
uh, validating the Omniflix hub, uh, please check the mainnet validators channel on discord
so that you have enough information to take this forward. So this is the Huckleberry patch,
uh, that's, uh, ongoing right now. We have, uh, uh, multiple validators that confirmed as well.
So yeah, that is for the validators and the node hosts and the people that are running RPCs,
uh, or full nodes of archive nodes, uh, on the Omniflix network. Right. So that is the first update
that we have. Then, uh, we are preparing for the Flix drop. Now, what do we mean by preparing? I think
you've been hearing about this for two weeks now. Uh, we are on track, like May end was when we
wanted to like, make sure we release it for like public testing on, uh, the devnet. Uh,
we have the devnet ready. We just like spend some time working on the Huckleberry patch as well.
So in the next few days, you should be able to go ahead and, uh, yeah, like test it on the devnet.
If you are a developer and can access through the CLI, but in about, I'll say 10 days from now, uh,
uh, or sooner, you should be able to like utilize the UI to interact with the interact to claim the
campaigns and the same day modules. So yeah, more about these in a, probably in a, in an independent
article, uh, but you will have a UI. You do not need to be a developer to interact with anything that
Omniflix is building. And this is also no exception. So you should be able to utilize studio to create a
campaign, uh, set up a campaign. And what do I mean by that? You should be able to configure it to take
the input of an NFT, set an interaction type, which is like hold or transfer or burn and, uh,
have an output set that will, you know, with the input of an NFT, you can receive what is a fungible
token, uh, what is an NFT of both. Right? So in simple words, uh, this covers what is being prepared for,
uh, or whatever is being worked on for flickstop and beyond. So more updates on this, uh, going
forward or in the next few days, um, before it is ready for public testing and, uh, yeah, public
testing, this is, there is no incentivized testnet or anything on those lines. This is, yeah.
Who will probably be more interested to test anything with respect to the flickstop?
It'll be people that already received NFTs as part of the flickstop campaign and they will also
receive NFTs on testnet. So they can like test it out and understand whatever is happening on testnet
and the process to claim so that they're less anxious on mainnet day, right? On, on the, uh,
mainnet when they're executing it. So this is, uh, you know, in prep for the flickstop,
the interactive claim and the stream pay modules, uh, have been worked on, still are being worked on,
uh, but a version has been pushed to devnet and the indexer, the back, the data layer team or the
indexer, uh, has been worked on still ongoing work. Uh, and now the design updates are also done and the
front end team is actually developing the UI and connecting it with the blockchain. So in the next 10
days, you should be able to access the same. So yeah, with that Liam, I'll take a break here and
stop. Uh, any quick questions or thoughts? Uh, I had one. Um, I was just wondering, um, if you tested
out the modules yourself, sister, I was wondering what your thoughts are on, on the interactive claim
and stream pay so far? Oh yeah. Uh, okay. I'll, I'll say I'm a bit lazy to like play around with
the CLA at this point in time. Fortunately for me, I have like a super techie partner in Daya, uh,
who takes care of that and like a fabulous team, uh, from an engineering standpoint where the front end,
the back end, the protocol engineering teams, and of course the, they've all tested that. So I'm like
anxious free and I'm like masquerading and taking credibility for all the updates myself. Uh,
what do I think about that? I'm like super stoked. I'll tell you why. The interactive claim module
and stream pay modules, these are two independent modules. Interactive claim can be utilized by
any collector, any creator, a community member. And, uh, yeah, essentially anyone that actually has
NFTs to be able to create these campaigns where there is, they accept an input NFT and they either,
you know, give out fungible NFT, like fungible tokens or, uh, an NFT again, uh, or both. So I'll give you
a quick example. If there is a tardigrade NFT that's actually being used as input, tardigrades can drop, uh,
uh, I think he's, he's usually in the Joe community. So if tardigrades, uh, uh, the founder or the team
wants to drop a Joe NFT to every tardigrade holder, right now, the process is to like export all the
accounts and just drop an NFT to all of them. That is okay. But tardigrade holders can come down to
Omniflex market and claim a Joe NFT as well, or, you know, something like that. It can be an edition NFT
that their community can claim. And this way you don't drop NFTs unnecessarily. And the total number
of NFTs depends on the total number of people that claim. And if not all of them claim your supply is
lower and you'll only have the most interested ones, uh, engaging with you. So this is like a way
in which tardigrades, the team can utilize, uh, you know, what is a, what is the interactive claim
campaign. Now, if I'm not a tardigrades, uh, or if I do not have a collection myself,
I should be able to go ahead and, uh, I should be able to like create a small campaign for
swapping my NFT for fungible tokens. Uh, I mean, this is not an overkill. Like you'll see how this
will work in the UI, but what will happen is I can go ahead and create a campaign, uh, for say 10
atom, uh, one tardigrade and whoever is, uh, uh, or rather reverse, I'm sorry. I can place like a
collection offer where the entire, you know, the entire set of people that hold a tardigrade
can go ahead and accept an offer, you know, uh, where they can then, you know, use their tardigrade
to swap for say 10 atom, right? So this is another way where even people that are not creators can
utilize, uh, the interactive claim campaign. And finally for the flicks drop, right? We will be
setting up a model or, you know, of course, after community consensus, after governance, we will be
setting up a model where the campaign is funded with flicks and people can come down, utilize their
NFTs or rather burn their NFTs in this specific process as part of this campaign and receive the
flicks. So this way all burnt NFTs increase the rarity of existing ones that are not burnt and the
people that actually are the community members that actually burnt those NFTs will receive flicks,
uh, either instantly or like streamed to them. So this is how like a campaign typically works.
Like, you know, all of this needs to be, you know, jotted down well, there needs to be like better
documentation. Of course, the media team will be working on videos as well so that every creator,
community member, community is fully aware of what is happening. And just so that like they don't burn
their NFTs unnecessarily. Uh, yeah, the interaction types are also like multiple over here. You can
like verify if you hold an NFT, you can like transfer an NFT. You can also go ahead and burn an NFT,
uh, to be able to claim. So this is like
Uh, can anyone still hear Sisler?
He just stopped talking.
Yeah, we lost you there, Sisler.
No, no, he just like now stopped talking. I think he was gone.
Yeah, he just stopped talking. Can you hear me?
Yeah, I can hear you now. I wonder if it was just my niche just cut off slightly early or something.
Yeah, I was on a roll. Like I was like talking in the flow. I would be pretty disappointed if,
you know, someone told me that they didn't hear me. But yeah, I'm glad. You know,
thanks for the confirmation, Ken.
No problem.
Yeah, please, um, continue Sisler. Yeah, all good.
Yeah, Liam, does that answer your question as to?
Yeah, it was, um, really comprehensive, actually. So, um, great answer.
Sure, sure.
I wouldn't expect anything less.
Yeah, there's no like one line answer, you know, pretty difficult sometimes, but, uh, sure.
That being said, uh, what else, uh, has happened, uh, in the past seven days, seven to 10 days?
We've had the foundation delegations batch one that was processed. So this includes, uh, this is,
this is the delegation grant that has been processed for node hosts that have been running
their main net validator since Genesis, just after Genesis, uh, or even in some cases, uh,
right after the launch on 420. Like, of course, the total value of the delegation deferred,
but at the same time, you know, we've, uh, went ahead, make sure to account for each contribution
and, uh, delegate tokens accordingly on the Flix tokens. And, uh, this is, uh, probably half of the
delegation that has happened. Uh, there is still like, you know, 50% of delegation for technical
contribution and non-technical contributions, uh, that will go out. Uh, we've also received a few
more updates, uh, from some of the existing, uh, node hosts as well with respect to, uh, what they've
been up to. Like we've based this off of a form that was like spread, uh, in the last quarter of
last year. And, uh, you know, this year it was not like a rolling application, but, uh, it was applied
once, like people, node hosts applied once. And, uh, you know, based on that, like we went ahead, of course,
we were keeping a track of other contributions as well, but, uh, you know, in the month of June,
you can expect, uh, no additional, I'll say delegations for the people that contributed
both from a technology and non-technical standpoint, right? So that is, uh, something that
we have been, you know, waiting and I'm sure like some of the node hosts also, uh, were waiting for
this and, uh, there'll be more grants that we processed, uh, in the month of June, uh, with
other partners as well, or, and we'll keep you posted. And, uh, we're talking to people that
will probably apply for a grant or, uh, you know, we still have to decide how best that will happen.
But, uh, yeah, pretty excited for the month of June, uh, to be able to support the right set of
builders and to take OmniFlix, uh, forward the right way. So, you know, I'm pretty stoked,
but I don't want to like share details like unnecessarily before things like material is.
So not sharing details of the people that will probably apply for a grant or,
you know, uh, that we structured in that manner, but, uh, you have like pretty interesting updates
coming up on that front as well. So that is with respect to the foundation delegations. And
finally, like, uh, not finally, uh, before I move on to the application engineering updates,
I have a quick mention, uh, where we're preparing for the mint for hope campaign as well. Uh,
details will be shared in an exclusive space, uh, two days from now, June 2nd, uh, will be an
interesting day, uh, rather a big day for the mint for hope campaign where details, uh, a few of the
details will be announced and that it probably mark the start of the campaign. So people like
that are in this space, you've heard it here first, uh, mint for hope campaign will commence
and, uh, more details exclusively for you. And again, this is
share. Why not for the other updates? Is it because you're extremely like, is it due to your affinity
towards the mint for hope campaign? I'm very excited for the mint for hope campaign.
Yeah. We can, like, everyone can feel that. So yeah, like Shev is leading efforts on that if you
haven't realized by now. And, uh, yeah, again, like more details on that coming soon to you. Uh,
this is again, a community driven effort. We've been taking help from our creative community. We've
been taking help from our wider cosmos ecosystem and, uh, you know, pretty thankful for all the
support that has been offered to, I'd say Omniflix and the team. And, uh, yeah, we are very positive
that, uh, uh, you know, this will be something interesting that, uh, happens in the cosmos ecosystem
and something that will connect the ecosystem with the IRL world outside Web3 or, you know, just in general.
Yeah. And if anybody in the community wants to get involved, there will be ways for you guys to do
that. So, uh, stay tuned. Uh, and if you're interested in getting involved, just DM us and,
um, you know, just get your, get yourself in there early.
Yeah. So you've heard it from Shev or Ken as well. Uh, if you're interested in contributing from a
community standpoint, you know, it can be outreach. It can be, you know, articulation of the details,
name general spreading the word. If you're interested to contribute from an op standpoint,
being able to like, uh, yeah, contribute to various things that, that will happen over the
period of, uh, time. And, uh, yeah, if you're interested in general, like, do not hesitate to let
this know. And I guess just to give people some background on, uh, ALS for those who might not be
familiar with what ALS is, uh, the campaign is to raise money for ALS, uh, which I'm not going to try to
say it in proper terms, but it's Lou Gehrig's disease. Um, and it's, you know, if you remember
the ice bucket challenge from back in the day, um, you might've done it and not had a clue what ALS
is like a lot of people, but it is a devastating, uh, debilitating degenerative muscular, muscular
disorder, uh, or disease rather that, uh, is terminal. There's no cure for it. Once you get it,
you have about three, maybe four years to live. Um, and we did an interview with the person that was a
former major league baseball player, Jimmy pool, who was in the later stages, uh, of ALS and he can no
longer talk. It basically, uh, makes your muscles, uh, deteriorate and the last ones to go are your
lungs. So you basically suffocate to death. And, uh, not only is it a devastating diagnosis for the
patient, but it's a devastating financially, uh, you know, for the families and it completely changes
the way of life for the entire family because everyone needs to, you know, to be, you know,
you have to, you have to bathe the person, help them use the bathroom. Eventually you'll need a crane
to get them out of the, out of bed. They'll need a feeding tube to eat. Um, and, and, you know, it's just,
and all the meanwhile, their brain is completely fine. They understand everything that's going on around
them and a person that had it in the past that you might remember Stephen Hawking. Um, and that's
why he was able to still communicate using his, his, uh, his wheelchair because your brain is
perfectly functional, but everything else just slowly deteriorates until you suffocate to death
and there's no cure. So we're hoping to do our part to change that.
I think it's a great cause. Um, and I just think, you know, kind of like
doing these charitable, charitable efforts on chain, um, and especially around kind of,
uh, like the community we have on Omniflix. I think it's a great thing to do. So, um,
yeah, I remember Sisla mentioning June 2nd as the date, uh, to watch out for, for when the campaign
starts. So, um, obviously all, all the best for that campaign and I hope it goes well. I think it's
a great initiative.
Yeah. Uh, mostly details will be shared on June 2nd, the campaign as such won't start,
but at the same time, you know, that, that is an important day because as Ken mentioned,
it's Lou Gehrig Day, you know, someone that's, uh, prominent, that's a prominent, that was a
prominent, uh, baseball player in the, uh, I think before 1950, uh, he played like two seasons, uh,
with ALS that was like diagnosed very late. And I'm not sure, but I think he killed it in the last,
or last, but one season as well. And, uh, you know, played like, you know, yeah,
got the awards and yeah, Ken can like better, uh, share details on that. Uh, but yeah, June 2nd
is when we'll be going ahead and sharing the details, uh, some of those details and we'll keep
the community posted. So if you are interested to contribute, do not hesitate to reach out to any
of us via Twitter, telegram or discord, and we'll be more than happy to, uh, see how best you can
help. And, uh, we'll let you know now. Yeah. Yeah. June 2nd is, uh, is Lou Gehrig day in major
league baseball. So I believe everybody in the, in, in baseball that's playing that day will,
will wear the number four in honor of Lou Gehrig. Um, and then July 4th is actually the anniversary
of his farewell speech that you might all remember. Um, you know, where he says today,
I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth, despite the fact that he, um, you know,
was diagnosed with ALS and realized he couldn't play anymore, but he played a full season with ALS
and hit 31 home runs, um, before the disease like fully so cold. And then in spring training, uh, in 1938,
he, you know, he was stumbling around the field. He only was, he, he, they called him the iron
horse because he never missed a game. He played every single game, every single year, 162 games.
And then finally he took himself out of the lineup. And in his final season, I think he went four,
he got four hits, uh, and 28 at bats. And this is a guy that, you know, was one of the best players
of all time. And, uh, you know, hit 40 home runs, I think seven times. So he's, you know, very in,
in a class of his own in terms of games played and, uh, you know, he's, he played with Babe Ruth.
So put it that way, it's a long time ago, but he's still remembered today very strongly.
Great information. Um, you know, just generally, it's just good to hear like some more,
some more details around, um, the initiative and what's happened in the past. So it sounds amazing
that he should, he was just able to keep going. So that's really, um, inspirational actually.
Um, so yeah, absolutely. I mean, and they're, they're, they're saying now that it, it can kind
of be triggered by traumatic, uh, brain injuries. So a lot of people in the NFL, uh, later in their
career or after their, you know, after their career is over, they end up coming down with it, but,
um, it's completely at random. Sometimes it's hereditary or, you know, it's, it's in your genes.
Um, I shouldn't say hereditary. Sometimes it's just like a, in your, in your genes to get it.
Um, but it's mostly a completely at random disease that just, it, unfortunately, I think
gets about a million people a year.
Um, I noticed that Sandy, you requested to speak. Um, did you have anything to add on, on this particular topic?
Uh, it's fine. Feel free to share. Yeah. Yes. Hi, I will make it quick. I know this is about
developing and not necessarily about art, but I do want to congratulate OmniFlix. And I do want to say
thank you to Ken for doing this. Um, and I just want to point out, um, it's been 10 years since I
learned about Bitcoin and I have the emails about that. And we have come such a long way since the
development and the thought of this new way of being, uh, this week, uh, Sepas, she's a creator
on OmniFlix as well. She was able to raise money to reunite a dog named Tito with his owners. The
owners were in a nearby country, Iran. They got kicked out. They got separated from their, uh, senior
dog and she was able to, um, use her artwork. She didn't do this on OmniFlix. She did it on the
Tito's blockchain, but it happened. So I'm looking forward to what you're doing and your project on
ALS. And I've had a successful project bringing awareness for cure GM1, which is a very similar
kind of disease to ALS. And it gives me hope because I am a family member of somebody and I'm
watching my grandnephew, you know, slowly die. And so the blockchain is powerful. There's a lot
happening and thank you to the developers who make this possible. That's all I wanted to say.
And whether it's games or non-profit and trying to cure rare diseases, um, you're all amazing.
We're the ones doing it. So celebrate and have a great day, everybody, or evening.
Thank you, Sandy. And, uh, great words as always.
I couldn't have said it better myself, Shev. Um, yeah, good stuff.
Got to get the applause in there every now and then.
I'm just offended. You didn't applause me at the beginning when we started the show.
I meant to, I meant to, and different screen up and it wouldn't have been practical at the,
at the moment that I got back to the screen, but there was applause in my mind for you.
Thank you. That's what counts. As long as the thought was there.
It was a golf club.
Nice. Nice. Um, Oh, sorry. Do you have anything else you wanted to add?
Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I mean, I now know like, um,
um, who Ken is biased towards and like what is happening here.
With the applause, we can like feel that, but at the same time, thank you, Sandy. Thank you for
sharing your thoughts. Definitely, you know, doing your best, uh, in every possible way. Uh, hope,
you know, we do have the community support, uh, and, uh, you know, hope you're able to push this
forward in the best possible way. So again, thank you for joining in and sharing your thoughts.
Ah, now for the last and final set of updates from an application or an engineering standpoint,
the application engineering updates. We now have our Omniflix market now supports
the Cosmos station extension. Omniflix market also supports the leap browser extension
on the Omniflix.market app. So this is improving accessibility. We wanted to make sure like
multiple communities that are YouTube, that are part of the Cosmos ecosystem also, you know,
have access to these apps, be it on their desktop or on mobile. We are working with,
Ken, this reminds me of, uh, you know, how I met your mother or friends,
where people like there is something that's being discussed and people laugh in the background,
like early, like very, very, very initially it felt as if they were prompting us to laugh.
Then like, I, you know, associated like a, you know, negative connotation to that because
if they want me to laugh, I'm not like laughing. I laugh when I, you know, like I want to, but,
uh, you know, sorry, like the last, the last, uh, bit of audio that triggered that.
I'm glad you like it. Yeah. Uh, sure. So that being said, like, uh, we have had other minor updates
to Omniflix studio as well. And I'm glad, uh, triangle actually pointed, uh, that he saw the change.
Yeah. When we always say minor updates, these are like too small to list down and like, let you know,
but are significant enough for creators or people that are using the infrastructure to see the
difference. So usually when we say minor updates, uh, to Omniflix studio or Omniflix market,
please understand that these are like in no way, uh, like small updates or insignificant ones,
but these are like, uh, you know, too many, uh, tweaks that, you know, might or might not, uh,
affect you as a user,
but will definitely have a significant impact in the grand scheme of things.
So, you know, quick updates from an application standpoint to recap,
Omniflix market now supports the Cosmo station browser extension and the leap, uh, browser extension.
So you should see more updates, uh, when it comes to improving accessibility and so on,
so forth as well, along with our other minor updates, a small, uh, you know, I won't say bonus update,
like you're all here to know what is happening, but, uh, okay, I'll just, this is like a, this is
again, not something small, but this has, uh, been tested. Now, what has been tested?
We are now connected to the Axlar network. So Omniflix hub and the Axlar network are being,
you know, connect, are connected by the IBC protocol, or we are running relays between them.
And we were able to like move across Pepe from Osmosis to Axlar and then to Omniflix,
all within a single transaction via the TFM interface. So this is not just means that
that's for me. Yeah. Uh, that's right. Right. And, uh, you know, why is this important? You know,
MemeCoin is making sure that we're playing around with the technology, but when it comes to serious
tech, this is a step in the direction of supporting EVM based tokens natively on Omniflix. Again,
utilizing a bridge like Axlar, it can be say the gravity bridge in future and any other bridge
or, uh, yeah, in any other manner that tokens can move into and out of Omniflix ecosystem.
Uh, the TFM guys, the guys at TFM definitely need an applause. Uh, they've like built something,
you know, really powerful, not just for Omniflix, but the entire ecosystem. And this is a step in the
direction of making it easier, much more convenient and less like making sure that users are anxious
free to be able to transact the way they want. So usually what happens is if you get your Pepe token
on Osmosis, for example, that cannot move directly to Omniflix because it first has to go back to
Axlar, uh, because Pepe is coming or entering the ecosystem via Axlar. And then from Axlar,
it has to like move to Omniflix. But TFM, uh, has a simple solution where they went ahead and in a
single transaction, they were able to like move the Pepe token on Osmosis to Axlar and then back to
Omniflix. And this is the way in which the community, the wider Pepe community, uh, that's within the,
that's part of the EVM ecosystem can interact with the Cosmos ecosystem, use their mean token to be able
to play around, experience new tech and probably, you know, come down for the, yeah, come down for
the community and stay here for the tech. So this is a way in which we can demonstrate the power of
Cosmos. And we're very happy to play a role in being able to do that. We are, we still do not have
any collections that are interested to launch using the Pepe token, but at the same time, you know,
yeah, no holds barred. And, you know, you should be able to go ahead and do that. Once we roll out
like full support, we are testing out, testing it out on our end as well. And, uh, yeah, have plans
to be able to support multiple tokens, uh, you know, that, uh, that the creators and communities
are interested in. So this will be a more friendly process, uh, rather than being too tight or being
too permission in nature. Of course, even now it is possible for people to utilize their own token
on the Omniflex network, but it just doesn't show up in the UI because we do not want creators
to list their tokens in, uh, list their NFTs in maybe, uh, uh, scam token or a spammed token.
And, uh, you know, collectors trying to get that token to Omniflex and, you know, they should not
feel disappointed going forward. Hence, this has been like pretty tight. This has been curated, uh,
all this while, of course we'll be curated, but, uh, the process will be much more simpler and we'll do
our best to accelerate all efforts. So yeah, EVM tokens and Omniflex, uh, fungible tokens and
Omniflex, yes. And we also are working with a few participants from Game of NFTs that might end up
bringing down EVM based NFTs via Gravity Bridge to the Omniflex network. So lots of, you know,
lots of interesting updates in the next few weeks, uh, that we have for you. Of course, again, like,
yeah, you're hearing all of these, like, uh, uh, you know, like too soon, uh, just while
they're under development. So, you know, these things might take some time, but at the same time,
you know, we'd love for your feedback and your involvement, uh, throughout the entire process.
Yeah. Uh, Liam, that concludes, uh, my set of updates, my share of updates. And, uh, you know,
just an interesting observation, TFM, Sandy, Terra Spaces, and a bunch of others came down
or like expanded their involvement in the cosmos, uh, from the Terra ecosystem. So I think the Terra
ecosystem has had like pretty phenomenal people. And, uh, I won't say it is a good thing that the
dead spiral happened, but, uh, I'm not sure if all of these guys would have actually
explored the wider cosmos ecosystem if Terra was thriving as it did earlier. But regardless,
you know, like being optimistic, uh, you know, we've had like some excellent people that are now
involved in the cosmos ecosystem, uh, thanks to the efforts of the entire community of the, uh,
you know, Terra ecosystem as a whole, uh, before and after. So again, you know, just wanted to like
make sure I note that and shout out to Terra Spaces who has been putting out these spaces
extremely fast at lightning speed in the last two weeks. And we were able to like comfortably
distribute the Terra Spaces link only and not the recording of the Twitter space on Twitter.
So you might see lower replays, but you should be able to access this content, you know,
ride on Terra Spaces or flickspaces.com, uh, you know, going forward. So again, thank you all.
And I'll be happy to take any questions, uh, if there are any.
Yeah, it's just going to get people a bit of time to ask, uh, some questions because, uh, you had a lot of
updates for a sister. Um, and especially, uh, uh, with regard regards to the last few topics there.
I see chef has his hand raised. Uh, so chef, obviously please go ahead just before, just
want to let anyone else know if you do want to talk, if you've got any questions, we've got any
thoughts, anything you want to share, uh, around the topic of only flicks and what we've discussed
today. Um, then yeah, just a request to speak. We'll get you up and we'll get more of the community
talking that way. So that would be amazing. In the meantime, chef, please go ahead.
When Pepe.
I'll be diplomatic and say soon.
Does that give you a satisfactory answer?
That is satisfactory.
I thought like, uh, Ken would like now throw some, like, not a rant, but like a
auto recording of, uh, you know, someone shouting at me for saying soon, but, uh, you know,
received an applause. So yeah, something like that.
You know what I'm waiting for? It's, uh, when we're actually all so comfortable with, uh,
chefs like claps and soundboard, but we don't even react to it. And it just happens as part of the
normal show in the background. When that happens, it's going to be great.
We'll get there.
It's so jarring. It's like the claps, like, yeah.
Got to add a little comedic relief, you know?
I do wonder if, uh, people like listening into the recording will think like, what the hell is
going on when they hear that? Um, but yeah, good stuff. Good stuff.
We'll find it. I guess we'll find out. Cause TFM just asked for the link to the space.
Excellent. Excellent. Maybe, maybe we can, uh, turn it into like a meme or an NFT of some kind.
Or we'll get it and we'll make an interactive video for some feedback. And if, uh, do people
like Cheb's, uh, sound, uh, soundboard effects or do they hate them?
Yeah. Paul, you can do a poll on it.
There we go. Um, well, I think we can get, um, Pavan up to speak cause Pavan's been, uh,
patiently waiting now since, um, since basically since, since Sysler started the, uh, engineering
updates. So that was, uh, some time ago, uh, now. So hopefully it's not been too long, Pavan.
Uh, how are you doing today and what have you got for us?
Oh, Hey, hi guys. Uh, is my, is my voice heard of it?
Yeah. Loud and clear.
Cool. Cool. Yeah. Thanks. Uh, uh, uh, hi Liam. Hi Jeff. Hi Sandy. Hi Sysler. Hi everyone.
Uh, uh, yeah, I, I, I, I have a couple of updates from, uh, Flixworth as well, uh, this week.
Uh, can I, can I share them here?
Absolutely. Um, I see no reason why not.
Sure. Uh, this week, uh, like,
last time when we did, uh, uh, uh, you know, when we gave access to the, uh, token gated flows to our
creators, uh, most of the people, you know, we got the feedback, uh, asking for a voice chat.
So, uh, this week we tried, uh, playing with that. We just, we just tried having, uh,
voice chat. We were, we are on the engineering side. We worked on that. So, uh, soon, I mean,
we experimented with that. We had, uh, uh, you know, uh, pretty decent results with the version
or the solution we had, uh, we, we previously developed for the mobile version of Flixworth,
but as an experimental one, but, uh, now for whoever is joining Flixworth, uh, soon we'll have,
uh, voice chat features. What does voice chat mean to Flixworth is, uh, you know, you can,
we can have this Flix talk, uh, soon in Flixworth as well. Uh, you know, although, uh, all people,
uh, whoever, uh, joining Flixworth for, uh, for an event or for an, uh, uh, you know, for an experience
of while playing, uh, uh, IBC game can now have an access to, uh, talk how we are having, you know,
the audio based discussions on Twitter. So soon, uh, we'll have, uh, voice chat in Flixworth.
And, uh, and this week we also had, uh, uh, uh, uh, pretty much decent development in, uh, uh,
with the IBC game, uh, uh, uh, uh, major of the people know here, uh, uh, we, you know, we are, uh,
Flixworth has IBC game. We'll be having IBC game, uh, in Flixworth. So people, previously we, uh,
we played using a spreadsheet and now we have an app where, uh,
you can play the game just by connecting your Kepler wallet and, uh, you know, you can select
your cards and compete or challenge your friends. So, uh, regarding that, we, uh, oh, you know,
there's a process of matchmaking. We completed that and we are, uh, we are working on the actual
game part where you play with your cards. So that is what is happening, uh, uh, with the team, uh,
Flixworth, uh, this week.
Good stuff. Good stuff. Obviously, um, very social to have, uh, like, voice chat. Um, so I think that's
a great addition to the Flixverse. As for the spaces, um, I'd love to, like, see, see a space,
uh, like a Flix talk or something else in the, uh, Flixverse. But I, I also would love to see
access still on Twitter and other places just in case, um, some people can't access Flixverse
for whatever reason or they don't know about it. But, um, yeah, I would love to see, see that
in Flixverse. I think that'd be great. It's a great idea.
Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I, uh, I don't remember who said this, but, uh, there were folks, uh, who tried, uh,
Flixverse, uh, you know, from the EVM, uh, from the Ethereum, uh, ecosystem. They just saw the
Flixverse and they were like, oh, uh, you know, if this gets better, uh, people can leave Discord
and start using Flixverse itself because, you know, you can have your community, uh, running,
keep running. You can have your community have, you know, have the discussions, uh, talk,
all the games happening, uh, you know, everything, every event happening inside the Flixverse itself.
So, uh, sooner or later, uh, all the communities can leave Discord and, uh, join Flixverse.
So they love, they pretty love the buildings. They love the, uh, all the, uh, aesthetic
vibe that Flixverse is giving. So, uh, that is what, uh, you know, that made us, uh, feel really happy
because they could see a replacement of Discord because Discord was having, you know, uh, most of, uh,
us feel, you know, uh, it, Discord has a bad, uh, user experience and they felt that Flixverse could,
you know, uh, replace that. Uh, that will be a cool place, uh, you know, uh, to play,
uh, to have your community inside.
Yeah, I think, um, I just wanted to give people a chance to speak because they had anything to add there.
Um, but, um, I, uh, I think actually a lot of communities are quite fragmented at the moment,
um, because obviously you have Twitter, you've got Discord, you've got Telegram, uh,
and then you've got Reddit as well. Um, and basically, like, all this stuff happens around,
like, OmniFlix, around the Cosmos Hub, around Osmosis, like, with all of these different,
uh, places where people, like, hang out. But, uh, in terms of, like, the, like, the,
the shelling point, if you like, where everyone would go to if you said, like, hey, like,
you can all go to just one place, where would you go? Uh, people would probably choose,
like, Discord or Twitter, right? That's probably, like, the, the kind of place where we all come together
and chat as a community. Um, but yeah, I completely agree, man. I think, like, Flixverse, um, could be
a really good challenge point for the, the, the OmniFlix community, where, like, almost everything
happens in the Flixverse that's social. Um, and then that way it's just, hey, we're going for the
Flixverse. This is where everything's going to happen. This is where there's going to be events.
So people know, even if they're not sure, like, what events on a certain day, they can just kind of go
into the Flixverse and they're like, hey, here's the event I was looking for. Um,
in the same way they would kind of go to the OmniFlix Twitter and find events at the moment.
And maybe you can kind of keep the Flix talks and stuff, like, on Twitter, but the main, like,
interactive parts on, on, you know, in the Flixverse, but maybe the audio is just possible
on Twitter space and Discord, because then you can kind of use those, those kind of places as a way
into the Flixverse, right? Where people, like, go to the Twitter space and they're listening in to
you, Pavan, and you're talking about, you know, hey, you've got to come into the Flixverse so you
can, like, chat with the community and ask questions or kind of get some, something extra out of
participating in the space. And yeah, it sounds, sounds really great. So that was just some of my
thoughts. Um, and I look forward to be, uh, you know, look forward to when that's possible.
Yeah. And we also tried, uh, you know, uh, few of the people in the space know that we were working
on something called as Cosmos Gaming SDK. So we, uh, you know, uh, we got a couple of, I mean,
we had some time to work on it again, uh, this week. So we made a couple of changes, uh, to the, uh,
you know, how we, uh, uh, you know, how a developer can use, um, uh, a module, uh, inside Unity, uh,
game engine, uh, to do a fungible transaction, uh, you know, IPC transaction, uh, uh, uh, you know,
using, uh, Unity, C Sharp version or, you know, uh, or do a, uh, do a transaction with the, uh,
with the Unity interface. So we made a couple of changes to that. So what does this allow, uh, game
developer is, uh, you know, you can build web3 games, uh, uh, you know, just by attaching this
module, uh, to your prefab. So, uh, uh, uh, you know, or the, uh, game objects inside your game,
uh, you know, in, in your, uh, game and, uh, you know, not to code, all you need to do is,
you know, uh, use this, uh, basic template of the version, attach it and you need, you can, uh,
enable people, uh, you know, who are playing the game or the players to do the transaction.
So it is that simple. So previously had a one version of that, uh, which we're trying to, uh,
implement in Flixverse and we, we made it even more better, uh, this week. So we had, we made
couple of changes and, uh, you know, changes to it as well. So that is, uh, uh, you know,
this week we had major updates on, uh, you know, on the engineering part and
with the Flixverse and IBC and the Cosmos gaming industry.
Thanks for the updates there, Pavan. Um, one question I do have quickly is, um, what's your,
like internally, what's the timeline for, for all of these developments in your, your
rides? Obviously right now, anything's possible for like launch, so to speak, but I just wanted to
gauge kind of how much more work there is to do from, from your perspective.
Uh, I think, uh, voice chat can be done, uh, uh, within, uh, you know, within two weeks will be,
uh, uh, we will have a final version of it, uh, within, with respect to IBC game,
we'll take time because a lot of internal testing should happen. Uh, you know, uh, after,
after the alpha test, then only, uh, the IBC game will be live on, uh, Flixverse. So,
but yeah, current Flixverse is live. Like people, uh, who want to, you know, you can just,
uh, interact with the Flixverse. You can join, uh, you know, you can,
you can log on to Flixverse.Omniflix.co and you can, uh, try Flixverse.
Amazing. Sorry. I put my phone down somewhere and I just didn't know where I didn't know where
it was. I couldn't unmute myself. Um, Tangle, please go ahead. I see you have your hand raised.
Hi, Pavan. I just want to ask whether, uh, if the voice chat becomes, uh,
uh, uh, comes online within the next two weeks, is there something, uh, that we can do with the
creators or, uh, with Liam and Shev and, and, and the OmniFlix crew to get a, even a test, uh,
spaces talk in the Flixverse, just to another kind of campaign similar to the token gated tests.
Is there something we can do to have an online spaces in the Flixverse?
Uh, still the, still the, uh, you know, we are, we are using it. We are, you know, we are working
on it, uh, working on it internally. So I, uh, we'll let you know, uh, uh, we'll let you know,
Sam, like once the actual version is ready where people can use it, uh, uh, we'll put it out and,
you know, we can work on it something, uh, with that.
Okay. Thank you.
Yeah, I really feel like it'd be quite good to kind of coordinate some, some sort of events
around the Flixverse, uh, just to kind of get a bit of traction and kind of make it more of like
a social standard to kind of go into the Flixverse as a community member of OmniFlix.
Um, cause although I've obviously tested it before, I wasn't aware, like anyone can just
kind of come in and, you know, use Flixverse as it is now, even though obviously it's still
the MVP, so to speak. So yeah, we'd be happy to get involved, um, as long as time allows,
of course. And, uh, yeah, and it's fun and exciting cause that's the whole point. Right.
So I look forward to that.
All right. So, um, yeah, that's all from my side. I see Sisla's, um, only a listener now.
Um, so does anyone have any questions or anything they want to add?
Is Shev, is Shev's mic on? Uh, I think so. I think, I think I heard something for sure.
Did we lose Liam?
No, I'm still here. Can you hear me?
Shev, can you hear us?
I guess not.
He's rugging. He's playing with, uh, Manning.
Uh, well, I think we're close to finishing the show off anyway. So, um,
luckily we, we should be okay. Um, again, if no one's got any questions, hopefully Shev didn't
have any, anything dying, the urgent to say. Um, but yeah, I'm, I'm ready to close off the show.
Uh, so what I will say is thank you, all of you tuning in. Um, big shout out to Shev,
even though he can't hear us right now, uh, to Sandy, Tangled, Pavan, Steakcito in the chat as
well. Big shout out to them. Tardigrade, Sisla, Dea, Taboo, uh, Mr. Fox, all of these people.
Uh, I can't name you all individually. Um, but I see a lot of regulars in the chat today. So,
um, if you are just send a heart, let me know you're a regular. Um, and thank you all for being here.
Um, I'm ready to end the show. Uh, but if anyone's got anything to add, feel free to add it now.
And, uh, yeah, otherwise feel free to do the countdown and finish the show off.
Sorry for chewing my, uh, freeze pop like a cow, but I thought we lost you on the show.
I guess I was the one that got, that got rugged.
Yeah, we can hear you, but, uh, you couldn't hear us. So, um,
luckily you didn't say anything foolish. That's the main thing.
That's, that's for damn sure.
Thanks for being here, Shev. It's been a great laugh of you here. Um,
we're ready to end the show. So, um, yeah, anything you want to add, do it now.
If not, um, thank you everyone who came to join today.
Good day, Liam.
