Some news out of the DTC, YouTube, Coinbase is tokenizing,
Tether is tokenizing, Interactive Brokers is allowing stable coins.
So tons of big headlines over the last day.
Doquan is going to prison for 15 years.
And there's also this new prediction market crypto trend I want to get into a bit.

market space or the prediction market space broadly rather uh and i want to chat about that
a bit before we do that i think i don't know we're not allowed to speak about any other prediction

Friday's always been a bit of a weekday for crypto.
We kind of bounce on Sundays.
I'm kind of thinking the same might happen today.
We did not...
Bitcoin actually just looks like pain right now.
If you bring up any sort of Bitcoin, it's just low volatility.
I was looking at the biggest movers on the week in the top 100, if you do that.
And it just
shocked me that
the biggest move is MemeCore,
which no one knows what it is.
I know Seedphrase, Danny, had a
random position at some stage, but
I don't think anyone's ever heard of MemeCore.
But Zcash is the biggest move,
and it moved 18%.
And if you go for the big movers down
in the top 100,
it was a 15% movers.
Like, there is no vol right now.
Zero vol,
which is why Bernie's strategy right there is
working out real well.
Yeah.
I continue to think, do not
have big positions here. You do
not need to. This is not a great market.
But I was even thinking about this year.
The biggest trades of my
year were getting
the ETH trade right,
then it was getting the
B&B trade right, and then it was really getting the Z ETH trade right, then it was getting the BNB trade right, and then
it was really getting the Zcash trade right.
None of those are happening in this market.
ETH went from $1,500 to $5K.
And the biggest move that we had this week was basically a 15% bounce in Zcash.
It's like,
just be very patient.
This is not the time to get the house on anything.
It's not the time to full port Ethan,
like tennis leverage.
you can get really bored and like you're in front of the screen,
you know,
I'll just do a trade or do a trade,
do a trade.
Like you, the opportunity set of that time when ETH did that
and when Zcast did that is not what we have right now.
Or when Binance went from 700 or 800 to 1,300.
L1s are not moving 50%.
They're barely moving 5%.
So just be patient.
How are we feeling about the Solana trade coming out of breakpoint?
Just not enough this year, not enough firepower in the headlines.
The headlines are starting to come out.
There's some decent ones.
So Fire Dancers Live was the big one from today.
I've seen a few summaries,
a lot of tokenization really are the other big rocks that I'm seeing.
Historically it's been somewhat of a catalyst. So i guess maybe that's a small sample size
i feel like right now this isn't enough to make me want to buy that chart yeah
yeah it wasn't enough like i'm always bullish into into well i was saying i wasn't saying long
into into the conference but i was saying maybe don't be short in the conference which turned
out to kind of be right like we kind of went to 140 this morning yeah um we didn't want to shorten to that
but uh but i also don't think that the news that came out are enough to move the price of
an 80 billion dollar asset this much but remain extremely bullish on overall i like how the
ecosystem seems to be maturing from like the meme coin casino to like more DeFi and stuff like that.
Even seeing like the conference in that sense was a little more professional.
But maybe that's because in Abu Dhabi and there's more laws.
I don't know.
But it looks like they're coming to London next year.
So make sure you have your bulletproof vests on and your machetes.

That was a hot narrative in 2023.
It's still hot.
It's dope that it launched, but from a price perspective, it's not as hot, right?
Remember, we were trading on the back of Fire Dancer narrative two years ago.
Yeah, I remember Raul speaking to me about it two years ago um
god um well now they're throwing their head in the tokenization ring which i do think is important on a multi-year time horizon right so and I titled the show The Crypto Proliferation.
There's a lot of headlines in the last day.
One was out of the DTC.
In the DTC, now they're going to be able to tokenize assets.
They got the green light from the SEC, no action letter.
So now they're going to effectively be able to tokenize a variety of assets.
to tokenize a variety of assets.
Russell 1000 stocks, ETFs, US treasuries.
And I feel like it's, ETH maybe has the head start,
but Solana's in that race too, right?
For, to host tokenization from some of these big players.
So it's a macro trend to watch, I think, at a minimum.
I mean, a decent list of headlines.
These are just from the first day,
so we'll see what continues to come out.
Maybe pulling this back to trading,
and maybe we'll go back to some of the other headlines here
a little bit later in the show.

you do either have to nail the move with good leverage or you got to make a contrarian,
but that hits basically.
I think my position is I'm short,

and the one that jumped out to me was this holiday special,
Bitcoin above or below 90K on Monday noon UTC.
And this thing's got 1 and a half million volume on it.
So there's some serious action on this market.
Currently 72% chance to be above that number UTC.

from 30 to 90 seconds and like this new jane street bot i mean who knows it was actually
jane street that's just the name of it um they're up 50k here if it's jane street don't even bother
trying to beat them 50 to 150 percent um and then so i was looking at some
of these markets so just like now i might be i might be in in amongst the top accounts now
top 10 he's he's live what a move he's up 195 000 today whoo oh baby is the is there a synthetics
competition 2 prediction market

So this is looking like there's some serious action playing out in some of
these markets.

some of this is on just like the ones to bond.
But where this gets more interesting is like I had,
I had friends who were playing with 92 K market for today or 94 K you can get
decent odds and actually it looks like they're going to lose all those now.
So the no side was an interesting one. Well, yeah,

if this closes no um so it's an it's interesting to see this and i feel like this is just going to
