throwing axe games and stuff with that but good man you know the real alert was supposed to be
lost this week bro but we got wrecked by the new appy x policy so i've been uh changing it because
now you can't mention anyone in fresh postsosts. So basically now it's going to depend on people posting, mentioning real alert after they put an alert and we reply in the comments and stuff like that.
So, you know, making some tweaks, making sure it works and we'll basically launch it probably next week or the following one and get it out there.

And I happened to just follow them.
So I got a badge.
And then I also got some snakes to hand out.
And I was like, dude, this is so cool how it pulled people together.
And just, I had fun.
I personally had fun in the activation, which I've been in crypto for 10 years.
To have fun again is a big deal.
So when we started this, I was like, how do I like, you know, not rip them off? How do I reinvent
this and make this more fun? And we have a slightly bigger established community. And so we dropped
drumsticks to everybody. We did 20,000 drumsticks total. 15,000 of those went to our holders.
The NFT represented it at first come, first serve. And we told them, go out, curate, find the people you want in your community.
Instead of us just doing massive giveaways and inviting everybody in and skewing what
the community is for us, we really want you guys to be the ones that choose this.
And so they did.
They found, we distributed about 558 wallets.
When we went into the Mint, there were over 8,000 wallets that were holding drumsticks.
So we distributed some through giveaway.
There was like, of course, we had to do some Alphabot.
You got to do the job.
But crazy to see how much our community went and handed out these first come, first serve.
And then a week ago, we opened up an activation that you could burn that drumstick and get a bone back.
And the bone would represent your guaranteed spot.
We sold down those bones so no one could sell them to any OTC deals, made it so
that when you committed, that was it, you're the one minting. And so that's how they got those.
Everything we did last night for the snapshot, set it up this morning for them. It was great to
see the activation. We did 5,000 guarantees, by the way, in that burn, and all 5,000 were gathered.
They went through, we saw over 3,000 people come through to do the burn activation. So really cool metrics. We also have a hub where we want to recognize provenance. So those burns
and drumsticks and ascending will all be recognized at some point too in a hub for all of our people.

Could you tell us more about the idea behind that app?
Why did you actually start building other quests and what's the main goal with that?
Yeah, so I like to do things first.
You know, I have a sort of competitive brain
and and that's how i motivate so if i see someone do something cool i want to go and
do it first what if i see them do it cool i want to go and try and top them and do something better
and if i find something that someone hasn't done i want to be like oh shit i gotta do that before
someone else does it usually i'm james hall usually you know he's like about a week ahead
of me of thinking of things and he'll post them on the timeline like oh hey i've just done this and i'm
like you son of a bitch so then i have to go come up with something else um but no the idea came from
from being a nerd and wanting to do something in other side that was a bit more like uh depthy a
bit more storytelling to it so the original plan was to just do it for myself,
like just make this like multi-step quest thing. You know, you had to come find me,
you had to come find Galicus, who's, who's our intern essentially for Not A Punk's Cult,
maybe find Chipmonkey, collect some items, and then you'd mint, uh, you know, the collectible
or wearable. Um, so I started building that back back in November, got distracted, built other things,
and then came back to it recently because I've learned to do so much more in the last couple
of months, like setting up servers and databases and encrypting stuff and deploying contracts and
making factory contracts and doing a lot more deeper stuff. So I thought this would be much
more useful as a tool that everyone can use rather than just
like a hack job that i put together to do one event and then kind of leave by the wayside so
picked it back up earlier this month or last month uh and just started like pouring a lot
more energy into it to build it out um but yeah it's essentially bureaucracy uh it's it's you know management it's uh names and lists
and things and buttons that you can click to make your life easier when you're doing a space like
this or doing an event in other side um i joined the other games the other day and i saw honeybee
uh have a small mental breakdown while he was trying to give out some NFTs to people
and trying to get them to form an orderly queue.
And he's running up to them and pressing F and interacting with Profile and trying to send them the thing
and tell them to get out of the line.
And that's one of the things that OtherQuest makes a lot easier.
It gives you a list of all the people that have joined your quest.
It gives you all the buttons to do stuff.
If you see them there, click issue proof, issues them a proof. If they get all the proofs, issue them the reward. Job done.

And trying to fight something that works. I think other side might be really cool because I tried
one of those quests and you just confirmed that you took a selfie in the other side. It
probably checked the blockchain, right, if I did? And because I did it actually
verified it. So that's awesome. What are other use cases for for example for
spaces or maybe for streams? How would you use that app?
So for streams and spaces, exactly what you already do.
There's OpenPage and they issue badges, but I think they're all inside of one big giant collection that you don't own.
I think OpenPage owns the whole collection and every badge that's been created is in there. I'm a big fan of the old, not your keys, not your crypto, so you know,
not your contract, not your badges maybe we'll go for. So this makes it more, it belongs to you,
and if you make something cool and you've set the royalties on, then you're doing your benefits.
So you can do the same kind of things like a secret code.
So you usually give out like a passphrase, people go and put the passphrase in,
they get the mint.
You also recently saw me do the Big Fat Magic Cats Mint,
which used XAPI keys.
So people commented in a specific format.
They said, mint me a cat to this wallet address,
and its name is you know Barry the cat and with xAPI usage
and backend server it picked up that information passed it over to a backend wallet and that
backend wallet then minted you a cat so I've built in some of the same stuff here so if we
want people to comment on this space in order to get the badge today, we can do that. If you want them to hashtag GratefulApe, we can do that.
If you want them to just like or retweet, they can do that.
So there's many, many layers to make it as customizable as you want so that you can make
people jump for as many hoops as you like, essentially.

have an nft for each of them and you can issue as many of those as like repeat copies as you want so in this case
i've got an 11.55 this is the not punks cult guild rewards that's why i've named the contract and my
guild um and then i'll just i'll just add a reward type to it so we're going to call it
gonna call it a grateful eight badge or just great for late and you put in a
the grateful ape badge or just grateful ape
description what what do you get for completing it yes nazi batch so but in
snazzy grateful badge we'll leave the suppliers unlimited unless you do you
want to make people you want the firmer John John a hundred max to one you know

um and then there's a bunch of storage options so you can store it on ipfs with pinata and the
the thing that i've done inside of this app is make it so that it's like it's like bring your
own beer essentially but bring bring your own API keys.
So you can set up a pinata free account, which will give you 500 uploads essentially.
You copy that API key, you bring it to the app, the app encrypts it on the backend,
so only you can access it.
And then when you want to store stuff, it just pushes it straight up through that API key
and stores it on IPFS. You can also do Rweave, which is a little bit fancier, and you have to do a little
bit more legwork. You have to go to R drive and upload an image and store it there. But
Rweave says that they have like 200 years of storage, essentially. That's their claim.
So we'll all be dead in 200 years so so for practical
bro no if you follow brian johnson bro no you're not gonna be uh dead in 200 years

IPFS, you can do storage, RWEA, you can do storage, or depending on the image size,
like if it's pixel or SVG and quite small, you can do on-chain as well. So if you want a fully
on-chain image, you can do that as well. And all the metadata is stored on- as well so if you want a fully on chain image you can do that as well and all the metadata is stored on chain so anytime someone queries that badge they'll get all the information
uh for it without having to go on to ipfs or use alchemy or something like that so literally within
like one click i click create reward type it's uploaded into ipfs it's creating the nft on the
contract i'm signed in with glyph i approve it with my glyph wallet it's all done reward type created uh and then i can see it in my dashboard if you're if you're
on the stream you can see this uh cute pink heart with an ape holding it apparently the chat gpt
didn't get the memo that your ape is pink but we're not going to fight it too much um so now
that's set up i can create a quest so i jump back to the quest tab i click create quest but we're not going to fight it too much. So now that's set up, I can create a quest.
So I jump back to the Quest tab, I click Create Quest,
and we're going to call it Crick Lake.
Maybe while you're creating it, how can people now
participate, what do they have to do to actually join the quest?
So once I make the quest live, it'll
appear in the Discover feed.
So that's the first tab on the
bottom of the navigation bar.
And that's where all quests will appear for all
guilds. You can search,
you can even hide some of the guilds.
So if you don't like me, you can just hide
all of the quests that I make.
I don't care what Uncle Mike's doing, I'm only here for Grateful.
So you just toggle everybody else off and you'll only
show up when Grateful's got a badge going on.
And once you've done that, you click Join Quest.
It will join the quest.
It will move you to your My Quest screen where you'll see the information about the quest
and the steps that you have to do to achieve the badge.

We'll do a secret code and we'll do uh we'll do a social interaction as well can i just make a quick suggestion i don't
think people understand what you're talking about if you have a video up or something put it to the

for people that uh don't know what actually is the original story of frankie the frog and what
inspired the world
or do you want to take this on you want me to you want me to tell the tell the story uh
i think i think you're just better with telling stories and also people need to hear you i
already said my hello well uh you know he missed he missed my intro earlier that's fair so i did
say hello earlier but so i'll start this off. I'll kick it off. Let's tell
everybody here about Frankie if you haven't heard it. And if you have, you're going to hear it again
and again because it's not the last time we're going to tell this story. But just kick it off
who we are and where it came from. Myself, Maha, I joined the team actually a bit late. I joined
about a year into the project. Obviously, FordNet is the founder and main artist. He kicked this off
with Coffee. Coffee is in school to become a lawyer at the moment,
so we are staking him at Duke to get our lawyer back in a few years.
So he will come back around for us.
The rest of the team, though, Julian, Joe, and Yusuf,
we've all been here pretty much since the beginning.
It was about three years ago.
The 15th of this month actually does mark our three-year anniversary of Frankie's.
We kicked it off with a browser game for Whitelist.
That was Frankie's Adventures.
Shortly after Mint, Ford, and the rest of the team here took that game to mobile,
we launched Frankie's Adventures mobile.
We were one of the first ones to then go put crypto rails into an iOS game,
which was infinitely difficult, but really, really fun to figure out.
I think that those rails and kind of walls have been broken down,
which is good to see that we can see more things in, you know, mobile gaming for NFTs. But that was kind of where we started was this origin of, you know, storytelling, animation
games, and this very small origin collection of a thousand pieces. And that's about where I joined
the team was was right about where they had this this influx of what am I going to do here of,
you know, kids brand, you know, making more games,
making more animations. And that's when we took some step backs and said, hey, you know, we
probably should be a kid's brand. We should probably be just more ourselves. Like none of us
really have kids on the team. Let's just make this more like Simpsons and Futurama. And that's
where we started going down like more storytelling. And then as we did more storytelling, and I'll get
into what it is, is we realized it was a bit stale.
And so we're like, we're going to need more characters, which brought about the Nibbles themselves.
And so the story is, though, that Frankie's this very naive frog that gets separated from his family quite young.
Very early in his journey, he gets to meet his best friend Chico, which is a fly.
Chico definitely is a bit cautious at first of being Frankie because, you know, a fly and a frog shouldn't really be friends.
But there's a lot of rapport that's gained in loyalty.
And soon, basically, Chico is just Frankie's, like, backup man.
He has him on everything, making sure he's always safe, especially as naive Frankie is.
He needs a little bit of that, like, conscience from a friend.
conscience from a friend. And so along their journeys, they run into the pig. We do like to

tell a little bit classic story on like, or like go back to classic fairy tales and bring a
contemporary tale to it. And so it is, it's your old pigs from the big bad wolf. You know,
their house has been blown down in early days. They've been picked on. This particular pig owns
a restaurant chain and he comes across Frankie realizes, like, that would be the perfect item for my menu.
I think I want frog legs.
And so ensues the cat and mouse,
or as we like to say, pig and frog story
that is Frankie's.
And so it'll always be the pig trying to cook Frankie.
It'll always be Frankie unwittingly getting out
and not really knowing he's in danger.
Chico is trying to tell him not to go back to the pig
because he's no good
but frankie's just too sweet he just knows that people are just nice and friends back
goes back again and again so that's what we're saying is we knew that this story isn't enough
you know i grew up on wiley coyote and the roadrunner i absolutely love tom and jerry
uh even spy versus spy was something like i absolutely just loved when i was a kid
and so god i totally forgot about it someone someone said it the other day. I can't,
I made an Mac or something. When someone said it, it was like, I literally had this like flash of
like all the, like the comic books and the show, like dude was crazy. I had like, like unlocked a
memory in my mind. And I was like, this is so cool. And so that has also become like a bigger
inspiration of how I think about this. I love spy versus spy. Right?
And I think Chico and the pig should represent that like spy versus spy.
Like they're actually kind of like really fighting each other.
Because Chico knows what the pig's up to.
And so it's these stories.
And as we started to think about that dynamic between just the three.
We're like it will become too stale.
Like Tom and Jerry and Wile E. Coyote.
As much as they are beloved classics.
And it's where animation
and cartoons came from to some extent. It's not enough and it's why they're not here.
They're just there's way too much storytelling and deep or depth to the stories we see on
cartoons now and layers to you know. So we were like, well, how do we go further? And
that's more like we need a supporting cast. And so this was about the end of 24, the beginning of 25 and that's actually where
the inception of Nibbles came from as well over
a year ago of us thinking about these characters.
And there's even renditions of the characters at that time.
And I'll have to share them maybe later today.
I think it'd be really fun to see what
the originals look like as we're going into reveal.
But yes, we started thinking about these characters,
what they look like in our ecosystem,
also how they engage in our games because we started to
develop the idea of Frankie Go,
which was our second title.
We introduced four of the nibbles through Frankie Go as well,
which was really cool,
because the first season we brought in the gecko,
and he just acted as a traitor to people,
like you could trade some life for the hope of attack or more life.
And then the second season we brought in the beaver, the cock, the gnome.
You know, the beaver and the cock helped you quite a bit with your equipment your equipment and the gnome was out there stealing your crumbs or cursing you. And so it just created
a better story and it became more enriched. And that's when the end of the year, we're like,
okay, we really do want to build this out. We know that this is going to help us not only expand our
ecosystem, but bring in a bigger community. Because the one thing we do suffer with is we
only had 550 people as holders. And it is a very small group on the timeline when you're looking for mindshare so
Frankie Go brought about 70,000 people through the game we retained quite a few of those people just
as like interested fans in Frankie's and that's when we're like okay nibbles will happen and
before we went to launch nibbles though we really wanted to make sure that the foundation of our
ecosystem was in a really really good spot and that people coming in can be rewarded, have fun, you know, like engage the same way everybody else does.
And so before we really went to the deeper portions of like our mechanics, we built the hub and the hub is where I was talking about doing all that burn and stuff.
We actually hosted the burn mechanics there.
mechanics there. The hub transcends all of our products and we did it as such to make it so our
web two fans who are playing Frankie's adventures and know nothing of our web three stuff can come
find us and be rewarded to back to their game without ever having to touch a wallet or touch
an asset. And then in such too, if you do on those things, you do get rewarded and have fun too. So
we built out this huge hub and then you guys can please go check it out. Frankie the frog.com
backslash hub. It's really cool, really fun. You don't even have to be a holder. You can literally
just check it out. It's really cool. But in that that's what we built. And then we're like, okay,
it's finally time. January just looked like the perfect storm to launch an NFT project. There was
not really a lot of competition. Everybody was very, very high off of tax harvest being done.
You know, Gary coming back to this space, Adam going to the space sweeping stuff.
There was just so much good energy.
So we were like, this is it.
You know, it's finally time for us to do this.
So we announced everything has been in turmoil since we've announced.
So but it didn't stifle us one bit.
We just felt so confident in the people backing us and what we're building.
And the fact that
we looked at GBC last year and said, there can be anomalies.
If you're building for the right reasons with a quality enough product,
the market really doesn't need to be a factor in whether you can sell a product.
I think the space is also very much yearning for new,
fresh, fun, and trustworthy teams.
Luckily, we have the report rapport this last three years but
because we're so small we do get to feel like we're fresh and new as well so it's a bit about
where we came from who frankie is what the story is who our characters are and uh i'll let you i'm
sure there might be questions i don't want you to tell them uh tell them i knew it did the beaver
and the cock live together and it is they. So there's innuendos.
We want to have our fun.
Yes, the cock and the beaver do live in the same house.
They're a very, very happy couple.
There's very few things wrong in their life in our story.
So they're living in paradise.
But we also have the wolf.
And like I said, we want to tell contemporary tales of this.
And the wolf in our story is down bad.
Like, he's not doing good anymore.
He's not huffing and puffing and blowing down houses.
He's actually indebted to the pigs now.
He's done so poorly that he's needing to make his way back.
So he's like a right-hand man.
He does all the dirty deeds for the pigs.
So we have these fun little parts of it that I think are going to be very fresh for people to hear.
And so that's what Nibbles is.
It's about this expansion and telling greater stories and as well being able to do stuff on
the other side and build really cool activations and have fun with more communities. So thank you
guys so much for giving me the time to rant about this. I love to hear these stories. That's what
attracted me to NFTs, right? That every collection has different story.
And I just tweeted today about 2021 vibes and we all learn a lot since then, right?
But storytelling is 100% essential. And I love it. You know, we have a RIDA with G's, they have
their own story. We have a Gatsby with Rilas, they also have their story. We have Maki he has so many stories we don't we don't even have to talk about all of them you know i
just saw him in vegas and we have so many stories we can even share them here and i think it's
really really important and i love that what kind of media do you use to actually share that story
with your holders and and audience i know i just checked the website. You have the game there. That's awesome.
Are you also utilizing Instagram, TikTok,
or any print media?
This is a great question.
When I joined the team,
if anybody knows about me before Frankie's,
I actually was working on the 3Landers team
during this last year.
Great experience for me to check out things explore things learn a bit more about like
community building too as a leader i was pretty good at already like building brands and products
so uh we started there um when we when i was working on the team we started minimon and we
launched instagram for that and it was very very very hyper focused on just hyper popular trended stuff. And
we went from zero to 45,000 followers and 45 million views in about like six months. And so
I want to do the same exact thing here for Frankie's, but it does take a considerable amount
of energy and concentrated focus from a team. And we're a team of four. So when I joined,
we did have an Instagram live. You guys can go find it.
We're not proud of it. Please don't go look for it. It's out there. It's one of those products
we know will get its right focus when the time comes. But with us being a team of four, with it
being so hyper-focused in Web3 as where we started as the origin, we just focused on exit first.
There will be the expansion. I don't know if we'll focus on TikTok just because I don't know where
it's going at the moment and what's really happening there. But obviously there's still opportunity. There's still growth to be had. I think Instagram is such a staple and it also is one of those really hard platforms to get growth on. So when you see the bigger brands like you do see Klaino and you see Chimpers and you see Pudgy, they are dominating. And I'm not kidding, dominating when it comes to those numbers. Is there conversion?
Probably no. Like even in our 45 million views, conversion was so low and it's something you just have to eat when you're doing Instagram. So it's also why we've kind of neglected it is the ROI
to Instagram is very, very low if you're not actually having tangible products. And so yes,
in our scope, but it needs to be done with the right resources.

Yeah, exactly what you said. I 100% agree with that.
It's really tough to grow
Instagram account because I think it might get easier
with AI, but still you need to dedicate a lot of time and
it's a different audience compared to Web3 people.
Maybe I'll ask quickly Rida because Rida,
he has a whole animation studio, right?
Like he has so many people working for him
and doing these animations.
Rida, did you guys actually think about growing these platforms
like TikTok, Instagram, or maybe even YouTube?
Or you still, it's too, or you think it's still too early, even for you guys?
Because you probably have the people who could build those animations, right?
No, the animations we can, but managing all the socials is quite challenging for us, to be honest.
So we decided to concentrate on just Twitter, unfortunately.
Yes, any animation should be going out in all platforms.
But yeah, that's our mistake for different reasons.
Yeah.
I'm not sure if it's mistake, you know, because then you focus your energy on
something that might not give you.
But you see the animation is done.
I mean, it would take about an extra half an hour for each other platform to
make it the different video sizes, but it should be done.
Yeah, makes sense.
Also guys, I saw that and correct me if I'm if I'm wrong that the game runs on abstract. Is that correct?
Sorry, that was for me, correct?
Yeah.
So how did you come up with the decision?
Because I think it is also a strategic decision, right?
It's going to be abstract, apechain, ETH, base, Solana, right?
There are so many options these days.
So how did you come up with apechain, right?
I've heard of apechain before. What is that, guys? I've never heard of Ape Chain before.
What is that, guys?
No, I'm just kidding.
Yeah, Abstract.
We actually were invited on pretty early.
Because I was on the Three Landers team, we'd actually had a lot of discussion with Pudgies just along the path.
I was very lucky to meet them very, very early from the Three Landers crew.
So when Three Landers shut down, the artist I was working with actually is now working at Pudgy. So man over Mars is one of my very close friends. We do a lot of
stuff together here. And so when we've just stayed very close due to proximity to them,
when abstract came about, Peter reached out and said, you know, we'd love to see you guys bring
Frankie's adventures over. We did. We brought Frankie's adventures over because we were already
looking. We'd been kind of shopping chains, if you want to call it that, to see what is out there, who offered the best things for our product, what made the best sense for scalability, what had even potentially portals and platforms to market our stuff.
Because to this day, we are grassroots.
We have never paid anyone for marketing for any of our things.
And I'm very proud to say that, that just alone our, you know,
what we have done has brought value
to people wanting to share.
So, but we chose abstract basically like on that invite.
And then as well, we really enjoyed the fact
that had session keys.
It just made sense.
Session keys for, you know,
Web3 gaming was very, very smart at that time.
Maybe Apechain had it.
We just weren't like, you know,
versed on it yet at that time.
But when we went in and we did put Frankie's Adventures on, it was horrible.
It didn't fit.
It was a terrible decision.
And I will be the first to admit that we just shouldn't have taken Frankie's Adventures probably on chain.
There's even a world that, you know, Frankie's Adventures may not be on chain in the future,
that we do just remove it and change it into an entirely Web2 product that just may make more sense to bring more fandom to the brand
and kind of Trojan horse people back into what we're doing so in that though the reason it didn't
work was because the product market fit Frankie's ventures was just skill-based game it didn't have
enough transactions to drive XP for the people who are trying to farm it just fell to the wayside on
what was trying to be done on that chain at that time We really took a big step back and we're like, what do we need to do to incentivize people,
make it more fun?
What kind of society do we live in?
Which was, we were very much in like click to reveal
or scroll to reveal.
So I wanted to make a game that made you feel like
you couldn't wait to see what happens next.
And that was really it.
That's kind of what inspired Frankie Go.
And we brought some people around us
that we thought were very smart in the space
in that particular field. And we built an incredible around us that we thought were very smart in the space in that particular field.
And we built an incredible game.
It brought in those 70,000 people, which was 70,000 people in 18 weeks, by the way.
It was a very, very short period of time for that.
But that's kind of why we chose it, the product market fit for that.
Season 3 may or not be on abstract.
We don't know what's going to happen with Layer 2s in the near future here.
So we're kind of just keeping our alert system up.
And it's why we also are doing Nbles and frankies on mainnet is we just believe there's
way more mobility and i think for our holders we just know that there's a
a bit more certainty for the future
also back in the day minting on mainnet was crazy with gas fees right and I think this problem is gone these days. And yeah, it's very interesting. Maybe
one more thing towards the
chain. Like, what do you expect
from the chain that you want to actually
use? Like,
do you want from them any incentives
to join?
Because I think it's also interesting to
hear from our
point of view.
We have a lot of builders here on ApeChain, right?
So what new collections are looking for and what helps them the most?
Of course, one is like money.
I remember a lot of chains, they actually offer money.
But is there anything else that you really would like to see from the chain?
I think it comes down to the product you're building.
And so for us, maybe if I'm basing it on the game portion, speed, cost, you know, those are going to be more important to us
than probably anything else in some senses. Like we would, of course, security and we want, you
know, the confirmations. And so like even Solana, you know, like Solana itself is safe, but if there
is too much volume, we know it could get shaky. It could make the game, you know, there could be just UX issues. So I think a big thing is how much volume can it actually withstand
is a big question. How quickly can we get those transactions to process so that there is no lag
in the game? And then we do like to sponsor most of our stuff. We try not to have people pay for
stuff as they're playing games. I think it really ruins the experience. So how much is it going to
hurt us to sponsor that gas is another question. But again, it's just really ruins the experience. So how much is it going to hurt us to sponsor that gas is another question.
But again, it's just down to the product.
So if you're not building a game, maybe that's not what makes sense for you.
Maybe you do need to go something that's a bit slower that you'd have zero miss blocks
or something else.
So look at stuff that's just product market fit.
And then the other thing for us for Abstract, the portal made sense.
It really, really makes sense.
It's why you see base trying to do it
because the one thing we lack the most
and we even realized that making a game is
how many people we didn't know in the space
that also made games just because they run another chain.
Crazy thing, why we don't have a singular app store
for web three that is like literally everything
like an app store, like it's what needs to be done.
We even joke like, do we just make it because it just so needed right now that you can just have higher discovery rate so
I think that's also a factor and probably for everybody's just discovery rate how many people
are there and then what is that user base but of course as well if a chain is going to wave money
in your face that's always going to be nice but we haven't been paid by a chain yet either so we
have just gone over and built because we thought there was cool products there
yeah yeah rita i know like uh builders on ape chain they usually get
uh what was the sum rita was it one million dollars or
yes per product uh one million their product yeah yes okay

I do have a question regarding the App Store and you choosing to move to Abstract.
So did they offer you anything to move to Abstract, to build on Abstract?
You said they gave us a few incentives.
No, so it was an invite for us in the very beginning.
There was really no incentive for us to go over.
We just saw that there was just the session keys that made sense for us in the gaming side of it.
And also the transactions were relatively inexpensive and fast.
A lot of it just had made sense at the time and then just as well like an invitation and let's also i'll be honest at that time abs was 100 was looking like going to
be the biggest l2 so to be invited early it would be foolish for us to not like go build something
over there do something to be part of the excitement so that was i guess the incentive
if you want to call it that there was just a lot of mind share at the time and it was just it was very opportunistic to make
sure we put one of us is that still the case or does that change you know i think that there's
been like there's quite a bit of sentiment change around abstract lately and it's pretty obvious you
know and so uh we're aware and it's just it's that i think there's just a lot going on in the market
and it's not the fault of any one person or thing.
It's just, there is impatience with web three.
So regardless of what ends up happening with abs, I just think that they're in the moment right now where people are impatient.
And so we'll see, I think six, eight, nine months down the road, whatever it is, what is actually going on and what the bigger plans are.
And then there's a big actual decision that can be made is, okay, they or they are succeeding and these are the reasons why where right now it's kind of like
okay it's just the growth pains i think more than anything else for him
it came on come to a chain i know where do you where are you looking at some other side
so so mad interested his his first mint on Ape Chain went very, very well.
They minted 21,499 pieces or 95 pieces.
That was individuals on OpenSea because they're their official partner of OpenSea who took home a Frankie the Frog because anybody who holds Frankie the Frog actually has a gold Frankie.
So, yeah, they've already done their first minute on Ape Chain.
And guess what, guys?

That's all I'm going to say.
I don't want to ruin anything, you know, but there's a lot of storytelling to do.

you know as a storytelling continuation platform you know l2s are definitely having a battle against
main main net uh but the difference with a chain right is that we have the super app and metaverse
of the
other side where you have what's built already now, but you're going to have what you can build
yourself in the future, right? So, for example, I, in my case, with storytelling with Albarra,
which is also a story that nurtures on messages and chopping through the woods and all this,
the idea was ApeChain because it lets you continue the story on the 3D rails of the metaverse,
right? Outside Web 2, you can do whatever 3D rails of the metaverse, right?
Outside Web 2, you can do whatever you want as well, of course, right?
But you can then link it to a virtual world that's going to be interoperable and run an ApeChain rails.
So, you know, that's my shill on why I think ApeChain would be great
if you're a storytelling project.

Now, I couldn't agree more, man.
When we came over there, because because I went over I don't know
beginning the year I saw Mac at Basil we just kind of sat and chatted and Mac and I have known each
other over the years of just me working for you know three landers and Frankie's and stuff and so
but when we got in there the first time I was I was just impressed I can't remember whose other
games I came to I can't remember what project it was but for one it was just the amount of people
that I knew this was a very very still beta state and it was kind of like just an early access and just how many people were excited to
just be there and be part of it and feel like they were early again and just those same subculture
feelings i think we felt early on in 2020 and 2021 and i i looked at it and you know obviously
we did frankie's we did our frankie adventure or frankie, Frankie other games day over there.
And again, I just felt like the curation level you can do is so high for your community. You can literally do one-off events in a way that I don't think you can do through even a website for yourself.
Like we're very much about like having experiential things, you know, my past is in luxury retail.
Like the luxury retail, the items are not that much different
than the things you're going to buy at target but it's the experience you have while shopping that
makes them so important sometimes and that's what i want all of our holders to feel is you know i
don't necessarily want to make the price more expensive but i want the experience to feel so
luxurious that you just can't get anywhere else and we are hitting a time where we're so over
stimulated by our phone or by our screens.
The other side, when we're there, it just feels like you really do like stop for a second and enjoy it and just chat and take a breath.
And then as well, I got to see them bring in Chico and the pig in our boot house.
I'm like, we can tell so many stories here and have so much fun.
And just, I don't know.
I see what you guys see.
it to to really see the vision for a year two three down the road not for what it is just right
now in its current state yeah because as you mentioned patience doesn't exist in web 3 and i
think other side is a great tool to actually bring experiences for your holders and collectors right
that they they can do something interact with each other have fun, you know, and you can keep working
on whatever your, you know, bigger goal is.
Whether it's other game or comic series or, you know,
Netflix series, who knows, right? So, absolutely love that.
