you there. But what I'm doing is as failed three times in a row at 20%, which is absolutely crazy. What I'm doing
again, I'm trying to, I just failed four times in a row. Unbelievable. 20% chance to fail. And I
failed four times in a row. Those odds are small. Do not do it again. I just lost again. Hold on a
second. I gotta, I gotta do it properly before I'm able to get it. That's just unheard of.

this is going right you just never know you blink and all of a sudden you're an extra 5,000 episodes

few additional things going on this is my first gaming ape show unemployed i'm very excited about
that uh i yeah it was very fun literally as soon as i had to to cut off the meeting right i had to
wrap up i had to wrap up last week's show really quickly because I had a meeting scheduled and that was my last meeting.
So this is a celebration here.
A celebration and it's a continued start of a new era for the Gaming Apes show.
It sounds funny when you say it like that but it's kind of not it's a you know
it's a gaming industry is tough right now the gaming industry is very tough right now um you
know i it is what it is i kind of had a feeling was kind of expecting it very proud that i'm the
only person in the world who can say that he contributed to the launch of both dookie dash and pudgy party
that's kind of cool no one could take that away from me but you know now we can we've got some
exciting stuff coming up right i were able to focus fully on the fisters it was done as you know
not a side project like it's taking it's definitely taking my energy and I'm proud we were able to get this art out here.
But being able to focus and shift more of that into it, it's a little scary.
But at the same time, it's incredibly exciting.
And so, yeah, I mean, we could use this.
We could talk about the space and Web3 gaming industry as a whole right now from the studio side to the creator side.

where there is no floor and it kind of looks like we're just all floating in the air.

we had a really great time at the games and it was changed up this weekend.

we're getting a little bit more back to our creative spirit,
our creative side and thinking about environment utilization and stuff like
that. And like, I kind of missed the swap a little bit, you know what I mean?

and um we're working something out in the back with our managers they know each other
so um yeah i'm supposed to call him today actually it. It's Monday, so I got to check in with him and see if I got any good news about any announcements.
But I got to get this fixed, so I'm just locking in with Cushlings. I'm locking in with communities
like yours. I want to sweep the floor with Fisters and show a lot of support and support the people
that have always been around that I trust, that are consistent.

able to build it up to like, when I see 200 or something like mutual follows, I'm like, okay,
the odds are this is like a real person, but you know, people will take the time to, to get those
connections there before they start showing up and to, to build that, making it tricky.

me up it's cool i think we just connected recently i've seen the fisters and i think i've been to
your coming to your space kind of infrequently for a while.
I just kind of try to jump in whatever I notice.

It's pretty good actually having him.
He's like one of the few people that I have notifications on because he jumps into spaces a lot.

was you know uh i guess kind of technically a bit of an oghn project because we launched
back in january so in the early days the um but but yeah i've been around been cooking for nine
months uh there was no royalties for the first nine months or anything.
It was a free mint. I've just been building and I had to do work on the side obviously to fund my time here. But I've just been kind of cooking the whole time. I'm a 3D artist. I've got a lot of
professional work. Doing a lot of music videos and done tour visuals and stuff like that usually.
I've done tour visuals and stuff like that usually.
And then just, yeah, just wanted to bring my skills here.
I did work for a year and a half or so.
I worked for a Web3 company developing another project.
And then I finished working on it, and then they kicked me off the team.
Basically, the work was done.
They were just like, all right, thanks, see you.
And I was like, oh, no.
They had no royalties or anything. And then I felt bad because i'm an artist and i care about
everything i make so like that i was like right i need to make something i need to make something
myself and and do something and i'm so glad to have like having a great time there is no
there is like a whole plan behind what i want to do but as a solo artist and just as the kind of tools and
things in the space evolve themselves I'm just letting the project evolve and I'm just throwing
myself into all the things that I find fun um I'm currently working on a bit of a platform to help
people get into the other side and stuff and get set up with systems that I've got because I've got full kind of customizability and wearables similar to what you'll see with like the Pixel Pals
or Foxy Fam I think of something similar, excuse me.
But yeah, it's just really, it's an art project that's what I try to say rather than like
a, I don't know, any other kind of thing because I do have an end goal for this. I want to do other art projects in the future,
but I'm hoping that once I get to the end of this,
I've got a pretty healthy ecosystem left behind.
And there is a whole story.
It is actually a narrative-driven project.
I've just never got a chance to,
just because I keep building and keep finding new things
that I love doing, like dev work.
I've never really dev'd until I started doing these projects and i've made a few websites and a whole
bunch of contracts and things like that so i'm getting really into that as well now um but i am
an animator at heart that's like my main thing i do like cinematic stuff you can see things on my
profile um where in the world where in the world are you i'm sc Scotch. Can I tell him real quick, Haifa, the music video you made?
He made a music video for one of the most well-known songs in the freaking world.
And you wouldn't even know that this is a 3D animated music video.
It looks like it's absolutely real life.
Down to every single bit of it looks like it's real life.
But if you've ever heard the

alan walker yes oh alan walker he's just being my sorry i'm thinking about it no that's all right
alan oh i'm thinking i was thinking of yeah alan watts is cool he's he's my he's my he's my bro wrong one wrong one
my man hell yeah but but yeah so i worked for him he's my main been my main client over most of my
3d things so i've done a world tour for him i've done like numerous music videos now uh all kind
of 3d stuff and then a few like scenes in other music videos they've done um i was
offered actually a full-time job it's actually i guess my kind of the kind of i guess the cool
thing that i did was that they offered me a full-time job out in norway they've got a big
villa like a mansion thing there where they do you know the whole team works from uh but i turned it
down to to continue to work on the Flingers, basically.
So, yeah, there we go.
I'm still here.
I still do some work for them every so often.
It's just less now that I'm going a bit more full-time into the Web3 stuff because I'm helping build out other collections.
If you've seen the Zards in the other side, I made those 3D models.
If you see the typical Tigers, I'm making them.
I'm making a monos collection a bunch
of other collections that are coming as well so yeah i'm a bit more full-time here now
love so what's your experience been again we love we love art right like there's just so many
different ways that people buy nfts and you know this is also me just picking your brain because
at the core the fisters are an art project as well. You know, I was able to shepherd Evan's art here and just, you know, the art of community building and kind of like our Gaming Ape show.
What are some problems you've seen here too?
And, you know, I do still see a lot of people that do love collecting it for the art and having these digital art pieces.
What are some things that you've seen just as an artist kind of going through
and putting out an art project there versus like, hey,
we're promising X, Y, and Z utility that a lot of people are used to,
to expecting or demanding in this space.
And what's it been like growing a community around that?
Yeah, I mean, it's been pretty slow, to be honest,
especially like launching as a free project with no royalties.
It's like, you know, there's not even any funding there to kind of push things when you need to and that's
uh i mean i did because i do like i said i take music videos and stuff here so i've been able to
inject my own my own liquidity and stuff into the stuff behind it but the main honestly but that's
not really the main thing i think the main thing is just trying to try is is like it just takes time sometimes when you're trying to do things authentically and uh like in a
when you're a solo founder trying to do something kind of big you have to just take your time and
i guess the hard thing is just trying to rise above the noise a little bit um it's not really
been until the last month or so that
that things have really started kicking off with with the project and that and that's more
that's really i think a lot down to me as well coming out more as a founder and jumping in spaces
and just talking to people and with the other side coming out as well that's helped because i've been
i've been pretty pretty in there since since the early days of the documents coming out and stuff,
trying to help people and other projects get set up and just understand workflows and stuff.
Because this is what I do, you know.
This is my jam.
And I was already looking for customization kind of things to set up before this even came out.
So it was just a kind of synchronous thing.
I think the hard thing is just, yeah, rising above the noise
and kind of, you know, you have to prove yourself.
But maybe that's not really a problem or an issue
because that is kind of how it should be.
I think there probably should be a higher bar for projects.
But at the same time, I feel like I was always kind of providing
some kind of quality and maybe I could have,
maybe I feel like a little bit sometimes that maybe it could have been kicked off earlier,
but at the same time, as soon as I started putting myself out there, things started going better.
As soon as I started finding my pace with these new systems and new you know other founders and people and stuff it's it's
definitely changed so i think most of the time these we can it's easy to see the problems but
you can get past them if you just bear with it and get get over it slightly internally and just
shut out that noise and just keep going oh yeah relationships are so important and what's the one
thing that really like makes the strongest relationships?
It's time, right?
Time and effort.
That can't be fake, right?
You can't fake the funk.
You can't fake the funk.
And so as you've kind of been out and grow, you know, talk about these like overnight success stories.
No, that's not happening because you're doing your thing every single day.
You're showing up, you're building your processes. And then when it kind of clicks,
you don't know when it clicks. So it seems like it's going to be an overnight thing. But
the people that become those like overnight sex stories, 99% of the time, they've been working
at their craft and building every single day, preparing for that moment, man. Dude, would love
to figure out some sort of collaboration we could do with the flingers and the fisters one they sound kind of similar which is fun and two you know just like just
cool art projects doing the three awesome 3d art on ape chain maybe we get like a 3d art space or
something maybe we can figure something out but uh yeah dude i'm a fan of the art also i got a
question too what's with the cheese are you a Packers fan or something?
I don't know anything, but I just thought it was funny.
And I was kind of encouraged. It egged on by some people I was hanging around with when I was building out.
And it just looked hilarious. So I was like, yeah, I'm doing it.
And it needs to be really big.
It's like a thing in cinematography or whatever.
If you make the thing not fit inside the image so on the image it's like it's not even like
like fully in there on the nft but if you do that it makes the thing feel bigger than it actually is
because when we see an image we go oh it can't even fit on the screen it's so big
or yeah so i know it's a huge it's definitely it's definitely
different it is definitely different like i tell you that much the cheese head again like that's
i'm an american football fan so that like represents a team i don't know if you you knew
this yeah i know i kind of knew when i was getting into it but i didn't realize uh i didn't realize
how recognizable it would be
it's like what most people that's the first thing most people say when they see it it's pretty good
hold on a second did a new one just pop up and yeah i also love the cheese face too
the face is great i'm sure that they look in the double cheese combo looks pretty sweet
there's triple cheeses there's quadruple cheeses now we got because we got a wearable
we got a wearable thing it's like a walker see it's like a kind of similar to like one of those
old star wars kind of imperial walkers and your character can jump he like when you put it on
your character's inside of it so you can have the cheese skin the cheese head and the cheese walker
on one i've got that actually to wear on the other side is a hilarious just kind of custom combo but it's mental i love it that's so fun man well i appreciate coming up and hanging out telling
us a little bit more uh i'm in your dms you know i got some trades that i'm looking at too we got a
you know when i buy one i just i i i hodl forever so i want to get one that i you know i've been
tracking them i've been tracking them uh Might pick one up off the floor.

working on that for me but we holding out out. I'm waiting on to get the suite

but it makes no sense to do it the way I do it because I just double my bet every time until I
hit a jackpot when you're only supposed to double your bet. I guess, I don't know, there's another
way of doing it, but I don't follow the normal rules. So if you're like me, you're likely in a
different category of D-Gen when it comes to Ape Church. But statistically speaking, if you play
the games the way they're intended or the strategies that are out there, the house edge is very low compared to normal casinos.
So I have seen people do that.
I see people doing like smaller bets.
I can tell they're testing out their strategy because they follow up with it later with like a little bit more aggressive bet.
So it's really cool to watch this unfold, like how people are applying strategy to the various games and what are they doing to try to give themselves an edge. A lot of different strategies I'm seeing
though. And my favorite one so far is what you said. It's definitely the people that are hedging
their bet by staking. And I'm not sure if you noticed, but every thousand ape you stake in the
house, it increases your referral rate by 1%. So up to 10%. And then we also released some items
over the weekend that if you buy these items with your gimbal points, they do the same thing.

And in crypto, I think that's like one of the secret sauces in this space is, is being
able to bring people together to build together and really create this massive snowball. So we've
been working with guys like the Balloons, GGs, and we have conversations going with a few others,
including yourself. But what we're looking for in the beginning, we do have like this white
glove approach that we're tackling at the moment, because in order to get the game into
Ape Church on the front end you know there's
a little bit of work that needs to be done so we definitely want to um kind of go kind of approach
it from a white glove perspective have a conversation with the team see what kind of
game loop they have in mind and then together we kind of ideate a way uh to put the you know to put
the game loop together put the ui ux together and get it connected. But in the future, there will be even a simpler way
for people to build on top of the Ape Church smart contract infrastructure. So that'll come

One other thing I want to mention with a church is that something that, you know, fees are important, right?

Can you explain the thought process behind that
and kind of how that works and how that works for everyone?
Because that's something that I was impressed with, with the mechanism.
Yeah, so the smart contract for that is built in a way that
we want to try to preserve value long-term for those who stake and believe long-term.
So the 2% is to kind of aid
in that. And one of the reasons is so people don't try to like come in with a big amount of ape,
catch a bunch of like volume and then just unstake right away. Right. You want people to be,
you want people to stay for a little bit longer term. And so when people do come in and go right
away, well then the people that are stayed, they benefit from that so that's kind of the
the idea is you want to you want to try to align the benefits with long term a long-term um position
but without without giving people without forcing people to stay right a lot of staking systems will
be like oh if you lock up for three months we'll give you a higher yield or if you lock up for six
months we'll give you a higher yield so the way you lock up for six months, we'll give you a higher yield. So the way we can kind of combat that and not force you into a position for a certain amount
of months is we just add this fee that stays, that it's retained in the underlying asset,
APE, right? It just leaves a little bit of APE left for the rest of the people in the house.
So it has like this self-appreciating for everyone else that's left, right?
So that's kind of the goal of it.

but we wanna be able to open up
and make it easier for people on other chains to come on.
So we're working with ApeCoin directly with that
to try to make sure that there's a nice flow
for people that are coming from Solana, BNB,
and even people that have Fiat.
So like Apple Pay, things like that. So those type of on-ramp providers from Fiat directly flow for people that are coming from solana b&b and even people that have fiat so like apple pay
things like that so those type of on-ramp providers from fiat directly into funding your your wallet
with ape um so we'll be we'll be working on that aggressively um we released an item in the loot
shop that's kind of like a a sneaky hint for what we have coming with the collection uh you can buy
these things they're called a Missionary Runestone.
But it's actually going to be,
it's an augment for the Gimbos.
So just kind of a little hint, I guess,
as to what the Gimbos will be like when we go live with them.
You'll actually be able to augment them
and change out traits and stuff like that.
And these traits will enhance your in-game benefits, et cetera.
