I was at Rare Evo last month.
And, you know, hopefully this coming next year, I'm able to kind of line up quite a few more events because now I got an itch to scratch once I got started for sure.
This is a bullseye.
This is a bullseye.
So, exciting, so exciting, so exciting, so exciting, so exciting times ahead, man.
True, yeah.

Good night, good night, good night, good night, good night, good night, good night, whatever your time.
This is Abdul from Rage Effect, I'm the community manager at Rage Effect, so nice to meet you all and happy to be here.
So, basically, Rage Effect.
I'm catching some FOMO.
This is a bullseye.
This is a bullseye.
I'm going to be at Token, but I won't be at Token, but I won't be sticking around for a breakpoint, but for those of you guys who are, please do go swing by the booth at Rage Effect and go get some cool content trying out the game.
That'd be sick.
All right, let's swing it over to Bitpurpp.
I think joining us for the first time here on Gaming on the Edge.
GM, who do we have joining us today?
Hey, how's it going, guys?
We're at Bitpurpp.
We're the first on-chain perp text for ordinals, rooms, and BRC20 tokens, although we use a synthetic model.
So, you know, we're able to replace a lot of different assets from different ecosystems as well, soon to, at least.
And that includes GameFi assets, AI, et cetera, et cetera.
So, you know, trying to get more community over here.
We're also going to be at Token 2049, so, you know, we'd love to meet up with anybody here.
Just, like, feel free to shoot us a DM.
If there's any cool side events, let us know, and happy to talk.
Absolutely, my friend.
Do be on the lookout for an invite for those of you who are new for the first time today on Gaming on the Edge.
We will be having Leo from the H&A account sending out invites to you guys to come join us in the Telegram group,
where we would love for you guys to share any links to any side events you're planning on being at.
That way, we can try to get more of the Gaming on the Edge fam linking up out at Token 2049.
So, definitely be on the lookout for that message coming from Leo.
Next, let's swing it over to Feezy joining us, I think, for the first time today as well.
GM, my friend, how are you?
Hello, everyone.
Glad to be on this space.
I can see lots of top gaming projects.
You know, people are known for Kana as well.
Really, really excited to be here and talk all things about gaming.
So, basically, Web3 content creator and also the founder of Web3 media brand called East ID Hive.
What we're trying to do at East ID Hive is we're trying to be that bridge between Web3 and Africa.
I'm from Africa.
I'm Nigerian.
I'm trying to get more Web2 gamers into Web3 gaming.
I host a weekly podcast where I get to host a lot of gaming projects.
So, I would love to have you guys on my podcast sometime.
And, yeah, man.
I'd love to be here, man.
Thanks a lot.
Oh, Feezy, that sounds awesome, man.
I'd absolutely love to jump on a podcast with you guys.
We have quite a few Nigerians now starting to enter our community, which I'm super excited about.
Really hyped for the region.
I think we're on a big uptrend in that region.
So, definitely would love to chop it up with you.
I just gave you a follow as well.
So, excited to check out your content and your show, man.
So, appreciate you jumping on.
And fire, fire PFP, by the way.
All right.
Let's swing it over to Phil.
Speaking of fire PFPs coming in hot with the Mutant Ape.
GM, sir, how are you doing today?
Hey, good evening, guys.
GM, good morning.
Wherever you are based.
Great to be back on Ancient Ape.
Phil Watkins, founder of OV.live.
It's a live streaming and gaming ecosystem.
So, providing that Web3 version of Twitch.
Essentially, it's a scalable WebRTC custom-built streaming engine.
It allows us to basically control everything front to back and provide a more rewarding,
scalable solution for content creators.
So, when we couple that with the AI solutions that we're bringing as well, it allows gamers
and content and creators to simply do what they prefer doing, which is streaming, gaming,
and creating content.
Happy to be here.
I am heading to Token 2049 at the Solana Breakpoint as well.
So, I just dropped everyone here a follow.
So, please reach out.
Looking forward to this space.
Awesome stuff, Phil.
Really excited to check out your platform.
I'm all for these kind of decentralized platforms coming to upend and disrupt the traditional streaming market.
So, excited to see what you guys are cooking up there.
Next, let's swing it over to joining us again here for another week in a row.
The Culture Swine from Moonray Game.
Welcome back, my friend.
How are you doing today?
Yeah, doing really well, man.
Excited to be here.
Unfortunately, I won't be at Token 2049 myself, but the team will be.
So, if you're looking to meet with Moonray at all, just let me know.
I'll do my best to connect you with our execs.
Yeah, man.
Looks like we got a lot of awesome people here on the panel.
Really excited to see everyone speak.
Love having you back, brother, and excited to hear that the Moonray team will be out at Token 2049.
So, definitely would love to find out where they're going to be and how we can get connected with them while we're out there.
All right.
Last but not least, Diamond, I believe, joining us for the first time here.
GM, my friend.
How are you doing today?
Yo, GM, everyone.
It's amazing to be here, actually.
Yeah, speaking from Nigeria.
I actually hopped into the space to support my brother here, Fizi.
Like, we have been doing amazing stuff here with pushing the gaming ecosystem with his podcast Inside the Hive with Fizi.
Like, I actually want to see more of you guys on our podcast.
So, that's just it.
And also, I actually want to say one more thing.
Like, it's been kind of short to see some mobile game in the Web30 gaming space.
And more of the games we are having are just a normal PC game and gaming console.
So, like, I hope we can be having a mobile game too.
So, that's just it.
Yeah, absolutely, my friend.
I've actually played a couple fire mobile games recently in the past few weeks.
So, that has me really bullish on what's cooking in gaming.
One that I'd love to shout out right now is Super Champs.
It's probably the game I'm most addicted to right now on the mobile front.
But, yeah, man, some really exciting games coming to the space in Q4, I believe, as well.
So, mobile is definitely cooking.
And I'm excited to see more of it.
With that being said, let's go ahead and get this thing started.
We have a full panel of guests today.
So, I'm going to try to hear from everyone at least one time here.
So, we'll try to swing things around and keep it moving.
Just to let you guys know how we typically do it on this panel, I'm going to throw a question out there.
And the first person that wants to jump in there, go ahead and jump in there.
If not, I'll choose someone.
And then you guys can raise hands up from there and we'll try to go in whatever order we can.
Feel free to ask each other questions.
If you have any questions for one another, we like to keep the panel kind of open and conversational as possible.
And one last thing before we get started, just a quick hello to some of our friends down in the audience.
I see my man, George, in the meta.
Web3's number one TikTok creator, as well as a fantastic creator here on X as well.
My man, Kunta, in the building.
Also, I see Ron's got his profile down there.
Eva, Beamcat, hello to everyone.
Thank you guys for hanging with us.
And I hope you guys are excited for this chat today.
All right, let's go ahead and jump straight in.
Token 2049 is going to happen in just a week from now.
So I want to know what are you guys most looking forward to in probably one of the most important events of the year?
What do you guys have on your radar?
What should we potentially have on our radar as well?
Whoever wants to start off, kick us off.
What are you guys looking at?
What's exciting?
What's going on out there?
All right, start us off, Shiv.
Most definitely.
So I think for us, it's definitely about networking, about putting ourselves out there.
And we have two different approaches really for Token 2049 as well as Breakpoint.
For Breakpoint, given that we're going to have a kiosk or booth, it's more about showcasing the game itself, meeting new projects from Solana's ecosystem and showcasing the end product.
While in Token 2049, it is more about getting those connections from investors, going to side events, see what's going on overall in the space.
And I think in terms of preparation, the best thing that anyone should do, and even in the past events I have gone to, what sort of worked well for me is understanding the different profiles of people that you're going to meet most often.
Whether it's investors, whether it's fellow BDs, whether it's KOLs, and have a sort of elevator pitch tailored to each and every one of them.
So what I'm actually doing is, like, I have four different 60-second pitches memorized for how I'm going to, like, present to investors versus to a fellow project or maybe someone who's a KOL or who can help with branding.
And I think that is definitely very helpful.
On the preparation side, understanding what sort of side events you want to be at really helps.
Given that a lot of them are just free and easy to sign up for, of course, you can sign up for as many, but then actually making that itinerary should be thought of in a way because we only have a few days there.
So each day needs to actually be adding value.
So I think a good way to go about it is starting with your ideal output from the trip for your project and then sort of reverse engineering from there to see what sort of events can help get you those sort of introductions, can help get you that exposure.
And that's been very helpful for us.
And that's a very good starting point.
Kicking us off with the big Alpha Shiv.
I love that, man.
That is a really great approach to have.
And I love the fact that you actually have multiple elevator pitches.
Like, most people don't even come prepared with one.
You have one depending on the type of person that you're talking to, which is just elite level of, you can tell Shiv has done this before.
So that's inspiring.
I actually have never thought about it that way.
So you just planted a seed in my mind in terms of having kind of a little bit of an adjusted pitch depending on who it is that you're talking to.
I really love that.
That's a gold nugget to kick things off.
All right.
I didn't really pay attention to how hands went up.
So I'm going to go from like top to bottom from what I can see.
So the next one is going to be Phil.
And then we'll go to Crush AI.
Then we'll go to Rage Effect and Bit Perk.
Yeah, it sounds a little bit crazy, but planning for this week really did start about, I don't know, maybe five, six weeks ago.
So, you know, and that's down to even just accommodation, basically warming up those conversations on leads on certain people, like Shiv was saying, who you want to catch up with.
More importantly, if you do have those warm conversations, you know, not trying to bring out this inner stalker, but you know, if you can stay roughly in the same area, it obviously offers for greater opportunity for meetups in the morning, coffees, lunches, etc.
In and around the main events, just basically enabling you to have those obviously greater conversations.
So, you know, I'm really looking forward to Asian blockchain gaming week at the beginning of the week, at the beginning Monday and Tuesday, token 2049, obviously on the Wednesday and Thursday, and then Salina breakout point Friday and Saturday.
And plus we have the F1 in town.
So it's, it's going to be a huge week with a lot of personalities from all different industries.
So, yeah, looking forward to it.
Absolutely.
And I'd like you guys to take this opportunity to be a little selfish here and let us know kind of what are you generally looking for at the event, because there may be people in this room that you might want to chat with.
You might want to schedule a meetup with.
So also let us know, like, Phil, what is kind of your main focus of what you're looking for in terms of the conversations that you're having out there this upcoming week?
Yeah, so same as Shiv, it ranges from investors.
So where Ovi is concerned, the platform, the streaming engine is coming online.
And essentially, we're looking to, for those founding core gaming partners, as well as potential game, I can't really say too much, but esports tournaments to actually host and basically provide that streaming opportunity to.
Because we have our own streaming engine, we can offer it out as a service or white labeled solution as well.
So there's a variety of different conversations from investors, gamers, streamers, marketeers, and yeah, essentially service product offerings as well.
So, yeah, all of the above, it's going to be a busy week.
Very, very cool stuff.
Definitely, we'll have to catch up out there as well, Phil, if we have the time to.
It sounds like really cool stuff.
I'd like to hear a little bit more about it.
All right.
Next, let's swing it over to Crush AI.
What do you guys got cooking for Token?
Hey, guys.
Yeah, no, really appreciate all these great initiatives in alpha that's being shared here.
So, yeah, we're actually really looking forward to Token as well.
So myself and our head of marketing is also going to be there.
And we're actually going to be, we're planning on releasing early access for the Crush AI bot.
So we're finalizing some beta testing right now.
And we'd love to get some user feedback from the Prime DGens that are going to be participating at this event.
And just people that just want to have a better experience of researching and trading coins and different tokens out there.
So, yeah, if you wanted to be part of this early access list, please give us a follow on Twitter.
And we'll be rolling that up pretty soon.
Love that.
Love that.
So your guys' main initiative is looking for people there that can potentially be beta testers, essentially.
So that's one of them.
And also, we're also going to be like beginning our seed round raise as well.
So it's like we're looking forward to connecting with investors and VCs.
So if AI agents and companion bosses, if this is something that you're interested in, let us know.
Awesome, awesome stuff.
Definitely know there's going to be a lot of investors in the rooms at Token.
They're usually jam-packed out there looking for those gems.
So I hope you strike some good conversations out there.
All right.
Next, let's swing it over to Rage.
What do you guys got planned for Token?
Hello, guys.
So basically for Token, I mean, we've been planning for this special day, I would say, for a week for now.
I mean, we started by bringing big partners to big campaigns just to plan to get more people know about Rage Effect just before the Token 24.
So, first of all, the big campaign was with OKEx and Sonic, if you know them.
I mean, everybody knows OKEx for sure.
I mean, so started with that campaign and we're still cooking some big announcements that's going to be coming before this Token 2049.
So it's going to be a very, very exciting announcement, I would say.
I'm really excited about the outcome of it.
So, yeah, we're planning those, of course, before the Token 2049.
Sadly, I won't be there.
But the team, of course, as I said, will be there at Solana Breakpoint.
So, what we're actually excited for, seeing the gamers, that's the main thing.
Because, like, at Rage Effect, our main focus, I would say, the game.
So, I mean, we spent the whole bear market, I would say, just planning on how to make the game feels better, looks better.
We're trying to be, I would say, the best AAA shooting game in Web3 and Web2 space with the big partners that we're partnering with, I would say.
So, yeah. And, of course, we're excited to see a lot of the big investors.
No NFT, no token right now is up.
We're mainly focusing on the game.
So that thing comes later.
So, investors, of course, we're pretty excited to seeing them on the Token 2049.
Exciting, exciting times ahead. Love to hear that, Abdul. I'm curious, as a creator myself, what do you guys have planned for Solana Breakpoint?
The game is going to be live and playable at Breakpoint, I imagine, right?
Yeah, yeah, for sure. I mean, the game is already live. Everybody can download it.
It's up on the mobile and the PC. You can just download it and play it right now.
But we're, some of the things we're planning is just a big, I would say, to our, I mean, I can spoil some things.
Like, very nice tournament is going to be happening there.
I won't spoil more details about the partners and everything else.
But, yeah, it will be announced over Twitter for sure.
Love it, love it.
Well, as a content creator, if I could give any little bit of alpha,
if this is not something you guys are already thinking about, I'm sure it probably is.
There should be something about your booth that is, that creates some sort of virality,
or something that makes people really feel, I need to take a picture with this thing,
or I need to record this thing of Rage Effect.
And this is what's going to be seen on the timeline by everyone,
because all the creators that show there, they have to show this thing on the timeline,
because this thing is so cool.
So whether it's a character, a beautiful girl dressed in cosplay as a character in your game,
something like that, cook it up, have it ready to rock and roll,
because that's one of the best ways to get a ton of free promo during the event like Token 2049.
That's the only alpha I can give as a creator.
That's what I'm usually looking for when I'm scouting around.
It's like, who can give me a nice little viral clip for today?
I'm really looking for that from games a lot of the time.
So cool stuff to be thinking about.
All right, I'm going to swing it over to Bitpurpp.
What do you guys got planned for Token?
Yeah, I think also just when approaching Token 2, if you go on Luma,
it's just, you can see like, you know, 99% of the events there.
And so it's like a really easy way, low lift way to like plan accordingly.
So definitely recommend doing that just in case you like missed anything on your timeline.
Yeah, no, I think we're always looking to find like really interesting projects,
either to partner with or, you know, potentially list their token on our DEX.
You know, Asia is pretty bullish on Bitcoin.
So one thing that's like not really as emphasized is like sort of the Bitcoin gaming community.
So, you know, on the lookout for interesting projects kind of within that specific niche,
I think it's a bit underrepresented.
And I think last time in Hong Kong, there was BitBoy, which is like an interesting gaming device.
So it'd be great to see some more love in that sector.
100%, man. I find actually gaming on Bitcoin as being probably one of the most fascinating
in terms of the gaming space and just the, you know, the longevity,
especially if we're talking like a fully on-chain game of sorts.
So I think that does.
It's still in the 50s.
Yeah. 100%.
Yeah. Super, super exciting.
100%. Cool stuff.
All right. I'm going to swing it over to Ronald.
Then we're going to go to DeFi Zoo Racer.
Then we're going to go to Feezy.
Ronald, what do you guys got planned while you're running around token 2049?
Who are you looking for?
I think what I got planned is very much similar to what you got planned or the rest of the team got planned.
I think we are heading towards a similar direction.
But yeah, also, I just feel sad that I missed the last, the previous edition of our Twitter space
because we were talking about, I think, IP interoperability, if I remember correctly.
I was in Japan at that time and I couldn't really make it for the space.
But yeah, this is something that I really want to share and also something that I'll be exclusively looking for.
That took in 2049 and the rest of the upcoming events.
Because we are innovating the way that we sell IP through bonding curve.
So this approach is like not only enhances our operational efficiency, but also aligns with our core values of transparency and accessibility.
I mean, the reason for this approach is like to avoid financial leakage, of course, demand based pricing.
And of course, ZK, like no liquidity or knowledge needed if you are like a regular user, like one of the standard features of this bonding curve is that it eliminate the need of like external liquidity sources.
So the participants can like buy or sell tokens directly from the curve, making it accessible even for those who may not have extensive knowledge of the market or the IP itself.
This is what we are aiming to achieve.
We have like onboarded to AAA IP infused games, one of them as Stella Forger, which we announced like three weeks ago, if I remember correctly.
Then the other one is, of course, lots of lots of people in this space or let's say the community know about it is Zone 9, which is the first AAA, you know, zombie survival game onboarded on Internet.
So we are also looking out for like OG NFT communities or IPs that we could work with like like Pudgy.
I met them last week at WebEx.
Also, there is Pixelmon, there is Society, a lot of others, Seed World as well, Futureverse, I think Readyverse, just off the top of my head.
I think they are the ones behind the game Ready Player One.
So yeah, lots of others that I would be looking out for.
And of course, if you have like any of those intros, if you want to make or yourself, if you want to like chat or like know a bit about our roadmap, feel free to chat with me.
I have my personal profile on for that reason.
And I'll also be dropping one of the side events that we are hosting.
I'll be dropping down below on the comment section from my personal profile.
So just feel free to check it out.
And of course, sign up, join us and meet some of our core team members and know what we are like building apart from the Twitter space.
Of course, we always see you week in and week out, but definitely would like to catch up with you guys in real life.
Yeah, 100 percent, man.
For those of you guys who don't know, Ronald's account is down there.
Ron, he's got the green circle around him there.
So that's his personal account.
So if you guys want to shoot a DM chat with Ron about Space 3 or anything regarding Ancient 8, because Ron is our our main BD at Ancient 8 as well.
He's the man to to make sure you're synced up with out there at Token.
All right.
Next, let's swing it over to DeFi Zoo Racer.
But just before we do that, I did want to ping one thing that came to my mind.
It was actually mentioned by who it was mentioned by Bitpurpp, which was Luma.
So definitely Luma is where I think majority of us are making sure to lock in our events.
But if you don't have the list of events, we can actually pin that list as well inside gaming on the edge so that you guys can have that file with all the list of the Luma events.
At least as far as I know, I think it's the main list that's kind of going around that has like some wicked number like 700 side events or something crazy like that.
But I did sift through quite a bit and I found around, I'd say, probably 20 to 30 that are pretty gaming focused.
So for those of you guys who are more on the gaming side of things, it's it's a little bit less overwhelming.
But yeah, definitely Luma is the way to go. And actually, for the first time, I actually utilized the Luma's Web 3 mechanic where I was able to get into an event just based off what I was holding in my wallet, which is the Izuki event that's happening in Token 2049.
And that was the moment that I also realized Web 3 is so freaking cool.
I was able to verify my association to this group through what was in my wallet and just get automatic verification.
That is the way, man. So exciting stuff ahead.
Let's throw it over to DeFi Zoo Racer here, what you got on your mind.
You can tell us a little bit about the event you came from as well.
Yeah. So I was just chiming in on something you mentioned, like maybe a few minutes ago, you know, looking for those opportunities at booths for some kind of virality.
You know, the the event I came from, Rare Eva Wag Me Games literally had a giant human emperor statue that was like eight feet tall with like a six foot gun that you could like pick up and like pose with.
Like and I saw it I saw it on my timeline only six hundred and seventy times during that event.
Yeah. Yeah. Like I'm I wouldn't be surprised if you find a picture with like Charles Hoskinson over there, like with the human emperor.
But yeah, that was just like my connection there.
Like you definitely thinking about something at your booth that, you know, can stand out and make people want to gravitate over to you.
It's definitely a great thing. And, you know, some some of these gaming projects to even are doing it with just like their gaming kind of like displays where, you know, they have all different kinds of like PCs and things.
I'm pretty sure there was even something there where like it was scanning people's bodies to like put them in some kind of like virtual environment or something.
So like stuff like that where it's like very interactive and, you know, have some kind of virality to it is definitely a big thing.
And, you know, just wanted to touch on your point about the, you know, the side events to definitely don't fade the side events go to them.
I totally faded going to the Neo Tokyo third anniversary party, even though I wasn't a holder.
They had like, you know, a plus one system and I was like a plus one and I faded going to it and like apparently that was like the side event of the entire event.
So like don't fade the side events. That's that's my page.
Good reminder there. Fading Neo Tokyo is next level DeFi Zoo Racer, bro. You are on another level, man.
I think they also have an event going on at Token, if I'm not mistaken, as well.
I think they're also having a pretty legit side event. I'm trying to get into that one.
Oh, I was accepted into that one. OK, sweet. I'm actually looking at my Luma as where we're on here as well.
But yeah, really great alpha touching on the, you know, what what Wagney Games did.
That freaking thing was so cool. I saw it on my timeline so many times and it was it was absolutely a reminder of why that's so key.
And the crazy thing is about it is I don't know how much they spend to to have that installation, but it didn't look cheap.
But even if you don't go like the super expensive route, another one that comes to mind for me is like what H&A did during GM Vietnam, which is like a raffle, like spinning wheel, you know, like not even something crazy expensive, just a spinning wheel with some merch and stuff like that.
It creates a really fun little, you know, game for people to play.
Also, Cypher, they had a girl dressed up in cosplay as one of the Cypher characters.
She looked really cool, really cute. Everyone wanted to take pictures with her and they were giving away little Cypher plushie dolls, which became like the item everybody was trying to get their hands on throughout the throughout the convention.
So little things like that, man, they really add some spice. They, you know, sometimes people overlook them because they think it's kind of annoying to like put it all together.
But trust me, I do really believe it's worth it for making a lot of noise at an event that's as important as this one.
You kind of got one shot to make it happen throughout the year. So so go ahead and go for it.
Do you want to add one more thing before we throw it to Feezy?
Yeah, I just had one more thought. So if there is some kind of like gamification or something around the networking on the event, like, you know, registering your badge to do something, don't fade doing that, too.
Because that was like the cool one of the coolest things about the event I was at.
They gamified the networking. It was like network to earn and you got like free swag and stuff.
You know, they might not have something exactly like that at, you know, token 2049.
But if there's some kind of app or networking thing, like use all the tools available to you, because, you know, once the event's over, you're going to be looking back and be like, oh, you know, like, I wish I would have done this.
But yeah, definitely use all the things, you know, they kind of prepare there for you to make the networking as easy as possible for sure.
Great alpha there. Yeah, you actually reminded me at GM Vietnam as well.
They gave away, I think, one of the sweet play, one of the sweet ticket to get a sweet play when they when they drop it, which is really, really cool.
And it was also registered in that same kind of gamified way. So good alpha there.
Let's swing it over to Feezy next. What do you got for us, Feezy?
Yeah, thanks. Well, unfortunately, I'm not going to be out talking 2049.
But I just wanted to say, like, if there's any project out there who's willing to like do a little bit more recap, I'm just hoping to like do a recap about 2049 on my podcast.
So if there's any project out there who'd love to like hop on it, I would definitely love to have you guys.
I can see lots of project out there indicating interest in going there.
So just in case you guys would love to like just do a little bit more review, I would love to like do it with you guys.
Like see. Thanks, man.
Yeah, absolutely. Feezy. Good stuff.
Another little alpha tip right here is like, you know how we have in in, you know, in a traditional buyers market, we have like kind of this marketing plan to try to hit hit users when they are in the buying brain, when they're in the buying mode, in the buying mood.
Right. I think during token 2049, people are in the meeting in the meeting mood and they are really looking to like set up meetings, set up conversations.
So even if you're not going to token 2049, just the fact that, you know, that a lot of people are, it's a great time to try to set something up on their schedule because everybody's trying to utilize that time to do as much networking as possible.
Teams really want to be as productive as possible. And even though you're not there in person to meet with them, a lot of people still meeting online as well.
So if there's anybody that you've had your kind of eye on, you want to do something collaboratively, they're in that mode of like ready to set up meetings and have conversations and try to move things forward.
So a great time, even if you're not going to still try to set those conversations up, because you might be able to reach people that otherwise would be really busy and kind of heads down mode, as a lot of us are in the space a lot of the time.
So a little bit of alpha there on that. Would love to hear as well from Moonray Games.
What is your guys kind of plan going into token? What do you guys have cooking there?
Yeah, so what we're doing is a lot of meetings. We don't normally do booths. We're a big believer in just, you know, setting time up with people and getting to know them, getting to know their staff as well.
So, yeah, like most of what we'll be doing is based on, you know, meeting people, trying to see who could fit in with what we're trying to do as far as our long term vision.
So, yeah, like I said in my intro, if you are looking to set up a meeting, you know, please feel free to reach out to me.
I have a direct line to our execs and they're always eager to meet good people.
It's always a pleasure to be able to meet good people in this space, people who have similar visions and similar outlook on the space as a whole.
So, yeah, it would be cool to be able to set up some meetings with some people for the execs while they're out there.
Love it, man. Yeah, I would love to definitely set up to meet with you, with your team as well while you guys are out there.
I would really love to catch up and kind of meet some team, some of the team for the first time. That would be really cool.
I'm on a little alpha roll here today, so I'll drop another little alpha trick.
Something that I like to do going into a lot of convention events is, you know, one of the things that people typically try to do when it comes to connecting.
You connect with somebody that you meet.
I think one of the fastest ways to make that connection instantaneously, because a lot of people are on the move a lot of the time,
is don't forget to make like a little scan QR code and make it as your wallpaper on your phone.
So make a little QR code with the links to you everywhere.
I like to use like Linktree or one of those guys.
Put all your links, all the information, put it on a scan code and then make that scan code your profile or I'm sorry, your wallpaper.
So that way when you meet someone and they want to connect with you, you literally just click open your phone and they can just take a picture of it and boom, they can connect with you literally everywhere.
I think that that's one of the coolest and like simplest ways.
So just a little strategy trick there.
Did you want to add something to that, DeFi?
Yeah, the real alpha is NFC chips.
So if you find something that you can program NFC chips with, you don't even need to scan the QR code.
You just like wave your phone at it and it pops up.
So that was like heavily integrated into Rare Evo was NFC chips and the badges, even in the swag you got that had like digital collectibles in it.
I got something that some booth gave away.
It's like a memorabilia thing.
It looks like a dollar bill, but it's gold and it says one Ethereum.
It's not one Ethereum, I wish it was, but it has like an NFC chip like built into it.
So I even saw people who had like rings with NFC chips in it that had that, you know, all their links in it.
So that's my alpha is upgrade from QR to programmable NFC, you know, wave your finger at someone's phone.
And then, you know, your links all pop up for them.
So that was that was just my add on that.
DeFi, I don't mean to creep you out right now, but I could kiss you right now, bro, because you just reminded me that at GM Vietnam last year, I was given an NFC card from a company called SoSleek.io.
They gave me one for free and it literally has all my all my links on there and it just goes around the neck and it's a little card.
Dude, yes, that is the alpha.
I was using the heck out of that thing and I forgot that I even had it.
I haven't used it for like the last how many conferences.
I don't even know because this was two years ago when they gave it to me.
So big time alpha right there.
Love that, bro.
Ron, jump in there, man.
What do you got for us?
Yeah, I was like I was going to kiss you both right now, but like no for no homo there.
So just the same.
So the thing is, like, I think I got one of those called Zen card.
It's by coin 98.
And I still have that.
And they have the NFC enabled.
You have the business card.
Literally, you have your LinkedIn, you have your Twitter, everything else, whatever you need.
And it, although it wasn't free for me, and I'm kind of doing free marketing for them.
But yeah, it's worth checking out.
I paid $25 and they have got like, I think they have like NFT exclusive designs.
They had the GM Vietnam design at the time I bought.
They had like a Lunar New Year design.
Very nice looking like cards.
You can also check them out.
I'm just typing on Twitter.
I don't want to do any free marketing for them.
But yeah, that's something that I really like it.
It's really worth checking out, I would say.
Yeah, no, cool stuff, man.
What I actually really love, I don't know if this card is the same, the one that you're talking about.
But the SoSleek card, they actually put your NFT on the card as well.
So the card looks badass, especially if you've got a cool NFT.
I wish I could put my new Izuki on the card that I have from a couple of years ago.
But unfortunately, it's got my mug on there.
But either way, really cool.
I think NFC cards are definitely alpha when it comes to these type of conferences.
Just make that exchange of connections as smooth and easy as possible.
And it just makes your life easy as well.
You don't have to do all this typing and going out of your way.
So good stuff there.
All right.
I think we got a chance to hear from everyone.
I'm not sure if there's any last bit of alpha anybody wants to drop in terms of your plans for Token
or anything else that you guys got cooking in your ecosystem upcoming that you want to share
that you'd be excited to talk about at Token.
Feel free to give us anything you guys got here.
We got another five minutes before we wrap on up.
I think while I give you guys a chance to think about that and you can throw some hands up
if you want to share anything else, I'll also just share a little bit more from the Ancient8 side,
kind of our focus while we're out there.
We're going to be heavily looking to chat with game builders.
Obviously, Ancient8 has a Layer 2 chain, so we're definitely looking for games that are
interested in either building fully on-chain or maybe even just interested in building a mini-app
or a piece of their game on-chain on the Ethereum side of things.
That's something that we can definitely support with within the Ancient8 ecosystem.
I'm also going to be going out there as Ancient8 Gaming, so we're also looking for games that
we can participate with on the content side, if we can support from content, game nights,
tournaments, playtests, all that kind of cool stuff.
Excited to have chats about all of that.
So yeah, that's kind of what we will be focused on from the Ancient8 side of things.
And then, of course, Space 3 is ideally looking for games that they can help support
with user acquisition campaigns, and that's what they specialize in.
So we'll also be supporting Space 3 through that venture as well.
Phil, what do you got for us, man?
Sorry, I was accidentally throwing you emojis and fat-fingered it to the hand.
So yeah, I do apologize.
But if you're in Chinatown, definitely hit me up.
I'll 100% go and share some noodle duck feet with anyone who wants to go and do it.
And secondly, just on the OBDOT live platform, we are token agnostic on the payment side,
so we're looking to support all Web3 games across the board.
So it doesn't matter what network you're on, you can stream it, and we can enjoy it,
and we can entertain everyone.
So yeah, looking forward to Connect and safe travels above all.
But I'll send you a message, Justin.
Looking forward to touching base.
Absolutely, Phil.
Sounds good, man.
And yeah, if you guys are integrating token payments, Ancient8, we also have a token live as well.
So I would love to explore that.
I think an interesting combo to have as well there.
Anybody else?
Any last alphas to drop before we wrap things up here?
I'll give a second here for hands to go up.
All right.
Looks like we're good to go then.
Gentlemen, thank you so much for joining us again here on this week's Gaming on the Edge.
I think this is going to be the first time we finish before the hour, just three minutes ahead.
Usually we're going 10, 15, 20 minutes over.
So proud of us here.
No, Ronald, you're not allowed to talk.
I know you're going to try to send us over the 9 o'clock mark.
I know what you're doing right now.
Go ahead, Ronald.
What do you got for us?
Nah, I was just going to say, like, I'm not going to take three minutes,
but I can't just drop the link to our side events.
Feel free to sign up, guys.
I'm hoping to meet all of you, IRL.
Absolutely, brother.
Please do drop that in the Gaming on the Edge telegram as well.
And like I said, guys, be on the lookout for the message coming in from Leo,
inviting you guys into the Gaming on the Edge channel,
where we will share links to all the side events and cool stuff going on at Token.
I'm sure there's going to be a lot of photos shared in there during Token,
so it's going to be fun stuff.
Can't wait for it.
Looking forward to it.
With that being said, guys,
Oh, Feezy, you got something for us, brother?
Yeah, man.
So this is totally unrelated to Token2049,
but I just want to put it out there.
There are plans to, like, hosting, like,
one of the first Web3 Gaming conference down here in Africa,
down here in Nigeria.
I don't want to say much,
but it's going to be happening, like, let's say, before December.
So, yeah, it's going to be very, very big.
Plans are in preparation.
Like I said, I don't really want to say much,
but please just stay tuned.
The first Web3 Gaming conference in Africa.
We're hoping to, like, pull that off this year before the end of 2024.
That is super bullish.
Yeah, man.
Looking forward to seeing more details on that soon.
So thank you for breaking that news for us there, Feezy.
All right, gentlemen, with that being said,
we're going to wrap it up.
We hope to see you guys back on Gaming on the Edge.
We will be skipping Gaming on the Edge next week,
as we will be at Token 2049,
but we will be back live the following week
and look forward to having some of you guys back.
So with that said, have an amazing day,
an amazing evening, wherever you're tuning in from,
and we'll catch you guys all on the next one.
Take care, guys.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
Welcome to the Edge.
We'll be right back.
