Thank you. Thank you. We're going to go ahead and get started shortly.
In the meantime, go ahead and request to come on stage and speak.
Would love to hear more about everyone's projects, even if you've already shilled before. Thank you. I would love for one or two more people to come up and also don't forget to share this
space with your followers. Nice, nice. I say let's go ahead and get started. My name is Day. I'm the Grants Program Coordinator
at Gitcoin and also your host for these chill and chill spaces. Let's go ahead and start with you, Maria.
directly from SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil, 22 centigrade.
Bit of cloudy here today. You know it's's gonna rain rain is good rains good. Thank you
Everyone for being in this space. I have a project that I would like to chill is called the D-Sci journals
It is a journal as a service platform
Where people can submit their papers, create their own journals.
We have 100% copyright for those who publish with us, papers as NFTs,
and the creation of scientific assets in the meantime. This comes to break a traditional scientific publication
that expropriates copyrights for all knowledge authors. I would love to have your contribution.
I'm going to pin here my links. We are on DAPS and apps and also on the community round of this side, where I'm also an operator.
Thank you very much for the space.
I would love to hear about your projects as well.
Thank you so much, Maria.
Daniel, let's go ahead and hear from you.
Yeah, hey everybody. Daniel from Human Passport, formerly Gitcoin Passport.
We are your resident civil defense and civil classification experts here and are lucky enough to be helping to protect GG23 again and also participate as a grantee.
This is our second time participating as a grantee.
We're really looking to help expand some of our product line using some of the funds that we might earn through this program.
So right now what we offer is a suite of civil defense products and services.
We have a variety of different tools that enable real-time verification. I kind of talked about those on a space last week, on a show space last
week. So this week, I'm going to talk about data services. One of the things that we can provide
is data services for folks that have maybe a list of addresses, and you just want to better understand whether the individual that controls that address is a Sybil or a human.
Not only can we run that through eight different machine learning models to classify whether that account is Sybil or not. We can also run Sybil clustering
using a couple of different analysis types
and do custom analysis for our partners.
we protected seven different airdrops with our data services,
including the very successful story protocol airdrop,
which we were super excited to be a part of.
We're very much looking forward to the continuation of Airdrop season.
Hopefully the market conditions do not change that too much over the next few months.
But we can step in and really help these teams better understand their user base, make better
decisions around their criteria that they're using for token allocations,
and really just make sure that everyone's prioritizing humans in their rewards programs as opposed to
Sybil's and other bad actors, just like Gitcoin's doing with GG23.
That is it for me. You can find our project at Human Passport in the Dev Tooling Round.
Thank you very much for the time.
I have both of you guys' grants pinned on the top page.
And for everyone listening, if you're a part of GG23, do not hesitate.
Let's learn more about your project.
This space is dedicated for you to spotlight you and your project and kind of get some more eyes on your grant
so go ahead and hit that request to speak button oh here we go here we go
So let's see how well we can go.
But yes, actually it's an exciting time because ReFi Cecilia is part of the region coordination round.
We're also part of the ReFi Mediterranean round, which is the first bioregional scale QF round.
And then we've also been fortunate enough to be included in the latest Octant Epic 7 round,
which is the first theme round focusing on climate solutions. So we're very busy. It's also springtime, which means that
it's tree planting time. And so we have a demonstration site, a two-hectare
demonstration site here outside of Palermo where we are running an
experiment with centropic agroforestry. and this is a new type of regenerative agriculture
developed in brazil and we are implementing it and adapting it to our mediterranean climate
and so there are a network of projects around the island that are in some way, shape or form doing permaculture, centropic agroforestry.
And so while we have a main demonstration site, our goal as ReFi Sicilia, as a bioregional
organization is to create the infrastructure for those projects to coordinate and to share
resources together. And so this is a
great use case for how we can use blockchain technology, cryptocurrency to
develop our own ecologically backed economy. And so we work with partners
like Sylvie App to log our trees and then we get paid out with cryptocurrency.
Also have a partnership with grassroots economics.
So we have our own mutual credit commitment pool.
And so that allows anybody to basically make their own gift cards,
put them into a pool and then share them with others,
reducing our need for government fiat currency,
which sometimes isn't flowing through the economy and so it
allows us to value what we value and that's you know one of the the big value
propositions for blockchain is the ability to design and program money and
so yeah we are focused mainly on agroforestry and how that relates to repairing the water cycle, because what is driving the community here is the fires, wildfires, drought, desertification.
These are all the climate factors that are driving the society here to to seek answers, asking, like, what can we do? How do we adapt?
Because unfortunately, both the government
and the current economic model
is what's really driving this degradation.
And so we have to find new forms of organizing.
So ReFi Sicilia is a bioregional association.
We are actively developing our own blockchain solutions
You can go to adopt.refi Sicilia.com
and there you can adopt a physical tree
and with any ERC20 token on the Arbitrum network
and receive a unique NFT, NF tree.
And so, yeah, we have a lot of tools that we can use
and it's just a matter of showing the results.
And so with this two hectare demonstration site,
we're able to demonstrate the full stack refi
regenerative finance toolkit.
So yeah, really happy to be a part of this round
and so many great projects.
I also want to recommend everybody go to their
Karma Gap page and you can both update your profile with any activities or updates and that
gives donors a better understanding of your projects and it's basically an on-chain reputation
that is basically your resume.
And so the better your profile is,
the more potential you have for earning both grants
as well as any funding opportunity.
And so highly recommend that.
And yeah, just wanna just shout out
to all of the projects in the round
as well as the Let's grow dow for hosting
the 24 7 live live stream which is always fun thank you thank you i really love nf tree like
that's my new favorite that's my new favorite thing i'm definitely going to take a look at that
um and also yes shout out to let's grow dow they've been doing an incredible job
green pill network would love to hear from you next.
Thanks for setting us up.
Love another high energy GG round.
So I guess I'm going to show a million things, but that's okay.
things but that's okay so yeah double double tapping on the regen coordination round so that's
So yeah, double tapping on the Regent Coordination round.
uh yeah greenfield network refi dow sell public goods then the partner organizations we got
biofi my earth bloom network agroforest dow and then brought on nine additional partner projects
and then we have our own little partnership that we kind of worked out
to try and, you know, get even more region coordination happening with Coconut Network,
Region Atlas, Atlantis, Sylvie, which Reefi Cecilia was mentioning earlier, Carbon Copy,
Borderless Dev, which that crew is also running the Web3 for Universities round. So get there
and then Regions Un there and then regions unite and
community for sustainability and ethereum localism and yeah so a whole lot's going on this is really
the second big regen coordination gg round and yeah so it's it's really coming together i think
the one thing that i always have to mention is working on this local refi playbook.
And I think that that's really going to help all our different region communities kind of export and import all that good shared knowledge
and a pretty aggregated, you know, readable type list.
So yeah, please spread it around there.
And any region coordination support would be awesome.
And yeah, even double tapping on the dsai community rounds maria and sw and our friends swift evo my pick
one of my favorite dynamic duos in the space uh green pill is partially supporting that matching
pool and yeah i think i think that that's also a great round and yeah, I guess, yeah, I don't even
need to show any individual projects.
Thank you for shilling it forward.
And also thanks for sharing more about your project.
Green Planet Conservation Initiative.
Would love to hear from you.
Maybe they're away from their microphone. Let's go ahead and go to Ethereum Cat Herders,
and then I'll come back. Hi there GMGM folks, I'm Vaylin from EthereumCAD Herders.
And for those who don't know, EthereumCAD Herders are the coordination layer between
consensus and execution clients, core Ethereum protocol developers, researchers, and open
source contributors. We help ensure the growth of
the open source community by allowing anyone who wants to improve the Ethereum mainnet
to do so with minimum barriers. So what does this mean? So imagine if you are a core protocol
developer and you're just lost in, you know, the amount of activity that happens every week. What meetings are relevant to you?
What calls are relevant to you?
What kind of EIPs are relevant to you?
Well, you don't have to worry because EthereumCAD herders,
we manage the Ethereum protocol calls calendar
and we have all sorts of calls on their calendar
look at and join those that are relevant to them and if you are someone who wants to improve the
ethereum mainnet you look no further than our github repo and it lets eip writers to seek help from EIP editors. We have EIP editing hours every fortnight, and we also give help to ERC writers every month.
And so far, since 2019, we have hosted 114 EIP improvement process meetings and 56 EIP editing hours.
And we have also hosted EIP Editors Workshop.
And fun fact, we have introduced PEEP and EEP,
which is a podcast episode that focuses on EIP and ERC
proposals so that the community who are new to the core protocol
development layer can actually learn more about what this EIP does.
For example, with the Petra upgrade coming on the 7th of May, we actually have a playlist on all of
the proposals that are relevant to that upgrade delivered by those EIP authors themselves,
including Vitalik. So do check out our YouTube channel or Spotify
to listen to any one of them
for all of these meetings
and meeting notes so if you're
interested do check that out
chill and chill I want to thank
Network for helping Ethereum
cat herders with All Around. Thank you. Sorry everyone, I got rubbed. Can everyone hear me?
Perfect. Go ahead, Green Planet Conservation Initiative. We'd love to hear from you.
Yeah, yeah. My name is Edward, and I'm the person behind the Green Planet Conservation Initiative handle.
Green Planet Conservation Initiative is actually a non-governmental organization
that is championing environmental conservation, sustainable practices, and climate education.
We're actually trying to restore the degraded ecosystem through our agroforestry,
reforestation, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, protection, and education.
So, and our strong focus is actually on, in grassroots communities and schools. So,
what we are trying to do is, we are trying to solve a problem that will actually meet on ground here uh because we have a high
level of deforestation uh uh in northern nigeria i'm actually we're actually based in northern
nigeria so we have a high level of deforestation that is actually taking place and we are trying
to see how we can uh stop that uh level of deforestation. And one of the ways that we're actually doing that is by providing climate education so
that people will get to understand the actions, what the actions could actually cost to the
And not only doing that, we're also going forward to see how we can plant trees in those
communities and the schools around so basically that's all we are doing at the
moment and we've also we're also training farmers on regenerative
agriculture because there's a certain farming practice that is actually taking
place where we are where people are, where people get to
bond the farmland, the land in preparation to the farmland, is actually a good thing.
That deteriorates the health of the soil. So that is one of the things that we actually need to
discourage that, to actually ensure that we we have adequate food security from our side.
So basically that's a summary of what we do.
GM-GM. Amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. Sorry, I'm having some terrible wi-fi issues.
D Dev Kit would love to hear from you next.
GMGM, great to be on the stage again. And yeah, I guess it's two days countdown to the end of GG23.
So I hope everyone is doing great in the fundraising. Yeah, so we are quite happy because
Yeah, so we are quite happy because up to now we are the top three funded project on the OSS Dev2 track.
So we are super happy to share the great news and hope we can gain more momentum and spread the news within this crowd.
About our project, we are a dev kit focusing on allowing new developers as well as AI agents
And we are designing different React components in ShadCN style.
And we publicized this open source project through our previous work so that everyone
can benefit from using the toolkit.
And in the chat, actually, I shared a demo of our latest from the team.
So basically, in the demo, what we try to do is we use cursor and we instruct cursor to add the app components into the build.
And basically we can build a straightforward web-free component within 30 seconds
by instructing the AI to do it.
So we hope that that's something we can build on and build more toolkit components and improve the adoption through
AI as well as through the developer crowd within the Ethereum community.
So yeah, I guess that's all from us.
I'm going to go ahead and pin your grant to the Jumbotron.
Wajiti would love to hear from you.
Hi there. to go ahead and pin your grant to the Jumbotron. Wajiti would love to hear from you.
Hi there, yeah, I'm one of the core contributors from OrbitDB.
OrbitDB is peer-to-peer serverless,
decentralized database system, open source,
built on top of LibP2P and IPFS.
OrbitDB is not a vague project with some coin attached. It's the plumbing of the
next generation of decentralized applications and blockchain technology. What I'll do is I will
post a link to an example of OrbitDB running. It's a messaging system, purely P2P, fully decentralized,
no middleman, no server client architecture.
Data is owned by the users.
The data is controlled by the users
and the system is completely censorship resistant.
It can't be attacked by DDoS attacks.
There's no sign in, there's no sign up, there's no handing over data to third parties. It's
purely peer to peer between two users and it's completely encrypted through shared technology,
which means that you don't need to generate keys it does it for you
and it negotiates the keys between the two users so users are communicating
via OrbitDB purely between the two computers and the two users or you
interchanging information and communicating with one another um and uh you know this is the
next generation of um decentralized applications this this uh orbit db is developing the uh the
database protocol uh sync protocol of the next generation of applications. We need to move away from this client server architecture,
which is just being hacked.
It's being pillaged of information.
It's people log into websites
and they're just giving up huge amounts of information
to corporations to just pillage their information
and sell it to the highest bidder.
And OrbitDB will drive users away from these nefarious systems
and will be able to protect their own data.
They'll be able to make it private.
It will be fully encrypted, untouchable,
and completely censorship resistant.
The applications that will be driving or the applications
developed that will be driving all of this will be not, you won't be able to attack them.
They'll be completely peer-to-peer and you won't be subjected to endless hack attempts.
That's OrbitDB, the peer-to-peer database system
amazing thank you so much i see we have jimmy on stage jimmy jimmy let's grow would love to hear
from you let's grow day thank you so much all right i'm gonna be shilling it forward to refi
tulum they're in the regen coordination round uh the Reefi Impact. Okay, so they operate at
the intersection of cosmolocalism, where global knowledge meets local action. They're adapting
open source regenerative models to meet the cultural, ecological and economic needs of the
region. Their goals are in four different pillars. So one is they're growing the sponsorships for regenerative tourism synergies. So they've got these local businesses, they're doing cleanups
locally, and they have this regenerative fleet. So it's like sustainable vehicles. They're deepening
art, cultural, and onboarding through collaborations. They have various different collaborations in
Tulum. Their community growth and capacity building is growing, onboarding a bunch of NGOs,
grassroots organizations, and then the public events, toolkits, and open source resources,
another thing they're working on. One thing that I really love that Refight Tulum is doing
is they have this machine that can turn the plastics that they clean off the beach back
into petrol, which can be used in vehicles, which is kind of a game changer. So
hopefully that'll lead to less kind of drilling for oil and petrol, which has, of course, all the
oil spills and things like that. If you can turn the plastics back into a usable material, I think
that's pretty awesome. And they're pioneering it. So don't skip on refi to loom. Let's grow. Back to
you. Hey, really love that. That's awesome.
Thank you so much for sharing and for shilling it forward.
Let's go ahead and hear from loonco.e.
That's Rod Mommin, founder of Loomco, behind the PFP.
I'm a space systems engineer,
and at Loomco, we are building the metaverse to design
space missions. LUNCO stands for Lunar Company and our goal is to allow everyone in the world to
contribute to the space exploration and actually benefit from it so we are moving towards a
protocol designing a protocol for space missions design on chain with the so
called NFT blueprints. NFT blueprint is a special form of IP NFT tuned to work
with hardware so for example every hardware like particularly a robot they
built off tons of subsystems tons of PCBs sorry can you hear me hear someone else talking. So with NFT blueprints, we are creating a chain of NFTs
that allows to distribute value across the whole chain. On top of that, we are using
Godot to build a 3D world. And that's the way how people can collaborate together thank you so
much for your attention and back to you guys amazing I'm gonna pin a link to
your grant on the Jumbotron here shortly until then can we hear from OKK
Chidi would love to hear from you about your project.
Thank you for giving me the permission to speak.
Ok, I'm Okke Chidi. I'm the co-founder of Hepatioire Foundation.
Hepatioire is the initiative founded in 2016 to to eradicate the challenges underprivileged
including the community we are having.
Since we started, we have touched a lot of poor life,
for planetary communities, schools that have no trees,
proven access to clean waters in the underserved communities.
We also build schools, establish schools and other initiatives.
This run the long...our goal is to raise funds through climate change and also we also have
a platform we develop web trade impact project to import other local charity who don't know about
web trade because we have so achieved so much usingTrade since we started using Crito. So we want to import more charity into the WebTrade, that's why we developed the platform.
We have a grant on DAP app and also Hapacet Nature.
So please, we just are planning for you to support our initiative.
No amount it too small to make a water,
provide clean water in a community that did not have it.
Also to import more charity on it.
I went ahead and penned your grant on the Jumbotron.
Let's go ahead and hear from AlphaBlock Tech.
All right, Jim, everyone, can you hear me loud and clear
all right thank you very much for this opportunity i am something richard the community lead for alpha blocks all right so yeah moving on a brief intro on what alpha blocks is
all about our link is already on the jumbotron but I'll have to re-represize on that again.
What we do, basically, we act as a bridge between Web2 individuals and Web3 individuals.
We are focused on educating people and onboarding people.
Whoever that decides to be a developer today or whoever is a developer, a Web3 developer,
a Web3 engineer engineer what's our view
definitely pass through education so that is where we come in as a community we are focused on what's
educating these individuals educating interest on what the basics of web 3 the basics of blockchain
technology and the basis of cryptocurrency showing them the niche is available for them to focus on if you just go into um regenerative
finance like what have you mean coin trading and um or whatnot you definitely need to do
what understand the basics of currency basics of what blocking technology before diving into the
higher parts so once again that's where we come in as a community, as an educating community.
So I'm using this opportunity as well to, okay, as an educating community, how we also
onboard persons is through our cohorts, which we do host every quarter of the year.
We rounded up the ninth cohort since the inception of our community last month, our ninth cohorts.
And in view, we have the 10th cohorts alpha blocks cohort 10 coming up any
moment from now in this q2 so doing all those drawing the cohorts definitely requires some
resources getting the courses and as well preparing the nft certificates which normally
gives our participants we are lucky or we are lucky to get on board into the web3 university grants being hosted by
borderless and i'm using or we are using this opportunity to seek for your support or to seek
everyone's support here on the call and those are listening to the recordings to seek for the support
okay to support our initiative and the future plans which include the future cohorts that we will be hosting in Q2 and as well we hope to have
our first end real life meetup and we are planning big on that and any support that we get from these
grants or from the GG23 will definitely go a long way in supporting the course of our mission
at Secure Policy. Thank you very much. Thank you, thank you. I would love to hear from Adina.
Good morning from California.
I'm the founder of A-Earth.
And in the past years, I've built a decentralized science community of Earth scientists.
So that was scientists working on Earth observation at NASA JPL and then connected at this point 13 large
organizations working on coastal observation. That means, you know, water samples, but also
starting to integrate soil samples to really have more holistic models of our ecosystems.
And why is that important? It's important because right now most investment is going into projects
that are maybe have the best marketing, but not the ones that are the best for the environment to restore, to regenerate.
So we're basically with a data set that we're creating that's completely distributed and decentralized.
People can actually start running predictions, test solutions, and actually drive fundings into local solutions.
You know, maybe the best solution is from locals, from indigenous nature-based
solutions. So by creating that data set, making it immutable, transparent, yeah, we're basically
opening this up to the world. So that's A-Earth. We're in the DSI round as well as in the DApps
and apps this time around. Thank you. Amazing. Thank you. I'm definitely going to be looking into that.
Thanks everyone. Yes. Let me add KOH. Hi KOH, we would love to hear from you about your grant.
Okay, Ruth, let me invite you to speak again because now you're a listener, but I know
that you are on stage waiting for a few minutes.
Hello, KOH, are you near your phone?
Would love to hear more about your project.
Would love to hear more about your project.
Okay, well, here is a commercial break.
The PO app is ready, you guys.
I went ahead and pinned the secret word on the Jumbotron.
So go ahead and claim that POAP right now. Just to like have that memory
that you were a part of the space, you chilled and chilled with me, and you stuck around
to support some of the other grantees and projects that are a part of GG23. Would love
to see everyone in this space get one. So I went ahead and brought up Researcher Zero.
Would love to hear from you.
Hey, Day, thank you for having me.
I am the co-founder of Canvassing.
Canvassing is a platform that rewards participants who participate in surveys and tasks in tokens, both stable
and non-stable tokens. And our biggest mission is to improve the experience that current
survey participants are having in normal surveys. People are having to take too long before
they get their payout there are so many with
joe Thank you. I think I got rugged.
Thank you so much for sharing, Researcher Zero.
I'm sorry, I wasn't able to hear the last maybe 15 seconds, but going to go ahead and
pin your grant to the Jumbotron as well.
Ruth David, we have you on stage again.
Go ahead and share some information about your project.
Hi, GM Day, GM Jimmy. If you can hear me, please leave a reaction.
All right. Thank you so much. My name is Ruth David and I'm one of the projects
in the Web3 for University Community Round by Borderless Dev.
And the name of my project is Hello with David.
So Hello with David is passionate about Web3 education and onboarding.
Now, using my skills in content creation to help beginners navigate in the Web3 ecosystem.
Now, the journey to Web3 can be very overwhelming for newcomers
due to complex concepts, lack of beginner-friendly resources,
and difficulty finding the right opportunity.
Now, my project is dedicated to simplifying Web3
for beginners by creating engaging interactive spaces
and creating practical guides.
I work closely with Carla God, the social media lead at Borderless,
and through my work and personal initiative,
I have successfully onboarded individuals into Web3,
helping them to navigate opportunities,
understand blockchain fundamentals and
connect with the rights community. So my project aims to scale these efforts
that you know have already started making ensuring that more people, especially
those from underrepresented African regions can access the knowledge and
tools they need to thrive. So I'm seeking for your gronation,
Tellery David project in the Web 3,
4 university community round.
I went ahead and sent some speaker requests to some familiar project profiles
that have came on stage and shilled before.
If you have not shilled already, I would love to have you on stage to shill with me
or to shill your project.
So feel free, request to speak.
And this will be a great opportunity for you to get more eyes and ears on your project.
Also, if you have not already, the POAP secret word is in the Jumbotron, so you will have to
scroll through a few projects to get to it, but the secret word is GG23 chill, like the last word
of this space, chill. And you could just go ahead and copy and
paste it without the quotation marks of course into your poap app um if you need some help with
it i know some people have been having some issues you need the app you can't claim it on your laptop
uh just just want to let everyone know you need the pop app specifically. I'm not seeing any more speaker requests.
If you have already shilled and you want to shill again,
I'm opening up the floor to you.
Go on once. Go on twice. Okay.
I just want to let us know that Borderless is in the region coordination round. So please, as you're
donating to Hello with David
in the Web3 for University, remember
in the region coordination
to pin that on the Jumbotron
do well to grenade to us. Thank you
Also love a little shill it forward right there.
So yes, if there's nobody else that wants to come up on stage to shill for the first time or to shill again,
then I will go ahead and end the space.
I really appreciated everyone spending time with me.
And I always love hearing about your projects.
It really makes me so happy.
So remember, GG23 ends in two days.
There's only two days left to start or to keep momentum around your project, to let your community know.
And, yeah, we're going to be sending out some more emails.
How are there only two days left?
Well, I'm glad I caught the tail end of this shill and chill here.
And I want to drop in and give everybody good luck and how you doing.
And shill it forward for my partner's project, if that would be okay to do.
So PrivID, I will share the doodly-doot
in the comment thread there.
But PrivID is this project that is a privacy-preserving
proof of identity protocol using holonyms tools,
which is zero-knowledge proof, protected,
potentially KYC functional.
So it gives you the ability to prove who you are without some company,
some data broker, some surveillance capitalism incentive,
like keeping all your data in a big honeypot.
And what PrivID is doing is basically just connecting Holonym's tools to BlueSky,
the decentralized identity protocol, both open source projects, Holonym and tools to Blue Sky, the decentralized identity protocol,
both open source projects, Holonym and Blue Sky.
And that's the beautiful thing about open source stuff,
you can just jump in and build cool things.
So my partner who has been on the sidelines
of Web3 for many years has finally taken the leap
into project managing something in Web3.
This is a shared passion of ours
is this whole world of like decentralized social media
and privacy preserving tech.
So yeah, it's a neat thing.
We've got some devs, you know, put together a proposal
and here we are in the Gitcoin round.
So yeah, if you're interested in supporting this project,
you think privacy and security is important,
decentralized identity protocols and open source, you think privacy and security is important, decentralized identity
protocols and open source tech to preserve that kind of thing is important, give it a look. You
can find PrivID app on the Twitter sphere and I'll share the links in the thing so you can go find it
and show it some love. And that is my Shilet Forward.
And that is my shielded forward.
I think that was wonderful.
And yes, if everyone wants to go ahead and just give one minute, two minutes to just scroll through the Jumbotron and just take a look at all of the amazing projects that have shilled today, that would be wonderful.
And also, don't forget to claim the POAP.
Secret Word is on the Jumbotron, so you do have to scroll through some of the projects
Let me bring you on stage.
Would love to hear about your GG23 project.
Jim Jim everyone. I'm Sol and I'm in the Web3 for University Community Round by Borderless.
The round is actually funding people for their impact in Web3.
Personally, I have been working with different communities, getting to share my knowledge in Web3.
So I've educated some persons and I also get to sponsor the events that I can't be there.
Because for one, I could be a speaker at some events to tell people more
about Web3. So what I do is do much more about Web3 adoption. I'm just going to share my
project to the Jumbo channel. So basically what I do is I teach people, I work with communities, individual.
I get to do individual teaching.
That's to say, I tell people more if they want to learn more about Web3.
And I also get to speak on different sections for onboarding.
So for one of those things that make me
have great interest in Web3 is when I have to be started out,
I just wanted to trade crypto and go apart my recent phone
So I got hacked like twice.
So I decided to just understand
what the blockchain technology is.
And I know I've got hacked, so I needed to just stay in this system and get other people
enlightened and educate others so they do not become victims like I was.
And for that, I've been working with different communities, getting to share my ideas, getting
to just learn and educate other people and for for three years now i would
say because i've been using this 2022 i've done this in different communities i've also got to
events where i speak i also get to sponsor some contest and, events that are about three onboarding, like, um, but I just
did an event last year, I had to sponsor it.
And, uh, there's this particular university in the rounds to UBL.
So, um, I'm basically all upon education and getting to see that.
But I let's just running this round just for people who have contributed
I applied and I'm in the Web3 for University Community Round also because I get a connection
from some of us here just like I'm going to go into some projects.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Yes, let's get those grow nations going.
Keep growing, keep donating.
We got two days to keep our community activated.
Keep it high. So happy that all of you guys joined today.
For our last speaker, we have Kraiz Owos.
Would love to hear more from you.
GM, GM everybody, how's it going?
Okay, my name is craze and i am a web3 tutor with three educator and i am a content creator
uh my project what is my project my uh i have been on this space for a while for a couple of
years thanks to borderless and i use my skills to basically educate and onboard people onto the Web3 ecosystem.
I am a writer and what I do is I pick out different ecosystems,
different projects, or different complex Web3 concepts,
and I use my writing skills to break them down. I also create videos to explain, you know, what different projects are building and how
people could utilize these projects, how people could utilize these opportunities.
And recently this year, January, I started an onboarding tour because I believe I'm a strong believer on strong advocate for
students because I believe they have an untapped potential they have raw potential so I started a
tour year I go into different universities I've been to three universities already
I go into the universities and I create and I play cool games yeah I get to ask people
different questions and they get it correctly. I give them a prize,
of course, as a token. And by giving them a token, I onboard them into the Web3 ecosystem.
And I created a community to house these people who have onboarded into the Web3 ecosystem.
I house them, I hold classes, I have teachers already in the community who teach these students what the Web3 ecosystem is about, what the blockchain is about.
I mean, everything for free.
I teach them what the Web3 ecosystem is about.
And I also have sessions with them where I get to know what they are good at, their skills, their respective level of creativity, and how they can contribute to the ecosystem for those who are skillless in the ecosystem I basically teach them
for those who want to be writers I teach them how to write how to express
themselves through words how to break down complex concepts for those who are
content creators I should show them I teach them how to make cool videos, how
to do research, to do research on different projects and different ecosystems to find
out what they're all about. And I'd show them how they too could get started as content
creators. For those who want to be devs, I have someone in the community already who
comes in and say, okay, those who want to be devs, this is in the community already who comes in and say okay those are
on a bit this is what they can do and that's not all i'm not the kind of person who just
shields them from the outside what i try to plug them to the right opportunities opportunities for
them to learn opportunities for them to grow opportunities for them to connect with other
people other communities who could help them with fast track and shorten their learning curve
so by doing all of this i've been able to bring more people on chain. I've been able to
you know, get the fenced off the fence and into the Web3 ecosystem. And I've been able to
move people from students from where they are to the point where they too can make an impact on
the Web3 ecosystem, where they too could start earning just by being on chain.
My name is Braze, I'm a content creator, an educator, an onboarder, and I've been doing this for a while, all for free.
So donate to me, help me reach even more people, help me touch even more lives,
help me break down even more complex concepts and it's worth it it's been worth it so far
seeing the testimonial seeing people you know make progress seeing people you know break grounds do
things they haven't done before it's been amazing that is where the fulfillment comes from thank you
so much the opportunity to speak here my link has been shared to the jumbotron to the jumbotron
