Thank you. We'll get started in a few minutes here.
Please repost the space.
And I saw Solzaki, but we'll try to bring him up. But please repost the space. We'll get started in a few minutes here. Please repost the space. And I saw Solzaki, but we'll try to bring him up.
But please repost the space.
We'll get started here shortly.
We'll be getting started here shortly, waiting for everybody to come in. Thank you for coming.
If you could repost the space.
We want to make sure that we get as many people in here that we can to learn about liquidity
bonds and liquidity positions.
So please repost the space and we'll get started here shortly. We hope everyone's been doing well. It's been about a month, probably since we've seen each
other. Definitely, it's been a month.
I wanted to say welcome back, and we'll see what the energy team has been up to.
And it could have been up a little late last night, but we are waiting for them and everyone to come in to share what's been going on.
I think I'm getting some messages in the background. I want to make sure someone's switching their internet.
It's okay.
So as people are coming in, yeah, it's been a month.
I don't know how everyone is doing.
I will send out a mic just to come up and buy some time too.
As the team is showing up, getting ready to show up, We give grace because it does take some time to get in. And I will say this, X has had an update. So if you have not updated your X, please update
your X. I did notice I had an update this morning. I try to do that every now and then
before spaces because it always seems like there could be potential problems if you don't update
your ex. So waiting for the team to come in and if you have an update, please update because if not,
you can kind of get kicked out of the space and that is no fun. But we'll get started here shortly.
Still waiting for people to come in and talk about the updates and the recent space that Tommy had with Grateful Ape.
Listen back to that. It was a great space. If Grateful Ape ever listens back to this, he is an excellent host.
And they talked about the liquidity bond. So listen back to that. And I will try to find that.
Listen back to that. And I will try to find that. I don't think I can still post it up into the Nest because I'm still having some education on how to use that if you can.
So just still waiting on people to come in and come up.
And I did throw out some mics if people want to come up and kind of, you know, talk a little bit.
And then we can go ahead and, you know, just talk a little bit about what your day has been like, how it's been over the past month for you. We understand people out here every day and definitely listening to what's going on and getting, giving market news. Tommy
will be able to do that as well and provide you with what's going on in the energy ecosystem. We
did talk about it a little bit and we will wait for more people to come in. But yeah,
definitely through some microphones out and we'll get started again shortly. So,
good morning. How are you? Thank you for coming up and leaving me hanging by myself. How are you
doing this morning, Calvin? Doing well. Doing well. I appreciate your love. Everything is fine, technically.
Happy Easter for everyone and for those also in the background, the year may be just beginning.
this whole thing of security as far as energy goes and the gmi collaborations with not only
the lp bonds but the security that is involved i wanted to have um a conversation with tommy
mark or maybe even you gabby before we go into what does energy bring as a product individually, I just wanted to touch base on the topic of not even just security, time frame, we're seeing an extreme influx.
I'm saying this dramatically for a reason. We see scams happen. We see exploiters exploit.
But they're on double overtime. This is like, I want to say Q4 of 2025.
One of the biggest DeFi hacks was Babbit.
And they seem to recover pretty quickly, even if not fully reimbursed.
They seem to have swept that news under the rug and kept business afloat and keep things pushing.
But then we see just mismanagement
through protocols, rather if you look at Aave or even Chainlink Oracles, and we even looked
at the new sector of RWAs as of recent being exploited on the Solana network with Drift Protocol. Even when you go back to other exploits from the past or recent past,
or even just the other day,
I'm interested to know the opinions of others.
How do they perceive crypto with these, again, this vast influx of exploits. Like it's kind of scary. It would scare
people away. But when we do have people like the team here and we have protocols like energy
and GMI that focus on like solving these problems of the exploits. I'm just curious, are we aware of the things?
Do we know what happened?
How do we solve it?
And just want to piggyback off of you,
just being in the technical realm
and having to be one that had to implement security, man, there's this fine line between
having the right security and then making sure it's not, you know, preventing business
from operating the way that it needs to operate. So it's a fine line and a balance between the
right amount of security and the right amount of access. But at the same time, you know, after Shibarium hack, I am way more open.
My eyes are open to all of the other hacks that have happened after Shibarium.
And it just lets me know, like, these hackers, a lot of the times,
they're not trying to get or siphon right away.
Just like he mentioned Drift.
That was a six-month operation.
They actually met up with these people physically in different countries multiple times.
They got to a point where they had partial operations within their environment.
Like they put a million dollars of their own money.
This is how far hackers are willing to go now.
Like they're not all about the quick books,
quick bucks.
They're willing to,
to wait a year or more,
just like Shibarium hack.
That wasn't a simple hack that took some time to put that together and
And thank you for that, Rugrat, you know, because there was, there's lots of hacks out here.
And before we get started, he's going to play some, he's going to play some music for us
and we'll get back into this. But we do want to talk about that. You know what? Hold that thought. We'll
talk about the exploits and hopefully Tommy will be in here. But let us play some music
and bring some more people in here because I think you asked a great question. You and
Kal Shib asked great questions. That needs to be answered. But let's play some music
and get some more people in here. So, Zachy, are you up here with us? We'll have you play
some music for us yeah thank you um i'm ready and up already let me play Субтитры создавал DimaTorzok Thank you. so Thank you. so
Oh, baby, I feel right, the music still is better with you.
It's all the lights, bring the bus together, I can't see you.
I feel right, the music still is standing with you.
I'm feeling right, the music still is standing with you.
I'm feeling right, the music still is standing with you.
I'm feeling right, the music still is standing with you. you
you Hello guys! Thank you. Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok Thank you so much, Silzaki.
If you could, everybody, please repost the space. Get more people in here. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon, wherever you are.
I know before we get into questions, I know we'd like to ask everybody how they're doing because there was a great question that was asked earlier.
And we'll refresh that conversation and that question again. But just want to check on people and see how they're doing.
It's been a month since we've met.
And as everyone is still coming in, want to make sure that we update you from the last space.
Stands for. stands for and so before we do that i want to kind of just reset the room start over again
um and uh still say hi to and good morning and soul dacni we're so glad you're able to be here and provide the music for us how are you doing today um yeah hello uh gaby it's been a while um
um yeah hello uh gabby it's been a while um since we uh we sit together talk here um about everything
so i'm doing good i'm doing good i hope you guys are all doing fine yes we're doing well i'm glad
you are too i'm here to play music and i'll be with us today uh going over to uh martin hi martin how
are you nice to meet you glad you're here yeah gabby nice to meet you and nice to meet everyone
here good afternoon good morning good evening wherever you are joining me from. And it's been nice to catch up with everyone. Yeah, and happy Easter as well.
Yeah, it's happy Easter to those who are celebrating.
Happy Easter.
Happy Resurrection Day.
Whatever you celebrate.
Rugrat, again, how are you doing?
Doing good as well.
Happy Easter to everyone.
Hopefully, hoping you and your family doing well
thank you regret and back to you kashiv how are you doing today
i'm feeling good uh morning coffee and uh i i just want to like be very i guess respectful into the space I did share something on the Jumbotron in reference to security.
This isn't really like a whole breakdown of, oh, we about to start trying to help all of these exploits.
But it's just like, what's the current update?
You know, like not really the headline, but I, me personally, I'm OK. The family's good. You know, loved ones are living
and breathing and we show respect to those that are in better places. But it's like when we think
about tomorrow, is it secure for our children or even like our friends and family that's like,
hey, I hear you've been doing that's like hey i hear you've been doing
that that crypto stuff or i hear you've been in finances i hear you've been an entrepreneur for a
while like no matter what the venture is enticing that's like that's what catches the attention
right it's enticing but is it like are we going to get to a point where this is secure and safe for everyone, really?
And I'm just cautiously optimistic.
But I'm doing well.
You know what?
Thank you for sharing in the nest.
For those of us who do not have the ability to share, thank you.
And we'll talk about the security.
But I'll go back and say if anyone missed the space, it was a great space to go back and listen to Grateful Ape Space in reference to the LP bonds and explaining the new partnership or the new pair that you can make with Ape chain, with the Ape token, as well as GMI.
Excellent, excellent space.
And I'll use as Tommy says,
what they have discovered is a way to fix tokenomics, right?
So if you look in Tommy's profile,
they call themselves a tokenomic fixer, right?
So, and he gave three, I believe three great points.
You know, you take the tokens off the markets,
you provide incentives, you know, to, you know, the, those who are minting the LP bonds, because
again, you want to give people an incentive to lock up the tokens. And then three, you give them
freedom, freedom, the freedom, you give people the freedom. So not only do you lock up your tokens,
but you get an incentive, you get a yield to do that. There's four different yields,
three different yields you're able to obtain. You know, you have the level one bond, level two,
level three, as well as level four. And you can earn different yields on those bonds,
depending on which one you decide to make.
You can also level up.
And so that's freedom for the people.
And I believe that's a great option.
If you don't know where to put your money, it's good to come in and learn and gain knowledge, as I'm still gaining knowledge myself.
I've been here, but I also have the LP bond for the Sheba Sequoia Forest, you know, because we want to make sure that we always are supportive and we always want to make sure that we are part of the
part of the learning experience and have different options in order to stay
sustainable over time. I'm trying to invite Tommy up, but if you could please
repost the space and we'll get more people in here. And thank you again ShivJ.
Trying to bring Tommy up.
Give me one second.
Hey, morning, guys.
Can you hear me?
Can you hear you loud and clear?
Good morning.
We can hear you loud and clear,
but you're still a listener for me.
Oh, that's weird.
Well, I'm a speaking listener then.
That's weird. How are you'm a speaking listener then. Let's go. That's weird.
How are you doing,
Was there a mix up?
I swear I saw that the space was scheduled at 8 a.m.
I'm at 7 a.m.
I'm in PST.
And then I just like popped on and I saw the space starters.
what's confused?
It's been 10 a.m.
Eastern standard time. Yeah. Yeah. I know. But the space was scheduled. It's been 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Yeah, yeah.
I know, but the space was scheduled.
Was it scheduled an hour from now?
It still said 10 start now.
I will say this.
X did have an update.
X did have an update, and I saw that,
but I don't know if that affected anyone who had maybe an Apple phone but it still said uh 10 o'clock eastern standard time and it told me to start now
which was 10 a.m that's weird not sure uh do you have an update?
If not, that's okay.
Yeah, I'm not sure.
I'm, you know, I guess somehow Mark also missed it too.
I don't know.
He would be here as well.
Can you send him a message, Gabby, in the channel?
Yeah, sure can.
Spaces are spacing.
I wanted to say I just checked my app store.
I do have an update.
Tommy is a listener.
I just make sure my Wi-Fi is off.
But usually, I'm just trying to be direct here. We have a lot of new implementations with the X platform, even new guardrails.
I'm pretty sure we are bound to seize some technical difficulties for a while.
I can't wait for X.
Just technical difficulties, really.
Yeah, this is crazy.
But I did say, I did check early this morning.
There were updates.
I kind of let everybody know as they were entering this space that, you know, if you have an update, please update your phone.
And I try to do that every space or even a couple minutes before because all of a sudden that update will appear.
And it's really strange.
But, yeah, spaces have been spacing.
But that's okay.
We're still going to keep rolling.
It is 10 o'clock Eastern Standard Time.
And I'm not sure if the time change.
I know I was affected by the time change, but that was in March.
But, yeah, glad you're here, Tommy.
And I hope you're feeling
good. How have you been? Yeah, I'm doing good. All good on my end. Just give me one minute.
I'm calling Mark here. Just give me one minute. I'll be right back. Sure. And we'll keep rolling
on because I think what you posted up there and Tommy's going to give his market take on how the
market and how things are going from his perspective and I always think
that's so helpful. Make sure I get this out to Jeff Strock too because he loves when Tommy does
his market updates. So we're trying to get this out to a few people so if you can DMs, DM people.
We know that there are updates with X and technology is technology and that's okay.
Just give you a funny little story, I had a pivot this past week
with the healthcare technology team, and it was a great conversation, but really technology is
moving fast, and there are many slip-ups and trip-ups that can happen, and just know that
it's okay. You'll work through those types of issues and problems of those sorts, and everything
will be okay.
We just keep rolling. We're here to talk about liquidity positions or LP bonds, LP stands for liquidity position and how you can understand when things happen,
there's ways to fix. And so we are calling energy, the tokenomic fixers. And I'm taking Tommy's saying exactly from his profile
and what he talked about as far as with the Grateful Ape and the space that they had this
past week. Unfortunately, I had to pivot from that because when I had the healthcare technology team
meeting at the same time, which I thought was hilarious, but I see we have Mark here
and I'm inviting him up to speak as well. And'll get started and so tell me I know that you're doing well and I know
that's been some happenings as well in the GMI tech team telegram as well and
so but love for mark to update us on some of the guides and some of the
information to help people understand better how to mint bonds and
everything that has been created thus far in the in the tech channel because i thought it's
been interesting i've been reading don't always normally respond because i'm at work and that's
okay but i am reading in the background so uh thank you for being here i'm not sure if mark
is able to come up uh like i said, I invite people to speak, but if
you do have an update, please update your phone. As we know, technology is not always perfect.
Yeah. And by the way, Gabby, just want to say, appreciate you getting everything going. I don't
know why the mix-up happened. It must be, well, obviously we had the time zone change in March and that last space was different. I don't know what happened. Whatever. We're here.
Mark, I'll let you kind of – is Mark in this space?
I don't even see him here.
What's going on?
He's a listener for me.
Man, but this thing is bugging out for sure.
Okay, there you are.
Anyway, okay, let's just – yeah, I'll just give you guys an update.
If you guys didn't listen to that space with ApeCoin,
you guys should listen to it.
We had it just a few days ago, and that was a great space.
And, you know, it's great seeing the response we get for GMI.
And I really love the angle we took, too.
We're really approaching,
we built the whole structure of an NFT marketplace, but we used it in a completely different way.
And I mean, the proof's in the pudding. Our token has been resilient. And so we launched the GMI token in September last year, and our token's up about 40, 50% around that and the rest of the market's down around 50%. Some tokens have
done worse than that too. And I think the one thing I realized as well too is a lot of people
don't take tokenomics as seriously as they should. I was talking to an ecosystem lead,
I won't say of what project, just talking to an ecosystem lead. I won't say of what project. I was talking to an ecosystem lead.
And he was kind of talking down on it.
And I was really surprised.
And I think what happens is sometimes these guys get into an ivory castle.
And they don't see what the actual situation is for founders and builders on the ground.
The reality is if you're a builder on the ground,
your token performance has so much to do with everything.
If your token is performing well,
then everyone's happy and there's a natural momentum,
there's a wind in your sail,
and you're doing well.
And it's much, much, much easier to build momentum
and to have your people be happy.
If your token is struggling, then you are fighting an enormous uphill battle that is not one that only a few people have fought.
It's one that many, many people have fought.
The majority of the spaces actually fought it.
The difficult battle of fighting against a token that's doing badly, or I should say, you know, that's your tokens doing badly
and fighting against the wind of that.
And it's a really hard battle because what happens is people become, they lose some loyalty
or whatever to the token because they, at the end of the day, however you want to say
it, ultimately people want to the token. Because at the end of the day, however you want to say it, ultimately people want to make money.
That's something we have to kind of come to terms with.
And unfortunately, I don't know why people kind of don't want to admit that
or don't want to be candid or straightforward about that.
That's the truth.
People want to make money that's that's
that's the number one reason why everyone's in crypto it's not the only reason right but it is
certainly one of the biggest reasons you know and so if you have something that can actually
help people really do that then your people will stay and as I said on the other space, they'll become evangelists, you know, because they're happy and they're, hey, something works.
And then whatever your product is behind it, that's fantastic.
But I think the bottom line is step number one, it's not something to be looked down on.
It's not something to be like, oh, like no change your tone buddy i love you man but
you can't talk about it like that you know like and then you know again i'm not going to say what
project i have you know respect there but you know the the it's a big ecosystem but their chart is
terrible you know and uh he was saying like uh you know and i'm like what about the ecosystem token itself
it's been doing quite bad he's like well you know that's where we used to pay the contributors and
uh that's uh um it seems like he was disconnected from reality, you know, like he doesn't understand
that nor investors, nor nobody, nobody wants to see a token price go down.
And so tokenomics is never something to brush over or to treat like that.
If you're treating tokenomics like that, you're not respecting it.
You're not respecting so much of what, of how this space works.
And I didn't make the rules. I really didn't. I'm just,
I'm just listening and learning myself. You know, I've been watching, observing and learning for,
you know, 10 plus years. And in these years, that's what I've seen. Like the space needs,
you need to have the right tokenomics. got to have the right design it's not a
it's not an option if you're serious you know and even if you are successful what a disadvantage
you put yourself into if you do not put the right tokenomics behind you you can have a great product
everything doing well as well, being successful.
But without the right tokenomics behind you, you are missing out on so much of an advantage
that you could have been that much stronger if you had good tokenomics.
So anyway, these are just some of my reflections on things recently.
And again, really just just surprised really surprised seeing again
some people in high up places shun tokenomics i was like okay well maybe you should talk to some
of your investors and see how they feel you know get out of your ivory tower a little bit get on
the ground go talk to some of your projects or talk to some of your people who are holding the coin and see how they feel.
Maybe they're speaking a different tone.
Anyway, let me pause there.
Shib, I see you want to jump in and go for it.
Yeah, Tommy, I really wanted to piggyback on the thought process.
We, as crypto enthusiasts, do need to accept the hard reality that retail investors, venture capitalists, all the above and everything in between want to make some money.
But they do want to also learn something, some of us.
I can't say all retail.
We may buy the next thing.
You pick the category.
We'll just buy the next thing because it has a nice headline.
But the ultimate point here is people lose that drive, that fire, that motivation, the intensity of their, not even just their strategy,
but I don't want to be too vulgar on this space, but their care for the project, they
would end up caring less if performance is bad.
But it's also, you know,y um are you familiar with the movie
rocky yeah of course man my dad goes by rocky this is kind of like an avatar of that sort
all right okay i get a little personal side of tommy today um shout out to your dad and i'm pretty sure your dad can probably motivate some people
um all respect to him i don't know your life at this point but just if he can if he can take on
the name rocky and people accept it he has to be a leader of some sort in in my mind that's what
i'm thinking uh correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah, for sure. I mean, the guy's a Rocky man through and through.
And I'm pretty sure if your dad had his fire, his intensity on a higher frequency,
other people may gravitate to it. Other people may say he's a crazy man, but ultimately that's what it takes within not even just finances, but any form of entrepreneurship.
The leaders, multiples of, because it wouldn't be just one.
Like, we all can be Rocky, you know.
Rocky trained the next generation.
Rocky was trained by the generation before him.
by the generation before him.
And we just need more leaders in the space
to guide the ship through the turbulent waters
or even fly the plane through the air.
We just need people guiding.
Like I've seen in this whole recent exploit,
we have the exploiters that were like real close to the team and stuff.
And it just goes to show like you still have to kind of be wary of who you're dealing with.
But as far as you, the individual, all of us here, those listening, as an individual, we can only do our part if you so choose.
Tokenomics help, yes. even if a project was doing horribly.
You can even have an idea, and who knows if the builders can build.
I know landing the plane here,
initially the bonds were not eligible to be fractionalized,
and then we had an upgrade.
And even now the options of bonds are expanding with other projects and communities, assets and everything in between. So how things were in the past, it can change based on our leadership.
And I wanted to say also, I even appreciate you, Tommy, for the consideration because, you know, most of, you know, things go. This is how it's set up. We're not changing anything. Take a little, give a little. You, considering the possibilities of how it can affect the business on the good and the bad and finding the happy median.
Ultimately, that was progress.
And we all think that's in our own way.
So I appreciate not only you.
I don't want to call you Rocky Jr. respectfully.
You are Tommy.
You are your own person.
But I appreciate you being a leader.
And that's what we need in this space on top of tokenomics.
Yeah, thanks for saying that, Galvin.
I appreciate that.
You're right.
The space ultimately needs better leadership. I mean, you can really chop that up so many ways, too.
I mean, I'm just seeing, honestly, from the security angle as well, too. I wish I was more, I wish, I don't know. I mean, I guess I don't want to say I wish because I am where I'm supposed to be, I guess. I think the security angle kind of helped the project a lot.
I think that by the way you all were promoting security, it brought people in to want to listen in, not just for bonds, but people connect to privacy and security.
They don't even know about a product yet. So I think the way you all started the conversation a while ago and now, you know, talking about, you know, tokenomics and breaking things down that really matter to the average person.
They don't even know about a product yet.
You all are training and teaching while at the same time gaining customers.
You know, one of the great things about that is they took it back to the basics. And maybe Mark can share some of the things of, you know, talking about in the Telegram and the group chat about user adoption and having office hours just for community members to learn more.
Because when you teach people how to do things, they become more confident in what they do.
And I wanted to kind of ask Mark, you know, what has he been working on for the community in general to increase adoption of the LP bonds?
Because I think he's been doing something really great and wonderful.
And I'd love for you to talk about it, Mark, if you can, if you're available.
Mark, are you there?
No, I'm here. Just coordinating through the telegram groups yeah uh so me and tommy we had the discussion and uh i don't know tommy if you're speaking you can hear
me right yeah i can hear you yeah yeah i think uh just to let you know guys like you know x rolled
out a new feature did you see that to that Tommy so anybody tweeting about like crypto or anything like you know they their account for getting like
outright banned I saw that a little bit what's going on is that uh yeah yeah the cracking very
heavy on uh bots and bot accounts and all of those like it started um like three four days ago but today
it just went on to like a kamikaze mode like they they got it like real bad so let's see what they're
doing i mean crypto twitter is very strong you know everybody is like there so So, yeah. Uh, so coming back to the user acquisition, um,
yeah, I was talking to, I was just going through like, you know, the whole, uh,
um, LP bonds, um, mechanics and everything. And, uh,
one thing when, uh, we are surrounded by a lot of information,
we don't realize what is called as an information
bias something that is you can easily understand is not uh is maybe not is not easily understood
by people that are outside of your ecosystem or that are new or that are sharing you for the first
time something like that like you know if you hold a stock um and you have a lot of information about
it because you know you are uh you're holding it for a very long time and you know everything about
the company but others don't know so sometimes you take decisions might be different decisions
so it comes from that it's information bias really uh very good principle by charlie munger itself like you know he says
like when you have an information bias you tend to make decisions that are different from others
um so based on that uh that step was taken uh um so we have office hours now uh it starts monday It starts Monday to Saturday. It's around 12 noon ESD New York time.
Anybody can come into our Discord channel.
It lasts for an hour.
And then anybody has any questions or anything related to LP bonds.
They want to watch like a little bit of demo because we have a lot of videos recorded.
Have any questions or anything.
We answer it directly uh during that call yeah thank you for that mark um and that's uh great to have uh community time where you can actually talk to the community and then kind of
explain to them you know how and how they work.
And, you know, people don't necessarily have to always ask out loud, even though we love transparency
and we'd love for everybody to, you know, kind of ask the question because there's probably somebody else
that has the same question, but unfortunately doesn't want to ask it out loud.
And if you could, Mark, I'm not sure.
I think you guys might also have mentioned infrastructure testing, kind of, you know, high level.
Some of that has been going on as well as the investors length.
As far as the infrastructure testing is going on, there's a lot of things happening in the background.
is going on there's a lot of things happening in the uh in in the background um i think our biggest
uh most important thing here is to understand what the users are facing right now and kind of
introduce them to our ecosystem and i think uh level one minting is uh a great place where it's very easy it's just it's just on a click of a button um and uh we're
focusing on uh you know early user experience uh how we can actually remove the roadblocks
from every user that is entering in our ecosystem and i think uh the early stage is obviously the
level one board so you'll see a lot of marketing content also coming around
that where we'll have like an easy user guide um uh you know getting into that uh level one
ecosystem so once you are in the level one ecosystem you're obvious you know um the next
step is like you know you want to have like a higher API.
Thank you for that, Mark.
As well as I've been trying to invite PaulXBT up, I do believe.
They are up here, but I'm not sure because it still looks like requested,
but it looked like it was accepting of the speaker.
If you're up, please feel free to speak if you have a question.
But Mark, while they're preparing to speak, I want to also ask you about the investors link.
Could you tell us a little bit more about the investors link that's available?
Is that the investors page that you're asking for the yeah yeah yeah now i can't see it uh but i i did see it at one point but i don't see it right now i'll have to go back over it i know
i was like oh that's nice and i clicked on it but somehow i don't i don't see it as of now but i'll go back and take a look but um one did just say oh you do okay because i'm like i'll drop it
through the gm i count down yeah and guys if you're already in the spaces like you know drop a
gm in the comment section and then uh you know like and retweet the spaces do like and retweet
the spaces and we will repost i will repost your GM. Get more of your people and your community
members in here to learn because I think this is an exciting opportunity as, you know, having
options, honestly, is a great thing to have, you know, whether it's in crypto or like Mark had
mentioned, whether it's stocks, you know, bonds or whatever you feel like you want to invest in.
Invest in your future, invest in the future of your children,
the future generation.
And I think that it will do you wonders
and make sure you diversify.
So that's why we're here today
learning about LP bonds
and the importance of LP bonds
and locking up that liquidity
as being, as Tommy has said it before,
the tokenomics fixers.
I really like that.
So Tommy, I did steal that from the head, the great ape space, grateful ape space.
I thought he was an excellent host and would love to attend some of his spaces as well,
because it's a great space and great questions for you as they are minting.
I've been on the minting page for the ape bonds.
It seems like they're doing pretty well. So congratulations on the minting as well. But wanted to circle back
around to thank you again, Mark, for sharing and circle back around to Tommy. Any additional
market news you wanted to share or anything that you see going on in the market that you have
experienced with either the project or just experience as a trader, if you do that, or an
investor? How are things looking from your perspective? Yeah, a bit of a crazy time in the
world right um i think on tuesday we're gonna get the power plants bombed
world, right? I think on Tuesday, we're going to get the power plants bombed.
uh yeah and then uh so that that's all that's all cool uh i mean i mean whatever right what can we
do about it um and then and then oil is probably gonna go up a lot more man i saw gas at eight
dollars a gallon for diesel yesterday i'm'm like, damn, that's crazy.
I've never seen that before.
That's probably going to go higher.
Yeah, probably going to put pressure on people.
I don't know.
It kind of feels like we're in this like, you know, kind of.
And then so there's one angle of it, the geopolitical.
And then the other one is like the bonds um not not lp bonds but like the government
bonds and whatnot had to be refinanced they have to be refinanced and so i think that's like a
piece of it i feel like this whole geopolitical thing was kind of forced it's obviously wasn't
natural it's like someone was like pulling the strings was like it's time to do this fucking
war you know it's like it's not like there was actually a real significant driver behind it.
It was like a forced hand.
It was like, this has to happen.
We need this war now.
That's kind of how I feel about it.
So that's that.
And then, unfortunately, the people always pay the price, right?
It's not obviously the governments and stuff like that.
And the oil companies are making a ton of money now war companies probably making good
money it's the people who pay the price and I think we're as humanity we're all
kind of getting pretty tired of that and I hope those systems are changing I'm
an optimist you know I love the level of technology we have today and I love
where things are going in the future so I mean I'm optimistic you know I love the level of technology we have today and I love where things are going in the
future so I mean I'm optimistic you know with the capabilities we have so it's not a it's not a great
time but maybe it's like a time of growing pains you know you got to kind of traverse it to get to
the other side sort of thing that's kind of how I feel about it. But that being said, yeah, market is a little bit, I mean, if oil goes up, probably stock market is going to go down.
And then it seems like it still hits crypto, though crypto has already been brutalized basically the past, since that October crash, you know, and the subsequent times it's been, we've just, we've been in the longest
bear market in crypto ever.
You know, we're still in a bear market.
Like Bitcoin had a nice surge and then kind of like came back down and Bitcoin's doing
ETH alone, which is the second biggest crypto, is like floating around 2000.
You know what's crazy?
ETH hit 1500 in 2017.
So ETH is almost the same price today as that peak you hit in 2017.
How many years is that?
It's like eight years.
And we're in crypto where things are supposed to grow a lot, right?
And ETH alone is like barely above that high.
I mean, it tells you the state of the market, man.
And then if ETH is struggling that bad, everything else is, you know, and there's
like new altcoins popping off every week in the intention economy, altcoins
just getting brutalized.
So we're in the depths of bear market and yeah.
So, so that's the state and it don't look like it's going to get that much better in the near term.
But, you know, after that, after they do the, I don't think we're going to get an L-shaped or a V-shaped recovery on this one, you guys.
I think it's going to be an L-shaped one.
That's my thought, which is not great.
But, you know, after that all happens, then I think crypto is really well positioned because i think the next step after that is a lot of inflation i mean i don't see another way out
i don't see another way out besides governments printing a ton of money tell me how have you all
or how have you been able to keep the project afloat and still been able to push forward in
some this is one of the...
I don't think I've seen it this bad.
Sentiment is hella low.
People losing money left and right.
Projects dying left and right.
And just trying to keep that, you know, hope alive, I guess.
But how does the project, you know, not just you,
but everyone involved with energy, how do you all keep it going? Man, I'll, but how does the project, you know, not just you, but everyone involved with
energy, how do you all keep it going? Man, I'll tell you what, this, you know, when you go through
this, it teaches you a lot. One of those things we really learned is how to run super lean.
I'll give you an example. We have, you know, we use AWS and Mark's been involved in this too,
and props to Mark on that. but like the past month or two
like really we've put on DevOps hats
and gone into the depths of AWS
we learned all the different types of
servers and costs that go into it
and with a fine tooth comb
and like learned how
because that was one of our biggest cost centers
and I mean we were spending $4,000 to $5, cause that's, that's, that's what, that was one of our biggest cost centers. Um, and I mean, we were spending four to 5,000 a month on that. We've cut it down to
about 2000. Um, has, has AI helped? Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah. Big time. You can
use, um, you can basically extract reports and then feed it to the AI and help it analyze.
Does it know everything?
Does it make the wrong assumption sometimes?
I mean, same thing with AI everything.
Like, never just blindly assume what it says is correct.
But I would give it a ton of credit.
It finds and points out things.
Like, I'll give an example.
Like, we have, you know, the Arbitrum chain, for instance, right?
And, like, one of our, we had a ton of costs,
like 12 terabytes of data a month.
And I'm like, what can we be using?
We shouldn't have that much data.
We go in there and we find out that it's basically pulling
every single block, which Arbitrum has really fast blocks,
so credit, they're like 100 milliseconds or something,
like 10 per second.
And so it's pulling the data off every one of those blocks
and all the data, which is obviously not necessary, right?
And so that's something that developers don't think about
when they build something.
They didn't even think about having a polling system
that should only pull every, say, 10 seconds
instead of every 100 milliseconds,
which is 100 times less
frequently. And if you do that, then you save 100 times the costs on it. It's like little things
like that, that, you know, add up. So yeah, I guess high level, big picture, it's just learning
how to, you know, dial in the cost big time. We run a really, I'm really proud of how our organization runs.
At this point, we run a very lean organization,
and that's really important.
You got to do that to be resilient.
So, you know, and then the, meanwhile, I've been, yeah, go ahead.
Just want to say, even in, you know, and, you know,
as far as what I do in IT, you know, when developing or building, those were really in specific hands.
Only a few touched it.
Only a few got the comment on it.
But now with AI, I'm even noticing that we're becoming, we're pulling our bootstraps up.
I see normal people creating now.
see normal people creating now.
Like we need it, we need certain things.
Like we need it.
We need certain things.
Someone actually created a tool using AI to help us with our call flows and
managing SIP services.
And this was all done in-house.
So just seeing how the dynamics of a business being, I guess, kind of limited
based on skill set or who could do what.
But now, you know, AI has really opened it up and allow a customer to breathe a little.
When I mean breathe is, other than inhaling, you got to be able to exhale too.
So there's a rhythm in that.
So just hearing how AI helped you all, you know, loosen some of that, you know, overhead
up and actually redirect some of those funds to where it can help the business grow quicker, faster, more efficiently.
It's just good to hear.
Thank you, Tommy.
Yeah, no, I agree.
And we have – yeah, it's such a powerful tool.
We have to be very grateful for it.
That's part of the thing too.
Like I'm getting very optimistic for where we're going and stuff.
Assuming we have good leadership, as Calvin was saying,
we need to have good leadership to shepherd us through this new age of opportunity.
We need to put good ethics in front.
It's circling back to earlier in the conversation.
Again, security and stuff in this space is the first problem that I solve,
and we see it just continuing to spiral.
And again, just continued lack of awareness that people have
that you could do things in a better way.
I think sooner or later people will realize the way we've done things.
While it may not be perfect, it works.
And the alternative is you have a situation where things are just spiraling out of control.
I mean, I, to be honest with you, I'm just, it's uncomfortable being in crypto.
I'm in the same position as all of you.
It's just uncomfortable being in crypto when you're on, when you're just dealing with over the, how do you say it?
Like the cloud hanging over you of potential security risks.
It's just not fun.
And then there's something the space has just accepted and dealt with.
That doesn't have to be done that way.
You could actually have a semblance of reliably insecurity and a backup net to cover your ass in case some shit that you didn't see that could happen happen you know you you said something that a lot of people in the community
overlook and a lot of times they get they don't even give a damn you're in the same position as
us i'm gonna say it again tommy is in the same position as us and when when developers and
builders got to make moves that help solidify
them a little bit better to extend the project or do it because a lot of people don't understand
how business operates or functions. Um, so just to hear you say that, Hey, I'm in the same boat
as you all that goes over so many people's heads as far as they just looking at one,
they're talking to go up. Thank you for saying that Tommymmy yeah no it's you know you gotta have all the pieces of the puzzle you know so like
there's different angles it's not it's not just one thing that makes something successful obviously
i think security alone doesn't do it as we've clearly seen it's not that's not the end all be
all it's a piece of the puzzle for sure and a growing piece of the puzzle but yeah then then you got to have
the other components too you got to have the as we're discussing i said on the ape they've changed
spaces i said it like a hundred times i was like charts got to go up because that's another piece
of the puzzle you got to have the tokenomics to do that um yeah you got to have all the you put
all the pieces together then i think you got it's like making a recipe you know you got to have all the, you put all the pieces together that I think you got. It's like making a recipe, you know, you got to get all the, all the ingredients together.
Then you can have something beautiful.
But yeah, it takes.
These are the early, these are the early topics that, um, a lot of us overlook and that we
missed, um, early on.
And I wanted to, you know, piggyback and say, Calvin, this kind of reminds me of people.
They just talking about burns.
Hey, burn the token.
But there's more to it than just burning a damn token.
It's just those early conversations when you don't have much experience or know how making these comments or assumptions when it comes to security and your wallet,
tokenomics.
These are so important.
Burn it up, baby.
Dude, I 100% agree.
I see some people just like on that mentality.
It's like one-track mind.
Yeah, it's all about...
That's a fun little piece of the puzzle.
Yeah, it's not the NLlbl but a good piece yeah good
good intuition i wanted to uh i was enjoying the show but with the topics of the burns
it's kind of like you i don't really want to like undermine it but uh for the foodies out there just
kind of like lightening the load on all of this you you know, you get like your jambalaya as far as tokenomics.
You can have your burns, but yes, it's not the end all be all.
You can have staking, locked liquidity.
Ultimately, it is about token. I don't even want to say allocation, but where is the supply and how much is available, how much is on the market, what is being utilized, what's locked up, what's burned.
do pose relevance at the end of the day.
And especially if there's a way for people
to burn systematically through tokenomics.
I mean, even when we just keep it simple,
Uniswap, majority of everyone that has a DEX
is either forking or I guess front running
the Uniswap upgrades. We can just have a hook to the Dell
wallet and ultimately all trading fees get burned if that was what someone wanted to do.
But there's so many different options. Even if you consider, I guess, a technical thing,
if users staked or participated in any utility through any type of smart contract, there can be fees per transaction input-output, and those fees couldn't even contribute to burns or even community incentives or just locking up tokens for later development even.
So many different options,
but a good old bowl of jambalaya.
Thank you for that, Tasha.
There was so much good information being shared here.
You know, in the 2026 goals,
you know, as Tommy stated,
you know, the TVL, lock liquidity,
you know, tokenomics,
partnerships are important
So it's always good to rehash that and go over that.
But we definitely want to get into some of those questions today, you know, because like
our title says, you know, GMI, LP bonds, NFT plus DeFi, the reality of DeFi liquidity.
And he talked about that, you know, during the, you know, Grateful Ape space
with the Ape and GMI new pairs that you can make now out of the liquidity for liquidity bonds. And
you can make those now, but I did want to kind of jump into the questions and I'm not sure. I think
we're, we're ready for that. We know what's going on in the economy today, but you know what? It's got to be something that you believe in. So you have to have yourself, the devs on the team and the community come know because it's happening and times are tight times
are tough but uh what are the most defi liquidity uh incentives fund them why excuse me are most
defi liquidity incentives fundamentally broken why are they broken yeah you know what um when
i hear that you know honestly i kind of love this love this subject because I love it when we're in a
place where we can help projects and kind of fill a spot. I mean, and by the way, I want to give you
guys an update too. So just to actually give you guys a broad update relevant to this, where are
we? What are we working on? What's going on now with GMI, right? And so the place we're at is the tech is built and stable which i'm very happy about
took a lot to get here um but yeah that's very very cool right like a lot of the some a lot of
the past spaces past months you know back when i was in thailand last year we were still in building
mode we were kind of like graduated i'm not saying building's never over, you know, so caveat there, but I mean,
like we built the mall. The mall is built. Sure, we'll do some more upgrades and stuff,
but it's built. And so where we're at now is we're in heavy BD mode. And what does that mean? It
means now we're transitioning from that side of the build mode into the sales mode, essentially.
And we've been getting a BD team rolling there.
So we've got now several BDs on the team.
And they've been doing a good job bringing us projects.
We have a lot of products we're connecting to now, which is exactly what we need to be doing. And so we'll be connecting to those projects and helping bring GMI to them. Yeah, Rugrat, you want to say something?
No, just hearing you say that, I'm working on a tool to attract or attain customers on social
media for the company that I work for. So just hearing you, seeing that
transition, that's a big transition, y'all. Y'all got, even though he's talking really, his tone,
that's a big transition for a company. Huge. Thank you for giving us that update.
Yeah. Thanks for that insight too. Yeah. And he's right. It is a big transition. You know, it's a shifting gears.
It's a different mode, but it's a fun one.
It's actually my natural territory.
You know, this is actually more my territory than a builder.
But, owners, that's y'all fun.
That's y'all playground.
You're about to have some fun now, Tommy.
Well said.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm looking forward to it.
It's a beautiful spot to be in.
And, you know, as you guys saw on the Ape Chain space, and, you know, as I've seen, as I told you guys before, I've seen at the conference and stuff I went to and other things, the conferences, people are very receptive, which is great, because we're speaking a language that it's a pain point that they understand. I mean, again, no ivory tower here.
You've got to be down to earth
and know what the pain people are feeling.
Like anyone who has a token that's out
knows the pressure of tokenomics,
knows the pressure of having their token being hurt
and what do they do and how do they tackle that?
What do they do?
You know, and here we are bringing the banner,
bringing a solution.
And so, yeah, it's a beautiful time and we're we're now getting connected to a lot of projects and um you know
i anticipate i'm already getting these calls scheduled on my calendar and i anticipate the
next couple months is going to be me doing a lot of calls, connecting with other BDs and leaders of other projects and getting GMI plugged in.
And we could charge an integration fee for these integrations.
That's the value we're bringing.
And for the early partners, we'll integrate them for free.
What we want in return from them is co-marketing.
What does that mean is we want them to be going to their community on a regular basis and encouraging them to mint the bonds. That's it. That's what we want in return for us, bringing all this technology. In return for them, we are being a tokenomics fixer, as Gabby was saying earlier, but that's the truth of it. We're being a tokenomics fixer for their project. We are bringing what they were missing.
were missing you know and uh and so as we get more and more projects in our corner then those
projects will be going and promoting gmi and after we hit a critical mass of enough projects doing
that i expect we'll take off and that's the direction we are obviously i want to hit that
this year so i'm working hard to seeing that happen um but that's kind of the goal for this
year is to hit that breakout point and uh it's
been cool i'll just say you guys it's been cool you know you guys seen the whole journey i'm
hoping you all can partner up with zach um i i've been following him for a while in his platform
um i'm seeing the success that they're having as far as promoting and getting projects names out there
even i'm not not just social i'm looking at the chart too um but i'm hoping that you know we start
you know in this sales we start seeing you all on on you know more x spaces and um just promoting
um gmi yeah thanks for saying i should, uh, when does he do his spaces? You know, does he do them
regularly? It varies. It varies. It's nothing. I know he has a consistent one, but it varies.
I don't know the specific times. Yep. Okay. Well, that's a good, that's a good call though. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Those are, I love, I love getting on spaces and you know, it seems like people are
generally quite receptive to it too. Sorry. were you saying something go ahead yeah i just wanted to jump in and say paul actually
and i've been trying to get him to come up and unfortunately it's just not allowing me to bring
him up but he's been watching gmi and energy for a long time um and he really wants to get in
contact with you he kind of sent me the spiel uh behind the scenes but i said it would be better
for him to speak directly when it comes to investing and other sorts of projects that he's
involved in. I do believe it's Victus Global that he's working with closely and wanted to get in
touch with you. Tommy, what's the best way that he can get in touch with you or Mark? I know we say
Discord, but when it comes to, like you just mentioned, you'll be having,
send me a DM. I DMs are open. Okay. You can DM me directly.
Okay. Paul, if you heard that, you know, thumbs up, emote, um, uh, reach out to, uh, Tommy directly,
uh, when it comes to what you sent to me and the DM, I think that would be very helpful. I saw he
did emote when, uh, Rugret said, uh, to get in contact with Zach. So there could be, you know, some partnerships, relationships being built there.
So thank you so much, Paul. And I want to let him know that we were trying to bring him up and I
continue, but for some odd reason, it's not doing it. So thank you, Paul, for reaching out directly.
And so, Tommy, I didn't want to cut off, didn't want to cut you off there,
but did want to bring that up. But going back to the question of, you know, why are most defile
liquidity incentives fundamentally broken? And you were going to kind of talk to us a little bit
about more about that. Yeah. So, yeah, we were kind of getting there. So just to circle back to that.
So, you know, again, I think it comes down to
you have to have a good incentive model
and you have to have the right tokenomics behind it.
The way a lot of projects are doing it today
is they are giving out, you know,
their incentive they're giving out is their token, right?
And we did that with energy, you know, this was back in 2017.
There is no better option.
People are still doing it today.
I'll give another example, which is really comes to mind.
There's a DEX that came out.
There's like kind of a newer DEX came out the past year and they had like another,
another like same company like another decks and
another chain and uh they've got some good marketing power behind it you know um and i
want to see them win you know but man oh man their chart oh my god the chart is down like 99
over the past year and it doesn't matter how much uh trading trading you have on your decks
how much activity and all this stuff again if your chart is not going up everybody looks at
the chart man i didn't make the rules i did not make the rules but you have to play the game and
and listen and learn okay um when people go look at chart, and the chart is down 99% in one year,
I don't care if users got double the tokens.
I don't care.
That doesn't matter.
No one on the outside knows that.
And doubling in your number of tokens
also doesn't make up for going down 99% either.
And so, but it's because they don't fundamentally understand
a couple of things
they don't first of all understand the importance of chart goes up that's going to be like a creed
you guys that's what i really i really brought that in the ape coin space and i'm gonna say it
from now on chart goes up the charts got to go up man they don't understand the importance of that
i do i hope you guys do i didn't make the rules but that's the rules okay the charts got to go up
if the chart don't go up then people ain't going to be happy and people are rules, but that's the rules, okay? The chart's got to go up. If the chart don't go up, then people ain't going to be happy,
and people are going to leave.
That's the rule.
I didn't make the rules.
I'm just listening and learning too, okay?
So charts got to go up, okay?
So, yeah, but what they do is they pay out in their native token,
and then what happens?
People go dump it. Wow, have we learned that yet like again
i didn't make the rules i'm just observing but if you give them the token they're gonna dump it
you know that's just how they're gonna do it you know you take 10 random people and put them in a
room half i'm gonna do it and there's nothing you can do to try to convince them not. The only thing you can do to have them not do it
is to build something where it can't happen.
That's exactly what we did.
So that's the problem.
And then, of course, so people have tried to solve that problem
by doing a lockup.
But again, the problem with the lockup is nobody wants to be locked up.
And so the most you get really is a five-year lockup in the outside. And you do a four or five-year lockup which is on the high end of what exists that
you're going to have a day of reckoning not too far i'll use an example their curve you know and
all the love for curve but they did a four-year lockup and the four years came in wet go look at
their chart somebody go pull up a curve chart and go look for yourself. So what is the answer telling you there?
Four-year lockup is not sufficient because you're going to get dumped on in four years.
In fact, it didn't wait until four years.
People start dumping it around year three because they saw that coming, right?
So you really only have a couple years, and then you're going to be in the same boat as everybody else.
So a four-year lockup ain't the answer.
You got to have a lockup long enough to really get somewhere.
And even then, like, again, 20 years is really not my objective here.
My objective is perpetual liquidity, permanent liquidity.
You know, 20 years is kind of like a pretty good starting point.
When we get to that 20 years, you know i've got some plans to make
that pretty much permanent that's the plans this liquid abuse you know i'm a big i'm a big user of
curve and years come down but there's so much value that i've you know abstracted from curve
it was never really about the lockup though it was about giving them a runway to build a product and build loyalty and trust.
I think that's what works with the lockup. I think a lockup alone doesn't work. see it you know adding um basically to their personal tvl total value of their own um finances
so i think a lockup alone doesn't work but i think when you got a solid product you got a good team
um meaning energy is important too it's funny i said that energy meaning you know the way that
the team interacts with with um with people with customers or the way that you all communicate on X.
People tend to forget these little things that add up such they make such big waves as far as a company's success that they get overlooked.
that they get overlooked.
But again, I think a lock up alone doesn't work.
But when you got it as part of an ingredient
with a good product such as what you all have built,
and this has taken time, sweating energy,
and arguments, man, it's just good to grow up
with a company a little bit.
Yeah, right on.
Thanks for sending it, Rugrat.
Let me ask you, by the way,
and I have a lot of love for Curve.
I just want to ask you, how do you feel about, feel about like i don't know since when you've been holding
you know how do you feel about the chart you know how do you how is that you know i i don't i don't
feel too good about the chart but i i do feel good i use their platform quite a bit now if you want
to have some of the lowest slippage when you need to swap between stables curve is the where you need to go
i mean you could swap usdt usdc and i'm talking about it's literally in change um sometimes i use
it to arbitrage between both of them i could swap say five or ten thousand and make ninety dollars
that's how crypto is y'all sometimes it ain't balanced right but you know what there's an
incentive for folks like us to go out there and rebalance it we're not stealing or taking nothing
like all of this is part of ecosystem behavior yeah well said yeah curve curve is the
the leader in that to your point yeah for those of you guys who don't know, they've done a fantastic job at, you know,
having low, like very low friction trades,
basically low cost trades,
low slippage and stuff like that.
I think this Uniswap and them are catching up now,
but they were a leader in that.
But to your point,
so wouldn't you be as innovative as they've been?
Wouldn't you be like a lot happier if assuming? Wouldn't you be a lot happier if,
assuming their chart went up 10 times in the past year,
a couple of years?
See, here's the thing.
If you're just looking at the token,
that's where you lost.
There's a whole platform where you're getting incentives
and pay to put your resources in other L other lps like you looking at just the token
but on the back end you're making so much more i you got to use it to understand it and and
they're not the only ones aerodrome finance they're one of them that that uses it you can look at
their token that you know i got in at 30 cents they jumped all the way up to like a dollar and 15 20 cents and on the back end you're you're earning passively um and it what what i what i
like about the platform is not about earning y'all it's about engagement that's where i'm hoping gm gmi
goals is not just about tokenomics and security you know what a lot of that is going to go to the
back end because when when it's done right you're not even concerned tokenomics and security. You know what? A lot of that is going to go to the back end because when it's done right,
you're not even concerned about privacy and security
because it suggests function and work.
But what I'm primarily, you know, as I stay involved,
I want to be engaged with GMI.
Give me a reason to come, you know, use it daily,
to come to the website daily.
You know, can you incorporate you know certain behaviors that
was one of the things that canine did really well canine did something really well where you had to
engage with bone crusher in order to earn passively you just can't just put it in there and let it sit
no come claim come stake come do this come do that i think engagement goes a long way
yeah good stuff um and i agree with you uh but just to just to draw the point is i love hearing
the excitement you know from your end about it and man if you if you pair that up though i think
that's the recipes that's what i'm trying to get to the recipes if you compare all those pieces up and combine that with a chart that goes up man that's the recipe for something
enormous that's the recipe for something really powerful you you know having had an opportunity
to work with several owners and business startups because they'll usually pull me in
owners and business startups because they'll usually pull me in um to get them going on the
back end as far as you know technicals um networks infrastructure things of that sort so when i'm
sitting in these these uh meetings you know a lot of the times the the money comes later
it's the work that in those conversations though intimate cutting those in business partners it's
crazy that i see over email how multi-million dollar partners are created hey this will benefit all of us in the region
you know um okay let's all meet up and you know have this discussion you know that's how it all
starts y'all just a simple need that needs to be fulfilled and they provide it but yeah tommy i'm
just you know i i really like gm i like
where it's going i just want to see that you know increased um flow as far as the ui is concerned i
want to be engaged with it you know i want to come use it every day although i do come check what the
rates look like see what the aprs look like but yeah i want to be engaged with the platform yeah what comes to mind when you say that is like our incentive engine and i i want people to engage
with that more because there's stuff you could do every day you know there's a lot of little
opportunities you can grab in terms of man if i if i uh bid and list on this bond i can make
really good money or this or that. There's a lot of that.
I think it's kind of early stages.
of course,
I'll reflect on what you said and think of more of that.
I think ultimately the big thing we need right now is we need more
participants in the ecosystem,
and that ties to the BD efforts.
you know, as we get,
that's the engagement.
I think that that's what
you know if you can have an event where poor people lean or um i don't know tommy but i i
know you're gonna come up with it that's the thing we don't know but you're gonna come up with it
thanks man i appreciate you appreciate that yeah we're gonna you know in the end of the game in
the end of the day it's about that, you know, and sticking with it and figuring out. Totally, man. We'll figure it out one way or another. So, yeah, thanks for saying that, man. Appreciate you.
And, you know, I have to say that, Rugrat, to participate with canines, you know, incentives, you know, go and follow someone or complete this task or do this or do that.
It was engaging every day.
So I will say those are the types of incentives that, you know, people like, but also GMI has the airdrop.
So there's an airdrop where you can participate as well.
So we don't want to overlook those things that they already have,
but even having, you know, a few more things are always great too.
So thank you for that suggestion.
And we'll pass it over to Calvin.
Go ahead, Calvin.
See you up here.
Yes, I appreciate you, Gabby.
Piggybacking on what Rugrat was stating,
it kind of motivated me to just kind of elaborate a little bit.
I can't speak for Curve.
I use Curve.
I can't speak for Aerodrome.
I use Aerodrome.
I can't speak for Velodrome or any of these other platforms.
But just as a user, my perspective, reward tokens do get sold, as Tommy stated. The statistic, the experiment of
put a group of people in a room, how many of them are going to sell? A vast amount. This is true.
I'm probably one of them. But it's also this whole thing of, like in crypto, it's not about how much you can
make, but how much you can keep.
control what people do when they
sign for their transactions, but
for those that do seek
the longevity of a project,
the locking up
potential, like Rugrat locking up Curve CRV on Ethereum and being able to participate in that ecosystem, it is a great thing.
is a multi-chain token.
It can lead to some, I guess, siphoning of liquidity
even when you spread all of these different pooling opportunities,
stables or volatile assets, and even Curve USD, right?
Gotta love the stables.
The reward token may see a reduction in price due to the fact that there's not really much buying happening, but much rewards, right?
And it could be an incentive, an opportunity for people to gain incentive, you know, to rebalance or to add liquidity, simply put,
if they so choose. Now, from the aerodroms and the velodroms, how they stand out,
I'm looking forward to them merging together, by the way. But it's like the incentive button. Just as a user, I do see the difference
between, I guess, they are shielded the TVL. Oh, our platform is being used. This, I don't know,
wrap Bitcoin and USDC pool is being traded more on this platform, but it's more in-depth.
People lock up their liquidity and earn the platform token, same as the Curve example.
But it's the whole thing of users can add to the reward pool.
add to the reward pool.
Users can see the reward rate or see the APY or the APR,
however the protocol is designed.
They can see that and then users can empower it, fuel it.
power it, fuel it, they can, hopefully, they can ensure the longevity of a project. And I say that
because nothing is a guarantee. But if I see the GMI and USDT pool, or the NRG rather, if I see the NRG and USD pool or even new things, ApeCoin,
if we see these things and say, I think the yield could be better, it would be cool to have
like an incentivize button, a contribution button,
not necessarily a donation.
Incentives or other protocols, title them as bribes.
Incentives can, in theory, because nothing is a guarantee, so I'm just saying this with a disclaimer,
incentives can attract more users to the pool, more participants into adding liquidity, them being LPers, liquidity providers. If they see a higher yield, higher yields are attractive. to up those rewards. But if the community can up it,
sure, initial deployment by team, if so be.
But even if there was a new pool
that users wanted to not only implement,
but also incentivize,
they can do that on the aerodroms and the velodroms if, like in theory, there's not a big incentive on weath and USDT, just for an example.
rally the troops and we got our own new pool kind of going. Same assets, but different process
or rather different incentives. The reward rate can be diversified. People can pick and choose.
I feel as though those metrics add to the aerodroms and novella drums that kind of gave them an edge in comparison to the uni
swaps or the curves now granted curve has an edge because they have their own stable coin so it's a
potential that people swap their crv rewards for a more stable uh i guess safe haven, potentially. But no matter if it's stability by the platform or user incentives by the community,
it's always the next step.
It's always something more that we can do.
And I'm happy to hear these conversations as well.
And I appreciate Rugrat just touching know, all bases of DeFi.
Yeah, I'll chime in there to your point. You got to give the, yeah, the incentives,
as you're talking about, they got to be there. Whether we call them incentives,
bribes, I was kind of just thinking about that in my mind.
They're basically the same kind of,
repeating the same thing.
You got to give incentive to the users to participate, you know?
And again, the way most projects have done it until now
is just kind of step, the version one per se,
which is like, okay, just give them some rewards in your token.
That's kind of the version one.
And again, the problem with that as a second order effect of that is, well, you know, lo and behold, as I didn't, again, learning through experience, right?
Learning through what we go through.
When we created energy and we were giving rewards for people and energy, I thought, oh, people are just going to be happy to hold on to their energy because that's what I did. I thought, oh, everyone's like, can I just hold on their energy
and then find out that's not the case, you know, and what that ultimately results in is
cell pressure. And that's what projects are still learning today. A lot of projects still
haven't learned that. You know what? I think, Tommy, I think early on that was the way to go
about it. But outside of your customers being an
asset, your business is an asset too. And that means engagement and activity can be measured.
So if that is part of what makes your business or your company, that's part of the DNA.
That's part of what partners that want to come in and say, you know, we want to work.
What data can you give us, you know, that want to come in and partner? That type of activity,
you know, carries a lot of weight. Yeah. Yeah. Agreed. But ultimately,
um but ultimately with with all that in mind i think uh again it really circles back to
it doesn't i'm just being blunt about this but i think it's really important to be kind of
candid about these things is again it just comes to mind that that um the decks i was talking about
earlier yeah i don't want to i don't want to name them because i'm not i don't i'm not here to name in shame or anything like that but their new decks they have done really well in some ways
they've hit some huge numbers i'm talking like billion dollars i think of trading volume you
know um but their chart is just terrible terrible i mean it's actually one of the worst charts i've
ever seen i mean you know it's down like 99% in a year.
I mean, and to an outsider looking in, if you look at that, what do you think?
Okay, the insiders, the people and participants and stuff, they know kind of more of the story.
I mean, they're still hurt by it.
Doesn't mean they're not hurt by it.
Maybe they got, again, double the coins.
I don't even think they got that much, you know?
But I mean
some people who maybe are working the system are doing better than others but the point of it is
yes maybe to an insider it might be kind of okay ish but to an outsider looking in what they see
is they see a chart that's been brutalized and they see like and there is some degree of a token
being tied to a project you know regardless
of which you know you believe in a project a lot of times what's the way you get in you buy the
token right that's kind of what the what the mo is if you if you want to have a piece of the project
right or whatever so i mean we're not really buying a lot of most people aren't buying equity
of projects it happens i mean i really haven't bought equity of many projects in crypto i don't think most people are the token is your is your route to exposure so if you buy that token
and uh uh and you and then you just get demolished on that then you're not happy you know whereas on
the other hand if you bought a token and uh and it performs well, man, I think people in crypto are some of the most evangelist sort of people.
People want a winner.
I talked about that before.
People want a winner.
People want to feel like they made a good choice.
They want to feel like they're smart and they want to feel like they made a good choice is really the best way to put it
and i i i gotta say tommy sometimes we don't know what to feel and and that's why leadership
is where where it is because you all gotta still build through the tough times it is it's amazing
to hear you talk about part of what we go through day to day internally as far as what's been going on with crypto the last five years.
It's been tough.
And it's been so tough.
And to still have faith and hope and a conviction for a project.
We all got ours.
We all got ours.
We all know what our bags look like.
But Tommy, you're hitting on something that's near and dear to our hearts because we believe that there's a reason when it comes down like that a lot of times, not a lot, but sometimes I think it's strategic.
I think it's strategic for the longevity of a project. Because look at
this market. If your token is doing really fucking well at a time like this, it's going to be red
flags for me. It really is. I need to know why aren't we're seeing this project go through what
we see all of the rest of the market go through that's not in our control.
So that right there is going to be a red flag for me.
I'm going to be like, okay, well, they must not be selling.
There must not be enough supply.
Who owns most?
Listen, it leads to questions that otherwise probably wouldn't be asked so quickly. But at the same time, there are strategies as far as, you know, making sure a project can extend itself.
Like you said, you all had to cut back and really, you know, remove a lot of that overhead because it is tough to be a business or a project in crypto today.
And the energy and emotions that you talk about, those are old.
They don't fit with today.
They don't go with what's happening in the current
state of things, but we all got that. We all can remember. And that's what we're holding on to. If
you was part of a board run before, if you was in the beginning on a tail end, even if you didn't
pull or extract a lot, that experience is still there with us. So again, I think a lot of times when a token come down that far, sometimes it's strategic.
I think projects do be selling it off to keep infrastructure, to keep business and keep the lights going.
I don't think they're really transparent.
I don't think they can be so transparent.
But a lot of the times, I just see good projects knows how to manage their treasury.
That's another big one, you all.
Knowing how to manage the treasury outside of tokenomics, outside of security, managing the treasury is just as vital.
Yeah, very much so.
Yeah, you hit on a lot of points there.
I'm trying to think of which one to jump on.
Let me see if someone else wants to chime in here.
If not, I'll pick up one of the...
Tommy, I would like to say just something very quickly.
That is true.
Running lean is important when you have no or low liquidity.
The long game looks even better. It sounds better. It just makes sense. Because, you know,
the Shiva Sequoia 4 is how we start out. If you're running a project, I don't care what project
you're running. You have to have some type of liquidity. You have to have some type of backing,
some type of community. Community is so important that you can't overlook the community because,
again, during these hard times, this is where your community will help hold you up because you
band together. And like you said, Rugrats, sometimes it's strategic to make people work
together, to make people understand that no one is one island by themselves. And so we truly do
need each other.
And so how we're going to make it through this and then onboard the next millions and billions
of people is that we have to start here first. So I will say just to pick up on that one,
having no low liquidity and even having my own project here in Charlotte, North Carolina,
it has been tough, but we still stay the course.
Have I been wanting to give up every now and then?
Absolutely.
But we're staying the course and we're going to be here.
Is it going to be tough?
But as long as we have projects, we're out here boots on the ground.
We can help introduce projects, but we don't want ones that are, you know, scammy or anything like that.
So it's great when people who are boots on the ground meet projects like GMI and invest, and then we can learn how to share. But first, we have to learn
and understand the project in order to be able to share it with others. So I think we're at a
great starting point and bringing other people into the space to feel safe to invest and teach
them. So thank Mark for the office hours to be able just to share with new investors or people
who want to invest into GMI and the liquidity bonds, just having that open session for the
community Monday through, I do believe he said Saturday, where people can come in and ask
questions. It's huge. This is really big because it's inclusive and it helps everybody learn.
So thank you for bringing that up.
And I'll pass it over to Tommy.
Hopefully he didn't forget anything.
Yeah, good stuff, Gabby.
Let me just circle it back to the original point I was making, which is if you can build
something in such a way where you give the incentives or bribes, whatever you want to
call it, I think incentives is a nicer,
better way of putting it, basically.
But you got to incentivize people
because they don't want to do it for free.
That's another thing you learn.
Like you can ask for so much goodwill,
but people want an incentive.
Whatever they're getting,
people want to be rewarded
for what they're doing.
Okay, that's another one
of those like rules you learn, right?
Which makes sense.
So if you can incentivize people
to participate
and do so in a way that doesn't hurt your token, that's the key thing I really want to point out,
which is really important, is you need to give incentives in a way that don't crush your token.
That's a huge, huge, huge, huge lesson that more projects need to learn. And I'm talking
billion-dollar protocols all the way up and down the chain, okay?
Billion-dollar protocols, tiny protocols, they all need to learn that,
that you got to be able to give incentives in a way that doesn't hurt your token.
And if you can do that successfully and then prevent that sell pressure and otherwise have good tokenomics,
that, I think, is the recipe for success.
So anyway, you guys know that's what our intention is,
and that's the path we're on.
And yeah, I'm excited for people to be involved in a protocol
where they're having fun participating.
They see the value behind it and, and this is super critical,
and they're winning financially because you got to win financially too.
That's really, I think, which if you put that in your side, I mean, we're talking about recipes for success.
I'm not talking about a little bit of success.
I'm talking about great success, you know, to have greatness, like legendary greatness.
This is what you need.
And this is what I'm trying to do.
It's an uncharted path.
You know, that's the path we're going.
Are you all seeing the traction that you're wanting to see, Tommy?
Have you all been able to, is the cost still pretty high to, you know, obtain customers?
I don't know what they, I can't recall the name of that metric but how how has that been for you all uh great question um no actually the we've been experimenting with that right so like we have kind of a elite generation angle going on and that's us like
messaging like 100 projects a day and that that does yield results. I think of the analogy like
fishing, right? We get some fish on the line here and there. But really, the angle that's been
really, really good, again, which I'm so excited for, is that BD angle, the business development
angle. And that would be probably the highlight that I would mention to you guys who want to know
what's going on with us today. that's really the avenue we're pushing.
I talked to Mark about this. Mark knows this is what I tell him.
We do an energy allocation, like how much time and energy we're putting toward different things in the company at various points.
this is like 80% energy allocation for both him and me.
This is like 80% energy allocation for both him and me.
this is where energy is going right now is to getting these,
getting the BD engine running.
And I mean,
it really was just the past week we've,
we now have several people.
we fired that up this past week.
We got several people in the,
in the channel and we have some good BDs in there.
They're finding projects like good projects and kind of our target projects. We're not going people in the channel, and we have some good BDs, and they're finding projects, like good projects,
and kind of our target projects.
We're not going after like a – I mean, I'm still open to massive partnerships,
but really our bread and butter is going to be kind of mid-tier projects.
I'm talking like 10 to 100 million market cap range.
That's kind of like our main target market.
So like at like mid-level projects that are, um, struggling with the same problems that
everyone else has.
Um, you know, but again, everyone's, this is a beautiful thing in this market.
Everyone is feeling the pain point that we solve.
You know, there's so many projects.
How, how easy is it for a project to want to come in and create a bond?
Let's say they wanted to create a
bond with their own token does that need any type of onboarding or anything or can they launch that
themselves on you all's platform we have to do it it's kind of like think of it like an exchange
listing right like if you want to be on a big exchange um you can't just do it yourself you
need an exchange listing right so it's the same
sort of thing that's a good way to think about it is it requires some smart contract work on our end
and then you know the does it does it require needing to have a a verbal conversation oh yeah
or it does just because i i wonder i wonder could that be smoothing out a bit? You know, let's say I got a ton.
You know, a lot of the times people just get bored and they're wanting to do things with their ton rather than it just sits.
So let's just say, for example, I want to pair up 10,000 bone with GMI on the platform to create that bond.
on on the platform to create that bond i think it it should be a little less fiction for me to
want to come use my token and create that bond but but again of course that would be input but
that's how i look at it i would like to have that opportunity to use you know tokens that i use that
that's in my wallet you know good projects and i want want to come, come do that. The reason, and I think that's
good for the business as well, because I think it's about overall TVL. What is the total value
locked on GMI? I think, you know, just removing that friction a little bit can go a long way.
No, that, that is actually a very powerful idea regret and i've thought of that as well too
and i will think on that more um my biggest concern with that avenue is like it pretty
much opens the door for a potential like scam project to not not if it's a good vetting i think
if you all got a good thinking through as far as the vetting even if it's just easy to come to the site
the token is in their wallet um the contract can pull you and then on the back end you all can do
whatever you need as far as certain checks and balances hey i can do all of that you know uh
yes he was saying kind of like whitelist like sure yeah yeah i think or you just whitelist, like certain tokens? Yeah, yeah, I think. Or you just whitelist and, hey, this project is whitelisted.
That project is white.
I think just removing the friction and say, man, I just want to –
I'm just tired of my tokens just sitting here.
Let me go earn some GMI or something rather than it just sitting in my wallet.
Yeah, that is actually a really potent idea.
Thanks for that, Robert.
I'll reflect on that.
Yeah, I kind of thought of some of those lines but
you kind of helped me see i think that'll help i think that'll help your platform tvl grow just as
fast as you know instead of just waiting for gmi to go up you got other ways of growing that tvl on
the platform yeah and what i love about that is that would be very like, yeah, anyone can just come and do it. I do like that. I do like that. I will reflect on that and see what goes into that technically.
That's a potent idea. Yeah, go ahead, Gabby. Yeah, thank you, Tommy. And thank you,
Regra, for that discussion. I know we, I've been trying to pull Paul up here for quite some time,
and I do want to give him the opportunity. And it seems like we're going to have to have a part two because we only had one of the questions answered and we have quite a few more questions.
And I think this is so important that we'll have a part two for next time.
And I'm sure Tommy and Mark will probably want to meet up if it needs to be sooner or later to continue this conversation. And I know we have it once a month, but if they so choose and would like to have this discussion continued quicker than a month,
we can do that as well. But I wanted to go over to Paul because Paul has been patiently trying
to get up here and we've been trying to bring him up here. So I wanted to say hi, Paul. Thank
you for coming up. I know we don't have much time left, but if we could have you speak and let us know what you do,
how you're doing, and you've been watching GMI for quite some time.
Hi, Gabi, GM, GM everyone, and thanks for having me here once again. So I appreciate you, Gabi,
and I've been trying to join the space since like i've been trying to like come up
to speak but i think my network is like somehow bad but yeah i appreciate you like bringing me
here and jmjm everyone uh tommy and drug grads drug grads have been dropping a lot of like
you know infos and a lot of alphas and a lot of like way um gm you can move forward and you know i feel you man
love that and mark also gmg man so um you said what i do so um i'm a business developer for
um victuals global and bloxify so um victuals global is uh i don't know you may have heard about them or you know you may have seen them
on your timeline and um so what we do at victus is we we do investments we do our market making
we do um advisory and you know and the like so but our investments comes through like structured OTC. It's mainly done through OTC, but not like
the traditional like regular, you know, dump and pump action. So and for Bloxify, Bloxify
is a dollar company for all victors. So what we is um we we are a b2b aggregator platforms
and liquidity provider and um we mainly focus on on-ramp and off-ramp aggregation so um but
right now energy and um gmi they don't they don't need blocks to fight I don't know maybe in the future if it's something
they are looking up to but I was here because I've been following up on what I've been following
up on energy and the the discussion about investments and you know the whole investment
stuff and the chart and stuff like that so and I've been following up on energy for some quite now.
And I've been trying to like reach out to the team
and, you know, share some like info from our team to the team.
So I'm really, really happy to be here.
And I just want to drop something on GMI
because Rugrat was talking something about incentives and stuff so I think right now
most of the retention from GMI is incentive driven which are mostly a drops and referrals
and stuff like that but those actually bring users temporarily to the platform what what makes people really stay on on an ecosystem
on a chain is habit loops you know daily actions that feel rewarding even without paying you know
you know when when you can go to a platform where you you feel like oh you know, you like the design, you like the way the ecosystem is built,
you know, you like playing with it.
Raga was saying something about, like, people getting bored,
you know, like, people get bored
and they want to do things with their coins or with their tokens.
So, you know, right now,
I feel like the retention strategy of GMI right now is mostly incentive driven.
And they need to, like, you know, find something that is going to bring people back to keep using their platform.
They need to come for identity.
They need, like, you know, profiles, achievement, you know, social proof.
profiles, achievement, and, you know, social proof, something like creator badges, trader levels,
public performance dashboards, you know, that can bring people back, not because of the transactions,
for, or just because, you know, they have an identity, they can, you know, they can have
something like, you know, an identity that they can, you they can have something like you know an identity that they can
you want to say something i just want to say y'all know what he's talking about right
the karma system do y'all know what the karma system is
yo no have y'all have y'all heard about the karma system yeah i've heard about karma system but
it is about engagement.
I think you're right, because look,
the more you engage, you might get better rates.
You may get a better APY.
You may get better loan rates.
The next bond you do, you may get more incentive.
The more engagement you do,
the better the platform incentivizes its community.
And that's exactly right, Rugrat.
But when they did change those
karma points, I'm going to say I was a little mad,
I know what you mean.
Yeah, and Paul, go ahead. Yeah, because that's what you mean. Yeah. And Paul, go ahead.
Yeah, because that's what you're alluding to.
And you and Rugrat were on the same page.
But Paul, if you wanted to finish up and if you had a different question for Tommy or Mark.
So, yeah, I'm not going to, like, take up your time.
So I'm just, like, like, like, like Rugrat was saying, you know, something that keeps people coming,
like that keeps people, you know, engaging and using the platform more and more.
So, and I think they have, I've not been seeing GMI's content,
like on, on the TL, like, I'm not going to like,
I'm just hearing about gmi on this space so i think
the the lack heavily on this aspect they there's no content there's no like you know they need a
field they need alphas people that post alphas about them collection strategies how to use the
platform what they got from the platform, you know, like reviews.
Like, actually, GMI is strong.
Like, I was able to look up some few things about them,
why this space was going up.
And I feel like it's a great aspect,
bringing Defy and NFT together.
So, but, you know, they lack heavily on content.
They are also like, they need lack heavily on content they are also like they need to
have their content out there you know and making feeds and um making like having people post about
them post about their review of the platform how it is like making daily content and um yeah that that's all for now on that so yeah it's it's good for the
um the the good part about the drop and stuff is it's gonna bring in people it's gonna bring in
users but they are just gonna be there for you know for the incentive like like tommy was saying
earlier incentive is just like a bribe you know you're bribing them to use this because
they are gonna get this and at the end of the day they are gonna be dumping on on the on the
token because they don't like they don't have that that the they don't have something to hook
them in something they they love to you know do on the platform they're just doing it because you
know oh i'm gonna get rewarded for the or for for this i'm doing like you know the airdrop and stuff so incentive bring users
in boards you know identity and community and um these habits loops i will make them stay so if
if jmi can you know work on these three like the retention, I feel the retention is going to solve itself. So, yeah.
And if I can just say this last part, I know we're about to end it out.
I just want to piggyback off of what he's saying, but Tommy,
just want to say, you know, another great way that I've seen, you know,
you know help is being being part of the development community meaning like zama zama
help is being, being part of the development community,
has been holding um workshops things of that sort that that's a good opportunity um defy is one of
the gmi is in such a sweet um part of crypto um that right now that the part that gmi is in is getting the most attention
is getting the most developer attention is getting the most um venture capital like gm and they have
a platform that you all i hope you know outside of it being a production environment i'm hoping
you all gotta you know post-production or pre-production
that you all can use in and tinker with and play around with and and be part of these um these
developer opportunities to use zama you know people when they see trust a lot of the times they just
follow where the trust is don't even know about product. So that's just another avenue as far as just getting GMI out there and the platform and just building up that TVL and, you know, the overall value of not just the token.
This is bigger than a token.
I know we talk about GMI, but the platform itself has value.
I don't know if Tommy wanted to respond to that
Tommy I'm still I'm still just like think processing and thinking about it. Yeah. Oh
I'm so sorry
Yeah, so i saw um lp bones on like gmi platform
and stuff so i i wanted to ask like with the help people's being you know core parts of their
ecosystem like as your plans to like make to gamified it or to make that experience more interactive so like users can stay engaged
beyond like just the yield yeah i mean i don't know if you saw our airdrop platform um i would
welcome your thoughts on that that's uh you know we're on pretty much like version three
of that airdrop platform that's our incentive engine per se you know so um and i think we're incentivizing it's not it's not perfect and
there's still things that i've been kind of playing around things we could add to it or
you know we we removed some stuff from it recently to tighten it up but i mean i think it's all about
having a good incentive engine that people like engaging with um i think that's a big part of it.
So, you know, as we get,
we have had like decent participation on it for what our community size is.
Like it's rolling.
It's not an enormous amount of activity.
That's because our platform
doesn't have enormous activity yet.
But as it kind of grows,
we'll definitely improve and upgrade that system.
We have the runway for it.
We have the coin set aside for the airdrop.
We've only given out less than 20% of what we set aside for the airdrop,
so we still have 80% over that left.
So there's still a lot left.
And as things continue to roll and we continue to gain momentum,
eventually I want to give all that out. as things continue to roll and we continue to gain momentum, eventually,
eventually I want to give all that out.
So we got plenty of runway to do that with.
Good question.
Check it out.
Check out the airdrop thing.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
Okay. Thank you.
you want to say something?
no. If you want to finish up if
you have another question i know we'll be getting ready to close down here shortly but um go ahead
paul yeah um that's my main question for now so i will be joining more of the space more from now so
and um i i really like it here i really like it it's great to be here and um
I really like it here.
I really like it here.
It's great to be here.
And Rugrat was talking about venture capitals.
And I think I forgot to add that Victus Global is a venture capital.
We are VCFM, actually.
So, like, in case maybe you want to, like, have any conversation regarding VCs
or how we can come into EPP.
You know, if you go to our profile, like our HEX profile,
you can see a lot of projects we've partnered with, a lot of projects we've helped scale.
So we've helped over 80 plus projects to scale in terms of marketing, growth, odds, investments, market making, helping the child looking stable and
stuff like deploying stuff.
So if I sent something to you, Tommy, in DM regarding this.
So if it's anything you want to explore, so we can talk more about it in DM.
And yeah, thanks for now.
That's all.
Thanks, Gabby.
Thanks for that.
Thanks for joining us.
And by the way, Gabby, before we wind down, I see, does Martin want to speak?
Martin, you jumped on the space.
I know he did speak earlier during the early part of the morning, but Martin, if you're there, if you have any thoughts or have any questions.
And that's okay with you.
Okay, there you go.
Okay. that's okay okay there you go okay all right so um i actually want to contribute concerning the
aspects of having more content i think i need to agree with paul on that as well so there's a need
to have like um more contents for what we are building so that with that it will give us more visibility and attract more users.
For example, I think last time, that was a year ago,
I was actually belonging to a community that we actually promote
most of the crypto, any product that is launched on the crypto space.
We just kind of post it maybe in the morning, in the evening,
you know, depending on on how just make it
context and kind of have some leadership board where you see more people that creates more
realistic content so i think if we bring that kind of idea into the ecosystem it's actually
make people to know um how lp bond works and how they can meet the born and all that.
So I think that is what I have to contribute in terms of building that feasibility, user
retention and the rest. So I think that's my contribution here.
Right. Thank you so much. Go ahead, Tommy. I was just saying, yeah, I appreciate that,
Martin. I appreciate your support too. That's just what I want to say. Go ahead, Tommy. I was just saying, yeah, I appreciate that, Martin. I appreciate your support too.
That's just what I want to say.
Go ahead, Gabby.
No, I was going to say, that's really fun.
When you see new content come out, because I thought of an idea and I was like, okay.
But, you know, I've seen people reward others for, you know, making some content that they would like to use and have a little contest.
And I think that is so important. So if you're a content creator, there's space, you know, making some content that they would like to use and have a little contest. And I think that is so important.
So if you're a content creator, there's space for you.
You know, you're a business development or developer.
There's a space for you, you know, being creative in this space.
And this has been really enlightening.
Very good information here for today.
And what I took away from Paul, Paul, I'm thinking community identity that compounds daily
through activity. I just, you know, just taking some of your words and just kind of running them
through my brain and saying, you know what that does, you know, from what Red Rat and what Tommy
has talked about, you know, from what Martin just mentioned and what Calvin mentioned. There's so
many opportunities and I know probably Tommy is noodling over it right now. But honestly, we haven't even gotten through all the questions.
We asked one out of five different questions that we have.
And so we will bring this back up again because it is important.
And we're seeing how important it is now that we're having these incentive discussions
and how to make it, you know, make it better, make it easier for the user
to incorporate new things and new ideas.
So if you want to reach out, you can always reach out through Discord, through a personal DM, as Tommy's DMs are open.
But I know we're getting ready to close down the space here.
And as a respect for everyone's time, we will be back again, I would like to say next month, but if Tommy and Mark see fit that we should bring it back sooner, because this is a great discussion, we welcome that and would love to have those spaces. But we will leave that up to the developers as they are sharing the information in this space along with us, and they're very busy.
very busy. So we thank them for being here. We thank the community for coming out, giving ideas,
sharing ideas to have our developers think a little differently and to give them ideas to
to run with and play with as well. So with that being said, I like to go around and just get some
kind of final thoughts from, you know, everyone. I know we heard from Paul and we heard from Martin,
but like to regret if are there any final or closing thoughts that you would like.
I'm inviting Solzakia, but he hasn't been able to come up as of yet.
But before we do that, any final thoughts, regret?
Are you speaking, Rugrat?
I can't hear you.
I think Rugrat is actually Rugit.
That's kind of funny.
Rugrats, you're rugging, bro.
Well, we'll try to get him back.
If not, we'll continue to go around.
That was funny. That was funny. I did hear that.
But no, I just wanted to say, you know what?
This is to, you know,
the community and project owners. I don't know if we're over the hump yet.
We still could have such a long, you know, a tough road ahead.
I think we're all looking for longevity from the community perspective and from
the project perspective, but I'm, I'm wishing everyone abundance.
Thank you for letting me up.
Thank you, Regret. regret well we'll go over
to uh mark and then we'll have tommy have uh the last yeah uh yeah sorry sir i i just sort of like
uh i'm gonna believe in since uh i just want to talk about the um jmi like yeah they actually
have a good product like you know they multi-chain nfc marketplace like
and you know stuff like the zero fees and uh the refundable means and stuff like that like that
that's a solid product because you know they are thinking about creator um making growth
driven like um ecosystem and like, and that's something great.
You don't really have something like that in the space right now.
There are a lot of Yings platform, a lot of aggregators, decks, and stuff,
but there's something solid.
But if they can just work more on you know pushing out their their products and also try to find something to make
to retain the users don't you know not only about you know incentives and stuff you know
like i said earlier incentive is just for it's just gonna bring like temporary users to the
platform so they need to like work on something that's
gonna like you know because they you are i ain't gonna like like you all are building a solid
product like it's it's actually nice and i'm i'm gonna try to like see if i can play around
and see how the platform really really works myself so yeah yeah thanks that that's all for now so yeah i'm gonna believe in since yeah told me i i i
i got your message so i'm gonna give you a reply soon yeah thanks you all for having me here i
appreciate the love and you know everything thank you paul have safe travels wherever you are and
make sure you come back again we'll be here again so just make sure you're following the main account and uh we'll pass the mic over to mark
and then tommy for the final thought and then sozaki will play us out mark you have any
yeah um so if you're listening to this spaces and we'll make uh some minor announcements too
you can hop on over to our discord anytime uh the link is in the
energy uh if you go to the energy bio and you go to our website energy.world um you will have that
discord link at the very bottom uh with the icon so we have office hours every monday to saturday
Monday to Saturday, 12 noon Eastern time till 1 p.m.
So one hour of office hours.
Come hang by in our voice chat on the energy stages.
And if you have any questions or anything, any suggestions for the platform, please do that.
I do want to emphasize something which is it's very
unique what we are building here and has a long-term repercussions right so if
you come back after a year you're gonna see more results you're not gonna see
unless we really go back to the stone it's hell which at that point of time we
won't even have internet but if you go to our stats page gonna make it dot-com
forward slash stats and you look at those those charts TVL it's going in one
direction and what that means is is say if I'm a project and I start and I have
even a small community of save 50 60 people right and I
come and partner with GMI and I'm very honest and you know I'm building good good infrastructure
for my project you know and kind of capitalizing on the three values that you know the LP bonds offer which is you know
increasing the demand of my token reducing the sell pressure and creating a good sticky liquidity
for my project I can start from year one and I can keep building for the next three years and I can
have decent amount of liquidity for a small project like mine you know 50 60 70 thousand dollars
worth of liquidity uh that that is if i even finish it up building after seven three years
that's 17 years of strong liquidity and what it will do in turn is it will give it will invite
good traders to my platform um and uh they can they can get um access to the tokens
without the slippage with with enormous slippage or like you know the liquidity going to like 1k or
2k i don't have to worry about that so even if i'm building slowly the next 17 years build a huge
big ramp for a product for for like the token project for my as I gave you an
example like if I'm even the smallest token project and very serious about
building and even have a very focused small action driven community and you
know as all goes like you know GMI becomes the central hub for a lot of tokens, right? So if I go, if I were to buy, if I had GMI, right?
And if I were to get say Z token from another community,
right, it just becomes like a hub, right?
So if you have multiple projects, which we have right now,
our liquidity is over 100k um no sorry
the tbl is over 100k um you can go look at the stat page it's growing up this is completely zero
we see money this is completely built on the backbone of the team the initial liquidity we
did a pretty g as well and shout out to our like you know community members it's their liquidity and it's there like this is this is what we have built and our
building and are improvising every day and it's there right it's staring right
in front of you like it's and and the funny part is like we are and like I've
been in like I've seen crypto since like 2019 um and i can tell you like this is the most worst
i've ever seen because you know we've reached to the point of exhaustions of like you know different
you know the liquidity extraction from retail investors has been worse and that's why you don't
see the charts also uh you know know going up instead of it's
going in the other other trend but that liquidity is going to be there go and
look at our liquidity with on a chain very strong liquidity there so this is
something that if you guys sit down and understand that you know that liquidity
is there for the next 20 years you're building a solid project
like even if you have the smallest project a $50,000 liquidity in such
times like as I'm talking to you as of it today like I've never seen such worse
time for crypto market it's gonna be really beneficial for you and all you
have to do it just build a good community and come partner with GMI that's
all that's happening.
And then we do the heavy lifting.
We manage the tech and, you know, we are building liquidity for you, you know, and the community is always there.
The support is always there for the users, for the community.
If they have any problems minting the bond or, like, you know, not understanding that whole, we have those office hours.
They can come around.
The incentive engine is there. we build those incentive engines um so everything is right
in the place yeah uh that's all for me gabby thank you mark and thank you for what you do
um all the heavy lifting that you and tommy and the rest of the team, do we thank you for making using GMI safe and energy, the ecosystem being safe and taking the consideration of the community members into consideration when suggestions are made.
And Tommy, last words.
No, I think overall it's been a great space.
Guys, thank you all for joining.
Thank you for your feedback and thoughts and all that.
That was some really good food for thought.
And yeah, no, great space.
As far as the frequency, I think let's keep it at once a month.
It's just a good flow, but we are going to have pop-up spaces,
kind of like we did with the Ape Chain one and other spaces.
So just keep your eye out for those announcements.
We try to give you guys as much heads up as possible you know at least a couple days heads
up so you're aware you know if you check the check they're gonna make it account um
out there um well i guess like unofficially you know i don't know we need to like look at like
kind of like dialing in like a more official ambassador program.
It's kind of, it's kind of fell on the wayside, but what do you, how do you mean exactly?
I think that now that the, you know, that the project is shifting to sales, I think having, you know, a few ambassadors, meaning they're y'all talking heads.
And they're y'all talking heads.
They're the ones that's out there on the ground floor, you know, wanting to hop into X spaces, wanting to, you know, get the word out there.
That's what ambassadors do.
They're here to, you know, vouch, promote, market, and discuss GMI.
Well said.
Yeah, we have, like, I guess, unofficial ambassadors.
Like, we kind of like have our internal, like the, yeah, the thing of it,
like they help doing our testing. They help doing a lot of things.
We call them our MVPs. So yeah, we kind of have that, but not like officially, but yeah. But if you ever want to do that Rugrat, you're also welcome to join.
But yeah, I think, I think it's all about just people wanting to be a part of it
and you kind of naturally doing it, you know,
and then, like, kind of people naturally do it
and you naturally kind of coalesce the team
and give them the tools and support stuff.
That's kind of what we currently do.
Thank you, Tom.
Yeah, thank you.
Well, thank you, guys. Yeah, David here Thank you, Tom. Cool. Yeah, thank you. All right, well, thank you guys.
Yeah, David here is one of them.
He's here in the audience.
Shout out to you, David.
You're the man.
Thank you for all your support and love and care over the years.
I really appreciate you.
And I appreciate everyone.
Oxo there, too.
Everyone who's been Martin, Rugrat, rugrat calvin so lezaki of course
so lezaki would definitely be uh in that league as well gabby mark you guys are awesome appreciate
you guys we got a great circle here so excited for this year ahead um we got our work cut out
for us and most importantly coming from the mentality and frame of helping other people, which is really the core.
That's the truth.
And that's the energy we want to come from, you know, to help other projects solve their pain points.
That's what we built, what we did.
And that's what we can help them with.
So thank you guys all.
Have a great rest of your weekend.
And I'll see you on the next one.
All right. So, Zachary. you guys all have a great rest of your weekend and i'll see you on the next one all right so zaki that's cute we can't do it you can't yeah Oh
