Looks like we had a huge amount of expiring offers just come through finally.
It was kind of giving me a little bit of grief.
It was well past midnight, but I guess it took it a minute.
But, yeah, if you look at Dexie's recent trades and check the cancel button for go from APFPs,
you'll see it looks like everything has expired so the next step
sorry this is kind of all real time and then we'll get into the actual uh event uh we should
see very soon now uh in the on the go for me website on the q tab we've got two so far but

The times on the queue, it says eight hours as I'm getting into it. The time I need to update
on the website. That's actually going to be wrong now because of the new schedule. So
everything is looking good there. Let's get into it. So a quick description for
anybody who'd missed my earlier tweet. Welcome to Labor Day officially for me in the Central
Time Zone anyway. It's after midnight now. We're into the U.S. holiday of Labor Day.
I want to do maybe these special events maybe up to once a month, whether it's a holiday or a community event or something fun.
And this just kind of happened to be the first holiday or event that happened to coincide with this idea.
So here we are.
What we're doing is all of the current offers that were out there for Gophers have expired at this point.

I was able to over, basically two or three days ago,
I set all of the, as I was creating offers,
I set the expiration time dynamically to,
so they would all expire at this exact moment,
which it looks like they all just did.
So that's good news.
It looks like Dexi didn't crash.
It looks like my web server didn't crash
seeing 1300 or so expired offers all at once so that's good news by the way footnote this is kind of also a stress test of this whole system just because it's been running for about
a month now but it's you know let's let's test it let's push the gas let's see how fast we can go
so part of this event is going to be much faster minting.
Up to now, I've pretty much held off at one mint per minute,
regardless of how full the queue is.
But in my testing, we were able to go much faster with Aceville's amazing dynamic minting service,
just creating the dynamic offer rather than actually minting the
nft so you know it's not minted until you accept the offer file but that allows a lot faster
performance on the back end with the apis and and it makes a really interesting um uh i think unique
to chia for sure because we can do if you about it, all these offers that we're about to create don't exist on chain anywhere. And so they can expire and get regenerated. And
until someone actually accepts the offer and mints the NFT, the blockchain doesn't even know about
it. So it's a really neat system, great for performance and decentralization, of course.
And we're going to really kind of stress test that over the next 24 hours. So instead of one per minute, we're going to do one every 10 seconds.
That's six times faster, six X faster than normal.
One every 10 seconds will pop out of this thing.
All the offers expired, so that would have a nice long queue.
So we've got over 1,300, I think.
Actually, let me check the number real quick to give everybody an accurate count.
So I have a little thing here.
Oh, 1369.
That's a very interesting number
because it's like all threes.
1369 unique gophers in the queue
that will be regenerated starting very soon now,
regenerated starting very soon now as soon as I push the button. So one every 10 seconds will pop
as soon as I push the button.
out. They will also expire in four hours. So at this rate, it will take almost four hours to get
through the first set of 1,369 Gophers. So it will be four hours from expiration
for each one of those.
So if the offer is not accepted,
it will expire anyway after four hours
and be put back into the queue to be regenerated
with a lower price, by the way,
just like the normal rules in G4M token.
And so the prices should go down quickly
if there are no purchasers of some of the other ones.
The other interesting thing about this is that it will naturally limit the unique, how many copies of any PFP will only be able to be minted about six to seven times
over this 24-hour period just because of the way the queue works.
So whether they are accepted or expired, they have to go to the back of the queue to be
regenerated.
And again, that's only every four hours or so at best possible rates.
But long story short, even if nobody buys a single gopher,
the queue will be full all day and be spitting out a new gopher every 10 seconds on Dexy.
So we are going to have a lot of fun and stress test this thing and see how it goes.
The other thing I don't think I've mentioned yet is the special attributes.
So all gophers up to this point, as you know, have the badge,
which is what you use to calculate your badge score, and it has the different icons.
These gophers will have an extra trait in the metadata called, I was going to call it holiday, but I've decided to call it special event because it might not be a holiday necessarily.
So there's a special trait in the metadata called special event.
And for these, over 24 hours, it will be set to
Labor Day 2025. If you're going forward, if your gopher has a special event trait of anything,
it will get counted double badge score. So whatever the badge score it has will actually
get counted twice in airdrop and weights in the future with staking and all
that fun stuff. So these are basically worth double points if you think about it that way,
regardless of what the badge is. So should be fun collecting these. And then again, once the
queue stretches past midnight tomorrow night, here in 24 hours or so, 20 hours maybe, we
will go back to the normal minting.
So any offers that are not taken in this 24 hours will expire at 24 hours from now, next
midnight, and the event will be over.
So this is a one-time thing to collect these special holiday
traits to get double badge points. Also, by the way, the Gopher icon in the
lower right of the PFP that normally just has a little Gopher Me logo, you'll
see it'll have kind of a special. It's the one I posted earlier I tweeted out.
He's got a little hard hat and a bandana and it kind of looks like a construction worker and it says Labor Day 2025 on it so it's
a visual a little bit of a visual distinction as well to give these
special gophers a little bit of a standout so that is pretty much it I am
definitely thankful gooey you can definitely jump in anytime sorry I've
been no this is amazing information.

Yeah so So the main thing is for the next 24 hours, we are creating offers one every 10 seconds instead of one every minute like normal out of the queue.

and my original go for me I don't know it's my wallet. That's the only place I see it. The second GoFundMe shows up on the GoFundMe site.
And somehow they're both attached, I guess. I don't know.
I don't know what's going on there, but I do have two GoFundMe's.

so at first I was naive and I just said, okay, whenever your PFP on X changes, I will update your gopher.

The problem is people started putting their gophers as their PFPs on X and that made like this round, this loop that uh not necessarily a loop that's what you were
talking okay so i guess i'm not retarded i just changed my pfp and it made a new go for me of
that i didn't put my go that that may have been early on yeah because yeah i was doing that and
that was naive of me because then people made their, like I said, they made their gopher PFP on their ex-PFP.
And now I made a new gopher from their gopher.
And it was just like, that didn't make any sense.
So it needs to be more like specific.
ADI gopher inbred screaming.
We had clones of gophers.
So, yeah, it needs to be more specific from the user. The user needs to like ask for it
specifically somehow. So you're telling me nobody has had an original gopher PFP before making a
gopher me PFP? That's interesting. Well, so what I've been doing in the meantime is as people ask
me either via tweeting it or whatever, I can go and actually just mark your PFP to get regenerated in my database manually for now.
So that is what I've been doing.
And I will soon make that automatic again by making it.
So we've got the Wallet Connect integration working on the website now for Go4Me.
Go4Me. So pretty soon you'll be able to go to your page on the Go4Me website with the wallet
connect and prove that you own that address and that therefore you can ask for your PFP to be
regenerated. So that's the next step in making it very specific for you to ask for it. and of course that those, one of the, one of my highest expenses is asking GPT to generate those images because they're just, uh, it's, it's the best you own the account, that you own that PFP, and that you want it to be regenerated, it will basically flag your account.
And the next time somebody purchases the current one that you have out there, it will then regenerate your PFP and the new offer will be your new PFP.
The new offer will be your new PFP.
So this guarantees that there's – otherwise, I think people will just change it as many times as they can,
even between people purchasing their PFP and running down my OpenAI credits.
So this way, it only changes once your PFP actually sells once.
But then, you know, you can change it.
Otherwise, you can change it every single time it sells if you want.

Hey, Josh, I have a question for you. So I noticed something like if you check the recent trades, you see the orders coming in for pending transactions.
And you see some with different emblems like fire, snorkel, green hat, diamonds, etc.
But if you go back over to the swap or trade page and you do like
go for me's for XCH or go for me's for
G4 token, it's not moving. You don't really
see them coming in and then all of them there are
like sprouts or tractors and
stuff. Is that an indication that, you know, there's bots that are picking up the trades prior
to them being shown on Dexi? I don't know. There may very well be bots that are listening to
Dexi's web socket, which is what the technical thing going on behind the scenes here.
Dexys WebServer is basically sending out messages to people's browsers,
yours included, mine included, to say, hey, this offer is going up for sale.
It's pending.
And so if you just go to the recent trades tab and you're just watching it,
your browser is basically receiving notifications from the Dexys server
as these events happen.
Bots can listen to those events just as well as your web browser can
and then accept those offers or do whatever they want from there by just reading them.
So it's possible that those are bots.
It's also possible that it's just really fast clickers
because if you connect your wallet, Gobi or even Sage,
you can click through pretty quickly and accept offers.
Also, I have no idea how Dexi, what their caching infrastructure
or their content distribution network looks like.
But, you know, I'm just basically uploading it to their API
and then I assume they're spreading it out all over the globe,
however they do that.
So it may be that some people are closer to the server and see it faster on their web browser.
It varies.
It varies quite a bit.
And especially during high traffic events like this, it's kind of frustrating sometimes to try to get through.
But like I said, I think this is obviously, yeah,
we're seeing a lot of sales right now,
but I think this is the start of the event.
I think it will probably calm down as people go to sleep
and things like this and the queue catches up a little bit.
So the goal with one every 10 seconds
is to give everybody plenty of choices over the next 24 hours and plenty of anybody in any time zone.
Hopefully we'll have a chance to at least see new ones as they come out and pick for themselves.
Because like on Mintgarden, they don't for the Labor Day special, you know how the go for the go for me emblem on the right hand side.
They don't even have any listed on Midgarden yet for recents.
And then like on Dixie, they don't have any listed on, you know, just the trade where you put up Go4Me, XCH, or Go4Me, G4 token.

And then also, like I said, throughout the day,

At one point, I actually toyed with the idea of
basically, let's see.

so my idea was to take the top 25
tokens on to BetSwap
according to
XCH reserved, I think
is the metric, which is just
how much XCH is locked up in that
token pair.
So take the top 25 tokens
and basically randomly choose one for every single
offer that goes out. So you would just see a huge number of different, you'd see one every 10
seconds, but it would be for a completely different community token, one out of 25.

All of these things, you see see i believe that if you want
to get into a game it's the best to click the buttons and gain the experience and then while
you're doing so you learn something about economy you learn about the blockchain you have fun with
your friends and for me these are all the reasons why i want to be part of the gopher economy but
then there's also something else out there and and you were just briefly speaking about it. The GAM token, the Gopher token,
is not really a hype token that goes up 10,000x, right? You have a very interesting mechanic
implemented to keep it at one XEH for 10,000 GAMs. I think that is really cool. But
Chia has forced you, the way it works, to pair your GAM token with XCH, which is real money in my point of view.
So therefore, having a lot of betscore and getting GAM's token now gives you the ability to participate in this gopher treasury, how you call it.
So there's also the speculative aspect.

go regenerate it from the current PFP.
But in the future, what I want to do is right there on your website,
I want you to be able to use Wallet Connect and prove that you own that XCH
address through Wallet Connect.
And then basically ask the system.
Now you can say, hey, regenerate my PFP by
clicking on a button, and then Wallet Connect will pop up and say, hey, is this really your address?
And you say approve, and you prove it. And then the system knows that you're asking to update
your PFP specifically. So that's a feature that's coming. Up until I get that completely working,
I'm just kind of manually updating the database so that it regenerates those as people ask for them.
But will it solely be based on the X profile?
Yes. So for now, that is the plan.

project, but basically you could tag a bot tag of seed snap bot and it would take a scrolling
screenshot of your tweet that you tagged. So you could reply to other people's tweets or big long threads and it would capture that. So with Gopher Snap, the idea would be that you could upload any image or
basically create a tweet or a new post with any image attached to it and tag Gopher Me Bot.
And then it would Gopherize that image that you've attached,
put it on your gopher page for sale for other people to buy,
and it would be the same model.
You would get royalties on that forever.
So it would almost be like your own little mini collection
within the gopher collection of just any image you want to upload,
whether it's your own other NFT collections that you want to gopherize
or anything like that.
And these little gopher snaps would follow kind of the same logic where they'd be numbered
in a series and, you know, maybe there would be the same badge score system or something
similar to it.
I haven't, this is all still very early in my mind.
But yes, I want you, I want to give people the ability to very easily make fun little NFT mini collections within this collection, if that makes sense.
