Yeah, guys, it's true, hosting 200 episodes, sometimes it feels like Conan the Barbarian on the Wheel of Pain, but let's fucking go, everybody!
Everybody needs Apecord, let's go, baby!
Somebody to love, someone to love, sweet happiness, sugar to kiss, I need a few of you, I need a few of you, I need a few of you, I need a few of you.
In the morning, when my soul's on fire, and sometimes I feel, I feel upside down, walking every street today, I never, never, never, I don't know how to do it!
Sometimes I feel, I feel a little side of the side, when my bed on the street is made, I never, never, never, never, I don't know how to do it!
Guys, this has got to be me in Hong Kong.
It's got to be crazy.
But if you have any questions, hop into the comments.
Also say hi.
Read me the space so more people can join us.
I have a little disclaimer here.
Probably the energy will be high.
It's got to be crazy.
I just listened to the episode 100 and it was also absolutely insane.
So yeah, sorry guys, but we will have a lot of fun.
We just warm it up.
Let's go, baby.
Let's go, baby.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
Hell yeah, guys.
Let's fucking go.
Episode 201.
Let's go, baby.
GMGM, guys.
I can't believe it.
Or I actually can't believe it.
Episode 201.
What a wild ride.
So pumped for it.
It's going to be epic, guys.
I'm so excited.
And we had so much fun on this crazy journey.
We're going to be talking about it.
But I absolutely love that.
If you want to join us on stage, just hit the request button.
We get you here.
And yeah, let's go.
So I want to also ask my co-host.
I see Tino also got here from the crazy, crazy streetwear.
I don't know how you call it.
Event, actually.
Absolutely insane.
Like 10,000 people in Fittorem on stage.
Absolutely unbelievable.
So Tino, are you alive?
What's going on there?
What's up?
What's up, guys?
I love it.
I love it.
Yeah, I just connected.
I'll be back and forth.
I'll have to leave and come back.
Yeah, we're doing with my brand.
We're here.
It's called the Street Culture.
And it's pretty massive.
It's really cool.
And Infitorum is killing it because he's on the ride.
You know, like always where the culture is.
So it's cool.
It's pretty wild, though.
But it's cool.
So, man, I have to shout out to Infitorum because Tino, he spreads BAYC culture through
the town, you know, or city.
He actually plays his mutant on like most of the bridges here, most of the government
buildings here.
So, yeah, I'm not sure if he's going to make it to Hong Kong because, you know, his face
is getting popular here.
No, all within the legal, you know, like all the legal aspects and everything.
But of course, like Infitorum is a street artist.
So, yeah, why not?
Exactly, man.
Love that.
Love that.
And super excited to celebrate with all of you here, guys.
Beast, how you doing, man?
What's good today for you?
Yo, let's fucking go.
200 episodes in the books.
I'm happy for you, Tino.
It's fucking amazing.
I pinned up the tweet also so that you can, guys, check it out how Infitorum is fucking
rocking it here in Prague.
And yeah, all good.
Pumped and ready to celebrate, man.
Yeah, Tino is wild with his stickers, but it's not a sticker.
How do you call it, actually?
It's the size of like a human.
It's huge.
It has like six feet or something, right?
Yeah, I have several sizes.
I have one which is like much taller than me.
I haven't placed...
I have two of them, actually.
I haven't placed them, but I have space for it on a building that's legal, actually, because
you couldn't place like something that big illegally.
But yeah, I can't wait to have it on.
But these ones, I don't know.
It's not the stencils.
It's like something like huge stickers, but it's like plastic.
So it's cool.
Crazy, crazy.
We just talked with Tino about stickers for Hong Kong.
It's got to be wild.
Like, it's got to be thousands of stickers for all of you guys.
So whenever you see me there, you got to have a sticker on your back as you know me.
I also see Lara or Laura in the audience.
Yeah, I promised her in episode 105 that I got to learn to speak Spanish.
Oh my God.
She just sent me the snippet that I said that.
Still not there.
Still not there.
But I'll do my best.
You should have an AI voice, you know?
What's going on?
Great pull-up!
No, no cheating here, man.
You're going to learn it.
No cheating.
Actually, the caption app, you know, it also changes the movement of your mouth.
So it's kind of a cheat.
But yeah, I will try it.
I will do better.
Yeah, I can do push-ups anyway.
Also, I will circle around.
Tiger, how is it going today?
How are you doing?
What's good?
Everything's fine here, baby.
Congratulations on 200.
That is so amazing, guys.
I remember when I met you guys at Basel.
And I can't believe it's been that long already.
This is so amazing.
I'm so happy to be here with you.
Thank you so much.
Basel is so long.
Oh my God, what's happening?
But we are getting closer to another Basel.
So that's a good thing.
Oh my God, Gene just posted a photo from the brunch that we put together.
Oh, I almost started crying.
Oh my God.
So I can't wait to meet you IRL again.
So hopefully most of you guys going to Hong Kong because it's going to be insane.
Can't wait, you know.
So my energy level will be probably to the moon.
Yeah, I'm sorry for you guys.
Sorry for you, yeah.
Yeah, meeting me will be pain.
But you get used to that.
AllCity, what's good?
How you doing?
Congratulations on 200 shows.
Oh my God.
Grateful Beast.
Tino, a huge accomplishment.
You guys are bringing so much to the space.
And I'm super excited to celebrate with you today.
I appreciate you guys having us on.
And let's go.
Thank you so much for joining.
And we're not only celebrating, guys.
We're also going to be talking about AIP 317.
So be patient.
And we're going to be talking about it.
I can't wait, guys.
But before we do a little crazy things, you know.
But we definitely get there.
I also came up with a great idea.
We've never done it before.
But I will rename the space when you start talking about AIP.
So everyone who see the space.
Man, like.
It's a future of Twitter.
Innovation, bro.
Of X spaces, right?
One of my questions was like, what have you learned throughout all these episodes, right?
But I didn't expect this.
This is wildest than I thought, man.
It's crazy.
Amplify, how are you doing today?
What's good, man?
I love coming into a space like this.
There's so much energy.
Wakes me up really quick.
And we forget one thing.
You know, whenever we invite our guests, you know.
You need the intro sound.
So we started the opposite way today.
But it doesn't matter.
Let's go, everybody.
Let's go, GM.
Great full show 201.
Let's fucking go.
Let's go, guys.
We have to do some live show in Hong Kong.
It's got to be epic, you know.
Some kind of stream.
Also, if you want to join us on stage, just request that I get you here.
Oh, my God, guys.
It's so wild.
I checked my CRM or database or how we call it.
You know, I actually write everything down.
The names, people on stage, the duration of the episode, et cetera, et cetera.
The topic.
What they agreed on, what they disagreed on.
Yeah, yeah.
I have kind of like files, you know.
I also see the AIP, you know, how you voted and who you supported.
You know, I know everything, guys.
So be careful.
Be careful.
Everything's recorded.
You know, I go through the AI.
But actually, guys, do you remember episode around 100?
Like we actually started with a 21-day threat challenge, which was kind of revolution in this space, right?
Like it was absolutely insane.
We just came up with the idea.
Let's start with 21-day, you know, threat challenge.
We got to learn how to write threats.
It doesn't matter anyway because, you know, Twitter or X hates threats right now.
So no one probably does them anymore.
But back in the day, like a few years ago, it was a thing.
You know, it was a popular thing, actually.
You know, you could get a lot of followers and share a lot of valuable stuff.
So we actually started episode 102 with that.
Oh, my God.
Can you believe?
It feels like yesterday, actually.
And that was the beginning of the year, right?
It was, I think, first episode of the year.
And we started like the 2023 with this.
And I think it was really amazing because back then, like exactly, like threats were the alpha.
So whoever was posting threats on like regular basis, usually one of them caught up and stuff like that.
And it was great because we back then, like what we did, like what was the game changer?
That we put all the content creators who took part together.
Like an under one group.
And we started like connecting to them and like really supporting each other, right?
So whoever missed the day or whatever, we just put them, go the next one and stuff like that.
And it started working.
And some of the guys are actually like pretty big in the space, right?
Yeah, man.
I think they already started also their own companies, you know, just because of that.
So they will pay us royalties from there.
You know, it's kind of cool.
I love it.
Blockchain never lies.
So that's...
Zero ETH as always.
Yeah, zero ETH.
You know, like Sean, like Sean and Baron, you know, they always pay us zero ETH for the promotion.
Beast, do you want to add anything, man?
I saw you on music.
Yeah, I want to add that it was fucking epic.
I can't believe it's already, what's that, like eight months, nine months or something.
It feels like yesterday.
And it's fucking dope that like almost everyone did it, right?
We all did it.
Most of the people in the group, they also made it towards the end of the thread challenge.
And I have to say, I learned, I improved in writing.
I don't know to say I learned how to write.
It's maybe a big statement, but I definitely learned how to write better.
And what I also learned is that most of the time, it's just do it, you know?
It's just set up the schedule and write every single day and do it.
And you're just going to get better.
Man, 100%.
And, you know, when we started this show, we were like, oh, let's do it for fun, you
know, to chat with our friends, et cetera.
And we kept going.
And like, we met so many incredible people just because of the show.
Like, it's unbelievable, you know, here from Czech Republic, Prague.
We talked to everyone.
I'm just checking the database.
Like, it's funny.
Like, February 14, episode 110, we actually hosted the episode about BAYC documentary.
You know, we knew what's going to happen and what did happen.
The AIP passed and we got to have a documentary soon, Q4.
So, so many amazing guests and so many amazing, amazing memories.
Like, Dino, I'll start with you.
What's the, like, the biggest, I don't know, thing, event, memory, whatever happened through
the 100 episodes or fuck ups?
I mean, the beginning was amazing because it was just, you know, like us chatting about
like a bunch of DGN stuff and like, you know, DGNing and stuff like that.
Then I think the first kind of milestone was after NFT NYC when people actually knew the
That was the year before and the people knew the show and we were just, you know, like
two months or how long.
And it was pretty surprising and that got us, you know, like double down and we started
doing it three times a week.
So that was a big, big change, a big milestone.
And then, you know, like some of the guests were for me, you know, and all of a sudden,
I think Keith Grossman back then from Times was one of the first kind of like a major
person, like really talking to us.
That was, it was like, okay, now it's, it's getting serious, you know, or like G Money or
whoever of these people.
And, and also, you know, like the community that people are there, you could see them down
in the audience.
And then more and more, we started pulling them up on the stage and, and become, became
friends, which is like the most amazing part.
And, and we keep saying that it's, it sounds like cliche already that, uh, the IRL and
friendships, that's the alpha, you know, like, uh, we, we made so many friends and I can
really say friends, uh, with people.
And it's, it's funny on the IRL events when, uh, when some, when, when you are talking to
somebody that, you know, from the web three space and there is your friend or somebody,
somebody else, uh, like mutual friend there.
And so how do you guys know each other?
And, you know, like I keep saying like from the internet and that's like the best answer
because like, where the fuck do we know each other from the internet, right?
And I think this is, this is big, you know, like if we could connect the IRL or with, with
our internet, uh, friendships, I think that's amazing.
I really love that.
A hundred percent, man.
You look in, in the audience, it's absolutely unbelievable.
So many friends, you know, and it's so funny.
Like you started talking on spaces.
Uh, I think Laura is amazing example, right?
Like we met, we met in Miami, um, on the Timex event and then she came to Prague, you
know, so we took her for the best dinner ever.
You know, she's still, I, I still see all those stories on her, uh, on her Instagram
about that dinner.
So absolutely love that.
She, she is still full.
We ordered like 50 courses, but it was crazy.
It was crazy.
So all these memories and everything that we could meet with you guys and that we could
learn from you.
I think it's, um, it's absolutely unbelievable.
Absolutely guys.
Besides, of course, it's exciting to chat with you, but also like what's the, what's
even, I don't know what to say more beautiful, you know, but to see the journey that people
actually have and to see the progress on the way, it's kind of amazing.
Like you mentioned, uh, the Francis, right?
Uh, grateful that I remember that we were talking about that movie that they are planning
to do it or they were at the beginning, suddenly it's like almost done, right?
We might have, we might have it done this year, which is epic.
And you can think about like so many more people.
I'm thinking about Carlito.
Then he like started Ascent Group, right?
They're doing content and helping companies to grow.
And I can think to so many people, Chantal from Metabrew, for example, also, right?
Like when we were started chatting like a year ago or two, it was kind of beginnings and
now they're having the brewery, they're, they're sending, you know, the products, exporting
the products and all this stuff.
So it's just, you know, it's just beautiful.
It's a 200 episode.
It's definitely a milestone, but I don't see it like a big thing because I think now it's
more like a lifestyle, but you, you want to be a part of this journey.
Hell yeah, man.
And I'm really thinking about a lot of stuff for Hong Kong and I have so many crazy ideas.
You will hate me for that, but I think at the end it would be, it would be great.
So stay tuned, stay tuned.
And also I want to, I want to talk a bit about Tino's story.
Like, like after the NFT NYC, we were like, we should go harder on the show and do three
times a week.
It's actually not how, how, how it was Tino, you know?
Oh, and Tino dropped down.
I love it.
He's gone.
So now I can share the story.
Tino, Tino went for the run and he met one guy, you know, and the guy was like, oh, it's
120 mile week, 2000 pull-ups, 4000 push-ups and hundreds of reps at the gym.
So Tino came and he was like, Hey guys, maybe we should do three episodes a week instead
He met David Goggins on the, on the pier 17, you know, David was checking us.
So what are we doing in the line for the A-pass?
And yeah, of course we didn't do push-ups because yeah, we are too excited for that.
But that's the, that's the true story.
I remember Goggins telling him like, these, these MFers, like they have to go at least
three times a week.
Like it can go like once a week.
It's like, come on.
Yeah, that, that was also wild.
Anything else beast like that, that was crazy for you?
I mean, I was thinking since the 100th episode, it's so many things happened.
It was, it's, I scrolled through my Instagram to check actually the, you know, the posts
of the news.
And again, I have a feeling like it's been five years or more.
It's when I thinking even over the in real life events, the NFT Paris, NFT NYC, NFC Lisbon
and all these events, it's just so many beautiful memories.
And I don't know if you want to go through some episodes also.
I have it here, man.
I'm just checking it.
Like we love, and oh my God, we have to do like Hong Kong special something.
We have to, yeah.
Like we, we do like warmup week before that, like not one episode, but probably more, but
we had a February 22nd NFT Paris warmup.
It was absolutely unbelievable.
We were having space from the park, right?
Yeah, also, I think.
Oh, that was also in Paris.
No, it was Lisbon also.
You're right.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So like NFT Paris, it was unbelievable.
Garga was there.
There was a French apes.
They put together, meet up with him.
Like it was really unbelievable with the view, like the conference, actually, the view was
actually at the Eiffel Tower.
You know, it was, it was, it was the best view ever, probably.
So, so good.
Also, the market was different.
Like you can see on the episodes, like on everything, like the market changed, you know,
and, and I personally see that some people left, but the builders, they like double down,
you know, they double down.
So, man, I think we can nicely track the vibe over this period of two years that it's
really, it's changed.
You're a hundred percent right that it was more about like 2021 was more about screaming
and stuff and talking even, I think I'm, we, we never did really like a flipping episodes,
We always like were inclined more towards building, but it's definitely more now that
like the people who are left here, they are building and they want to talk about, you
know, how to make things better.
So there is definitely a big, big difference since the beginning of this year.
And I think we change, we change also the topics that we want to talk, right?
Because we really switch mostly, I would say two, three, four topics, like of course,
community, that's always fun.
You know, you go once a week or twice a month, but we double down on IP, right?
We, we have more than, than 25, I think maybe 30% of episodes are about IP, about the
builders, uh, about the projects that building around their IP, you know, mostly apes.
Uh, but we actually did like first episode with also Azuki, uh, last, uh, when was it?
On Thursday, right?
Two days ago, yeah.
So, so we became made by apes, which is awesome.
I also have made by apes chocolate, Tino has a made by apes chocolate.
So, so, uh, it's unbelievable.
You know, we grew from the, the show just to have a physical products representing our
So I love this.
I, I even changed the PFP, right?
That was like a few months ago.
It's not like a years or something.
Oh, he was a cool cat before.
He was a cool cat before the famous King cool cat and he switched for the mutant.
So also something crazy.
It was, it was beautiful actually, or it's been beautiful and beautiful welcoming.
I, I highly recommend it.
Hey, I have to complete a sentence, man.
I have to recommend anyone to try to change the PFP for a mutant or ape because the welcoming
is insane.
I wanted to add, you know, I didn't want to interrupt you, but I just wanted to add that
if you're looking for a new mutant or ape, uh, think twice about a background, maybe, you
know, it doesn't have to be orange.
It can be some other color.
You know, I see lost here in the audience, Oxford, showbiz, showbiz, right?
You can, you can think.
Oh my God.
I'm getting thumbs up.
I'm getting threats in my DMs right now.
But yeah, you can, you can check like, um, you know, aquamarine background or Matt Zick
I will get him on stage.
He's also celebrating.
Oh my God.
So many thumbs down right now.
It's so, what's happening, but I see such a beautiful backgrounds in the audience, but
yeah, think about it.
Whenever you.
Are you the only aquamarine in the room actually when I'm scrolling?
Yeah, man.
How does it feel?
Because with orange background, we are never alone.
It's always someone.
Always someone.
I don't know what's happening.
We are very close to each other.
You know, I think that's the rarity, right?
There's like 9,000 orange backgrounds in the collection.
So maybe that's a, that's a reason.
I don't know, man.
I don't know.
No, I'm just kidding guys.
Love for all the backgrounds, but we always playing here, especially when I see lost in
the audience.
I cannot, you know, I can't wait to just mention the background and get thumbs down.
So absolutely love that.
But by the way, blue apes are amazing.
Love them.
You know, pink apes.
Stop here.
What's good, man?
How are you doing?
Yo, what's good, guys?
How are you?
Good to see you, man.
Celebrating.
How are you doing?
Yeah, wicked.
I can't stay for long, so we're going to go for a friend's birthday dinner, but I wanted
to pop up and just, you know, say congratulations on the massive milestone.
You boys are machines.
You're beasts.
Not just by name in one of your cases, but by nature as well.
You just don't stop.
It's great to see.
Thank you, man.
It never stops, you know?
Like when we talk about once a week, then three times a week, I'm definitely closer to five
times a week, then once a week, you know?
I don't know.
Again, it's probably a lifestyle.
Also, you know, we were born from this, man.
So, dude, do you know Beast's story, actually, that he traveled from the future to host spaces?
I mean, I can't tell that story.
You started that.
His name is BeastConnor, man.
Yeah, man.
How are you doing?
How are you doing, Metasic?
What's good with you, man?
Everything is good with me, always.
Yeah, nothing to report, really.
Same old, same old.
Same shit, different day.
Good to hear that.
Good to hear that.
You are our honorary member, so we always love to have you here, bro.
Always welcome.
What a start.
Like, it's not easy, guys.
Like, hosting spaces three times a week, it's a hassle sometimes, but it's so worth it because
like the connections and friendships we made through the spaces and what we learned, right?
Like, talking about IP, we hosted David Horvath like September 7th, so like three weeks ago or something like that.
Oh my God, we learned so much about character building and how to think differently about your products, actually, right?
Because we always like to think big, so go to Walmart, go to the biggest store.
But also, placing your product in locations like museums and, you know, some interesting locations can also be really helpful.
So we learned so much through the show.
Like, it's absolutely unbelievable.
It's good to know the opinions of builders who are doing stuff and often even like the opposite opinion or like, maybe not opposite, but a little, you know, like not usual in the space.
Maybe not the most popular one.
Oh my God.
Exactly, yeah.
Well done, man.
I just see something in the comments, man.
I just see something in the comments and it got me shocked.
It's from Old City.
What's there?
I'm once again asking for more Aquamarine apes.
So, yeah, so these are often the opinions that actually help you think that, you know, like, where do you want to go?
I mean, because often we might, we tend to agree with all the stuff like together as a group, right?
But we also need people from the outside sometimes to see actually, you know, to have different opinions and then think about it and see, you know, where to go.
Yeah, exactly, man.
Like what was really helpful for us because when we started shifting to more IP episode was Harry's, you know, the Yuga ecosystem map.
And now, of course, with Bodega and Made by Apes, it got our job so much easier because we can just go there, invite people, you know, and talk about what they're doing.
So amazing progress through the 100 episodes, right?
The 100th episode was January 21st.
So it's been, I don't know how many months, eight, nine or something like that.
So in those nine months, like so much happened.
Like, you know, look at the gaming, like how many times we spend just playing games, man.
I spend like eight hours in Rift every day, you know, like three hours playing Rec League.
Now we're having the Legends of the Mara, so it's going to be another like two hours.
So I think that's 12 hours.
Yeah, so I think I have like eight more hours for maybe one or two more games.
I know Serum City is also building the game.
Cool Cat's having a game.
10 KTF, I'm not sure.
Oh, Metazic, come on, go ahead, man.
So if you've got, you're spending 12 hours gaming so far, by my calculations, you've got 17 hours left to play other games.
Man, you are always genius with math, man.
I love that.
We are always talking floor prices and stuff, what's happening in the space.
And you are always on point, Metazic.
I absolutely love that.
Man, it definitely not stopping with gaming.
I was watching that Apple's keynote.
And even Apple actually mentioned that they want to go heavier on gaming.
So the MacBooks are ready now.
And I was like, damn.
So it's like, even from WebTour, there is going to be more games.
So it means like, are we going to play like 24-7 or what's going on?
Yeah, that's our future, man.
That's our future.
Our future is probably, you know, powered by ApeCoin.
So we got to be playing and I need some ApeCoin guys, you know, so I can sustain that level.
I am BeastCon.
I come back from the future to tell you that in the future, there are 27 hours in a day to play web-free games.
Let's fucking go.
Let's do spaces.
Elon Musk extended the day to 27 hours just so you can play more web-free games.
I mean, in the metaverse, there's like a whole different time system.
So there will be 27 hours.
What is time anyway, right?
Exactly right.
Like, yeah, I think metaverse, like there are no time zones, basically.
So I'm always like, why don't we have one time zone?
Okay, for some people, it will be night all day long.
But who cares, right?
Like we could be on spaces at the same time.
We could be in the metaverse.
So I absolutely agree with that.
And I hope there's going to be like metaverse time.
And yeah, I'm just checking the Mars.
Actually, the Mars has a very similar daily cycle to Earth.
Just 37 extra minutes.
So it's 24 hours and 37.
No, we need to find another planet, MetaZik.
This is not the right one.
I think it's double.
I think Mars is like double, like a year is double.
So technically, you're like 16 on Mars.
You're 16 years old.
So move to Mars and you're young.
Guys, have you tried to go outside since the episode 100?
Maybe it could help with all these theories.
Yeah, that's a good point.
That's a good point.
Big fan though.
Appreciate.
I need to find that music.
I need to play with the soundboard better, man.
Yeah, yeah, that's it.
That's it.
But guys, you know what was funny?
The last celebration, the 100th episode, we had Atare here.
And we welcome him every time with the same song.
Do you remember that?
Of course, man.
Every single time I see Atare somewhere, it reminds me of that song.
If you have it, I think we should just play it for the culture
and then send it to him because he'll be super happy.
Okay, guys.
So I think we could unmute and invite Atare on stage.
What do you think?
I know he's not here, but who cares, right?
Maybe he'll listen to it later.
He might be somewhere, you know?
He might have a different name.
You never know.
Atare, aren't you doing live spaces in LA?
Oh, yeah, you're right.
It was about live spaces in LA.
I'm not going to make it, but we can watch the stream.
That's amazing.
But welcome on stage, brother.
Let's fucking go, Atare.
Oh, and he's got an orange background also.
What a legend.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, welcome here, man.
Yeah, now we have to figure out a song for Tiger, All City and Amplify, you know, something
like, I will try to find something, you know.
By the way, guys, it's absolutely crazy.
We hosted saxophonists from actually Pink Floyd here.
So talking about the songs, I think I found a song immediately, you know.
That's a song from Pink Floyd.
It has a little ApeCoin theme, I think.
What do you think?
Go for that.
Yeah, I'm waiting for it.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
You need to give me time.
I'm forward.
I thought you were ready.
What's going on, bro?
No, that's Atare.
Not this one.
That's ApeCoin.
Taking forever.
What's happening there?
Yeah, the intro before he say money, it's like 10 minutes, so be patient, guys.
Let's go, bro.
It should be ApeCoin, but yeah, I think we can text him and, you know, try to do some edits
in the song so it's more appropriate, but yeah, it was so much fun.
Oh my God, like Pink Floyd.
That's actually the band of our childhood, right?
Yeah, of course, but it was crazy back then, you know, when we went for all these in real
life events, right?
When they were starting.
It's kind of a similar thing like here.
But that's usually the Tino, right?
That we make the most fun of him, like that he's old and we usually do kind of jokes like
that he really appreciates blockchain because when he was born, we didn't have electricity.
So yeah, it's a journey.
We'll send it to him.
I will make a snippet out of it.
He loves those jokes.
We do them all the time.
Yeah, we need him back.
Let's let's message him to join again.
You know, he's yeah, he's having that huge, huge event.
It's absolutely crazy.
I'm going to check the comments.
What's happening there?
I just been the one with the Aquamarine background.
Absolutely love that.
Man, we have a survivor.
Oh, I have the one of the episodes that was actually amazing.
Also, was that ERC 6551 with Benny and Jaden, if you remember, like to talk about a little
more tech stuff and see actually where the space and even gaming, like to see it a little
from like further level, where is it all going and what are all these use cases that we will
be able to use soon.
It was it was also a nice one.
Yeah, that was a really good one.
And it showed the future, you know, how the space is evolving.
And I think that's really interesting.
I'm not sure who, but I think the the mutant cartel actually actually posted that they are
building on 6551, right?
So, yeah, maybe we'll be able to touch that account abstraction thing also, like the smart
wallets and stuff.
So the it's not just that, you know, that us and everyone here, like the space in general
is progressing, which is which is always like good to see, especially during this market.
Oh, we got all city.
What happened, man?
No progress.
We're stuck.
Oh, we're moving back.
We're going backwards.
Game over.
It's proof of work.
It's over, ladies and gentlemen.
It's proof of work again.
What the fuck?
Yeah, Tino, what's happening?
What's happening, Tino?
Tell us the story.
What you doing?
Tino is probably selling some stuff.
He's generating revenue.
So he's, you know, he's doing more than 99% of the people in the in the Web3 space, baby.
So Tino, what's good, man?
Welcome back.
Depends more of what, you know, like more of work, probably.
More of money.
You're here for the vibe, man.
You're not here for the money.
You're here for the vibe.
Yeah, exactly.
But it's good.
I helped the guys to pack.
We had a pop-up there.
So I helped them a little bit, you know, like I'm not too much of a manual worker, but try to help at least.
But all good.
It's funny.
Epic, epic, epic.
You know what's amazing that when Tino started building Infitorium, like he created those like stickers and everything.
Like you also have a merch, right?
But it's not a merch.
It's actually high quality, like a sweater or how would you call that?
And it's actually, it looks the same as his mutant, like as the Infi is actually wearing, you know.
And the quality is really top-notch.
So I absolutely love that.
I don't know why we can't buy it, man.
What's happening with that?
Actually, today a few people, because there were quite a few people from the Rampo crew, from our NFT collection, from our streetwear.
And they were asking, you know, like when this crew neck, when is it dropping?
And because I kind of said like probably towards end of the year, but at the beginning of Infitorium brand, I said like there are no promises.
Like it's my experiment.
I'm doing how I want it, you know.
And so I have it sampled and everything.
And to be honest, I'm like, I'm just kind of waiting.
So most likely beginning of like the spring or something like that, I'll just release it.
I'm just looking how to, if we should sell it through our own channels.
Or I should, you know, like do it in the retail with some of my friends who are running like a sneaker stores or streetwear stores.
But it depends.
I'm just, I have no rush.
So it's, but it's good.
It looks really good.
And it's, it's exactly like my mutant.
So that was, I fell in love with that crew neck the second when I bought my mutant.
And so I decided to, even back then I decided to produce it once.
And guys, that's exactly how it should happen, right?
Like Tino, we were in a line for the Doodles venue, right?
Or somewhere next to the Coolman in New York, right?
Was that Coolman next to Doodles?
Coolman was next to him.
Was that Coolman, right?
Yeah, yeah.
We were standing and I was forcing Tino.
Tino, you need mutant.
Tino, you need mutant.
I was like, oh, I'm not sure.
I'm not sure, you know.
Then we took him for the ApeFest experience.
And then Tino was like, holy shit, I need mutant.
So absolutely love that.
I see Showbiz, you know, Showbiz, he's crazy too.
Like Showbiz bought mutant on Monday.
On Friday, he was on the fucking weekend in Miami, you know.
And now he's here.
So I love these stories, actually.
It's, it's unbelievable.
And we always say like, if you can go for IRL, go there.
Because like, I didn't go to that many this year, actually.
I was in Paris, Lisbon.
What else?
No, I didn't go to New York.
That's it?
Is that it?
And Prague, many of them in Prague.
We were in Prague.
Prague, okay.
Last year, bro.
Yeah, here, okay.
When was Miami as well?
Was that this year or was that last year?
No, it was last year.
And Hong Kong right now.
So that's going to be, that's going to be pumped.
But yeah, every time you can meet with people.
We also had a great, great, you know, experience with the chocolate.
Like the first NFT event we brought our chocolate was in the Lisbon and it was amazing.
So yeah, can't wait, can't wait.
And we're going.
We are all going to Hong Kong, actually.
Can you, I haven't tried you guys' chocolate yet.
Can you describe it for me so I can like experience it auditorily?
It's so good.
Go ahead, Greg.
I can't wait for the description.
I would start with, I just watched a video, you know, I know.
I just watched a video yesterday about Mr. Beast chocolate because he's trying to like
copy our ideas and, you know, he's kind of a small competition to our brand.
He was like, he was like, it's like a 25 billion market or something like that.
So he tries to get at least a little bit from you.
At least a little bit.
We just set it up the YouTube channel with Tino.
So we got him, you know, give us a few weeks and we'll get there.
But the chocolate, how do you describe how chocolate tastes?
I would say one thing.
The chocolate is really such a high quality that you probably never tasted something like
Like whatever you buy in the store, like if you buy Lint, if you buy something like Ritter's
port, I don't know, in US, the Mr. Beast, he mentioned some kind of chocolates.
I don't know.
But this is really something different.
And when you start eating it, like you have to be really careful because I just ate one
before the show and I didn't even know I ate it.
So you have to be really careful because our producer, he actually brings the beans from
the different countries, right?
My is from Uganda.
I don't know, Tino, where is your coming from?
Belize, I believe.
Belize, yeah.
Yeah, and he actually brings the beans here to Czech Republic and from the beans, he created
chocolate.
So it's not like some shitty powder from, you know, abroad, but he really picked the beans.
He checked them out.
It's organic, you know.
So I think the quality is absolutely unbelievable.
We're shipping that to Hong Kong.
So if you got to be lucky, you can taste it there.
And Tino also have a coffee in the chocolate.
So it's like a combo, right?
Yeah, so Gratefuls is 70% dark chocolate from Uganda.
So it's like really beautiful dark chocolate.
And to be honest, I'm not really a huge fan of dark, dark chocolate.
And this, it's like really, for me, this is like very tender and really good.
And, you know, like we can be saying that it is our chocolate, but we're not producing
it ourselves with our hands.
So like, it's really amazing as a product.
That's why, that's why we're doing it.
And mine is 56% milk dark chocolate and with, with coffee, coffee beans.
So it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, they are, they are like grinded on top.
And so it also cracks and it has this like, uh, the, the, the, the heart element there.
So it's, um, and actually what Grateful said, that's the most common feedback.
Like I started eating your fucking chocolate and I, I didn't realize that I finished the
entire bar.
And this is so many people actually that, that told me it is, it's, it's, it's really funny.
Yeah, man, because of this business, I gave up on the idea to become fitness influencer guys.
So it's not going to happen probably because we need to taste that product, right?
Like you need to check it out.
So Tiger, you, you will get one in Hong Kong if you're going, uh, so you can, then you can,
you can share it.
Um, and you'll see, you'll see how you like that.
Should we do like a live test, a taste test?
That, that was the idea.
I actually started writing a script for you with chat GPT, you know, how to say it's the
best chocolate ever and where to buy it.
So it's not going to be staged guys.
It's not going to be staged, but yeah, I have one for all city for amplify for Laura,
the lost Sandman, Peter.
Oh my God, Peter.
Peter Funk.
He's going to be like, yeah, I'm really good in basketball, but this chocolate is the best
one in the world.
So, you know, you have to buy it.
You need to eat one before every game to play at the highest level possible.
So can't wait.
Can't wait.
Guys, I take you and Peter at one of the posts.
There's obviously a basketball contest, you know, during, during Ape Fest and it's like
a board apes versus mutants.
So hopefully you're playing for mutants.
I'm really hoping you are.
No, no, no.
We're playing for apes, man.
And look at our backgrounds.
Like, do you think like, what do you think about it, man?
Like we are a team aquamarine, you know, Peter, he got, he got issues with free throws.
You know, I already talked to him and then that's why he switches ape.
Now he has that Terminator eye.
So, you know, he can, he can aim better.
So all good.
I think we're ready, man.
I'm just a little, little worried about it.
I'm not even saying anything about the orange background because, you know, it's easy to
see how it's going to happen.
What's going to, who's going to win, right?
So, you know, I'm not starting that again.
But yeah, I'm a little bit worried about the lost in the audience, you know, because with
his outfit playing basketball, it can be really dangerous.
So I would be careful.
I would be careful with that.
And yeah, also, yeah, I'm not talking about background now, but Hong Kong, guys, give me
thumbs up or down if you're going, guys.
I really want to see in the, in the audience.
Oh my God.
Amplify, what's going on?
Oh my God.
Showbiz is going.
I love Peter.
No, misclick.
That's misclick.
Peter, can you do it again?
How about Payman?
Payman, are you going to Hong Kong?
Darko, Mr.
Oh, Peter has to go.
Oh yeah, Peter is going.
Showbiz going.
Payman is sending out.
Oh my God.
Guys, I have, I think there's a, such a beautiful basketball court actually in Hong Kong.
I need to find it, find it photo.
So it's going to be, going to be so much fun.
But guys, we also in three minutes, I will be renaming this space for the first time in
Let's fucking go.
So I hope I'm not going to mess it up.
I see another legend joining the space, but again, what's happening?
Pink, such a beautiful pink ape, but orange background, but it doesn't matter.
Phil, love to have you here.
Also, Batfeet, another orange background.
Oh my God.
It's like an invasion.
It's amazing, guys.
I love it.
I will have to switch one ape to orange background now because, you know, I love it.
I love it.
This space looks beautiful.
Just scroll through, man.
It looks amazing.
I love it.
I have one more question before we move into that next renamed part that you're going to
do grateful.
Go for it, man.
I really like the description about the chocolate.
It sounds amazing.
I'm also looking forward to try it and also in Hong Kong.
I was just wondering what's the best way to eat it.
Do you chew it or do you let it melt or how does that work?
That's almost like a philosophical question, man.
Like you remind me like Marcus Aurelius or some stuff like that.
No, I was wondering because maybe if you let it melt, you're allowing the cocoa butter
to coat your mouth, allowing you to experience all the flavors.
Is that how you eat it?
Beast, turn it into GPT now.
I don't know what's going on.
But yeah, I never tried.
I usually eat it like one chocolate bar.
It takes me like five seconds.
So I don't know, man.
Oh my God.
So we're doing it live in Hong Kong.
We have to check it out and see what's the proper way to eat it.
Oh my God.
I found a basketball court.
I will try to pin it, but that's, that's gotta be, that's gotta be the vibe, guys.
That's gotta be crazy.
So Peter, bring your Kobis, bring your Kobis.
I'll bring my Jordans.
And yeah, we find some locals and we try to win some money, you know, so we can cover the
hotel and all the stuff in the bear market.
But yeah, it's not gonna, yeah, we probably should play with kids.
So we have a better chance of winning, but let's see.
Let's see.
Beast, take, take it from here.
I will try to rename the space and then I will, I will rename it back because we, we'll
be celebrating.
We'll keep going.
But now we want to talk about it.
Well, not one.
Come on, like 317.
I see Ian also requesting, let's fucking go.
Yeah, yeah, get him in, get, also anyone who want to join us on stage, what, GM, GM,
how are you doing today?
Yo, GM, GM, are you with us?
Damn, it looks like you're on the way to Hong Kong, but you didn't pick a plane.
You're going by train or ship, by yacht.
It makes so much sense.
Peter, join us.
So guys, let me rename the space because, you know, my renaming skills are not great and
I'm able to delete the space instead.
So be careful, be careful right now.
I'm going to rename it right now.
So Peter, how are you doing, man?
Oh, Ian, can we hear you?
Hello, hello.
Sorry, I'm walking.
Hello, we can hear you.
I'm walking to get coffee.
I just wanted to say congrats on the 200 episodes, dude.
It's, that's good stuff.
I love, I don't get to listen every time, but I tune in while I can.
So I just wanted to hop on and say congrats before I go grab my daughter from her gymnastics
Thank you so much for the kind words.
I appreciate it a lot, man.
Are we going to see you in Hong Kong or some next in real life events?
Oh, what's the plan?
Yeah, yeah, I'll be there in Hong Kong.
I look forward to seeing you guys there.
Let's fucking go.
Let's fucking go, guys.
It seems that I renamed the space.
I almost, when I rename it, I almost clicked end because I was like, oh, end the caption.
But no, I would end the space.
So that was close.
That was close.
But super pumped to talk about AIP.
But guys, even while talking about AIP, we still going to be celebrating.
It's going to be different.
And I also see the N, the G, the B, the S, the legend in the audience.
So if you want to join us on stage, just request.
I get you here, guys.
And everyone who want to join us, just request.
And Tiger actually helped me with the song, How to Introduce You.
And I think there's no, there can be a better fit than what I'm going to play right now.
So I'm so stoked to actually play the legendary movie.
It's, Tino, you still here?
Oh, my God.
He's not here.
So I can tell the joke.
The song is from 1985.
So it's like, I'm here.
But it's from, yeah, it's like 50 years.
They did the song 50 years.
After you were born, but it doesn't matter, man.
Let's play it.
Let's welcome.
AIP 317, Governance and Operations.
Oh, my God.
The Tiger.
The All City.
Woo, who's that?
Welcome here, guys.
And there's no better song than this.
I'm going to do some push-ups in the meantime.
Let's fucking go.
And we forgot to say hi to Peter.
Oh, my God.
It's going to be push-ups for me.
Let's go, guys.
Super excited to talk and to learn more about this AIP, which is ready for vote.
So, guys, if you have at least one ApeCoin, you can go to ApeCoin.com and vote.
This is Kobe video for Peter.
People just like us.
They make mistakes just like us.
And they kept going.
They kept going, baby.
That's us.
Guys, welcome on stage.
Super pumped to talk more about it.
Yeah, where to start?
Where to start?
Like, could you tell us a little bit more about AIP 317?
You can start wherever you want.
I have questions here.
Whoever want to start, just unmute and go ahead, guys.
Yeah, I'll go ahead and start.
First, like, I do want to apologize because the energy is not going to be the same with
the governance side of things, just because it is kind of stale, just in terms of, like,
what we do day to day.
But really, the governance working group, right, has a pretty narrow scope and mandate, and
that's to provide operational support and project management support for the foundation.
So, what that looks like in practice, right, is facilitating the entirety of the discourse
So, that's anything from the AIP process all the way to special counsel elections every
six months, working group steward elections.
We assist with any kind of transition of service providers.
So, if you remember, at the beginning of this year, we made a transition from Cartan to
WebSlinger as our Cayman Islands Dow Foundation Administrator.
We create and maintain policies related to governance and specifically, like, procedures that improve
upon governance.
And then we support our own individual initiatives, right?
So, we have kind of our main mandate is to make sure your guys' AIPs are making it to
snapshot, but then also trying to improve upon that.
So, a lot of educational and informational initiatives.
Love to hear that.
I mentioned, guys, it's ready for a vote.
So, you can go to ApeCoin.com and vote.
But what's going to happen?
What's going to happen?
Because now you mentioned really important things.
What's going to happen if the AIP is not going to go through?
Yeah, so, the way that the working structure was created, and this was intentional, is that
the terms for the actual positions are separate from the budget, right?
So, if this doesn't pass, we have to put up another budget, but the work continues, period,
And a huge part of that motivation was seeing sort of how our prior administrator reacted
to that same situation, right?
When their budget proposal was not passing, they kind of hung up their hats, right?
And said, hey, we're just going to transition.
We're not going to do this anymore.
And that's specifically, like, what we are not here to do.
We are internally elected ApeCoin DAO community members first.
And so, we care genuinely about the DAO, and we want to ensure that it's operational, period.
But that's the short answer, is we've put up another budget, a smaller budget.
Go ahead, OCD.
I don't know if you're rugging.
Can you hear me now?
Yeah, yeah, I can hear.
Yeah, no, I just want to jump in real quick.
So, if you look up top in the pinned tweets, there's a tweet there.
There's also up in the nest there.
If you click over, there's another one, direct to snapshot.
You're going to see a big lead.
So, anyways, yesterday, what ended up happening, we're all pretty close with Machi.
We talked to him pretty closely.
But it's the Machi show right now, right?
We all love Machi.
We all respect what he's doing.
He's got a good vision.
But he's very shrewd, right?
So, when you're looking at that vote count, I don't want you to get too confused.
This is very, very early.
We've got a ton of support coming.
Mochaverse is on our side.
We've got the Canadian apes.
You know, we love the French apes, all sorts of stuff.
So, the lead looks a little different than it's going to look in a couple days.
So, don't be shy.
Momentum is a thing, right?
So, after we're done talking up here today, if you believe in what we're doing, vote, right?
Even if it looks a little lopsided right now, like I said, in a couple days, it's not.
And that momentum is crucial.
We're very, very close to a lot of delegations, right?
But especially for people who are single voters.
Look, social proof's a thing, right?
So, when you look at that vote count, some people go, uh-oh, Machi voted.
I better just not even vote at all.
Not the case.
We need momentum.
These delegations are coming.
We got strong support.
If you like what we're doing, get out and vote.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Yeah, of course, I saw that.
I also checked the timeline, you know, and a few people, actually.
Because if you don't pay attention, like, what's going on.
And I think you have to pay, like, if you want to be in touch, what's happening with other side,
you have to pay attention, right?
Maybe on a weekly basis.
The same with ApeCoinDAO.
But I would step back here and ask you this, like, what is the best way, guys, for people
to actually stay in touch with ApeCoinDAO and understand what's happening, you know?
And then we get back into your AIP.
Because you probably know who I'm talking about.
Like, Professor, he was like, I'm too old for this.
I don't know what's happening in the DAO and in the other side.
So, what would you recommend?
And we love, Professor.
What would you recommend to people, like, to stay in touch, be active in the DAO?
Well, what's the best way for you guys?
Yeah, so...
Oh, sorry.
No, Amp, you take this.
I was just going to say, I actually reached out to John yesterday.
And we actually drafted a letter for him.
And obviously, it's inappropriate to share screenshots.
But the response we got was really overwhelming.
So, I drafted up a letter on behalf of the governance working group yesterday.
And I sent it to him.
And what he sent back, I'm telling you right now, was, like,
I couldn't fit it into two screenshots, right?
He was so happy that we reached out and responded.
And I really laid out everything that we do.
And to be completely honest, in the last couple days,
that has been something that's come up.
And we have to own that a little bit.
Maybe we weren't clear enough on the AIP,
all of the things that we are responsible for.
And I think that the reason for that is simple, right?
Some people want to read a lengthy, dense proposal.
Others don't.
So, trying to find that kind of that balance in between where you can keep people's attentions
but still be very informative can be tricky, right?
But this is definitely something I think that we could have improved on in the proposal looking back.
And so, yeah, I think that's one thing that we could really, really talk about today
is all of the things that we're responsible for
and the importance that we really bring to the DAO.
So, I'm going to let Amplify go here.
But just in a nutshell, we are what makes the DAO move, right?
This is a seven-person team.
So, when you look at what we're asking for, which is, what are we going for right now?
I think it's 4886.
So, 488, that sounds like a lot, right?
This is what you need to understand.
This is a six-month budget that covers seven people's salaries
that handle all day-to-day operations of the DAO, right?
And we'll get a little bit more into that in a second.
I'm going to let Amplify take it.
But this is very, very important to understand.
Yeah, I tend to monologue quite a bit.
So, just cut me off at any time because there is a lot here.
So, to answer your question in terms of where to find accurate and up-to-date information,
definitely the forum should be the source of truth.
However, there is a big caveat there.
It's incredibly dense and very difficult to navigate through.
So, I'd suggest joining the Discord, the ApeCoin Discord.
If you go to discord.gg slash ApeCoinDAO, you just need one ApeCoin to verify to get in.
And we send weekly updates every Tuesday.
So, the same updates that will be sent in the Discord server is also mirrored on the ApeCoin Twitter.
So, if you have notifications on on the ApeCoin Twitter account.
And I know that Twitter's been kind of dormant for a long time.
So, it's kind of easy to forget about, but it's being reactivated as we speak.
Yeah, I think that's the best way too.
I mentioned prof because I think, you know, more people can feel like that.
And it's important to figure out the ways how to, you know, get them involved, how to keep them updated.
And I know also, Atare, you know, we talk, oh my god, I have to find a song.
We, he did an amazing video with Mabby, right?
About some AIP.
So, I think it can be also the way.
Atare, welcome on stage.
We gave you the shout out here.
Let's fucking go, Atare.
Let's fucking go.
Orange background.
Because, because we talk a lot about the ApeCoinDAO here.
That's why we also, I think it's amazing to have you here today.
We're going to have some AIPs next Saturday here.
And it's the way how to, how to bring it to more people to understand what's happening.
And if we have more channels like that, I think more people will learn about it.
And probably more people will participate, right?
I just wanted to add on to that.
Like, the level of support increased over the last few months from all the content creation
and all the space hosts has been unbelievable.
And I think that is really a representation of, like, who is taking care of all the background
work right now?
AllCity, myself, Amplify, the Disqris facilitators, we're all hardcore community members of not only
the BYC ecosystem, but also of the DAO.
So we have that direct contact with you guys when something is exciting and pumping.
Like, we want you guys to be a part of it, too, and learn through some of those experiences.
And I think that is a huge difference from the previous, you know, generation of what
the administration was doing, where they were very hands-off.
They were in their, like, castle somewhere.
Who effing knows, right?
So, I mean, I want you guys to be, I want, like, that's kind of what we are reaching for.
We are reaching for the community.
We're trying to bridge that gap and trying to make sure that the creators in our ecosystem
and the builders are getting the support that they need from start to finish, from, like,
even the idea portion of it.
Like, I don't know if you guys can tell, but we are, like, too passionate about the DAO.
That's why sometimes we get a little sensitive when people get a little, you know, a little
But, like, we appreciate these spaces so that we can kind of explain it.
And hopefully there is a little bit more clarity once this show is over.
What would you say that are most important points from your AIP, like, three, five points
that are really, really crucial that you really like and that you would like to pass?
Yeah, go ahead, Amp.
And then we'll let Loss jump into the importance of the AIP process.
We can get into some of our initiatives and stuff like that.
But I think we could probably start with the AIP process and everything that goes into that, Loss.
Also, I want one more thing that if I want to make a snippet out of this, right, and want
to explain, like, why people should vote for this or why they should vote in general, like,
you know, some people that are not 24-7 in the AIP code now, that would be cool, like,
to create something like that for them, you know, maybe even for the future, like, creating
this type of content that people can...
I know it's hard, you know, like, you usually should go and read the forum and read the AIP,
but, you know, bring them in, you know, so they see it more often.
I think that would be amazing, but I'm rambling here now.
Go ahead, guys.
No, yeah, for me, like, the whole point of working groups, right, is to have that very
specific mandate and scope, right?
And so for me, it's maintaining existing operations.
So if you look at kind of the vibe in the DAO last year, right, if you tried to put up
an AIP, odds are it would take about two months to get there, multiple back and forths with
the administrators and the special counsel.
And then even then, it's not guaranteed to go to vote.
So the discourse facilitation side, and specifically that team kind of led up by Lost, Chris and
12Gage, they've been doing an incredible, incredible job getting AIPs very promptly up
to the special counsel's desk and then up to vote.
They've actually decreased the time that an AIP spends in draft phase by about 70%, so 50
days down to 16 days.
And with the project management improvements that we've made with our notion and getting
the special counsel onboarded into there, we're trying to target roughly like a 30-day
minimum to AIP from idea to snapshot.
And I think we can do that fairly easily.
It's just a matter of getting down the process right, getting everyone on the same page.
The AIP process, if you look at it now, and especially in the last couple of months, it's picked up
dramatically.
Like, we've got over, I think, like 85 different AIPs just in process right now across all the
different stages.
And you'll see this trend of four to five AIPs going up every week on snapshot is not going to
slow down anytime soon.
Yeah, that's great.
Yeah, if Lost is tied up, too.
So another really, really important thing for us, so coming in, I mean, the governance working
group here, I mean, Amplify had it running for two months, but me and Tiger came on about two
months ago as well.
So it's a relatively new team working extremely well.
And we've got some really, really exciting initiatives that didn't exist before that we're
really proud of.
You know, some of this stuff really, really is community, really, really community driven,
So it's very, very important to us that we are able to make appearances on great spaces
like this.
You know, it's not very big because it's kind of a fine line.
We've got marketing and communications working group coming.
So we don't want to, you know, we're not trying to step on anybody's toes.
We do have a small marketing, sorry, we do have a small communications budget, a monthly
budget here in this budget so that, you know, we can come on and we can sponsor some shows,
We can get ourselves out there.
We can get ourselves out there more with the community.
You know, another big thing that I'm really proud of is we want to put together a global
community council.
What is that?
It's a seven person.
It's a seven seat.
You know, it's a monthly think tank, essentially, where we can get people from the big delegations.
We can get voters from all over the world, all over the globe, from different regions
who think different things, who want different things, get together with governance and put
our heads together, get feedback going, say, hey, what do you want to see?
We're thinking about doing this.
What do you think about that?
There's so many passionate members in discord and discourse who, you know, we take so much
feedback in from them.
But a lot of times delegations, which are a growing thing and very important to the Dow,
They're very important for a few reasons that I'll get into in a second.
But because of their growing presence and they're all over the world and they have different
rationale and they have different needs from the Dow, it's critical that we're all able
to communicate together so we can better align and move together forward.
This kind of stuff just didn't exist without us before.
And it's not going to exist without us in the future.
You know, so this this this kind of thing is it's just extremely important.
It's, you know, it's just it's it's critical for the Dow being able to listen, being able
to understand, being able to communicate.
So communication is huge for us.
I love the idea with a think tank.
Like it's it's amazing, you know, and we do it too.
Like we talk with people from even from outside of Web3, right?
They have successful businesses and they help you with what you're doing.
So I absolutely love that idea.
And yeah, Lost, welcome here.
How are you doing?
I'm juiced.
I got my coffee.
I'm not going to lie about some lotion the other day that smells like it says it smells
like coffee and whiskey, but it smells like coffee and chocolate.
So it's more kind of sweet right now.
Tino's not here.
So you say you're good, man.
You guys were juicing me up as I was putting the lotion on.
You guys talk about melting lotion or melting chocolate.
I was like, oh, man, this is getting sensual.
I'm putting.
Lost, this is not after our show.
Let's let's reel that in a little bit.
I'm moving right on.
It just smells so good.
It just smells good.
It's the coffee aroma in the morning.
You know, it's like a you know, when they bake an apple pie in a house that you're going
to buy the just just good vibes.
What's that putting in this show today, guys?
Amplify was like the energy would be low, but probably not.
It's not getting low.
Not at all.
Let's get to AIP back.
Back to AIP probably.
What do you think, guys?
Get into the AIP process and how dense that is and how much work you guys are putting in
on the back end with that.
I think that this is very important for people to understand.
Yeah, I'll touch on the process.
And it is a lot of work.
And I think you guys have outlined like a lot of different things that we're responsible
for and that we want to do.
And I have something else I guess I want to I want to talk about.
And it's just cohesive.
It's in line.
And just to give some context to everything that we've been doing here and kind of why
it is exciting for me and I think for the community as well.
And I've said this before and I'm going to keep saying it.
I guess this is my narrative now that I'm pushing.
But for me, the July, right, July really marks the first time that this community was empowered
to begin executing on behalf of this community.
And what I mean by that is not only through the special counsel, but through the community
doing a request for process process that started in January to choose new administrators
and also reeling some of these responsibilities we've been talking about into the community
so that people like me and Tiger and All City and Amp can execute.
And we have obligations to this community now.
And that opportunity is there for other people through some of these other working groups
and this working group as well.
So I just want to I just want to say, you know, if you're listening to this and it sounds
like, oh, we're dancing to the weeds, it's like we it's too late.
I can't join.
It's not this.
This really is like July.
This just started.
We just got here.
This is it.
So and this is and this is just in the past year.
And so just talking about a little bit what I do, I guess I'll transition into some of
the nitty gritty of the proposal process.
And some of the other things that are maybe exciting for us as a community, the so the
proposal process starts on the forum discourse.
Not very exciting.
Carries on to the review for with not only with the special counsel, but also with the
community.
So when you start your proposal process, that's really when the community is engaging on the
That's when the engagement process starts.
It's not only when it's up to vote.
It's as soon as you put that idea up on the forum.
So there's a review not only with the council, but really with the community through that process.
And when it's when the proposal is ready, that's when we see it up on snapshot.
If the community agrees and we approve a proposal, ultimately, there is a grant agreement that's
carried out between the author and this Ape Foundation that underlies the ApeCoin DAO.
So we we touched on a couple.
I touched on a couple of different things there.
And so the discourse, the snapshot, the the website, our Twitter account and our treasury,
the ApeCoin DAO owns those things.
We're the DAO.
All of us, the token holders, we're the DAO.
We own those things.
The Ape Foundation and this administration, WebSlinger, they're the custodians.
They hold those things.
When we approve things to be done, they do them.
They make sure that it's done on our behalf and they keep us safe in doing it.
They make sure we're compliant, you know, across the globe, across where we need to
be, we're compliant so that everybody can participate in this thing.
So that that's a little bit about the structure.
Obviously, the team for the facilitators, it's me.
It's 12 Gauge.
He's from the Forever Apes.
And then Crypto Chris Logically, he's he's doxed himself on the timeline.
So you're familiar with him.
He's one of the Bay Area Apes.
So super familiar team.
And then the stewards, all three of them up here.
So Tiger, Amp and AllCity and Vulcan's floating around here somewhere.
If you're not following Vulcan, if you haven't seen Vulcan on the timeline, I don't know
where you've been, but he's the secretary.
He just he he gets the word out.
I mean, he got he I think he's the first one that got the ApeCoin DAO press across across
media outlets.
He's the first one that really got us in the media.
So shout out to Vulcan.
That's our DAO secretary.
And yeah, I'll just I'll stop there before I get too much more into the weeds.
But if there's any questions about any of this, we're always around.
We're always happy to help people.
We want people to be engaged with this process.
It's not just about what's in the budget, but the budget does represent funding for
us to continue what's been being done up until this point and to improve on the processes
so that things get better.
What a great overview.
Thank you, man.
It was amazing.
AllCity, I see your hand.
Yeah, I think another thing that's very, very important to this to this group here in
particular that that really just absolutely did not exist before two months ago is our
desire to really provide the community with solid information on topics that they really
don't know enough about.
One of those being, you know, sustainability and compliance.
One thing that's on everyone's mind is, OK, we see all this ApeCoin going out, but nothing's
coming back in.
Like, how does that make sense?
How is this going to be sustainable long term?
So we did initially early on.
We did have not really early on, but, you know, halfway through, we did want to experiment
with the liquidity pool.
We've removed that just because we're governance.
You know, some of the community was a little bit unsettled with that.
So that's OK.
We don't we're not here to take risks or anything like that, but it is on our mind.
So an extension of that, although you're not going to see any of that from us, we're
keeping things, you know, just just as they are.
But we do want to report and we do want to provide reports.
We do want to inform the community properly on some of these topics.
So if you look at our budget, you're going to see a sustainability and compliance study.
This is this is a plan to be conducted by a third party.
This is not something internal.
We want a third party service provider to do this for us.
Provide a report outlining options based tailored specifically to the ApeCoin DAO, how the
ApeCoin DAO works, the treasury, the community behind it, and provide a report to us that
we can then relay off to the community that says, OK, look, you guys want to get more
sustainable.
You want to look at some of these other options that might be able to provide yield or anything
like that, however that looks, whether it's through a sub DAO, a sister DAO.
It wouldn't be through the foundation.
It wouldn't be through governance and operations.
But there could be other avenues that the DAO could that the community behind the DAO
could take to start looking at some of this stuff.
So, again, I mean, research and development is huge for us and we don't want to play a
guessing game.
The other thing, too, here is, you know, Lost and Amplify, I think both touched on it, that
this is a community driven thing.
Right now, we are all elected community members and that should never change, in my opinion.
ApeCoin DAO was created to empower the community.
However, not to the detriment of the DAO.
And what I mean by that is every community member is passionate as we are, as excellent
as we are in our own lanes.
We all that's what makes this a great team, because we all excel in different things.
That's why we're awesome together.
But we're not experts at everything.
In fact, there are many things that we're not experts in at all.
So guess what?
We're not going to try to do that stuff blindfolded.
We're bringing on professional service providers who can help with that, who can guide us, who
can help us prepare the blueprint for this working group structure that the DAO is going
That's why we're working with a legal team, MetaLaw.
These guys specialize in DAOs.
These guys specialize in offshore LLCs.
You know, we're working with accountants.
We're working with all sorts of different people, again, because we are the first, right?
We're the core working group.
Again, we handle all day-to-day operations of the DAO.
We're just getting started.
So if you're frustrated for the first 16 months, give us a shot.
We've only been together for two months, and we got lots planned.
But again, there's other working groups that are coming.
We've got Marketing and Communications, which was an outstanding AIP written, co-authored
by SSP, who's in the audience.
There's Metaverse coming, which was co-authored by Bad Teeth.
These are two of our best in the community.
These are outstanding initiatives that have already been passed, coming up for election for
stewards soon.
We need to put them in the best possible position that we can.
And that's also why we took our time making sure that we knew exactly when these elections
were going to come up, because we had to get our own house in order first, because we want
to make sure, again, as governance and as the first working group, that we build that blueprint
for the future, right?
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for sharing that.
Also, guys, there's still like five more days to vote, so you have time to read it, to learn
more about it, you know, to listen to, maybe re-listen to this space.
I would like to touch also on Machi.
I know you mentioned, guys, that you talked to him, but he mentioned in the comment that
AIP should ask for grants denominated in ApeCoin, not USD.
What would you, what would you reply or what did you reply to that?
Amp, you want to take that one?
I mean, so I think that's definitely, I mean, it's definitely like the heart is in the right
place in that, in terms of, of that kind of request.
The unfortunate reality, I would say, is that you, you simply just can't pay for these service
providers with Ape.
I mean, I've used this one as an example before.
Thankfully, Boring Security, our Discord, someone from Boring Security, his name's John
from, for our Discord security.
He does take Ape, but our lawyers, our accountants probably won't.
And then also, I know Notion doesn't take Ape.
I know Slack doesn't take Ape.
So a lot of the things that we do have to pay for just simply cannot be in ApeCoin.
It's a tough, it's, it's a tough reality of having to run any kind of organization or
corporation.
And then to be clear here too, I think that there's also a lot of confusion with that
comment that Machi made, because I think that a lot of people saw that and they're thinking
that we're not receiving the grant in Ape.
That is not correct.
So I want to be very, very, very clear to everyone here today that all funding that
we receive from the foundation, every, so whatever title you see on that, that is all
provided to us in Ape, right?
So when Amplify is talking about some of these services that we do have to pay for, that's
when they might get, that's when they might get swapped.
But we're not being issued anything other than ApeCoin, right?
I want to make that very, very clear.
And nor have we requested that, right?
So I just, that's a really, really important thing because it's a narrative that's starting
to float around right now that some people understood exactly what Machi meant, but a
lot of people don't.
And they're taking that like we're requesting funds or being issued funds in anything other
And that's simply not true.
And the last thing I'll say too is, look, I said it off the top, Machi's, we all love
Machi, he's very passionate.
If the Ape community as a whole, forget about ApeCoin for a second, didn't have Machi.
I mean, he is one of the most passionate guys out there.
Machi's shrewd though, right?
He's very shrewd.
That doesn't mean what he says doesn't make sense.
Again, we're all in very close contact with him.
I mean, private calls pretty regularly and stuff like that.
He's just shrewd, right?
But look, and on that kind of shrewd angle, there's two things I'm going to kind of say.
Number one, yeah, okay.
This is a six month budget, right?
Like, we all know how volatile cryptocurrencies are, right?
So if we've got these monthly fees that have to go out, forget about salaries and all that
kind of stuff, service providers, the initiatives that we're covering and all that kind of stuff,
we have to account for those now, right?
We have to account for those now, what those are going to cost.
The other thing I'll say too is, we invoice against the full bill, right?
The full budget.
So you see our budget, what our request is at the bottom, okay, $488,600, again, that is six months
of complete Dow-wide operations and everything that comes with that, okay?
But we don't necessarily get that all up at front.
We invoice the foundation against that.
So you'll see on our budget spreadsheet, everything's spread out over six months.
So, you know, five months from now when we've got to pay, I don't know, whatever,
we've already paid for Notion, but let's say Notion, I mean, whatever, that's a small thing,
but Amp just said it, if we've got to pay for that, what happens is we invoice the foundation,
the foundation then issues the ApeCoin based on the price of Ape the day before.
So you can imagine how inefficient, and it would absolutely crush us.
It would crush the whole group if we were to take that all, you know, in terms of ApeCoin,
however it is, the price at the time, right?
So again, sorry, I kind of botched that a little bit, but again, the point here is everything
stays with the foundation for this duration of six months, and on these monthly, you know,
every monthly bill that has to come out, we then invoice the foundation at that time,
and we're issued that amount in Ape based on the day before's price.
So a little confusing, but again, we're not taking it all up front.
It's a little unfair or unreasonable, really, to say that everything should be priced off the top,
because it just simply doesn't work like that in a volatile crypto, you know, world.
So that's why.
Oh, that's interesting.
I didn't know that.
So thank you for clarifying that.
I think these are amazing discussions, you know, to explain more stuff from ApeCoinDAO and how it works.
So absolutely, absolutely love that.
Tiger, do you want to add anything?
No, I feel like the guys up here summarized that really well.
Guys, what else would you say to people that are ready to vote?
You know, something really important, why they should vote for 317?
Yeah, well, I mean, absolutely.
There's a bunch of things.
I mean, without us, the Dow doesn't move.
And again, I mean, this isn't a show about Machi, but look, if you look at the voting right now,
I said it off the top, but there's a lot more people in the room.
Don't be discouraged, right?
Look, social proof is a thing.
And this is one of the things that I was talking about with Machi yesterday in a call on a private call with him.
I says, you know what, dude?
I get what you're doing.
I get what you're saying.
I get your viewpoint.
Sit on abstain.
Because social proof is a thing.
If you want to vote it down at the end, vote it down at the end, right?
Let us take a run at this.
Because when people land on the page to vote right now and they see this crazy lead, they go, oh, my God.
Meanwhile, it's five people that have voted this down, right?
And so Machi, you know, we're well beyond Machi's vote without Machi.
We've got huge delegations coming.
The Mochaverse, which is like a second home to me, you know, they've got our – there's huge votes coming.
Okay, that's 1.8 million votes.
I'm not going to list other delegations that haven't voted yet.
But promise me, there's a lot of firepower coming.
So what you're looking at right now with Machi's big vote, don't even sweat that.
This stuff's coming.
Now, that being said, I said it at the top, social proof is a thing.
And although these big delegations are coming that are going to even everything out, they take days to vote internally.
And, you know, the single voters like most of us in this room right now, sometimes when you look at a total like that, you go, oh, man, you know, whatever.
Or, oh, Machi voted it down.
Don't think like that.
If you believe in what we're talking about right now and you believe in what we're doing, vote.
You can vote up at the top.
If you look up in the nest, you can click that tweet.
There's a link right to Snapshot.
Put your vote in because that social proof matters.
Momentum matters.
We're not sweating it because we know these delegations are coming.
But we need everyone.
And we need everyone's support.
And as much as we love Machi, ApeCoin DAO is not Machi DAO, right?
And although Machi has his own good intentions and I respect the shit out of Machi, it's not Machi's DAO.
It's all of our DAO.
And although everything that we try to do right now might not be perfect, we're here to work with you, right?
We are here to work with you and make it better.
We're not just one person.
So keep that in mind, right?
Let's get some momentum going.
The delegations are coming.
Let's show this guy what's going on because that's what he told me too.
Because when I was telling him, dude, sit on abstain.
If you want to vote it down at the end, fine.
But give us a shot here in terms of like getting a little momentum going and stuff like that, right?
This is where it starts, right?
So let's make sure the DAO stays community focused and not around one dude.
Although I love Machi, okay?
Well said.
Thank you so much for sharing, guys.
Also, there was that AIP that actually you're not going to see who's voting for what, right?
I don't know when it's going to be available for voting, but I think that happened, right?
No, it was actually shot down twice.
It didn't go through?
I thought it won, so we're not going to see who won for who.
And I thought that it went true.
Can I also just add on to your last question while I have a chance?
I think another thing is like we are very nuclear and we're like just so within our own ecosystem that we forget that there are other DAOs out there that are watching us, the Apoin DAO.
Because we are kind of like the cool DAO of the club.
Like we're not about monetary legislations.
We're not about like trying to, I don't know, trying to change, like buying a city somewhere.
Like we're a social DAO.
We're trying to build culture into this metaverse that we envision and we're given this opportunity and like this is how we have to start off.
Like we need to have a little bit of structure so we can kind of hang with the other kids, the other DAO kids and be able to connect with them and see what's working for them and learn and give each other ideas and form this like larger ecosystem of builders on blockchain tech.
Like I think that's an important piece too.
We need to be able to support our inner community but also be able to expand that into the others too.
Yeah, that 100% makes sense and love that you said that there are other DAOs that are watching, you know, 100% agree, 100% agree with that.
And talking about interesting stuff, like the great example is actually ThinkApe, right?
Like the process for creators was so much easier than going through like AIP.
I see a few winners here actually in the audience.
So that was a really amazing example in my opinion.
Like how you can support builders, how can you create a process for them easier, you know?
So yeah, we're getting there step by step.
I know it takes time.
But yeah, love it.
Amplify, go ahead.
Yeah, speaking about ThinkApe, because that's just that brings up a couple of points that we've been looking at is really like the biggest hurdle.
And this has actually come up just recently a couple days ago is like, people feel right now that they don't really want to put their idea on the forum.
Because number one, it's going to take, you know, a month to get to vote.
Number two, it's going to be pretty hard to get it passed.
And that's kind of just been the reality of people call it the gauntlet, right?
Like the AIP gauntlet.
And like, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
I wouldn't want anyone to go through that gauntlet.
So like thinking of ways to provide, because we are a grants DAO, right?
We're a culture DAO, social DAO, grants DAO, whatever you want to call it.
But at the end of the day, if you look at what the ApeCoin DAO has, right?
It's just a singular product.
And that's the AIP process.
It's the ability to put up an idea and be funded for that idea.
So how do we make that as easy and as simple, but also accountable as possible?
And there's actually a couple of things that currently exist that we haven't been utilizing
that we're taking a really good look at now.
If you look through AIP1, there's actually a provision in there that if the costs and
implications of a particular proposal are clear, that it can go straight to vote, right?
It doesn't have to go to the special counsel's desk.
It doesn't have to go to the bottom of the pile of the stack of, you know, 20, 30 AIPs
on their desk, waiting for the next meeting that they have so they can discuss it, right?
It doesn't have to go through more review.
The community and quite frankly, the facilitation team should be enough in that regard.
So just building out the right policies and procedures for that so we can actually utilize
that tag without making any modifications to AIP1, because I think that's kind of like the
bedrock of our DAO is really important in what we've been looking at, like, greatly.
When we think, too, just speaking about the ThinkApe initiative, they recently did one
specifically for governance, and I thought that was really, really neat.
I think we should have that perpetually, right?
There should be a perpetually funded, I wouldn't say prop house, I wouldn't say, you know, whatever
it's going to be, but there should be a means to come forward to the DAO, propose your
process improvement, or your informational improvement, or some minor improvement, and
not have to go through, quote, the gauntlet, right?
Like, it should be simple and straightforward, like, hey, you've got a great idea, let's
encourage that, let's grow that, let's fund that.
It took time for you to build that, like, reward those people.
Yeah, these are super, super important, and just, like, two little quick ones.
Number one, ThinkApe, an incredible group over there, as everybody knows.
That's an AIP, right?
So, just so everybody in this room knows, where ThinkApe came from, that was an AIP that
went through the grants process at ApeCoinDAO, so that's one of our most proud, so impactful,
It's an incredible program to complement ThinkApe and some of the great initiatives that they've
put out, and to piggyback off of what Amp just said, if you look at our budget, there's
the community governance, there's the governance improvement program, right?
And what that is, is we have a small budget, I think it's, not off the top of my head,
it's either $2,000 or $2,500 a month that we've allotted.
This is for community members who come to us and they say, hey, listen, we got this
idea, you know, a small idea, right?
We got this idea, maybe this might work better on, I don't know, Discord, or this might make
things better on the process of, you know, whatever the case may be, the AIP draft template
or something.
We could think about changing the words here.
And if we huddle up and we go, yeah, you know what?
That is not a bad idea.
We can then, we can provide the community back with something like that.
So again, it's a small amount, I think it's $2,000 or $2,500 a month, and that is strictly
allotted to provide community members with small amounts of ApeCoin for process improvement
ideas, right?
And so again, bringing it back to the community, right?
We're managing this whole thing, but we're managing on behalf of you, right?
This is our DAO, right?
It's for everyone.
And again, this is two months old, this team, right?
We're just getting started.
This kind of stuff just has not happened before.
And without us, quite frankly, it's not going to happen in the future.
And I absolutely love that you guys mentioned the talented people in the community, right?
Like, look at this room.
Like, it's insane.
Like, I will go through a few people that I have, you know, it's from top of the bottom,
bottom, but I see Baron here, right?
With outer space.
Every Thursday since the first trip, absolutely insane.
Sarah, incredible artist, Phil, you know, Boring Media, Batteed, Mimo, Rita, oh my God, insane.
Law of the Soul, you know, we're going to have an amazing night on Thursday in Bored Silly.
So, there are so many talented people in the community, right?
I could go, I could probably name everyone in this room right now.
Artis, Darko, you know, Mr. Etc., Nova, Joyce.
I could really name everyone here in this space right now.
You know, they are doing such a great job, you know, and helping other people and bringing more stuff.
So, I think supporting these people is amazing and if it's going to be easier for them and maybe if they be, or not they,
but maybe if we be less scared to actually go through that process, you know, and put it there.
I already talked to Lost that I have an idea for AIP.
You just type the number of your ape there and it will change the background to Aquamarine.
So, he was like, no, don't do that.
I was like, okay, okay, I'm not going to do it, but maybe Beast said the same.
So, but no, I'm just kidding here.
But we have so many talented people here in the community.
So, make it easier for them and encourage them.
I think that's the way.
So, yeah, guys, if you want to share anything, I would like to invite more people on stage and circle around, say hi to Peter.
Like the last words of the...
That sounds terrible.
But whatever you want to share, guys, about the AIP, go ahead.
Just get out and vote.
So, you look up at the top there in that pinned tweet.
There's a link to the snapshot.
Like I said, we've got lots of delegations coming, but we need all the community support.
Momentum's a thing.
Again, if you like what we're doing, if you like what we're saying, support it.
Get out and vote.
Use your voice.
Every vote counts.
And we appreciate all of you.
Incredible.
I'll just echo the same thing.
Go out and vote.
I mean, it's super early.
It's only been up for a day, two days.
And in the last round of voting, there were 17 million something ApeCoin voting.
So, I know it's out there.
I know there's a lot more to come.
Just vote early and have conviction, you know?
Love that.
Thank you so much, guys, for joining us, for sharing.
That's definitely one of our things, you know.
We started to put more attention to IP, and we definitely want to bring more attention
to ApeCoin, so we can also talk about how to do that.
Really excited about it, because we are all in this together.
We all want to succeed, you know, win together in this space, so that's amazing.
That's why we're here, you know, and can't wait for the future, you know.
So, thank you so much, guys.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for staying up here with us on stage.
If you want to stay here, you're really welcome here.
And I want to say hi to the legend on stage, you know, the blue Ape with a beautiful eye,
with the best three-point shooter in the game.
The legend himself.
Peter, I hope you're here.
If not, it's still okay.
Oh, I think Peter is playing ball.
Yeah, he's chilling here.
I knew that.
But, guys.
Oh, he's here.
I knew that.
Holy shit.
I didn't realize I was still on stage.
Let's fucking go.
That's how it works, man.
You don't rest in the middle.
You rest in the end.
No, I just wanted to say that I put the phone down.
I didn't realize I was still on stage.
I thought I hopped off already earlier.
But, you know, really informative.
Thanks for sharing everything.
Everybody from the ApeCoin DAO.
But I actually initially came up here to congratulate you guys on the episode.
And also, there was just a lot of orange backgrounds down there.
So, I just needed the space to get away from it.
No, but seriously, guys.
Thank you so much for the information.
I actually did have a question for the ApeCoin DAO.
If anybody wants to answer it.
I'm curious as to why.
And I think All City touched on the fact that, you know, Machi is shrewd.
And he doesn't, you know, really vote the way most people would think they should vote or whatever it is.
But what were his reasons as far as, like, voting things down, like, this time around?
So, he did, thankfully, and I love when people do this.
He did leave a comment on the snapshot.
So, essentially, it was, like, asking that the grant be denominated in ApeCoin and not U.S. dollars.
And then he also wants more automation.
And so, I've spoken to him about this before.
And really, the solution to, like, what his concerns are is an on-chain treasury.
Like, a deployment.
So, not a multi-sig, not Coinbase, but a smart contract, a fork of Compound's Governor Bravo, which gives the ApeCoin token holders access to that treasury.
It would be like an on-chain AIP process.
So, there is no special counsel to review your improvement proposal.
There is no facilitation team to move it through any kind of phases.
You just propose an idea to the smart contract, the token holders vote, and then the funds are distributed autonomously.
I was just going to say, we're not there yet.
It's an incredibly thoughtful exercise, and it's not something that we can just, you know, deploy and throw out there.
And, Peter, just to piggyback off of Amplify there, look, Machi isn't so much against anything that we're doing.
Machi just kind of wants to see things that Machi wants to see, like Amp was talking about, before putting out any other kind of funds.
So, on one hand, you're kind of going, okay, I get that.
But, on the other hand, we're talking about governance and operations here, right?
And that's where it gets really tricky.
You know, we all know, well, most of us probably know he's sitting on a huge bag months back for, well, for years, right?
Or a good year or whatever.
And he got rid of his ape.
And that was kind of his whole, you know, he got rid of his ape a few months back because he didn't want to see grants going out or anything until he saw more things that he wanted sort of on the back end.
So, it's really not so much that Machi, it's not even that Machi's really, like, opposed to anything that we're doing.
He just wants to see certain things implemented before the DAO is putting out more funding.
And, again, you know, logical with some aspects.
But in other aspects, like keeping the DAO moving in day-to-day operations, it just doesn't work.
And one of the things that I was talking to him about, you know, on the call was, like, you know, bro, like, this is a whole community, right?
And we need to make sure the community stays intact and stays moving together and stays in unison and stuff.
These changes can all be looked at, right?
But we need to make sure that the community is still kind of together here.
We don't want to blow everything up.
But, again, you know, Machi's Machi and that's how he sees it.
But just to kind of reiterate, yeah, he wants to see a little bit more automation, which is something that we're certainly not opposed to.
We need to look at that stuff.
And, yeah, he's just thrifty right now because he wants to see some of those changes before anything else.
But, again, this is governance and operations, man.
This is day-to-day stuff.
This is what makes the DAO move here.
Do you guys think from the long-term perspective it's where the ApeCoin DAO is going to on-chain treasury, like, once the technology is ready and, like, from a little longer point of view?
I think so, definitely.
And this is kind of the beauty of the DAO is it's not really up to anybody, right?
If I wanted to deploy the on-chain treasury, I could tomorrow.
Certainly getting funding into that treasury, that's not up to me.
But the technology does exist.
It's just how we do it.
And then, also, I would kind of extend, like, just piggybacking off of your thought, I think even more so than that, there's an entire protocol for us to govern.
It doesn't exist yet.
It's not there yet.
But that's really what the ApeCoin ecosystem is or is aspiring to be, right, is an entire ecosystem, a protocol, a product, something, some thing to use, right?
And I don't want to say, you know, ApeCoin or whatever, but if you look at the reality of the situation is it's difficult to spend, you know, a $4 or $5 ETH transaction to, you know, upgrade a tile or whatever it is.
And you're, like, buy some gears or pay for, you know, to speed up your other side land development or whatever it is.
There does need to be a protocol for the token holders to govern.
So, with that being said, like, how far do you guys feel like you guys are from that?
Like, if you guys had to guess, like, what's your guys' strategy or plan to reach that and how long do you think it'll take to get there?
Do you want to comment on Board AG and what he was talking about yesterday?
Remind me.
I'm not sure.
I think, okay, I don't want to speak for anyone, but I believe that there is work being done in that direction.
Again, I'm not going to speak for anyone, but I believe that there's work being done in that direction right now.
Yeah, for the protocol side, I think that's definitely a lot of a bigger question.
For the on-chain treasury aspect, I'd say, like, bare minimum, another couple months, four months.
I would say, like, to be more optimistic, probably February 2024.
Oh, that surprised me.
I expected something like a couple of years, right, in general with Web3.
So, yeah, that's interesting.
Peter, are you happy with the answer?
Yeah, I mean, I'm taking this as kind of like a learning opportunity, right?
Well, first of all, I didn't realize I was still on stage, but I was listening to it the whole time, and I was just, like, you know, making sure that, you know, it does make a lot of sense.
I do understand, like, where, you know, where the governance are all coming from, especially with the needing people to kind of guide and work on the day-to-day stuff.
So that's the reality, right?
But also, like, you know, setting real deadlines are kind of a thing, too.
You know what I mean?
So I think if the expectations are out there, then we'll have something to look forward to, and then essentially people will know what's next and so on and so forth.
And that's pretty much it.
But, like, you know, yeah, thanks.
You know, you mentioned, like, to have something to look forward.
It reminds me the Ethereum merge, right?
The merge day when we were all looking forward for that.
I think it was September 15th back then, last year.
And we were all, we had that mission, right, to get, like, within a couple of months, we're going to be there.
Ethereum's going to move from proof of work to proof of stake.
And I agree with you, Peter, that it's nice to have something, you know, like, a couple of months ahead so that we all know that we are getting targets.
And we know also the reason why are we getting there.
Yeah, I mean, I think that's huge, right?
Like, you know, it's, I get that it's constantly, like, building the foundation from scratch, essentially, is what you guys are saying you're doing.
But also, you know, having something to look forward to simultaneously, too, whether it be, you know, the protocol or whatever it may be, right?
Like, there's a lot going on.
And I think if there were things more constantly that were put out to, you know, I guess more, like, tool-oriented or something like that, that'd be really helpful.
Yeah, so this is, I think, a good opportunity to touch on a few of the OKRs in our proposal.
And so that stands for, as most people are familiar with KPIs, right, key performance indicators.
It doesn't work so much in a more of, like, a conceptual environment like the governance working group.
So we've chosen OKRs or objectives and key results.
And so a couple of those that we're looking at, I think, these are informational things that exist across every DAO except for ours.
But docs, technical documentation, right, how to integrate your, how to integrate ApeCoin into your ecosystem or how to use the staking contracts on top of your DAP or how to interact with the snapshot, technical docs, and then governance docs, right?
So if you look at the older, kind of like, well, every AIP, if you look at AIP1, you know, that's outdated.
It says there's an election every year.
That's not true.
There's an election twice a year, right, every six months.
So a living document of all of the governance AIPs that affect any other AIP and what the current meta is, right, what the current state of governance is.
And then partial delegation.
So we've got, we're working with, if this proposal passes, we're going to be working with Agora, who did the NounsDAO Agora and also the Uniswap Foundation Agora, which is just kind of a, it's the discourse, the forum, and the snapshot plugged into one platform, right?
So you don't have to go back and forth.
You can read the whole proposal.
You can vote in the same place.
And one of the most powerful pieces of their platform is the ability to partially delegate your tokens.
So if you're not familiar with delegation, if you have, like, 5 million ApeCoin in your wallet, you only can delegate a lump sum all or once, like all or nothing, to one single address.
And this can be really detrimental for some of the bigger token holders, specifically Yuga, the founders, the investors, the launch contributors, the market makers, all of these people who could be voting but aren't, out of fear of swinging the vote because their bags are so incredibly large.
that it would affect the outcome of the vote, giving them the tools to, the ability to say, hey, okay, we've got 10 million ApeCoin.
Let's pick 10 delegates and delegate a million ApeCoin to each delegate.
And this kind of increases the overall efficacy of the governance process, right?
Because it's no longer a single person dictating the outcome of any vote.
It's now an incredibly robust, highly active voting system.
Yeah, and on the full proposal, too, Peter, this stuff is important to us, and we want to make sure that we're really kind of painting a clear picture.
So on the proposal, there is, we've got eight OKRs listed on there, right?
That keeps us accountable, right?
We want to make sure that the community knows they can go, okay, well, you guys said you were going to do this.
You said you were going to do that.
You know, what's going on, right?
So we've got eight very clear OKRs on top of all of our day-to-day stuff as well, right?
So that was really, really important for us to put in there and for the community, right?
Yeah, the whole point of that is, you know, come February, if we don't accomplish all of these OKRs, there's little reason to approve our next budget, right?
And that's an accountability layer for all the working groups, right?
You say what you're going to do, and you do it, and you do that before you request any more funding.
Yep, that makes sense, 100%.
Oh, that's a really informative episode, actually.
I was thinking about, you know, the last 100 episode celebration.
It was just crazy, you know?
It was just wild.
But today we also learned a lot, so thank you so much, guys, for sharing everything.
I also pinned the post from Rita.
Oh, my God, he's so good, and he did this crazy animation of my ape, also of my coda.
But this is so beautiful.
So I talk about talented people in this community, and it's absolutely insane.
So love that.
Also, something crazy is happening in the comments.
I don't know what is that, but if you go there, you will see just orange, you know, people playing games like slot machines.
I saw Pancho's pop-in food, you know, the Sandman's ape.
I see so many.
Tiger started that probably with connecting four orange apes.
Crazy, crazy, but thank you for that.
I love it.
You can keep it shorter.
Tiger, it just looks beautiful down there in the comments.
I see a lot of orange, and it feels really good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, got it, got it.
I cannot kick out the co-host.
Yeah, I don't know.
Elon, can you do something with that?
But I can remove you from co-host.
Oh, okay, forget it.
Oh, come on.
I don't want to get punched in the face, but guys, if you want to join us on stage, just request.
I see many familiar faces, so if you want to hop in, say hi, do it.
We'll be, like, wrapping up in, like, I don't know.
We'll see, we'll see, we'll see.
But we keep going.
Showbiz, how are you doing today?
What's good, man?
Hey, what's up, Grateful?
I'm doing great.
How are you guys doing?
How's everyone doing?
We are super pumped, man, celebrating.
I think I also mentioned your story.
It's absolutely unbelievable.
So are you also part of ApeCoin DAO?
Do you have some ApeCoin?
I do actually vote.
I was actually reading over the proposal, and I was seeing this dashboard is going to
track everything for, like, the ApeCoin DAO.
But one of the questions I had was, like, for the people who are getting these grants,
I would say, I guess, from the ApeCoin DAO, is there something, is there something in place
to track their expenditures, like, what they're spending the funds on?
You know, is there, like, do they have to supply, like, documentation, things like that?
This is definitely something we could ask for.
For a few of them, I think specifically, like, the dashboard, that's fairly straightforward.
There is kind of just really one delivery item, you know, like, deliver it, and then
we'll plug it into the subdomain, the vote.apecoin.com.
So, I guess my answer is, like, it depends, right?
Like, if it's an engagement with a service provider who's consistently performing a service,
like Discord security, certainly.
But for these one-off kinds of engagements, I'm not really sure if we need to ask them,
like, how they're spending their funds.
But definitely what we are trying to move towards is an RFP sort of environment, right,
where we say, hey, look, this is the problem.
We would like you to come forward and propose your solution.
And so not just picking a service provider, but really putting the call out to all the
service providers and say, hey, who's got the best idea?
Okay, cool.
Yeah, we just want to make sure the people who are actually, you know, getting these AIPs approved
are spending the money, the funds, you know, legitimately, you know, yeah.
Yeah, showbiz, yeah, I don't know if Lost wants to chime in here as well, but the facilitators
are doing an outstanding job with following up with the IP authors these days as well.
This is something that's relatively new, but you can go check it out on Discourse, Lost,
12 Gauge, Cryptologically Chris, they're all reaching out, they're doing these little interviews,
and there's a lot more of that to come.
So they've just kind of started here and kind of creating this database and doing this outreach
in the last month or so.
So be on the lookout for a lot more of that.
Yeah, and I want to add, for our work, not only our working group, but all working groups,
they do have reporting requirements, right?
So ours is quarterly, we put out progress and budget reports.
And so the governance working group as a whole is coming up on its fourth month, but I was
the only steward for the first two, and our expenses are pretty low.
So the first progress report should be coming kind of in the first half of October.
We're working on it right now.
Cool, appreciate it.
I really have fun playing Connect 4 with Tiger.
Oh man, it was a fun space.
Another one!
Another one!
Oh my god.
But fortunately, I read the comment, all city or background is aquamarine.
We are saved!
Peter, all city and me, we are holding!
Damn, that's tough, that's tough.
But yeah, love old backgrounds.
I'm just kidding, guys.
You know that.
But if you don't know that, I do.
I was low-key hoping that all the aquamarines would see that and be like, we gotta go raid it.
I mean, I feel like you gotta go out there and just gotta change a few of them for them
just to upgrade them a little bit, just like you've been doing in the past.
Yeah, yeah, I'll do that.
I'll share it after the space, you know, I'll do that.
And that's gotta be like pre-AIP test round, you know, so I will show you how your apes
can look with aquamarine background and it's always better, trust me.
Full support here, full support from you.
Do you guys also play slot machines in the comments?
Everyone does.
Everyone does.
Oh, and also, I have to check the comments because Rita also, such a beautiful 3D renders
Oh my god, Captain, grateful there in the comments.
It's beautiful.
Oh, I can't wait for the other side.
Can you imagine guys hosting this on the other side, running around, doing quests, you know,
having, drinking that 288 whiskey by bad teeth, you know, in other Space FM club.
Oh my god, those amazing Sarah, Sarah's drawings or illustrations on the walls.
It's like a dream.
Can't wait.
Can't wait.
Hopefully soon.
Beast, do you have anything else that you would like to add today, guys?
Also, if you still want to join us on stage, just request, you know, just say hi, whatever.
We'd love to have you here on stage.
But Beast, go ahead.
Yeah, thank you for all the explanation, guys.
Like, you did an amazing job.
Also, if anyone wants to check it out deeper, the proposal is pinned up so you can go there.
You're going to see also, like, the timeline and the budget and all the items that are there.
So it's really well written and easy to understand.
And yeah, man, I mean, I also expected we're going to have, like, a crazy celebration vibe and we had it.
But we also had it informative today, which is even more amazing.
It's like a yin and yang, bro.
It's like the balance.
And I love it.
I also love that more communities join us today.
You know, I see Jesus, that Mochaverse MFR, man.
He's crazy.
He's everywhere.
He's doing so much.
So thank you, Jesus.
I also see CryptoPunk Darko.
I see Mutant House.
I see Payman and his special PFP.
I see Vic.
So many amazing, you know, communities here in the space.
So World of Women, if I'm correct, or Galaxy.
So absolutely love that.
That's why we did one with Azuki last time.
Because we all are in this space together.
And, oh, Darko.
Darko, he requested.
He requested.
I called him out.
Oh, my God.
It's getting dangerous here.
Oh, he's coming up.
He's coming up.
Let's fucking go.
I don't know.
I don't know what to expect.
I don't know.
I actually think Darko did episode number one with us.
Since then, we're sending him ETH.
So he joined time to time.
I love his glasses.
But Darko, how are you doing, man?
What's good?
Yeah, man.
Fucking congrats on 200 episodes.
I'm so proud of you and so happy for you.
Fucking love you.
I'm just checking the database.
You were part of the episode number one.
And I remembered the call and you were like, guys, you have no chance to do 200 episodes.
But if you do, I send you, I send you mutant.
You know, I send you mutant if you do it.
Here we go, Darko.
So thank you so much for joining.
And I can't wait to pick one with, you know, maybe not orange background, but.
The mutant is already, Beast has it.
Like I sent him the mutant like a lot earlier.
Like 300 episodes.
So congrats on your mutant, Beast.
Darko, I have to say it once again.
Like, thank you so much.
It's insane that like every 100 episodes you send us a mutant or ape or you said 300 episodes,
that's going to be a CryptoPunk or something.
Three CryptoPunks.
Oh my God.
You're a legend.
But it's so awesome to be on this journey together, right?
Like, it's crazy.
Episode number one.
It was February 24th, 2022.
Oh my God.
Feels like ages.
You were there.
It's absolutely insane.
And we were talking about how to build an NFT project.
People were building new NFT projects back in 2022.
Wild days.
Wild days.
Man, you would receive a Soulbound token if this thing was on chain, you know, for being
here since the day one.
And a drink, please.
Maybe better, right?
Maybe better than some like Soulbound token.
Let's do the drink.
Drink and chocolate.
The chocolate you guys have, like, they're fucking amazing.
Guys, listening to this, I'm really sorry for all of you that will meet me in Hong Kong.
I'm sorry.
It's going to be pumped.
It's going to be crazy.
I'll bring some stickers and maybe I'll bring too much, too many stickers for you because
it will be wild.
Can't wait, actually.
Just a friendly suggestion to everyone that's going in Hong Kong.
Wear a back protector.
Like, trust me, if grateful you see from the back, like, you're fucked.
You're back.
That's the energy.
That's the vibe, man.
But, oh my God.
I can't wait, guys.
Maybe that's a great topic.
Are you excited about Hong Kong?
I know many of you guys.
I know Darko you're not going, but you'll be representing in Paris, actually.
But, yeah, I didn't want to hurt you.
But anyone else on the stage who's going?
You know what?
I just got back from Hong Kong for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
What did you do there, man?
You were, like, checking the venue and everything?
Well, I went out there for the Elite Apes two-year anniversary, and then I linked up
with some Animoca people and stuff.
And, oh my God, what an amazing place.
Like, I'm not joking.
I would move there.
Anybody who's got the opportunity to get to Ape Fest but you're on the fence, get out
I'm an English speaker.
I got by just fine.
I mean, the whole service industry, everybody out there can get by with English.
Amazing, amazing people.
It just...
Oh my God.
I just love Hong Kong and I cannot wait to get back.
So, just if you can get out there, go.
You'll thank yourself.
Just get out there.
I love it.
And I also love that you mentioned you're an English speaker.
I'm not even an English speaker.
So, it's maybe going to be tougher for me there.
But I know I'm going for those dim sum.
I'm going for that hike, guys, that we have to put together.
We have to organize it.
We have to go for that amazing hike with that incredible view.
And I've been talking about it for, like, months.
But we probably still don't have any group.
Probably great start of the Ape Fest, right?
So, if you are for the hike, we should put something together.
I heard that the hikes are amazing out there.
That's what everybody says.
There's kind of three parts of Hong Kong, I think, right?
There's the Hong Kong Island.
There's Kowloon, which is where Ape Fest is going on.
And then there's new territories.
And I think new territories is where all the hikes are.
But everybody was telling me about that.
So, I'd be down with that for sure.
100% same here.
So, it's going to be epic.
It's going to be wild.
And I love this concept, right?
We will have time to actually chat, connect, network.
Oh, my God.
Play basketball, do some hiking.
It's going to be epic.
I'm really looking forward, actually.
I'm pumped for that.
Guys, what's going to happen with the time zone?
One more thing.
How we do spaces?
Like, because 8 p.m., we have 8 p.m. CT.
And I think it's going to be morning in Asia, right?
Or something like that.
It's going to be late.
So, how we do that?
It looks like it's 2 a.m.
It looks like it's 2 a.m. there right now.
So, we probably do that metaverse time that Tiger actually talked about at the beginning.
And that's the way.
We fuck the time zones.
I guess so.
Like, I don't know what's the plan with the 8 p.m.
Like, when does it end?
Whether it's like 2 a.m., 3 a.m., 5 a.m.
But I think it's probably not the best idea to do it, like, straight after.
Because, you know, it might go a little more crazy.
Showbiz, go ahead.
Hey, what's up?
So, I am going to 8-Fest.
And guess what?
It's my birthday at the start of 8-Fest.
Oh, no way!
Looking forward to connecting with everyone, you know, that we talk to daily in the spaces,
you know, and just meeting everyone.
I cannot wait, man.
And, you know, we have a tradition that's so good.
Because on a birthday, we do push-ups.
And we do a lot of push-ups.
So, can't wait, man, to record it and share it.
You will have fun.
Yeah, the third is my birthday.
We're going to party, though.
That's amazing.
We also have one tradition that we go to a restaurant.
And the person who's got a birthday, like, they pay for everyone.
So, we order, like, all the stuff like crazy.
We go all in.
And it's fucking epic, man.
I got you, Beast and Grateful.
That's why I don't have to even speak English there.
Because I'll be like, I will translate.
Give me everything you have.
Showbiz is spank, you know.
So, we good.
We good, you know.
That's got to be epic.
But, super excited about today's episode, guys.
Like, thank you so much for joining us.
It's such an epic journey.
We basically have so many amazing episodes ahead on Tuesday.
I know there is a, on Monday, actually, there is a board IP meetup.
I think that actually won also ThankApe, right?
Our products will be showcased there.
It's in a beautiful Lion's Milk, Brooklyn place, close to the Brooklyn wall,
which will probably celebrate.
It's been almost two years since the wall, right?
It's fucking crazy.
I think in two or three weeks, we're there.
Oh my gosh, this is the Brooklyn wall, Niebuhr.
So, exciting times ahead, guys.
We're going to invite people that will join the, if you're going, if you're going to the meetup,
join us on Tuesday.
We want to have as many people as possible to talk about the experience.
I believe it's going to be unbelievable.
And then, then we have another community episode on Saturday.
We will be in Bored Silly on Thursday.
It's got to be wild.
I think Baron and Nana will be there on Wednesday or Thursday, too.
It's going to be fun.
It's a comedy club.
I think it's supported by BAYC Consul.
Peter, you probably know about it, right?
Did you hear about it?
Yeah, 100%.
You should.
Yeah, I got the memo.
No, no, no.
We're pretty excited about it.
You know, it's the first Metaverse type of community event that we're trying to support.
And, you know, we know the guys have been working really hard on this one.
So, it should be fun.
Yeah, it looks absolutely amazing.
Actually, Aaron, he was like, don't try to be funny because whenever you put a pressure
and whenever you say it's going to be funny, it's always, you know, bad.
So, don't do that.
So, it's going to be absolutely boring, guys.
It's going to be terrible.
But, join us anyway.
You know, join us anyway.
There's a slight percent chance that it's going to be fun.
But, no pressure.
We're going to do the worst warm-up ever.
The worst that anyone ever experienced.
Yeah, exactly.
No expectations.
No road map, you know.
Nothing like that.
But, yeah.
Guys, I think if anyone want to join us, now is the time to request.
And, I think we are slowly, slowly about to wrap it up.
I want to thank everyone who joined us on stage today.
Such a legend.
Thank you so much for sharing all the alpha about ApeCoinDAO, about AIP317.
We definitely want to go deeper into ApeCoinDAO.
We definitely want to share more stuff about ApeCoinDAO to bring more people into the DAO,
to be more engaged.
So, guys, if anyone want to say something, share anything, something that we maybe forgot
that you want to say, go ahead.
I will just go through the comments to check it out.
If there's something else, then Orange Background, you know.
But, it doesn't seem like that.
But, we'll see.
We'll see.
So, go ahead, guys.
I just wanted to say thank you to Beast and grateful.
I mean, this is a huge accomplishment, like I said at the top.
I'm really grateful for you to invite us on your big day.
It means a lot to us at a very important time for us.
Just a huge congrats.
And, just a reminder, AIP317, this is Governance and Operations, everyone.
If you like what we're talking about, vote.
It's very, very important to us.
And, again, huge congrats on 200 episodes.
Oh, my God.
I'm going to invite myself to episode 300.
So, I'll be seeing everybody then and a bunch of times in between.
Everyone's invited for sure.
Can't wait.
But, I also got Law of the Soul on stage.
How you doing?
See you on Thursday.
Yo, yo, yo.
Hey, you asked if anybody wanted to come up and say something.
So, I thought I'd come up and say something.
I knew that.
I knew that.
I love it.
I think that isn't that from Pulp Fiction.
So, it's basically 60 years after Tino was born.
Pulp Fiction was like 94, right?
So, I think I'm about to correct.
What a great joke.
I think we should open the night on Thursday.
Do you have anything else to share with us?
Or something?
No, I'm looking forward to Bored Silly.
It's going to be my first Metaverse Ape event.
Which might be the first Metaverse Ape.
I don't know.
But, it's going to be a lot of fun.
There's going to be a lot of jokes.
There's going to be some great music.
And some great entertainment.
That's Ape-centric.
And I'm really looking forward to it.
I can't wait, actually, for Thursday.
We actually have a call with your team tomorrow to figure out how to set it up.
And, yeah.
Have five people call your people.
They do that.
And they figure this stuff out, right?
We just show up and do the show.
Love that.
Darko, thank you so much also for joining us today, man.
You're the legend.
How do you say that, guys?
The legend.
The cryptopunk.
The Darko.
Love that you joined us today.
It's crazy.
From episode 1 to episode 200.
Wild ride, man.
Wait, wait, wait.
Am I not an ape?
I'm just a cryptopunk for you?
Man, like, I love punks, you know.
And I don't have one.
So, I thought that you'd be happy that I'll call you cryptopunk.
Yeah, but you're an ape, too.
And the background is obviously a background.
Yeah, I know.
I figured, man.
But, okay.
So, the myth.
The legend.
The cryptopunk.
Any other NFTs you want to add into your intro?
Yeah, and there's got to be a cryptodigbot.
And Super Yeti.
And Bonsai.
And I don't know what else.
Darko, you know.
So, I can keep going.
The Zed Run.
What else?
Oh, my God.
Darko's been around for a while.
Love you, man.
Thank you so much for joining.
Thank you also.
I was just thinking how many episodes we were telling Darko that he's the naked ape on the
I think it had to be like the first 100 episodes at least, no, Darko?
Yeah, I still have the TNS, though.
He's a naked pink ape, right?
I have the naked ape.
After NFT NYC, he was streaking through the streets.
That's why we call him Darko the Pink the Naked Ape, you know.
And I learned, actually, that word streaking from the movie called...
What was the name of that?
Old School.
Yeah, from the movie Old School.
Will Ferrell.
It reminded me Darko.
Will Ferrell.
Yeah, Will Ferrell.
Darko did the same, you know.
We caught him with our car.
We were like, Darko, what you doing?
And he was like, hey, follow me, guys.
Okay, I've got you.
We got you.
We got you.
So, absolutely love that.
Thank you for joining, man.
Thank you, Showbiz.
You're the legend, man.
You jump into the club like the man.
So, love it.
You have to have so much fun, man.
From, like, buying Mutant, going fucking Weekend, going to Hong Kong, going to Spaces, buying ApeCoin, voting.
Crazy, man.
I need more stories like that.
So, thank you so much, everyone.
Peter, Amplify, All City Tiger, The Lost, The Lost Orange Background.
Anyone, guys, if you want to share, unmute, go ahead.
I'll shut up right now.
Well, yeah.
Thanks, GratefulApe, for sharing.
I woke up today.
I'm going to be honest.
I forgot I was supposed to be here, but they sent the link in the chat.
They reminded me.
And shout-out to you for letting us join you.
It's like a birthday.
It's like a centennial anniversary, but it still feels like a birthday.
So, shout-out to you for letting us come up here and talk about all this stuffy governance stuff on an exciting day, a super exciting day.
And, yeah, shout-out to everyone in the audience, too, a bunch of familiar faces.
If anybody ever has any questions about any of this stuff, feel free to reach out to us.
Yeah, that's it.
Not everything in there is for everybody, so no pressure on all this voting.
There was a lot of talk about voting, but there is no pressure from anybody.
Obviously, it's all public.
So, we love you all regardless of the outcome of this.
Vote AIP 317, governance and operations.
I knew he wasn't going to let me get away with that.
There was no shot.
Grateful Beast, Tino.
This show is so awesome.
Like, the energy in here on a Saturday, this is, like, so awesome.
I was, like, on my Peloton, and I just straight up wrote 40 miles.
Just, I don't know what that is in kilometers, but I just wrote 40 miles listening to you guys.
Just, like, eating up that energy.
I'm, like, hyped for our AIP now.
Like, this is exactly what we needed to get us started.
I absolutely love it, Tiger.
And I'm just wondering.
I'm just wondering, you know, is there, like, a different, can you compare, like, spaces that,
and your, like, Peloton results?
Like, are there some spaces that, you know, that you do longer distance, or you just go faster,
or, and some that, you know, that maybe you're not even finished around?
So, usually, so, like, I usually ride in the morning, so I tend to catch, like, coffee with
Captain pretty frequently, and then, you know, sometimes it's a little, like, I'm, like, drinking
my coffee, so it might be a little bit slower, but with your show off the bat, we had that
music pumping, we got the energy going, so I was, like, running.
It was, yeah, so in the middle of it, I'm, like, huffing and puffing, and I'm, like,
they don't want to hear that.
I can't turn my mic on right now.
I fucking love it, and I know now, grateful that any time we see Tiger, that she's in
the, she's here, we have to, we have to pump it up, you know?
We have to pump it up.
Cheer and pump it.
I actually, guys, you know, Metasik joined us earlier, and we did that math thing.
I actually DM him.
He told me that 40 miles is actually 4,269 kilometers, so congrats on that, such an accomplishment.
That's huge.
And I love that.
So, yeah, Beast, anything else?
I think we have one more member, and we kind of, like, we forget about him a lot.
And I think, yeah.
Do you think about the same member as I do?
Yeah, we just don't call his name, but that's the guy.
Does he or she do any, like, sound?
I miss him, guys.
I miss him.
He was here every episode, but we kind of let him in the background, you know?
He's kind of like Darko.
He's been here since the episode one.
Yeah, and he's also naked, but really hairy.
Okay, stop here.
Stop here.
Stop here.
Okay, okay.
That was enough.
That was enough.
But yeah, that's it, Chewbacca.
That's our friend.
And yeah, guys, I want to thank, really, thank everyone who's joining us, you know, who joined
us today, who support us, and everyone who support other people in this community.
I see many of the builders in the space right now.
It's an amazing journey.
And I think the huge thing is that we are here for each other, right?
We support each other, and we help each other to actually grow and to push this space
forward, and we meet each other IRL soon.
So if you're going to Hong Kong, it's going to be a lot of fun.
If not, we're going to meet somewhere else.
There's going to be, there are going to be events in Europe, Asia, America, you know,
everywhere.
I know more stuff is coming, so that's really exciting, and I can't wait.
So please go ahead.
I will find a song to actually pump the end of this crazy episode 201.
Thank you, everyone, also from my side.
It really means a lot, and it makes things definitely easier and thousand percent more
enjoyable, like seeing you all here, and like scrolling through the audience, and seeing
all the support.
It's fucking amazing.
So thank you so much.
We're not stopping.
We keep fucking going.
And yeah, much love.
You guys always welcome and appreciate it.
Let's go, man.
And Payman just sent me hearts, so Payman is also the legend since day one, so such
epic people.
I also want to say hi to Atare, who just joined us on stage.
Let's fucking go, Atare.
Let's fucking go, Atare.
We got to send it to him.
And maybe, you know, let's go to 10 KTF champs.
You know, I check also the schedule, and we have them very, very early, you know, explaining
Love that.
And yeah, let's go, everybody.
Have a great Saturday.
Enjoy such a beautiful day.
Go follow people on stage.
Send them DMs, you know.
You know, you can slide to the DMs, you know.
You see Tiger here, All City, Peter, Lost, Amplify, Showbiz, Darko.
Just go there.
Send them hi.
Send them whatever you want.
Ask them about the ApeCoinDial, AIP's, background color, basketball, everything.
Do it, and have fun, guys.
I'm from the ApeCin.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Ooh, what, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Kind of light.
I'm far away from nowhere.
On my own, like tides and more.
I don't see.
I fled over, I should cross the forest, monkey business, on a sunny afternoon.
Shine the light, I'm leading in the open.
And you think that there is all.
Burning bright, I thought it blurs a signal to the sky.
I still wonder, does a message get to you?
And everybody!
And Deriko's singing now.
Oh, is this Tino's lady?
Oh, what is that?
Guys, apes are coming to Hong Kong.
It's going to be absolutely wild.
Thank you so much for listening to us today.
It was an unbelievable episode.
I love it so much.
We could go for hours, but we have to stop now because we have more episodes to come.
You know, you will join us or we join your spaces.
And let's fucking go, everybody.
This was Grateful Show 201.
Have a great weekend, guys.
Thank you so much.
I can't, I can't end this.
Let's fucking go!
Okay, we start again, man.
We start again.
Oh my God, what's happening here?
Oh my God.
Okay, okay, okay.
I know some people stayed on stage.
You know, I tried to end the episode.
It didn't work, but let's clap our hands.
You know, I love this song.
You know, we got game.
Let's go, baby.
Let's fucking do it.
Chuck D, baby.
Chuck D on stage.
Let's clap your hands.
Just clap your hands, everybody.
Come on, come on, clap your hands.
Come on, y'all.
Y'all ain't tired.
Say, I'm not tired.
I'm not tired.
I'm not what?
I'm not tired.
I'm retired.
I'm not what?
I'm not what?
I'm not what?
We not tired.
We not stopping.
Let's fucking go, everybody.
Let's fucking go, everybody.
Let's fucking go, everybody.
